It's a great platform that lets us hear from the fans and reaction theater with Anchors leave a message feature. So when you create your account with Anchor, you can also utilize their feature

Starting point is 00:01:06 and you're listening to Dirty Moe Radio. Outside, door, bumper, clear the 18th. Best car I had here in a long time. You're going to do it. You're going to win it. Right with you. You're clear. Check the flag.
Starting point is 00:01:19 You win. Do you want inside information? You will not be able to repeat it to your kids, but you will learn and you will laugh. Door, bumper, clear is on. Hey, everybody. I'm T.J. Majors, Spotter of the 88 Cup car, 7X-50, and the 29. truck alongside of me, my usual co-host. Brett Griffin, spotter for Clint Boyer and Elliot Sadler, and I think Kristen stole one of my
Starting point is 00:01:50 waters. Oh, hey, guys. It's KB and I accidentally moved your water. Setting a new record for attendance. Moved and lipstick around the top of it are not the same thing. So this is an attendance record for Kristen in a row. Where's my prize? Well, you can just get another tattoo.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Okay. You can have another tattoo for that. Thanks to one main. Financial for bringing this show to you guys today from Exalta Studios. And speaking of Exaltta, don't forget to head over to the revamped exaltor racing.com website to get all of the latest news, photos, and schedule for Dale's number 88, Exalta Chevrolet. Listen, it's a fresh coat of paint on the website. You just love saying that.
Starting point is 00:02:28 How about our One Main News last week? Halla. I think One Main coming back is mainly because of this podcast. I think it's this podcast and our seven followers. We're getting a lot out of it. Listen, there's one main reason why they're coming back. Well play. Tushay. Tushay.
Starting point is 00:02:46 I went back and looked at L.A.'s stats. I'm like, man, he's got a win. He's leading the points. But we're definitely way more important. Way more important. Yeah. And those two Canadian followers we have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:57 We're international. Global. Global. Worldwide. So great news for them and their brand. You know, they had a recent merger with Springleaf, and it's been awesome getting to know all those guys. Bob Herzler, Micah, Conrad, Scott Parker, a lot of
Starting point is 00:03:10 and coming to the racetrack. And it's been, it's been great to get to know them and have an opportunity to keep this thing alive for two more years. So we all got a job to do and it'll be fun doing it. What you think of Michigan? Dude, it was kind of weird. Why was it weird? It was like rain, no rain, heavy rain, truck race, you know, postponed. Rain and road American.
Starting point is 00:03:34 We can. Let's just go back. Yeah, we would like to give a shout out to Betty Jane France. This very classy woman passed away. I heard nothing but good stories about her, so I want to take a minute and talk about her for a second. I mean, I didn't really know. I've never really met her, but I've just heard a lot of classy stories about her. Yeah, I admire all females in the sport who accomplished things,
Starting point is 00:03:59 and she's done a lot of great charity work and obviously stood behind a man. And behind every man, there's one hell of a woman, so I hate to hear of her passing. I know that family's going through some tough times. Yeah. So anyway, all right, on to Michigan. Michigan. How was your Michigan? Man, I...
Starting point is 00:04:17 We had four or five down, six, seven. I only had a... Actually, I was 30 because we broke with the best car we've had all year, which sucked. But Michigan, man, not companion weekends from here easy because I only do the cup car. So Friday was a five-hour day. Saturday was a four-hour day. You don't remember Saturday, do you? Sunday was a four-hour day.
Starting point is 00:04:36 So, man, I went to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the exfinite. race and which one live in Ann Arbor? No, the one in Adrian, Michigan. Ah, Adrian. Yep. Little bar there named Frickers we usually hit. So what about you? Did you get wet Saturday?
Starting point is 00:04:50 I washed it rain for a while. It definitely screwed up my Saturday. Getting out of the track of a decent time plans. You know, you always look forward to getting the race over with and getting back to the hotel at a decent time. But that kind of messed that up. And it gets dark there at like nine and we stay in Ann Arbor. So it's like an hour to the hotel.
Starting point is 00:05:08 So by the time you drive to the hotel. tail. You almost don't even want to do anything. You just want to go to sleep. But it was fun. We didn't end up in the truck race like I thought we should have. That kid's in trouble now, right? Tyler's in trouble with the chase. We definitely need to win. He needs to take, you know, we need to get a win in Mossport. Or where do they run after Mossport? I think they're off. Martinsville. When is their chase start? What's their first chase race?
Starting point is 00:05:36 That's what I'm trying to figure out. For Cup at Chicago, for experience. It's Kentucky. It might be Chicago. And for trucks, I'm a fan and have no idea. Where to go? I am too. How was Rhode America for you?
Starting point is 00:05:48 Did you go? How was it? Race day or all weekend? Race day. How did you pull that off? Well, we had all, with the one main announcement, there was a lot going on, so it was easier for me to be in the office. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Rhode America was good, though. You were here all day Saturday. I was in Rhode America all day Saturday. Or what about Friday? You were here all day? No, I needed to go home and pack. My rain bag That you didn't use
Starting point is 00:06:14 Rhode America is good New Hampshire, Los Vegas, Talladega So what's the race before Loud? We're really in tune This is great industry insight You guys are getting live and direct Damn it, Josh That was Josh giving TJ the finger
Starting point is 00:06:34 If you couldn't hear it So needless to say TJ's guy has to win And Josh is slow finding anything on Google You know what? I've just noticed Josh is like 7 foot 9 and he's got one of the, looks like his mouse is like one of the smaller ones. So all the exit rows were taken on the flight home from New Hampshire.
Starting point is 00:06:52 So Josh and I, we normally send the exit rows. Elliot and Big John. They don't, but they have more leg room because we're so tall. So you usually get there first of the airplane is what you're telling us. I took a picture of Josh. I'll have to tweet it out of him trying to write his race report like this with T-Rex arms. I felt so bad because he's so long and he's in a regular seat trying to type out a Chicago. All right, so he's got to win Mossport or Chicago.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Yeah. The odds are probably going to be better at Chicago. Has he won there before? No, but we've definitely got, I mean, he's definitely better at Mount Hasse. Although he was running good at Mossport last year, but got caught up in a late race. Incident, he qualified top five, which I think is pretty good for your first time there, too. So I hope he does well this weekend. I'd like to, you know, you always want to run for a championship if you can.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Yeah, it's fun. I'd like for him to do well there. Cool. You guys ready to go on, spot on, spot off? Yep. Sure. All right, spot on, spot off. Kyle Larson's burnout at Michigan.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Spot on, man, the guy won his first race. Let him, I don't think he was, he was, that was pure, to me, that was pure excitement and joy to me. I mean, that was, that was a guy that won his first race, was excited. You know, it was raw emotion coming out of there from what I saw. He didn't have any, he didn't have any, you know, Kyle, I mean, when he spun down, did you watch it a little bit of it? A little bit of it. When he spun down the first time, you could just tell.
Starting point is 00:08:14 He had to look to him like, man, this dude's excited right now. Like, it was exciting looking. I've never seen anybody spin down through into Victory Lane and land it there. So you could tell he was really excited. And just the way he was bouncing off the chip when he was doing that. And, you know, a lot of these guys take care of their, they take care of their motor stuff pretty good. They don't usually run it off the chip like that. But he was, he was.
Starting point is 00:08:37 He ran it into the grass. Yeah, he wasn't. He's just excited. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. spot off to all the fans who are not happy about it, because number one, there's no rule against it.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Number two, it's his first wind ever. You know, win, not wind. Yeah, this first win ever. He's his first win ever. It's his first win. So let this guy go out and do whatever burnout he wants to do. I mean, I think he's a real mellow guy. So to see him enthusiastic after the race in his interviews on Twitter,
Starting point is 00:09:02 and this guy was still up at 2 in the morning and sent a tweet. So good for him, man. Really excited for him. Because let's, I mean, just 99 races, isn't that what it was? since Chip Canassie That's a lot longer than I thought it would take him He's finished second a lot He's had opportunities to move guys and win races
Starting point is 00:09:17 The first one I remember Was him at Las Vegas when he ran second to Kyle Busch He could have moved Kyle Busch In my opinion he should have moved Kyle Busch He didn't so he waited to quote do it the right way Good for him and his team Yeah I don't also you know That it was getting to a point there
Starting point is 00:09:33 Where he was getting close to winning But something would always happen And it was getting to the point where like We call it Clemsoning in college football Well, it was to the point where it was like, is he going to win? Clemsoning is a verb for choking because Clemson would always do so well with their schedule, and then they would play a big game and they would choke. So it became a national phenomenon.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Josh will attested as he watches college football, Clemsoning. So on the back of your shirt, it's hashtag Clemsoning. Yeah, let's make a fun of them. You should go wear that into the engineering room because half of them are from Clemson. So Dave Ellen's walked by Kevin's office. office this morning. Kevin is Elliot's crew chief and I'm sitting there talking to Kevin. Dave's a Clemson guy. He sticks his head in and he goes, you asshole. What is this on the back of your shirt? And why do you think it's appropriate? I said, we beat you five of the last six
Starting point is 00:10:25 years. That's why I think it's appropriate. He just walked off, put his head down. He was mad. Yeah. It doesn't take much to get him mad though. I'm glad. Yeah, no, but you don't like choking. You don't like clumseting. No. Whatever you want to call it. Can I use it in like regular every day? Absolutely. Great. Climsoning? I plan on it. Yeah. We'll, we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll, tweet about it later. We'll get some of them clowns on the Orange Army. They got this whole hashtag all in. You aren't all in. You're all into Deshawn Watson. So we had Michigan on our car.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Yep. I've never had so much love and hate in the same weekend. Ohio State hated you. I've had people called to me yelling, go blue. And then I hear somebody like, oh, that car wrecks. It was like a love or hate. Well, you alienated Michigan State fans. You alienated
Starting point is 00:11:08 Ohio State fans. I mean, that's Notre Dame. fans. There's a lot of people that hate Michigan, man. It was big. I mean, I've never seen somebody, I've never seen so many people like, hey, can I have your uniform? Hey, I want to burn that. You know, it was the complete, like, it was either love or hate. It was, obviously that was. But hey, that generates a lot of press and a lot of us. It was actually, it was fun. It was cool to have them on the car. I really, yeah. I also think bridging the college football with NASCAR was a really great idea. It's brilliant. Tech did it. Michigan did it. It's a great time of year to do it, for sure. spot on spot off NASCAR silly season so far
Starting point is 00:11:41 I don't remember silly season ever starting this early and then completely sucking for as long as it has we had Stuart Haas come out in what February and say we're leaving Chevrolet we're going to Ford and it has been complete radio silence we're hearing some things you know you keep hearing that Chris Gail who is the crew chief on the 18 Xfinity car is going to Truex to be his crew chief
Starting point is 00:12:04 out in Denver Colorado you keep hearing names like Ty Dillon Casey Mears Here's Ryan Newman. I mean, there's guys that we keep hearing about, but the first domino hasn't failed yet. So whenever that first domino falls, we may see some movement. But right now, man, it's pretty quiet out there. Yeah, there's just rumors.
Starting point is 00:12:23 Nothing's set yet. Like, it's a lot of the same names, but there's no proof behind anything yet. Obviously, there's usually some truth behind most rumors with it. Yeah. I got to say spot on for how it started and then spot off for the Lull. We used to start silly season in August, September, and then for some reason it got moved up to like Coke 600 week. No matter what was going on, starting in May, you would start hearing these rumors. And I've never seen it happen, you know, this early in the year with kind of what went down.
Starting point is 00:12:54 I mean, Clint's silly season started last year because he signed for 2017, was in a lame duck situation for 16, ended up a Harry Scott on a one-year deal. So like this has just been a weird silly season 2016 has. I don't know that the charter thing doesn't play. into that a little bit, you know? Yeah, maybe. Yeah, it could. I'm not sure how, you know, I haven't thought about it enough to figure out how, but I'm sure it probably has an effect at some point.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Yeah. Somewhere down the line. Spot on, spot off. Darlington has best track for throwback schemes. Spot on. I'm all for it. It's kind of unique like that. I like it.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I think Darlington should do it every year and we should keep up. And the more throwback, the better. Yeah, I'm spot on too. I'm from Pagelon, South Carolina. It's only 40 minutes away. This is kind of like our Fenway. You know, it's our historical place that we all go and we feel like we're back in the 70s and 80s. And it's throwback racing.
Starting point is 00:13:47 And so I think it's a great place. When you look at the weekend and you look at all the different paint schemes, man, it's nostalgic. It's cool for race fans. There's also a lot of people growing mustaches for this. Are you spot on or off for that? Josh is going to shave his beard and just have a mustache. No, Josh is not going to do that. How about if you just shave your mustache and look like Amish?
Starting point is 00:14:07 I'll buy you some suspenders and one of those hats. That would make Kelsey so happy. Kelsey loves Amish people. She loves those fake TV shows that are about Amish people, Amish mafia, that she thinks are real. All she wanted to do in Mid Ohio was to see a horse and buggy, so we found her one. We actually have Amish listeners, and they can't even listen to the radio. That's how popular we are.
Starting point is 00:14:29 What do you think Josh's Amish name would be? Joshua. Jedediah. That's a Boulder guy. What's the bowler guy in Kingpin? What kind of bet can we do for Josh to have to shave his mustache? No, no. And get suspenders and one of those plain.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Your hair probably grows fast, so it's not even a big deal. Yeah. You should just take the mustache. Just do it, man. Get one of those hats. Is it a pilgrim looking hat or is it different? Yeah, it's Pilgrimish. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:56 But it doesn't have any shininess on it because they're not allowed to bring attention. Your Amish name is Pilgrim. The Amish are. Okay. Let's hope it meets up with Roy Munson. Roy Munson. You've been Munson. How do we get talking about Amish?
Starting point is 00:15:10 Oh, God, who knows? Josh's beard. Hey, are your cousins going to come to the race since they are your friends, those crazy people? No. All my buddies that usually come to this race are all doing other things this weekend. So it's a chill weekend for me, which is usually not the case at Darlington. Right. Not that chill on the weekend.
Starting point is 00:15:28 We got a fantasy football draft on Friday night. We do. We got a big fantasy football draft. We have a huge J.R.M fan event at the by-low next to the racetrack on Friday. Yeah, five to six. Five to six. drivers will be there to sign. Is everything lower on shelf? Is Kristen going to be there? Kristen will be there. It's Amish Josh going to be there? Amish Josh. And the lady in black will be there.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Can Josh people, can Josh people? Can Amish people drink? No. What? They can't make like homemade beer. Guy in Kingpin does. Right, because there's the picture of truth of the Amish community. Do you know they don't have to pay taxes? I do not know that. I grew up near Lancaster, PA, so Mennonites at Amish. I love you. for saying Lancaster because all these idiots. They're Lancaster. What the hell is Lancaster?
Starting point is 00:16:14 Louisville. Louville. Yeah, it's Lancaster. Yeah. I say Lancaster, too, but I'm from Buffalo. Let me help you with that. It's Lancaster. And let me help you with it.
Starting point is 00:16:23 It's Louisville. It's Louisville. It's Louisville. Utah. Clemson. You want to go to Utah? You want to go to Illinois? There's no noise in Illinois, dumb ass.
Starting point is 00:16:33 St. Louis. Yeah. You know, since we got Kristen Mingle, And now we got Jha-Jah Amish Joss Amish Joss com
Starting point is 00:16:41 I tried to buy Kristen Mangle.com The guy wanted to charge me $1,900 for it We need to go fund me We'll get our listeners That's actually a good idea
Starting point is 00:16:53 Why did you try to buy that First of all? I was just out of curiosity I just wanted to be Because she's trying to get hooked up She wants her own Freak and social site Wow
Starting point is 00:17:01 I would just link it back to You're working on your future Could you imagine the photo album in this thing? Do you see what she's wearing today? Yes. There's no way that dress goes. It's like, hey, look at me, but don't look at me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Yeah. Spot on, spot off. You're like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You're like, I'm not going to do this. Look at me, I'm being selfish. Holla. Yeah. I love our country.
Starting point is 00:17:31 She's definitely saying holla. Oh, we can tell. You look patriotic today. Yeah. Oh, say, can you see? You guys are serious. So wait a minute. So you actually, you were just checking on it,
Starting point is 00:17:44 and then you actually talked to the guy about it. I emailed him. So this is more than just looking it up. This is serious. Well, it wasn't on Go Daddy. So Go Daddy, normally you can go there. It says the cost. You had to click on it, and some other guy owned it.
Starting point is 00:17:57 I just want my cut. Was it a follower of the show? I doubt it. I'm sure it was. Spot on, spot off. Three first time winners, There's an all three top series this past weekend. I'm going to murder teaching me.
Starting point is 00:18:08 I love when Josh picks something that we have nothing to say but spot on. I'm going to say spot off only because I despise how the media and NASCAR want to cram the youth down our throats. It has to be organic. For this thing to truly work. We need these guys to win. We need them to do what they're doing. And then we all cling to it. We don't need to be told how great they are.
Starting point is 00:18:32 We need to be shown how great they are. Yes, we all realize Jimmy Johnson, Dale Jr., Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffel, they're all over 40 years old. They're all going to go away in the next three to five years. But it has to be organic how they're replaced. That's the only reason I'm going spot off on this deal. Yeah, I mean, I'll go spot on for three, you know, three first time winners, which is cool. But, you know, it needs to, we need guys to come up naturally, not, you know. Be shoved down your throat.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Yeah, not to be forced as much. you know, it's kind of, and a lot of them might not be the next best thing either. They might just be in the best stuff. Yeah. They got a lot to prove still. I mean, we saw guys Casey Atwood. I thought the guy was going to be special. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Who? Casey Atwood, yeah, he came in. He was a big deal, and then he signed a big Dodge deal, and then he flopped. Where's he now? Atwood Farms, I don't know. Definitely not here. Yeah. Nice guy.
Starting point is 00:19:32 It's unfortunate that some of them guys get here and don't work. You know, you also see, and we can go off on a tangent, but you see some of these guys get here, and you see their dads ruin their career. You see their moms ruin their career. You can even see guys' wives ruin their career. So, you know, there has to come a time where you separate, and in case he at was dad never separated. I think Lugano got to that point to where his image was kind of being tarnished because of some of the things Tom was doing, and he made a move to actually hire a guy. I know Warren Vigas that used to work for me. Like you need real representation, not genetic representation.
Starting point is 00:20:05 They're growing up. But a lot of these guys are young when they come in here too. So their dads are there a lot. You know, I mean, I probably would be too. If I had a son that was racing, he was 18 years old, I'd probably be there too. You know, there comes a point to where, you know, they need to just step back and like, look. I want to play dad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:22 You're here. You've got to step back at some point. Most time when you get to these levels, like of the truck series and stuff, that's when you need to start stepping back. The kids got to go and learn. Yep. You know, and he's got to, if he goes down there and wrecks Johnny Sauter, he's got to answer to Johnny Sauter. That's how you grow up fast, and that's what it needs to be done. Well, when you watch a coach's kid play all the way through high school, well, then he goes to college.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Well, guess what? Dad doesn't go with you and standing on the sideline. Then he goes to pros. Dad's not standing there. Our dads in racing are heavily involved and heavily invested because somebody had to fund this kid's career, right? It's expensive to race. It's cheap to buy a basketball and a set of basketball shoes. you start talking about racing,
Starting point is 00:21:02 you're hundreds of thousands of dollars to run competitive national series. So it's hard for the dad to realize when it's time to draw that line and say, I need to go play dad, and I need to hire nice people to be around them to support management, social needs, digital needs, and all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:21:16 You're better off it once they get to 18 and get to the truck series or so. You're better off hiring somebody to be there. Like TJ and I. Yeah. Like us? When did Elliot? Elliot was 6 foot 9.
Starting point is 00:21:30 like third grade, I didn't need anybody ever. Because he was going to play college basketball. So Elliot's defining moment with his dad was this. Elliot ran for his father all the way through late models. And then they sold everything they had and they went and bought a nationwide car. Back then it was a Bush Series car. Then they show up and they do really well.
Starting point is 00:21:50 They qualify like seventh and finish well. And I mean, that's when you're racing against Darrell Waltrip, Dale Earnhardt. They're on an open trailer. These guys are on big haulers. So that's when Elliot starts turning head. so he gets hired by Gary Bechtel. The first weekend with Gary Bechtel, Elliot's dad got on Channel 1 on the radio
Starting point is 00:22:06 and said something that the team needed to be doing. The crew chief said, go get his radio, take it from him, and don't give it back. So Elliot and his dad both realized, okay, this is our defining moment, but they defined it for us. Sometimes it doesn't happen that way.
Starting point is 00:22:21 If you don't have a crew chief for an owner that has the balls to come tell you that, it just goes on and on and on and on. That's where you have a Casey Atwood situation. Got it. Yeah. We're going to take a quick break. Quick.
Starting point is 00:22:34 Quick. Calla. Hey, Junior Nation. Now more than ever, exclusive, entertaining, and free content from the world of Dale Earnhardt Jr. is no further away than your fingertips. It's all thanks to Dale Jr.'s Dirty Moe Radio presented by Exalta. All eight Dirtymoor radio podcasts are available on iTunes, SoundCloud, Stitcher, and of course, Dale Jr.com.
Starting point is 00:22:54 So whether you're at home, at work, in the gym, on the run, or just hanging out, Dirtymore Radio gives Junior Nation its newest and most versatile way yet to plug directly into the world of Earnhardt, anytime, anywhere. Hey, Junior Nation, J.RM. On Tour 2016 is on tour once again on September 2nd at the Bilo located in Darlington, South Carolina. Stop by for an afternoon filled with all things racing, including an autograph session with J.R.M. drivers, Justin Allgaier, Alex Bowman, and Elliott Sadler from 5 to 6 p.m. in tons of giveaways, including race tickets and J.R.M. swag items. We can't wait to see you there. Are you guys ready for some fast lane? I like slow lane. That's you picking your driver for this weekend.
Starting point is 00:23:38 You know the fast lane is the slow lane on 77. Oh, my God. That's true, though, isn't it? I hate 77. I do too. So I'm going to give TJ and Brett a topic to debate, and we are going to alternate who responds first. Each will get 30 seconds to voice their opinion,
Starting point is 00:23:52 and whoever went first will get a 30-second rebuttal. For the topics will pertain to racing, and one will be off the wall. Brett, you're going first. Kyle Larson became the 27th driver to win an all three top NASCAR series. Do you think Kyle has a good chance to take home the cup this year? I do think he has a chance, and I say that because our chase consists of a lot of downforce tracks, which are mile and a half tracks are larger.
Starting point is 00:24:17 He runs extremely well at all of those. He's been the show this year at all of those. I think he has to be in the conversation just based on talent, how much speed they've had a mile and a half tracks. I think he's in the conversation, but I don't think he is going to be much of a threat. We're getting ready to go back to the 16 package with these tracks for the rest of the year.
Starting point is 00:24:35 And we know who's dominated them. So I think he's going to be in the conversation, but there's just too many of the other ones to outrace him. I think Kyle has a great package, no matter what year we're talking about. So I'm going to stick with... I bet you do. I'm going to stick with this guy has a chance to win the cup.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Children. T.J. Chevrolet is back in the conversation on Contrable. attending for wins in a championship. Why do you think that is? Well, I think, I know the guys in our shop have been working extremely hard, and we've got, I feel like Jimmy and Chase and, you know, Casey if he gets in, are going to have a great shot at running for a championship,
Starting point is 00:25:16 and we've got some other Chevys in there, too, with Kevin and them. So I think we've all been working all summer to find some speed, and I think it's starting to show up a little bit now. So I think it'll be, the Chevys will be tough. I think two things contributed to Chevrolet, running up front this weekend and ultimately winning. One of them is I think Hendrick brought more horsepower. The other one is I think Toyota Sandbag a little bit.
Starting point is 00:25:39 I think they're sitting back and waiting for Chicago. They don't want to get caught with any rules and fractions, have anything crazy go down. They're playing it safe, sitting back. Watch Chicago. We'll see them right back up front. I don't think they're playing it safe because I saw Kyle spin out by himself off a turn and forward. That's not playing it really safe when you're doing that.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Even Denny in practice as well. You know, they looked like they were struggling to. weekend they looked like they were grasping a little bit you know maybe having to drive a little harder than what they're used to here in the last you know six eight months even more than that probably but I think they've been having to drive a little harder this last week who do you think has the coolest throwback scheme for this weekend in Darlington Brett man there's so many you look at Greg Biffle in the Hooters car yeah that's good that's cool which I love you know you
Starting point is 00:26:24 look at Clint Boyers you look at Dale Juniors and the ghost yeah I mean you look at the petty which is I obviously a big deal. The Earnhardt piece on Jeffrey's car, it's a beautiful car. Jimmy Johnson paying tribute to Del Earnhardt. Man, I need a minute. I got another session here. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:41 There's so many. Even like Derek, nope, he's got a cool one. Yeah. What's his? His Purulator. Oh. Isn't it the Purulator car? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:52 I thought he was on the Purulator deal that you won the 500 with. I mean, we all know that car. You know, but it's cool to, it's hard to pick a favorite one. Can we not just pick the weekend because it's, It's an awesome weekend. People, they wear white pants in the garage for, gosh, sake. I mean, that's pretty. Another cool one was the, sorry to interrupt your.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Yeah, you're interrupting. He's talking about. So my pick, my rebuttal, and then Josh can interrupt, is David Pearson throwback for the Woodbrothers. Man, I'm a South Carolina guy, David Pearson's from South Carolina. I love the Wood Brothers, so hands down. I've actually got a shirt that I may just wear this weekend just for the hell of it. It's an old David Pearson T-shirt. Are you shaving your beard just for the mustache?
Starting point is 00:27:30 to shave just my mustache and give me a hat since Josh. Hey, you know what would be cool is that they let us run the chrome numbers on the gray ghost. I know, that would be cool. Josh, what are you going on? Yeah, go ahead, Josh. This is our show, you're just a producer. Yeah. Go ahead, Josh. No, no.
Starting point is 00:27:45 You're sure. Oh, now his feelings are hurt. He is. Look at him. No, I was going to say the number six car, the Ford that looks like the old Fultures coffee. Yeah. Oh, that'd be pretty cool, too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Yeah. I think, though, I mean, the Win Dixie car is going to be back. Eventually. Yeah, you gotta think so. It'll be back eventually. Speedway Motorsports Incorporated, let's just call it SMI, shall we? Announced beginning in 2017, they will offer $10 kids tickets to Sprint Cup races across all their tracks. This goes along with the free admission of kids 12 and under at Truck and Xfinity races in 2017.
Starting point is 00:28:23 Was this the right move? And should it have happened sooner? This is a great move to me. this gets kids at the racetrack and at a reasonable price, which is free. You know, now you don't have to buy the kid a ticket. Now you can come in, you can afford to buy the hot dog cheeseburger, the die-cass car that he wants, the Jeff Gordon Rainbow Warrior jacket, whatever he wants, you know.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Now you can afford to do that more when they do this stuff. So that's awesome, I think. I've been having a lot of conversations with people over the last several years that said we have to get kids to the track. I started coming at four years old. I've been a lifelong fan of racing. racing, all auto racing. We need the families to be able to afford to get the kids here. How better way to do that. You can come camp all weekend, take them to two races, a truck
Starting point is 00:29:07 race, affinity race, and sit in the camper and watch it on TV if you can't afford to go in. So great move. It's a great move, man. I'm excited to see kids there. I'm excited to see more, you know, even if, you know, even if they're wearing Eminem's hats or giving them the finger, I'm all for it. The off-the-wall topic with NFL preseason injuries stacking up left and right, with his broken back. Should the NFL continue these preseason games or should they just roll into the season like college football does?
Starting point is 00:29:35 You know, I'm not a fan of preseason games because fans are required to buy tickets. If you're a season ticket holder, you have to pay to go to these preseason games, even if you don't go. One, that's ludicrous. Two, the players don't get paid to play these games. Really?
Starting point is 00:29:52 No, they get paid to play regular season games. So the injury risk is just, it's out of this world. And they need to do something. Yeah, they don't get, there's not a paycheck for these games. The only thing that they would get would be, like, roster bonuses and stuff right now. That roster bonus will be coming up. Pre-seat the workout deal, which is pretty high.
Starting point is 00:30:12 But the normal average player isn't getting a whole lot of this. I think they should cut it down to maybe two games or something. Why do we need four games? By the fourth game, nobody plays anyway. You play the fourth. You play guys that you hope you're never going to need. You can get hurt to practice. You can get hurt in the weight room.
Starting point is 00:30:28 But the place you don't want to get hurt is in a scrimmage situation that really doesn't mean anything. These guys are beasts. You should be able to figure out who should and should make your team without doing all these games. But it's the NFL's marketing preseason hype too. We've got to take that in consideration when we say no because they're going to do it. I got to ask, since you're a Cowboys fan. I was. You are?
Starting point is 00:30:48 Was. Oh, you are still? Well, this is, if you were still. Was. Since they're making the last of the VCRs, are you going to get one? So you're going to relive their three? Bulls. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:31:00 And I was a Cowboys fan then, and when he got rid of, you know, so Tom Landry when I was a kid, you know, Roger Stalbach, Danny White, obviously Troy Aigman, Emmett Smith, Michael Urban, all those guys. Emmett Smith was awesome. Stud. I mean, but you watch all those guys play and then you see him fire Jimmy Johnson, and then you go through that Barry Switzer ordeal. And then you just go through bad coach after bad coach after bad coach.
Starting point is 00:31:22 And Jerry Jones is still going, hey, look at me. I'm famous. I'm rich. Yeah. I mean, I like, I finally got a. appalled at Jerry Jones and his just decision to keep Tony Romo that cannot win a playoff game to save his life, I finally said, I'm done. I'm clear.
Starting point is 00:31:39 I don't feel like the problem's Tony Romo, though. Tony Romo is actually a pretty good quarterback. His stats are pretty good. How many playoff games is he won? You've got to build a defense. How many Super Bowls has he been to? About as many as the bills. Remember that time all he had to do was catch the ball and put it down for the kicker
Starting point is 00:31:54 to kick it through the upright? That's called Clemsoning. You remember that time? That's what that is. You know, so Russell Wilson got married, right? Yeah. And then he won the Super Bowl. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:05 And so he's got two rings. You realize he'd have three if they handed the ball off to Marshawn, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, so you got Marshaun. Same thing. I mean, Tony Romo, I've just looking at his numbers. Russell Wilson still threw the slant to the other team.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Yeah. Tony Romo still dropped that. Tony Romo was throwing back beers that day with me and you. Well, that's not wrong with that. Because he sucks. Yeah. I just, I mean, I just, I just, I just, I mean, I've seen Ramos Das.
Starting point is 00:32:28 He's actually a pretty productive quarterback. I don't feel like Dallas hasn't had the defense they've had in the past. Back when they were really good, man, you can name. That's like taking somebody that makes good grades and they fail an exam. Well, they make good grades. No, that's like not doing good grades and nailing the exam. Just because they didn't pass the exam, I think we still need to give them a good grade. Because the Broncos offense wasn't that great all year last year, but their defense was.
Starting point is 00:32:51 They had to be. Hamid average is. Cam's still standing there looking at that ball. Oh, is that a ball? So that ball they dropped in that playground. You know, I told you that, right? Yeah. He's out to my daughter's school, and all the kids dropped the ball on the ground that day,
Starting point is 00:33:08 and then they're still, it's still laying on the ground in that playground because everyone wants to be like Cam. Yeah. Leave it laying. Hashtag climsoning. All right, Kristen. Keep going. Hashtag Ask DBC.
Starting point is 00:33:19 So we, producer Josh, Amish Josh, has chosen some questions for the guys today. What is the angriest you have been after? a race either at a driver or just the race or situation? Mine's a tie. We lost a Daytona 500 by half a lap one year. Heartbreaking. We led the last 17 laps of the race. It started raining the last two laps of the race. Going into one, we lost a lead to Matt Kenseth. And when we came off of two, we were third because of the run and they threw the yellow. And they could have thrown it literally seconds before and we'd won a Daytona 500. Matt went on to win it. The other one was
Starting point is 00:33:56 we actually had a restart in Indianapolis, the first Xfinity race there. 22 left first, spun his tires, Hornish hit him in the butt, which is a similar situation of what we saw on Sunday. Elliot just went, and by going, he had more momentum because he didn't spend his tires and he didn't get hit in the butt and get jacked up. They called us for jumping the restart, and they cost us the race. So, man, heartbreaking. What did you do afterwards?
Starting point is 00:34:20 The first time I went and slammed beers at South Turn, the second time I blew NASCAR up on Twitter. That didn't go well. You're good at that. That didn't end well. No, you don't want to do that. I don't know. I would probably, man, it's probably, it's been a while since I've been mad leaving the race. Even last year at Talladego, whenever I feel like we could have won that race or did win that race and, you know, Harvick had a problem and his car swerved right by itself. You know, I wasn't even mad at that. I, you know, I don't know. I can't remember really leaving a race track just completely mad because of something. I've been mad after a couple of Xfini races. We ran three-quarters of a lap one time at Phoenix and that was all we ran because
Starting point is 00:35:06 Shane Helping crashed in turn three. I was a little upset at that, but I don't know. Maybe that time you wrecked me at Loudon. You wrecked me in Loudon. Oh man, you came across our nose. No, no. Yeah. You were in the way. Oh, how that happened. What's your favorite Darlington moment or experience? Have you won that race? No, but I would like to. I was close a couple times with Elliot when he drove the M&M's car to winning the Southern 500. We've been close again, winning the Xfinity race.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Never been close with Clint winning there. But my favorite time, honestly, just goes back to going as a kid. My family taking me and the experience of the infield, playing football on the infield, watching the cars go around, man. I mean, I think it's nostalgic just to get to go back there and actually compete and work there. It's cool. You go to Darlington, you know, all these tracks are getting bigger. And, you know, the stadium at Daytona, it is completely different at Darlington.
Starting point is 00:36:05 You go to Darlington, it is a real historic racetrack. You go there, and it's not all, you know, the stands and stuff. You look at the stands, they are vintage from back in the day. And I really like going there looking at. Even the spotter stand, there's 40 of us crammed into a solid. spot that probably fits 25. You look like we're chicken fighting up there. We do.
Starting point is 00:36:26 We might be. I mean. Throwing elbows. But you go there and you just look around. You see the billboards. I mean, it's not a bad place, but you can just see the history in the racetrack. Like these are the same seats that these people sat on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:36 You know, in our 80s and said, even before that. I fell down the bleachers there when I was in college. They're short steps. Nah. They're short steps. Like when you're going up steps through there, they're short ones. So it's pretty easy to. Did not spill my beer.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Ah. Never dropped it. Greatest. Yeah. Yeah, I just like going there. You know, it's a real racetrack to me. It'll be 150 degrees if the sun's out. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Good, looking forward to that. Promise you. Oh, I can tell you real quick. I was sick there about three years ago. I woke up with a stomach bug and I was like puking and I, like, did the whole race and thought I was going to die every lap and it was the longest race of my entire life. Yeah, that's not fun for that. That's your favorite Darlington memory.
Starting point is 00:37:13 I'm really looking forward to this weekend. That is not my favorite darling memory, but that is a Darlington memory. Josh speaks up. Amish Josh. Be quiet. Which track slash race? on the schedule is a must see for a fan and why? Martinsville, Bristol, road course.
Starting point is 00:37:29 I'm going to go with which race is the Daytona 500. Which track is Bristol? Yeah, I like Martinsville a lot. Martinsville, I mean, Bristol's creeping back up to it the way they're having to move each other a little bit there. They're fighting the cars coming off the corners a lot more now when they're running the bottom. The last race there was obviously a success in my eyes
Starting point is 00:37:50 compared, you know, the experiment they did. But if you want to go see some good short track race, and I'd hit up Martinsville. Bring your rain jacket. What would have been the best driver crew chief combo that never happened? That's a good one. I actually answer this one on Twitter for this 88 Texas car guy that you forgot to call out his name.
Starting point is 00:38:14 They only do this so they can be famous. Okay. Realize that. I'll shot them all out at the end. Okay. How's that? So I go with Leonard Wood of the Wood Brothers and Jamie Johnson. If you could imagine putting the guy who pioneered more things in NASCAR
Starting point is 00:38:29 and can build anything with probably the best stock car driver we've ever seen. I realize it's different errors, but we're speaking hypothetically anyway. That's the combo, I'd say, wow, you'd never touch them. I don't know if I really have an answer to this. You'd have to probably go back to around them days. there. I think TJ driving, Brett spotting. Whereas who's crew chief in Amos, Josh?
Starting point is 00:38:56 No crew chief. Are you going to hold the pit sign? That's what I do on the weekends. Oh. Sometimes. It'd be fun to put two guys together that are real fired up too, you know? Like Todd Parrott back in his prime
Starting point is 00:39:09 was a fired up dude and you put him with like a cowbush and I swear I think they'd fight after the race but they'd be really, really good. Did you imagine Kurt, crew chief and Kyle? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Oh my gosh. That'd be epic. That'd be awesome. I'm on the back straightaway, Einstein. That'd be a reality show. Oh, boy. Yeah, that'd be awesome. So that was at 88 Texas car.
Starting point is 00:39:33 At Turn Farm asks, if I Rock was coming back in 2017, name your top five drivers you would want to see race. Good question. Yeah. You want to take a stop at it? You ready? Not really. How about I name one? How about I name one?
Starting point is 00:39:49 You name one. All right. Go ahead. Lewis Hamilton. Yeah, Louis Hamilton would be a good one. I would like to put, I mean, obviously I would go with one of our best. I would definitely put Jimmy Johnson in it. Jimmy Johnson's a home run.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Yeah. Got to go with that. Yeah. For 2017, Martin Truex Jr. Yeah, it's a good one. Let's go to another series. I would maybe put somebody, I would put maybe, I'm not, I mean, I'd like to see somebody like Rico. in there.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Yeah. I mean, I just kind of mix it up a little bit. A guy that does loss, goes in the sprint cars wins, comes to the truck series. Rex? Yeah. Runs competitive to be Rex.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Sorry. I said that out loud. I didn't mean to. But I would like to see him in there. He's a wheel man. I'd like to put him in equal cars, though. If you're doing I Rock, though, I would love to see him in an I rock car,
Starting point is 00:40:40 you know, equal. Yeah. Yeah, that's good. I think we're good with four. I put Kyle in there, too. It'd hard not. It'd be hard. I mean, I would love to see Kyle driving a Formula one car.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Yeah. I would love to see Kyle go drive Formula One car. I'm not going to lie. I think that would be really interesting. I would have loved to see Tony drive a Formula One car when he was in his prime. Yeah. Because this guy won in everything he put his ass in, literally, every series. Didn't matter.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Sprint car, outlaw car, R.L car, NASCAR, Modify. It don't matter. Two-seater snowmobile. Lawnmower. Yeah. He winning. Yeah. He doesn't do Clemsoning.
Starting point is 00:41:16 He does it. Back to the show, Kristen. You're still running. Sorry. Anyway, so I just wanted to thank all of our fans at Trey underscore Chaffin at P.E.TM podcast at Jen Olk for sending in their questions. And everyone just keeps sending your questions into us. Hell yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:41:36 We need to do predictions for Darlington. TJ is up first because I have one in a row. That's a streak. So. TJ, please make this timely. God. He's known this for. It's a podcast.
Starting point is 00:41:47 It's not live. Known this for two days that he's got to pick somebody. You're in a hurry to get to your emails, Kristen? All right, let me see who I've got left. I got a meeting at NASCAR at 1030 because we're in the chase already. You better hurry up then. I had it picked out. Brett's driver list.
Starting point is 00:42:04 Damn, I've already used who I wanted to use. I like that we have a fan that does this for us every week. Me too. Yeah, thank you. It looks like a lot of work. Yeah, thanks for doing this. It makes it a lot easier. Shout out to Cornelius Fee Star.
Starting point is 00:42:18 I actually look forward to his tweet after the race. They too, when I win. Yeah, you're lucky. You were slacking for a while. Sucking. You got hot, though. You had like three or four top five picks in a row. Yeah, but they were finishing top five, you know?
Starting point is 00:42:32 Yeah. I thought Austin would run better there, but I failed. So, now that I've already... I know who I'm going with. Unless you pick them. Yeah. Where are we going again? Darlington, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:47 I've been talking about it for an hour and a half. I believe they have throwbacks this weekend No Say it's not so Dude I had the wrong thing up Hang on Do you use these blue columns No I need to see something
Starting point is 00:43:03 The number one Xfinity cards All right we'll come back to this What else are we doing in a second Oh my gosh well I'll take a nap on Brent shoulder Let's do a rant We hadn't done a rant in a while Let's do a rant
Starting point is 00:43:15 Let's talk about Colin Kaepernick he's the greatest isn't he you know here here's the thing you have i have two two sides of this story to you're never given respect you always have to earn it right okay so did you respect colin before this week no okay not a lot and now i respect him even less okay but here's the other side of it it's a free country it's the first amendment correct freedom of speech and people get get confused on what freedom of speech means. Freedom of speech means you can speak freely against the government. Okay. It doesn't mean you can tell your employer they suck because they tell them you suck. They can fire you. That's not for what people forget what freedom of speech means. Oh, you can say that of freedom of speech. No, you can speak
Starting point is 00:44:00 against your government. So he chose to do that. But let's look at this guy. You know, here's a guy that has a multi-million dollar contract, $114 million. People of all color are supporting him. Okay, then let's look at another aspect of his life. If he gets in trouble, what's he going to do? He's going to call 911, and who's going to come? Police, fire. EMT, fire, police, and if he needs it, the damn National Guard. So guess what?
Starting point is 00:44:28 They're not going to abandon him, even though he's protesting them. So I just look at this for me personally. I respect his freedom of speech. So put that aside. He wants to do it, he can do it. But if I look at it for me personally, I just say, this guy's an idiot. he wants attention. If you want to make a stance to get it,
Starting point is 00:44:46 do against it, do what Carmelo Anthony did, do something positive. Don't stand up or not stand up, in his case, against the flag, which is the United States of America, women, men that have died for it, school teachers serve that flag. I mean, everybody ultimately serves that flag. You're not Muhammad Ali, you know, who's a draft dodger.
Starting point is 00:45:05 I'd love to see this guy get drafted and have to go just to boot camp and go to war for three months. He'd probably come back and love that flag. That's what pisses me off. So for me, respect is earned, not given. And the next time he does it, are you going to think it's genuine? Or you're going to think somebody made him do it? Because for me, it's done.
Starting point is 00:45:22 It's over. I'm done with that guy. Yeah, I don't, to me, I don't think he was just, he's making a problem more of a problem than what it needs to be. It's divisive. He's now trying to create a problem himself. If you want to make a stand on something, be productive in it. Don't sit on the sideline and disrespect to your car. country.
Starting point is 00:45:43 Yeah. You know, go out there, you know, do something positive. Don't be negative about it. Don't be negative and think you're that high up on the, on your totem pole there to think you're going to change the world by doing this. You're not changing anything by doing this. You need to go out and be positive about it. Be loving to people.
Starting point is 00:46:02 Be, you know, do stuff with your community. Don't sit there on the sideline and make people dislike you because their sons and family members over there fighting for your country that you're disrespecting right now. Yeah. So just be productive with it. Be positive about it. There's better ways to do it. I mean, he even went on the offensive Sunday about our presidential candidates.
Starting point is 00:46:20 And he attacked both of them. And he's like, you know, I can't trust Hillary because she lies. She deletes emails. She says young black people are super predators. You know, then you've got Donald Trump. He's a racist. He's a bigot. Like, okay, so what are you trying to accomplish?
Starting point is 00:46:37 We got two choices for a presidential nominee. And you just said, don't pick either one. Like, stop. If you're going to offer what the problem is. Have a solution. Offer me a solution, buddy. Run for president if that's what your solution is. Who is Colin Kaepernick?
Starting point is 00:46:51 Anyway, I'm just curious. That's the thing, too. When you look at it, came out of UNLV, hell of a football player, came into the league, hell of a reputation, takes Alex Smith's job, wins football games, looks great under Harbaugh. Love to watch him. Looks great under Harbaugh. Harbaugh leaves.
Starting point is 00:47:06 He sat on the bench all year last year. Maybe he realized I don't really want to play this game and this is my way out. I can get fired and lose my PSAs, and I can take all these hundreds of millions of dollars that I've made and run off. He's got like a $12 million house or something crazy. Like, maybe that's what he did this for. I think there were selfish reasons behind when he didn't stand up for this thing. It's just not a very classy way to go and handle things. You know, I actually really enjoyed watching him play, but now that he's doing things like this,
Starting point is 00:47:33 I just play the football game. Why get involved in any of this anyway? Just play your football game. If you want to get involved, call your publicist and say, I want an interview with Barbara Walters, and I want to tell her how I feel. That's a great way to do it. Doing it in front of millions of people, guess what, buddy. They hate you now. He's also a hero and role model to a lot of young kids and young people.
Starting point is 00:47:55 Of all color, again. Right. And so he has the podium and the voice to do good with that and bring people together, yet he's doing this. So don't just act like a little whiner and state the problem. We all know that there are problems, but go out there, start a charity, get involved. talk to people, you know. Be positive. Be positive.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Educate. He's just creating. And when they say, oh, but we just want to open the dialogue and create commentary, it's so divisive. And it just, he's making a bigger problem. Yeah. So, whatever. I think, yeah, I think you stick a fork in this guy. So if he comes to a NASCAR race, do you, does he not stand when?
Starting point is 00:48:32 If he'll come on the podcast. Yeah, I'm sure. Let's call his publicist. Yeah. I think he'll come on. We can actually call and ask him. He'll decline. Then we can bash him for declining our podcast.
Starting point is 00:48:43 He could give $1 million of his $114 million contract. I mean, I honestly do. I respect his amendment, First Amendment. It's no different than if somebody as a gun owner of the Gun Amendment, second amendment, right to bear arms. And if they're against what he did, that's not right. I'm not against what he did. I'm against what he stands for as a person.
Starting point is 00:49:04 Yeah. I think there's a difference. I do. I'm perfectly fine for him standing up for what he believes in, but do it, there's better ways to do it. The way he chose to do it, I don't, again, respect, never earn it. He's gone. He's a brat.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Back to TJ's pick. Al Marola. Oh, the Amarolster. You made me forget who I was going to pick. That's not even a nickname. You just had a stir to that. I am going. The Cuban Missile.
Starting point is 00:49:28 Is that his nickname? Yeah, that's what we call him late model racing. That's what it, yeah. Yeah, Cuba Missile. I'm going with a guy that has all the reason in the world to Runga this weekend. Casey Kane. Driver of the number five. What's his nickname?
Starting point is 00:49:45 Casey kick-ass can. That's what he's going to do in Darlington. So go on and get your son, buckle up, tightening him belts. The rap song says the chase is getting old so it needs a cane. Yeah. You don't remember that? Who'd you pick, Amarola? This city, dude, they will be three laps apart when this race is over.
Starting point is 00:50:04 All right. I feel good about this pick, Josh. Brett is very confident. I go by how they, how they, drivers' characteristics and transit the track. Right. Is Amarola going to Clemson-In? Yes. No, he's going to Amarolaing. He's going to do.
Starting point is 00:50:21 You know what? I mean, his name's been in the silly season circle too recently. He was one of the guys that we've heard about. We need a silly season segment coming up when it starts getting good. Yeah, we do. That can be to Amarola's benefit because when you get a fire under your ass, you run a little faster. Yeah. because you don't want to get burned.
Starting point is 00:50:38 I'm on the trade block. Oh, I got to make a catch this boy. A lot of these guys, man, they know how to run fast in contract years. Josh is on the trade block. Yeah. Any producers out there. Yeah. So we are firing off last thing, man, into my favorite time of the year.
Starting point is 00:50:55 We're racing at Darlington. Labor Day. Is that your favorite time? Labor Day, Darlington, and college football. Yes. Josh, Tennessee opens with Appalachian State. What a hell of a game this is going to be. Tell us about it.
Starting point is 00:51:08 It's going to be an ass weapon. App State's that good? Who are you a fan of? I don't really have a college team. I don't really watch college football. I don't. Pets playing for Lenova. There's some college teams that can beat the bills.
Starting point is 00:51:22 No one cares about it. Oh, yeah, there are. What's your biggest game of the week to watch? Which one is your most favorite? D's. No, no, that's not a game. What is the most favorite actual game that you want to watch? Probably the Alabama-U-S.C. game will be pretty good.
Starting point is 00:51:36 That's it. You'll make a break for your season right there pretty much in the first game. Yeah. I mean, basically. Unless you're Alabama, because then you can win out. Yeah. I mean, USC's done if they lose. Their quarterback is supposed to be pretty good, right?
Starting point is 00:51:49 If USC loses, they're done, but here's the thing. They got a left tackle that is going to be second string. They will cue and chew off on that guy. Nick Sabin, this will be a 15. 18. Yeah, this will be an 18-point game. I think it's a blowout. But I can't wait to see the Cox play.
Starting point is 00:52:04 We got Vandy on Thursday night. Kristen, what's my shirt say? Go Cox. Hala, we're down. Chicken. The bills play the lines on Thursday night, so you know. Yeah. Pre-season game four.
Starting point is 00:52:15 Yeah. All right. Thanks to one main. Both Josh and I are taking off the Richmond race. I'm going to see the Penn State game. Are you all going out? Are you all day? We're going to separate states to watch football.
Starting point is 00:52:25 God, that sounds fun. All right. See you all next week. See you later. At one main financial, we believe in the importance of community.
