sausage to sausage what you really wanted to say actually my it's sausage to talon you have sausages i have fucking talons for toes you do um i'm good uh i'm really just getting real into um ordering my food um and i just there's a separate one i was showing megan earlier about you know ordering from the catering menu so you have food all week and i just saw that they also have just little entree boxes so you can get it already separated and there's eight different meals and you get a salad with that so i think that's actually the better choice are you getting a salad from bj's it's just a side salad okay i'm just i'm just saying like if i'm trusting someone with a pizookie i don't need their salads to be good it's fine i just it's a well-rounded meal

you get a cookie with it too and that's the selling point uh-huh go like cool a side salad no i mean you get you get like the meal it's separate in separate containers so it's truly no longer the stack of salmon yes it's truly it's truly like a um meal prep when the crossfit bitches find out about this you're screwed and i'll just move on to someone else you see look oh okay they even have the little the little the same thing that they buy on amazon exactly exactly um but let's see what i do this weekend now that we're recording on thursdays i have a whole week to share oh yeah I oh I went to the beach for this like black girl LA meetup me and Avia went

um on our way there we stopped at 7-eleven for some snacks. Slurpees? No um that clogs up my throat and somebody's grandfather was hitting on me hardcore following me around 7-eleven and avia's like that man is really checking you out i said that grandpa is really being creepy because i he asked me my name and i said it was mary because i'm not giving him my actual name he goes so that was my mother's name and i was like men need to stop yes and he kept asking me about what i would like where what beach where are you going on the beach and asking all these questions just following me around the store and so i called him unc because i feel like that is the universal way to say i'm not interested and he just kept going and going but he has no issue

with incest because he related you to his mother exactly exactly um but then we went to the beach and we had a good time meeting some new um people we never met before and um you know that's kind of i found out about it on tiktok so that's how i ask that's how i meet new friends so we got to get you more when i tell you when i saw i was like i was like first of all who are these people she i'm the one who needs new friends and there you are making all these new friends and i click the tag and i go it's not for me can't this is not my event and then i saw that they had like a social media following and i was like in my head i was like did she like if she found these like then i'm going to get a talking to from you when we talk next to be like here we are look ma'am leading

by example now you try yep literally just saw it on tiktok and it was like avia do you want to go and then we made plans to go and um yeah that was it was fun the the food we have catered food so i guess we didn't actually have to stop yeah one of the ladies there is a caterer and so she just like provided food for everybody um there was games some white people came and wanted to play volleyball i was like y'all go get reparations i'm gonna sit here on the side because it was just very odd because they just kind of appeared and then more came it's like what's going on we do come in a fleet yeah but they they were nice enough um they weren't competitive enough for me though if i'm gonna sit here and watch volleyball i need somebody to get spiked in the face without a doubt um

what else oh and then there's one gal there that was actually the organizer's cousin and she came up to me she really wanted to be my friend i was like sure she's very talkative very talkative you attract those people i know she kind of like she's like can you take my picture like come up we were like in the middle of the game she asked if i could take a picture i was like sure so i went over and then i think that was just her way to separate me so cute yeah but um everybody was very nice so um you need to find the white people what's up i'm not finding that if there's a white people group organizing come on over here that's a clan meeting and i'm not attending i couldn't even get it out i'm trying if you saw that on my instagram story you would do a 51 50

you'd be like girl did you get red pills like what the fuck happened oh god so thank you for the suggestion but i won't be doing that well for the safety while being of all of us i will not be doing that you know i'll find something that we can both somebody did bring their non-black friend too so i don't want to be that i know um but um we'll we'll figure something out um that we can go to together and i'll let you just meet the people i'm so afraid of people i know you are but that's not gonna help no it's not i know it's not gonna help it's it's just yeah i'll figure it out eventually and i'll just have to make you go

depending like there are two different kinds of me like you you get me where i'm like you know i know you're scared to go up to talk kind of quieter and like observing but then there's like me being like i'm at a time i'm haha he he look i'm performing and then it's like did you like any of those people and i'm like i don't think so i think i was just being hilarious yeah you liked yourself yeah so sometimes like i treat like i treat those things like um um a one-woman show a performance and that does not I have a fun time but I don't actually like achieve the goal that I'm trying to achieve and the issue is is like I also have not made friends since like not I made friends through like school proximity and through work

and I haven't had to do or like friends that I've met through other people who like through like work or whatever so I haven't had to do the other kind of

socializing you just gotta do it yeah other than that you know I've already talked to you offline about what i did this week and it's something very very exciting vehicular manslaughter didn't even mean that oh megan no i didn't that was crazy

no there's this there's this whole fucking taylor swift joke like i think mary and i explained it to you on one of the live streams that taylor swift didn't like um um harry styles where they're like they'll like reference like a one weekend and it's like oh the weekend you committed vehicular manslaughter and i oh yeah you did explain that to me but i thought you were referencing something different that we had texted about yeah y'all can't see our faces but there was just a silent look at each other of me realizing there but then she realized me going i didn't go oh my i was like where do you think i went oh my god you think i went there no no no no no no no no no no which not even arguably like truly a better joke um but a little too a little a little

a little too topical a little too intense yeah yeah so no i did like i said i did something very exciting that hopefully in like January I can talk about. It's a big step. Dreams are being realized. No, the dreams

them he was like so excited he like saw them at the store and i was like oh these are some good ones and as soon as he sees me he's like we need to have a dance party and then moths is like we've got the hot wheels and he was we will open these and then we will have our dance party and i was like okay for sure my little guy like i like as we're before we walk in the house moths is always like do you have your beta blockers because i just know that this little three almost four year old is gonna put me to work with dance moves and he was so excited to show me that there is a new album from 21 trucks and we are learning i temporarily forgot about them no we are learning about new ones we are learning what is like a line a street line something painter um and then

i also taught him how to play charades but like it's not real charades so i will be like i might sit i might be pink and i might say oink oink and then i'm like oh yeah pig and he'll do that with like a bee and he was like and he gets so creative with it and he's like and i might go all close to you and go and then he like pretended to sting me and then i was going on moving on he goes wait wait wait band-aids and i was like okay and then puts fake band-aids on all of the bee stings that he gave me and then we can move on to the next one i was like you are so literal yeah he's very very literal um and then we played hide and seek and he wanted to hide three times in a row which he did and of course when i look for him when i even get remotely close he has to pop out and be

like i'm right here i'm like i know um but then i hid and i literally just like hid in the bathroom the door of the bathroom is open it's dark in there but like i just hid behind the door that was already open like i didn't adjust anything he looks for me for 0.5 seconds then he sits on the couch and goes uncle mott's daddy go find aunt megan and they're like you're playing hide and seek you have to find her and he's like i think you can find her and they're like you're just gonna give up like you're just gonna let her be not found like what are you talking about and so then i just gave him a lot of shit for abandoning me um but it was fun we had a good time and um that was like i think most of my weekend and i'm trying to remember what else we did a lot of like

around the house kind of stuff we finally hung curtains in my office so i'm recording right now and it looks all nice in here and um yeah i've been like trying to do more handy related stuff oh and i got him his birthday present which is birthdays in november but i got that ikea play kitchen and i'm gonna like you've been talking about it for a while i am so excited for this project i'm about to like fully fucking deck it out and like color like all like the pretty different paint colors like a backsplash and all of that stuff um and i'm so excited for that like i love i love a little arts and craft kind of project so i'm excited to start that but um yeah that was like it was a pretty low-key kind of weekend and i've also been doing a lot of

cleaning i need to do that this weekend yeah it's just now that we have the ac i can do more like manual like stuff around the house and like you know all that and now that we have the curtains up i can like go through clothes try on clothes i don't have to like go into another room to do it because it's like i don't want my neighbors like their backyard is like right into that one of the windows in here so that's been that's been it i killed more plants um so far i have these two little pots at the front of the house they're so cute and i have gone through two rounds or three rounds in each pot and they're all dying and i don't know what to do but it's fine what are you doing to it i don't think it's anything i'm doing i think because

we need to get our trees trimmed really badly they're like dropping like nuts and like seeds and stuff in there and i think they're like smother i think they're just like soaking up nutrients and stuff from it so like i think it's that as an issue um yeah moths also went around the house and like his he's obsessed with spiders because he's terrified of them like he hates spiders but like i was about to say he's he hates them but he's like morbidly curious about them and so he's like oh i'll kill all the spiders and i'm like i don't know if you kill any of them like you just like get close to them and you get scared and then like you just stare at them yeah and i'm like let me fucking kill them and then he decided the one that

he was like not gonna leave alone and wanted to kill was a black widow and i go you're wearing my birkenstocks black widows will chase you and like they will attack you and it is dangerous like of all of the ones to fucking leave alone like leave these ones and then i was like just promise me you're not gonna go do that and then like an hour later i hear bang bang bang and like him running back inside and i go did you try and kill it he goes i think i got it and i was like you're insane you think yeah i go what if it it took a mental picture of you now you go back outside it's gonna come come for you oh and and look at you saying that but yet want to commit crimes outside if you told me that the first of all i'm afraid of killing that beetle too i'm

afraid of all of it but like if you told me that it would like remember me and like it would be deadly like i would just leave it i'm gonna get a beekeeping suit i've decided and i'm gonna garden in a beekeeping suit i would like to see that because i just don't think that's gonna happen one and then it's in my amazon cart right you can't breathe well as it is and i speak from somebody who can't breathe well either i just feel like you're gonna i know but i just feel like you're not gonna like the way it feels across your nose you're gonna be bothered you're not wrong on any front there but you're gonna get too hot in the suit that's actually the best that is that's the biggest concern but the other part of like things touching me is um when there's so many

like there's like spider webs and shit and then i run into them and then i just start slapping myself thinking there's a spider on me and i start panicking so the feeling of this suit on me will feel better than like the paranoia of is there something you won't think them the the net across your face is gonna feel like a spider web and then you're constantly thinking that i'm gonna wear it around the house for a while and i'm gonna stand in front of mirrors a lot to remind myself that like this this is real this is me and this is why i would like to see you okay well i will be sure to forward you along some photos videos of me living my life in my beekeeping suit when we go uh metal detecting is that what you're gonna wear too without a doubt i don't like creepy crawlies

and it protects me it's either that or i dress like the blue man group and that is so sweaty just paint their bodies no it's a unitard and then they have body paint for the exposed pot okay a grand old time so looking forward to wearing my beekeeping suit to keep the bugs away wow incredible it's dramatic but on brand also you're correct there's something about it's the same way i feel like if i wore skin tight clothes to do like a hip-hop class and it just looks like a praying mantis is being like tortured like i'm just like so jerky and like long and like angular and like sick so like when i'm like freaking out about all that i feel like i have beekeeping suit on it gives you the illusion that there is greater danger there than me running into

a spider web and freaking out you know it goes oh she's in a beekeeping suit maybe there's you think that's what these bugs are thinking no no i'm thinking the people and then are you going to tell your neighbors that this is what you're doing or you just want to look like this um i'm gonna promise you that the neighbors across the street who they're gonna be like nothing they're gonna look at me and go that's not a beat that she's doing something weird this is this is a personality thing and then the other people on the street you know i don't know i don't know what they think about me like i don't know if they think i'm like the kind of if i give the vibe like a beekeeping aura or if i give the vibe

if they might have seen me freak out from the the beetle then i think if they were all in their homes watching me lose my mind then they might be like this feels like a beetle related uh outfit okay it's a good time i remember the other thing i was gonna say on our walks are you gonna wear this on your walks no i just don't wear my i can't wear my glasses on my walks because that's when i get extra jumpy because i can see too much so we're on one of our walks and we do like there's different walks we'll do we'll do it's a certain walk when we're with like our nephew and he's like scooting on his scooter and then like on his butt what kind of walk are you

doing no he has this new thing now his favorite way to get from room to room is like lie on his back and like inch with his feet like and like go backwards and i was like it's effective um we walk by this house that we've walked by like so many times and we've seen like they're they've got like you know really nice garden really nice trees and these things were growing and i thought they were like Buckeyes or something and now that it's August almost September as a record it'll be September by the time this is up yes and I am looking closer and I go are those fucking mangoes this fucking neighbor has a mango Melissa it's like so fucking tall and it has to be at least 200 mangoes on there so I am going to be a good neighbor and I am going to leave them a note

and say hey i live here i have got a long extendable fruit picker i'd be happy to help you out and pick some of those or if you want to borrow it just let me know megan make this happen i know and get me some because i love mango and like they're so high up i'm like are you guys ever gonna come grab these like i'm so curious if they do anything are they just like grab like a couple ones that they can it reminds me of my our last place on our walk um by our old place there was this house it was a gorgeous huge old house and they had this orange tree that i thought was a grapefruit tree because the oranges were the size of my fucking head and they just stayed on that tree until they would fall off and then die and no one would eat them and i was like

is it there should be a an excuse in in the law where i should be able to have some a lot of times people will when they like don't want the fruit they'll just put a sign out and say come get them yeah come and get it yeah um i need this i need this in my life i've never seen a mango tree that big i don't think i've ever seen a mango tree period i'll take a i think i have a picture but i'll take another one for you too i could fuck with some mango and there's like twice as many as that or like 10 times as many really makes me excited do they take care of it i don't know i don't think is it supposed to look like that well so they're those ones are higher uh or not the not the fruit itself but the greenery i think it's supposed to be that bushy

well not if it's fruit bearing like that's even their avocado tray so like you're supposed to prune them if you want to like to get the fruit from that um but it's it's grown like exponentially since the winter storm like reminds me of our avocado tree yeah so that's why i'm like if they're not taking care of it that probably means they don't want the fruit i know it's just i'm like let me help you out let me help you let me help you help me help melissa and get us all mangoes well when you say me that no it's there's an extension yeah yeah we're a twofer you can't spell either of our names without me and you know what it's it's how it should be and it fits to who we are and how we are

okay sorry continue about your work predicament okay so since i don't have anything actively to write towards i was like i need to get in a writing group have i actively tried no but then something came across my desk i.e instagram and uh it was like there's there's like uh How's this thing called? An accountability group. And you have to go every day, Monday through Friday, for two hours. And you have to have your camera on and write. Uh-huh.

And you can only miss like a couple or you get kicked out. And here are the times that this is offered. And there are Eastern times. Do you want me to calculate them before I save it? It's two hours, right? Or three? Three. Three?

Okay, I can probably do it. Okay. Eastern time, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. So automatically that one's out. No. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. No. 7 a.m.?

I know. No. But you got to hold that one. Then the other one's 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and then 10 p.m to 12 a.m so the only one that really works is the 7 a.m one because the other ones no social life at the end of the day or where i'm recording at the c1 so so how would you differentiate between someone listing this in good faith and this is an accountability group versus someone who is trying to start a cult well i'm not actually going to

meet anyone no so when are you just gonna be time of day do you feel like you're the most alert and not susceptible to accidentally trying to call i'm most alert i would say like my my power hours are 9 p.m to 3 a.m okay what's the second best because i don't think you should give your best time to this i know but i can't like there's i literally can't because like we can't do the live streams anymore if i did the the late how many days a week is it every day five days a week i just feel like there's a better way for you to write without like i haven't found anything you're literally pulling a me where it's like it has to be all or nothing i i haven't found anything and i don't think that and i need to start writing soon as you know and i don't think that i'm gonna

find anything else that because this starts on september 11th um we might be fine i asked like i feel like oh yeah you just said that but i think it's a good day to fly because like they're on high alert yeah um and i need to start soon and um i just don't think i think if i'm being held accountable i will actually like start going to bed early and if not i just take a nap during the middle of the day can you nap yeah i can nap oh well that changes everything i can't nap so i mean do they let you do a trial run and then like can you like opt out and then opt back in no once you're in you're in what are these fucking like dictatorship rules and the thing is i was like so i was like if i did the late one the 10 p.m to 12 a.m eastern time when i was like

in october i'm going to janelle monae's concert and so like i'm already missing one and then for the 7 a.m to i mean the one that's at 7 a.m our time so the 10 a.m to 12 p.m i'm like i'm gonna be on a flight to and from beyonce so i kind of like got in a uh strong discussion with the people because at first they're like you can't miss and i was like i'm going to have to miss regardless of what i do like you and i don't think you can just hold people to like like what if you have diarrhea like what if you have food like you food anything yeah well i would say in those cases just turn on your camera and just sit there um but like yeah and so then I got in a strong discussion and they eventually were like well if you can if you only just have to

miss a couple then that's fine is it five days a week or seven days five okay I mean I would wish i would want them like if i were putting this on i would do a weekend like have two days in the weekend and then three days in the week and then also like you can't jump groups i was like that day then i'm going i know and so i was like that day that i'm going to see beyonce i was like i can't i won't be able to do the one in the morning but i can come to the one later so like can that count in there like we don't want people jumping groups what are they getting off on this power trip i don't know i'm just run by a man i don't know i'm sensing men i you know what here's what if it sucks what if you like hate

it what if it sucks then i just won't no that's what i mean so it's kind of one of those things that it's like you know it could be and i you could do everything right and like pick the perfect time and ideal situation it could still suck and then you just wouldn't want to do it anyway so I mean I think if we're being ambitious top of the morning to you like rise and shine I have been getting up consistently about 6 30 to pee so I feel like if I just use yeah you know I like getting up earlier and I used to be a very early riser I know you were so this could also inspire me so selfishly i say go for it yeah if they had one that was like a like late later like or earlier no i mean like they have no they don't but 10 9 8 7 that's what i

mean that's essentially like 10 a.m our time yeah it wouldn't work because i have podcasts during the week so that wouldn't work anyway oh true well you know are these are people gonna talk or are you just gonna sit there in silence and like stare at each other you're not gonna stare at each other because you're supposed to be writing so is there like someone watching to like make sure and they're like eyes up on eyes on your own test like i don't know i just think it's just you showing up and having your camera on well different strokes for different folks could never be me could literally never be me it could have been you years ago no no no i can't i i i cannot let people see my face

when i can't see like i already forget what i'm doing with my face when we're on here like i probably mask the least when i've gotten used to how wild my face is showing and i'm like whatever i don't care anymore well and you put when you produce like podcasts like you're not you're your face you're like working and your face i started turning my camera off because then people wouldn't see me because i was seeing the faces that's what i mean like i can't do that like i would literally be performing the whole time like i would be like how can i act like i am writing like I just I mean because I could have because the way we're sitting now I have you on my computer on my laptop and then my desktop is here so I could be like this the

whole time yeah but then are you gonna be like working your angles what are some of the hots in your class at that time in the morning they're gonna get what they get I do have if it's on zoom i do have those filters on that look pretty good so yeah it's you know but if everybody's doing what they're supposed to be doing writing then they're not they shouldn't be looking at me well i think everyone's looking at me all the time yeah so yeah you know i've heard this kind of thing works for people um i literally haven't written anything since i got out of my class thing that i had that ended in july it's been the beginning of july it's the beginning of july oh it's been two months i don't you know if we want to talk about like productivity and

discipline and uh regimen and routine i'm in no place to knock how anyone else does it because i i forgot to drink any water or eat anything yesterday and i had to lay down on my kitchen floor because I could not stand and I go why do I feel like this so I'm in no place to tell anyone I just need your support no I you have my support okay and if it gives you any sort of um confidence boost that this is something that you need you should know that I went on Pinterest and I searched on Pinterest how to get my life together and then I looked at the aesthetic like little like graphics of those things and i saved them because if you put them on like a very clinical kind of a diagnostic medically medical journal that is established and cited and

professional and all of that shit you know that's great but if you put it on a cute little infographic i'm gonna save that shit and i might reference it back and work on getting my life together this is how you know that you're doing i literally was like should i start journaling a cry for help you what was that i don't know what to do i need to do something see this is my need to do something i know and i'm just letting you know that it's a lot better than mine because i'm thinking about journaling i did see something today i believe that was that was kind of like need to get your life together journal like they're like teaching like a it's like a seminar about it on how okay that's a

little i don't need to learn how to journal but i think it's not like about learning how to journal but using journaling to get your life together so maybe you should go i'll see if i can find it again like i literally did no these are embarrassing i can't i can't even read them out loud i'm not doing it but it's just like oh my god megan i keep thinking about it because like i've run away from my problems like literally my entire life i'm like have her through grind it out um and now i'm just like what am i doing like what am i doing and like what do i want to do like what do i need to do like i'm having one of those um and mercury mercury mercury is in retrograde so i don't feel like absolutely insane by it but like i have never felt more like i am on a floating rock in

space than i have in the last like month that i'm just like we're just floating here like what am i doing i'm gonna figure it out maybe through a journal i just can't like do i type in a journal do i hand write it my hand will get tired but then like i don't know i feel weird about typing a journal i know like i feel like jeff bezos can see it which now we know that they the google people have been using all our information but you know maybe if i give ai and i give the power of technology all of my innermost deepest things they can serve me ads on how to fix it true or they can build technology to fix it yeah and they're like yeah you don't know they're like well we just don't need you anymore we will just i'm gonna get a sniper from the fucking sky
