feeling gorgeous i feel like when i look at you in your uh monitor for uh the video version which they don't have at this current point i see you know these are these are two people who are showing up the same to work these are two people who are both doing everything they can showing up with their best foot forward and i'm being entirely sarcastic because melissa looks gorgeous she's got an eye look she's got some lip on hair necklaces we've got multiple layers or is that just piping on the sweater the sweater because you're wearing layers piping piping she looks gorgeous i am doing my makeup while we're doing this she has concealer now it's it's blended look we're going one step at a time we are and it's gonna happen eventually that'll it'll it'll

be fine so what's new with you um let's see i've had a very busy exhausting week i last last week after we recorded later in the evening i went to a short film festival as in they showed shorts oh that was for them not for me i was like i know i know but i mean some somebody hearing it was short yeah as opposed to it being for short films film festivals are never short they're never short even this one even though even when they're shorts short films it was still long they did because it's called the short stack film festival and they served pancakes oh do you think the firefighters i that's exactly i sent um samantha and ty the pancakes and i was like i know we missed these last week but i still got some okay um but the picture was blurry and then i was just

like pancake wasted um but they were very fluffy and delicious they're from one of those diners not cantors whatever does cantors have pancakes they're more first of all cantors has a menu almost the size of cheesecake factory i'd be shocked if they didn't have a variant of a pancake their pickles are excellent oh my god delicious so i went there and i met someone that's a dp for one of the films there but he also works in similar genre of the things that I've been working on but I can't talk about oh no way yes and so he was like we're kind of he's done a few of them he's like we're kind of like doing our own thing can you send me some writing samples and I said well the things that I've written are owned by the company so I can't

share them with you but I'll get you a couple things so I spent Monday and Tuesday writing two writing samples oh my god and i was actually surprised at how quick i came up with the ideas i was telling i've been obviously i talk about what you're what you've been doing with mods like all the time and he was like she must have like just a rolodex of shit to pull from from like all of her years of like content you've consumed but also like what a creative writing exercise he was like they should do that in college courses i know um i do have a whole list of ideas guess what i can't find oh god my whole list of ideas for things i don't know where it is it's on it's in notes but i don't i can't find it if you need help coming up with keywords as someone who always

writes everything down wrong and has to find i'm pretty good at finding like workarounds yeah if you need those keywords i remember i was talking with it with um somebody that i had lunch with and I think I might have like probably typed on it so it should be dated to where that meeting was but I just haven't gone back to figure out where the meeting is but I came up with two things real fast and wrote them and got that done what else have I done this week kicking off with that new podcast that I'm doing that will be out should be next week I don't know we'll see doing another audio book i love that i have i'm doing three next week how starting at 6 a.m for one one of them goes two days one of them will go just one day well it's being broken up

because the author is pregnant so we're breaking stuff up so got a lot going on next week as well had a great little lunch yesterday uh who'd you have lunch with a friend and you know oh i did a little um book club thing where i talked about it was with the university of arkansas they have like a book club every month and they asked me to come talk because they were doing one of the audiobooks that i did oh cool so i did that yesterday and that was really fun i thought it was going to be a group thing where everyone would be talking, but no, they were just asking me questions. Oh, you did a diorama presentation. Um, but that went well. I had fun doing that. I was like, anytime you need me to come back, I will. Was it Zoom? Of course it was. Would you

think I got on a plane on my PJ? No, were they in, oh yeah, you've won the lottery yet. Were Were they in, like, a classroom setting? Yes. So you were on, like, the big board. Mm-hmm. That's fun. Yeah. I invited some people that had also said that they were interested in reading the book,

but they were busy, so. From our Patreon. They had their jobs. Loser. Yep. Moises and Nicole. Well, happy you guys have jobs. I think Moises was with their children.

Oh. and then nicole was at her job i wonder what they're doing for halloween well by the time this is out we'll probably see it yeah as we're recording this today it is halloween which is why i said that all hallows eve speaking of all hallows eve i have uh i'm almost finished because again we're recording us on halloween and the final two episodes drop today uh we were watching we've been watching agatha all along i just started last night i'm two episodes in one it's so scary two canonically it's the gayest thing i've seen the gayest thing disney has ever done yeah there is a line at one point where being like don't spoil it for me no but just

just like it's at first i was like oh my god disney we're getting like bold and then finally i was like oh disney you don't care like they literally share gay it was it's so it's it's it's so good and i got so like mott's he would have wanted to watch anyway because we both like loved wait you never saw WandaVision yes I did wait I watched it late yes I watched it late and I really like digested each episode yeah it took me a while to get through it but because I was obsessed with it I was like you have to watch it yes I was about to say that um Ty and Samantha also did not watch WandaVision started watching Agatha all along and they were like this is terrible acting and I was like did y'all watch WandaVision because I had not watched Agatha yet

yeah so i put it on and i was like y'all don't get that they're spoofing that detective things watch wandavision come back oh that yeah i because i was for a second i forgot that you would watch it and i was like you're gonna be so confused no no no um but i watched it we i've like i've really loved it it's so fucking scary and like i haven't i didn't have the first two episodes no melissa melissa it has gotten so frightening i have to wear i have to take off my glasses for a lot of it like they put money into it and like great job but you know they don't you know they don't they often don't put a lot of money into like horror because they don't have to so it turns out when you give a lot of money to something that is scary it just gets really scary

like it's like like there's like just it's just it's intense like the special effects like the practical effects like it's just a lot um but i had obviously wanted to watch it and moths was like oh yeah well we can watch that um but then i he was like looking over my shoulder one day when i was watching tiktoks and i was just deep in a patty lapone tiktok and he was like who is that and i was like patty lapone and he was like icon a legend we went through her entire history months it's like she's amazing i was like i mean i know to say that to the egots like she's fucking phenomenal and then when i told him that aubrey plaza who he loves was in this he's like oh my god and i was like yeah and then that's how he's like wait how does she know patty lapone because

like a lot of those interviews they've been doing together i was like oh they met filming agatha all along he went oh my god we got i have to see my girl patty and there are times we go pull up one of those and you saw that they were roommates at one point for like months afterwards and i was like that's so funny and like the because if you're only two episodes and you haven't seen don't spoil no no i'm just saying when they get on screen for their first scene i was just like Oh, yeah. I've seen their first scene. Oh, OK. Oh, no, no, no. Not with not her and Patti LuPone. No, it's just like, oh, they're just like, you know, in the same vicinity together. And I go, all it took was this for you guys to be like sister, best friend. Like, it's not like they

had like this big bonding moment on camera. It was just all of it is entirely off camera. Like they were drawn to each other in that way. It's not like they were stuck with each other for an extended period of time. And I was like, oh, that's so funny. So it's yeah, I'm enjoying it, though and like i don't it's nice and i'm sure you agree as two people who don't like horror movies like it's nice to be able to participate in like halloween content consumption that's not terrifying because like we usually for both halloween chris or not both because there's three halloween christmas and um thanksgiving we will watch like the tv episodes that are themed like the modern family halloween episodes like all of that stuff but like for halloween if you

don't like horror movies like you run out fucking fast and it's very good it's very good i thoroughly enjoyed the two episodes that i watched and i almost watched more but i was like i need to go to sleep but as i lie in bed till about 1 30 um still not asleep i said i guess i could have been watching this since i cannot fall asleep i was like i was exhausted i'm sure you know the feeling I was exhausted, got what, four hours of sleep, just woke up at five o'clock for no reason. That's brutal. Yeah. You had about the same amount of sleep, though.

Yeah. For some reason, going to sleep later for me mentally is easier than waking up really early and going to sleep. Because we're both more of night owls. Armie Hammer has a podcast. You know, I saw his face come across my Instagram. It was two different posts about him from probably, like, IndieWire and probably, like, Variety or something. And I said, I'm just going to keep scrolling. I didn't stop to see what it was about. But I was like, why am I seeing double him in my feed one after the other? Eating people? Well, it's not not. And not in a good way. No. he's saying it's going to refer to it's going to be like his personal diary which yuck no no that's called go to therapy men will make a podcast of their personal diary instead of going to therapy or also you could get a diary just write it down you could if you want to hear yourself talk you can also do that without publishing it there's a lot of things you

can do instead first of all it's called the army hammer time podcast which i just say mc hammer your estate collect your documents expeditiously i i fear you can shut this down quite quickly he said like i'm gonna let you into my world a little bit i don't want to be there who wants to be there no and then he's go back to your island so take a mind he does reflect on the cannibalism um quote-unquote scandal it's referred to saying i'm not gonna lie i kind of like all that cannibal stuff now i'm just like hey i'm a cannibal excuse me what makes more noise army hammer is a cannibal or army hammer might not be a cannibal okay sorry not a cannibal you don't get an apology tour in this world someone says thing about you and everyone believes it then they move

on with their lives and he said he's no longer upset with friends who abandoned him they understand why they distance themselves um and i need to find the despite the description of this because like that's the crazy part as you find that um also somebody else popped up this week that i was like go away james franco he was mad because he was like seth rogan we've had all these years of friendships and i guess the friendship has just gone away yeah like i don't know what else to say about that the end i don't think i ever told you this but this would have been during the pandemic i um was directing an audio book by somebody um and they did some work with james franco and had a whole big chunk of the book about him and i was like oh i didn't know this until after i had

signed on and it was early into my positively about him yes oh okay it was a mix of positive have been negative it's like he was an asshole but he's successful like that kind of thing like i enjoy blah blah blah but like he made his assistant delete every month to delete all his passwords and reset but like i respect that and i was just like i was looking to see this was shortly after because i was updating my website and i was putting a link in the book never got released so they pulled it so either they pulled it because of the james franco stuff or like james franco's team had it pulled either way damn yeah i have a weird james franco story too you know he was on general hospital for a while yeah so the description of the podcast the official

she turns around and goes yes and somebody dressed up as a witch and then the camera flips and they go which and it's like salem which oh no i haven't seen that but that's funny it's pretty funny well i saw somebody do an updated one and they went up to scarlet witch and goes excuse me are you a witch and then she turns around and then when you flip the camera around it's agatha going which oh that's good yeah people are so creative they are in a positive way yes i like not everybody's so creative but like yeah like i mean it like parentheses genuine like earnestly i mean like sometimes it's everybody's so creative and sometimes it's like wow everybody is so creative yeah i love tiktok and halloween like it's a great time me too i saw did you ever watch

spongebob yes do you remember around town go ahead do you remember chocolate i remember when they invented chocolate it is the i'm not fucking kidding this is the greatest halloween costume i've ever seen in my life and i don't and like and i'm considering celebrities who spend thousands of fucking dollars on these i sent this to lily and jesse because they do um they do halloween costumes like once a week for october leading up to halloween on the podcast and i'm like you guys have to do this jesse also just did um the long island medium and she got like really into it and was like doing the accent and everything and then at the end she was like oh before we leave i got somebody's dad's coming through oh a heart attack i can feel it right here i got the pain

in my heart and then the next episode jesse's like so so sorry girlies i got lots of messages people saying that their dad died of a heart attack i was trying to make a funny i'm really sorry but like if it makes you feel any better like it was the first thing that came into my head so like maybe it was your dad was dying this is the greatest one this is from whistle no no sorry that is the people who uh reposted this yeah they still a lot i actually blocked them because i was like i can see that you're just stealing people's content yep it's chills with the uh with the fam which is chills w the fam chocolate chocolate what what are they selling i saw this yes yes so fucking good i'm like god i love creativity i don't know why it took me a

you're not anxious therefore horny yes wait that's so funny i take it the first time i took it i was like okay maybe you know a fluke a fluke i've been on it a week now and every time i take it there's like right there wait that's great do you think they mixed up because they have a libido one because we were i know they have a libido one and i was looking at the ingredients for the libido one it's not the same ingredients you know and then i was looking up like vitamins that can help with libido they're not in those so i don't know what it is maybe your brain like your brain says hey we're on now everything's on everything's on everything's on turn it on turn it up that's so funny we literally I literally just got um I didn't get that I got uh fiber gummies because

I've just I've not been eating enough fiber and same I am either shitting all the time or never um and so I was like I need to get these fiber gummies also because I know that like the more fiber you have the better it is for preventing like colon cancer and all that though someone else said like if you do ibs that doesn't really you know what i was like no okay um but i get so anxious and like stressed about shitting like it's just like the story of my life like i am just like way too anxious and i used to be a literally my entire life growing up i would have to drink metamucil every single goddamn fucking no sorry miralax every single fucking day and i was like i can't do it again i can't do that again it's just triggering it's traumatizing

and so i found these like little fiber gummies and i was like oh and then i got fish oil because i'm supposed to start you get the ones from ollie no i got cvs bricks okay and on sale speaking of i've taken my b12 and then i got fish oil for helping with uh dry eye and again it helps with a lot of things yeah it helps a lot of things i just want i get so worried the same people who like uh boric acid suppositories like people who like swallow them fish oil for your eyes don't put it in your eyes like take it's a pill like take it take it who is putting fish oil in their eyes no no but like people when they have a pill and you're oh this helps with this people think like oh because like vitamin e pills people sometimes pop and then put them on their skin

or whatever i understand that but like but it's oil i know people got too crazy with that and fish oil is also oil and why would you put oil in your eye you can put oil on your body people put castor oil on their eyelashes and that's bad for your eyes i know you're not supposed to do either one you shouldn't have oils around your eyes nope only your natural oils only your natural oils and even that can still cause styes and like all that kind of stuff so um yeah and then we saw the libido ones and mons was like should we get these i was like no they're brand new they're $28 waiting till they're on sale get them from get it from ollie website everything's like ten dollars i know i will but we got and it comes in two days just like yeah so okay we got boosted um

and we got uh like five or ten dollars off twenty dollar purchase coupon like something like really good oh i've been getting the uh text messages from cvs yeah so because we got they handed that and then i dropped one somewhere in the store so i was only able to use one which i'm sure you could they would have been like here's another one i also don't think i could have stacked them because if it was both it was like something off twenty dollars and then once you did one off it was already but then like mods could have bought one and you could have bought one but it wouldn't have been twenty dollars though all the stuff oh we would bought more stuff yeah um but yeah the i thought the levita ones that's so funny because i was like what are

even in those that like maybe you should just get the brain ones and that's what i was gonna say maybe i'll try that that's so fucking funny wow um i've been on dancing with the stars tiktok uh-huh i've really just been on alona and alan okay so that's actually all i've been on too but i'm not going on danny and mandola oh and ezra i've seen some of his that's just me being on alone is like following her yeah and i've seen a couple things from joey because i liked um i didn't watch his season of the bachelor but i watched chicks in the office and they had him on and i i don't know i just like related to the girl that he picked she's like got bad adhd as well and she has like naturally curly hair which is that is diversity they don't even do

on bachelor they go no everybody must be white blonde straight hair maybe brunettes but like she has like naturally curly hair and like wore it and stuff um they act like the millionaire near a matchmaker remember that woman oh my god yes and she would if you had curly hair she would make you straighten it mm-hmm she was crazy she was crazy i wonder i want to where are they now like she's still doing it no but the results of those marriages oh okay like anybody ever actually gets married i said i'm wondering and like are you happy like did you have to sign like a shitty fucking prenup? much of an edit like everybody's like like it was so clear he was picking this girl um and because he wanted to make sure when like she went back and watched the show that she always also always knew it was her and i was like that's like very sweet and like not what most of those guys who do these kinds of shows think um but it got me thinking and then uh about you know how obviously sad i am that anna delvey is no longer on the show and um then i was watching chicks in the office this morning and they someone asked them a question of like who would you if you could cast your ideal season dancing with the stars like who would you put on it and i wrote some that i would be curious about your thoughts angel reese just because i want to see her outfits

when you give someone who has a good sense of style the fucking abc dancing with the stars costume department like you get gorgeous fucking looks um chet hanks has he not already been on i don't know maybe he feels like if he hasn't been on he's at least tried to get yeah they've it's not that they've asked him he's he's asked them no he hasn't been on the freaking ai on google is like he has not appeared on dancing with the stars but he has appeared on other television shows and movies empire shameless in your honor curb your enthusiasm and atlanta the surreal life wow caitlin ohashi or any ucla gymnast she was she she i forget what year but like you would recognize her she was she was like simone's only competition for a while and then she

got pretty badly um injured and was the same era of coming up with all that gymnastic stuff and so she pursued college instead um and i then also said pretty much anyone who does gymnastics for ucla i think i would enjoy ava coleman specifically as the character ava coleman on dancing with the pretty much that person a little quieter but like as soon as she gets in front of the camera she's pretty much the same yeah i saw when she did when she was at the move of it and she couldn't wear heels and she was like i was like there you go jabria from uh-huh jabria jabria uh from jabria miles from recess therapy the little child who just did the ones with rihanna oh yeah yeah where she was like i'm a fan of you and then she like does the callback at the end are you waiting until

they're adults uh well here's the thing i have two other i have ones where of like children dancing with the star i go oh my god so fun and then they can win like college tuition not money like a full ride to college um and then i also have another category of people alan cummings elizabeth holmes jennifer lawrence nisi nash elizabeth holmes what is she locked up yeah well melissa we're gonna get to my other categories in a minute if i think if you get her you also need to get jen shaw jen shaw yes i'm aware we're gonna get we're getting there we're getting there jennifer lawrence niecy nash one of the waynes or all the waynes brothers and sisters the entire family uh they have a niece too oh yep yep she's like yeah like include um junior and i want his

all of it i want the whole family tree i i like that i started watching um papa's house yeah i added it to the list to watch this is a show for my dad melissa melissa i can't believe i forgot to tell you this i asked my mom i said do you want to watch that new for the show he goes oh my god i feel like the only people who are going to be watching that are you and melissa's dad i said how did you know melissa's dad and i have the same taste in prime time television i was like he was like i can't like this show was made for you and he's probably the only other one watching it i was like and and it's a hit show like it was funny i watched the first episode but i was like this is very because it has a laugh track and i was like this is very much for my dad um also

senior acts very much like my dad so it was just like i don't know i mean i've i canceled my paramount because i've been mad at young and the restless anyway so um i can only watch one episode for free so there's that well i'll let you know how it is once i start getting deep into it um and then finally martha stewart and snoop dogg but the gag is i want them to be paired together and so my categories is there could also be dancing with the stars teen like under under 13 edition where it's like you or like a little bit older like it could have been like in the prime i would have loved to see um lily modern family on like giving like that and then again kids will would win college tuition scholarships like not money that their parents can

take but i love that um and then finally what i think is actually a fucking hit my nipples are rock hard right now i think they're like half mass no it's because of the oh my god she's so horny guys that's so funny stop taking them together unless you're like you're blue balling yourself i will forget then because like the brain one's just for overall brain health and then i need the focus one like maybe you time them like one you do like a slow release capsule like i can't take my b12 and my vitamin c at the same time or at the i don't know i forget then then i will end up not taking them at all oh you're you preach into the choir i understand i'm going to take your meds it's brutal it is fucking brutal um so my final category that i think is honestly like

a runaway fucking hit oh i also think ryan murphy should be forced to go on this and so i thought maybe the whole cast of like the like of glee um or like his universe or yeah just yeah universe um but also some the producer from chicks in the office said that he thinks that people who are judges on other shows should have to do it so he said simon cowell which i said that's a great one but mine is i want convicts both accused and have served their time are martha and snoop on that season and they're with elizabeth holmes they're with caroline calloway they would be with uh that's where anna delvey would have shined jen shaw can also be there um well you're gonna have to wait a while for elizabeth holmes and jen shaw but here's the thing you're allowed

to have enrichment activities i don't think that anna delvey should have gotten like an excuse like uh like ice kind of a thing mostly because i'm like the whole thing is fucked up in general i don't think she should serve her time but i think like ice is just picking and choosing and they're like oh white eastern european woman this is fine but i do think that like first of all we know that people in uh who are incarcerated and who are in prison do a lot better when they have creative outlets and activities and everybody could have a dance class and then it could also be a it could be a competition show and then goes who then goes on the dancing with the stars but it would be shot remotely okay i don't think that snoop and and um i think it should be they could

be judges they can there can be like like snoop can be the host yeah and martha can be a judge and then there's yeah there's separate ones and then they can have their own where it's like people that have been rehabilitated exactly i i love that it's the power of dance everybody like it would be so good and i just think misi nash also would be like i don't know why she hasn't she's i mean she probably doesn't want to do it she works she's too busy for it i think she would because people be like oh my god that person would never do that i think she would actually enjoy doing it but i and so like i have hope that at some point like in my life i will see her dancing with the stars when she decides she wants to do it maybe much later but that woman is booked

invited us to go to a chief's game and she goes and i get there and oh my god he is like i don't know if i can take pictures like i'm just like really like focusing on the game and she's like it was like okay a lot like fucking and she goes and then he like he then he runs out in the field was travis there yeah oh in the interview it's literally her with jason and travis i thought the way that you were saying like he i thought she wasn't like saying it directly to him no she's saying it directly okay and then she says and then travis runs out here with this fucking ugly mustache and jason's like scream laughing and i was like thank you thank you and she was like oh and she goes i'm sorry i'm sorry but that mustache is so fucking ugly i was like that was

it was so funny and you can tell that like they both just love her and like were so enamored by her and i was just like dc dash i kiss the ground you walk on for making sure you let this man know that he looked ridiculous yeah and i'm not anti-mustache i want i want no i like i like a mustache when it isn't scary and when it's on the right person and we've talked about proportions when it comes to hair and we talked about this with matt james who was like a beautiful gorgeous man on the outside exactly you have three potential spots to grow hair or two so you might not have on the head you might have the mustache you might have a something on the chin related and when we're getting if you have a very small head and we decide to do a very small piece

of facial hair or a very large piece of facial hair it's a lot if you have a very small head and we've got a large amount of facial hair and then a small amount of hair it's just the proportions and the ratios get they're off and finally if you were doing any of those with a middle part and a toupee we need to reevaluate like you look like a british detective like and like not in a good way you also look german in a bad way and like it was just so fucking bad and everyone was like no trash kelsey looks amazing i was like i would take that to the grave if i felt that i would like re-evaluate like what am i attracted to because he's not an ugly man but in the words of nissan ash that was an

every halloween i would do a full-on fucking production for a little for those clips and i do it every year but it's on my fucking phone and i don't have that budget and i go come on and i was talking to somebody that i actually quite like and um we were talking about the j-lo movie and i mentioned like if i had the money or like if you had the money wouldn't you do it too and she was like no and i said that's a lie like what do you mean what would you do with that money then like that's crazy here because like to me that's saying like if i had all the money and i was so rich and all that i like would not have like are you gonna get rid of instagram are you not gonna take photos anymore because like it's one of those things i'm like this is just a glorified
