Starting point is 00:00:00 This is the first shot of the war. MMA versus boxing. It's the first real shot. We've been real nice to y'all over there on the boxing side, and we've been letting y'all just get off and say, oh, we make more money, and forget you guys and blah, blah, blah, you know? And so we've just been over here just, like, poor us, you know, just hating you guys.
Starting point is 00:00:19 But now it's the first shot that we're getting back at y'all now, and y'all don't like it. Ready to flex. Neon is at. You see where it's at. Come tune in, we're on string with a check. You can Michael Parson and get you a set. What's up my coverage,
Starting point is 00:00:31 Deiardis Beller like a Ricky here be a gunner We double coverage You're missing the I'm... What's up, guys? Mr. Zach here, welcome back to episode 24 of double coverage.
Starting point is 00:00:46 Today I'm joined by UFC veteran who feels like he's finally getting the respect he deserves King Green. Pleasure to have you, brother. Pleasure to have you. I'm a pleasure to have you.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Pleasure to have you. Let's go. You're rocking the Lakers Purple. We got Cryptrinor behind us and we're in episode 24. Yeah, yeah. I'm looking like I'm probably probably coming to L.A. soon. Come out here and do a show out here.
Starting point is 00:01:08 It'd be sick, right at the crypto. Let's do it. Right at the crypto. I think you plan this out perfectly. God's plan, baby. You know? We're going to set the seeds right now. But you're on fire.
Starting point is 00:01:19 We saw your finish over to Terrence McKinney. And then you hop into the streaming world. Beat up a 19-1 pro boxer, Bang Williams. The boxing world is an uproar. The M.M.A. world has your back. How has this been? Kind of getting the attention. of all these kids on the internet.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Man, I'm so busy. I'm being able to pay attention, if I'm being honest, brother. I got multiple businesses. I got properties and the management of those things.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I got three kids. One, well, I got four kids, three baby mamas, one black, one white, one Mexican.
Starting point is 00:01:53 So I'm in three different places all the time, collecting kids, then take them all some place, then drop that kid off, drop that kid off that kid, all in different cities. And so I'm always,
Starting point is 00:02:02 busy brother. I'm so busy. I don't even pay attention to internet stuff so much. I see my followers went up so that's cool, you know? But it's just like whatever, you know, it's just whatever. So we're talking about it. You pull up to the gym, minding your own business, and then what happens?
Starting point is 00:02:20 It started months ago. I run into Dean. I have a big brother of mine. He's like, hey, when did he just send me a random text? He's like, hey, you should go sparrow. guy named Dean. So I'm like, why did he tell me that? And I know my brother, if he said that
Starting point is 00:02:37 you have to be sticking on like a sore thumb, some reason my brother wants me to get at you. Coincidentally, maybe two months, three months later, I run into Dean, I want to rampage of shows. I'm like, oh, okay, cool. So I'm like, hey, my brother told me I should spar you, you know, he's like, oh, yeah, we should spar. We can spar, you know, we can spar. I'm like, okay, cool. Then I run into him a few different times where I saw him in the ring. I'm like, oh, what's up with that spar? I'm like, oh, I'm like, ah. So he gave me that feeling like, you were just talking for the stream. You're not really a tough guy, you know?
Starting point is 00:03:08 So then I keep seeing him, and every time I'm seeing him, he still keeps doing the wolf in. But then I'm like, you won't go and do it, though. You won't do it. Now he tag teams with AB, and now they're running their stream together. I see them both. They're both matching. I go, oh, it's Tweed O'D and Tweed Odom, you know? And then saw Kirk going on in these guys, never start talking to each other.
Starting point is 00:03:27 And basically they're saying, boxers are going to knock me out, and I don't serve or serve a chance. I don't even belong in the ring with them. And so I'm like, okay, fine. Now I end up calling. I'm like, hey, Dean, I'm coming up there. But Dean doesn't run his stream. I guess someone else does. So they go, yeah, cool, you know. But they don't tell Dean and Dean thinks I'm going to stream. I tell them on the, on the message, I'm coming to SPAR. This is not no, I came to SPAR. You N-A-B, who said, I came to box. I came to show y'all, I could box. And so I hear that they're doing the locked in stuff. I'm like, let me go up here and just sneak in and see what I can do. I go in. These, all these guys are in the freaking pool and shit. You know, I'm like, what the
Starting point is 00:04:07 you see it looks like a bunch of sea turtles in here, you know, playing around and, you know? So I'm like, man, get out of here. Get off the damn pool and let's go upstairs and box, you know? They're all being like last days ago. I'm like, this is not a real fight gym if you guys are supposed to be locked in. And so I'm talking, I'm telling me, trying to explain them what I think fighting is. And I'm trying to explain them. I know it's just going over the heads. They keep disrespecting me. They keep saying funny little shit doing little shit. And then they both duck off somewhere. And I already knew what's up. I go, I told my
Starting point is 00:04:37 buddy, I say, hey, they're calling their muscle. You know, they call the muscle. They're going to call whoever they was to get me out the ring. And so I'm like, uh-oh, watch this. All of a sudden, I'm getting ready to go down the stairs. As I'm going down the stairs to go smoke, a bang is coming in. Yeah. So I'm coming out. He's like, oh, you want a box? You want a box? Come here and get here and get knocked out. you know my so i play like real docile i get real quiet when he say on that oh come bosh come bost i was like i just walk off all slow i go play real dossop like a girl you know and i just get off like i walk
Starting point is 00:05:12 outside all quiet he don't know he think i just ran off scared so i ain't got my bag i come back in like hey what's up you know so i can see it like they're like oh no we're serious i'm like yeah i'm serious so getting the kit ring i think we're going to box it thinks about the time that i actually get to show them saw him for me to box. They look and they see I got stitches from the Terrence fight. And they go, oh, no, you can't do that, you know? You can't do that. You can't do that. So it kick me out and won't let me box. They talk shit to me and say, I don't deserve it. And this guy here, if I would have gotten there with him, he would have hurt me really bad. One punch would hurt me really bad. So I'm like, all right, you guys keep saying, like,
Starting point is 00:05:49 I don't, like, I don't know what I'm doing. I've been on many boxing mats. And every time, it's always the same way. They always say, hey, What the hell? He doesn't have the cup. He doesn't have the gloves. He doesn't have the head gear. He doesn't put his hands up. They tell me all the rules I'm breaking.
Starting point is 00:06:06 I know I'm like, but just let me box. Let me show you I can do my thing. And if they give me a chance, because most of them, like, don't even give me a chance. Like, it was at Mayweather Gym. Same thing. They kicked me out the rain. They wouldn't let me box. They think I don't know what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:06:20 And so these guys give me the opportunity if I got my stitches out. So I leave home, go get the stitches out, maybe a day or two later. come back, boom, I'm back, you know, surprise. Stitches out. I know they thought it was coming back. So I'm back. And I'm like, all right, now what's your excuse? What's going to be your excuse now?
Starting point is 00:06:39 And so I come up there, I'm all fat. I just got a fight. I haven't trained since the fight. So I don't even know if I got it or not. I'm like, these things, they've been working in a second. It's been about a week. I don't know if they still work the same or not. If my timing is off, any of this, you know?
Starting point is 00:06:54 So I'm like, man, let me go see if I can do this. or not. I come up there and they're still disrespectful. They're still talking this stuff. I'm like, all right, let's go. And then now we get to it. And I go, hey, I'm just telling you right now, this is going to be funny. This is going to be, it's going to be great. I keep trying to tell him this, but they're not listening to him. I'm like, it's going to be like nothing you've ever experienced in your life. I tell them, and like, Dean's going to look, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They don't know what's coming. Boy, oh, boy, was all right. You know, and we went viral. Yeah, you went viral.
Starting point is 00:07:27 I come from the boxing world. I grew up in the boxing world. And I know bang. I've commented his fights. A.B., who's always very good to me. So you'd expect me to have the opinion, you know, be on their side. I don't agree with, I just met you. I don't agree with the thing they said.
Starting point is 00:07:40 I mean, I don't understand how you can say that he's going to destroy you. That's my guy. He's going to, you know, box your ears off. And then you dominate the spar. And then it's, oh, he's too small. Oh, he's this. Oh, that. Where was that before they spar?
Starting point is 00:07:54 None of that energy. The entire energy shifted. And then to talk about the size, he fights at 135. I know bang, he's never weighed 135 outside of a fight. I don't know what he eats outside of camp. He was big. You know what I'm saying? But he's a big guy at a camp.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Like, he enjoys eating, you know, and then. He was a big dude like, and he's this way. Yeah. He ain't this way. No, he's this way. He's a bit that way, you know? And I've known Bing forever. And then to top it all off, they have this like bravado attitude now, like,
Starting point is 00:08:22 who ho box you, Bobby? But you're not going to get into the cage. That's what my point is that there's no way. Why didn't he hop in? Why didn't anyone else help in? And no one, no one is ever like, oh, I'll handle you. That's easy work. Nobody wanted it after that.
Starting point is 00:08:37 And you're 39 years old. Like, this is crazy. These are all young guys supposed to be in their prime. You're just putting belt to ass. So that was, that was embarrassing for everyone involved. Check this old, Zach. This is the first shot of the war. MMA versus boxing.
Starting point is 00:08:54 It's the first. real shot. We've been real nice to y'all over there on the boxing side. And we've been letting y'all just get off and say, oh, we make more money. You guys. So I'm sorry. I'm sorry. And I'll forget you guys and blah, blah, blah, you know? And so we've just been over here just like pour us,
Starting point is 00:09:08 you know, just hating you guys. But now it's the first shot that we're getting back at y'all now. And y'all don't like it. I'm not saying you directly, but you know, I agree. I'm with you. You know? And so now all the boxers is talking to me. They're calling me out. I'm like, man, I didn't even ask for none of this.
Starting point is 00:09:23 but I take all faiths, gentlemen, if you keep calling and just come get me, come find me, and you can get your fate. 100. But it's the first shot. Anytime and war started now. Yeah, the war is starting. And to be fair,
Starting point is 00:09:37 but you ain't coming over here, though. Yeah, no, they're not. Who's coming over here to our side? Nobody. No, no, no, James Tony. He came across. Oh, that was bad. He tried it.
Starting point is 00:09:47 They put him with Randy Gador. Yeah, that was a tough match. Kimbo. He tried it. Yeah. They tried it. There was a couple of. Kimbo. There was a couple of brave souls. Yeah. The women do it. Serrano and Clarissa Shield, you know. Okay, okay. I'll give it the show she got more balls I guess.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Hey, but she got, she got taxed up too. Yeah. But she's developing. They're saying Jake Paul is going to make his debut next year. He's going to try to do the same thing, go pick on a little guy. Is that, is that a real fight for Nate Diaz if he has to go in, shake? Is Jake so much bigger? His Nate's got so much more experience, obviously. Yeah, but especially MMA gloves, one shot can put you away. And so That's too risky, you know. And it's already unfairly we have to do it in boxing. And this guy's being basically a weight bully, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:30 trying to take advantage of the system. Because he has the power and the control and the rules. And so you have to come fight me and according to all my rules. That shit's weird. You know, he's a powerful player now. I mean, they just merged with PFL. So now he would be a fighter and promoter and owner so he can basically... It's messy.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Like, you see how it could be. It was like, get him in the bill. Cut the belt. We don't want you to put the belt on us. You know, get out of here. You're not even a real fighter. Yeah. You know, you're a celebrity boxer.
Starting point is 00:11:00 You're not even a boxer. You're a celebrity boxer. What's up guys, Ms. Exact here, aka your host's double coverage, aka the biggest sports fan in the world. And Fathead, I can personally say, is one of my favorite companies out there. And if you're a true sports fan, like me, you'll love their product. Go to fathead.com. Show us love.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Tell the Miss Exact sent you. Please, fathead.com. I support this product and I personally endorse their stuff because I love it. Would you spar with Jake? Of course. I fight Jake and whoop his ass. You know, like, it's Nate Diaz's fight. I wouldn't take it, you know, but I would
Starting point is 00:11:54 I whip Jake's ass easy. But if he's like, I saw what you did to bang, I do the same thing that I did to bang, I do the Jake. With my hands down, talking, what's up? What's up? I'm doing the same way. But people think that I was weight bully and bang, I'm like, but no, I never filmed any of my sparring. Don't show
Starting point is 00:12:10 it, but my homies know, I called him the B word all the time. What's up? Yeah, I'll be talking the same thing at the gym. The MMA fans know exactly what I do. The boxer just never heard of me. now they seem like, who is this guy, you know? Surprise, I'm here.
Starting point is 00:12:28 What do you think about Dean the Great versus Henry Sehudo? Because it looks like they're going to box. Yeah. You sure you want to hear what I'm going to say? Yeah. Okay. All right, just try it. Let's try it.
Starting point is 00:12:38 So I talked to Dean about it. And I'm like, Dean, so who you got to fight? He's like, oh, I'm going to tell you. I'm going to tell you. And so you end up confirming that or something. I'm like, oh, yeah? You guys in a fight? He's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:51 And the first thing he said was that. this. He said, what is it called? Rehydration clause. Rehydration clause. The first thing he said, he said, he said, rehydration clause. And to me, you're soft.
Starting point is 00:13:07 You know, he's soft. So he's soft and, like, I'm like, the fact that you're worried about, if we make the same weight, we both weigh in on the scale. Now you're worried about how much water I drink after? Yeah. Like, that's pretty soft to me.
Starting point is 00:13:21 If we can touch the same weight, we're good. I don't care if you have to go shove a whole gallon water up your ass, you know. Whatever makes you want to feel like you got to do what you do. But once he said that, I'm like, I don't know, bro. It's probably not even going to happen. Or it's going to be, oh, because he didn't do dehydration clause or this and this. And it sounds like two, we don't got two down fighters. When he's like, yeah, I'm fighting it.
Starting point is 00:13:45 And they're both like, yeah, we're fighting them. We got to forget five. And so then I'm like, when I heard readjuring me, I'm like, uh, sounds like. Red flag. Like, like, Mani Paco and Floyd and, oh, the testing and this and then they're arguing like that. Oh, it's not going to happen. No, no, that ruins fights for sure.
Starting point is 00:14:02 The blood test, the hydration, whatever, just. If we can make the same way, we can scrap. Let's just keep it that simple, you know? And so I think Dean has some talent. I think he could be great. I think he has potential against Henry, you know? Henry has never boxed. I've never seen him be like the boxing type.
Starting point is 00:14:20 so it's in Dean's favor. But again, it's Boston gloves. Henry's a very competitive guy. Got a whole lot of fighting him. I don't know. I still will go with Dean, though. It's a great matchup. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Because you're kind of wondering, right, does Dean have enough dog in him to deal with Henry going at him, right? But Dean's got tools. Like, people talk a lot about him because of the viral clips, but he's explosive. He's got a real nice pole counter.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Yeah, he's got great counters. He's fast. I think I was trying to explain to him some of his issues that I've seen. I'm like, okay, you do this, you do this. But he's not listening to me. So hopefully he'll listen and gain up some knowledge. Yeah, for sure. Would you want to, like, do you think there could be a path to you boxing,
Starting point is 00:15:05 like for Zufa boxing? Have they talked to you about that? Do you think they'd be open to that? That'd be dope, you know what I mean? But Dan already said he doesn't want us crossing over. So it's like, the fuck, you know? Like, I think me, Kevin Holland, like, guys like that. are down.
Starting point is 00:15:22 There's a few guys other that have come over there, Jamal Hill. We go over there and box, you know. But they won't let us, you know, and it's just iffy. And trust me, like, it seems like everybody keeps trying to, like, push me towards the boxing because I think they're realizing I could be an exciting boxer. I could make something more over there on the boxing side,
Starting point is 00:15:40 or at least they want to see me get knocked out, one of the two, you know? I think the MMA guys need a win on the boxing side, and you did so good. It was like, all right, we need this guy representing us. Yeah, Aidan Ross was trying to get. give me to go over there and do it boxing over there. But I'm like, I'm in contract, so I can't do that. No, that would. You know, they can't give me out of contract. He has to do for boxing. He's like, full match your pay. And so he looked up some numbers on the computer and it said
Starting point is 00:16:05 $300,000. I don't get paid $300,000. And so I'm like, what the heck? Like, I'm like, you don't have to give me at least a half a million to go get out of a paycheck with you, you know? You guys aren't going to pay that. So I would do that when I've been doing that four times this year? You know what I would I go leave my company who takes care of me? No, that wouldn't know. To do that. It doesn't make sense, you know? We had your right favor on the show. He's been retired for it. They were asking him to box. They were like,
Starting point is 00:16:29 Alfred him like, I think he said 75. He's like, what? Hell no. See what I'm saying? That's what I said. They're not paying like that. I was like, bro. You're not going to give me the money that I'm getting over here, bro. Stop. Like, we don't even need to talk about it. So you want to box me in Brownrest? I'm like, no. Look, if I was boxing on Browmanman's doing bad. You know? I must be doing bad.
Starting point is 00:16:47 And you just had an incredible come from behind victory and St. Ernst McKinney first round, bang, straight to the body. I think maybe your biggest one ever on the Connor McGregor card. I mean, the whole world is watching. I was chill. I looked out on my phone for one second, and then I hear my dad screaming, he's out. And I was like, and you had been, you know, losing.
Starting point is 00:17:10 And I was like, huh? And then you were celebrating. I'm like, what the hell just happened? Like, pulled straight from thin air. But obviously you have so much fight experience, you know that you're never out of a fight. Man, that was an interesting fight. I remember I was back in the back praying to God. And I was like, God, what else can you show me in fighting?
Starting point is 00:17:28 I've seen it all. Like, what could you show me? And it was interesting is that like in that fight, I was talking to Terrence after he said, I hit you with something right in your eye. I could tell if you quit you, but you didn't, I could see there was no quitting you. and the thing what was new about the fight was that I've had fights where I've gotten cut open before. I've had fights where I got hit right in the eye
Starting point is 00:17:54 and I felt like my eye got busted open. I've had fights where I got stuck in a situation and it's like sticky. But now all those things happen at once. You know what I mean? All at once. And so now that was new for me, this fight is to deal with all those different things at once.
Starting point is 00:18:10 But since I already had them happen, I'm like, man, I am tripping. I got cut before. I've been leaking all the place. I'm not really tripping. Then he busts me in my eye. Last time I got hit in the eye, I was like, ah, my eye, you know?
Starting point is 00:18:23 And so they thought he poked me in the eye. I would just hollering my eye. I didn't say he poked me. I was just hurt. You know, it hurt. You're right knuckles like that. Boom, right in your shit. You think it buses you, you know?
Starting point is 00:18:35 And so I'm hollering my eye. But this time, I'm like, ah. I'm still like, what's up? Trying to get my eye. open, you know what I mean, trying to get it open. And so I was just really cool, like, this was really dope about that fight. It was just like, everything possibly could go right for Terrence, went right for Terrence. Everything could possibly go wrong, but went wrong for me. And still being cool through it. I felt like, I kept telling everybody, I was just warming up.
Starting point is 00:19:01 I was just kind of like going for the ride. I didn't feel like I was really like, even tired yet or even really started working. I told Terrence that, like, once we got to our feet, I'm like, no, this is actually where the fight begins for me. Before that, I would just warming up and seeing what you do, seeing what you throw, learning your timing, learn how fast and how hard you throw, or you want to grapple more, or you want to box more, now I've got my package together,
Starting point is 00:19:24 now let's fight. How does that feel after? How does that compare to all your other wins? Is it right up there with the feeling you felt? I'll be honest, bro. I'm not really like that type of guy where we're into, like, I don't know, I try to be humble. And so it's just another day at the office.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Tell them out every time. Another day at the office, guys. They're always like in my face, on filming and ask them, say something. It's another day at the office. How do you feel? Nothing's changed but the day. When you do your job or work, do you go, hey, no, you just go, it's work. Yeah, sometimes, though, it's a little special. I get a little, you know, more.
Starting point is 00:20:02 We have Mike Tyson on. I saw Mike Tyson, I got nervous, you know, like a little bit of butterflies. Okay, I mean, your job's different. Yeah. Your job's a little different. Well, like the McGregor, the pot from the crowd after, it just, it was huge. just another day at the office yeah i don't know i don't move like that bro did you feel that same way when you were 22 years old just another day at the office or is it a completely different feeling um i guess
Starting point is 00:20:29 back in the day maybe it was more you and i mean when you're young and your testosterone's up there and now it's more so like you're grown and and to be honest it's like everybody counting me out but at the same time for me it's just like being confident and what I said, you know, and I don't want to be the guy to be like, I told you so. Just another day at the office, bro. This is what I do. You know, and everybody's like, oh, you lost the patty. Oh, you lost the ruffey and they count you out.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Like, okay, I'll just show you what I do. This is nothing new. And I'll keep doing it. Oh, the beautiful thing about the UFC is that, unlike boxing, you can lose and then come right back. You don't get counted out. There's not this huge emphasis to having an undefeated record. You can lose multiple. I mean, Charles Olivera was thought of as a journey, in and then rises his way. He's the champion. You know, everyone counts him out consistently,
Starting point is 00:21:19 and he proves him wrong. I think that's different with boxing, though, like boxing the same thing. Canello lost a couple times, but he still came back, you know, but the problem is like, it's how you fight. If they want to see you fight, you have a fan base, do you have an audience, all those things, so it's really about that because there's guys in the UFC that nobody wanted to see fight again, so you can lose and, I've seen guys win and get cut and get out of here. So, still entertainment. Entertainment business, and that's all of them,
Starting point is 00:21:47 it's the main point about doing fighting, like, and especially like for me, is it something I want to see or not? You're going to ask me about a fight? I'm like, be honest,
Starting point is 00:21:57 bro, it was boring. I didn't want to watch it. Yeah. I was going to tell you just like that. I didn't watch it. It was boring. They didn't have what it takes. I'll catch them when they start getting entertaining.
Starting point is 00:22:07 So you're a fan at heart. Because you've got like the same mindset as kind of what you hear, right? Sometimes as a fighters defend it, though I gotta do what I gotta do to win. But you're saying, you gotta be entertaining at the end of the day.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Yeah. What I'm saying more, so you gotta earn it. And like, for instance, I think the kid's name is, he's Sean O'Malley's friend. Tommy McMillan. There we go,
Starting point is 00:22:29 I'll make something. And so he's asking me about Tommy, and I'm like, yeah, I heard, I'm hearing his little wave. But I'm just like, I like to see that they're going to be around some more,
Starting point is 00:22:38 you know, and then I'll pay more attention. So you've got to get my attention like that. Like, okay, he's solidified. He's been through the tide where he got the wave where he was the shit. And then he got tested. Went down and came back up.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Then, all right, now I'll start paying attention to you. You're here to stay. But some guys will go through this wave, lose a few, and then they're gone. I'm like, I'm not watching you. I'm only going to watch the guys that are actually here to stay. Actually putting on great fights and worth it. Who are some of those guys for you who are must-see TV? Must-C-TV.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Like, I like Michael Vindam Page. Dominic Cruz, I was a big fan of. Nate Diaz's fights I can keep going on down the list. B.J. Penn. Real fighters that it was a fight when these guys came, you know, that you can expect to fight
Starting point is 00:23:25 and in any situation they're in, it's going to be exciting. They're not just sitting around hugging and wasting people's time. Selling fights, you know, selling fights. There's so many different people that I could name. There was the Janus kid. Adrian Yannis, I like that kid right now. He's got hands.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Yes, he comes and he boxes your ass up. I like a lot of different people. I like O'Malley now. Me and Malie had to be for a second, but, Amel, you fight. I have to tell him that. I like you because you fight, kid. You're on the team and now when you fight, I'm coming to watch, but I might not watch half the card, but I'll watch your fight. I love it. I saw you tell Dominic Cruz that he's like the only white guy who moves like a black guy. Oh, shit. I don't know. No, you don't get me going down that damn column. All right, I don't want to sound that way because I'm not trying to do that
Starting point is 00:24:17 like this race thing. No, it's not, but it's funny because even growing up in the gym, you always hear like, you're gonna fight like a black fighter. I find like, it's always like that's a real thing though. I'm just seeing what it is.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Yeah, it's a rhythm. And so. I box, I don't have rhythm. Okay. I'm a white guy. Do you dance? That'll happen.
Starting point is 00:24:33 I do not. You don't dance or no girls? You never dance at girls? I'm bad at it. But you'll get out there, though. Yeah, I don't get groovy. I'm not as good as you. Well,
Starting point is 00:24:40 I'm not saying you're going to get out there and have a, yeah, excuse me, a showtime, and you're down a line doing their legend robot or something, but I'm saying you'll get out there and groove. Yeah, yeah, I'll get out there and groove. Okay, okay, but I'm saying some guys that won't do it at all. Yeah, and so. But Dom is all over when he fights.
Starting point is 00:24:56 You know, he's dancing and moving, and it is like an art. Yeah, yeah, and we can see it from people who come from rhythm, or you got rhythm, you know, and it's just his own rhythm. Like, he'd do some kind of funky hops and do these little things that, one else was doing. And so that's his own style, his own genre. He kind of created that. And so that's one reason I give him his flowers. No, for sure. And yeah, you always hear that in the gym, though. Like, that's always a thing. And it's not like this one's better or this one's worse. It's just
Starting point is 00:25:27 reality. And when I fight all my fighters, all in my gym, I say, hey, you don't fight, you don't learn how to fight like a black dude today, you know? You're going to learn how to fight like a black dude. And they kind of like, whatever. And then I started showing them what I mean. Like, so a lot of lot of like some of my like mescan fighters they'll fight I put their head down put the head down I'm like hey no no pick your heads up look at me you keep your eyes on your opponent you know you're just uh uh I'm like you didn't even see me you know and so little thing like that you know they're gonna be more on their toes bounce move in out you know and so like I got a couple fighters like he fight like a black guy you know like I got a lot of little homies like to teach them
Starting point is 00:26:04 a fight everyone's taught differently depending on where you're from like you know you got to be around it. You got to be around the soul and get the soul. You got the Cuban boxing system, the Russian boxing system, but then you train someone in Philly, they look way different. You got the Philly Shell. You got the Philly Shell. You got Bernard Hopkins, boots coming out of there, you know. But you get around, you get around them. It's a different swag. You start getting that swag. You get the soul. Like, so I moved with Sean Strickland when we were younger.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Sean Strickland got that from us. And now he started doing, he hung around with the black guys. Yeah. So now he got a little bit. You know what I mean? Yes. He Creole. He creole. I think he. I think he. grew up. Yeah, he got some black guinea. This could be bad. That's my guy. It's going to be good now.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Oh, you know? Yeah, it's going to be good now. No, yeah, he said he turned it around. Yeah, I love him. But yeah, he's not, when he's squared up. Yeah, you can see it. Damn, bro.
Starting point is 00:26:56 And it's like, but he got drunk on Father's Day. That's my thing is like, don't get wrong. When I saw the actual video, I was like, all right, whoa, that was a little out of line. Because I didn't know he's at an airport. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:06 I thought it was at home. And the wife called because he got. a little too tipsy on Father's Day. Me too. At 6 p.m. you know, not like he was up at 2 a.m. going crazy. So I was like, wow, when I saw the video,
Starting point is 00:27:17 I'm like, all right, he was getting a little crazy. Yeesh. Maybe you have to put him in jail for the night. You know, give a little cool down. He's been sober since, so I think it was like a blessing in disguise. Yeah. Hopefully he'll, I think he's just like the fighter thing,
Starting point is 00:27:31 bro, sometimes that demon dealing with that. What do you do with yourself now? Like, I think fighting is a saving grace for a lot of us. fighting keeps me sober keeps me clear-minded saves me brings me closer to God and so I feel like
Starting point is 00:27:46 that's my like rebirth and stuff I get closer to God I get the praying more I get more focused on my family and loving people and that's what our saving
Starting point is 00:27:58 grace is not that you lose that how you get your connection with God now how do you get your that feeling again when you're getting a loss in the world and he was hinting at it he said I have these demons, you know, they might creep back up now that I'm not biting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:12 It's a real thing. The demon of staying busy. The demon of feeling like someone, you know, everybody wants to feel important. You've been important most of your life now. You're not so important. Yeah. It's hard to go from being a fighter to a podcaster. Or, like, he tried to replace the fighting with the working out in the gym.
Starting point is 00:28:33 That's not going to hit the same. You're naming in the pages and people weren't talking. talking about you. It's totally different. I got some fighters, friends that were in the UFC, they got hurt and they were like once they lost, they were trying to milk this now where they went two or three years, no fights, just saying they're a UFC fighter. You know what I'm saying? Because that, they don't want to lose that, you know? That's their identity. Yeah. A lot of people don't want to lose that feeling like I'm someone. Now you got, that's like you got fired from your job.
Starting point is 00:29:04 Yeah, no. If I wasn't doing this, I don't know what I would tell people, you know? how do I introduce myself? I'm not a podcast. You don't have to retire from this, obviously, but if I did, I'd be... Yeah, what if you just got banned for some... Some crazy... Yeah, they banned everything.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Now you can get any podcasting job. You know what I'm Zach? I'm... I don't know. I'd be lost. You're going to become a comedian or something. I'd be a comedian. Or I'd be in the airport. You know, it's going to be bad.
Starting point is 00:29:32 It's going to be bad. That would be bad. So, no, it's fully... It's your way to release. You know, and trust me, I hate fighting, but it is my release. It is my, something that I guess God gave me for some reason. It picked me. He chose me to do this thing, and it's a part of me.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Have you thought about or talked to the UFC about your next fight? Yeah, yeah, we're talking right now, and we're working on it. Hopefully I can go in this little spot back here and bring all my people, you know. I want to be 50 deep and all my people running around L.A. But they were happy with the last fight, huh? Armand's going to be there. They might have to separate you guys, right? Yeah, no, you know.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Or is that good now? Hopefully it's good. Hopefully it's good. I think it's good. I think we're on good pages, you know? I think we're on good pages, you know? He just tried to jump me, you know? I'm like, what the?
Starting point is 00:30:23 And so, it's just weird. All because I said he's boring. I told just earlier, you make the cut or you don't. You're either cool or you're not cool. Everybody wants to be the cool kids. And so I guess he got hurt because he was. was one of the cool kids. And I'm like, well, what does it matter?
Starting point is 00:30:39 You're like, I'm on a podcast. You asked me how I felt. Yeah. So it's like, they asked me how I fell about him. And I was like, oh, he's boring. So from there, somebody asked me my opinion. Why does my opinion matter? I'm doing an interview.
Starting point is 00:30:50 I'm on the phone. I'm just talking on the phone like this. I see some feet. Look up. And it's him and like six dudes. Oh, they got the cameras. Like, they're looking for the moment where they're going to pump me. Oh, yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Get up. What's up? I'm like, all right, do something, you know, do something. He didn't do nothing. Man, you don't want to fight. You just want to just get the clip, you know? So I try to get him a little back, like, man, back up, you know? You're too close my face.
Starting point is 00:31:17 And now are you talking, just back up something because you ain't going to do nothing. So I try to get him back up. Then when I try to back up, you got to give me a little mushy and mush my face like that. I'm like, okay. So security's right there. Everybody breaks us up. You know, there's women. There's little white guys and stuff.
Starting point is 00:31:33 so I'm like, man, it's not a situation. I let it go. I go upstairs. I get a suit every fight. So I forgot I had to go get my suit. So I just told my homie's like, man, they try to jump me up there, you know? My mom's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:47 I'm like, man, I got to get my suit. They're like, we're not letting you go by yourself now. So we go downstairs. Coincidentally, as we're walking down, we walk by Armist's crew, he's the only one that ain't there. I don't care. They already ran up on me once.
Starting point is 00:32:00 That's, that was the pass already. We got it cracking. Now it's fight time. They're running like roaches. One guy ran off this way. One guy ran off that way. But when it was six of y'all and went to me, it looked like you guys wanted to fight.
Starting point is 00:32:15 Anyways, we end up getting past that. The UFC calls us and like, hey, you guys better stop. You guys will both get kicked off. You guys will kick out, blah, blah. I'm like, man, I didn't start it. He started it. And I'm like, man, I've been here for 10, 15 years. They had no problems with nobody.
Starting point is 00:32:30 I don't start no problems, you know? And they're like, man, we know it wouldn't you, you know, but just calm it down. And so then I end up hitting on a bladeer like, bro, because he ended up fighting up. But now I'm like, you did a good job. I'm like, if your fights are dope, they're cool. I'm going to say good. But if they're bad, they're bad. Don't shoot the messenger.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Yeah, just an opinion. No. Yeah, I don't know. Some guys get sensitive. Fighters are super sensitive like that. Yeah, both. I guess boxing and everybody, they both get a little sensitive. But it's different if you're talking about somebody's work versus as someone to,
Starting point is 00:33:02 spar or something like that. Those are two different lines, you know, because it's your work. So like when A.B. said the things, he started insult me. I was like, I'll beat you up like, Mikeana. Now it's about his work. It's like, oh, it hit him deep in his heart. I felt it. He just stopped looking at me.
Starting point is 00:33:19 He went down and started looking like he wouldn't make out contact with me no more. He's like this. He heard deep. Let me avoid this one. It hurt deep. Because why he hit that heart is like, I want to make your heart come out your chest. I'm telling him, you're going to work. work like you never worked before.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Madonna made you work. I'm going to make you work just as hard. Probably even harder. Because my work ethic is so hard, you know? I work like I work hard. Is that what you contribute your longevity to? My longevity, I think it's skills. Pay the bills, first of all, like, how you guys fight?
Starting point is 00:33:54 How do you fight? And for my style, personally, like, it's weird because it's like, I got the highest amount of numbers. in my division for the most amount of strikes, significant strikes. So, but then I have one of the best defenses also, but how could you be doing the most amount of striking? Because that means that somebody's getting hit, and that means that you have the same possibility of getting hit,
Starting point is 00:34:17 so you're taking those chances of getting hit. But yet you don't have the defense, you have one of the lowest defenses, too, so it doesn't kind of go together, you know what I'm saying? Well, your reflexes are so sharp. It's just tough to get hands on you. And that's what Bang found out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:33 But I'm saying that style is how you fight. Yeah. Like, boxers will fight a lot of times I try to explain to the boxers that they don't understand the gap exactly. Because you guys fight with just your hands, you think the gap is closer. And the average MMAA fighter are used to kicking
Starting point is 00:34:47 so that we've gotten used to fighting longer. So from here is our fighting range for an MMA fighter. But you think I couldn't hit you from here. You know? But once I came across this gap, bow, bow, hit you. Like, oh. oh yeah because we fight a different range but a boxer got to get close to this table and then we can start fighting each other I'm like nah you would have got hit two or three times already
Starting point is 00:35:09 before you get to your to your gap to your line yeah and so that's the way my coach taught me to fight and boxers have no idea and don't understand exactly most boxers not saying all but most that i see them like you know you're too close you should have been fighting a long time ago but we're going to start to see i'm gonna be boxing more guys in the future i guess i'm gonna go box some other dudes they've been calling me out I say my gym's open all day every day. I'm at Icon, M.M.A. It's in Marino Valley. There's only one at 11 a.m. every day
Starting point is 00:35:37 except for Sunday. Come and grab me. I'm there. If Jake Paul says, I'm going to send you the jet, come to Puerto Rico. I wouldn't trust it. He might, I might wake up. I thought I was going to Puerto Rico. I ended up in Istanbul. He sent your house to Turkey.
Starting point is 00:35:57 You know? Like, what? Quit all that talking. Some hangover stuff. We're like, what the? You're in India somewhere. So now I don't trust that guy, you know. I would take my own plane, my own ride, my own drinks. I don't trust that guy.
Starting point is 00:36:14 That guy's a fraud. He's got to always get one up. So you got to watch that guy. He's going to make sure he's got advantage over you. He's going to cheat. He doesn't make sure he's bigger. Same thing, the rehydration clause stuff. They play all these weird games instead of just being.
Starting point is 00:36:31 and say, make the weight, and I'll see you there. Yeah, that's it. That's it. That's it. And I'm with you 100%. If I heard someone bring up a fight that they are coming up, and the first thing that says is a rehydration clause, I'd be like, rehydration clause. That's your thought.
Starting point is 00:36:45 You haven't talking about hooks. You're not talking about, you know? That's the manager job. That's not the fighter job to worry about. You should be talking about punches, hooks, speed. And if I was working with a fighter, and I really wanted a tough guy, I wouldn't want them to mention that shit.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Like you said, he just talked like a manager. Yeah, that's a manager. It's like you're doing managing when you're not doing the fighting. Yeah. You know? The fighter is supposed to be, hey, whatever you need, I'm there. But that's my point is what I'm trying to explain to Dean. I'm like, Dean, you're not real.
Starting point is 00:37:13 I can see through you. I'm a true killer. And I've been in the field for so many years that let me get around for two, three minutes and I can find out who the alpha males are in the room. I'll walk in a room. Room full of guys in the gym, not know anybody in the gym. And I go, okay, Kim right there. He's going to be a kid.
Starting point is 00:37:31 killer. I think the guy in the green's going to be a problem. And I should not be walking around. I'll go in a corner and just go all by myself. And then that guy in the green and go hey, you want to go? Oh, let's go, bro. All right, just like a good thought. All right, he's one. Let's see if the other guy comes. As I finished with him, he's lying to the next
Starting point is 00:37:47 like, oh, let's go. Those are the guys. I predicted a bang was going to hop in the room with me. I saw the same thing. I saw like A, B's in stream and whenever I would see it, if there was ever an aggression point where there was looking a volatile, he would be right there, like, chest out, like, oh, I'm like, he's the one. They're going to call him to come get me.
Starting point is 00:38:09 I already knew it. I'm like, watch. So when he came like, hey, I told him, like, oh, I knew it was going to be you. I knew it was you. I predicted all this. Now watch what I do to you. This is going to be really funny. It's humans are primates at the end of the day.
Starting point is 00:38:24 So everyone has the same body language that tells you whether they're about it or not. there's like little things that you pick up on you've been doing it for so long like you know if they're real or not based on what they're doing with their hands and their feet and look in their eyes like that like like like when a cop is integrating someone they got already telltale signs you do that you don't realize that you're doing they've been in here integrating so many people you ask for water yeah you ask for to go to the restroom yeah yeah yeah I know you're nervous they know all this they give you the foods trying to get you relax that you have a cigarette they know the game already Before I followed Jeremy Stevens, I had to do a podcast with Dominic Cruz. I threw dumb. Let's wait until after the fight. Because I knew if I talked to him and talk about this long, just like this, you're going to tell him yourself. You know, you're going to give him something that he's been in the war so long. He's going to go, okay, check him here, check him here.
Starting point is 00:39:19 He doesn't do this. He said he did this. This means that he's not going to be ready for this. You know, certain things that you shouldn't do as killers. Terrence. Terence, I heard, was at the gambling tables at 12 o'clock midnight before our fight. And I'm over here laying at bed, I said, oh, oh, he's going to lose. He's going to lose.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Certain things you don't do. And don't get me wrong, I heard John Jones was the animal, and he's a unicorn. He's one and a billion. He's a unicorn. Don't think that you can pull the same stuff. It's certain things you cannot do. Certain things you cannot do. If you're doing it, it separates you from, you're, it separates you from, you.
Starting point is 00:39:57 The top and just the average. It's that simple. Me and Terrence hanging out after the fight. Bring him to my club. I got a little after party. He says coming out. This guy pours a bottle like this. Fills it up with alcohol.
Starting point is 00:40:12 The wholly up to here, right? And then the rest of this would be a splashy juice. Yeah. And it's like, all right, let's go. And one drink. One drink. Wow. Not known a sip, no nothing doing one drink.
Starting point is 00:40:25 And he's like, let's go. And I'm like, bro, I'm like, listen, it's loud as hell in the club. And I'm trying to explain this to him. I know he's not giving two things about what I'm saying. He's so determined on making me do what he wants me to do right now. But I'm like, listen, brother, I love you, bro. But I'm trying to explain this to you. You do that?
Starting point is 00:40:45 That puts you in a different class. That put you in that class over there and not the elite, you know? Don't be doing that. Like, what is you doing, you know? No, no, no, come on. No, no, come on, you know. he must have asked me about 10 times. I was like, listen, because I shared a battlefield with you,
Starting point is 00:41:04 this is the one thing that you were asking of me? All right, fine. Ah, this is going to be a long night, you know? And we did it at one time, one time, but you don't do stuff like that. Certain stuff you just don't do as a fighter, certain things you didn't do as a comedian, as a podcast or whatever you do. There's certain things you don't do. One hundred. And who would know it better than you?
Starting point is 00:41:29 Not a lot of people have more experience than you. In over 50 pro fights. You can't buy that. It don't matter. It don't matter because these boxers think they know because it's boxing. It's like, it don't matter, brother. They know more. They don't matter.
Starting point is 00:41:44 You got to go on this tour. Who's up next? You'll see. You'll see. I don't want to make it seem like that because then it's going to seem like. The Bobby Green ass-kicking tour is underway. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm going to keep dropping more stuff.
Starting point is 00:41:55 You're going to see more. Whatever wants it can. get it. I'll stop by a couple more places. I got invited more boxers. And if I'm cool with you, I'll go stop by one and we'll film some boxing and do what we'll do a whole stream. But you're going to see, this is just the beginning of my craziness. I was having fun
Starting point is 00:42:08 with that one. Wait till you guys like that one later you see what I can do. The next one, you know, I'm like to fool. Comment if you want smoke. King Green. Pleasure having you on, brother. Thank you for having to. And then else you want to talk about shout out, anything you're working on?
Starting point is 00:42:26 I think the people should be tuned into. I'll try to keep people out my business. Don't worry about my business. All right. Don't worry about him. Yeah, yeah. Mind you own. Keep watching double coverage, like, comments, subscribe. I'm focused on my business. You should be focusing on yours. Yeah, yeah. Building yourself. I'm focusing on building myself. Mind your business, you know. And so, I don't know. I got nothing to go.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Stay out of Bobby's business. We're getting to our business. Yeah. Yeah, there we go. Subscribe all that. My God. I appreciate your brother.
