Starting point is 00:01:24 they were recording today and it's the day after thanksgiving and we'll get into all that because to give you a teaser i'll get here how about i do this because i don't even know this person that well so like it's gonna be like really good it's gonna be like very um vague hints so your hints to like what we're gonna talk about after are i would refer to it as a the original fuck-ass bob even though not a it's not even a bob but it is a fuck-ass bob yeah not all bobs not all fuck has bobs are bobs technically right right right right right and then it is a do it's a do it's up it's not an updo it's a do that is up yes vertically um harry hamlin uh-huh also this isn't the first thanksgiving we've spent together i don't know if you remember
Starting point is 00:02:13 last year too ma'am i actually don't remember so now i get a tease for what we're talking about after we read the results oh i can't wait oh i'm so so excited um so yeah stay tuned after we read all the results for that story because i'm now i'm very excited as well because i need to know so sorry i'm just one last one okay after we do this see you next tuesday we'll now be caught up a little bit so it's not like two weeks after it'll be just one week after for results yes until we'll see what happens around christmas because we don't know what our schedule is like yet no i have to turn my heat off come do mine too i took my beta blocker but it hasn't kicked in yet so i'm just schvitzing uh yeah i said as you were standing up come do mine too
Starting point is 00:03:07 because it is also warm in here um and i i literally turked up the heat but when i sat down i was like oh no i went up too high overcorrection i did motz will do that in the morning because he's like oh it's so cold i'm so chilly and then he fucking goes and golfs and then i wake up and i'm like okay this is fine and then i take i get out of bed and i go this is actually not fine this is sweltering and now i'm just sweating my fucking ass off how was his tournament he got um they got six points out of 50 whoa he won a hat mods went to a um amateur i forgot i told you about that he went to an amateur i forgot about it when he said it i was like oh my god he did do that he went to like an amateur golf tournament in
Starting point is 00:03:54 ohai with his friend he's making like so many golf friends like i i love that yeah that's how i will be there one day i actually hurt my hand some way i don't know how it's been masturbating like yes while my mom was here yeah um no um it's like been in so much like excruciating excruciating pain for days oh what part of your hand everything but the fingers like wrist included palm all that yeah dang yeah but i started taking msm which is a supplement like for joints and lubrication of things m yeah um and it's been working but then i'll forget to take it and then it stops working again but hey so that's at least that you know that it's working yeah and i took that when i i thought about it with the golf thing because when i played golf i
Starting point is 00:04:57 also hurt at the same time and i have to i had to take that all the time yeah i feel like if you know a supplement is working like that's amazing because i know and dieticians medical professionals you can school me mostly you might be able to school me at this point i'm like vitamin c is a lie i'm taking vitamin c because i'm sick and i'm like this will help me first of all i have to time it with my meds and like i wasn't doing it correctly and i was taking it the wrong time and it was canceling out my meds and it was like such a shit show and i was like i actually don't even know if this is doing anything vitamin c you naturally get a lot of it anyway in the things that you just eat throughout the day so like when you take a supplement it usually is just you're
Starting point is 00:05:39 just peeing it out so it doesn't really matter i think that that having like echinacea and other immunity like elderberry those things help more than just vitamin c i should do that because every time the doctor is like make sure you incorporate vitamin c and i'm like okay i've been doing that and i was like first of all that didn't stop me no from getting a sinus infection cvs makes like this immunity thing that looks like a little uh bird pellet um tiny though but those actually i find that they work better than just vitamin c i'll send you the link yeah no i'm into that yeah because i haven't been sick knock on wood i haven't been sick in over a year but i take those all the time i again i love i love my niece and nephew to death and i love mons to death but it's
Starting point is 00:06:26 it's those bitches yeah who are getting i've been around abia's child all the time and she's sick right now like every other week she's sick yeah my nephew that he he literally just got over norovirus and uh he now has an ear infection i was like fuck mons was like why don't we get ear infections as grown-ups like the tubes that's the issue it is a kid thing like kids don't really get sinus infections they get ear infections we just it moves to our sinuses yeah his will eventually move to his sinuses too yeah um okay sorry everybody that's your quick little preview tangent um and this is the who is wrong for episode 124 and i tried to make them like thanksgiving colors oh while still like being on brand because like i wasn't about to like pull out of burgundy
Starting point is 00:07:17 like that's we haven't done any dark dark but if you wanted a burgundy sweatshirt that says therapy on it you can get it right now check the link in the bio maybe you're like i'm actually more of a cool toned we've got navy there's gray there's red there's so many cute ones if you want a matching sweat set that's also there too there's three yep yep yeah and specifically Charity there's what I think you'll it like I can just already see her in it like if we had like models for it she's who I'd be like Charity's wearing the gray and the pink like that's yeah that yeah when I was making it I was like I'm picturing her wearing this like this is I'm picturing her loving it so I hope you do love it Charity okay so first up was me
Starting point is 00:08:05 Megan rants about people lying about leaving their partner if they hid that they were secretly rich i hope i worded this okay because i like was that i was i tried so many different ways and i just kept reading it out loud to myself to be like does this make sense because really what i was ranting about is a hypothetical that i also don't think is real so it is it is very um it reference it does upon itself or whatever i got it but i think uh some people were thinking this is serious with the responses that we got or one's response in particular someone said if my partner hid oh i didn't read what it was four percent said i was wrong 96 said i was not wrong honestly if my partner hid from me that they had an extensive amount of money i also wouldn't be upset i'd be
Starting point is 00:08:52 more impressed if they were to keep it from me for so long because the way i'm all up in people's business there's rarely a thing they can do without me noticing that's also that i would be like how did you keep that from me for so long the scenarios i've seen that it's always a less rich person who's been paying for the secretly rich person to finish a degree or pay more rent because a secretly rich person has a lower paying job or is even jobless it's always a detriment to the less rich person financially and mentally so i can't agree so that to me is the um the plot twist of the already fictional writing samples that people are submitting on reddit like you like i already don't think these situations are real when people are like yeah i've been
Starting point is 00:09:30 hiding the fact that i secretly inherited 150 million dollars and then when people are like then they go okay actually next time i'm gonna write this i'm gonna say that i don't have a job and my partner is paying for everything on a non-profit salary you know what i mean yes i mean like i said this is the plot of many romance novels and uh short-form drama series and that's usually what it is yeah so in those hypothetical scenarios i also don't side i mean nobody's nobody's real nobody's real in any of them but it's just one of those things they just try and make it be like okay now what if we switched the genders now let's see if people agree someone else said i asked my boyfriend and he said i don't know if i could keep that secret
Starting point is 00:10:22 for years once i knew we were together together i'd probably just tell you by going look at this house i bought for us that you can decorate however you want who's delia deets what he said delia deets style i'm like who's delia deets i'm looking at delia deets beetlejuice oh megan has never wow this is how much i was spending time with children do you how much i almost just said aunt megan doesn't know what that is oh god we don't like i don't know what that is i mean her i know katherine o'hara i've just never seen beetlejuice because it reminds me of um the mask with jim carrey which i've also yeah tried to watch because i saw cameron diaz in that dress and i said i'm obsessed with her i love her i want to watch
Starting point is 00:11:06 this movie cameron diaz was in that most that's the only thing i know because then i started the movie and i said scratch that this movie is a horror film i don't want to watch this anymore uh yeah it started out as a comic book actually he's supposed to be like a superhero his power is just like being a douche like it's the mask when you put the mask on oh oh i'm not into that you don't get very far no what's that it started and it didn't start with cameron diaz in the dress being like hey i'm cameron diaz this is a cameron diaz movie and i said i'm actually fucking out no it was very much a jim carrey movie yeah and that is also like there i'm a huge huge and have always been cameron diaz movie girl i have never been a jim carrey movie girl from the
Starting point is 00:11:51 time i was a child because that man is a fantastic actor and he scared the shit out of me it was like jack nicholson in the shining i'm like i don't want to watch this yeah so that reminds me of beetlejuice um okay so they had delia deets style and i apologize i'm not saying that right um it is so in the end i feel like it would really be more of a nice surprise because either way you'll reap the rewards yes exactly so yeah i agree with that your turn all right melissa says people magazine is pranking us nine percent said i was wrong 91 said i was not wrong someone said is the sexiest man alive something that people vote for or does some random group of people just pick every year because if it's not the general public being hopelessly confused i feel like people's magazine
Starting point is 00:12:35 does this just so people continue to be shocked and confused yes sometimes if this was consistently like a shocked and confused things i would go sometimes but sometimes they're right yeah and you and i saw that i didn't really and maybe you mentioned it but that like it has been we know it's been overwhelmingly white but the years of idris elba michael b jordan and the rock were consecutive i think uh what's his name um um christy what's her name's husband uh christy christy who christy alley christy no christy christina yamaguchi no chris million no chris why can't i think of the broad name old christine what asian used to be a model john legend uh chrissy chrissy tegan okay you gave me the wrong
Starting point is 00:13:44 first name i did no you said kirsty in there so well i thought maybe the connection was wrong i was never thinking it was gonna be chrissy tegan okay but they were in sequence so yeah it was because people were complaining and they were like okay got enough colors in here let's put the whites back in back to back to back and i was like wait you're kidding me because like if i objectively look at it and like john legend is not my type but like i would say that like the ones that i don't understand of the white men are so i'm like put john legend in there every year then if like that like he's not my type but like blake shelton we're on a different we're now we're not even speaking the same language like i'm just like what the fuck are
Starting point is 00:14:25 we talking about yeah um and so i'm like and the fact that there haven't been any other people of color either well like i don't think there's ever been an asian there no there has not and i don't except for well the rock is technically asian but yes but like has never been um i also don't think that there has ever been a latino man as well i think was the criticism but like what do you mean that you said like objectively objectively you can look and say there was a three-year stint where you had the most attractive and then you said let's get back to the ugly white people like what do you mean like like you it's not like it was like no no we're actually we just want ugly people of all races they say no no we're good with like hot
Starting point is 00:15:06 black men hot hot uh polynesian men he's right he's half black half poly yeah uh yeah we we want the hot non-whites and then we're gonna confuse the shit out of you at these ugly white right and i'm like wait so what do you mean because and i don't like to call anybody ugly unless they're like on the inside supporter which i think the rock is but um who is voting it's not the people can you imagine it's just like you get up there and it is just like a group of like people with our personalities who in fact are trolling like and they are like giggling laughing he he and ha haing together being like oh my god he responded he wants to do it like dying like thinking like one up every year being like there's no way this man's actually gonna believe it because like i
Starting point is 00:16:01 also think that like as the significant others of the winners of the sexiest man alive specifically and actually exclusively and only the white men um i need all of their wives girlfriends partners i actually don't think anyone gays but i need i need all their wives and girlfriends significant others and even family members to carry the same energy of patrick dempsey's wife patrick dempsey is not what i'm opposing no i'm not opposing i just i just think it was the timing was off totally but i'm like okay yeah sure you're still attractive and you have been attractive always but like it just seems a little odd because you're not at like the height of your career it's giving dancing with the stars energy yes but i'm like okay that's fine and like the fact that his wife
Starting point is 00:16:42 literally was like giving him so much shit for it i'm like okay now where's the rest of your fucking wives like where's the she i would have i you should be getting so much it'd be like you don't accept that you're gonna go trend you're gonna go trend you're gonna trend on twitter and that's not good i have so many questions someone else said for real i don't believe the actual people chose him over Pedro yeah another person said I heard Pedro and Glenn Powell who I'm sorry I can't see it both were offered and both refused it saying they didn't feel it necessary and wanted to just let their work speak for themselves and whatnot which I respect but yeah this is just not what I expected especially when you listed other better options I want to know who
Starting point is 00:17:22 at people is picking these men and what hurt them but also John is cute and whatnot no hate to that face but still i don't believe that i don't think that's true because they're still in the magazine so they still had a photo shoot i don't think anyone would just decline it because they're still part of the group yeah i mean men are so i could see paul meskel doing it maybe not pedro pascal because like pedro pascal like he can like laugh at himself like he's done like fucking ads for like gate like phone games like i could see him being like oh i'll do it like that'll be fun and like that'll be like it'll like i can see him like enjoying that i could see like a paul metzger being like oh my god no i'm not like doing that i'll definitely still be like
Starting point is 00:18:09 number 16 though and it's like okay what do you mean like stand on it or don't like it's giving very much like oh my god no i'm not like that also glenn powell would 100 do it no glenn powell i think i think glenn powell has been like cold calling them being like please let me on like i like and i say that with love i i know lots of people find like that's like their type they love him including my including mots mots loves him he's not my type but like he he i could see doing that too because like he gives the i don't know like he does i don't think he has like an old school hollywood kind of face but like he doesn't give the tortured actor he's like bringing back the like enjoyable male actor persona he's not doesn't give this like oh my god i'm so tortured
Starting point is 00:18:55 like i don't have social media like nobody really knows me like i'm an artist like he's not that like he likes press he likes pr he likes a pap shot and so i'm like those people yeah he would very i could see him like thoroughly enjoying it and having a great time and i can see it doing well and women of all ages love him people of all ages love him another person said i've never heard of this man i would have picked roel alejandro oh look that up it's r-a-u-w oh yeah you could fuck me up yeah bro you could fuck me up wow he well here's the thing he's actually incredibly beautiful he's a little for you though i was gonna say and like that to me oh my god no he's so stunning he's so hot he's gorgeous
Starting point is 00:19:48 unfortunately my panties are down like yeah stunning yeah i'm with you on this another person said theo james only being number seven on that list is also absolutely criminal that man could literally be watching paint dry and i would pay good money to see him do it he should be sexiest man alive every year not all these other men who let's face it are not that sexy remember when i thought you were talking about theo vaughn i still can't get over it when i was reviewing the edit i was like i didn't understand your initial take on it because i knew you've told me before that you don't he's not he's small he's he's small he's not like my he's gorgeous but he never did that for me because like by the time i was introduced to him
Starting point is 00:20:36 i was about i would say probably five to six inches taller than him okay so like that was i didn't understand why you were so adamant it was believable because i've said before like yes but it wasn't like the the the lease that you went i was like i don't understand what is happening here oh i thought this was an agree i thought this was a he's gorgeous not for me yes and i was like oh my god but also the only thing i've seen him in is um divergent and uh i re-watched that and i was like oh he is very hot in that and so i will also say i think part of this was clouded by my and it is ironic because this person half the size of theo james my absolute undying love for josh hutcherson peter malark that was like like the
Starting point is 00:21:28 Hunger Games and Divergent were very parallel coming up at the same time so I didn't have space in my heart my mind or my panties to love any other man and so I now that I saw this again I was like love him like he's gorgeous very very attractive um but I was I think like my I was I was spoken for with Josh Hutcherson at that point I understand who is again about six inches shorter than V.O. Intentionally cuddling in bed is for people you are sleeping with. If you sleep in the same bed and wake up cuddling, that's different.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Writer, partner, and friend need to define cuddling and intimacy boundaries expectations before this gets worse. I can't even see accidentally cuddling with somebody. That still means you are rolling over close to them and wrapping your limbs around their body. well it's more common i would say that you fall asleep cuddling someone and you wake up not cuddling someone and then when you're in like your half awake dreamy sleep like state then you'll be like oh i'll cuddle again and then because you know you're not going to be in that position for that long so you're not going to like your arm's not going to fall asleep right that is a conscious decision yeah i feel i feel you act opposite in the sense that
Starting point is 00:24:13 you you wait you go to sleep cuddling you wake up not not the other way around uh i have slept to the very close friends and that's fine and like in a couch watching a movie or whatever i'd be in various close contact like legs on top or close i don't know if i would call it cuddling but very close contact but i would never cuddle with them in bed that would be very weird in bed we sleep on our place and that's it i even know these friends for a very long time but it would felt weird and wrong if they had tried to spoon me or something yeah the spooning part i don't even know if spooning happened but like spooning you can't really cuddle without spooning in a bed or like holding hands like yeah what like how are we positioning our bodies what are we defining as
Starting point is 00:24:53 cuddling for me cuddling feels romantic so doing that with anyone outside of your partner while in a relationship is icky to me i understand that friends can be close especially if you grew up together and if it's something you're used to doing then all power to you but as you get into a relationship i feel like boundaries even with your closest friends shift because some of the things you would rely on for your friends in the past your partner can now fill that space and cuddling in this scenario i think should be one of those things also fair very fair because like there's like people talk about like touch being touch starved and like like wanting physical intimacy from anyone that's not in like a romantic kind of way but then yeah it's not like a oh now
Starting point is 00:25:29 we always do this to that i say go get a massage yeah no that's a great way for people to do it too um sharing a bed was one thing but the whole cuddling wasn't solidified it for why they said they voted that they were wrong or not overreacting sorry as a gay man if my boyfriend cuddled with anyone regardless of gender sexual preference i would not be okay with this if they need physical intimacy i am here if i am not what they want or enough then that itself is another issue yep the writer is not wrong like why is your partner cuddling other people while in a relationship literally so inappropriate i had an ex like that and they kept saying i was quote-unquote over dramatic and that they're not attracted to their roommate and when i said yeah but you slept with
Starting point is 00:26:07 them they call me insecure and stupid glad i left fucking insane um i barely this is me i barely hug my new friends let alone want to share a bed and snuggle i agree with you too whether their partner realizes it now or not something else is definitely going on or gives me the uneasy feeling something else could end up happening down the line i also so sorry i'm yapping too much but i love you guys and i get excited when i actually make you i actually can make it for a voting story hopefully i can make a live stream and not have a great weekend icons love that a partner cuddling with a friend is not inherently wrong but here i believe the partner is wrong because they weren't transparent about it and they weren't open to changing their behavior once they realized it
Starting point is 00:26:44 made the writer uncomfortable that's also a good point that it's like you know doing it is one thing but then like doubling down and being like i'm not gonna stop after you know your partner's uncomfortable is another because it's not like well i would stop immediately if you felt uncomfortable it's like actually i won't and i like actually don't care yeah and you're wrong and we've got writer number two are they wrong for not going home for thanksgiving because dad is bringing his boyfriend home for the first time 27 said the writer is wrong 73 said the writer is not wrong that's where i thought it would fall it's a little bit more than i thought for the writers wrong someone said writers waiting out the chaos in the best way possible best excuses
Starting point is 00:27:24 ranked one splitting holidays with significant other two living in another state aka money three not enough pto four spontaneous non-life threatening illness spontaneous non-threatening life illness and if you somehow get forced into attending a family holiday you don't want to be yet volunteer for every chore and do them solo yeah or another good one and this isn't even like i would say is like a to try and get away with it but like it also helps if you don't want to like be there or if it's just like new people or you're meeting in love whatever hang out with the kids are there toddlers that need help wrangling totally like go for that do that then my nomination for my wrong of the week was the fake bear fraudsters 89 said the fake bear is wrong 11
Starting point is 00:28:15 said the fake bear is not wrong and why do we think 11 said that because i let me see if anyone oh one person said i received all my education in oklahoma and even i'm far enough to see through this some people really don't use their brain oh shout out to our resident oh oh how do you oklahoman oklahoman oklahomi yeah or oklahomi someone said i voted wrong swear i'm not into the furries yeah melissa did send me after we recorded this she did send me the video because they did release the footage of him doing this and the way that i'm like take a class at am to you bitches you're at big bear you can go the way that it was they were like disney characters not even knott's berry farm i don't know universal like lower tier disney costumed characters
Starting point is 00:29:10 were far more in character than this like this man or person they were just just walking the like the like the footage of bigfoot that they found which is just somebody in a costume walking it looked exactly like that i would say this looked worse i would say that bigfoot at least pretended to have like a really like heavy stride this bear walking like it is ridiculous and also they needed to have some padding because this bear was far too skinny it was the the it was like especially at this time of the year maybe if it was a springtime no what do you mean this if this bear is hungry this bear is clearly starving it looks like it's loose skin everywhere it was absolutely fucking insane and for like that part alone i'm like what
Starting point is 00:29:59 do you mean you can do all it's like literally making like a cheat sheet and then not bringing it to the test i'm like what do you mean you did all of this work to prepare ahead of time and then in the moment i'm just gonna fucking wing it what the fuck and it was so bad it was so bad oh that's it for that one all right and then my wrong of the week which there's been numerous updates on this now did you notice the photo i used i used it because it's from the update ryan borgwart and whatever his last name name is uh 99 said that ryan is wrong one percent said ryan is not wrong let me get into if anybody i don't think anybody wrote in for this let me just check okay there's no nobody wrote in but so this woman posted a video that she
Starting point is 00:30:51 on tiktok that she had taken like over the summertime before he went he quote unquote died or went missing and he it was just a random video where she had a like a poster that said like convince me of anything or something like that like changed my mind about something and a man stopped and uh was like i didn't see this update oh yeah yeah yeah a man stopped and he was like i'm going to move to another country to find a girlfriend and of course he's a passport bro yeah and and and she and she said something to him and he's like no i have a wife and he's like yeah i have a uh i have um i have children but like yeah i'm moving and she's like oh okay and she posted this not knowing that he was missing or anything did she post it before he
Starting point is 00:31:43 was missing or she said throwback it was like an older video that she was just getting around to posting and she didn't know anything about him and then people in the comments were and i thought it was a joke because this was actually the day that i picked this to be my but am i wrong that i saw it and i thought it was a joke i didn't know if it was really him yeah and then people in the comments were saying hey like tagging like msnbc and like like tagging the news sources saying like ryan whatever and so then she made a follow-up video and was like i think that this might be him i'm not sure but it's the country that they thought that he had gone to that he had mentioned in it and so then the news got a hold of it and they interviewed her and she was
Starting point is 00:32:31 like i literally i did not know anything about this that was happening um but the authorities were like we think it's him his family was like yeah that's him so then that's actually what tipped everybody off because then he had to come forward and be like yeah that's me i'm not coming back so that's what his own little hostage video yes in his empty airbnb was yes yes so he posted his own video um and now he's probably facing so many charges for faking his death pre yes premeditated um clearing off his heart like and then they dedicated so many resources to finding him and put out an extra search so he's probably going to be facing those charges too but if he is in a different country and doesn't come back it depends on what where he
Starting point is 00:33:25 country yes but i think he probably picked a non-extra extra bitches one you can't get extradited from yes he went i thought he went to europe and i'm pretty sure we can extract from it's almost all european countries countries oh like what like a small islet because i some of that stuff where it's something that starts with an a that i don't know i think it's um but i don't know and even so he might just go somewhere else now yeah he will slip up because um someone find his reddit account where he like would i be wrong for abandoning my life and kids and fake ask me anything i faked my death via a kayak accident right wow see now this is the time i am a i'm very anti against uh i'm very against social media and armchair uh detectives and like
Starting point is 00:34:17 in the sense of like badgering victims who've like of true crime in the sense of like people who have like lost loved ones or someone's missing or whatever and like poking holes in those stories and like i'm just asking quite i don't like that this is different yeah i gotta find that video to send to you because he's literally just riding his bike and she has a like one of those signs up like convince me of anything or something like that i forgot what it was it wasn't like a man on the street yes hey can i act like no no no he paid rent stopped in his on his bike and had a full conversation laying out the exact plan that he was gonna do that's insane and then because people just people had heard about it they just started tagging the news and they're like this is
Starting point is 00:35:01 the plan and i said ryan this you that's the worst this you you could ever get and i think he had on like a helmet and glasses and you couldn't really like see his face see his face well that's a part that can be hard about um specifically like these bald white men a time a dozen yeah so like i wouldn't have been able to spot him the way that you could give me a police lineup and i could be looking at the photo on my phone of him and i could be looking at him and five other men like and i would be like i'm not confident like that's the part that i think is remarkable people are like i recognize him and i'm like here's the thing if i thought every bald white man was this man ryan it would take up my entire day but like to be able to distinguish that like is is in fact a
Starting point is 00:35:52 skill yeah what state i'm trying to see where he is now i can't believe from wisconsin wait this is so funny a yahoo ryan bogwart likely wouldn't face significant jail time after staging death experts say that's just them trying to learn back yeah they are lying which is fucking hilarious oh let's see oh he doesn't have on a helmet but he has on a hat a little beanie oh uzbekistan oh is that what it was yeah okay i don't think we can extradite from uzbekistan i don't think you the video yeah someone says believed to be somewhere in eastern europe yeah the u.s does not i was gonna say uzbekistan and russia i know we don't have one with russia so the u.s does not have an extradition treaty with uzbekistan or russia
Starting point is 00:36:41 so yeah he did think that through um a bit but like men just gotta brag about it yeah that's the part it's like the ego cannot like they cannot let their ego get like it will always stay in their way let me show i'm sending you the actual i sent you a new video let me see you the actual video i've seen this video you've seen it and i never unless i saw it after after what you said never once crossed my mind that this could be that bald ryan yep that's fucking hilarious so if you want to i'll put it in the comments but uh it's a tiktok page called pull over at vice and she and she just said asked asked me for advice on anything and this is in uzbekistan no that's this is in wherever he's from wisconsin i think so i thought this man was in
Starting point is 00:37:33 venice beach i did too or maybe i don't wherever it is he's still in the united states yes okay so he's been in communication they got from his laptop they saw that he was in communication with a woman from uzbekistan so that's why they think it's eastern europe russia or uzbekistan But I think he said it in this video. He said that's where he was going. Yeah, it's just tying himself literally to it. Say that one more time. Do I go to Uzbekistan or stay here?
Starting point is 00:38:01 Do you have family there? I've literally watched it. Why do you want to go? To meet a woman. To meet a woman. And it was Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan. You don't like American women?
Starting point is 00:38:14 He has to be in the West Coast. Where is that? There's palm trees. no i know and like maybe i'm an idiot but like besides florida and here where is she that's insane so that's fun what an idiot actually i'm actually glad he left his family i don't like that he left them like mourning and thinking he was dead but like that person shouldn't be raising children no no no no no not at all like it i hate when people like show you who they are um in a way that is detrimental it's true it's honest and it's true and like but i do
Starting point is 00:38:57 like there are ways to do that in a less destructive like uproot and like fuck up people's lives manner and but i have to say the way that it would be so easy not as the children because they're very young as the uh wife the way that i would skip the depressed great stage the way i would go straight to mad and like the way that like it you're just like i'm no longer i'm not even hurt like it becomes like who you are as a total lie as a person and like that's like such like i'd feel so fucking angry let's see what this girl where is she from she has she's from la she is it has to be southern california just like trying to watch this news thing where they if they are gonna have like a little chiron is that how you say the one chiron at the bottom
Starting point is 00:39:49 where it says where she was i think it's chiron i always miss cornellison you know me and kazoic same fucking thing kazooik well so i was in college at the mall and i said let's hit up one of those kazooiks to get our phone screens fixed and everyone's like what the fuck are you talking about and i was like you don't know about kazooiks and i showed them and they said kiosk oh i was i was speechless i had nothing to say and i was like why is no one in my life ever corrected people just must have been like slow nodding being like okay because like just wild how just like a random video that she posted late just busted this wide open yeah and you know what
Starting point is 00:40:39 it i i typically fucking hate this kind of content but hey something good came out of it yeah something good did come out of it the only like man on the street um stuff that is i like is like a um billy billy and chris clemens will do funny ones but it's like not like asking everyone the same question like how much he's been in rent like i find those yeah so i like the the meat cute one exactly like i like something that's like unique in a story because like when it's someone how a couple met first of all it's a city there's a lot of tourists you have people around everywhere and that i find cool because like i'm not re-watching the same thing over and over again i don't need to watch a finance bro say he lives in soho right and he has four roommates and he
Starting point is 00:41:28 has navy sheets like i already know that i don't need to talk to him so i this is typically not what i enjoy but i'm like thank you for your service i guess remarkable fucking remarkable okay should we take a break and then tell everybody about yeah your thanksgiving this episode is brought to you by Accenture when your advertising operations fall out of sync everything else follows Spotify and Accenture are working together to reinvent the rhythm of ad sales using automation analytics and smarter workflows to simplify campaign delivery and access better data across the business the result less time spent on operations more time connecting brands with the moments and fandoms that matter most. People thought denim on denim was peak fashion, inline skates were everywhere, and two out of three women rocked the Rachel. While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get when WestJet welcomes you on board. Here's to WestJetting since 96. Travel back in time with us
Starting point is 00:43:00 and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years. We're back and dive in. Okay, so I went to Ipik, which is my, it's my Disney World. And they have a restaurant called Tuck Room Tavern that is a part of it. And that's where we spent our Thanksgiving. It was, the food was incredible. they had a seafood buffet um crab cakes lobster scallops i did not oysters wild yeah oysters um and then like all the thanksgiving food too um plus the desserts and drinks it was incredible
Starting point is 00:43:48 um they wouldn't let us take a to-go box which it's a buffet i wouldn't expect it um and when I say buffet it's like high and it's not like it's a Vegas buffet yeah and but they let us take plates and if you're going to see a movie you could take a plate an additional plate with you so we went to go see Wicked which was you know it's like almost three hours long I don't know how long it is but because we're gonna be in there I was like I'm taking my dessert with me so we took it I sit down in my seat and then I hear a voice that I think I'm like it sounds familiar and I look up as someone's passing in front of me and the way that it's set up there's only four seats in a row and like the section that you're in so it was my my mom was on the
Starting point is 00:44:32 far end then it was me and then I go that's Lisa Rinna and she sits down right next to me to my left and then she's like yelling like Harry go down there so they must have bought their tickets late so they weren't sitting together and so he was sitting down like she didn't try and pull like a passengers on the crazy passengers on a plane be like would you swap she said no she was very nice yeah i mean he like if you watch real housewives of beverly hills he likes to like be outside by himself he sleeps in a single person tent by himself yeah their relationship i know i don't know as much about her but he was also a veronica mars um and i've seen like him do like interview just like random like talk show stuff or whatever and i was like this is so fun like
Starting point is 00:45:25 how fun is that yeah like they're very independent of each other this is actually the second time i've spent a thanksgiving holiday with her last year i went to the friendsgiving event at max greenfield's house like this all just sounds so it's so la but i went to a friend's giving she was also there and the disappointing part about both of these things is that she did not have her iconic hair out for either one at max's house she had on a fedora i think that's pretty iconic but like i would have preferred the hair yeah and then this time she just kind of had like a hair wrap on tying her hair down i was like great it might be a multi-day process to get it to like it might be the vertical way that she enjoys it maybe um but
Starting point is 00:46:12 uh she sat next to me we chatted a little bit um i didn't tell her this was our second thanksgiving that we were spending together in a row but uh that's so funny um but we were we watched as we were watching the film she was her and i were having a blast like we were cracking up at the exact same things we were like cheering when there was like iconic things like cameos happening we like gasp at the same time we were having a great time she was over there crying i was crying and also like if if this was a thing where she did not want to be seen i wouldn't be talking about this oh yeah but literally before the movie started we're in our row harry's far away she yells at him because on the screen their daughter is actually in a commercial oh right so she yells
Starting point is 00:47:06 harry look up so it's not like she was trying to hide that she was there um and then he's yelling back what what like he doesn't realize that their daughter is on the screen amelia gray i think that's where she goes by um and then um after the movie ends she's like whooping and cheering nobody else is she's like cheering so it's not like she did not want to be seen yeah yeah she just couldn't get her hair right so she's like i'm not gonna let you bitches see it it's not ready it's being it's it's priming it's cooking like it's still it's still we're working on that vertical that vertical trajectory yeah that is so fucking funny so you got to see wicked it's so good i can't wait till you see it so that we can discuss it but jonathan bailey
Starting point is 00:47:54 is a gift i that man is meant to be wearing some period piece pants at all times he has a period he has a face that he should be like holding a candle and a little saucer in like the middle of the night with like very flowy pajamas on he is you think he's hot in bridgerton oh i don't know if that i'm ready that my nipples got i just was not ready i didn't know what i didn't i went into this i only knew what ariana and cynthia what characters they were playing obviously but i didn't know what anybody else was doing i've seen it yeah but i just didn't know what he was doing there um but i knew he was in it and i was just like i his entrance on screen wet like the whole time this man is a gift like he has a gift and he is a gift he's so good a hot fiero
Starting point is 00:48:49 changes you if you if you see wicked without a hot fiero you're not missing you don't know what you're missing out on when you are sexually attracted to fiero it adds by nipples are rock hard it's it it brings something that you didn't know that you needed i love him do you know the rumor about him no that he um has a clause in his contract which this is like a joke i don't even know if Dumois has made this but this comedian uh made this joke but I think it is someone did write it in Dumois but I don't know I think the person who wrote it in Dumois is doing a bit and then someone else riffed on that bit um otherwise if it's not a bit I love that uh but that wait hold on let me make sure I'm not saying this wrong um because I saved it I love how someone
Starting point is 00:49:40 could say that Dumois said anything and I would go probably because like like I don't even need to fact check it because dumois also doesn't fact check no so like it is all but they also do i've had them on a podcast and um they get a lot of things directly from people no totally but i can't remember it was a comedian on tiktok who was saying this but it was about um and they ended it with being like that's not true but it also like you could you believe me because like this is there's no reason why this wouldn't be true because all of it adds up that jonathan bailey has in his contract that he will not play up he will not have a white woman has this romantic lead it either has to be a man or a woman of color so like that's like it and like you can't dispute
Starting point is 00:50:35 that because it's it has yet you know what you know what yeah now that chewing gum too like yeah yeah uh-huh okay and so i'll buy it and so like the joke was being like he was offered the role of fiero and he said and again this is not this is the this person making a joke and he said yeah i i can't do it and then john andrew was like i promise you you'll be fine he was like I'm telling you I I can't and then Cynthia Erivo signed on and he said no I'm there I'm perfect perfect but I was like that is like and literally I'm like well yes like yeah there there that is what his career has shown yeah um and he's like he also has said that he like doesn't play he like doesn't want to play any character that is um straight like he's like all of my characters
Starting point is 00:51:26 like have to be like a little gay like you know by whatever even just like flirtatious like not in like he's like i'm he's like i'm not playing a straight white man opposed to opposite a straight white woman like that's like not that's not my path and him being like coming from like a dance and theater background he goes that's not my path and also i know it doesn't even have to be my path i know that i can like literally like you see so many people in different characters you have so much like wild avant-garde characters and on broadway and stuff that he's like no i'm not you're not gonna catch me as a chris pratt you're not gonna catch me as that no he is perfect this movie is perfectly cast and you know i went into this with some apprehension about someone we cut
Starting point is 00:52:10 out we said we weren't going to mention but i went in with some apprehension about someone and you know what they did their thing like like i think we were fair to have we said we were cutting it out yeah yeah um but uh like this jeff goldblum oh yeah ariana was great she i could tell she was because you know she's great at impersonating people and i could tell she was trying so hard not to do christian chenoweth christian chenoweth but it's there like it's there even her there's some inflection in her voice sometimes and you're like that and she saw it originally on Broadway with Kristen Chenoweth she has a picture with her but the role was written for Kristen Chenoweth like that was like so like so anybody that plays it yes
Starting point is 00:52:59 anybody that plays it is gonna do it but sometimes like I could even in the singing I could tell she was fighting not trying to do it exactly like her but she's still so good yeah I'm excited to hear the singing part because like Kristen Chenoweth is classically trained and that's why like specifically the um i think it was steven schwartz who had said sportsman had said like he heard christian chandler's voice being like i don't i think i might have to rewrite this if she doesn't want to do it because she's classically trained so there's a lot of like operatic aspects to it and so like ariana had to learn that and that's not something that like you have to be an incredibly talented vocalist to learn how to do that with your voice as an adult yeah and so i'm really
Starting point is 00:53:40 excited to hear that when we came home there was I just turned on my television to watch something but uh NBC had done a uh like little documentary about it and so she talks about all the singing lessons and acting lessons that she took to prepare and she did and I I will say like after you know I made my statement about her being maybe being one of the greatest actresses of our time um if you watch the first SNL she was on versus the one that she was on most recently you can totally tell the difference in her acting yeah but not just more confident but like that her acting ability is a lot better um and she nailed it Cynthia nailed it um Bowen I would Bowen yelled nailed it they put a lot of Bowen in this uh um Jeff Goldblum was excellent like
Starting point is 00:54:32 you know his line saying I don't see color was improvised yes I I knew that and as he's walking because it's a thing where he's like walking off so you can't see his mouth moving so they could have cut it out if they wanted he didn't think it was gonna be in the movie for the first time he said oh my god you kept that and everybody's like that was hilarious he was like oh really okay i feel like that was a little far there's a lot there's a few of them where when you can tell like he's he's turning his back because he's like they're not gonna keep this in but they ended up keeping them keeping it in and him and the actress that he's playing against i don't know her name bronwyn james they were so good together uh michelle yo of course is a
Starting point is 00:55:13 fucking gym um incredible uh like it's just perfect it's perfect i can't even spongebob by the way i just saw a picture of spongebob he and i have matching chicken pox scarves on our forehead on the same spot i can't criticize this man anymore we're kindred spirits some might even call us ariana step aside he and i might be twin flames we have matching chicken pox scars it was it was a lot of fun it was there were tears no one was singing thank god but then lisa ren also was like i gotta go to a sing-along after this i gotta find a theater that's doing a sing-along hey be like lisa let me hear your numbers head out together i would kill to see her do that um the last thing i would say is i have have i told you both of my
Starting point is 00:56:05 real housewife stories i don't think so oh yeah you've told me wait you've told me about um ramona okay well riding into her in new york i was walking with a suitcase i got out of an uber i got out of uber with a large checked bag like we're talking this girl's not taking this to carry and i am on my phone on the phone with kyle being like going to his work where he was gonna we're gonna stash my bag have dinner and then we were going to take the train to his apartment like later that night and she is barreling down the other side of the street crosses over and it goes is this the way to the bowery and i'm like ma'am i didn't say this door but i'm like at what point did you think i am someone to ask for directions with my massive checked suitcase and kyle is
Starting point is 00:56:56 literally crossing like rounding the corner with me on the phone as i'm talking to her and i'm like um i'm actually i'm i'm not sure and then i'm like looking at my and whatever and like i like she goes what it's fine it's fine you're very helpful sweetie and it goes that way and kyle was that from i was like yeah that was wild and then my other one was um soul cycle kyle richards was like we were like right near each other and then like after class she was like i love your workout set where is that from like you are so good at soul cycle and i was like thanks girl she's like i always see you here and i was like i have never seen you here love that thank you and that i who else did i also meet there i met mots and mots was there with me that time but he
Starting point is 00:57:40 was like in the bathroom so he missed it uh uh natalie domer dormer natalie and what's how do i natalie natalie dormer she played um she was on game of thrones she played miss not melisandre love that actress though she played everybody's screaming at me being like bitch what do you mean you can't remember who she is i as i've mentioned on this podcast numerous times i've only seen one episode so i i but i know who you're talking about marjorie mark i just don't know the character's names i'm gonna be on it now that i haven't watched this in so long i don't remember how to pronounce these names but she played her and that was like when we were watching the show that was like matz's celebrity
Starting point is 00:58:30 crush and like we were like sitting next to each other just like talking about i don't know what like making casual conversation and then um we like went inside and then mons like came in like late because he was like coming from work or something and then as we were leaving he was like oh my god i was like oh yeah we were talking earlier and he's like what and i was like what was i about so he's like did you tell her and i was like tell her that you love her no like why would i say hey yeah my boyfriend loves you right i was like that's so funny um yeah those are my real house web stories and i can't wait to see wicked i also just saw chris and china with chris's movie i gotta watch it just so good wicked is so good and watch the watch the
Starting point is 00:59:13 documentary after because you get to see how much of a nerd that ariana is for these things because she has photos as a child with also with jeff goldblum yes yeah no you don't have to sell me on a documentary considering you and i are the only two people who used to watch movies with both cast and director commentary and i say this was not enough like i don't it was 42 minutes long and it was very big because they weren't trying to even though everybody not everybody but a lot of people have seen the musical they weren't trying to like overtly spoil it because they were it was more of an advertisement to get people to go watch it but now i need an actual documentary john mchu i'm did his fucking thing yeah and like people are being like oh my god this budget
Starting point is 01:00:02 this is remarkably small budget and every they did it because they did everything practical yeah for the most part except for you know like that's more animals it's not practical it's not never more expensive no and it looks so good it looks so fucking good because it's not a lot of green screen shit yeah no and i love that and like people will say that like um that's why harry potter movies give you that feeling of like being immersed in a way that like guardians of the galaxy doesn't like they're because like they're actually at running to they're running to a real train like these things are like they'll have things that like they have to like do a green screen version of the train at some point but like that real thing
Starting point is 01:00:44 is there and then like they have to you know do what they have to do to like make it work in every instance but like you set the stage with real practical sets and like that's like literally a fucking dream and like you get much better acting that way like all of it's exponentially better was saying yeah you get way better he wasn't mentioning marvel movies but he was saying it he was behind the scenes of marvel movies is like you don't know anybody you don't know what's going on crazy especially yeah but he's like i've done he's like i've done green screen stuff but it's not the same and that's why i complimented elizabeth olsen so much in wandavision because i was like damn you acted in that little blue room like wow to to do all of this looking at
Starting point is 01:01:31 nothing at all is amazing like because you can't react no not at all when west jet first took flight in 1996 the vibes were a bit different people thought denim on denim was peak fashion inline skates were everywhere and two out of three women rocked the rachel while those things stayed in the 90s one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get when west jet welcomes you on board here's to west jetting since 96 travel back in time with us and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years hear that it's your money calling it wants a promotion elevate your savings with the scotia high interest savings account always earn high regular interest rates that grow the more you

Starting point is 01:03:14 Days of Our Lives. And so she played Billy. And so that was more of what I was excited about. And she, like two years ago, they did a little special series where she came back and was playing her character. who is a uh agent she's a spy so oh i thought you meant like hollywood nope she's she's a spy she's a spy with that hair yeah so not even can speak she she she usually has like disguises and stuff wigs i feel like lisa renna would love a wig yeah she does she's wore a lot on beverly hills perfect i i i love a personality whether you agree with the person or or not um
Starting point is 01:03:58 that that's what reality tv is supposed to be i think yeah she and i i felt i felt a nice connection with her too while watching this because she's spoken about how she i'm gonna get this out straight she's spoken about how she grew up you know being an italian woman in this very white area and faced a lot of racism and she did she said she she her being the the darker person in her neighborhood she faced a lot of turmoil growing up and you know she's got Ariana there who also has right you know who's also faced some I don't this is
Starting point is 01:04:40 factual what I'm saying about Lisa is factual but like Ariana she says yeah yeah yeah yeah it's in her book you can read it Ariana was recently a news right wing news place was mad that Ariana
Starting point is 01:04:56 was playing the character playing Glinda because they were like we've got there you go we've got this hispanic woman playing glinda who is who is wearing this blonde hair and being ditzy and i was like first of all this character is based on someone and was written specifically for a white woman and ariana is white best day of her life ariana has gone so far in in her fishing of different ethnicities that this woman thought this was a hispanic woman and ariana said
Starting point is 01:05:36 god she's like i did it i did it i've reached a whole new level it is it is wild though how much she leans into like whatever she's whoever whatever ariana she is of that moment that the fact that the blonde are like it is to her visual detriment that i go what do you mean you're just not gonna have eye eyebrows like yes she bleached her eyebrows and like i say this with love the second half of her eyebrows fell off because she bleached them they they just and i just the whole thing about her not having a pony or always having a ponytail because her hair was damaged i'm like this broad has been bleaching her hair for three years for no reason she's wearing a wig and they're like it's blending in i was like that's not no no no you're not doing your real hairline out
Starting point is 01:06:23 that's not what it's happening on set and also it's the wrong color for her maybe if she wasn't tanned in her she can't let go or spray tan and we know what color she used to be which would be a much better contrast if she would have not had her um spray tan skin then the blonde would have worked better it's just it's not the right blonde for her no and specifically the fact that she has like such a personal vendetta against blush is crazy to me because i'm like i'm sorry like this this is how i also know that this is not your skin tone because you're never changing shades when you're getting a little flushed or a little flushed like it's so we're we've just we're we've shellacked we're just like a spray on that i'm like no okay ariana so like if you
Starting point is 01:07:11 want to do a spray tan i love a spray tan you know i i was a professional spray tan you want to do a spray tan that's amazing you you are putting pigment on your skin so you actually do now need to put the other pigment back on your skin because it it is it is looking alarmingly flat specifically for film and tv and like i can't stress enough that like there's a reason why like people think of like stage makeup like there are things that like you can't really do kate you can't do at all like really heavy skin um on camera but you have to do blush and you have to do lips and usually which i know that she did in this you really can't do strip lashes like ever like it looks ridiculous but you have to do lips and you have to do blush and i just watched a
Starting point is 01:07:57 chris's movie and there's a scene where they forgot to put a lip color on like one of the i'm not just like oh my god what's wrong i said they forgot to put a lip color on her like she's not like they just forgot and it makes you look so like ill like it does not look right because again like you have all these things to even out your complexion and your skin tone and then it's like why can't i see the bottom half of your face like your lips have disappeared it's just teeth it's so odd while i was watching i said why did you dye your eyebrows i don't understand no and then half of them fell off and people are cry bros have always been like this i'm like no no no no this is definitely the shape that because everyone has the shape that they grow
Starting point is 01:08:35 regardless you can have more or less hairs but they'll grow in a shape it is a shape um but the reason why it also looks a little off to people i'm like the tails fell off like yeah they bleed she bleached them and they fell off yeah but um but she did a remarkable job oh yeah she can act yeah she can act and i cannot wait to see it um i will say and like i don't want anyone to be like oh here's what happens i cannot for the life of me remember even what happens in the second half of the game like so i'm so looking forward to unlike most people i'm so looking forward to this one i'm really looking forward to the second half because i don't really remember what happens yeah my niece audrey who is 11 and saw it yes she is very hilarious uh she saw it and she said
Starting point is 01:09:25 I really enjoyed it but it was too long and I said well you know this is part one of part two and she goes I won't be back I told my sister-in-law that story yes no my sister-in-law tells me a story yesterday I know I tell her that story and she goes shows me a text she goes verbatim this is what my mom texted me like it was the whole same interaction I was like yeah little new that she's the same thing we like I won't be seeing him like that's just it's too long to me it flew by i i think i'll love it i i'm always more is more for me i love a long movie i love if you're gonna give me a movie i love in two parts i'm never gonna say no give me less of that especially things that like you love they can keep more of it in like i'm fine with that
Starting point is 01:10:06 i'm really great spectacular spectacular give me 36 more of them yeah give me more like put this in my veins and also i will go i'll be back to see it i'm so excited to watch it and my nephew also going we were talking i don't know we were talking about it before thursday so we can talk about it okay i'll try okay um but he was like i had asked him because he watched his first movie he watched um frozen and then of course i had to go first one burst into song about i'd sing all the songs and stacy was like oh wow you really know frozen i was like oh i have seen it in theaters um and then i was like we gotta watch leo and stitch i'm like naming all the other ones that he and i have to watch and then we were talking about wicked and i was like
Starting point is 01:10:51 do you know what wicked is and he was like it is about the wicked witch of the east and i was like how do you know that he goes there are posters everywhere i was like facts this boy lives in la and he's like there are posters everywhere he's like there are big ones there are billboards it is on the bus it is everywhere and like when you're a kid in a fucking car seat i forget that like that he is so up to date i should ask him like hey what movies are coming out like hey what are you seeing posters of because it's that so i can't wait to watch it i'm so excited i'll look at um tickets tonight and see when we can go this week go like on a tuesday that's i think that's what we should do yeah can't wait fantastic love it we hope you

Starting point is 01:12:52 We're here for it. With kids who turn the backseat into a courtroom drama over whose tablet is louder, whose charger is faster, and why watching the same cartoon for the hundredth time is a human right. Yep, we totally have vehicles to handle that. Because whether it's a road trip or a business trip, where your flight's delayed, your phone's at 2% and your dinner is whatever's open. Yep, here for that too. Enterprise. We're here for it.
