that's what i was doing y'all were saying get out the car but i was getting my things that's what was happening and we were all just like hello but we couldn't it's dark so you're reaching for things we can't see yes and we both had like things in like chrisette bags and i grabbed yours instead of mine well i was also confused when matz was like because i was like bringing my extra like I brought my camera and like and Mott's was gonna stay over in that area while we were at the concert because he drove us and picked us up so I knew that he wouldn't be going home so I was like well I need a bag of extra stuff to just have and um and he packed it in the Le Creuset bag and I was like no no that's Melissa's bag that's what the steamer goes in and

he was like Melissa yeah your Le Creuset bag and I was like no Melissa has she gave the steamer in Le Creuset bag he goes yeah that's in the car this is our Le Creuset bag and I don't know and i was confused and i really should have thought in the moment if i'm confused now this is going to get confusing later as well why are we have two late crusade bags yeah and randomly too no i know like two people who have never once owned a late crusade bag now we both have late crusade bags and we said hey what if we just put them both in the same car right so um it had just been a long weekend to begin with i showed monster tiktok of you winning like the gold medal and he was like oh my god i was like i know she's fucking insane but that's the other part that like

i wouldn't expect you to run a race before beyonce if you didn't think you had any chance at at doing well yeah yeah yeah so i want it was my first one i wanted to get it over with like as far as like i need to do it there is one this weekend there's no way i'm going to do it. Cause I have, uh, um, I also have a meeting. So there's, I, I just can't do it. And I'm still tired, like physically, mentally. I also started a new job on Monday. So there's just a lot going on. Yeah. And, uh, I just, I had a headache from Sunday to yesterday. Like even last night, I still had it. And then today I woke up and I'm like, finally it's gone. So, um, there's just a i feel you this is the first day that i haven't had to take like round the clock

tylenol for my pounding headache and you ran a race my heart thinks i ran a marathon so very similar very similar vibes but good god um what a fucking weekend what a weekend we had so much fun i think i had the best day of my life like i'm so excited that i got to experience your first Beyonce concert with you the amount of times I accidentally turned there's like a couple times where I like filmed us like like while we're singing a song like in our reaction whatever then there are all these times where I think I'm filming Beyonce and it's literally me here just like like and I was like oh my god Megan stop stop that was like that was the craziest thing I've ever seen I can't believe she does that all the time yeah and this is my fifth or sixth

fiance concert and they just keep getting better they just keep getting better it was a history lesson what time should you get there well we got there a lot later than i would have liked yeah i was late yeah i was and but she went on later than she's been going on so she's been at 8 15 and we we were still there well before 8 15 i think we got there like 7 7 15 yeah um and i love that our seats we walked straight in on accident um our seats were just right there we also walked straight out and went to get in the car like it's the fastest i've ever left we did stop for a street dog yeah and i had to eat i was so hungry well also i val and avian i when we got there we saw the street dogs we were all like oh those

looks so there is just there is there's truly nothing better than like leaving a concert and ending it with like the best street dog you've literally ever had those are for the record those are hot dogs that are sold on the street street dogs in case i don't know what they call them other places they call them street dogs okay because street food wherever you go street food somewhere um so we are walking in we there was somebody that asked us to take her picture this she had already been yep and she technically asked melissa to take the picture yeah and you kind of low-key pissed me off because you're like i take better but i'm like i also take great pictures you take great photos but i was just thinking about height difference wise she was

my height okay i i love you to death you take great photos there are some photos you have taken of me when we can't be we can't you can't get on my height level where you know i'm looking a little okay disproportional um but she she was like i had to come back i i needed to be back here and she was she looked great she looked fantastic especially for like like your second concert so this isn't even probably what you wore your first time and like this is such a good outfit yeah um and so and she and she went she was going by herself for this one i looked and saw like because i was like thinking that i might go again but i'm like my body can't recover and i have to leave on sunday to go to arkansas that was the exact same thought process that i had

that's like i want to go money wise like they're the tickets are not bad now no but like physically it's gonna be a tough sell on my body yeah i did see where you can buy individual suite tickets directly from the stadium and they were $150 and it's very

tempting oh that's actually deeply tempting because that means I can sit the whole time you can sit the whole time but I just

I don't I can't I don't think that I can timing wise with having the brunch on Saturday and then I leave on Sunday I just don't

you don't want to go tonight? we have to record tomorrow yeah my body's dead and I'm also prepping for the show that I'm writing on so like there's there's just too much I I'm just recovering right now last night I ordered some Indian food because I was like I feel like this is what's gonna be very comforting you know and it hit the spot like no other and then I woke up with no headache so I don't know if that was it but solved it so that woman had already

and she was like you're gonna have a good ass time we went and bought merch unfortunately they were out of the uh jerseys that y'all wanted i got exactly what i wanted so i was good i really loved how like you are also the through line of the group that we went with and i loved how like the one of my favorite things as like someone who's been like a through line for like i love introducing my friends to my other friends like if i don't think i can introduce my friends my other friends like then i'm not friends with them on the same in the same kind of way right um but it like and i like love watching like you and kyle get a lot like i love watching like i love that kind of shit and i love the fact that like all of my friends now have each other's phone numbers and

all of that and i was like this is so funny because we all we got to the merch booth and out of like the two dozen different options we all liked the same two things and like we all liked all of them but we were all like okay between these two shirts okay these two shirts and we're all just like holding up and like checking sizes to each other and like all of that and i was like we're and now we're half of us are matching yep yep yep yep so i love that we'll have those shirts on for an episode next week so then we got to our seats which again so easy to get to we were in the second row of our section which was great we had an amazing view of everything we could see the whole stage we could see her so it was it was nice i liked it

what was her section number again do you remember 300 i think 324 maybe something like that okay so because i was going to recommend to people if you have not gotten tickets yet i think a lot of like if you've seen stuff online about like floor seats versus whatever in general like as is with most shows the closer you are to being the front of your section will without a doubt be like the best view but I do think that where we were was like exponentially better than some of the seats like like I would never go lower down if you're gonna be in like that side I think because this the screen is such a huge part of it that I think that like the the section where we were was a wonderful wonderful view and I think the only other time only other place that I would say to

go would be like right at the very end like right at like we're looking totally straight on to the stage but even that she performs farther back you will just have a straight on view for the for the screens which i think will be a cool different way to kind of see it but um she made it i we i would have had we'd heard horror stories about like some of these seats or whatever but the show itself is like deeply catered to like her perform like she's not just like standing and waving and like you know what i mean like she's she does things where she comes to the crowd yeah and but in a way that doesn't sacrifice her performance yes and like the whole thing is just like a fucking performance so being i would say that like being close quote unquote

close to her is not more important than having like a best the better view of like the entire experience yes because you have to see the screens because oh my god yeah she's doing so many many movies short franchise yeah throughout the whole thing and so if you can't and you need to see both of the screens because it i mean they're connected but it yeah but it is split screen you need to see both of it both sides because you'll miss a lot if you don't um and every time one of those short films came up i was like she just looks so good and then i was like no she like looked even better i just i was like why does she look so good some of them i thought were so long and i was like oh my god and then there was parts with blue ivy where i said that's so long and then i said no

that's beyond time they go no that's blue like it was just so like yeah like it just like insane to i saw someone being like take that blonde out of blue's hair because i cannot tell the fucking difference no you gotta have the the blonde ignited her sasha fears has found a new host yep and has because blue is dancing for most of the show there's some things that it was clear like beyonce was like uh you cannot dance to this song i told you so she dips off i was like anytime you know that like oh the horny song is coming on you know it's coming because suddenly blue is whisked away she's gone and you go where did blue go and you go oh you're about to hop on a mechanical ball yes i know it's about to happen but like i was just like and having her dance to

deja and i was like we're having deja it was just it was just insane like i've i can't like stress enough that like there's the the difference between a like a live show and like you've like I mean everybody speaks so highly about Beyonce concerts but you're like no no it's a different experience like when you see something when you see one of her albums in concert because of like how she does with like the storytelling and the screens and everything like that and this like I literally felt like I was watching I was at like Cannes like I'm watching or like I'm watching uh like the la philharmonic like score a movie in person like it was just yes so phenomenal we've got singing we've got dancing we've got filmmaking like all the arts all of them and also

like there's just like a question mark and she's like can i interview you guys and i was like oh my god we're that we literally just sat down we're that fun already love it and she was like i just need two but can i do all four because we were like we're all together she's like i can do all four of you um and then i saw her necklace that she was wearing and i knew i had clocked it it was an ivy necklace which is the symbol for my sorority but there's a very specific way that it's done where the aka fits into it but she didn't have the letters in it but i was like that's the right shape i'm pretty sure uh-huh and so i when she was done interviewing us i asked her i was like so so what does that necklace mean right there is she's like oh this is uh i'm in

a sorority uh-huh uh-huh and so we had a moment and she was also there with um her line sister too so it was good yeah it was yeah i i and i also loved that like that because so my seats for taylor swift were somewhat similar but i was on the other side and i think we were in the 200s um but we had one row in front of us and then we were right there um and i've been blessed both times because the taylor swift those the people who were standing in front of me they were like reputation era fans they were not like folklore evermore which was like the ones i like what i really love and so they were like the standing and sitting thing was like fine like it was like really like it fit and then seeing couple carter after these two they had

already like she'd already seen it and she was sitting right in front of me so it was perfect because she was like sitting down more because she's she's already seen it and she has an unobstructed view which then meant me and my heart race and self got to sit a hell of a lot more and like not miss anything which is what i was i'm always worried about with concerts because like i i do have to sit unfortunately if it means i will miss something i'm not going to sit until my body says we're taking you out and so i was like yeah this but it was like it was it felt like such perfect uh luck that that was who we were seated right behind so we wasn't just you had to stand up the entire or i didn't have to stand up the entire the entire time but she also gave us little

breaks because with the movies you can sit down like you're good um somebody asked us or they said stunning almost exactly who looks like pictured for you both i'm going to the show in chicago and this is also my first time seeing beyonce how early did you arrive we got there again at seven ish yeah i would say get there earlier no no one with our group was like getting around so like if you were trying to like go and do like the like sir davis like tasting experiences yeah any of that kind of stuff if you're looking for like the because a lot of like alcohol forward ones if you're like looking for that or you're like looking to go get a drink because like those lines are like insanely fucking long then i would definitely

get there earlier or get food yeah that was one that we were like we should have done that um and then yeah and then somebody and then they asked is a pee break even realistic i mean go before and after since this is your first time like avia went during so the concert if you don't want to be spoiled and don't listen to this part but the concert is pretty much broken up into cowboy carter then we've got like which like cowboy carter history lesson and then um there's a section where she's doing like her hits and then there's a section where you go back to renaissance she literally announced like we it changed the video changes robotic and i and i said to megan i was like this is renaissance when it changed and then it goes through and then she

comes back out and says welcome to renaissance yep and um and she does some renaissance songs and then uh like some closing cowboy carter stuff this is your first time so like avia went during the renaissance because she's seen renaissance i don't yeah i don't i don't think that you're gonna miss things if you go to the bathroom yeah i'll be totally perfectly honest and frank with you uh there is there's no room for a bathroom break if you've never seen beyonce if i had seen renaissance i would have gone with avia at that point but i was like no no i have to see this and i i mean i think like depending on where your seats are if you're like really trying to get out quickly or whatever i in general tend to be someone who like leaves during the final song

and like watches it on the screens like as you exit I don't you I think you're better off doing that and like watching her finale as as you're walking out seeing the screens then you are leaving in the middle of the show to go pee because like that's what I did for Taylor Swift is I we like started leaving at the like at the beginning of the last song went and I went pee which was empty and then we left and we had like no traffic no issues nothing like that but i just think in general if you are if you need a pee break halfway through you're probably drinking enough water or enough alcohol that you're gonna need a pee break after the show and then that is so fucking crowded like in general i think like either you do a pee break

in and as someone i have to drink a lot of water i have to drink a lot i have electrolytes all of that kind of stuff uh it is it is unfortunately a sacrifice so yeah pee before and if you want to leave or like if you want to like if you need to pee by the end i would say leave during the like during the final song pee and then get out of the building before you beat traffic yeah and the final song is the final song of the album so you know when when it's coming and she doesn't do any fake outs so like it's the end is the end and like it has like a great lead up to it and it's like beautiful and wonderful and like it's also one that i think is designed well that like you can watch it on the like it's designed in a way that like you could you're getting a good experience

even if you're just watching it on a screen as you're heading out it was so so so so good it was very visually stimulating but not overly stimulating there were some fun things she did flying over the crowd there were two different ones if you've seen renaissance she's on the horse but this one she does a couple different ones can i spoil what she's writing in one of them i won't say it explicitly i mean i feel like if you're listening you're gonna get spoiled yeah yeah yeah i whispered to avia and i said does that kind of look like the car you get at mel's diner and she first thought she goes that's exactly what it looks like the little red paper car and like it had the same obviously it's supposed to be the same car but like it's also

visibly looks a little bit more like the one from mel's diner than the one that you actually drive in which i was yes obsessed with i have so many fond memories of um getting that on my birthday as a child but like i have this video of the girls in front of us when like beyonce like she's coming around in the car of them just waving like hi and i was like this is just like amazing speaking of waving the way that the entire audience like the entire crowd is just waving at roomie when roomie is waving and i was like that must be a crazy thing to like her to look out and just see everybody's hands up waving at her because she's waving at them and then when she took out her ear monitor too and when she could really hear the crowd someone also did a side by side when uh blue

did that for the first time too and was still cute that is so sweet i did lose um on my right eye i lost about one third of my blue eyeshadow because i did cry i was like your contact no no no no i lost about one third of my blue eyeshadow because that i did tear up multiple times and was like tabbing it out it was just like the way that she incorporates her family in a way that is like so they're so clearly excited and want to be there like so so so badly and it's done in such like a protective age appropriate way that is like letting her kids like shine and like try different things to like see what they like see what their passions are and like all of that stuff while making sure that they're doing the things that are that are fun like that they're having a

good time doing it and i just thought it was so amazing and just seeing how like all the how the dancers interact with both like roomie and blue of just like this like sure they're in like the proper place but keeping them protected and yeah it's it's beautiful really yeah it was it's just it's so cool and also like knowing that like how how like the we feel like we have watched them grow up but these dancers have watched them grow from a much closer viewpoint and so it's like that's like just so it's just so cool and yeah can we also talk about her outfit changes i don't know how she did it they were like like these are not like fucking like frozen on broadway quick change like these were like full absolutely intricate fantastic outfits but like

incredibly intricate outfit changes that i was so impressed by and i like oh it just she just looked so fucking good she looks so good she looked so good and i have so many videos of like her asking all of us to sing and i was thinking she goes oh yes i'm so good and i was like no we down that's so nice so i was geeking the whole fucking time her voice is fucking insane it is and she was doing some of the songs in a higher octave than they are actually or even as she's done in previous concerts or they were in the same octave from when she was younger and her voice was a little bit higher and i was impressed with that too and i was like whoa this sounds different if she's doing like vocal gymnastics like it's just it's just amazing and i i mean

not to not to shit on everybody else's concert but i did go on tiktok and see people who had been to all three and they said she was on a new one last night like i don't know what that was that she she she she did something different at this night and i feel i i feel like that's true um on a mini sidebar should i have mods go to sofa and get me see if you can get me a jersey at 2 p.m sure anything else that was just i was just i was just smiling the whole time i was in i was so joyful the only thing i was disappointed in the only only only only thing was she didn't sing all of two most wanted she sang a line so yes but i will i will say that like the i think the medley of og beyonce that we got because i kept singing like people be like do you

We saw a little changeover in one of the videos. Which we didn't notice until we got on. Because again, none of us were spoiled of the show. So we didn't know that this wasn't how it always was. but now looking back how everybody reacted in the audience everyone was screaming and i was like why are we screaming i was like okay so clearly we witnessed history but we didn't know it didn't know the time happy about it now so she at one point prior to our show picked up like when she's being the um 10 foot i think it's 200 woman something yeah whatever you know that that

she's going through vegas uh-huh yep she picks up the sphere and gives it a little a little kiss but in our show she picked up is it the allegiant allegiant air yeah and it so for our show it switched prior to this she was holding the sphere giving a little kiss and that was everybody being like oh she's she's gonna end the show with a sphere residency like this is gonna be epic then she switched it to allegiant and um rumor on the street it's not even a rumor it's been proven at this point yeah but i just i don't think they've either parties gone on record like saying it but like why do we have these details we know them from someone figured this out um that did they serve her a cease and desist yes they served her that's why if they served her

a cease and desist that's why that's why i know for a fact that that's i didn't know if they had threatened to cease and desist or if they served it that's insane you can by the way as someone who's gone to cease and desist you can just threaten one you don't have to serve it save the money at kinkos and they need the money and they do apparently so uh i guess she had asked for 10 days of rehearsal in in the sphere before the show and they are so in allegedly so far in the fucking hole that they cannot give up those 10 days and so she was like they thought she was gonna fold and be like okay you know like i'll take a day and a half and she's like yeah no no and also with how fucking involved this show is she would have done something different for vegas

but it would still be just as involved and like and there's so many contraptions and shit contraptions and safety hazards yeah they need her kids are in it yes like if you're doing something that's about like safety aspects of it and also i think in general you have to be so even with like security in vegas for most of the time when you are doing any even like a small run or an extended long residency in vegas the audience and the fans know that you are staying in vegas and therefore that adds a whole other level of security that it's like this needs to be like the exit all of us it has to be just so much more fucking like locked down and so they like couldn't give up those 10 days and they thought she would cave and she said okay bye and then switched it for

the legion and like i think it's it's crazy to me that the sphere thinks that like this is any sort of selling power that i'm like you're the the level of intricacy of the shows can't require artists to have 10 days of rehearsal why am i spending the money to go see someone at the sphere like all you're doing is telling me that this is like a pretty bare bones setup that you're allowing artists to do and it will not be very intricate when the entire fucking point of the sphere it's like you're surrounded by this if i'm surrounded by and i say this with love because i saw him one time it was great if i'm surrounded by ed sheeran with a fucking a looper pedal and his guitar and a microphone i don't need to see that in 360 no i need to see a jason statham movie

bumblebee in 360 i need to see pow pow pow i need to see explosion i need to see something like worthwhile to spend the money to like go to vegas stay in vegas and like we're close to vegas but like that there's a point there's a whole point to like make it this big fucking ordeal this big fucking show like adele didn't do this fair you know i mean like if you want to do like a theater performance you can do a theater performance wear your gown have your microphone stand up there like don't have explosions don't have rain coming down but if it's a 360 experience i i need i need the seasons i need weather i need change i need to be transported crazy crazy crazy crazy so yeah so she switches it out during the show and it was cool that that was my favorite after she puts it

down and does her little two-step thing after that that's my my absolute favorite part of the show i've watched it two million times of her movie show i should say the movies can we talk the lipstick couch i was obsessed with that the lips one yeah she's that's part of her like show like she does that she's been doing that i so as someone who grew up in the um to that like y2k area area era i like the hold that like a lipstick couch the lips couch has on me is like the same kind of hold like you know the inflatable chairs or like the clear foam that has all like the things in it i was i was like oh my god i'm upset and like the and avianna were talking at the end she was like so that stage looks like a guitar and i go yeah oh yeah she goes like a rock and

were selling knockoff stuff and there are a lot of cute they're very cute but they there are grammatical mistakes on them well that is actually the perk of that atlanta is spelt wrong yes no my favorite is i think the circuit was spelt wrong like somebody was showing off theirs and everyone was like excuse me like it was cute it was a sweatsuit a two-piece sweatsuit it was so cute and they were like did you not notice that these words are spelled wrong on here no i will say that like some of my favorite like bootleg merch that is sold outside of shows in los angeles is the ones where los angeles is spelled wrong like yeah i i love that and like that to me i'm like perfect relic wonderful um they are selling boot bootleg jerseys which do

look like intramural ones or ones you would wear in pe they are not cropped like they are really looking like public school we've got one team red one team blue throw them on and um play your soccer play your your dodgeball i love the ingenuity i love you know supporting local businesses i love the hustle but i'm sorry i i just can't do it but if you want to do it some people were saying they were buying the bootleg merch but also the the bootleg merch to wear around but then keeping their actual merch in pristine condition that's so funny that's funny yeah great merch too i will say even i showed monster shirt he was like wait that's like cute cute he's like that's something that you would get it as like not at a concert i was like

Now, so since it's May, I was like, okay, I need to start prepping for this. So I pulled it up. At the time I was unfamiliar with this person. This person is a working actor who's been in a lot of things, but I wasn't familiar with their work at the time but since then they have been in a show that we watched did i know you had this job already no okay like i didn't i mean it's an audiobook so i've been you know i just get booked on audiobooks all the time no i know i'm just trying to think of should i be thinking of someone we've talked about like that now i know of two or this is going to be just someone who i didn't know

you were even doing the audiobook you didn't know i was doing audiobook for it because i didn't i mean i wouldn't have known like if i would have told you at the time you wouldn't have known who it was anyway but now that i looked on monday i do know who this person is oh my god is it their memoir or they just it's their memoir so go through the shows that it's no one from abbott no because we knew all of them before uh-huh it's not anna sophia rob no because you you even with No, you're like, this one?
