Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.

There's a list of 100 names in the Tier 4, Tier 5 list of the MLB.com article, but I cut it down to 12 free agents for us, and here they are now, the big reveal.
Happy, Happy Thanksgiving.
We are thankful for you.
I am Alana Rizzo.
That is my guy, Clint Paseas.
We are your hosts of a brand new episode of Dodgers Territory.
Thank you for being here.
We know you're trying to get away from your family.
That is why you were joining your DT family.
And we want you here, man.
Rate us five stars, like, subscribe, all of the things on YouTube, on the podcast.
Wherever you get us, we appreciate it.
We were trying to get to 15,000 subs.
And we need you guys to help us get there.
Happy holidays, everybody.
It is Thanksgiving.
It is Turkey Day.
It is football on television.
It is good food.
It is good friends.
It is sometimes good family.
There it is.
Clint Paseas.
I am thankful for you, but let's talk about the doyers.
What are we thankful, Clint, as far as being a Dodger fan?
We have a lot to be thankful for.
Yeah, there's an insane amount to be thankful for as a Dodger fan these days.
How about back-to-back titles, back-to-back championships for your boys in blue?
The last one, you never had any worries or doubts.
I had some worries and doubts.
Fans had some worries or doubts, but they gave us one of the, I'm also thankful for that
game seven, why not? But I am thankful that this team is so good and finds a way to win.
That's my one. What do you got? I love it. I love it. Mine is three titles in six years.
Could have been four. Three titles in six years. And I don't have, and I'm not just saying
this, Clint, because we are Dodgers fans, because we are Dodgers broadcasters, because we cover the
Dodgers on the daily. Could have been four. 2020, my friend, not an asterisk. Everybody had to
play the same amount of games, right? Everybody had the same opportunity. And some would,
argue those that were in it, those that had to do it, and were in the bubble. Some would argue
2020 was harder just because of COVID and all of the things. So I'm going to say I'm super
thankful for three titles in six years, you're up. Yeah. And saying it could have been four if
them cheating Astros didn't cheat in 2017. And part of that for me is the next thing I'm thankful
for, which is more broad stroke. How about five World Series births over nine season? That
is pretty dang cool.
This Dodgers team.
Listen, so many people.
You guys here on the internet,
you remember the Frank McCourt era.
You remember the tail end of that era?
You remember when Bud Seelig had to step in
and thankfully save us from Frank and Jamie McCourt
and forced the team to be sold.
Since then, since Mark Walter and Guggenheim have taken over,
it's been just a constant uphill climb.
Okay, maybe a little bit of stumbling in 22 and 23,
but since then it has been just so awesome.
It's a great time to be a Dodger fan.
And I am grateful, I am grateful for that, Alana.
What else are you grateful for?
Yeah, I mean, it's not even so much.
It's not even so much of a stumbling in 2022 and 2022 and 23.
It's more of like I stubbed my toe.
And Lakers fans, get ready because the new ownership group is taking over.
You guys are in for really, really great stuff.
I am thankful for Mr. Shohei Otani, who by the way, has just announced that he is going to be playing once again for Team Japan and the WBC, as he should.
He is a Japanese countryman.
He should play for Team Japan.
Pan. Obviously, they are defending champs in the World Baseball Classic. I am thankful for Shohei.
I am thankful for the fact that he went from the Angels to the Dodgers. He probably would have
taken the Dodgers to begin with had the DH been instituted at the time in the National League.
Show Hey has been there for two years. They've won two World Series championships. Is it only because
of Showe? Absolutely not. Is he the greatest player we've ever seen? Absolutely.
Shohay, thank you.
It's funny how bored we get of like 50 home run seasons because we wanted,
why is he hitting another homer right now?
I got another guy I'm thankful for, a fellow countryman of Shohei Otani, a teammate,
a two-time World Series champion as well, somebody who probably will be pitching
alongside him in that WBC, Yoshinovo Yamamoto.
You guys know at the start of the season.
I kind of just tossed it out for fun.
This is my Say Young Award pick.
This is my Say Young winner.
I think Yoshinobu Yamamoto was going to have a great season of 2025.
I didn't think it would be as good as it was,
and I didn't think it would be as insane as it was during that World Series run.
So I am thankful for the Dodgers not listening to Josh Redick and his stupid tweet
and signing him to a 13-year, $325 million bargain.
You know what's crazy is Josh Reddick just recently went off of private on X,
and Dodgers fans were all over.
Talk about having nothing to do in the office.
They're like, oh, he's off private.
Look at this full with this tweet.
Who would give a guy $325 million that's never pitched in the big leagues?
Well, that would be the World Series MVP, Yoshinobu Yamamoto,
who was so damn tired, couldn't even lift up the MVP trophy at the World Series.
He said, losing is not an option, Klimpacius.
Yama, you are the man.
I am thankful for Mookie Betts and his growth as a shortstop.
Not only is he a massive team player, I will play anywhere on the field.
I am a gold glove right fielder.
I am becoming an unbelievable shortstop.
I will do whatever you need to do.
I can bowl 300.
I can golf like the best of them.
I am an all-around athlete.
I am the freaking man.
I have four World Series championships.
I am the only active player that can boast as much.
Mookie, thank you.
Mookie is the man soon to become five.
He wants to fill up that hand.
And we want him to win two more World Series.
So it could be a handful of Dodgers rings.
So we want nine more or eight more World Series so Shoah can go 10 for 10 as a Dodger.
Great pick there.
Looking forward to seeing Mookie bounce all the way back, be healthy in 2026.
One guy who will not be on the team in 2026.
One guy I'm very thankful for the final season of Clayton Kershaw.
Thankful that we got to see 18 years of Clayton Edward Kershaw.
I'm extremely thankful that I got to be at his final pitch ever.
I got to see his final out ever.
Our hearts were in, I don't know if this is an expression, but our hearts were in our buttholes.
It was terrifying.
It was a terrifying situation at Dodger Stadium.
So also thankful to our producer, Mark, and foul territory for thinking of me and getting me a credential to be there at Dodger Stadium, however far away I was from home plate.
I'm happy that I got to see Clayton Kershaw pitch that one final time.
And again, thankful for 18 seasons of that dude.
Bro, I don't think you understand how World Series credentials work.
I covered the team on a daily basis.
I was the team reporter when we were in Houston and 17, and I was in center field.
JJ Watt looked like he was my size.
Okay, that's how far away I was.
And by the way, I got in trouble for saying that I was so far away.
I got in trouble because I am a public figure.
So there you have it.
So don't complain.
You're at least in the building.
Yes, Clayton, I have so much respect and admiration for him.
I also have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration, and I am thankful for Dave Roberts.
Everybody with the fired Dave Roberts over the course of his tenure, shut it.
www.com, okay?
Don't hear that anymore.
The man has been so unbelievable.
I mean, his record as an active manager, what he's done with this team, the moves that he has made last year, maneuvering the flipping, you know, starting staff, this year maneuvering the bullpen.
Every move that this man has made, and even though I questioned it in the DS last year, I get it.
He needed that.
Dave is the goat.
Dave is the goat.
And Dave even admitted that, you know, he, that was a, it was a scary situation in the postseason against the Padres.
And again, I will, I will admit, or I will say again, that was the most, to me last year, that was the, that was the World Series.
The Pottery series was the World Series.
This year I felt like the Phillies series was the World Series.
So there you have it.
That Dave, you were the goat.
And I hope that you continue being the goat for a very long time.
And Dave will, to me, right now, could retire tomorrow and be in the Hall of Fame.
He deserves that.
No question.
I mean, he's not going to be done until he gets his repeat, three Pete, even a four Pete in there.
Like, we got to talk about minimum eight Pete for Dave Roberts.
Great, great, just great dude, great overall.
Best manager in baseball, hands down.
So great guy, great guy to be grateful for there.
The final thing I'll be kind of grateful for is the state of the Dodgers.
We've talked a lot about the season, last season, looking back even as far back as the McCourt era,
but I want to look ahead.
The state of Los Angeles Dodgers, you know, people are kind of, us included, losing their minds.
There's not a lot of activity.
There's not a lot of hot stove rumors.
There hasn't been much going on.
especially with the Dodgers.
That's because they're good.
I mean, yes, the front office is incredibly tight-lipped.
You're not going to hear about a lot of crap either way.
But even more so, they don't have a lot of incredibly glaring needs.
Yes, you need a reliever.
Yes, you need an outfielder, most likely.
But even if they don't land an outfielder,
they got a couple of dudes that could plug in there with Ryan Ward and Alex Call.
But more so for me, along the state of that starting rotation,
the insanity, and we've put that graphic up a couple of times,
times. Like you have four number one pitchers at the back end of the rotation. You have Emmett Sheehan,
who I agree with you, by the way, is somebody who is a prime trade candidate in the right
situation because he is a surplus. Not going to get every single day. I would love Evin Sheehan to be in our
rotation every day. We don't need Emmett Sheehan right now. So if you're going to be able to get
somebody back that's going to help the team today, then thank you, Emmett, for your service.
But like, I would rather you have a job every fifth day to improve yourself.
develop and get your bag and have somebody that's going to benefit the Dodgers right now.
I don't want Emmett Sheean to go away.
People calm the F down.
I'm just saying it might more sense if we need an outfielder.
Maybe Emmett is part of that package.
That is all I'm saying.
You trade value to get value.
That is an area of surplus for the Dodgers.
They have Gavin Stone coming back.
You have River Ryan coming back.
Roki Sasaki is going to be in the starting rotation or at least will be a starter this year.
There's not an, I mean, look at it.
Let's lay it all out there.
There's not enough space for everybody to get 30 starts, 25 starts.
And if Sheen can help fill a hole, you know.
And if you trade him now while his value is high, you get more in return.
Like it's a business, guys.
At the end of the day, it's a business.
Do I appreciate Emmett Shee and, obviously.
But like, it's just like, what do we need right now?
We don't, we need an outfielder, especially a really good defensive center fielder,
more than we need Emmett Shee in right now.
That's all I'm saying.
Need him.
He's a nice to have at this point.
But to get us back on track, and I appreciate our tangent there,
because I think it was important to kind of address that,
because I've seen you taking crap online for people who don't pay attention
or don't pay attention to all of the words and all the things happening.
And I understand.
There's a lot of entertainment out there.
It's hard to pay attention to everything we're doing.
But back to the matter at hand being thankful for that starting rotation again.
The state of that starting rotation is insane, and I love it,
and it's a great time, once again, to be a Dodger fan.
You got anything else?
Yeah, I mean, I'm thinking, and I'm not saying this because we're on the air.
I'm not saying this because it's Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for this show.
I'm thankful for you.
I'm truly, truly, genuinely thankful for all the, no, really, like all the effort you put into the show.
You do way more for this show than I do.
You produce the show, you direct the show, you create all the graphics, you handle all of it.
I don't know.
A lot of people may not know that Clint oftentimes directs fair territory.
Clint has directed foul territory.
You know, so he puts a tremendous amount of effort.
This is not his flesh job, as he calls.
I didn't know what the hell of a flesh job was until I met Clint.
But anyway, I am appreciative of you.
This is our third year.
We're going into our fourth spring training, which is exciting.
I'm thankful for our daughter's territory family.
I'm thankful for our group of folks that love us and support the show.
And, you know, we obviously do this because we love the team, but we do it for you too.
and I'm grateful for Mark and Scott for hire.
Mark has hired me now three times.
I don't know if the man is dumb or what,
but he has now hired me in my career three times,
twice at MLB Network and one for this show.
So I don't know.
I'm grateful to still be a part of the game
and still be a part of the best team in the world.
What about you?
That's it.
I mean, I think we've glazed the team enough.
We've glazed each other and the fans enough.
How about we take a quick break here, hear from our friends at Fowel Territory and come back with something that is surely going to be misunderstood and piss people off.
So we'll be back in just a minute.
If you are still carrying a clunky leather brick that can be mistaken for an old school wallet, may I introduce you to what Eric Kratz is getting himself for the holidays?
I mean, this is the greatest wallet that I've ever seen in my life.
your credit cards fit in here it's adjustable lifetime guaranteed like what what like this is a must
have for the holidays absolute must have ridge olive mat that is the design that crats has right now

After your purchase, they'll ask you where you heard about Ridge.
Tell them foul territory sent you.
I'm John Green.
You may know me as the author of The Fault and Our Stars.
And now, I guess also is the co-host of the away end, a brand new world soccer podcast.
I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist.
And John and I have known each other since we were kids.
My first World Cup was Mexico 86.
I was nine years old.
I watched every game and I fell in love.
On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football,
all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star
player on our high school soccer team.
Very debatable.
And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan.
I love this game.
I love its history, it's hope, it's hard.
heartbreak, and above all, it's beauty.
Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.
Listen to the away end with Daniel Auerkone and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
47% off.
I love that.
Welcome back, guys.
By the way, please consider supporting the show with merchandise.
We now have gift cards and a Black Friday promotion with code Black Friday.
Duh.
Click the link in the video description or go to Dodgers, Tech.
territory shop.com promo hashtag or not hashtag but backslash. Yeah, backslash Black Friday. I love the
year. I'm not just saying that because I work on the show, but I legitimately love the
year. Like it's high quality. It's soft. It's awesome. I love it. Clint, you just got a beanie.
I have the hoodie. There's all kinds of stuff. So if you're looking for a gift for the Dodgers fan in
your life, if you like our show, check it out. We appreciate you very much. But we are shopping.
I'm wearing the wrong hat. I should be wearing my DT hat.
but I got to clean it. I got sweaty.
Sweaty, sweaty mess of a man.
We are shopping, though, right?
So Friday is Black Friday.
We're trying to get from the red into the black, right?
So trying to break even here.
Not even trying to make a profit.
Trying to get out of debt, Clint, and get back into the black.
So you're shopping, right?
No, that's Black Friday.
That's Black Friday.
Is that what it was supposed to be?
I never knew this.
Yes, like Black Friday is trying to get back to the Black.
Like if you're in the red, that means you're in debt.
So stores, merchants are trying to get in the black, trying to get at least at least at a push.
And then you try to make a profit.
And you're in, oh, good Lord.
Go to business.
Oh, man.
Why do that?
Yeah.
All right.
So if you had a Black Friday wish list, okay?
So we're going to pick two or three guys each as to why they would make sense.
Now, these again, guys, because it's Black Friday.
And we're talking about deals.
We're talking about discounts.
Specials.
Yeah.
Specials.
Yeah.
These are specials.
These are like coupon guys, right?
Oh, God.
All right, Clint.
So go ahead.
We'll just go back and forth.
Who is your first guy that you would take at a deal, at a bargain, if you will?
Yeah.
So, again, to give a little more context to this on MLB.com, they have a list of like, well, it's really like 130 free agents.
But it's basically all of the free agents out there.
They have them tiered out.
Tier 1, 2, 2, 2, 3.
I picked the tier four,
tier five guys for us to
pull from this list from.
And there's a hundred dudes.
First of all,
this makes my head,
this makes my ADD,
OCD mind,
like flip out.
So people don't need to memorize that list.
People don't need to memorize that list.
That is,
I believe it was 100 names.
I paired it down by one.
I cut that one down by one,
by the way.
I eliminated Kirby Yates because I wanted it to be even.
If you're talking about having OCD,
for people,
watching and not listening to us.
Yeah, yeah.
So sorry.
And I doubt they're going to bring back Kirby eights.
But anyways, there's a list of 100 names in the tier four, tier five list of the MLB.com article.
I will link that.
That will be linked in the video description as well.
But I cut it down to 12 free agents for us.
And here they are now, the big reveal.
The 12 guys, I think could make the most sense and also just some names that people would be happy with and familiar with.
And if you're saying, I'm going to lead us off.
I'll go ahead and lead us off with.
somebody I never thought I would be okay with welcoming back,
but I think there is a time and a place for it.
And right now it could be that time.
Kenley Jansen.
Kenley Jansen is on that list.
And KJ74 is a right-handed leverage reliever,
something that this team needs.
He has been there and done that.
He's actually been pretty damn good over the last couple of years.
Good, not great.
He's not elite Kenley.
Like we saw, you know, in the early,
2010s and all that, but he can still pick him up and put it down, uh, whatever that means in terms
of throwing a cutter. But he can get the job done for this team. And, um, I don't know,
fills a veteran role that could be, you know, that vacancy left open by Kirby Yates. So that's
one of the guys again with the idea he could probably be gotten a one year deal for pretty
cheap. And if he doesn't work out, you can cut him. But that's my number one.
All right. My number one is Cedric Mullins. And the reason, and again, we are being very,
clear guys these are tier four and tier five these are guys that you can get at a bargain not tiers
one through three okay so just keep that in mind cedric mullins i like this guy i love that he was a
switch hitter prior to the 2021 season he's not a switch hitter anymore he's a left-handed bat but
he's a good defensive center fielder we need a center fielder is he kyle tucker no is he
cody bellinger no but he's going to come at a price point that i think is something that is
worth talking about he's a doubled machine okay
This is not a guy that hits a billion home runs.
He has about 103 in his career, but he's hit a ton of doubles.
He's like, you know, back in in 2023, he had 23 doubles in 2021.
He had 37 doubles.
He doesn't have to be the dude.
I like his defense.
He knows how to patrol center field.
Cedric Mullins, I think, could be a decent fit.
Yeah, I love him as an option.
Definitely somebody who could play some left field can play some center field for this team.
he took a couple of pretty big stepbacks, both offensively and defensively,
particularly last year.
But I think a change of scenery, 100% makes a difference.
You're going to play better when you're putting on that Dodger uniform.
And I think there's still something left in the tank for Cedric Mullins.
So I like it, again, in the context here that we are talking about Black Friday shopping
in terms of human beings that are baseball players.
My second on my list of our two or three,
which is going to be three names each after all.
Luis Rengifo, Rengifo, however you want to say.
It's Luis Rengifo.
Rengifo.
Listen, it's about time to bring him home
because he was almost part of that deal way back when in, what was the
2020.
The angels almost shipped him along with, I think, Taylor Ward to the Dodgers
in exchange for.
a friend Ross Stripling and a current center fielder, Andy Paez, and also Jock Peterson,
is part of that deal.
But Artemirino, being the perennial moron that, he is, nixed the deal because it took too
long and he got butt hurt.
What I like about Renhifo is that he, if you're, you have a lot of fans that are kind of worried
about this team getting older, he is on the younger side.
He is a utility guy.
He can play everywhere.
I think they've even played him a little bit in left field.
But the fact that he can play some third, can play some short, can play some second base,
maybe a little bit of outfield.
He's got a solid enough bad.
He's a switch hitter as well.
In terms of adding a utility guy,
where right now they have a couple of vacancies
with Kike Hernandez and Miguel Rojas on the free agent market.
And by the way, Kiki Hernandez revealed that his elbow surgery is going to keep him out
for probably the first couple of months of the season.
So Rangipo, being a body that is younger and is capable.
I like him.
I really like him and I would not mind kicking the tires, bringing a couple of coupons as you were pointing out, see if you can get him, you know, as a Black Friday free agent deal.
But that's my number two guy.
Who's your number two?
All right.
Well, yes, Renhippo is going to be 29, Clint, when the season starts or when spring training starts.
So he is young, but you say he could fill a void left by Kike Hernanaz.
No, he can't because my number two is Kike Hernandez.
And I understand that he's not going to be available for the first couple.
of months. So if we're going to sign Luis Rehnhifo, it's only going to be on two-month deal
because I'm making the deals now. So it's a two-month deal. I'm in. And I'm bringing
Kikeke back. I don't care. I've said this a thousand times you can go oh for the season in the
regular season. Kike Hernandez, if you have to bring him back when the 60-day IL opens up,
when you bring back Evan Phillips, so be it. I don't care how you bring him back. But at some point
this season, Kike Hernandez must be on the Dodgers roster. Ponto.
end of sentence.
I don't care.
All right.
You're a big homer.
We get it.
No.
You don't want Kiki on your roster.
Are you out of your mind?
Kiki always makes sense for this team.
And the fact that he's going to take a couple of months off to start the season probably
helps him out.
I've never once said I don't want Kiki back.
I have said that I don't know that they bring him back.
Maybe this helps if he's willing to wait and not be a Black Friday signing for the sake
of this segment here.
If he's willing to wait into the season
and sign a, you know, I mean, you think
of Kikei Hernandez, you think of
Roger Clemens, you sign a late season
deal, you come back.
The same guy, minus
the steroids, of course. My last guy,
so on that list, there's
two names that were kind of honorable mentions
for me. I know you're not a fan of
Tommy fam, but the fact
that he has been linked to the Dodgers.
I'm not trying to get choked, okay?
It's not that I'm not a fan of Tommy
fam i just don't know that he fits in the dodgers system okay context i use my poor words let's calm
down okay like i'm not trying to i don't want any trouble with tommy i just don't think that he's the right
fit for this team got this moment what the hell are you trying to do to me wait brady got a choked a bitch
the other name i also had as an honorable mention is joan moncotta because i think he's another
type of change of scenery type of dude
can play some third base, play a little
bit of second base, he's had some pop in the past.
But I don't want either of those guys.
My third and final pick,
if we're talking about somebody being a home
or apparently it's going to be this guy because I'm
saying Justin Turner. Now, I hear me out.
I don't want him touching,
putting on the uniform. I don't want
him even showing up to spring training.
I want JT to sign that one day
deal that he talked about with
David Vassay at his annual
golf tournament. Sign a deal. Sign a deal.
return to the Dodgers, retire as a Dodger, and then enter the front office, whatever that
role is going to be, some sort of coaching role.
Come home, J.T.
You're 41, bro.
I'm 40.
My shit hurts.
I can only imagine.
He's in much better shape.
He has a lot more money to take care of himself.
You're not an athlete.
Let's be clear.
That's number one.
Softball champion manager here.
Bush League softball.
Enough.
By the way, speaking of softball, Jeremy Meyer, one of our wonderful producers, his dad's
just had a softball injury and tore his meniscus off the bone okay so here you be careful softball that's how
it gets you all right so i get i get the whole j t thing i don't think justin is done so i know you wanted
i know you want him to sign a one-day deal as a dodger retire as a dodger i do think very much he could
be like what the skip schumacher to bruce boccey was in texas i think jt could be that to dave roberts
not that dave roberts is retiring anytime soon i think he has like three years left on his deal but i don't think
Dave is in this for like for eternity right I don't see Dave wanting to manage until he's 65 okay the man's
like 52 or 51 or 52 right now so I think like 55 56 57 maybe I mean I don't know but whatever
that's my opinion I see JT taking over some sort of managerial certainly a coaching role in the
Dodgers system he's got to retire first yeah but I just don't think he's retiring soon and we don't
need Justin Turner right now at this moment I think we need a Miguel
Rojas more than we need Justin Turner at the moment. Okay, again, back to Emishian.
Talking about 2006, what do we need? So Miguel is my third guy. He said he's going to retire.
Now he's not going to retire. He wants to retire a Dodger, wants an opportunity at the three Pete.
I think Kikei wants to retire as a Dodger that says a lot about this team. Kenley probably would
like to retire. Kenley has said he wants to retire as a Dodger. And I would imagine Justin does too.
But I think right now, Miguel makes more sense than JT because I do think JT is going to want to play at least one more year,
probably in the same type of role that he had with the Cubs.
So there's our list.
We want to know, sound off in the comments.
How upset are you guys about our very Homer-centered list that was completely unintentional, by the way?
All right, but look at this list.
Who do you want on here that's not homerish?
I don't want Tyler Anderson back.
Walker doesn't make sense for a variety of reasons.
Mike Yistremski, no. Randall Gritchick, no.
Yawan Moncata, absolutely not.
Tommy fam, I don't want to get choked.
Luis Renfifo, you already made your point.
So, like, if you're breaking it down to these 12 out of the 190,000 that you had on the other list, like, okay.
Like, that's scary.
That gives me, Ajeda.
This list gives me audita.
You should have saw it with the one more name.
It looked off.
So rest in peace, Kirby Yates.
But again, guys, let us know who from that massive,
list, again, of the lower-tiered free agents, you would be open to the Dodger signing,
assuming that they would be probably cheaper deals. But the good thing is, we know,
Riz, they are operating at the upper echelon of the market. We heard the rumor was they were in
on Ricell Iglesias. They are probably in. They are definitely kicking the tires on Devin Williams,
finding some sort of deal there. Robert Swares, if we're looking in the reliever market,
probably Cody Bellinger in there. You know they're at least going to exchange some sort of figures
with Kyle Tucker.
They're looking at those dudes.
They're not looking at Cedric Mullins.
They're not looking at.
You think they would go big on Edwin Diaz?
I think Edwin Diaz is the headliner of the closer market.
Yeah.
I don't know that they need like somebody who is going to be.
No, you are the closer 100%.
They need somebody who, yeah, I'll pick up some saves here.
I don't know, man.
I want Tommy Trumpet or whatever that dude's name is to come out and play that at Dodger.
That is the coolest freaking walkout.
Let that die.
Let that thing die.
I don't want that.
I think it's awesome.
You're so, like, wah, wah.
All right, all right.
We have a little bit more to do here on Dodgers territory,
and I promise, I do think, I am thankful for Clint's even though I don't act like it.
First, a word from our friends at Fowl.
We'll be right back.
Crats, we picked you to talk about Miundis, not just because they're ridiculously comfortable,
but also because they're very festive.
When the holiday season hits, you go on the website,

They just scream Eric Kratz getting little matching sets with everybody that he knows.

of The Fault and Our Stars, and now I guess also is the co-host of the Away End, a brand new world soccer
podcast. I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist, and John and I have known each other since we
were kids. My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old. I watched every game and I fell in love.
On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
For us, soccer, football, is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team.
Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, it's hope.
its heartbreak, and above all, it's beauty.
Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.
Listen to the away end with Daniel Auer Kohn and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
All right guys, time now for last slicks.
I always appreciate you guys letting me talk about my foundation.
And my dog right now, Bentley, who's a rescue, is barking her head off.
So it's perfect.
I apologize.
Someone rang our doorbell.
So this is for Hank.
So Hank is a pup that was highly, highly, highly failed by a lot of different humans.
But good news is he's on his way to a forever home.
Gidre's Guardian has helped him with his training.
He needed a lot of training.
We took care of that.
And now we found an adopter for him that happens to be in Canada.
So we're trying to get him from California to Canada.
I wanted to give a big shout out to Genevieve Chu, who is a Dodgers territory listener,
who donated $25 to help us out.
We appreciate that very much, Genevieve. Thank you. So we are $145 short. Okay, we're trying to raise $1,000 to help cover the transport.
Someone is physically driving him from California, Southern California, to Canada, to Edmonton. So we're $145 short.
If 15 people, 15 people, that's it, that listen to Dodgers Territory, donate $10 to giddreysgarden.org.
There's a variety of ways that you can donate securely, all of it's a tax write off.
If 15 people donate 10 bucks, it covers the transport, okay?
So we appreciate that very much.
Let's get Hank to his forever home.
So appreciate you guys letting me talk about that.
All right.
So baseball thought for the road.
Now, do you have a show tonight, friend?
Not tonight.
I will be live again on Saturday.
So tube in.
I'm bringing it back.
It's been a while.
This one's specifically for Richie.
We're bringing back all Dodgers after dark in the morning
on Saturday morning.
Leave people, if you know the channel,
leave your voicemails.
Hopefully they're positive.
The Dodgers won a World Series.
You shouldn't have anything to complain about.
But it's just going to be me hanging up with the chat.
We'll hopefully have a good time and hopefully have some news.
But that'll be Saturday morning.
Should be at 11 a.m. Pacific time right here,
all Dodgers, on the YouTube machine.
And feel free to leave Clinton a voicemail about all of your Thanksgiving horror stories, right?
Like what the stuff was that you don't like to eat.
you know, Uncle Billy that's talking about what happened during his colonoscopy, like all the different things that you just don't want to talk about. Leave that for Clint.
Thank you.
Leave that. Yeah, I want everybody's political takes. I want everybody's thoughts.
That's the perfect time to talk about it. Yes. Thoughts on the bacon.
What side of the aisle are you on? Talk about it over stuffing. Um, okay, so here's the deal. So how early Clint would you for actual Black Friday shopping? Like, I can't stand to shop. I hate shopping no matter what time of year it is.
no matter what it is, I would rather have my toenails ripped out than go to a mall.
Okay?
I just can't.
Okay?
So how early would you get up or how long would you let camp out and what would the item need to be in order for you to deal with the Black Friday early morning crowd?
I honestly, I can't say that now as a man, I'm 40, as an old as man, I'm four.
I can't picture one GD thing that would make me get up and go wait amongst like flesh pods in the real world, in the cold.
Like, even so, even the great deals, like back in the day.
You live in L.A. Calm down. I'm in Massachusetts.
Listen, listen. It used to be cold to you. I guess it never really was. You're also a Colorado girl.
So this was always very mild for you even. Hey, you know, over the last weekend, I camped it got down into the 20s.
Wasn't that bad.
It actually wasn't too bad.
But anyways, back to the point here of our non-baseball, just general thought for the road.
I don't know.
I mean, a car?
Can I get a car for free?
Can it guarantee that you win a car for free or super cheap?
Something like that?
I don't know.
Golf clubs.
Something like it needs to be guaranteed, not like door buster where it's the first five people that win it.
And then you get trampled or whatever.
Look, I got all of it right here on my phone.
All of my Black Friday.
Yeah, yeah, all my Black Friday.
There's nothing in the world.
All right, let me ask you this then before we sign off.
And guys, put it in the chat to what you would actually get up.
We need to know yours, too.
Oh, don't worry.
I'm going to tell you.
Okay.
What if it's an experience or what if it's somebody you could meet?
Guaranteed to meet and the person would actually be interested in meeting you back.
I mean, I don't know.
I don't, like I don't get really excited about meeting people or whatever.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm very bland when that comes to that kind of stuff.
Like for a lot of other people, you know, we did a, you know, that two-on-one sit-down,
exclusive interview with Dave Roberts.
That should be somebody where I'm like, hell yeah, this is a dude that I very much admire and appreciate it.
He was always, I mean, I was nice to him.
Like, I was just talking to him like a human.
I wasn't like, oh, my God.
Okay.
I wouldn't expect you to be like fanboying over him.
But you still, I didn't ask him, oh, can you sign this for me or anything dumb like that?
You know, I don't know.
I don't care about people who are famous or whatever.
I don't know.
Can I meet like a living a month 15 years ago?
Oh, sure.
Yeah, listen, it's your.
I'm going to go to hell when I die.
Anyways.
I mean, I'm pretty sure you could guess mine.
If I was guaranteed to meet somebody, like, and he actually, he actually, he actually,
What are you talking to Morgan Wallen about?
I'm talking to him about all of the baseball references in his music.
Like, he's a massive baseball fan, right?
So he, oh, yeah, massive baseball fan.
He actually blew out his arm, and that's kind of how he got more into music.
So he wrote a song called 98 Braves.
Stalker?
No.
Listen, what do you mean stalker?
Like, he's the number one country music artist in the world.
stocker. All right. So 98 Braves listen to it about when the Braves lost to the Padres.
And he also has a lot of other baseball lyrics in his music talking about he stole,
like she stole his heart without a sign. I mean, come on. So yeah, Morgan Wallen would be,
it would be my guy. I mean, but Avi, right? So here's a funny story before we say goodbye.
About four spring, no, more than that now, because I've been gone for four years.
years about six spring trainings ago.
Dave Vasay and I would do Dodger Talk together and we would do the Rizzo report.
We were at spring training at Canelbeck Ranch and we're sitting on what probably was
Mani Mota's golf cart or Tommy LaSorda's golf cart when Tommy got rest of the school.
We're still alive, right?
So we're sitting there doing, we're recording Rizzo report.
And on the radio, there's obviously a lot of sponsorships and stuff too.
So it's like, welcome back to AM 570, Dodger Talk.
I'm David Vassay.
I'm with Alana Rizzo.
It's time now for the Rizzo report.
Tolana, this is sponsored by blah, blah, blah.
And Navy and Tegeless water heater.
Well, we didn't even know who it was.
He's like Morgan Wallen, Morgan, and I didn't know at the time who Morgan Wallen was.
And I looked back at that now and I was like, oh, my God.
In the million years, what I've gone from Morgan Wallen to now being his number one stock?
Weird.
Well, wasn't that, that was your John Party era, though.
I loved, I still loved Erdog.
Yeah, but that was like here.
Yeah, yeah, that was like every.
I was obsessed with John Party like I was with Morgan Wall.
I was obsessed with the song.
Dude.
the song daily you posted that song
on your Instagram
when I was packing for road trips
shut up you don't know my life
sorry I'm just I'm just being
I'm being a fan girl here you know
just trying to have a moment here with our
everybody's favorite Dodger sweetheart
Alana Rizzo not so sweet
no
I'm sweet not maybe not to you
oh wait the final thing what was your black
what would you like your Black Friday line
so that's it
Morgan Wallen? So Morgan Wallet means
You can't buy him.
I need products.
No, no, no.
I just asked you if what if it was a person?
Okay, okay.
You said it had to be a bona fide guarantee.
I said, what if it was a person that you can meet?
That was a bona fide guarantee that you were going to meet them, and they would equally
want to meet you.
So Morgan Wallen's mine.
You said Olivia Munn.
This is fair.
Definitely.
It's a weird thing to say.
It's a weird thing I said.
I apologize to everybody.
She's a lovely lady.
You should apologize to Mrs. FRG, so you should apologize.
Although my husband would have said immediately.
slowly Sloan from entourage.
That would have been his like guarantee.
Like without even hesitation.
Like if he could, what's her name like Emmanuel Chirique or whatever?
Gorgeous.
Like a stunner.
Oh, please.
You know who's Sloan from entourage is.
I don't watch TV.
To borrow from.
No, I have not.
To borrow from I think it's a Saturday Night Live bit.
It's like I don't know movies.
Anyways.
