Starting point is 00:00:00 Doug hates candy rappers screaming baby sticky seeds with 50 as a pop or kernels in his team. They're still not one that he won't see because Doug. Hey, hey, hey, everybody. My name is Doug and I love movies. Yeah, 90% of you got that right. Even after we rehearsed it. We are back at the loft and the loft. City Winery in New York City.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Very excited to be here. I should probably take my shades off so I can read this shit. It's Monday, September 7th, 2026. Did everyone have a great Labor Day? Yeah. Well, it's about to get even better because I've got three super fun guests tonight plus one more. No, four guests will be out here to play movie trivia games on behalf of members of the audience.
Starting point is 00:01:21 But let's find out what we're playing for tonight. I brought, as I have been doing for a while, until I run out of them, a very exclusive Douglas movies tote bag. Yeah. And that's probably the best part of this price package. But in the tote bag is a ramrod bumper sticker from Super Troopers 3. A tray where you can make ice cubes in the shape of marijuana leaves. Little marijuana ice cubes. Super fun.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Probably a little late. It would have been good for a Labor Day party. but, you know, there's always next summer. A hat that doesn't fit me that's from the Netflix is a joke comedy festival in Los Angeles. A shirt that doesn't fit me that is from...
Starting point is 00:02:24 I've had this for a minute. Asteroid City, the Wes Anderson movie from even... Oh, it says 1955 on here. I thought it was going to say... the actual release date. That movie's not that old.
Starting point is 00:02:41 And then we've got Doug Love's movie's sticker and a couple of pins, a couple of Doug Benson pins that will also be available for sale after the show tonight if you want to spend an exorbitant amount on a tiny pin. And I don't know if this is the best item,
Starting point is 00:03:01 but it's the last one. This is, I ended up with some lingerie that is too big for my girlfriend and too small for me. So that's going in the prize bag. Somebody's going to win all of that tonight and probably maybe even dump it off in the garbage on their way home. But I hope you at least keep the tote bag.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Are you ready to meet our guests for this evening? It's a hot lineup. I'm always excited about the people that I can get to participate when I come here to New York. and we got a couple of newbies to the show and a couple of old bees, as I like to say. Please give it up, everybody, for Jeff R. Curie, Caitlin Palufo, Norman Baker, and Saul Velcano.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Have a seat. All right. All right. Oh, you did a great job. Nobody, like, rearranged their chair because I set them up very specifically so I could see everybody. And now let's meet all of my. my guests, individually, but also alphabetically, by first name.
Starting point is 00:04:29 She was the winner of Kevin Hart's funny as fuck. It's Caitlin Palutco. Yes. The winner! No, stop it. I came in third. I meant I meant to say you were a winner for participating and doing so well. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 00:04:50 We're all winners. She won the Hearts of America. Yeah, sure did. She really did. That's even, I think I even have that written down here. Yeah, she won the hearts of America. It says it right here. So it's absolutely true.
Starting point is 00:05:06 And thank you for coming back to this show. We were talking backstage and you were saying that like your movie trivia is not really your thing. No, no. The last time I did this, I got last place. I think it was eliminated. I don't think I even make that distinction who came in last place. I think there's just a winner
Starting point is 00:05:27 and then those losers. It was emotionally clear who was in last place. But I'm thrilled to be back because I had a blast. Oh, good. That's the important thing is that you had fun losing.
Starting point is 00:05:40 You had a good time being a loser. Apparently it's a theme I have. It's very nice. I just keep losing. Well, thank you for being here. Let's move on the gentleman sitting next to you. It's his first appearance on the show.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Give it up, everybody, for Jeff R. Curie. What's up, guys? Hello. Thank you for being here, dude. Thanks for having me, man. Yeah. What was I going to say about you? Oh, you have a trillion followers on social media?
Starting point is 00:06:14 How many? Trillion? 1.2 trillion, actually. Oh, okay. See, I don't always get it right, so I'm glad that you're here to point out when I'm delivering fake news. He is the man who told Wendy Williams that it's Dula Lipa, not Dula Peep.
Starting point is 00:06:37 It's Norman Baker, everybody. That is my claim to fame. I'll be honest, I thought he was still talking about me for a second. I thought to do. I did what? I think you too? It's not Dula peep? Nope.
Starting point is 00:06:54 No, but it should be. That's how I, that's what I say. Anytime she comes up, I say Dula peep. And it's just way more fun to say. That's your name now. Isn't that the skunk? Isn't that that sexual... Pepe le pew?
Starting point is 00:07:09 Pepe lepe. Pepe lepe. Pepe lepe. There's a funny Pepelepe Lepeu joke in Coyote versus Acme. About... his tendency to not check for consent. And it was also a cat. It was interspecies, non-consensual touching.
Starting point is 00:07:37 And that's the problem I have with that. Keep it in your species. Yeah, right? If it had been another skunk, you'd be like, yeah, fuck that skunk. But it was always a cat that would have paint fall on it. And they look like a skunk. So, like, he thought it was a skunk. Give him a break.
Starting point is 00:07:56 And you know how skunks are. Don't fuck anything. Crazy skunks. And speaking of crazy skunks, that sucks. Segway doesn't make any sense. It's his first time here. Give it up for Sal Volcano, everybody.
Starting point is 00:08:17 How's it going, man? Great. I'm excited. Probably lose, but I'm excited. You know, go ahead and set expectations low and then jump over that bar that you just put on the floor and take this whole thing. I'm excited to have you here, and I have a question for you.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Like, in your day-to-day life, does anybody, like, off-camera prank you? Have you ever... Do people who are like, I'll prank that guy? Yeah. But there's no cameras involved. It's just like a normal prank. Yeah, I think people sometimes see me and they either think one or two things they're on the show at any given moment because if they see me they could be on it But really the show is 22 minutes a week and the rest is just my life
Starting point is 00:09:05 So like if I'm out people always just like what are you gonna do to me? What are you gonna do to me? And I'm like I'm buying Robitussin but but none of your friends are like do you and the other guys in the show ever do a prank that's not on the program like just a off-camera prank? No people are just like oh you must be doing pranks since you're a little bit kid. I'm like, it was an idea we had for a show. But like, people will try to get me, like, I had a, the most reason thing I could think of is a waiter at a restaurant. I was at, like, walked over and pretended trip and
Starting point is 00:09:36 throw a coffee at me. But he tied it to a string. Like, he must have done it before. Then he yanked it back and caught the coffee cup, which was empty. And I was like, that's fucking wild. I feel like I've seen those videos, but they're always, like, in Istanbul. You know what I mean? Like, every time
Starting point is 00:09:52 it's always... I was in Establed. But man, it sounds like that guy really got your ass. You thought you were going to have hot coffee. You thought your clothes are going to be ruined. Turns out it was on a string. That was a practical joker right there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Oh, my God. I thought I was going to get, like, scolded, like my face was going to change. He threw it out. You thought you were going to be permanently injured. Yeah. And he's going, tee-hee. But he comped the bill, which was very nice. Oh, that is very nice.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Because also I just think those situations, like the string breaks. And then he has to be like, oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit you with all that hot coffee. But I guess it was an empty cup. Yeah, he comped, but it was after I asked for the manager. So I'm advocating. Karen Volcano, everybody. Well, thank you to all four of you for being here.
Starting point is 00:10:50 We're going to play some games tonight, but before we get into that, I like to just chat about movies and get some opinions out here about stuff that people should see. So what I'd like each one of you to do is recommend one movie. I'll count down three, two, one, just yell it out, and then we'll move on. No, I will talk to each of you individually, starting with Caitlin. Recommend one movie. It can be old, new bar. Blue, whatever, like, you know, but hopefully something people can access. We don't want anything so obscure that people like don't know how to find it.
Starting point is 00:11:30 We want to, you know, basically send people out to watch something. How much of a movie buff I am, I just saw Apocalypse Now. Oh, you just saw it now. See, that's the mistake. A lot of people think, a lot of people think I couldn't have watched it later. It's not called Apocalypse, used to be, or later. It's apocalypse now, so now is the time. And front to end in one sitting, you watched the whole bloody mess?
Starting point is 00:11:58 The whole bloody mess. It was upsetting, and I don't think we should have gone to Vietnam. Oh, okay. I'm glad that the message of that movie came through loud and clear because I know Coppola really went through a lot to get that message to the screen that war is hell, and so is sitting through that movie. Yeah, it's a wild ride.
Starting point is 00:12:24 What compelled you to watch it finally? I was listening to a podcast about the Vietnam War. All the best podcasts are about the Vietnam War. Like, I'm out there trying to just do a fun, cute podcast about movies, and all these Vietnam War podcasts are just fucking killing it. Like, they're really getting all the ear holes. But, you know, thank you for... that recommendation.
Starting point is 00:12:52 No, I try and catch up on all the old movies that I never want. But you tell people, you've told people I saw Apocalypse Now and I liked it, or you're just saying you just watched it? I just watched it. I think it's... So it's not really a recommendation? It's honestly the only movie I've seen in the last two months, so... Well, that's, you know, that's as good of any reason to recommend something,
Starting point is 00:13:15 is that it's the one that you saw. It was really beautifully shot. Did you ever... Now do you think you would take on Hearts of Darkness, the documentary about the making of Apocalypse now? Or does your interest end at the end of the movie? My interest is over.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Okay. Well, in that case, I'll act it out for you. In the documentary about Apocalypse Now, they include an outtake where, you know, Marlon Brando is being all method actory and he's like in the shadows and he's being all weird. And like you see like a bug crawl into his mouth while he's talking. And then he goes, I swallowed a bug. So that's the only reason to watch that documentary, in my opinion, is to get to watch
Starting point is 00:14:08 Marlon Brando swallow a bug. All right, Jeff, what did you see in the last two months that you're not passionate about but want to talk about because you have nothing else. I will say I just rewatched because the first time it hit me. But here's the thing. I'm going to give you two answers. The first answer is if you haven't seen the movie Barbarian.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Amazing movie. That comes up a lot in the recommend a movie. Really? I would just say it's one of those movies where I went in and I was told not to look at a preview. Don't look at a preview. Just watch it. It was amazing.
Starting point is 00:14:41 So I feel like that's not a fun answer because there's nothing to talk about. So I just saw The Odyssey. and IMAX. I kind of told you a little bit about it before, but I saw it. And you'd recommend it? Wholeheartedly. It was one of the few times I was in a movie,
Starting point is 00:14:55 except for like one battle after another, where I was like, I didn't care. I was hoping more time was left. You ever remember one of those movies where like two hours into the movie? You're like, fuck, I know it's been going on a while, but I don't want this to be the third act yet, you know? And that's what I felt like with the Odyssey where I was.
Starting point is 00:15:09 I will say this, though, the Odyssey, too many current celebrities for me. Like, it was too many times where I was like, okay, Spider-Man. Every now and then, and then Robert Patton was like a smarmy little prick, the whole movie. And I was like, Twilight's a prick, dude. I didn't like that. Have you seen the Aussie? Some of you guys have?
Starting point is 00:15:31 There's one point in the movie where Robert Patton goes, somebody get these beggars out of here. And I literally pulled myself out of the movie. I went to my wife. I was like, what the fuck was that, dude? It was so out of play. The whole movie was amazing. and then it was this campy acting that was like ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Starting point is 00:15:46 Is that like your thing to like recommend a movie and then proceed to attack it and say everything about it that was stupid? Actually I'm gonna put it back on you really fast I'm gonna put this back on you give me a movie that you loved every part of but there's one scene that you're like what the fuck was that dude?
Starting point is 00:16:04 Oh I mean there's like there's so many good ones like the dark night with the two boats you know like that movie is solid all the way through and then suddenly the Joker's like, I'm going to put a bomb on one of these boats. And then you just sit there in the audience going, okay, which boat?
Starting point is 00:16:28 And Dark Night Rises, as much as I love that movie, that's like full of things. And initially when the first trailer for Dark Night Rises came out, Bain sounded like this. He was like, oh, I'm going to... And like, that's not...
Starting point is 00:16:42 And like everyone was like, what the fuck? So they cleaned it up a little bit before they put the movie out. Otherwise. It was still funny to have a villain who you can't tell what the fuck he's saying. Like Christopher Nolan is so balzy. It's hilarious. But yeah, there's definitely examples of that. And that's part of the fun of the Odyssey is I feel like that movie is a series of scenes
Starting point is 00:17:06 that if you choose to make fun of them, you absolutely can. Because Matt Damon is Odysseus. is constantly being told, if you do this, these men will die. And then he goes, all right, let's do it. Like, repeatedly, but he's also, his character is also like, I got to get these guys home. That's all he cares about is getting these guys home. But then he's also like, well, that's an acceptable. We can lose half of them.
Starting point is 00:17:30 You know, like he just does that throughout the entire thing. And his second in command, the guy that he talks to all the time, I've probably said this on the podcast already. But his second in command always is like, hey, how about we do this? And Matt Damon is always like, no, let's do that. Like, he always fucks over that guy throughout the entire movie. And it's kind of hilarious when you look at it that way. Also, it's hilarious that the cyclops that, you know, just picks up men and just eats them, just choose them up.
Starting point is 00:18:02 Is also the guy from the, don't worry, be happy video. What? I want to take footage of the cyclops eating people and they play that. song under it. The Cyclops is Bobby McFerrin? No, it's the guy, you know how Bobby McFerrin is dancing around with two guys in the video is Robin Williams and
Starting point is 00:18:22 Bill Irwin who plays the Cyclops. Really? In The Odyssey, yes. We're already getting really deep in the trivia here. Here, Sal. Let's go to Norman. What's your recommendation? Okay, so
Starting point is 00:18:38 I'm going blank. But there is a movie that I watch starring Sally Field, who is like... The octopus thing? The octopus thing is so great. And like, okay, hear me out. Hear me out.
Starting point is 00:18:51 What's the called? What's the called? Remarkably bright creatures. It's in a book. It's a platonic love story between Sally Field and an octopus. I would hope it... I don't think it could get past platonic, but okay.
Starting point is 00:19:05 He's in love with her. Was the working title eight arms to hold you? This movie, I don't know. if anybody's seen it, it's Netflix. Have you seen it? Yeah, people have seen it. I hear it's great. Like, surprisingly moving, and by the end,
Starting point is 00:19:21 I was, like, in tears and over an octopus. And Sally Field. Yeah. I hear it's incredible, and I do plan to watch it. But that's the problem with movies that just show up on Netflix. I'm, like, trying to go out to theaters and support, you know, movie theaters
Starting point is 00:19:36 and see those films. So when somebody shows up on Netflix, I'm like, well, I've got either forever or till when Netflix suddenly pulls it for no reason. That's what I have to deal with. It's like a ticking clock on this fucking octopus movie. Like, is Netflix going to keep it forever? Are they going to dump it?
Starting point is 00:19:56 And then when they do dump it, is it just going to show up on Prime or somewhere else? So you got to keep... I guess they're going to push for awards. Yeah, I think it actually won the Emmy last night. I did? Best TV movie, yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:20:10 And Sally Fields nominated. But that's so funny. a TV movie because I don't think when they were making it they're like this is for TV. Right. You're like this is for Netflix. Right. It's not TV. It's Netflix. No, it's a silly game. Because like on this show, like I like to
Starting point is 00:20:25 do just theatrical movies but now so many movies go straight to streaming that are real movies they just chose that model in which to put them out there that I don't agree with. Okay, I'm sorry. Speaking of things I don't agree with, Sal,
Starting point is 00:20:40 what would you like to recommend? as you guys were all talking I changed my answer like four times but I arrived at something I saw semi recently that I thought was really unique and fun have you guys seen this the substance yeah what a fun flick
Starting point is 00:20:56 it's fun I don't know it's kind of like I was like I remember seeing that and being like this is fucking crazy yeah I enjoyed it so it's really different it's out there if you haven't seen it I would go in not really knowing anything about it as well there's probably like there's a lot less Octopuses in that movie.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Then I'm out. Than in Norman's movie. I'm a more serious there's a more serious suggestion I was going to say which I haven't seen since I saw it in the theater but I remember being really good. Boyhood? Have you guys seen Boyhood? Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:30 That was the Linklater, Richard Linklater movie that they filmed it over a seven year period so like the boy in the movie genuinely grows seven years. Yeah. And now Linklater's making an adaptation of Sondheim's Marily We Roll Along
Starting point is 00:21:46 where they are going to film over a 20 year period and all the characters are just going to naturally age. Yeah, no, that's a choice. There's like probably at least four people that if something happens to them, the movie
Starting point is 00:22:02 is fucked. Right. You know? Like a soap opera where you say the role of whatever is now being played by. Yeah. Oh my God, it just changes. Like when Heath Ledger died, way they had like two different actors play his part in the Brothers Grimm and it didn't make any fucking sense that he
Starting point is 00:22:18 just changed into a different person. That was weird. Yeah. I hope I had the right movie there. I think I did. But the substance was like you know, the thing about the substance is that everyone was kind of surprised when it got so many Academy Award nominations because the Academy
Starting point is 00:22:34 stays away from horror and things that are super duper gross. But now I feel like it's really feeling like that movie and Demi Moore's nomination paved the way for Indy Navarrette in obsession to, like, people are really talking.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Even Amy Madigan. Might get a, in Amy Madigan last year help too. But that's the thing about horrories. Some of the best performances are in horror movies because people have to really fucking act up a storm, whether they're the villain or they're the person
Starting point is 00:23:06 running away screaming. But also villains just, you know, they win our hearts so often. Often. Lepircon too comes to mind. But they put Indy Navarette, they put her character. I don't know the name of her character. But she is Universal Horror Nights in Florida and in Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:23:26 They have someone playing her. Like she's got her face covered in blood and she just walks up to the tourists, you know, the people at the horror night. And she, you know, just walks up to him and goes, why don't you love me? You know, like she pretends to be obsessed with them. But some people are like, well, she's a very. victim, so she should not be a character that's supposed
Starting point is 00:23:46 to be scary at Hollywood Horror Nights, because she's just under a spell, and she's really the victim of that movie, more than the guy she's stalking. But also, shut the fuck up. Like, let's have some fun on horror nights.
Starting point is 00:24:02 She's a character with blood on her face that's too in love with you. Why can't you just deal with it? Well, those are all some terrific recommendations. I'm going to seeing none of those, but that's because I've seen them all already, I think.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Oh, no, I'm going to see the octopus movie. Please, please. I'm going to watch it eight fucking times. And I'm going to get super into it. I'm going to become a remarkably bright creatures stand, and I'm going to talk about it endlessly. But for now,
Starting point is 00:24:34 we're going to take a commercial break, and we're going to play some games when we come back. We'll be right back. Back to the show. At the loft at City Winery, we have not changed locations. And we picked out people in the audience to play on behalf of. So Caitlin is playing for water for Elie. elephants and Jeff is playing for Brandzilla Minus Dunn
Starting point is 00:28:40 I mean you got to see that if you were here you saw the name tag you'd be like oh that's impressive and then we got a big name tag that says Jim Cotta that Anita and Jim brought and then Norman's playing for them and then
Starting point is 00:28:59 Sal is played for a gentleman named Maver Eric. It's very clever. Top gun Mavre Eric. All right, and the first game we're going to play tonight is something I call
Starting point is 00:29:19 it's the audience favorite live, die, repeat. Here's how this silly game works. I'm going to slowly say the title of an actual motion picture. The first one of you on stage who can repeat back to me the full title correctly and accurately wins this game. Like I said, I'm going to say it slowly, so anytime somebody has a guess that is wrong,
Starting point is 00:29:53 I will go back to the beginning of the title. Do you want to do like a practice one real quick just to get the vibe of it? All right. The first person... Nobody answered. Let's see. Sal made it nodded a little bit. Like, I would like to try one first.
Starting point is 00:30:14 So this is just an example. The person that wins this one is not the winner, but the first person to repeat the title back in its entirety wins the sample round. And here we go. Tootsie. Tutsi. Sal wins that round.
Starting point is 00:30:37 I'd see one more word. Got it. Everyone was waiting for more words. Like, oh, I thought the title was just Tootsie, but maybe there is more. I picked that one, because just the other day I was thinking, why is that movie called Tootsy? Like, it doesn't even, like, nobody calls anybody that in the movie. Like, maybe somebody calls somebody Toots. But nobody's Tootsy.
Starting point is 00:30:59 There's no, like, I guess. Is that right? Yeah, isn't that weird? That is fucking weird. They just picked a silly word. Like, hey, Tootsie. Because his name's Dorothy. like a movie called Dorothy.
Starting point is 00:31:10 But nobody calls him Tutsy in it? I don't think so. I think I think Dabney Coleman says Tuts because he's sexist. Like, you know, like get out of here, Toots. But they just like, well, let's call it Tutsy. I might have to use Tuts in the Wild.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Perspectively, though. Thank you. I'll say Tuts. Tuts. Sometimes I tuit. Yeah, that's a weird one. You know, like Jaws, makes more sense.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Because that's the name of the shark. Mm-hmm. Oh, no. It's Jaws. Why would they call Dorothy Jaws? Everybody through the whole movie, we gotta stop Jaws. Jaws. We're gonna stop. Jaws. We're beating people at the beach. Oh, no, and he's playing a cello.
Starting point is 00:31:59 That's definitely A.I. All right. I couldn't think of the instrument. Fastening it. I don't even know if it's a cello. I don't think so. I think it's a bass. Well, Dabney Coleman calls him Jaws once, I think.
Starting point is 00:32:16 In a sexist way. Move it, Jaws. Out of the way, Jaws. All right, here we go. Here's the real one. Could never have sex with any... Man who
Starting point is 00:32:51 The lack of guesses is astounding. I've never heard of it. Usually at this point, everybody's yelling out. They're at least repeating back what I've said so far. I never have sex with a man. And then maybe adding some words to it. I'll go back to the beginning. Never is not in that.
Starting point is 00:33:14 I could never have sex with. any man who has so little regard. This is the first time in the history of this game that I got through the entire title without anybody trying to make a guess. I want to make sure I heard the rules right. This is a movie title? Yeah, and you just have to repeat it back. Anybody. Anybody on stage just repeat it back and you could be the winner.
Starting point is 00:33:48 I would never have sex with... I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for me. Puppies. For women. For life. For dogs. For your mom.
Starting point is 00:34:04 See, I like this fighting spirit. I could never have sex with any man. With any man. Who has so little regard. Who has so little regard. For... For himself. I could never have sex with any man
Starting point is 00:34:22 who has so little regard for my body I could never have sex I would stop guessing right now with any man who has so little regard for my I could never you gotta say the whole feelings feelings I could never have sex with any man who I stole the regard for my time. My time.
Starting point is 00:34:52 I could never have sex with any man. I'm going to repeat this when I go to sleep tonight. Who has no sex with me. So little regard for my body. I'm not. You can't just guess the last word. You have to say the whole thing. I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my time.
Starting point is 00:35:18 I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my... I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my feelings. I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my... I could never have sex with any man or has so little regard for my well-being.
Starting point is 00:35:43 I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard. I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my money. I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my desires. I could never have sex with a man who has so little regard for my time. I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my children. I could never have sex with any man who would have so little regard. I could never have sex with any, the whole thing and then my...
Starting point is 00:36:17 My pussy. I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my cooking. I can never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my body. I could never have sex with any man. Someone blink it at us. If you know it, I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my mother. Which, I couldn't.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Is that right? Yes. I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my husband. What? Is that real? I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard for my husband. Kaelin wins. You got it, water boy.
Starting point is 00:37:09 I got you. Like, what? I love that an audience member had to say, Just say it. He said the whole thing. Just say it back. You got this. One adult and one child, please,
Starting point is 00:37:25 for I could never have sex with any man who has so little regard. I could never have sex with any comedian who has so little regard for my time. And my husband. But yeah, that title has a real fun twist at the end. That's a, that's a 1973 sex farce. Of course it is.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Yeah, it was a farce, all right. All right, so congratulations. Caitlin, you won the first game. Thank you. They said it couldn't be done. You did it. You did it. I'm in first place.
Starting point is 00:38:04 All right, and that means, as we all know, that by winning that, Caitlin gets to go first in our next game. Yeah, that's all you won, really. Yeah. It's just, it might not even be an advantage to get to go for it. I think it's a disadvantage for me. We'll see. We'll see how this works out.
Starting point is 00:38:24 Okay. Because our next game tonight is another audience favorite. It's called ABCD's nut! All right, this is a spelling game, sort of. Oh, no. I'm going to tell you, it's not really, I'm going to tell you a word, and then we are going to spell it by going through letter by letter. through that word.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Yeah, it's probably a good time to take a break. Too much water. Too much water. I believe right now if I could. He's sampling the product. He's in the sink. He's like, I know this game.
Starting point is 00:39:05 I can come back in a little while and it's going to still be going. So, Caitlin's going to start us off. I'm going to give you the first letter of this word, and you're going to name any movie, in the history of movies, it begins with that letter.
Starting point is 00:39:21 But as we go through spelling this word, you will maybe discover that there is a theme. That is crazy. Who's talking about things that are crazy back there? Your voice is very loud. And then it'll be, you know, if you match the movie that I've written down ahead of time, that fits the theme, then you're the winner of this game.
Starting point is 00:39:52 But you stay in the game just by naming any movie that begins with the next letter. And the word we're going to spell, this is a real flashback of a word. It's a fuckdiculous word if you ask me. We're going to spell Fergalicious. Yes. Remember when Ferggy was Fergolicious? Icon. Wouldn't stop singing about it.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Yes. icon, one of the best national anthem performances if you ever get a chance to look that up. There's not enough scatting in performances of the national anthem and good old Fergie
Starting point is 00:40:30 gotta gigette. Gotta gigette. See, tore it up. So the first letter to you, Caitlin, is F. You don't know what the theme is yet necessarily. So just name any movie that begins with the letter F. Flubber.
Starting point is 00:40:45 That's a guy. That's a great example. It's happened more than once with Fred McMurray and Robin Williams. But that's not what I wrote down. Damn it. Yeah, I wrote down 50 first dates. Rick, that's a trick. That's a five.
Starting point is 00:41:03 It begins with the letter five. Technically. You know, I don't know about you, but sometimes I spell out the word 50. He might be right, though. type that in. You're going to type in a five over an F. I think you're going to go 5.050. That's right. It's still the first letter. No matter
Starting point is 00:41:24 how you... The movie 7 has no letters in it. No matter how you slice it. Seven? It has no letters in it apparently. Well, 7 is S-E, and then the 7... Another 7. B is a 7. And M-E-N, so it's like seven.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Like, it just doesn't make any sense at all. Like David Fischer with his fucking movie titles, because I said, why was Alien cubed? Like that didn't make any sense. It was like a tiny little three out there. Come on, David Fincher.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Why can't you give us a simple mank? All right. The next letter in Fergalicious is E. Jeff, name any movie that begins with E or a movie you think thematically goes with 51st dates. It's going to just be letter because that... I'm going end of days. with Arnold Schwarzeneg.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Arnold Schwarzeneg. It's almost out of time. Yes, the days they're ending. Yeah, it's awful. Hey Arnold, it's just the sunset. No, it's end of days. It's not the end of just today.
Starting point is 00:42:30 The sequel is Start of Days. The sequel, End of More Days. End of nights. End of extra days. No, that's not what I wrote down. I wrote down Enron. Oh, just like 51st dates. Enron, colon, the smartest guys in the room.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Oh, that's interesting. My guess was that you wrote Eternal Sunshine. Like what? Yeah, but like what do 51st dates in Enron, the documentary, having common with each other? We'll find out eventually. Norman, the next letter is R. R.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Is it runaway bride? Use your mic voice. Oh, I'm sorry, guys. Runaway bride. Runaway Bride's a great guess because it begins with the letter R. But the movie I wrote down is called Rebound. Remember that? Martin Lawrence is a basketball coach who's on the rebound, both professionally and personally.
Starting point is 00:43:29 He's got scores to settle and he does it on the court. He's tall enough to be a basketball player, right? Okay, so the next letter going to Sal is G in Fergal. The G. You match this one, I'm going to be so excited. Glenn Gary, Glenn Ross? No. But that was a good guess
Starting point is 00:43:52 because it begins with G and then has more of them. It's a G-heavy title. But I went with Garfield, A Tale of Two Kitties. Yeah, not just Garfield, this sequel to Garfield. We're like Bill Murray was like, one of the dumbest things I ever did
Starting point is 00:44:12 was voicing Garfield in the Garfield movie and then they call them up, hey, do you want to be in the sequel? Okay. Why not? I'll take that fucking check. All right, so we're back to you, Caitlin. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:25 The next letter is A. Do you see anything, any common thread between Garfield and Rebound and Enron and 51st dates? Yeah, that's a wild one. I'm going to say American Pie. It begins with A, so I can't criticize.
Starting point is 00:44:42 that guess. I wrote down, Along came Polly. Yeah. Okay, that shuts. It's about a guy that meets a girl who likes to date multiple people. She was Polly.
Starting point is 00:45:03 I just, I made that one up just now. The classic Ben Stiller, Jennifer Aniston, comedy, of course, where she has a, You know, you know a character's quirky when she has a blind, what was her pet? Farrot. Farrot. She had a blind ferret. So like every other scene, we get to see the ferret run into a wall.
Starting point is 00:45:26 And that was supposed to be funny. This ferret's getting brain damage. Just running into shit because it's blind. What do we have a guess on the connection? Do we wait? Oh, I like how you're like, you know. I'm trying to figure that up. alliances and trying to figure this out.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Well, it's fun. Figure it out as a group. Because I'm trying to figure it out because of 51st age and some of it you can see some them them thematic. Like Garfield, 51states. He worked at a zoo. There's some zoo animals. Then Enron is fucking me up, dude. I mean, you know what?
Starting point is 00:46:01 Okay, I'm next. I will go next. Can I turn this riff into my turn Is your turn The letter is L. It is. So my first thought was like I was just naming a name, but then I was like,
Starting point is 00:46:18 oh, okay, there's some theme. I'm going to go Lady in the Tramp. Oh. Okay. It's incorrect, obviously, because he did not react. So let me do that again. I'm thinking. That's fun.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Changing the, you don't see that on Jeopardy. Like, Ken makes a face like, no. But no, but what is, what I really wanted to say is... I actually don't want to buy a vowel at all. That's Wheel of Forty. No, a long game. That's okay. You guys were just gonna all let me do that.
Starting point is 00:46:51 You guys were watching a great... I don't want to buy anything with that announcement. What? Elle? I did Lady the Tramp. Wait, no. It's not what... No, he did. It's done.
Starting point is 00:47:03 I thought you took it back. Okay. I thought you took it back like a, like this... spaghetti that they share. You just slipped it back into your own mouth. That's not what happened to that fuck you, lady. They shared it and they kissed.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Yeah, they did. They did. I'll just stay with my answer because I don't think my second answer will be any better. Okay. The movie I wrote down is called Little Man. What the fuck is that supposed to be? It's the
Starting point is 00:47:34 Wayne's Brothers classic where one of the way and Sean is like No, it's Marlin Marlin, yeah. Marlin is a little, he's little. He's little. That's the joke.
Starting point is 00:47:51 Look at this person we know is an adult in this movie, he's little. I is the next letter to Norman. I have a good feeling about this. Yeah? Yeah. Okay. I feel like you're on the right wavelength
Starting point is 00:48:05 and you're going to nail it. Okay. How about in and out? Kevin. Great guess. In and out, the great. Kevin Klein is a gay... He's a gay teacher.
Starting point is 00:48:19 And Norman, I bring this up every time this movie's mentioned. Isn't it funny that Tom Selleck is in that movie? Yeah. And that his entire career, he's had a big, bushy, gay-ass mustache. but in that movie he's clean-shaven. The one time it's like a work. The one time that mustache is perfect casting.
Starting point is 00:48:46 He's like, I'm going to shave it off. I don't want people thinking I'm actually gay. But that was a great guess, but no, it's the movie I wrote down is called It's a Boy Girl Thing. I don't know that one. I don't know it either. There's a movie called, it's a boy girl thing and it fits
Starting point is 00:49:06 the category it fits the overall overarching subject matter the next letter is C Sal Can't Buy Me Love I love I love it
Starting point is 00:49:20 I love your just determination I love your grit I love your go for itness but I wrote down Coach Carter
Starting point is 00:49:32 that was Sam Jackson, you know, comes into a school and makes the basketball team better. I think that's what happens. Back to you, Caitlin. I, and I is the next letter in Fergalicious. Can you believe there's so many letters in Fergalicious? Inside Man. Oh, that's a great, great guess.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Spike Lee movie. Clive Owen. Not what I wrote down. Damn it. I couldn't think of another I movie that fit So I just wrote It's a boy girl thing again These games aren't perfect
Starting point is 00:50:19 The next letter Jeff is oh I know Jeff's been thinking about this really hard Like what are all these goddamn movies I'm really trying to connect them Besides any alteration? What possibly do they have in common Because 51st date, Garfield, Enron.
Starting point is 00:50:36 Yeah, fucking Enron keeps fucking me, dude. What is the full title of Enron? Enron, the smartest guys in the room. Is there someone in every movie that loves lasagna? I think that's what it is. Yeah, it's all movies where somebody hates Mondays. Coach Carter is like, more lasagna, please. Get my boy some lasagna.
Starting point is 00:51:05 And I will have it on Tuesday. My instincts are saying something else. I want to go Oppenheimer, but I think I'm going to say over the hedge. This doesn't happen very often. But he did match one word. Over the top. That in itself is very exciting. No, I went with over her dead body.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Ah, what the fuck? I thought I did something. That movie's from 2008, but I feel like 2000 and late. All right. Back to you. Back to you, Norman, with the letter you. Not a lot of movies begin with you, that's for sure. Is Under the Skin a movie with Scarlet Johansson? the title, Under the Skin.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Okay. I mean, I would think that Under the Skin and Garfield of Tille of Two Kitties would be an amazing double feature, but I don't know if they have anything in common because that's not what I wrote down. I wrote down a movie from 2005 called Underclassmen.
Starting point is 00:52:24 Oh. Yeah. I almost said that. Yeah. It's all up to you, dude. It was like people are like, we're tired of all these you know, college movies. Let's talk about some underclassmen.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Not quite there yet. All right. So this is the last letter in Fergalicious. Connect Enron and Garfield right now. I don't think anybody's going to figure out the theme. But just go for it, Sal. Just any movie that begins with S. Swingers.
Starting point is 00:52:58 That's a great guess. Your money, baby. But I wrote down Spanglin. which is a word I use as often as I possibly can. And everybody did a great job. You all actually name movies. Like some people during this game freeze up and can't even come up with one movie
Starting point is 00:53:22 that begins with a letter, but you all did it, so I'm proud of all of you. But the theme was movies that feature a song by black-eyed peas or Fergie. No. Oh, my God. No.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Enron. You're kidding. Yeah, Enron is like, let's get it started. Are you serious? Wait, this is real? Yeah. Some of those movies actually have the song Fergillicious in them. What's the I movie again that you used twice?
Starting point is 00:53:59 It's a boy-girl thing. I don't know which Fergie song or Black Eye P. song was in there. But yeah, all of them have a... songs by them, but like let's get it started is in a lot of movies. And what's the one where they're singing about, how much fun we're going to have tonight? Oh, so
Starting point is 00:54:16 I got a feeling. Yeah, I've got a feeling. That's in a lot of these. That's in a lot of these movies. There's a lot of bar mitzvahs in these movies, I feel like. So nobody won that game, but that's okay. We'll be able to forge ahead and find a true winner right after the break. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:54:34 at City Winery. And every day might be a, you know, might be a tough sell for New Yorkers, you know, because you all go to like some sort of water-based activity on this particular weekend. But we are close to the water here. So I guess that's enough. And since nobody won the last game, Caitlin gets to go first again in this game. I'm going to switch the order around. So it's going to go Caitlin, Sal, Norman, Jeff.
Starting point is 00:55:31 But, you know, everybody still has a chance at winning. It's just Caitlin might have the best chance. I'd hold your... Water for elephants is excited. What's your actual name? Tom. Tom? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Okay, Tom. You know, you could have done Tom Morrow never dies. Yeah No, I know I've been doing this for a minute And it's funny He said I'm not that clever It wasn't that clever
Starting point is 00:56:08 So you're really not clever All right So The game we're going to play now To determine a winner tonight Is called The Little Search Engine That Could This is a game
Starting point is 00:56:29 Where I wrote a word I picked a word and I wrote it down. I typed it into the search engine on IMDB. And then I wrote down the top 10 titles according to IMDB that have this word in them. And so your job on stage is to take turns guessing movies that you think might have landed in the top 10 today on INDB that have this word in them. You're going to each get three guesses total and we'll start with Caitlin, like I said, then go to South.
Starting point is 00:57:17 So as we're playing, maybe you'll think of more, maybe you'll think of a better one, but you also have the opportunity to use a lifeline. You can go to the person you're playing on behalf of. you can go to them once so like Sal could turn to Maver Eric and just be like, help me out here and Maver Eric can give you one answer
Starting point is 00:57:43 He should technically know all the answers Yeah, yeah You can read the sheet You can either use it or not You know set it aside and come up with one of your own If you, you know, don't agree And you know, I always say like Go to your lifeline
Starting point is 00:58:01 early rather than late because once a lot of the titles are taken your lifeline might just shrug and then you're like fucking thanks a lot lifeline and the word
Starting point is 00:58:18 I know everybody's very excited to hear this the word tonight since we are here at city winery is winery there are no movies with the word winery in the title i'm kidding oh thank god
Starting point is 00:58:41 Caitlin's sitting there like winery I can't think of any under the Tuscan Sun that's it I was going to be like the winery the ballpark the under the Tuscan Sun no the actual word is city which is in an amazing amount of movie titles
Starting point is 00:59:03 have the word city in them, but your job is to figure out the ones that are in the top 10 today. Hey, you guys? Hey, hey, let's focus. I don't know what you're talking about over there. This is movies with the word city of them. Caitlin, what is, there's back at it. What are you talking about? You're so close to me and so loudly talking.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Yeah, that's what I said at the beginning of the show is try not to talk about answers out loud. Caitlin, what's your first guest, movies with City in the title? I would love to go to my lifeline. Nice! Nice! I think that's a very smart move. Let's go to Caitlin's Lifeline, our friend Tim.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Tom. Tom Maro never dies. Oh. Okay, so this guy's not my friend. I clearly don't know him at all. Tom, what would you suggest to Caitlin? Yeah, don't pick one that's not in the... Honestly, pick...
Starting point is 01:00:10 Don't pick any... Okay. Pick a movie that you think is popular that people would search on IMDB today with the word city in the title. Those two are still... Could you just stop it? Yeah, don't guess.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Just knock it off. I mean, I love that you're excited to protest. but you're talking loudly what's oh tom's getting some help yes the word city any any movie any movie that's the word city any yeah I love that movie he's saying sex in the city the movie yes yeah Caitlin I love that you love that answer yeah sex in the city the movie did not make the top 10 wow what what what what the hell? When you hear what did, you'll be like, oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Sex of the City, the movie was a few years ago and people aren't talking about it for some reason. And so it goes. Sal, what's your first attempt? Do you want to go to
Starting point is 01:01:23 your lifeline or do you have one? No, I have a guess. Okay. City of God? City of God. The movie about the slums of Rio, classic motion picture, is number two on the list. Oh, very nice. So Sal comes out of the gate with, oh, I should say that number one's worth 10 points, and then number 10's worth one point, and then there's all those points in between,
Starting point is 01:01:51 which means Sal just got nine points. Right out of the gate, that's a strong start, but everybody's still got more guesses, starting with Norman. You really took my name. What's your first? It's like, you know, in prices, right? When you say like $75 and the other person. 76.
Starting point is 01:02:11 You're like, God damn it. Close my first special on that joke. You really did. 600. 601. 601. Yeah. A asshole move.
Starting point is 01:02:20 I know. But Norman, you really did think of City of God? City of God was my choice, but now City of Men. Oh. That's your guess, City of Men. of men because it's like a children of men yeah no it's a not a spin off yeah a sequel a lot of a lot of people think am i right about this when i repeat it back like that is that your guess yeah that it's a wrong guess and and the people to think that are right because that is not that is not in the top 10
Starting point is 01:02:51 but uh thanks for playing norman we'll be back to you in a moment he's drawn in a moment he gets circling a zero He changes the O in Norman's his era. All right, Jeff, what's your first guest? Movie with City in the title. You want to get that number one title if possible? Sin City. Sin City is everybody's agreeing that that should be on here. And I'm looking at the list.
Starting point is 01:03:27 And it is number five on the list. Damn. What's number one? You did it. That's worth six points for Jeff. And now you come back to Caitlin, who already used her life life. So now, Caitlin, this is advice I give to people in this game all the time, is sometimes there's a title that just has that word in it that's just like an expression we all know
Starting point is 01:03:54 or just anything that pops into your head with the word city. if you can't think of a specific movie just go ahead and just try anything. Try anything. Like city something or something city. City Slickers. See how she did that?
Starting point is 01:04:17 I thought of it at the same time you did. I was like, city, slide. My answer. Sometimes you just got to go, city. Oh, Slickers. I'm sorry to say, though. Damn, that's such a good movie. And number two?
Starting point is 01:04:31 That was my next. It's number 11. I'm the list. Man, is anybody else, I don't know if you do this with the game a lot, but you say the words so many times, it loses its meaning. Yeah. I'm like, city. Why does it start with the C? No, it gets really, it gets really, it's a mind fuck for sure.
Starting point is 01:04:52 It gets very tricky. But that was, that was a great guess. You're still in this? Now we go over to Sal What's your second guess Or go to your lifeline? Babe, pig in the city. It's not the title.
Starting point is 01:05:12 It's not the title. I don't know. That is the title. Two. Yeah, it's called Babe Two. That's my favorite fucking movie. Between Garfield, the tale of two kitties, and Babe two, Pig in the City.
Starting point is 01:05:27 I do like an accurate, specific. I'm a real stickler for that, but unfortunately, Sal, that movie did not make the top 10. I don't know where it landed. It's not in the top... Number one of my heart. It's not in the top 12. Those are all the ones I wrote down. But you're still in the lead, Sal, so don't you worry.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Norman. Okay. What do you got for your second guest, a movie with City? I would go to the lifeline, but I think I just had one and now I forget. Oh, the Sandra Bullock and is it the Lost City? Is that a movie? You remember that Sandra Bullock and... Yeah, it's with Channing Tatum.
Starting point is 01:06:09 I saw that movie. I'm looking at you and it's not right. And Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt is in it. Yeah, he shows up for a little bit because they swapped. Like Sandra Bullock has a small part in, what is it, Bullet Train? And then he has a small part in Lost City. Lost City is number nine on the list.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Norman is on the board. I'm doing this for us. Norman just got... Oh, shit. Drop some shit. Norman's got two points. Great job, Norman. Yeah. I'll take it.
Starting point is 01:06:44 I'm telling you, this is still anybody's game. That number one movie is just sitting there waiting to be said by somebody. And now it's Jeff's turn. City of Angels. Oh, thanks guys. Yeah. It's got that Goos' Doll song that people play at their weddings.
Starting point is 01:07:06 The Goos. The Goos. Like, the Goo Goo Goo Dolls were kind of punk rock at first, and then they had like a couple of hit ballads, and then it was like, no. Well, the problem is, though, they also stayed punk rock. Like, they're all still doing it now. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:23 But they're older. But then they have to stop. and sing this city of what's it called? City of Angels. City of Angels. That's not in the top 10. Because he goes, what's it called again? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:35 City of Angels is number four on the list. People still talking to that movie. Doesn't like Mae Grine have like a brain tumor or something and Nicholas Cage is an angel and he's like, don't worry about it. She, the movie is the most frustrating movie I've seen because it's the movie, it's like a Titanic where you like, turn the boat because the end of the, is okay? Yeah, I think it's enough time has gone by. Some people are holding out on the Meg Ryan like City of Angels.
Starting point is 01:08:04 But yeah, the end of the movie, she rides a bicycle down a hill, which we've all done and gone. Yeah, with no hands. And I'll give up forever. And I know that it's her. And then she is killed by a bus, dude. Sorry. So it's got kind of a funny ending.
Starting point is 01:08:21 It's hilarious. And then Nick turns into a comedy there at the end. Nick Cage goes, but I did the angel shit already. He's all my. Yeah. This is a very frustrating movie. Well, you're killing it, dude, because now you have 13 points. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:38 But let's see what Caitlin has to say now. Can I say Sex in the City, Three? I don't think that's even happened. Oh, there's three. They decided to do like a second season, or they brought back the TV series, but there's only been two movies. Limit 2 movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:02 And Sex and the City 2 was, what was it called? Sex in the City 2. Abu Dhabi. Yeah, back in the habit. Sex in the City 2, the Search for Curly's Gold. They could have so much fun with that, but I think it's just Sex and the City too. But anyway, what's your guest, though? Home Alone? Lost in the City?
Starting point is 01:09:29 It's lost in New York. Lost in the city. He was lost in a city. It's true. He's lost in Dubuque. Oh, there it was my house. He's not lost for long. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:09:46 He also wasn't that lost. He was like, he had a hotel room. He paid for it somehow. We're going to guess city life. Oh, see, I love that. Just take an expression. Yeah. Maybe it could be there.
Starting point is 01:10:03 In this case, it is not. But maybe, maybe there's a chance. So congratulations, Caitlin. You got no points in that, Katie. I got 11th. It's a negative one. Yeah, but you did great in the earlier game. So just to, you know, take that home with you.
Starting point is 01:10:23 Okay. Yeah. And I'll buy a pin. That'll be... I'll give you one. Sal, what's your... Now this is this guess is crucial because you need to get four points to tie and five points to win, which means you need to name either the sixth movie on the list, the third, or the number one movie that has City and the title on IMDB today.
Starting point is 01:10:56 Like I typed it in today and people are searching. I feel like dark city might be something, but I might be confusing that with Sin City. I'm talking it out like I'm on who wants to be a millionaire. Yeah. No, definitely work it through before you give your final answer. I feel like there's an 80s movie, but you Googled it today. So ask your mentalist.
Starting point is 01:11:18 It might be a Michael J. Fox. Yeah, I'll go to my mentalist. Oh, you'd ever gone to your lifeline? No, I have not. So I'm going to go to MadHenert. Okay, let's see what your lifeline has to say. he laughed at you're right
Starting point is 01:11:34 is that the new Wes Anderson movie yeah there's a in the prize bag tonight there's a t-shirt from asteroid cities that might have been why it was on the mentalist
Starting point is 01:11:45 mind because he just saw it with his own eyes well I was gonna I was going to guess like I feel like there's an 80s movie possibly with Michael J. Fox called Bright Lights Big City
Starting point is 01:12:01 that is right yeah but you go I googled it today, and so I don't see how that would be there over asteroid city, plus he's a mentalist. I know, right? So I'm going to abandon my gut and go at Mav Eric and say Asteroid City. Asteroid City is number 12 on the list. So close. And then I also gave away a movie.
Starting point is 01:12:34 It really couldn't have gone worse for you Yeah, you did But I will see what Norman wants Norma, before you go Let me just name seven movies with Citi in it All right I'm gonna go with my lifeline You guys have an idea?
Starting point is 01:12:49 Oh yeah, what do you think over there Anita and Jim? Great one That's a lifeline That's why we're a line Yes, you got Chris Rock is Pookie Isn't he Tutsi in that? Now he's due a leap.
Starting point is 01:13:10 That was so good and everyone was so excited. Number 28. I feel terrible. Yeah, it did not make the top. No one's searching for New Back City today. The top 10. But boy, that was a great one. And I'm sure it's up there somewhere.
Starting point is 01:13:34 All right. Well, you know, Jeff is. He's already our winner, but do you want to like... Okay, I'm gonna... Do you want to really run away with this thing and come up with one more? Can I just... I'm gonna do three answers. I'm gonna give you a funny answer. An interesting answer, and then I'm gonna...
Starting point is 01:13:52 What is this? Hollywood squares? I don't know. I'm just trying to have fun. My fun answer is city, city, bang, okay. And then my... My second answer is the thought that maybe city isn't its own word. Maybe it's part of, like, velocity. or something bigger word,
Starting point is 01:14:09 but I couldn't think of anything. So my real answer is lifeline. Ooh, that's fun. It's not correct, but that'll work for my answer. Yeah, Detroit Rock City is a, you know, it's a great movie. It has City in the title. With the kid from Terminator.
Starting point is 01:14:27 It absolutely does. Edward Furlong. Furlong, yeah. Yeah. Nope, not on. He just pretended to look. out here. Is there some type of motor city, something
Starting point is 01:14:41 on there or other? Electric city? Queen of the city. Why are you guys Why do you all have so many guesses now that it's over? Our congratulations and Jeff. Our Curie is our winner
Starting point is 01:14:55 tonight. So Jeff gets to do two things right now. He gets to, first of all, name someone that you want me to call a shithead when I close out the show tonight. Actually, the person you're playing for should pick. So who are you playing for?
Starting point is 01:15:18 You were playing for Brendan. Brendan and Brendan Zilla minus Dan. Brendan, I'm going to help you with this. Okay, who would you like me to call a shithead, Brendan? Do you have someone in mind? Oh, okay. All right. I'm going to go to someone personal in your life.
Starting point is 01:15:39 Every week, it's Donald Truffle. I want someone personally. in your life. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I want. Your director? Are you an actor? No, I'm my library. Oh, yeah, you're the director of your library, Adam. What's wrong with Adam? What did he do? He sucks? Is Adam going to hear this?
Starting point is 01:15:54 Probably not. No, he's a book guy. Yeah, and he's a shithead apparently. Trump's going to hear it. Yeah, he does. Yeah, Trump's a big listener. He's drinking diet coke. He's Brendan.
Starting point is 01:16:10 I meant he's big and he's a listener. All right, so, and then the next thing I want you to do, Jeff, is do your plugs. What would you like to promote? I got a special out now on Netflix called Nice to Meet You, so give that a watch if you can. Even if they pull it off before Doug gets a chance to watch it. Like he said earlier, remember about Netflix? You should watch remarkably bright creatures first. Yeah, I will.
Starting point is 01:16:37 Before it's taken down. That's why I wanted to step in and be like, Netflix is actually an amazing corporation. I think you should all support them with a monthly subscription. But yeah, give my special a watch. Nice to meet you on Netflix. Please, that'd be a lot. Right on. Now I'll reveal the answers that we didn't get to,
Starting point is 01:17:01 that didn't get named. Number 10 is a movie called City of, of ember. Oh. Very interesting lighting. Interesting. In that movie. Then nine was Lost City.
Starting point is 01:17:17 Eight. This one goes way back to Charlie Chaplin and City Lights. Oh. Yeah, Charlie Chaplin classic. And then number seven, who said it? I think Sal said it.
Starting point is 01:17:31 Dark City. Wow. Dark City was number seven on the list. Science fiction movie that Roger Ebert was like, that's the best movie ever made. I watched it and I was like it's all right. Number six, this is
Starting point is 01:17:45 what happens with the currentness of it all. A movie from 2026 that just came out on Prime called Splash City. Yeah, so I didn't think anyone would come up with that unless they just happen to just watch it. Sin City, City of Angels, and then
Starting point is 01:18:03 number three, a classic from 1972 with Jeff Bridges called Fat City. Yeah. And then this is Sal, this is going to make you crazy. Number two was City of God and then number one was what you were fumbling around with earlier.
Starting point is 01:18:19 Motor City is number one on the list. Oh man, you piece of shit. I'm going to kill myself. Yeah, Motor City is Alan Richson who plays Jack Reacher on TV. It's a movie with him and
Starting point is 01:18:36 you know, several other... Oh, it's out now. actors. It just was just now. No words. And they don't talk. It's like a music video, but it's an action movie and it's, it doesn't entirely work, but it is an interesting attempt.
Starting point is 01:18:52 And of course, people are looking it up on I and DV going, what the fuck is this movie? Because after you watch a few minutes of it, you're like, why aren't they talking? Like, why are this is a talkie? Why are people quiet, like in that Taplin movie, City Lights?
Starting point is 01:19:07 All right, let's, uh, Let's get everybody else do their plug. Salve Elkhanna, what would you like to promote? Going back on tour now.
