I'm Daniel Alarcon, and this is my friend.
This is much more famous than I am.
I wouldn't go that far, but I'm John Green, co-host at the podcast The Away End, with my old friend Daniel.
On our podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football,
all leading up to the 2026 World Cup.
Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer, is the most important.

The problem is, you know, you had that kind of defeated, deflated feeling
because the Dodgers immediately were down an insurmountable two runs after three pitches.
Everybody and welcome to a live, fresh edition of Dodgers Territory.
We are presented by Fox 1.
We are psyched that you are here.
I am Alana Rizzo.
That is Clint Fasias live at Dodgers Stadium after game 5,
and which was another loss for the Los Angeles.
That's a bummer. We'll get into it. But before that, thanks for being here. Please rate us five stars. Like, subscribe. We're trying to get to 15,000 subscribers. And we can only do it if you guys help us out. We appreciate that very much. Do it on YouTube. You can do it on wherever you get your podcast. We appreciate that very much. So there you have it. Game five, right? Toronto now with a three to two series advantage. They will head home.
Toronto now has the home field advantage, if you will, because the Dodgers will travel and Toronto will travel as well.
Game six is on Friday.
Game seven, if necessary, is on Thursday.
This was the final game of the 2025 season at Dodgers Stadium, Clint.
You are there.
What was the mood?
What was the atmosphere like tonight?
I mean, obviously things got out of hand pretty quickly here with back-to-back jacks to open this game off of Blake Snell.
The vibes were still there.
They were still around.
The ballpark was as into it as you're going to get with Dodgers fans at Dodgers Stadium on, what is it, Wednesday night.
But, you know, one thing that puts butts in the seats and gets people excited is offense.
And nothing happened.
Huge credit.
Story of the game.
The rookie.
Trey is Savage.
Absolutely shoved.
Credit where credit is due.
Blue Jays fans in the chat can be surprised.
There's going to be some Blue Jays pricks.
on this show because I learned some things about this ball club but the command was
there for your savage the splitter was nasty of course from my vantage point
which is a little bit out of the way seven innings only three hits ten punchouts
you know the one earned run was a Kike Hernandez home run that in the third
inning that gave us a little bit of life gave us a little bit of hope but that was
false vibes you know Dodgers offense is absolutely cooked
Yeah, I don't know if they're cooked. They looked uninspired, right? So I think Blake Snell did everything he could possibly do tonight. He wasn't great in game one. This was basically the game one rematch of Blake Snell and Trey I Savage. And Trey is Savage. If you don't know his name, now you know, right? If you don't know, now you know. Because this is a kid that's had what eight or nine big league starts and he's been tremendous so far. Sometimes it's best if you don't, you know, you don't know what you don't know. And I feel like Trey Savage is, Trey Yavage rather, is.
pitching like he has not a care in the world.
And he's shoving and he's done an amazing job.
And he has paid so many dividends for his team.
But the offense just looks uninspired.
They just look like they're,
I felt like Clint, when they went down two to nothing on three pitches in this
at home, it almost felt like it was like perhaps a little bit of being shell-shocked.
Maybe that was the stadium.
Maybe that were the fans.
I mean, I barely sat down.
And I'm like, how are we?
How are we?
Okay, so David Schneider, fine.
And then all of a sudden, yeah, Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
hits another home run on the third pitch of the game.
They're down two to nothing.
But it was almost as if it was like, all right, that's it.
We lost.
I'm like, wait a minute.
Like, it's the first inning.
Like, we're at home.
We're the daughters.
Like, what are we doing?
And you saw the, what I perceive to be the feeling and the dynamic.
and the energy, it just seemed flat.
It just felt like they just conceded a little bit before they should have conceded.
I mean, maybe there's more going on, but I just felt like they, I don't know what I'm trying
to say, but they look defeated all great runs come doing it.
Okay, stop.
You guys, I still have confidence in this team.
I just didn't like the way that it was, I do.
I still have confidence in this team.
There's two games left.
Like, stop.
Yeah.
Yes, there are two games left.
and they have to win both of them.
I have confidence in Yamamoto.
We'll talk about that a little bit later.
But the problem is, you know,
you had that kind of defeated, deflated feeling
because the Dodgers immediately were down
in insurmountable two runs after three pitches.
They didn't put two runs up on the board
over the course of the game.
The game was over after three pitches.
And the problem is the route is the offense.
See, the game is over.
The game was over after three pitches based on what the final score ended up being.
But at the time, the game should not have been over at that time.
It's like, okay, this sucks.
But you know what?
We have an amazing offense.
We are at home.
We're going to get it together.
You know, it's going to be fine.
And it wasn't fine.
So it's like the game was over.
Yeah, you look back at it now.
And they did not put up more than two runs.
But at the time it wasn't over, it was the first freaking inning.
Yeah, you should think, you should hope that they would find a way to put at least two runs on the board to, you know, continue a game into extra innings, assuming there was no other damage done at that point.
But combined with Traia Savage's dominant performance here, we kind of hid from the fact that this offense was not firing on all cylinders for a large majority of this postseason.
Yeah, wins and doing just enough will make you feel good.
will make you feel better because wins are the most important part of the game.
But I don't know.
There was definitely a different kind of vibe, different kind of pulse here at Dodger Stadium today,
being around the team, seeing guys on the field.
They were working.
They were grinding.
I don't know what the clubhouse vibe, what the mood was like last year when they had the idea
that, hey, everybody get together.
We're going to be together with the boys, you know, and just enjoy this and try to win
11 ball games this year they had to win 13 ball games.
Maybe somebody missed that part of the memo because they have won 11 games so far.
But I don't know if this is a point of dissension, but after last night's loss,
Joe Hattani had this to say to reporters in post-game media, whatever, scrum there.
At the same time, we need to do the bare minimum to be able to put some runs, put up some runs
in the board.
I do wonder if it's a little, again, it's not going to be fully a splintered clubhouse, obviously.
It's still a very good team.
But, you know, you add to that, a long quote from Freddie Freeman.
If you want to read it, guys pause it and read it.
We're not going to read all of the things.
But Freddie, echoing what I was saying last night, you're seeing big swings, long swings, guys,
I don't necessarily want to say hero ball, like I said last night.
but the approach is not what you're seeing out of the Blue Jays.
Blue Jays, they have slug when they need it.
You start the game, but they also find some grass.
And they're making the Dodgers have to put in work on defense,
the same way the Dodgers did last year with the Yankees,
and the Yankees couldn't hang.
Dodgers with some defensive blunders here and there
and also a pretty bad bullpen just can't get past these Blue Jays.
Yeah, I mean, I said that the Blue Jays were better than a lot of people thought they were.
And I still maintain, I'm getting blown up in our chat because it's like, oh, she said we were going to, I still think we're going to win the World Series.
The Dumeers are out.
So you know what?
F off, everybody.
I still think we're going to win the World Series.
My God, we have two games left.
Like, it's fine.
Calm the fuck down.
I hope so much you are right.
I really, really do.
I mean, like, calm down.
Seriously.
Like, yeah, it sucks.
Okay.
But ever, we're so spoiled.
We're so spoiled like, my guy, we were supposed to sweep.
And no, I said the Toronto Blue Jays were better than people thought they were.
They are.
They're a good team, okay?
The Dodgers have better starting pitching.
The Toronto Blue Jays might be a more complete team up and down the lineup,
at least at the time right now that we are playing, okay?
So here's the deal.
I wonder if she knows who Alejandro Kirk is yet.
First of all, Scarle-Lem Scars, I've been covering the Blue Jays longer than you've been alive,
so shove it.
I get so sick of the freaking idiots in the chat.
This is one of those episodes where let's keep it here.
It's just us.
Hey, how about we do this?
All right, go ahead.
Are we taking a break?
I'm going to take a break.
Not even a break.
I want to talk about the one positive before we get back into the negative of the offense
because that is the biggest bugaboo.
And then there was a second bugaboo with the bullpen here.
But if there was one bit of positive, even if the line doesn't show it, that was Blake Snell tonight.
I was going to talk about Blake Snell really well.
Yeah, and let's talk about it.
He had a bad three pitches. He had a bad first inning and then he locked in.
He locked in. Let's talk about it in our draft Kings player spotlight.
Do it.
I mean, honestly, you do have to shout out Blake Snell.
And I understand like he wanted to come back after the game one performance.
He even said it today.
He's like, I know, I mean, I'm paraphrasing, but I know that I'm a better pitcher than I was in
game one.
So fine, back-to-back homers to leave off the game.
First time in World Series history, that's not the side of history you want to be on.
But then he locked it in, right?
The only other runs were thanks in part to his teammates, okay?
And when I say thanks in part, it's because it was not good.
Teasca Hernandez had that misplay in right field.
Will Smith had that pass ball in the seventh inning.
Guardo Henriquez, allowing both of the inherited runners,
to score. So his final line ends up being six and two-thirds, six hits, five runs, four walks,
not great, seven-k's, okay, 116 pitches to try and save us from having to see the bullpen.
It didn't work out. He did his part, Clint Fasius. It should have been enough to win a
playoff game. If you go six and two-thirds, it should be enough to win the game.
I'm, this, to me, this game is not on Blake Snell. To me, this game is the offense not being
able to come up, a, getting guys on base, getting guys to, you know, move over, like playing,
you know, station to station baseball, getting guys to scratch out a run in key situations.
This is not on Blake's now.
This is on the lack of offense that we have been plagued by the last couple of games
of the World Series.
Yeah.
And, of course, going up against the rookie, you savage, who we already said was absolutely
nails in this game.
Huge shout out to him for taking advantage.
of an absolutely anemic offense.
You don't know if the offense is anemic because they face Blake's or sorry,
Treyia Savage or he beat up on, you know, a crippled guy at the bar or something like that.
But the point being here, Blake's now, like you said, he did enough to win a postseason game,
to win a World Series game between two clubs that are the best of the best in the National League and the American League.
So I fully agree that Blake's now deserves a shout out for this game.
is the reason you got and pay him all that money.
It's to try to win this kind of baseball game.
Sadly, Dodgers just couldn't put any runs on the board for him.
But thank you to Draft Kings for bringing us this part of the show.

Clint, are you seeing a lot of the 2020-2020 at Bats here?
If that's the case, what do you mean by that?
So like I said earlier and like said last night,
I think we buried the lead a lot,
buried the offensive struggles for this team this postseason
because they've been doing just enough to win.
But the AB quality from this team,
part of it going back into that long kind of quote
from Freddie Freeman, you're not seeing a very good quality team approach.
You're seeing a lot of guys that I don't,
I don't want to fully go in and say that they are trying to do it all themselves.
They're trying to win the ballgame.
Maybe there was a lot of that in that 18 inning game.
But it feels like they get in the box.
They're down 02 right away.
You're seeing Freddie just, Freddie and Moogie in particular, this kind of flailed.
They look, they look depleted, or defleaded, if you will, Tom Brady would be happy to see them be deflated on the field.
I know some people agree with the idea that this offense looks a lot like what we saw in those two years where they couldn't muster up any runs at all.
There was not a good approach, using the whole field, not taking your walks when you need to, and more so just the kind of appearance, the kind of vibe you get out of them at the plate.
They look like they're ready just to go back to, you know, sitting on the bench as quick as they can.
And they have, they have, I guess, two opportunities to win two games in Toronto.
It starts with Yoshinobu Yamamoto, but they got a long flight to have some serious conversations
and hopefully lock it the F-N because Dodgers fans recall how miserable things were during the 2020,
2023 run of just being really, really bad, really flat brand of baseball.
Something where even, you know, Mookie had said.
It's like, I'm not doing anything to help this team win a ball game.
There's a number of guys who are not doing anything to help this team win ball games outside
of the starting rotation.
And they know that.
Let me ask you this.
So when we went into the game tonight, yesterday we were all clamoring about how things needed
to change, right?
The lineup needed to change.
Pah has needed to be sat.
And he was.
So Mookie for the first time in quite some time, actually moving to the three hole, Will Smith was in the two hole, and Deepahas was not in the game.
We'll call was there.
So what did you think about the lineup going into the game today?
Did you feel better about it?
I don't know that I felt better.
I did like Will Smith up in that two hole.
I wouldn't have been upset to see Mookie bets down a little bit more, maybe in the five spot.
But then again, who do you put in the three or four hole?
there's not really anybody who's like clearly ready to take those spots and Dave making that dramatic of a of a change just it's not going to happen with one of his guys.
I thought it was the right idea.
I thought it was the right call.
Turns out Andy Paixas was not the issue.
There he was not the reason.
You can't say that though.
Like you can't say like oh you take it.
I mean, so you take him out of the lineup and then everyone's supposed to go five for five.
Like it doesn't work that way.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, hey, you look on here, you look on the chat.
You're going to find probably 15 people who are going to say yesterday.
Oh, Andy Pahas needs to be out of the lineup, and then they're going to find a way to win.
Yeah, yeah.
But, you know, hey, you said it.
I didn't buy into the fact that I knew the Blue Jays were good.
I didn't buy into the fact that they were infinitely, I don't want to say infinitely, infinitely better,
but a lot better than the Dodgers.
But credit where credit is due with the Jays, you know.
Dodgers have out talented, and I said this on Twitter, they've out talented every team they've faced this postseason.
But the Blue Jays, true to their word, they're just playing a better brand of baseball right now.
That's what you need to do at the right time.
That's what I said.
You have to be healthy.
You have to be playing the best ball at the right time.
And John Smolz and Joe Davis talked about it on the broadcast that after that 18 inning loss, 18 inning loss, you go into the dugout or excuse me, the clubhouse,
following day. And it's like, ho-hum, they're fine. Like, they didn't seem like they were a team
that just got gut punched after going 18 innings and losing on a walk-off home run in the 18th.
Again, I knew that this team was good. I still have faith that the Dodgers will pull it out.
And I know everyone's pissed off and has all kinds of fun things to say in the chat,
but I still have confidence. And you know what? At least we're getting a competitive series, right?
Like if you take the homer bias away, which we are, obviously we're Dodgers fans.
But if you take that away, this is a competitive and fun series.
I was thinking about this going into the day today, into the game today.
You know, it's like obviously they win game one.
We win game two, right?
And then it's 18 innings that we win.
Then they win.
So now we're even.
And then they win game five.
And game five, there's a really strong possibility that whoever wins game five goes on to win the World Series.
But it's been at least competitive.
It's been entertaining.
I understand that most fans, for their own sanity, want it to go four and no and be a sweep.
And there's a lot of things that could have been turned on its head.
If the Blue Jays had won the 18 inning game, you know, like things could have been very different.
But there's still two more days and two more.
opportunities for the Dodgers to figure this out.
You know, so I refuse to give up hope.
And you guys can say what you want to say.
I've covered the sport in a really long time.
And have I been wrong?
Sure.
So what do you want me to say?
The daughters are terrible.
Are you going to clip this off now?
I mean, is that?
I'm too old for this.
Yeah, that's how baseball media works in 2025, unfortunately.
It's all about, ah, gotcha.
Gotcha.
You didn't believe 110% of the way.
Sometimes teams just run into a buzz saw.
Sometimes teams are just playing better baseball.
Sometimes teams just win four games before the other team.
There's still a chance for the Dodgers to win four games for sure.
Certainly, this is making excuses or it's lending itself towards making excuses.
But what are your thoughts about the Dodgers had a pretty long layoff,
obviously sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers and heading into the series.
Do you think that plays a role?
That's a good point that you bring up.
I don't really know.
I don't know that it was the layoff, honestly.
I just think that these are two teams that play a different brand of baseball.
And there was guys, obviously, in the Blue Jays lineup that are coming up huge in situations
that you would not have thought that they would come up big in.
You know, the Addison bargers of the world.
You know, yes, now Will Klein had an unbelievable performance for the Dodgers.
But like the guys that you would expect to come up big for the Dodgers,
have not come up big consistently, not exclusively, but not have come up big consistently
throughout the series. And there have been the underdogs on the Blue Jays that have made
massive, massive impacts that you would not have expected, right? And that's what the beauty
is of this sport. It's like you expect the Freddie Freeman's, the Mukki Betts, the Shohei Otanis
to make big, big contributions. And those guys haven't necessarily done it,
consistently throughout the series. There have been moments, of course. I'm not suggesting that
they're having. But when you look at the blue days, you expect Bo Bichette's, you expect the George
Springer's. You expect the Vladimir Guerrero Juniors to make up like massive moments, right? Well,
Bo's hobbling. You know, George Springer's out. I mean, he's probably going to, if needed,
he can come off the bench. And Vladie is Vladdy, but it's been guys that you don't expect to come
up in huge situations, the Dalton Varshers of the world, the Addison bargers of the world, you
know, obviously Alejandro Kirk is a very good player.
Huge.
So listen, this is the blue, this is the World Series, and this is, this is what happens.
I still have a massive amount of faith in the Dodgers, whether it's naivete or being a
homer or whatever.
It's probably a little bit of it, but that's, you know, that's why we have this show.
This is why we're both hosting a Dodger.
The show is called Dodgers territory.
If you guys are looking for something non-biased or what I'm like, like, I don't.
I mean, I'm giving a lot of credit.
Again, I didn't know anything about the Blue Jays.
They're in Toronto.
Toronto's cool.
Never been there.
If somebody wants to pay to fly me out there to get better culture.
It's a great city.
Toronto's a great city.
But inherently.
This boy from La Puente, California,
does not need to know shit about the Toronto Blue Jays
until my Dodgers face them.
And having faced them, having seen them in this series,
again, they are out playing the Dodgers.
And the Dodgers, something we've maintained a lot this postseason.
in here and then on my all Dodgers show.
One team that could really beat the Dodgers is the Dodgers.
And we're seeing that to a degree this point.
Well, and that's such a good point that you bring up.
No disrespect against the Blue Jays.
But the Dodgers are beating themselves.
The Dodgers are beating themselves by not capitalizing.
In some ways.
By not capitalizing, first of all, getting on base, moving a guy over, you know,
the big hit, runners in scoring position.
The bullpen is scuffling.
It is scuffled all year.
known this about the bullpen, right? This is like, and you and I discussed this yesterday.
Alex Vescia is, was really missed yesterday. He is. It is. You know, that's, that's a fact.
But again, I just looked at the chat. Canadians don't want me to go to Toronto. So I will not.
I will continue being an unproud American. I'll say this before we throw to another break.
and then we'll look ahead to game six with our backs against the wall.
I, having been here now a couple of days in this series,
kind of looking forward to this team getting out of L.A.
Sometimes it feels to me like they really,
the pressure gets to them playing in front of the home crowd.
Not always, not always,
but there are sometimes where they try to do a little too much
when they know that if they don't do something,
the crowd is going to be out of it.
And straight up.
I had a conversation with a couple of friends here who do very similar things to what you and I do on this show, on the internet.
And, you know, there's so many times between pitches, between innings, they're on the Jumbotron, screaming, Dodger fans, get loud.
I know you can be louder than that.
Oh, it's like you're not even trying, you know.
I don't think you should need to do that.
And maybe.
So are you calling out the fan?
Like what's the point?
I'm going out the band base a little bit.
I'm not there, so I don't know.
12, 12, 13 post seasons in a row, 13 years with going to the postseason in row, 12 of those,
being of the National League West Division clenching variety that've been to the World Series.
What is it?
17, 18, 20, 24, now 25, five times in those years.
I could understand maybe it losing.
some of the luster to some people.
Yeah. And maybe playing
on the road, having your backs, you know,
actually facing the wolves. Maybe
that that'll be better for the Dodgers. But
the real talk is here.
It's hard to win when your
offense is missing in action and your
bullpen has more gasoline
than fire extinguishers. That's just
that's a reality.
No, it's 100%
correct. I mean, you're right.
You're right. So how about we do
this? Let's take a moment to hear from our
Friends at Fowel Territory.
Then we will be back and we will talk about game six in Toronto on Halloween.

Dodgers Territory presented by Fox One.
By the way, if you guys are looking for a different way
to support the show outside of hitting that like button
and subscribing and rating and reviewing us on the podcast,
we do have a store set up.
There it is. Dodgers Territory Shop.com.
Scan that QR code.
The link is in description.
The Dodgers will win.
buy all of the stuff in the store.
All of it. All of it. Like, if you clear us out.
If you clear out the warehouse, we are guaranteed in the world.
I cannot, I cannot confirm that.
But, you know, if it doesn't work, blame Mark Weiner about that because why not?
So back in Toronto, game six, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who was nails in his game two start,
faces, I'm assuming Kevin Gosman again, who was also very good against the Dodgers in his game,
to start and the season is on the line for your boys in group what do you need to see out of the
dodgers i mean fire i need to see fire i need to feel i need to see like you're like this is it
this is your last game i mean if you can't get up for a game six in an elimination game i don't
know what you're doing you know what i mean so um i need to see balls to the wall i mean it's
johnny holstaff tomorrow it's or i'm sorry on friday it's not just yoshinobu yama
It's Johnny Holstaff.
Like the second he gets into trouble, you're moving on because this is it.
This is your 2025 season.
So that's what I need to see.
I need to see fire.
I need to see a fight.
I need to see guys giving a bazillion percent.
That's it.
Yeah.
Try not to do too much stay within yourself.
Find some grass or there.
Find some tourists.
No, I forget doing to you.
Forget staying within yourself.
Like, transform yourself into somebody that you're not.
I don't care.
Like, this is it.
You got one game.
We want to see this team ruined baseball.
I'd love to shut up a lot of these Toronto fans,
but also shout out Blue Jays fans.
They're the real deal.
There's any team that can bounce back
and win two games on the road.
It's the Dodgers.
I really do believe that.
Maybe, I'm not going to say,
that you have blind faith in this team,
but maybe you have a little bit of blind faith
and optimism in this team.
I think there are some holes.
I mean, yeah, but yeah, maybe I do.
But you know what? I'm okay with that.
Like I'm still a fan.
What am I supposed to say?
Oh, it's over?
Like, let's just forget.
Like, nobody even bother.
Don't clip this off because I'm sure this is, I'm sure this is what's going to get clipped.
It's over.
Don't even bother watching game six and seven.
Don't even bother.
Hashtag hashtag context right there.
I mean, you got so much shit last year when you, rightly so, said that the San Diego Padres were a better team at the time.
That was the biggest obstacle for the Dodgers last year,
and they almost lost in the DS to the Padres.
My God, it was game five, it wasn't, you know.
Yeah, but it's okay.
Like, it's fine.
You know what?
Because whatever happens, whether the Dodgers win or lose,
like the world is going to keep on spinning.
And it's going to be fine.
I know a lot of people, this is their end-all-be-all.
It's not my end-l-be-all anymore.
And that's okay.
Yeah.
It's okay.
But I still have an unbelievable amount of fate.
So yes, maybe it's blind faith, but I still believe that the Dodgers are the better team.
Blue Jays are good.
Yes, they're very, very good.
And they have shown that to the world now.
The, you know, for the Dodgers, dynasty talk is definitely on the line.
You got to win World Series to call it in any sort of dynasty.
I hope they don't think about that.
I hope they don't think about the job security of, you know, coaches and hitting coaches,
which I know people would love to talk more.
more about this being on hitting coaches when it's just, you know,
today was a bit of a buzzsaw in your Savage.
And also the Dodgers just generally, you know, not being great right now.
But let's, uh,
the J's are a very good team.
They're much better than a lot of people thought they were.
And they're, and they're proving it.
But you know what?
There's two games left.
And obviously Friday is a must win for the Dodgers.
And then it becomes a must one on Saturday.
And that's what you love about.
this sport. Don't you want the World Series to go to seven games? Don't you want it to mean something?
I don't know. I do. I think it's great. I think we're lucky to be witnessing this right now.
Yeah, I mean, maximizing the amount of baseball we get to see this year would be cool.
I would have felt better with the sweep or Dodgers in five or whatever. But, you know, that's
not how things turned out here. Getting into some of the superchats before we sign off,
Green sent us $1.99 said Alana isn't worried. Francisco, $4.99, a bit more worried, says it was
on her watching.
Yeah, he's like, Francisco's like, okay, bye.
He said cue the Titanic violin music, which is a great visual.
Francisco, you have been such an awesome support all year.
Thank you, buddy.
He also added, they looked dejected, no fight, no heart, sad to say.
I did look.
I agree with them.
I did look a little dejected tonight.
They did.
I was just like, why?
I mean, I'm watching it, obviously.
And I'm like, okay, so we're down to nothing before I even sat on the couch.
But I'm like, okay, like, why?
like why, I mean, even when later in the game when Tay Oscar got that single, it was kind of like, you know, normally they're like, but it was like, I'm like, you guys, my God, you're not down by 90 runs. Like, come on.
Yeah, they might have, they might have run out of the juice, you know, just long season. This season started.
Stop it. People are going to be. Stop it. Stop it of running out of the juice. If you can't get fired up in game five of the world.
series, then that's a whole other problem.
Riz, did you get fired up every single game of the postseason covering this team?
Yes.
Game five of a World Series?
Yes.
Well, fly your ass to Toronto and go fire up these boys.
I'm sorry, but like if you're like, if you're stretching for motivation or you're
stretching for like fire in game five of the World Series, then you should just like
turn in your card and go something.
I mean, that's ridiculous.
Yeah.
I really hope there is not a question of motivation in that clubhouse.
But definitely not an inspiring game today.
Ethan, 999, we owe Toronto an apology.
Our offense is arrogant and uninspired.
Going to go buy a new Blue Jays hat.
Maybe don't do that.
Go buy a Dodgers territory hat instead.
All right.
Yeah.
Dirty Dawn.
Yeah, Dirty Dawn.
What's up?
Sometimes I wonder out actual how Dodger fans are just Duma.
Also, her looks like, Mario.
Oh, holy crap.
I mean, either Dirty Don is drunk or I'm drunk reading this.
I can't quite understand.
But anyway, words are hard.
Thanks for the 499 Super Chat.
Fuzzy Balls, Super Chat, $5.
We appreciate you.
The game was last swing.
Kike, not Kiki, but Kikeke, hit that run to close it to 2 to 1.
Snell right away, gave that run.
You know what?
He has a really good point about this.
And I was like, okay, here we go.
So Kiki, obviously, with the solo shot.
But then right the next inning, it was like Dalton Varsho with the sack fly to get the run, to get it right back.
I was like, oh, mother.
Like, there is something to be said about shut down innings, right?
And we just didn't have many tonight.
And he's absolutely, he's absolutely right.
Like you're like, all right, we like pulled, you know, within one, Kike again, postseason monster, postseason hero.
And then a sack fly bullshit run that.
Well, I mean, that's also thanks to the Tay Oscar Hernandez's experience it.
Right.
You know, he had, what, two, three hits?
But also.
Display and right field.
All of it.
All of it.
So MH, Dodger for Life says, well, you could read it.
It's easier for you to read.
Alana, I hope you're right.
And they pull it off.
But Dodgers seem checked out or lost.
Dodgers hope they prove us doubters wrong.
Can Miracle be pulled off two games in Toronto?
Yes.
Hitting needs to navigate better.
Yeah.
you're right listen you guys are right like i understand they looked they looked flat they looked
uninspired the office is a bit crappy but what do you want me to do just be like fuck it like we're
just don't even bother watching game six and seven like i get it we did not look good tonight we didn't
but i'm not going to give up on this team what do you want me to do yeah um i i i think it's
refreshing um i've i've had uh other you know done shows with other people that that leaned into the dumer
I have a painfully positive co-host on my all Dodgers
and you, I think, are the perfect blend of keeping it positive,
but still being realistic here.
There's a chance of Dodgers.
Very good chance of Dodgers lose the series,
but there's still a lot of hope and there's still a lot of talent.
The Dodgers are still a very good baseball team.
They just got to win two games.
They've done that a number of times.
It was a three-game series.
They are down one, zero in that three-game series.
but to end it off, Kenyatta Savage with the $20 Super Chat.
Thank you very much.
As you guys make me feel better, just need to see some fight.
And I'm praying.
And you're not wrong.
Like, you're not wrong, Kenyatta Savage.
You're not wrong.
Like, I felt, and again, I'm not questioning their effort, but it's like optically,
it just looked like they seem defeated and already out of it and lost early, way too early in the game.
Like, if you need to be the beast, you need to be the beast, you need to be.
to show like we've got this no matter what like we are confident we are we know we're even if
they're not let's just assume they're not like we know we're the better team we've got this we
have all of all of these weapons all of this amazing talent we're at home we got our fans behind
us like we've got this like pretend it should have been better here make it till you make it I mean
they just they didn't seem happy or confident tonight and that's and that's a bummer yeah you you
You can't lose two of three at home, but they did, and they're going to need to prove to a lot of people.
Hopefully, for all of our sakes, Dodgers can shut up a lot of the Dumer's in the chat, can shut up all the Blue Jays fans in the chat,
and hopefully they can win these next two ball games at Roger Center in Toronto.
Tomorrow, Shoha Tani will be on a plane to Toronto, unless they're flying out tonight, which is there is a chance they might be doing.
My guess is tomorrow morning.
But they were doing that before, too.
They flew out and they would spend like a full day there.
Sure, sure, but maybe they change things up.
I don't know.
I mean, it is still early there.
It's like noon or noon.
It's midnight here, so it's nine at home.
Almost nine o'clock.
What a reasonable time I get to leave here.
Oh, never mind.
The, yeah.
Speaking of reasonable time.
So the game, there is no game tomorrow.
So Clint and I will be back normal time tomorrow.
So we will follow foul territory.
Fowel territory is one to three.
Clint and I will be back at three.
to 3.30 Eastern, so that's 12 to 1230 Pacific.
We'll talk about the preview of game six.
We'll have a lot more information.
We'll have both calm down.
Thank you guys for being here.
We appreciate you very much.
Don't forget to like, subscribe all of the things.
We're trying to get to 15,000 subscribers.
We're going to be back tomorrow, as we said.
Don't give up hope, you guys.
Just don't.
I'd rather be positive.
What's the point?
Like, what's the point of not being positive?
Okay?
At least we have a team that we care about that wins a ton.
Imagine being a pirate friend.
All right.
And on that note, Clint drive home safely.
And we will see you guys tomorrow.
Go Dodgers.
Bye.
