Starting point is 00:00:00 and that's why i stopped playing that fucking game because i was getting so frustrated when i was literally playing all day i only got one goddamn five star one one five star that i didn't have none of the four stars i don't have like the four star gold i don't have but of course multiples of the gold i already fucking have that last one before i quit like i've been i just don't understand how i finished so early the first very first round of stickers i finished so early and i started later because i wasn't playing the game yet and you also started later but like i finished it and then that last one it was like the day of and i was like you know what i'm done no i'm so mad i can't even figure out which fucking five star i got megan's playing monopoly
Starting point is 00:00:53 ago i quit it about a month ago at this point you know and i'm i'm happy for you because this has been a stressful time you know but i'm caring about it less and less which is the goal good because but i need to find other things to care about more you know because when you start caring about everything a little less and less you go uh-oh shouldn't get down this road me last month yeah yeah no that has been me this month it's just been like whatever who cares and i'm thinking you you we should but in that rush of things that's when i quit the games so maybe it'll be good because they were making me mad and so it was like this is adding to my anger but i also unfollowed a whole bunch of people like i was going down she was cleared i was
Starting point is 00:01:45 clearing house i love when that happens it wasn't a good thing no no but the results afterwards when you go i actually don't sometimes you regret the decisions you make but other times you look back and you go you know that was not a good time for me but future me can look back and go maybe i was making some decisions in haste that i needed to make that took a while yeah so maybe this will be my end of monopoly so i don't know i'm sorry that i got everybody addicted to this it really is my fault no no i brought it to wholeheartedly is that's it you were in the thick of your addiction to the point where you said i need all you bitches to join so you can be my friend and then we've said okay and then we're all the crazy started and then i left i was i dipped out it's
Starting point is 00:02:31 okay a lot of some people that other people did too and you know i think i i was into sims for a long time and then i dropped off of that and now that i got a new computer maybe i can use my old one for sims i was thinking the same thing um and maybe getting one of these external hard drives that I told you about just for the Sim stuff. There's this incredible external hard drive that we ordered for putting our backup files for these shows on it, and it essentially functions like a hard drive on your computer. And so
Starting point is 00:03:09 I feel like no super unnecessary. No. For what? There's not even lights. It's stop signs. Chill. I don't think, I think they were honking for somebody to come out the house.
Starting point is 00:03:27 No. No, no, no. But like in that case, we live in the day and age where you should just text them. Yeah. Yeah, no, no, no. Takes me back to high school. Yeah. Mostly because I'd get the honks after I didn't reply to the text.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Some things never change. Well, what's, we're doing something new, right? We are doing something new. you're hearing this and you're like what's going on well actually right now you're probably like this is regular but then we're we're about to switch up on you we're switching up so what are we recording right now was that i think the votes so this is see you next tuesday and you're like yeah i know what see you next tuesday is is when y'all just talk off the cuff about nothing in particular. Yeah, it was, but things are different now because we are switching our
Starting point is 00:04:25 schedules completely. Now, Mondays will be, but am I wrong? Tuesdays will be what was formerly see you next Tuesday, but it will still be called see you next Tuesday because it's tied to a date and not a name of something, but it will be us sharing the votes from, but am I wrong? Thursdays will be don't blame me and Fridays will be what was formerly see you next Tuesday where it's just us talking and the reason we're doing that is because we usually record on a Thursday and what was formerly fisting Friday goes up the next day but usually what we're talking about is like more current and prevalent with what was 15 fisting Friday and what is but am i wrong and so we're reconstructing how the information is getting sent out and if you're a
Starting point is 00:05:21 little confused don't worry i did have to write it down just now so i make sure i get it right about what this is you'll figure it out if you like listen to all of our stuff it's none of the content itself is changing just timeline wise um and yeah like melissa said it's it sometimes we will specifically pick our but am i wrongs for things that don't feel that feel slightly more evergreen or whatever or they're a little bit later on that kind of thing and like specifically with like you were saying this is melissa's genius fucking idea but with like the olympics and stuff that is and like the election and everything coming up like that is stuff that you know if you are also listeners or watchers of the do we know them podcast you'll know that like they
Starting point is 00:06:05 literally sometimes like half of their videos talking about a story is like lily or jesse coming back with voiceover editing all of the stuff that has been updated in that because it's like been a while since that has happened um and we have four episodes a week so we can't we can't we can't do that and so having it be more pertinent i think will work wonderful work better and you can always just like switch them up and listen listen to them on whatever days you want you already probably do yeah and um we have mentioned we've been mentioning for a while that their change is coming and they are coming they're slowly coming i don't think we ever even talked about the fact that we officially have a business now yeah people are gonna be like
Starting point is 00:06:50 you didn't have a business before no we had separate entities yeah but now we have a joint venture and uh it was it took us a while and also you might be wondering what about that merch so this was actually the step we had to do before we did the merch um because taxes and if you need further elaboration unfortunately i'm not actually going to be able to explain it to you because it is too goddamn fucking confusing um but uh yeah that it's we're we're we're not like you cleared house of your of of shit we are we are um our houses are linking up we're becoming a blended family yes we are have you ever seen the movie blended no drew barrymore doing what she does get back to her acting get back to that fucking acting game girl adam sandler call your friend up
Starting point is 00:07:39 put her in a goddamn movie he's like no i only work with jennifer aniston i know which fine but no switch it up switch up your you could have different hot wives you're an actor that's literally your job multiple hot wives and if you have the poll might i also suggest one of my favorite underrated actresses cameron diaz get get her out of retirement she's out of retirement with jamie foxx remember oh my god melissa i forgot no i i i did forget and it's because i get too excited like they're making the best movie of all time two of my two of my legitimate favorites. So can't fucking wait for that one. Anyways, so this is us reading and revealing the vote, revealing, so dramatic, the votes, the results of last week's episode. This was episode
Starting point is 00:08:32 107. I apologize for the votes to go up a little bit. They were going up a little bit late. My in-laws were in town um and i didn't get a lot of stuff like we got stuff done like at the house but like i personally did not get a lot of work done yeah that's like my mom's like i need like four day vacation i was like don't come here because i just because you're on vacation doesn't mean i'm on vacation no but then suddenly you're on vacation by proxy i know like that doesn't work i don't have time for that right now all right i said that uh don't be a greedy bitch and pay people what they're worth specifically was talking about this dude that picks up dead bodies in his county um and 100 of people said i was not wrong yeah i decided to go with like
Starting point is 00:09:27 the cash because i thought like a dead body or like um like a a hearse or anything i couldn't find a like class a tasteful way i know a tasteful way that you could have used the grim reaper no that's not tasteful okay nope there is um a new tyler perry movie that's out and the opening scene starts with them taking a body out of the casket and removing it from a funeral and it's got the internet all in tizzy so that would have been a way to use it that's on me i actually really should be using the rolodex of tyler perry content because i do think it might fit all of the niche images i am looking for yeah so i don't support that man but whatever um i supported him when he um supported the markles and by the markles i do not mean
Starting point is 00:10:19 the father i mean daughter markle my sister sorority sister kkg uh and her redheaded husband whatever his name is megan markel and megan markel's husband yeah um someone said definitely not wrong at all especially for a job that has crazy hours like that if i was him i would have done the exact same thing and stayed my ass at home until it was time to clock in someone else said as a broke nanny who has literally no benefit say it louder for the people in the fucking back yep then mine megan thinks billboard needs to cap chart rankings five percent said i was wrong and 95 said i was not wrong i'm gonna guess that 13 people who said i was wrong um would feel very differently if it was skewed in a different direction
Starting point is 00:11:10 you know i i gotta say that because i don't know that anyone like unless you're the one benefiting from it you know i mean like it's just as a whole but also some of you probably voted wrong i don't want to like automatically assign that to you it's 100 on the one before well unless we know that people feel the need or they know that some when they know they really can't vote wrong they don't like you like some of you are like shit i voted wrong you guys somehow never vote wrong when it's something real bad okay Melissa is trying to drink and it's spilling out of her mouth and just out the little dribble is weird so someone said as someone who works in the music industry it's really frustrating to see this happen and I hope there is a cap slash stop to
Starting point is 00:11:57 truly allow new artists or just other artists in general really have their moment also the side of the industry I work in deals with physical media and licensing them so when multiples of everything come out we have to draw straws about who will doing be doing 30 versions of the same thing over and over and over again like every bundle with a shirt sweater all of us were broken down by individual sizes and whatnot it makes your eyes cross sometimes i never thought about that part definitely not wrong at all it's wild to think they don't already have this kind of system in place it's not fair at all to smaller artists who don't have the reach or resources to do this and honestly like megan said the look of doing this comes off very desperate and makes it seem like
Starting point is 00:12:33 there's no confidence in the things that she's already released i'm all for getting your bag but not at the expense of other artists who are just doing what they love and trying to make a name for themselves yeah that's like the one thing like the thing i would say if like i was on her like advisory team or whatever that it's like there is a i think effort is really cool like when people like will say to me and not that i'm comparing myself to her whatsoever but like someone will say like oh my god you're really funny or like that was really funny i'm like thanks i try like i think like this whole thing of being like oh effortlessly good effort whatever like I think it's not true I think it's cool to want to try um and that is you know like the fake
Starting point is 00:13:13 humility that some people have when they win awards or whatever big who me or whatever versus like Miley Cyrus who's like I worked really hard for this and I I deserve this um I love that and Taylor Swift's like she's gotten a lot of criticism for being um calculating and she was like I think I'm a good business person like I don't think you would call a man calculating I so agree with that right but i think there is a like you then need to like stand by your business skills and stand by your talent in a way that it's like there needs to there needs to be more confidence there because saying that you're confident about it and then having other actions that undermine what that confidence is like that's not a good look whatsoever um and
Starting point is 00:13:55 it's crazy because like her best performing albums critically and all of that stuff are the ones that she took the beyonce route of of just dropping the album not saying anything like not telling anyone and they did so incredibly well and they did well really critically and nobody at that time was like no this album was not that good or like she shouldn't have got an album of the year of that like people were like no no this one was fucking amazing and then it seems like you would think that you would try and recreate that instead of like whatever we're trying to recreate right now um and yeah it's just it's not a good it's not a good look for somebody who has been doing this for this long and is this successful and like is objectively talented at whatever I mean
Starting point is 00:14:41 I I think she's a great singer she's a great songwriter but whatever people whatever people want whatever people think like she wouldn't have gotten this far if people didn't like her so I'm like you could do anything there's no need to be desperate like you don't need it at all so that's it for this one i think all right the next one controversial was it writer number one are they wrong for being offended when people ask if they hooked up with the roommate this was 50 50 and exactly the same amount of votes for both i just saw that a true split down the middle uh-huh someone said honestly i think being offended is a bit much for
Starting point is 00:15:29 just frequency of people asking but i think there were always follow-up questions which is uncalled for and i would be offended at that point someone else said the writer is definitely not wrong for feeling a type of way whenever people ask that question because if you have explained it multiple times it can be annoying but like you guys said it makes me wonder why it wasn't brought up in the first place if it's not that big of deal. And because it's not that common, I feel as if it's worth to let somebody know you don't have to make a big deal of it, but mention it. The earliest helps build trust and longer you go without mentioning it, the more sketchy it seems. Yeah, I agree with that wholeheartedly. Then we've writer number two. Are they wrong for
Starting point is 00:16:10 firing their relative who isn't doing summer activities as their children's babysitter? 20% said the writer is wrong 80% said the writer is not wrong only wrong if they communicated what the job was and the relative failed to do the job something tells me though they did a lot of assuming because it wasn't mentioned what was expected of the relative
Starting point is 00:16:28 someone else said I put the writer is wrong but kind of depends on how they are paying her and what the expectations were set ahead of time if she's being paid nanny wages and was giving the expectations then the babysitter is wrong I agree with that someone else said kind of wrong
Starting point is 00:16:44 just not for setting expectations like you would at any job. I voted, oh, I voted wrong. Fire the relative because clearly either way they aren't being paid for what you want them to do or they're not actually keeping your kids safe. Only saying the writer is wrong because it definitely seems like the situation where expectations weren't communicated and therefore why things aren't happening the way she wants. Just like y'all said, she needs to be paying her an adult livable wage and if she can't afford to do that, then maybe it's time to enroll her kids in summer camp and let her aunt stay with her until she gets back on her feet and just helps around the house it's a good compromise
Starting point is 00:17:16 and then we have wrong of the week judge brian lavelle level also his ancient uh lawyer was uh needed you all to post in there because i wasn't sure if you all were going to look up despite the fact that i demanded that you look up how old his lawyer was i need you to know that i wasn't just being an asshole that like i that this is actually like somewhat somewhat of a medical marvel yeah um if you watch on the video version on patreon there were images of him put up as well someone said i hate every time oklahoma is brought up on the pot it's never for anything good but tbh considering we have kevin shit as our governor or whatever the fuck he does it says dice so i know it was in your heart uh there's maybe a pinch a pinch instead of a handful
Starting point is 00:18:14 of people in politics in oklahoma that are somewhat redeemable but not many at all someone else said i live in oklahoma and didn't know this story but when you mentioned ray don smith i knew he was a piece of crap hope they rot they both rot yeah so unfortunately oklahoma you're right now you actually have been the new florida of our podcast you have been so florida consider this your break i hope you guys are good hope you're relaxing and you know who knows maybe kentucky will pop up maybe we'll have an alabama moment like maybe someone else will take the cake of the state that just is getting wrong after wrong so oklahoma this is your time but just know it'll be someone else's time soon soon maybe and you also again you've
Starting point is 00:19:07 produced the musical oklahoma which oklahoma well i don't remember much about it but i remember being in sixth grade and i think i liked it so and i like that song it gives me the same vibe as like i love musical songs about places so like good morning baltimore like i love great song great fucking song all the songs in that are great true true true true true but not your favorite musical your favorite musical greece live well grace for greece as a whole yeah but then greece live why did you text me that by the way for maybe for girls night oh oh my god they're showing it at wait what the movie not the movie not no no no the movie i would i'd watch it i like that movie too and so samantha was like i don't know if you'd want to do this and then i
Starting point is 00:19:55 I sent you the message because I was going to screenshot – well, I still ended up screenshotting it. Yeah, it's funny. To show her how much I loved it. But you didn't answer correctly on the first time. Well, I forget that that's a music – because I was thinking Broadway musical, which it is technically a Broadway musical,
Starting point is 00:20:11 but it was a movie first. So, yeah. No, it was a musical musical first, I think. I don't think so. Because it was like a lot more – like the original – was it broadway is a lot more sexual than it came out in 1971 the movie came out in 78 okay because i've heard the actual um musical is a lot more sexual okay because i saw the movie first
Starting point is 00:20:45 so i think of even even rent i have to remind myself is not a movie musical like that i don't even think that was my first guess because i saw the movie like that was my note like thought of it um but yeah i forgot that that i didn't even i forgot that it was like on broadway not that it matters because like it's the movie but i should have known i should have fucking known because you loved that live one and then casey loved um that fucking julianne huff footloose movie that no one saw and she's like that's my favorite and like both you and her like have these like niche favorite uh or you both enjoyed like niche renditions of something yes we both have kind of similar personalities without a doubt
Starting point is 00:21:34 so yeah literally without a doubt i probably would love the footloose one too no you would and you you know what she also loves that you might love she loves the b movie the what the b movie i don't know why but she's sexually attracted to that b i don't know i'll have to ask is that is that who jerry seinfeld plays i don't know but i need less of him and i needed less of him like probably 20 years ago yeah so i don't if he is the i know he is a voice in that film i believe i don't know so if he is a main b i will never be if he's the queen b is that what you're saying yeah he is i don't yeah i actually could never be physically sexually attracted to his voice him and his friends including chris rocker in it oh my god but also
Starting point is 00:22:30 like renee zellweger and john goodman and larry king and oprah winfrey and megan mullally are in i'm sorry oprah's not playing queen bee that's actually offensive she's playing a judge judge bumbleton sick i bet casey also likes um boss baby that's like a casey bot like she just like would pick movies that people are like this is stupid and she's like i've decided i'm gonna like this because everyone else hates it whoever brian hopkins is his image is boss baby and he is also in the b movie oh okay icon i don't know why on google his image is boss baby that seems like someone who's got a great relationship with google and said switch it up throw that up in there okay then we have my wrong of the week i nominated matthew and alissa
Starting point is 00:23:19 roboletsky 99 said the roboletskys are wrong one percent said they're not wrong and i assume that that one was an accident vote because they killed the baby so someone said the go fund me what taken from us too soon these are in quotes taken us from too soon quote why did this have to happen sounds like someone needs some serious time for self-reflection because the call is literally coming from inside the house as a new mom to a one-year-old girl hearing this story made me sick to my stomach i think i speak for a majority of good moms when i say from the moment your baby is born there is a constant anxiety of something out of your control harming or even taking your child's life so for this to happen when the parents had complete control of
Starting point is 00:24:01 the situation it should be 100 be considered criminal but as history has shown cops don't even do time for killing complete strangers so shrug my heart breaks for that baby and the other child who are still in the care of these negligent people r.i.p sweet girl someone else just said this is disgusting i can't even fathom how people are defending them this sweet baby deserves so much more and these parents need to rot in hell yep agree with it wholeheartedly um and cps is obviously so far from being a perfect system um but i really with these things that being public obviously so hard for the kids when they grow up and they like realize like holy shit this is like what my parents did and it's recorded and all that stuff um but so much horrible things happen
Starting point is 00:24:47 behind closed doors that like at least with this the i don't think the public is ever going to forget this and i think these parents will be frequently visited by cps or at least frequently have calls in on them from like complete strangers who are just thinking about the well-being of their living child because fuck yeah and these goddamn photo oh hate them hate them hate them this is the time i would like to bring back whatever those um you know people talk about like metaphorical pitchforks i would like to bring back like the pitchforks with fire on them and i would like to like knock on their house and being like oh no are those the those are those tiki yeah oh let's take that back oh i'm taking that back i saw it in a cartoon yeah that's what i'm
Starting point is 00:25:35 realizing the right thing that was yeah they're using it uh-huh i would like to bring back did you see the look on my face and i went oh because i'm picturing it like a car it's like a i don't know like a cartoon beauty and the beast when they go yeah but that's the origin of it of course it is Megan why wouldn't it be but like I I would like to go to uh I would like to instill knocking on people's doors and going like as a community we've decided that you people who have killed your baby citizens arrest you actually have to leave like the if I were if I was like in uh run them out of town yeah like governor or anything like in like Havasu or whatever I'm Like, you're actually the worst PR ever, like, for, you know, Oklahoma.
Starting point is 00:26:21 That's what you got to do. You got to knock on those people's doors. You got to get out. You're really ruining our image right now. You're really taking us down. But, like, this is when I'm like, I don't know. I could never, like, just live in peace next to neighbors like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:36 You know? But then some people don't blame them. Yeah. And people will defend that because they're like, well. accident and they didn't mean to do it disgusting yeah disgusting which i know they didn't mean to but like intentions aren't everything you did it you shouldn't have had your child out there you took a what i would assume they say is a calculated risk but you did the math wrong like it's just not you also cannot calculate a risk for somebody else and when you as a parent you
Starting point is 00:27:09 have to and so therefore that's why like usually parents are overly cautious of that because like you it's hard to calculate a risk for you have to calculate someone else's risk and decide that for them so it's better to be far more conservative on that than like they'll be fine yeah reminds me of this like current uh trend or this thing i've been seeing um of this guy who took his wife who has sickle cell anemia to hike like a mountain and if you have sickle cell anemia and you have uh altitude you can just straight up drop dead and he's like filming her like laughing at her like struggling and she's like essentially slipping in and out of she's like not doing well and all of these people who like work in like whitewater rafting or they work in like like um park ranger
Starting point is 00:27:50 esque things they were like women no matter how much you love your partner or your husband do not let them take you to the woods don't let them take you on any of these kinds of adventures or whatever because they are not the risk they calculate for your life is not the risk that should be calculated like so many women go with like men that they trust and like these men view women as like oh my god like dramatic or whatever that is and like or even just not knowing how their bodies are different and then you die and like and it's like they're like don't go on hikes on dates which i was like yeah and we need to i need a psa to have more in la for that like i even fucking runyon there's a like schwab like the finance company commercial that is on
Starting point is 00:28:33 ad that is on tiktok right now and they're trying to make it look like just like a regular tiktok video but it's like schwab and it's this guy just like on a a jog and then this person is doing like a man on the street interview like asking how many dates have you taken on a hike and the guy that's running is like none i always swipe away from it when it after that so i don't know what the conclusion of the video is but like that should be the that should be the answer you should not be going on dates especially with a stranger yeah but like i just cannot stress it uh enough and even like there are so like i love the men in my life i've said so many times these fucking bitches took me on a hike to catalina and lied about how long we were going
Starting point is 00:29:26 to be there and like some might say i'm dramatic dare i say i think i'm not dramatic enough because i was like i can't do the heat for this long this is pre-pots but i was like i cannot do the heat for this long i don't feel that well and it was like you'll be fine you'll be fine and they're like lying about how long it's going to take and at one point i threw up all over myself and then i said you bitches have to hike with me as i have what looks like baby barf all over the front of my shirt like there's just a you know this whole like thing of like powering it through and like you'll be fine or whatever and like no but yeah the amount of people i know like oh yeah like or even like when you're on like people are on dating apps being like yeah they asked me like go on a
Starting point is 00:30:00 hike and i was like so they can push you off a cliff like why right la stop doing that like truly stop fucking no even if it's crowded no no no no no no no no and maybe it's because i grew up near the golden state killer who was killing people on hikes but like as the name suggests exactly i also like i don't want you to kill me on the hike that we're on but also i don't know you enough to know that like you're not the idiot in the horror movie if the golden state killer comes and like we're gonna be on the right side of or if we see a mountain lion or whatever like i don't know you well enough to know that i can like trust you in a situation that like could be life or death it's not just like go on a walk yep go to a museum like walk around the mall
Starting point is 00:30:47 buy me something i fucking love give me a pretzel actually i can't eat them but uh give me a pretzel find me a gluten-free pretzel a cinnabon like oh take me an orange julius like what happened to Chivalry. Chivalry. Pretzels. The NTM. Cinnabons. I know it's Julia's.
Starting point is 00:31:10 I'm writing that down. I have to make a graphic. Whatever happened to chivalry? Okay. Whatever happened to chivalry? Cannot spell that. I wrote chiclet. The NTM.
Starting point is 00:31:24 Well, those are the results. We hope you all enjoyed this little switch up. You'll get used to it. Don't worry. That'll become the new norm and you'll be like. Can't even remember what it used to be like. Yeah. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Exactly. Well, I think that's it. Anything else you want to add? No, I'm good. Okay. Well. All right. We'll.
Starting point is 00:31:47 We'll see you on Thursday for Don't Blame Me. Friday for Fisting Friday, which will be us catching up with each other. Monday for But Am I Wrong. And then Tuesday, you'll be right back here for See You Next Tuesday, where we'll be reading votes dude you're gonna have to do this for the next at least month thursday it's gonna take me a long time okay goodbye if it's too late or no see you next tuesday fuck yeah yeah see you next tuesday
