Welcome to the Boys and Girls podcast.
Arranged Marriage is basically a reality show
and you're auditioning for your soulmate.
And who's judging?
Only your entire family?
I sacrificed myself to this ancient tradition,
hoping to find love the right way.
And instead, I found chaos, comedy and a lot of cringe.

We're going to be joined by James Shiano of Mets Up podcast. We're going to be doing a little bit of
a crossover today talking Mets, talking Dodgers. But before we welcome in James, let's get to the big
ticket. Let's do it. All right, a pivotal game three. The Dodgers taking a two to one lead,
thanks to a variety of factors. Let's start with that day's starting pitcher. And that was Walker Fn. Bueller,
Clint, four innings of shutout baseball. He shoved. He had the moxie. He had the confidence.
And he had the stuff. What's your biggest impression of his outing last night?
I mean, Walker Bueller, I said it on my stream last night. He rewarded the faithful, the people that retained faith in him throughout a very, very, very
tough season. He had it. Yeah, you know what? This isn't, this isn't, you know, old school baseball.
He's not going out there shoving for, for 10 innings or seven innings or even five. He gave you
four extremely strong innings, kept your team in the game, which is what you need,
which you need out of this situation in a cold New York City and a hostile environment,
maybe not as hostile as San Diego, but you can't ask for much more from Walker Bueller there.
you know, the tenacity, the stuff.
He talked about how much his stuff was moving in there.
He looked filthy and he set the tone,
what you needed to do in game three.
You would ask me on our game two post game show.
You would ask, was this a must win?
I was kind of indifferent on it at the time.
But yeah, no, it proved to be a must win and the Dodgers won.
Well, I tell you what.
He did say that he loved pitching in the cold weather.
He mentioned the weather.
He mentioned the win.
He mentioned the movement.
And under this current 232 format, Clint,
teams breaking a 1-1 tie by winning game three on the road go on to win it 75% of the time.
So I'm loving that stat.
I mean, Bueller had traffic, but he put up zeros when he needed to put up zeros.
He struck out Francisco Indore with the curveball.
Again, let's talk about that before.
You would have seen a lot of fastballs from UT, right?
But he has adjusted and grown as a pitcher and realized maybe the fastball's not his out pitch anymore.
And he's adjusted and it was rewarded.
Yeah, I love the, what am I looking for here?
The honesty from Walker Bueller there.
Like, he's not that guy anymore.
And it took him the better part of the 2024 season, you know,
his little brief time away from the team on his sabbatical or whatever it is,
trying to relearn how to pitch or learn how to pitch with the stuff he had.
But it took him all of that time.
We went through all of these months with him piecing together who he is today.
and we saw the culmination of that in game three.
And don't forget before that, Alvarez was on base with or up to plate.
Bases loaded, one out, gets that K or the pop up or whatever it was, gets that out.
And then to get Lindor, you know, one of the best players in baseball,
one of the best players out here during, you know, this postseason to get him there on not his bread and butter.
It was impressive stuff.
And credit to Will Smith, if he's not hitting, at least he's putting down the right fingers.
as Dave has given him credit.
Walker gave Will Smith a ton of credit as well.
And yeah, I just love seeing what we're seeing out of Walker Bueller,
who could be in line to start a game seven or maybe a game one of a World Series.
You know what?
Maybe, maybe, maybe it doesn't even have to go to game seven.
We can hope and dream.
Let's give flowers to Kike Hernandez.
I've been shouting this from the rooftops for anybody that is willing to listen to me,
that Kike Hernandez, no disrespect to Reggie Jackson,
and no disrespect to stars in the past.
Kike Hernandez is Mr. October for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He now has the fourth highest OPS in postseason history.
I have to say that that's a massive deal.
Kike just is a different dude when the calendar turns to October.
Kike Hernandez, you know, people who watch this show this year,
watch me this year, they know I have an interesting relationship with Gets,
And all of the stuff that, you know, the years of Gavin Lux's kind of, you know, maybe his, his, his, his character or whatever it may be, not character, but he, he plays a character. Sometimes, you know, injury, sometimes didn't, didn't show up when you needed him. But, you know, you stick with him. And he'll, he'll reward you. It's kind of what I'm getting to here. With, with, with, with, with, with, with Kike Hernandez, it's every bit of a reward.
What you're seeing out of Kiki, one of the best players ever in postseason history.
His name is scattered all over the Dodgers postseason record books.
He just steps up when this team needs him the most, when the lights are the brightest,
when the crowd is the angriest or the happiest.
Kike gives you what the F you need and a little hip thrust while you're at it.
It's not just the Dodgers record books that he's in there.
Listen, I told you, I don't care if Kike doesn't get.
a hit in the regular season. Keep them on the roster for postseason. I honestly, like everyone's like,
why can't he transform that into the regular season? I don't need it. The Dodgers are always going to
get into the postseason. We're fortunate enough to have a team that is that good. We're fortunate
enough to have a front office that will always put a winning product on the field. So I don't worry
about them getting into the postseason. Kike needs to be on the postseason roster. It's not about
what you do in the regular season for him. There's just, you know, there's different like Nick Castellanos,
of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Like he's even said like games like this is what I get up for.
Like it's hard to get up for a game in Cincinnati on a Tuesday in May.
Okay.
I understand that they all count the same,
but it's just a different time of year.
And it's not just the Dodgers history record books that he's in.
It's just the game.
You have a conversation with Ken Rosenthal who had an article that he wrote today.
And I had a conversation with him on Fair Territory today that he's kind of comparing Kike Hernandez
to the right-handed David Ortiz.
I'm not saying that Kike is a Hall of Famer and either is Ken.
But the point is what he does in the postseason is very big poppy like as far as the numbers are concerned.
Same thing with Aaron Judge Clint.
He has identical plate appearances, 224 played appearances in the postseason.
So does Judge.
Kike's numbers favor Kike in terms of home run, RBI, and OPS in the postseason.
Better than Judge.
And Judge is probably going to be a Hall of Famer because of his whole body of work.
So good for Kike Hernandez.
We're going to be joined in just a moment by James Shiano of the Mets Up podcast.
That is very hard for me to say.
I keep wanting to say messed up podcasts.
It's Mets Up Podcasts.

I think coming out of where I came from, I'm from the Bronx,
I think I grew up really poor.
I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life.

Before we get to James, though, let's give some flowers to Max Muncie.
Clint eight straight plate appearances.
He's gotten on base.
Max has been really, really fun to watch in this series in particular.
He identified he was getting really long with the swing, getting big,
letting, trying to force moments.
And what he said after game one where, let's be honest, after that game one,
he had the two run single in the first inning, just kept it short, found some grass.
That's not, that's not Kike, or sorry, that's not the max we've seen in recent vintage.
He's selling out.
He wants the bomb out there.
He is just trying to keep it short, keep it simple, and let the game come to him.
And if you have that version of Max while, you know, Teoska Hernandez is kind of a little bit on the Schneide at the moment,
you're not going to have everybody clicking on all cylinders.
But if you have more of those guys, four or five of those guys doing something special and Max,
along with, you know, Tommy Edmund, what he's done.
How good of a pickup is Tommy Edmund, by the way?
all of those things equal the type of run production,
the type of series we've seen so far from the Dodgers where,
yeah,
the Mets were very,
very good in game two.
But,
you know,
I said after game one,
this Dodgers team might just be too much for the Mets.
And we'll get some more Mets thoughts here as we welcome in.
James Shiano of that Mets dot podcast.
And I believe everybody can hear him.
And we're going to feel good.
How you doing there, James?
I'm good, guys.
How you doing it?
It sounds like you're doing pretty good.
Caught the last five minutes.
Very happy Dodger World right now, huh?
Yeah, James, it's great to be with you.
And congratulations on the Mets Up podcast, joining the Fowl Territory family.
We are so very happy that you guys are here.
It's great to have you with us.
I tell you what, if there's one thing I've learned about the Mets this season,
if this is a team, James, that if they get punched, they get up and they get, you know,
they punch right back.
What is the level of concern, panic, no concern for your Mets fan base right now in your
estimation. Definitely not panic. I think there is some ample concern and most of that concern
has to come from the production of this Mets lineup right now, especially the lack thereof from
the bottom of the order in the last week or so of games since game four against the Phillies.
It's very dramatic win for the Mets. We've scored 11 total runs. Eight of those 11 runs have come
via two grand slams. And that's just not sustainable office going to be able to carry you through
a seven-game playoff series against a team like the Dodgers. So the concern would right now just be
the fact that someone has to step up besides Lendor Vieto Salonzo right now.
This team really wants to get through this little skid.
But again, like you said, like all this team does get punch in the face and get backs up
and throws a counter punch.
And you could feel almost, I don't even know how to describe it, like a frustrating
positivity from this team and their media availability, both after the game today and so
far this morning where you're like, yeah, guys, we know, like we're ready to go.
Like, I just want to see you go.
And it was so hard to be at that game last night.
I was there in all of its glory just to see that little rally you guys had early.
The Mets almost respond in the bottom of that second inning.
And then the whole crowd getting sucked right out and never having a moment to kind of jump back in and find a place, find a spot to get some momentum back on our side.
Yeah, I mean, that that strikeout, that's not a strikeout that Walker Bueller gets a month ago, two months ago.
And we know how impressive, how important Francisco Lindor has been to this team.
He was a catalyst in game two.
And we're seeing, you know, we're seeing the stars show up in this, in this series so far.
If the stars kind of go, that team seems to win.
Lindor was the guy who put the team on the, you know, emotionally put the team on his back in game two.
Is everything kind of running through, you know, when you're talking about the Mets Clubhouse, all of the vibes there?
Is it running through Lindor?
And if he doesn't go, they don't go?
I think emotionally, I agree with you, is running through Lindor, but it's more than about if he
doesn't go, they don't go. He had the biggest opportunity to make things go in that game too,
where after getting smacked around in game one, he steps up, first battle of the game,
has a seven pitch at bat against Ryan Brazier, bang, home run, right field seat. And there was
like an exhale, like, okay, we're here, we belong here. Like, we can gather ourselves again
this spot because before game one of this Dodgers series, this Mets team didn't have a chance
to breathe in what felt like a month. Like they only had, I think it was two total off days
since that faithful double heather against the Braves until that game one against the Dodgers
before the off days we had in between games four, the Philly and game one.
So a lot of it comes on to him, but there's also added pressure on Lendor and also Vientos right
now because the player he's become, just because, again, the bomb of this order has given nothing.
J.D. Martinez, for about two months now, has been swinging an absolute pool noodle out there.
Carlson-Mdoza keeps going back to Jose Iglesias.
As amazing as he's been this year, the cold streak that all Mets fans have been dreading from
a guy like Iglesias has come at the worst possible time.
Jeff McNeil just came back from injury, and it's kind of unclear how much he's able to give
based on the fact he hasn't started the game yet.
And Francisco Alvarez, to strikeout that prelude the Francisco Lindor strikeout for
Walker Bielke that second inning, he's taking some of the worst at bats I've ever seen
him take in his entire young career.
So just that combination of once you guys get through the top five of this order,
they're not really being much chance for anything to happen, especially with Jesse Winkar,
not in the lineup.
That's where a lot more pressure, I think, is put on Francisco Lendor's shoulders.
To get a two-out hit with a base is loaded, what all Francisco Alvers need to do is
hit the fly ball.
You could feel a lot better about this game early on.
my site. We're talking with James Shiano of the Mets Up podcast here on Dodgers territory. Obviously,
game four of the NLCS tonight at City Field. And if Shohei Otani, James, was not having the
regular season that he had, Francisco Indoor would be the National League MVP. I don't think anybody
can argue that. But the fact that Francisco was snubbed from an all-star appearance and a gold
glove finalist, something is wrong with that pitcher. In my estimation, Juan Soto has no
business being a finalist for the gold glove and francisco lindore should have been what gives
there's no real explanation for that by any defensive metric you look at if you wanted to go an oaa
on baseball's va if you want to look at d rs and defensive run value on fangrath if you even want to
just use your eye test and watch these games day and day out francisco lindore is one of if not one of
the short stops best defensive players in all baseball so for him to get snub for this award for the fourth
straight year that he's been a met not make an all-star team still has it met it doesn't really make any sense
I understand the All-Star thing a little bit because his April and half of May were very bad.
And they kind of turned some Mets fans off for getting out, stuffing a ballot box and voting him into the game.
Major League Baseball had a chance to give him a spot, but they gave it to Pete Alonzo instead.
People say because of some home run derby stuff, whatever you may see there.
The Gold Glove is voted on by coaches and managers.
I don't understand how other coaches can watch for his school and door play shortstop
and not think he's one of the three best in the league.
So maybe that's a little bit extra motivation.
But again, I think he's so laser focused on getting his team where they need to be that.
is not going to affect him.
The irony is the sick twisted irony for a Mets perspective
is our only gold glove nominee was Louisa Verino.
And your guy's first two runs of the game came on balls
that bounced off of his hands in the cold New York night.
So watching that game with my dad, he's like mothering to himself,
oh, there's a gold glove candidate, huh?
There's a gold glove guy, huh?
And I'm like, yeah, that's what they said.
I don't know what to tell you right now.
But that was just a little twist of the knife
during the game last night for the gold glove.
I think watching a MET fan with,
or watching a MET game,
postseason game with a MET fan would be an absolute blast,
just to like listen to you guys.
talk before i let clint ask you a question i just wanted to follow up on the uh the situation with the
gold glove because it is it's a manager and six coaches uh it's 75 percent of the vote and then the
other 25 percent is like a defensive metric cocktail well let me tell you something that cocktail is
broken if francisco lindor uh doesn't get a gold glove all right clint go ahead my friend
just say and juan soto is getting nominated let's throw that out there for fun
sorry new york fans or met our yankees fans and also sorry uh derrick
Levindowski. But let's let's look more at this series. Important bounce back game for your Mets tonight.
What's kind of the pulse you're seeing there? You said it was sort of downtrodden there in, you know,
post game. I'm assuming, you know, pregame scrum, not the happiest as well. What's going to take
to get these boys back out, your boys back on track? It's going to take a big ever from the offense.
We're going to go up against Yamamoto, who I think objectively, I'm not sure you guys view,
but I think in a pure vacuum, he might be your most talented starting pitch.
or maybe not the guy pitching the best because we just saw flare the and walker bula do these
two of these first three games but this is someone that the met's have have seen once this year and
hit him really well and they saw him that was a long time ago though in a lifetime ago for the
met's and the dodgers especially so it's just really about getting to him and scoring some runs
like i think the met's pitching has been good enough in a few of these games to win the kose sang
thing game one that was bizarre we know what's going to happen but cosay kentana i i have no
choice but to trust him he's been our best big game pitcher through this postseason twice our season's
been in the line with Jose Gantana on the mound, and both times, Jose Gantana has come through
in the clutch for us. So I have no choice but to go blindly back into that fire with him.
It's about the top of this order being able to start something, the bottom of the other,
being able to finish it. I am a little bit concerned about some of the language, Carl's Mendoza
and some Mets people have been using today really, really zeroing in on what they're calling
reverse splits for Yamamoto, just because he has that great splitter and that great
curveball. But I think the reverse split might wrongfully be superseding the fact that there
could be better hitters on the Mets bench and Jesse Winker.
possibly Jeff McNeil than someone in J.D. Martinez who looks like he's going to get another shot
where he's hit. He has one extra base hit in his last 20 games played. I just don't know where
that that oomph is coming from from JD right now. One last thing to add on Yamamoto. We did see his
best start as a big leagher happened in New York against the Mets. Walker Bueller last night talked about
the movement on his pitches being so much different there at City Field. That's what you got that
nasty version of him. Maybe Yamamoto the same thing. That splitter could be nasty. And I'm sure Dodger
fans are really hoping for that version of Yama tonight. But Alana, go ahead.
No, I think that's what I needed to see. That's what I needed to see. I needed to see
Yamamoto pitch against the Mets like we saw him pitch against the Yankees at the Bronx.
If you can get that type of outing, then that's, that's impressive. All right, let me ask you
your opinion, James, on this. A lot of folks were questioning why Carlos Vendoza elected to go
with Severino instead of Kentana in game three. Your whole thought process of the order of this,
I am with you. I think Kentana is your best starting pitcher. Just the thought process of the order
in the NLCS for your starting staff. I think it's similar to what I was saying about Yomoto
compared to the Dodgers staff. In a vacuum, based on the body of work Severino's put in this year,
the fact that he can gas you up to 97, 98, 99 miles an hour. And his stuff did look good last night,
too. He just still hasn't been able to find that exact put-away pitch. I think that they've been
keeping this exact same structure of this rotation throughout all three playoff series. I think there was
something to Carlos Mendoza and the Mets wanting to keep the same guys.
That did limit possible if we were ever to get there, Jose Katana appearing in
game seven, more so than relief roll.
But there's almost like this idea of dance with the one that brung you.
Severino has been a guy who threw this entire season, has been start after start,
more reliable than Katana.
Maybe that bites us in the butt.
Maybe we see how that actually lines up tonight.
Exceptorino, again, he pitched well enough to give his team a chance to win that
game yesterday.
Walker Bueh was a little bit better, but at the end of the day, if there was
nowhere and runs on either side.
And the errors were Severinos and Severinos alone.
So there was still a chance for the him to match four or five shutout frames
and Walker Bueller if they had to.
But it's, I trust, I go, I'm having this, this battle in my mind right now where I don't
want to doubt anything Carl Sandoz is doing or any decisions he's making because
his hand has been so hot.
This whole post season has always been on the pulse.
But the continued loyalty to JD Martinez is something that I still can't really find
any shred of logic to wrap my mind around, something I really.
really hope doesn't, doesn't do this team in tonight.

Hey, the last time the Dodgers gave up on their loyalty to J.D. Martinez, they went out
and got Shohei.
So maybe that offseason.
Oh, wait a second.
For the Mets.
I'll go somewhat morbid, somewhat.
I'm assuming where Mets fans do not want to go yet,
but the reality is two wins away, sorry,
two losses away from a defeat of a season,
but still got a lot further than you anticipated,
especially after last year the fire sale.
Every piece must go when you're looking at Scherzer.
You're looking at Verlander.
Is there, can you still hang your hat on this season as a Mets fan?
knowing like you got a lot further.
And not to say, I said it after game one.
I'll say it after game two and I'll probably say it after tonight.
Mets's a very, very good ball club.
They got some good pieces there, some good vibes.
But did this kind of happen sooner?
Getting here happened sooner than anticipated.
Luckily for us, the season is still going on.
We can win three games and get back to the World Series.
But I'll take any of his patronization right here.
But I think that there is this weird dichotomy happening,
at least for me and probably other Mets fans right now where, sure,
this is a season where we exceeded expectations.
We kind of went to the season hoping to hang around 500
and see if we can seek in the playoffs and make some noise.
We did that.
We wound up almost winning 90 games.
We did sneak in the playoffs.
Now we have fully made some noise.
But that becomes an issue where, let's say,
the rest of the weekend doesn't go the way I hope.
I don't think you'll ever get me to say that this season was this incredible triumph,
at least next week or even the week after that.
Maybe if I take a deep breath when the winter meetings roll around November,
they'll be like, okay, you know what?
That whole thing together was great.
But I have taste of the forbidden fruit.
And I like how it tastes.
The juices are dripping down.
You're dripping down my chin right now.
And I would really like to keep this going, keep alive on this,
especially when the other two teams that could win a world series,
the Dodgers of the Yankees, two teams that not only me,
but probably a lot of my fellow baseball fans do not want to see Hoyst that trophy at the end of the year.
If we could be the ones that stop it, that makes this whole thing that much sweeter.
But to get to the final four and say that a season is a success when you get that close to the end,
it's hard right now.
And again, it's not over yet.
But that's something that we would have to reflect on later on.
James, how much.
value do you put or how much stock do you put in the fact that your Mets have not lost consecutive
games at any point so far in the postseason and they also haven't lost consecutive games at
City Field since July 31st and then again August August 13th so this is a team that they may lose
but they don't lose a lot in a row luckily for me I was waiting for you to bring it up because I
don't want to be the one that said that I don't want to bring that up I don't want to put any of this
bad juju into the world Mets fans I think more so than any fan base maybe in sports are exceedingly
superstitious, unlike Michael Scott's saying a little superstitious.
We're super superstitious, but it's possible.
Like, this team has such a resiliency to them.
They do not quit.
They do not die.
And I know I'm giving a lot of shame right now to the bomb this order, but there's so many guys in this team that found a way to be clutched when they had to go and go and got tough.
The counterpunch that we got in Milwaukee a week and a half ago, feels like a lifetime ago now.
When Sal Freelick and Jackson Trujillo hit home runs in the ninth inning or the eighth inning to take a lead in that game, that felt like a nail in the coffin.
And when the Phillies had their walkoff win two Sundays ago,
that felt like one we weren't going to be able to come back from.
When you guys trounced us in game one of this series,
got all over code that saying.
You couldn't find the strikes on it.
We couldn't scratch a run across.
It felt like the end then too.
But I mean, yeah, that one didn't feel like the end.
That one I was, I think I was more confident and positive than most Mets fans.
Yeah, there's my stat right there.
That was game four.
Sadly had a typo in the ballpark.
I was just reeling and the head was spinning.
But there's just, they have to be able to hit.
And every time this team looks like they've gone through a skid with the lineup,
someone's gotten a big hit.
someone's found a way to come alive.
Maybe they just need another grand slam tonight.
Like Alvarez-Lendor had a chance for the grand slams last night.
Forget one of those grand slams.
You can't bank on a grand slam to win every postseason game,
but someone just has to get that big hit.
And I know this is a stupid stat because the Mets have been shut out in two
to three games, but both whoever's hit the most home runs
and whoever has scored first has won these games.
So it's very big for the Mets to get out to a fast start,
keep Shohei Mookin Freeman off the board in the first inning
and manufacture runs from the top of the other.
I need that so badly.
and that's all to be open for when this game starts tonight.
Well, I tell you what, it has been boom or bust offense on both sides.
Both clubs have been that way in the first three games of the series.
James, we certainly hope that you were wrong on everything.
We hope that we are right on everything.
We wish you the best of luck, my friend.
Again, welcome to the Fowl Territory family,
and you can catch James on Mets Up podcast on YouTube and wherever you get your podcast.
Thanks so much.
We'll talk soon.
Thank you guys a lot, Clint and Alana.
Thank you so much.
Happy to be here.
Appreciate you, James.
Hey, Alano, why don't we get ourselves into last legs?
Let's do it.
All right, guys, as always, we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to talk about a pup in need.
This is Bueno.
He is one years old.
He is 11 pounds.
He is really good with, or do we not have Buono?
That's all right.
That's the one thing I messed up on.
I apologize.
That's okay.
I'll tell you about Bueno and I'll post him on social.
Don't worry.
He's one years old.
He's 11 pounds.
He is neutered.
He is vaccinated.
He is great with other dogs.
He is great with kids.
He is a terrier that has wiry fur that does not shed.
He is in desperate need of a new home.
Right now, he's in San Pedro, California.
So again, I'll put it on our socials.
Adopt, Bueno.
He's a very, Bueno actually means good in Spanish.
He is a very good dog, so we'll get that posted.
All right, baseball thought for the road, Clint Paseas.
How about this?
Today, 20 years ago today, Dave Roberts as a member of the Boston Red Sox,
stole that very, very important base.
They went on to win the World Series, of course, in 2004, the O-4 champs.
How does Dave Roberts, everybody listen and watch, I'm putting this in quotes, steal the game
tonight.
He's hit all the right buttons so far this postseason.
Yeah, listen, as much as I was calling for Dave's head after game two, game three of the
NLDS, I even said then this has been his arguably his most impressive postseason as the manager
of the Dodgers. He's pulling all the right levers.
Nine years of trials
and errors and pain and suffering, got him to this point
where I find me a better
manager in baseball than David Fenn Roberts.
I don't even know if he goes by fully Dave, but
just let your boys go out there and keep doing the thing.
You know, that's what I'm going with. Let them keep doing their thing.
Cho Hey, he's got a taste for the NLCS now.
Got that big time Homer last night.
You know, have your faith in Yamamoto, but know when to go to the bullpen.
I think that's the biggest thing.
No one when to go to the bullpen.
We're seeing Kopec early in games.
We're seeing trying in early in games.
We're seeing big pieces.
And you have some guys rested.
A good friend of mine, Alonarizzo said recently, you know, you got to shove that hose down their throat.
Keep, keep drowning him.
Do not let off.
You got to win this game.
And let's not even go.
Let's not bring the series back home to LA in search of needing one more win.
Let's go back home where they could rest.
Freddy's ankle can get better.
Maybe Miggy Rose, you know, hip can get better.
And he's an option to be in that World Series roster or whatever.
But you're in a really, really good spot as Los Angeles Dodgers.
I agree with you.
I would love it if they could have a couple of days, but I don't want too many days off.
I don't want too much of a layoff.
And I don't want the, I don't want the lineup to be shifted.
If Miggy is good enough to go, Maggie can come off the bench.
I don't want Maggie starting.
I want Kike starting.
I don't want Tommy Edmund out of the lineup.
Don't mess with it.
This has worked.
And I love Miguel Rojas, okay?
But this is working.
Kike is working in this lineup.
Okay.
So let's take care of business tonight.
And speaking tonight of tonight, don't forget, you guys, we have a post game show tonight after the game.
So come and join Clint and I again for the Dodgers post game show.
But prior to that, you have all Dodgers with Clint Paseas.
So what's coming up on your show?
Are you flipping it?
What are we doing?
We're going to do post-game show here on DT.
Then I'm going to do a post-post-game show.
We'll have a party, birthday party here.

And it's been a while since I've been able to talk Dodger baseball deep on my birthday.
Yes.
And on my birthday.
So we're going all out tonight.
Guys, too, been here right after the Dodgers win, right after Yamamoto picks up that victory over Jose
Kintana and the Mets.
And then again, we'll be on my channel afterwards.
