Welcome to the Boys and Girls podcast.
Arranged Marriage is basically a reality show
and you're auditioning for your soulmate.
And who's judging?
Only your entire family?
I sacrificed myself to this ancient tradition,
hoping to find love the right way.
And instead, I found chaos, comedy and a lot of cringe.

I question it.
I was like, I haven't seen what, you know,
I need to see something from him because he was hurt when he came over.
And man, he showed me so much.
And he's just been tremendous.
Hello, everybody.
Let's go.
And welcome to a brand new.
live edition of Dodgers territory they're going to the world series.
Hey Clint you like what's going on.
Who, who are your peeps?
Hey, people party through we got a we got a watch party going on.
We got supporters of Dodgers territory supporters of all Dodgers, Dodgers fans.
I mean the man cave of one of our big supporters here.
These people are also nice enough to throw me a birthday party,
ish type thing, but this isn't about me.
This isn't about these people.
It's about the Dodgers, Alana.
How about this F and team?
Oh, my God.
I am so excited.
And welcome to your watch party.
Congratulations to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
I have to say, so great to be with you guys tonight.
Cheers to you, Clint.
Cheers to Dodgers Nation.
This has to be the most epic managerial job that Dave Roberts has done in his tenure with
the Los Angeles daughters.
kind of doing a recap. And by the way, everybody, thanks for being with us. We're so happy that
you're here. Like us, subscribe, rate us five stars. But I was thinking about this recap. And
the Mets have nothing to hang their heads about. Okay. The Mets are a very good baseball team.
And they were the best, one of the best teams in baseball the last couple of months. But think
about what the Dodgers accomplished. Huge pickups by Andrew Friedman at the deadline.
Kopeck. Tommy Edmund, obviously. Jack Flaherty all made a difference in terms of getting to
this World Series. Oh my God. We're going to the world. I just said we're going to the
Series. Good on them. I mean, you have, I mean, Tommy Edmund's been ridiculous. Teosker Hernandez,
the probably the best one year signing of any team out there. I mean, Kiki Hernandez is a postseason
beast. Shohei Otani was built for this. Max Muncie is an on base machine. The bullpen shoved.
Like, this was epic. And I said it, I said if you could get over the bugaboo that was the
first round, that division series, I wasn't worried about the championship.
series. They did it and they're going back to the world series for the first time since 2020.
This is this was a fun game. When I say fun, there's a lot of stress. There's a lot of like this
this uncomfortable feeling in your chest as you're watching, you know, Copac get the start. I was a
little, a little iffy on Copac there in the first inning. It doesn't matter. You fully believe in
everything that Dave Roberts did this postseason. We've said it time and time again. He's put on a
clinic as a manager up to it, including playing media. He fully played.
media in this in this post season so far hey we're not jobs not finished cobi said jobs not finished
dodger said jobs not finished we got four more wins we're going to party tonight going to celebrate
don't have they the boys don't have to work tomorrow that's important but dave has been um i've said
it on a couple of these shows it's it's it's the culmination of you know now into his ninth season so
many ups and downs a lot of downs in there a lot of people you know even now joking during this game one
hit the met's going to hit i'm like fire dave roberts just because i think it's it's just part of the fun part of the
joy of getting through this but you saw that sly look on dave's face two outs trying it on the bump
he knew it was coming he knew this was coming and arguably the most well-earned well-deserved
world series birth in his tenure this is this was an impressive game impressive series and like you said
really really good stuff to the meds they have a lot to hang their hat on nobody expected them to be here
after the fire sale of last trade deadline.
But you know what?
This is a Dodger show.
And let's get some Tommy Edmund love in the chat, by the way, guys.
Tommy tanks.
What a pickup.
I mean, this is a guy that is so versatile, plays all over the field,
plays all over the place.
And that's the thing.
I mean, let's freaking go Dodgers versus.
Yes, Jesse, wow.
That's good.
Jesse is paying for his birthday.
I've been waiting for this for a long time.
This team has overcome so much beat the JV New York team.
Oh, come on.
Now they're pretty good.
Now got to beat their varsity squad.
I have to say, thank you, Jesse, for being a part of Dodgers territory and for supporting us.
We appreciate you so much.
I mean, I have to say, though, Tommy Tanks, what he's been able to do has been so tremendous.
I mean, the kid, like I said, could play off of the, and I have to say, I question it.
I was like, I haven't seen what, you know, I need to see something from him because he was hurt when he came over.
He hadn't played for a very long time.
I was super psyched about Jack Flaherty.
I was super psyched about Michael Kopeck.
I wasn't sure what we were going to get from Tommy Edmund.
and man, he showed me so much.
And he's just been tremendous.
Droving the first four runs of the game for the Dodgers,
allowed the bullpen to breathe a little bit,
allowed them to be a little bit more aggressive.
I mean, he's just been, he's been tremendous.
He's been tremendous.
And if he doesn't get NLCS MVP, something's wrong.
And listen to the, look at the team.
Like, look at the guys we have on this team.
Then we're talking about Tommy Edmund getting MVP.
Yeah.
What are we doing?
All of these stars.
Yeah, it's the one guy before, maybe a week or two before the trade deadline.
And I did a whole like a video on my channel where I'm talking about here's all the possibilities the Dodgers can go out and acquire.
I mean, we talked so much about Luis Robert.
We talked so much about I can't even think of the kid's name right now.
He went to Seattle, Randy and Rosa Raina, all of these other people.
Who would have thought it was a guy that hadn't even played baseball yet in 2024 was going to be the difference maker in this series?
And what is up with Dodgers short stops being out here being difference makers also in the
LCS and hopefully one more world series and get himself a nice truck like Corey did a couple years
or a Corvette. I have to say, I have to say, Richard Flores. Richard, I want to thank you personally.
Is he actually in the building? Yeah, he's in the living room. He has been a part of this
podcast of ours then the entire season. So Richard, thank you so much. This is the matchup everyone
wanted, America wanted in the world wanted DA Roberts. And yes, we know after the daughter
stadium, Brooklyn. We get that. I'm in his man cave. He's been asking me to come to his house and
do this he's got two rooms yeah i mean i love the fernando jersey behind and he's got a lot oh
excuse me all right oh so it's official sarah sarah our producer said to tommy as
cheers to tommy congratulations i mean look at but look at the lineup hello addie
ady thank you ten dollar super chat drinks on me thank you all right look at the line look at the line
look at the line though two for four o tani one for four bets tay oscar two for four i remember
Remember, Teosker was my X factor, and he was very, very quiet until tonight.
Tommy Edmond, two for five with the home run.
Muncie O for two, but Muncie's gotten on base a ton.
Kike, one for four, Pahas, O for five, but that's all right.
Tommy sure plays a mean baseball.
Will Smith with the bomb.
I appreciate that.
Even CT3, two for three tonight.
So up and down the lineup, there was production, and you cannot say enough about the bullpen.
Again, a lot of people questioned why they went the way that they went and having to have a
bullpen game twice in a seven game series is a little scary. Yeah. But Dave knew what the heck
he was doing. So I'm thrilled. I'm so, part of me is like super bummed. I'm no longer there.
But part of me is so excited for these guys and the organization and the city and the fans.
And if anybody wants to give me tickets or invite me to their house for a watch party,
Alana Rizzo's in. I'm talking in the third person now. I mean, like, you know, Reggie Jackson.
The thing is, though, you wouldn't be able to have your.
wine if you were still working for the team, or at least Lawn would give you a lot of shit if you were
drinking their hot. No, no, no, no. Listen, I would have already opened the champagne and just
been like, oh, with the boys. That would have been fine.

spotlights women who turn missteps into momentum
and lessens into power.
I think coming out of where I came from,
I'm from the Bronx, I think I grew up really poor.
I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity
to romanticize life.
And I'm like, my mom did a really good job of like,
you step back and you're like, whoa, we, I don't know how we made it.
So a lot of my life was like built out of like,
survival to get to the next place.

You know, that is one thing I imagine.
let's make this about you for a second.
How much fun is it being in the clubhouse in these kind of celebrations and knowing how,
I mean, you saw Max Muncie after the last series.
Like nobody thought we're going to be here.
80% of you Fers, you know, pick the Padres.
I feel like when he was talking about me.
I did.
I did.
I feel terrible.
There was a lot.
I've gotten so much crap for that.
By the way, I said talking in the third person like Reggie Jackson, obviously I met
Ricky Henderson.
Hold on.
Hold that thought for a second.
It was.
Where are we going?
It was a blast to be in the clubhouse.
It was an absolute blast to be in the clubhouse because you're, you know, I have to say this about the daughters.
I've worked with a lot of different organizations and entities covering baseball in my career.
And no disrespect to the other places I've worked, but the Dodgers legitimately made me feel like family.
I really felt like I was a part of the team.
And part of that was because I was a Dodgers employee.
And part of that was because I wasn't a network employee.
And there's a difference, right?
Like if you work for the team versus you work for the network that covers them,
but they always made me feel special like I was a part of them.
And when you're with a team from basically, you know, let's just say Valentine's Day,
because that's kind of when pitchers and catchers report, right?
When you're with a team from February 14th until if you're fortunate enough to cover a team like the Dodgers,
that's a perennial contender, you're with them until the end of October.
So it's like, it's like Valentine's Day, Halloween.
And you're with these guys every single day.
and they made me feel very special.
So I've got, I have two National League pennant rings.
I have a World Series ring from 2020.
And now I'm pissed because I'm not there.
I'm sure somebody's going to send you something special.
But we've done making this about you.
Let's make this about show hey, Otani.
Let's make this about mooky bets at the top there.
Freddie Freeman.
The whole team has this team been at picking up Freddie Freeman?
You know Fred does not want to not be in that lineup.
It's got to kill him.
I mean, this guy has been in the game more than he never takes days off, right?
He never takes days off.
And my heart bled for him and it bled for Brandon Nimmo.
Planner fasciitis is no joke, obviously.
Freddy's ankle's probably freaking broken.
Let's be honest.
It's probably broken.
Honestly, like, I mean, like, this is like these guys get cortisone shots.
They get, you know, like they have the best medical team in the world.
But if you're running on a broken ankle, it's like Anthony Rizzo playing with two broken fingers.
Like, I just don't, you know, I don't envy these guys.
But Freddie's a gamer.
He wants to be out there, you know?
I mean, even if he's out there as a decoy.
And it's honest, no, decoys, uh, show hay's dog.
But, and it's, it's another part of, I think, the story of this team, uh, entering this
postseason, entering the month of September, they were hoping to get Yamamoto back.
You're hoping to get Glassnow back.
And then you lose Gavin Stone, Clayton Kershaw with the injury, the final homestand of the regular
season, Freddie Freeman gets injured.
You have the, you know, always banged up and broken.
veteran Miguel Rojas, this team really gets off on picking each other up. And, and those are the,
to me, that's a sign of a very good postseason ball club, the ones that really want to pick
each other up in these moments, in these situations. Freddie wants to be in there. Don't worry,
buddy. We got your back. And hopefully he's ready to go pick up some big time A-Bs against
the Yankees in the World Series because baseball, everybody got what we wanted, Alana.
Dodgers, Yankees, first time, what is it? 43 years.
years we're getting Dodgers, Yankees. That's fun.
Let me ask you some or let me tell you something. I'm not asking you anything. I'm telling you.
I have I have had this this whole conversation a million times about how I because I know what
everyone's going to say. Oh, two big market teams blah, blah, blah, blah, going to the world
series. It's so obvious they're going to go. No, I'm telling you. I'm telling you. Yes,
money buys really good players, but money does not guarantee championships. And I will say this until
I'm blue in the face, Dodger blue, Pantone 294 in the face.
you can buy really good players, but it doesn't mean that they're going to gel.
It doesn't mean that they're going to have the chemistry.
It doesn't mean that they're going to play for each other.
It doesn't mean that they're going to believe in each other.
It doesn't always work out.
So, yes, the Yankees and the Dodgers have tremendous payrolls.
Yes, the Yankees and the Dodgers have a tremendous fan base.
And they're both global organizations with a ridiculous amount of history.
But that doesn't guarantee anything, you know?
And this is very exciting.
I mean, even for the casual baseball fan.
Let's say you're not a fan of either team, but you're a fan of the sport or you're learning
about the sport. Everybody knows who the New York Yankees are. Everybody knows who the Los Angeles
Dodgers are, right? So this is an exciting time for our sport. You know, it's, it's L.A., New York,
West Coast, East Coast, you know, who's the best coast type of situation? This is exciting.
And I'm very, very happy for L.A. I'm very happy for New York. It's been a long time since New York's
been there since 2009, obviously, when they won the World Series. I mean, New York has 27 World Series
Championships. They have a ton. But I'm also,
excited for the Dodger fan base because if the Dodgers win the World Series, they actually get a parade.
I mean, obviously when we won, I can still say we because I was there at the time.
When we won in 2020, as did the Lakers, they got jipped. L.A. got jipped on parades because of COVID.
And I understand. I understand the safety. I'm not saying we should have had a parade.
But the point is neither team got to celebrate with their fan base. And by the way, MFers, no asterisk.
you know what i mean for 2020 but certainly in 2024 uh you know like let's let's let's let's let's have a
parade let's have a parade let's have a proper parade so the fans can celebrate 2020 and
2024 what were you thinking in the first when cope was out there though i was like oh shit he's
coming out in the first yeah if if if i'm going to you know cherry pick anything in this game i
wasn't a huge fan of kopeck opening the game uh i understand why you don't go to brazier as an opener again
ultimately approved to be, you know, the right call. Yeah, you know, the Mets only get one run there.
Can we also shout out Casper, Ben Casperius going in there, shoving two solid innings,
resetting the bullpen because Dodgers weren't flush with, with arms, especially leverage arms.
They had a lot of pieces, obviously, ready to go. But if you had to turn to Landonac,
or if you had to turn to, I mean, you couldn't probably go to, couldn't go to Honeywell here,
or his Henriquez in the game or something like that's where you start to get a little bit more of that,
that worry that dread thankfully once again um a calling card of this team this postseason as well
they just keep um you know tacking on runs throughout the game whether it's show hey whether it's
Tommy edmund of course the will smith bomb to get him going to get to take Oscar going in this
game ready for a world series uh where the Dodgers are the home team how nice is that to be the
home team when you have to fly across the country that's that's the thing I was yeah exactly I was
I was very psyched for that.
I was like trying to figure out like ticket situation.
And everyone's like, hey, do you have tickets?
I'm like, me, I really don't.
But I'm trying to figure out tickets for myself.
So I was like, all right, Dodgers have home games, you know, games one and two.
And then obviously three, four and five, if necessary in New York.
And then game six and seven would be back in Los Angeles.
So I was like, all right.
No, that's great because the Dodgers don't have to travel.
They can get a much.
I'm assuming they have tomorrow off because my guess is they're going to have a brown bottle flu tomorrow.
So they're partying tonight.
And then they'll probably have tomorrow off.
And then they'll have a workout day.
obviously and then World Series starts on Friday so we have like we have a week for them to
to figure things out so this takes that long yeah it does i forgot when we're starting i thought it
was starting on tuesday no we start on friday i was hoping i mean it was going to it was going to be
moved up had one of the c s's finished in five games but that's not the case um obviously there's
media day there's a lot of pomp and circumstance so it's like it's not like they have like a week off
but tomorrow they probably will have off and then obviously the yankees will come to
town, there's Media Day and this, that, and the other thing. But this is such an exciting time
because I feel like in 2020, obviously, when we went, it was such a weird time in our world.
It was such a weird time in our country, our world, our universe and baseball was like,
it was like provided some levity, but it was still so bizarre. I mean, to play an entire
postseason in one place was crazy, to not have fans in the stands until the World Series was
crazy. You know, there's just a lot of things. I'm excited.
for this team.
Dave Roberts, I apologize for ever doubting you.
One time in 17 years of knowing the man,
I said, oh, game three of the NLDS, what's happening?
And I haven't heard the end of it.
So the ALCS game seven would have been tomorrow,
so that's why there's a gap.
Thanks, Mark.
Mark always keeps this in check.
Our boss always keeps us like.
I wonder often if Mark sleeps, by the way.
I don't think he does appreciate that man.
You can't when you start a company.
You can't sleep.
He started fell territory.
So you got a few.
days the Dodgers have the opportunity now to reset them some things. I mean, Bueller was lined up.
We saw Bueller stirring here tonight. And obviously we could talk more about this series. We have now
apparently some time because I thought it was starting on Tuesday because I'm apparently an idiot.
But you have some time. We have some time to talk about this. Hopefully we get some Yankees fan guest
hosts and all these kind of things going on here on Dodgers territory. So make sure you guys
are subscribed to see what we got dropping this week. But you have time to kind of reset. Do you want
to go Yamamoto game one here in L.A.? Do you stick with the next guy?
up in the rotation give bueller a game one start to line him up for a game five uh if if needed what
do you do in this situation if you're just thinking about it immediately after the fact and then let's
double back on this tomorrow at noon uh la time and see how we're feeling one day after
honest god i don't know because every decision i've made has been wrong so i'm going to go ahead
and say whatever dave chooses to do is probably the right decision i would have i would like to start
Tyler Glassnow and then I would like to start Clayton Kershaw and then I would you know I don't know
I don't know who we start I mean Flaherty was under the weather um when he started in his last game
obviously we're not going to start him but yeah I mean Bueller game one I'm fine with Bueller at home
game one I mean I like Bueller out there he's been phenomenal this post season when you're
talking about how many pieces this team is missing five you know what five six ERA in the regular
season but he's gone out there doesn't matter
Like the regular season doesn't make a difference.
He made that switch.
He made the very clear line of demarcation.
That was last season.
This is the real season.
That was spring training for me.
And this is what matters.
Noah Ortega also another one of the guys in the living room says,
don't fire Dave Roberts yet.
I think Dave's going to be around for as long as he wants to be.
Even when I was chirping and hollering and giving Dave some shit after games two and three,
I always knew he was still the right guy.
The only, you know, comment or only question, only concern you have is, do you look to just find another voice?
It's the whole idea of change for the sake of change.
Luckily, the whole series changed, the whole postseason change for these Dodgers.
I saw a comment in the chat mentioning it's not a, not a very great postseason series.
I would say it is if you're a Dodger fan.
I thought it was a really good postseason series.
So many runs.
it's less than ideal as like a baseball truther.
I want to see some pitching in an ideal world.
But if not, I want to see the Dodgers put 10 runs on the board, what, three times
in the series?
That's also pretty fun.
I mean, listen.
Yeah, you'd like to see, you'd like to see a pitching duel.
You'd like to see, you know, like maybe some small ball.
You'd like to see guys, you know, like station to station.
I don't care.
I don't care if it's one to nothing or if it's 11 to 10.
Like, I just went.
You know, just win, baby.
Just win.

Yama did well at Yankee Stadium.
I know.
I know, Cooper.
I hear you.
I need Yama to do exactly what he did back in June.
Who do you want to start game one?
Yeah, that's we're asking the folks that, yeah, I don't know.
I mean, sure.
Blarity's fine.
I go Beeler.
Yeah.
It might be the wrong call.
I feel good about him.
Let me ask you this question.
Now that we have a few days off before the games actually start.
And I'm not saying ever.
I love Miguel Rojas.
You have been a huge, huge, huge fan of his, proponent of his.
And I'm with you.
And I love the dude.
But maybe, unfortunately, because of his injury, it opened up the opportunity for Kikeke
to be in the lineup all the time.
It opened up the opportunity for Tommy Edmund to be.
all over the place and it created some offense it created some juice if Miguel's

great leader do you mess you know do you mess up the lineup did you put him back
in there for defense like how do you how do you manage that situation
situation. Don't mess with it or do you insert him back in if he's healthy to go?
Yeah, I mean, you can make the argument. He's a pretty damn good free coach there on that
bench. I mean, he's not free. They're paying him a decent amount of money. I've always lived by
the adage of, you know, you leave the dance who you go to the party with or you go to, you know,
leave that dance. You show up to that party or whatever, dance. I keep losing it there.
But the thing is. How many dances have you been to? I don't, I don't dance. I boogie.
Still, you show you go home who you left with. But however, in the thing.
middle of the dance, you found another person there on the dance floor. You guys are
viving. You felt good. And that was Tommy Edmund. And since he took over at shortstop,
it's been, it's been all Dodgers. It's kind of almost been all Dodgers. Granted, the Mets
pulled two wins in this series. But I like Keirmeyer as that option late in a game to go in on
defense. And if Miguel Rojas can't really, you know, get it up and down when you're talking
about his most important tool defense and he can't move that leg too much, I just, I don't
don't know that you go that route, especially if you're going to have Freddie Freeman remain
on the roster knowing his limitations. So Micky Roe, he's going to have fun. He's going to get his
ring if we get that far, if we get four more wins. But I like with, I like sticking with what we
have. I understand. I am in accordance. Let me ask you this. I know we have plenty of time to
discuss the World Series. We have our show tomorrow, obviously. Don't forget to join us tomorrow.
you guys were on the air live with a brand new episode of dodgers territory at 12 p.m. Pacific
3 p.m. Eastern we'll talk about all of these things. But while we're spitball in here,
Tommy Edmund's been tremendous. Do you leave him in the cleat up spot?
Oh, great question. I mean, look at what that man did for this team today. Look at what he did
in this series. I think at one point the number was he was batting 500 in like eight games in the
cleanup spot for this team. Yeah, Tommy Edmund needs to be your cleanup hitter. And I understand
the splits he hasn't been as good you know swinging left-handed maybe just missed one off the end of the
bat in what it was seventh eighth inning or something like that but that's your guy that's got to be
your guy right now especially with the uncertainty of freddie freeman in there um or maybe not in
there Tommy edmund's just been so good at being somebody in the middle of the lineup that keeps the line
moving and we've talked about it he can get a bunt down he could poke a single over wherever the
hell you need it sometimes. And we saw the
the slug come out today with
a double and a homer. So
he's got to stay in that three hole.
I like Tay Oscar now warming up.
Sorry, in the four hole. Teasker now in the
three hole breaking out, getting World Series
ready with two hits today.
I think it's a good lineup. And like
you said earlier, whatever Dave
says I'm in on.
Right. I know. I can't
say it enough. He's been tremendous this year and I
feel badly for doubting him, although that's part
of our job sometimes. You know, we have to be objective.
We have to be critical sometimes.
It's never, it's never out of, it's never a, you know, a menacing thing.
It's never trying to be a jerk.
It's just sometimes you have to like, kind of questioning.
This is a team that has achieved so much.
And in a year, Clint, that I think they have overcome so many more odds.
And again, I've said it all year long.
I was very, very concerned about the pitching staff.
And they have proven me wrong in two series, a five game series.
and a seven game series.
I hope that that trend continues in the world series.
I mean, this is exciting.
This is the biggest stage in the world with two of the biggest teams,
the two biggest teams in the game.
I mean, like, if you're, I'm sorry,
if you're Fox right now, you are loving life.
You're loving life.
This is what you wanted, right?
You wanted L.A. against New York.
This is exciting.
But the Dodgers.
Literally.
Yeah, the Dodgers are very well equipped to handle.
I mean, think about it.
I think, I mean, let's say Freddy's okay, right?
Think about it.
It's like you got Shohei, you have Muki Betts, you have Freddie Freeman,
you have Juan Soto, Jean-Carlo Stanton, Aaron.
I mean, this is ridiculous.
Like, the game's best going head-to-head in the two biggest cities in our country.
Like, this is amazing.
It's a type of series that when baseball comes back from the dead, you know,
around Valentine's Day, usually those are the heads you see on the promotionals.
You know, it's Aaron Judge, it's Mooky Betts,
to show hey otani and yeah baseball fans are going to be in for a treat at least we really hope it's
everybody's going to be in for a treat a good series but tough for both sides dodgers you can argue
still in a tough position you have to go they had to go to two bullpen games in this series and
that's a hard way to live we'll keep letting it eat hopefully the bullpen can get a little bit
healthier uh over these next couple of days maybe alex vessia comes back in there i don't know
he removed from the bullpen because Honeywell was so important to saving, saving some innings
for these arms in this series.
Casperius, like I said, tonight, you know, Henriquez put down a couple of, you know, clean
innings in the series.
Maybe he's the guy, but you hope you can find a way to get Bessia back and, you know, rest up
a little bit more that ankle could be good.
And hey, hey, hey, you know, F it.
I've had a few Modellos tonight.
Let's say maybe show Hey, Otani pitching in the World Series.
I know.
No, no, he doesn't need to.
I'm finally saying it's not happening.
No, but you did bring up a good point on your Modelo Sunday.
I forgot about the drink.
The point that you brought up is Alex Vescia could be ready to go.
And I don't think we gave Alex Vesia.
I certainly didn't.
I don't think we gave Alex Vesia enough credit for what he was able to do in that bullpen.
I mean, he was like your bulk innings guy, right?
So he ate up a ton of innings in the bullpen.
He did a really good job with it.
You take him out of the equation, and that just puts more pressure on everybody else that's in the bullpen.
and they exceeded expectations with that.
So credit to what Alex Vesia did to get you here,
but also credit to the Dodgers bullpen
for having to fill that void with Alex Vessia on the IL,
or not on the IA, but not able to be on the CS roster.
So hopefully he can come back and be a big part of that,
eat up some innings, obviously,
if we're going to have to have those bullpen games again,
which unless we have some magical like pitching fairy come from the, you know,
the sky, like we're going to have to have.
bullpen games again. By the way, on our foul territory platform, we have a lot of really
great podcasts, a lot of our friends, the Mets Up podcast. It's hard for me to say. Do you always say
messed up? I say it's Mets up podcast. They are part of the Fowel Territory Network.
Not to say that I want to go and see them cry, but you can get their perspective of
things. So make sure you're listening to them, like them, subscribe to them, all of the
things with the Mets Stup podcast, those folks over there, part of the Fowel Territory Network.
I never worried in this game.
Like, not one second did I worry?
I did not at all.
Like, I didn't.
I even wanted to tweet out, we're going to the World Series like in the fourth inning.
And I know that you don't do that.
No, listen, I know that you don't do that.
And I didn't.
But I never worried.
Like, this is the first game that I've been like, we're good.
I had a little worry.
There was a little bit of worry in there.
There's a few innings that, you know, when Evan
Phillips loaded the bases, you know, the chest starts going a little bit more.
But it was, it was very few and far in between.
A lot in the series.
I started getting a little bit of anxiety entering this game, like on my drive over here
to the beautiful Man Cave, DeVore Man Cave.
Then the game started.
And after, you know, Kopec exited only one, only one Mets run in, that's where you feel
really good.
I think the Dodgers quickly quieted the loudest doubters in my head.
And then Tommy Edmund just, you know, put me on his back and said, I got you, bro.
We're going to the World Series.
Just like Alana is thinking right now, but can't tweet it, we're going to the FN World Series.
And this is fun.
This is the fun team.
We are.
Congratulations.
What did I say a bunch, by the way?
One last thing.
I said, this is a team running on ORA.
It's a team running on fun, the smiles, the seeds.
Enjoy it, Dodgers fans.
Look at how excited they are right now.
Look at the show.
Hey, Otani.

Welcome to the Boys and Girls podcast.
Arranged Marriage is basically a reality show

And who's judging?
Only your entire family?
I sacrificed myself to this ancient tradition,
hoping to find love the right way.
And instead, I found chaos, comedy and a lot of cringe.
