show called Too Long, Did Read It, where we dive into Reddit. And I've started just looking at people's profiles and seeing that there's nothing adds up about what they're talking about. So they're lying. But if we're going to play into the fantasy, they make it seem like this could happen to anyone. This is an everyday occurrence. And I have some serious feelings. If my partner was absolutely a absolutely loaded generational wealth, had so much money or won the lottery prior to meeting me prior to us dating and kept it from me up until we were going to get married. And then they revealed this because they wanted to make sure that I wasn't just in it for the money or with them for the money. I'd be fine with that. And I think all these

fucking people who are like, that's a really big betrayal. That's a really big lie are one of two things either a you have money you grew up with money you you've already had that there so like you're gonna look a gift horse in the mouth and say bye-bye i i don't i don't care i don't i don't want that or you're literally fucking lying like you're just lying what subreddits are you in most of these are lbi am i am i the asshole for not telling my girlfriend the last four years that i've got tons of oil money or i or not okay oil money i might be like yeah they don't they never specify what kind of money just that they like i i came into a great deal of wealth or i was a benefactor of someone's estate and like i didn't tell them and like now it's like i don't know what

to because if people are like well oh my god they saw me struggling financially and they did nothing okay fine cool now they're gonna pay for stuff we're legally bound to get there then yeah it's part of your responsibility too people are saying like oh my god that like for someone to like get on reddit and like write like oh my god would i be the asshole first of all that sounds like the best day i could ever have if macho's like i've been keeping a massive secret from you i have so much money i will say for y'all nine years in he would be the asshole this late in the game he'd be doing something illegal to keep that from me because like we bought a house together like i like he'd be hiding the money from the government like that would be a much

bigger issue um but like it would be our issue and we'd carry that load together because how much money is it like that's fine but like it's we can fix it yeah like i can think of it like just give me some cash like i truly just like cannot think of a circumstance or a situation when mom's like i've been keeping something from you seven billion dollars in which i would go anything other than sick what's the pin right and like you're not gonna miss it if you give me half a billion exactly like i'm talking about me as in a friend who yeah we've already talked about if one of us if one of us wins the lottery then we are taking care of the other exactly and when moss's parents like they like get so into the lottery and like moss will do that and all that

and they're like megan what about you and i was like well you guys got me covered and uh if i win i'll flip melissa and if melissa wins she gots me so like it's literally a line item in my spreadsheet and everybody's like megan what are you gonna do with the money i go that's none of my business if i i i don't i don't need to know about any of that stuff because i have you on this side and then i have her on this side and like i've got all the spots covered like that's totally fine so like it's just like it is a creative writing exercise and like not all of those people but the fact that like you can continually use this and then there will be people who it's like a split decision and people will be like that's a big lie and i go okay we

all know that this person is lying and now you in the replies are also lying to say that this wouldn't be the greatest thing you've ever heard also though like it's not even a good lie as for or like a creative writing exercise because all of these vertical dramas like drama box real short like this is the story for moat for i'd say about three-fourths of them it's secret billionaire like it's not even that creative anymore yeah and like stop being embarrassed that you're rich like it's okay i'll accept you for who you are exactly like the only time that we should be fighting about money is when it's a issue this is not a money issue this is a money value yeah you're adding to my life like if i find out that you have immense amounts of debt that's a different

that's a different story yes but like am i gonna be mad that you didn't tell me that you're set to inherit 150 million dollars no i'm not even going to pretend to be a little like oh my god i i feel so betrayed like you should have told me we're all about honesty no for 150 million dollars keep it secret yeah if you need to make sure that i didn't fumble this very large bag like thank you for looking out for me and our best interests so that's all i have to say and like maybe that's also how you know you're with the right person because like he could if that was a lie he told me i would go sick sick yeah thanks dude i can't wait what are we gonna do with the money right let's go somewhere yeah i don't even like traveling but like there are

friend evan 22 they them they've been close since university riley and i live in the same city while Evan is an hour north. Once a month Riley and Evan will commute to spend a night or two at the other's house. I recently found out that when they spend the night they share a bed. Before we could discuss it Evan had a personal emergency and Riley spent the night. I called Riley and explained that I wanted to have a whole conversation on a later date but for now I would prefer that they didn't share a bed. Riley agreed and respected the boundary but seemed surprised and said they felt it was being accusatory. They explained how nothing has ever happened between them and Evan and they sleep fully clothed and they don't even touch except maybe to cuddle. That really threw

me because physical touch like that is intimacy to me additionally riley has plenty of other sleeping options at evan's house other than the bed this is the part where i'm checking myself riley and evan are both gender fluid and i'm cis riley was assigned a different sex at birth than evan and evan's assigned sex at birth is a sex that riley is attracted to i'm worried i'm viewing their intimacy through a cis lens i.e vagina and penis i'm bisexual and would share a bed with a female friend only if there weren't other options am i wrong for this world view around platonic intimacy I mean I think so for me it's it's less about like gender and like genitalia and more about like the timeline so like I think if like you become friends in university which is college

and you have a share the bed cuddle relationship that to me is like a versus if you are childhood best friends who are like cousins who've known each other since you were five years old had sleepovers all the fucking time what do you mean I'm just should not be cuddling no no but like I'm saying like if you like in the sense of like this person is like there's not it's not a sex like our families are so close like we I've I've grown up with this person so so so much and so like it's that aspect of it like that to me but like I think sharing a bed and cuddling with like your closest friend who you only met a couple years ago that to me is like that's not like a oh we've we just do this because we've always done this and like that's not an age where you

just do that either so like I think that that's the that to me is like the part that I think is odd and I do think the cuddling part's fucking weird yeah there's different levels for this so like I have friends guy friends that I've shared beds with numerous times we've never cuddled but we share beds and they're straight cis men like we share beds but like we're not attracted to each other and so it's not an issue i've also had cisgender female friends they're straight and we've shared beds we're not into each other so it's nothing i have had like me and gabe have shared a bed and he is a he's trans mass and like that's not that's not an issue even though he is attracted to what i have as well but he's not attracted to me specifically and you're not

and i'm not attracted to him no but gave your heart yes and then like i've had a bisexual friend that i didn't know she was bisexual um because the people that i knew that she had dated were men but then um one time we were sharing a hotel room and she was open mouth gaping at me and i said what is this about and then later she told me she was bisexual and i wouldn't have changed in front of her because she was attracted to me like and i was like uh same with like cisgender male friends if they were attracted to me i would not change or share a bed with them so i think it's the the attractiveness but then also like if i'm in a relationship with somebody or they're in a relationship i don't think we should be cuddling or sharing a bed in that way if we're cuddling

right now like if if my friend was like he if he was married and then we shared a bed that's not appropriate or even in a relationship that's not appropriate yes it's not appropriate or necessary so i think that this is i i don't i don't think you're wrong on the situation no i i think like especially too it's not i think like viewing it as like you know attracted to this genitalia or whatever is very different than being attracted to that person like the concept of like oh i'm attracted to the parts you the people i'm attracted to people who have your parts versus like i'm attracted to you as a person right those things are way different but the desire to like cuddle and be close and do all of that kind of stuff i think is just point blank odd and odd

for odd for meeting this late in life and odd for being in a relationship because like the only person that i would the only like i'd sleep in bed with like any of my girlfriends like whatever like the only like guy besides mods that i'd sleep in a bed with like in and we're viewing this through the heterosexual lens like you asked like would be kyle who's gay and like the end one of you are attracted to each other yeah and so like he's the only person that i could ever see myself like even like cuddling a little bit with but like like you know he'd probably kick me in the ass while we're sleeping like it's just it's not like an intimate thing like that and especially like an intimate routine that established like later in life like it's just

like there is none of though like that like well of course we're not into each other it's like you only know each other for a couple years like what do you mean of course like it's not it's not like that so I think that like the cuddling part for me is like that's weird and but even beyond that like them like when did that start like I don't know I can't force I can't see like only people I cuddled with in college I was either hooking up with or like maybe doing other stuff with and I think if it's like to have some emotional intimacy because you're lacking that in like that I understand like people touch starved or whatever but that would have ended when you're in a relationship then and i think like the hiding it the saying it in plain sight thing is just like

well of course like well they're not hiding it they're saying it i'm like just because they might not assign like that this is inappropriate doesn't mean it's not inappropriate and like it doesn't mean that like they're doing it totally innocently they just might not be aware that like there's something in them that is wanting to do that despite the fact that it's inappropriate it. there you're welcome yeah and you're also it's not like you're like you're still like going to thanksgiving with a loved one with your boyfriend so i don't i don't think this would be out of the ordinary would it i don't know how long y'all have been together but like you're still going for christmas too yeah i i think that like maybe it's because um la most a lot of people are not from here so like most often people pick one that they see their family for or like they do the whole thing for one so like you know like your mom's coming here for thanksgiving so like people will do stuff like that but like so i think that like you know i think there's nothing wrong with this at all i think like it's funny and like you get to like be there the second time around and

like that gets to be your first time but it's not everybody's first time so it's like a little bit funnier more fun like that and you'll get to hear the debrief afterwards and like get the intel and all that and um i think like if you're if you know you're gonna have an awkward holiday i'd rather have one severely awkward holiday than two right and like even if it's like your boyfriend's family like there's drama that happens there it's not yours it's not your drama it's not your family shit and like you get to kind of like you know spread the wealth around like he gets to have some family shit shows then you get to have a family shit show and whatever but like i don't think it means that you're unsupportive like you're not supportive because like you're still going at

some point and you also okay so you're like i always thought my dad was gay anyway yeah and also if your dad was like not gay and he was bringing a girlfriend like that would be weird like it's not about like who he's bringing it's just like this is gonna be fucking weird and so like i'd rather not be there i'd rather not do that twice i'd rather have everyone else and then also like i feed off of other people's awkwardness so like i would rather be the only like i'd rather be the last one like i'd rather like every and not just like looking at everybody else being like oh my god i'm having secondhand embarrassment from all of you and i'm also having mine so like i think everyone should be thanking you yeah and also i think thanksgiving is a big time to be

introducing people into the family it's a little crazy so is your mom gonna be there too i'm assuming i think so i'm just like trying to and it's also been five years since they were divorced yeah and did she know like she might have just known the whole time and they oh they meant now i go i think she knows now no not now i think that you know they could have had a lavender marriage and the writers like i don't know how that worked yeah i mean it's not your business i grew up with families who had kids and then got divorced by the time that like we were in elementary school parents were divorced and gay and with other people and yeah it was like it was not it wasn't it wasn't even a thing like it was just like it is what it is like whatever it's like anyone being

some some news in the world that's also wild uh that's not about that so same i hope we didn't pick the same thing it's about a bear no okay go ahead i want to read you the title of this article okay bear that attacked luxury car was actually a man in a costume investigators say okay let's here so uh there were three insurance claims that were filed involving like a bear damaging luxury cars and this is in la by the way so this is this is recent um i think it's an it's in and this you're gonna get ready where they said it was so they they claimed that it was in lake arrowhead that's where like this would have happened so somewhat more believable but like lake arrowhead is not like teeming with bear like tahoe more but like you know and maybe but it's not i wouldn't

say it's wild with it. So four residents in L.A. were arrested as part of the scheme that has happened on at least three different occasions. And they are charged with fraud. It was determined that it was not actually a bear. So the suspects are Ruben Tamarazian, 26, Aria Churkanian, 39, Vahe Murdurankian, 32, of Glendale, and Althea Zuckerman, 39, of Valley Village. They've all been charged with insurance fraud and conspiracy i might have pronounced those names wrong but um we'll list them so the california department of insurance began investigating the alleged bear attacks after the insurance company received the claim in january and they were like smells like fraud so the vehicle owners told the insurance that a bear entered their 2010 rolls

royce in lake arrowhead causing extensive interior damage and they even provided video footage of the incident the video showed what looks like a furry creature looting around in the vehicle but after closer look investigators determined the bear was actually a person in a bear costume and so then to confirm it wasn't an actual bear a biologist from the california department of fish and wildlife reviewed the footage and concluded it was clearly a human in a bear suit then they conducted a search warrant at the suspect's home led them to discovering the costume of the bear and it has handheld claws that are used uh and they have like they're like claw tools they're like actual they look like wolverine like um brass knuckle level things they were able to like cause the similar

damage investigation also uncovered two additional fraudulent claims at the same time in place involving a 2015 mercedes and a 2022 mercedes all three claims featured the same alleged bear damage with videos provided to different insurance companies and they are the suspects are accused of defrauding their insurance companies more than 141 000 who drives a rolls royce to arrowhead to arrowhead i have no idea i'm gonna show you the picture of this costume melissa ridiculous it's like i gotta say it's like the reverend style like we're getting pretty lifelike do bears use their claws like that when they're just like looking for things that's like an attack bears when they're going through cars they're usually just looking for food

yeah so i think that would be i think that's why insurance was like this doesn't seem quite right i have to say the costume is like a pretty good bear costume but like i have i think you would have to be because it's like those like security footage is like shitty like it's not like very great and it's gonna be at night like it's not gonna be the best so for me i'm like you must have been being a really bad bear for them to go that's a human in a bear suit like that to me like i think this is la hire an actor like this is what do you mean they figured it out that it was a human in a bear suit from shitty grainy like at night footage that is such a bad performance so this is hilarious i know i'm addicted to this story um it literally i like literally saw it this morning and

i was like there's no fucking way i think i i don't i think i literally found it because i had one political one that i like didn't really want to talk about and when we took a break to go pee i was like let me see if i can find another and i found it great job thank you thank you thank you um can't wait to follow it along mine is also one of deceit and maybe i'll come back in a month or so and it won't be true but looking like it could it is true so this man ryan bogart people have thought he was dead after a kayaking trip but now the authorities say he faked his death and fled to Europe. So this man is a father. His children, young children, have been mourning. They found evidence that he used his passport after his disappearance and may have traveled to Europe.

He texted his wife on August 11 and said that he was turning his kayak around and headed to shore soon. But when he didn't return home, his family then contacted law enforcement and was like, He hasn't come back. And they sent out a search and rescue and they did an extensive search for 54 days. There were divers, drones, sonar, dogs, and there was no body recovered. Then they whitened the scope. Then they checked the borders and they discovered that on August 13th, he went to Canada. They then learned that he reported his passport loss or stolen and was issued a new one prior to his disappearance. His previous passport was later recovered from his wife, indicating he may have traveled on the new document. So he used his new passport to go to Canada. He they've done forensic analysis on his laptop and found that he took three hundred and seventy five thousand dollars of life insurance policy out and transferred the funds to a foreign bank account. They photographed his new passport and then altered his email address before he vanished.

They found now that he had replaced his laptop hard drive and cleared his browser history the day before he disappeared. they've also evaluating like what the appropriate criminal charges will be once he's found his family is uh cooperating because again they have been mourning this man and thought that he disappeared but he did disappear but by choice uh according to law enforcement the wife she has done everything that we have asked for in regards to helping us with information and holding on to information unfortunately we had to keep this quiet for about a month from the time we started thinking that he was somewhere else until he had we had enough information that we could share with the world our hope is then at some point we'll be able to hold ryan accountable for his actions and

request uh restitution so how did he get access to his own life insurance policy maybe you really maybe maybe he what happened it was that he when the wife maybe filed it it went to it automatically went to a bank account that he had access to and then he transferred it or he reported it himself yeah so then his wife wouldn't be tipped off wow and they still haven't found him no now i think after he went to canada he flew to europe from there i'm gonna say the man who's doing all of this work instead of just divorcing his wife and being a deadbeat without going to jail i feel like maybe he's gotten plastic surgery now like this seems he seems incredibly committed to this yeah and like imagine like if i'm sure he was like a shitty fucking husband at this point like this is

like all of us and like imagine if he like couldn't even pick up his like wet towel and she's like but you could do all of this this you could do i'm i mean he has to be that's what i'm saying like it's like you know people talk about like you can be a good father and a bad husband like i don't know what he's like as a father this is a very shitty move as a father but like i can guarantee you he has been a shitty fucking husband and her to be like this is the mental load you've been carrying the whole time i've been keeping our fucking life afloat you were planning this shit wild so i'm gonna read one last thing from the local authorities and they said there's one last thing i want to do and this is to ryan ryan if you're viewing this i plead that you
