welcome back to another rousing episode of that was so good that was good now like pentatonix want to call me that's actually like not to be like the biggest like asshole in the fucking world no hate to any of them but like specifically my medium place is being forced to join an acapella group or just like having to like listen to acapella music like regularly be around like acapella besides um pitch perfect i was gonna say i love pitch perfect but i can't think of any other instance where i just like acapella music boys to men sometimes i don't but i don't even i'm not gonna listen to the pitch perfect soundtrack i'll watch the movie

exactly all right then we've got writer number one versus casey who kept their friendship secret and is now putting distance between them the writer wants to drop casey as a friend three percent said the writer is wrong 97 said the writer's not wrong some of the people that said the writer's wrong did write in and say that they said the writer was wrong because they kept the friend for this long but that was not the question that was asked again you vote on what is proposed some people like to make it harder for themselves and i just have to say if i was voting i feel like i would be one of those people like i would just make it difficult for myself and others but that's not who we talk out we say these things when we're you know discussing but when we

have our final conclusion we base it on what the question that has been asked yeah this is homework you don't you want to answer your ap lit teacher would be upset with you yeah then we have writer number two versus coworkers who are taking her food. And the boss told her to put laxatives in the food. 11% said the writer's wrong. 89% said the writer is not wrong. Someone messaged and was like, legally, she can't do this. And that led me to a deep rabbit hole. And I'm pretty sure there's literally an entire subreddit dedicated to this. And it's basically like. If it was public food, then no, she couldn't do it. But it's her personal food. Even if it's your own personal food, if you have the intention of somebody else eating it, like that, like if you put laxatives

in it. Like it's, you know, for some people, if it's a laxative drink, that's clearly like, that's what it is. And you're making the tea solely for that purpose, but because you're adding it to like food, which has an additional purpose, it, it can be a more of a gray area. So people had suggested that, um, if you like spicy food to do like really, really, really spicy food, like something that's, uh, you're covered a little bit more in like plausible deniability that it's something that you're eating like you know i mean yes so on kim's convenience they um there was a co-worker that kept eating their food and so they found out a food that that co-worker didn't like and then would always label the food as like as what that

food was so then the co-worker stopped eating food yeah if i if motz was stealing my food and I wanted to deter him, I would do a blanket of beets on top. And so he would be like, ugh, beets. And I would be like, haha. And then I could eat the beets or I could just dig under to find what I wanted to eat. You should have used Ariana licking the donut.

That would have been... I can't believe that happened. I still can't either. Like, why? And, like, we've moved on. We've just moved on. I'm not okay. Imagine, though, like, how bad do you think she would feel? Like... If that happened, like any couple of years closer to the pandemic.

Instead, the aunt had their will changed and the money signed over to her. dan thinks it's wrong to donate the money to a southern white church writer thinks it's wrong to scam the elderly out of their last wishes and 63 said the writer is wrong and 37 said that dan is wrong to issue a bit of a correction they said so this is actually my brother-in-law frank's aunt slash grandparents so i've only met them once in passing i asked for more info because your questions were so valid about them and the servants they apparently had multiple live-in waitstaffers and never cooked a meal of their own in the last 20 years they'd get driven everywhere by someone they hired they had a very extravagant life and shared little money with their children

this made the aunt who did this bitter i'm a tad bit confused about some details but this is a touchy subject a touchy situation for frank and we aren't close the live-in staff quote-unquote allegedly were paid well these old people had millions i believe they worked in business unsure what kind and said p.s honored you used kiki for my but am i wrong and then i still stand with the aunt we so then they continued on and said i a thousand percent agree with you both oh my god i didn't even realize frank saying so these messages were sent before the last ones gotcha i a thousand percent agree with you both oh my god i didn't even realize frank saying servants could imply they weren't paid in the south and how it's close

here and that's like the conversation that happens and i think that's literally what happened okay people are attaching on to it they're because it's yeah i know that um on convincing the director to let her do it i think i think she would go up and just kiss him blah blah blah and then he was like yeah i think that's a good idea okay well if it was talked about then okay then that's fine that happens all the time but like if she just if it just was not in the script and there was no direction to do it then no also that's a really fucking quick way to like a ruin a take but also like get slapped like not that like i think that he should slap her but like if you do something like you come into my personal space and like we're i my reflexes

are gonna go off and like i i'm glad that that was like a conversation because like there's nothing i can hate more than directors who are like no i want you to be like i mean i've had times where it's fine where like we had one like fight scene and something and it was all cgi blood and then for the last one the director was like we're gonna do like a practical blood effect and he was hiding and i turned at this point he like like sprayed it all over my face and it was like i just wanted to like get the shock thing and like you know in the scheme of things that's not bad like it didn't ruin the day it was fine i didn't feel violated or whatever but like anytime where i'm like directors feel like they have to manipulate actors to be in a situation that feels like

I mean I know you've been sick but have you did you um I've watched a ton of tv I was just about ask so much tv um but i did uh start watching marvel cinematic universe and i guess tv universe everything that fits within that in order captain marvel is better when you see it in the context of what it's supposed to be i wholeheartedly agree yeah like when i saw it before like for the first time I was like why why does this exist but when you watch it in the context of everything makes perfect sense so much better they waited too fucking long to do that movie well and it makes the fucking payoff of like her being able to essentially be indestructible and then necessary in the end it makes it like a good fucking payoff versus just like oh you literally just introduced

a character who like can do whatever and then like oh cool then they did the thing awesome now like the stakes are so fucking low yes i still have the same fucking complaint that i had in theaters regardless of where they place it you cannot give us the most sexual tension that has ever been in a marvel movie with zero payoff like yeah i'm not gay but that felt homophobic she said that they're gonna that they will explore it in the new one but i'm like she's dead like you can't have half the ship dead and then talk about it no like i unless you're gonna have a flashback then no the level of sexual tension i'm like i'm gonna need a full like nude sex scene i need them to have their own spinoff like you can do now that you know they

have the tv shows just give them i want to see the spinoff of them before the little girl was born like let's let's have all that because the girl says she says auntie carol has always been family yeah and they were roommates but you can't just say it because it was the 90s and they couldn't talk about it but like like you're in love and the idea that like i remember being in the theater and then it movie ends and i go you're fucking kidding me right you can't i thought when she went off that they were gonna kiss i was like this makes no sense i was flabbergasted and then i went i'm sorry so and then no and then i was like oh okay so they're just like really doing a long lead up and then everyone's like well no it's just like you know it's not confirmed i go no

you can't make a movie that is just all about like it's just it's dripping with with this sexual tension and then having a bit they're just friends and i'm like no no fucking way they need their own show and i want because i i think it'll be interesting just to see them as with captain marville um seeing them um in the air force i think that would be a fucking interesting show it would be so good and you just can't dangle this in front of our faces and then just be like oh no you were reading too much into it like we're not going to touch on it i'm like you wrote the the actors believe that they were in a relationship and they and they were portraying it that way the longing looks that they had come on you could like see them undressing

each other in their eyes like i'm like i'm seeing you naked in her eye i'm i'm seeing this fucking happen so like no like yeah no no no no no if we had to watch fucking uh captain america go back in time and slow dance with his wife I need a full like like entire fucking relationship span of them and then him come back to in present day and be into her niece yeah if we had to deal with that mess right give us this like why would it's just it makes no it literally felt like they cut it out of the movie like I was like did I blink and I miss it like there's no way that you laid all of this groundwork the last time i felt this disappointed was when they didn't get when troy and gabriella didn't kiss in the first high school musical movie and you're like on the edge

of your fucking seat all the time except in high school musical 2 they gave us a fucking kiss so captain marvel i need a fucking kiss oh but i am enjoying seeing everything in order i feel like i'll like uh what's her name fucking natasha i think i'll like her solo movie black widow i think i'll like it because alone i haven't seen it yet it's it's like why does this exist but i feel like when i go watch it in order it will make sense because that movie should have came before a lot of the stuff we saw you know what gets its justice is um ant-man which i've said underrated constantly like i have to i'm not there yet i'm but it is one of the ones that is like legitimately the most crucial in all of it and so it makes it again it has a way better payoff when you watch it

in sequence you just have to pretend evangeline lily isn't a raging anti-vaxxer also watching um i watched a few i don't watch all of it but i do watch a few episodes of agent carter and watching it where it fits in makes more sense we started it we didn't finish but now that i've been elementary is on christmas hiatus that's how i have it gray's anatomy do you watch uh sex lives of college girls no i auditioned for it and i was bitter but um i could be open because i think uh because the what's her name renee renee rap yeah like she's i really enjoy her acting and then she's gonna be in they're doing the mean girls yeah mean girls and she's gonna be uh regina regina and i think that's perfect well because i i think that she's one of those people that like she got everyone

got fucked over by the pandemic but like she only she was cast on broadway and she was one of the young i think she might have been the youngest one in the show at the time um and only got to do a couple shows and it was so clear that like somebody high up in productions really fucking liked her and they were like no this isn't it this is not ending here like we're yeah we're gonna do this and then there's just something so likable about her like i don't there's rarely somebody i see on tv that i'm just like she just has because her character is kind of mean but like there's just something about her and then i started following her on tiktok and i was like she's just cool yeah she's she's really cool she's also really young i think that's a part of it too

is that like you just are you know that sweet spot of like you're just being yourself and like you're not trying to be anything because you're not you don't know that you're supposed you should and you don't know that you're you're not jaded from any of that and so like she's she's very talented but yeah no i auditioned for some like random one but my friend gracie is on the new season so who's she playing i don't know um what's her last name does any she might be by grace at this point though that's gracie oh she plays her she plays uh renee's love interest because they look like and there's a whole thing about how she only like that her type is her and so that's what i need to get on because the amount of roles i have lost out on because it's like we're either

going to go in a direction where these two characters are supposed to look alike and then the role is yours or but we're gonna or we're gonna pivot and they're not gonna look like is it is that on netflix original no it's uh hbo okay well because gracie was in first kill and um i don't know what how this started but what did she start in oh chasing life she got cast in chasing life what year is that 2014 and she like was cast playing uh a lesbian and since then she's like i don't know like every almost like vast majority of roles she's now is that she's playing a lesbian and she was like i would always much prefer to like kiss a girl than a guy like she's like they smell better they're a lot weird it's so nice like i'm not like concerned
