Starting point is 00:01:46 I love that. I mean, this is the guy that is the face of the game. And welcome to a live edition of Dodgers territory. I do not mind Mondays because that means that we are back with you on a fresh episode. Clint Paseas is back from camping. I'm Lana Rizzo, we're going to be with you the next half an hour talking all things Dodgers.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Thanks you guys for being here. We love the support. We love our viewers. We love our listeners. Rate us five stars if you can, right? We're trying to get to 10,000 subs. And we can only do that if you help us out. So make sure you rate us, like us, subscribe all of the things to Dodgers territory.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Clint, I said the last time we were together that I expected a three game advantage over the diamond back. So I wanted to take three out of four. It didn't happen. They split the series. But overall, my friend, let's get to the big ticket talking about a six and four road trip. Yeah, six and four. That's what you want to see. The Dodgers take, oh, it's not what you want to see.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Oh, you want to see that on the road trip. You don't want to see a series split with the Diamondbacks. I guess you take it. You take what you can get coming out of there, mostly healthy. But yeah, they finish the longest road trip of the season. 10 game road trip. I think later on there's a nine-game road trip or whatever, but 10-game road trip, the top of the order,
Starting point is 00:03:10 doing special things as they love to do. But listen, you had the fun of Shohay Otani. I'm all over the place with this because it was such a fun, like catching up. Are you just broke? I'm all over the place with this because, again, I was away. So I'm watching this and the highlights version of it, the condensed version of these games. and it was really, really fun to see the way the Dodgers sucked,
Starting point is 00:03:40 and then we're really good, arguably the best game of the year, early candidate for greatest game of the year. But, yeah, I don't know, man. I'm just, I'm excited to get past, get the Dodgers home, get past the long-ass road trip. You had some good starts in there. And again, the top of the order, as we saw in the tweet, very, very good with Mookie, with Shoheyotani,
Starting point is 00:04:03 with Freddie Freeman. I do want to talk more about them, but all three of those dudes each had seven hits in the series. You got Michael Conforto, Max, Muncie coming out to Schneide a little bit. It had everything. It had everything.
Starting point is 00:04:15 You speak now. Yeah, we will talk about MVPs, doing MVP type of things coming up. We're going to break down what Mukhi and Shohei did. We're also going to talk about some of the surprises, in your opinion,
Starting point is 00:04:26 the shockers, if you will, of the series. But let's start talking a little bit about the fact that pretty decent starts from Dustin May and Tony Gonsillon, not so great starts from Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki. And I want to focus in on those two first, because this was the first time, Clint, that they had gone on what they consider to be short rest, right? Normally, they go once a week, but because of everything going on with Blake Snell and Tyler Glassnow and Kershaw working his way back and all of the things, they had to go on their
Starting point is 00:04:57 turn on short rest. Now, think about this for a second. These guys, I would imagine, are pretty routine oriented folks, right? I'm a very routine oriented person, right? I have trouble with the curve. And what I mean by that is if I have something, my day is planned out, right? Like I'm pretty OCD, pretty anal in terms of how I go about things. If all of a sudden somebody says, oh, we have a, you know, can you jump on this call really quick? I know we were going to do the call tomorrow, but I need you on the call today. That kind of throws me for a loop because I tend to be very organized and very deliberate in how I go about it. So I'm wondering if this is, is more of a routine-oriented situation with these guys and how much that affects them mentally
Starting point is 00:05:37 when they're not prepared really. Not saying that there's lack of preparation in terms of them getting ready, but this is something new, is my point. And baseball players are so routine-oriented and so superstitious, if you will. How much do you think that's a factor in the results that Yamamoto and Sasaki had? You'd have to argue it's at least a small factor for the both of them. obviously they had been pitching on Fridays and Saturdays. You know, for every Friday this season had been Yama Day. Every Saturday had been Sasaki Day. So to get back onto a regular normal old school type five-day rotation, I'm sure threw them off a little bit, but also, you know, facing new competition.
Starting point is 00:06:20 You have, well, new to them this season at least, the Diamondbacks want to beat their big brother or whatever it is when the Dodgers come into town. As Mookie told us last year, every, you know, team, when we play them, it's their world. Series. So they had, I mean, you saw it too, Kattel Marte. You know, he had the biggest, like, I mean, he's swinging out of his damn shoes. Of course, Lordus Gouriel for, for his game tying Grand Slam and that insane Friday game, you know, he thought he would have walked off a World Series there, pulling a Joe Carter on him or something like that. So I think it's a combination. I do think there's a, there's at least a small factor, though, for Yama and Sasaki being a little off their rhythm. But also more so for Yama, maybe getting sucker punched a little bit while at the
Starting point is 00:07:07 same time, just not being as crisp as he has been. And oh, no, you know, there goes my, my Sanyang front runner, his ERA ballooned all the way up to 1.8. What are we going to? We will. We might want to, yeah, we might want to DFA that guy. I mean, he's still, he's under one and a half now, not under one. I don't know what we're going to do with him. But I want to go back to that Friday night game. A couple of things that stood out as far as that. And yeah, you know what? I don't mind that Yuleiguel was doing all this. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Like that's all. Make baseball fun. That's fun. That's exciting. I don't mind that at all. But this is something that I saw when Shohei Otani had his home run. You never would have seen this personality when show hey was in Anna. Look at that.
Starting point is 00:07:50 I love that. I mean, this is the guy that is the face of the game. He comes up in the biggest moments. We don't talk enough about how good Shohei Otani is clean. and the personality coming out. I love it. You never would have seen that three years ago. Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:08:08 This is not. I mean, I think generally people in Anaheim just aren't happy people. Why would you be happy in Anaheim? But this is a dude. He's a World Series champion now. This team relies on him, but it's not just him. And he also, I mean, you watch him. You see the different character since he's come to L.A.
Starting point is 00:08:24 And more so since the dismissal of Ipe Mizuhara in his every waking moment of his life, he's happy. He is enjoying himself. He is a 30-year-old dude playing a kids game like a child, and he's having fun, and he really enjoyed the hell out of that homer. And it was a big homer. I mean, after the back and forth of that game, by the way, how about this? Talk about a roller coaster for our friend, Sarah Lang's there more your friend than mine. I've not met her. But still, a lot of up and down in that game. Nothing, multiple lead changes and all of this kind of stuff to eventually. end up with that eventual, you know, go ahead game winning Homer. Shell felt real, real damn good about himself and props to him.
Starting point is 00:09:09 I mean, I can only imagine what that feels like. I can only imagine what it feels like hitting a home run in the show, let alone, a home run of that magnitude in a series against your divisional foes. You're trying to see how we measure up against these guys. Again, the schedule has not been, it's been weird, right? I mean, just to finally see the Diamondbacks here in May, we don't even get to see the Padres until June. I mean, the schedule's been really, really quirky.
Starting point is 00:09:34 So these games mean more, right? The first order of business is to win the division, right? And now you're starting to get into the series in which you're allowed to do those things. So I'm not psyched about a split, but I do remember that we were on the road. You know, I of course wanted three out of four. I would, of course, love to go 10 and 0 on the road trip. But we're also bitching, Clint. This is what's so funny.
Starting point is 00:09:51 We're also complaining about a first place team. We're also poking holes at a team that has the best winning percentage and the best record, not just in the National League, but in all of baseball. So, I mean, again, we're being a little critical on a team that is doing exactly what they need to be doing. Season ends today. They win the division and they're heading to the postseason. Obviously, we're almost at the quarter pull of the year. We'll get into that more on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:10:18 But I'm not mad at this club for any of this. We're going to talk a lot more about it. But I mean, whatever, I'll take it. To add one thing to that, again, we said at the top, they went six and three. for on a 10-game road trip, three-city road trip. It felt like they played generally poorly, but it speaks to the strength of this ball club. And really, like you're saying, the insane expectations we have as fans, you take winning six of ten ball games on the road, literally any goddamn time.
Starting point is 00:10:47 So that's what you got. And by the way, like you said, best record in baseball. They're doing it. 13 games over 500, doing it without Blake Snell. Without Tyler Glasnell. We'll talk more about them in a minute. Teosker Hernandez is the sideline. Edmunds side. It's crazy to think how good this ball club could be when they're actually
Starting point is 00:11:04 firing on all cylinders and fully healthy. Yeah, no doubt about that. Still more to come from this road trip. We're going to talk about again, those MVPs that we have at the top of the order one, two, three. But first, let's hear from our friends at Bell Territory. This is a straightforward show, so I'm going to be very straightforward with everyone about PXG. Fastest way to improve your performance on the golf course is to get yourself a PXG. golf fitting. Go in there and let the experts help you. I've been using PXG for a few years now, Scotty.
Starting point is 00:11:36 They are perfect. I love the way they feel. They fit them perfectly to my swing. They weighed at them. They put grips in them. They put shafts in them. They use their heads and they fit my swing beautifully. They have definitely improved my game.
Starting point is 00:11:47 They just recently hooked me up with their new Allen putter, which is off the chain. I was draining putts the other day, left and right. So I definitely say, go get your fitting at PXG. Nobody goes golf the way. PXG does. Yes, and for a limited time, you could save up to 20% on your entire order. Head over to pxg.com slash foul. That's pxg.com slash fow-UL to save up to 20% on your entire order. PXG.com slash foul restrictions apply. See site for details.

Big thank you to the people who support the show and you guys supporting us here on Dodger territory, watching us, subscribing, doing all that kind of stuff, liking, reviewing the podcast,
Starting point is 00:12:57 yada, yada. But you said we're going to about MVP's and I said earlier each of the three MVP's at the top the MVP, the MVP, if you will, each had seven hits in the series, Freddie, three doubles, a Homer, four runs batted in, four runs scored. Mooki had a Homer, two runs batted in, four runs scored, Shohei Otani, of course, the star of the show, seven hits, two doubles, two homers, six RBI, four run scores. Like you said, it feels like we don't talk enough about Shohei Otani in this show. It also feels like we don't talk enough about Freddie Freeman, who is having arguably the best season of his career in a Dodger uniform here.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Look at these numbers. Yeah, it's insane. Freddie Freeman, who still gets treatment, if I could read, it would be helpful, who still gets treatment on his surgically repaired right angle for one and a half hours before every game, hoping he can finally get healthy by the All-Star break, went four for four with two dubs and a home run. He is hitting 376 with a 1171 OPS. So his OPS over a thousand topped only by American League MVP Aaron Judge. This guy is ridiculous. And you know what's insane, by the way, and I don't need to know how to read for this.
Starting point is 00:14:08 I forgot how long Freddie Freeman was actually in Atlanta. Everyone's like, oh, probably six or seven, eight years. Freddie Freeman was a big leaguer in Atlanta for 12 seasons. He's already been with the Dodgers. This is his fourth year in a Dodger uni. I mean, this guy is a 16-year, you know, I don't know exactly the amount of big league service time he has. But the point is the guy's been in the big leagues for a very long time. And to your point, Clint, he's having probably one of his better seasons offensively.
Starting point is 00:14:35 And he's still not 100% physically. And we just take him for granted, as you mentioned the other day on X. There is nobody more reliable on the planet than Frederick Freeman. Love that man. I just love the fact. What I love about what you were saying, too, is Freddie. Muki and Shoah all had the equal amount of hits, right? They all had seven hits at the top of the order. I think that's pretty cool. There's some symbolism in that and they kind of mirror each other in what
Starting point is 00:14:59 they're doing. One guy gets going, then goes number two, then goes number three. It's just a pretty special thing. And again, you know, we have two guys, MVP caliber guys in terms of what they mean to the team, maybe not MVP in the league. But Tommy Edmund and Teoska Hernandez is rather on the shelf and they're still able to do this. What I'm a little bit more concerned about, and I do want you to talk a bit about your shockers, Clint, and we'll get into this, I guess, in blue balls, is just the starting pitching depth. And that concerns me a little bit. But before we get to that, I wanted to ask you what you thought about, is it too early to talk National League MVP voting? Are we getting ahead of ourselves here? I mean, can we talk about that the way too early
Starting point is 00:15:44 NL MVP case? Listen, we're big time talking heads here on the internet. We can talk about that every damn week. if we want. All right. We can do whatever we won't. I can do whatever I won't. Listen, if we're talking NL MVP favorites right now, Freddie for me is a show hay is going to be in every single conversation for the rest of his life.
Starting point is 00:16:06 And we are eventually going to see him pitching. That's an important factor. Of course, he threw a bullpen in Arizona over the weekend. And as our boss man, producer Mark showed us before we went live here, everybody in their grandma was watching that bullpen. at Chase Field. Show Hayes going to get a lot of quarter zips, right?
Starting point is 00:16:24 A lot of quarters zips. That's when you know. That's the high up exec types. But, you know, Freddie, doing great. Mookie, doing great. Also, I mean, you got to factor in the shortstop, you know, move for Mookie, where, you know, the numbers, you don't need to be hitting 340 with 40 bombs to be a MVP caliber shortstop. And he's playing a very, very good.
Starting point is 00:16:48 We need to actually dive in at some point. and talk about how good Mookie Betz has been at shortstop and keeps getting better as the season goes along. But when you're talking about MVP candidates, those three dudes are right up there at the top. I mean, I think you have to look at Teoska Hernandez with a little bit. I know this sounds very homery when we're talking about it. But Teo has been met so much to this team when he's in that lineup,
Starting point is 00:17:15 when he's healthy. Of course, that's your team MVP last year. And when you look around the National League, you know, there aren't a bunch of dudes really taking off with it. Fernando Tatis Jr. having a very, very nice year. If you're looking at baseball reference wins above replacement. He is the NL leader at 2.9 wins above replacement. Pete Crowe Armstrong having a very, very good season with the Cubs. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:36 He's having a strong year. Two and a half, what is it, B-Wore? And then Fernando Tatease Jr. is what you said, 2.9 B-Wore. You know, you got to think about the Francisco Lindors of the world, the Pete Alonzo's of the world. Again, you know, once he wants, yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I'm still, at some point it's a name brand, you know?
Starting point is 00:17:57 Sure. But you got to have the numbers to back that up too. But let me ask you this. Here's the issue I have, not an issue, but I mean, this is a fact of the matter. I mean, when you think about Mookie, when you think about Shohay and when you think about Freddie, and I'm not necessarily throwing Mookie in the conversation for MVP yet because he's still got to get some of that weight back. He still got to get his power back.
Starting point is 00:18:14 He wants his bat speed to increase in the zone, those types of things, whatever he's putting a lot of effort into his defense, but I don't ever, ever worry about mokey bets, ever. But the problem is the Dodgers kind of cannibalize each other, right, and the MVP vote, because they're all on the same team, obvious. And I do think that there's some, like, laws of attrition there, or they kind of eat each other's votes because they're all on the same team. So it's like, you know, you've got a really, really good shot of a Dodger being the MVP, but it's almost taken away, you know, from their teammates.
Starting point is 00:18:44 And I guess you could say the same thing about Lindor and Alonzo. But I do think that, you know, Shohei's always going to be at the top of mind, especially if he's doing it on both sides of the ball. It's going to be sure. But Freddie Freeman, the consistency that this guy has day in and day out. I mean, he just wakes up, rolls out of bed, and hits 300 on the year. You know how hard it is to hit 300?
Starting point is 00:19:10 Like, as a like, career average? Yeah, I struggle. I struggle to hit 300 and slow-pitched softball these days. So what Freddie does is insane. And I would be remiss because I know she's watching out in the living right now, Mrs. F-R-G. I would be remiss if I didn't point out that we have messed up a number of times on the show. That's Dodgers legend, Freddie Freeman.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Oh, I'm sorry, Mrs. F-R-V, my bad. Yes, he is daughters. Get the lyrics right. What did I say? What did I believe? F-R-B. No, I said G. I said G.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Well, whatever. I'm not drunk about you. You can't talk. No, no, no, I still think that a fake Ryan Gosling is BS because you look nothing like him. So anyway, that's neither here nor there. Anyways, there's all that. Do you want to talk about the bad stuff and get into a little bit of blue balls? Yeah, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:19:59 All right, quickly. Those are happy music for a sad segment, I guess. We got to talk about updating that music. But there was some news, some updates over the weekend. You want to let everybody know the latest Blake's now. and Tyler Glassnow News. What I find funny is your comment here in our rundown. Latest from Dr. Neil Eletrosch's yacht.
Starting point is 00:20:25 And that is no BS because this man has worked on every single major athlete, pro athlete, regardless of the sport on their arm or their leg or whatever. Yeah, I would put his yacht next thing at this point. Yeah, so Blake Snell is set to meet with Dr. Neil Eletrash today as he continues to deal with left shoulder inflammation. you can see the tweet from by Jack Harris on X. Blake Snell was supposed to start throwing again this road trip, but that didn't end up happening because his shoulder is still bothering him. He and Tyler Glass now, who has started throwing again this week, are both scheduled to check in with team doctors tomorrow, which is now today. So that's interesting. We know that Tyler is throwing, as we just mentioned. So hopefully it's just a, you know, a precautionary thing to make sure he's on the up and up and he's okay. But Blake Snell going to Ella Trash, when remember he was only supposed to miss two starts two months ago or a month and change ago, that is problematic. That makes me know.
Starting point is 00:21:25 You know, what's not funny, but it's just something I saw. It was an old tweet that popped up in my feed. And yes, I still call them tweets because that was a great name for them. But looking at what Max Fried has done for the Yankees so far, I mean, he has been absolutely nails. And you're just sitting here with the power of, you know, 2020 vision or. hindsight, yada, yada, just allocate that money to freed instead of Snell and all of a sudden you're
Starting point is 00:21:52 feeling great or whatever at this point, but that's not how it works, that's not how reality works, and if we can all just know what the lottery numbers were ahead of time, we'd be pretty well off. But yeah, the Blake'snell thing, you know, Dave, Dave Roberts said yesterday that he doesn't really have an opinion until he
Starting point is 00:22:08 knows what comes out of this meeting, or this, I guess, appointment. These were already on the calendar. You know, the Dodgers going and seeing the great doctor on his yacht or from his yacht or whatever. Yes, Nell is concerning. Tyler Glasnow, it seems to be more of a kind of final checkup before he actually ramps up the throwing program.
Starting point is 00:22:30 So that's good. And if you're able to get Glasnow back in a month from now, all of a sudden you start feeling a lot better. Worth noting, Dodgers getting Clayton Kershaw back this weekend as well. And I asked this earlier on a show I was on with our friend Greg Bergman, who filled in admirably for you on the post game last week. Do you think he just slots in? Kirsts just slots into that rotation and they go back to a six-man rotation starting next week?
Starting point is 00:22:56 Or does he take the spot on the neck? No. No, I don't think so because you're not going to rush him back to, he's not going to give you seven, eight, nine innings every time he comes out, right? I mean, this is a 37-year-old Kirsch or whatever the heck he is. I don't even know. But he's older, and he's also coming up two different. No, I wouldn't say elderly.
Starting point is 00:23:15 I could be his really older, older sister. But the point is in baseball, Kershaw is older. Okay, he's on the back nine of his career, if you will. But he still is an unbelievably talented pitcher, and I don't expect him to give you a complete game shutout every time he goes out there. So what is the danger? What is the downside of keeping Landonac in the rotation
Starting point is 00:23:35 or even maybe Landonac is a long man in the bullpen? I don't have a problem with that either. I'm used to the fact that now, Clint, that nobody has a role. Nobody has a role anymore. Everyone's all over the place. There's nothing set in stone anymore like the way that the game was in terms of the way things used to be and roles. So keep a six man. Put Roki and Yamamoto back on their preferred role.
Starting point is 00:23:58 I think that will help them, gives Land and Nack an opportunity to again continue to compete at this level, figure it out. He, you know, he pitched well his last time out. Yeah. And Dustin May and Tony Gonsolin continue to need to do that. I love those dudes. It's funny that those guys are literally the anchor for this rotation right now. I mean, of course Yamamoto is, but he's coming off a bad start, so we're mad at him. But the Dodgers need, desperately need starting pitching and they need length out of this team.
Starting point is 00:24:29 We've talked about it. Dave has been talking about it more and more in recent weeks that the bullpen cannot continue to lead baseball innings pitched like they have. Of course, this came out last week, Inosaurus, Inosaris, if you're nasty. you want to say it. A great article on the athletic talking about his kind of 10 things that stood out or standing out to him that are causing alarm. And at the time, the Dodgers being, let's just say the starting rotation being like super low when it comes to total innings pitched. As of this point now, Monday, about noon and a half, 187 and two thirds innings from the Dodgers starters. That is 29th in baseball. Two thirds of an inning. More.
Starting point is 00:25:14 than the lowly Miami Marlins and all the way at the top. And when you say that, right. And when you say that's the 29th in baseball, we're talking the 29th worst. This is not something like, yeah, the 29th most in terms of, you know, or fewest in terms of starting, pitching innings thrown. So that means basically that the bullpen, yeah, it's a problem. And the bullpen is having to eat up a bulk of the innings of the outing.
Starting point is 00:25:41 So that means that you're going to blow out your bullpen or, they're going to be super duper duper tired and you already have major key pieces of that bullpen a la blake trinen a la evan phoenix down so that again is problematic so they're gonna i don't that's why i said yeah you keep kersh in there uh on a six man rotation why not you've been throwing a six man rotation for the entire season what difference does it make as long as kersha is on the schedule that he wants to be on i'm fine with that yeah it's um again at least they're trending in a good spot right now are trending towards a good spot getting getting some guys back uh we know at some point time there'll there should be a tyler glasnow in there we don't know about blake snow but they they have
Starting point is 00:26:22 more health more healthy options coming down the pipeline emmitch she and is throwing to to hitters at camelback ranch and not too long from there he can go out in a minor league rehab assignment but it's definitely not the the five to six to eight arms we were expecting at this point of the season but But that's the fun of baseball these days. Everybody hurts, pitchers break, and you kind of just got to deal with it. Yeah. And, you know, Saras in that article that you were talking about, you know, the top 10 trends that he's seen so far in Major League Baseball, remember when everyone in their
Starting point is 00:26:56 mother, including us, wanted Ryan Presley in that bullpen, he's having a horrible year. So you just don't know what the heck is going to happen, right? You can't predict this stuff. You just got to hope that the bell curve comes around and you end up, you know, at the end of the day at the end of the season, you get what you thought you were going to get from these guys. Remember, Blake Snow is supposed to be our bulk load pitcher. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:17 So there's that. Speaking of obvious, the obvious statement is this. The Dodgers plan to be in on free agent outfielder Kyle Tucker this offseason. No kidding. Really? Where do I have that? I would imagine 25 of the 30 teams are going to be in. But you had a retort to this, Clint Paseas.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Yeah. What is your obvious plan in other news? Listen, if we're talking about the Dodgers plan on being in on one of the top free agents this coming free agent class, I too would like to break some news. I plan on being in on a tall boy this weekend. So what that is, I don't know yet. It might be one of the new Cayman Jacked sponsor your boy. It might be a Miller even though they don't really come in Tallboy, but your boy will be having a beer about it while I'm watching the Dodgers back at home. And if it's Sunday, Clayton Kirshod coming off the IL.
Starting point is 00:28:07 But before we continue, or do you have any Kyle Tucker thoughts before we listen to our buddies at Fowell Territory? No, bring it. All I can say is I'd love to have Kyle Tucker in that outfit. That does not mean I do not want Tay Oscar Hernandez, people, calm down. We'll find a place for Teo. We can put Kyle in center field, put Edmund back at second. I got it all figured out for 2006. I petition the Dodgers get a, they get a rover.
Starting point is 00:28:33 They get a softball rover. Okay, I'm sorry. Okay. All right, let's now hear from our friends once again at FAL territory on Hall of Fame bets. And if you like gambling, sometimes this is really good to know. So get on there, get on that Hall of Fame app and check it out. Starting point is 00:30:30 little bit of difficulty walking. Something happened to her back legs. We're not certain what it is. We don't know if she got stuck in a trap. We don't know if she got into it with an altercation with the coyote or something. But the good news is she's wonderful she's super good with mellow dogs she's great with cats she's a sweetheart we're going to get her to our foster on the 14th in a couple of days and then we're getting her into the vet to see what can actually be done in terms of fixing those back legs whether that's prosthetics rather excuse me or some sort of therapy but the point is she's a great girl and she's not even a year old and she deserves a happy happy forever home if you're interested in learning
Starting point is 00:31:06 more about janey let me know and we certainly could always use donations gidreys guardian.org to help us with her medical cost. So thanks for letting me talk about that. And welcome back, by the way. You haven't had your show in a couple of weeks. Welcome finally back to working. What is coming up on all Dodgers with Clint Paseas? The important thing is, guys, later on, I'm finally going to be back. I haven't been live since being live from our friend Richie's house in DeVore a couple Sundays ago. Life has been real. So I'm finally going to be back talking about your Dodgers tonight. Should be. at 6 p.m. Pacific time, the best way to know when I am live is to go subscribe to the channel,
Starting point is 00:31:46 hit the notification bell, which sometimes works on YouTube, fix yourself YouTube. Sometimes you can help us out a little bit here. But yeah, we'll be taking comments, just hanging out in the chat. I don't have anything too crazy to talk about that. We haven't already talked about here, but I know the fans have things. Dodgers fans always have a lot of things they want to talk about. So we'll sound off there on YouTube later. Yeah. All right. Before we say goodbye, what is your baseball fought for the road. I thought this was a little bit funny. In our segment called, thank God, we don't have to deal with this BS, the Colorado Rockies decided that they were going to fire
Starting point is 00:32:21 Bud Black after the lone win yesterday. They now have seven wins. Dave Roberts on the Colorado Rockies firing his mentor because Dave and Bud, let me preface this by saying Dave and Bud are incredibly close. Dave said, I'm bummed. I'm disappointed. I don't think Casey Stengel could change the outcome of that ball club. And that's not the manager's fault. And no. true or words have ever been spoken because somebody in my social media clint said that bud black is driving a toyota corolla against teams that are driving ferrari's and Lamborghinis and again no disrespect to the toyota carola drivers i had a toyota um but this is ridiculous it's not bud black you have basically gave the man seven dollars to run a team yeah yeah the um
Starting point is 00:33:10 Listen, I can clown on the Rockies all day long and they deserve it. Dick Montfort needs to sell the team. Just take it out of Colorado. I know we know there's a fan base there. They would love to see baseball. They'd love to see a good baseball team. They've been a good baseball team at different points in time. You got to invest in the front office.
Starting point is 00:33:28 You got to invest in scouting. You got to invest in players. They don't do that. They don't do that. And they're loyal to a fault. They never go outside of the organization. You know, in terms of their front office, people sometimes you need a different perspective like get out of the nest throw your folks out of the
Starting point is 00:33:43 nest you know what's see something else what's good for bud black here is he still gets paid and he gets a get out of jail free cart uh he's gone somebody said earlier marcus grant on espion ala when i was joining them on blue review a shameless plug there check that out if you guys want to hear more about me but he said he was paroled and i'm like yeah yeah bud black could go find himself yeah go take the pittsburgh job it's there they can use some help yeah no i would shit i wouldn't i wouldn't i wouldn't I wouldn't wish that upon anybody either. Yeah, that's just about as bad. No.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I love how Dicklinford said that, yeah, the Dodgers are what's wrong with baseball. No, bro, you not investing in your club is what's, it's what's wrong with baseball. All right, that's, let me get off my soapbox really quick. Thanks for being with Clinton and I. Yeah, that's the right button. We appreciate you guys being with us on Dodgers territory.
