Starting point is 00:00:00 I think if me and Ryan Garcia, we meet up, we match up, you know, you're going to have to put me to sleep in order for me not to get back up. What about him makes you nervous? I was going to say the drugs that he gets popped with, but nah, I got to go for Ryan Garcia. I think Ryan has the attributes to definitely defeat Carnabend. It's Tiofima Lopez, the takeover and three division world champion, and you're watching double coverage. Let's go. What's up, guys, Mr. Zach here. Welcome back to season two of double coverage presented by Draft Kings today.
Starting point is 00:00:30 I'm joined by the Super WBA Welterweight champ. Mr. Tiafima Lopez. How are you doing, sir? I'm doing great. I'm doing real great. Feeling like a champ, man. You're fresh off of Floyd made with her face time? Tell me what was that about?
Starting point is 00:00:42 Yeah, me in Florida, he had called me. I had pitched him an idea. I was like, hey, listen, man, I don't know what you're doing with Kamel Morton, your fighter, but I would love to sign him over to take over promotions. He said, what's your offer? I put out a number out there, and we FaceTime, and then we're talking right now in terms of just different things. co-promotion, maybe something in that terms.
Starting point is 00:01:02 But it's great to just, you know, get myself around in my promotion hat, so to speak, and just, you know, try to get these young fighters into the mix now. I love you and Floyd together, because I feel like you do have a lot in common. Tell me about your relationship with him and how that started. You guys are both in Vegas right now and kind of how that goes. Yeah, it was interesting. You know, he's FaceTiming me and his house. You know, he looked like he just came out to gym again.
Starting point is 00:01:24 It's crazy. But the guy's a machine and knowing that the fact that we can do this, right? Right, and how he's so open about speaking to us in terms of how business may operate and how it works, what he was doing in Atlanta and why he was there. And expressing to me details that he doesn't necessarily need to. But that's the kind of person he is behind closed doors. And he said, if you want to find me, just call me. That's kind of like what he's trying to resonate to that fighter of his, Carmont, and the father,
Starting point is 00:01:52 because they're talking bad about him right now. So I think Florida is just pretty much saying, hey, I'm here. I'm not into the internet and talking back and forth there. If you have an issue, just call me and we'll basically resolve it. Yeah, Floyd, probably the most misrepresented athlete I've seen in the media. Oh, yeah. He couldn't be nicer when you really meet him, and he couldn't work harder, but you couldn't hear worse things out of the media that come from people that don't know them
Starting point is 00:02:19 and have never really spoken to him. You know, and he expresses that from time to time. He expresses the fact that, you know, the father of Carmill Morton expressing those things. And, you know, he says, look, he doesn't even, he doesn't even, it doesn't hurt him. He says bad publicity is still talking about me. Yeah. And it's like, man, the mental strength that this man has is just on another level, you know. But it's, I guess it's what he's grown up into, right?
Starting point is 00:02:44 Being the most hated, being the most flamboyant type of person, but that's his persona. And it worked for so long to now, you know, and I think that he's in talks of possibly having a rematch with Manny Pac-Yo. I mean, there's a lot of good things going for Floyd, and I think the world has yet to see what's next for him. And he's still in the gym. Still in the gym. He's still training. He's training with Shakurr Stevenson. Chikor hits him up, and he's like, hey, you want to come in, come in.
Starting point is 00:03:10 And they're training together. He's getting ready for his next fight, which hasn't been announced yet. A lot of good things. I think Florida is all about trying to help and stay in that loop with us young fighters that are still in the game. I haven't heard him say this, but he probably sees a bit of himself and you. Growing up with you in the gym, I always, when I became an adult and was doing sports media, that the two artist workers that I had been around in the gym were you and Floyd. Yeah. The guys who were really putting in that extra work outside the gym, the long runs, the long hours. I mean, you came up.
Starting point is 00:03:38 I remember at our gym on University Drive, and then you'd go train at Ham's and Boka, and then you would train with Milton, and you would train at all these different gyms and learn from everyone in this scene and work your ass off, all the way to the Olympic trials when you get robbed of a spot on the team. and then you're 23 years old and you beat Lomachenko the boogeyman, right, and really took over boxing. But it was a lot of trials and tribulations to get you there. No, seriously, it is. But I wouldn't trade it for anything else, you know.
Starting point is 00:04:07 I think that you need to go through that adversity and that kind of tension in the sport to know how much and how bad do you want this, right? So it all eventually ends up working out for me, you know? And, you know, signing a deal directly with the zone and being one of the first, you know, fighters of this era. time to be signed directly to a network and be a promoter at the same time and a world champion. I mean, it's all good things. And honestly, it's all because of the lead-ups to all that. How important is it for you to do things like to be the first boxer to sign directly with the zone, to do the things you're doing with take over promotions? It seems like you have your eye set on doing things that no other boxer has accomplished. Oh my goodness. I think that
Starting point is 00:04:45 that's the whole point you want to lead by example. So that's definitely a priority to me, right? It's to lead by example, let them know that the impossible is possible. You just have to work continuously towards it. But it's doable. You see all these other champions and fighters that I grew up watching a lot. And guys like, shoot, Floyd Mayweather doing a direct deal with Showtime and CBS. I mean, if he could do it, not saying we could make the X amount that he's done, maybe we can. We have yet to see.
Starting point is 00:05:13 But I know that it's doable if you have the correct vision on what you're aiming towards. And for me, it's like the next generation, walking out with those young kids. It's not really just for boxing, but for everyone. Just let's focus on the next generation because they're going to be taking care of our children and all those out there eventually too. So, you know, just focused on that muscle, man. Just focus on what else can I bring to the table. Seems like you're in a direct collision course potentially with the guy fighting this weekend. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:40 We've got Ryan Garcia versus Connor Ben. But you two have a common opponent. I was at your fight versus Roli Romero. You got hit hard, but you bounced back. And it made you stronger and then you dominated going to victory. Ryan got her. He kind of shelled up a little bit. You know, let off the gas, didn't have a different reaction than you.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Did you notice that? Do you think you're a different animal compared to Ryan in the ring? Man, when you're walking out with a bunch of kids and they're there in hopes of seeing you when you got a lot to back up, right? And I needed that in that moment, that moment in time, let's just say. Yeah, man, it hits differently. I think that the mental strength of it. You know, you don't close in moments like that. That's when you got to show everyone your best.
Starting point is 00:06:18 you know, and why you're able to come back, you know, and it meant a lot to me earlier today on the FaceTime with Florida. He said, you know, you're a true example of you could lose and come back. And then he said, amongst others, but he said me first, and it's just like, for someone that I watched a lot as a kid, to hear him say that to me, then I know I'm doing a great job, you know, at that. But I think if me and Ryan Garcia, we meet up, we match up, I think that's what's going to be the difference right there. You know, you're going to have to put me to sleep in order for me not to get back up. because if I get back up, that's it, he messed up. I'm going to bring everything to the table,
Starting point is 00:06:50 and I'm going to make sure I come out victorious. As a true champion should, as a world champion does, right? As a heart of a champion. And I think it's because of that upbringing. It's because of the amount of doors being slammed in my face, the amount of times I've earned my shot at becoming something, and I'm saying no, it's just it's not that you're not good. It's just that you're not the person we want in it.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Nah, we're going to make sure that we knock down that door. That's your competitive edge heading to that matchup is here. Everything, yeah. Ryan Garcia, and this is the road to undisputed. You know, I fought the biggest puncher, which was Roley. We seen what he did with Ryan and look what he tried to do with Tiofimo. It didn't work for him. We actually had him on the back foot. You know, we had him on his bike after those rounds.
Starting point is 00:07:31 So, you know, or round. And I think that was the whole difference maker for me. Ryan Garcia had a lot of success against seven hanging with the left hook versus Mario Barrios with the right hand. What about him makes you nervous? I was going to say the drugs that he gets popped with, But, nah, there's nothing that makes me nervous of Ryan. I think the only thing for me, it's more so of what am I going to present? Roli, you talked about, is he the hardest punch you've gone against?
Starting point is 00:07:55 Because Tank said it feels like he has bricks in his hands. Yeah, I agree with Tank. Yeah, there was a punch that Roli punched me with towards like the later rounds. I think closer to the championship rounds. He threw an overhand right. And I pulled back, but he still was able to hit me and hit my chest. I said, dang, that hurt. I was like, but, you know, you got to keep that poker face, you know?
Starting point is 00:08:15 And show him now. Definitely. And as of right now in my career, the biggest puncher that I face for sure by far. He's weird. Like, he's got a weird talking about it before you came in. He's got this weird strength to him where inside and his punching power where it just seems really awkward to fight him. Yeah, some fighters out there, some other boxers make fun of it. And they say that he probably has like special strength, you know.
Starting point is 00:08:39 And I'm putting it down, you know, I'm pretty much. You're co-signing that. Statement. Yeah, that statement. But, like, that's what they would say. But he's awkward, too. That's the thing. It's not just your traditional one, two, three sound fighter.
Starting point is 00:08:52 He throws different shots in different ways that you're not kind of accustomed to. So he is an awkward fighter at the same time. I was ringside literally row one. You turned up a whole other notch after he hurt you. We had, we had Tiofimo, and then after that run, it was the takeover. It was a whole new version of you. Did you feel like that in there as well? Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Absolutely. I needed it. Honestly, I needed it not to get hit, but I needed it. to wake up from that shot. That shot really did change my vision on why I'm doing this. So if anything, he just brought out that takeover out of me. This next segment is presented by Draft Kings. Talk to me about this fight coming up this Saturday, Ryan Garcia and Connor Ben. What's your prediction? Man, my prediction. I was rooting for Connor Ben until he had a statement that he released a couple weeks ago saying that this would be his only one and last time that he fights
Starting point is 00:09:39 at this weight class. Then he'll move up to 160. So I got to go for Ryan Garcia. You know, I think Ryan has attributes to definitely defeat Carter Ben. He has the skill sets. Now, is what kind of Ryan are we getting? That's another thing that people have a question mark on. But I think Connor Ben is definitely going to make it a rugged fight for Connor. How can it affect this fight if Connor Ben is already looking to move up two way classes beyond this fight? One, why did Connor Ben even take the fight?
Starting point is 00:10:06 But it makes sense, right? Look at it now. Look at the promotion. Look at the money. Look at that. All those things come into that big factor to go down two way classes. to do it. I don't think anyone's ever succeeded by doing that. You know, maybe we've seen
Starting point is 00:10:18 people succeed going up, but never down. Roy Jones Jr., when he went down, he had to cut some muscle, was never the same fighter. So we've never seen someone climb weight classes and then go back down to your point. Yeah, it's just a scientific it's just your body. You know? You're dehydrating your brain, right? I think
Starting point is 00:10:34 with Ryan, you know, he's really focused on tapping that temple early on to probably call it early night for Carnar Ben. Is that a real possibility? Yeah, of course. Can be. You can't, you can't. There's a possibility. I think it'll go to the decision, you know, just because in high hopes of Carnabend warning it so bad, at least make it a fight.
Starting point is 00:10:52 But there is a higher chance of Carnabend, you know, not lasting that long in the ring with Ryan Garcia. I agree with you. I think that that weight cut, the dehydration to his brain is just going to be too much to handle with Ryan's physical attributes. Yeah, because you can rehydrate, but your body's not going to bounce back the same way as it would if you rehydrated days or weeks later. I also don't believe that Connor has that technical.
Starting point is 00:11:14 amateur background that you would need to outclass Ryan. Which is ironic, though. Because of his father? Yes. Yeah, they didn't grow up boxing. It's insane to me how, you know, you could watch your father, but the styles don't match. No. And I think he's also doing this for the sake of his father's legacy, right?
Starting point is 00:11:32 His father was a WBC world champion as well, so he's really wanting to do it. But it's one thing you could want something, but your body is the difference in that, right? It's that right there. I will see. It's an exciting fight. I think in order to beat Ryan, you need the tools that you have and you need a certain degree of pedigree and acumen
Starting point is 00:11:53 dating back to the amateurs, right? To have that boxing IQ to go in there and kind of counter his tools, because he is a special fighter in terms of his speed and some of those things. No, no, yeah, speed, power, because speed comes with power, all those things in effects, right?
Starting point is 00:12:07 And he's had over like 200 amateur fights. You can't be basic going in there with him. That's what I'm trying to say. Yeah, yeah. Not at all. Oh, you know, I think tank had, they established a good, great, like a really good game plan. They were staying calm throughout the storm in the beginning. And as they kept on progressing, they started chopping them down to where he just said no mass, really, towards the end.
Starting point is 00:12:27 I think that there's ways to beat Ryan Garcia as we've seen in the past. And, you know, those are the things that we're going to capitalize on. Yeah, no, I mean, Ryan up until a tank fight had never been thrown into deep waters like that. When I spoke about your upbringing and all the hoops and trials tribulations you had to go through, but Ryan, it seemed like before he had captured a world title, was already hanging out with streamers and influencers and kind of getting that attention. Do you think your background and upbringing and your tough test is going to pay dividends, go into that matchup with Ryan who had a different upbringing?
Starting point is 00:12:59 We'll just have to wait and see. You know, I think that to make it more spontaneous, to make it more intriguing is just we have to wait and see. I mean, it's fireworks. It's one of the best matches of the sport. We're talking about your guys' ages, 28 and 29. You don't get better than that, right? No, we're entering our prime, so to speak. You know, in the sport of boxing, we're entering our prime.
Starting point is 00:13:18 We're at the point where we feel our best, you know, there's no... At your natural weights, yeah. He's a world champion. I'm a world champion. We unify. I think this fight should be probably hosted in Los Angeles, or obviously the original way is going to Vegas and having it here... Cinco to a mile weekend?
Starting point is 00:13:37 You know what I'm saying? So, but I think Los Angeles, change it up. You know, since we're not getting the Mayweathers and Canellos of this world, you know, we're changing it now to Benavides earlier this year with Cinco de Mayo weekend. And now, you know, Ryan Garcia with Mexico Independence Day. So. Terrence Crawford retired. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:56 You see like an hour ago, he said, if I were unretired, do you want to see me fight boots? Yeah, but he's like, if you read it, read between the lines. He said, I want to see something. Mm. And then he expressed it. Mind you, one of Terence Crawford's favorite hobbies is fishing. And if you're not quick on that, and it's crazy because a lot of favorite fighters, people say, oh, this is my favorite fighter, but do you know their hobbies? Do you know what they like?
Starting point is 00:14:20 Crawford likes to go fishing, especially with his kids. It's a family man. But that's a bait. And boot tennis right away responded 1,000% and fell into the bait. He took the meat, paused, but then he got hooked on it. So Crawford's not coming back. No. And Boots isn't the guy to do it.
Starting point is 00:14:38 What I think Crawford is trying to show right there in that moment is like confirmation that he boots basically ducked Virgil Ortiz to fight. That's so Crawford's like... Crawford's just playing right now. Yeah, he's playing chess. He's playing chess. He likes chess too. So he's moving pawns.
Starting point is 00:14:53 He's moving the knights and all those things with that also intertwining with Garcia and Ben Fight Week. He wants some of that attention. Exactly. Exactly. That's what all this ever is. You know, you gain more with honey than you do with vinegar, right? So, or bees, right?
Starting point is 00:15:10 So I think that's what's happening here right now. But it kind of takes away the sport a little bit because it's such a tease. People want to see boots in Terrence Crawford fight. No, you're right. There's been too much of that in boxing. Too much of the teasing and matchups is not enough of, right, really getting in there across the entire sport. I mean, we haven't seen the best fight the best so often as we should. Literally, I think the problem today is that we're seeing so much of that,
Starting point is 00:15:32 that the fans end up not feeding into it no more. If we're changing the game, this is how you do it, you feed it, and then you actually let them eat it. You let them enjoy seeing two guys fight each other that they want to watch. Rather than just keep on teasing here, keep on teasing there. Eventually, the consumers are going to just back out and go to some other sport. Maybe they lean towards MMA. Maybe they lean towards way out of the field and go to soccer, go to football.
Starting point is 00:16:01 but then all it does is depreciate the sport's value. Not the sport itself, because boxing is great, but it depreciates the value of the sport. Are those things that inspire you to really go forward with takeover promotions and put that at the forefront of the sport? Absolutely. Absolutely. This is why, like I say, make boxing great again in those terms and stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:20 It's not for say for our president, but for the sport itself. That's why I express it the way I do. And that's why all these things are starting to reveal itself. And it's showing in time. There's other fighters that want to do the same for, like let's say floor plans in the blueprints that Tiofimo's doing right now. And it's because it's going to work. We spoke about Floyd Miller. There's another legendary fighter known in this city, Mike Tyson.
Starting point is 00:16:42 He's doing the Mike Tyson Invitational, trying to bring amateur boxing back. Is he someone that you would want to align with, partner with, work with to make boxing great again? Absolutely. Absolutely. Mike Tyson actually does own, I think that they're in works right now and talks to start up again with Mike Tyson invitation. I did it the first time, not this time, the second time, but not. Now they're doing their talks, in talks right now, the zone broadcasting for Mike Tyson invitation number three, which is going to be in Connecticut sometime in the end of October.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I'm in talks with that right now. Let me know what goes. We'll hit it together, champ. Oh, yeah, man. I think you'll be great for it, too. You know, you get to speak to all the next upcoming champions and all those great things. And especially, like, you're very, like, not fundamentally, but you're very sound in boxing. So that's a great thing.
Starting point is 00:17:27 And I think that's what we need more of. Appreciate that. And we've known each other since we were little kids. I remember I was five years old getting to know you, and I knew I was going to work in sports media one day. When did you know that you were going to become a world champion? I didn't know until I became world champion. That was 22.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Shoot, you could only vision it. You could dream it. You could sleep, dream, eat, you know, all kinds of things of becoming it until you finally have it. And that's when it hits you. You're like, man, everything I actually wanted to do and become. But the day that you receive it, it hits so far different than when you were dreaming about it. So we're always hopeful.
Starting point is 00:18:03 That part where it is true, we're always hopeful on becoming something. But then to actually make it happen, that comes with faith. It comes with a lot of faith and that comes with a lot of grit inside with you. Some have it, some dough. Some just stick to the hope and love, but they forget, you know, the third one is the faith. And that's what you've got to have in this game. And I think just in life in general. Is that the advice you would give to any young kid coming up today with big dreams?
Starting point is 00:18:26 Oh, heck yeah. Yeah, work hard. Sacrifice the club nights and the party nights and the friend. you know, sacrifice all that, put that to the side and focus on your craft and focus on what you're doing. The friends that I had growing up in junior high and in high school and all those great things probably are still doing the same thing that they were doing when we were at that age, you know, and what am I doing, right? Creating something more, creating a legacy, creating a foundation, generational wealth is what I'm eyeing for and aiming towards for the safety of my kids, you know?
Starting point is 00:18:55 How do you balance family, business, being a world champion? What's a day in your life like when, let's say you're in training camp yeah communication just speaking with my partner my partner is she's she's great you know we've had our ups and downs i've expressed things that are just out of emotion but never really true you know so i think that those things you know i give i give a lot of um thanks and grace to my wife for making it easier right she understands what i'm trying to do for the sake of our family and also what i'm doing for the sake of business you need uh you need to have someone that's on the same same plan as you same vision you know and and i have that with her and I think it's just from the communication.
Starting point is 00:19:32 I miss that throughout our years. But we're eight years in, and I think I'm doing much better at that. And so is she? So I think that's the way that I'm able to balance it all out. Like after this, we got maternity pictures because I got a baby on the way. Congratulations. Thank you. So, you know, get this out the way, do the great things that we need to, keep this,
Starting point is 00:19:51 and this is a great opportunity as always, and I'm very thankful for it. Let's take a peep behind the curtain as far as training goes. Yeah. While you're in camp, how much are you running, how many rounds are you sparring? just so the people can understand the kind of dedication it takes to be a world champion. Drop off my son from school when I'm not in camp. Dropped them off, went right to the gym. I checked my weight after I'm at the gym with all this on, and it's 158.
Starting point is 00:20:13 So I'm probably like 155, 154 right now. Constant drinking water. Stay in the shape, doing my miles of run, whether it's three to five miles every other day. And just focusing on not just looking strong but feeling strong at the same time. So it's also the intake of food that I'm doing and considering. So a lot of fish, black cod, salmon, and then switching it over to some meats here and there. Greens, a lot of greens. And I'm not talking about the ones you smoke, but the ones that you actually need to eat, you know.
Starting point is 00:20:44 So you start finding this pattern and this rhythm and you just start going with the flow. And next thing you know, it's, it becomes second nature that you just, you know, you live it. You actually live it. We have a massive football fan base. People watch us. They wonder about the NFL. I know you like football too. You know, I got to tap in.
Starting point is 00:20:59 I know that we're in like the preseason. I think now a season is starting. Regular season week one, baby. This next segment is presented by Draft Kings. Zach, no one's picked more wins than you for these past seven years. NFL week one, Giants Cowboys. I'm a Giants fan. Give me some good news.
Starting point is 00:21:14 I don't know about that, but let me break this matchup down for you. You got the Cowboys versus the Giants, Sunday night, prime time. One side, the New York Giants. They hire Super Bowl winning head coach. I mean, how fortunate is the Mara family and all the Giants fans across the globe to have John Harbuff onto their lap? How often in a coaching cycle is a Super Bowl winner with the kind of record that he has fall into your lap?
Starting point is 00:21:34 I'll answer that for you. Never. The Giants get very lucky there. That's a great start. Then, in addition to that, their upstart quarterback Jackson Dart. It was electric last year. He's coming back healthy. Hopefully his head is fully healed.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Camp Scadabo had the nasty leg injury. He's thought to be fully healed. Malik neighbors towards ACL. He's thought to be fully healed coming back week one. And then what do they do? They go out and sign the biggest star to grace a giant's uniform in recent years? You got to give it to him. most followed guy in the NFL, Odo Beckham Jr. returns to New York Giants. That's also a massive
Starting point is 00:22:03 story. How much he really plays? I would say maybe three snaps. But he's there and he's a good locker room guy. So the Giants obviously have a lot of moving pieces here, but on the other side, the Dallas Cowboys, they're America's team. They're always going to be the most viewed team, the most talked about team, the most polarizing team. And they haven't won a Super Bowl in 30-plus year. I mean, it's been since the 1990s, right? So they obviously have a lot to prove. They certainly have a lot of talent. Last year, we saw the offense. We know what Dak Prescott can do. He's a veteran quarterback. He's gotten it done. consistently for the past decade.
Starting point is 00:22:32 He gets drafted 2016. It's had a lot of success. George Pickens had a breakout year last season. We joined the Cowboys. He's with C.D. Lamb, Ryan Flournoy. Cowboys have the best receiving core in the NFL. We've got Chavonte Williams in the backfield. So we know what the offense can do.
Starting point is 00:22:44 But on the defensive side of the ball, they were awful last year. I mean, they were the bad news bears. They were putrid. They were Division 2. You can't throw enough adjectives out there to describe how abysmal the Dallas Cowboys defense was last season. What do they do? They tear it all apart.
Starting point is 00:22:57 They fire Matt Iber Fluce. They hire Christian Parker. a young upstart mind, kind of taking a playbook out of everyone else in the NFL, hire a young guy, and then they draft Caleb Downs in the first round. That's massive. I mean, Caleb Downs was thought to be perhaps the best player in the draft, got Ed Reed Combs throughout the entire process, the Dallas Cowboys steal them. They move up one pick, they get him.
Starting point is 00:23:18 The New York Giants pass on him. So this entire game, you're going to hear the announcers. They're going to circle a big red dot on Caleb Down and say, watch this guy. The whole entire world is going to have their eyes on him. He's a Swiss Army night. So I would say those are the biggest storylines heading to this matchup, but I have bad news for you and all the other Giants fans across the world. That's that, Drac Prescott got 14 and own in his last 14 matchups
Starting point is 00:23:36 against the New York Giants. And I don't see that changing this time around. I've got the Dallas Cowboys continuing that streak. That Prescott moved into 15 and O'No in his last 15 New York Giants matchups. I got the Dallas Cowboys of New York Giants. I'm sorry, Rao. Come on, bro. Right now, right?
Starting point is 00:23:50 Sunday, huh? Yeah. I know the Raiders did terrible in their preseason. What do you think about their quarterback, though? The Las Vegas Bears are looking. rough. Well, they got Fernando Mendoza, but he's not starting. They got Kirk Cousin's starting. Oh, boy. So, and then
Starting point is 00:24:03 their star player, the best player, Brock Bowers, he just got to announce he's going to be out. Wow. The Raiders are looking rough. But they played the Dolphins, were our hometown team, but they're awful. So probably the two worst teams in the NFL matching up, Vegas versus Miami. You're two of your squads.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Yeah, seriously, man. And they're both in a bad situation. They're doing you dirty. Yeah, they're doing us dirty. Yeah. They're doing us dirty. Yeah. Well, I'm a Cowboys fan. You're a Cowboys? Yeah. For how long? My whole life. My dad, everyone, yeah. Well, how do Cowboys looking right now? We got a great offense? We got an established quarterback. We got the best receiving core, but the defense, just like in boxing, the defense's real important. It is. It's so true. You know, I noticed that one thing is that the Cowboys could get there.
Starting point is 00:24:46 They could get to the playoffs, but it's right there. She can't finish it. I can say the same thing, like Buffalo Bill, same thing. Like, there's a couple of teams out there, you know. Like Lamar Jackson from Baltimore Ravens. phen on but like dang man so much talent so much i love lamar i question if he can get it done all the way in the big games he struggles like passing the ball yeah i mean shoot you got tens and tens a thousand like what 50 000 70 000 fans in attendance watching you and then all around worldwide i mean heck yeah i i heard that marcia marcia lynx used to take a shot of hand and before every game maybe it's for the nerves or something but that's just different you ever heard of a fighter doing that
Starting point is 00:25:27 No. Heck no. Any surprise interest for you in sports that we would know about? What is a charity event happening October 4th in LA in Los Angeles for softball? So I think I'm going to attend that. It's in pursuit of something good. I think for the Sani-I, Cedar Sita-San-I or Scyonai. Yeah. So for those children that are like in, you know, going through rough times right now. So yeah, it's for a good cause. Are you going to play or attend? Yeah, I'm a play. Are you going to play? All right. Yeah. You played before?
Starting point is 00:25:57 I played softball before with here in Vegas where actually like top rank they invited me I was like all right cool I'll try that so I actually enjoyed it so I look forward to it Anything else on your mind in Vegas I mean we got a big fight coming up but Vegas no I'm just gonna kick whoever's at wins right now on Saturday night
Starting point is 00:26:14 I'm just gonna kick their buck yeah so I'm excited for it Are you gonna get in the ring and face off? Possibly possibly and I think another thing is that since I am the Zones correspondent for this week it's a you know you won't know I'm there but I'm
Starting point is 00:26:29 gonna be there I'm gonna ask those guys some questions but I'll be in some sort of disguise alright you're gonna be trolling I'm gonna be trolling asking fans questions you know really knowing how they feel about Tio Fema and stuff like that I love it I love it
Starting point is 00:26:42 just gotta have fun with it we gotta have fun oh yeah if you're not having fun then what you're doing it for and why this Tiofima Lopez three division world champion super WBA well to weight world champion looking forward to facing
Starting point is 00:26:55 the next guy could possibly potentially be Ryan Garcia. The takeover's coming, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you, Tafemo. We appreciate you, and we appreciate the fans which went into double coverage season two, presented by Draft Kings. Let's go.
