Doug hates candy wrappers screening baby sticky seeds with 50 acid pot more kernels in his teeth.
There's still not more that he won't see because Doug.
Especially with so much success.
Hey, hey, hey, everybody.
My name is Doug and I love movies.
Holy shit, even better than in rehearsal.
Coming to you once again from the American comedy, comedy in Sweetheas.
Goodness, it is Comic-Con week once again.
We come down, I come down here, and various guests of mine who happen to be in town come by,
and we do this, I don't know how many years now it's been going on for,
but tonight we are recording on Comic-Con preview night, July 22nd, 2026th, for,
for release
on Thursday.
Who doesn't love release?
Release on Thursday
July 28th.
So we have a six-day window
where things could happen
in the world
that we're going to sound
ignorant about
on stage.
Before I bring my guests out,
who wants to see
what's on the line tonight?
Who wants to see what's in the prize bag?
Sounds like no.
Nobody cares.
Nobody gives a shit.
They are in an exclusive, very limited edition,
Douglas Movies, Toad Bag.
It's probably the best part of the prize is the tote bag.
But we've also got some other great items in here,
and I will tell you about them now.
A
rubber
disposable
pipe
from our friends
at Peacemaker
P-I-E-C-E-Maker
just like the
TV show
and
probably shouldn't
try to tie them in together
even though
that show's very violent
I don't know how pro-weed
they're pretty pro-weed over at
Peacemaker
but anyway
this is a piecemaker
pipe that's only been
use once.
Yeah, I say that
every time, gets a laugh every time.
This is a
pin that says
I love my mayor
and it's Henry Winkler.
Because there is a
movie called Normal
with Bob Odenkirk and
Henry Winkler was the mayor, so
they made that.
They made that thing.
We've got
a very cool
pin that
how's it going?
again, Terry?
The exclusive Alamo draft house
Godzilla
Bialante?
PIN.
Yes.
For more about that,
go to t-pins
with a z.com.
You can't film this part.
No, you don't need it
for promo.
I will sue your ass.
All right.
So last night I got to go
to the
the world premiere
of
Stewart Fails to Save the Universe
The spin-off from Big Bang
Theory and
it was fun. I loved it
and they gave away
shirts. Everybody got
a shirt and look at this shirt.
Isn't it beautiful?
Yeah, mixed reactions.
That's what I'm hearing.
So
both me and my girlfriend got one
and so I have an extra large and a small.
And I rarely have two different sizes in the prize bag.
This is perfect because it could be won by a cute couple
or, you know, one guy could win it who's in Excel
and he could find the small in his life.
I'd give them a Stewart fails to save the universe shirt.
It's just, it's a cool-looking shirt, but you know what I mean?
I'm not going to wear a shirt with a guy staring through a wind
But just staring at everybody you walk by, your shirt is fucking staring at them.
Like, I don't need that.
But check the show out on HBO Max.
And then this is fun.
I'm excited about this.
There's this movie called Girls Like Girls.
And throughout the movie, they talk about having bracelets and say olive juice,
which, of course, you slow down, you know that all that goes.
Some people don't.
If you slow down olive juice, it's,
I love juice.
And this is girls, like girls is a story of a girl named Penelope who meets a girl named Juice.
That's not true.
But I was so excited about what I was going to do with this, but they've put this.
The packaging is like when you're trying to open up, trying to get to some weed.
And it's just French lip bracelets and say olive juice.
And I was going to take one and put it on, and then the winner gets the other one.
and so no matter what happens to the two of us
will be connected
but I couldn't open the fucking thing
okay so also I've got
three pins in here
another pin by our friends at T-pins
that's me looking like
Willie Wonka
and then I've got a very limited edition
like there's only a few left of Douglow's Movies pin
and a Doug Benson pin.
All the pins are in here.
But here's the absolute best thing.
Apologies to the pins and the shirts
and the friendship bracelets.
But this is a Pax 3.
Exactly.
There's a few people to respect the Pax name
and other people are like, what is that?
But it is a delicious vaporizing tool.
that I have enjoyed on several occasions.
And they give me so many free ones
that I can pass it along to you.
Let's get my guests out here.
What do you say?
These are three good ones.
We always have a good time in San Diego Comic-Con
because my friends that are involved in Comic-Con
kind of shit are here.
And especially, it's good that some of them come down
a day early because this is a preview night
of Comic-Con.
on, please give it up everybody for Kevin Kraft, Chris Mancini, and Yorgo Art Sita!
I fucked up the alphabetical.
I didn't get the alphabetical right exactly on that, but I'm going to fix that right now
because we're going to talk to each of my guests individually alphabetically by first name.
Of course I have to look at my notes to figure out who the fuck that's going to be.
Could be anybody.
I need my readers.
Where are my readers?
Right here in my hand.
It's always the last place you look, right?
Oh, it was in my hand the whole time.
This is his fourth appearance on the show.
The last time being, I cannot believe this, 10 years ago, it's Chris Mancini, everybody.
Thank you. Yes.
Wow.
A decade of being snubbed.
Fantastic.
Yeah.
Well, you know, I feel like it's crazy that it's been long.
Is that accurate?
I don't think it is.
No.
I think you've been on since then.
Yeah.
I was on last week.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But now you've been on because, like, you know, you do reach out to me when you've got something to promote.
I appreciate that because it's a, you know, it's a nice two-way street.
I get a good guest and you get, you know, maybe one or two people to consider purchasing whatever it is you're selling.
And they may not do it, but you got them thinking about it.
Yep.
Yeah.
Every appearance is $20 to $25 on Kickstarter.
Yeah.
But so that leads up to my point that you're here right now because you've got something to promote.
Tell me about it, Stud.
Absolutely.
First, I brought something old and something new.
The old one is the comedy film nerds guide to movies.
Yes.
With a four word by Doug Benson.
I wrote the four words.
Yes, and that's for the prize bag.
I was like, can it be four words?
Oops, and I dropped the thing I'm promoting.
Oh, so.
All right.
This is a new comic we have at ComicCon.
We're premiering it this week.
It's called Alpha Cat.
And it is basically a Star Trek with Animals meets Looney Tunes.
But also someone described it as Starship Troopers with Cats, so I think we're going to do that.
Yeah.
I mean, we're going to go with that.
But yeah, this will be, we have this at Small Press P-10, and you can come on by and grab one.
Nice.
And put this in the prize bag, too?
Sure.
I love that.
You know, now you're cutting back the number of people that might come buy one.
Great.
Now $10 to $15 on Kickstarter.
That's the risk we have to take.
You know, like I'm selling my pins after the show,
and maybe the only person that would have bought any won the prize bag.
And they got them all for free.
So you just never know.
But thank you for bringing this.
And thank you for being here.
And good luck.
Thank you.
There's not that much on the line.
I don't know why.
Good luck, Chris.
Yeah.
I hope this Trojan horse scheme of yours works out.
So far, so good.
Like, why would they be like, oh, they're retreating,
so we're going to accept this giant horse?
Yes.
Look at, they're all running away.
You must be good.
Let's take the horse inside.
Let's also get drunk and go to bed and not even worry about what might be in the horse.
And it's light enough that it may be hollow.
Yeah.
It did seem that hard to push.
We all chipped in.
They all chipped in like somebody's car broke down.
They all run around and help give it a push.
I haven't seen The Odyssey yet, but apparently,
Matt Damon feels bad for tricking people that way.
Slaughtering all of them.
That's the name.
Christopher Adela.
Christopher Adola should remake every classic
and just make the hero feel bad about what they did.
Yeah, yeah.
He's got Oppenheimer and Odysseus.
Let's keep this going.
Like, people that fucked up.
Got a lot of people killed.
Let's make a movie celebrating their lives.
Thanks for being here, Chris.
This is his 14th appearance on the show,
one of which was when he guest hosted
the only time that that's ever happened on the show.
It's Kevin Kraft, everybody.
Thank you, Doug.
Good to be here.
Do you think there's people?
that have like a knee fetish, like a naked knee cap
fetish.
Just in case they do.
Let me help out.
If they're in this audience tonight, they are thriving.
And if you like your knees pasty?
I just don't.
I got you.
Yeah, I just don't get a lot of shorts up here,
especially because, you know, we have the tall stools.
And so you're really, you're really up there.
And just open to.
whatever. So what's going on?
Kevin made a motion picture.
We're so proud of him.
Thank you. Thank you.
And it's, you know,
now when you put out a movie, especially an independent movie,
or you make an independent movie,
there's all these stages along the way that you're, you know,
you're promoting. Like when you're trying to get funds to make it
or get it made, and while you're making it,
you want to keep promoting it.
And then like to try to sell it and distribution,
all that shit.
So what's the latest thing,
what's the latest stage
in the development of your movie?
The second coming of John Cooper is out.
I reached the finish line.
Yeah.
I got it.
Nice.
Yeah, you can rent it on Amazon Prime
or Fandango.
If you're in Canada, YouTube.
Did you know?
No.
They won't let your movie go out in Canada
unless it's in French
and you have a French
poster. So
yeah, Canadians have to watch
it on YouTube.
I don't know why... How do you say the second
coming of John Cooper
in French?
Le
de
blebleble
Oh, okay, so
he's a vampire
in that person.
Blu-blueblah.
I want to suck your
blal-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la.
Well, congratulations on that, and everybody that hasn't checked it out yet,
because we've been with you every step of the way talking about this production on Doug Loves movies,
and I'm happy to have been a part of it.
Yeah, Doug's in it.
I'm in it.
Yeah.
So if you're a Doug Benson completionist, you can't claim that unless you watch the second coming of John Cooper.
Every goddamn thing that I've been in,
that you gotta see this.
Yeah.
And I brought a poster too, so anybody who wins.
Somebody's going to win a poster for you.
Here, give me, I'll take it.
I'll take it.
Brian Possein is also in it.
It's the biggest thing coming out this year that he's done.
Rob Cordry, you know, Doug loves movies fans.
Everybody here is one.
Dustin Ibarra is in it.
He's been on the show a bunch.
Yeah.
So please check it out.
No, I appreciate that you, you know,
treated me as your overlord.
I had made decisions based on things that I did.
You welcome, Doug.
My microphone cord is like wrapped around
in the mic stand like I'm goddamn
aerosmith or something.
I am living on the edge right now.
This is his fifth time on Doug loves movies
including a previous appearance.
is here in San Diego two years ago.
And I hear he has something to plug, but maybe not.
It's Yorghorn Sintez, everybody.
Oh, thank you guys so much.
Appreciate it.
I do have something to plug, but maybe not.
It's very awkward.
Two years ago, I came here, and I was so excited
I made a short documentary about trolling online
and how in 1999, a chain letter went around the internet
trying to subvert total request live,
the MTV show's voting process
by getting a decade-old new kids on the block music video on.
And it turned into like a pioneering moment
and online trolling.
And that was lovely.
And now two years later, I sold it.
And I'm so excited.
Congrats.
Nice.
And I can't fucking say where.
too, yeah. So it is kind of, but I really appreciate it. I also have something else to plug
if I can't. Could you just say where it isn't going to be and then we could figure it out?
Yes, all of them? Yes. C-so, quibby, crackle, UPN, UPN. X-hamster. Yeah, certainly won't.
and yeah
hopefully you guys get to watch
it in the future I'm very very excited about it
this is very awkward
but I also
I want to talk
I want to plug I did another mini
documentary and a story about
Popeye's Village
is anybody here familiar with Popeye's Village?
Oh yeah he has a shirt on
show everybody your shirt
that has Popeye on it
the legendary cartoon figure
yes but says Popeye's Village
Malta where
where Popeye the most
motion picture was filmed. Yes.
They bought a, or they built
an entire community
in a Malton Bay
as the set of Popeye
back in 1979.
Yeah, there's a bunch of little huts and bridges
connecting them. Weird ass, weird ass movie.
Very weird.
And after the movie was done shooting,
Malta was like,
well, fuck it, we got it.
Let's turn it into a theme park.
And so for 45
five years, they've had a theme park, just like Disneyland,
except for instead of Mickey, they have Popeye.
And instead of rides, they have, like, Big Jenga and Tic Tactoe.
And it's pretty awesome.
They have, like, characters walking around all over the place.
I met Popeye.
He was fun.
I went up to him, and they took a selfie, and I was like,
I am what I am, and I took a selfie, and then I walked away,
and he, like, muttered, but what am I?
It was very, very existential.
Did Wimpe hit you up for a hamburger?
And what day of the week was it?
Right, old people?
He would have gotten taxed, I believe, by the taxman.
Oh, no. Oh, my God.
Yeah.
Well, Poppa in the movie was such a weird mess because Robert Altman directed it.
And his old style was to, like, be very naturalistic and have overlapping dialogue.
but like, you know, who wants a Popeye movie
where people olive oil screaming at him
at the same time he's talking.
And then Robin Williams did such a good job.
Like, the cartoon Popeye was kind of like,
you couldn't really get to know him
because he was always grumbly
and hard to understand.
And Robin Williams nailed it.
You know, he's always walking around.
And he's like, what the fuck is this guy talking about?
You know, it's fine for like a five-minute cartoon,
but like for a whole goddamn movie.
And then songs, like these characters
with horrible voices singing songs.
He's large!
And he's large!
Her voice sounded better in the shining than it did.
In Popeye.
That's what I call it.
Pauai.
Hey, Pauai.
All right.
So anyway.
Yes.
Yorgo's here to promote
Popeye Village in Malta.
Yeah.
Call your travel agent today.
And say to them,
I have a travel agent?
There's a...
Sorry, it's with tablet hotels.
You'll check it out on tablet hotels.
I have a story in a documentary out there.
I have to...
Yeah.
You're right.
Also, you are right that...
Be sure to lead into your light
because I apologize.
That seat on the end,
like you're kind of in shadow over there,
which is, you know, it could be scary at times.
Yes.
Well, I'm moving all over the place.
You know what I mean?
I'm doing this the whole time.
People don't want to hear about Popeye's Village
from somebody in the shadows.
In the shadows.
There's a place in Malta.
Go up to the Northeast Bay.
This can't be real.
Show yourself.
There's so much spinach.
There's a skinny woman.
All right.
So this is fun.
I'm going to proceed to the next part of the show
where I ask each and every one of you
to recommend one motion picture.
We'll start with Chris Mancini.
Please recommend a movie.
Can be old or new,
just something you think people should check out.
I am going to go with
Something Wicked This Way comes from 1983.
With Jonathan Price.
With Jonathan Price.
and Jason Robards.
Disney. That was Disney being like,
ooh, we're edgy now.
Disney had a long tradition
of live action movies that were not
remakes of anime ones, like with Treasure Island
and Apple Dumpling Gang.
Robinson, Caruso, Swiss Family Robbins.
And this movie, something wicked this way comes,
ended that tradition.
It was like the weirdest movie.
Like I saw it again on, like it just showed up
again on Disney Plus,
but you could almost hear Disney Plus go,
well, you don't have to watch it.
We're going to put it on, but you don't have to see it.
But there's parts of it that are absolutely brilliant.
Like Jason Robarts and Jonathan Price were at a different movie.
I mean, they have like this scene in the library
where they're just going after each other
and talking about aging and life and death and evil and all this stuff.
And then the reshoots spanned so much time
that the kids age up and down in certain scenes.
So it has that great Disney opening of like, oh, this is kind of like, you know, bright, cheery.
And then about a half an hour later, you go, oh, my God, what just happened?
That guy just got propositioned for sex, and then there's giant spiders in the kids' bed.
Did I say recommend a movie you're dying to trash?
Yeah.
That being said, you have to see this movie.
We want them to experience all the craziness.
Because the good parts are really good because it's creepy and weird and then you just have to forgive the stuff where the studio went, you have to stop making it creepy and weird.
Yeah, it was a real mixed bag, but boy, I do remember being quite excited for it when it came out.
I was probably about 42 at the time.
Kevin Kraft, what would you like to recommend?
But obviously I want everybody to watch my movie.
But I'll save that for the plugs.
I'll save it for the plugs.
There is a movie called Manborg.
I don't know if you've ever heard of it.
Have you talked about it on the show before?
No.
I saw it for the first time recently.
You just got turned on to it.
Okay.
Yeah.
So it's by this director, Stephen Kostanski.
He recently just did a remake of,
death
death
oh fuck
death stalker
no way
yeah
and it was sick
it was sick it's like a lot of practical stuff
he's a very interesting filmmaker
like I watch a lot of movies
so it's nice when I see something
when I'm like what the fuck was that
and Manborg is exactly that
it's on Tooby
it was made for like a thousand dollars
it's a futuristic
cyberpunk sci-fi movie
and if you've ever
seen the short
Kung Fury
where it's like
very heavily
leans into the camp
it is so fun
it's so weird
and what they pulled
off for $1,000
like you will be
entertained it was great
so Manborg
check out Manborg
on Tobe
let me ask you this
is it better than Babe
you don't have to answer that
stupid question
I love that you
also brought
where people
could see it, whereas Chris Mancini named a movie that's, oh, it's on Disney Plus.
On Disney Plus, yeah.
Okay.
One of the few movies on Disney Plus that has full frontal.
Yeah.
Wow.
That's not real.
Male or female.
Yeah.
But imagine.
I'm like they agreed to Jonathan's price.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
Yorgo, what would you like to recommend today?
I'm going to not do the obvious Odyssey thing
because I'm sure it's going to make money until 2047.
So you firmly stand in the pro-odicy camp?
I'm Greek and I'm pro-Odesty.
I'm very, very...
We are taking credit for now, folks.
You should be the most mad about this movie
and you loved it.
I thought it was really good.
The way that you made fun of it,
was very funny because that's kind of the same complaint.
It's like, oh, he killed people and felt bad about it?
Wow, let's spend 40 minutes on that.
Christopher Nolan's really figured out the psyche of man.
Yes.
That they might feel a scosh of guilt for killing their friends.
And, yeah.
I'm going to recommend a bug's life.
I saw a bug's life reason I thought a lot.
Here we go.
now we're talking
that's great
fucking
all these other
lame ass suggestions
yeah fucking a bug's life
when Yorgo's been sitting on a bug's
life
the fucking
this whole
everyone's sitting in
everybody's seen it
how do you feel about
why is
this seems like
ants erasure
does it
yeah
because
I in general
isn't it weird
that like I mean
I know
bugs life isn't like
on the top of anybody's list.
They got rid of Bugs' Life at
the Disney Parks. But
nonetheless,
it wasn't as ugly and weird as
ants. Yes.
Did he...
Woody Allen and Sylvester Stallone is the voice of
Ann. Yes.
It is a...
Yeah. It's a bit of a...
Two voices you want to hear all the time.
Yeah. Yeah.
There's the two voices in my head.
One is the angel, the other is the
devil.
Which one's which we'll never know.
Oh, you know which one's the Tulsa King.
The Demolition Man.
Oh, it's, it is true that Ants was kind of...
Don't bring up Demolition Man. It makes me want Taco Bell.
Yeah?
Is it because of the shells?
No, because of the Taco Bell.
No.
There's the whole part where they have Taco Bell.
Yes, Ants is the deep impact.
of Bugs Life Armageddon, for sure.
No, it was weird that those came out at the same time.
But Bugs Life, you know, other than like the villainous grasshopper,
it's, you know, it's all pretty, you know,
bugs are cute.
And in ants, they're like fucking scary looking.
None of them are cute.
They're all just like, God damn, I don't want to watch that thing talk.
I don't want, I don't want that to have emotions.
as much as Woody Allen and Sylvester Stallone
are willing to emote
well gosh we're in an arm
I don't know if we're in a
why we have to be in an arm
is this good is this a good Woody
I don't know
oh my
but so why
we got we gotta move on but why
why are you so fond of a bug's life
I think I started the right time
in my life where I have an emotional
nostalgia for it and I re-werewere
I watched it recently and I'm like,
this is probably my favorite Pixar movie.
Yeah. Even though like finding Nemo is perfect and...
So they ruined it with searching for Nemo.
Searching for Nemo?
Is that the behind the scenes documentary?
What was...
Finding Dora.
Finding Dori.
Who the fuck is Dori?
Short-term memory.
Short-term memory, get it?
Get it?
There we go.
Stay on your toes.
I should probably sit down.
I can't. I'm too much when I'm standing.
Oh, but I should be in charge also, so I'm going to stand up again.
But, yeah, I enjoy Bug's Life a lot.
My favorite Pixar movies, as time goes on, becoming more and more of the ones where they didn't fucking ruin it with a sequel.
100%.
You know what I mean?
So Monsters Inc. Well, they did make a sequel, but...
Yeah.
And since it was a prequel, I'll give him a little bit of a break that they didn't talk.
totally ruin the, you know, because if they try to continue, it's always trying to continue
a story that was perfect as it was.
Yeah.
You know, they don't need to keep going.
I know you forgot about this, but in finding Norea, that's what they do, too.
What's that?
You're not catching me this time.
No, seriously, what do they do?
Seriously.
When you meet, I'm in a vice group right now.
I don't know what to do.
Which is better? Cars 2 or Cars 3?
It's a trick question. Don't answer.
Yeah?
If you don't get it right, you don't get it.
Go over the bridge.
I'm going to go with Cars 3.
Yeah, of course.
Boom!
Cars 2 is like, oh, everybody loves Mater.
No, we don't.
No.
Thank you for those recommendations.
I will...
What'd you say again?
Manborg.
Oh, yeah, manborg.
And what was yours again, Yorgo?
Mine?
Yeah, I remember Chris's.
Mine was finding Dory.
I didn't know this as Jesus was contagious.
I'm going to see one of those.
Cool.
Manborg, it is.
Yeah.
I'm going to man-borg it up.
Yeah.
Is that beetle borgs adjacent in any way?
Which one?
Beetleborg?
Man-Bord, Beetle-Borg?
Surprisingly, not related.
No.
What about the Borg from Star Trek?
There's a lawsuit currently pending.
It's time for our first commercial break.
We'll be right back.

We're back!
That might be, I feel like that's the most fun I've had in a commercial break.
During the history of this show.
So that's another reason why you should come out and see the show live.
And thank you to the waitstaff at American Comedy Company for taking
all of our requests.
And apologies to the listeners
while I'm eating my prime
rib.
Okay.
So Chris,
Chris Bancini is playing
for Lawrence
of Arabia.
Yes.
Yeah.
And Kevin is playing
for Veronica, California.
With a K.
and the Brad Pitt vehicle.
Yeah, and Yorgo is playing for Everest.
His name's Everett, but there's a movie called Everest.
And this is Doug Love's Movies.
We are back at Dinosaur's Story.
During the break, we chose all of those people,
and they're going to win
if the person on stage is our ultimate winner.
Our first game tonight is,
called live, die, repeat.
This is what I call a messed up game.
I'm staggered the seating, and my guests, I appreciate you not sitting down and moving
your chairs around because you're in a perfect position because I need to see each of you
during this game.
I am going to say the title of an actual feature film very slowly.
The first person on stage that can repeat back the title correctly in its entirety wins.
After every wrong guess, I'll start back at the beginning of the title.
Do you want a practice round?
Yes.
The love one.
See which one of you can repeat back this title the quickest.
Ant-Man.
Ant-Man in the walk.
Kevin won that one.
Oh, damn.
was just Ant-Man.
All right, here we go.
Here's the movie title.
The Time I Got Reincarnated as...
The Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, the movie Scarlet Bond.
The Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
The time I got reincarnated as a slime.
tears of the Azure C.
That is it.
Wow.
That was not supposed to happen.
That is not how that was supposed to go.
I watch anime.
I discovered recently that there's more of these
than you do another one of them.
There is like some insane titles
in the anime world.
So did you watch this?
No.
So my friend and I, we do a Patreon show called Dragon Ball Queef, where he's a big sports guy,
so I force him to watch the first episode of an anime series, and then we do a podcast on it.
And it's, you know, the dichotomy of it is crazy.
And we've come across that title before, the series.
So I was aware, you know, I knew the, I thought you were doing the first movie, but that's the,
no, this is the time I got reocardated as a series.
slime colon the movie
another colon
what the fuck is happening there
like change it up with a dash
anime is colon heavy
but tears as you see like that is
what the hell
what a title it's a word contest
they they really like a word count
oh that's important have a lot of words
that's why I chose the second coming of
John Cooper is going to be massive in the anime community.
No brevity.
Well, congratulations, Kevin.
And you know what?
Yeah, give it up for Kevin.
Because we all know what happens next.
Kevin goes first in our next game.
That's right.
So it's going to go Kevin, then your go.
than Chris, then Kevin,
New York, then Chris.
Each time it's your turn,
you're going to have to compete
one-on-one in Bain
again.
I'll say a quote
by a famous movie villain.
You have to guess the villain's name
or the actor who played the villain
when speaking that line.
And I'm going to say it in my Bain voice.
My version of Bain.
Just to obfuscate, if that's the right word,
what is happening with the quote.
First to get two of these right is the winner.
Let the games begin.
Chris, I mean, Kevin?
Yes, Doug.
Talk to you later, Chris.
Standing by.
Stand down, Chris.
This is just for Kevin.
If he doesn't know it, then Yorgo gets a shot,
then Chris gets a shot, etc.
Kevin, which villain or which actor who played that said villain
said this.
Never rob a man's rhubarb.
Never rob.
A man's rub.
Rub?
Rub.
Rub.
Never rub.
Never rub.
Never rub.
I feel like I've been watching the wrong Christopher Nolan movies this week.
So I do not believe that that is Bain.
But that's not the game we're doing here.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
That is...
These are things Bain did not say.
But with a Bain.
voice. I am now with you, Doug.
We're on the same page. Yeah, you want to hear it again?
That is Robert Davy and the Goonies.
I think he said that to Chunk. Don't rub my rhubarb.
I'm not asking for context.
But that is incorrect. Your go.
I have absolutely no idea, so I'm going to get Lhazzo from Toy Story 3.
Great guess. Chris.
Jonathan Price from
Something Wicked This Way Comes
I mean you just watched it
you just recommended it so of course he recognized it
Never Rubber
Is Jack Nicholson as the Joker
And Tim Burton's Batman
Yeah never rub another man's rhubarb
I feel like I have to give away my Comic-Con badge
after whiffing on that.
All right, who wants this?
I think never rub.
Never rub another man's room arm
is right up there
with you can't handle the truth.
All right, nobody's on the board.
We start with you again, Kevin.
Okay.
Which movie villain or actor said this?
There's only one path to peace.
Your extinction.
Oh.
There's only one.
path to peace
your extinction
fuck that sounds familiar
I bet
it's a famous quote from a movie
that made a lot of money
I'm going to whiff and be so pissed
at myself
with it good
I feel like this is like
uh
uh uh uh
i aye aye aye aye
ibidi ibidi
I will always love you
is this is it uh is
Hugo Wee
in the Matrix?
It is not.
Fuck!
Jorgo.
That was my backup, if you
said my first thing.
I'm going to go
Thanos?
Is it Thanos or Thanos?
It's Josh Poland.
Either way it's wrong.
Either way it's wrong.
Oh, fuck me.
Chris.
Those were my two
guesses.
Can I say
the actual Matrix in the Matrix?
Oh,
the old talking Matrix.
No, I mean, you can say it, but that's not what I'm looking for.
There's only one path to piece of your extinction is James Spader as Ultron.
Oh.
Yes, in Avengers, age of Ultron.
Yes.
Age of Ultron came right after the age of innocence.
Yes.
According to Edith Wharton.
Okay, we're going to start again.
We can cut all this out.
Kevin?
Please do.
This is embarrassing.
I think you're going to get this one.
Okay, okay.
All right, here we go.
I am inevitable.
Ever inevitable.
Okay, is that Thanos?
Yes, it is.
Yes, it is.
Everybody snap.
Everybody snap.
I'm keeping my Comic-Con badge now.
I got Thanos.
Yeah, they'll let you in now,
because you knew that.
Kevin is on the board.
You're go, you're up.
This is your only opportunity to tie the score with Kevin.
So let's see if you can do it.
Superman, we finally meet.
Would you like a coffee?
Superman, we finally meet.
Would you like a coffee?
I'm going to go Lex Luther?
That is correct.
Which one? Which one?
Oh, fuck.
You don't have to know.
I just said the character or the actor.
I think it's Kevin Spacey from the turn.
It's Jesse Eisenberg, you schmuck.
Woo!
No, but you still got the point.
It's cool.
It is funny that in all of the comic book movies
that Lex Luthor is the ones offering somebody coffee.
Like that, he's usually pretty polite like that.
Like, he's usually helping somebody out.
to have a beverage.
All right, so Yorga got that one right.
And now it's a tie between Kevin and Yorgo.
So Chris, sit this one out.
Thank you.
That was adorable.
That was really, they were really sad for you.
They were really thought you were like
we're gonna execute yours.
Like this isn't a hunger games.
He leaves unhurt.
physically
physically
but so it comes down to this though
Kevin if you get this one
correct you you win
if you're go if you don't
your go is our winner
are you ready
I'm ready
alright here we go
what are you looking at
butthead
oh it's fucking
Bif Tannen
it's fucking Bif Tannen
Thomas J. Wilson
back to the future
I saw
that movie opening weekend at the
Cedarama Dome and they just announced it's going
to reopen next year.
Yay!
And Kevin wins that game,
but he's not the winner
overall just yet.
We're going to find out what happens
after this. We'll be right back.
We're back.
That was a very emotional break.
I'm glad we all got through it
and ADS.
Our final game today
is called the little search engine that could.
Should I groan on behalf of Sam Levine?
Sam Levine, he gets really chuffed.
He gets very upset about this game.
He hates that one.
It is, it is, it's tricky.
It's like being on Family Feud
because you just don't know what kind of weird-ass answers
are going to come up in the top 10.
I typed a word into this search engine.
on IMDB today.
And then I wrote down the top 10 movies that have that word in the title.
My three guests on stage are going to take turns guessing movies that they think might
have landed in the top 10 with that word.
Starting with Kevin, then we go to Chris, then we go to Yorgo, and back around like that.
They each get three guesses total.
at any point, even on your first guest,
you can go to the person you're playing on behalf of
is your lifeline, and you can ask them to help out.
A lot of people ask them to help out too late
when all the good titles have been taken.
And this is a crazy one, because there's Deadpool and Wolverine,
and Batman and Robin and Ant Man and the Wasp.
Here at Comic-Con, we are used to the word and in titles.
Yeah, one of the top ten movies according to the IMDB algorithm that have the word and in the title.
I have to ask a question.
Please ask a question.
Does Amper San count?
Thank you.
I think it might, yeah.
I think an ampersand is also an ant.
So Tristan and I sold
is on the table.
That's an example, but you can't
it's not your turn. I'm sorry.
I'm sure it's number one.
You shouldn't do that.
I burned it, I'm sorry.
It'd be funny if you'd ever be
funny if you'd see a category like it says
Oscars and you go, oh, that's
probably Marlon Brando.
What is probably
Marlon Brando? I'm sorry, I phrased it
All right, here we go.
Kevin Kraft, name a movie with the word and in the title.
Do you think someone would be searching for,
wondering about looking up on IMDB today?
Damn it, I know your gimmick.
I know there's like an obvious one that's like,
in the zeitgeist of the moment,
and I can't think of it.
and I'm fucking bummed out.
You might, you know, you might have it on your second round.
You know, you get three guesses total.
I'm going to go to my lifeline then.
Oh, right off the fucking back.
Oh, start off with your lifeline.
Now, they'll tell you a title, and then you can use it or reject it,
but they only get to give you one.
Okay.
And who is your lifeline?
Veronica, is that your name?
Veronica, yes.
Veronica, yes.
Do you have an answer for him, Veronica?
Pride and prejudice.
And zombies?
Or the OG?
Which one are we going with?
She's going P&P.
Pride and prejudice.
All right, I'll go with her.
Which are two of my favorite months of the year.
I celebrate Pride month and I fucking go nuts on prejudice month.
That is aggressive.
I'll go with pride and prejudice.
You know, you can't beat a classic.
I'm sure somebody's looking for that.
Okay, that's not on the list.
Fucking shit!
That didn't quite, that didn't make it.
It was good, good try.
It was better than anything I would have guessed.
Anything?
All the movies with and in the title?
All right, well, try to think about it some more, Kevin.
come back to you.
I thought you were a strong player.
I blew it all winning the first two games.
Now I'm fucking tapped out.
Yeah, your load is gone.
I didn't know that you noticed, but yes.
His first load, now there's going to be a second coming.
Oh, shit.
Okay, so Chris, your first guess.
Or do you want to go on your lifeline?
No, I'm going to guess.
I'm going to go film a lot of life line.
Louis. Oh man.
I love that movie.
Top three Ridley Scots for me.
Yeah. You heard it. You heard me.
A lot of men would probably disagree.
But it's not on the list.
I know. This is tough.
This is like when you're on family feud
and you're trying to guess these answers.
And the people they pulled are insane.
Like, all they want to do is say,
whoopee.
You know, all they want to do is make it dirty.
Melons, that's what they want to say.
Which state has the most illegal activity,
and then the personal yell out.
Melons.
Yorgo, do you have a first guess?
Yeah, Evers, I'm going to go to you on the next round.
I'm going to go, Mandalay.
and Grogu. That's it.
Full title? The
Mandalorian and Grogu. Star Wars
Colan
The Mandalorian and Grogu.
That is the correct
title. Okay. Let's see where it landed on the
list. I know it's on there. It's number four.
I didn't explain the points earlier.
The number one movie's worth ten points and the number
ten movies worth one point. And number four, in this case,
is worth seven points for your
So he's taking a seven-point lead over Kevin and Chris, I think their names are.
And Kevin is up next with his second guess.
He already so wisely used his lifeline.
Yeah.
Because get the wrong answers out of the way.
Toss them aside.
But this is tough, I will agree.
Since ampersands count.
Yes, they do.
And we did mention Sylvester Stallone.
I'll go with Tango and Cash.
Tango and Cash, one of the best ampersands.
One of the best ands.
Like, it's just classic.
It's in a tenacious D song.
Very fun explosions.
There's a lot happening in that movie.
They drive a very cool vehicle.
It's, you know, it's good for Comic-Con.
You know, they like stuff like that.
So how many points do I get?
No points.
No points.
No points whatsoever.
This game doesn't have negative points, but I'm rethinking it.
Challenge. Can I challenge?
How does that work?
I don't know.
Ref?
No, I don't think it's in there.
But, you know, it's probably close, close.
There's so many movies with and in the title.
And I think that Tango and Cash, as much as a lot of us love it,
None of those people being me, but a lot of us love it.
But I don't know if the kids are watching it.
You know what I mean?
Are the kids going, did Terry Hatcher from Desperous Housewives do a buddy cop movie?
I want to see that.
I don't think that conversation is happening.
And that's the problem with the youth today.
Yes.
She was the lady in that, though, right?
Yeah, yeah.
I was just proud of myself for remembering.
All right, Chris, what's your second guest?
I may be making this up because I may not be remembering right,
but wasn't there a Sex and the City movie called And Just Like That?
No, that was the TV show.
Yeah.
But wasn't it released theatrically?
No, I don't know.
No, there was just recently a TV series.
The movies were Sex and the City and Sex in the City to Fuck Right.
Yeah.
That's why I be a terrible improviser.
I was like, I'll make up a fun
a fun thing to say after the colon.
Sex and the C2, fuck right.
It's more about Samantha than the others.
Well, in that case...
But anyway, what's your answer?
My answer is I'd like to go to my lifeline now.
Okay.
Where's your lifeline?
I like it.
Romie and Michelle's hygiene.
School Reunion is not on the list.
Still a good guess.
Yeah, it's so good.
Good movie, too.
They invented Post-it.
This is exciting.
Didn't we get used to it while watching World Cup soccer?
It's exciting that nobody is scoring.
It's really suspenseful when nobody scores.
It's like, what the fuck is going to happen?
Are we going to do two 15 minutes sections?
of overtime with a
hydration break in between?
Are we gonna
result in a, what's the final thing they do
a kickoff? Penalty kicks.
Penalty kicks.
They should have the Rockettes
run out and do penalty kicks.
Do a whole penalty kicks
number. Is it your turn, Kevin?
No. No. You are a ghost.
Why? What was your last guess?
it was something that got me 10 points I remember that
it was a big big point
so we're back to Chris
no I
you're gonna
yes we are back to me
as a matter of fact
yeah I'm gonna do sex to city turn
what's your second guess
my second guess
Everest we're gonna wait one more time
oh
Avatar Fire and Ice is the suggestion
from his life
oh whoa
who goes by the name Everest
That's a powerful ampersand.
I know, I know, and that's pretty good Everest.
I'm worried I'm going to burn the thing that I'm thinking of.
Oh, so you're going to reject?
No, I'm going to...
You got a thing you thought of it?
I'm going to believe in Everest, which that is not his name, but I'm going to call him that anyway.
It's Everett. We all know it's Everett.
Everett.
Like the town in Washington, obviously.
But there's no goddamn movie called Everett.
Yeah.
There's a TV show called Evermore.
What a poll.
I'm going to do Avatar Fire and Ash.
You're going with Everest.
Yes.
It is.
Ever two on the list.
Let's go.
You trust in people.
If your name was K2, it wouldn't have worked.
I'm happy.
We have Everest.
All right.
We have one round left to go.
So Yorgo is the winner.
Because Chris and Kevin can't possibly catch up.
But it's still fun to play it out.
So Kevin, what's your next?
Let's put some points on the board, Kevin.
I know.
I got a safe face.
Every answer you've given has had the word and in it.
Right?
I'm playing by the rules.
Yeah, there's no reason.
You're not sitting over there going,
oh, something wicked is where it comes?
No.
You're saying movies that have the word and in them.
It's just not working.
I mean, is it,
is the full title end, The Odyssey?
I mean, look, you said it,
and it discouraged me,
because why would you give away a fucking point getter?
but I got to try
Deadpool and Wolverine
that's a popular movie
they just announced they're doing another Deadpool
they're going to do fourth one
that's the thing Kevin
that I like to mix it up
sometimes I'll reveal answers
while describing what the game is
and other times like tonight
I won't
or or or
I know how these games work
is there a movie that's just called and
and
Is that your final answer?
Yeah, Deadblown Wolverine.
Give me the fucking third goose egg.
Let's just get it over with...
Yeah, no, I'm telling you,
it takes almost as much skill
to miss every time
than what Yorgo is doing
by getting ones that are very high up on the list.
It really is impressive
and unfortunately Deadpool and Wolverine,
I used it as an example because it is not...
It is not in the top ten.
I was right in your same boat, too.
I thought he was being sneaky.
I was being snaked.
Chris, what's your third and final?
I'm going to go with Fast and Furious.
Fuck, there's a bunch of those.
But really, it's just the same movie.
It's about family.
How many...
Who's excited about the fast and furious roller coaster at Universal?
What you're doing right now is why that roller coaster might not open.
People that live near that roller coaster are like, what the fuck?
They're like, people are going to be screaming day and night on this roller coaster.
They tried to put barriers, you know, to try to lessen the noise,
but apparently people in the neighborhood are like not happy.
So that's why they won't announce an opening day
because they've got to figure that out.
So my point is it either might never open
or they might turn it into an underground roller coaster.
You know, you'll go inside the hill that it's on
instead of just on it.
As you're getting on the ride,
they just stuff a sock in your mouth.
Every single person that gets on.
And then when it caves in on people inevitably,
they'll make a movie about that disaster.
Yes.
Liz Gleafel will sing the song.
Yeah, that'll be fun.
What was your answer, Chris?
Fast and Furious.
No.
No, it's not on there.
What?
I know.
Try Tokyo Drift.
Okay.
Fast and Furious Tokyo Dr.
Let me answer that into the computer.
Yorgo, do you want to rub this in?
and get even more points.
Well, what's funny is, I thought of your answer.
And then I was like, there's no fucking way it's on there.
The ampersand one.
Good call.
Because there's another one that doesn't have an ampersand.
That's the first one.
That would make a lot of sense.
But I'm going to go Indiana Jones in the last crusade.
Did you ever use your lifelight?
Yes.
I got fire and ice.
Oh, right.
Yes.
Oh, that was good.
Yes.
He loves Bahrain.
really good. He's so into Vering.
You picked the right person
because they really
propelled you to victory.
Because if his answer, if you
didn't get his answer, you would have
won 4 to 0 instead of
13
to 0.
But I am
sad to say that this particular
I don't think any Indiana
Jones, except
for Raiders, the end is in every
title of Indiana Jones and
and none of them made the top ten of this list.
So are there Harry Potter's on there?
I'll tell you in a second.
Okay, you're right. I'm sorry.
But first, let's say, congratulations.
Yorgo is our winner.
Let's go.
Woo!
Everest.
Yeah.
And while the listeners patiently wait to hear
what fucking movies were on that list,
Yorgo, you get to do your plugs.
What would you like to promote?
Oh, okay.
I would like to promote my, well, yeah, the Malta thing, Popeye's Village.
I have a story of many documentary at Tablet Hotels if you want to go check that out.
And keep an eye out if you can follow me on all social media at Yorgo, spelled obnoxiously.
Y-O-U-R-U-R-E-A-U-X.
Okay.
Like New Orleans.
G-E-A-U-X.
It's very obnoxious.
Yorg-G-G-A.
Yes, Yorg.
Follow me for there for the announcements on when troll my documentary about Total Request Live and MTV and online trolling comes out.
I'm very excited to announce it in the future.
Right on.
Everett, who should I call a shithead at the end of the show?
That was wrong.
Okay.
How creative of you, Everett.
But, you know, it's important.
Okay, so we'll get everybody else's plugs in a second
But I got to tell you what's on this damn list
Because it's you know
Like I said, I looked it up today
So this is things people are looking for on IMDB today
That have the word and in them
So number 10 was some old ass Michael Douglas
Diane Keat movie called And So It Goes
What the fuck?
I don't know why people were looking for
for that.
More than Deadpool and Wolverine.
I apologize.
It's not number 10.
It's number 8.
Number 10.
Number 10 was a movie from
2026 called 40 dates and 40 nights.
From 2020?
Yeah, and 40 STDs.
Oh.
No, I don't know what the hell
was going on in that movie.
From 2026, yeah.
Oh, that's Anne Hache.
No, it isn't.
Yeah, isn't it?
Harrison Ford and Ann Hage?
Six days, seven nights or whatever.
40 days and 40 nights is it.
Josh Hartnett, but I thought that came out in the early.
No, this is 40 dates.
That was the Adam Sandler movie where he kept dating the same girl over there.
Doug, does this movie exist?
Is this real?
This is like talking to your grandparents about movies.
Number nine was, of course, people are looking at up right now,
jackass, best and final.
Oh, and fine.
I know.
A little and in there.
And so it goes.
And then number seven, Al Pacino
Classic called End Justice for All.
Oh.
Yeah.
This whole court's out of order.
Yeah.
And then you were on the right track,
Yorgo, with number six is Harry Potter
and the Sorcerer Stone.
Oh.
The only Harry Potter entry to make the list.
The list is woke.
And then number five,
this is what nobody would have ever got.
I forgot that this is what this thing was called.
The Hunger Games, the ballad of songbirds and snakes.
Yeah.
Oh, fuck.
There was a Hunger Games prequel, and they have that long-ass title.
I should use that on Live, Die, Repeat.
And then we had Manilareen and Grogu.
Number three, because it's just, it's in theaters right now,
so people are looking up.
Gail Daughtry and the celebrity
sex pass.
And then number two was Avatar Fire and Ice.
And number one,
big hit movie that's out right now.
Monsters and Minions.
Fuck, there it is. That's the one.
Minions and monsters. I fucked it out.
Please don't sue me. Don't sue me.
Big movie studio.
But anyway, that's the rest of the answers.
Let's hear it for Chris and Kevin
for giving it the old college try
so many good wrong answers
and Kevin do you regret that the second coming
of John Cooper does not have the word and in it
I knew I fucked up somewhere

Yeah, it's, you know, an independent R-rated comedy.
You know, they don't get a lot of love.
And I'm a shameless independent filmmaker.

So if you want to get me a present, rent my movie.
Please, yes.
I'll go there.
I will go there.
Please, rent my movie.
Now, it won't be your birthday anymore.
It'll be a week past when people are listening to this.
But still, pretend it's his birthday and do it.
And everybody here tonight go do it.
You could do it right on your phone, right?
You can just do it?

Tip the Wade staff, and one more time for my guests on stage,
