Make a river.
Smell like river water.
I got algae under my big toe right now.
Butterflies and shit flying past.
What?
Oh, my gosh.
Come and get some of that cave.
From the hood to Hollywood. From ashy to classy. He spits truth to the youth. Come and get some of them the dead probably had too much estrogen feminine niggas with a tampax flow they know he the king from beijing to toronto he rich bs green light says go here we go just to don el roland show
why why am i so happy with you because it's fire why am i so happy with that? Because it's fire. Why am I so happy?
Because you're narcissistic, Donair.
You have a huge ego.
And as long as you're naming anything, you'll like it. But in the vein of Tory Lanez, shout out to Cardinal.
Shout out to Cardinal to Phishow.
Dope rapper.
I know he gets sick of hearing this uh from toronto he's just a dope
rapper period cardinal fish out uh jay-z said that cardinal was one of his favorite rappers
if you're not introduced to his music you got to google this guy and i'll tell you a backstory
about that i was um about him doing that intro.
I had the beat.
I had four beats that RZA gave me.
And the one he just rapped on was one of them.
And I said, yo, man, I got this beat.
This is what I told Cardi now.
I said, I got this beat.
Could you spit on it?
Like, you will make it official.
Yeah.
When you played me that beat, I know, it took took it to the next level because i already like the intro but it's so
so good it's so like so i asked him i told him i said could you get on this track because you know
people know i spit like i got one or two bars and that's it that's all the spit i have so i um
i said would you do it and he said send, send me the beat. And he said,
that's a RZA beat?
And he said, I said, yeah. He said,
oh man, he's doing movies
now, huh? And I guess he was
didn't understand like that beat that RZA
gave me, it wasn't for me to spit on.
It's an orchestra beat.
It feels like a movie
theme. And Cardinal
said he was going to do something for me
and he never did it.
And this was like at the beginning of the,
he never did it.
So I was trolling him.
I would go on his page.
True Donnell fashion.
Yeah, of course.
I would go on his page
and he would have like a positive message.
And I'd be like, yeah, man,
I'm so glad that black people stick together and we're about
our word and we do the things that we said we're going to do and every time I would say something
like that he would say Donnell my uncle just passed away I'm like fuck I gotta start all over
and then I kept trolling him and I was like all right he's never gonna do it but you know it
wasn't gonna be a question my friendship I'm like come on man if you say you don't do something do
it yeah if you say it if you're not gonna do it. Yeah. If you say it. If you're not going to do it, don't say it.
And last week, out of nowhere, I didn't even prompt him or suggest that he send me the beat.
I didn't bother him anymore.
And I got the text.
And it was like, this is the first shit I did since quarantine.
Shut the fuck up, motherfucker.
And he fucking blew it up.
Shout out again to Carnell fish out yay guess what donnell

I got lotion.
I have a brand of lotion. It's always
promo code has to be ashy.
Is you ashy, nigga? Not really.
Not now. Oh, not today. And first off,
I'm a river nigga now. You know that, right?
I've said that.
I used to hashtag, when I say river nigga, I don't mean it in a bad way.
I mean it in everything of
embracing nature and being about
the whole outdoors adventure life
I've been here in Yellow Springs
for
a month
it's been a month already?
I think yeah it has been
next week it will be a month
oh damn
we got airplanes and shit I never want to go back inside i'm like i'm
i feel like an outdoors motherfucker now look like i'm buying i'm buying khaki you gotta show
them your shoes wait a minute y'all think it's a joke y'all think it's a joke yo i'm about that
nature life you You see that?
I know this.
Describe this footwear right here for the people that can't see this.
Okay, so it's like your quintessential outdoorsy dad strappy.
Nah, it don't got to be just dad.
Yeah, you're right.
Yeah, they're like dad outdoorsy shoes.
They're really comfortable.
They're black.
They're rugged on the bottom.
And you can go hiking. You can go in the water. but they're really comfortable. They're black. They're rugged on the bottom, and you can go hiking.
You can go in the water, and they're perfect.
I can do it because I'm addicted to rivers now.
I rented a Jeep while I'm out here, took the goddamn doors off that shit,
just so, motherfucker, if I see some river water,
I don't got to worry about anything.
I can just pull over, jump, and I'm in the river.
Yo, that was like a white girl on Girls Gone Wild.
This nigga was hanging out of the Jeep.
All I was waiting for was your titties to pop out.
Yo, your titties popped out.
Your titties, they popping out.
Put them things away.
But I'm just telling you, just something about being outside.
Yeah.
And, like, we take for granted so much, like, the simple things that are around us.
You know what I mean?
Like, I don't consider myself to be a country boy. take for granted so much like the simple things that are around us you know what i mean like um
i consider myself to be a country boy i grew up between alexandra and washington dc
we had a creek close to where i live and um we was it was our mission like say saturdays when
we really got to do what we wanted to do yeah but me and my brother we couldn't wait to be released
you know i'm saying after breakfast like kids now you got
to force them to go outside right but it was like this can we go out now no you got to can we go out
and the minute we could go out we was out we was out and we wasn't coming back in until the last
second we could be outside and my mother's rule was once the street lights come on your ass gotta
you better bring your ass home your ass back inside and you know rule was once the streetlights come on, you better bring your ass home. Bring your ass back inside.
And you know everything happens once the streetlights come on.
It felt like motherfuckers was just waiting.
It felt like people was like this,
oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, don't have no fun yet.
Let these streetlights come on so Donnell can get the fuck out of here.
And I was embarrassed because I was always the one that had to go home.
So I used to try to act like it wasn't popping.'t popping right i would be like man y'all ain't
trying dude i'm gonna go home man it's boring out here i'm like man i'm not getting my ass
wet fuck with y'all but i remember as a kid um just spending time in that creek we used to build
our own rafts you know i'm saying we used to make our own rafts. You know what I'm saying? We used to make our own fishing rods.
We would go there and it would just be an all day affair.
And for some reason, with me being in Yellow Springs right now,
I'm starting to get reconnected to
not my childhood side,
but it just felt good, man like I'm a grown ass
motherfucker right we know
I'm a grown ass y'all see the beard
but man we was with
I was with Frederico right
and shout out to Frederico for helping me with this podcast
dope ass engineer
and producer bad motherfucker
and I was a
he's an adventure motherfucker
I'm slightly adventure he's like he kept letting me know, he's an adventure motherfucker. I'm slightly adventure.
He's like, he kept letting me know that he's like a power swimmer.
Like he can swim against currents and shit like that.
I'm just a motherfucker.
We hiking.
We were supposed to be a regular hike.
He said, man, that water looks good.
You can tell.
You know, motherfuckers that swim and love water.
He was fishing. They like tread water.
Yeah.
He's a treader. He was like, yo, man, I want to get in the water, man. I got that swim and love water. He was fishing. They like tread water. Yeah, he's a treader.
He was like, yo, man, I want to get in the water, man.
I got to get in the water.
I was like, you get in the water.
He was like, I'm going to get my feet wet.
Next thing you know, his feet wet.
Next thing you know, this motherfucker's just draws.
Elaine, Dave's wife, said, we have broke back river.
And it wasn't that.
It was, yo, we fucking fucking started swimming i had quick dry shorts
we started swimming in the river like there was nothing more refreshing than having uh i don't
know what you call it when it's the rapids like it was one area where it was like a rocky area
and the water just was moving fast just sitting there in nature we found a fucking a canyon a
cave a water cave and i know people like yo you out there doing all that white boy shit let me
explain something about that white boy shit white boys when white people be fucking living life
to the fucking fullest by the way i'm on day three and I haven't been to the river.
So you got to take me to the river.
You're going to go to the river.
We're going to make songs down at the river.
All right.
But I'm just saying it's like nature.
One thing about it, you can't twerk on the river.
Why not, Donnell?
You can't twerk on the river.
I know I'm not letting you live.
We're going to a gorge.
You're not going to be twerking.
The niggas think we having a gorge down there. They like, look at her. She's naughty by gorge we're not you're not gonna be twerking the niggas think we having
a gorgie down there they like look at her she's naughty by nature we're not doing that you gotta
keep the river clean that's one thing about black people on the river when i went the other day we
went canoeing it's supposed to be a peaceful joint peaceful joint motherfuckers got pop smoke playing
down on the river and shit you're supposed to appreciate nature in its natural, rawest fucking environment.
While twerking, that's fine.
Nobody wants to go.
Come on, I told you.
I told you.
So being out here has been amazing.
I've found solace.
And I think it's important that everyone
that's during this quarantine time
to find a peaceful part of
nature wherever you're at because this has been so helpful for my mental health but i also want
to go pee on the tree i want to work too you've been wanting to work since miami what is it about
nature what is it about women is it like do you have to twerk yeah and it feels good it feels
freeing for me you know i'm a dancer so it just feels good to shake my ass. What's the calling?
What's the calling to start?
You know a twerk is about to start when you hear, hey!
It's something about that, hey.
But I'll tell you, in the river, you can twerk on the river.
But it was like, it was so, like, doing this process of being on Dave Chappelle's summer camp,
it's so, like, I can't get away from that river.
It's just, it's like,
you're just away from everything. Yeah.
The regular world doesn't exist.
You hear water, you hear birds chirping.
You're in a bubble. The bubble.
Nature is the fucking best bubble. And you don't think about
anything. While I've been out here, I haven't thought about
anything. You know I'm all about my Black Lives Matter.
Right. And, you know, I'm woke
and, um. You're super, you're extra woke. I am, but, you know, I'm affected by the climate. Right. But since I'm all about my Black Lives Matter. And, you know, I'm woke. You're extra woke.
I am, but, you know, I'm affected by the
climate. But since I've been here, I
have not thought about that. I've just been enjoying
the show. Do you think it's the weather
or do you just think of the energy and the people that
we're around? Because our crew is dope. I think it's
a cumulative of things. I think it's
the town. I didn't know what to expect about
the town. I don't
feel safe walking around L.A. I don't. As i don't feel i don't run anymore and i was talking
to michelle and she does her runs and all that stuff and i'm like i i would do that here i feel
safe here man yellow springs you can leave your car running yeah you can and nobody you'll run
out of gas before somebody steals the car right but it's like it feels good man it's feels good
i think it's the people you're
around again nature i've been in river i've never i can't remember last time i went hiking and hiked
into a river and start swimming but i'm telling you when i when i experienced that like you say
it was that zenful space and for the rest of the day i just felt at peace you know like i see why you know people spend like i'm almost
bought a goddamn kayak the other day i went to the store because we had the rental guys and i'm
always trying to show off right yeah always trying to take it too far right so i'm like this i'm like
yo man i'm going on the river with the motherfucking dave chapelle summer camp i said i want to step
my yak game up right i said what i could what could i do
to ball out and step my kayak and experience and he said uh you might want to think about buying a
boat man i don't want no boat i want boat shoes i went in there i don't i was going to buy a kayak
but i don't have nowhere to put it right i just got excited about it i was like man i was like
and the canoes and kayaks they're not not that expensive. But when I went in there, I came out as a rugged motherfucker.
You shop different in Ohio.
Right.
I saw a Marshall's and got excited.
I was like, it's a Marshall's.
And going back to like the simple.
I love Marshall's, by the way.
Going back to the simple, you know, I just, I haven't been here in years.
It used to be my go-to spot years ago. But this pandemic and the state of the wind,
it makes you think about really what are the important things.
Yes.
When I come, you go to Ohio and you see my feet,
like, God damn, they got one style of jean on here.
Right.
You know what I'm saying?
It's like, yep, them shipment of Wranglers coming in this week.
Y'all call me and let me know.
You know, it's like, yep, them shipment of Wranglers coming in this week. Y'all call me and let me know. You know, it's like, you see this.
And then like you from a place like, spent time in like LA and New York.
You like, all right.
They not on fashion.
Not to say the motherfuckers dress crazy and everything.
But certain shit people don't care about.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like out here, motherfuckers got one belt.
You know, I ain't been a one belt nigga in a while.ers got one belt You know
I ain't been a one belt
I got one belt now
I don't even have it now
I got
Like out here
Niggas got one belt
And you wear that belt
Until it break
Right
You can go anywhere
From the mall
You're not like
You're not
Out here
You're not like
Alright which belt
Should I wear
Should I wear the
Ferragamo belt
Should I wear the Gucci belt N belt should i wear the gucci
belt diggings wear the belt a belt and you wear it tight and that belt is for fishing
that belt is for grocery shopping that belt is for hiking that belt is a belt and again
you don't get a new belt into it pops. It's like simple stuff, man.
Like, I went to Marshall's the other day,
and I was looking for more kayak shit,
and I got excited because I found a weatherproof book bag.
That you can put in water, too? You can put in water.
Me, in this whole Ohio experience,
I clothes shop different now.
I'm like, if I look at the tech, if it doesn't say outdoor,
or if it doesn't say made for the rugged man.
You ain't with it.
If it doesn't say for the adventure in you,
if it does not let me know that I could go from a trail to a creek or a river,
I don't fucking want it now.
Damn.
And not only that, I don't even give a shit.
So would you move here, Donnell?
I would. Younell? I would.
You would?
I would.
I like it.
I would,
it would be dope
to have a
second home here.
I could,
I could definitely see
this as a
summer place.
It's like,
if it's not here,
like,
I could really be
about
the country life. Yeah. I could really be about the country life yeah I could really be and it may be
because I'm older now and I've done all the crazy stuff who's phone is that sorry no problem you
know you get if you're on a movie set you get docked don't dock my pay you know if you was
getting paid I would die yeah but too bad I don't get paid. Alright, so we're about to change that.
We got sponsors.
You made me lose my thoughts.
You were saying that you would move here.
The idea.
Because you're older now.
I'm younger and I would.
You're in a different peaceful place.
But I like the idea of being able to
have
a life of entertainment. I love the idea of being able to have a life of entertainment.
Like, I love the way Dave does it.
Dave will fucking go to London, England for a couple weeks or whatever,
go to New York, LA a couple weeks, you know,
be in the mix of Hollywood and everything,
and then leave it and go back to a peaceful place, smell grass.
You know, I smelled cow manure.
And it was good, though.
It was good shit.
It didn't smell like that shit.
Yeah, I'm telling you.
It was different from smelling that fucking human homeless shit in the subways.
That shit is totally different.
Yo, nature shit?
Like, nature shit.
You see manure here, you look at it. look at it motherfucker be like look at the fibers
and that it just looks fucking healthy yeah it just this place being in nature just being in
touch with yourself it's like it could change your perspective on everything absolutely like right
now like hollywood is dead everybody's scrambling how you know I'm kind of sick of the whole
Everything is a Zoom show
Through that small thing
But here man
Doing this summer camp experience
It feels like
Look at that
Goddamn motorcycles
The motherfucker didn't have a helmet on either
They don't wear helmets out here
They don't wear helmets or masks out this yo i am so glad we're all dogging they raw dog and life
like dude call me a gay for having a mask on every day goddamn city boy take your ass
back to california or new york new york or wherever you guys wear those goddamn masks. But the summer camp experience, it feels good.
The dope shit is, like, to be able to have two shows at least three times a week is so dope.
I was telling, the other day we did a show.
Michelle Wolfe, Mo Amor.
Who else?
Jon Stewart.
Jon Stewart was one night.
Crowd went crazy for that.
It was so interesting because Jon Stewart, he came,
and Jon Stewart hadn't been away from his house probably like in four months.
Yeah.
You know, and it's like a mental, like you said, he was freaking out because, and I'll explain this,
the process of summer camp and what we do is that the minute you come in, you got to get get a COVID-19 test.
I know people see us on the Internet like, oh, yeah, I better be careful.
Put your mask on. But no, we got to test it.
Motherfucker. As soon as I landed, I got tested.
I was scared. I was scared.
As soon as you landed, I was like, yeah, you get your own car.
You know, you get your own car, meet you at the testing facility.
Right.
And, you know, you just traveled and you had a test recently.
Yeah.
Before you went to go see your parents.
And it's still something that's nerve wracking about waiting.
Hell yeah.
15 minutes, you'll be like this.
And then two minutes, you're like, yeah, man.
You know, you don't want to, you want to hear your name called with that band in the hand.
You know, like, is there a Javanta?
You're like, bitch, where my band?
Right.
But the process is, and I've had a couple friends that visit me out here.
And I tell them, you know, it's kind of weird because, you know,
some people could take it personal.
You're like, hey, man, you can go to the show, whatever.
But if you want to mingle or socialize with us, you got to get tested.
Oh, shit. Oh, man, you got to get tested. Oh, shit.
Oh, man.
I got a phone call.
You haven't heard from him in a while.
Get right.
I can't believe it.
Hey, let's get right.
Yep.
Hello?
Hello?
Hello?
Hello?
Yeah, can you hear me?
Yeah, I can hear you.
Get right.
I'm letting you know right now.
I'm talking to you.
I'm doing a podcast.
I'm recording.
But I just want to let you know I'm recording you.
How you been, bro?
Because a lot of people...
Man, I've been tore up, man.
Look at it.
They got, man, look at it.
Man, I can't do nothing.
Man, they got a person out here, a woman, that's running stuff, and I can't get nothing
done, man.
I can't get no money.
I can't do shit. What you mean she's running stuff and I can't get nothing done man. I can't get no money. I can't do shit. What you mean
She's running stuff. I mean like every time I go somewhere they try to take us in business
They don't I came by no food. She get to the place and tell them don't serve me
I don't know who this person is man. Is it a shelter some I don't understand how a person I don't
I don't understand it neither man, but like it start. No, I don't understand it neither, man. But like, it start, like everywhere I go, she got a spinoff or something.
I don't know how many of these people she got, man.
Right.
You know I'm still in Ohio.
I told you one of my friends, we set up a GoFundMe for you a while ago.
But I'm going to get somebody to get to you.
He should be calling you.
Look, I'm up here where I be meeting you at.
I'm up here by Friday. I'm broke, man. I ain't got nothing, man. I'm going to where I be meeting you at. I'm up here by Friday.
I'm broke, man.
I ain't got nothing.
I'm going to take care of it.
I got you, bro.
I got you, man.
And you know your spirits are always up.
I got you.
I'm going to get somebody to get to you today.
How do you feel?
You grew up in Mississippi, right?
I know this is crazy.
You grew up in Mississippi.
Yeah.
You know what?
Get right.
I'm out here, man.
This might be corny, but the best time I'm having, bro, is hanging out with nature and
going to the river.
Did you ever go fuck with the river when you was younger?
Did you play in the river?
Did you do the swing stuff?
I fish.
We fish and hunt.
That type of stuff.
Yeah?
Yeah.
How important, and I'm going to get to you how important do you think uh getting in touch with
nature is to people's mental spirit well it's very important like the animals like you know
those are the teachers really you know you watch them the animals are the teachers like i mean i
like trees bugs water and all that i like to to be outdoors. Right. Yeah.
Yeah.
But look here,
I know these people,
they're recording my phone messages.
I mean,
like this woman here walking behind me
with this damn dog.
And I know every time
I see this face,
it's the same face.
I don't know how they do it.
Right.
But it's the same damn face.
And they all working together, man.
I don't know who these people are.
It's years again.
Like, they just show up,
and it's the same damn person.
I'm a man that gonna hurt somebody.
If somebody trying to hurt me,
Nah, you gotta stay right.
You can't, you can't.
Damn, man, it's so tough.
But see, that's what I'm saying, man.
Like, they trying to kill me.
Like, I can't get no food.
Every time I go somewhere, they barred me. They tried to say, I'm doing this, I'm saying man like they trying to kill me like I can't get no food every time I go somewhere
they
they barred me
they tried to say
I'm doing this
I'm doing that
and they lying on me
they perpetrating a lie
lying trying to get me
to go to jail
yeah cause I
that's what I'm trying to tell you
remember the
remember the police
jumped on me one time
up here remember
I know you told me
you shared that story
on the podcast
damn I just feel so
I feel so like
crippled because i'm not there but i've been trying to reach out i'm crippled now man like
you know they're looking at that they got it it's like they're trying to heal me and kill me and
lock me up lock me up and have me killed they trying to steal my identity i tell you that man
that's not going to happen listen get right um i'm glad i'm talking to you i've been trying to reach out you've been going straight to voicemail already talked to my
man and um i'm uh uh i'm gonna have i'm gonna get i'm gonna get you right today at least temporary
but we're gonna have to work out a plan to get like real right but i got your back brother all
right there man looking at kitchen button like i'm up here man like i mean i can't
get nothing to eat i can't get nothing i'm gonna go and try to give me a cup of coffee or something
yeah i i got you i talked to my guy he's gonna he's gonna call you i gave him your number he's
gonna hit you when i get off finish doing this podcast i'll make sure everything all right and
then we're gonna i'll be back this soon but we're gonna talk man and we're gonna and we're gonna get
it right
All right, I'm glad I'm glad to hear your voice
All right, we got helpers on the way Feel terrible uh man i feel so bad i feel terrible but it's like what like
i'm gonna get them we don't get them right it's just like before i when i first came out here
that was it was two things i knew that i was going to be dear to me and i continue to think about
that was awesome to get right yeah and. And I hadn't spoken to Get Right
in a while. And I shared this story.
And
I was communicating with him because I got him that phone
and then it just like
I wasn't hearing from him.
And I was worried because a person like that
you don't really, you never know
what is going to be next for them. Right.
And it was so funny
because Julius, he was like,
when was the last time you talked to Get Right?
I said, I don't know if Get Right is fucking with me no more, right?
Because he wasn't answering?
Yeah, he wasn't answering. I'm like, what the fuck did I do to Get Right
to get him so mad, right?
And then he said,
I talked to Get Right.
And I said, I don't think he fucks with you no more.
Damn.
No, he said something about don't think he fuck with you no more. Damn. No, he said something about, Get Right said something about some,
the people out for him.
I don't know what's going on with Get Right, but we're going to get him right.
We said that GoFundMe thing.
But the whole thing is, it's only like, God damn, a temporary fix, man.
Yeah, and then it's another thing.
It's bad, but God damn it, I never hear him.
Well, how do we, how do we, is there a responsibility?
Or not our responsibility, but how do we change that incrementally?
Like, what can we do at least to put him on the right track?
I've talked to him about it.
I've talked to him about his ID.
He's a veteran.
There's probably things that he could probably get done through the.
Like a program.
Veteran administration.
Fuck, man.
I don't.
I don't know.
I'm going to figure it out.
I got.
We got you.
We got him.
It's like when you want to help somebody,
you know,
and you want to extend yourself,
you know,
be honest.
I don't know if get right is on the run.
We don't,
you know,
I don't know that he said he had his ID.
I've never seen his ID,
you know,
and I judge him off of his character,
what he proves to me but
don't really know exactly what's going on in his life but i know i'm happy when i see him
and when i hear from him and i want to do everything i can i can get i'm gonna get some
cash to him but i just want to change this situation like uh uh permanently i don't know
maybe one of these motherfucking you americans or whatever comment motherfuckers have some ideas or
can help us and get right
in the right direction and I'm
talking about god damn I know he don't want to
I'm talking about being outside
right and I know that nigga want to be
inside
no disrespect
I'm like this man I know I just
thought about that I'm like this man I know
I love nature don't you get right I know I just thought about that I'm like this man I know uh I love
nature don't you get right I know get right like
nigga I want to go inside
get me inside with AC
yeah I want some AC when we did that show he was
so happy to be there I'm gonna do
it just for me being here
I can't physically be around I can't
physically touch him shake his hand
and say what's up but definitely
I'm looking forward to I know that's what's up but definitely um looking forward to
i i know that's one of the things i'm looking forward to going back to la is
uh linking up we get right but i'm gonna get them right i already took care of that
fucking crazy shit damn man what can you do but try to get right damn it man i expected i didn't that uh that call went took a left turn
but it took a left turn man it's so much things that nowadays there's so much shit to think about
every day you think about every day you think about not getting corona every day you're thinking
about uh uh eating and living living every day you're thinking about not getting killed by a cop right
and it's like it's like
it's one thing after another it's one thing after another and how do you
how do you stay focused it's so tough to stay focused so many ways so many
it's so many reasons why people
could just say i quit like even a conversation would get right right now and he's a strong
person like strong character and it felt like in that conversation he was like man i'm not trying
to break down man but i'm i'm fucked up right now yeah how do we make how do people maintain that is it just family it's the friends
how do you do that i think it's i think it's even us even us sharing this story having outlets
listening to your favorite podcast laughing smiling taking advantage of the time if you
don't have a job if you're not employed spending time with your family and just
trying to find little pockets
of happiness i think that is correct i agree with that and i think uh a lot of it and i've been on
this smudge this energy your energy is like this like it's what you put yourself around yeah you
know you haven't you ever been around somebody it, okay, there's a couple of things I like about them,
but their energy is just so off.
Yeah.
Their energy is off and you keep on trying to work it out,
but eventually you say to yourself,
I just got to remove myself from that energy.
That's one of the things I like about this whole atmosphere,
the summer camp.
It's like our crew, you know, the people I hang out with.
It's nothing but, of course, you're going to have some niggas slip through the cracks right but for the most part it's the people that you associate
with yeah when they say you are a product of your environment i totally 100 agree with that
absolutely my soul i like i pray i've prayed that if nobody's supposed to be in my life or if there's like, I, my soul will reject you.
I can't even talk to you.
So that's how in tune I am with myself.
You know what I mean?
With energies and people,
if I don't fuck it,
I'm,
I'm out the door.
So I think it's important to be able to acknowledge that and find some
peace,
get some Palo Santo,
get some say,
I'm smudging everybody.
I don't give a fuck. I'm going to the grocery store
you say anything to me, no mad smudge
smudge, I'm smudging
everybody, product of the environment
the other day we had a fucking amazing
goddamn show, we've been doing this
all summer and right before
my intro every week
Dave decides that he wants to FaceTime Chris Rock.
Yeah.
Right?
Right before I'm going to go, I'm like, man,
I'm going to fucking follow Chris Rock on a FaceTime call, right?
And one particular show, I said, Dave, Chris Rock is not here.
Yeah.
I said, Chris Rock is never going to come here.
Chris Rock is quarantining in his mansion right now. He's never going to not here. I said, Chris Rock is never going to come here. Chris Rock is quarantining in his mansion right now.
He's never going to come here.
And I said that the other day.
And it was definitely a pop-up.
And then Dave Chappelle, after I get off stage, he was like, yep, we're not finished yet.
And then certain names, you don't have to say you've seen him on.
Yeah.
You've seen him on.
You know him from.
Certain names, when you hear that name, it's like, pow. You've seen him on. Yeah. You've seen him on. You know him from certain names.
It's just when you hear that name, it's like pow.
And this was right after I said Chris Rock is never going to fucking come here.
And then, ladies and gentlemen, Chris Rock.
Yeah.
That moment was amazing.
The cornfield was popping.
Went crazy.
Like, hey.
The cornfield was popping literally and figuratively speaking.
Right.
Oh, man.
Angela, you.
What?
I'm doing my podcast right now, son.
Hi, Angela.
Can you hear me?
Yeah.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
Oh, shit.
Is it? God damn it. Hold on. Hold on. wait a minute wait a minute oh shit is it
god damn it
hold on
hold on
what the fuck
it's connected
I don't want
huh
I'm doing my podcast
but I can't hear you
yeah we can't hear you
I can't hear you
did you have headphones on
yo don't stop
disrespecting me
it's not cause I have
I got a bluetooth situation and you're not coming through the bluetooth Because you have headphones on. Yo, don't disrespect me. It's not because I have...
I got a Bluetooth situation
and you're not coming through the Bluetooth.
So you can hear me.
I can hear you, but it's bootleg.
I can hear you, but look at the...
Yo.
It's bootleg.
What do you want?
Nothing.
Why you call me? Why you call me?
Why you call me for nothing?
We're in Mexico.
You stay flying somewhere.
You're in Mexico?
Yep.
We out here.
You always out here.
Wherever here is, you're going to be out there.
Where can we be out here? You can be in your house, go to the next room. We out here wherever here is you're gonna be out there she's like where can we be out
here you could be in your house go to the next room we out here we in the house yeah that means
that i am an optimistic person i know listen man energy you do have positive energy we were just
talking about that do you agree that the type of person you are is
dictated by the type of people that you hang out with how how much is your product in your
environment how much how important is that i would say that's about um 75 of it but then i think it's
also dictated by how you raise how you raise right that's true and then how you raise that
makes that makes i know i'm all excited but it's so simple it is how you raise but some people uh
parents they try and just some people energy still become off yeah that's why I think it's just 25% of it, you know?
I think also your diet,
what you eat.
Did you eat,
did you get them?
What?
Did you get them?
Get what?
These nuts!
What about that for diet?
You didn't like that.
How'd you fall for that one?
You didn't like that.
She rolling her eyes.
How'd you fall for that one?
She rolling her eyes.
You know you got somebody
with a good nut job where they be like, grow up, Don eyes. You know you got somebody with a good nut joke
where they be like, grow up, Donnell.
You weren't raised right.
How long you gonna...
I feel like your nuts would make people very toxic.
Yeah, but I smudge my nuts.
Since you want to be so smart about my nuts,
I smudge these nuts.
Hey, quick question.
Listen.
Man, August still cool?
I know you was making too many jokes, he said. I know. Listen. Man, August still cool? I don't know.
You was making too many jokes, he said.
Yo, what?
What you mean too many jokes?
I ain't gonna lie.
He did hit me about you.
No, he didn't, did he?
Yeah, he did.
What'd he say, son?
Don't hurt my feelings.
What'd he say?
He said, disentangling himself from your friendship.
Yo!
Yo, and then he comes out with a song
called Entanglement, so he right back.
Aw, man, I don't know.
Yo, that's another thing.
You know how much I got love for him.
But funniest, funniest
what it is, I don't think I was
went to, fuck it,
I tell jokes.
I'm kidding, he's not mad.
Thank God, I was nervous for a second.
I love that dude, man. know when Donal start getting upset
And flustered he be like hold on
Let me think about it
Nah man I support that dude
There's no way
Not to talk about it but I support him man
I support him I wish him well
And the Entanglement song is dope, too.
Sure.
All right.
Well, I don't need to fuck up because I don't need you for me, too.
You what?
I don't need you.
Thank you.
What is this?
A particular?
Okay.
Hello.
I'm on my podcast, bro.
Okay.
Well, get to work.
You should have been answered.
All right.
Bye. Hello. You just going to hang up on me like that? You said you're doing your podcast, bro. Okay. Well, get to work. She's been answered. All right. Bye.
Hello.
You just going to hang up on me like that?
You said you're doing your podcast.
Yeah.
What did you call me for?
You said nothing.
Yeah.
I just called to say hi.
Oh, all right.
Well, I love you.
You know that.
All right.
Love you too, Donnell, until you do some fucked up shit.
Oh, my God.
I'm not going to be on your fucking room report.
Bye.
Bye.
She's crazy. Man. She's crazy.
Man.
She's so sweet.
That's so funny because that's an example of who you associate with.
I associate with Angela.
Yeah, she's good people's man.
Good people.
Positive energy.
She's always doing something.
But I'm excited because one thing about sponsorship, you get product.
Right?
I have, and it's our sponsor for this episode.
And I remember when these first came out.
And I was like, are these going to be dope?
In terms of audio devices for your ear.
Yeah.
The Raycon earbuds, what's dope about them?
First off, the case is dope.
Yeah, I like it.
It's sleek.
It's nice.
It can fit in my
purse thing i like about it pocket one charge 24 hours oh one charge 24 hours and there's a lot of
people on that level of competition and whatever but when you talk about the uh the quality of the
earbud and you also talk about which is important to a lot of people especially during a pandemic is the price yeah
almost half the price of some of the more popular earpieces or ear devices
if you use my code which is going to be consistent with anything ashy of Of course. You get 15% off your order.
You get 15% off of an order
that's already not that
expensive. Ooh, these are nice.
Raycon Wireless
Earbuds. Don't put them in your
ear, nigga. I won't.
I don't want to win last time you got your
corona test. The Raycon
earbuds are fire.
And this is the new model.
It's the
Everyday E25
earbuds. They're nice.
And I consider, I had a pair a while ago,
but I think that these are the best. Every so often
they change it.
They upgrade it.
These are brand new, just came out? These are brand new, and they're mine.
Ooh, wow.
The thing I like about them also is that
once you take them out of the case,
it automatically connects
to your phone.
So connecting, pairing
them is quick, inexpensive,
dope, and
they're fly.
And they fit in your ear comfortably too.
Now you can hear all the
stuff, all the trash, all the stuff.
All the shit that you're always talking.
I'm going to be talking trash to you wirelessly.
Well, listen, listen.
So I know because you only, so I arrived here and I was telling my friends,
oh my God, it's been two days and Don Allen cursed me out.
And then you cursed me out.
I know, I had to.
I didn't feel right.
On day three.
I know, it almost made it.
I almost made it.
It wasn't, it didn't feel right let's get all
this goddamn breathing fresh air shit out of here listen so okay i got cursed out because
donald dropped me back to the hotel and i had the the jeep keys in my pocket and he left the hotel
he couldn't turn the car off yeah because you didn't want to go um out i was gonna go we was
having a little after thing and then you know how when you get a car, you can do the push button, right?
Yeah.
And you did have a perfect slate, right?
You had a perfect slate.
I wasn't mad about anything.
I was trying to be mad about something.
And then when I got to that goddamn venue, and I was like, you know somebody upset when
I curse like this.
When you do this, I was like, I curse like my brother that went to Brown University at
Georgetown Law.
I was like, fucking shit. I was white, I cursed like my brother that went to Brown University at Georgetown Law. I was like, fucking shit.
I was white boy curse.
I said, fuck, fuck, fuck, fucking, fucking shit.
You were so mad.
I'm like, who does that?
I was like, fucking shit.
But it's Yellow Springs, too.
I could have fucking left the car running.
First of all, you were two minutes away.
Yeah.
Nah, but it was just, I was i had already i was already settled yeah yeah
anything about it i knew i was going to leave the goddamn place the car there anyway but just the
fact that i was like no fucking i was like where the where the keys i have fucking shit but going
back to the fucking the night of comedy chris rock goes on stage, blows the stage up.
That's the next thing.
Jon Stewart, the weird thing, both of these guys,
two of the biggest names in comedy,
hadn't been around anybody, a live performance or a stage
since everything started.
In fact, Jon Stewart, he still had like,
you go straight to the testing facility, right?
And he had his negative band,
and everybody in there had their negative band.
But he still was like shell-shocked like to be somewhere and like see people with
their faces out you're like what the fuck right and rock was the same way the next day but i'm
telling you being out there in the goddamn cornfield and like for me watching the excitement of people that people are driving like what are my thousands of miles
yes one of my friends drove 11 miles oh my jesus he does like the uh 11 hours 11 hours 11 hours
people are driving 11 hours five hours here six out of it to go out and have a good time and i go
when those like when rock was on stage and John Stewart was on stage,
I'd go out into the field just to see the reaction and the level of appreciation for what we're doing out here
is unexplainable.
Like, it's one thing to do a show, like, in a comedy club,
like, yeah, I got these free tickets,
they gave them to me at Times Square or whatever.
I don't know if I want to go or whatever.
But, like, when it's the only ticket, almost the only ticket in town,
and you see how much people appreciate it and the efforts they make.
And also, like, people say this is the hottest comedy ticket of the summer.
In 2020.
In 2020, yes.
I would agree with that.
But the thing that's so impressive, and I always say this
and I have to say it,
the level
that Dave
goes to
to provide safety
for us as performers,
for us as a family,
I don't know if anybody's doing that.
You have places to say, okay, you can't be this close to a person social distance and everything then you got
you know and and all the responsibility is you it's ride or die with the performers there's a
couple comics that just was on the road to tested positive and i'm uh and a friend's mind i'm pretty
sure they're gonna be okay but it's always still that opportunity that something could happen to you yeah but the effort that he he's putting into testing everybody even a hotel that uh
that we're staying at they provided the testing for the entire staff the diners the uh the coffee
places the whole little town he's provided testing for that. So as much as we are out here making history and having a good time,
it's still the precautions to be safe.
Like, dude has spent over a hundred grand just testing people
so we could have a good time.
Have a good time.
That's so beautiful.
It's like every day I go in, I'm like, is this really happening?
And I talked to Chris Rock before he went on.
He said, I'm a little rusty.
I haven't been on in a while.
I was like, man, this is like the comedy seller.
Yeah.
This is like the comedy store.
You give yourself the pressure like, I want to do well.
But at the same time, these audiences have been like, we're riding with you.
Right.
You make a mistake.
Not a mistake.
But if you're not not as sharp as you normally
are, the fact that you saw
goddamn Chris Rock,
Dave Chappelle.
You did a great job.
I must admit, I have seen
you over the years. I wasn't trying to be on my dick,
but yo, I've been killing that shit.
You've been killing that shit.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I was waiting for you to say it. What was you going to say for you to say it, bitch. What was you going to say?
No, listen, Donnell.
Donnell, listen to me.
What was you going to say?
I've been lighting that.
I've been lighting that shit on fire, dick.
Hold on.
Yo.
I've been trying.
You deserve a bomb.
Okay.
Wait a minute.
You deserve a bomb.
Hold on.
Hold on.
That's right.
I've been at Dave Chappelle's summer camp all goddamn summer.
And we've had some big names on that stage.
We had the likes of Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Michael Che, Michelle Wolf, Mo Amor.
The list goes on and on.
But what we can't forget is that I bring motherfucking fire on that
goddamn stage. Hey, listen.
Okay.
You did. I know. You killed that.
Here's what's going on.
Here's what's going on.
And it's no disrespect.
It's so weird because
you have to find your groove.
You gotta find your groove.
Your muscle memory has to come
back but i'm telling you i've been having so much fucking fun on stage yeah and the thing i've been
having the most fun with is like every night i do a different show every night it's almost like a it's all almost feel like it's um like a documentary
and i'm saying dave always has cameras floating around he caps everything but just in my life i'm
like oh shit motherfucker left hollywood to come in yellow springs to be safe to be around his
friends and more importantly to work on his craft, his art.
And I don't take it for granted.
I always perform like
this might be my last show.
And if I can add to this, Donnell,
you know, I've known you for over like 13, 14
years now, and
I've noticed you're
at your fucking best when you're at
peace and when you're happy.
And this is it.
This is the product of that.
It's like this whole thing is like, you know, nobody's getting paid.
Yeah.
And I don't give a fuck.
I really don't.
You know, I really don't care.
And it's not like being cheap or it's like this guy's got so much money into the production,
the production of happiness.
Yeah.
The things that he's doing, he's flying people in jets and stuff like that.
And this isn't a money-making venture for him.
You can see that.
You can see, you see the new plan.
$2,000, $20,000.
Like, I was about to be on tour with Chappelle and Rogan over the summer doing 20,000 seat joints.
Yeah.
To go from that to like, okay, 300
people in the corner. No, you're not making no money.
But you're creating an opportunity
for people to feel good.
And again, I don't take anything
for granted. I'm happy to have
stage time. There's a lot of
comedians out there. They're still performing
in front of the Zooms.
Hey, I got this show. And it's going to be a drive-through,
and they're going to be in the cars and stuff like that.
But this is the closest to a normal comedy experience I've had since this started.
And every night, like, people think I'm nuts because before I go on, I'm quiet.
They're like, are you going to be okay?
Is everything okay? The worst thing is what a motherfucker keeps saying, is everything okay? Yeah, bitch, get out of my face. I'm quiet. They're like, are you going to be okay? Is everything okay?
The worst thing is what motherfuckers keep saying, is everything okay?
Yeah, bitch, get out of my face.
I'm okay.
I'm okay.
Is everything okay?
Right?
And I'm quiet until that motherfucker does my intro.
And this dude, intros are chilling
he keep fucking with me
he keeps fucking me
with these goddamn intros right when I'm like
okay I'm working out I'm doing my
pacing and stuff and then
he has to crack a joke on me
when I stay focused and I go up there
and slaughter
slaughter
and it's not an overstatement
and it's not because you And it's not an overstatement.
And it's not because you, you know,
it's the truth.
It's the truth.
I kill it.
Yeah, you kill it.
You kill it.
I don't care.
You kill it.
You kill it.
I kill it and I'm happy
because I can continue.
I think before this picked up,
I was close to getting
a Netflix special
and then everything stopped.
But I really, really think
that another month,
I'm going to be ready and I'm going to be ready. ready and the whole thing is like it's a whole different set it's a whole different feeling i
tell the audience i'll tell the audience every night i said man as much as y'all appreciate me
i appreciate y'all more than anything yeah i'm feeling a connection with these nature
motherfuckers right when i say i'm a river nigga, I want to be a river nigga. I don't give a...
I don't even... Yo, I don't
care about Hollywood. I know this sounds crazy.
I don't care about Hollywood
anymore.
Well... I don't.
Okay. And I'm...
The reason I say I don't,
because Hollywood
can be taken away from you. At any
minute. At any moment.
What you believe in Hollywood to be, there's people that could just snatch that.
That's why I'm so excited about the Dinah Rowland show more than anything.
Because this gives me the control to do what I want to do.
Right.
Nick Cannon.
Prime example. Nick Cannon. Prime example.
Nick Cannon is a prime example.
And it's unfortunate because people have different
thoughts on the Nick Cannon situation.
My issue is that
you judge someone
I can see if you're saying
a certain thing on their
platform.
If you were saying
on Wild N Out Out fuck these crack ass
crackers that's one thing
right but on your podcast
on a podcast
the place where you're supposed to have your
voice to be as true to yourself
who you are yeah you judging
because of that
I don't think it's right you know how I feel about that
I also think that this is an opportunity
for like we always talk about black hollywood this is a perfect opportunity to cultivate that
black hollywood we could do black hollywood if black people support
if black people really supported each other 100% cut the bullshit
I know you marching and all that type of shit
but put up or shut up
and the bottom line with that
that's how you spend your money
yeah
we are the buying dollars
that's it
we are the dollars
if we do that
you spend so much money
you could have black Hollywood
I think it's important for the leaders
to cultivate
that, or the ones that have the access,
the ability, the money, the funding
to get together and
really, really make something happen for
our community. So what, do you remember
exactly what it was? It's like it had to be a
final straw.
It was like a build up because I almost was in that
situation where I talked about Harvey Weinstein.
He'll work because he's a Stein, which is Dave Chappelle's favorite joke.
He said, I said, he's a Stein.
And then I countered that with, yo, Nick, Jutan clan ain't nothing to fuck with.
And people are like, what is he going to do now?
Man, Nick Cannon been rich for so goddamn long.
Yeah, he good.
I think he has part.
Is he part of the Vicon brand? Like, is he? Well,
I think he was at
that one point, but they've cut in ties to it.
I don't know how the legality and the
logistics. You know what's really fucked up, Nick?
Nick Cannon, you know what's
really fucked up? I was
on Wildin' out this goddamn season.
Oh yeah, they gonna show it? They ain't gonna
show my shit now. I was supposed to be on
the final episode. It was old heads, right? But they to show it? They ain't going to show my shit now. I was supposed to be on the final episode.
It was old heads, right?
But they got to show it.
I don't know. White people can be petty.
They can be real funky with it.
They can be like, nah, we don't want...
My thought would be that
they own it,
that they would still run it.
They would still run it because you still get money off of ads
and stuff like that, even with the Chappelle show.
I mean, it probably wasn't the best presentation, but the last episodes that me and Charlie did, they still had some materials and stuff that they had to use.
So hopefully they come out.
I just wanted for my nephews and the young kids and stuff, like my man 40's daughter, I wanted them like, oh, onks on Wild N' Out.
And it's messed up, man, because
Nick Cannon is a really, Nick Cannon
is a good guy. Yeah. He's a good
guy. Never hurt nobody.
I don't know. He seemed to be so
clean. He seemed to be like
the cleanest black guy, the acceptable
black guy.
Well, the artist, the entertainer
and for this to happen to him. It's like, he's like
a baby Will Smith.
Yeah, like squeaky clean record.
That's why I do what the fuck I want to do.
Yeah, so that way.
Because I don't want no reputation.
Yo, I don't want no reputation to ruin.
I remember once I had this publicist, right?
And she was trying to get me covers.
I couldn't get no covers.
I got her the cover of Blacktail Magazine.
Right, because at the time, Blacktail
Magazine, they wanted to change their...
I'm always somewhere with trying to change
their image. Shout out to my OnlyFans page.
Right? So they were trying to change
the image of Blacktail. They wanted to put
celebrities and comedians on the cover.
And I remember this shot.
It's a cover. It's me
sitting on the throne.
Were you naked?
Why are you all on that
I got some pictures floating out there somewhere I know I got some penis portraits around here
somewhere I don't call it dick pics penis portraits anybody anybody I know that's when
we gotta change the dirty thing you sent me a dick pic no that was a penis portrait but um. But she was like, I got you to cover Blacktail Magazine.
And this one, I thought I was his shit.
I had took new headshots.
I wanted to use my whole name, Donnell Maurice Rawlins,
because I was going to be an actor.
Right.
I wanted to be like Donnell Maurice Rawlins.
And I had this sideways, cornball-ass fucking look.
And I said, man, I'm having second thoughts. I said, how do you think this is gonna affect your,
I told my publicist, I said, how does this
gonna affect my image?
She said, Donna, let's get you an image
before we worry about fucking your image up.
Cut to, I'm in that shot. But it was, I know it sounds crazy, but it was, I was in that shot. Let's get you an image before we worry about fucking your image up.
Right.
Cut to, I'm in that shot.
But it was, I know it sounds crazy, but at that time I wanted to be on the cut.
I didn't give a fuck what I was on.
As long as you were on.
It was a thing I really liked about it because they did like an eight page story on me.
And the story was about my relationship with Dave Chappelle, my career.
So the story was good.
Yeah.
But it'd be
like the story then pussy right the story did a little bit more pussy they lotioned me up pussy
but the story but it reached out I got a motherfucker uncle that was locked up at the time
and so that was a double whammy for him and at the end of the art uh at the end of the article I said
I said listen
man i don't know what the fuck y'all do to this excuse me i don't know what the fuck y'all do to
this magazine but do not do it on my page skate skate somewhere the fuck else man but um that was
dope man i'm loving this i want somebody say people gonna ask me donnell are you ever going
back to california i don't want back to California? I don't want to.
I have to.
I don't want to go back either.
I mean, but, you know, I'm missing my son.
Yeah.
That's the toughest part.
Mm-hmm.
That's the toughest part of anybody's situation,
being away from your kid.
Yeah.
Especially in a situation like this.
But that's just another, that's part of life, too.
Sometimes you got to make decisions that could that that you know kind of hurt you or take away some moments now but it's
building for the long run because i really believe what i'm doing out here in yellow spring being
part of history making the connections my mental state i'm in a calm place and one thing i will say
is that stephanie does a great job with Austin and
you know some kids
are taking this whole thing really hard
with their mental health
like depressed getting to
themselves but my son
has been doing really good on
keeping himself active of course he's a fucking
YouTube freak yeah he's so creative
he is he like he has an imagination
he'll just build through this whole
pandemic. The thing that I love the most about
the relationship with him and building
is that Austin
has a love of cardboard now.
Like, cardboard.
Could you imagine getting a four-year-old
kid to love cardboard? Right.
With iPads and all that going on.
With iPads, like the idea
that he looks at cardboard as a gumball machine,
as a vending machine, as a studio.
Like the other day, Stephanie had something.
He had a box.
And it looked like a regular box.
Boy, he was mad.
He was like, Mommy, Daddy, who threw my go-kart away he was like you mean that box he looked at
us like no motherfucker that goddamn go-kart but his imagination is on point and as hard as as it
is to have a normal life as a kid now he's doing a good job that's the thing that pains me the most
about this whole shit like watching a kid grow up through this is really, really fucked up.
Yeah.
But I think you can pivot and find a way to adjust.
And I think that's what needs to happen.
Everyone needs to adjust healthy and positively and stick together and it'll be fine.
And keep good mental health, right?
Yeah, absolutely.
What's wrong with my mental health?
You're crazy.
Oh! You know what? And I respect health, right? Yeah, absolutely. What's wrong with my mental health? You're crazy. Oh!
You know what?
And I respect that, right?
But I will respect that.
Mm-hmm.
But what makes...
This is honest.
What makes me crazy to you?
You know I'm joking.
No, no.
It's some serious...
People call me crazy all the time.
You're crazy.
I think your thoughts move faster than your mouth.
So I think when you take time to.
That's what she said.
Go ahead.
Come on, Donnell.
You're getting on my nerves.
I think when you take the time, I think,
and you go through your mistakes or whatever,
whatever it is that you're dealing with,
and you sit back and you get an introspect or whatever whatever it is that you're dealing with and you sit back
and you get an introspective moment then you
you make sense does people
can people be
crazy and productive
can you be a good person because crazy
is so many different definitions
what are we even talking about are you bipolar
are you I don't know I think you're
well I know you're narcissistic I know what
no we know that we know that why I keep hearing these words well we know you're narcissistic and what no we know that we know that we don't
Keep hearing this word. We know you are and that's fine. That's what that's how you're got here Donnell
You couldn't be here without being that you couldn't get on the stage and do what you did last night
Without that your phone ringing again. That's not my phone
Okay
So that what you say I'm saying you couldn't be
here without that when you say that i feel like when somebody said that to me it's okay it's okay
you just gotta work through it but you gotta be open to changing if you want to change i know i
mean it's but okay somebody said you gotta be open to change but what are you changing for what do
you change for you know some people like they'll change it then are you changing for a person for yourself for yourself and your experiences you just talked about energy and
surrounding yourself so i want to experience but i've been working on it i breathe different you
are and you have been with me but i want i want to experience like angela yee said she said when
donnell gets flustered he goes starts going like i do want to be a better person in that regard but then how far do you take that
advantage before you say to somebody fuck it this is who i'm gonna be it's whatever you know i'm
saying because i care like i you know i don't lose a lot of friends but in some cases like
i've had situations where i was like maybe you was a little out of pocket where i said you know
i don't give a fuck it's whatever then. Then sometimes I'm like, okay, what could I have done wrong?
But you can't feel a change in me in terms of communicating with people.
Yeah.
And having patience.
I don't got no patience. You don't have no patience, but you've had more than I've ever seen you have.
Right now, right?
Yeah.
I dated this girl one time.
She said, that nigga ain't got one patient.
She said, not one, not nay one, not nada.
I'm telling you, I'm working nature.
Yeah, you got to be happy.
Yo, when I get married to niggas now, now that I get married to niggas, fuck, nigga.

Yo, I almost died on that goddamn river trying to show off the other day.
I ain't going to front.
Nigga, you almost drowned?
It's the worst feeling.
Yo, let me tell you.
Because you're like, well, shit, I'm about to die.
The worst thing about it is when you a nigga like me to talk shit about everything is a joke.
Uh huh.
Yo, yo, my man found a little spot in the water, right?
This shit was deep.
He's 6'2".
He can't wait to be able to just stretch, do all of this.
You know, like this, right?
He treading like this.
I'm straight dog paddling, right?
He was like, yo, come over here.
It's deep over here, yo.
Like, he like this. Look. He coming out. yo, come over here. It's deep over here. Yo. Like, he like this.
Look.
He coming out.
Right.
He come.
I go to the deep section.
That shit was like, it was the first time I didn't feel no rocks under my feet.
Yo, my doggy pedal went into overdrive.
Yo, I was.
Yo, I had. Imagine your head here.
Yo, I was like this.
And I was like this.
Oh, my God. I was like, I cannot to. Imagine your head here. Yo, I was like this, and I was like this, oh, my God.
I was like, I cannot drown right now.
And I played so much that I didn't want to be, I'll say it.
I almost said, help!
You didn't want to call Wolf, cry Wolf?
Yeah, but I knew if I say help, the first thing he would say was stop playing.
Right, right, right.
I'm like, no, I'm serious.
Help!
Man, I got to that motherfucking rock area.
I was so good. I'm like, no, I'm serious. Help! Man, I got to that motherfucking rock area. I was so good.
I'm like this.
I said, Mr. Venture is going to slow the fuck down.
But that fucking experience, it brought back my childhood.
And I'm trying not just to talk about nature, but I'm fucking loving nature.
Yeah.
This sounds so, niggas are going to say this is gay. I'm gonna tell you
to my real
country heads you never know the feeling
of being in a and look you gotta
