Clay said he was a better basketball player than you.

I refuted that. But we got Lacey. What's going on, man? How are you doing? I'm doing great. How are you? I'm good. It's our first time meeting.

It is our first time meeting. It is our first time meeting. He did. He said he was the best basketball Fortnite, and I pushed back. I said, what about Lacey. He said, he told you what happened last time he won me won? He said he won six nothing. Yeah, it was, it was seven nothing. And I was with a torn ACA. I said, isn't he handicapped? How did he beat you if he was like Joe from family? And he said, he said he wasn't yet.

I still had my ACL torn at that point. Yeah. No, he's not better. That's not a good look. You can't call yourself the best basketball player if you lose to a If I was healthy, it would have been even worse. It would have been 7-0 quicker. Yeah, so how's your recovery going? You're out of the wheelchair, no more pressure. I am, yeah.

I'm out of the wheelchair, moving around on crutches now. I'm able to take steps, and the next big step that is no crutches. When's that timeline? I'm looking at probably real. Well, I could, like, do it right now, but it's just not good to do it right now. So probably, like, I'd say, I want to say a week or two. How has the adjustment been to this life? I will say it is the hardest thing I've ever went through my life.

Nothing could have prepared me for full knee, construction surgery. It's been, it's been rough, to be honest. It sucks. Especially, like, such a young age, right? Yeah, no, it's terrible. The surgery, the pain after the surgery, and then the physical therapy is, like, honestly, probably the worst part. Yeah, it's not fun at all. So what's, like, a day

of physical therapy look like for you? So I'll wake up probably, like, I'd say, like, 9.30, and then I'm a physical therapist, come to the house. It puts, like, machines on me. Like, uh, what is the machine that, like, makes your muscles, like, br-r-d-l-oh. It's an, ah, ah. Oh, my God. Gosh, you know what I'm talking about, right?

Yeah, I can picture it on me because basically, basically I got a quad graft surgery. So my, my quad doesn't work anymore. So I have to completely retrain the muscles in my leg. Then he'll just sit there and he'll, like, try to like bend it to like points where it can't bend to anymore. Just because you've got to like break it up, the tissue and stuff. So it's just a lot of like painful stuff. I did squats for the first time this morning. How many hours does that take?

It's like an hour and a half a day. Okay. But then I also got to do stuff by myself throughout the day. It's just, it's like a full-time job. Do you think you would have been this committed? a few years ago? Like, have you mature to the point where you're taking this shit as serious as possible? When you can't walk, it's like, okay, I got to get up. I got to go to physical therapy. It's a big incentive. Like, yeah, like, I got to, I can't walk. I can't, I can't wash myself in the shower and

stand up. I can't put my clothes on. It's like, all right, you got to do it. You can't travel, right? Can you fly? I haven't. I think you can, but I haven't. Okay. I mean, that would be a pretty big part of the job. Yeah. So what does Lacey's 2026 look like in your mind? What do you have coming up? What do you want to accomplish? The next big thing I have is I was just on a Netflix show called Side Men Outside. Pretty sure by the time this is out, it'll be out. So I'm not leaking anything, I don't think. But yeah, they're going to announce that within the next few days.

So that's going to be a big thing that I'm like working for and doing content around because it's a whole show was like seven days. And that was a lot of fun. So I'm going to be doing a lot of stream content around that. After I'm done with recovery, hopefully back to traveling, going out of the country. I'm going to Belgium. also going to London and then honestly just kind of I kind of just play it by year so you already shot that yeah it's been shot for like three months okay yeah so Netflix they like to edit it all make it all

perfect right yeah yeah yeah professional got it and you had a lot of fun you probably can't reveal like any detail at all no I can't really say much but it was it was a lot of fun what are your plans you said you're going to do like these Sunday watch parties all audience we have a big time NFL audience mean that's what I do yeah that's kind of been my thing is picking the game so what do you have coming up. Yeah, so that started honestly last season. So I watched football my whole life, huge fantasy guy too. Two years ago was when I like I really started like streaming full time and had a really hard time balancing like watching NFL Sundays in like the games and the prime time games because I would have to be live. So last year I started doing watch parties where I would

just basically have my face on the screen, have a scoreboard under like just to show where it is maybe like a live play by play in the corner and I just watched the game live with like my chat and they just went crazy like I'm talking 50 60,000 people in like there was a game I forget which game it was I think it was the Bears playoff game the one were Caleb Williams oh yeah uh it was not like 70,000 viewers in that game just at the end of it just because people want to see like my reaction is also probably because I put a lot of money on the games so they like to see if you know I lose money or make um but yeah I'm definitely going to be doing those every single Sunday uh playoff's going to be huge got a lot of stuff playing for the NFL season yeah are you going to do like big events or

you're just going to keep it to your I like to keep things about community to be honest I'd probably, for the Super Bowl, I'll probably go all out and do something crazy. Maybe if the Steelers make the playoffs. Other than that, I'll probably just stick to my dreams. I was trying to explain you in your community to like some like older people, like parents and stuff. Yeah. Well, it starts with the Mark Wahlberg thing. Yeah.

Where like they think, when they think of a young guy like the client of Mark World, like that kid's an idiot, you know? Like that's, they don't understand. I'm trying to explain like, no, he can just do anything and his audience kind of follow. Like he doesn't need that. Like it's just like some given. take there. So describe like what you do on a day-to-day basis with your audience and what they're tuning into and what they kind of like out of you. And then what happened with Mark Wahlberg as well. I'm an idiot. I would be honest. Like on a day-to-day basis, it consists of me just like picking my nose,

scratching my ass. Things people can relate to, I feel like. Like we're all, like, let's be honest. We're all sitting in our room, middle of the night, watching a movie, scratching our butt cracks and smelling our fingers, right? We're all doing that. So I just feel like I'm more open about those kind of things. But I definitely do also put a lot of effort into, into my streams and content that I plan. There's seven days in a week. I'm live all seven most of the time. About eight to ten hours a day, I'd say.

Maybe three or four of the days, I have nothing planned where it's just, okay, maybe I'll go live, just talk to my community, like. And how many people are watching that usually? When I'm not doing anything planned? Yeah. Probably like 12 to 15,000. Um, and then maybe I'll play some like video games with like with the chat. They'll watch me play.

Maybe I'll have like a challenge where I'd like to do this thing where I game. And every time I die, I have to like take a hit of just basically just me like showing my personality. And but then on the days, you know, maybe there's a few days a week where I do have planned content. It might be a collab with another streamer. Maybe I'll have an athlete or a celebrity come on stream. Maybe I'll, you know, plan going on a trip to IRA out of the country. The Mark Wahlberg situation, it's just like, and I get what people are saying. But the way I've always done my streams is if I'm doing like a collaboration with someone,

I want it to feel like genuine to me. I want it to be like, okay, you want to be here. We talk beforehand, you know, we're, we know what we're doing. And this one in specific, it was more of just like someone from his team, contacted someone from my team. I had no contact with him at all. Had like very specific requests. Like, oh, you have to watch this trailer.

You have to talk about this movie. You only have one hour time. time limit and then he's gone and I was like okay well can I can we do this on stream uh no like like just like not letting me have the creative control on my stream that's just not something I like to do like I want to be able to do what I want to do and I feel like if you let me create the way I create on my stream like it'll be better for whatever they're trying to promote anyways like they were like just having him come on and talk about his movie and then saying oh you also have to have your friends that live in the house come on stream as well that's a weird request too right it's like

Okay, is it me that you really care about or no? So that's when I was just like, all right, I'm just not going to do it. They kind of, we're trying to box you in. Yeah. And your audience kind of appreciates you when you're being your full authentic self. Yeah, like I'm not going to, yeah, it felt more, it felt more like, uh, you have to do this. You have to do that in exchange. He'll come on your stream, which I get that's, that's a way of business for a lot of people.

And probably for Mark as well, because, you know, he's been doing it for so long. So a lot of his stuff is just definitely business like, oh, I'll promote this and you guys get this. but me personally it's just not how I like to run my business so that's all it was um but I definitely did get a little like I probably shouldn't have set it on stream at first but when I saw like it all break down like in front of my eyes while I was live and I'm getting texts like oh like these rules and I'm on stream getting these things and I'm like okay never mind I just don't want to I've been on stream I haven't that many but like I'll get hit up like something that happened in the stream and then I got to respond on the stream it's kind of weird yeah no I know

that's exactly what it was I was like I was just there and a bunch stuff I saw tweet I was like okay, wait a minute, I was supposed to do this on the same day. And then I get a text, you have to have the Corboys in the stream. And I'm like, okay. No, I would have aired that out too. But now I have this whole, this whole generation of people who obviously, because Mark Wahlberg is like an acting legend. My mom thinks you're a dumb ass.

I think I'm a dumb ass. That's the thing. I know I'm a dumb ass. That's just me. That's how I've always been. Who's this kid with the blonde hair saying no to Marky Mark? No way. Yeah, no, I get it.

And the thing is like, I love, I still love Mark Wahlberg. You guys were in another group, but you guys kind of split off. And now you guys are the owners of this and kind of. Everything runs through you guys, right? Yeah, we used to be in phase.

There was seven when we were in phase. I don't know. I think there was eight of us. Yeah, there's eight because I guess, I mean, yeah, Ksson was living there for a little while. show up. If we showed up, everything was set up. We had the creative was playing. We didn't even know a video. We were shooting half the time. We would just show up and shoot it. It felt like a job, honestly. The very start getting things going, like the hardest thing that we had to do. And because none of us had ever done this was opening a bank account. Like, still. You never opened a bank. Well, like for for our group. Yeah. Like that was the hardest part. Well, like figuring out like, oh, we got to make this a business. Oh, yeah. Like this is a business bank account. Oh, now, now all our YouTube revenue has to go into this bank account. So that was like, that was like a hard part where we were like, okay, we got a sign. these papers we got to do this we got to do that like that's it sound that hard no but when we're trying to all figure this out it is it was and then we're we're trying to figure out oh we got the you know it that fat I don't even think we ended up doing it we had someone else too

like I just like pass no the group but I would think you would go six ways well yeah but it was just like then we had to get like the cards and stuff like the business cards that could be hard I get it's hard to do yeah I've never done that I never opened a business bank account All right. What else can't you do? A lot of shit. Can you do laundry and cook and stuff like that or not? No, I don't know. I don't do my laundry or cook.

Like life on the line? Oh yeah. No, I'm gonna be honest. When I want a chef, when I want a chef up, I can chef up. I make some pretty, like a lot, I do a lot of YouTube videos where I do cooking. I think Silky's got me. Maybe. I don't know.

I might be the best. I might be the best chef. Everything I've ever made turns out good. That's valid. But that's because I have so much experience in the food category. Like I'm like an expertise when it comes to food. Yeah. Like I just did a.

burger or a restaurant blind ranking video where we had 12 of the most popular meals from 12 the most popular restaurants oh so if you did really good you probably got like seven or eight i went 12 for 12 you do what i went 12 for 12 you got all 12 yeah but you could see it no no i had a blindfold on and the meal would be put in front of me and i could feel it and eat it or smell it and i just had to say what meal it was and from where so your sensories allow you to guess all 12 burgers oh it wasn't just burgers it was everything that's slightly concerning yeah are you still like that? You know, it's more funance than America, though. For sure. Like, I was going to all the games. It was so much fun. They should honestly have it in America every single time. Yeah, that would be, I would love that. I think the hype wins. It's so much better than doing it anywhere else.

I agree. I agree. Yeah, we're the best country, so it is what it is. Yeah. And I feel like a lot more people found out and like started watching soccer. No, and then they were all like loving the American culture. Oh yeah. I mean, imagine living in London.

Like, when you go to New York, L.A., like, in general, the United States, you're going to find the best food overall. When I went to Mexico, Mexico's tough. They had great food. See, Mexico's a good call, but if someone said France, I'd be like, get the fuck. No, no. You know what I mean?

France has good pastries, but not. You're really an expert. Yeah, I told you. The pastries? They have great pastries. This is a crazy. Yeah. You have great pastries.

Then I went to this little pastry shop. They had these little like jelly donuts. They had macaroons. You need a food channel. I do. Your eyes lit up. I love food. You're like me with sports, but it's, but you love sports too.

I'm just saying the food. But maybe I'm a mixed food in sports somehow because I love sports too. I got to find a way to merge. You got to find a way to merge the two. Yes. And bring that to your audience. Yeah. Your Steelers guy.

I know, but I feel like if we just had a Josh Allen, Oh, yeah. Like, imagine if the Steelers had Josh Allen. They would be great. We're winning the Super Bowl. I think my prediction, when I did the little, like, the little, like, record prediction was I think I had 13 and 4. 13 and 4? Yeah.

For the Steelers. Yep. No, no bias there. No, no bias at all. 13 and 4. I think we drop a game to the Ravens. I think we drop a game. We always somehow, we'll split with the Bengals.

I forget what the other two losses I had were, but. Yeah, and then 13 wins. Yeah, and then we'll lose first round of the playoffs. Okay. Well, at least. That's what always happens. That is always what happens. Yeah, they don't really have a.

Well, I mean, Tomlin's gone, but you kind of replace him with another old guy with the same first name. I personally liked Mike Tomlin. How could you not? But at the same time, he never really got it done. He won Super Bowls. Yeah, but like, it's been a while. It's been a long time, at least in my, in my watching. Yeah.

Like, it just felt like we were always just. Do you remember the last Steelers Super Bowl win? San Antonio Holmes, right? Yeah. Yeah. And James Harrison. Yeah. I'm pretty sure I was like seven years old or something.

I went that year because I was like an hour and a half drive from Pittsburgh. I remember I went, got a signed jersey by Paul. You were in it growing up.

Oh, yeah. My family's, my dad's a huge Steelers fan. Like, George's all over the wall downstairs. Same cowboys for me. Same. Oh, whoa, whoa. I'm sorry. Same upward.

The league's best team. But then you get injuries and should happen. I think, I think Mahomes gets it done again this year. Mahomes gets it done off the torn ACL. Kelsey's like 43 years old. They got Rishi Rice fighting cases. I think he's got out of county jail. That's true.

It's a tough sell for me. I think he's getting it done. Okay. I don't, I don't see that at all. If he had the right rehab for his ACL, like I'm having right now, he's going to get it done. There, well, I think you're just biased because you see yourself in him. I do. And I agree.

So you started off as a troll in his chat? Yeah, it's honestly, it's crazy. Like, looking back at it, it's just insane. The whole, the way it all developed.

I was, I was in college, um, studying criminal justice and pre-law and staying in my dorm. I was just like a Fortnite player. I just played Fortnite for fun. Um, I wasn't a streamer or anything. I was like a Twitch watcher, like a Fortnite watcher and I only watched clicks in Aiden Ross. There's only two streamers I watched. I would like donate little like $5 messages to him and just like troll them and just like say some like, something mean, like just a troll. Like if he died in the game, I'd be like, ha, ha. why you died like you suck or something like that and then got to a point where I was doing it so often his chat started to like recognize when I would donate and they would be like oh w lacey and then eventually he invited me to play fortnight with him and we played a game of fortnight the clips went

viral because I was posting my own clips of just me donating to him and they were doing like a couple hundred thousand views just me like donating played the clips got like a couple million views of us playing and then I started streaming wow yeah do you have any ideas idea you would ever become a streamer when you were studying pre-law in college? It was not even thought in my mind to ever. I hated cameras. Like, if you asked me to take a picture, like, with my friends, I would have said no. Like, I hated cameras.

I wasn't on the internet. I didn't really watch YouTube besides, like, I mean, YouTubers I watched. Yeah, I didn't really watch YouTube besides, like, highlights of NFL games or NBA games. Just totally out of the dark. Yeah, I was, I was going to be, I mean, my plan was to be a lawyer. How were you? Do you think you could have looked at? back on it? Do you think like how does life go?

A thousand percent. You would have been like a dog lawyer. I don't know. It was either a lawyer or I was like my, my dream was to be a detective. That was like growing up. That was my dream. After my MBA dreams left.

Okay, it was three years ago. And I was doing a sub-a-thon. You know what a sub-thon is? I do. First one ever. I was doing the sub-a-thon living in a studio apartment. It was my first year of streaming. I had no money to my name and someone came in my chat and my sub-a-thon was about to end.

I wanted it to keep going. They said, I'll donate you $3,000 in gifts if you take a picture in a red in a thong and post it on Twitter I negotiated a little bit got it up to 4,000 $4,000 that's that was three that was four months of my rent at the time I just moved to Dallas I'm pursuing becoming a full-time streamer I'm like okay this is a lot of money this is more money than I'm seeing in a month yeah I had red boxers took scissors cut it into a thong

put them on took the picture posted it got my $4,000 and then the person refunded it oh my car He refunded it. Yes. Yes. So you did that for free. He called his bank, said it was a fraudulent purchase, and charged back and refunded it.

So you took that picture for free and posted it to Twitter? Yeah. But, but it's weird how everything works out. It's almost like everything happened for a reason because it went viral that I got refunded. So like the clip went viral. Everybody was talking about it on Twitter. I had a couple like crypto millionaires coming to my chat and donate me more money. then the money that got refunded.

So it all worked out in the end. There you go. I ask clicks like any funny things I can bring up. I thought he was just going to tell like a funny story and then he sent me that picture. Yeah, no, that, yeah, it's, it was. And it got refunded. Yeah, he refunded the money.

That part was a little tricky for me. So growing up, my dad was very strict. A lot more strict than he is now because obviously like I said, it's developed into more of like a, like yeah, he's obviously my dad, but we're like, he's like my friend. But growing up, it was, it was, he was very strict in terms of he didn't want me on the computer. And I would be like playing a fortnight. or playing a video game, playing 2K for 10 hours, 12 hours, sometimes 15 hours a day, just cooped up in my room.

Sometimes I wouldn't even leave my room. And he was very strict on like, you cannot, like, you've got to do something. Go go outside. Go hang out with people. Go get a job. When I started to see a little success with the streaming, I had to make sure that I had something to show for it, if that makes sense. I couldn't just be like, dad, I want to drop out of college

and pursue playing a video. games for a living. So I did, there's Thanksgiving. I think this was 2022 or 2020. Thanksgiving. Everybody in my dorm went home for Thanksgiving and I stayed in my dorm. I was the only person, everything, the whole dorm was empty. It was dark except for my room.

I did a 14 day stream. So I was live for 14 days straight. And over the course of those 14 days, due to a lot of factors, you know, TikTok's blowing up. Yeah. Thongs. Clicks raided me. A bunch of stuff.

I got, I made $33,000 to two weeks. I skipped Thanksgiving with my family for it. I came home after Thanksgiving and I showed my parents the $33,000 in my dashboard. And the first thing my dad said was, well, where's the money? And I'm like, how do I explain to him? I get the money. It's not here yet, but I get it. He was like, okay, well, where, and then I, that's when I brought up.

I was like, I want to drop out. I want the time I was averaging like 800 viewers on Twitch. I was like, I want to take a gap year, try to take a break from college. focus on streaming full-time and go to Dallas. Surprisingly, like, I was very, very surprised because they immediately supported me. I was also giving up a scholarship I had, $25,000 per semester scholarship that I had, which was like crazy because that was like over half of what my tuition was. And they were just immediately supportive.

And they were like, yeah, you can do it. We believe in you. Worse comes to worse. You fail. You come back home and you go back to school. And I was just super surprised because I did not think that's how it would go. And then within the next week, they were helping me sit down online, looking at apartments in Dallas, looking where to move to. By Dallas?

That's where Clicks lived. That's where all the Fortnite pros were going because PING. So I was, Clicks told me moved to Dallas. Let's like come here. So that's what I did. My mom drove with me and all my stuff all the way from Pennsylvania to Dallas. Help me move in. Help me get my apartment set up.

And then within a month, I moved out of that apartment because it was terrible. It was infested with bugs. It was like $700 a month in Dallas and then I moved in with clicks. When I was in middle school, I spent like 12 grand on my dad's credit card playing Madden Mobile. Oh my God, I used to do that too. Yeah, so I did that and then I was like failing out of middle school. Like I had like all D's and C's. Yeah, well I would play all day.

I hated school, you know? So I was number one in the world though. In Madden Mobile? Yeah, I was number one in the world, 2015 when the game was like at its peak. I was 13 years old. I was not gonna lie. I was like 13 years old. I was number one in the world and I would just play all day.

When I was in school, we'd be inquired, like sneak off on my iPad. And then my dad found the credit card charges, and that was a big discussion. And then when he found out I was failing school, that was an even worse discussion. So, yeah, everything got cooked. I wonder if we ever played each other in Madden Mobile. We probably were. There were some other degenerates who I would play constantly. Yeah.
