Dodgers won a baseball game.
They have a two zero advantage over the Phillies in the NLDS.
And Blake Trinner was a choice in the ninth inning.
I tell you what, this was about to be a very, very different Dodgers territory postgame.
What is up everybody?
Great to have you with us.
Alana Rizzo, Clint Pesias, Dodgers territory presented by Fox One.
We will get into that momentarily.
Great to have you guys with us.
Holy mother of pearl.
That was stressful.
Yeah.
You heard on the broadcast, Clint, Brian Anderson, the play-by-play guy for TBS said that Tommy Edmund owes Freddie Freeman the fattest egg dinner that he has ever had in my goodness.
Tommy Edmund spiking that baseball on the way to first base, Freddie Freeman.
Probably should do some more yoga.
I'll be to stretch out a little bit more.
Holy crap.
Bigger picture, Clint, is the Dodgers are up.
2-0 and now they get to go home.
A win is a win, baby. That's all we care about, ladies and gentlemen.
Appreciate you guys hanging out with us in the chat here on a game two edition of Dodgers
territory. Subscribe to the show, like the show because the Dodgers won a baseball game.
They have a two-zero advantage over the Phillies in the NLDS.
And Blake Triner was a choice in the ninth inning.
Listen, BT has been good.
He's been better.
But he has been better with other people's traffic.
can't let him start fresh innings anymore this postseason.
Hopefully, Dave hears me.
David, please do not use Blake Trinan in clean innings anymore.
I saw somebody saying they need new clean underwear in the chat after that.
Oh, my goodness.
Yes.
And somebody also said in our chat, guys, get your comments in the chat.
We love to see it.
Nameless said, send Blake Trinin to the moon.
I'm not necessarily ready to send them to the moon.
But yeah, that was scary.
It was scary.
But you know what?
I also look at it from a glass half full, if you will.
Here's my glass half full, if you will.
Cheers, everybody out there, game two victory.
Got your bullpen juice there.
Yeah, exactly.
Roki Sasaki came in the game with a little bit of traffic,
and it was a teaching moment, right?
Like, it's good to be in these situations
because Roki's not always going to have a clean inning.
So that was good.
Let's go back to the beginning, right?
Let's talk about the great pitching matchup that was.
And Hes-Husuzardo, wow, really, really good.
And Blake Snell, wow, really, really good.
This was a beautifully pitched game in the beginning of this game.
And then you're like, okay, it's going to come down to the bullpen,
which we know Clint has been our bugaboo.
But Blake Snell looked awesome.
Yeah, I mean, every bit of this, the first, what, six innings of this game
was a good old-fashioned pitchers duel.
And then it turned in what we've sort of seen,
what's sort of been the Dodgers kind of calling card this postseason.
Late game offense, put up four runs in that seventh.
inning, but Luzardo was amazing over those first six innings.
It was really good.
Yeah, retired 17 in a row at one point, dancing around that first inning threat.
I still don't know how Nick Cassiano made that play off of the Freddie Freeman near double
or maybe even could have been a triple.
But then a lot happened quickly for Luzardo because the Hernandez boys were ready.
You got Tea leading off the inning, the seventh inning with a single.
Freddie followed with a gritty double.
and then Jesus left the building,
and then all of a sudden, all of a sudden,
Kike was up with Ducks in the Pond, what we call that?
Then Kiki happened.
Yes, hey, look at Clipasius.
Use my tweet.
You never use my tweets.
Hernandez, bros, added again.
And I know that there are folks, and I understand why, I get it.
I know there are folks that are on tail for sometimes lack of hustle,
running out of the box, lack of hustle,
or perceived lack of hustle in the outfield.
Interesting routes run in the outfield.
But I tell you what, he is atoned for himself in both of the games, right?
In game one, obviously, with the home run.
And then in game two, obviously scoring on the Kiki Hernandez at bat.
So I get it.
Like you want him to be more of a complete player and at least optically make it look like he cares when he's on defense a little bit more.
But he's come through when he's needed to come through.
And the postseason is a different animal for both of the Hernandez.
is I had that conversation today on ESPN with Mason and Ireland about how those two just October,
there's just something about it.
Maybe they get bored in the regular season.
I don't know, but they're certainly not bored.
They're not boring in the postseason.
Absolutely not.
And then following that one up, we'll talk more about Will Smith and his playing time a little bit later on in the show.
But I think it was our friend Stephen Nelson with the call.
Will Smith clutched up, two-run single there off of, was it strong?
whoever came in after, and then Shohay capped it off with the RBI single there.
I love this from Sarah Lang's.
I'm calling this one points because Dodgers have scored at least four runs in 13 consecutive postseason games.
Hasn't been done in quite some time.
Over 50 years since that team has.
Man, I wasn't even born then.
That's very exciting.
It's very exciting.
That's very exciting.
So, yeah, pitching was exceptional.
The offense, you know, you'd like the offense to put up,
I mean, put some points on the board a little bit more often.
But if it took four to win, I like winning more than I like losing.
I love that this game only went nine innings because I was not ready for extra
innings.
No, I honestly, like I came over to my office here and I was like, all right, whatever.
Filly's get on the board.
You're fine.
It's one.
And then I sat down and I'm like, what the hell?
How did, why is it four to three already?
Like, what is happening?
So I'm glad it worked out.
but that was a little bit too uncomfortable.
But let's think about this for just a hot second, Clint Paceas.
Had the Dodgers lost this game, we would have been pissed, correct?
Because the Dodgers had no reason to lose this game.
But even if they had lost it, which obviously you'll take the two-oh advantage in the NLDS going back to Chavez Ravine.
But even had they lost it, to go into Citizens Bank Park and at least take one, if you split on the road, you're feeling pretty great.
Yeah, we would have been pissed that they lost this game.
But I tell you what, one one on the road is not too shabby, but it's two nothing going home.
There's no way the Dodgers don't advance at this point.
No chance.
No chance they lose three in a row.
No chance.
Obviously, stranger things have happened.
But I feel pretty effing good about the Dodgers advancing to the NLCS to play the winners of the Cubs and Brewers, which is starting right now.
People in the chat, obviously, their hearts are still beating out of their chest a little bit for that inning.
Nicole Taylor sent in the 199 super chat earlier.
says no more Trinan as a closer.
My heart can't take it.
Technically, this was his first save opportunity of the postseason did not look good in that one.
Richard Flores with the 499 says Mrs. Ritchie found underwear on sale at Walmart.
Also, need to put a clean pair, but a shower is in order first.
Also, the DeVore Man Cave is available in October.
Yes, we get it.
We get it.
Cole is not a fan of the three batter rule because he thinks that, you know, it could suck.
Trinins, you know what.
ADK does not want to see Trinian's.
it until the parade, which I've liked Blake so far this postseason.
I just think he needs to come in when there's other people's traffic.
Have him enter bases loaded two out.
I feel more confident than that than him entering a clean inning for himself.
I just, I think there's something, I mean, it's Philly's obviously there.
They're trying to get some points on the board themselves.
They're trying to score some runs.
They're trying to tie that game.
They did their part.
But I just think there might be a little bit of, I don't know,
some sort of thing in his brain right now that's making him struggle in that scenario.
I don't know.
I haven't talked to Blake Trinnan since we had him on earlier in the year.
Ultimately, the Dodgers got the job done.
Shout out, by the way, Alex Vescia, came in, did a hell of a job.
Max Muncie, my king, doing a hell of a job, making a hell of a hell of a stop.
Listen, both of our third baseman today got absolutely pile-drived at third when
Mickey Rowe trying to, you know, get, get Tray Turner out at third and by the chin chin.
And yes, I know that you said that Max would have probably thrown it to third, to first, to get the out, whatever.
More so.
More so.
Mickey knows that he's like 300 years old compared to Trey Turner speed.
It's 30-7.
Listen, listen.
In baseball years, he's 300 years old.
Listen, he's a gamer.
I don't care.
He's a gamer.
I love the dude.
But that was just.
just a questionable play and he has the arm strength to make that play at at first base to make
that throw at first base. Hopefully there's nothing too banged up on Mughey Rowe because he has
been very, very good in this postseason. He's fine. He seemed a little, a little shaken up in that one.
But regardless, Max Muncie, you know, cuts off that bunt, throws to Mookie bets. Mookie was running
all over the infield, by the way, in that night. That was a heads of play by Mookie.
getting over to third.
Hell of a play from Freddie as well.
Those boys did not want to go to the 10th inning.
You do not want to go to extra innings in this situation
because I think Phillies are favorites
if they're going into extra inings.
We've got a lot of super chats coming in, general chats,
everybody hanging out with us.
We still got to talk about Blake Snell and all that.
Why don't we do this?
Let's take a break for a second.
We do want to talk about something near and dear to her heart.
So I'm going to do this first.
with all of the stuff, I'm digging it.
Yeah, so let's talk about this.
Fox One, welcome to our show, our presenting partner here on Dodgers territory.
All of the playoff coverage that we have, you guys now from here on out, is brought to you by Fox One.
Fox One is now live streaming all of your Fox favorites together in place, including all AOL playoff games and the World Series.
Yeah, and while the Dodgers and the Phillies, they're traveling tomorrow, obviously.
It's a day off for us.
Baseball fans can still watch the end.
ALDS on Fox 1.
See who takes advantage in that series with the Tigers and the Mariners.
It's tied up 1-1.
They play in the afternoon.
The evening, the Yankees are trying to keep their season alive against the Toronto
Blue Jays who have absolutely just handed them their behind so far this postseason.
Getting ahead of ourselves, you also can watch your Dodgers in the World Series on Fox 1.
So why you tell the people how they can do it?
Yeah, I mean, if you're not home, we want to watch the Dodgers in the World Series.

Appreciate Fox 1 for being a presenting partner of Dodgers territory this postseason.
I appreciate Blake Snell being a Los Angeles Dodger this postseason.
Alonda.
has been so damn good.
Another good start here, six innings, one hit, no earn, nine punch, four walks.
Funny enough, I say a good start, far from his best start, but he still held these Phillies
down.
What'd you like about Snowzilla?
I mean, it's amazing that we're saying it's not his best start.
I mean, you would take that nine out of nine times, right?
Ten out of ten times.
I mean, this is just an unbelievable start in terms of today's baseball game.
I mean, six innings, no earned runs.
I'm in, you know?
What I liked is that, again, I love the fact that.
he's healthy for this postseason.
I mean, he was on the shelf for so long
that there's no issue of arm fatigue
or being, you know, tired or anything.
I mean, this is a perfect situation.
They were able to maintain throughout the postseason.
They won the division.
That's the first check that they needed.
And he's healthy and it's great.
And the fact that you can count on him,
all I said when we started the postseason,
remember starters going six.
I said if the starters can go six every game,
they're going to be just fine.
And that, I mean, for the first two games of the series of the NLDS, that's what's happened.
I mean, Shohei, obviously, and of course, Blake Snell tonight.
So I love it.
I mean, how could you not love what he was able to do?
I mean, he shoved.
And as you mentioned, didn't have the best stuff, but he still was able to be unbelievably
effective.
And that, to me, is the sign of an ace.
When your ace doesn't have the greatest stuff, but still is competitive and still is, you know, keeps
you in the game.
And he did more than keep us in the game.
Yeah, I mean, to hold down Phillies hitters, that was impressive.
And also just seeing where he's at, I put this up also from Sarah Lang's.
Scoreless start, six plus innings with one or zero hits allowed.
Dodgers postseason history tied what Walker Bueller did.
Back in 2019, NLDS game one, of course, game you were at, you covered.
I don't want to talk any more about that particular series, that 2019 NLD.
But pay the man.
How about this?
First two starts in the playoffs for Blake Snell, 13 innings, 18 puns.
I mean, they did pay the man.
Let's be honest, they did pay him.
They paid him on the front end.
So he's paying them back.
He's rewarding them for the big ass bag that they gave Blake Snell.
And he's earned every cent of it.
I mean, good for him.
You know what I mean?
You know what else has been very interesting, too, is when you look at the Phillies lineup,
which I think is a very good lineup, they truly have neutralized the Philadelphia Phillies.
You know, obviously I understand the Phillies starting all left-handed starters,
at least in game, the first two games, because, you know, whatever, we get it.
We have some pretty impressive lefties as well.
But Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwerber have not done much.
I mean, J.T. Realmuto had a triple.
I think it was like second triple he's had all year.
I know that they've, you know, the Phillies had something cooking offensively in this, you know,
the late innings of this game and obviously early in game one.
But the big guns for the Phil's have not done a ton.
So I think the Dodgers pitching staff in general, particularly their starters,
has done a good job of neutralizing the biggest threats in the Phillies lineup.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, you know, Vessia getting some of his guys there.
I want to talk about Emmett Sheen as well.
He got through particularly a second inning of work in that eighth inning.
You know, gets a runner on second, I think, was a situation.
No, it was running on third, but the paw has misplay in right field.
And by the way, can we have like a right fielder that can play a clean nine innings?
this postseason i would love to see that but uh you know the tray turner rbi single then he he
k's kyle schwarber the pop fly out from harper to end it uh i said for shean i like the stones
massive stones yeah i i agree with you and normally i'm not talking about guys stones but i
agree with you on this i i he showed me something today right i mean he showed me something that
like he just looked unfazed it almost was like wow this guy just like took it to another level like
he just he's kind of grown up you know like he went
from like the kids table of Thanksgiving to sit in with the adults.
And that was cool to see.
I saw somebody mentioning,
mentioned earlier in the chat,
like why not just let him go the final three innings?
Well,
I mean,
you want to keep them available later on in the series.
I'm sure if Dave had another crack at that scenario,
maybe he does let him,
you know,
go for the three out save and that's this game.
But they didn't,
thankfully,
didn't prove to be,
didn't prove to lose the Dodgers game.
It just gave us a little bit more heartache.
Eddie Romero earlier in the chat
$1.99 super chat.
Blake can't be trusted in high leverage anymore.
Yeah, that's right.
We're back to the Blake Trinan.
Part of the show, by the way.
Pat Dwyer.
Trinand's three hits were out of the zone
and on the black.
Yeah, I mean,
he wasn't exactly just throwing up meatballs.
But still, we've seen this a lot
where he's getting dinked and doinked a lot.
And then we are all the ones that have to pay
when it comes to Trininin' struggling there.
Francisco, bringing up
Kenley Jansen
flashbacks from that outing
and I know Alana's going to love to hear that
because you know
there's yeah
in his
he did
but Kenley I feel like Kenley always had traffic
I mean that was just something for
for Kenley that let's not forget
where Kenley is on the all time save list
okay like let's like put a little bit of respect
on Kenley Janssen's name I know that he gave us
heart attacks and I get it
and I shouldn't say I shouldn't say that
because Kenley has a heart issue and that's kind of mean
I did not mean that.
Like,
please understand I didn't mean that.
And Kenley knows that.
I adore Kenley.
But, yeah, I mean, it was never clean.
It didn't feel clean, right?
There was always like, oh, gosh, you know,
like you're always like a little stressed out.
But Kenley got more saves than he didn't.
And he was huge for this Dodgers team over the course of his career.
You know, yeah, there's very few Mariano Rivera's.
And I guess in today's game, not comparing the two,
but like the Mason Miller's of the world, okay?
But also the Padres are bounced.
So there's that.
Hey, and for what it's worth, Mo lost a few games in his career in the postseason as well.
In the World Series.
So to the Diamondbacks.
We still remember.
And also, that was a pretty weakly hit.
You don't have that drawn in infield?
That's right to the shortstop there.
But we don't, this is not a diet.
This is not Snake's territory.
We're not talking about the 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks.
Carrie, Carrey, Jackson, however, we're saying it brings up a good point.
I saw a few other people asking this, $2 super chat.
Why not bring in Sasaki or Sasaki?
at the jump.
I mean, trying to work, get some work.
I also don't think you want to overexpose Roki.
And I'm okay not overexposing Roki.
That's a better point.
Try to protect him a little bit there.
Ultimately he has to come back in, you know, come in and work.
It's the job done there.
Tommy Edmund, you already said it at the top, making Freddie work a little bit there to secure that final out.
But the Dodgers do it.
I'm going to put this back up on the screen so we all feel good about ourselves.
Because I had the one prepared that said Dodgers lose a heartbreaker.
But no.
Yeah.
Well, you know, I think it's, I think it's Gaddi, Ordonez.
Gaddy, Gaddi, Gaddi, Gaddi.
I'm going to go with Gaddi.
I'm just going to go with Ordonez.
What's up?
Super Chat, 199.
Dean is the worst defensive sub I've seen.
I don't know about the worst, but sometimes I do question what the hell we're doing.
Like, is the man on this roster as a defensive?
I mean, your only job is to catch balls in the outfield.
What are we doing?
He's looked a little shaky out there.
I do think Justin Dean might be a little in over his head here.
I don't think anybody expected him to be playing Major League Baseball games for the Dodgers this season,
let alone, you know, playing defense for the Dodgers in the postseason.
I got nothing much to say about it.
You got nothing either.
I really don't.
It's like I would rather not.
see him in there.
Or I would rather see him just play a little bit cleaner defense or at least look a little
bit better.
But he was, he didn't cost the Dodgers anything in my opinion in this one.
No, he didn't.
Game one of the wild card.
I don't know.
I just again, we can't have, you know, Hall of Famers at every position.
I understand.
Why not?
That's, that's, I know, that's the expectation.
But it's, it's clearly unrealistic.
Before we look ahead to game three, obviously, I need a new,
heart. Oh, Noah, you're fine. Before we look ahead to game three, the Dodgers remember are off tomorrow.
They will use it as a travel day if they're not traveling tonight. My guess is they're getting out of
town now and then heading home or you're heading home tonight and then they'll have the day off at home.
Before we get to that, let's take a moment for a quick word from our friends at Draft Kings.

with a two to nothing advantage. And by the way, Yamamoto is on the hill. Like, this is just an
embarrassment of riches that I love. Yeah, Yama Bumpte does make you feel pretty good. He has pitched
very well at Dodger Stadium. Three, I think it was 3.04.
ERA in 18 starts or something at Dodger Stadium this year, maybe 11 starts.
But he is the ace.
He's the other guy you paid a lot of money to take down big games.
And he's going up against, you know, Dodgers ace, arguably their ace is going up against
the Phillies number three starter.
Very good number three starter as well in Ranger Suarez.
But, you know, thinking about the matchup.
Yeah, another lefty.
So does that mean, I guess we should now expect Will to be in the starting lineup?
I think Dave kind of alluded to that before the game.
That's a really good point.
Can we discuss a little further about what you know or what you're hearing in terms of why Will Smith is not healthy enough to start the game, but he's okay to come in in the fifth inning and catch the remainder of the game?
What am I missing?
I'm not trying to be sarcastic.
It doesn't make sense to me, but what am I missing?
Yeah, I honestly don't know.
I understand they're saying that he missed an amount of time with that injury, didn't play a whole lot.
in the month of September, but it's the postseason. Will pretty much said, like, no, I'm ready
to catch nine innings now. He seemed somewhat befuddled at the idea that he wasn't starting
these games. I wonder if there is a little bit of, you know, writing the hot hand or the sexy hand
with Ben Roortvet, who hasn't done much in the series because he hasn't necessarily been given a chance,
but if you have Will Smith available to play five innings for you, I think you have Will Smith
available to play nine innings for you.
And the last time I checked, he is a two-time World Series champion,
a two-time All-Star, and was pretty close to winning himself a batting title this year.
He's a very good hitter.
He makes this lineup better, you know, voodoo magic of RootVitt aside.
And he had a nice hit tonight coming off the bench, which Will Smith.
I mean, it's just so, again, it's strange that you have the luxury of carrying three catchers
if you wanted to.
But anyway, whatever.
One of the other things that Dave also said before the game that they did, Will did feel some soreness in his hand, his throwing hand coming out of game one.
So that probably was the deciding factor to have him not start today.
Ultimately, you know what?
Ultimately, you know, yeah.
So you have Freddie Freeman that had, what, a broken rib and an ankle that was all jacked up last year.
And you had show hey that, you know, listen, you.
These guys are injured at this point, you know?
Everybody's hurt.
Everybody's hurt.
So throw some dirt on it.
Will, we need you.
We need you in there.
If you can catch starting in the fifth inning and you can swing a bat.
No, I just had to get in the club.
Then you can start the game.
We need his offense.
Period.
Yeah.
I also apologize to I be stroking in the chat because I did say Roart Vet and I didn't say
little Ben Roe-Vet.
So I apologize.
You got to sing the name now.
And a shout out.
We'll talk more about it.
I'm going to do post-post game on my All-Dodgers channel coming up after we're done here.
We'll talk more about it.
But my co-host, Jeff Snyder and I had Stephen Nelson on a couple days ago.
And we played him the clip of the day the Dodgers traded for Ben WirtVett,
where I was like, who is this man?
I didn't even bother to try to learn how to say his name.
I remember.
We got Stephen Nelson to drop my pronunciation.
into the radio broadcast today.
So shout out Nellie for being a dog for us
and saying, what is it?
Ron Rorvitell.
Ron Rorvitalt.
Stephen Nelson said that on radio.
And he's probably going to lose his job now because of me.
Wow.
That's big.
That's pretty funny.
Final thing I wanted to talk about before we go,
is another guy who was in the lineup
and we were talking to our producer,
Mark before the show, actually during the game, about Max Muncie not being in the lineup.
Same idea with Will Smith.
Max has been bad against lefties, but also it's Max Muncie's.
It's Max Muncie.
He's got that postseason dog in him.
I love McGee Row being in this lineup.
One guy I'm a little suss on is Tommy Edmund.
He is playing with an injured ankle.
He can't play in the outfield.
He's also hitting only 216 versus lefties this year, OPS under 700.
I ask you, given his condition, should Tommy Edmund even be playing right now?
I don't know.
I mean, is Max Muncie completely healthy?
They say?
They claim?
You can only trust the Dodgers injury report as far as you could throw it sometimes.
I don't know.
I mean, I don't know.
I have no answer to that because I don't know why you would put in Edmund over Muncie
unless Muntsey is not 100%.
and not even 100%
if Muncie's not able to start.
I don't know.
I don't know why you do that.
All I know is that that throw to first
to end the game gave me massive audita.
Yeah, if that gets by, I might, I might have actively lost my shit on that one.
That's just gold glove, former gold glove winner at second base.
You can't make that play that bad.
Thank God.
Thank God for Freddie Freeman.
I'll tell you that.
So by the way, Aaron Nola, I guess, is starting.
game three. It's not Ranger Suarez.
Oh, they changed it up on us?
They did.
A little switcheroo.
It's the right-hander going
against the Dodgers.
Maybe they're like, well, these two lefties, that didn't work.
So let's just throw Aaron Nola in there.
And again, Aaron Nola has not been the Aaron Nola
of old. He has struggled.
I guess Suarez will pitch behind Nola.
So we'll see.
Ranger will back him up for game four if there is one.
So there's not going to be one.
For what it's worth.
Dodgers closed this.
What's today, Monday?
Dodgers closes that on Wednesday.
What it's worth.
I mean, outside of, I guess, last year, in the past,
Naranola's had his moments of being a postseason dog.
So I still like the Dodgers' chances in this one, 100%.
They close this out.
They sweep.
At this point, they sweep.
Yeah.
I feel pretty gone.
If not, Tyler Glass now gets the ball in game four in L.A.
And we feel pretty good about Glass.
I don't like, we haven't talked about it.
And by the way, shout out Tim Nevers for.
filling in for me while I was gone this weekend.
I don't know how I feel about Blake's or about, yeah, about Blake Snell, not Blake's
the other guy, Tyler Glass now getting, you know, like the Phillies getting some exposure to him
in game one when they know he's in a pitch game four.
I'm just like, eh, you know, being nitpicky.
But there's so much out there now, like it doesn't matter.
Everybody knows what everybody else is doing.
It's a matter of just who can execute.
You don't think they know.
I mean, Tyler Glassnow has been around long enough that even if he didn't pitch,
out of the bullpen in game one, that they know what he has.
They've seen enough video.
They have the iPads.
They all talk to each other.
You know, Bueller told him everything, I'm sure.
You know what I mean?
And that's okay.
And Bueller has the right to do so.
I'm not suggesting he doesn't.
But regardless of glass coming out of the pen or not,
they know exactly what he has.
So I'm not worried about that.
That's just me.
It's not even going to get to game for.
It doesn't matter.
You're feeling real confident about a sweep, huh?
I am.
I mean there's no reason that Dodgers can't sweep now.
Phillies are, the backs are against the wall.
They know they've got to win the next three.
Yeah, you feel a lot better with Yama versus Nola as well.
I mean, one guy is the, if Paul Skeen didn't exist, that's your 2025 NL.
Say Young Award winner in Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
We got more super chats.
We'll rattle off these super chats and then we will wrap up our show here,
no more oral sacks with the $5 super chat.
I don't push buttons on this show.
It says, what up?
April F-R-G, Dave needs to name Roki as our closer, no more games.
Okay, but what is that for why?
Hang on a second.
Like, what difference does it make?
Whether he's named closure or not known the closer.
Like, it doesn't matter.
He's going to, he is the closer.
He's going to come out in the night when, you know, he is the, he don't, why, why do you need the label?
This is how I feel about marriage.
Exactly.
But yeah.
What, do they, you need to have the sword, like I knight thee the closer?
I think Dave manages much better when he doesn't have a closer.
He also manages a lot better when Blake Trinand gets out, but that's not how this postseason has gone.
Grayson, by the way, defending Blake Trinan with the 199 Superchat, Call Me Crazy, Trinan actually made good pitches.
He hasn't been bad.
The movement is still nasty, but when it finds grass, you know, that was it the Castellanos hit, whoever it was,
who just kind of threw the bad head at it and it found grass.
Yeah, that was not ideal.
Cole defending Dave's is getting very tired of the.
Dave Roberts hate, stop it.
Same. Me too. I'm tired of it, too.
Let me ask you one more thing about Yamamoto because I just thought of this.
Yama's better on the road, is he not?
Yama is better on the road, yes.
But he's also very good at home.
He had a 3.04 year and home.
That's an interesting thing, too.
But I still think of these sleep.
But anyway, I digress.
Yeah, the Dave Roberts hate is just going to come from guys not getting their job done.
That's about it.
That's not on Dave.
That's absolutely not on Dave.
Paul Vaughan, where is Tanner Scott?
Hopefully, enjoying front row seats.
Hopefully he's at Vaughn's, Paul.
Hopefully he's at Vaughn's.
Oh, wow.
I love how you get offended at these things.
Guys, smash that thumbs up.
It's not the sound.
It's that my co-host is pushing the sound.
Jerk.
No, it was that dickhead director of yours.
Right, same.
Same dude.
Same dude.
Hold on, wait.
Final one.
Brian,
Brian had this for five bucks.
Which restaurant does Tommy Edmund take Freddy to dinner?
Where do you go?
Oh my God.
I have a list of them in Manhattan Beach that actually, you know what?
Don't even do Manhattan.
Go to Javier's.
Tommy Edmund should take Freddie Freeman to Javier's.
Any of the locations, Newport, Century City, whatever it is.
It's fair.
Hobby, me too.
I'll go as well.
