Hello, everybody, and welcome to a live edition of Dodgers Territory. We are your host. That is Clint
Paseas. I am Alana Rizzo. Don't forget to get the questions in. We have a special guest today,
Eric Caros. Clint will be joining the show. And don't forget to, uh,
Rate us five stars. If you can, like and subscribe to Dodgers Territory podcast on Apple, Spotify,
wherever you get your podcast. Of course, tube in, as my guy likes to say. All right,
before we get to Eric Caros, Clint, let's get into Blue Balls. This bums me out.
I tell you what, when Mookie got hit, I was like, oh, I mean, right after we got the news on Yamamoto,
I'm like, what is happening? What, in your opinion, my friend, is the most problematic one,
the one for bigger concern.
I mean,
obviously,
they both suck.
Yamamoto is the bigger concern at this point.
I was holding out hope on Saturday,
as he's pulled after two innings.
I was like,
maybe they caught something early enough.
Maybe it wasn't that bad.
It just needs a little rest in the triceps.
But hearing,
it's a rotator cuff,
you never want to hear that for a pitcher.
So that one,
uh,
we know this team has some pitching depth,
but I don't know that they have enough to withstand,
uh,
the potential loss or the potential lesser version of Yoshinobu Yamamoto,
when this is somebody who in theory is going to be their ace, you know,
to open a postseason series.
So that one very concerning to me.
That's the thing, right?
You're looking at it.
And again, it doesn't require surgery.
So let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
But the problem is it's like if the season were to end today,
I mean, your three starters are Glasno, Yamamoto, and Gavin Stone probably, right?
Although Bobby Miller's back, but you don't know what the heck you're going to get.
Bobby Miller's going to start on Wednesday in the Colorado Rocky Series, Clint.
I think in the regular season, you can withstand Moogie being gone,
but you can't withstand a hit like this to your rotation in the postseason.
Yeah, I mean, it's giving shades of 2021, where they had some injury issues throughout the season.
They also just had some pitching issues.
I generally like to avoid the name online, Trevor Bauer, but they lost Trevor Bauer.
before the all-star game, and that proved to just be a massive blow.
They go out and get Max Scher, and then he is unable to answer the bell in the postseason.
Things just kind of fell apart.
We've seen how this team responds in the postseason when it's low on pitching,
when it's low on healthy starting pitching.
I agree with you.
They could withstand Mookie Betts being gone for, let's say it's two months.
You know, we've been through this.
I'll go to 2021 again, a bad season for the dollar.
Rogers, they were without Corey Seeger for 65 games. They actually went 40 and 25 with Seeger down.
And hey, Alana, we get to see Miguel Rojas at shortstop in the interim. I'm going to
silver lining on this. I'm going still aligning. Yes, finally, finally your dreams have come true.
You have been clamoring and calling for Miguel Rojas to get more playing time at short,
and that is going to happen now because with Mookie Betts out, obviously, for an extended period of time,
no timetable yet for his return. I think he's seeing the doctor today. Then McGee Rojas has
going to get the bulk of the starting time at short. And then when you look at the lineup,
Clint, it looks like perhaps they just move show hay up to the leadoff spot. That's the plan.
That's what Dave Robert said. It's going to be Show Hey, Otani in the lead off spot, been there,
done that, has Showtime. He's had success in the lead off spot. He's also on, you know,
as Dave Roberts might say, he's on the come right now when it comes to the bat waking up for
home runs in this recent homestand. So you're improving the defense for sure because
you're adding a world-class shortstop at the position.
You have one of the best lead-off batters still sliding into that spot with
Mookiee Betz gone.
This is a team well-equipped to withstand the loss of Mookie Betts.
It's tough, though.
It's very, very tough.
You don't want to see a potential MVP candidate, likely front-runner right now,
and the leading vote-getter at shortstop in the National League All-Star Game voting.
You don't want to see him go down like this, but, you know, I mean, Mookie also kind of found
the positive. And he's like, maybe it's a mental reset. You know, I'd kind of complain.
Maybe he's dragging a little bit. So I'm trying to be, you know, Mitch, a lot of half full
with this one as much as Mikein might say. But still, just a very, very tough weekend. They take two or
three from the Royals, but tough weekend for the Dodgers and these ugly headlines.
Yeah, don't forget to like and subscribe. Follow us on Dodgers territory. This is no gloom.
Things could be worse. You could be a Giants fan. Well, say, there you go. There's the silver lining.
as we're always reminded, we appreciate that. Yes, I mean, it could be worse, of course.
The mooky loss to me is more brutal. I mean, that's fair. I think it could go either way.
They don't have offensive depth and they move Vargas off the infield to accommodate
Mokey wanting to stop being an infielder. I don't think Mokey wanted to stop being an infielder.
I think it was by necessity that Mookie went to right field. So let's make sure that we understand
that. Jackson says when I hear rotator cuff, I always think of Mark Fidrich.
Is that how you say that? I don't want to think of that comp right now, not even slight.
lately.
Yeah, I mean, I'll say, I have a question for you.
So maybe, I mean, we've had the conversation about is Mookie Betts the best starting
shorts up?
Should he be the shortstop for this team for the entirety of the season, heading into
the postseason?
Is this, I don't want to call it an opportunity, but, you know, they're going to have
a couple of months to kind of assess the situation.
Maybe Miguel Rojas stays healthy.
He takes over in that spot.
Maybe they find a trade partner.
I'm going to throw Francisco Lindor's name out there again for fun.
But you think that maybe there's a scenario where Mookie gets healthy and he's not the shortstop anymore when he comes back.
It just depends on, I mean, who's out there that's better?
Who's out there in the organization already or within the organization that's better than what Mookie Betz is going to give you?
And I don't see Francisco Linder in a daughter uniform.
There's just too much tied to him as far as money and on all of those types of things.
So again, it's like people always clamor like next guy in, next guy in.
And this guy's a bum.
Well, who out there is better than Mookie Bet?
So when Mookie comes back, I mean, it's going to take it.
I'm more concerned about Mookie getting his timing and rhythm back offensively than I am about who's going to play shortstop, you know, at that point.
I just want him to be healthy.
I want him to, it's not supposed to require surgery.
Those are all good things.
But it just, it does.
It makes me nervous.
It takes some time for these guys to get back.
And that's what also concerns me about the pitchers that we're getting back.
I'm glad Bobby Miller's coming back.
I guess we no longer have to have a six-man rotation, right, with Yamamoto on the shelf.
But again, it's going to take time.
It's still taking Puehler some time to get settled back into where he was pre-Tomijohn surgery.
You know, you don't know what Kirsch is going to give you.
We're not getting Destin Mayback.
So right now it all falls on Tyler Glasnow, who has the most he's ever pitched coming off last season.
And Gavin Stone, who is a young kid, good, could be really good, but is still unproven at this point.
We're still waiting to welcome in Eric Caros.
We're going to get him moment.
voluntarily. Do you think there was a little bit of frustration? I'm asking you to speculate. You and I don't know this. But do you think there's a little bit of frustration with Dave Roberts on how the whole Yamamoto situation? I don't know when you and I discussed this. I don't know that Yamamoto would have been pitching on Saturday had Dave realized that the what he was doing to turn into this rotator cuff situation.
Yeah, I think, you know, you read Dave's words as opposed to hearing Dave's word, hearing them, they're a little less harsh, but still, you know how Doc is he is somebody, he will tiptoe around throwing some people under the bus in the lack, you know, for lack of saying it in a better way.
He pretty much like tiptoed onto that line of kind of saying, hey, you know what, this is what we were told.
Here is a quote.
It's like, I've never put a guy out there where he can get hurt and is, you know,
that's part of it is trusting the player, listening to the player and, you know, telling them how he feels.
And if he feels like he can pitch, he's going to go out there.
More from Dave.
I can't be in his body.
I need the communication as well.
Kind of putting some of the onus here on Yoshinobo Yamamoto.
I don't know if he's trying to, you know, trying to force his way through that situation,
hoping it would go away.
but if you're feeling pain, I think it did get worse over those two innings.
But if you're feeling the pain, you got to shut it down quicker or you got to tell your team,
you know what, for the sake of the entirety of the season, let's put me on the aisle now.
Let's just try to nip this in the bud now.
So it doesn't become a potentially two, you know, one, two, three month thing.
Because we don't know.
We have no idea of the severity of this injury and of the timeline for return.
I agree.
I agree.
You know, it's easy to paint things with a broad brush and act like we know everything,
but there's so many different things that go on behind the scenes that we actually have no idea about.
One thing we do know is that the first round of all-star voting totals have come out.
Not surprisingly, Mookie Betts, or maybe surprisingly for some, I don't know,
in the National League is the number one vote getter at short.
There were a couple of Padres on there that surprised me a little bit.
And not just not because it's the Padres, calm down, Padres fans.
Not that there's a lot of Padres fans listening to Dodgers territory.
But for Nader Titish Jr. in right field, I question that a little bit.
I don't question jerks and pro far and left. I think he's had a nice, solid year for them.
Clint, I don't know if you saw the first results, and here they are, as far as the National League and American League is concerned.
Were there any surprises for you as far as this? Otani as the DH, of course, Mookie is on there.
You know, I don't know. Here's all the, these are all Dodgers at this point.
But these are not the starters. The starters, as far as the totals came out for the.
that too and mookie's a starter and so is the show hey at the dh spot yeah i mean i don't think there's
any major surprises there we know everybody loves mookie and all the storylines around mooky bets being a
shortstop was probably going to get him uh get him a lot of votes in there kind of surprising
to see gavin lux up there in that five spot i mean i guess there's not an abundance of second
base option to not to take away anything from luxie he's playing a very good defensive second
base and and you know the bats come in it's making its way around but uh
no major surprises at all for me of course show hey always going to be that leading vote kidder
whatever league he's in but anything stand out for you yeah to asker hernandez should be
starting i mean he at very least should be in second in voting i mean i don't know how teoscar
hernandez isn't representing the national league in the all-star game i mean that what he's done
amongst outfielders and what he's done for the dodgers in general um i get it's a popularity
contest and that's fine and give credit to the San Diego Padres fans for stuff in that ballot box.
That's what Dodgers fans should be doing. That's what every team's fan base should be doing
is stuffing the ballot box because that's how these guys get in. It's a popularity contest.
That's why Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the leading vote getter in the American League at first.
Vlad Guerrero Jr., no disrespect to him. He was an MVP candidate. No disrespect to him.
He's not the number one first baseman in the American League this year.
But again, Toronto Blue Jays fans, plus he has the name.
he's the number one lead getter,
or number one vote getter right now in the American League.
So Dodger fans, if you want to see your team represented,
get out, you may have to get out.
Get on your computer.
Vote.

I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of the podcast Smart Talks with IBM.
I recently sat down with IBM's chairman and CEO,
Arvin Krishna.
And I asked him,
how can companies use AI to its fullest potential
to create smarter business?
My one advice to that.
It is, you can see.
scale. Don't pick the shiny little toys on the side.
For example.
If anybody has more than 10% of what they had for customer service 10 years ago, they're already
five years behind it.
If anybody is not using AI to make their developers who write software 30% more productive
today, with the goal of being 70% more productive.
Yeah. Wow.
So we are not asking our clients to be the first experiment on it.
We say you can leverage what we did.
We're happy to bring out all our learnings, including what needs to change in the process,
because the biggest change is not technology,
is getting people to accept that there's a different way to do things.

All right, we'd like to welcome in a 14-year big leaguer, 12 of those 14 years.
with the Los Angeles Dodgers, one of the best first baseman in Dodgers history.
Eric Caros is on the road with the team in Colorado, E.K.
I have been trying to pin you down for two months.
I wanted you on our show for a long time.
Thank you so much for being here.
I hate that it's in this circumstance, E.K.,
but what was your first reaction when you heard that Yamamoto was on the IL,
and then when you heard that Mookie Betz broke his hand?
Well, so the crazy thing is, is I was driving into the stadium yesterday,
right around the seventh inning or something.
I'm going to make this road trip to Colorado with the Dodgers.
And I'm listening to the radio, and they're talking about,
Mookie Betts has just been hit.
Oh, he's down in pain.
And I'm thinking, there's no way that that just happened.
No way.
And then instantly, anytime you think and as a hitter, you're thinking,
oh, my goodness, you know, that's a broken bone or something in the wrist or whatever.
Obviously, you know, the news came in after the game.
brutal, the Yamamoto thing.
Look, when they talked about tricep tightness, you know, prior, you just go, okay, it's, I mean,
that usually has something to do with rotator.
And then you're taking a look here at Muki.
It just, you know, he had nowhere to go.
You see a lot of guys, especially if you look at the Dodger team,
Shoea Otani has got all kinds of padding over both hands.
Muki, I don't believe patting on any one of the back part of his.
batting glove.
You know,
I guess the good thing, if there's any good thing,
it's June, right?
And it's not August or September.
But the Dodgers is going to be without two core pieces for a while.
E.K., a couple of devastating blows there.
You've been in the clubhouse.
You've been in the locker room, both as a player, as a reporter, as an analyst.
How does this affect a team knowing that you're losing your arguably your number one
starter and absolutely your lead off batter. How does that affect the clubhouse?
So with the Dodgers, though, I think it's a little different just because they feel that
they're good enough, deep enough that they can withstand this sort of thing. You know, if you were
a club that didn't have quite the star power to lose somebody like this, you know, you basically
your season's done, be able to, you know, withstand things and wait.
until these guys get back. But as far as like, how do you feel, games go on. And as Tommy
Lissorto used to say, you know, when you have problems, you know, 60% of the people don't care
and the other 40% are glad you have them. And I think that's just what's going on here in L.A.
Leave it to Tommy to say something like that. He's not wrong though. And nobody's going to feel
sorry, E.K. for the Los Angeles Dodgers. You cover a lot of things nationally for Fox as a, as an analyst. So tell me,
what do the Dodgers need, Eric, to be able to compete with the Phillies of the world,
the Orioles of the world. And we saw what they did against the Yankees, but they didn't have
Garrett Cole or Juan Soto at that time. Right. So I still think, you know, could they match up now
and play? Well, of course. And could they win? Yes. When you get into those series, though,
I think one of the things you're going to have to have healthy starting pitching. And we saw that
last year. You know, we talk about the Dodgers being eliminated last year in the first round.
Remember, they go into the playoffs with Kershaw, who could barely lift his shoulder.
You know, Lance Lynn, who really was a shell of himself and Bobby Miller, a rookie pitcher.
And that's one of the things that they won't go into the postseason.
That's the plan.
Guys will be well rested.
They'll have some horses.
And I think, you know, that's something that's going to give them a much better opportunity.
Look, when you get into the postseason, a three, four, five game series, whatever it is, who knows?
Who knows what's going to happen.
But I do believe that the Dodgers are more geared
and are setting themselves up more to be ready for the postseason
than the emphasis on the regular season.
And you don't want to say the regular season doesn't matter,
but the bottom line is you want to be as ready as you can be come postseason.
And if that means giving away some games during the regular season, so be it.
Yeah, Dodgers fans really don't like that.
They expect to go out there and win 160 of 162 games.
teams and any potential losses is, you know, you've seen it on the internet probably.
It's brimstone. It's people with pitchforks and torches.
This is an opportunity for this team to kind of see what they're made of beyond Mookie,
beyond Yamamoto. I think, you know, we got a little over a month until trade deadline time.
Do you think that's enough time to assess whether or not Andrew Friedman in the front office
need to kind of go hard in the paint at adding to this team?
Or is it going to, you know, mainly a shortstop?
going to be, in your opinion, more internal, more Miguel Rojas and maybe seeing what they have
at the AAA level and throughout the organization? So I think, obviously, initially, it's internal.
And when you talk about going outside the organization, you're going to have to find somebody
that wants to trade with you, right? And right now with the way the National League is set up,
I mean, what, there are three teams maybe that are going to be sellers, if that, maybe two.
it just doesn't look like that there's going to be a lot of opportunity.
And yes, you bring into the American League and there's some teams there that are obviously out of it.
But there's so many teams that are, you know, one, two, three games.
And then what is out there?
And you mentioned the shortstop position.
So who's out there at short that teams are willing to separate themselves with or willing to give away?
You know, I know the answer at least with the Dodgers or the talk, especially in the off season.
There's, oh, you know, Corbyn Burns and Willie Adomis over in Milwaukee.
Those are guys you got to get.
It's like, well, yeah, I got a wish list.
I want all sorts of things, but that doesn't mean I'm going to get it.
And for me, the Dodgers, you've got some internal options.
You're going to have a month, month and a half for guys that are going to get opportunities.
And, you know, you can't say that, you know, Mookie, obviously not being there and him trying to continue to make strides and feel more comfortable.
Obviously, this doesn't help.
But on the flip side, too, it gives him a bit of a mental break.
And this isn't to say that, you know, Mookie very well could be your starting shortstop
come to postseason.
And I think the Dodgers still expect that right now.
But there's still time and to try to figure something out right now.
I think, I mean, it sounds kind of cliche, but the only thing that matters right now is
tonight's ballgame.
Decisions don't have to be made for another month.
And we saw how quickly things can change in a matter.
of 24 hours, right? So to try to predict what's going to, things are going to be like a month from
now, you know, that's crazy. So kind of staying on the idea of, you know, they have a little bit of
leeway. Of course, these Dodgers are going to win the National League West or at the bare minimum.
They're going to make the playoffs. I'm playing around with the idea. Do you believe or could you see,
I want to talk Gavin Lux,
potentially moving back to shortstop.
After all the drama we saw at the end of spring training,
you know,
in his head a little bit,
he looks like he's settling in,
he's looking more comfortable,
playing Major League baseball again
after missing all that time with the knee,
would this team,
would this front office kind of risk,
you know,
his mental state a little bit
to maybe see if he can slide back to shortstop,
just to give themselves a little more optionality
as Dave Roberts might call it.
Could that be something?
luck. I don't think so right now. You know, you've got him in a situation where he's played some very
good defensive second base. You know, he's starting to swing the bat better. Rojas is going to get the
bulk of the reps. Kike Hernandez is going to get some reps over there. You know, they do have some
guys down, Trace Sweeney down in AAA, you know, does he eventually get a look? You know, it's one of
the things where I don't believe that they revisit the situation at Shore with Gavin. I wouldn't be
right for Gavin, quite frankly. And again, I think, you know, Miguel is going to get the bulk of
the opportunity and Kike's going to spell him to keep him off his legs. And I think that probably
works. And they'll find out, too, with Mookie, he sees Dr. Shin today. I don't know if he's
already seen him. I haven't heard anything yet, but he is the preeminent hand specialist. And you're
going to get a better idea after today how long this is going to be. Is it just a break? Is it something
that, you know, something else may need to be done as well.
I just don't know, but once you get the results after seeing Dr. Shin today,
I think it will be a much clearer picture of what the Dodgers have to do.

IBM research, what we always do is answer what is the future of computing, whether it's coming
up with new algorithms, coming up with better AI, coming up with quantum, or coming up with just how
do different accelerators go together. It's our DNA to answer the question of what is the future.
Isn't it a perfect problem for IBM because you kind of need to have a legacy of building stuff?
Yes.
Building actual physical machines.
Yeah, it's why I came to IBM. I wanted to. I wanted.
the experience, the culture of building hard things that others have not done before.
Where do you imagine we are in the timeline of this technology?
There will come a point when it will mature.

How far are we from that point with Kondo?
By 2029, we'll build the first Volt-tolerant quantum computer.

Eric, what are realistic expectations when Mookie does come back as far as getting his timing and rhythm back?
It's not as if he's going to come off the IL and be ready to go in MVP form like he was hitting prior to the injury.
What's realistic to expect there?
So again, it just depends on what the diagnosis is.
If it is just specific, it's just a break, and you put it, you know, you, you,
immobilize it, you know, it may be down for four to six weeks, right? If there's something that,
you know, it's complicated with you get into the ligaments and tendons and all that, then that's
something different. One of the things that's interesting is that it is on the glove hand.
So initially coming back, maybe it's, you know, everybody's worried about the swing.
Well, the impact of the ball hitting that glove and the, you know, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,
the pressure that the wrist or hand has to take a ball.
Every time you're catching a ball, guaranteed discomfort can promise you there's discomfort.
So, you know, how long till that dissipates?
How long before you overcome that?
So it's not just about the hitting.
It's also about the defense.
And it's about, you know, handling yourself out in the field and catching the ball.
There does.
Alana, you want to, our friend Scott Geerman had a question.
Yeah, he wants to know, Eric, if Mookie, he believes Mookie will return to shortstop once he returns.
I think we answered that, right?
You don't think it's going to be Gavin Lux.
I mean, will they keep Miguel Rojas there?
Maybe not just because of the wear and tear on his legs.
Does Mookiee take over when he comes back?
I think it's going to be up to Mookiee, and it's going to be up to what happens.
So if Miguel Rojas proves that he can play and he's doing well, then it's going to be up to Mookie.
Like, do I want to come back and, you know, engage at shortstop?
You know, do I want to take that on?
Do I want to play somewhere else?
It's going to really revolve around, you know, how does Mookie physically feel?
Where is he mentally?
And, you know, where are the options for the Dodgers?
And again, in a month from now, we have no idea where things are going to be.
And like I said, you just go back 48 hours ago and, you know, the Dodgers were in a much different spot.
So we know how quick things can turn.
Very much.
You know, shifting gears, just a hair.
We know the Dodgers have another starting pitcher option down at the minor leagues.
I don't know if you know this kid, Jared Caros.
Talk a little bit about getting a chance to see him in spring training and kind of his development as a big league or as a, yeah, we'll call it big league prospect.
Give us the inside school on your boy.
So it's had an opportunity to see him obviously in spring.
And then the Dodgers used him in the freeway series where he got the pitcher.
the Angels in Angel Stadium and did very well.
Started off at Great Lakes, was electric there.
They moved him up to Tulsa, AA.
Hickups in his first start, no doubt.
But since then, he's had four starts there, five starts,
and has been just as dominant as he was in Great Lakes.
So things are going well for him.
It's a pitching-rich organization,
developed pitchers as well as any organization in the game.
He's fortunate to be there.
and we'll see where the road takes him.
Well, he has a hell of a dad to learn from, obviously, as a position player,
but just a wonderful family.
Eric, thank you.
We appreciate you taking the time.
Best luck against the Colorado Rocky, safe travels, and please, no more injuries, okay?
Put those boys in bubble wrap.
We'll do.
Thanks a lot, guys.
Take care.
All right, Eric Caros, one of the best first baseman in Dodger history.
Always a pleasure.
Time now, Clint, for last licks.
Maybe.
All right, this is peppermint Patty.
introduced you to her a couple of days ago. She's a senior gal, but still has a lot of love,
a lot of life left. She's in a good foster home, but we're looking for a permanent home.
She got a clean bill of health, despite being 12 years old. She's a good girl. She's a,
you know, just needs a quiet place to lay, guys. Doesn't take a lot of time, doesn't take a lot
of energy. Just wants to be your snuggle buddy. If you're interested in peppermint patty,
shout out to us at giddreysgardion.org or you can follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
We can get you more information. I don't know if you saw, but the,
The City Connects came out for this year's 2024.
Let's just stop with the City Connects.
I'm not impressed by either one of the Dodgers ones.
I hate to say it, but I'm not.
Did you see the new ones?
You know what?
The initial ones were bad.
They kind of improved them ever so slightly when they went to the white pants last year.
And then this, which we saw a couple months ago,
we were really hoping it wasn't going to be, these were not going to be.
We were hoping it's like some cheap wall.
Mark knockoff.
But this is what the Dodgers did.
You know, shout out to the social media team for trying to hype these uniforms.
But what a terrible day to drop something that nobody really wanted.
And one thing I absolutely detest about these uniforms is that every single digit number,
like we saw Freddie Freeman wearing a 05, that's terrible.
That is not a baseball uniform.
What are we doing here?
but safe to say not very happy with the city connects and the timing could have been a little bit better.
I just think you're the Los Angeles Dodgers.
That jersey to me is just a little boring.
It just kind of looks like a like a road kind of no.
I mean, listen, I don't have a creative bone in my body.
It's easy for me to judge.
But I mean, I don't know that I could create something better.
But to me that there's just not enough pizzage.
You're the Dodgers.
Like there's so much richness in that city.
I do, I mean, I do like the hats.
The hats are pretty sick.
I just don't like, I just don't like the, the jerseys.
I just think they're a little blah.
I mean, I think the first ones we had a couple of years ago were too much.
It was too, it was too dark.
It was too, I don't know.
Too much blue.
These are just too blah.
We need something like in the middle.
The hats are dope.
I'm with Jose.
I think the hats are pretty dope.
I wouldn't say trash on the rest of the stuff, but I just think they're, I think we missed the mark.
Powder blue was right there.
You remember those powder blue uniforms?
It might have been genius before, or maybe it was your first reason covering the team.
No, I wasn't there yet, but I remember the powder blue.
Yeah.
That's literally a uniform.
Fans have been begging for online for the last decade plus.
They want the powder blues back, but I guess Dodgers aren't taking, they're not taking inquiries at the moment.
Chris makes a good point, though.
Just bring back the old school Brooklyn jerseys.
why not as the city connect yeah i like the hats which they weren't navy though the rest of the uni yuck
i you know i would rather see uh players weekend back with the names on the back of the jersey
a little bit of fun for the players as opposed to these um i wouldn't call them monstrosities
because you don't want to crap on artists somebody put time and effort and work into this
but i like that chris pro frosecger saying with the fun fettie sprinkles the sprinkles in there
It's a little rough. It's a little rough.
I understand that you, I was asleep, but I, uh, I didn't, no, actually I wasn't asleep
yesterday, but you had an emergency, uh, show last night because of your reaction to
Mookie getting hit. I didn't see it because I don't know what the hell I was doing, but, um,
so you felt that strongly, huh, that no, I wasn't drinking yesterday. You felt that strongly
that you had to have a show. We did, no, we did an emergency show on Saturday to kind of
complained about that loss, the Yamamoto situation.
And then this morning I dropped a video talking about Mookie,
kind of getting into more thoughts,
just because I know there's going to be,
there's so much talk about it.
I want to get the Mookie thoughts in the tank out of the way early.
I got another stream coming up at 4 p.m.
as a pregame show today on All Dodgers.
By the way, check it out, all Dodgers with Clint Paseas.
Hey, that's me, where we're taking fan calls.
You know, I have our voicemail hotline.
and people, people have, they've called in.
There's a little bit of unease in the Dodgers fan base right now.
So, you know, another thing, people want, people want you on the show.
And I'm like, we already do a show together.
And she's a busy.
I mean, I'd be happy to come on your show.
I'm not that busy.
I'm happy to come on your show.
By the way.
Real licked her up.
Well, that's fine, too.
By the way, Justin Turner was on foul territory earlier before Dodgers territory today.
So check that out, that episode.
so it's about to drop. I mean, it's already out there. You can take a listen to that.
And Ken on Fair Territory also gives us thoughts about everything going on with the Dodgers.
Clint and I will be back together on Thursday for Dodgers territory at 12 p.m. Pacific,
3 p.m. Eastern. Until next time, thanks for listening.
Bye.
