And here we are on a Tuesday seeing you. If you're new here, then welcome. We've got a very fun episode here where if you're unfamiliar with what See You Next Tuesday is, that's when we read the results from an Instagram poll that we post on Instagram what a concept of things that we presented to you on but am I wrong
Starting point is 00:01:34 yeah and then you make sure that your voice is heard and that's what we're here for we're here for passing the mic letting you give your opinions and very rarely do we filter them and here's the thing if you're like oh they don't like me if we don't like you and you have not heard us read anything that you have said that's because you have said something that is objectively so out of like so out of line and so out of pocket if you have any like well i don't know maybe i promise you we probably just haven't seen it and if we haven't seen it please send us a email to but am i wrong pot at gmail.com and we will get you out of the dirt we want we want to brush that dirt off there's a glitch there's a glitch on instagram where we're not able to see and i keep
Starting point is 00:02:24 every day i'm bringing people into the fold yeah so don't be nervous about being like oh i'm probably i probably am blocked just know that if you have the self-awareness to think that you're blocked or like that you were intentionally not reading it it's the same way that when people write in and say like please like please like you know you can tell me the honest truth and i'm like you're so not in the wrong anybody who has said something wild out of pocket they they are fully confident in that kind of a thing there there is no like oh maybe i said maybe i went it's none of that so just know that if you're having like a oh moral dilemma of like oh no did i do something i promise you it's not you i promise you we just haven't seen it so just let us know
Starting point is 00:03:08 don't don't just assume please so we're gonna read the results for who was wrong for episode 120 you're up first i am megan on valuing animals over people hurricane edition three percent said megan is wrong 97 said megan is not wrong i did the scale right because you want something that weighs more than the other right that's more important okay well i mean the scale is usually fair and balanced i was trying to figure out like who goes on the i would assume that like something has carries more weight to it in terms of being worth more that's going to be on the like that's gonna be shown it's tipping the scales in that direction but i did start getting fucked up because i was like well is it tipping the scales like do you want to be on the top of
Starting point is 00:03:51 scale or the bottom and i was like started freaking like trying to figure it out but i think everyone understood what i meant um so i don't think you're wrong in the comments on videos of people evacuating is super annoying i do think you're missing the context of what happened in katrina it used to be very common to leave your pets during an evac nothing had been that level of bad before or that level of televised they had to make laws about shelters having to accept animals people do horrible and stupid shit but they're not posting videos about it because that's evidence what did you say about katrina i no i think they're just saying the context of katrina is that like people did leave their animals but like i i that i don't think that we're disagreeing
Starting point is 00:04:26 in the sense of like it if you're evacuating thinking that something is horrible and something is way or you're evacuating thinking something is not nearly as bad as it was like something like Katrina or like you didn't evacuate or whatever that to me I don't think is again like the fault of the individuals like having Katrina be so much worse and having there be like lives lost with animals then I don't think that that's anyone was intentionally doing that but I think that like to focus on people intentionally do like horrible shitty things to animals all the time i think focusing on like a natural disaster is when like people say like oh prime opportunity for me to abuse my animal is like just a very weird thing to hone in on when like people are dealing with
Starting point is 00:05:19 like the effects of a natural disaster do you know i mean i don't understand this comment at all so I don't. Fair. And I might be getting it wrong too. Yeah. Okay. Once again, you are not wrong. As an animal person myself, my heart does break to think of the poor animals that may have been left behind because of neglectful owners or because there's simply no way to bring them to safety from the disaster. The people who seriously think to choose the life of an animal over a human have messed up morals. How are you going to care for that animal through the disaster? How are you going to explain to them what's happening during the disaster and keep them calm and safe? The logistics makes no sense and people really don't think before they speak.
Starting point is 00:05:52 yeah yeah i mean like my whole thing is that like you're just the assumption that people are abusing their animals or neglecting their animals again if you're if you're seeing animals people aren't like people are doing the same way like people rarely are posting themselves abusing their children that's stuff that happens behind closed doors so to assume that anytime you see an animal they they're they're definitely being abused and all of that it's it's just to me a very odd thing to care more about how uh they fare in this when most of the time people will like do anything for their pets and next we've got me melissa says there's a difference between a boy mom and a mother who has sons one percent said i was wrong 99 said i was not wrong
Starting point is 00:06:49 a person said and of course the next level is boy moms who also refer to their boy children as my boyfriend absolutely not those are the same people that like on valentine's day like dress their sons up and say that they're their date that's the same vibe um then someone else said i immediately thought of avery woods when you mentioned that i don't know who that is that's who i was talking to about who did the tiktok of like don't get me wrong i love my daughter but i love my son And everyone's like, ew, girl, what is wrong? I played you the audio. It was like, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Starting point is 00:07:26 That's the only thing I know about that woman. Yuck. Yeah. Another person said, 100% not wrong. It is my mission in life to only be a mother to a son and not a dreaded boy mom. I've got one of each now, and I love my son to bits, but cannot fathom the mentality of these mama bear types. is that a call back to uh parker ferris's mom because that was funny
Starting point is 00:07:53 aspen's ex-husband he she posted her mom his mom he she his her ex-mother-in-law posted on our instagram story apparently this like ai picture of a bear being like oh you came from who wants the truth and like with a poll like yes or no or whatever and then aspen responded by posting a tiktok of her like straddling parker grinding on him saying you might be mama but i will always be mother and i was like that is an iconic oh wait so it was aspen that was grinding yes okay i thought you were saying the mom was okay okay because i have seen videos also of moms grinding on their sons at weddings at the wedding at their son's wedding they've straddled their son and grinded on him and that is disgusting um when i hear mama bear i think about that
Starting point is 00:08:53 um girl that's always lying in bed and her mom comes in she's like hi mama bear and her mom's always asking her to go to the country club and she's like no i have to go to work today have you not seen those no i haven't seen those it's i like them but i also hate them yeah i understand that yeah i feel that way about a lot of things yeah so her caption is she might be mama bear but i am mother and then the text on the screen says his mom can't do what i do and it's her grinding on him and then she's censoring out where his dick would be and i'm like god you're so fucking iconic that's great i love she's so fucking funny i love that girl if anybody is like watching any of this stuff and it's being like questioning this is aspen's personality to a t
Starting point is 00:09:41 she is quite literally has always been one of the funniest fucking people ever um and i'm just i'm addicted to her using her sense of humor to deal with all this fucking bullshit this episode is brought to you by accenture when your advertising operations fall out of sync Everything else follows. Starting point is 00:11:30 this entire segment had me howling i honestly cannot believe that people have this kind of relationship with their children ha ha ha ha so nasty a lot of gross people in this world there are another person said as a bisexual but lesbian leaning woman i forever lived in fear of a boy mom the thought that you as an adult woman could be so lonely and so confused about your needs that you project everything about you onto your child and further enable another misogynist man in society who doesn't notice the toxicity that you are portraying on him is wild and disgusting and not girl's girl behavior because it's not it's just nasty yeah it's the whole thing they said it's like projecting on of like your poor relationship with your partner that like
Starting point is 00:12:22 that's why that happened so like at the end of the day we can blame the patriarchy for it because that is it's the cycle of that another person said the way i was shot from the examples melissa gay i'll be his first kiss vomiting moji vomiting moji arrest them in all caps i agree with that i think there needs to be like i'm gonna think of a better word for this because the word that came to mind is it's not a good one um and i would think we would need to redefine like we would we would take what people are using this term for and change it but like there needs to be like a weekend seminar where we deprogram these people from this like an intensive kind of trick because it's something is fundamentally wrong here and you can also go
Starting point is 00:13:13 to therapy what's what i'm saying that it's like but i think we need at this point like an intervention level of therapy but like a an intensive weekend yeah to start with and then it's like a retreat you're gonna have to graduate out of this yeah we'll for we'll call it a retreat they will love that the women yeah those white women kill for god they love a retreat they love a wellness retreat throwing health and wellness they are signed up yep tell them they're celery juice they're fucking there oh maybe that's our next venture maybe so does that all for yours yeah which i had been sitting on that one for a while because i wasn't sure how to uh how to broach the subject i was a little nervous about it but um
Starting point is 00:14:06 seemed like a lot of people had thoughts and feelings too i'm pretty sure it's a oh god who did it um who's the comedian so there's now there's more of them but like back in the day when there's like not that many comedians women blonde woman it's not amy schumer it's the one who's not there you go i was gonna give the other personal story that to give identifying she i think it's her who has a joke of being like or maybe it is amy schumer it's one of them it's a if it's amy schumer she probably took it from yeah but it was basically being like no i know i want to fuck my son and it's like it was amy schumer i'm pretty sure it's that has always killed me because it's like talking about boy moms and being like this like weird competition
Starting point is 00:14:49 and then finally being like no no you don't no but i want to fuck my son it's like oh god okay and it really does feel like they're they're so close to that statement yeah like i think if you're even miles within that statement like you need therapy desperately he's my i'll always be his first kiss you were there that's that's what i'm saying i'm like unfortunately ma'am what other first would you like to be like this it is we are the slipper the slope has slipped we are sliding right down we are already there this is the bad place figure this shit out okay then we have writer number one are they wrong for not allowing a boyfriend's parents to babysit their son five percent so the writer's wrong 95 so the writer is not wrong if they constantly want to cancel i
Starting point is 00:15:34 would always have a backup even when they volunteer themselves it seems like they want to be a part of their grandchild's life for show but not for any real reason and i hope your boyfriend can notice that too they might be better at babysitting when the child's a bit older but definitely don't leave them unsupervised with the child for a good five years until you know for sure until you know for sure they know how to do it and they can be trusted i don't to me it wasn't even from what the writer said is not even like about them being trusted it's just that they don't show up they don't even come yeah and then i think the whole thing is like well if you dropped the kid off there then like do you trust them for them being that flaky do you not trust them to like do you
Starting point is 00:16:10 think they would just like leave the kid there if they had to like go around errands or whatever like what's the level of like foresight within that but i think like you should never no one should ever babysit or watch your kids who does not want to just because I think like in general when we don't want to do things and someone with ADHD like I don't I have a very I like rarely do things I don't want to do like I have a really hard time doing that and that to me is like people I think specifically parents think that like that instinct kicks in and someone does not want to do that like you you're relying on an instinct that they that they don't have there and like it's just a lot of like it's like when people are like oh my god this babysitter so
Starting point is 00:16:56 expensive i want to pay babysitter two dollars an hour and i go do you do you do you want someone who's only being paid two dollars an hour who's not making any money who's like barely breaking even on gas what's their motivation of being there so this episode is brought to you by Accenture when your advertising operations fall out of sync everything else follows Spotify and Accenture are working together to reinvent the rhythm of ad sales using automation analytics and smarter workflows to simplify campaign delivery and access better data across the business the result less time spent on operations more time connecting brands with the moments and fandoms that

Starting point is 00:18:42 Sorry. This food looks really good. Every time I, like, go to the other tab to, like, read your responses, it, like, takes me out of the votes and takes me right back to the homepage. And Melissa, this meal looks so good. Why? I have sent myself so many things. Oh, my God. I feel like I should send it to both of us. What is it?
Starting point is 00:18:59 Oh, my God. It's lemon potato sheet pan with garlic dip. i sent it to you too it looks real good uh and then we've got writer number two would they be wrong for not going to dad's birthday party two percent said the writer is wrong 98 said the writer is not wrong as a person who has not talked to their sperm donor in almost five years i say fuck your dad and go to the concert you would have a sucky time anyways and lose out on monday on money if you went went as in going to um the birthday party he would not do the same for you so have fun and let him mope because men deserve to be sad i love that if they don't come to your party you are not at all required to go to theirs unless they're terminally ill also this sounds so
Starting point is 00:19:51 awkward and horrible drinking with your dad's friends no buy him a car or dinner another time but don't go to the party i don't even think you need to do the the last two i also don't think even if someone's terminally ill you gotta go no unless it's gonna make you feel better unless it's gonna make you feel better yeah god damn this fucking thing keeps showing up it looks so good okay you know what i saw the other day they look really good what you know how you do chicken and biscuits um somebody did a beef like basically making a pot roast and then putting the biscuits inside of that and i know when i did that my nipples just got hard yeah when i did that with the um the biscuit mix that uh what's his name yeah our guy i know r.i.p bob yeah bob um r.i.p
Starting point is 00:20:45 i did that with the chickens it was so good so like that beef dude i could do i could go for a fucking pot roast yeah pot roast you put the um carrots and potatoes in it no you know celery i was gonna say the way that i go foaming at the mouth for a soft carrot and some soft celery there is i used as a kid i would have chicken noodle soup and i would start by picking out all the carrots and all the celery and just mush them smacking them between my gums delicious delicious so fucking good oh so fucking good and a puree is not the same no no no no it's not it's not the same no god that sounds so fucking good anyways i have chicken cutlets for lunch i'll be fine okay then we have i'm so sorry i'm so
Starting point is 00:21:40 excited to talk about mine we have my wrong of the week molly rudder 98 said molly's wrong two percent said molly is not wrong i do want to note for anybody who might have been confused this image that i used of her was uh clearly like a very jokey like look at my this is the follow-up when she did the video like a day and a half later being like got my makeup done like this is this is the makeup that she had in the video where she was alluding that she was a victim of domestic violence but the only time you saw her in this makeup was her in front of the police car with the sirens and the lights and her like holding her face like shaking looking like she was crying and then this was how she read this was her afterwards being like so i got my makeup done
Starting point is 00:22:18 like again over 24 hours later it's like the follow-up and it's like what the fuck okay and so do you view this as spooky zombie makeup melissa it's first of all it's glam there's eye shadow it's a black eye and a busted lip where's the spooky zombie part girl i have no words i had to zoom in but okay okay so the worst part about this is not the undisclosed ad but the disregard of triggers when it comes to abusive relationships just like megan said there's so many ways this ad could have been done without triggering and traumatizing people it's insensitive clickbait shame for all involved agree I was following this live and even though I definitely wasn't a fan before I was still so worried about her since I have friends who have been through
Starting point is 00:23:09 abusive relationships I even put it in the back of my mind to check on in on her later when I did and I saw that it was all sponsorship I was so fucking upset domestic violence is not clickbait yeah the other part that I've seen like a lot of people talk about which I don't want to say is like I don't find super relevant but a lot of people are saying it as like this makes it even more malicious and egregious on her end and like there are certain things like I I didn't know so I'm not going to assume that she knew but I guess October is domestic violence awareness month and people were like for her to do this during and I was like I didn't know that so like I don't necessarily think that like that was an intentional malicious thing I think like it does overlap with
Starting point is 00:23:49 Halloween and I think if she was doing if it was not Halloween season at all and she did all of this and like let's say domestic violence awareness month was in march and like then i would go oh yeah that totally makes like that feels very intentional then but i didn't know that it was in october and i don't think that it's like blatantly obvious that she would and then specifically would have done sorry specifically would have done that intentionally because it is a we now it's an undisclosed halloween sponsorship so like that opportunity wouldn't have happened do you know what I'm saying like so I think that like that does make it even worse and like I will now always know that October is domestic violence awareness month um but I don't think that that
Starting point is 00:24:35 makes this better or worse from on her end because I'm like I don't know that she intentionally did that but I also don't think it I think it's always bad it's always important like it's always incredibly offensive regardless if it's like the month of acknowledging that um so yeah um so oh my instagram's glitching but i need to make sure you know that molly is wrong yeah i i don't think that people who voted the other way because i'm so curious about um not to make it again about her but like the i i don't see pretty much anyone ever like really defending her and she has been at the on the receiving end of like i think a lot of really unwarranted hate and i think there's an issue for a lot of people specifically starting making
Starting point is 00:25:26 content now where they have a really hard time taking constructive criticism and so when when there is unwarranted hate and then there is like warranted constructive criticism you kind of just lean you kind of just like it feels like everyone's mad at you and so you just like piss everybody off and that to me is i'm like that's like we shouldn't be doing this full time then Like if you have to so desperately rely on what people think of you and like you have to solve everything immediately, all of those kinds of things, like it's just like this is not the right space for you because, you know, not everybody's just a hater and not everybody's just like that. Like there are some people who like are just like fat phobic fucking assholes who other people have defended you against. And then there are people who are offended rightfully so by you making light of domestic violence. like those are so fucking different um but she's done i think at least three quote-unquote apology
Starting point is 00:26:18 videos now one of which she uploaded and she like got like 80 to 90 of the way through and then decided she didn't like it was gonna start over and she like turns her phone off and then just like picks it up and starts recording from the beginning again and then like uploads that and then people were like what happened like what do you mean like it just like she like drops her face and she's like I'm like starts it over and like that whole clip is still in the middle of it and then she like deleted that and then people were like what are you trying to hide and then she like re-uploaded that but like every time she's doing this she like cannot cannot help but smile and I'm like and this is where I say you've tried three times and you can't get through it
Starting point is 00:26:58 without looking like you're about to laugh I'm gonna say right now I would prefer a notes app I would prefer notes app yeah I prefer a notes app with a screenshot yeah if you feel uncomfortable and when you are under pressure you tend to you tend to have a little smile that is that is that happens to people you after the third attempt i think you know that about you and now our as your audience they also know that about you no tap no tap that fucking shit like yeah but she's still basically saying like people are offended by my zombie makeup and thought it was like in poor taste to do that makeup during domestic violence awareness month and i was like they know like she's literally rewriting history because she thinks that no one has seen the videos
Starting point is 00:27:38 even though they're all still up on other accounts okay so yeah i never heard of this person until you brought her to my attention and i wish i still hadn't heard of her you're welcome but thank you for the entertainment you're welcome this episode is brought to you by accenture when your advertising operations fall out of sync everything else follows. Starting point is 00:29:54 the side of police but i also i would laugh would have been he he ha ha and i go well i guess that's the common thread someone said my real question is what was this for and was it worth it it was for crime that's what it was for was it worth it i mean he got away like three times before what did he even get like how much money like i don't know yeah um so i think to him perhaps and he also felt wronged because he used to work there and got fired yeah i also think that this is one of those cases where if this is the length to go through that you are doing to get money or whatever i have to assume you have chosen the easier avenues and you have exhausted those i also don't think it was about the money though i think it was because he was being petty just
Starting point is 00:30:49 tormenting them yeah i do think there is a actually a quite large aspect of this that is just psychological warfare it's like moving things like ever so slightly to like make someone be like wait but i swear this yeah yeah um but he was just like really dedicated to the craft very dedicated but do you think he was doing yoga like leading up to like really work on how limber he was i think there was a plan there was definitely a plan and he got after the third time i don't remember how many times it was actually but what whatever the second to the last time was he was like i got like i'm just fucking with these people and then that last time they were like no you're getting fucked yeah uh someone else said oh my gosh this picture y'all were describing it in
Starting point is 00:31:39 the episode and i was like surely he wasn't fully covered head to toe but boy was i wrong that's why i kept saying peanut that's why i asked melissa for clarification i said peanut butter baby and she said yeah like peanut butter baby and then i looked at the picture i said peanut butter baby like there's no other way to describe it other than like that's the level of opacity of of the sheer volume and the surface area that is covered eyelids eyelids whole body slick he literally looks like a statue made he does i don't i don't know what galvanized steel or something like that And then it goes with his last name. Jose Galvin.
Starting point is 00:32:25 It took me a second. I was like, Jose Steele. Kind of sexy. You should try something else. Thank you. Or he's Mr. Daniel Steele. Yeah, this is the. You know who Daniel Steele is?
Starting point is 00:32:38 Isn't that the writer? Yeah. Who does sexy books. Actually, I think they're more mystery. I don't know. It sounds sexy. One of those. Hey, sometimes mystery is sexy.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Mystery is sexy. all right well that is the end of this episode it was a very fun episode um i hope you're enjoying your tuesday next tuesday make sure you get out and vote if you haven't already and then enjoy your thursday with don't blame me plus some halloween goodness yes and also depending on what states you're in if you're in the state of california and you're looking at all the props and the measures and everything and you're seeing people on tiktok who like align with your views usually that you're like oh i'm gonna just like listen for that the biggest advice i can give everybody is to look who is funding the propositions see where the money is coming from
Starting point is 00:33:30 and uh this is not the instance where i ever think wow the wrong person made a really great point that doesn't really happen in this because uh they're spending absolute like millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars in the advertising and they have vested interest and um you will never have vested interest with billionaires at least the billionaires fund in the props gotcha yeah yeah oh no no not what's mackenzie i love my i love my mackenzie girl hard mackenzie ex-basos yeah um but no in the uh in the sense of when there's a republican billionaire yes that's also melinda gates too yep yeah but when white male republican billionaires are saying you know we actually
Starting point is 00:34:19 just agree on this topic i go i don't think so no i think something they think there must be more to this yeah we will see you see you next tuesday
