hello hi welcome to a brand new episode of don't blame me don't do it we are here to give you
wonderful amazing life-changing advice talk about our lives give some gossip you know just like
chit and chat yeah we will say that this episode you've got one big fat advice because it's an
update it's an update that uh i feel like we learned so much more yeah and we were able to
talk through a lot because it's a live update which we haven't done one in a long time
uh and shout out to the person who did it with us because like i they were so great and like
receptive to like hear everything and you know what they said at the end which i really liked
which was like oh wow getting like an unbiased someone to like look at this i didn't think of
this this way and i think that's like the best part about giving like give like the advice that
we give it's like you can see it from like a 360 bird's eye view and then also injecting our own
life advice which kind of we kind of talked about before we even got on and knew what this was
really about but things in our own lives that were similar the way that i wanted to be like
you should have heard what we were just talking about before this um but yeah so just know that
that's what the advice that you've got um that's like the it's like one big call one big call um
and if you want to call in for another episode you can leave us a voicemail 310-694-0976 send
us an email to meganpodcast at gmail.com or fill out the form that is in the show notes and listed
everywhere else and yeah you can also if you got an update and you want to do a write-in update
we've done that or if this inspired you that you want to do a call-in update because you can see
like there's more advice that can be given fill out the form as well yeah how are you doing I am
decently good I am happy because Michael B. Jordan won the Oscar I am unhappy because of other ones
yeah my baby my husband my husband you already have a fiance hey and that and I know that this
is the reason why you've been engaged for 20 years because you're holding out i am um i'm just
waiting till i get a fat ass and i have somewhat of a chance but congratulations to him congratulations
i he's just so beautiful like and i don't really know him but like i can just tell that he has
a good heart i do know people that have hung out with him and they say that he is genuinely a nice
person when i was like tapping through my instagram stories and i think i've ended up
on a random person who is quite literally posting photos of the whole family as they're getting
ready for the oscars and i said hold up i forgot about that this is wow and he just like you just
know from his architectural digest tour that he's a good person yeah yeah like you do congratulations
to him congratulations to autumn darold archipa who won for best cinematography for sinners
she's also the first woman that won the first black person that has won the first person of
filipino descent that has won so she is a true history maker congratulations to ryan coogler for
best original screenplay for sinners um congratulations to ludwig for her best
original score for sinners and him and ryan have been friends since they were in college
yeah together yeah like they have been making things together forever do you think ludwig
told ryan about the wizard that came to him in his sleep and said another composer is dying
over him as a baby another composer is dying you will be the chosen one that's like i cannot
stressed enough that like that one time he's swedish so it's a little he has a different accent
you want hey i think that a jerk they said it's time to mix it up but like the fact that this was
like a one-time joke of being like wait how is this and now i'm realizing it wasn't a joke like
no it's we are unearthing the thread that there is one composer who is like allowed to make things
at a time and then they live until 150 yep they work the whole time and then a new one comes up
and it's just the same fucking thing yep but also the ones that have been around forever are just in
their 60s which is crazy because why are we letting 12 year olds compose movies because i'm like this
makes this actually factually makes no sense because it's like oh your first credit was in
1975 and i go okay so you were a child okay very weird very very weird also congratulations to the
songwriters for golden for k-pop demon hunters which i haven't seen but i feel like i would very
much enjoy did you uh hand out candy on halloween no i was moving remember oh you're right okay
that's how you missed it because i'm gonna tell you right now matz and i are we were sick of k-pop
demon hunters by the end of that night and i'd never even seen it every kid was that for how
every single one my nieces and nephews love that movie like it is a very i know that i would love
it i just haven't sat down to watch yeah arden's in it and so is liza yep yep yep yep and um so
congratulations on them for becoming the first time that k-pop has won in this category and
congratulations to cassandra kulakudis who is the first person recognized for best casting for a
film it was for unfortunately one battle after another she did do a good job with that though
she got people who would fit the roles totally i would love to know how many of those people
you know were offer only and also they but she's been in the industry forever so like i think i
don't want to downplay no no i don't want to downplay her career i do the only thing i worry
about with the her getting an award for this specific one is it feels like we're doing the
same thing that the oscars has kind of diluted into where you make people wait like it's a
and then you eventually after they've earned it after all these other projects you give it to them
because of like their like career tenure or anything like that but i will say with oscars
a lot of the things are going to be yeah offer only so like i wish there was more it's not like
michael no i know like went and auditioned for sinners no that's what i because i do i i do
wonder if like they i wish they just gave us like more of an explanation of uh like the casting
process for movies like this because like from what i know the casting process of these movies
is not uh a lot of times agencies don't let casting directors like do a lot of what they're
really great at doing but i um for i know that for like specifically the role of chase infinity
Yeah, Chase Infinity's character, Willow. She was, like, one of hundreds. They had her audition repeatedly over, like, three months. So, like, even just finding her, I feel like is...
Totally. I just hope this means that agencies will and studios will let casting directors do a little bit more casting.
Yeah.
Because like, you know, people give them shit and being like, oh, but I've had casting directors who have like explicitly told me how hard they have been like rooting for me and like how hard they're trying for it.
And it's like, sorry, they're now after doing all of this and me putting all this work in, they're now saying that they want to cast in-house.
And they've sent me three different Netflix actors that I who they think.
And then the director is just going to pick the one that they want.
So I hope that the recognizing of casting shows that like how important it is because people get upset that like, why are there no unnamed people in that?
That's not casting's fault.
Casting wants to find the people.
They want to find that.
They want to find the Chase Infinity for it.
They don't want to just, you know, go through like who's the most famous top five famous actors on IMDb and like pick them.
That's like a studio and a network and directing choice.
Yep.
So, I hope that this changes a lot for her.
Yeah, it changes a lot.
I would say it was a nice, tight award.
Before the award ceremony, Sonam and I went out for our annual birthday celebration, which is a little later this year because our schedules didn't align.
But she has more weekdays off and I have more weekends off.
So, Sonam's my cousin.
and so we had decided to do like this thing called tea around town which we had talked about
a couple years ago because it just popped up on tiktok and it took place in or they had things
set up in new york and we were like this is so cute so it's like this pink bus that you get on
it's decorated with flowers they have like nice linen set up on the tables and you have high tea
while you're driving around the area that you're in while there's also like a musician on board
and we're like this is perfect i get so they finally um announced that it was going to be in
la and so we signed up usually i am a person that reads a million reviews before i do anything
it was also for her birthday you know yeah you know but the excitement of it like finally being
here it seems like just from the post it seems like it's been like a great experience people
love it the pictures are so cute that people get the night before sonam's like i've been on tiktok
and people are bashing this they're saying that they don't show up on time they don't the food
is disgusting and it's just a terrible experience and i was like really so then i go because i'm no
longer on tiktok then i go look on yelp it has one star on yelp oh shit everybody's talking
shit about this saint everything that she saw on tiktok and like the people are unresponsive
so we're just kind of like you can't cancel night before and you cannot cancel so we're just like
Fingers crossed.
Maybe it was just one group that had one bad experience and they left all these bad reviews.
Or you can have a viral TikTok out of it.
So we go.
Oh, this is making sense.
Because I was about to say, this isn't what I thought I saw.
Okay, now I'm piecing it together.
Piecing it together.
Yeah.
So we go.
We arrive 15 minutes before, like they asked.
the people that are there half of them are from the tour that was ours was scheduled for 1 p.m
theirs was scheduled for 12 it was the group before ours they haven't left yet and then the
bus driver pulls up and so we're like okay we'll just you know it's fine the bus driver pulls up
she has no idea she's just the bus driver she has no idea what's going on the people that actually
work for the company aren't saying anything there we can see them like cleaning up from the one
before but they're not coming out and then she's also saying like the customer service isn't
responding to her she's like we have to pick up the people from before but we had to I'm just
dropping off the morning group which that had to be like 11 it's one o'clock now so that means
they also left late she's like we're dropping off the morning crew uh the group we're cleaning up
We still have to go and pick up the food and come back.
This bus is going to be for the 1 p.m. group.
There should be another bus coming up behind me.
The other bus comes.
They have nothing on that bus at all.
There's nothing.
Like there's no food, anything.
And then I get a text message saying it's going to be postponed till 2 p.m.
And we're like, fuck it.
We're just leaving.
So we left, went and sat. We're in Beverly Hills. We went and sat where my car was parked. And we're like, we just need to find somewhere else to go because we're we're hungry. Like we have an eight. And you look cute. Yeah. And we look cute. And so I did. I was like she was looking just like for a normal restaurant. I'm like, let me see if I can find just some tea somewhere. And then we found the Peninsula who had a reservation open for one thirty. It was the only reservation they had for the rest of the day.
wow so we lucked out and they're right literally two minutes down the street so we went we're like
sweaty I drove because it was hot we went and it was beautiful they're like you're here for like
looking like that for a last minute reservation they were like y'all look great you look amazing
they were the greatest people that i've ever encountered at any type of service like they
were so nice so accommodating we had a table that had like a place card that said it was reserved
for us we were near a harpist that was playing music they were very like attentive they gave us
because they asked if we were celebrating said our birthdays we got a beautiful like in addition
to everything that we ate part of the tea service which I had I had never had like a mint chocolate
tea before and then I put some oat milk in it it tasted like like a light hot chocolate it was very
nice but like when the service is excellent it really pushes things to be better but so they
gave us like our own little personal cakes for our birthday and they they had the harpist playing
happy birthday for us the cake itself it was chocolate but it had earl gray in it and i've
never had that before but those flavors together are phenomenal that makes sense yeah and then
they gave us these gold coins to they have a fountain outside and so they were like make a
wish at our fountain and so they gave us one to throw in but also one to keep and so it was just
a lovely experience everyone was just so nice after that shit we have had gone through before
yeah i mean the unparalleled experience like i i love the peninsula like me too that is
oh i want it that's where i stayed when we did the premiere for my movie and like we did like
a whole press thing the way that they just make you feel like i i just love them like i i i love
them so that's such a great and you also saw a car which i'm pretty sure had to have been
matz's cousin because she takes a picture of the license plate and matz's family owns car dealerships
and um it was like when you said where you were i was like oh i can picture which cousin i think
that this probably is because i was like do you think this is like a random person and i was like
there's no way like maybe somebody just had i have seen the dealership like somebody i mean like
people driving that could just be somebody from denver but in my mind it being at the peninsula
and the kind of car it was i was like i think this might be his cousin so i have to ask next
time yeah so it was it was it was very nice and then we saw people that were leaving to go to
the oscars too nobody we recognized but um it was just cool because they even had like a step and
repeat set up there so people could take pictures before they left and they're like you i should
take one we're like no we ended up doing it just because they wanted us to but yeah let's
a fun turnaround from i got it now we got to refresh the like yelp reviews to like see
the new ones it's gotta be and i've emailed them and i was like i need a refund and of course it's
like we have a record number of people emailing us so it'll be delayed so i'm giving them one
week and then i'm uh doing a bank fraud because it was a fraud it's a scam they're literally
running a scam well it also doesn't seem like they've got like enough buses enough anything
that they are just expecting people to be fed up and like walk away because like i think if
everybody chose to sit and stay and be okay well wait there's not enough room no it's over like
just way too much overhang of that but wow i would have never known from your adorable pictures
yeah the trials and tribulations you went through to get there we had been through a lot
but we made it through and we had a wonderful experience at the end of the day oh i love that
we are going to take a quick break and then we will be back with the update

Okay, so my call was from the episode on May 8th, 2025, titled Never Had Sex With Your Partner.
and essentially it was about a miscommunication over my canceled birthday get-together with my
sisters that caused one of them to alienate herself from our entire family when she was
already distancing herself for unknown reasons at that time. I did take your guys' advice,
your advice being from Melissa to kind of give her some space and from Megan to also give space
and maybe send a message to letting her know that, you know, her feelings were valid and that
I'd be here whenever she was ready to like talk. So I did take that advice. And I did send her a
message. And I sent her a decently long message a couple days after I watched your guys's podcast
episode with my Ninit. And I just told her, you know, that I understood, you know, why she would
feel the way she felt seeing the cars lined up on the driveway when everything was supposed to be
canceled. And how that could hurt. I told her, you know, that I was there for her and that,
you know I wanted to be in her life I wanted to be in her kids lives because she does have two kids
and you know whenever she was ready to like talk that I would always be here so I decided to leave
it at that because at that time my sister Kat who was also mentioned in that video she literally
had just had a baby um and it was the same day I sent that message so I kind of just decided almost
kind of like a like a bookend for lack of a better word to send the message and just let it rest um
Also, there was just a lot going on in our family at the time.
My sister-in-law was battling terminal cancer.
There was just so like we were closing down our family business that my sister and my mom and I had been running for 18 years.
I just like didn't have like the mental capacity to go through it.
But I still wanted to be there for her because I am the youngest of seven kids.
And out of all of them, she was the one I was closest to.
So I did mention in my original call that like I have had estranged siblings.
I have an estranged I had an estranged older brother for like five years he came back in the
picture after time for himself and then I have an older sister and I wouldn't mention this if it
wasn't important but it'll kind of come into play she essentially alienated herself from our family
10 years ago and it's mostly stayed that way and it was a situation that happened between
her and Tabitha it was a miscommunication that my older sister my oldest sister blew up over
she took it out on Tabitha and just completely just ran off from everybody including my parents
So, it really sucked that Tabitha essentially did the same thing to me, and I didn't understand why.
And that really sucked.
Mm-hmm.
So, everything was quiet for a little while, and then I found out that my sister, Nicole,
she had been, like, texting and, like, leaving her voicemails every week, like, the entire summer.
And in the beginning of summer, she'd gotten, Nicole had gotten a response back where Tabitha just said that we were all toxic drama.
and everyone was a bit taken back we were like okay like this is a bit nuts and then i had found
out that and this was in may of last year that my dad had called in for a wellness check on
tabitha because she was not responding to anybody so i should i should actually have said this was
just before she responded to nicole this was maybe like a week okay and and how long was this after
you texted her same day oh same day it was like it was literally the same day i had my i was
literally i had sent her that message i was literally at the hospital visiting cat's baby
and then i was getting text messages from my mom freaking out saying dad just called me he's
telling me that he called a wellness check and we were going to go over there that following monday
to like just talk to her in person because she wasn't responding to them either
so that happens Tabitha tells my dad leave me alone entirely I don't want anything to do with
you and it's silence for the entire summer after she tells Nicole that we're all toxic drama just
total silence so then September rolls around this would type September rolls around and it wasn't
until october i found out that nicole had been in contact with tabitha had made contact and kept
contact with her in september and didn't tell anybody till the end of october and essentially
she was saying there were things that were coming up that we didn't know about she claimed that uh
during the wellness check that the police officer claimed that my father accused like said some kind
of accusation of trigger warning like that there was like domestic violence going on in the house
and we were shocked we were like they're like that he like that she was being hit by her husband
so that's what Tabitha had relayed to Nicole she was like yeah dad had said this about it
and I don't want to like talk to him she was also making claims like that the reason she wouldn't
reach out to Kat and I was because we were too close to my parents and I didn't really understand
what that meant she's like you're too like close to them like she's like you're too close like
they're too close to them so I can't talk to them so we're kind of piecing together that the issue
she's really having is with my parents and so we're like okay and once we find out about and
at this point it's only the three three of us other girls who know so it's just uh Nicole had
told Kat about her reconnecting with Tabitha and then Kat had told me about it and I was like okay
well I'm keeping this to myself like I don't want I didn't want to hurt our parents by like
telling them like there was contact made and like no one said anything and eventually all came out
in a family like ours like you can't there's no secrets being kept and it came out so messy
and eventually Kat couldn't sit with like not knowing whether or not my dad had made those
accusations about my brother-in-law so Tabitha's husband so she essentially called my dad over and
was like hey i need to know if like you've said this but obviously she knew if she was doing that
she would know that someone made contact because how else would she have had information about that
wellness check so she essentially asked him he was like apparently look on his face she was like
he was like god gosh no like there's no way i would have ever like said anything like that and
keep in mind tabitha and my dad out of all of us girls closest they were the closest out of all of
us all growing up they went everything everybody together did everything together so like this
this entire thing is like really crushed him especially in comparison so like to hear that
he would do that I was like it was already shocking to hear so we get that information
and that all comes out my mom finds out everyone's just kind of a bit relieved that someone has heard
from her and then Kat is essentially just kind of going off the deep end because she's like well
Nicole is just placating her like she's not actually like getting down to the root of the
issue which I don't know currently like what her relationship looks like with Nicole right now I
don't have a very close relationship with Nicole we're like the kind of sisters who are just like
hey like what's going on we see each other we talk it's good but like in terms of like dynamic
like we all kind of had different periods of time where we've all been close to one another
so yeah essentially I I was very upset because out of me and Tabitha were really always really
close growing up. And one of the biggest issues that has been going on for like a long time is
her separating herself. So I know I talked about that in my original call. I had a really close
relationship with her all my life. And when she met her husband, it was the same with that as
well. And when I met my husband about two years after she was with hers, the four of us were
extremely close. When COVID happened, all of a sudden, like everything kind of took like a
dramatic shift also politics played a huge part in it too they were very like covid is putting a
chip in like you're like if you get a covid like shot like that's like you're getting chipped from
the government like trump stuff like it was really extreme and like navigating that was like
absolutely impossible but like i went from like her husband being like a brother to me to like
he only like would call me to ask her ask me like hey what kind of cake does she like for her
birthday hey what book would you hey what book uh do you think that she would like for christmas
and during this time they had both had two kids she was working full-time she was she was at a
time and you had mentioned this megan like struggling like on the inside she was dealing
with like postpartum depression so when she was dealing with that you know we were the ones that
she was calling when like she was having anxiety attacks she was freaking out whatever and this
was going on up until like when i called in on my birthday and we were all kind of the ones rallying
and who were there for her while her husband was going on like paintball trips like for weekends
like just spending like days and days away and so we could see that there was a disconnect there
and like my my mom had gently tried to point things out but she refused to like see it or
acknowledge the fact that maybe that there was an issue going on at home so we've been aware that
like there could be something internally like happening that we're not around there for but
like whenever we would see her she was always like a crying mess in front of my mom and totally okay
but then when it came to like us she was constantly we found out later that she was
constantly telling my mom that she felt like she was left out by specifically Kat and Nicole not me
so with all that kind of combined it kind of makes sense by like on my birthday it's like okay it
seems like it's the straw that broke the camel's back right yeah however another additional piece
of information we found out was that she was actually never there on my birthday she never
saw the cars it was her husband she never came to drop my present off on the porch she asked him to
do it and from what we gather is we just assume that he called her texted her you know when he
got home he told her so she never even was going to show up on my birthday and so when my so when
Kat and Nicole were like hey come in let's talk about this well of course she couldn't come in
because she wasn't there so that was essentially a mess so I only found that information out
in December so um my sister-in-law she unfortunately uh she passed a couple days
before Christmas I'm sorry thank you and so after she a few days after she had I got a phone call
nine o'clock in the morning like December 22nd or 21st and it was from Tabitha she was apologizing
she said that she felt terrible she's like I haven't said anything because I felt so much
shame about how like I ran off she's like you never did anything I felt I feel so bad like it
it was never like she's like you out of everyone she's like it wasn't like anything you did and
I kind of was a bit like silent I really didn't know what to say so I just and she's like you
know I want you to be like in my life I want that and I kind of I just kind of zoned back into the
advice you guys would give me which was like you know if she ends up you know just like coming back
in like give her that space and like you don't need to like grill her and like whatever about
like what was going on in her life and I totally was like yeah like if she needed that space I get
it and I told her as such as well and so I just told her I was like you know what you did like
really hurt like I I don't understand like why it took nine months so she apologized for everything
I essentially told her I wanted to have a bigger conversation about her and her husband because
also within all of this I had found out that like she had been calling me spoiled and entitled
behind my back and her husband had been talking about me really negatively for a long time and
this was coming from Kat's husband and I'm not sure why why this is popping up now but I was
like I had told her I was like I just I was very kind about it I just said hey like I would just
like to sit down with like all of us and like I know there's been a disconnect you know for
whatever reason like since for whatever reason in quotes honestly since the pandemic and COVID
like things have been so messed up like the four of us used to hang out and go see movies and like
do everything together and now like you barely like your husband barely can even look at me or
say hi to me like on Christmas like all of a sudden he hated me and and I was just like I
just want to talk everything out I was like I really hope we can talk soon I was like I want
you'd be a part of my life too three months have gone by and i've heard nothing huh at all i did
she say yes when you said like i want to have a bigger conversation yeah she and i had told her
yeah okay i had i had told her i had said um i was like i was i was like i would like to talk
like to like both of you i was like you know it could be separate and i can also be together i'm
like but i do like one i just i want to air the whole thing out right like every single issue
let's just lay it on the table and like get it over with like i can't do this anymore and she
was like well yeah he'll do it for me is what she said and i was like her husband like he'll have
the conversation for me and i said yeah oh like in lieu of her yeah like a proxy no oh like he'll
like he'll do this thing and doing me a solid like he'll just do it yeah like he'll do me a favor
and i essentially was like i was like this dude like he referred to me like as his little sister
like if he can't sit and have a conversation with me about his problems like i don't want to do this
I didn't word it to her like that I just told her I was like I would I was like whenever like you
know we can all have this together like I want to have that conversation and she's like no I want
to have that conversation too and it's been total like radio silence like nothing did you like I
don't know like if you celebrate holidays or anything was she around during that time or
so Christmas came by obviously that was like only a couple days after she first reached out she
wish me a merry christmas i said the same to her i also like i had sent birthday both of her kids
birthdays were in the summer and i it felt so wrong of me to like not acknowledge that so i
sent like a cards in the mail i also sent them a card in the mail for christmas and then um i saw
her at like the celebration of life for my sister-in-law nothing her husband entirely ignored
me she said like hi to me and then just was off in the crowd of people which like that wasn't the
time and place to bring anything up not at all that was not about that however part of me now
thinks that like maybe she reached out because like she thought like i would do or say something
maybe as a celebration of life like to keep appearances like didn't want people thinking
that there was something going on right so but anyway though like she didn't spend any time like
sitting with us or talking with us but like i said like it wasn't the time for it anyways right
so I kind of like grappled with myself for a while I was like in January I was kind of thinking I was
like did I not give her like a clear indication that like the ball was in her court like hey like
I want to have a conversation with you when you're ready but then I'm like I did like I essentially
told her like hey like when you're ready like I'm here but I'm kind of sitting here like three
months later ironically my birthday in like however my it's supposed to be like the one
year anniversary of like all this like stupid drama and I'm just like I'm so done with it
And it's like, I found out another piece of information last week, which is that she has seemingly reconnected with our eldest sister who's been alienated from the family for the past 10 years.
And I'm thinking it has a big reason as to why she has not rekindled with the rest of us.
I had a very toxic relationship, like, kind of relationship with my oldest sister.
She was very, very cruel to me growing up.
I mean, there's a nine-year age gap, but, like, she was very terrible to me.
And, I mean, the funny thing is, Tabitha experienced this, too.
She was also the reason, the catalyst as to why our eldest sister, Stacey, eventually just, like, left the whole family.
And it destroyed her for years.
Like, she blamed herself as to why Stacey removed herself from the family.
And now, suddenly, they're talking.
The way I found out about it was the stupidest way.
But, yeah, they're now, like, talking.
and with how stacy was very negative towards my mom like growing up she would tell her friends
my mom she has struggled a lot with like medically um like a lot of like she's had like a lot of like
knee replacements back problems she would like tell her friends that my mom was like a drug addict
and she was like this other thing just really terrible things really really like awful yeah
and so and she was like the oldest daughter so she was kind of treated like a little bit like
the princess especially by my dad so when all this like kind of happened and like should we
had the falling out with her it was kind of like a long time coming when it came to stacy it was
just like we knew and we knew that like once she was gone like we were never going to hear from
her again like unless we all told her that like she was right and she was perfect like it was
never going to happen yeah so to know that she's talking to like her and it made a lot more sense
to me because in combination with that my mom has reached out every once in a while to Stacy
to just let her like it's her daughter you know she'll always say like you know I'm thinking about
you you know I miss you in the last and Stacy never has ever reached back out to my mom to
respond to one of those messages in the tenure she hasn't been around but this past October
she reached out and said that my mom needed to apologize and take accountability for messing up
every single one of our lives so I so I hear that and like I know that Tabitha is now connected to
that and I'm like okay there's like clearly like a a bred hatred going on for my mother that's
going through Tabitha now which is wild because Tabitha was always so close to my mom like
whenever like she had problems or she was struggling with the kids like my mom was the
one she went to when she was having a hard time but now it's like it's all turned so now I'm just
kind of in this position where i'm like i don't know what to do but i want to be over it part of
me is wondering if nicole knows about this if she knows that she's talking to stacy but i'm afraid
to ask her and i've been kind of sitting with that for like weeks now and not i've only told
my husband i haven't told anybody because i know that if i were to tell somebody i would i would
blow up my entire family quite literally well not to be uh unkind it seems like a lot of them are
doing it on their own so like i don't think you need to be a peacekeeper and like try to like
not contribute to that because like clearly there are people doing that without the goal of like
fixing or repairing and for you like you're trying to figure out what's going on i don't think you
have malicious intention and i think there's a lot of other trying to get to the root to what
everything is i wouldn't i wouldn't carry like the burden for yourself of like you know trying
to keep it together it just like it came like so sudden like it was just like all of a sudden it's
just like we became the enemy and like nobody knows why and like i think i blame her husband
i blame her husband yeah to be fully frank my parents are in the same ideal yeah does he have
family yes so before they got married her mother his mother was actually terrible to tabitha like
she treated her horrifically like she would come home like crying sobbing like why does my
boyfriend's mom hate me after they got married and then she had a kid all of a sudden she's
wonderful she's great she's watching the kids we go to thanksgiving over there which like my parents
don't hold like you know they understand that like as we've grown up we all have our own lives
but like it became everything that like her husband wanted to do that plays a big part in it
too like that's what they would do yeah and that yeah that does play like a huge role in it which
i think and i told my husband i'm like i legitimately believe that i would have already
had this conversation that i want to have with her if it were not for him but unfortunately like
There's so many issues with him as well.
I mean, it's just, yeah, it's a lot.
It sounds like he kept his religious views close to the chest until after the pandemic happened, which is something that happened with somebody in my family.
So, like, it might have been where, like, things got triggered where he could be more open.
and now he's talking about it more with your sister and has gotten her on that side and then
is because of that because of your political beliefs and your family's political beliefs
he is creating a world where she only has him and his family well covid was like a forced isolation
and so for for how old is he literally he just turned 40 oh okay take it back yeah she's a
couple yeah he's a couple years older she just turned she just turned 36 okay so yeah the forced
isolation isolation is like a tactic in abusive relationships and like with covid that was like
forced isolation and a lot of people a lot of men don't ever deal with their like own mental health
issues and like their paranoia and like anxiety and ocd which they just view as like oh i'm correct
i'm right and it's like no no you're experiencing like paranoia and then you're seeking out if he
was raised religious seeking out religion seeking out all this confirmation kind of bias and then
she is postpartum probably also self-isolating a little bit and he it struck as an opportunity
that like with it with with covid needing to isolate you being postpartum and self-isolating
getting his claws in her in a way that like you know i that i could see her feeling like
are you more opinionated than nicole or are you more like straightforward no honestly i think i
kind of fail in the like baby of the family who's like loud about everything i i'm like i keep the
peace like i'll be honest about something but like i try to be as kind and i try to be very
kind and straightforward and like i don't say anything unless i feel like it's absolutely
necessary nicole she is a hundred percent the peacekeeper and she like she won't bring up the
problems she has just to keep the peace and that's why she reached out to nicole and that's why
yeah that's the only one she's talking to because it's probably the one that he feels the most
confident that won't change the current dynamics that they've like set in place
yeah which hearing that like makes a lot of sense i didn't look at it from like that perspective
yeah yeah because like this entire time i've looked at it like i was the one that like growing
up it was like the closest totally you would always come to and like now like i was essentially
like i'm like you reached out to our estranged sister of 10 years before you even talked to me
and i'm like i was so baffled and hurt so i was like so but hearing that makes so much sense
think of him like he's in the driver's seat i don't think she's making the decisions even if
she thinks that she is i think he's probably being like have you ever thought to like reach out to
your oldest sister like have you ever like i in a way that like telling her that makes her think
it's her idea and like it's in a way that like it all is very because like seven kids is a lot
of fucking kids and for the fact for her to only
reach out to the one who's estranged and
then the one who is like the ultimate peacekeeper
who even like kept it from everybody that they were
in contact who's like probably not getting
like digging down deeper to it
it's not even like I think
for him it's probably
a tactic to
make her feel a little bit
crazier that she is being
isolated because he can point to you're not
isolated like you still talk to Nicole I would never
have you cut off from your family and even
like with dropping off
your birthday present it was like he chose to do that yes he chose to do it like it might have been
like you know i'm getting her birthday present and he's like okay i'll go drop it off just so that
you know you know we're being nice but still keeping the distance so then she couldn't
actually go talk to you which is what she probably did want yeah and things like that hurt your
feelings and makes then other because the goal with this kind of stuff is like you poison like
he said like you're spoiled all that you poison the ideas and the the views that they have of
the people in their life and then you have that person act in a way that hurts the people in
their life so then you're having them pull apart from both sides so you're giving this person space
because like you're actively doing things that hurt me you're like saying things you're you know
making me feel like i'm reaching out and we're gonna connect and then you ignore me and then
you're also being poisoned continued again and again about the rest of our family so you're
having to pull away more so it just is like a separation of that and i also do wonder if
her saying that she accused or she said that the cop said that your dad had accused him of dv
i do wonder if that was a little bit of her trying to gauge would everyone would anyone believe if
that was true not that would anyone believe if dad did that would anyone believe that my husband
would do that to kind of like see where that's at because if she's been isolated for this long and
like his mom is watching the kids and all of that kind of stuff she probably like her husband thinks
that he hangs the moon and the sun in the sky and then the other people in their life probably
validate that and so it's like do the people in my life also think this because even when you said
she felt like so much shame and embarrassment that like she hurt you like this and then she
like pulled away and all of that she probably thinks that like she's an awful horrible human
being because he's probably told her that and that like she no longer feels credible as like a
even like because and but i think the difference is is like if to give you like any like the biggest
advice i would give you is like what you keep saying to us of being like we were so close as
kids reiterating that to her that like you have known her so much longer than she has known him
and like you have all of these fond memories with her but not specifically saying that no
not because you don't want to make it seem like he's the enemy but like essentially just like
reminding that like the version of her that's her right now which i promise you she really does not
like like she doesn't like how she's acting she doesn't like how she's behaving and he he is the
influence of that that you are not that that doesn't taint how you see her through like your
entire lifelong relationship and that she still exists outside of her current self as someone who
you really love and care about because this to me is just like yeah absolutely like textbook and
unfortunately like it can like with relationships like this it can happen kind of at any time and
covid was a huge fucking stressor for that that like made a lot of people kind of snap in that way
and there's also like again a lot of plausible deniability there for her and if you if she was
that close with your parents i think she's probably trying to create the most distance with them
because they're probably the ones they're the ones that he has made he's probably the most
afraid of because they're probably the ones who could like see through his shit the soonest and
also who would probably be able to actually pull her out of it which is like a fairly hard cycle
yeah yep all right we're gonna take a break

How old are her kids?
That was my question.
Her kids?
Yeah, her kids right now are five and four.
So they'll be, yeah.
So she had them like very close together.
So I mean, and she wasn't even able to take a full maternity leave.
With COVID too.
Oh yeah.
Her first daughter was born like in June of 2020.
So it was right on track with it.
Yep.
So yeah.
that I don't know for me it's just like I guess looking at it from this perspective like when I
first obviously talked to her in December would it be like a better approach to just like ditch
the husband be like I just want to have a conversation with you and like see if that
gets somewhere I would even propose it of being like you like you forgot that you were upset with
her like I would phrase it like that of being like oh my god I just like have you seen this
new coffee shop that opened across the street like made me think of you like that's so fun
let's grab like are you free Wednesday like let's go to lunch like in a way that is just glazing
over everything because that the goal is to make yourself a like safe person in his mind that like
is going like be take a take a take a leaf from Nicole's book like you are a peacemaker to the
point of like you're just you're not even gonna emote about it like it's just whatever like and
i don't even know that i would bring it up on the first time no meeting second third i would it's
about building that confidence again or that um trust again yes she needs to trust you again i
think that like you care about her and like i think you're as opposed to like nicole obviously
cares about her too but nicole cares about keeping the peace more than like resolving this and i
think like you being like someone who you're like oh i'm not necessarily like the loud youngest kid
but I'm not going to just like let things totally slide I think you'll be able to be like paced and
measured with it like as I'm not one of those people like I have a really hard time holding
my tongue and that would be really like it would I would do it but it would be like a really
difficult task for me but I think like the fact that she even admitted to that like she feels
really bad about this and there's like a lot of shame there I think like waiting for her to reach
out or even if she thinks that it's going to be a conversation that involves talking about
everything i think that she will retreat from it and i think her husband will without a doubt like
make that not an option or a possibility but he just needs to think that like everybody's on his
side and that parents are evil and all of these things and i'm not saying that you have to like
participate in that conversation but just not even bringing it up yet because i think she'll
probably go back to the place of you know like you said like you you'd see her really struggling
with like the kids and he was just like off doing his own thing and i think that she will
start to feel comfortable and like share that with you again and then i think that's when you
come up with a plan with your parents and the rest of the siblings to figure out how you could
help her get out of this but like if i was her i would feel almost as if it was like a lost cop
like i was too far into it it was too far deep and it was like oh my god he got this like perfect
circumstance of covid me having two back-to-back babies i already have a sister who's estranged
and like all of these things like happened in perfect timing that which by the way they don't
always happen perfect a lot of time it's contrived to do that and all of those things and that all
of this stuff like I'm too far gone I already fucked up my relationship with all of these kinds
of things that like if I was given a life jacket even if as long as they didn't say hey I'm like a
I'm a life preserver here throwing you one I'm trying to help you get out even if they didn't
say that I would treat them reaching out as probably I would probably see that as a sign
that was that that was going on and I would like chomp at the bit for it and even if she wasn't
ready for it just like starting to send her like funny tiktoks of saying this made me like think
of you like stuff that it just feels super non-threatening super non-confrontational and
in a way that like the more you can get her out of the house the more you can get her away from
him the more you can get her away from his family yeah the more you can just like get her and it
doesn't even have to be like you don't have to get her back into the family but like the more you
can just get her away from from him i think that she will start to feel like there is more of a
possibility for things to like change and improve um but i i can see how she would feel like
completely like consumed by this especially like you said like everything else and like
he did this to like this all really started with him the same time that like all this other shit
was happening in your family so everybody's plates were so full so like they couldn't
no one could it would be like oh she's pulling away but there's all these reasons that it could
be because all this other stuff is going on and then like everybody's got a lot of shit to go
through and they're going through all of their own stuff at that same point so it's like she's not
the one that everyone's attention is is on so like she's feeling like she's being slipped through the
cracks which i think he did on purpose the last year before like everything was happening she's
made it like like you guys said like you know invite her out like she made it so impossible
to make herself available because it's one of those things where it's like she's like working
till eight o'clock at night she's got kids she she was always saying like saturday is like her
catch-up cleaning day and sunday is for family time which means like yeah nobody else so it's
like she didn't leave room for anyone to like get in there so it's like that's why like when she was
going to like our mom and complaining about everyone's leaving me out we're like you're
not giving a space to even like yeah try to even like push ourselves in like I mean Kat had like
begged her to like go out to like uh like a breakfast like a dinner for like her birthday
like begged her and she was like no like she just like where she like she's so stubborn she flat out
like refuses and one of the hard things like growing up she was always kind of the one that
kind of she struggled a lot when she was a kid like in school and like things like that like
she always fell a little bit behind and emotionally as well there was never like a diagnosis yeah for
like what she was dealing with at the time or what she has continued to deal with but growing up like
we were always told and even i was told even though i was younger than her that there would
be a time where like it would feel like emotionally like i might kind of surpass her in terms of like
maturity and that like we need to look out for her and like protect her and like do that and it's
like now it seems like obviously she's an adult she's full functioning she's a mom she can hold
a job she doesn't need our like our guidance in that kind of way yeah it's yeah it's definitely
like daunting to think about like how to like get her getting her away from that and like how to
but yeah like you said like maybe kind of going more of the Nicole route of like peacekeeping
and maybe not also just resolution the hardest part is like with my parents like I feel like
I have to keep it such a secret because like yeah especially like with my mom and like I live with
my parents like my husband and I like it's purely out of like a financial like that's probably
another piece of it too you live with it yeah gotta be a huge piece of it yeah so because of
that it's like not that my mom would make me feel guilty but like you'd feel guilty yeah so I feel
so guilty because they like she just wants to talk to her daughter like she just doesn't want
like she wants to understand like what's going on here so it's like I would just frame it for
yourself of thinking of it as the greater good that like you are doing it for your parents your
parents haven't found a way to get through to her and it hasn't worked and like what you're gonna do
it's not gonna make it worse nothing's gonna make it worse like it's trying something else out now
and if your parents were able to like be involved in this and know everything about it then like
it would spook her and also like right now this she doesn't want to have a relationship with your
parents and like that is something that like is obviously it's not and i think like knowing that
it's not and i don't think you think this but i think that there's something that you might
they're a subconscious part of you might think that your parents think this that estrangement's
not contagious because one kid was estranged yeah that now they're worried about her and i think
that may be part of the reason why you feel like you have to tell them is because you want to
reassure them that like it's not going to happen to you too that's it's just not how it works like
there's just different people i think your oldest sister like that is a that sounds like a mental
health thing and it also sounds like mental health's playing a part in uh tabitha with all of
this but i would say like because you live with your parents and she can't really get away from
her family i would start with like sending funny tiktoks this reminded me of you or like sending
something like all of that kind of stuff and then i would like you know send some flowers on a
saturday when you know she's cleaning or just be like hey like i'm just pop by like i know that
today's like your ketchup cleaning day do you want me to like take the kids out for ice cream for a
bit so like you can have some space like just anything that involves that like just inserting
yourself into the like just inserting yourself there and even if it's like hey you showing up
and being like hey i made way way way too many brownies like i cannot eat all of these like i'm
dropping them off on the porch or like are you home can i bring them to you like but not even
asking permission to like hey can i bring these by hey i'm outside i have these brownies like yeah
are you here like i want to give these to you or like i have something i don't really want to leave
it on the porch or i'll just leave it on the porch anything like that and like not necessarily
expecting that that one action will lead to her being like oh come inside let's talk but knowing
that like you just need to identify yourself as like a non-threatening safe person and like
And I know this sounds, like, weird, but, like, I do think sometimes with these kinds of things, thinking of it like Scientology, and if you've ever seen, like, Leah Remini, like, talk about, like, or, like, Katie Holmes getting out of Scientology, like, playing a role, playing a part and playing, like, the long game of being, like, I need to deceive you into trusting me so you can, like, start to trust yourself again.
because like you're not trusting yourself like you are you are you're being manipulated and
controlled and like that's it's a long it's a long game and it might take a while on the
front of the long game though like with the guilt for your parents think of it that way too that
like this is a long game eventually we'll be i'll be able to tell them what's going on and bring
them into the fold but for right now i just need her to trust me and then once she trusts me
eventually they'll be part of yeah you're like a spy you're undercover this is a secret mission
and like you have to save the world and like that everybody will understand once you get to that but
like there are nobody else has tried this yet and i think to me that's like the the thing if
if you are if you have the capacity to try this i think nicole is trying what nicole can think to do
And I think that that's just trying to maintain contact in any way. But like if we can you can see the pattern and the recognition really definitely comes from I think it's a combination of it's her husband. I think that there might be some neurodivergence or anxiety, depression, mental health aspects of it, which in general, people get targeted for that to be in abusive relationships because like it makes them think more manipulate easier to be manipulated.
It's funny.
I was, I guess for me, I was putting more onus on her because I was like, all these
words are coming out of her mouth.
But at the same time, it's kind of, I have, I know who she's, I know what kind of person
she's living with.
You know what I mean?
Does she have any friends?
She has, yeah, she has friends.
Like, she has, like, very great friends.
Like, they exchange, you know, babysitting, things like that.
She has, like, that kind of community.
So there's that there.
So, yeah, I think, yeah, I think your guys' advice is really helpful.
and just kind of trying to like almost kind of like breadcrumb her like out of like yeah out of
it and like hoping that like that'll get somewhere i feel like texting her and kind of just going down
that route might be the easiest totally to just kind of make it feel like non-threatening so yeah
i mean i really appreciate all your guys's like input and like the insight because it's really
helpful especially when like there's so many family members have so many different opinions
yeah it's a lot of everyone's torn and up yeah it's too many people and it's like i sit here
and i talk to my husband and i'm just like i can't like i can't untangle this what do i do
Yeah. So I really appreciate your time with this, like genuinely. Of course. Thank you so much for joining us. We really appreciate you being vulnerable and sharing that information. And I hope that thing. No, not hope. It will. It will. Everything will get better. Everything will get better. We just have to be patient and wait and everything will work itself out.
And if anybody has any personal experience or any additional advice that either helped them get through it from if you were the sister in the situation or if you if you're any sister in the situation, like you're or someone close to it.
If you went through it personally or watch someone go through it by proxy, we obviously gave some advice for that.
But if you have any additional one, I'm sure they'd love to hear it.
Yeah.
All right.
We're going to take a break and then Megan's going to tell us a story.
Mm hmm.
we're back i got a text message on this past weekend and it's um or it was earlier than that
and i had to catch up on them and it is a screen recording of like a story of someone talking about
something i'm like oh my god this is so iconic this is so great and then it's a screenshot of
a video of nick from love island okay and the text comes along with from my friend saying spent
the weekend with this nick guy from love is blind he was super nice from love is blind yeah and they
said and he says i know his girlfriend alandria is stunning but i actually didn't know that they
were blind another friend says i have to remind myself that love is blind is not about blind
people and this other friend says it's not i know his girlfriend alandria is stunning but i didn't
know that they were blind and it's a i just found they're not blind love is blind is not about blind
people falling in love and i said baby that is nick from love island i can't believe you didn't
tell me sooner i was a day one nicolandria stan to the point where when we went to a sparks game
someone came up to me and i said and said i love your tiktoks about nicolandria and then he says
are you oh my god of course you're a fan and they were like had absolutely no idea and was basically
saying like oh he was like so lovely and so nice and then i guess like this because they were
it was for work and so there was like a brand activation and whatever like captions on instagram
pictures and all that stuff and so then it started everyone like the video that the initial video
that they had sent was of someone being like oh my god i'm obsessed with this brand like they're
doing they're being so funny like with nick all of that and i'm like you don't even know what you
were like you fully just were this is how you funny you are point blank you didn't even know
how funny you were being and everyone's like loving loving their work it's like oh my god
he's such a great guy and i'm like i can't believe you were with nick from love highland and you
didn't tell me granted you did tell me later after it happened but you did say love is blind
incredible and i was just like oh my god i had so many questions for him and alandria do you see her
at the vanity fair oscars party i did oh and she was she was in the photo booth and it was her first
time there and everyone who's like right by watching her take pictures being like here hold
my oscar for the picture so she's like holding other people's oscars in the photo because they
were like dude she's like no no it's okay and they're like no no come on get the real experience
and i was like i just i love her to death um you know we talked about how white people smell like
milk yeah did i tell you or like wet dog after it rained yeah but that one's not applicable to
what i'm about to say focusing on the milk part okay did you know that like the new hottest trend
in perfume is milk scented perfume and i how does trend among white i was about to say as far as
i've seen the people who tend to gravitate towards it seem to be the most looking like me and it's
like this whole thing and i'm like laughing because i'm like i have like a um i forget it's
like a milky kind of perfume whatever it doesn't smell like milk it smells like um i don't know
like a warm vanilla kind of like creamy vanilla smell and and i'm like oh i like it but every time
i look at these videos of people being like just looking for milk fragrances looking for milk
fragrances i'm like laughing to myself because i'm like has nobody had conversation i need to go
get some my foundation is running out so i need to go get some this weekend so i'm going to find
some to smell it and then report back because i'm sure it's disgusting well i just keep thinking
that like now every person who said that white people smell like milk it says now now now they're
spraying it on themselves it's a purposeful smell yeah and now it's gonna be damn i said
white people smelled like milk before they smell even milkier now oh my gosh uh i thought a few
thank you my i this was a very full weekend i had like sorority meeting on saturday morning
starting at nine and then afterwards i had new members to the chapter meeting i'm like
I've been in a sorority for over 20 years I think I'm good but I still went because I had to go
yep and then after Samantha and I went to a spa which for my birthday like this was a birthday
weekend too I love that and so we went to a spa that I don't usually go to not the one that I
usually go to we went to one and it was lovely like it is so beautiful we should go but they
have like pools and they have the things that the most well-known spa has but that's here in la korean
spa but it's so even though they just they just open like portion of it up to men the majority
of it is still women's only so it doesn't smell like little boys like the other yeah famous one
does in la and also like your cell phone doesn't work in there so nobody's on their phones it's
just lovely it was great i had we both got deep tissue massages which were incredible um so i love
that i love having just a relaxing weekend that's so nice yeah that's so so so lovely i could use
i could use a massage you've seen twilight right um i've seen it wasn't it one of the the seizure
movies it is the seizure movie not one of the seizure movie when my sister had a seizure it
came okay so this is the story i don't know if i've told you the full story yeah no the house
burning down well that this was after this was a little bit after um so initial found out about
the seizures because the house burned down but this was a later seizure okay so actually no no
no no it was a later seizure later so but it was maybe like a week later yeah so the comfort movie
yes so she melanie had her seizure we found out she has epilepsy well i don't think it had been
officially diagnosed yet but has epilepsy she was 16 at the time peak twilight time for her
she read all the books numerous times and she is such a book reader as it is like she reads
like three books in a week not so much now since she has children but like she's very much she
probably still reads but just probably like hop popped on scott what are those ones
what's that dr seuss like pop oh no her kids are older than that no no but i was saying when you
probably slowed down when she had kids not for a while because like she had to read them those
books yeah yeah yeah um but she likes she likes those yeah i know i know those types i know yeah
yep yep yeah so she was very much into twilight saw the movie like very much there so when she
had her seizure i didn't know at the time but her ex-boyfriend i had let him know what was
happening but i didn't realize that he was now her ex-boyfriend yeah and so i told him and he came
and then her current boyfriend who is also her husband now also showed up so it was very awkward
because i didn't know what was going on she didn't tell me so but they both got her twilight movies
oh i didn't know they brought yeah they bought they both brought it did anyone bring the deluxe
because that's how i'd make my choice no but i don't think it might have been before the deluxe
because it was like like this movie was freshly out yeah so then afterwards i like stayed with
her because i i was yep that makes sense i had just graduated from college so i didn't have i
didn't have anything to do all day and so um i was with her but all she wanted to watch was twilight
but she was sleeping most of the day so it would go so she would go to sleep but then like would
want it to still be on when she woke up yeah so i was just sitting there watching her while
twilight was on so i've seen that movie a million times i have a question for you and then i want
you to relay it to her because i saw a tiktok of this and it killed me because i was like wait this
is so funny i've never thought about it like this why do you think alice cullen didn't stop 9-11
and someone said she's a huge fan of that um my chemical is it my chemical romance what's the band
that was created because of 9-11 band created because of 9-11 it's like a butterfly effect
it wasn't like they saw yeah i remember make it yeah my chemical romance stop oh my god on the
my chemical romance subreddit i just looked up my i looked up band starting because of 9-11 and
one of the first results is a reddit post in the my chemical romance subreddit
please stop celebrating 9-11 oh my god yeah i mean there's a lot of questions that i think about
not just that but like when it comes to movies where i'm tracking history i'm like
why didn't the wakandans step in during civil rights era like where were they for during the
apartheid i think that was um i'm now i'm saying the name that is it's killmonger right yeah that
was yeah that was his argument yeah he was like and they were like no defense but you actually
don't you're right yep that we my bad that was my dad and i'm really that was my bad yep that was
fucked up um but i bought just a whole breakdown of it being like why did alice cullen not like do
you think she invested in the stock market because like anytime it can tie back to the fact that they
have like so much money i know they've been alive forever but like okay um but when you all tie it
back to like the author stephanie meyer writing jasper one of the other siblings as a confederate
soldier um who like her man loved facts yes who loved serving the country love serving his country
yeah i mean obviously those two are problematic yeah no so it makes so much sense when it's like
oh she didn't stop 9-11 it's like well of course because her murder and war obsessed husband was
like no do you think he i bet he went front he was probably like i don't like since he fought
in the civil war which i know they were getting like 15 year olds to fight in the civil war like
he's choosing to be in high school all of them i mean i know factually they were over 18 but
all of them they could have just said they were 18 and been working like citizens that just work
you know but no they chose to be high school students i think that's like a carlisle thing
of like trying to keep him out of trouble because he goes let's just send emmet big old emmet with
his with his plastic bag full of eggs and like we'll send them to high school to like keep them
go to college busy that was my fucking question and also like so then you can be with people that
are like you know i mean besides them i know they're all dating within the circle but like
they can be with at least adults well and they also don't have to pretend that they're all
siblings who are fucking each other right they could just like be a couple they could be mormon
like rosalie could definitely rosalie and emmet definitely could be mormon like and yeah we're
just like married young and we live together but also i'm like so now that bella's in the picture
and the whole thing was like we have to blend in so we have to like join a community go to high
school and do all of that stuff and like so at that point like does bella go back to high school
right but like she has a child with renezbe so like are they growing up what is what is do we
move on now no just be 20 year olds renezbe has to be homeschooled yeah because she
doesn't she like rapidly age and then stops when she's like i don't know legal
age it's one of those things like on a technicality that's like it's not benjamin button
but it's like disgusting yeah it's nasty it's nasty um but i just thought damn like there's
so many things that alice cullen could have stopped that she chose not to but like she
desperately has to be involved in all these vampire business maybe the excuse will be like
we don't even you think 9-11 was bad you don't even know what's happening with vampires at that
dime and i'm like man i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know they're like vampires did
9-11 that's what so maybe maybe it was something worse and then she says i in in order to fix
everything i actually have to crash those planes i blame alice cullen that flippy little hair
should never try like that's how you know that and the fact not even sorry not terrible wig
terrible wigs because every movie they gave him a new one which was somehow worse yeah
i just the thick the way that the way that they gave uh rosalie that thick thick wig with all
that hair she had under it just sitting on top of her actual hair and you can see it it was the
forehead is crazy like it's objectively her hair like four inches above it's so insane
but mr fantastic is there what from superman who's he the black main man no who is he in
in twilight that's the black man that's there that has not in the i don't think he's in the
first one but he has locks there's not i mean no then he would only be in the first one
oh okay i forgot where he is so it's there's only like isn't mr fantastic pedro pascal
oh no um mr wonderful that's that's shark tank
do they not have real names in fantastic four superman hold on oh superman not fantastic four
no you brought up fantastic four i said because i looked at mr terrific
fantastic wonderful terrific yeah but but mr fan mr
yeah mr fantastic is in fantastic four that's why i got confused and he is and i'm picturing
pedro pascal with like locks and i was like what speaking of his hair i hate his mustache being
gone no i know it's for a role but i hate it i hate it so much it's like they took it and divvied
it up between other men who like can't grow facial hair so that they gave timothy chalamet a little
bit and then they give leo a little bit more i gotta say he looks better with the little mustache
no i saw someone who was like what did they do to leo's face in the span of like 60 days like
he looks like a whole new man he does and i'm like do you think that was just like a lymphatic
drainage massage or like a gua sha or like he was fighting some like infection that he was on a
steroid for or like something but i was when i saw that i was like it's like they took pedro pascal's
mustache but then they had like oh we still have a little some remnants let's give that to timothy
chalmers and timothy they took the the his chin hairs and put it on timothy chalamet and took his
mustache and put it on on leo yep yep yep but wow i don't like it without it i need i i need it
there. I just can't reckon
like to me. I mean I saw him
I was like that's him but
I didn't like it. He played Laurent
that's what I thought. Okay.
That's the first movie.
Actually he might be in more than one.
I think he's in more than one. I feel like
when were they fighting with the big
animals? That was later.
That was later. Yeah.
He was there wasn't he?
Honestly they all
smushed together.
He's in
there's always one we skip so i don't know what happened okay and there's one that melanie doesn't
like so when i went back in most that was like february two years ago when she had those repeated
seizures we went through all of them because and skipped the one she hated yeah which i think is
the one or the second the one that jacob is second okay yeah i've never seen that one so
based on her book preferences she would like she would without a doubt be an edward girl like i had
no doubt about that but i accidentally skipped the third movie twice when we're doing a whole
rewatch of mods i like forgot existed and i was like oh oops we missed that and crazy it doesn't
change that much of the plot like the fact that i could you could skip an entire twilight movie
and like still follow is a little crazy speaking of tv shows i do need to recommend something to
everyone um and it felt very fitting because we watched it right before and during uh st patrick's
day how to get to heaven from belfast and it is fantastic it's the same creator who did dairy
girls and it's like if dairy girls grew up and had to like solve a murder but it's it's very good
and it's very weird and fun and i enjoy it and yeah oh my god and i also went to that miniature
train model train museum do you see that my story you know i'm not on instagram as much as i used to
spent absolute hours i recommend everyone to go it is the pasadena model railroad
museum um it's in alhambra it's not it's not i don't even know i think it's in pasadena on
a technicality i think it used to be in pasadena um but get there early because we thankfully got
there like 10 minutes before it opened and we were like okay but we also had an in because
one of the guys that mods works for he volunteers there and we got you take the children no
mods uncle was in town but to be fair i found this on tiktok like six months ago and they only
do it one day a month no yeah one day a month and i told mods i'm like we gotta go i love trains
um and so information oh i've always loved why do you think i like the polar express so much
i love trains and snow um but we go and so he is this guy who works for him and we got such
preferential treatment to the point where like these other patrons were looking at us going what
the fuck and then he was apologizing being like you know if it wasn't so crazy like i'd be able
to like let you like come back here and like you know move all that i go i think we'd have eggs
thrown at us by the other people here but it was so fucking cool i just yeah recommend anyone to
go it was just like epic like i loved it it was so impressive and it's been around since like
the 30s or the 40s when trains were popular yeah and like every single person who like it's a
it's all a volunteer basis it's all men and it's all old white men who all used to work either like
in trains or like aerospace or like all of this stuff so like it's a specific archetype archetype
And when I was talking about how cool this was and I asked if they decorate for Christmas, like it'd be so cool to like, you know, add little wreaths.
And they're like, no, it's a great idea. You should volunteer.
And I was with Mott's and his uncle. I'm surrounded by all these men going, you should.
And I go, no, I'm not joining a club with all these men.
You could break barriers.
That's what Mott said. And I said, I don't want to do that.
That sounds like a, that's learning curve.
And I'm not sure I'm ready to not be offended by some of the things I say.
You could get a group of women that also love it and then do it.
Like you can create a club and then do it.
Safety in numbers.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I'm like, I don't really want to be just a constant teaching moment.
That's volunteer work.
That's not, they'd have to waive my fee, my monthly fee.
But it was very cool.
So I would recommend people, we'll have to take, we will take the kids next time.
It was pretty cool.
I'll show you a picture.
But it doesn't even look real.
I know.
It's really fucking huge.
like it feels like it spans um like this is you can get for scale those are people on this side
yeah i can see them it's crazy that's why i was like it doesn't look real
