I think the fans would love to see Kenley back.
And everybody, you know, he loves L.A.
People around L.A. love him.
And they remember all the good things he did for the Dodgers.
I think that could be kind of a fun thing.
Hello, everybody.
And welcome to this live edition of Dodgers territory right here on the Fowell Territory
channel.
I am Alonarizzo.
My co-host, as always, is Clint Paseas.
He is also the host of All Dodgers.
he has his own podcast on that.
We'll talk about more of that in a little bit.
And Clint, before the Dodgers hit the road,
we had discussed that Sunday's game was a get right game.
And I texted you the other day.
I said, it looks like they've had a lot of get right games in a row.
What's your takeaway?
Yeah, you know, you lose one.
You lose the getaway day game there in Toronto,
but you're still five and one on the road.
You're feeling really good.
And things are clicking for this team so far.
So I like what I'm saying.
All right.
It's time now to get into the big ticket as the show gets underway.
All right, Clint, you had mentioned a good five and one road trip so far.
They have a big series against a division rival starting today in Arizona against the debacks.
But hey, I'll take five and one so far.
And it looks like the hitting has gotten a little bit better up and down the lineup.
Yeah, overall, everybody's hitting.
I mean, Shoy Otani doesn't have the best of series there in Toronto,
does win the first at bat with that Homer kind of quiets the boo birds.
We'll talk about that in a second.
But what you like from this team, you like them showing the fight.
You like them, they're spreading out the offense.
This isn't a team that's scoring eight in one inning or five in one inning.
They're keep scoring throughout the game.
They're playing more, as Dave Roberts talked about.
They're playing more complete baseball.
And that's what you need to see from this team.
We saw Max Muncie nearly giving the team to lead late last night or late last yesterday afternoon in Toronto.
So every little bit in peace, even with a bullpen game, things going well.
But I think we got to talk a little bit about Otani because Alana, did you enjoy Otani?
I guess what will say is it getting the first laugh, the last laugh as he's booed there in Toronto?
I think it's the first and the middle and the last.
And he did actually get on a plane and go to Toronto and actually landed.
in Toronto and the boo birds were out as they should be, right? I mean, that's what makes fans beautiful
is the fact that they can boo this guy because they wanted him to be a blue jay and he's in blue.
It's just the wrong color of blue, if it's according to them. They boo him fiercely. Dan Shulman,
who does an amazing job, was on foul territory saying it's probably the loudest in terms of booze
that he's ever heard there at the Rogers Center. But then Shohay just goes up there and hits a bomb.
And what a beautiful park that lends itself to Otani's swing. But that's what you have to do, right? And they don't
boo nobody's Clint. I mean, how many times do you get boo? Just when you go to the grocery
store. They don't boo nobody. So this is exactly what you want. And then Showhead, just shut
them up with, you know, the swing of the bat. Come on, you think I go to the grocery
store. I have somebody do that for me. Oh, of course. I apologize. I apologize. My bad.
I've been a collared shirt on. But I love the signs there. You do got to enjoy that.
I mean, that's what baseball is about. It's what sports is about. It's about that fandom.
Toronto fans, Blue Jays fans thought they had signed this guy. And now they're pulling out
signs that say no tony which i thought that was pretty funny but uh i mean show hey going off with
with just i forgot how hard that that homer was you know he's going to hit something over 120
miles an hour off the bat this year he's an absolute specimen this is a monster but what i like
from show hey doing what he does best taking the high road one of the quotes he had said uh you know
no matter how the fans may think of me i'm grateful for the teams that approached me that you know
had interest in me in the offseason.
One of the things he said in this press conference,
ultimately press conference,
ultimately he could only choose one team
and it happened to be the Dodgers.
And sorry Toronto,
but now that plane has taken Shohei out of Canada.
Well, he's already in Arizona.
They're getting ready to start a series tonight,
of course, against the Diamondbacks.
D.B. Cooper, thanks for being a part of Dodgers territory.
Were they also booing Jay's ownership?
Heard that perspective.
And it made some sense, perhaps.
You know, I don't know exactly where the booze were directed,
DB. Thanks for the conversation. But maybe. I mean, I do think that the Toronto Blue Jays did what they
could to get Shohei Otani in Toronto. I also think that there was no way in the world
Shohei was going anywhere other than Los Angeles. I think Shohei really wanted to play in L.A.
And I think obviously $700 million is a lot to turn away. Not to say that Toronto didn't
offer him that. I don't know. Other teams perhaps may have. Maybe it wasn't just the Dodgers.
But I really don't think Clint that there was any chance, maybe a five to ten.
10% chance.
Show Hey wasn't going to be in Dodger Blue?
If that.
This is a dude who wanted to be a Dodger for a long time.
I think back when he was first coming to the States,
he probably would have signed with the Dodgers if the Universal D.H.
was a thing.
It was not.
He went to Anaheim, wasted a number of years there.
Artie was never going to give him money.
But I'm not going to trash the Angels again.
They do a good enough job doing that themselves.
But it is, I will always keep, I'm going to keep saying.
It is fun to see Shohei Otani in Doddy.
Roger Blue, and it's fun to see him.
I mean, a lot of you know you've been in this Dodgers clubhouse before,
not this particular one.
But to see early in the season, the relationships come together.
We had a great article dropped by Stephanie Epstein for Sports Illustrated of the Otani
friendship relationship with Teoska Hernandez, which I guess has been budding for years.
But we saw that, Dodgers fans saw that very early in the season.
You got Teo teaching Yama and Shohay some Spanish and all.
that. But this is the type of stuff. I imagine you really got to love and maybe even get like harking
back to Hunjin Ryu, Yasio Puig days, them playing around a little bit of Rebae in there.
I think it's so neat that, first of all, if anybody has the opportunity, read Stephanie's article
because she's such a tremendous writer, a brilliant writer for Sports Illustrated. And she talks in
this article about the fact that, you know what, they don't even try to speak each other's language,
even though they're trying to learn kind of a word a day. But they're trying to mumble through the
English language with also extravagant gestures and facial expressions. And they have such a warm and
loving relationship and friendship. It's really cool that they're using their second language,
English, as trying to be their universal language together. And of course, they played with one
another on the American League when it was as far as the All-Star game was concerned. And they're
just trying to figure this game out together. And really honestly, they're the new guys in the
clubhouse. When you think about this Dodgers roster and this Dodgers team, it's like they're,
they're the newbies, uh, even though obviously show his, as a unicorn in the league. So Stephanie does
a great job describing it. And one thing that I love that she said in this article, Clint, is fluency
isn't the point. Connection is. That was such a great line by Stephanie. Yeah. And you see it,
you know, you see it, uh, pregame. And again, you see the little things. This is one of the things I think I
really enjoy about the long road trips as you see the social media team uh you know posting some
things sue joe doing a great job and her her staff there uh with the dodger social media team but
you get to see a little bit of behind the scenes a little bit of those relationships and kind of the
mean mugging and dumb things like that that people do when they're going to be stuck with each other
for the next week and a half on the road but uh you know you love this you love those two guys
a pair of hell of uh great signings for the dodgers this offseason and i don't think anybody was
expecting to Oscar Hernandez to come to the Dodgers this off season, especially on a one-year deal.
And now he's playing a huge part in kind of getting this new look team, which isn't necessarily
a crazy new-look team, but getting just different vibes in that clubhouse.
And hopefully all the way through October and into a championship parade and all that kind of
stuff. But we will take it one month at a time.
I'm sure the Toronto Blue Js fans would like to have Teoska Hernandez back.
He's having a great year.
So obviously, so is Shohay Otani.
Tim Neverett's going to be joining us here momentarily.
He does a great job covering the Los Angeles Dodgers for Sportsnet, L.A., as well, for AM 570.
So we'll talk to him about this recent road trip.
But before we get to Tim, Clint, I wanted to talk about the fact that Shohay now has as many home runs as a Dodger as his manager does.
There was a little bit of a joke, the first one that he hit in a Dodger uniform.
He's like, I want to have the record as a Dodger from Japanese-born players, right?
So Shohei already has seven.
Dave also has seven.
But it took Dave three years in a Dodgers uniform.
He had three in 2002.
He had two in 2003.
And then he had two in 2004 before he got traded to the Red Sox and became a World Series champion hero.
But that was super cute.
You know, there's just like these little games within the game that are fun to celebrate in a 162 game season.
Long season.
You need little things to look forward to.
And, hey, Dave got to hold that record for a good long time.
So I'm quite certain he's happy to hand it off to Shohei Otani.
Oh, no doubt about it.
I mean, you want your players.
It's almost like you want your kids to do better than you in life.
I'm sure that if he's managing a team, he definitely wants his players to supersede his record.
He would love nothing more than Shohei to have a World Series championship as a Dodger as well.
That means that Dave would have his second.
Hello, hello.
I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of Smart Talks with IBM.
I recently spoke with IBM's new director of research.
Jake Embatta, we discussed his vision for the future of quantum computing.
At IBM research, what we always do is answer what is the future of computing,
whether it's coming up with new algorithms, coming up with better AI,
coming up with quantum, or coming up with just how do different accelerators go together.
It's our DNA to answer the question of what is the future.
Isn't it a perfect problem for IBM because you kind of need to have a legacy of building stuff?
Yes.
building actual physical machines.
Yeah, it's why I came to IBM.
I wanted the experience, the culture of building hard things that others have not done before.
Where do you imagine we are in the timeline of this technology?
There will come a point when it will mature.
Right?
My cell phone is a mature technology at this point.
How far are we from that point with Conton?
By 2029, we'll build the first fault-tolerant quantum computer.
That is one that can run a very, very large, large problem.

I'm Brian. I work at United Healthcare.
So, Brian, why do you care?
I care because I don't want to leave anybody behind.
I oversee one of the biggest resource center in United Healthcare.
I see people walked in in my office every day, just like my parents.
They have no idea about the health care.
I feel like they are my uncles, aunties.
I treat people like family.
I'm Brian and I'm committed to care.
All right, we're going to bring in Tim Neverett now, of course, as we get into behind the seams.
What's going on?
There it is.
Oh, very go.
Very go.
Hey, Tim, how are you?
Great to see you. Thanks for being with us.
Good to see you guys. Thanks for having me on today. Appreciate it very much.
And glad to be back in the Pacific time zone after a couple of stops in D.C. and Toronto.
Yeah, but Tim, it was a good road trip. You'll take five and one so far on this trip.
What do you think the reason was that they were able to string these victories together?
I think a lot of it obviously were the bats, the defense, the bullpen, the starting pitching.
I think you can name anything.
And that was the reason for this success on the road trip.
And honestly, yesterday in Toronto, they should have won that game too.
But for some reason, both Dalton Varsho and George Springer decided to be Superman in the outfield.
And the outfield defense of the Blue Jays won that game for them.
The Dodgers had a chance in the eighth inning.
They had another chance in the ninth.
I mean, Andy Paez was just absolutely robbed by Springer on one of the better catches you'll ever see.
But if it wasn't for the outfield defense, if they had played above average,
outfield defense yesterday, Toronto,
the Dodgers would have won the game.
I mean, that's how good their defense was yesterday.
So, honestly, this team could be six and oh
after the first two cities.
But five and one, as you said, Alana, we'll definitely
take that. Yeah, you take that.
They're looking a lot better coming out of
that homestand where things
really just did not seem to be
clicking very well for the team.
Have you seen anything being on the road with this team?
Have you seen anything kind of different
within the clubhouse, different
vibes? Is it, and we know the road can change some things sometimes. You go out, you spend more time
with your teammates, any sort of little changes you happen to notice? Not really. These guys,
they're April. I mean, these are all veteran players for the most part. This is April of a season.
Still a long way to go when they know it. So they're not really doing much different at this point in time.
their daily work.
One thing to do notice is that the players could really work on the field.
A lot of the guys are out there early.
I think one thing I've noticed differently is Freddie Freeman taking batting practice on the field,
which normally he likes to hit underneath.
Shoah Otani always hits underneath.
Muki Betz was hitting underneath sometimes on the field.
He's been on the field more often than not lately.
That's pretty much the only.
thing I've noticed that that's been any different per se. But, you know, Freddie got out on the,
on the field sometimes last year, too. It wasn't exclusively a guy who hits underneath. But not really.
I mean, honest, they're just going through their natural progressions. They're going through the
regular routine. And they're coming up with really good results. You knew Mookie when he was in Boston.
And Mookiee obviously did not come up as a right fielder. He made himself into a tremendous gold glove
outfielder. Now he's moved back into the infield and he's probably going to be a gold glove
shortstop or second basement depending upon where they have him on the field. You've seen him
involved as a player, as a man, as a person, you've seen him develop. What's been the most impressive
thing from your vantage point watching him over the years? The impressive thing is that he can come in
from the outfield and play shortstop at an above average major league level. I don't know anybody who can
do that. That's just crazy. Right.
He's a six-time gold glover in the outfield who comes into play shortstop and doesn't miss a beat.
But the one thing that I've seen Muky do this year that I really haven't seen him do in years past,
he's never really had a great spring training.
He's a good spring trainings, but he's never really had a great spring training.
This year, he was on fire during spring training.
And that carried over into the regular season.
And look at him now.
He leads in batting average.
He leads in runs scored.
He leads in on-base percentage.
He leads in, what else, hits.
He leads in accolades from broadcasters.
I mean, he leads from everything.
And the guy runs the bases.
I still say he runs the bases better than anybody in the game.
Oh, and by the way, he hasn't struck out in over, what, almost 50 plate appearances now,
which is really good for him.
He's not taking that outside pitch for a strike anymore.
He's going after it.
he is being selective enough and he's got an eight-game hitting streak,
five straight games with an extra base hit.
He's hitting like 571 over that period of time.
I mean, it's just crazy.
And he's a good dancer.
And a good bowler.
So, yeah, he's a great bowler.
The guy's unbelievable.
So, yeah, when he was with the Boston Red Sox,
the only time I saw him play the infield, I mean, occasionally he came in.
It was very rare when he would come in.
I think I saw him at second base.
But there was a time, I think, in 2016, we used to play a five-man infield at times,
and he would be the guy to come in over the top, and he'd play behind second base.
But that was about it.
He did take ground balls every day, though, at short and at third, and sometimes at second.
He did that every single day in Boston.
Maybe a premonition.
Yeah.
Maybe so.
He was always trying to say, hey, put me back.
back here. This is where I want to be. With Mookie, you can kind of wonder, are you,
maybe you could point to three different things. This is a guy that maybe in the off
season was pretty pissed at himself. And obviously, one player does not make or break a playoff
series, did not have a very good playoff series against the Diamondbacks. Dodgers,
and as a whole did not. So maybe you kind of power through that. He also knew he was moving
into the infield full time. That's something that kind of spark him. One of the other things I look
at is over the last few years,
Muky Betts has had a few of these little nagging
injuries messing with him.
This is now a guy that is fully healthy.
Of those three things, what do you think
is maybe stands out
the most? Is it health? Is it kind of
that past failure
spark? Or is it an infield
or is it a combination?
You know, Clint, I think
when you talk about past failure with him,
he's one of the most competitive
people here
we're going to meet.
So if you go
bowling with him, he wants to bury you. He doesn't care who you are. He wants to bury you.
If he plays cards with you, he wants to bury you, right? So he's one of the most competitive
people ever. So yeah, he did not have a good postseason last year. He did not help the team
in October when he had hoped to do that. I mean, that's what he said when he came here at
his first press conference. He said, I'm here to win multiple rings. I'm here to win multiple championships.
And that's what he is solely focused on. The other thing you mentioned about the health,
that has helped his base running.
Now, you know, you look at his stolen bases right now.
He hasn't been caught.
I think seven in stolen bases.
Actually, I can look at my scorebook here.
I got it right in front of me.
Eight for eight.
Yeah, eight for eight stolen bases.
But he is running at times when last year he would anchor himself to first base
because he might not have been totally healthy.
So with him having healthy legs, that's going to be a huge deal for the Dodgers.
Obviously the run scored.
He's probably going to end up leading the league and run scored.
Again, that's something when you look at his numbers year after year are great.
But here's one thing to look at, if you look at his numbers month by month over his career, April, May, they're okay, 200-something, 240s.
June starts to go up a little bit.
July, now we're starting to talk.
And then August, September, he's done really well.
And you can go look it up on baseball reference.
Look it up year by year.
that pattern. This year is different for him because he's starting off. He's hitting what,
three, what was he yesterday, 391 before he went one for four. So, I mean, guys flirting with
400 already and it's almost May. This is uncharted territory for him when you talk about
the first month of the season in terms of batting average. Clint, as long as he doesn't cool
down in October, my friend, we're going to be fine. Hello, hello, I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of

I'm Spencer and I work at United Healthcare.
So, Spencer, why do you care?
I care because my daughter, Adeline, has special...
needs. I am motivated by Adeline, who inspires me every day. I am driven to help families like
mine navigate the health care system. I'm so blessed to lead an amazing team at United
Healthcare focusing on the member experience and making that better. I'm Spencer, and I'm committed
to care. Tim, I want to continue to talk to you about Andy Pahas. This is a kid, Andy Pahas, of course,
that I think we needed a bit of a spark to our lineup, right? Clint and I had to discuss.
that we needed something, a little juice perhaps, in the bottom part of the order.
He's hitting 310 right now, Tim.
I know it's a short and small sample size.
I get that.
But is he here to stay?
You know, I'd be surprised if he went back anytime soon, to be honest with you.
He's hitting the baseball.
You hit, they're going to find a place for you.
He keeps hitting his way into the lineup, and that's not going to change.
He got robbed of a double by Springer yesterday.
That doesn't go unnoticed.
I mean, that's not your typical offer.
You know, Rick Monday and I, we do all the spring training games, right, on both radio and TV.
So we see all the stuff that goes on in Arizona.
We saw Pahas this year come back like a man possessed.
Two years ago, he lost a bunch of weight.
Then this year, after the shoulder surgery he had last spring, late last spring,
he came back like a man possessed on the field.
Anything on the inner half, he was pulling it, and he's still doing it.
But we saw him with really good power in spring training.
and Rick and I would be talking off there going, hey, this guy's got something here.
He's looking pretty good.
And they sent him over to minor league camp a little earlier than I thought they might,
but there's a reason for everything in baseball, right?
So, you know, he goes to Oklahoma City, wasn't there very long,
but he just hit his way out of AAA.
And when Jason Hayward went down, needed an outfield bat,
you know, Chris Taylor struggling from the right side.
So they brought up Pahez, and I don't see Pahas being out of the lineup
unless they just determine he needs a rest day.
And the way he's swinging the bat, nobody wants him to rest right now.
Yeah, I mean, this is a kid that has been so important to, he's, once again,
not one player will not make or break or line up, but that kind of addition to the bottom of the order
and nobody really stepping up in the absence of Jason Hayward.
I would argue they need to find a new number for this kid because 84 is not going to be cutting it for very much longer.
But it's not all sunshine and rainbows for the Dodgers.
Of course, they have some injury issues, particularly on the pitching side of things.
We see the bullpen, another bullpen game here on the road.
Maybe Michael Grove should have gone one hitting or two.
But what do you feel about the bullpen games this early in the season
and kind of powering your way through, trudging through the injuries that this team has had in the pitching staff?
Well, I think the bullpen games right now are baseball's version.
of load management. You know, they talk about that in the NBA all the time, right?
You know, with Yoshinuba Yamamoto, he pitched once a week in Japan. He's basically been doing
the same thing here. And a lot of it is because they're taking advantage of the days off.
And also they'll have a bullpen game. And it gives somebody like Tyler Glasnow on extra
days rest. And, you know, it doesn't hurt him either. He's been pitching lights out.
You know, James Paxton's been pitching pretty well. He'll go tonight here in Arizona.
You know, I just think that the Dodgers are being very, very cautious with their starters.
They know they got a couple of big ones coming back when Walker Dueller's almost back.
He's supposed to start in AAA tomorrow, I think.
And then he should be back after that because he's exhausted his IL stint.
So he'll be back in the rotation at some point, you know, sometime on the homestand, I think.
And then, you know, that guy named Clayton Kershaw that we all have seen pitched so well
before. He's still not out of the mix. Last time I talked to him a couple of weeks ago,
he said he's feeling really good. He's been throwing the baseball, you know, July-ish, August,
maybe, but as long as he's healthy down the stretch. So, you know, you got guys like that still
on the way back. And as far as a bullpen goes, I mean, all in all, it hasn't been that
terrible, especially on this road trip. You know, Joe Kelly came in, punched him out the other
day, Evan Phillips, even when he struggled, even when he showed he was human in Washington,
when he walked three, he still got out of it without giving up a run. So, yeah, I mean, the
bullpen's been pretty good. I don't really have any complaints about the bullpen at all right now.
I think that, you know, even Nebile Khrsmack getting another chance. He looked pretty good
yesterday. So they've got depth. They've got people they can bring up, people they can add and
subtract. And the bullpen is a moving piece the whole year anyway. And Vezia had a good
doubting his last time out. Always emotional. Always good to see that. Let me ask you this. I'm not
going to commit that the Red Sox are going to be sellers yet. I think the Red Sox are performing
better than we thought they were. They have the best starters ERA in the league. Is there room
if they sell for Kenley to come back in your opinion?
My opinion, I think the fans would love to see Kenley back. I'd like to see Kenley now that
the pitch clock is here because the last time we had Kenley Jansen, there was no pitch clock.
So, I mean, if you wanted to read, you know, chapters of a book in between pitches, you could do that.
But he's really good.
His cutter's still good.
He's still effective.
Would there be room for him?
I don't know that he'd be the closer because Evan Phillips, I think, has really locked down that role and he's done a great job.
But, I mean, if you could have a guy that can come in and get three outs for a late in a ballgame, seventh eighth inning, you know, I don't care what his name is.
But if it's Ken Lee Jansen and he's the guy doing it, I think.
think that'd be fun to see. And everybody, you know, he loves L.A. People around L.A.
love him. And they remember all the good things he did for the Dodgers. I think that
could be kind of a fun thing. But, you know, the Red Sox, if they keep winning some games here
in there, Alana, they're not going to be as anxious to sell.
I agree, 100%. Yeah, I'm not writing them off yet. Not writing them off yet.
Yeah. And the Dodgers, we know they have, they have some guys on the aisle that could come back
and maybe take any potential spots that Kenley could fill. So there's time until trade deadline.
Tim, we've got to get you one more before we do let you get out of here,
but this is the first matchup between the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks this season.
Of course, the last time leaves an ugly impression on Dodgers fans in their memory.
What are you looking forward to in the series with the Diamondbacks in Arizona?
Short memories. That's what I'm looking for.
You know, Dave Roberts has said that there is no carryover with this.
There's no meaning to it at all.
He said the names that they brought in this year kind of, you know, negate all that stuff.
And they're just going in like it's a fresh series.
They're not concerned whatsoever about what's happened, what's happened, happened.
It was ugly last fall.
We all remember it.
We all would like to forget it.
So it's time to flush that down the toilet and start brand new.
And, you know, tonight's the night they do that.
They're playing well right now on the road.
And, you know, it's going to be an interesting game.
I think tonight, because I always look at it from a fan's point of view, too.
In the back of their mind, they're like, yeah, you know, we want to get these guys and sweep
them and stuff, but you can't sweep them if you don't win the first game.
So you've got to win the first game today, see what happens.
But I don't think there's going to be much carryover at all.
I don't think the guys really are thinking about that at all.
It's just game number 31 with 131 to go.
As James Paxon on the Hill for the Dodgers tonight, of course, it's Tommy Henry for the Diamond
who's done a nice job in the absence of Merrill Kelly. I think history, though, Tim Neverd,
is on our side as we say goodbye to you. Over the course of the time since 2020, the Dodgers
have a 46 to 15 advantage over the Arizona Diamondbacks. We're just going to forget about the NLDS.
Tim Neversett, our friend, we appreciate you very much for being here today. Thanks so much for
taking some time for us to be on Dodgers territory. Anytime. Always good to hear your guys' voices,
that's for sure. All right. Tim Neversett does such a great job on AM-57.
and SportsNet, LA. It was fun to talk to him, of course, right on the pulse of everything that's going on, Clint.
All right, it is time, my friend, for Last Lix.
All right, so Last Lix, of course, Gidre's Guardian Foundation, by the way, check out my baseballism shirt.
This benefits Gidre's Guardian Foundation. It's the Bow-W line.
So check out baseballism. We always appreciate that. 10% of proceeds goes to Gidre's Guardian Foundation.
Our last Licks this week is a pup by the name of Ruger.
He is a five and a half week, our year old Husky.
Giddy's Guardian Foundation has teamed up with Carl, which is the K-9 Animal Rescue League, to get him a forever home.
He's a husky, so an active family would be best, somebody that likes to hike, someone that likes to walk.
Huskies need to be worked, right?
They need a job.
So if you're looking for a fun playmate, somebody that you can do some outdoor activities with, check us out, giddreysgardian.org.
So we can help find Ruger a forever home.
guys adopt don't shop and that is an adorable pup to add to the family all right what is your take mr
paseous on the series uh against the arizona diamond backs tonight listen the dodgers have a four
and a half game advantage in the division it could go either way if they sweep this series they have a
seven and a half game if they lose all three games they're down to one and a half game so it's an
important series i think yeah i mean it's just another series but it's also a very important series uh
because I think Dodgers fans really want to see game one.
They really, really want to see a suite.
But best way to fight those demons of October pass
is to sweep your way through Arizona,
come back home with a hell of a road trip at,
what would that be, 8 and 1?
I don't know, math is not my forte.
But not the most important series if you do end up losing, you know,
two of three.
Just don't get swept.
That's your most important thing.
Do not get swept in Arizona.
All right.
It would be 8 and 1.
You are correct.
It could have been 9-0, as we just heard Tim Everett say, apart from that great outfield defense by the Toronto Blue Jays.
That's going to do it for us here on Dodgers Territory.
If you like what you do, please subscribe to us.
We're on the Fowell Territory channel right there on YouTube or wherever you get your podcast.
And don't forget to do the exact same for Clint's show, All Dodgers.
We'll see you next on Thursday for another live edition.
Take care all.
Bye.
