oh my god you know what time it is it's time to get it oh yeah yeehaw like a like a 90s uh early 2000s children's show hey you know that could be our next venture moths and i were talking about i was asking him if like people who write children's books because schmidt max greenfield from new girl he like has been writing a bunch of like children's books and i was like is that lucrative and i was like it's so lucrative and i was like we should do it we should do it and i was like but we have to have a kid first he goes no we don't no but you can write it from aunt and uncle perspective yeah maybe aunt and uncles need represent book representation i was gonna say like that or like the aunt and uncle like taking the kid on a trip or something like stuff like that

like i don't want to let you get get around yeah just letting you know um i i uh charge five percent for that idea i'm sorry i did not sign anything before you said that so that's gonna be a loss on your end okay fine i'm writing my own thing for sure the good thing is though is that like i can like i can draw so i was like we're perfect i can illustrate this thing you know don't have pay an artist kids books are fun i love i love doing an audiobook for a kid's book i'm done in 15 minutes yeah no i know i saw this video of max greenfield like doing the he's like working on the audiobook for my children's book and i'm like so is that like you you can't even finish a glass of water before you're done like i'm like that's like done in 15 minutes get paid for the whole hour

it's great that's so nice it's gonna be my next venture but speaking of next ventures um i was with kindle yesterday and um she was like why aren't you and megan opening like a bakery coffee shop and i was like well i'm busy but but we did talk about a food truck and she's like y'all should do it you can be a writer and do it i said yes i can be a writer but first one there's a going on too i need to be hired for something but like it would need to be like i'm writing and then we do it and i can't be doing anything else you know like it's to the point where i'm like i'm staffed on a show and then we're doing it but it can't be like doing podcasts in addition to all of that no because here's the issue every side hustle i want to do is not a side hustle

it's a passion project that will make no money and i'm like that's gonna be impossible like you have to have so much money and it has to be like oh it's my fun thing yeah we need to have we need to have a venture that is like printing money like we need something before we get to our we're gonna start a food truck where we sell turkey legs right like it's gonna be i think that's great funnel cakes it's a fair fair on wheels yeah exactly fair on wheels ferris wheels i'm sure there's some pun in there that you know food trucks love a pun you know and you know me i love to name something i love the words i i that's my favorite part so i can get that down okay um let's get into these results from an episode from two weeks ago oh yeah so this i will i'm gonna

you're gonna be confused you will be all right so let's get started i was about to sing a song because one of my neighbors was blasting that wretched album melissa i can't tell you like the idea that they have multiple albums that are and there are songs on there that aren't like their six popular songs is baffling to me i recently learned through the educational source that is tiktok is that they before fergie joined they were like a lot cooler and wait literally just told me that too there was a singer that was there before fergie and the record label wanted her to be like more sexy and there and she was like no and left the group and then they got fergie and like i listened to a few of their songs and they're like really good

that's so wild it's so confusing to me it's it was they did the fergie effect but i'm gonna say i will never slander fergie because she gave us milk and that song well yes but i just mean like current fergie everyone likes to be like fergie had her time but like we don't need her anymore i go i'm sorry milf no no i do need her like that song is so fucking good the greatest song that she ever sang was the national anthem at that basketball game without a doubt she gave the performance of a lifetime and i'm just so happy for those boys they they were having a great time the time of their life and then the weight of the world on the game on their shoulders and then they got to have a nice little acoustic break and and then the uh you know the as the internet does

and the great beat makers on the internet somebody made a hip-hop version of it and it was incredible and then that team was seen dancing to it and Fergie got her feelings hurt but they were like no we enjoy this she didn't understand the moment that the culture was having no no she she didn't know what she had created it was a movement and we're Fergie we're we're uplifting this this is no one is laughing at you this is thank you thank you for being here today thank you for creating this moment let's play some basketball also the fact that amy sharon paladino didn't reach out to her to go would you like to sing a song on the marvelous miss mazel because that's exactly maybe that's who she was trying to reach and amy sharon paladino just missed it

oranges she's like oh well um there was that lady down the street like selling oranges and so i didn't know how much that cost and so i just like gave her money and then she like handed me all of these and i was going on a walk and i was like and you had to turn back home and she was yeah and then i'd walk back home drop them off and then keep going on my walk take six oranges and i was like okay like that is it's the oprah moment it's the oprah it is you know what show this is from um that one that i haven't watched that um everyone loves the development you who i love is on it yeah you and mods would absolutely love he loves it but okay but there's for the people that do know it there's always money in the banana stand i love that for you okay next up we have

a slut for eggs benedict i'm also a slut for eggs benedict i'm a slut for a lot of things and someone said eggs benny for life also my grandma's a wasp and she makes it every christmas over asparagus and someone said like i love the podcast listening to this episode want to let you know that hollandaise is a big thing around this time in germany you'd love it white asparagus is a huge thing and during asparagus season literally every restaurant serves some version of asparagus with hollandaise and potatoes you can get it pre-made at every supermarket it's amazing pre-made at supermarkets it's exactly what i'm asking for because then it's like if it's soaked in the asparagus too i'm not a big asparagus fan it's like hit or miss for me some days i'm like

oh no i'm never like oh asparagus i'm like i can eat this and then other days i'm like absolutely not but adding hollandaise if it's like cooked in it it sounds delicious and a lot of people wrote in about the the white asparagus with hollandaise so i guess that's a delicacy don't know never I guess if I saw it in the store I'd be like oh some chlorophyll is missing out of that yeah these are these are malnourished asparagus like okay that's so yeah I've never I've never seen it but I'm assuming that's what it what it looks like yeah I'm not a always an asparagus person either to me it's kind of like nature's floss if you overcook it it just becomes so stringy and it's like it's so disgusting I can't deal with that and soggy yeah no I need

oh no i scrolled up so i love that that you were creating an excuse for me that was not what happened but no i appreciate that um someone responded to this and said that in california you were right it is illegal to i knew i was right i wouldn't have said it No, no. Of course, because we have a reputation to uphold on this podcast. Yes. What I said was in some places. And so I knew specifically in California that it was, but I don't know where this person's located. So it may not be. But I think if it's illegal, it's got to be in- In multiple, but it's a state law. It's not a federal law.

she's got a stand-up special called lady killer uh on peacock and is a writer and she's fantastic but she does i think her it's not called it's like imagine it's indefensible it's she's a show called indefensible which is like if trevor noah and stephen cobert and anderson cooper uh did baited with z-way but with other politicians so like she like brings on like lawmakers and politicians and asks them questions that are like very fucking poignant about their fucked up politics and then we'll be like oh so like you think this like so you oh so then like this could happen and they're like uh and they get like really flustered she's incredible but she had one about um someone who's talking about uh if we did

a livable uh wage that there would be less uh abuse because financial abuse right is so directly tied with physical abuse and i was talking to moss about it and he was like wait so like it's illegal because she talks about it and i think it's illegal for like to kill your abuser like if it's not like in self-defense if it's not in the moment and i was like yeah like that's part of the fucking reason so with her richens at that point i'm like i'm very pro people killing their abusers whenever they have the opportunity and the chance but that's like we can't vote on that as like a a theory when that is so so not how she's been talking yeah and there's not no indication of that no yeah no one has said that she hasn't said it none of her friends have said

this tiny little like parking lot that uh is very very very fucking small it's right by like a big outdoor mall in la but a lot of people use this parking lot to kind of go anywhere because it's like very central and i lost my ticket and it's late at night i think we had gone out earlier and it was like we were like the the diner or something and it was probably like 2 a.m so there's no attendant there i can't find my ticket and i was like stressed like parked there waiting to try and like going through my back seat and all of this stuff and a group of like six australian blonde boys with shaggy hair come up and they're like what i'm not gonna do the accent but they're like what happened i was like oh i can't find the ticket and they were like oh fuck it and they

literally grab the partition like the little wood gate thing they lift it up and they're go go go and i just like sped out and i was like i love this like it's like you got a mentos moment i had just moved there and i was just like this city is alive i wonder if they uh no that's not where the no never mind i was gonna say if they were coming from the container store that's not where the container store is no but some people park there a little bit yep but if you don't know this rumor on the street is word on the street is if you're looking for a male sex worker container stores where you go that feels like a very very very intelligent place to be soliciting yes yes because it's brilliant wow hey some stores barnes and noble make you have to shit

for movies have you heard of this oh i have sadly and i tagged you in a video but you know we've been talking about going to see the little mermaid and some people went to go see the little mermaid in 4dx and everybody that saw it traumatized like beyond they're wearing raincoats no you already know i have a hard time breathing in underwater movies that's what i was gonna say you hate being underwater and you hate interactive theater it would be your nightmare no like it would be you'd have to institutionalize me like that would be i would have a break like i would legitimately i would break i need to find someone to go with me i don't know who everybody that's coming from it is traumatized because they're like you need a seat

belt and they did not provide seat belts it's like a roller coaster there because i guess the way the aerial slimming because she swims pretty fast so they're moving the the uh the seat in the way that she's moving bitch you better hope it's fucking calibrated because if it even gets off by a half second when leo and i went to harry potter world like forever ago that was we went on the uh the ride the one that's like you know the the whatever like you're i don't see everything you're right it's kind of like soaring over california california adventure one where you're like okay hang gliding or whatever so it's a similar thing so like you're strapped into the thing and you're moving along with like the video that's wraparound that's moving if it's if it's

not calibrated if it's off by like a split second you he and i literally were just yakking afterwards it's like we got yeah that's what people are walking out traumatized somebody just left it there was one video this girl just like got up and left and was like give me a ticket to the regular one the only way you're gonna go with someone is if they don't have tiktok like you're gonna have to like take your dad i know i think my dad would never just go to little mermaid i need to take i think i'll take my cousin i think if i don't tell her what it is then she'll go wow that's really fucked up that's really fucked up you can't do that to her that's so cool you should just one of the kids no because it's gonna be here because they might

like it but it's gonna be here because it'll be out of theaters no yeah it'll be out of theaters by any time i go back home well true i guess if also people are hating it you need to go quickly because i have to go quickly like this was a fail yes but it might be i feel like people might be buying more tickets because they've seen it on tiktok for the experience right this can be people doing it for the plot yeah so um yeah i it's got to be in the next couple weeks so i will be seeing this movie three times so i will be going to this underwater adventure and then seeing it with you regular as well bring a snorkel like bring a raincoat bring a snorkel a safety definitely on it on the list um oh samantha might go samantha might go yeah i'm glad you

have a time she's out of town filming a movie but when she gets back happy for you i i i'm super glad that i know boundaries and it's physically impossible to peer pressure me into anything no i just i know it's not even that i just know that you would get so sick like yeah no it wouldn't be fun for the other anyone else that would literally be like a like you would be tormented and that's that's that would be mean like that would be the meanest thing that i could well on on a list of mean things to do yeah that would be just like if if i just got to a point where i was like i hate megan and that's what i would do wreck her like the only way i can describe it to anyone like imagine taking edibles before a movie you should not take edibles for

and that movie is in 3d like you're immediately vomiting you're like gonna shit your pants and you are psychologically unwell like that is like i saw whale rider when i was in for like a birthday party when i was in elementary school and this is when i discovered that i was i could not do underwater movie cartoon underwater movies or like i can that's whatever that's fine it's not fine it's better i think this i think little mermaid is it will be fine because since they're like ocean creatures they're not like breathing and so you don't see bubbles so yeah it would be okay when i was sitting in the theater i was like megan megan will be fine because there's no bubbles yeah no it's the bub i don't i mean i know it's because i almost drowned

but it's also because like i am i i have no ego when it comes to the ocean i'm like there is so much shit out there and like this place is not for me like this is you know it's for ariel it's for well no it's not that's she doesn't want to be there that's the whole point of the movie is she does not want to be there she wants to be able to walk on land swim in the ocean which i'm like you get the best of both worlds I'm like if her dad can instantly change her legs we'll get into this later when we do

get to watch no point in doing this now but I have some things to say but yes we'll go it'll die down in like two weeks and then we can see it I'm gonna say three I pick

I pick is more of a like people go opening and then second weekend and then it dies off i pick people don't because it's like i pick people are picky people yes no for real yeah they're like we're gonna be in here as soon as possible and then we're done they do have a quick turnover i have to see that and then we have to see uh i don't know if you want to come with mods and i to see this uh but we want to do the new fast and furious movie uh i already saw it because i had to see it for the podcast it's a fast and furious movie that's mostly that's all i'm asking for that's exactly what i need yeah i'm having to see movies

now because we're doing like a quick turnaround on movies where black men can't jump yeah and i'm having to see them like the weekend it comes out so i have to go see into the spider verse today at two o'clock that's why i have her now oh my god is that the one with um jake johnson's in yeah what a guy what a guy what a guy um all right well that's all i really got for you you got anything else for me no no i don't i do want to make it clear everybody that i think whale rider i don't remember it well but i'm sure it's a wonderful movie i don't even know what this is you've said it like five times i have no clue what you're talking about i'm pretty sure it's like a very well-renowned like wonderful movie and i want everyone to know that like

it's nothing against the movie yeah i have to say that with like anytime there's something like underwater that i'm just like i don't want anyone to like think it's not yeah it's 91 on rotten tomatoes but it's a wonderful beautiful fantastic film um there's just underwater things which that's when i realized that i don't know how to watch a movie and breathe underwater normally make sure to vote make sure to vote for this week's episode of but am i wrong the votes should be up earlier than they were for this episode i've already sent it to you my bad yes i will be i will be doing that that will things have been a little less a little less chaotic so um vote on those and as always like we love to have people write in whether you are the
