All right.
Time now, my friend.
Happy post Thanksgiving to you as well.
Let's get to the big ticket.
Let's do it.
This is exciting, Clint Pesias, because I'm glad the Dodgers front office did not listen
to me.
I'm glad that they did not send Tommy Edmund to another team.
Tommy Edmund, in fact, is not going to another team.
He, in fact, is staying with the Los Angeles on a five-year, $74 million contract
extension with the Dodgers. Jeff Passan reporting this on the 29th. It's going to go through the 29th season.
It includes a sixth year club option, a $17 million signing bonus. And of course, as we've become
accustomed to with the Dodgers, deferred money of about 17 million, well, deferred money,
the signing bonus is 17 million. There is some deferred money. AAB slightly over 13 million.
Let's go. I was very excited to see this. I saw that he had a conversation over the weekend.
with David Vasay. He too is making it official. This is good for the Dodgers. This is good for
Tommy Edmund. I like this move. Yeah, great move. This was a guy that we've heard for a while now.
The Dodgers were very in on Tommy Edmund for quite some time. He comes over to the Dodgers.
Doesn't get to play immediately because he's dealing with some injuries, but he joins the team,
settles in nicely in a utility role, becomes a starting shortstop for the team in the postseason,
goes out and wins an NLCS MVP.
The Dodgers don't win that World Series without the services of Tommy Edmund.
And now he's going to be here for a nice chunk of time.
Great for Tommy Edmund.
Good bit of money.
Great for the team.
And it just adds to that collection of talent that the Dodgers have around for the next,
really through the 2020s.
As TK Hernandez told us during the parade, the 2020s, it's the Dodgers decade.
And they are stacked, locked, and low.
voted with talent. I love it because this is a kid that was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016
amateur draft, obviously by the St. Louis Cardinals. He had some injury issues, some question
marks, if you will, coming over as a Dodger. But to your point, this is somebody that Andrew Friedman
and the Dodgers front office had coveted for quite some time, probably as much as for whatever
reason the Colorado Rockies have coveted Chris Bryant. We see how well that's working out. But this is
something that the Dodgers had their eye on as far as Tommy Edmund. And look at what
he did in the postseason and not only you know the national league championship series and now
there's something to be said about security as well right you got to love the fact that he's locked
up for quite some time not looking over his shoulder anymore where am i going to go what am i going
to do that being said though with that lockup what does that mean in terms of who is it shutting
the door on is it lux is it ct3 as a tradable piece is it kike not coming back what say you it's a
Great question. I mean, right now, we know Chris Taylor is on the roster. We know Tommy Edmonds on the roster.
Miguel Rojas is on the roster for at least another season. Kike Hernandez is currently a free agent.
But Kike Hernandez, another guy who can put this team on his back when you get into postseason play, played phenomenal center field, played phenomenal third base when needed.
I think you need to make some moves. I think you need to be a little creative and open a roster spot for Keeleh.
Kike Hernandez because, listen, Chris Taylor is entering his final year under team control.
Very much maligned character at this point in time.
If I'm, you know, I have my say about it.
I'm bringing back Kike Hernandez, finding a way to trade CT3.
But right now, to the question, I think this forces a team to do what they're already going to be doing.
They have to be creative.
Andrew Friedman's making phone calls.
He's talking to other teams about making some moves.
And hopefully, we do.
see somebody like Kiki coming back to this roster. I mean, I've always said that I want Kiki on every
roster, and especially, obviously, in the postseason, but this is what you're getting with
locking up Tommy Edmund to this deal. Obviously, a guy that has a 263 lifetime batting average,
OBP of 317, but more importantly, and this is what the Dodgers love to do, is they love that versatility.
They love those supposed utility players, you know, that can play all over the field. And that's
exactly what Tommy Edmund gives you. So congratulations to Tommy Edmund and his family. Nice job as far as
that's concerned. He is locked down for quite some time. And Clint, he is not the only one.
If you take a look at the amount of contracts as far as long term commitments from both sides of the
equation, this is coming from Fox Sports. We appreciate the graphic here. Look at the long term contracts as
far as the Dodgers are concerned. As you can see, the caption is not wrong. It says the Dodgers will be
stacked for a long time.
Yoshinobo Yamamoto,
2035. I can't even
tell you what I'm doing in 2025,
but Yoshinobu Yamamoto knows what he's doing
up until 2035.
Yeah, there is a lot of team control
here. There's a lot of consistency
we're going to see on the roster for this
Dodgers team. And if we're
continuing the idea of, you know,
the 2020s being the decade of the Dodgers,
having all of those do you,
in place. Having essentially, you know, four aces at the top of your rotation through the late
2020s, you're in an incredible spot as an organization. Now it's just finding some, some cheaper guys,
you know, through the system to kind of pan out, seeing what kind of trades you can do. We know
Gavin Lux is probably somebody on the trade block unless he suddenly finds the, you know, the magic
potion to play shortstop. You don't know exactly, well, we know. I mean, Mookie Betts is going to be
playing second base, whatever, I'm kind of bouncing all around here.
But the thing is, to have that much team control, to have your starting rotation locked up,
that's the thing I like the most about it.
And we'll talk Blake Snell signing official in just a little bit.
But I do want to go back a little bit with this Tommy Edmund thing.
I want to ask you, because as of now, we just had Dino Evil join us a couple days ago.
And he didn't give us a very straightforward answer.
He told us Mookie Betts could be a gold glove second baseman, but we don't know.
We really don't know that shortstop plan.
is it going to be Tommy Edmund?
Do you think we could see Tommy Edmund for the greater part being the shortstop for this team in 25 and maybe beyond?
Yeah, that's the question.
I mean, is it going to be a super utility for the length of the contract?
I mean, is this is this a guy that's going to constantly being moved around the field,
a la Chris Taylor, a la Kiki Hernandez,
or are they going to make sure that he's the cornerstone in the middle of the infield at short,
or perhaps he's the cornerstone in center field?
because I do believe that they're going to re-sign to Oscar Hernandez.
I hope and pray that that happens.
Extenteo, we got to get that in there every single show here on Dodgers territory.
But I don't know.
Where do you see Tommy Edmund having more value?
Is it the middle of the infield to complement Mookie Betts at second base with
Miguel Rojas kind of serving as a rover and as a player coach?
He's not going to play every single day.
Miguel Rojas is not.
Or do you see the value of him because Kevin Kiermeyer is gone?
James Outman, we don't know.
Andy Pahas, we're not certain.
Teasca Hernandez is probably in right.
Mookie Betz is no longer in the outfield.
Is he better suited to be the anchor, the captain, if you will, in center?
Right now, yeah, with the, we'll say the overall health of the starting outfield,
especially with no Teasca Hernandez.
Like, you need Tommy Edmund in center field.
He's your kind of one true center fielder.
we don't know if we ever see James Outman kind of producing at the major league level again.
So Tommy Edmund's your best centerfielder.
You kind of need to have a center fielder out there.
And there's no true center fielder otherwise with if they do bring back to Oscar Hernandez.
He's a corner guy.
Andy Paez is a corner guy.
So to have him in center, you do feel a lot better.
It utilizes the wheels better than, let's say, at short,
where they also have a lot of infield depth right now with Mookie moving into the infield.
maybe there's some sort of platoon with Miguel Rojas and it all circles back to Gavin Lux
needs to be able to play shortstop for this team or they need to get themselves a shortstop
or a center fielder.
And if we're talking, getting ahead a little bit, we don't plan on talking a whole lot of
Willie Adomas in this show, but if they're not going to be in on Willie Adomas, you know,
like the shortstop situation while there are options, I'm still a little wary about, you know,
those two key positions when you're looking at shortstop and center field.
Well, you can't hide somebody.
Yeah, and you can't hide somebody at short.
I think you can hide somebody at first base.
You can hide somebody in a couple of other places around the diamond,
but you can't hide short.
And I think you need to, again, I am not willing to give up on Gavin Lux yet,
although I will say if they could get a Willie Adonis,
I might say that perhaps Gavin's better suited on another team where he can get more playing time.
But in the event that they don't get Willie Adamas, the learning curve at shortstop needs to be quick because Miguel Rojas cannot play there every single day.
He obviously is a quality talent there, gold glove second or a shortstop rather, but he can't play there every single day just based on wear and tear on the body.
So I think right now Tommy Edmund is our center fielder.
I think we have a lot of pieces going into spring training to figure out the middle of the infield.
We already know first.
We already know third.
So we'll see what happens there as far as spring training and the way that.
the Domino's fault. All right, much more to talk about the Blake Snell signing, but first let's get
a quick word from Eric Crats and Scott Braun with our friends at Storyworth. Let's do it.

Hi, Dad.
And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen.

Right.
Just finished five years.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at my mom.
Yeah.

Time now for Bleeding Blue.
No, it's not.
Not at all.
I just want to give our homies at StoryWorth a shout-out.
Thank you so much for being a part of Dodgers territory.
We appreciate you guys so much.
Okay, so it is now official, officially, officially official, officially, officially, official.
Because we know that Blake Snell put it on his own Instagram page, obviously.
But then the Dodgers also said, welcome to Los Angeles.
I'm going to go ahead and say it's official.
It's pretty official, Lana.
So welcome to the Dodgers, Blake Snell.
I tell you what, I mean, this is a two-time Sy Young Award winner.
This is not somebody that I enjoyed facing, but this is somebody that I will enjoy being in our rotation.
I mean, one of the few players out there, Clint, that has won a Syung Award in both leagues,
already a solid rotation, and it just got even better.
We needed that left-handed arm.
What is your opinion of the deal?
What was your initial reaction?
I love this deal.
I said it last week.
Love, love, love this deal.
Blake's now in the Dodger rotation for the next five years.
Just makes so much sense.
They needed a lefty.
They needed somebody with strikeout stuff that could be the top of that rotation.
he can start game one, game two, game three, you know, game one of the next series when you get into October.
It's a perfect addition.
And when you know, he takes a lot of crap about his innings and all of this.
But when he's right, he posts, he goes out there and you add that to the Glasnow, Yamamoto,
bringing back Shohei Otani or bringing Shohei Otani into the starting rotation.
You just got, it's a wealth of pitches for this Dodgers starting.
rotation. And then there's still other pieces. They're going to bring back Clayton Kershaw. We know he's there.
Tony Gonsland in the mix. You don't know what Dustin May's future is going to be probably in the bullpen.
There's still a Roki Sasaki factor. And there's a Walker Bueller factor, which we talked about that last
week. I wonder if I said, I think the door is closed. I keep kind of flip-flopping on this,
but love Snell in this rotation.
It's a great, it's a perfect signing for this team.
But it might be just what the perfect storm would be to get Walker Bueller back, right?
So if you don't necessarily think that Walker's going to get a long-term deal,
which you and I think both agree that Walker's not going to get a long-term deal right now,
maybe he comes back for a year at an AAV that the Dodgers are happy with,
that each side can be comfortable with,
Walker proves himself one more year.
And then it's like, okay, there's that other compliment.
I understand it's a right-handed arm.
I wouldn't mind having another lefty in the rotation, but whatever.
But I don't think that the door is closed on Walker.
I don't think, like I said,
I don't think it's going to be a long-term deal on Walker.
But I wanted to address what you were talking about with the innings.
And if it looks like I'm looking away, it's because I am.
But I'm looking up for Jason Stark, who tweeted on November 27th,
the theory, Dodgers signed Blake's Nell,
because they don't care if he gives them innings.
The reality, he's the workhorse.
And let me tell you why Jason's saying this,
because in career innings pitched in terms of the high
of all of Major League Baseball, not just on the Dodgers staff,
Snell has 180 and two-thirds innings in his career.
Otani 166, Stone, 140 and a third.
Glasnow, 134.
Gonsal in 130 and a third.
Yamamoto, 90.
He had 193 and two-thirds in Japan.
And May with 56.
her shot was the last one to throw 180 innings, Clint,
and that was back in 2015.
So listen, we're saying, well, we don't need him to throw innings.
He's not that durable.
But in fact of the matter is, he is pretty durable.
And when you come over to L.A., you don't have to be the man,
because every single person on the roster is the man.
So he can do what he needs to do,
and he doesn't have to throw a complete game shut out every single day.
If you get Lasnow healthy back, you get Joe Hattani,
maybe not for O'Donnie.
opening day, but, you know, early on in the season, Yamamoto can start building himself up again.
Goncelin's healthy. You move me to the bullpen. I keep saying that. You put Walker in there
for a one year, $15, $17 million deal. There's your rotation. Done. Yeah, when we had some great
questions in here, too, in the chat. We'll get to those in a second. I started noodling in my brain
a little bit. It hurt. I promise you it did hurt. But thinking out the endings because, yeah, we know
these guys, they're not, the rotation is not going to be flush with dudes that are trying to
pitch into the seven. They're all going to try to pitch into the seventh. They're all going to hope
to pitch into the seventh. But that's not going to be the Dodgers game plan. They don't care
about April, May, June. They care about September. They care about October. So you keep these guys
healthy. You keep them, you know, loose moving, keep the shoulders, you know, arm care. We know that now
it's after Thanksgiving. Mark Pryor told us the organization is going to get together to kind of
maybe hopefully find something when it comes to all the injury bugaboo's that
afflicted this organization last year.
We know they're going to a six-man rotation.
If each guy gets, you know, whatever, let's say 27 starts, it's an imperfect six-man
rotation.
But I think the point is I think you could find 24 to 27 starts for Walker Bueller in there.
And he's still around for if and when there's an injury at the end of the season.
Again, we saw Yalamoto had to get.
real lucky for that shoulder to come back together. Glass now didn't pitch after August 11th.
You know, Flaherty's gone. He's super sad about it, by the way. You need to have all of these
pieces so you keep adding. If you do add, there is room. I decided I'm flipping my script. I'm
flipping what I said from last Wednesday. There is room for Walker Bueller. I think he wants to be
back as well. There's no reason to not bring him back. I want to find the comment here. Kevin Yuhas,
A friend of the show says the other part of it, too, is like, will the analytics department,
will the Dodgers brain trust even let Snell or some of the other pitchers go deep into games,
deep, you know, will they be at Kevin Cash and take him out after, you know, five and a third
or six innings, whatever it is, just because, oh, though, numbers say this.
Is it part of that?
Is it part of protecting?
Or is it going to be Dave now in his, in his, you know, Taylor's era?
And Taylor's edition, he's having fun.
He's kind of managing more with the heart.
No, I really think it's injury dictates.
I don't think the daughters would have been playing this sort of chess match, albeit it was a great one.
I don't think they would have been playing that had they not needed to.
I mean, Dave Roberts and Mark Pryor and the front office and the staff and the whole thing,
the whole organization was doing everything they could to get to the ultimate prize,
which was not only going to the World Series, but obviously winning it.
Of course they would like to have every single guy healthy.
Let's say we do go to a definite six-man rotation.
Would we love it if every guy gave us six innings and we had the freshest bullpen in all
of the land?
Of course.
But that never happens, right?
So they're going to have to figure out ways to win every given day to get.
We know that the daughters are going to the postseason, right?
I mean, that's just a foregone conclusion every year.
They're going to go to the postseason.
That's the way that this team is built.
Thank goodness.
But it doesn't mean that they're going to go deep into the postseason like they did this year.
And again, I will say this until I'm blue in the face, put it on my tombstone, even
know I don't want to be buried.
I want to be cremated in case anybody is wondering.
You cannot buy championships.
You can buy really good players, but it does not guarantee a championship.
So the best teams are the ones that adjusts the best.
Let me ask you this quickly.
Do you think if they now have Snell in the bag, which they do, he is the one that actually
got the bag, but now that they have him, let's say Walker comes back.
Do you go after Sasaki?
Even if you don't get Walker, even if you don't get Walker, do you get
Sasaki. So that's great. We do have a question from our mailbag. We did. And we kind of,
we kind of fumbled the bag on the mailbag. Technically, the Blake Snell signing fumbled our
bag on the mailbag. So we'll eventually do this more right, everybody, when we do
drop another mailbag. To the question, I would think it has to. I think there's so much star
power now on this team. If Roki wants to be the man, he's
not going to be anywhere close to the man in L.A. And yeah, I mean, he's going to develop into an ace.
He will have the best tools available in Dodger Blue in the Dodger organization. But, again, there's so much talent there.
I would not be shocked to see him decide to, you know, take his talents elsewhere. Maybe San Diego, where he does have a friend in U.
Darvish. I hope I'm wrong. I will say I hope I'm wrong. We'd love to see Roki Sasaki in a Dodger uniform.
you know, all the pundits are still saying the Dodgers are the frontrunners, you know, through all of the secret handshake BS and everything.
But again, with the incredible wealth of talent, if they bring back Walker, I can't see a Roki deal.
I really don't.
I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him.
Hi, dad.
And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen.
She says, I have some cooking.
He's in milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.

Speaking of the stuff, the BS that's never going to happen, do we give any merit to the Nolan
Arranado rumors? Was I on to something with my dumbass prediction a couple of months or a couple of
weeks ago, whatever the heck it was? We know the man wants to be traded. Nobody wants to play
for St. Louis right now. The Cardinals philosophy is not what it used to be, Cardinals away.
They would probably like to move that contract. He's from Southern California.
He's always wanted to play for L.A.
And he posted this and everybody lost their shit.
Oh, wait, not that one.
This one.
This is the one right here.
Posted on his Instagram, a photo, a real, whatever the hell you call those,
a slideshow with his family and doing things.
And that new Kendrick Lamar song, Dodger Blue pops up.
And everybody's like, oh, my God, Nolan Aeronado's being traded to the Dodgers.
And I will tell you, one of the first things I thought of was like,
I really want this to happen because I want to see you take a much deserved victory lap for at least being on to something because I thought entering this off season.
At least a third part of the equation.
The fact that he would be.
33.3% of the equation is something that I could be correct on.
Okay.
So we know that Edmund is staying and we know that Muncie's probably staying, right?
But I mean, listen, I am not going to, I am not going to poo poo, Noel and Aronado in a Dodger uniform.
That to me is the one player that could come and completely revitalize himself and completely.
and completely have that like passion, again, to give you the numbers that you are wanting from Nolan Aeronato.
Yeah.
We got a comment right here from our friend Phil Fountain.
Fountain.
I actually don't know how to pronounce the, how he pronounces the last name.
It's spelled Fountain.
But he says Aeronado makes no sense at all.
And I disagree with that because he still, yeah, it was a down year in 2024, but it's still Nolan F and Aeron
He's still a year younger than Max Muncie.
I love Max, but if you can make a seismic improvement at third base and add a one of the best
defensive third baseman of all time, even at 34, he's still better, you know, than Max
Muncie is a third baseman.
And Max made some massive strides as a three beat.
Oh, is that right?
Is that right?
But then there's the Max factor.
Like he's he's one of these.
I'm not saying you have to trade Max.
I'm not saying you have to trade Max.
But if you don't, where do you play Max Muncie?
Yeah, he can play some Thursday.
Dylan McKay.
Yeah, Dylan McKay in our chat said move Muncie to left field.
Obviously, that's tongue in chief.
I mean, ha ha.
It's a funny ha ha from Dylan McKay.
I don't know where you put Max.
I love Max.
But I'm just saying I'm not, I'm not like anti-Noranato in a Dodger uniform.
I don't know.
Listen, I don't have any answers.
I just have options.
I just don't have any like, it's not my money.
I can spend money with the best of them.
Yeah, the whole idea is, is you want to get the team better on paper,
but at the same time, there's important, you know, factors in that clubhouse.
And there are a few more important factors in that Dodger clubhouse than Max Muncie these days.
Like, he is the front-facing guy.
He is the Justin Turner.
Yeah, he.
He needs to stay.
And, you know, again, Nolan Aeronado, phenomenal player, would love to see Nolan Aeronado finally be a Los Angeles Dodger.
We were told several years ago that it would be done by Christmas.
He would be a Dodger.
Of course, Dick Monfort is a moron, another moron owner running the Colorado Rockies, did not trade him there.
Took a worst deal to send him to the St. Louis Cardinals.
We don't need to rehash that.
You would love to have Nolan Aronado, but you need to make it fit.
How about if the flipping Cardinals trade, I mean, he probably has no trade clause in his contract,
but how about if the flipping Cardinals trade him to the Angels because Anthony Rendon never plays?
Okay, let's get back.
Now we're getting way, veering way off into the things that are never going to happen.
All right.
So speaking of that, is Nolan less likely to be a Dodger than this Carlos Correa bullshit, bullshit coming?
as a shortstop to LA.
Oh, God, listen, I've seen people in the chat
already bringing up the Carlos Correa thing.
I'm going to tell you right now,
people who watch my show,
no, we do the grain of salt,
you know, meter or whatever.
This is all of the salt in the world.
There's nothing to this.
This is Carlos Baegra,
former Major League second baseman,
just saying some words and a...
Yeah, but he has broken some stuff.
I don't think...
I don't think the Carlos Baez guy is breaking news here
that Correier.
I mean, the world would have to end for Carlos Correa to become the Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop.
I don't know about that far because, again, there is a need for a shortstop.
The twins never really wanted Correa long term.
I will say people who watch me on my old, old show, know that I was barking for somebody like a Correa a couple years ago,
because I think you move on past the trash cans.
You move on past the BS of 2017.
If it's a piece of talent that can help you win a World Series,
you go out there and you try to acquire it.
But somebody who had a deal with the Giants and it was rejected,
somebody who had a deal with the Mets and it was rejected,
somebody who's, he had a great year in 2024,
but he also only played like 110 games.
He's injury prone.
He's an injury prone shortstop.
We got enough of those in a little, you know,
in a way with like a Miguel Rojas around Gavin Lux or whatever.
You got enough of those kind of problems.
But then you bring in the whole backstory, and I think it's a hard sell for a Dodger front office that's doing everything right right now.
It's doing everything fans love to go out and get somebody who cheated.
Like I said, I don't care.
I understand the idea of, you know, bringing in talent.
I care.
I care.
I have a National League Championship ring and not a World Series ring from that year.
I care.
I know a lot of guys in that clubhouse that got completely raw.
of certain things.
I know Aaron, you know, Aaron Judge getting robbed of an MVP.
Like when we were pissed that Matt Kemp got robbed of the MVP because of Ryan Braun.
Yeah.
I care.
All right.
We're moving on.
So anyway.
I'll say it's worth noting.
Players have also moved on from this.
I've spoken with players from that 2017 teams who told me, yeah, we thought something a little
nefarious was going on.
And also they've, you know,
kissed and made up.
They have been teammates with, you know, players from that 2017 Astros team.
point you know you move on um astros found a loophole and really went hard in the paint taking
advantage of it and you know yeah there were pieces of shit but still at least they were punished
oh yeah right at least they weren't granted at least they weren't granted immunity all right
let's now talk about something that we can both agree on and love um dogs let's get to leslix
i'm in all right everybody this is liberty liberty was rescued out of the divorce shelter with
about 30 minutes to spare before she was going to be euthanized for no reason. She is such a good
dog. She is good with cats. She is good with small dogs. She is good with larger dogs. She is healthy.
She is young. She is vaccinated. She is about to get her pre-spay appointment tomorrow. And then she'll
be spayed in about a couple of months. She's young. She's about a year and a half old. Great with kids.
Please reach out. She is a wonderful, wonderful pup. She's in the foster home right now.
but she would love nothing more to be your forever, forever companion.
Shout out on my socials or check out giddreysguardian.org to learn more about liberty.
All right.
Before we get to what's coming up on your show, who is the first domino to fall as far as the big free agents?
Again, I am not putting these two in the same category.
I just needed another person.
Is it Juan Soto or is it Alex Bregman?
Again, not apples to apples, which one signs?
first. At this point, I think it's going to be Juan Soto, which is really shocking. I thought his
free agency would run deeper into this offseason, but we're hearing some rumors, seeing some
reports that he could be close to making his decision possibly this week so it can be announced
at the winter meetings. I think it's going to be Wonsoto. I think we're seeing how quick Scott
Boris is moving this winter. He doesn't want to repeat. He does not want to repeat of last winter.
So that's my answer right there.
Yeah, but Gregman's also his client.
Yeah, but Brighman, another noted cheater, mind you.
Bregman, this seems like there's, he's a tier below and people are more interested.
Can we get the highest name?
And if we can't, all right, let's reset our focus and maybe the Blue Jays are going to be in on Breggman.
I initially had Breggman going to the Yankees in my, you know, noster dumbass of my other show.
But, yeah, between those two, I think it will be Juan Soto going first.
But I'll ask you this.
We see Ken Rosenthal today, our friend, your colleague,
I guess technically my indirect colleague here on the Fowell Network,
talking about Tay Oscar.
We could see, wait, that's the wrong one.
But anyways, we could see Tay Oscar moving closer to a deal with the Dodgers.
The report was, I think it's a three-year, $60 million range for Tay Oscar.
do you think we can get a Teo deal at the winter meetings?
I hope so, because let me tell you why.
If this doesn't happen soon and they decide, let's say Soto goes, you know, doesn't sign or decides to go someplace else, the Yankees could very well go after Teoska Hernandez.
And I'm not saying that it's the same level of player again.
But I would much rather have Teo in right field than Juan Soto for a variety of reasons, not only just the price tag, but for a couple of other reasons as well.
the Dodgers need to lock him up because if the Yankees get into this mix, not to say they aren't already in the mix, his price tag is going to go a lot higher than what it is right now. And you know he wants to be in L.A. So let's get a three years, $60 million deal. I don't care. Give the man three years 70. Okay. Let's give him three for 70 and get it done. Let's lock in our right field or add him to the Tommy Edmund contract. Add him to the long term contracts, guys under our control already. I don't want to get into a Teosker.
forbidding more when we could have him when you know he wants to be here.
Yeah, I agree. I agree. I want to see Teo back. I think, again, what I was talking about with
Muncie earlier, it's just, it's fitment in that clubhouse. And the fit worked. The fit worked
great. No doubt, Juan Soto, great player. Just not meant to be a Dodger. Red Sock, Mett. It's
going to be a MET. But it's about it on this one, I guess.
I guess. What is coming up on your show?
Tonight, 6 p.m. Pacific time. We are back. I'm hoping I'm talking about. I'm hoping.
to my co-host buddy Kevin yet, but if he's there, we'll be celebrating his birthday.
So that'll be a good time, but also talking more rumors, talking a bunch of fun.
But more important than my show, guys, tune in this Thursday as we have two-time.
World Series champion, Austin Barnes, joining the show.
If you have questions for the captain, go ahead and drop them in the comments of this video
or, you know, let us know on Twitter X, whatever, all that kind of stuff.
One of the longest tenured Dodgers and what it means for Austin Barnes to know that he's going back again for the 2025 season.
I mean, this is a guy that has seen a lot.
I don't think he gets enough credit for everything that he does as far as that pitching staff is concerned.
And we'll also ask him why everyone on his team thinks that he would win every cage match that he was ever in and why they would want him to do their frontman if they got stuck in an alley someplace.
All right.
Riverside violence.
That's going to do it for Dodgers territory for Clint Pace.
us, Alana Rizzo, our entire Dodgers
territory crew. Thanks so much for being here.
We will see you on Thursday with a fresh new
episode with the real A-B. Have a great
week. We'll see you later. Go Dodgers.
Bye.
Peace to the planet. Shalameen to God here and listen.

this person. Welcome to the Boys and Girls podcast. Arranged marriage is basically a reality show and you're
auditioning for your soulmate and who's judging? Only your entire family. I sacrificed myself to this
ancient tradition hoping to find love the right way and instead I found chaos, comedy and a lot of cringe.
