Starting point is 00:01:33 Welcome to the Boys and Girls podcast. Arranged Marriage is basically a reality show and you're auditioning for your soulmate. And who's judging? Only your entire family? I sacrificed myself to this ancient tradition, hoping to find love the right way. And instead, I found chaos, comedy, and a lot of cringe. Listen to Boys and Girls on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I've said it before.
Starting point is 00:02:00 This was before the Ropee Sasaki signing. I think this team, right? now is better equipped to run it back to back than the 2020 team was and look at what they accomplished. Hello, everybody. It is the freaking weekend and I didn't think it was going to get better and it just did. Holy moly. Welcome to Dodgers territory y'all.
Starting point is 00:02:22 This is going to be a good and fun show live and brand new. That is Clint Paseas, my guy. I am Alana Rizzo and by the way, we talked about it yesterday on Dodgers territory with Eric Steven from SB Nation, True Blue LA. that we thought Roki Sasaki would have a good chance of coming to the Dodgers, and he made it official himself on Instagram posting that he signed a minor league deal with L.A. We all know that Roki Sasaki is going to be in the big leagues with the Dodgers. But what a beautiful photo.
Starting point is 00:02:53 It is official. We can stop guessing. We can stop wondering, Clint. Cheers to V, sir. Congratulations, Dodgers Nation. You just got another phenom Japanese pitcher in the rotation. Thank you, Andrew Friedman, by the way. Cheers.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Cheers to thee. What are your thoughts on this big guy? You know, it's tough out here being a Dodgers fan. We had to wait all this time to end up getting Roki. But, man, what? I said this on my show earlier. I said it probably way too much because when you're doing reaction shows, sometimes you're just kind of grasping at straws while things are happening.
Starting point is 00:03:27 But my God, what a great time to be a Dodgers fan. Build the Andrew Friedman statue already because Andrew, Brandon Gomes, they cooked. They stayed quiet. We're worried about, you know, the Padres for a while. You're worried about the Toronto Blue Jays. Toronto Blue Jays go out and acquire more international bonus pool money. Didn't work out.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Once again, they are the bridesmaid and not the bride. And the Dodgers go out there and get the Japanese star prize for the starting rotation. What a hell of a starting rotation what's going to be? Of course, we already have the first look stuff. what Roki could look like in uniform, and I sincerely doubt he's going to be. So handsome. Just so handsome. I doubt he's going to be JT's number. Exactly. You know what? So handsome looking in Dodger Blue, that Pantone 294.
Starting point is 00:04:17 By the way, our man, Alvaro Garcia, Alvaro Garcia, 225, 2025, Roki of the year. Somebody go ahead and copyright that for Alvaro Garcia, because that sounds pretty dang good. Roki of the year. Somebody get on that. Baseball isn't hurry up. It's awesome. I tell you what, when you look at this starting rotation, Clint Fasius, assuming that we're not going to have Shohei right at the beginning of the season, which that's been pretty well established. You look at it, it's still pretty dang good, my friend. You have obviously Blake Snell, massive, massive free agent signing, probably the biggest free agent signing other than Corbyn Burns when you're talking arms. Max Fried, obviously, a trade over to New York Yankees, but you have Blake Snell, you have Yoshinovo Yamamoto, you have Tyler Glass now.
Starting point is 00:05:03 You have, oh, by the way, Shohei Otani, who obviously will not be ready at the beginning. And then you have Roki Sasaki. So you have three Japanese phenoms. Then you obviously have two proven, already proven big leaguers and Tyler Glasnow, friend of the program. And Blake Snell, who I hated pitching or playing against now, psych that he's on our team. And again, there's got to be somebody that fills the void for Shohei. Perhaps that's Dustin May. Perhaps that's somebody else.
Starting point is 00:05:28 We've talked about that at length. But this could arguably be one of the best starting. rotations ever assembled just in terms of talent. Again, you don't want to say if all is healthy because that never happens. But my goodness, anything can happen over a season, but there's potential here to be a top five rotation of all time. Alex Fast saying this, top three, an insane amount of depth in that organization. And honestly, Clint, all five of these guys are ones. Yeah, this is a absolute, uh, just a bounty of aces. And if you lose one or two along the way, like we saw, Last year, with all of the injuries, you could just plug somebody else into the mix.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Our producer, Mark, saying in the background here as well, it's weird. You don't see Clayton Kershaw in the mix. Of course, this is going to, expected to be a six-man rotation, however official or unofficial. I mean, I mean, Kersh will be there. Curse will be there when he's healthy and ready. You also have, you know, a former All-Star in the mix in Tony Gonslin, who will be coming back from Tommy John's surgery. Like you mentioned, Dustin May, whatever that role may be. be involved. Landon Nack, who picked up some big innings for this team last year,
Starting point is 00:06:37 up to and including in the playoffs and in the World Series and other kids along the way. Jackson Ferris, ready to go potentially in the minor leagues. We saw Ben Casperius. We saw some Justin Rebleski. There's a lot of depth. And now let's go back maybe about 10 months from when we first started doing Dodgers territory. You had a lot of worry. You had a lot of fear about the Dodgers starting rotation depth.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Now, no, in Rokey Sasaki, how do you think? I think that was warranted, though. That fear coming into 2020 was totally warranted because of the injuries and those types of things and everything that we were dealing with. I feel very, very good about this team. I've said it before. This was before the Roki Sasaki signing. I said this yesterday on the show. I said, I think our team right now, our team, like I put it together, I think this team right now is better equipped to run it back to back than the 20204 team was.
Starting point is 00:07:31 And look at what they accomplished, obviously. So I feel really good about this. I mean, again, not proven yet in the big leagues, but he has a couple of guys around him that he's obviously going to be very comfortable with. Let me ask you this. What is it about Japanese talent that you think they want to make the announcement on their own?
Starting point is 00:07:50 I mean, Teosker Hernandez did it as well. I think Blake Snell did it too. But remember, nobody knows anything about Shohei and then Shohei just drops bombs all the time. Oh, by the way, I got married. Oh, by the way, I'm having a kid. Oh, by the way, you know, like, I'm coming to the dog.
Starting point is 00:08:03 It's like, and Roki Sasaki did it too. Show Hayes was impressive. Hey, Blake Snell did it as well. Yeah, I think that's just a symptom of working with the Dodgers. You know the Dodgers are, you know painfully well. They keep things very guarded, very close to the vest. The ability, having the ability to kind of break their own news in this day and age seems foreign, you know, usually back in the day, back in your day, you had to wait for the
Starting point is 00:08:32 newspaper to come out or maybe the late press or something. Did you just say back in my day? Did you just say back in my day? I'll drink to that. Holy cow. I had to. I had to. It's Friday.
Starting point is 00:08:45 We're feeling good. Listen, we could fight at spring training when we're talking to Dave Robertson company out there. But we should be celebrating. We should be rejoicing. Dodgers got kind of everything they wanted this offseason. Teoska Hernandez back. You extend Tommy Edmund.
Starting point is 00:09:01 You add Roki Sasaki, you add Blake Snell. What a fucking offseason for this team. I'm Anna Navarro, and on my new podcast, Bleep with Anna Navarro. I'm talking to the people closest to the biggest issues happening in your community and around the world. Because I know deep down inside right now, we are all cursing and asking what the bleep is going on. I'm talking to people like Julie K. Brown, who broke the explosive story on Jeffrey Epstein in 2018. These victims have been let down time and time again for decades and decades by local law enforcement, by federal law enforcement, by administration after administration. The Justice Department through, I think we counted four presidential administrations, failed these victims.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Listen to Bleep with Anna Navarro as part of the My Cultura podcast network, available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or words. wherever you get your podcasts. What's up? I'm Miles Turner. And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game, has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think, on and off the court. Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests.
Starting point is 00:10:24 What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave? And then actually now I'm going to stay. We talk tanking. I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening in the WBA. And yeah, we talk about our mistakes too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man, you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games,
Starting point is 00:10:47 no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And of course, family stories. They'll be like, Mommy, why did you miss that? Mommy, do you play basketball? Check out Game Recognized game with Stoian Miles on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you. you get your podcasts. Hi, it's Alec Baldwin.
Starting point is 00:11:09 This season on my podcast, here's the thing I'm speaking with more artists, policymakers, and performers. My composer, Mark Schaman. Once you've established that you have the talent, it's about the hang. It's the pleasure of hanging out
Starting point is 00:11:22 with the people that you're with. You know, Rob and I was always a great hang. We would sit in kibbitts for hours and then eventually get around to the music. That's what I mostly think of when I think of him, the time together laughing. Lawyer of Robbie Kaplan.
Starting point is 00:11:36 The great gift of being a lawyer is the ability to actually change things in our society in a way that very few people can. You can really make a difference to causes in the United States if you bring the right case at the right time. Marriage equality. Yeah, Windsor is the perfect example. And journalist Chris Whipple. Every White House staffer, they work in a bubble called the West Wing, and it's exponentially more so in the Trump White House. Listen to the new season of Here's the Thing on the I Heart Radio app or wherever you get your podcasts. We got a 1999 super chat from Mr. John Rod.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Thank you. What's up, Mr. John Rod 77? For a celebratory glass of wine for Alana because Riz just said the wine she's drinking wasn't that good. Actually, it's not. I'm not going to slam this and drink something else that's a little bit. No, it's definitely not going to stomach. But here's the thing. I think it's an A plus plus off season for the.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Dodgers. I still have a ton of confidence that Kikei finds his way in the mix. I mean, Kike, I love him, but he's not high priority. Roki Sasaki was, Blake Snell was, Taya Oscar was. Now they really have all the pieces in place where Kike could be quite the compliment. I love the fact that this team goes out and puts their money. I know they have a lot of it, but again, this is not about money. Let's be clear on this. The Roki Sasaki signing is not about money. Every single team had the opportunity to sign him with that international pool money. Okay. Now, the Dodgers ended up giving him, it looks like according to Fabian Ardaio of the athletic, Roki Sasaki's Dodgers signing bonus is six and a half million. The source tells us. Okay,
Starting point is 00:13:18 great. So that's okay. Every team could have done that. Now, I know that when they signed Heesong Kim, their pool money went down a little bit. They could have traded for a little bit more. But what's the difference? I know it's a million dollars. But what's the difference between six and a half and seven and a half. Roki Sasaki, I believe, made this decision a long time ago. He had to do his due diligence and and talk to the other teams, find out the other team's packages, what were the opportunities going to be, who was going to surround him. If this was about money, again, said this yesterday on our show, he would have waited two years to post and would have gotten a boatload more money. So this is about where he wanted to play, where he could get best developed to pitch
Starting point is 00:14:00 effectively at the major league level and where is he going to feel comfortable and where does he have the best chance to win? That is L.A. There's a lot to unpack there. There's one correction with the Haysan Kim. That was a major league free agent. Yeah, that was he was an international signing.
Starting point is 00:14:19 My bet. And even so it would have been before this international pool money. So it would have played a little bit different. But even so, like that's out of the picture. The Dodgers used all of their available bonus money here on Roki Sasaki. They also traded for some additional money, trading away minor league pitcher Dylan Carlson
Starting point is 00:14:37 to the Phillies to acquire more money. But the main thing I want to focus on, and I've talked a lot about this on my All Dodgers YouTube channel, check it out, subscribe. Also subscribe here, Dodgers territory. The Dodgers, and this is not being a homer, it's not being a fan, it's just a reality. The Dodgers are the best organization in baseball right now
Starting point is 00:14:58 when it comes to taking care of a player, developing a player, not having ownership drama on, you know, surrounding the headlines right now. They're not trying to offload salary like some other teams. They're also not the team that keeps losing out on free agents like the Toronto Blue Jays. They are just well-built, a well-oiled machine. They also have insane talent on the roster and ready to go and ready to go out there and run it back for a back-to-back title run. So like the people who want to complain, we had somebody in the chat saying, when do we start hearing the other teams filing complaints to Major League Baseball over this? Like you said, Alana, every team had an opportunity to sign Roki Sasaki.
Starting point is 00:15:45 The Dodgers are just better. Yeah. And if there was something nefarious going on, Rob Manfred would have gotten involved. Okay. Like this is not something that the Dodgers are just doing by themselves and they're being sneaky about it and this, that, and the other thing. Any team could have signed Rokees to soccer. Again, do the Dodgers have a ton of money?
Starting point is 00:16:03 Sure they do. But they also reinvest it in their club. They also reinvest it in their stadium. They also reinvest it in other ways. And not for nothing, they want, guys want, it is becoming a destination of where guys want to play. They want to be a part of this organization. I've been a part of several different organizations in different capacities.
Starting point is 00:16:23 And the Dodgers, I'm telling you, the Dodgers are just built differently. They just make you feel some kind of way. They make you feel like the bride and not the bride. And it's top to bottom. That's the big thing for it. We heard Tyler Glasnow talking to the boys on foul yesterday about if you want to go somewhere where they're going to take care of you, take care of your family, not hear about things like Juan Soto and the whole issue with his family and the clubhouse. I mean, Alana, you know the clubby's at Dodger Stadium, the people that are, you know, under the. the mezzaning under the seats.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Nobody works harder than the Dodgers 12thouse. Yeah, nobody works harder. And they do. They take care of their players. They always want to start something. Elsie in the chat said, they not like us. They're not like it.
Starting point is 00:17:10 They're not. They're not. And people want to hate us. And that's okay. And again, I can understand where that's coming from because if you're a fan of a team that's not spending the money
Starting point is 00:17:19 or if you're a fan of the team that's not getting these players, I don't feel, I don't feel badly for the organization. I may feel badly for the fan base. you know, like the Toronto Blue Jays fan base, I might be like, man, that, that stinks. Because they, you know, they had high hopes of getting show hay.
Starting point is 00:17:33 They had high hopes. Oh, Jeff. Great. Great passing bomb right there, by the way. Yeah. You know, I do. I love Hepha. But, you know, again, like, I feel, I get from a fans' perspective why this is annoying.
Starting point is 00:17:44 I get you. I feel you. But an organization's perspective, again, remember, as much player, as much money as Juan Soto's getting, think about how much money Steve Cohen has. As much money as Aaron Judge got, think about what the Steinbrenners have. As much money as Shohay got, think of how much Guggenheim is worth. I mean, these people have money. When you can sponsor, like, when you have sponsored logos on your jersey, that's your own company, that's one heck of a flex, right?
Starting point is 00:18:09 That's perfect. Like, Guggenheim sponsors the Dodgers. They own the Dodgers. And they're like, oh, wait a fuck it. We don't need any other sponsors. They're just going to throw this logo on here because we just can. Yeah, because they can. Yeah, I want to throw out there.
Starting point is 00:18:20 You know, who else has money, Ardy Moreno, Dick Monfort. Those are two people that have. John Fisher has some money. He's spending some money. this off season for some reason, I guess. But, yeah, again, the Dodgers, they don't just keep their money. They are true to their words. They talk often.
Starting point is 00:18:36 The front office talks often. Stan Kasten talks often about reinvesting in the organization. When you go out there and win a World Series, you get a bunch of money for winning that World Series. They get a bunch of money in advertisement from signing show, Hey, Otani. They don't just pocket it. They reinvest into the organization. No doubt.
Starting point is 00:18:55 but they're not idiots either. They know that Shohei Otani has an entire country behind him. They know that that's going to open up so many opportunities for sponsorship deals and all of the things from, you know, all of the money coming in from Japan and how much everybody. I mean, people want to know, like, if Shohei burps, they want to know about it. Like, it's just, it's insanity. The amount of, like, like, attention that show Hey, Otani is getting. But think about this for a second.
Starting point is 00:19:25 I've said it 100 times. If Shohei Otani is making 700 million, it's because Guggenheim thinks that they can get a return on investment of four times that amount. So Guggenheim is already anticipating that they're going to get $2.8 billion in return for what they're giving Shohay. Mark Walter is a very, very smart human being. They're not going to dish out $700 million contracts on a whim and say,
Starting point is 00:19:54 let's see how this. this works out. But they are putting their money back into the team. And this is exciting. And Dodgers fans, Shohei would never burp. Mark, shut up. You know, like this is. He has respect. This is, yeah, he would do it very politely. And then he would probably apologize profusely. Excuse me. Exactly. Yeah. But I, I'm proud of, I'm proud of the organization for what they're doing, reinvesting in the team. To me, it shows an ownership group that wants to win. Is it a blip on their portfolio? Maybe. But, you know what baseball teams and professional sports teams are a blip on a lot of ownership groups portfolios and they don't spend money to win so i'm proud of this group so the question i have
Starting point is 00:20:35 for you and and folks here in the chat if you're hanging out with us appreciate you guys hanging out with us scotty brawn also hanging out with us appreciate uh the boys having me on foul earlier while lana was too busy um they had bringing in the real time i was at my i was at my stepdaughter's basketball game and i was not close and i didn't have a car i was not about to walk walk home in New England weather. Okay, but here I am. I bet it was a bit chilly. So the team stacked with talent.
Starting point is 00:21:03 I'll throw this back up here. Again, this is just the five we know of in the rotation. There's going to be more added to the rotation. There's also a wealth of talent when it comes to the position player side of things. Even the minor league side is it's not stacked super, super deep, but they got some dudes that are ready to help this team this year if they need it. Let's go forward. six years. How many
Starting point is 00:21:27 World Series do the Dodgers win in six years? I want to know what people are thinking in the chat. And Alana, I want to know just the boldest of bold, cedar your ass take right here. How many World Series are the Dodgers winning? It's unbelievably, it's unbelievably difficult to win a World Series. And I've also
Starting point is 00:21:42 said this a thousand times ad nauseum that spending money does not guarantee a World Series. It does not you cannot buy a World Series championship. You can buy very good players and it pretty much, and I've had this conversation with Chris Russo a thousand times. You can pretty much guarantee an appearance in the postseason if you spend that kind of money. But you cannot guarantee a World Series champion. I think
Starting point is 00:22:05 in the next six years, I think we win two, two more. Now, is that, is that like all of this money? Is that worth it? Like, what does this cost if you're able to buy a World Series? I agree. If you win one more, if you win one more World Series in the next six years, I think all of this money was worth it. I mean, of course, would you want to win every day? You know how difficult or every year? Rather, you know how difficult it is to go back to back? No one's done it since the Yankees did it in 98, 99, and 2000. It's impossible. Yeah. I'd say, I'd say two more in the next six years. Every other year. Maybe we start doing the every other even year. But I want one in 2025. So every other. Three and five, three. Yeah, let's go back to back. I want to back to back.
Starting point is 00:22:49 You know what? We're not talking a repeat, a three Pete or even a four Pete. We're talking minimum eight Pete to borrow from the great... No. You're out of your mind. Anyways, it was Saturday Night Live. It was a Saturday Night Live. It was a set. It was an S&L bit. You know, Bill Schwarsky super fan. I'm Anna Navarro and on my new podcast, Leap with Anna Navarro. Starting point is 00:24:58 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, it's Alec Baldwin this season on my podcast. Here's the thing I'm speaking with more artists, policymakers, and performers by composer Mark Schaman. Once you've established that you have the talent, it's about the hang. It's the pleasure of hanging out with the people that you're with. You know, Rob and I was. always a great hang. We would sit in kibbits for hours and then eventually get around to the music.

The great gift of being a lawyer is the ability to actually change things in our society in a way that very few people can. Every White House staffer, they work in a bubble called the West Wing, and it's exponentially more so in the Trump White House.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Listen to the new season of Here's the thing on the IHeart Radio app or wherever you get your podcasts. This is where we're at in the show, guys. It's Friday. We got 800 of you live with us. We're drinking. We're celebrating Roki Sasaki's a Dodger. Hell of a time to be alive. Hell of a starting rotation. I think that's unrealistic. I'm going to take it. I'll go stupid bold. I think three in six is pretty reasonable. So that would be better than your three and five. And this is going forward. I'm not talking about 24 or 20.
Starting point is 00:26:32 But the fact that we're able to have this conversation and not really be like outlandish about it, not it being just pie in the sky sort of thing. Yeah, there are a lot of very good teams laying around Major League Baseball right now, but none of them are as well built and as well run as the Los Angeles Dodgers. So we're in a very, very, very good teams.
Starting point is 00:26:51 advantageous spot. Are you done? Are you set with this roster? Are you good? Do you need anybody else? You need a Tanner Scott? You need a you need a Keeke? What do you need? I need a Kiki. I think we need to see Kike back. I think we need to. I mean, at this point, Fett, you know, they're saving money signing a dude for, but the $5 million or whatever it was $6.5. What did Fabian say? There goes, $6.5 million. That doesn't count against the luxury tax this year. Roki would just count, because he's, that's a bonus, so that doesn't count towards your luxury tax. So it's like the Dodgers really didn't sign anybody outside of the major league minimum, which means you have more money for Tanner Scott. If we see that money come down, we saw what, A.J. Mentor today get 11 mil for each of the next two years. 22 million. Yeah, 22 over two. That maybe, if the Mets are out of the picture for Minter, maybe that contract goes down a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Tanner Scott, do you want to win a, a freaking world series come to LA but you know do it at a reasonable price but that's what I want to see I want to see Kike that's what's left on my shopping list if I'm going crazy and we're just getting it all and making everybody in baseball hate us Tanner Scott Kike Hernandez
Starting point is 00:28:05 come on down that's perfect that would be for me too that would be that would meet me too I think if we could get those two guys that would be pretty freaking incredible so Alana before we get out of here let me ask you one of the no I'm going to talk all night I am not
Starting point is 00:28:21 And I am not getting off of this. All right. So Tanner, Scott or Kiki? Who do you want more? I think I want Kike. I think there's something about the vibes he brings. And people who have been watching me do this for a very long time here on the internet, by Internet standards.
Starting point is 00:28:38 They would be shocked to hear the words of I want Kiki coming out of my mouth because I've had some thoughts about Enrique Hernandez in the past. Kiki to upset people on Instagram. But you just, it's a perfect fit. He is a perfect fit for this team and you mix him in. Yeah, you mix him in alongside Tommy Edman. And yeah, it's just, it makes so much sense. And again, the vibes. And maybe he does figure out how to play in the regular season as well.
Starting point is 00:29:07 And then you're feeling really good. But the same way, the starting rotation. That's that backhanded compliment that you just like, you just kind of slapped him around a little bit. That makes it very difficult for me to get guys on our show because of you. You are a problem. You are a problem. So Mark put in our rundown.
Starting point is 00:29:23 Rumor has it that 6.4 of the 6.5 million for Sasaki is deferred. Oh, God. Wait, did I just get firmly thrown under the bus right there? People, they hate me? They don't like you. They can't stand you. Oh, I'll drink to that. You don't have how many times I've had to go for a minute?
Starting point is 00:29:40 No, I'm kidding. I'm totally kidding. I've never heard anybody's good. I'm going to ask. I'm going to ask, I'm going to ask Teo why he hates me then on Monday. By the way, guys, too been next week to ask Hernandez and Chris. Taylor joining us. That'll be fun for sure. This hopefully
Starting point is 00:29:55 Chris Taylor doesn't watch any of these. All right. I love Chris. I've never said a bad word about Chris. That's all you. If Chris doesn't come on, that's because of you. Well, he better come on. He already agreed. Maddie Man Five Dodge. My man, he says Clint is extremely unlikable. Thank you, Maddy Man,
Starting point is 00:30:11 five Dodge. He's messing around. He's a friend here. We got two things. Is there room for Clayton Kershaw in the starting rotation. Let's go into that. What do you think? Absolutely, absolutely, because unfortunately, the five starters, if Dustin May is in fact the fifth, they're not going to stay healthy the entire season, right? So you get Kirsch back in August, September, maybe even just October,
Starting point is 00:30:35 you know, and he has a healthy arm, a healthy foot, everything that's been ailing him. You know, his arm is still not overworked because he hasn't pitched the majority of the season. Yes, there's always room for Kirsch, of course, absolutely. I mean, this is not who we start the season with on, you know, when we go to Tokyo for this. It's not going to be the same 26 man, right? It's not even the same 40 all the way through. So yes, of course there's room for Kirsch. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:31:05 You know, you never know. And plus, that was just a question, you know, Mark had a very good question because there's so much talent available. In what universe is there not room for Clayton Kirschaw in like September or October? Well, that's honestly, that's the real spot where I'm not sure there's room for Kershaw because if everybody's healthy, he's not one of the best four or five starters. They're not going to all be healthy. They're not. I'll do the devil's advocate of best case scenario. It's going to be, hell, even Roki might not fit in there because you do have show hey, you got Yamamoto, you got Glassnow, who they view as an ace. And you also added, do I say Snow? They got people. You got pieces.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Yeah. All right. So do you still want Jack Flaherty in the interim until Kersh comes back? It was it was Flaherty or if no Roki. That's what I feel about it. And they got Roki, so you're in a good spot. The last one I got for you. And we're going to let you eat on this one because this is certain to upset people on the internet.
Starting point is 00:32:14 But in a good, engaging way. Dodgers signed Roki Sasaki. Are the Dodgers bad for baseball? No. That's no. Again, we have, we've had this conversation a thousand times. The internet is having that conversation right now. The internet's angry because the internet has a group of fans from the other 29 teams.
Starting point is 00:32:42 And again, from a fan perspective, I get it. If you don't know all of the ins and out, it's not saying that the fans are not knowledgeable. I'm not saying that. But yes, every, every team has the opportunity. Rogi Sasaki wanted to come to L.A. Shohei Otani wanted to come. Hey, Oscar Hernandez had tears in his eyes. I want to be in L.A. Kike has said a thousand times, I want to come back to L.A. J.T., in my opinion, I don't know this for certain. I didn't talk to them about this. You know, J.T. would have love to probably retire as a Dodger. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Nobody, like, there's something special about it. They treat people well. They always have a chance to win. You live in L.A. There's some really special things about that organization. Is it bad for baseball? No. If it was, you know, then the commissioner would have said something about it.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Yeah, I know people are pissed, but, oh, well, don't hate the player, hate the game. That's the way it goes. Just because our front office is smarter than your. front office. That's not my problem. That's what I was going to say. It was an end on this. If you think the Dodgers are bad for baseball, it's because your team,
Starting point is 00:33:53 your ownership is bad for your team. Simple as that. So guys, subscribe to the dog. What is this one? This is Dodgers territory. Subscribe to Dodgers territory here on YouTube. We're trying to get to 8 billion subscribers or maybe like 8,000 wherever we're at.
