they should put strep and sinus infections in all of it for those um but i was like okay i don't have that because i did lose my sense of smell for a second yeah and that's scary and that was scary so then i just got online to a online doc and said give me a z-pack and give me those little golden cough things and then it was gone i'm so happy for you our neighbor got sick right at the same time that you did with like something similar that she's a baby and so she didn't be worried about the baby getting it yeah but i'm glad you're feeling better thank you did you get everything done uh i got a lot done i got what i needed to get done done and now i have more i need to get done done gotcha yeah i uh took a moment to because coco sent me a message and said hey

no episodes this week i said and then i just like recorded her message and that was the day that i said yeah i can record and i listened back to my voice and i said nobody actually needed to hear that i did feel fine there was just stuff in my throat there's still stuff in my throat right now but well when we were doing the live stream and like it would be like you were talking and then suddenly it was like oh melissa actually can't finish that sentence she's having a coughing fit so like you know i've done that before too where i'm like well i feel a lot better but the voice and everything is like the longer that you talk then you go i'm actually starting to feel like not as awesome as i was before yeah so i'm glad we took a break me too i also had

several scripts that i needed to turn into so i don't know what and i still i'm you know constantly working on that but also this week been directing an audiobook is it the one we talked about uh-huh and she's great oh i'm so glad big fan big fan i keep seeing her everywhere now yeah she's just popping up yeah left right and center you're gonna see her in more places soon and i love that yeah i love when that happens um you should be so proud of me what'd you do what i'm watching poker face like i'm great and i'm almost done the cynthia revo episode don't i haven't watched no i'm just letting you know as soon as like i watched the first season when you told me that cynthia revo's in season two i was like that doesn't really match with like the projects i

typically see her picking like i can't really envision it so sorry for doubting you like i think it's my favorite episode i if you know her tv project it fits right into it oh and i haven't watched a lot of them but i have seen you know they exist tiktoks of them say and i haven't seen those tiktoks yet so i was a little confused if i'd seen those tiktoks they probably wouldn't be confused um but uh i'm glad you are feeling better because my allergies have been unless i can't even stress to you how out of control the entire left side of my face i wake up every day it is like swollen my sinuses hurt so bad i like cannot breathe out of my nose and i like looked up like los angeles allergens turns out the dust and dander allergens in los angeles are off the charts

for an indefinite amount of time like they're like we have no idea when it's gonna get better well it rained yesterday it didn't help it made worse well that also didn't help with the headache it and also it didn't rain yesterday it also hailed we had thunder and like oh i'm i didn't get all that over in my neck of the woods even though we're less than five miles away from each other it was because in today's i mean yesterday was also our trash day so you know in general like trash day you hear a sound you like pause what you're doing you go what is that oh someone pulling their trash cans in i it was so loud and it happened just as i the first like boom of thunder happened it was like a long earthquake level like it was like i had no thunder it was

just i woke up it i had another audiobook on top of the one that i'm doing as she does and i have gotten up early and where she she was in colorado and it was raining there and i was like it sounds like it it's wet outside but it's not raining i feel like it'll rain later you know like it just when people are driving by it just it just feels yeah something i stepped outside with my suede birkenstocks on and i said i'm putting the crocs on there's something in this air it's feeling muggy yeah and then while i was doing the next book i then heard it pouring rain and um then you texted me and i said it's not doing all that extra stuff it was pouring down but it wasn't thundering there wasn't hail no and then at one point the sun was out and it was

boring and i couldn't find a fucking rainbow which i was like excuse me like that's the whole point of this like they're i'm sure they're science but i also think it's magic but i like i at first thought that i had like access because i just pulled our bins in because it started to sprinkle and i like closed i don't know where our neighbors keep their bins but i knew that one of them was home but i closed their bins because they were in their wood workshop because i was like oh she can't tell that it's raining yeah and it was not on the forecast and so i shut the bins for them because i didn't want theirs to get filled with water and i dragged our and i like brought ours back and as i was like walking through a front door i heard the sound that sounded exactly like

what i had just done but like amplified so i was like did i record a video of me dragging the bins in and then somehow play it on full volume and i like i'm like just and then i'm just seeing lightning and it is i i also thought it was an earthquake at first it was so loud i was like if anyone doesn't know earthquakes kind of are louder than thunder and i was like what because everything rattles yes and rolls like a rattling rolling yeah the earth is the earth is a giant trash can being rolled aside like it was just it was crazy and it just like kept happening and then it would break for a second and it was wild but i had gone to pick up my new contacts because i had run out and i was like oh my god i'm on my last pair this is so stressful what am i gonna do

because i've of course becoming entirely dependent on them in the last like three months since i started wearing them I'm like my life is so much better all of that so I got them and I was like I could be wonderful amazing and then last night the man I love he was he was in a silly goofy mood and he kept being in this silly goofy mood and one of the silly goofy moods was like I keep blaming him he was like I didn't tell you to chase me and I was like yeah but you were running and I it involved it made whatever and we were at the grocery store and I'm like panting out of breath being like you need to stop goofing off with me because you know that I'm getting too tired but i'm not realizing i'm getting too tired until it's too late and then he was goofing off before

he was getting into the shower decided that he was going to just just come no i'm he made a joke that he wanted he kept trying to smell my armpit and i said stop trying to smell my armpit like leave me alone he was just trying to be silly and funny and he sits down on the couch and goes oops sat down broke my glasses not the fact that i have like nine pairs of glasses so like what does it matter no no he broke the one pair of glasses that i do not have a duplicate for because they are the new ones that i wear when i have my contacts in that i just picked up and i'm and he was like we'll fix it and i was like there's quite literally no way to fix this and um and so that's why he was calling me being like did you go to the optometrist like what

they say and i was like i haven't gone yet i'm literally just perching them like with one fucking arm on my nose when i need them and if i bring them there they're gonna keep them and then i have nothing and i know it's gonna take them i know they're just not they're not gonna be able to fix them they're gonna have to i'm gonna have to get a new pair and do all this stuff and i love that it's a small you know local optometrist office so of course their hours don't open till 10 and they of course close at five and of course they don't they're not open on Mondays nor are they open on Thursdays so like you know the timing of it you have to plan accordingly and uh I hate that I have to fix this like it's one of those things where I'm like I

deserve love and all of that they don't deserve to treat other people poorly or at the expense of other people and like i think there's like a whole thing also about like you add in like the religious aspects of this and like a church influence and all of these different kinds of things that like you know in general i don't think he by any means is a lost cause but i think like systems that like tell women that we need to stay in these like situations or accept this kind of a thing that is like the true villain origin story because the patriarchy affects everybody both the men and the women but currently yeah he he needs to be doing some other things instead of this next up we have melissa loves annual international deadbeat parent shaming day one percent said i

waiting to watch the whole thing with mots i am so fucking excited like so excited and mots knew a lot of the song i mean he knew e40 songs but when he was doing references i was like yes um but uh that guy on love island ace i want him to be with um shelly who i love who is she's so beautiful and then mots was like you know you guys kind of look alike i'm gonna show you what she looks like okay and i told month i was like she's so beautiful that's so i i don't know what where you're seeing it he then said maybe it was a face shape uh but you're gonna laugh because there is quite literally nothing okay that is not what i was expecting your faces aren't even shaped the same
