Well, obviously, when Brett asked you to do something, you know it's going to be fun. I had no idea that it was going to be that.

this, I drove like a maniac now. I'm here. I've been cutting hay all day. She does because seen for a living and I can't believe you guys have a radio show. Show up for his show. See, this is a whole new deal. He was up all night, slept all day, and now he's wearing spandex and riding bikes and he'll call you like six or thirty in the morning. He couldn't hang out when he does him. He couldn't hang out with you. Yeah, we used to have a lot of fun. He's changed 10 years ago. It was a bag of beef jerky and a Pepsi. Now it's spandex and bicycling.

What are you going to start? And he's retiring. I mean, you're doing all this work to quit. I don't forget it. I don't even did it. It's backwards. If you're going to quit, drink. Come out.

Yes, I would be back to the old ways. Anheuser coached brought out for only. Like, Sages. Clint and I were drinking beer on his boat. The Sages are working for what you ultimately saw. I think there's serving a lot of good points, like the regular season points part of it, because I think it protects a lot of people. You can have a good ball, fine session, a fast car or something, and the fumble a ball,

but not have a good finish and still be okay and be protected because of the stage points. I love the stage points on the aspect of the playoff system. I think it's going to be very interesting and important to have those and be established in those when we get to the playoffs. And then this is to break up the race. Yeah, we did have that conversation. I've been saying that for a long time. Competition, caution, segment stage,

whatever you want to call it. We needed to break up these races, break up those long runs and make it more entertaining for the fans at all times. Not just, you know, a restarting. So what do you do during these breaks? I know you get bored in that car. I don't go and take a piece right?

This is what sucks. And I said, the caution comes out. This is what my man says. Caution's out. Because like 10 years ago, Martin's bed, he was in the bathroom and Elliot hit something in Martin'sville. He's like, Brett, why are you at? I'm in the bathroom. So he also got busted. My God. I just thought it off just because of this game, I believe. Like it's not like they all of a sudden have been in stage racing and now they're saying,

oh look guys, you know, two was a match number. Now we're going to wait two weeks before the Super Bowl and say, okay, we're going to make it stop. Make it just stop. Points, but then the first segment points right there and crashed out. Now you've got three sets of segment points that somebody can stack up against you, not to mention the finish of the race that they can stack up against you. I mean, it pinks you back in a box of protection mode and take it. taking care of business and not racing for, you know, necessarily that stage win or whatever else

did it's intended to. At least it's going to for me. I think we live in Martin Trux's race was the last year where he won and he did it in three and a half hour or whatever the number was. I think we just made this a five and a half hour race a little over him. You know this day? How long? It's too long. We passed out, woke back up and had it again. Maybe something here. Watch the rig. So this isn't really, he can fill in. You know, He's eager and hungry for the opportunity, so you've got to think of that too. Who can get in this car and perform out of the experience and everything else, not have the cheaters, and then more importantly, who's hungry for the opportunity and can do the best job. You know, the information that's always important to me is what's the track doing? Is it moving? Where's it to me? Where are they at? On the race track? Is that outside? You know, those are the things that I'm always curious about because I'm always changing, forever changing all through the night, and you've got to keep up with it.

Sometimes it's up on a cushion, sometimes it's download, sometimes you can slide somebody and slide up through the middle. So, you know, I think he has the best. You don't talk about songs. He doesn't sing to you. No. Who has the worst of eight of these fewer friends? Yeah. Go ahead.

My favorite track, too. Oh my God. Bristol. I think Bristol is the best track. You know what I'm looking like my best spot for Brad and you got around you. Yeah. That was a lot. I think you mean first race ever stilled inside.

So just trying to, there's so much to see. It's an old track. It's been around a long time. I think the groove, you know, when you get down on nuts and bolts of the race, if they can really get that out to the just. So you've got to move around. Early on, as they wear out, you try to make that track as big as possible, and they can get up there right next to the wall and get things wrong.

So those are the things that I always, you know, enjoy watching. small and a half enjoy about a mile and a half. If they can't produce side-by-side multi-roof racing, they're going to suck. My favorite thing about Texas is when we get off the airplane, the first people that we see say, welcome to Texas. Love that's hospitality. Come on. You're not going to ask what's the favorite track, right?

Wow. Are you sure you want to do that? I'm sure. I don't know what the most challenging part of the most exciting part of the you know, actually, it's being friends. And I think that's the coolest part is two of the three guys I work with on the Cup Series are two of my closest friends in the sports So to get to do what I do is invested on. But I mean, that's the thing he's ever said you on the radio

If it worked, I think it would be awesome if it didn't bring back. What's it hurt? It's not like we can't drive to Bristol from here. So you're not taking it to Sonoma, Clara Cross Country, something like that. I think Bristol would be awesome. Because here's the thing, as TV and the media always wants you just saying, what would you do for a million bucks? Would you wreck a guy for a million bucks? Well, unless I wrecked his ass on the caution,

there's a good chance I ain't going to be able to wreck it for a million bucks. He's gone. He's 30 car leaks ahead of me. I can't catch him. I can't catch him. I got Marl Beach. I think it's easy. I think it's fun.

It's in South Carolina. This is how bad he is, literally, if he can take any vacations in Florida, he could take. Myrtle Beach. All the way. Where's you go on your honeymoon? Myrtle Beach.

And Bristol or, I mean, Bristol or Dayton, that'd be pretty wild. Oh, my God, this is pretty crazy. For a million bucks in a day. I fly through the air. Where's that lady from Sonoma? You need to go to Merle Beach. Leave here and go straight to Myrtle Beach.

You will not look that classy when you leave. That waist down then. Get some . I was like you have to be there to see your second. at Auto Club. Oh, cool. I'd like to know when you win, the 600. How are you going to celebrate?

Top. You got a kid me last time. More locks in Charlotte. It was rough. There was a drive shaft in the motorhome after that win. You just don't, yes, a drive shaft in the car. Because our rich boss had the baddest, what was like a GTX, heavy, like an awesome collector car.

He wanted to do a burnout, jump in it, and he had him reverse instead of driving it. He threw the drive down days. Seems as we broke a suspension component, so we're like, nah, no, that's the drive shats are at me. It's a dead. I woke up on my bus the next morning, going down the road. And I woke up and I was like, I'm on a bus. I'm like, it's moving.

So I just walked up to him. He was driving Greg. If we win, we got to take you home. We got more free sales for anybody. Is this normal? I've done shots in the morning before on the show. What is this? You guys, I think it's my podcast.

This is just terrible. You mentioned Pocono. You mentioned Pocono. I know. You got a question. You got a free shot on this question. Oh, yeah. Let's say free last way.

Well, that, and I did it. He's like when it's all tired. Well, that usually off the back-go for everybody. else probably yeah probably and again I said you know earlier I was talking to Booga about that very thing you know the soft tires after a cycle who knows that might be it right if it goes green you might be fine if it's a caution gets another cycle they put our tires on they might have the advantage too though cycles on tires so cycle on tires I don't know why it's been a huge deal this year so

I don't know that it matters if it's a soft tire or hard tire. If the caution comes out and they're able to put tires on, they're probably going to have an advantage no matter what they're going. Is that a bull beer in your pocket? No, I wish it was. Oh, okay. It's a signed empty. See, your fans are drunk.
