And then he started watching them and he was like, this is pretty good. He has a friend at work who's like also obsessed with The Blacklist and was like, if you've seen the new season of Mott's, it's like you watch The Blacklist. And he like works in production and film guy goes, I'm sorry, it's a wonderful show, dude. Like, it's really well done.

Like, all of this is great. And he was like, my fiance, Megan, loves it. when i met him he was like i heard like the blacklist you have great taste i'm like i know good tv when i see good tv so i need you to now watch the adam project that new ryan reynolds movie on netflix first of all adorable so cute wonderful zoe saldana plays the love interest and i didn't know that but like he pulls out a picture from his wallet and i go it's always zoe saldana and you never see her introduced in a movie first like meeting her no you always see her it's either she's in a frame she's in a photo and it's like it's always Zoe Saldana or your time

travel and there she is yeah like legitimately so that one Mark Ruffalo is also in it and he punches um he punches Ryan Reynolds in one scene and it's the funniest fucking thing ever because he does it on purpose but he punches and he like jumps up because he's so much taller two feet off of the ground like behind him like he's doing a little like little like berries and cream like little lad kick as he's like punching and it's so funny punched deadpool yes but bruce banner punched deadpool i brought up to mods when you're watching it that i was like if they ever made a remake of the live action peter pan that little boy would be perfect like i literally brought that up interesting when do you think ryan reynolds sleeps like he's taking time off of

acting this is like his last thing he's doing okay because i was like he had about 50 movies come out in the last year plus he's very active on social media unless he has someone that captures his voice perfectly plus he's a troll and we both know being a troll is a full-time job i just i hope he's taking time off to just troll but they've got another deadpool coming up right but they already filmed it yeah i think they already filmed it and or i think that it's not starting for like a couple years interesting do they live here i think they live in new york because they're friends with taylor swift who isn't friends with taylor swift me i feel like it's easy for me yeah because she's friends with so many people including problematic people i know

in a minute that i actually have a personal story and not a rant um so you know i moved in september and i ordered furniture then i ordered a table it got sent back twice then i canceled my completely canceled the order because it was messed up each time so then i ordered a new table from west elm in like october i just got my table on sunday this past week so it's been months great table but i signed up for the day before they had like to confirm my delivery they said that the times would be between 1 p.m and 3 p.m why at eight o'clock in the morning was someone banging on my door ringing the doorbell and so like I have a ring now so I was like what so I was like and he's like I'm here from West Elm to deliver I say so then I like put on clothes and then went to the

door he wasn't wearing a mask I had my mask on he wasn't wearing a mask I said put your mask on why are you here and he goes well we were in the neighborhood and I was like well you're not supposed to come to one and he said well but we were already here so we just thought we'd drop it off i go off on him and i was like and also it was daylight savings time so like i had already lost an hour of sleep and then they were there for two hours it just messed up my sleep schedule for a while they got everything but then they lied to their company because at 12 30 i got a notification saying they're in route to your place they knew they weren't supposed to do this so then they faked the paperwork and so i called and told them that they were lying told the company that

they were lying and that they dropped it off at eight o'clock i have footage from my ring if you would like to see it yeah and like telling them what happened and they were like we're sorry complaining but was i wrong to report them for lying no i don't think so because i just think that like a were they doing it so they could like have more time off or like not whatever they're doing there but i think like regardless of that the correct thing to do for them is they've got your phone number to call and say hey we're in the neighborhood we could actually drop it off earlier if you would like i've had places do that and i'm like no i'm not home i've scheduled my entire fucking day around this delivery and most of the time when you're most of the time you're

late and like if you're gonna be early no one's really planning for that so either give me a larger window of time or like call me and let me know and then i can decide if i want to so i do not think you're wrong at all because also they definitely knew they were doing something wrong but i just like people need to stop lying like if you're gonna come in the morning come in the morning if you're not don't but like that's so i can't tell you how much i hate when people show up like when those things are early yeah because it i literally was like up at two when the time changed so i like to watch it because it'll go from 159 to three o'clock and so oh yeah because that's when it changes and then you miss you don't have two o'clock at all so i saw it so

i knew i was up late i watched like the full season of mrs mazel i watched three episodes of Grey's Anatomy like I was watching TV I haven't watched TV in so long so I was up and so like I was tired and I wasn't planning on being awake until much later in the day and they just fucked everything up for the rest of my day yeah no I hate that and also especially when you're the ones even when you're picking your time you go but I didn't pick that time right there's a there's a reason why I didn't pick that time I don't want that time and they were just so like he laughed about it fuck you no this is inconvenient to me in my life well no i don't think you're wrong at all thank you okay my hot take is that the hallmarkification and consumerification and

girl bossification of international women's day has essentially feels like it's kind of become a parody and a joke about women i'm with you with this and that's why i didn't have anything posted on my instagram about it i i can only imagine somewhat similar to how a lot of people in the lgbtqia plus community feel about like pride in targets pride collection and disney doing all this pride stuff then having none of those company morals align with like what they are spending this month promoting and so for international women's day it's a day it's a day and in other countries and i want to say this specifically america i looked it up and did research in a lot of other country the international women's day is like used for protest and like a lot of like rallies

and they like will center things around like women and afab issues in certain countries they will have their protests around that day intentionally that to me makes complete and total sense but the just the sheer amount of i almost said propaganda the sheer amount of like media and just everything about like it feels like pretty little thing five percent off for international women's day and like all international women's day like we are so happy like we love women international women's day do we pay women as much as we pay the men no do we have any women in positions of power no but here you go and like most of the places don't even have coupons but like it feels like yeah a girl bossification of this and it doesn't seem like there's any sort of education

around it doesn't seem like oh this isn't like a remembrance day and this isn't like a there's no time off of work there's no like there is no none of that and it just feels like such an empty gesture that it almost feels insulting there is someone created a bot on twitter for any time a company like posted something about international women's day then it would tweet out if they paid women less than the men in the company brilliant that's genius yeah but yeah it literally i got the international women's day where i was like okay hold up i just feel like everyone's making fun now like i just need you to stop because it feels so disingenuous it's like insulting and again like and it feels like even people like making then making jokes about it where

like all these guys be like happy international women's day like i love fucking women like this is great and i'm like see this is how we know that like nobody has taken this seriously here and like it has just become an excuse for like a cute little graphic on your instagram and it's like oh we're so happy to let everybody know international women's day we love the two women who work at our company like let me explain what what these women do and not let them speak and like it just feels like that so like it's literally become a meme and i even had to look up i'm like what's the origin of international women's day the woman that founded it in the united states i worked with her before she was a also a voiceover actress so she does audiobooks

gaslight was personified into an older lady she's now saying we haven't paid her back and still owe her 250 my boyfriend said we should push back since we've paid her but i don't want to get into it with her and would rather just give her the money in one payment so i have the receipt am i wrong for not wanting to deal with it feel free to be harsh i can take it how much do you like your grandma right the thing is if you took this to judge judy she would be like do you have the receipts for the payment and if you don't have the receipts judge duty would be like you still owe her the money but if you live far away and you know that you've paid her the money if you don't give her the money what is it gonna hurt it doesn't sound like she's a very nice lady

consulting someone it would have taken her two seconds to send you a text message hey they're coming to our town let's go in the spring i'm getting the tickets and then you would have said yes or no and in this case you would have said no and she wouldn't have been out of an extra 350 dollars absolutely not you're not wrong if you're going to just buy something then you take that as a gift it's a gift yeah and also if she doesn't want to be like the oh i found these tickets and Like there's like, like let's just say that they're really close and they're actually a good deal for like what they are. And like, she's like, well, I want, I don't want to buy, I know she wants to go.

So like blah, blah, blah. But like, if you're going to take on that financial burden, it has to be like, and if she doesn't want these tickets, I'll just sell them. Like, but you can't have this expectation. Like, like you have to pay me back for this. Like I did this thing that that's also like hefty for concert tickets. Like that to me is like second, that's like second read that's resale market, like concert tickets which means that you can get those at any point yeah no don't pay her back that's like

absolutely i would be so mad that's like friendship ending yeah the behavior no i think that like any time that like with anything that involves like money and friends if you make calls about like what people are going to spend and assume people will spend that like you have to talk to every like for my birthday i was like okay here are the like and i wasn't even like here's the thing that i spent all this time planning because there's a manipulative way to do it's like here's the thing i spent all this time planning this how much it'll cost everybody if you don't want to go it's fine but like no i literally was making like google docs of like here are these options this is the breakdown this is how much it'll cost every night for each person like message me separately

For reference I got out of a long-term relationship almost two years from the person I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with and right before coming to college. Brent and I met at a

party a couple weeks into school and from then we spent almost every single day together. We got really close and we would go on dates, be affectionate in public. And I even took his virginity. We were pretty much in a relationship, but literally a week into knowing him, I told him that I was not ready for a relationship because I had gone through a breakup to be single in college and I wouldn't be ready for a while. He knew I wasn't ready for a relationship, but he still pushed to further relationship territory. Even when I wasn't comfortable, he would try to tell me what I could and couldn't wear and he became very protective when it came to me going out or hanging out with other people. Because of this, I became very distant and after coming back to

school for winter break, I was too busy to even make time for myself. The distance made him angry and he blew up at me and is now trying to make my life a living hell. He has turned so many girls in my sorority against me and I truly feel like an awful person for making him feel led on. we are no longer speaking but i have heard from so many random people the awful things he is saying about me i feel bad that he i feel bad that he felt let on but i also made it very clear that i was not over my ex and i was not ready for a relationship he was not let on he was completely aware and was like this is a wonderful opportunity for me to like be the absolute piece of shit toxic asshole fuck fucker fuck fuck that i am you set boundaries clear boundaries you told

me you weren't ready for a relationship and he was like whatever i'll just gaslight her into being in a relationship with me and now he's talking behind his back behind your back because his feelings are hurt but he's a piece of shit and anybody that doesn't see that is wrong as well yeah there there is like this this thing of the when you say like oh we were like we we had only known each other for a week we were basically already dating that's a big red flag especially at that age that's kind of where the love bombing thing comes in and then yeah oh so now he's trying to control what you wear and who you hang out with and all of that so like that is all very intentional on his part he didn't feel let on he didn't feel led astray he wanted to control you and you did not go for

it and he thought he could and so now he's upset that he no longer has the power you're a freshman biggest advice i can give to a freshman you're already having trouble with your sorority recognize that you were paying to be in that position and if it's rough freshman year assuming you're let's assuming you're in a panhellenic sorority if it's rough freshman year and these people are being turned against you and like all of this kind of stuff save your money save your money dip the fuck out yeah mphc sororities it's more like we ride for our sisters and then fuck up anybody that gets in our way like literally like if you told me i had to like cast a bachelorette party or just like people i need on my side in a fight like

all of the select almost like a large chunk of the celebrities every time i mentioned you be like you know a sister a sister and i'm like you you you have one like we the rest of us have failed and we just need to like give up and see like how how can when there is when there is people doing it so much better how are we not embarrassed throw the towel in right all we have is just like people dying and like bullying and hazing and just all of this shit i mean we've had that too but then they had a whole moratorium where that got shut down so yeah and you know that i i think the the alum involvement is probably the biggest indicator of the selection process of people and like how things when you have like a bunch of like fully grown adult women who still so fondly look back

at this thing and not only like in like speaking on memories but like you know invest their time and their money and their energy like into this organization and then you have the vast majority of alums for panhellenic sororities like have never ever that's true you know that is very true sisterhood is forever oh but you're not wrong at all correct just just want us to let you know okay hey y'all i'm 25 she her and my partner is 29 he him for the last month or so we have this weekly date to go to our cute little downtown and eat at one restaurant that has a meal special for beer and a pot pie every tuesday it's so cute it's delicious i fucking love pot pie pot pie is like elite food also sometimes like it's one that you can get frozen just good yeah

oh we are planning to go again today so i put on a cute outfit this morning in preparation for it earlier today he decided to invite his friend who he hangs out with online a lot but not often in person which i thought he was inviting him to go with us instead of without me i was bummed when i asked him him if he wanted to go with just his friend and without me and he alluded to yes i absolutely support him hanging out with his friends without me but it sucks when we had a weekly date night and even discussed going the same time this week until earlier today and the kicker i'm a vegetarian every pie they have had thus far has had meat in it so i haven't been able to try the pie i just found out that this week is a vegetarian pie so i could have had the pie this week of all

weeks we didn't know this in advance just to kind of a nail in the coffin situation he asked if i wanted him to bring me anything back but it's just not the same am I wrong for being upset I'm not trying to overreact over something as basic as pie but this was our designated time for just the two of us hanging out without distractions and I know that he feels badly about it but I'm not going to console him when I'm the one sitting home eating Ikea veggie balls instead of sweet sweet pie thank you I love both your podcasts okay here's the thing I don't know if you're like wrong in a sense like I don't think you're having your feelings hurts having your feelings be hurt is wrong i think that like it's not wrong for him to be like oh shit i like i was gonna hang

innocent yet also still like hurt your feelings i think it might be a little malicious to be honest like this is a friend that he never sees in person oh yeah they don't hang out like this is on the day that you like she got up and got ready like this is something that they usually do together i take it back you're right i forgot about that part you know maybe the the online friend was like hey do you want to hang out today and then it might have slipped your boyfriend's mind but like it just seems a little too convenient that this is the day that you guys usually go out yeah and it just feels lazy like you couldn't have come up with another thing to do instead of the thing that we always do yeah so like if you would have been like hey i have this other thing

to do today with my friend but can we do this tomorrow night or whatever i would be fine with it it's the fact that you've been doing this and then he acted like it was nothing even if when he realize you know this was our date night if he was like oh i'm so sorry i scheduled this let's just go tomorrow yeah here's what i would have done when you said that he basically alluded you asked if he wanted to just go with him and his friend and like he alluded to yes i would have never asked that i would just be like fuck that i'm coming along like that isn't necessarily fun but like that is kind of like a petty thing of being like well this is like our thing like what do you mean maybe they are in love yeah this is a little now that you've mentioned that like this

the two women two of the black women in the audience and then decides to be like you both are so lucky that you don't have to compete with the men alluding that the award that she won was harder for that like oh in that face that they made in the audience did you see zy say i make this face about 50 times a day it's true so she's since apologized and i mean i think that like what however you apologize like not my apology to accept um i do think that there will be critiques on any side of how you formulate an apology but i just like i just find this kind of this is the kind of apology that makes me just want to do like the i'm jacking off like like because it's just it's so flowery and like yeah and it just it just feels like there's no remorse yeah it feels so

of just recognizing that people are mourning the loss of someone that uh they are protesting that they don't want those images out there and this falls into the same thing with like the true crime shit that like there hasn't been no crime there is no criminal case there is none of that that people are so fucking weirdly thirsty for murder and like nefarious activities and bad things to feel like self-important that they've like figured something else out that they people don't know and like everyone's out to get everyone else that they have to like fabricate this idea that there's no evidence of that purely based on the fact that they've watched a couple true crime documentaries and think that there's no way you could suffer from a brain injury from falling like your skull

couldn't get crushed in even though one of my biggest legitimate fears is slipping in the bathroom and suffering a traumatic brain injury because that's pretty that's not common but it is one of the more common places to obtain a traumatic like if you fall in a bathroom you're more likely there's sharp corners in most places tile slippery remember i fell in my shower it is my biggest it's like one of my biggest fears like and just that people have no knowledge of forensics but just from what they know from podcasts and they go no that has to be he was murdered he was murdered and then this this this and this and it's just like so fucked up And also this, like, feigned sense of, like, we just want to get to the bottom of this.

scene photos like when i looked up there was this like i was trying to figure out the name of this bridge in la that we were driving over and when i looked it up and it was like it was something about the bridge being haunted then and i looked at it and immediately the next search results were graph it literally said graphic images of the child who fell off the bridge yeah i was like what the fuck there's this woman in new york that fell this happened before we were even a thought before our parents were born that fell off a building and like she's known as the most beautiful person that has died by suicide because of the way that she landed and like a lot of people have recreated this image like taylor swift has doja cat has like they've done it in music videos

where they're lying on a car like on top of a car that's been smashed in it's disgusting and also she wrote in her letter that like when she like there was a letter that was attached to her and she said please don't let my parents see what i look like and now this has become a famous image it's disgusting yeah it's absolutely disgusting and like i just wish that the people who advocate so strongly um against parents showing pictures of their children on social media took to this and like i saw someone literally arguing that there is no dignity when it comes to death and like they're like people need to just like shut up and like show the stuff because like people want to see it and it's like here's the thing you're allowed to have morbid curiosity

and you know what you do you keep that to your fucking self you keep that to your fucking self like if you truly believe that there is no dignity with death at all like that's so fucked like you're not like no no you don't get to like pick and choose when people of like loved ones and stuff like how they decide to go about grieving and like you are not specific you're not owed anything from celebrities but you're specifically not owed photos of their dead bodies yeah how triggering is that for the fan like when people like we want to see like do you want when they see all the time do you want to look in people's eyes and know that they have seen what it looked like when your husband you want to see they they know what your husband's dead body looked like

it's probably the most traumatic part of your entire life is identifying the body and you want to know that every person you interact with then since then has also seen that yeah that's like someone knowing the like when you think about like you don't want people to know the worst parts about you you know i mean like you feel like people look at you differently and you have like why should you have to relive that already didn't vanessa bryant get it yeah so the cops that shared those images um they were all fired and she's actively in court for that and there's been like one other celebrity case where it was ruled yeah and she's trying to get like a law passed that you can't take pictures like that well it also makes no sense because like people are like well

you have to show that in a crime scene i'll go it's not a crime it's not a crime it's not in court if someone wants to pursue like court charges for that sure and if it feels like there's foul play involved but if it's a malpractice no you shouldn't be unless the family wants those photos out there in general but like it should never ever be that and like the idea that justice is at the expense of like the loved ones who are still here that's not justice like that's not what that is because if you can't if you if it does not include the people who are actually losing that loss of someone versus you who've created this idea of this person in your head that you have to seek this irrational justice for no you're so fucked and like the way that

people treat people who are grieving when it comes to their own like interest in their own curiosity it's like you're you're not fooling anyone we know you don't care you're just some fucking perv who wants to see photos of a dead body yeah like wash bones come on like be like a fucking normal person yeah in the same vein because it's about the same person but this woman that her daughter is close friends with my sister and she's always been very kind but then like has shown her true colors in the past couple years as far as like black lives matter and asian hate and the vaccine and she said she was like it it seems curious that he got the he publicly talked about getting the booster shot before and then this happened and then like there was a thread

a hundred like hundreds and hundreds of comments deep of like people that she knows were all like on this conspiracy theory train and then that that was the final thing that made my sister and follow her i was just like i don't know why you held on to that one she's like well she was always so good to me i said i don't give a fuck that woman is messed up colors are out there yeah yeah people did the same thing with um hayley bieber had like a blood clot in her brain that like passed relatively quickly but she had like stroke like symptoms and like i was talking to about it and i was like dude all the anti-vax like they're going wild for this and i was like but you know statistically if she's on birth control and also being a woman is just more like that that is
