But until then, please like, rate us five stars and do all the things on YouTube and wherever you get your podcast. We have a special guest coming up here. Shortly graphic artist S. Preston will be joining us. Loves to do a bunch of stuff with Major League Baseball and, of course, the Los Angeles Dodgers. But Clint, before we have Preston joining us, let's get to the big ticket, a lot of stuff to cover since we were last on. Yeah, let's do it. All right. So since the last.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Last time Clint and I joined you, there has been big news that pitcher out of Japan, not named Shoahotani, not named Yoshinobu Yamamoto, by the name of Roki Sasaki is going to be posted by his Japanese team. And of course, the Dodgers, understandably so, are the frontrunner in terms of where he will land. You can see the tweet there from John Heyman. He's headed to Major League Baseball. Dodgers considered the favorites again. So I know that you've known about Roki Sasaki for quite some time, Clint. This is a guy that's obviously incredibly talented. He has a fastball that goes from 97 to about 100 miles an hour. Great splitter, great slider. Would you like to see him logistically and legitimately in the Dodgers rotation? Well, logistically, absolutely, because he's going
Starting point is 00:03:58 to cost pennies considering, you know, you look at the Yamamoto contract 325. The dude costs a lot of money. This guy is not going to cost a lot of money because he is not of, he, he, he, he, he, He's not eligible to be an official, you know, like, like free agent or however you explain it. Basically, he's not old enough. He has not been pitching in Japan for long enough to get all that, to get the bag. He's under kind of like the way Shohei Otani came to the States. He's, what do they call it? More of a rookie.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Yeah, he's not, he's not, he's an international amateur versus a foreign professional. There you go. There you go. There you go. Sorry. The coffee hasn't kicked in enough this morning. But still, it's an exciting time. for Dodgers fans because you look at the state of the rotation.
Starting point is 00:04:43 We talked about this a lot during this world championship season. There were still a lot of issues with the starting rotation. Heading into next year, you're missing some pieces for the entirety of the year. There will be no Gavin Stone. You don't know what Clayton Kershaw is going to look like when he eventually does come back. Right now, there are three, there's really only three healthy starters. And the healthy is kind of with a big fat asterisk when you're talking about Shohei Otani reintering the starting rotation.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Yamamoto, whose shoulder, fell off at some point last year, and then, of course, Tyler Glasnow, who couldn't finish the season. So if you're able to go out there and get somebody who, we can loosely say you're taking a little bit of a flyer on Roki just because he's still young. He's not fully polished yet. But when you're talking about the talent per dollar, there's nobody better. And to hear the Dodgers are frontrunners, of course, they already have Shohei Otani in that clubhouse. They have Yoshinobu Yamamoto in that clubhouse. You hear Dodgers are front runners.
Starting point is 00:05:38 We know a lot of people around the league are really mad to hear that. A lot of baseball fans are mad to hear that, but it would be exciting to see him in Dodger Blue. What do you think of, what do you think of Rokey? What do you think of the sweepstakes? Who do you think is in the mix? Well, we had a great conversation on Fair Territory with Ken Rosenthal, with Kyle Gleaser, who used to write for baseball America now does a lot of things with MLB.com. And he has covered the Japanese pitching market and the international market,
Starting point is 00:06:04 probably better than anybody else. In fact, he was the first American journalist reporter that was granted a one-on-one with Shohei Otani. So he knows this market and the NPL, NPB, rather, very, very well. And I had a conversation with him on Fair Territory. Make sure you check out the entire episode, guys, because it's unbelievably insightful. And he said, because of the way that he's an international amateur and the international spending pool, every single team in baseball, all 30 teams have a shot at this, right? because even at the maximum of the pool,
Starting point is 00:06:35 each team is allowed to offer $12 million. Now, right now, the Dodgers have the most in terms of pool money. But depending upon when he's actually posted, it could be up to the full amount for all 30 teams. So we will see where he lands because he does have the opportunity to court all 30, and they in turn have the opportunity to court him as well. Now, he does have a very strong relationship with U. Darvish of the San Diego Padres, who was a mentor to him.
Starting point is 00:07:02 So maybe there is something. to be said there. But he also knows that Shohei Otani and Yoshinovo Yamamoto went to L.A. So maybe there's something to be said there as well. Now, this is a guy that if Chiba Lote went and waited to post him and posted him, let's say, after 2026, it could have been a $200 million price tag, right?
Starting point is 00:07:22 You had talked about the $325 for Yomamoto. But in fact, they're only probably going to get now high sixes or low sevens in terms of the return to the team. but what I found ironic is that the team is honoring the wish of Sasaki to be posted and play in Major League Baseball. So it's going to be a matter of all teams can be a player. Where does he want to pitch? Does he want to follow Darvish, his idol?
Starting point is 00:07:47 Does he want to be on the same team in the same rotation as Otani and Yamamoto? That remains to be seen. Let me ask you this, though. I would imagine just based on the way that Japanese pitcher go about their business and their routine, the Dodgers and, Kyle had mentioned this as well, we'll probably go to a six-man rotation to give these guys that extra day of rest. How do you feel about that? I love it. It was something I was expecting last season. Of course, health and injury issues kind of didn't give the Dodgers that opportunity.
Starting point is 00:08:17 But general manager Brandon Goams did say that at the GM meetings last week that more than likely, most likely the Dodgers will be now in an official six-man rotation situation next season, which is 100% the right call because you're going to have Shohei Otani, who, again, did not pitch in 2024, did not pitch a full season in 2023, and is coming off of surgery. Yamamoto is already part of that, you know, every six-day situation. The health, the innings kind of issues with Glasnow. You also have Tony Gonson coming back from injury, maybe a Dustin May, wherever he slots in. If it is in the rotation, he's coming back from injury, multiple injuries.
Starting point is 00:09:01 a throat thing, an elbow thing, falling apart, pets, heads falling off, all that kind of fun stuff. But it's about time for the Dodgers to enter that six-man rotation era. And given the fact that Sasaki is used to that, that Otani is used to that kind of from the past. And of course, Yamamoto was doing that for the greater part pitching every six day. It's 100% the right call. And if there is some talent laying around for the Dodgers with some of these arms coming back like Gonsolin, like May, it does open the door for everybody to kind of get innings. But gone are the days we see 200 inning pitchers.
Starting point is 00:09:37 That's for damn sure. Yeah, in fact, that's probably one of the knocks on him. If there is a knock, the 23-year-old Clint has yet to kind of show that durability expected of an ace. He has yet to throw 130 innings in a season tossing just 111 and 91 in the past two years. Come check this. I heard in TikTok have come together to create something new. I love it.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Where the world of TikTok meets your playlist. Three words that will change. your life. I Heart TikTok Radio. The biggest hits across IHeart Radio. What's trending for you on TikTok? Tell me a sound that's better than this. IHart TikTok Radio.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Plus TikTok's most influential creators all in one place. Search for IHard TikTok Radio. Make it a preset and stay connected all day. It's the new me and it's the old them. Everybody's on their journey. And your journey is different to this. This Woman's History Month, the podcast, If You Knew Better with Amber Grimes,
Starting point is 00:10:30 spotlights women who turn missteps into momentum and lessons into power. I think coming out of where I came from, I'm from the Bronx, I think I grew up really poor. I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life. And I'm like, my mom did a really good job of like, you step back and you're like, whoa, we, I don't know how we made it. So a lot of my life was like built out of like survival to get to the next place. It's like my drive, my like tunnel vision of like, I got to be better. I got to achieve this was off the strengths of like I want to make a better life for us.
Starting point is 00:11:06 If You Knew Better brings real talk from women who've lived it, unpacking career pivots, relationship lessons, and the mindset shifts that changed everything. Listen to If You Knew Better with Amber Grimes on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The more you listen to your kids, the closer you'll be. So we asked kids, what do you want your parents to hear? I feel sometimes that I'm not listened to. I would just want you to listen to me more often and evaluate situations with me and lead me towards success. Listening is a form of love. Find resources to help you support your kids and their emotional well-being at soundedouttogether.org.
Starting point is 00:11:47 That's sounded outtogether.org. Brought to you by the Ad Council and Pivotal. All right, a lot of talk, of course, around Major League Baseball of Roki Sasaki. as there should be. But we're going to talk about a couple of other things. Dodgers that we know are Dodgers before we welcome in Preston coming up here. So Mike Lopez, thanks for being a part of us here. Five dollar super chat. The three-headed monster idea for joining forces in the super team was already decided by Otani Yamamoto Sasaki while playing together for Japan during the maybe, you know, there is something to be said about playing together on that team and the WBC,
Starting point is 00:12:17 obviously, with Otani getting that final out against Mike Trout and what Yamamoto was able to do. And obviously Sasaki, while not fully developed, is. unbelievably talented as long as he can locate and as long as he can stay durable. Okay, this we know for certain. Joel Sherman reported first that the Dodgers intend on moving Mookie Betts back to the infield. Brandon Goem said the assumption right now is bets will move back to the infield in 2025, were needed at second or shortstop. Now, of course, he's kind of be bopped around all over the place because he is that talented and can be a right fielder with a, you know, heck of an arm and heck of a range, but it can also be a shortstop and a second basement.
Starting point is 00:12:57 So they already picked up the option on Miguel Rojas. He's coming back to the infield now. So what does that mean to you? Does that mean Lux is a tradable piece? Does that mean that, you know, Mookie is the shortstop of the future until his contract? I mean, what does this mean to you? Well, I will say we know Tommy Edmund's coming back. We know Miguel Rojas is coming back.
Starting point is 00:13:18 You have some good backup options at shortstop. I cannot see a world where they decide to try Mookie Betts back at shortstop. He is somebody who doesn't fail as a professional athlete. He kind of, I wouldn't say he failed, but he was not up to his own standard as a shortstop. His future is going to be at second base. They wanted to do it in 2024, a little bit of a false start, obviously with the Gavin Lucks situation. So Lucks needs to learn shortstop again, or he's very much a trade piece. But I don't see Mookie Betz, again, playing shortstop full-time, maybe part-time.
Starting point is 00:13:58 I know some people really want to see this guy here, Juan Soto, people trying to open the door now to Juan Soto. If right field is unoccupied, maybe Wonsodo come into the Dodgers. And the report is that they are expected to be very aggressive in their pursuit of Wandsodo. You know, we've had a little bit of conversations on Juan Soto. But first, what is your take on the Mookiei situation? And does it kind of maybe open a more clear door to a future with Wonsoto and Dodger Blue? The one thing that tells me all I need to know about Mookie Betts is he's a three-time World Series champion. The guy doesn't have to agree to move back to the infield.
Starting point is 00:14:39 And he's willing to do whatever it takes to make the team better and help the team win. you know it's probably a good move if that's where they want them to be it's not as hard on your body i don't believe to play second base as it is to play right field there's a lot less range that you have to cover at second base um and mookie's he's a quintessential athlete and like i said the other day i think he got second in a bowling tournament like two days after he won the world series like i'm sure he wasn't even practicing bowling um well though he probably has a bowling alley in his house actually i know he has a bowling alley in his house but um you know that's fine with me. But it does beg to the question of, okay, what does that mean for Lux?
Starting point is 00:15:15 Does Edmund play in the infielder? Is Edmund a center fielder? Does that mean with the opportunity to sign somebody for right field? Is that going to be Teasca Hernandez? Or is that going to be Juan Soto, who you could get three legitimate, you know, two, maybe a Oscar, a Teasca Hernandez and two, you know, a bullpen piece and a frontline starter with the money that you would spend on one Soto. I'm not surprised to hear the Dodgers are in the mix on Juan Soto. Of course. The Dodgers are on the mix of every major superstar, right? But so are the Yankees. So are the Mets. And like I said, for me, I don't necessarily need a Juan Soto. I need a Teasca Hernandez back. I need a really, really strong bullpen piece. And I could handle
Starting point is 00:15:57 another frontline starter depending upon what happens with Sasaki and whether or not, you know, they re-sign Bueller or what have you. But this is interesting because, yes, the Dodgers will be aggressive on this, but I think you can get so many pieces for what Juan Soto is going to cost you. And I think, you know, Juan Soto is an unbelievable offensive player. I know Mark Wiener keeps telling me he had the most assists in the outfield and right field. I get it. But he's not a two-way player. Players are challenging him in right field. That's why. Yeah. Yeah. He's not a two-way player and neither is Sasaki for that matter. But the point is it's interesting. So does this also mean with Mookie going to second that we get a Willie Adamus in this situation with right field opening up.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Maybe we get Tay Oscar back. Maybe we get Adomis at short. Yeah. So when we're talking to Juan Soto, yeah, the bottom line is if you can add a generational hitter, and I call him, you know, I say him, you know, his batting profile, it's as close as we've seen to a Barry Bonds in, well, since Barry Bonds retired. stands the steroids, Juan Soto is that kind of hitter. Now, he's looking at 13, 14, 15 years, you know, gobs of money and all that. And I understand, yes, if the Dodgers end up with Juan Soto, guess what? I'm going to be a very happy boy. He's, you know, generational talent, one of the best hitters in the game, if not the best hitter, pound for pound. But when you do talk about dispersing some of that money, filling some other holes, like you mentioned,
Starting point is 00:17:34 Teosker Hernandez, I love the idea of Willie Adamas, you know, coming. in to play some shortstop. Him and Mookie Betts side by side up the middle, that would be a beautiful sight. They're both boys. Like, they love each other. They clown on each other whenever the Dodgers and the Brewers have played each other, whether in Milwaukee or L.A.
Starting point is 00:17:52 So when you're looking at adding a glove up the middle where the Dodgers are pretty, you know, thin up the middle at shortstop. And he also, talking Willie Adamas, if he's somebody who maybe, you know, after Muncie moves on or retires or whatever it may be, after his contract is up, Willie Adamas has expressed that he's open. He's open to moving to third base if, you know, it kind of makes sense at the time. So if you're looking at somebody who kind of has more dimensions to his game, give me a Willie Adamas and some other pieces like you mentioned.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Give me, you know, another reliever. Give me also Teoska Hernandez back before I go Wonsoto. Again, they sign Wonsoto. I'm going to be a happy boy. But still. like I just think they're there I think there I would rather have three smaller pieces because you know you're only as good as the sum of your parts I'd rather have three smaller pieces that are really good I'll take a willie adomas I'll take a teaska Hernandez I'm sorry I'll take a back end of the bullpen guide for what it's going to cost God bless you to probably get a one Soto but that's neither yes I mean if they sign one Soto am I going to be bummed no but I'm just saying you could probably get three really good parts to for the sum then than just spending it on him. And by the way, for the record,
Starting point is 00:19:08 Max Muncie is not going to go away because I have sunk that ship and that was the dumbest idea I have ever had. So I am one to admit when I've been wrong, it came out completely wrong what I was trying to say. So I apologize, Dodgers Nation. Please get off my back. Listen, listen, you leaned into the dumbass part of Nostra dumbass.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Oh, I did. I did. I was like queen dumbass on that. I really appreciated you. Everybody and the kids and the dogs and the pets and the grandparents and everybody I offended with that idiotic take. That's why I'm not a front office person. That's why I'm the sideline reporter. I say two last things.
Starting point is 00:19:47 I do appreciate you making yourself your dork of the week last week on fair. And the last thing I'll say on Juan Soto, there is not a world where Steve Cohen is going to be outbid. One Soto is going to be a Met. Juan Soto is going to be a Met. But anyways. Yeah, no, I agree with you. All right. As Preston is coming up, we're going to introduce you to him in a moment, a graphic artist that has done a lot of great, great artwork with the Dodgers.
Starting point is 00:20:10 But prior to that, let's talk about Storyworth. We're so happy that you're here on Dodgers territory. Thank you so much. This holiday season, I want to give a gift to my loved ones that makes them honestly feel special and unique. And for me, that gift is Storyworth. All right, so I'm going to tell you guys how it works. After that year of input, a fun, Storyworth compiles those stories and photos in a beautiful keepsake, hardcover book that you're able to share and revisit for generations to come. So, you know, you're putting together, like a real, what do you call those? It's a yearbook. It's cool. That's pretty cool. It's a perfect book to pass along at family gatherings or read with your kids, beautifully orchestrated by Storyworth, and that's why it has more than 35,000 five-star reviews on Trust Pilot with millions of stories preserved since they were founded over 10 years ago.

Thank you so much Storyworth for being a part of Dodgers territory.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Come check this. I heart and TikTok have come together to create something new. I love it. Where the world of TikTok meets your playlist. Three words that will change your life. I heart TikTok radio. The biggest hits across IHeart Radio. What's trending for you on TikTok?
Starting point is 00:21:56 Tell me a sound that's better than this. Plus TikTok's most influential creators all in one place. Search for IHard TikTok Radio. Make it a preset and stay connected all day. And also, we wanted to say thank you to Preston for being a part of Dodgers territory. We were so happy to have you on the show. Thanks so much. And I, you know, you're a graphic artist.
Starting point is 00:22:21 You were a self-proclaimed coffee drinker. You also said that you were the type of guy that everybody hated because you did everything well. But you weren't good enough Preston to be a. professional athlete, but you always wanted to be, and it transformed itself into your artwork. Tell us more. Hey, so I am a licensed artist with Major League Baseball, and I actually do a bunch of other licensed brands. But yeah, like you said, I was a sports fan too, and like all of us.
Starting point is 00:22:48 And I always wanted to be in sports. I was actually in sports broad. I tried the camera in front of the camera. And it never sort of felt like I'm all the way into the game. And I somehow in my later life realized that I was going to design and do artwork. And that sort of became, it blew up. It became licensed. A lot of the baseball fans found out about my artwork.
Starting point is 00:23:15 And now it's my career to draw the sights and sounds. And you can see Preston's work at a gallery there in Anaheim. He is in Southern California. But of course, we're not going to talk about the Angels. We're going to talk about the Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles. So Preston, let's talk about the piece that you just came out with. It's the minimalist artwork there in 2024, obviously, of the Dodgers World Series trophy with the famous palm trees. Tell us a bit more about your art and this minimalist style.
Starting point is 00:23:44 So the idea of minimalism isn't about just super simple or super nothing. The idea of minimal is less is more. So the idea is that if I show as little as possible, and that's what art is. part is an emotional connection to the things that we're as as a as a as a I'm a season ticket holder for the Dodgers so I'm I'm around the Dodgers all the time and the Dodger fans come all and to sort of do something that's very iconic and simple but but something that you know screen celebrate us as Dodger fans winning this major trophy is was sort of the the idea of this.
Starting point is 00:24:29 I've been doing minimal stadium art since 2015 for the league, and age year is always a different celebrate that that city's championship and what connects to that to you as a fan. So as we're looking here is the original
Starting point is 00:24:47 artwork that I did was the minimal stadium series. Many of you may have seen them. This is a minimal stodger stadium. Just very very clean, but if you've been there, you know it. You know the stadium. So that's in this piece actually hangs both in the owner's bunk stadium and also in the broadcast booth. I've been celebrating my artwork for many, many years.
Starting point is 00:25:18 You know, I'll say I also probably had a pretty unlicensed version of that as my wallpaper on my phone for a fair amount of time. It's a beautiful piece. Oh, great. Yeah, yeah, love that one. So, yeah, let's talk about, I mean, you're Canadian by trade or Canadian by birth. But Dodgers fan, how do you, you know, how did baseball kind of become your, I guess, job in a way? How do you find that connective tissue and what was sort of the steps to get to where you're at today working alongside, you know, baseball? There's other, you know, we know you also work with like cartoons, bugs bunnies in there, Elmo and all that. What's kind of the step? to get from baseball fandom to where you're at now? Well, we got a hockey fan, actually, because I'm Canadian. So I was a big, big hockey fan growing up in Vancouver, Canada. And it was about 92, 93 is when the Blue Jays won. And I slowly started flipping the channel.
Starting point is 00:26:16 And there's a hockey game, baseball game. I started flipping over to the baseball game more often and started to really, really embrace the game itself. And so I'm baseball hockey. fan. I think the art world kind of blew up when I had this idea doing the minimalist ballparks. And I thought, you know, as a fan, it's interesting to you guys talking about the players. And I love talking about the players. But as an artist, I'm more gravitate to the sights and sounds of baseball, the culture of baseball, how baseball makes us feel. And so that's how the
Starting point is 00:26:51 art world sort of mesh with baseball for me. We remember the ballparks. We remember the mascots. Those are the things that will sort of carry with us for a very long time as a sportsman. And I just felt that that was the connection that I want to celebrate with baseball art. Clint had mentioned Elmo, Marvin the Martian, Bugs Bunny. How did you get kind of into those childhood characters that we all kind of grew up and loved in many different ways, whether it was, you know, watching Bugs Bunny cartoons or, you know, watching the Marvin Martian cartoon
Starting point is 00:27:30 or just obviously everybody, everybody loves Elbow. Tell us more about that. Oh, so yeah, it's, it's, it drives my business partner crazy because I have this very minimal, it's very organized art form. And then I have this crazy cartoon side of me. That's, that's all hand illustrated. So once again, we, we're connecting to us as a sports fan. My memories of a sports fan is us in the morning as a kid. going to the game, talking to dad about sports or watching on TV. And it's very similar to being to cartoons on Saturday morning. So to be able to, I started melding them together.
Starting point is 00:28:11 I was drawing Disney princesses actually originally in different bases. And that started translated into getting noticed by, sorry, some of these cartoon brands, including Looney Tunes and Sesame Street. That's sort of the connection that I'm trying to create is what is our childhood and how do we as sports fans become connected as we're kids. But also there's a lot of dads and there's a lot of parents out there. And I always feel that both of those designs, the minimalist artwork, the stadium art and the cartoon art are more than the man cave. I call them living room art or kids' room art. They should belong to other rooms of the house.
Starting point is 00:28:54 and there's a lot of great sports artists out there that do, that do care, sorry, athletes, but my pieces are kind of different. They belong in the kids' room. They should connect to the kids or connect to you as a parent or connect to you in your office. Well, nothing connects to kids more than Looney Tunes and obviously Disney and, of course, baseball. And I remember when I purchased some great Christmas cards, some holiday cards from you of the snowmen going up to grab the ball, you know, kind of like that snow cone grab over the fence for holiday cards. So that's, that's a lot of fun to your artwork is, is so much. It's just, it just brings joy. It is.
Starting point is 00:29:31 It is fun art. Do you have a piece, Preston, that is your most memorable piece or something that sticks out to you is either one that you're most proud of or maybe one that, you know, kind of gave you the most, most grief in creating it? Well, so when I originally decided to do all 30 minimalist ballparks, some of them are very straightforward. If you ever see the collection, there's, you know, the freeze in Yankee Stadium, there's the main sign in in Kansas City, the sort of the Crown Vision in Kansas City. But some of the stadiums are very difficult. So they all took a definitely a challenge. They're trying to figure out what is that minimalist part of the stadium that resonates to us as sports fans. And
Starting point is 00:30:13 some of the harder ones were like Washington. I was at a real struggle with it. And I remember someone saying, hey, the president's race, that's a real, that's a huge part. It's not actually the stadium, but it's actually part of the experience at the ballpark. So getting through all 30 ballparks as a collection was difficult, but that was actually something I'm very, very proud of. I mean, all 30 pieces are in the Hall of Fame. They're hung around a lot of stadiums around the country. So it is kind of my hero artwork that if I die, that's the piece that I want, those 30 ballparks is what I want everyone to remember with. That must have a morbid thought. No, no, I get it. I get it. It's the, it's the,
Starting point is 00:30:51 legacy that you are leaving behind. As I mentioned, Preston has a beautiful art gallery in the Anaheim area. How else can fans kind of check out your work and see what you do? I'm on S.Prestondesigns.com. And also, you'll see my artwork on MLB, the Dodgers, MLB shop for the Dodgers. But yes, S.Prestenddesigns.com is where all my artwork is. All right, S. Prestondesigns.com. You heard it here. Thank you so much for bringing your creativity and your passion for the game to us. I have a couple of your pieces, and I'm honored. Thanks so much for joining us on Dodgers territory, Preston.
Starting point is 00:31:26 You take care. Thanks, Lana. Thank you, thank you. Let's get into last election, Lana. All right, let's do it. Time now to introduce you to Bernadette. I know we've talked about Bernadette before, but I will not stop until Bernie has a home.
Starting point is 00:31:43 There she is in the Denver Broncos shirt until the stupid 35-yard ship shot was blocked by the Kansas City Chiefs to give him a 9-0 record, but I am not bitter at all. That is fine. The Denver Broncos lose, but Bernadette Clint is a winner. All right, so Bernadette is almost six months old. In fact, she'll be six months old in three days. She's fully vaccinated.
Starting point is 00:32:02 She's going to get spayed on November 19th. Right now, she is being fostered at a great home in Scottsdale, Arizona, but she needs a forever home. She is ready to be your family member for life. So please reach out to us. She is an American bulldog and German Shepherd Mix gets along with other dogs. great with kids. She's just wonderful. So please reach out to goodwaysguardian.org or myself on social. To learn more information about Bernadette. Okay, thought for the road, Clint. Congratulations
Starting point is 00:32:32 to Clayton McCullough, who has just been officially named the manager of the Miami Marlins. Congratulations to him. Another first base coach has been taken away from us. But isn't that what you want, though? And that's kind of my thought for the road. Don't you want a coaching staff underneath an unbelievable manager? that you want to get picked off because it means that they're really good. Yeah, I mean, Clayton McCullough, you know, first base coach isn't really one of those sexy, glamorous jobs. Usually you hear a lot more about the third base coach, especially when they do something wrong or they send somebody. You know, they pull a little Giancarlo Stanton move in the playoffs there in the World Series.
Starting point is 00:33:11 But yeah, it just shows, again, how good the Dodgers are at identifying talent. This is a dude who joined the organization about 10 years ago. was the, I think the farms director for a chunk of time before joining the team after they lost first base coach, George Lombard, who was also in the mix for that Miami Marlins job. But it's more than just the first base coach you're losing here because he was the outfield coach for the club. He was also a big time proponent in the base running side of things for this team. some people have kind of attributed a lot of show hey Otani success, Otani success stealing bases this year to what Clayton McCullough passed down to the organization or passed down to the players there on the field.
Starting point is 00:33:58 So it will be a big loss. You know, congrats, like you said, congrats to him finally getting his job. He's been a minor league manager in his life. Now he finally gets to do it at the show level. So well, well deserved for Clayton McCullough. Yeah, I had a quick text exchange with him. He said, thanks very much.
Starting point is 00:34:12 we are really excited. Appreciate you're reaching out, and I will need those recommendations. And the recommendations he's talking about is Cuban food restaurants, because I am Cuban, and when I think of Miami, I think of Cuban food.
Starting point is 00:34:22 So congratulations to the entire McCullough family. All right, what is coming up on all Dodgers with Clint Cusis? Starting point is 00:34:44 Check it out on my YouTube channel. But I want to know how Dodgers fans are feeling at the moment about this team. I know people are really hit and miss on about we'll say show Hey Otani is a divisive character. So I want to hear other people's thoughts rather than just my own or yours on
Starting point is 00:35:00 the internet or my other guy who does You don't mean Shohei. Juan Soto. Yeah, you said show Hey Othony. He's not divisive at all. He has a dog for him. Yeah, yeah. So on Soto. Want so. Yeah, yeah. The other guy, he's a World Series champion, so he works. We knew what you meant. All right, make sure you listen in to all Dodgers with Clint Pistias tonight.
