So, and you got to realize, as a young kid when I grew up, every year, I don't know exactly what date this is. is something that I swear to god for all my life all I said whenever I see that little crazy white people they go again. Because they do it, they don't do it inside, they do it like ahhh! So, I was vacationing, here's the story, I was vacationing in San

Diego, right? And it was a great vacation because it was family, it was family time for me. You know, it was family time, okay, how do you guys say this? It was co-parenting, family time. You know, when you have to do those vacations and everything, like everybody has to be happy for the sake of the goddamn kid which i always support and you know i've been on the road for a while being in austin and everything and i haven't seen my son in a while right so whenever i come back i was like my time with him is very valuable you know

what i'm saying it's like i don't like his mom she can like skip doing something on monday or tuesday because it's gonna be wednesday thursday, Friday. Yeah. But when I come in, I got to go hard. So I was like, let's do a staycation. Although we live in Los Angeles, I mean in Hollywood. I was like, let's go to San Diego. Right? And my Instagram live is starting to get really popular. And it's popular because I get up and get motivated.

And my catchphrase is, who up, we up. Who sleep, they sleep. Who woke, we woke. Right? So I said, who up, we up. Who sleep, they sleep. Who woke, we woke. Right? So I said, let me do something different. So, because I think people on the podcast and on the Instagram, they live vicariously through me. Yeah. You know what I mean?

And I was like, it might be something to be said about me doing a live on a beach. Right? I get up at 6.15. I always like to be up before the sun comes out. And I'm on the beach. First off, I walk to the beach and this is um this is beach in What is called? What is that area Pacific Beach Pacific Beach? Yeah, but they got many beaches around right? They got like Pacific Beach

Ocean Beach So oh that's shark territory. What? There's sharks there. Shark sharks? Shark sharks, yeah. Like seals and sharks. They're known for that. That's what they're known for. They told me seaweed algae.

And just wait for stingrays, right? No. So early in the morning, 6 for 10, which is a very peculiar time for a black man to be out, especially in La Jolla. They get a black person like that every time the season changes. That's when a black guy goes there, right? It's odd for you to be out especially in la jolla you know that's like they get a black person like that every like every time the season changes that's when a black guy goes there right it's to be out there anytime i actually i'm a black guy so i go there right and it was weird because i walked to the beach little sidewalk area and i saw a white couple walking toward me i got a hoodie

on had a smoke blunt whatever and i saw that they were white walking toward me and I got a hoodie on, had a smoke, blunt, whatever. And I saw that they were walking toward me. And as I got on the sidewalk, I saw them going the other way. Yeah. Right. I didn't know if they were walking backwards or what. Right. And I was like, oh, that's fucked up. I'm ready to pull the black card like a motherfucker. This is a great place to pull it. Right. I was like, oh, I was like, what the fuck did they? I said, I wonder why they left, right? I said, it's probably. I said, I know why they left, because they thought I could kill them.

Nah. That, actually, I would kill them. But it was very weird to see a black guy. And I was like, you know what? He was like, did they think I could kill them? And I said to myself, I could have killed him. Yeah. Right? I didn't want to, but I saw it.

I didn't want to, but I was like, okay. They was like, just listen, the odds are. Like, I'm just playing. Like, why are you out there? There really aren't, you don't see black dudes in La Jolla. Not on a goddamn beach. Not at 6 a.m. Yeah.

You don't even see too many black people at a swimming pool, because most of us can't swim, right? So, they went the other way, and I was like, that's kind of fucked i said i was not gonna let me stop my day i was like fuck this i'm gonna go closer to the beach so i go close to the beach i'm on my live or whatever i'm like yo y'all i'm out here people like oh shit you out there and then this white woman comes down the beach like like 30 feet away from me she She got a robe on and a towel. Oh, that girl, yeah. She got a robe on and a towel, right?

And I'm saying to myself, I said, oh, I like this beach, right? She got a robe on and a towel. Then I'm getting really nervous, because I said I know I'm about to get OK Karen'd. Right, I was like, OK Karen? There's an app?

Yeah, OK Karen. That's an app, OK Karen? I just knew it was gonna be like a here's a black guy by the water. This looks fucking dangerous. So I started getting nervous for her because I was there, right? It only looks dangerous because you don't look like someone who ever steps foot in the water.

Not definitely with that little fucking jeans, Timbs, and a fucking hoodie on, right? That's definitely not beach attire, right? In Brooklyn it is. We wear Timbs anywhere, right? So she walked past me, and then she just rose. And I'm like, oh, shit. I'm trying not to be a pervert.

Probably one of the reasons I was feeling that. And she was walking toward the water. She walked a little bit. It didn't look like she was getting in touch with nature, right? She walked a little bit. Did she go to the water? Did she go back? And I was like, do it.

Next thing you know, bitch just disappeared. Tush. Oh, she went in. She went in. And the bitch came back like bo derrick uh oh yeah yo i'm 10 that's a week yo i had i was diagnosed with jungle fever some years ago but i'm sure i still got the antibodies oh my god oh my god she came out that goddamn water with the hair back and everything and i was like you gonna say so i

I'm like, where the fuck did you come from? He was just hanging out, came through the show,

and then I was like, that was nice of him. I didn't know he had a place here. But then it happened again in D.C., and I think somewhere else. And then I'm in San Diego. But you stalked me this time. What? Nuh-uh.

My friend said, did you know Don on my instagram my friend said did you know donnell's in town i'm like that's that's coincidental what kind of friend a man a penis a guy a penis i don't like them penis don't hate that as motherfucker oh he was like did you see donnell's in town and i was like what he is i didn't know that yeah then when i found out you was in town i got excited i found out you were in town doing the show yeah so i came to the show to see you because I hadn't seen you in a while since you fucking cursed me out and said I'll never fuck with your black ass again. That's not even how it went down.

That was at the Rams game I cursed you out. Yeah, yeah. Oh, damn. I got cursed out twice in a matter of three weeks. I'm a fucking legend. Yeah, man. We were toxic. We were like that hot, cold, like that love, the hate.

It was. But when i found out i was like yeah that's my girl because before damn we got so much to talk about because we we we came together again over the summer we're gonna get to that story yeah yellow spring summer camp right so i was like this i'm in san diego uh i don't really have a night i'm not doing anything let me go to your show and then we're sitting there we're having a drink and we talked about it and i mean you look to me like just do it do it do it because i told you yeah i said i want to fucking jump in the ocean and i do it all the time i live in venice and i i did it you do it all the time yeah i do it all the time because it's so cold

but it's like you feel amazing you feel amazing i didn't know what that feels like a baptism i felt amazing because it was a white chick with a bathing suit talking to me on the beach. That chick was hot as shit. I saw her. Yeah, she was. She was hot.

maybe that won't happen but what i know it inspired me people on my instagram was inspired it was like always thought about doing i'm yeah do what I see out there living your life and I was like I'm never gonna see it again so I'm getting ready to get uh my lady and uh my the mother of my child um they're getting ready we're gonna go to the zoo yeah so I had an Airbnb out there like a little bit off off off where the beach was so I was double parked waiting for them to come out. And I looked down the street and it was this white chick in the middle of the street. No way.

And I don't know a lot of people out there. I was like, that look like the white bitch from the ocean. No way. Oh, wow. Let me tell you. I said,

that look like the white chick from the ocean. And I looked and I looked again and she was looking like this. And she said, she said, I know I said, Corey?

She, man, I got chills. That's crazy. Not just from jumping in the ocean, but that, I was like, look at how this story evolved, right? And I saw her and she was smiling. She was beaming with energy. I can't believe, she's your stalker what are the odds that's crazy but the odds are not in anybody's favor so i saw i was like what the she was like what the she said oh my god she was like what are you doing do you leave me i said no i'm in the airbnb i got my son here whatever and i just cut

her i said you have no idea i said i her. I said, you have no idea. I said, she said, I said, you have no idea what I did this morning. She said, what? I said, I jumped in the motherfucking ocean. I was so proud of you. I got chills. But look, let me tell you something.

She looked at me like I was crazy. She was like, because black people don't know when the water is rough, right? She was like, whoa. It was kind of rough out there. I don't know nothing about no riptide. Black people don't know about no riptide.

When I was a kid, I went out. I didn't think that. Suddenly, like you look around and you're like way out in the ocean. That's why kids get freaked out. When I was a kid,

I was at Myrtle Beach with my parents. I went out on a little floaty, like an inner tube and I fell asleep out there. I went past the waves and I just fell asleep. When I woke up,

I was a mile and a half down the beach. What? Yeah, because you just start floating in the direction of the current. So you, see,

is outside your comfort zone and the other night i posted like a two paragraph thing on my twitter because when i was in college they one of my professors assigned us to do something outside our comfort zone like way outside data black guy no that's way in my comfort zone that's the twilight that is my no but but like so um i was in college right so i'm like you know what i'm gonna do i'm homeless for a week and he was like that's how can i stop you for a second? That's the white people. The only people that do that. Nobody stays in hostels but white people. I'm going to go backpack over Europe and stay in hostels forever.

I live under a bridge for a week. You're right. Go ahead. But he was like, nah, because you like to camp and you like to rough it. And that's not for you. That's no big deal. And then I said, okay, I'm going to be blind for a week. He was like, that's way too extreme. I said, I'm going to not eat for a week. He was's like you're practically anorexic like nothing i came up that's

It's like the thing that could be outside your wheelhouse or your comfort zone. It doesn't have to be so big. Jumping in the ocean, okay, to you, because-

I knew you can do it. I kayaked like a couple times a week. I'm the river ninja. You didn't know that? I knew you can do it. River nigga, but you can't say it. I can't say it. I can't say it.

The whole idea of challenging myself to do different things, it started in the summer. And then this particular situation, I was like, wait a minute. If I could do this, it could be a start of me trying. Not that I could do anything, but at least trying to do it.
