Starting point is 00:01:22 Visit Ancestry.ca for details. Terms apply. welcome to another episode of what am i wrong starring me melissa and the birds i was gonna say if you can hear this i don't know if coco's gonna be able to get it out there are birds everywhere like Hitchcock birds like that Melissa sounds like she's in the birds like it's terrifying I hate these freaking birds I have tree I don't want to say the specific tree because I don't know where else has these they're not a tree that is native to here no like a lot of those in they have but you know no keep it keep it yourself yeah and these birds love the fucking fruit that these
Starting point is 00:02:21 trees bare but they instead of just like knocking a couple down and eating them on the ground where there's millions and i'm not lying when my mom my mom walked over one and thought that it was like gunshots going off and i was like calm down it's just the cone and the seeds popping out she goes gotham city and then she tripped over a few more of them just quite comical on my yeah that is instead of eating the ones on the ground they just try to eat one out of the cone and then it falls on the ground and there's millions of birds and the seeds and if i could train them so they could just fill up their little mouths on the ground and fly away i would i don't know how to do that i don't have the patience and i feel like i would get shit on a lot yeah i i think
Starting point is 00:03:16 that makes sense but am i wrong what is this show this is a show where we talk about when we're wrong we talk about when you are wrong we talk about when other people are wrong we talk we talk shit and it's really fun it's really great and we are never wrong but sometimes we are but one of the best parts about this show is we want you to vote on who you think was wrong in each segment so we do that over on our instagram stories and then we read the results along with the messages that you send with like why you voted the way you did your thoughts and feelings personal experience um you know just stream of consciousness like literally whatever we read all of that on our tuesday episode called see you next tuesday and it's a grand old fantastic great old time
Starting point is 00:03:58 and i can't wait i guess by the time this comes out that the one will already be out what my white michael b jordan yeah that came out already no no but the the results oh the way i am no it won't because we're recording it this comes out on monday that we'll record it on monday okay the way i am foaming at the mouth ready to see what you all have to say about that because i need i i i need to know we should get method right in what she means what what she thinks that is i want to get a police artist sketch draw white michael b jordan and what are they gonna look like mary you didn't answer my call you weren't on the live stream so i couldn't yell at you maybe she's recovering from her um marathon hey am i wrong okay um mine is
Starting point is 00:04:48 more of a realization that i had and i'm really i was enlightened and i would like to enlighten all of you and it's not a cult but again we're not opposed to starting one of those and that is some men have pixie cut and i think we need to stop giving them names other than pixie cuts well i think all the men at the timothy chalamet look-alike contest but they go in and they say i want a number six i want we're not ordering from in and out tell me what pixie cut do you want do you want an ellen pixie cut like who what who do you want like are we talking Michaela Cole like what kind of short hair are we talking like and I think that the fact that as a woman I as a straight woman
Starting point is 00:05:43 I like look at all of the men that I have like you know been upset over or whatever and I realize like I have let boys with pixie cuts make me feel bad make me cry and I just think that like as a society we need to let the men know that they're not special they don't get to come up with their own hairstyles they don't get to come with their own names they have pixie cuts and some men even have lisa runa hair like i was actually gonna say um last week when you called it a fuck-ass bob i was like actually it's a it's a pixie it's i feel like it is like the epitome of a pixie cut with the flip it's tinkerbell it is tinkerbell yeah but i also think tinkerbell is it's it is the vibe of a fuck-ass bob like i don't think tinkerbell doesn't have a fuck-ass
Starting point is 00:06:28 bob flipped it the other way it's a bob it's just the fact that she flips it up yeah because she knows she said this is where i'm going up and out baby we're not staying close in it and i just think that like yeah like we need to people say like oh my god it goes both ways we need to have a common ground between men and women and the first step men we're abolishing the names of all of your haircuts and you have to admit and acknowledge and we as a society need to acknowledge that men just have pixie cuts and i love that and you know i've said the queen of the pixie cut who without a doubt brought in a picture of ellen degeneres justin bieber he said yeah give me that dancing lady's swoopy little hair yeah it's the same that's why they would she would call him his
Starting point is 00:07:12 her little twin and then try to manufacture her own version yeah what Ryan Beattie oh my god there's been more we both said ones that actually happened you're right
Starting point is 00:07:27 Grace and Chance no Chase is what on the sibling show the other two that's what they call him Chase Ryan Beattie who by the way everybody is making fire music making incredible music he were he was on wait he was on cowboy carter as a little child
Starting point is 00:07:47 no that was um maddie b raps i thought yeah who was also on the ellen show and they all have a pixie cut you're right they all ellen to generous is upset you know ellen generous might be the first one who said these boys have pixie cut and i'm gonna wait for all of you bitches to know and ellen we don't agree on a lot of things but you giving those little boys pixie cuts thank you for your service yeah that that is i just i'm dying over the idea of that and i do wonder if like for me i like longer hair on a man and i'm like so do i like a lob like am i liking a am i liking a bob a robert that's not quite a bob what you because the bob has to have a very specific body angle to it and what you like is not a bob no it's a shag it's a shag oh yeah
Starting point is 00:08:41 I like a shag you like a shag baby so I want everybody to know if you're like if you're crashing out over like a man and like this is the time to remember that he has a pixie cut and I hope that helps and if not photoshop Ellen DeGeneres's hair on him because when I put mods in that ellen wig i was like i can just save this in my head for later but just imagine like that little noise that happens when tinkerbell comes around every step he walks you know he's swooping that hair no there's no shot in the hell that this man at some point in his in his pixie cut journey has not had a side by side like pulled up on his phone a picture of a woman in a tuxedo vest showing him how to use a pomade these men aren't learning how to use their pomade from men no no
Starting point is 00:09:38 no they're using a texture wax to do this here from a portia de rossi hair tutorial like that's what's happening and i just think like you go to the wife i know they both have pixie cuts are you more are you in the mood for an ellen a little longer and a soupier or a portia a little more spiky a little more edgy porsche sometimes has a fuck-ass bob there you go and some pixie cuts are fuck-ass bobs but not all pixie not all bobs are fuck-ass pixies or not all fuck-ass bobs well or you can just be a fuck-ass pixie um but yeah ryan beattie wrote on protector bodyguard just for fun and two hands to heaven and he he's and he his ep is fantastic and he like came out after i forget what year but he was like doing like a mag he was like with like the vine boys
Starting point is 00:10:26 or whatever you gotta finish that sentence mag con mag con because you say mag uh and i'm like i knew you wouldn't but you gotta finish the sentence no you're right and i also forgot that you don't know his discography which is very gay um but so he came out after that and like wasn't out when he was on ellen or any of that stuff and then he wrote the most insanely beautiful his ep is like fantastic like so fucking good and i was like i hope they get this kid on anyone like writing for shit like this is so good i like i hope it blows up but i was like he's a fantastic writer and then when i saw that he wrote on uh he's touring with noah khan right now but he wrote on cowboy carter i was like beyonce finds him on that note um we're gonna take a break and get back
Starting point is 00:11:13 into mine yep let me know who your favorite boy the pixie cut is and also honorable mention to boys the bobs this episode is brought to you by Accenture when your advertising operations fall out of sync everything else
Starting point is 00:11:39 follows Spotify and Accenture are working together to reinvent the rhythm of ad sales using automation analytics and smarter workflows to simplify campaign
Starting point is 00:11:48 delivery and access better data across the business the result less time spent on operations more time connecting brands with the moments and fandoms that matter most learn more at accenture.com spotify hear that it's your money calling it wants a promotion elevate your savings with the scotia high interest savings account always earn high regular interest rates that grow the more you save and invest conditions apply visit scotiabank.com slash hisa to learn more scotiabank you're richer than you think when you buy furniture from wayfair you're not just getting furniture you're setting your home up for a lifetime of memories visit wayfair.ca today or download the wayfair app
Starting point is 00:12:38 furniture made for all of life's moments that's wayfair wayfair every style every home we're back from our break let us know who you think is ugly hot and then let us judge you oh someone did ugly hot versus hot ugly versus hot hot and pete davidson and joe carlo are both on the ugly hot and then hot ugly they have wow i actually agree with some of these jake gyllenhaal mm-hmm liam hemsworth zach efron and harry styles i do not find harry styles attractive in the least bit there's nothing about that man that i'm like yeah there's been some photos where i go i totally get i think he's pretty but i don't know that i'm like i don't like sexy he's not my type at all no no but like when you look at someone who i think is pretty like i think matt not yeah like matt
Starting point is 00:13:40 Bomer I'm not sexually attracted to Matt Bomer I think I'm sexually attracted to Matt Bomer yeah I think for me there's a difference of like someone who I'm like oh you're very pretty but like I'm not I don't see your hairstyles at all and like I like a little a man that's a little feminine it's not bad it's just him yeah and then they do this they've lost me here and then they get into the hot hot okay brad pitt yeah no theo james not theo vaughn yes then who's this creamy i can't tell if this is a photo shoot or he's from in 1955 who is that i don't know once i'm asking you i mean like if we made him more plasticky he would look like kill him whatever color Kill'em
Starting point is 00:14:26 Kill'em Killian Murphy Killian Murphy? There we go Holy shit, the way that I got there from No, you start with We are making sounds Which I think Killian
Starting point is 00:14:44 Murphy is ugly hot I'll give that one I say this to my fellow Irish we do fall into that category a lot did something now you're claiming irish you were claiming it a few minutes ago no i i was claiming it when when we're putting paul mescal on on a pedestal yes without a doubt when we're saying sometimes the irish can be ugly hot hot ugly are there any non white people on this list no it was of course not this is a this is reddit this is a vindicta
Starting point is 00:15:19 celebs one they're okay i thought you were on tiktok no no no no no uh the reason why i picked this one is because i'm like oh they they will they will talk about the hot the ugly white boys then the other hot the hot hot they have in here which is how i know like this is how i already knew this sub was unwell tom cruise i knew that was gonna be the way that it never crossed my mind that like tom cruise was like that was a thing for anyone in the 80s and 90s people were obsessed with it. Like every TV show they would be like Tom Cruise
Starting point is 00:15:52 Tom Cruise. It's like Katie Holmes had said that in a in a magazine like 16 magazine teen magazine. 17 magazine? I meant she was 16 years old. Oh oh oh I said no wonder why that magazine didn't last
Starting point is 00:16:09 I already had 17. Why your demo? As a teenager she had put that Tom Cruise was her crush and then and then he said how about i indoctrinate you into my cult and then you have to leave in the middle of the night with our child and then i will never speak to you either again and make your life miserable and she said well if you said all that probably wouldn't have done it so my yeah what's yours 45 so sorry everybody
Starting point is 00:16:34 oh mine is stop trying to make sundown towns cool call them alabama call them yep call them first of all that sounds a little too close to klansman c-u-l-l-m-a-n sorry but also do you know what culling is that's what i thought of like the people in twilight no culling the process of separating organisms from a group based on desired or undesirable characteristics fits yeah so uh they have this thing called krista dow market and they like to market it as a hallmark village and i will say it does look very picturesque but when you say that it's like a german town in christmas also doesn't work in your favor because what did you just say coal oh culling yeah the definition of culling yeah
Starting point is 00:17:41 also specifically that's used tends to be talked about in livestock not humans well to some people exactly that's what i mean not human uh-huh and uh people are saying that calling this sun downtown is sun downtown the people that live there they're saying that they're so offended and it being labeled as this is wild i don't know if this is their if they were having a contest in town saying everyone get on tick tock and tell all your friends that like come here including black people but make it make your video say that this is not a racist place and say this it's not racist here you're okay this one man colby duckett got online with his whole chest a white man with blue eyes and he said that he's never experienced racism there
Starting point is 00:18:39 after people came out and were like hold up you haven't experienced racism because you're a white man he then doubled down and said yes just because it's not my experience i can tell you from experience that this is not a racist town and then there was a white woman that was like i'll escort you around and you know what that's giving me the the vibes of when schools were desegregated and people were getting escorted around it's also giving me vibes of the blue bracelets so um a black woman got on the internet her name is um gabrielle not sure how you pronounce it haven't seen the spelling before gabrielle turner said if you go and look at the trees you'll end up in ornament a lot of people are saying in recent years when they were in high
Starting point is 00:19:38 school and their sports teams would go play there they would be called all not just the players but also the fans that were coming to support their teams would be called all sorts of slurs other teams when they were driving their buses through were told not to stop in that place some schools within the district within the school system itself let out early because they don't want it to get like after school activities to be too late because then children are after the sun is down but there are numerous people defending this racist ass town but way more saying no including white people are saying no don't come here do not come here i don't go there the only reason i go is is because i had to drive through to get to birmingham and it's alabama like alabama
Starting point is 00:20:31 i'm and i can say that as somebody from arkansas alabama is racist period arkansas is racist period even though i come from the most liberal part of arkansas or one of the most liberal parts of arkansas i still heard racism so you're going to tell me there's a little backwoods town in alabama there's no racism maybe because there's no people of color there so therefore there is no racism because there's no one to be racist too but i guarantee you there's classism um i'm i'm thinking this might be an epidemic because when you were talking about this i was like oh i know what you're talking about and i went to go back to this tiktok and i was like searching for it and i finally found it no no it's a different place that i'm thinking of but
Starting point is 00:21:18 i saw this person do a post of being like it's one of those like why would you take a camera everywhere you go like because but like you know like i want to like capture the memories like one of those sounds or whatever and it's this like big area they have all these like icicle lights hanging down and i'm someone who i love a good flora i love a good fauna and based on the trees alone i said it's just giving very the notebook and you know those trees in the notebook you understand usually what the indicate and i'm looking and i'm squinting i go some big wide open spaces and i got a lot of land and i look it up and it's called brook green gardens and i click the location and it says it is in south carolina and i said we are getting warmer and warmer
Starting point is 00:22:04 and then i look at it and i by the way before taking mind i'll tell you what i commented after i commented before i did any research which i don't usually condone doing but i would like to say i was right um and i i'm looking and i'm looking and i'm looking and i'm scrolling on the wikipedia and it goes oh it was developed on the property of four former rice plantations and i'm like ah there you go the comment i left on the video is this a plantation the comment deleted well well well well well and like the man who owned this before his death in 1853 he held more than 100 000 enslaved african-americans and his estate it was the largest slaveholder in the United States. And I'm like, and they're having this Christmas thing where you walk through all
Starting point is 00:22:47 these lights and it's this destination. I'm like, oh, my God, I got to get there. And I'm looking at the comments. I go, why is nobody? And I went back after I was like, OK, confirmed I was not wrong. This is a plantation. And every nobody's commenting that are looking at that. I'm like, is this like a new initiative to be like, hey, it's not just enough for wedding venues here. let's make it christmas and then let's have white people on tiktok go and tell you to come it's a setup suspicious very suspicious i'll hold your hand and guide you through this feels like like get out too yeah this is yeah and i just like i literally this was like last week i was looking at this and i was like baffled and i was like once i realized well had the confirmation
Starting point is 00:23:32 it was a plantation not a single word about that on any of this and i was like and they deleted my comment and i was like what's going on that's suspicious you can hang isocolites anywhere but like i also wonder if other people are not privy to like those what kind of trees are those you know i'm talking about and like sturdy yeah like these ones feel bad for the plant like those trees didn't ask to be associated with but like it inherently is for me and so i'm like i what i'm like so do other people know not so much like same thing with when the crawdad sings as soon as i saw like the cover art when people was like book of the year or whatever i said oh i know it is it this book's gonna be it's either gonna be
Starting point is 00:24:18 what it should be or what it's not and then when i have people like it's not very good i said okay i will with that location yeah if it's bad it's bad maybe it's because the knot took the most these plantations off of recommendations, and they said we gotta make a money. They said, call up Hallmark. Let's get that in here. Alright, we're gonna take a break.
Starting point is 00:24:42 When we get back, we'll get into Butter Euro. When WestJet first took flight in 1996, the vibes were a bit different. People thought denim on denim was peak fashion, inline skates were everywhere, and two out of three women rocked the Rachel. While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get when WestJet welcomes you on board. Here's to WestJetting since 96. Travel back in time with us, and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years. Hear that? It's your money calling.
Starting point is 00:25:25 It wants a promotion. elevate your savings with the scotia high interest savings account always earn high regular interest rates that grow the more you save and invest conditions apply visit scotiabank.com slash hisa to learn more scotia bank you're richer than you think all right now it's time for but are you wrong this is when y'all write in with your predicaments in life that you want to know if you're wrong about it and we will put this out to a vote on our instagram megan and melissa for everyone listening to participate in and share their own thoughts so if you'd like to participate send us an email to but am i wrong pod at gmail.com keep it to 300
Starting point is 00:26:22 words or less include your pronouns if you'd like your age definitely and pseudonyms and if you're gonna cast people please explain what you mean by that casting yeah i guess you're right the one time you said who would play him is not a man who exists white michael b jordan i will never get over it i again i need i need someone to sketch it up show me what that looks like and i'm i'm vehemently against ai so i will not be asking ai to do it but i need someone to to figure out what this man's supposed to look like okay i i enlisted an actual artist if you like to get paid send you a free sweatshirt that says therapy on it for the therapy i need after someone said the two words combined a white michael b jordan if we get into that again i'll start crying i i couldn't you say
Starting point is 00:27:23 straight i need us to clip that because i want to watch it every day like i'm gonna clip it i'm gonna clip it today fucking funny okay so first up me would i be wrong to break up with my boyfriend because he won't marry me i've been with my boyfriend i want to say you said first up me i just want to clarify this is not you megan this is somebody that wrote it so sorry yeah In case somebody was new and didn't know how it actually works. No, this is from a writer. Yeah. Would I be wrong to break up with my boyfriend because he won't marry me?
Starting point is 00:27:52 I've been with my boyfriend for seven months. I love him. He loves me. Blah, blah, blah. I'm 35. He's 38. We've lived together for about a month now. He's overstayed his visa.
Starting point is 00:28:01 And after the election results, I told him that we need to get married. He said no because we haven't been together that long. But he does see a future with me. He said that we'll figure out how to make it work. But I don't trust the new administration at all, obviously. Was I wrong to bring up marriage? Oh, and my boyfriend has his own successful online business and is technically running it illegally
Starting point is 00:28:17 because he shouldn't be operating here. But since it's virtual, he makes it look like he's working from his country. What do you mean about the second part? Like, don't report this man. If this man won't marry you, don't get him deported. Like, don't you, like, stop. Like, don't do that.
Starting point is 00:28:31 Like, that's, that's too much. That's too much. I think, like, unfortunately, if he despite the fact that oh it's okay well you know it's gonna be hard green card we'll be dating whatever like let's do it if he's not into that that is the same thing as a man who's not interested in marrying you point blank because like i have lots of friends who have been with people who have been in green card application process or work visas or whatever that is and like have been like we were planning on just getting married not telling anybody to continue
Starting point is 00:29:06 dating we were gonna divorce and then they got the green card lottery or they got married earlier than they would have and they're still together and like it's not it because of the inconvenience of that so like to me that's like not a preposterous thing like i don't think you're wrong to suggest that whatsoever but i do think you have to take what he said as like the answer and like he's also not wrong and like if he wants to run the risk of like being asked to leave like up and like starting this long process leave he's gonna get kicked out well or or if he like has like a six but he's got like he knows that he has like a six months left on his work visa and having to go back and then having to wait depending on how many work visas he's had if he has to wait that
Starting point is 00:29:46 do that waiting period not here has to do that where he's from and then wait for the application to get processed and approved and then that can take sometimes years and then he's back if you are not like he is totally allowed to be like yeah that's a risk i'm willing to take and you're also allowed to be like i'm not like i don't want to fucking do that so you're not wrong at all for bringing it up but i think like he's also not wrong for what he his answer is like it is relatively soon you've been together for two months um and if he wants to deal with the headache that's on him but at the same time like do you want to do a long distance but like at some point also the fact that he's legally running a business here
Starting point is 00:30:27 hilarious he's making it look like that he is doing it virtually doing it but he's doing it virtually making look like it's operating in the country that he's in oh yeah actually you don't want to marry him that was about to say he's not somebody
Starting point is 00:30:43 you want to marry like this is not this is a scammer if this business is not scamming for the greater good like health insurance or something i what what are you doing with this man because i think that if you then get legally tied to this man and he gets caught on you know he doesn't get deported but he gets caught on his illegal
Starting point is 00:31:09 business that he's doing now you're financially tied to him well you don't want to be married to him you have email records saying that you know that he's doing this now you sent us you have you sentences eat you have to break legally you have to break up like you'll get this email address because you've implicated yourself in a fraud yeah like i i on the other hand i actually don't care what he's doing like i really don't he could be a drug dealer for all i care i really don't care what business he's operating out of here i don't care that it's illegal i don't care the immigration process here is so fucking insane it's so hard i could like what that's fine but i do think if i was with someone who was on a visa of some kind here not a permanent resident and they
Starting point is 00:31:54 were operating their business and it was not by the book and they were fudging things and i knew that the last thing i would want to do was to be like let me legally tie my name to yours because you're also the american citizen here so the america wants to come after him where are you gonna go to jail like they're gonna deport him you're gonna go to jail yeah no no no no but all of this is a i know i don't know that you were saying that that was like a threat but at the end it was helpful information for us i can see there's two ways that you wrote that of being like here's some more information or like and i also have this what do you think i could do with don't don't do anything with that info just don't even read it as like a bridge no i'm saying there's
Starting point is 00:32:39 two of the ways of being like but it's just it's funny to me that that's what your brain yeah like i'm like okay well now that we think that was helpful information for us you might have to now to get yourself out of it not to marry him no turn him in oh because you've sent us email open an incognito tab and look into clearing your cache incognito freaking google is getting sued right now because that shit doesn't actually work let's hope this is a class action suit unfortunately let's hope he's selling weaponry to the army or um what other things will they say no good on you chap carry on i'm just really getting into it or um um something else here that like or medical medical supporter yeah like something like that unfortunately i had a line
Starting point is 00:33:41 with this uh spacex yeah like he might get appointed to something yeah they say hey you want to run the pentagon something like that so uh he's like such a computer genius since he is running this business completely illegally here successful business i might add a little confused about that he would have to be able to clear he you need to burn your computer right now yeah throw it in the sea yeah not even the sea the sea can be recovered it's got to be incinerated melt it down give it feed it to the pigs feed it to the pigs always feed it to the pigs same with your compute your phone any place that you're logged onto this email with get rid of it uh-huh delete the email account at the end of the day we're saying this all with humor ha ha yeah this
Starting point is 00:34:31 is a bit we're acting this isn't serious um so at the end of the day you i don't think you i i i think that the marrying him is is is not the right option because also at this point i would make sure that if he's changing his business over to the states that that is all done t's are crossed i's are dotted and it is all good and it's all fine before i'm getting married to you because i don't want to hop in on that he also like is he a mastermind or like does he like not even really know that this is like super is he like no i just say i'm like working it's like van life bro i like say that i'm working from home what's it called with the ip address a vpn yeah he's got like a vpn like me watching love island he goes this is fine for me to commit a federal crime yeah
Starting point is 00:35:23 like i actually don't know if express vpn endorses that so yeah like there are people on like reddit who will have like a i forget what it's called but like a people who have two jobs two corporate jobs at the same time and they don't tell the other or whatever the way that these people run their lives like mr and mrs smith they have like they have secondary phones secondary computers other ip addresses they route they have to do all of that stuff for a corporation to just like not flag it to be like hey are you double dipping not even necessarily it's not even technically illegal it's just like very bad poor form and they don't want you to do that and so they they fire you for that but like people get fired for like way less of a slip up of that that i'm like i'm sorry this man
Starting point is 00:36:04 What kind of company is my I think the likelihood this is Amazon drop shipping. That's what I'm thinking. So I'm really glad we solved this for you, because I think now you're not worried about he won't marry me. You're like, oh, holy shit. Am I going to. Right. And if they ask us if we know anything, we know. Listen to me right now.
Starting point is 00:36:25 I know nothing. It's never happened. Hi, Megan and Melissa. I love your pies and have been listening since 2020. i want to know if you ladies think i'm in the wrong for how i responded to a text flash just think you might enjoy the story he he he thank you i ha ha you're he he background i 31 female met arthur 34 mil i'm out so sorry all i i just imagined a a yellow sweater with a fist that's all i see arthur 34 mil off of hinge had a really good
Starting point is 00:37:05 first few days that felt really promising we had sex on the third it was really good he made me come twice but never again without me finishing the job isn't that funny so so he made you come twice and then he said psych actually i'm good you're gonna have to this is hands-free yeah Okay. Okay. I already hate him. To shorten the story, I felt him pulling away, becoming less affectionate and interested halfway through our time together.
Starting point is 00:37:33 I got COVID on our last date. Somehow he never tested positive. On my seventh day quarantine, I sent him a text ending thing citing lack of emotional connection. This is one month of dating total with his two week long vacation in the middle. FYI. So two weeks. Yeah. Mind you, I never asked him to be my boyfriend or anything as I felt him pulling
Starting point is 00:37:57 away and was anxious about him as things progressed. I went on two more first dates the week before I got COVID. I was really annoyed with him for assuming things, but I was worried about the emotional connection piece for my future. Three days ago, he texted me at like 3 a.m. I kind of miss hanging out with you. I laughed to myself. I had been considering reaching out for more info about the emotional connection part of his text wait so he was the one that texted okay on my seventh day quarantine he sent a text message ending things citing lack of emotional connection okay okay he did that got it i have been considering reaching out for more info about the emotional connection part of his text but now i'm reassured that he probably that
Starting point is 00:38:45 he's probably just a fuck boy so per a friend's suggestion i reacted haha i like how you booked into this i reacted haha to the text now i'm worried that i was more unkind than necessary so was i wrong for doing that no i got a laugh out of this i enjoyed it if there was no emotional connection and he was the one that was pulling away and um he didn't really check on you while you had covid and then you just responded haha that's more than he that's more than he could ask for and it was at 3 a.m in the morning 3 a.m period might i introduce another one into your repertoire which i have done and it works every time who is this the next morning i also like that night or just uh react or you know you can put the stickers on now and it could be your
Starting point is 00:39:41 actual face going shrugging send back the picture of the selfie of drake when he's on in the on the pool floaty or whatever like i try not to look at him ever that photo is unfortunately ingrained in my it's stuck there this noggin will never be able to get rid of it i'm glad the rest of the world has caught up to me i know i said that months ago but i did my rant on this here show but every day it's just getting we're just getting ourselves closer and closer to this downfall anyway yep we didn't say anything we didn't give anything we didn't give any advice um um no the advice was you did a great job yeah you did a great job we don't have to give advice that's not what this show is about right good job you're not wrong you're not wrong at all and again next

Starting point is 00:42:04 zeitgeist who we think deserves some shaming. And I know last week I teased that I was doing the carrots. I can't because there's so many other things that are more interesting. All you need to know is don't eat carrots, okay? They have listeria. No, they don't. They have E. coli.
Starting point is 00:42:17 But be very afraid of listeria because that is also a deli meat right now. And that is why they burned the witches because it is widely speculated that all the symptoms of the quote-unquote initial witches in salem had was from an infected crop of wheat and they were displaying symptoms of listeria and then they killed them because they were dumb and don't get listeria no the women were not dumb the women were smart they just had they ate bad wheat they had bad wheat and then
Starting point is 00:42:46 they and only a couple of them and then they said naturally my thing called women i have so many i want to talk about okay i have two okay well i have one that i actually have to talk about because well so the way i've been wanting to do this for two weeks but i was like she's gonna kill me if i talk about this she's gonna hate this so much but specifically because of that i haven't been able to stop thinking about it and i'm like i have to do it despite if you hate me okay so i would like to nominate a perfume company called born to stand out yeah you'll have no idea where this is coming this is going no they released uh i guess they're like very like subversive sense it's one of those like you know perfume tiktok has become a thing if anyone is unaware because i can't smell it
Starting point is 00:43:29 no most of the way that i'm like i and i don't describe anything the way other people would describe it and i go i don't know what this means no i don't know what the fuck musk is besides you that's what i think yeah like be i'm like no i need other i need you to say this speak speak my language if anyone also is unaware that one lady on tiktok who i have seen now think pieces about her not her her name is scout dixon west she's a raging white supremacist on um on perfume talk so don't don't follow her anymore but this i guess is like a like this niche indie perfume companies are very in because everyone's like i don't want to just smell like every other bitch i want to smell like something unique and so this one has like very polarizing scents or
Starting point is 00:44:09 like ones that people either love or they hate and they're very highly reviewed on tiktok because of that fact that it's like you've never heard of something like this like what is this it's an ass hold on and so they have one called be my cookie and the imagery is of the bottle a stack of chocolate chip cookies and like powdered sugar everywhere and then like the chocolate on the cookies it's like smeared on the cookies and it's also on the bottle this is why i wanted to do it because I knew your face. I'm so bewildered right now. Yeah, so it's limited edition,
Starting point is 00:44:42 so get your hands on it while you can. And it's olifactive notes, which I think are just what it smells like. Natural raspberry essence, crunchy cookie, castoreum, bourbon vanilla absolute milk, totanitone, and then we're going to read the inspiration. The cookie you'll never forget.
Starting point is 00:45:01 For lovers who crave a little bit of sweet and a whole lot of dirty, with the devil emoji. At the heart of every great love story lies temptation the kind that keeps you coming back for more one bite never enough the more you have the more you crave it's sweet but filthy delicious but dangerous for lovers who know the best relationships are a little sweet and a whole lot dirty but hold on can i say what i would name this you don't even know what it is yet i fuck santa's elf that's what that i feel like that
Starting point is 00:45:33 encompasses everything you just said what about i fucked blitzen or rudolph but i don't like blitzen i would think i'd get notes of hay and carrot yeah equal i carry so since we've got just the cookies and whatever the fuck else you said i fucked santa's elf okay that's that's a fair point so they have edited their caption do you want to guess what the last note it used to have was that shit come so you're not wrong bodily fluid urine saliva no i want you to get a little more technical for a term that was the first one you said scat that was it it's a longer version of the word scat i guess scat is abbreviated like scatalooby like scatalone like scatalo scatalo scatoli scatoli okay then we're back with fucking blitzing then
Starting point is 00:46:39 yeah i was gonna say i wonder how you feel about because the head is very fibrous so um it is an organic compound it occurs naturally in the feces of mammals and birds and is the primary contributor to fecal odor and now the teasing of the imagery of just smears of chocolate saying we're dropping a new perfume no no you dropped we're dropping a dupe that's poop that's fucking poop that's crazy can i see the picture of the bottle yeah but they've removed and that was great i just realized this now because i'm like where's the final part they've removed that note in the description of this so now people are buying this not knowing they're about to get a poopoo perfume but like shit has so many different odors what type of
Starting point is 00:47:24 shit is it after eating a cookie i'm like is this like when you've had too much sugar and you go my my shit smells like i'm diabetic like i should go to a hospital like there's something wrong hey we've all been there where you go something's wrong something's wrong with my body right now but like so there are people who are like perfumists perfumer like people who do this but they're like they've been to perfume school and they're like the way that we talk about this and like on day one you smell this it's like watching a birth video in health class like everyone talks about like oh you're gonna have smell it one day and like it is like the most foul horrible smell ever that you've ever smelled and they're like well in very small concentrations
Starting point is 00:47:59 it can add a certain you know and i'm like yeah a certain poop like a certain baby a certain you know babies all smell a little bit like shit yeah it's just there's a there's an air of like someone farting here like what is that and the idea though but specifically they're like well it's like the last note i go the entire brand and like specific launch rollout of this product is scat play like that's crazy what do you mean and the craziest part is now realizing that they've removed that note from the instagram and these bitches are about to buy a poopoo perfume and not know pheromone more like farty stinky poopoo some people are into farts yeah so this is the image this is one of the images remove that from my screen please and then um one of the teasing ones
Starting point is 00:48:47 and they make it like so dirty and i go okay we get it you have a you're into scat play like that's what all of it is so they have one where they're just like crushing cookies and it's like really dirty so it's mixing scat play plus that weird ass shit that people do that food fetish i'm sorry i don't mean to i do i stand by i'm gonna king shame you literally get your spaghetti off your kitchen counter that shit's gonna stay it's acidic that's nasty this is so weird like are you ready to take a bite no and look are you ready to eat ass are you ready to eat my cookie and by my cookie i mean are you ready to eat me from behind here cookie i'm i think pussy pussy be my maybe you should have went more peach a peach sit right oh my god what is castoreum that's another
Starting point is 00:49:38 i'm like is that smell of like circumcisions um castration no melissa melissa come on it's a yellowish exudate from the caster sacks of mature beavers used in combination with urine to mark their territory so it's a pair is both beaver sexes have a pair of castor sacs and a pair of anal glands this is ball sack juice oh my god so listen so listen to this description be my sweet be my dirty raspberry teases you with sweetness but don't be fooled beneath that lies a seductive mix of crunchy cookie and raw oh creamy vanilla absolute the real temptation kicks in with the raw animalic alert of castoreum of beaver balls so come it's sweet enough to draw you in it's amazing how i was just throwing out words and they're all
Starting point is 00:50:33 in there so they're all in there and like yeah it it should be limited edition but like they're like crush drizzle drench sniff and i'm like get out of my ass no matter what no matter how much you want to don't eat it sniff it indulge the aroma and let the wildness unfold they're basically saying like hey play with your poop don't ingest it this reminds me of people that are like i can't eat ass or vagina straight out the shower it needs to marinate for a little bit this is for those people i am not a kebab i am not i'm not in a dry or a wet marinade i'm not being brined leave let me be clean that's disgusting this is for those people and here's the there here's the issue though perfume unfortunately is not personal because
Starting point is 00:51:24 we can smell you and i think selling this to people and people who like this you must like this from the confines of your own home and nobody is allowed inside of your home and you you have to you have to strip your body after if you do this how are you going to attract the people that you want you have to wear it so then you attract those people how are we going to know about the men who don't wash their asses anymore and now everybody's walking around smelling like unwashed ass but i feel like if you want to smell like unwashed ass then that's what you that is a choice and you are letting me know who you are up front the description of this is a man with an unwashed ass and his sweaty ball sack he just left 24 hour fitness and he just grabs his little
Starting point is 00:52:06 sister's aqualina pink sugar perfume and douses himself and then you go what is that i smell cheese curds ball sack this is some some dried poop and then what's that sweetness oh aqualina of pink sugar to cover the fact that you are in your fucking skitties like disgusting they i hope they have one called skid mark i mean this was basically called skid i bet you that was on the table this is far past a skid mark no no i think initially they said i'm shitting my pants don't eat it i didn't say i was gonna eat it there's a light one that's called skid mark it's just it it's trusted a fart shouldn't have done that it's almost made to barnes and noble not close enough like disgusting disgusting and like i
Starting point is 00:52:50 actually am here to yuck your yums at this moment but they have another perfume i think called like fugazi and i'm just like what are we doing here well i think that the people that are into this should wear this because it sets them apart from the rest of us in society you want to find your people this is how you do it this is your pheromone i need you guys to learn how to do morris code i don't want to have to smell it like send out a bat signal saying hey i'm looking for those of you also interested in dookie i don't don't bring me and my nostrils into this no this makes me wish i couldn't smell anymore i mean your nose is stopped up most of the time anyway you're not gonna get a full whip not before what when i had when i had covet i could
Starting point is 00:53:33 i could smell the i understand unwashed ass and i had no idea oh and my final little um thing is a hawk to uh this is how you know i'm marrying a straight man he goes you hear about hot hawk two is crypto and i said the only time i've ever heard of hawk two is through you so unless you've told me that i know nothing i have no idea what the fuck this is she started her own crypto thing and some guys like i lost like my children's college fund and i'm like she was literally across seas giving a finance talk and this was before her podcast had even dropped you can't like crypto is not real therefore a currency that you buy you can't buy real things with it because it is not real they will take your money you can buy online slot machines you
Starting point is 00:54:18 can buy i'm saying you can't you can't spend anything on it venmo allows you to put your crypto in there that's just giving money you're just money laundering you're just passing the money around that's all that is i know if you can't spend your actual money on goods and services i'm just letting you know that venmo allows you to upload your crypto anyways it's my turn now mine are way more serious yeah there was a lot of really serious ones but i thought poopoo i enjoyed that um i think part of the problem is a lot of times my things are inspired by what i see on tiktok and all my tiktok now is wicked so i wasn't getting a lot of views except for that insurance ceo my first nomination diane vara who is a partner at roscoe's
Starting point is 00:55:12 which if you're unfamiliar with it is a famous chain here on the west coast i think they've expanded i think there's some in texas now maybe but um it's no longer being controlled by the black founders because they sold it which good for them get them money but there was um in long beach california there was a huge blow-up doll of donald trump in front of it for a few days and i gotta say too roscoe's have been looking a lot and they used to have lines around the corner now nobody wants to go to them there's a lot of health code violations it doesn't telling that they did that at the long beach location they said let's go let's do this where we know we'll be accepted yeah yeah yeah so um creator who does a lot of cooking on the internet called epicurious
Starting point is 00:56:04 i'm sorry i always just because of the way that it looks i always want to say sexpedition but it's expedition oh because there's an there is sex in there but epicurious no melissa i just typed it in that says epicurious expeditions i am with you wholeheartedly my eyes go straight to expicurious sex positions actually that's how i read it is sex positions positions yeah but gorgeous yeah she's and so she um was the one that broke this news to the majority of people i'm not sure where she how she figured it out but she um i think that she knows someone because what she did was um after this news broke she was posting about it and then this diane vara was all in her comments on instagram confirming everything was true they are maga diane was very
Starting point is 00:57:00 very excited about donald trump's presidency and um so then epicurious expedition was like bet she reverse engineered the roscoe's chicken and waffle recipe to a t and posted i personally think that somebody slipped her the recipe because it's a little too exact and the ingredients are little much but i think somebody um slipped her that what the new owners were about and the recipe but it looks delicious she even put in she goes this is the waffle iron you need to get i saved it i said i did too screenshot the recipes because she made it so it's like a quick flash in the video so you gotta get it send those yeah thank you so um diane barra is my medium one she's such a loser because i can't she has locked down every one of her accounts she also sells real estate and
Starting point is 00:58:00 does some other she has a marketing company she's pretty much unlocked everything down so i can't pry more into her personal information but thank you epicurious expedition then my second nominee all the people involved in abercrombie's sex trafficking ring so mike jeffries the former ceo of abercrombie and fitch has been charged with sex trafficking and interstate prostitution this is a former ceo not current not the current iteration this is the yeah and naked boys on yeah bags terry richards that that era like the the woman who has been the current ceo i think she's been there since like 2015 or something like that yeah this has been like a really long time coming so anybody who's like holy shit i shopped at abercrombie no no if you if you only
Starting point is 00:58:53 recently started shopping at abercrombie it you might have thought it was just it was also mostly because of this part the reason why they didn't have other sizes and why i said we hate all we hate women who don't look like this was because of this man so don't worry about it but it was like holy shit this is we are we wear abercrombie pretty regularly new edition well i did think too but i did not in well and actually not while he was there yeah no he's been gone for this has been a really long but i mean i was wearing abercrombie in like 98 90 yeah that was yeah free that too oh this man's so scary looking the indictment alleges that he along with two other individuals use force fraud and coercion to traffic men and operate a prostitution enterprise
Starting point is 00:59:38 between 2008 and 2015 the indictment a 16 count indictment was unsealed in federal court in central islip charging jeffries matthew smith his partner and james jacobson with sex trafficking and engaging in interstate prostitution the indictment alleges that the trio used a combination of forced fraud and coercion to traffic men while operating a prostitution enterprise. This included pay for dozens of men to travel within the U.S. and internally to engage in commercial sex acts. Prosecutors alleged that the youngest victim was 19 at the time of the crimes and that the operation encompassed dozens and dozens of men. All three defendants were arrested in october 2023 and smith jeffries were arrested in florida and jacobson was arrested in minnesota
Starting point is 01:00:31 all three defendants have pled not guilty to the charges but the the evidence is thick and clear i also misspoke it was not terry richardson who did it it was bruce webb weber they're both photographers from that era who did that like americana look with like the reason why the Abercrombie models were shirtless outside that was like really they're like over sexualized men ones and Bruce Weber and Terry Richardson are both like they are both sexual assailants and horrible um but it was Bruce Weber who did the Abercrombie ones but yeah the whole thing is it's it's just been going on for so long that like I I'm so glad that like for a long time I thought that it was like they knew and so he he also he had to step down and like all that stuff
Starting point is 01:01:18 But I was like, I don't even know if any charges are going to get pressed or if it's just like the rumblings are enough that like his reputation has been tarnished. But like, I don't know if it's enough to actually press charges. And it's been going on for so fucking long that like I'm happy that that's finally coming to some justice for that. But like, holy shit. Yeah. So. Fuck him. Fuck him.
Starting point is 01:01:46 Fuck him. And fuck Diane and fuck his other cronies, his lover Matthew Smith and whoever James Jacobson is to him, partner in crime. You know who would love them, though? Trump? No, he loves he he loves Botox. He loves having young children, young women to have sex with him on Venmo. He loves the Republican Party. Matt Gaetz.
Starting point is 01:02:14 There you go. Yeah. and people and you what that man uses venmo nasty venmo released it released the receipts of the paying for the sex that's unhinged that's fucking crazy oh my god yeah uh they would be good friends though he's he's he's also a huge fan of that disgusting disgusting disgusting um the last thing i want to say is just because everyone's talking about this ad nauseum and not going to talk about it another time have you seen the um shoplifter who got reprimanded at target nope it's a woman um who you know that i guess
Starting point is 01:02:58 the police which i'm not a fan of in general i think that well never i'm a fan of the police but that's the sound of the police i do like that song though that that when police release mug shots or they release like any like funny meme accounts of being like yeah our bookings today like i'm like shut the fuck up like why do you think you're like fuck jerry or whatever like i i don't like this like it's just so icky but when they put like this man this person this miss man is a rapist which they never fucking knew like i understand the extent of that but when they like blast someone being like this person shoplifted from target i go i actually don't care if they shoplift from a corporation like whatever um but it they
Starting point is 01:03:36 were identified incredibly quickly that way because people said uh actually followed that content creator on tiktok and they hauled all that stuff from target that they're taking out that they shoplifted she is a like aesthetic lifestyle home creator she literally was doing like day in days in my life going to target hauling the things she shoplifted and she had different barcodes so she was scanning everything still but she had other barcodes that you brought up like there were things were cheaper so she was still doing all the scanning and like literally she's in like her all white aesthetic outfit she's like buying like an advent calendar she's not buying necessary things like another stanley cup and it's like nice like nice apartment like
Starting point is 01:04:16 everything's very aesthetic and like people are like oh god it's the price of being an influencer actually have you ever heard of buying things for a video and returning them like or if you're making enough money just buy the things that you need or go into target and say look what's at target you don't have to buy what yep that's true but also people used to haul shit and return it all the time i never did that because i have adhd good luck at me returning your shit anything can't return shit but like i'm sorry people are like god it's hard to be an influencer gotta keep up i go i know if you're gonna do it abuse the return i don't really care that you stole from target in general but like abusing the return policy and then you can never place another order
Starting point is 01:05:00 again versus this and this is also like not the first time she's done it she apparently stole her friend's car at some point yeah and like she was also doing all of this with her with her kids in the cart and i'm like no ma'am the children as accomplices no i've also really good decoys because i go there's no way this woman in a in a beige yoga pant and a little beige matching lulu lemon top buying a bunch of mugs and like other random aesthetic home things and her children there's no way she's shoplifting this stuff and then getting on tiktok and hauling it in the same outfit that is the exact profile well for me i go and this is what happens when women commit crimes versus men they're more creative they're a little bit don't show your crying
Starting point is 01:05:45 no she got incredibly comfortable and she's on the security camera and she didn't even change outfits to do the haul like you can't even say it was a different day um so i was truly addicted to that story because I do love when people do stupid shit boldly but yeah I think it was like over it was $500 worth of stuff
Starting point is 01:06:06 which I was like literally she showed herself with a Target bag so I'm like did you even pay for the bag? 10 cents a bag? or just take those ones too and they waited until it was like $500 so it was like a felony or whatever but
Starting point is 01:06:21 that's the other thing I'm like she was doing like over five hundred dollars or it was five dollars accumulated i think it was five hundred dollars accumulated because from what they fucking different stores i well and also what they showed i was like there's no way it's five hundred dollars just this one time and so i'm like it's been adding up to that and i know they're one of the stores that they wait until whatever the felony charge is in your state until they do that so they can bust you for much larger than that um and they keep track of it i'm sure from others like or whatever that is you can read your cell phone from a camera they're 100 keeping track but like if you're going to sell 500 stuff
Starting point is 01:07:01 from target do it in one go and then don't go back right don't steal like a hundred dollars at a time over five you steal 499 dollars worth and don't show your face again for you get a nose job yep dye your hair get a nose job like be better yeah I just think like it was creative
Starting point is 01:07:27 not creative enough in the new bar codes that's pretty great like because I don't know if she was peeling off bar codes a lot of them are printed onto the items so I think she brought she brought stickers and was I think so as something someone they worked in retail
Starting point is 01:07:44 I do I would not steal i never i've never stolen i'm being serious it scares me no most would factually most would never do that she'd have a bad tummy ache she'd have a real bad tummy and i i would do stress shit so yeah no that i'm not i i'm a i'm there's a lot of there i'm sometimes i'm either the biggest rule follower ever i have to know the rules some rules i will break other ones i'm can if i am i'm if i steal something i'm convinced i will go to jail but if they were um upping the prices or lowering the prices then it was just oh you would just stick her on top for like a sale on top yeah and that's probably what she did she was bringing stickers
Starting point is 01:08:23 and putting them on top yeah she had clearly done this before and this is also like not her first charge i think she had another shoplifting charge and all that kind of stuff and so you make it so it's just halt that way you can hit up just different stores in your areas it doesn't necessarily have to be a target you just also don't show your face don't wear a mask yeah and like everybody's doing this aesthetic shit or whatever like why don't you just order this on amazon and return it like it's not good for the environment it's not good for the economy it's bad for everything without a doubt you made it bad for your kids yeah you put and i specifically think of like your kids being on this security footage and like that's not like it's one thing
Starting point is 01:09:00 to have your mom have done something which is not attached to it's another thing for you to have been there when that happened like that's not that's not fair to those kids and no offense to her if you were stealing for that content i kind of would expect the content to be like a little bit better like i'm creating if i'm committing a crime i'm stealing a diamond i'm not stealing a cubic zirconium you're gonna come steal me i would all the time i could the way that i could did you have friends who are into like shoplifting for fun no the way that immediately i broke into a cold sweat and i said i gotta get out of here like uh no no no no no your parents your parents are your lawyers uh uh no like literally an insanity and i just want to feel
Starting point is 01:09:45 something i'm like you literally have unlimited money your parents give you money all the time and the way that they'd be like i got you a gift and i'm like do i ask if you still i'm like i don't want it but like if you if you give me anything with the tag the little the those inky ones no no no i literally wouldn't go to the mall with certain friends because i was like i can't i was such a fucking little i was like i can't trust you i don't even know who you are anymore and i'm like clammy sweating being like i'm gonna be hiding in the nordstrom cafe don't loop me into it i was like okay megan chill oh we hope you enjoyed i have so much fun with your life and um write in for an upcoming episode and uh nominate who you think should be
