Starting point is 00:00:00 You know, maybe me and Connor will be fighting at some point. He said you were fired? We could do MM. Yeah, and everybody wants to jump on every joke. He's funny sometimes. I'm going to fight again for some more money. I don't care who it is. What I say at the end of my post-fight speech, anybody, anywhere, anytime.
Starting point is 00:00:16 We're here to fight. Ready to bat. Ready to flex. Neon is at. You see where it's at. Come tune in, we're on string with a check. You can Michael Parson get you a sack. Some of my cover.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Deionahsonin, bad like a wreck you. Here a beginner. Cook you a lockup. Yeah, for dana. What's up, guys, Mistig Zach here. Welcome back to episode 20 of double coverage. Today, I'm honored to be joined by Platinum Mike Perry, fresh off his biggest win ever over Nate Diaz at MVP MMA.
Starting point is 00:00:46 I was there, bro. I was there. I saw you. I saw him caught, saw you, you know, the elbows, the knees, the body shots. You like hanging out in Cali? Yeah, I do like hanging out in Cali. Yeah, very nice. It was nice out there.
Starting point is 00:00:59 I enjoyed myself. I had a good week. The fans were fun You know They brought the The bs which hyped me up I had a check I was like it relax
Starting point is 00:01:09 You know he's a good guy You don't need to just like boo him the whole time Because he loved Nate Diaz But they were doing it Got to expect it right I'm in the West Coast Fighting the West Coast legend And you know
Starting point is 00:01:20 So it's it's all fun And it's all fair And love and war You know what I'm saying So we battled it out I don't know People are serious about a rematch I beat him up for two rounds.
Starting point is 00:01:33 Maybe he would train harder. Maybe he didn't train. People said he was in crazy shape. I don't care, man. I got to get back to the gym. You know, we made some money, but now I'm going to have another more dangerous opportunity that I got to stay ready for.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Yeah, you were in great shape. Yeah. We returned to 170, you were ripped up. It's a lot of work. It's a ton of work to get up consistently every day. and it's not just like the training the training is a fun part of it but then it's after training you're so beat up your body crumbles after day in and day out and or like when you take a rest i took a rest after the fight and then i've gone back to the gym a couple times i hit the track yesterday and i put in great work
Starting point is 00:02:23 i was killing my times but then like today walking around has been kind of rough you know what i'm saying so i got a a big part of the training camps is like you're working recovery on your body constantly hitting ice baths doing stretches and and um like getting pt done stuff like that how does it compare now for you getting ready for a fight or even just normal day life compared to when you were first coming up when we first got introduced to you um that's you know I don't really know. I just feel like I'm smarter how I choose my training now, but I always try to keep that recklessness that I had when I was young
Starting point is 00:03:08 where, you know, don't let no one try you, keep myself healthy. That's a big part of fighting is dieting outside of camp and, you know, continuing to work out. My coach is good motivation for that. All the fighters here in Central Florida, these guys are at the gym day in and day out. And I definitely like to take my rests. You were telling me before we started the show, I don't hang out.
Starting point is 00:03:34 I train. Yeah. That's your life. Yeah, because he, you know, he was like, yo, we'll connect you with Rick Flair. And I'm like, I don't want to, I'm not the guy to meet famous people. Don't they say don't meet your heroes and stuff? I'm not saying Rick Flair is my hero. He did some cool stuff.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Yeah. He had some good moments, some great moments even. And he's that guy. but he's, you know, he's well past his prime. He's still out here living. And, you know, I just, I got a lot of work to do. You know, I want to be jet flying and, and. Lemmiseen dealing.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Lemmisee riding. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? A little more often. So, you know, there's business goals. No, for sure. And it feels like you're hitting a peak 10 years into your career where you have that aggression, but you're also measured in your approach. You weren't, you know,
Starting point is 00:04:28 reckless to the point you're putting yourself in danger. You were calculated when you were going against Nate. Yeah, I was. I was trying to prepare. I think there was some, you know, there's definitely some bigger challenges, especially even knowing what I'm doing next. Is it going to be MMA?
Starting point is 00:04:47 Is it going to be bare-knuckle boxing? You know, I need to figure out what I'll be. be doing and trained for that but also martial arts can can be a lifestyle and you know teach you how to be prepared for any situation so you know i try to stay working out keep myself healthy work on the recovery and stay prepared for the challenge that comes whether it's bare knuckle or m m ms you know there were some things nate wasn't going to do to me in a fight like shoot a double leg if i'm going to fight a famous maybe Russian MMA fighter or
Starting point is 00:05:25 you know or if it's bare knuckle boxing you know the the punching I seem to have a developed quite a bit of my striking there I felt very dangerous looking at the exchanges
Starting point is 00:05:40 Nate was still because he's savvy right he could take a shot and he's kind of cool with it and then he'll throw some stuff but it's like okay if it hits me but I'm not worried about it than, you know, how bad am I really doing?
Starting point is 00:05:57 Just because you seem to get hit a little bit, that's the game. No, and yeah, you've developed that style through, I guess, just striking only in the bare knuckle scene, right? Right. For the last five years or so, I've been at bare knuckle, and now Darren Till made his way over there. He didn't exactly call for me after the fight. No, that was weird.
Starting point is 00:06:19 He, well... Um, you know, after his fight, uh, I think there was a difference in my debut as far as opponent was. Maybe his opponent did have some experience. Uh, so I can't knock him there. And he took the shot, went down to a knee, you know, you make a mistake. It's not about how many times you get knocked down. It's about how many times you get back up. He got back up, finished the guy off second round. So, uh, you know, Darren's a tough fight. It's a bigger weight class. You know, I just, fought at 170 and it felt like I was the best in the world at 170. If we're talking going to 185, it's a much different thing when a guy is cutting from 215 and goes to 85 and I'm going
Starting point is 00:07:06 from 185 and I got a way and I, that's what I, that's how big I am. So it's like, you know, I'm giving up advantages and things like that. It just needs to make sense for me to take a challenge and when I say make sense, I mean makes hundreds of millions of dollars. Why not the millions? You know, it makes lots of millions or something. So I accept challenges. That's what I do. I'm a prize fighter.
Starting point is 00:07:38 I fight for money. No matter what anyone want to say on the comments anywhere, you know, overly people, like overall people have been great. And I've just been trying to stay humble. because I know I've got to go back to working out all the time to stay ahead of the curve. It's a great mindset and that's what's always separated the best of the best. You know, as the guys who are constantly putting in that work weekend and week out. Like even Mayweather, he has a reputation of, oh, I eat pizza, I drink soda.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Not really. He's running 10 miles when he's not in camp. You know, he still puts that work in. He's a trip to watch. I like Mayweather's stuff. The fact that he's like throwing crowsy, crazy combinations and he's just doing this. And his padman is like,
Starting point is 00:08:26 yeah, working on him. And he's just like, chilling. I know it's, it's a sick amount of talent that he's got. You got a sick amount of talent. He knows how to make everything as interesting as possible with the All Access and the Showtime show. You know, he plays it up.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Yeah, you know, I played some things I felt like people, people missed or didn't really, didn't really give me the callouts on at the press conference and I told those two guys to shut up with their stupid argument so the you know the press could ask us more questions
Starting point is 00:09:03 because we let y'all argue about not texting each other for a little while now so you know that there was a chance for some algorithm swings there you know what I mean so some people get to push some people don't you just have to keep working
Starting point is 00:09:19 It's the same thing in my field. Like you have that episode, you think it's going to hit and it's going to be everywhere, but sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes something will surprise you. Like, that's what everyone caught on to when I said that. What do we got to do to make the difference? You know, that's what probably entrepreneurs and hustlers are constantly thinking that men around the world are thinking that all day. Like, what do I got to do?
Starting point is 00:09:43 How do I got to do it? If we already figured out so much and there's just so much more to figure out little, little little things man just that's why i be on on social media because i see those little investment videos or like you know how to run the trust or or set up like set up your monies and your corporations and this and that like i'm constantly trying to figure this out and it it always leads back to constantly trying to figure it out like just don't seem to get it all the time. It's one big loop.
Starting point is 00:10:21 It's just, what do they call? Yeah, loop. That's when you get caught in a loop. Yeah. It's tough. It's been a while. And happened to anyone. It happened to me a few times.
Starting point is 00:10:31 What's up guys? It's Mystic Zach, aka your host of double coverage, aka the biggest sports fan in the world. I personally endorse Fathead. Fathead is the absolute best place to get any sort of sports merchandise. I've been using their products all my life.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Growing up, I had a Dallas Cowboys themed bedroom. I had a Des Brian Fathead hanging above my bedroom wall, and now exclusively on Fathead, they have Knicks championship gear. They just pull it off the impossible one of the biggest championships in major sports by winning their first championship 53 years. The city of New York's going crazy. Knicks fans are going crazy. Go to fadhead.com using the link in our bio, buy some Nick's merch, celebrate that championship win or support any of your favorite teams in any of the major sports across the NFL, MLB, NHL, wherever.
Starting point is 00:11:14 How has life changed post Nate Diaz? Are you getting bigger offers, more offers? Do you feel like you've earned another level of respect? Has it motivated you more in the gym? How is life change? Yeah. Life has changed in the fact that, you know, it's where I'm a little confused at.
Starting point is 00:11:37 It's where I'm like, right now we're taking this successful moment in a bit of a victory lap to where I feel I earned it, so I'll enjoy it, but I'm chilling. And I'm like, where are the calls? I mean, you know, I should maybe keep myself out there and exposed because I did such a good job leading up. and I should build off of that. But at the same time, sometimes you strain yourself constantly trying to say the right thing and do the right thing and be right. And so it's like I've kind of been out of the space for a bit. I kind of took a step back, kind of hid myself.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I felt like that's where real success is where you can disappear. and I have not been able to do that for so long I've kept myself in any algorithms I could. Now, I have fun doing it and, you know, interacting with some people in certain ways, but then other times it feels like, you know, I'm just working and I don't know where it's leading me. So maybe I take a step back and see what my options are. There's no check like that fight check. but I know that streamers ain't feeling that way. That some of these guys like that, you know, but also I'm big time dad.
Starting point is 00:13:12 You know, I got a lot of dad duties and stuff, and that's not something that needs to be streamed anywhere. So it's not a reality show. And, you know, I just got to get back to the fight bag at another time and build my businesses on the outside slowly, continuously, consistently. and I think then I'll find a better rhythm. Yeah, you've got your own promotion, right? Dirty boxing. Dirty boxing championships.
Starting point is 00:13:43 We're a top dog in combat sports. People love tuning in. We put some great fights together. Our matchmakers and our team, the production is top of the line. And we're very excited to bring people more. It's just a real, there's a lot going on in a business right now in the markets. and the way everything is moving and who's putting money where and making investments. So there's just a matter of time.
Starting point is 00:14:09 You know, I've been to a couple. It's a great time. Okay. Yeah, yeah, I really enjoyed it. And how involved are you in the promotion already boxing? Are you in these meetings week to week and leading up to it? You know, they got to get me back in there for sure. I was in a lot in the early stages before the first four.
Starting point is 00:14:30 We had weekly meetings. more often and, you know, then there there came the time for me to represent outside of the promotion itself and focus on my abilities as whatever you want to call it. I'm Platinum Mike Perry, bro, and I'm happy that people put some respect on my name, though. Let's go. Big time. fight coming up a guy that you've exchanged words with and i think you would love to fight connor mcgregor taking on max holloway at 170 pounds coming up in july what do you think about that matchup yeah of course it's a great matchup um m m math is weird when it comes to matchups and like uh who beat who like there's people uh that i've beat who uh that i've beat who uh that i've beat
Starting point is 00:15:34 that beat someone that I couldn't even possibly fight that was just too big or, you know, ahead of me or, you know, I've caught myself up to be in a position, you know, Paula Costa is talking about, you know, his options and fighting me was one of his favorite options if he could possibly get it, whether it's MVP MMA or it's bare knuckle. I like Paulo. He's a hustler. and he's always making noise. So, you know, he's huge.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Yeah, yeah. But, you know, when you meet at a weight, you know, that's what I'm saying. It's like 170, I should be fighting for a world title at that weight. I didn't even know I can make that weight anymore. And I did. It was five or six years since I've made 170, and I made it against Nate perfectly.
Starting point is 00:16:30 and I just felt like a champion at that. And, you know, anybody can say what they want. I got valid credentials. And, you know, there was no belt, but the last fight against Nate, you know, he made me believe that he was prepared for it. He said his self now could beat his younger self. and, you know, the younger Nate Diaz was a guy that, you know, he beat Prime Connor McGregor.
Starting point is 00:17:07 When McGregor was that guy and Connor back then had beat Max Holloway. And Max Holloway has changed. Like the game, the MMA math is crazy. And the Holloway we saw beat Justin Gaichi, who's about to fight Ilyas of Poria at the White House 250. like that Max Holloway was insane and then he goes down to 145 we see the the greatest performance at 155 from max with his Hawaiian shorts and he goes down again to 145 look like a skeleton gets knocked out by Ilya then comes up to 55 and Charles Olivera backpacks him and he still gets the opportunity um fighting
Starting point is 00:17:56 Connor and I think it's a really good fight but I do but here's the thing Connor's a more natural 170 now where that's going to be a good weight class for him he's had fights there Max has never fought at 170 I think Max might be too small and too weak to face Connor here speed isn't just going to do everything even though Connor's big on not getting hit he moves well he throws power punches and he gets gets out of the line of fire. But, you know, max his speed,
Starting point is 00:18:31 I don't know if, you know, I guess it's just a setup for a Connor big return. And then, you know, maybe me and Connor will be fighting at some point. He talked.
Starting point is 00:18:46 You did. He said you were fired. We could do MMA. Yeah. And everybody wants to jump on. Every joke that says he's funny sometimes. And he's actually cool. Like, I talk to him a little bit on the side. And sometimes it's like a little bipolar. Like, I don't know if he's going to be or if we're being nice to each other. But, you know, it's all good, man. I'm going to fight again for some more money. I don't care who it is. What I say at the end of
Starting point is 00:19:15 my post fight speech in MVP, MMA, I said, anybody, anywhere, anytime. We're here to fight. Let's go. At the end of the day, when he makes sure. It just promotes you and your name, right? Anytime that guy says your name, it gets tens of millions of views, right? I guess so, right? More money in your pocket. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:33 Well, keep talking about me. I need to monetize it better. And, you know, actually, my boxing coach hit me up. We got to connect, actually, my boxing coach, because we talked about, you know, he's a smart guy. My boxing coach, he thinks, outside the box. and I got to connect my YouTube and my views so I can start you know getting off of clips
Starting point is 00:20:00 Yeah getting off my own clips No I got I got to get paid off my clips I gotta start trying I got a I got a 19 year old who specializes and all that I got maybe make some investments Pay some people to clip me so then I start popping up Like neon or or clav Or some of them other guys
Starting point is 00:20:21 Yeah neon you know hit mic up, you know, set them up on a Discord server or something. Yeah. Yeah, I don't mind, man. So show me the ropes. Yeah. Get them, get them activated. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Let's go. Would you stream or you're just too busy in your fight camp to... No, it's fighting family. It's family and fighting, you know. And I think there's a lot of that there. You know, Rampage is killing it right now. We're all proud of him and he's doing great. and I think he's reeled himself in a bit
Starting point is 00:20:53 from the wildness that he maybe started as. He's a much more, like, built bigger entity in his streaming where it's like he's got two little doppelgangers just kind of riding his coattails with Dean and AB. A.B.'s being a little bit. But he's just having fun and he don't care what I say or anybody else. So, you know, if I did it,
Starting point is 00:21:24 Sometimes you shouldn't wait. Sometimes you should take a chance. But sometimes what's the point? If you worked so much already and you can't just wait. Darren kind of did that. I was in bare-knuckle fighting for five years and he had like two fights. He fought Rocco like a while after I beat him. After Rockhole got beat by somebody else or something, man.
Starting point is 00:21:48 You know, you kind of sit on outside. I haven't sat out of the fight game for the past 10. years. I've been in the fight game fighting so there hasn't been a year off or and and even our time in between fights. We're training. So. It's a tough bounce. Rampage somehow is like as good of a streamer as he was a fighter. He was a world champion fighter. Yeah. Yeah. No, he's a beast man and
Starting point is 00:22:17 and he's his world championship attitude has really like translated into his streaming and he's just out there having fun you know um if i could find a way for me and my wife to go out and stream that but i don't i also don't want to stream us i don't want to do that either yeah and also these guys have like coming up to them trying to start trouble you're the bad guy rampage is bigger and he's older and wiser he's more used to it uh so you know me i don't even have as many followers as rampage so you know when people come up to me sometimes especially if i want to so like i'll we'll go viral but then i'm gonna get in trouble it's gonna cost me money i don't want to do that no no not at this point i don't know what the plan is you know what i'm
Starting point is 00:23:16 saying like i've been trying to build it and i don't even know what i'm building Get there As long as you keep winning like that And performing like that You'll get there Fighting If you look so good at 170 I could plan that
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yeah I could plan a fight Let me know And I agree 170 is your weight class Let me know You know Yeah I fought
Starting point is 00:23:39 Barrenuckle at 175 And two fights at 185 And then I fought Jake at 200 That was a bit That was a stretch It was tough for me But like You know
Starting point is 00:23:51 I think about that because going to 170, you know, I told Jake, like, if we did an MMA fight, if he made the weight class 200 again, I'm not going to try to go up to 200. I'm going to be a lean, you know, 180, 185, maybe, and move faster, move better, be, because when I cut that 170, it's like the energy that I have. have is insane. When I make that weight and then I get to eat a little bit and to put weight on over 24 hours, it's like insane energy. Unstoppable, it feels like.
Starting point is 00:24:32 So, you know, to feel like that going into a fight, Jake could be bigger. I think he's crazy calling out Francis. But what do I know? What do I know, dude? We just got to take the challenge. It looks crazy when they're like next to each other and Francis is so big. I don't know. Maybe Jake knows something we don't. I think he felt really good about the Joshua performance,
Starting point is 00:24:56 the fact that he was able to go six rounds on short notice and went a round. Yeah? Went a round? I gave him the fourth round. Okay. No, that's tough, man. I wouldn't. Maybe I would.
Starting point is 00:25:13 90 million. 90 million, right? I would. And all you got to do is try to last longer. You can run away. you're going to run. He didn't fight like how you fight. He was on the back foot evading.
Starting point is 00:25:27 I don't know if I could fight like he tried. I've never seen you fight like that. That would be. Can't run away. Who don't? You're always going right at people. That's very different. It's the game plan.
Starting point is 00:25:39 That is the game plan. That's my bare knuckle so perfect. Yeah. So what other athletes do you guys talk to on here? We do. I see you got the LSU football helmet over there. Oh, that was already here. Oh, this is just...
Starting point is 00:25:52 Yeah, we just... They were like... Mike Rottler manager, like Mike Perry and Orlando, I googled Orlando studio and I found this spot. But we do NFL. We've interviewed
Starting point is 00:26:01 plethora of Hall of Famers. We had Lamar Odom and the basketball side. Okay. You know, I love fighting. That's where I grew up in. So we got, you know, boxing, MMA.
Starting point is 00:26:11 We did Jake Paul at his camp in Puerto Rico. Okay. Yeah. I guess. It's cool life out there. It's chill. It's all fighting camp.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Like, there's no distractions. Yeah. You got to do it at a different level. I like to be able to go outside. Not a lot of that there. Yeah, I feel like they're stuck on their property. Yeah, they're stuck on their property. Or if they go out, they're going out with security.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Yeah, they for sure are, if they ever go out, but they're kind of stuck at their places. You've got to learn how to move differently. Yeah, it's a different lifestyle. To be a celebrity and go in somewhere and thousands of people come crowd in the grocery store. Oh, my gosh, this person's here. do that for something. Michael Jackson. Speed. But they're in other countries when this stuff is happening.
Starting point is 00:26:57 They're in other countries and people go, oh, my God. And then thousands of people are coming down the street. I don't know how you handle those situations. I don't know. And Jake hit a whole new level when he fought Mike. Like before it was manageable and then he fought Mike and now it just on merit. Oh, really? Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:14 You sparred Jake and you came to the gym in 2021. And it was like he was there, but it wasn't like now where it's just like... He definitely made some strides and changed. Now like grandmas know him. Made some development. Yeah. It's hard to believe people sometimes who they know or who they don't. Some people don't watch anything on TV or social media.
Starting point is 00:27:44 They don't know. There's certain names you ask. Like, oh, do you know? I guess you would say. Oh, do you know who? But like, I don't know him, so I'm not going to throw that name around. But, like, I'll be like, oh, do you know Connor McGregor? Usually everybody knows Connor, but I've had a couple people be like, oh, who's that?
Starting point is 00:28:02 Really? I'd be like, you lying. They're lying. I think people like to seem like they're cool. Like, you get, especially, sorry, sometimes girls are like, I don't know who that is. Like, you know who that is. Oh, you know, yeah, right. He probably DM'd you.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Yeah, dude. Out here in Orlando, especially. But in Orlando. I'm different. I don't know. Oh, really? Wow. That's so cool.
Starting point is 00:28:25 Come check this out. Yeah. If you don't know Connor McGregor, I'll date you. Like, that's not how it works. Like, just admit you're a fan, you know. You don't need to play. Oh, man. Who's Drake?
Starting point is 00:28:35 Like, no one's believing that. Yeah. Yeah, not believable. But Connor, yeah, he transcended it. How do they do it? How did they get, apparently, like, when Connor's tickets go up, sell. They're like sold out.
Starting point is 00:28:53 The whole arena instantly, boom, and the prices were high, huge. And you know tons of Irish people are going to be there. Like the whole country of Ireland just jumps on planes and flies to Vegas and turns up for economy. And he doesn't want to fight in six and a half years. It doesn't matter. They're still going to turn up. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:29:15 That's wild. Yeah, the cheapest seats like five grand to sit at the very top. You know, like that. Make me want to just, you know what? I got some money for a fight. Why don't I just go disappear? Why don't I just get off being in the algorithm? Just forget it.
Starting point is 00:29:32 And I'll get another fight. You know, whatever. I'll just, I'll fight. But then I won't be loud in the buildup to the fight. I mean, me and Nate weren't. No, it's so. It was hard. I was trying.
Starting point is 00:29:44 But, like, there was no. I didn't say, like, oh, he probably would have left. I'm like, fuck, God. I don't have stayed for that. So it was like, we didn't really. So then when them other guys were talking, you know, shut up. That was funny.
Starting point is 00:30:01 And then we finally started arguing a little bit, but not even Nate. I asked him, like, how do you think you're going to beat me? You know, I'm going to do this. It's not going to. So it's like, my job isn't talking. I'm not a comedian. I try sometimes, but this is faint.
Starting point is 00:30:22 I'm not that good. I'm a better fighter. And if I don't got a million followers for fighting by now, I've done my best. So I got what I got. It's time to disappear. I feel like you're hitting a new peak. I think you'll hit a million soon after this fight.
Starting point is 00:30:43 I think you looked like a whole different. I'm sure you felt that way too. But it looked like how you described, the energy after the weight cut or whatever it was, you just looked like a whole different animal in there. because I saw you fight UFC for Lauderdale too and you looked way better than then
Starting point is 00:30:58 and then you would think when you're a younger man you're better, fresh or whatever but even in your age you look better than ever Yeah I felt good in that fight The cowboy Olivero fight Yeah you look good now
Starting point is 00:31:09 You looked better in the Nate Yeah I mean That's where it's unfortunate It makes you think like Oh how much was Nate prepared Everyone's I talked to your eyes
Starting point is 00:31:24 He was in the area. He's like he's training harder than ever. All his people say he's in a win and whatever. So he made $170. Yeah. All he did was put me in danger. Now I'm going to then go fight some world champion. And I'm either world champion material
Starting point is 00:31:45 and can hurt that world champion or you know, I built up just to have a setback. but those don't worry me. The journey itself is a great reward, and that's the goal, man, just keep grinding with the fan. Has MVP hit you up about a rematch, for real? So if I get the call, it would be from my team at first round management. Those are the guys that, you know, have the power to tell me to jump,
Starting point is 00:32:24 and I ask how high. I, they're very solidified and respected and all the business that they involve themselves in. So, you know, I take heed in their word
Starting point is 00:32:42 and, when they call me with something, then I know I have something. Otherwise, I guess I'm just chilling. Not yet, though. But it sounded so, crazy in the moment. I'm like they're going to rematch
Starting point is 00:32:56 after. It wasn't like type of fight. You're like, oh, I want to Well, they are saying I don't know. Nekisa said it too. It wasn't just Nate. They said it. Yeah, I think Jake said it. I'm like, wait, but. Maybe Nate's trying to train harder now and then
Starting point is 00:33:11 wants to take me to NorCal where somebody's going to Yeah, that would be a special. Like the Gladiator movie where you downstairs and then he goes up on the in the arena and he still kills him. It's good.
Starting point is 00:33:27 Yeah, dog. Let's go. That might be the strategy, because unless he has, like, a new face, I just don't see how you don't... The same way. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:36 I mean, like, I'm thinking about how I can do that to another opponent. Like, oh, I wonder if they'll bleed the same as Nate. If I hit them with some of that, you know, maybe that could be all... It could be. It just...
Starting point is 00:33:52 I think he's the old. school style. I think my style developed a little bit of watching early tough, which is when he was developing in UFC and we all watched it and have a bit of an old style. So there are certain things that would have changed that fight big time, like some body kicks or head kicks by Nate or double leg takedowns. It would have changed the fight. So I know that other MMA fighters have a lot. A larger range of abilities in those areas. So I'm just thinking about all the options or where I'm going to end up fighting or who I'm going to end up fighting.
Starting point is 00:34:35 It can be tiring. So then I try not to. But, you know, I like to try to think to get better. You have to. And you're going to fight nothing but dangerous guys from here and out. Yeah. So give me enough time to. to work out, I guess, and recover.
Starting point is 00:34:59 You're going to be in pain anyways. No pain, no gain. Old sayings. Try to live by them. You know, I'm in pain. It don't matter. I got to get up and work. Facts.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Yeah. Thanks, bro. My guy. I just, all I did was hype myself up. And, you know, let's all know. know to be excited for the return of platinum period. For now, I'm going to disappear. The King of Violence, Platinum Mike Perry,
Starting point is 00:35:33 tune into his next fight. Where it'll be, we don't know yet, but it'll probably be someone really dangerous. Let's go.
