Hey buddy, you know those pieces in your closet
that you find yourself wearing on repeat.
I certainly do.
The sweater that goes with everything,
the perfect pair of pants,
or the tea you somehow always reach for first.
These are the pieces that make getting dressed easy,
and that's what Quince does best.
Mitch, I love Quince.
Well, I love Quince, too.

Mitch, you know, I've talked up the beanie I've gotten from
Quince a number of times. So we don't want to talk about something else.
I got myself one of them Mongolian cashmere sweaters,
the aforementioned cashmere.
Delight. Just so stylish.
fits me so well. They're good quality.
They've got a good feel to them.
And, you know, it's so much better than you'd expect at that price point.
Wags, I got something of a Marino wool sweater.
And I'm not sure if it comes from the Marino family.
But I'm like it.
It's nice and soft.
I like it, Wags.
And look, it's not just clothing.
Quince brings that same approach to everything they make from hotel quality bedding and bath to kitchen essentials and thoughtfully designed furniture.

Wow.
The world will never know the true facts of what occurred,
my motives, the people who had so much to gain
and had such an ulterior motive for putting me in the position I'm in,
we'll never let the true facts come above board to the world.
These still haunting words were spoken in a 1965 press conference by the man
alleged to have assassinated an alleged assassin, Jack Ruby.
Two years earlier, as Lee Harvey Oswald, the man accused of having killed JFK,
was being transported through the basement of the Dallas Police Department,
Ruby gutshot him with a 38 Colt Cobra at point-blank range.
Oswald died in the hospital later that day.
The shocking shooting was broadcast on live television and fueled the conspiratorial fire surrounding the cover-up of Kennedy's murder.
Ruby's close connections to both the Dallas Police Department and the Mafia, via his ownership of Dallas-area strip clubs,
further added intrigue for those who suspected a cover-up.
But Ruby wasn't the only Jack who's been involved in suspicious dealings.
In 2021, when the crisis of the day wasn't assassinations, but COVID, which thankfully never birthed any conspiracies,
San Diego founded Jack in the Box acquired a fellow SoCal fast food chain.
That chain was founded in 1964, the year after the JFK assassination,
as the Spanish translation of House of the Taco,
by three men, including Dick Noggle.
At first, it seemed this new Jack-in-the-box Mexican Chain Alliance might boost both brands.
But instead, just four years later, the Taco House got flipped like a house,
as Jack-in-the-box resold it to Yadavre enterprises,
a franchising company that manages hundreds of locations of Jack in the Box.
In effect, Jack in the Box was selling itself to itself, while also paying itself rent.
One must ask, Brian Wintor style, why would Jack in the Box do that?
Also, how did Dick Noggle's solo spin-off chain Nogles rise from the dead in 2015 after permac closing 20 years earlier?
We may never unravel this tangled late capitalist web.
To further echo the ominous words of Jumbo Jack Ruby,
Everything pertaining to what's happening has never come to the surface.
This week on Do Boys, we return once again to Del Taco.
Welcome to Do Boys, the podcast about chain restaurants.
I'm Nick Tiger Weiger, along with my co-host, Agamem Nom, Nom, Nom.
Okay.
The spoon man, Mike Mitchell.
Wyggs, how are you?
Mitch, I'm doing great.
Tomorrow 9-11 can rent a car.
wild to think about a quarter century after a quarter century since 9-11 the day we were on 9-11 eve yeah i love that
right before we started recording like literally as the theme song started so everyone can have the time
you know the timestamp uh Emma said this episode will air on September 10th and I said wow the
we said the eve of 9-11 and I said yes it'll be 25 and then you thought about what 25 means
for the entire theme song
and then had that locked and loaded.
That's great.
You used to think in time.
I mean, I thought so.
But it's a good pull because I was like,
what does 25 mean?
And I was thinking like, what's the anniversary
for 25?
Like silver or whatever?
I don't know.
But renting a car, yeah.
Renting a car.
That is it, right?
You can rent a car.
You can rent a car.
You can rent a car.
It's crazy to think that Steve rent as easy
would be 53 today.
But.
Rest in power.
Two years from now, 9-11 can run for Congress?
I think it's, yeah, is it 25 or?
I think it's 25.
Oh, it's 25.
I think it's 25 of Congress, 30 Senate 35 presidency.
Oh, wow.
The way things are going, you know 9-11's going to get elected into office.
That's exactly what our country would do.
100%.
Americans are stupid enough to make 9-11 the president.
Get ready for your new secretary of Homeland Security, September 11th.
I know there was another Odyssey roast the other week,
but I thought of this one,
and my boyfriend said this was more clever.
Love the show.
Thanks so much for coming to Des Moines earlier this year with Paul Rust,
the great Paul Rust.
Lastly, Mitch, eat shit.
The Sixers got Jalen Brown and LeBron.
Have fun with pulled pork George.
Oh, that was clunky.
Another food pun.
Thanks for the laughs.
PJ.
Also shout out to Scott L.
who submitted a similar roast, Aga Nom Nom.
People got Odyssey on the brain.
PJ.
I can't thank you for the laughs.
Is BJ from Philly?
I don't know.
It's a, in, they are in Des Moines.
They're in Des Moines.
They're at the Des Moines show, but it does not say whether or not they live in Des Moines.
So why is he telling me to eat shit?
I mean, he must be a Sixers fan.
Well, that is also very, and you're a Sixers fan.
Of course.
But that is very.
Huge Sixers fan, yeah.
They got, who is it?
That makes me angry.
I did just learn Sixers lore, though, that I completely.
had forgotten about that or just never knew. Do you guys remember the old Sixers mascot? Why would
you if I did it? Was this the, this was the, um, no, the dog is current. The dog's a current
mask. Yeah. They had a, uh, very scary, yeah, Franklin, right? They had a very scary, uh, bunny
named hip hop, uh, who I was, I'll go ahead and say is problematic. He was like the mascot in
like the early 2000s and I just looked him up and he kind of looks like if the Donnie Darko rabbit, um,
was dressing offensively.
I have no memory of this bunny.
Yeah, anyway, sorry.
He's been killed off.
I guess they were like, okay, we're going to retire him.
He's like too weird.
It's also funny that you don't know anything about the six years,
but then are pulling the 2000 weird bunny that maybe no one remembers.
I literally just learned about it.
Anyway, sorry, PJ.
I'm thinking through the timeline, he could have been on one of the planes.
Oh, good point.
That's a good point.
Wow, yeah, he's one of the slides.
PJ, we've missed you the last 25 years.
We're sorry you're gone.
No, PJs, PJs who submitted the roast.
Oh, okay.
Hip hop is the...
Oh, hip hop is his name.
Yeah, it was a really muscular rabbit named PJ.
Roast at Burbank.
If you do go to, if you went to the 9-11 Memorial and hip-hop was listed.
We can't even say that.
I'm sorry.
He can't say that.
What can't you say that?
It's too, I feel bad.
That's bad.
I feel bad for laughing.
Plus, you're going to inspire Doughboys fans to go etch it in.
Oh, God.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
New Metal kind of died at 9-11, not hip-hop.
Was that the end of new metal?
I think, yeah.
Mitch, we're more grillers than thrillers.
But like all good thrillers,
grillers to benefit from a ticking clock, which we have this episode,
as people may have infer-
Can you just turn back that clock?
What the fuck are you talking about?
grillers are thrillers? What?
Thrillers benefit from a ticking clock.
Our guest is a screenwriter.
Yes. And we're grillers.
We're grillers. We also benefit from a ticking clock, which we have today, because if people
are watching the video feed, you may have noticed this American Cinema Tech hat.
I'm going somewhere with this.
Are you saying like we are our grill, like grilling has a ticking clock because you don't
want to overcook it? Is that what you're saying to?
We're not a thriller. We're a griller. That's what I'm saying.
Okay.
I'm glad we're digging into this.
That's your, keep my last joke in.
Our genre is more griller than thriller, is what I'm saying.
Yeah.
And we also benefit similarly from a ticking clock.
That's something that the bend diagram of both, it's to our benefit.
I love that I was kind of in my head about like, have I interrupted the intro too much and gotten us off the rails by talking about hip hop?
No, you have not.
This is kind of the way it goes.
Here's where I was going with this.
You remember, you were here not, actually, you, can I, can I, can I say, oh, you, you were going somewhere.
It's fine.
The last time, the last time you were, the last time you were, can I, can I, can I, can I, can I, can I, can I, can I,
you are now, you're a mother, you are our mother.
You, you, you're, the last time you're here, you were with child.
Yes, last time I was here, I was pregnant, but I said nothing.
We've had, well, I, I, told us.
I was, I told you, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I would say, and I'm not, I'm not, I'm not inviting anyone to be a reddy detective here, but you
Go back and look at her belly on the last episode.
You were not the only guest who has been pregnant and told us off mic and then not mentioned it on the podcast.
Wow.
So, you know, we've had that happen a few times.
Oh, my gosh.
Wow.
Just people, just the biggest losers in the world rushing to examine your people.
Doing the map.
There could be some junior scenarios.
Juniors.
What are the?
Junior Arnold Schwarzenegger movie where he had a baby.
Oh, sure.
Oh, yeah, yeah, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, yeah.
Zianzel, you look great.
Oh, my gosh.
No one would have to, no one, how, how, how, well, you got to get into your thing.
Sorry, we're, go where you're.
We've got to figure out why grillers are on a clock.
Yes.
Like I mentioned, we're less a thriller, more a griller, but we also benefit from a ticking clock.
We have a ticking clock today.
And I'm glad we're keeping things tight because we have to be out of here in time to make it to our screening at the American Cinema Tech.
We're going to be screening in and out tonight.
So if you're listening this episode in the future and you would,
attended the in-and-out screening in the past, and it started late, that means we fucked up.
That means this episode went too long.
So we're just putting that out there.
That's our, that's accountability in advance.
That's, that's good point, Wags.
Yeah.
This is like tenant.
It's a tenant.
It's a tenant.
It is a tenant.
It is a tenant.
Yeah.
In-and-out and then-end-in-in-in-in-a-thriller.
We're more of a griller.
Oh, my God.
As you're listening to this on 9-11 Eve, get into bed early.
hang your stockings
Mitch I got our
upholstery and carpets
clean this morning at our apartment
Has anyone ever done this ever getting your
upholstery cleaned? I really want to
but I'm also scared that it's gonna
I rented a machine once and did it myself
Yeah well that's very Emma
Psychotic
We had a guy
I can't even think of the biohazards in that fucking tank
That that guy cleaned up on your couch and your rug
We had a guy come in
You said that there was more gunk than you expected
This is a true quote from you.
First off, it's transformative, and it makes me feel like I've been living in squalor.
Now, I fancy myself a tidy guy.
I think I'm pretty hygienic.
I will say I am known as spillmonger.
I'd spill more than anyone.
And my secret shame is that my dining room chair was like the filthiest thing in our apartment.
It was so stained.
There were just so many food stains from spills over the years.
And others.
I wasn't jacking off in there.
There's no protein stains.
Poop.
I didn't ship myself a few times with the chair.
I'm going to show maybe just Mitch a photo because I might be too self-conscious otherwise.
I'm going to show you before and after photo.
Let me go ahead and get these set up for you.
So they're sequential.
This is the thing that's keeping me from getting our couch cleaned as I'm scared of the after photo.
It's fucking crazy.
Well, like things like the couch or whatever just like it was a completely different color.
And, you know, they cleaned the carpets in the process.
Shout out, Igor, an absolute champ, just a total pro's pro.
When I did my carpets in my house, I have a small white carpet, and I was like, this carpet can't for sure be that dirty.
I can see it.
It's white.
And then it was just like bucket after a bucket of blackwater.
And I was like, how?
Isn't that fucking crazy?
How the fuck?
I don't understand it at all.
It blew my mind.
Yeah.
All right.
I'm sure.
Igor found a new job after everything went sideways with Dr. Frankenstein.
Is that who owns Igor?
Who owns Igor?
All right.
Sorry.
Is that who employs Igor?
It's not an indent servant.
I don't serve.
Is that who employs?
I guess does Igor have a job?
Like, does Igor feel out a...
Or you think he's doing it for fun?
Yeah, is he on the payroll?
He probably gets health insurance from Dr. Frankenstein.
I'm sure.
Yeah.
Although he also has a very bad hump.
He's got a very bad hump.
Yeah.
It's not like a, you know, a Cadillac plan.
Anyway, I'm going to show you the before first, and then you can swipe to the after.
Or I'm sure, I said that backwards.
I just pulled a fucking tenant.
I'm going to do a tenant with a photo album.
I'm going to show you the after first and then the before after.
Just give me the fucking phone.
After before, before, before after.
Give me the phone.
Before is the after and the after is the after.
This is the after.
That's the after photo.
Then swipe to the before.
Left or right.
I think it's left.
Thank you for angling it specifically away from me.
Isn't that insane how dirty that was?
It went from a glazed donut to an old-fashioned.
It actually, can I be honest with you?
Yeah.
It makes me lose respect for you.
I think that's why I'm only showing it.
to you.
I think you should show DeAngel, and I think that her reaction, you think you should.
Okay, show it to the actual.
It's just funny.
Okay.
Can I, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's the after.
It looks like a new chair.
That's the after.
It's so bad.
Isn't that crazy how dirty that was?
It looks like you killed something.
I want to lose respect for him.
I thought it was going to be like more like, yeah.
Get over here, meals.
It's a lot of like, can we show them to?
Why not?
Yeah, show everyone.
It's like a lot of oil stains and some wine stains and stuff.
That's the after.
This is the after.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, this is the after.
Yeah, this is the after.
Just a second.
Oh, my dad!
But is it crazy?
Because I was like, I was like, I'm going to...
It's a different color.
It's a different color.
It's also just like so many visible stains.
I know.
Ecor is a magic worker.
I know.
That looks like a completely new chair.
Also, you're not, you're not a tidy fellow.
I have to, I have to protest against them.
Do you think these chairs were white when we started?
You think I'm not a tidy fellow?
How dare you?
You are a tidy fellow.
But that chair is gruesome.
That's the one.
thing in our place that was like that.
Like, so like, the couch and everything else
were like, like, needed a cleaning, but it was more just
like, oh, this is a different shade now. But, but
that chair was like fucking wild.
I'm impressed how much you think at your dining room table.
I think so much on my couch.
I know. Yeah, I really am kind of fixed there.
That is my one place I like to dine
in the dining room. Let's be honest. That's the only chair
in Natalie last you sit in the house.
You know your chair. You're just carrying it around from room
to room.
We currently have no dining table or chair.
Wow.
We got rid of it for the baby.
Oh, my God.
Wow.
We had to make our dining room into her, like, play area.
That's cute, though.
Yeah, it's very cute.
But, yeah, we're eating on tray tables in our living room.
And then it'll turn back into a dining room at a certain point.
Yeah.
There you go.
My mom.
Stages of life.
My mom's coming out.
She now is already back.
Yeah.
So we're another tenant situation.
Another tenant situation.
Oh, wow, yeah.
By the way, we ate something for lunch today.
And let me tell you, not sitting.
the best. No, Emily and I both
took down tombs. I knew
what we were getting into, but... Wow, so we got
another ticket clock. We do.
And there's
going to be no tenant unless anyone's ever
seen a turd go up.
We already did this bit.
I know, I was literally going to be like, this, I've
heard this.
We did reverse tenet. We did reverse tenet.
Averse ten is when a turd does go up your
ass. All right, no wonder why it came back.
Well, it's not going to happen.
A reverse tentant is impossible.
Yeah, it's what I'm going to happen to say.
I am like, I'm starting to sweat a little bit.
Well, yeah, why don't you play your drop and we can get on with the episode.
Did Igor suck up the ghost with that vacuum or no, I'm hoping?
Or maybe after seeing that chair, maybe the spirit has been set free.
The ghost ascended.
That's what was keeping them there.
Honestly, maybe.
Yeah.
I mean.
Do you think that was ghost juice in that chair?
Is that what it was?
What ghost?
I saw a ghost.
In your house?
A seated ghost.
Twice, by the way.
A couple of times.
The first time was more like vibrant and vivid.
Although now that I've been having these really, you know, like tactile dreams, I have
these really intense dreams.
I'm wondering if it was like that kind of episode.
Oh.
Yeah.
But no, I saw a faceless ghost staring at me in the dark.
It could have been ectoplasm.
It could have been ectoplasm.
Maybe it was ectoplasm.
Were you scared at all?
No.
Because it didn't feel like it was threatened.
me. It felt like it was
trying to tell me something.
Cleek your chair.
You're the only
other person I know who, you're the only
person I know who would see a ghost and just
like, hi, like you wouldn't care.
That's insane. Everyone else I know would be like,
that was crazy and I'm scared.
You're the only one who's just like, oh, it was just
there. Yeah. That's a good guy
to have haunted, I guess. Yeah. I guess so. A faceless
non-judgmental, non-threatening person.
Great.
Non-gendermental. I don't know.
I mean, I don't know.
Okay, all right.
I'm a hit it with a drop.
Come here, baby.
I've never done this with the real live girl.
Grinding.
Get grinded on.
I'm grinding now.
I'm the grinder.
You're the grinder?
Yikes.
You were grinding.
I was just dancing a little bit.
Doing a little bit of this.
That wasn't grinding.
I'm gyrating.
I'm going from side to side.
It's just kind of like.
Hashtag grind time.
hashtag gyrate nation my underwear is getting all sticky the only grinders we're interested in are hoagies
and the app and the app jemmy's gowned yeah snored groaned i don't know what it was
hi i hope all is well this was inspired by a comment from normal name jason and the do scored
countropula i gotta say it was a good he did a good you did a good job well-constructed i'm always
impressed by the craftsmanship of our many droppers.
That seemed sincere.
It was sincere.
Thanks for sending in drops, drops at birdfuck.com.
And thanks to our guest for returning.
One of our favorites. A screenwriter whose many credits include
Hokas Pocus 2, Tolly Killer and Quiz Lady.
Jen D'Angelo is back. Hi, Jen.
Hey, thanks for having me. Thank you for being here.
We're excited to have you. I was saying, you're a mom.
Yes.
Oh, man, I might have to go to the bathroom.
I'm saying, your mom.
how were there cravings you had that have now gone away?
Great question.
That's a great question.
How was the relationship with food?
How has it changed since the baby's born?
So I did not have many crazy cravings.
I'm now very in my head about how you have to go to the bathroom.
Do you want to go while I'm on a log?
Honestly, maybe I should.
We have a ticking clock.
If you have to go to the bathroom, we maybe should not stop the episode down.
If they're going to see how long I'm gone, it's going to be like 12 minutes.
Okay, then we may stop down.
Do you need a bathroom room?
I'll go when I have to go.
Okay, okay.
Okay.
You don't have to tell me when to go.
I know that you have a child now, but I'm not going to do what Wags did to his chair.
No, it's going to be gone.
I didn't shit in the chair or jack off in it or even sit bare-assed.
You never jacked off at once.
I never jacked off at once.
You must have had a boner in it once.
I think I sat in my dining room chair with a boner.
Why would I have an erection there?
Maybe you thought of something.
A really good meal.
Yeah.
Something could have happened?
Do you ever sit on it bare ass?
No, I did not sit on it bare assed.
Yeah.
I don't sit on furniture bare assed.
You got to put a towel down, right?
Yeah.
Isn't that just common courtesy?
Yeah.
Your bed is different, but your bed has a sheet that you can wash.
Your bed is different.
Yeah, your bed is different.
You can sit up, but I do, I sit on the bed with a towel quite a bit.
I told this story.
Irma, Irma came up.
She kneeded into my towel.
I was going to Jason Walliner's show.
And I stood up and was bleeding heavily for my testicles.
My scrotum, I guess.
Your scrotum, yeah.
My scrotum.
Specifically your scrotum.
Leak and cum all over the place.
I do.
Yeah, that's it.
Ladies don't know this.
If you cut your scrotum, come leaks out.
I really.
I knew that this wasn't what you were going to say,
but I really was like, it popped into my brain
and I couldn't get it out,
that you were going to be like,
and then when I stood up, I had a bone.
And so, but I was like,
it's not going to be that,
but it's going to be something else,
but that,
needing heavily from your chesticles
to be what I thought is.
I think I also have told on this before,
but I woke up from a dream,
and Irma was kneading,
like right around where my crotch was,
and I was aroused.
But I wasn't over,
it wasn't over the cat.
I could go to the bathroom.
It wasn't over the cat.
First of all, it wasn't over the cat.
It wasn't over the cat.
We'll be right back with more dough boys.
All right.
Hey, buddy, we're back.
Jen, we were talking about your pregnancy cravings.
Yes.
And I didn't really have any.
Did you, but I think the second barrel of Mitch's two-barreled questions,
maybe you might have an answer for with a little more heft,
which is that, like, as a mom, how is your relationship to food changed, especially through the prison?
of you, you know, you want your child to be healthy.
Yeah, I mean, I, it definitely was very daunting when she, uh, was like starting solids.
And so it was no longer just like formula, uh, because it really is just like, you're like,
oh, damn, like, I have to like really get three square meals a day.
Right.
And I'm not usually a breakfast person.
And, you know, usually I'm like out and about and I'll like get lunch while I'm, like,
get lunch while I'm out. And so we're in a real grocery era, which we haven't really been in,
for a while. And it's kind of fun. It's a little, like, we've gotten into a groove. Now we've
got our, like, go-to, like, toddler-friendly meals that are relatively easy to do. And I'm loving
it, actually. Hey, there you go. I'm like, yeah, a fun little breakfast where I just have, like,
a little bit of what she's eating, like a very grazable breakfast spread. It's great.
It seems like it's kind of normalized your schedule, regimented you in some degree.
Yes, it has regimented me, which is great.
I guess at this point we should probably say for our audio listeners, Mitch is still not back.
I wasn't sure if we were just going to pretend like he was here and like cut to him.
You're watching the video.
Yeah, we get some inserts later.
Mitch characteristically a very quiet listener.
They're from different episodes, but he's wearing the same thing.
Yeah, so Mitch texted us from the bathroom to start the episode up, and he said it'll join us when he can.
He said, should I call it?
He said, this is a nightmare.
I don't want to hear his parts through the phone.
I do.
Let's call him.
Okay, calm.
We're trying to get Mitch on the phone right now.
I guess, Amelia, you're calling him through your phone.
Okay.
I'm so glad I'm here.
I'm glad you're here, too.
Hey, what's up?
It's Mike.
Can't come to the phone right now?
What the fuck?
I'll leave a message and I'll get back to you.
Thank you.
That's the cutest message ever.
That is cute.
That was really cute.
What if he was faking it and that meow sound was a fart?
He was faking it.
It was a voicemail.
And then squeaked out a cat-sounding fart.
Or we just believe that he wouldn't have that on his voicemail.
So we're like, our brains told us that it was a meow.
It just sounded echo, you know.
So I was like, maybe he's in the bathroom.
He was like really trying to pull it over.
Yeah.
He's like, oh, I answered my accident.
It's Mitch.
Let's talk about, because I want to talk about this with Mitch and Hulay and I'm sure when he can join us.
We had a Bucke de Beppo birthday party at Universal City Walk.
You invited both of us.
We had a lovely time.
What do you think about the city?
The City Walk has changed its security situation.
Yeah.
What was your reaction to that?
Because I think I've talked about on podcast of the ride.
I'm not sure if that episode's out yet.
I, first of all, I misunderstood what it was.
I, for some reason, thought that it was only for the movie theater.
I didn't realize, in retrospect, that's crazy.
But I'm like, yes, it's for the essential pre-theme park.
But it's so intense and feels so draconian.
Is that the right word?
And it really just makes me be like, what did Jack Bauer stop from happening?
Why did you all of a sudden, like, decide that this was necessary?
Yeah.
Because it's so crazy.
It is.
So for people who are not familiar with the, with citywalk, it is essentially an outdoor mall, an outdoor shopping center that is also a prelude to Universal, the theme park, much like downtown Disney, that sort of thing.
Previously, the security was only for the park proper.
They have now moved the security.
So to enter the mall, to enter the shopping center, you have to go through essentially TSA.
Yeah.
And it's degrading and it's security theater and it adds time to your visit.
And it makes it so that you have to walk.
There's only one way you can come in.
Yes.
So it's like a longer walk.
I believe there's two entrances, but there used to be multiple entrances.
Mitch is calling.
All right.
Mitch is calling now.
Hey.
Hey, Mitch.
How you doing?
Not good.
Okay.
What would you, what does that mean in our terms?
Do you want us to like, should we do a part two of this episode?
Should we reschedule?
What do you think?
No, no, no, no.
Keep going.
I'll be here.
Don't worry.
You're going to be back.
Yeah.
Can I stay out of all.
I'm not going to mute you guys.
Okay, sure.
Okay.
Oh, you just want to listen.
Okay, I get it.
I'm going to listen to the conversation.
I got to say your voicemail message has the same amount of echoey that you currently
have.
So did you record it in the head gun bathroom?
I do not.
No, look, I'm coming to you live from the headgum bathroom.
It's hot.
This is a nightmare.
Goodbye.
Bye.
Bye, Mitch.
Bye.
But he's still on the line.
Yeah, he's still on the line.
He's muted.
He's muted.
I'm going to say this, and I think he's going to have to stop himself from speaking because
We're, Mitch, we're talking about the universal security situation right now in the context of the Bucca de Beppo outing that we had with Jen for her birthday.
But that, the security sucks.
That aside, that was just the, like basically the, this is a little appetizer for the main course, which was a wonderful hang with two dozen lovely people.
It was very fun.
It also, it did allow for, when we were walking in, we ran into Gillian Betsy.
And so we all went through the security checkpoint together.
And Gilly had a gift bag with her.
And I had to watch her, like, talk to the security people to be like, this is a birthday present for her.
Can I, like, please bring this in?
And they were like, yeah, yeah, just put it through the conveyor belt.
And so I was like, what was it?
And then she showed it to me.
And it was because we went to go see the minions after Bukutapeno.
She had brought me a hat and glued a bunch of bananas to it.
And so I was like, it really contextualized sort of like how everyone was reacting to her and treating her in the security.
So, yeah, it just added a fun layer.
Another fun layer to this outing is that you had a feature of the dinner, which was you had the authority as the birthday girl to get everyone to switch seats.
And I really stand by that.
and highly recommend it.
It was I,
because yeah, so, you know,
I'm going to have to say some negative things about Bougatbo.
And I know that's,
you've done it before.
They,
so the way that we sort of came,
I was like,
I don't think I'm going to do anything for my birthday.
And then I was like,
okay,
you know what I am?
And I was like,
I'll do like a silly dinner in a movie.
So then I looked at what was coming,
I looked up what was coming out the weekend of my birthday.
And it was evil dead rise and live action Moana.
And I was like,
well, I'm not really interested in either of those.
Yeah, kind of an O for two.
Yeah.
But then I was like, oh, but Minions comes out the week before.
And then I looked at CityWalk, saw that there was 940 minions.
And I was like, I'm just going to do it and book tickets for everyone in my AMC entourage without asking as a gag.
So I did that.
And then we were going to do Margaritaville before, which we've done before.
And I then my husband Lucas was like, what if we got a private room of Bukita Beppo?
Because that just opened a city walk.
And I was like, that's amazing.
And yeah, so then we get this room of Bukadabopo.
They tell me, they asked me to confirm the headcount like so many times.
And I keep confirming it.
And then when we get there, they take us up to the room and there's just five individual tables completely separate from each other.
Not a private room in anybody's sense.
Yes.
Yeah.
It's like a semi-public space with foot traffic going.
And then also like we're not seated together.
We're not in like one big Batman table.
We're Mr. Burns table.
We're all like a scattered shot.
Yes.
And it's like, yeah, it would be as if you just went and had different meal.
Right.
You were just seated differently.
We're kind of atomized.
Yeah.
So then I was like, someone else suggested like, what if we all move around?
And I was like, that's great.
And so at the end of every course, everyone had to take their plate and their fork and their drink and find a different seat.
But it was great.
It really shook up the party.
I feel like positive reviews from everyone, I would say.
It was fun.
We met some new people.
I had some conversations.
You find these different spheres of like, oh, you're Northwestern people.
That's your connection.
I'm a comedy-adjacent person.
That's my connection.
There was someone who's working with Susser right now.
Right.
I was able to talk to you guys about Susser.
We met some doughboys fans among your crew, which was nice.
Big dough boys fans.
Don't know why.
We should talk because you mentioned your husband, Lucas, and I have this in my notes,
because I wanted to address something.
Lucas is still mad at me about the sousvied incident on one of your previous guest appearances.
I tried to explain my case.
I believe I did apologize if that was not sincere enough.
Lucas, I'm sorry.
I was not impugning your ability in the kitchen.
I just said, I think there is some risk of contamination when you're sous-eating if you don't know what you're doing.
If you, yeah, if you undercook the chicken.
That's what it's trying to do.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I'll go ahead and apologize because I feel like I just really made that feud happen.
I was like, this is a bit.
And I don't think either of you really enjoyed.
And possibly even understood a bit.
But yeah, so I'm glad we can put it all behind us.
No, I like having a longstanding beef with my friend's husband, who I kind of know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I would love to have some kind of beep with Natalie, who I've never met.
Yeah, we can set that up.
Okay, great.
I'll figure something out.
Okay, so your name is Italian, correct?
Yes.
I'm sure I've asked you this in the point.
What's going on?
What is happening?
I'm almost done.
I'm coming.
Okay, great.
Oh, nice.
Make sure you wipe enough, my dad.
Make sure you wipe until there's no more brown, okay, Michael?
Are you pretending to be my mom?
This is really fitting since we're talking about my birthday.
Because it was Bougu Dibbo and then we went to go see Minutes and Monsters.
And because Bougu de Bepo, the service was so bad and insane, and they kind of got a lot of stuff wrong.
And also, it wasn't a great plan to begin with for, anyway, we were 20 minutes to play to the movie.
The plan would have been fine.
20 minutes late, I should say, in the sense of like not accounting for the AMC 25 minutes of trailers, which I say, that had already elapsed.
So then it was another 20 minutes.
And me as a minions fan, I was like, I don't want to miss the first quarter of these movies that are famously snug.
And I'm glad I didn't.
I went and saw it at a later occasion.
I absolutely loved it.
My favorite in the franchise, number one.
But anyway, minions and monsters, I was one of the people who left at that point.
So I was just there for the dinner.
for the weird, extremely long dinner where, like, they'd bring out, like, one person's drink and then 20 minutes would pass, even though we all ordered together. It was just, I try to never blame the workers. I'm sure they were just understaffed and mismanaged.
But it was a, it was not a fun experience.
No, it was crazy.
Well, no, it was a very fun experience.
Yeah, yeah.
It was also crazy because I was like, okay, it's a two-hour block and they were very serious about, like, it's two hours.
More than enough time for even a big meal.
Put out a bunch of slap of pasta.
Give us a big bowl of slop.
Just let us have it at it.
Right.
But yeah, so it was just, and every time they brought out food also, again, they sat us how they sat us.
They set up five different tables or whatever.
And they would bring out food and then just tell me they would be like, by the way, this isn't enough.
And I was just like, and they were like, we only have like three plates of Caesar salad and you've got five tables.
Yeah.
Figure it out.
And I was just like, what?
And then I kept telling them like, hey, we've got to go.
So can we just get the rest of it now?
We don't have to space it out.
And they'd just be like, yeah, yeah, yeah, totally, totally.
And then they disappear and not come back.
Anyway, so we were 20 minutes late to the movie.
So 40 minutes late to the showtime.
And it was just very funny to me because I was like,
when Mitch and I saw the last Minions movie together in New Orleans,
Mitch missed 20 minutes of it because he was in the bathroom.
So it's only fitting for him to not.
not, again, you know, missed another 20 minutes of a venues movie, but then also to miss
potentially 20 minutes.
But don't what's your word?
This is poetic.
I was like, because we, Bukitabo's version of Italian food, it's degraded over time.
I've had it when it was better.
Even in the course of this podcast, it's degraded, noticeably.
But I mean, like, is, I have to imagine it as, as an Italian American from a city with a big
Italian diaspora population, there's great Italian food that you're used.
do.
Yeah.
And it's also like, I mean, not to sell out my heritage.
But I'm also just kind of like, how hard is it to just like have a good red sauce and just like have a real simple spaghetti and meatball?
Yeah.
Like how like it just seems like the kind of thing that you can't mess up even if you are in like insane psycho Robert Earl cost cutting mode.
Yes.
But they really did.
It's really bad.
It's a bummer.
It was really a.
the service was chaotic and the food was below subpar.
I'd say barely edible.
And like the point where like the salmon they brought,
I was just like, I'm not going to risk this.
Nobody ate the salmon, which I was like, and that's why.
And I feel foolish for ordering it.
My other favorite thing was that they brought out the dessert course.
Again, not enough for everybody.
They were like, here's like three pieces of cheesecake and like one tiramisu.
And then they lit a three-pronged candelabra and put that in front of me as like birthday candles, which was very funny.
And then everybody sang happy birthday and the staff, I think, weren't expecting that.
And they were about to sing their Bucca DiBepo happy birthday specific song.
But then they had to stand there while everyone sang actual happy birthday to me.
And then when it was over, they did their Bucca Depepo birthday song, which was literally in my memory just them being like,
Fettuccini, Alfredo, spaghetti, marinera.
They just list a bunch of dishes.
Lesting a bunch of dishes.
Yeah.
Yeah, and clapping.
And then they were like, goodbye.
It's a very strange experience, start to finish.
Maybe they were being racist towards you.
Wow.
Yeah, they were like, this is what you like.
Where is it, Italian?
Mitch is back.
Mitch is back.
I'm back.
Wow, Mitch is back.
Wow.
I'm stinking I'm back.
Wow.
This is like screaming when you think you're on the phone with the killer, but then he's here.
Ghost space was on the toilet.
We're just talking about the Bukitabbo.
You heard the conversation.
I heard it.
Thank God I'm back.
It's doughboys for a reason.
You and I together.
Yeah, I know.
I was just joking.
I know.
I know that, Mitch.
I understood that.
I'm not over the, I don't know if I'm over the hump.
Everything's going to be fine.
This for me is the worst case from a,
eating to instant feeling like shit.
I didn't, I'm on g-lp-ones.
Yeah.
I barely ate anything yesterday.
I was not that hungry.
And that is like instantaneous.
My stomach hurts.
It's bad.
Was this a first food you'd had a day?
Yes.
Wow.
Okay.
That can, that is a factor.
Yeah.
I had some blueberries with the cottage cheese earlier.
I just like a baseline of nutrition.
I had some banana and some egg earlier.
Smart.
I'm eating my daughter.
I am, I, yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, if it hadn't been my morning with
The baby, though, that probably would have been the first food I ate, to be honest.
I mean, just knowing that we had to do it, and then we have in and out.
I'll just take a, I'll eat some minute.
We're going to go get in and out still, no matter what.
Yeah, we're going to get in and out.
We're screening the film, the Kevin Klein, Joan Cuesick film in and out.
I heard you talk about how I did miss a lot of the minions movie when we were together watching it in New Orleans.
You missed when the minions hijacked the plane, yeah.
That is true.
Great sequence.
I don't agree.
I don't, I didn't want to be there for that, especially.
on 9-11 Eve.
I don't think I missed a single,
and with Menyons and Monsters, I feel the same way.
I didn't feel like I missed anything at all.
No.
And I can't believe it's your favorite franchise.
I guess, like, of current franchise.
My favorite of the franchise.
I thought you were saying Menyons was your favorite franchise.
No, I believe my favorite franchise is,
I guess you can, can you call Shakespeare a franchise?
The Immortal Bart, of course.
Wow.
What's your favorite franchise?
That's a great question.
Wendy's.
For a very long time, it was Wendy's.
I honestly really thought that the alien films, palm for palm, were great.
It's a great franchise.
And then I didn't like, you and I didn't like the last alien, and a lot of people did.
I really disliked the last alien.
I do, too.
Even though I like some of the actors in it.
Alvarez, or it was.
That was Romney.
Yes. But I just, I found the, the, the, the AI ghost just of it all, of a great actor Ian Holm just so, I know the family got compensation. I understand that. I'm saying it was a bad artistic choice that pulled me out of the movie. So I also just don't like, I'm, I don't like when dead people are in movies. I just don't think it's weird for our soul. No, I don't think it's good. Yeah. I mean, like, is, has it ever been done? I mean, like, when they wrote Tony's mom,
out of Sopranos, they did a okay job.
They did a horrible job.
That scene sucks.
That scene is bad, but I'm saying they did what they had to do and then she was gone.
They didn't have to do that.
That is an issue I have with the Spranos, the best television show ever made, probably by, you know, definitely my top five television shows of all time.
You think that's one of the shanos?
You think that's one who just been like, her gotten a call that his mom was whacked?
He could have come home and because they have the scene in the movie that, or the scene in the show, he goes home and Carmel just says, your mom died.
It happens off camera anyway.
So they didn't need the final conversation where they're reusing Livia Soprano takes from previous episodes.
It was, it's just a, but that version is more respectful than the ghoulish we're going to create this animated likeness of someone who has passed away.
Yeah, I don't know.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I guess if I was like working on something and then I died while I was working on, I think I would be more okay with reanimating than being reanimated later.
Yeah, to finish.
That's why I'm sticking up for it.
More so than, like, I think it's more ghoulish to have someone be dead and then be like, we're putting them back in a movie.
I think that that is way worse.
It just speaks to the...
Wait wait till Weiger dies and you want to keep Do Boy's Patreon going.
Wow.
Whoa.
What the fucking Pixar lamp in your seat will be fine.
I'm sorry, you were saying, Seth.
No, it just speaks to like sort of this whole sort of like ethos of no one's allowed to move forward.
word and there is no future. There is only the past and now. Like, it's just, it's very...
This is why when you ask favorite franchises, I'm like, well, like, it was alien and then there's a
new one. I'm like, how much... And then the, I didn't really watch a TV show. I don't know if people
like it or not. But like, I'm like, how many more alien movies will they make? Like, Star Wars was
maybe my favorite franchise at one point. Now I don't care anymore. Like, uh, I still do love those
early movies, but like, uh, I have an answer. When a franchise keeps living, then it gets bad.
I have an answer for me, and it might be an answer for you. We'll, we'll see. We'll
see, Mission Impossible is my favorite franchise.
Ooh, that's a good one.
I just, I feel like,
Paul, now we're, I mean, now you're doing
pretty well. Every movie is fun.
Yeah. There's a few that don't work.
Four of them are A-pluses.
Four of them are just like some of the best action movies
ever made. Which ones are you saying? Ghost Protocol.
Ghost Protocol.
O.G. Mission Impossible, directed by Brian DePama.
Yeah.
And then the,
uh, two of the, yeah,
Fallout. And then also
the one before, Rogue Nation, yeah.
So basically one, four, five, six.
and then seven is good
eight is probably the least good
and two and three I like
I still have never seen two
yeah two is worth watching
it's weird it's paste differently
I was like we were on a plane
before Dead Reckoning came out
and I was like oh this is great
it was a long flight I figured where we were going
but I was like oh this is great like I'll watch
all the Mission Impossible's leading up to Dead Reckoning
and because it'd been a really long time since I've seen one
so I watched one and then I was like and now I get to watch two
which I've never seen and that'll be fun to watch on this plane
and it was the only one they didn't have.
It felt like it was them being like,
yeah, don't.
Don't worry about it.
It's not a bad.
It's not bad.
It's just weird, right?
It's just weird.
Yeah.
I'm excited to see it.
They didn't figure it out yet.
They didn't know what to do with,
it wasn't really until four,
I feel like,
where they were like,
this is what Mission Impossible is.
This is how we think.
I'm on the record of liking date.
I like date too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What is your,
seven, I like less than eight.
That's an interesting take.
and I think that's fine.
I feel like it's one of those things
that's like Beatles albums.
Like, rank them however.
It's just like, yeah, there's a case for anything.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
What's your favorite franchise?
I, for some reason,
Final Destination is coming to mind.
Hey, that's a good answer.
Wait, Final Destination?
Yeah.
The horror movie?
Oh, yes.
The new one was really fun.
Three, I think is really fun.
I thought you were talking about,
I thought he meant your favorite Mission Impossible.
I was like, there's,
Mission Apostle, Final Destination?
I got very confused.
Because you love the Final Destination movies.
That's why your reaction was so confusing.
That's why I was so confused.
I really like the final.
I love Final Destination, too.
Yeah, two is fun.
I think two is the,
I think two is the cream of the crop person.
I think they're all.
Are you a three person?
A lot of people like three.
See a lot of the young ins, as I call them, like three.
And I'll say like three, I feel like I saw it in theaters and then it had like a thing on the DVD
where it had like alternate,
scenes. It had like some level of
interactivity where you could like
change how they died or something.
Oh, that's fun. And so it's like kind of an interesting
I do what your, yeah, yeah, choose your own adventure.
Yeah, a little bit. So yeah, so I feel like I've seen three
like weirdly a lot and it's like fun.
It's probably a thing as now as a writer you hate more than anything.
I'm guessing like the idea of like
well. They try, remember Netflix is like we're going to like choose your own
adventure stuff. You're like, oh, awesome.
I know. It's going to be bad.
No, it doesn't, I feel like it never works.
No, it never works because ultimately, and this was the thing with the Final Destination
3 thing, I remember being like, oh, this is stupid because it can't change that much
because just like logistically you can't shoot that much different stuff.
And so it's just like, it's like, oh, like what side will the coin land on and you're like
tails?
And then it's just like a character being like tails, huh?
Like instead of saying heads.
Like it's that level of modular.
It's very stupid.
I have a pitch.
Yeah, go for it.
We should make this episode
and choose your own adventure
whether you listen to the bathroom
with the room stuff or you can skip ahead.
So there's two different versions in the feed.
Or should we do it at the end.
I think I should just,
how would I do this just now?
Choose your own adventure.
Do you want to see what happens
when Mitch goes to the bathroom
or do you want to skip 20s back?
And then we just add that in.
We add that.
With the timestamps and then you can just jump,
you can just jump to it.
That's what I'm saying.
What if it's, they choose,
are you sending Mitch to the bathroom or not?
Okay.
And if they say yes, then you go to the bathroom.
And if they say no, then you just cut to when you come back.
I think we need to have a different conversation.
Okay, so I've already gone to the bathroom.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, so it's about me going back to the bathroom?
Yeah, maybe this would be the point where it's,
but I'm still like, we would have to,
I'm trying to figure out to.
You guys are getting too writerly about this.
Yeah, no, we would have to have a conversation now that you could
slot back in if they don't send you the bathroom about how you need to go.
That's, yes.
All right, that's, that we can do that.
Okay.
And then in that version, ultimately it's going to end with you.
Don't, kidding your pants.
That is ultimately how it will end.
It's too much work.
We can't do.
It requires a little flow charting, I think, in advance.
I don't think we can do it on the fly.
All right.
So cut me just doing the choose your own adventure.
No, I think that's good.
But, you know, we'll do it in the future.
Do you want to leave in the part where Mitch says it's choose your own adventure?
If so,
If you want to get rid of it, click here.
Do you want to listen to something else?
Yeah, can we link to another pod?
Can we link to factually?
Let's link to factually.
If you want to keep listening to this episode, click here.
Maybe you may be like, click here.
Think above your head.
That's good. That's good.
Where is your Italian food in your hierarchy of ethnic cuisines?
Number one.
Number one.
Number one with a bullet, probably, honestly.
Is that true for you too much?
You know I love dunking on Italian.
But give me any country.
I'll dunk on any country.
Yeah.
Iraq.
Iraq.
Maybe cut that.
Maybe cut that.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Saddam, get out of here.
Saddam.
What are you doing?
He just posed like 20 years ago.
Yeah.
Famously, we went to war, a war of opportunity to.
And then he was brought to justice.
Iraq
And the country collapsed in the aftermath.
All right.
You're not making it easier for me, asshole.
I think they lost in soccer.
Maybe go that angle.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Good job in soccer, you nerds.
Give me another country.
Let's see.
Belgium.
Belgium?
Chocolate loving fucks.
Fuck off.
That's pretty good.
If you want to see Mitch insult Belgium,
If you want to see them insult
Iraq, click here.
Is Belgium known for chocolate?
Yeah.
I think so, yeah.
I thought you were going to go waffles.
Oh, waffle.
Yeah.
I think it would waffles and fries first,
but chocolate is absolutely valid.
They also, you know,
a lot of brewing there.
Yeah.
A lot of food-based angles.
Do Luxembourg.
Luxembourg.
You stink like cheese.
Get out of here.
See, any country.
It sounds like Limburger?
Oh, yeah.
It's a cheese in there?
It is a cheese. Luxembourg is a cheese?
Isn't it a cheesy place?
I don't know.
Let's find out.
Yeah, is it the name of a...
I guess what I was wondering is it the name of a cheese
varietal or maybe it has a great cheese making culture.
I don't know anything about Lisenberg.
Why are you guys giving me such hard ones?
It is famous for its traditional
cheese catch cheese.
I don't think I'm saying that, right?
I stand corrected.
Yeah, it is a cheese culture.
A soft bread of a house.
How about Canada?
Oh, you fucking...
You fucking maple.
syrup sucking pieces of shit
to the north. Get out of here.
When you said
you're fine dunking on any country, do you mean you're fine
going to a Duncan in any country?
One I won't dunk on is the United States of America.
Wow. Wow.
I'm patriotic. We're cutting all of us.
We're cutting most of the time since I've been back
in the bathroom. It's been great. We're having fun.
Let's talk minions and monsters.
I loved it. I absolutely loved it.
I thought it. Here's what I will say
my case for it. And our buddy Drew McQueenie was
texting about this as well of just like
it's a love letter to cinema.
And it's telling kids it's fun to make
movies and movies are good and it's got all these
references to Hollywood of
your. I think it just has a tremendous
sense of fun to it and a real
pace to it where sometimes these movies
get bogged down in subplots
where it's just like I don't care about this unicorn
that Gru's daughter is looking for. You know what I
mean? Sure. So like I
I just thought it was an absolute delight.
Yeah, I mean, look, I never need Gru or those girls running around at all.
It's about the minions.
Yeah, I like my boys.
I like my boys.
Yeah.
I liked what I saw of it.
We did miss 20 minutes of the movie.
The first part of it is a lot of fun.
I will say, yeah, we missed George Lucas.
Yeah, we missed George Lucas is great.
It's so funny because truly a defining image of my birthday is when I realized how late it was and how,
the service, like, they just could not get it to, like, it just was not going to happen.
It wasn't going to happen.
And so then I was like, okay, I guess I'll stand up and tell everyone that, like, if they
want to go to the minions now, they can.
They'll just, like, give a lay of the land of, like, some of us have to stay here because
it's not done at Bougu de Beppo.
I was so happy when you, I was with you at the charge.
The image that will last in my brain forever is you looking so mad during that announcement.
I wanted to go see the movie.
I thought Mitch is so mad.
I wanted to see the movie.
Norway, more like Borway.
Your country pushed me to sleep.
Hey, what the fuck?
Come on.
That's way too low.
Wait, what's wrong with you?
You can't turn it on Norway?
Myanmar are Norwegian.
Yeah.
Oh, I forgot.
I didn't know that.
I was just ready to beam out of you.
Truly do not give a shit
I'm like Norway seems like a great place
I don't know
It seems really nice
It seems like we strong go live there
But I will dunk on every country
But no I was like
My birthday is so fun
But I was just like
I feel like Mitch and Weiger are both mad
Because we miss the minions
Oh I had a great time
That is a very funny thing to feel on your birthday
That the two 40-something year old men are mad
Because they might miss the minions
movie
But you know what
You were right
I think both of us were ready to
I mean he outright
He outright didn't go.
When you were ready to Jan 6?
I mean, we were, but unfortunately had to check through the security gate.
Yeah.
Which was, I haven't been back since then.
Same either.
And I really don't, I don't know if I want to go back as much anymore because the security gate is annoying.
It's very annoying.
I have been back.
I went back recently and it is so fucking annoying.
I went in the middle of a day and a weekday and it's just like, you have to take this huge circuitous route.
from where I parked all the way to one of the two security entrances.
And then, you know, you're dealing with, like, fucking cranky TSA people.
They're not even, like, universal employees.
It's not even the thing, like, you know, you go to, like, through Disneyland security.
And they're kind of like, yeah, we got to do this, but have a great day.
You know, it's like, it's kind of like a nice onboarding for the experience you're about to have.
Here's just a bunch of, like, contractors who are probably paid, it was the lowest bidder.
So they're probably paid like shit and they're pissed off.
They have to stand in the sun.
And they're just fucking, like, mad at you.
they're mad at you and they have to search through your stuff.
And then I was like, oh shit, I left my watch in the bin because I was like,
you get you do that sort of shit.
Did you get your watch back?
I got it back.
Yeah, I'm wearing it.
Yeah, but don't you have those?
Like, like, why do you, why do I have that bit of anxiety when I just want to go to like
fucking Margaritaville?
You know what I mean?
I mean, this anger right now makes me think we should put up a security checkpoint here,
a headgunner.
You're going to lift a little, a little too upset about it.
You don't like it either.
I hate it.
I hate the news.
They should just have kept it at the park.
They messed up.
Yeah.
I don't know what happened.
Yeah.
Here's I.
Or put a security thing by the entrance near on the other end.
It doesn't make sense.
At minimum have security entrances at all the old entrances.
Instead, what they've done is they just block them off with like the gating that would be in an open world RPG.
You know what I mean?
It's just like here's just a wall you can't cross.
You know what I mean?
Look, I'm all thrown.
This is supposed to be the state of Dell with Jen Delangelo.
And I feel like this bathroom thing, I know that there's thrillers and there's a ticking clock and we're grillers and there's a clicking ticking.
There's a clicking talk.
There's a clicking talk.
But everything got thrown off when I went to the bathroom.
Everything is sideways.
We've had a couple frazzled episodes.
Last week I was very frazzled when we had our buddy Matt Selman on if these episodes release in order.
This one, you're a little frazzled because you're having some tummy trouble.
tummy trouble.
You got the rumbles.
And let's face it.
Dunking on other countries is not going to become a normal segment.
It's just not.
It doesn't have this staying power.
The choose your adventure thing is a bust.
We don't want to do it.
It's too complicated.
What the fuck do you want for me?
We want this.
Yeah.
This is what we want.
This is what we want.
No, you don't.
This is what I want.
What are you going to?
You were down in New Orleans for a quiz.
We just happened to be there at the same time.
Yeah.
When we were like, I think we both were leaving that day.
I was like, we want to go see a movie?
Wasn't it something weird like that?
No, I think it was the 4th of July.
Oh my God, we're losers.
Sorry, we're not losers.
That is, we went to the Minion.
It was me and Lucas, right?
Yeah, yeah.
I think we did the swamp tour on the 4th of July, and then maybe Minions was like the day after or something.
That's fun.
Yeah, we had a great weekend.
Oh, I was there for Twisted Metal.
Yeah.
Okay.
Oh, no, you were, actually, I think you left before me in that scenario.
I did.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think you had just got in there or something.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was great.
I mean, it was a fun outing.
Yeah.
And also.
And how do things go on Twister Metal?
Are you still on it?
Genselo.
Not a sore subject.
No sensitivity there.
We'll talk.
Hashtag no stew, no stream.
That's my boy.
I'm not watching that show anymore.
Not without my boy, Stu.
I'm kidding me.
He's a good guy.
for a state of Dell
If you sneak it, I'll be pretty mad.
I might watch a little.
With whatever new stew is in there.
New stew is pretty good.
You animated.
They eat a home mu.
It's Tony Sparrow's mom.
We're going to get to the state of Dell with Jen Delangelo.
Do we like Delangelo or Dien delo?
I think the other one doesn't make.
makes sense. So for that reason, I think I would go Delangelo.
Wait, what was the other one? DeAngel Del.
DeAndel-O.
Deand-Dello.
D-L.O.
Oh, D-L Taco.
I might like D-L Taco.
D-L. Taco.
I like that, too.
I like it.
All right.
That's fun.
But I did want to ask about movie snacks since we're in this area.
Yeah.
What are you going to do?
You're pretty nice to your pitch, but when I was throwing out Chews Your Adventure and Dunkin' All
the country's pretty silent back there.
I was smiling silently.
Oh, interesting.
The bravest form of support.
Interesting.
I am a popcorn head till the day I die.
I love movie theater popcorn so much.
I've gone to the movie theater to just get popcorn before.
I've heard this about you.
You've told me this.
I haven't heard it about you.
You've told me this.
Do you just go nuts with that butter pump?
I go no butter.
No butter.
Yeah.
Wow.
You're going dry guys
What the hell was going on over there?
Just pumping the fuck out of it.
You know what I mean?
Like the big press down?
I'm not a popcorn guy.
I'm a popcorn skeptic.
There's a lot of buttons for the...
If AMCs there's a lot of buttons.
Oh, they got buttons down.
Yeah, it's like, yeah.
They let you do your own butter.
I know some places don't.
They like do it for you.
There are.
But in no scenario is he getting behind the counter and doing this shit.
Well, I feel like there was an era where it was a pump thing.
Yeah.
There was a pump.
There was a pump.
There was a pump.
I haven't seen a pumping forever, though.
Yeah.
It's button.
They've moved on to button.
They moved on to buttons are
Yeah, it's button culture.
Yeah, yeah, buttons are cheaper.
You know, I miss the pump.
I like the pump more than the button.
Yeah.
The button.
And also, like, the buttons are always like,
you go and push the button, then nothing has happened.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But you go no butter.
I go no butter.
And then every once in a while, you know,
if it's a real treat, I'll get a bunch of crunch,
maybe toss that into the popcorn.
Okay.
I don't like that.
And sometimes, okay, well, I'm not inviting you to come with me.
We did.
And a nerds gummy cluster sometimes.
That's fun.
All right. Juicy nerds gummy clusters, I think, are the candy of the summer for me.
Like the different flavor?
Is that the different, the blue bag?
They now are nerds gummy clusters, but there's juice inside them.
Oh.
And I gave one to Wags.
I'm a gummy skeptic as I am.
I'm a popcorn skeptic.
Not trying to yuck anyone's yum.
I'm just saying generally not for me.
Gummy ain't yummy.
From my perspective, that cluster was trying to.
That was a good cluster.
That was a revelation.
Oh my gosh.
It's like they're like a little gusher factor.
They've upped the gusherness of the gummy cluster.
Yeah, the gush puts it over the top, I think.
Wow.
You always say that.
So there's on your way home you could swing by a movie theater picks up some large gummy clusters.
Yeah, I can also stop at a store to get them, but I want to pay $9 or whatever.
you go in with a bag
and you shop
so you go in
you get your own popcorn
and you just bring it home
or you've had it
like did you get delivered?
No no
I this was a while ago
and it was
I yeah
just like went in
and got popcorn
and then just like
walked home with it
as a fun snack
will they like
this you'll like this
during
when tomorrow war came out
and I got like the screener
of it
I invited my Quincy friends
over and
Mycis brought a big
bucket of
popcorn from AMC, like went to AMC and got
That's fun.
What a fun friend move that is.
And then he didn't like the movie.
He was like, this doesn't make sense.
Like during the movie, I was like, shut up.
My second time watching the movie ever.
Mycass was shitting on our movie.
He was like, what's Cowan doing?
No, Cowan's motivations were always,
people understood Cowan's motivation.
Yeah, people knew what Cowan was up.
Hey, buddy, you probably know by now that we love Goodell's.
It's the nutrient-packed mac and cheese.
that we can't get enough of.
And Goodles has put together another spin
on the mac and cheese world
with their recently launched new Torley Mac.
It's their revolutionary noodle
with a little twist, Wags.
A unique fork, spinnable noodle
means every bite is even more saucy, cheesy,
and delicious.
Wags, I know it's true because I ate them this past week.
I also whipped up some twirly mac
and I thought it was delightful.
I thought the form factor was so innovative in the mac and cheese space.
Yes.
I'm like, I'm used to these macaroni noodles.
I'm used to these little guys.
But now I got big strings.
I got big long ones.
I can roll up like spaghetti.
How fun is that?
You got little spinners.
You can spinners.
It's like on guinea.
It's like guine.
Oh, it is like linguine.
You spin them around on your fork.
You get a nice cheesy bite.
Wags.
I was all for the twirley mac.
I was obsessed with the new twirley mac.
All the flavors are so amazing.
Cheddar weather is a mouth-watering soup for the sauce.
sole cheddar mac. Alfredo Heights has a classic creamy, buttery palm flavor, but even deeper with
an infusion of white miso. Wow. And hot shot jackpot, which I loved, is their perfect blend of
savory and spicy with chili, soy, garlic, and scalyons. You know I'm southern of a heat seeker.
That's right. Aren't you from Alfredo Heights? Uh, yeah. It's also my favorite Mario Kart level.
Just like all Goodell's products, they've nailed it on nutrition with Twirlie Mac, with 14
grams of protein and seven grams of fiber in each serving, a low glycemic index for steady energy,
vitamins and minerals from whole food sources, and intentional ingredients, real cheese, no fillers,
no GMOs.
Trust me, you need to experience Goodall's new spin-on Mac.
Pick up Goodallie Mac, online or on your next shopping trip.

Hey, buddy, this episode is sponsored by BetterHelp. You know, if I could wake up tomorrow and be better
at one thing. You know what it would be? Reading podcast ads. I mean, I got to read a bunch of them.
And you know what? Sometimes I feel like I'm not giving it my best. Sometimes I feel like I'm phoning
in an ad read. Like I'm not sounding convincing with my endorsement. Like I'm, I don't know.
For lack of a better word, being a phony. And that's not what I want. What I want is my genuine
passion for these brands to come across in my reads. And you know what?
I also sometimes have issues like that in the old noodle, talking about my thinker, talking about my brain, feeling like I want to be less online, I want to be more focused. I want to have fewer obsessive thoughts, fewer intrusive thoughts, be more in the moment. And what came to me, and what came to mind for me with all that, better is a feeling defined by you. Today we're talking Del Taco.
What was it again?
De El Tocktoe.
De El Taco.
De El Taco.
What was my character's name before?
It was Cowan.
Have I said that before that I was Tank.
Oh yeah, you were Tank.
I was Tank.
Have you ever revealed this before?
And then, yeah.
Yeah, put that in the IMD trivia.
Character of Cowan was previously named Tank.
Was Tank?
Well,
Oh, it was two characters
that got married.
That's what it was.
Someone left the movie.
Did we ever say that before?
Theo Vaughn was a part of the movie and he left it.
Wow.
That's what happened.
I did know that, but I reacted like I didn't.
I know.
Have we ever said it on this before?
I reacted neutrally in case someone involved in the movie gets mad that you said that.
I don't think they will.
He came out so long ago.
I think it's fine.
Worked up great for both you.
Yeah.
You could be said it before.
Yeah.
I think Theo Vaughn saw what he could make from touring.
I think it became clear to him that he was like, oh, wait, I canceled tour dates that would pay me significantly more.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The economic...
I think that's what I think that's what it was.
It says something to the decline of Hollywood, the rot of this industry we all are part of that now there's like, it makes economic sense to forego being in a movie to do a podcast.
Yeah.
I mean, it's, yeah, it's, I think it is like when you're a certain couch.
of stand-up.
Sure.
And in a way, I kind of respect it where I'm just like, yeah, if you don't want to be acting.
Yeah.
Like, if you'd rather just be doing that other thing that's paying you more money than like, yeah, just go do that.
So I support Theo Vonn.
There's also a version of the show where if that happens, Theo Vana is on the show.
And then who knows what happens with the show from there.
We just keep, maybe we just keep, maybe it becomes a permanent host of the show.
We have no idea.
And then Trump is a guest.
We don't know what would happen.
Mitch, I got another choose your own adventure.
This is directed at you.
Yeah.
If you want to keep this Theo Vaughn in.
If you want to keep the Theo Vaughn run in, click here.
If you want Emma to cut it so no one gets in trouble, click here.
I'm clicking the cut button.
Why are we scared?
We can talk about stuff like this.
What the hell?
I think it's fine.
Yeah.
Yeah. Jen, what are your Del Taco priors?
So I did not have Del Taco growing up, West Coast Jane.
East Coast Lady
And I
But I remember I had it
The first time I came to LA
When I was like
Or it was technically the second time I came to LA
But I was like 19
And I went and had it
And it had been overhyped to me
I would say
Everyone was like, it's better than Taco Bell
It's amazing
And I was kind of like
All right, it's fine
Who's hyping it to you?
Lucas
Okay
And
Because he's from out here
He's from out here
And so he grew up with Del Taco
And they were like
Was there ever a moment
We're like, I'm going to end it with him because of this.
Yeah, yeah.
I should have talked to Lucas about Tel Taka.
Oh, yeah.
Then you could have really gotten him back on your side.
Lucas and I have a much better report.
I shouldn't have left you alone with him, first of all.
Lucas and I would have got, had, I don't even know if I was there for, I heard some of this from the bathroom.
I don't know if I was there for.
You heard them screaming at each other at Bougathebo from the bathroom.
No, you hadn't arrived yet.
This is we were having a, this was a pre-meal conversation.
Everything's fine.
Yeah.
Everything's fine.
Everything's fine.
Just like the chicken that he cooks.
Did he ever go to minions and monsters or did he stay?
He did go, but yeah, he stayed to handle the bill.
So he saw like 30 minutes of minions and monsters, basically?
Yeah.
Yeah, okay, you're right.
That's what a lovely gesture.
Yeah.
But he was, so when you try Del Taco, you're like, he is wrong?
I was just kind of like, I don't really like, it didn't like wow me anyway.
And then I used to live kind of close to the Del Taco on Sunset.
And so that was like a classic late night thing.
And so I had like a little bit of like a standard Del Taco order that I tried to replicate today.
But again, it just was never like my favorite thing in the world.
So I have not had it in years at this point probably.
There was a time in my life where it was clear that Del Taco was superior to Taco Bell.
For me, growing up in Southern California, lifelong SoCalcouverdue.
We were past that point.
Yeah.
And Del Taco is declined.
By the way, this is the month of cyclospora.
I mean, like, we're five weeks removed from her or something like that?
Yeah, I don't know exactly where we are.
Where you just spent some time.
It's not sitting right.
Oh, no.
Well, well.
Go to the other one.
You're right.
You're right.
No, I always was like, because Taco Bell, for me, has always been, like, right up there with Wendy's.
Yeah.
And Wendy's is now bad now, yeah.
So Taco Bell, I just was always like, if I'm getting fast food, Mexican food, like, I want Taco Bell 100%.
I still want Del Taco these days because I just have so much nostalgia for it in the same way that I do for Jack in the Box, which is similarly, I would say, declined.
My big issues with Del Taco, I have two of them.
One is they're doing too much with their LTOs.
Their limited time offerings are just generally Ungapashka, and that may apply to what we had today.
I feel so sick
I'm sorry Mitch
I'm gonna say this
this has always been an issue with
Del Taco for me
this is just this is very fast
version of it for me
but anytime I do Tel Taco
later I say I'm like oh I feel sick
this was instantaneous
for whatever it's my stomach has been better
since those minion days
it's been way better
I'm saying the first one
yeah the first minion
because GLP ones
I think do make
are helpful in some way
for this sort of thing
but I
this was like
within 20 minutes
I felt sick.
I will say just back to minions, that period where y'all had left to go see the movie,
Lucas remained to close up the bill.
I was one of the people who remained.
We had a lovely rapport at that point.
We actually did have a very nice conversation.
Wow.
What did you guys talk about?
I don't remember.
But I remember it was nice.
Maybe the bill.
Do you think that the minions are behind cyclospora?
Oh, boy.
It's a kind of mischief they'd get up to.
It's a pretty mischievous thing to do.
Working with some.
some evil scientist in a lab.
Yeah, and they do like potty humor.
They do, yeah.
It's kind of their thing.
Yeah, they do.
They do like potty.
They like fart noises.
They like fart noises.
But like, how do you think, I don't know how the, if the, if the minions are in that bathroom with me, I don't know how they would react.
I do.
I do.
They'd be like, they'd be like, yeah, yeah.
They'd be like trying to claw the door.
They'd be trying to get out.
Claw at the door.
Yeah, they'd be turning green and like, and being like, oh, oh.
Yeah.
Which is funny.
One of them would get disoriented, come over and clot your scrotum.
Start bleeding.
The other issue I have with Del Taco, they always, always fuck up your order.
So much so that today was the exception that proves the rule.
They did not fuck up our order, our pretty substantial order.
But I went last night and they fucked up my order in two ways.
They forgot one of my burritos and they also gave me the wrong kind of chili fries.
because you like the chili cheese fries there.
I do like the chili cheese fries.
I like the deluxe chili cheddar fries, which comes with sour cream.
You got home, got on your knees, put your spread on that chair.
I'm realizing that it is the last meal I ate in that dirty chair.
What a way to go out.
What a way to go out.
Kind of fitting.
And I did spill.
Jesus.
Just one last spill.
I might pitch like a non-upholster chair for you.
That's a good idea.
You like eating with your legs spread out.
How is it not falling on your pants?
I know.
There is like a very perfect.
It was a big perfect circle in a spot where you would have been sitting.
Yeah.
I did spill, I think it did spill on the chair at a certain point, like when it wasn't sitting on it.
And then I also would like, I've definitely spilled like a glass of wine like underneath me, you know, like kind of like all over the chair.
I'm going to be honest with you.
It looks like there was seawater on the chair.
There might have been some seawater.
It looks like it looks.
It had been weathered by the sun.
Yeah, it's been weathered by the, it looks like, you know, the elements.
It looks like it had been dumped in the ocean.
It looks like there was like saltwater.
On it.
You know what?
I mean, I'm thinking of our old apartment where it was in the sun more.
It was by a window.
So maybe that was part of it as well.
I don't know.
That could have added to the discoloration.
But anyway, we're on the other side of it now.
Thanks to Igor.
We were just talking about old apartments.
I drive by my old apartment every so often.
And I put on bare-necked-lady old apartment that I drive by.
That's cute.
I don't know that song.
You don't know that song?
I just go.
Broke into the old apartment.
This is where we used to live.
You don't know that?
No, the only bare naked lady song I know is the Big Bang theme song.
I'm just kidding.
Who are you kidding, too?
I'm just kidding.
Ask me to sing it.
Isn't that they might be giants?
I think you're right.
As soon as I was like, this is not them.
No, no, I think it is them.
I don't know.
I saw whoever it is, I saw them perform it.
Wow.
At the Big Bang Theory rap party for season five.
So now I'm feeling very good thing.
Wait, so you loved Big Bang Theory and then you got to work on Big Bang Theory?
No, no.
So what the hell is going on?
I got to work on Big Bang Theory.
Okay, all right.
Did you ever write a Bazinga into your script?
No, I was a PA.
Did you ever suggest a Bizzinga for a script?
Constantly.
I was just going to the room all the time and just be like,
have you guys thought about adding a bazinger?
And they were like, you're fired.
Where was that?
Where was that?
What a lot was that on?
Warren Brothers.
Fun.
Yeah.
It was a good spot.
It was fun.
It was a fun.
It was a fun.
It was a fun.
It was a bunch of job. I liked working there.
I'm on the Warner Bros. lot these days.
We parry in your, yeah, it's a good spot.
Hey, there's a Delta, there's a, um, a, uh, a, there's a, um, a, a,
there's a, um, a, a, a, yeah, a, nice little slice of a lot.
Oh, oh.
We parodied that for birthday, for the birthday boys TV show.
Oh.
It was a, there was a, there was a, there was a, there was a, there was a, yeah, goofy roofer's.
So it was like, it was like, what I'm gonna. And soon there was like, whatever.
Yeah.
I don't know the whole.
And they start to shingle.
Yeah.
No, like, yeah.
Yeah, then soon there was like roofs and gutters and shingles.
The whole universe was in a hot dead state.
The nearly 14 million years ago expansion started.
Wait, the earth began to cool the art of tropes began to drool.
Yeah, developed tools.
They built a wall.
They built the pyramids, math, science history, unraveling the mystery that all started with the Big Big.
Fuck.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Who is a pie?
Yeah, who's it by?
Can we look that up?
I think it is Bernan.
I think I said they might be giants.
They did Malcolm in the middle.
That's a different.
Fair naked ladies.
It is bare naked ladies.
I was wrong.
Few, few.
Life is unfair.
They're back.
Malcolm's back.
They're back.
Oh, yeah, Malcolm's back.
I'm going to give us some historical context for my beloved Del Taco.
Oh, yeah, Malcolm's back.
It's not like what my mom's saying, dismissing me in some way.
Some of this I'm sure will be.
A retread of info I've given on previous episodes.
But I do like this.
I do like the history of Deltau.
It was found in 1964 as Casa del Taco in the desert town of Yermot, California, by a trio of men, one of whom is Dick Noggle. A few years later, they dropped the Casa.
Come on. Come on. Come on. How many times did you practice just reading it casually?
I mean, we for sure have talked about it. We've talked about Dick Noggle. We've talked about Dick Noggle. Okay, all right. And Dick Noggle will come back. But a few years later, after opening. Just like Ian home.
It does sound like
It sounded like the end of the new Avengers movie
Dick Noggle will return
Noggle might be in Doomsday
We're going to find out
A few years later
I hope so
If Captain America is like
It's Dick Noggle
Just our old man walks in
An apron
But it's like an alternate timeline
So he found it Taco Bell
It's fucked up
They're like
And Glenn Bell is Dr. Doom
Wags, this is too good.
This is too good.
Yeah, cut this.
You can use it.
So a few years after founding, they dropped the Casa.
It's cleaner, but now the name makes no sense of the Taco is the canonical name of Del Taco in Spanish.
Yermo was a, where it was founded, once a bustling town with a Union Pacific rail stop.
And then, in 1968, shortly after Casa Del Taco is founded, Interstate 15 opens, which connects Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
You worked on L.A. to Vegas.
I did work on L.A.
to Vegas.
Flying from L.A. to Vegas.
Anyway.
I forgot Barstow.
Yeah.
And then so Barstow becomes the new
like bustling
desert town because the route.
Did something weird happen with L.A. to Vegas?
No, that was another show you were on.
That just didn't happen.
Yeah, I was on a show where I got this is,
I mean, it's like in a sense of the best job I ever had
because I had a contract to write on an NBC show
that was going to be about the space program.
and the Thursday before we were supposed to start,
I got a call from the producers just like,
yeah, the show's not happening, it's canceled.
But I was already under contract,
so I got paid out for 13 weeks of work.
That's amazing.
No, not bad.
Well, yeah.
Yeah, I was going to say the only...
I was going to say the only weird thing
that happened to LA Vegas was it got canceled.
All right, yeah, yeah.
I'm sorry.
I think I was thinking of your space show.
I mean, the plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania,
Mish.
Not on 9-11 Eve. What are you doing?
So
the Rout
Interstate 15 bypasses Yermot
goes to Barstow and as such
Yermot turns into like he's basically
goes down. I'm taking a plane from L.A. to Vegas.
This is bad planning. Not enough fuel.
That's just bad planning. Sorry,
Osama's friends.
I don't know. It was Osama's friends.
Dick Noggle
leaves Del Taco in the 19th.
It wasn't him himself. It wasn't.
him himself.
Well, I'm not doing anything wrong here.
I'm just, I'm, it was his friends.
It was his friends.
It was his friends. He was operated
in an advisory role. He facilitated it. It wasn't him.
But it wasn't him. It was his friends.
I can't say that I worked on L.A.
to Vegas. It was my friend.
They're not going to say, no one's going to say
Mike Mitchell wrote on L.A. Vegas.
They say Mike Mitchell's friend. Thank you so much
for comparing me to the hijacker.
Dick Noggle leaves Del Taco in the 1970s.
He opens his own chain called Nogles, and Nogles competed with Dell until it closed for good in 1995, and then was resuscitated like Ian Holm and Alien Romulus by investors in 2015.
Can I just thank 9-11 for 9-11 for something?
Yeah, go ahead.
Thank you, 9-11 for Seth McFarlane for the last 25 years.
We have had 25 more years of Stewie and Brian and Peter.
American Dad?
Yeah, American Dad, because because he, you know, he.
He was not a part of it.
And most of all, Kroonin.
Yeah, the Kroonin.
He's been Kroon.
He's been Kroon all over.
Oh, Kroon.
I thought that was a character from a family guy.
Kroon.
Kroon is on Ted the animated series.
Have you not seen the Kroon show?
I haven't seen the show.
Yeah, it did a couple seasons on TBS.
So now there's two Nogles locations that have been resuscitated.
And it basically has the vintage 1970s del Tocco menu because...
Noggle has returned.
Yeah, that's what I said.
Dick Noggle will return.
Okay, he did.
Yeah. Del Taco, about 600 locations in the U.S.
Wait, I'm so sorry.
Noggle.
There are two Nogles locations currently operating.
Yes, there were no Nogles for 20 years, like L.A. and NFL teams.
And then now there are two Nogles like L.A. and NFL teams.
So are they, like, more old school?
I hope they got one of those.
Yes.
Salsa pumps.
So it's, they do have the pumps at some places.
To answer your question, Nogles is basically, like I may have just said, it has, it's basically the Del Taco menu from the 70s.
So it's, it does kind of have a throwback sort of character to it.
We last reviewed it in 2024 with Libby Watson.
It is in the Golden Plate Club.
Since then, in 2025, its previous owner, which was Jack in the Box.
Jack in the Box owned Del Taco, sold Del Taco to Yadav Enterprises, which is a franchising company that manages locations of,
of Jack in the Box.
So Jack in the Box sold it to a franchising company
that has Jack in the Box locations,
as well as Denny's El Pollo Local Corner Bakery Cafe,
Sizzler, NTGIEi Fridays.
And since then, I think it's gotten worse.
It was already getting worse under Jack in the Box,
and I think it's declined further.
What do you think, Mitch?
I think that if the Jack in the Box buys your chain,
it's a bad sign.
It's a bad sign.
Yeah.
It's kind of like if anybody buys your chain, it's a bad sign.
That's a great point.
But especially the person who buys it is known to have a shittier food.
Yeah.
You're in trouble.
I mean, like, I love del taco in a way, and I'll still go get a del taco and like a bean and cheese burrito sometimes.
But it does make me sick.
They fuck up all the time.
There's like lots of the things that are bad about it.
And also, we saw them, we saw them like cut back.
They got rid of the spicy jack cassidia, which we got today because it's back as an LTO.
Yes.
You saw them make some of those moves.
But look, Del Taco's always had the problems of like.
gigantic drive-thru line here on the sunset location where Amelia went today.
If you're there, like, midnight or later.
Yeah.
And we were commiserating about this earlier.
They're slow and sloppy, largely because they're understaffed.
Yes.
And so, like, a lot of the locations are not well run.
I am by a good one, and that one is still a fucking mess, you know.
The one in Glendale, or I guess the one in Atwater, is like a decent.
That one's okay.
Where is that one?
It's right near,
it's like a,
like right near
Tamoshand.
That one,
that one is,
that one is pretty good.
Yeah.
But I think,
but all of them have like,
you said this,
like,
like all of them have like one or two people working there.
Like I'll go there.
I'm like,
there's just a guy here.
There's one guy.
Yeah.
It's just nothing special is what I really feel like.
Sorry.
That hurts his soul.
Yeah,
that's a,
that's a bummer for me,
but I do understand it because you don't have
nostalgia goggles for it,
which is,
That obviously influences everyone's perception of everything.
He's not happy about that.
I'm sorry.
I'm okay with it.
Well, now we have a feud.
And Lucas and I have an alliance.
Yeah, wow.
He's going to do one.
Put a bag over my head.
The only thing that's going to stop him, though, is his newly refurbished chair.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I can't use this as my stool to kick out from under me.
It's too clean.
So I'm going to hang myself from my ceiling fan, but then I'm not going to be able to
Is that why it's so dirty?
Is it because you've gotten up there thinking about it so many times?
20 suicide attempts?
Looking pretty good from up here.
Today they have the, we had,
at a limit time offering the all-American burger taco.
Two 100% beef patties grilled to order,
two slices of American cheese,
two fresh tomato slices, burger sauce,
crisp shredded lettuce,
and diced onions on a warm, buttery, toasted flatbread.
You know my complaint about tacos is that they're not American.
enough for me.
So today, we got a real, a real idealized American version of it.
And I think we all thought it was going to be disgusting.
It looks disgusting.
It looks gross.
It sounds, it doesn't sound good.
Like a burger taco, in a way, it sounds okay, but I just, I don't know.
I just assumed, well, I'm like, okay, ground beef and a taco, like, that's a tale
as old as time.
So I kind of just assumed that it would be like a take on a burger in a taco, but this
was literally like a burger patty, like, sticking out of a taco, and it just didn't look like.
It looks bad.
Yeah.
The flapware wrapping, I mean, it's akin to a Taco Bell gordita, but just if you had two hamburger patties in there.
But yes, I think that version of, it's a different seasoning on the ground beef.
They have a, you know, it's still in a taco shell, classic hard taco shell.
And then you put in, like, burger sauce in there.
And like a relish.
Yeah, and maybe like American cheese instead of cheddar cheese.
You know what I mean?
Like, you could do some things to simulate that.
And I think that would be better than what we had.
But that said, what we had, I would not say it was disgusting.
I thought it was not bad.
I liked it.
Yeah, I thought it was kind of good.
It was like, I was sort of surprised by the quality of the actual burger.
I was like the burger patty.
I was, I liked it.
It was pretty good.
One thing I can say, it was pretty damn good.
One thing I can say from that standpoint is one thing I will stick up for always with Del Taco.
And this is a take our buddy J.F. co-signs, even though he's from Tennessee and has only been out here visiting.
The double del cheeseburger.
I have to say.
Go on.
The double del cheeseburger is one of the best burgers in fast food.
Wow.
Okay, he's dumb.
It's good.
It's like a really good burger.
That's a quality burger.
Tell me when he moves here and lives here and that is it more than just a visit.
Yeah, I agree.
I'm not saying it's just his take.
I'm saying he agrees with my take, which is that it's a very good burger.
And I think, and I'm putting in the category of like, we're in the tier of places like, you know,
know, your Wendy's is, your Burger Kings.
And this is one of the things that Del Taco has...
Wendy's like, Gallum.
How do you pluralize Wendy's?
Wendy's.
I guess it's inherently plural.
You're jacking the boxes, you know.
I'm not saying this is like competes with like in and out burger or, you know, I mean...
Galem's coming back, by the way.
Gallum's back?
Gollum's back.
The tale of Gallum or whatever is coming out in like a year or whatever.
Wow, really?
Yeah, circus is back.
Wow.
Circus is back directing and being gone.
Oh, right.
I forgot he's directing.
Yeah, he gave like, uh, I'm excited.
Yeah.
So there's a chance that you might, there might be a promotion where Gallum says Wendy's is.
Yeah.
There is a possibility.
Circus is back could mean a new Gallum movie.
Could also mean you're going to get some funnel cake.
See an elephant?
It will be confusing when he's doing the press store for that movie and people are like,
the circus is in town.
What are you talking about?
And the interviewer has a bag of peanuts.
Oh,
Yes.
Mr.
Circus.
Oh, of course.
The interviewer thought it got invited to a circus.
Is that what you're trying to apply?
Yeah.
Why aren't we inside a big top?
Anyway, because the double-dell cheeseburger is good, IMO, I think that informs why the All-American
Burger Taco, and to your point, the patties themselves are good.
And, like, I don't know.
I thought it was decent.
I don't think it needed to exist.
I like the one-quarter portion of burger I had,
as opposed to, which we used as a control,
as opposed to the burger taco itself.
I don't want to hear anything from JF who's abandoning our country
and going to Canada.
Wow.
You don't get to speak on American burgers anymore.
He's moving north.
Wow.
Yeah, he can only speak on syrup.
Syrup and the other thing.
Oh, boy.
Hockey?
What is the...
What is this?
Poutine.
Poutine.
Poutine.
Yes, he can talk to us about Poutine.
He doesn't know shit about American.
You can only comment on Poutine.
Yeah.
Speaking of Poutine, chili cheese fries.
J.F.
JFK.
JFL.
JFL.
We like JFL.
It's the Canadian product we like.
Okay.
Kill Fuck Mary.
J.F.J.K., Jaf.
I would definitely, you know what?
I would kill JFCK because he's gone through it all right.
Yeah.
He knows what to expect.
Or maybe I kill J.F.
I don't think you should kill J.F.
I mean, as a family.
Oh, that's true.
So do JFK.
Fair point.
Wow.
And we can't kill JFL.
We marry JFL.
I would say I kill at JFL.
Wow.
Ooh.
And then I fuck JFK and marry J.F.
Wow.
What is your show at JFL?
Um, Wig's thoughts.
Oh, he didn't notice you there.
Is that how it starts?
Yeah, yeah.
There's an extended bit of Gallum at Wendy's.
Frosties.
My Nuggets is.
This was better.
Oh, boy.
You did do JFL.
I did do JFL.
I am also, I'm a JFL alone.
Wow.
I've never been.
I'm a two-timer.
I guess we should say
JFL just for laughs
the Montreal comedy.
Just for laughs.
Just for laughs.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Mitch you're a two-timer?
So is JFK.
Famously committed infidelity.
Oh.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Cheated on his wife.
I thought you were making a joke about me
taking a number two earlier.
I thought that's where you were going with it.
But I get where you're saying about
him being a two-term president.
I don't think that's true
No, yeah, you only get the one
The one term cut short by an assassin's bullet
Lee Harvey Oswald
What does that mean?
You want to jack them off?
What is happening?
Do you think Lee Harvey Oswald?
You like the chili cheddar fries.
I do like the chili cheddar fries.
Honestly, I think that your chili cheddar fries are what
Remember?
What got you?
Because you're like,
we want to try these chili cheddar fries?
Oh, yeah.
I'm not, it was much like Circean Odyssey, where you were offering me this food, and I was nervous that you were like, I took a piece out and you did immediately say, ooh, that big gloop piece is good.
And I was like, what the fuck?
It was a good looking gloop piece.
I was like, what do you mean by that?
And you're like, it's meaty.
And I was like, something's wrong with Angelo.
No, I got, I completely agree.
It was a good ratio of fry, chili cheese.
That's what you want.
She's right.
Totally agree.
I do think that clusters maybe cause problems.
I don't know what has caused problems, but something is, how are you feeling?
Great.
I think it's, I think the likely culprit, honestly, is low-quality tomato slices.
I just think that's probably what got you.
Which is, we all were afraid of that when we were.
Yeah.
I did eat two of them.
Yeah.
I ate too much of it.
This is a scenario where I'm like, I was enjoying what we were eating, but
hosts the way I'm feeling is bringing my score down.
Yeah, I think that's fair.
I mean, you know, the spicy jacked cassidyas, you mentioned, Mitch, is back.
It shouldn't be gone.
It shouldn't be gone.
I agree.
That's the thing they fucked up.
It should not be a thing of like, we're going to take it away from you.
And then, like, as a treat, you get it back for a little bit.
How about that?
But spicy jack cassedia, one of my go-toes, spicy jack chicken cassidia, one of your go-toes.
I say, I like it better without the chicken.
I think it's addition by subtraction, but I think it's fair to disagree if you want a little protein in there.
I like the chicken in there.
That's fine.
Especially if you're getting it as one of your main items, I want to.
I like, did you try both?
I didn't try them.
I didn't try either.
I know.
Did we throw them away?
Maybe that's what got you.
Yeah, we threw them away.
Honestly, the spicy jack cassidy has in the past gotten me.
Wow.
Okay.
We threw them away.
Is it in a bag?
Can we dig it out of the trash?
I don't know.
I'll eat it out of the trash.
I'm sorry for calling you Circe.
It wasn't really, that's not really what happened.
I mean, I guess, I'm sort of like, of all the female characters in the Odyssey,
is she who I would most want to be?
No. Penelope, I guess.
Penelope.
Yeah, Penelope is cool.
But then, I don't know, you've got to be dealing with all those guys hanging around.
Well, you've been through UCB theater.
About the same ratio.
Yeah, it's about the same ratio.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And it's a similar thing where I was like, I'm just going to sit over here and weave all you guys.
Want to watch my sketch?
This monster is coming up to you.
I think I like episode one now.
He's just fucking Christ.
That's what he says out of nowhere around this guy is.
One of the other limited time offerings they got,
what are the motivation for us going there?
And hey, this is in synergy with when we guested on Libby Watson
and Charlotte's podcast talking about dirty sodas, Mitch.
Do you want the world to know you went through UCB?
Should we blur?
I don't know.
I'm still proud of UCB.
I loved UCB theater.
It's just very funny to be that it's very sweet,
but to be like, do you want the world to know you have a child
and went through UCB?
Two very, like, you know, fundamental things in my life now.
UCB is my child.
You know what's funny is that you, you, you know what?
I'm just remembering this.
We've never talked about this.
You were going to ask me to do one of your, you wrote a show.
You were going to ask me to do a part.
Do you remember this?
You were working with, I think, Neenan, Tim Neenan at one point.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then you were going to ask me to be, and I was very flat.
You, like, told me this.
You're like, I was going to ask you to do something in the show.
Oh, yeah.
And then I know, you never did.
It never happened.
I'm bringing out a 15-year-old.
You guys may be right that Mitch never forgets.
Yeah, Grudge Mitch.
Wow, Grudge Mitch.
It never, I think because I early.
That sounds like a New Zealand person saying grudge mad.
Grudge Mitch.
I get, yeah, because there was,
it was like a show about a bunch of girls doing a pageant.
It was a one-person show.
And I needed someone to play my dad at one point.
So I guess it was a two-person show.
I would have killed it.
But my main memory is when I was doing a thing for spoofness and I, in a last minute, I needed Santa on stage and you were there.
And so I asked you to play Santa and you did.
I might have talked about this on the pod before.
You played Santa.
Do we know each other well at this point?
A little bit, I'm sure.
We knew each other.
And I was like, I was like, the whole premise of the thing that I was doing for spoofness was, like, uh.
Like Santa's Big Fat Loser?
Is that what it was?
That's what it was.
It was.
I was like, it was a spoof of the Nickelback song photograph.
And I, this was not the exact lyric.
I can't remember what it is, but this is now just stuck in my brain.
It was something like, look at this piece of shit.
And it was like, yeah, all about not liking Santa.
And I got nervous right before that it wasn't good enough and that I was just going to
out there on stage, like, singing it alone.
And I was like, it'd be funny if there was, like, a Santa so I could, like, be, like,
really, like, flipping them off and stuff.
And I was walking by and a Santa just, I wasn't even doing spoofness.
Yeah, just on your way to, like, a Tuesday or something.
And so I was like, would you mind, like, being Santa on stage?
And you're like, totally.
And then we go out and we do it.
Being Santa, I am Santa.
Santa.
That was my response back.
And it was so fun.
It was great.
I was, like, so, like, grateful that you did it.
And then we walk off stage.
And I was like, thanks Mitch.
And you were like, no problem, Jess.
Oh, no.
Wow.
And look, it happens all the time.
It happens all the time.
I saw the high you got from that performance.
And I was like, I got to put this girl back in her place.
So I said, I guess I said Jess McKenna.
Yeah, you insulted two of our friends.
Happens all the time.
That was very early.
That was so early.
It was more, it was just a funny.
Ooh, that it's rough.
It's not rough.
It's really not.
I can't even tell you how often it happens.
Jess and I went, we were in Valle Guadalupe for our friend's bachelor's party,
and the bartender was like, you guys are twins, huh?
We were like, twins.
That's never happened.
We've gotten sisters before, but never twins.
But, yeah, people confuse us all the time.
I was trying to think of the first time I saw you and McKenna on the scene.
I remember McKen-
Well, you've never seen us in the same spot.
I've never seen you in the same spot.
Together.
Yeah, that's a good point.
Even at that dinner, the Bucadabopo, like one of you would go to the bathroom and the other one would come back.
Yeah.
It was weird.
You were in the bathroom a lot.
Yeah, there was one time when I came back wearing your backwards hat.
And I was like, oh.
I remember, I don't know if I, like, taught if I was a coach.
I was a very bad improv coach always.
Of course.
I remember, like, coaching.
I'm a good improviser, damn it.
Wait, I am.
I mean, yeah, I mean, you're a great improviser, but a coach.
Yeah, that was bad at it.
You got to show up the stuff.
Yeah.
But it's also like...
I'm kidding.
I would be a bad one dude.
There was...
I can't...
Well, we can't...
Well, we can believe who it is,
but there was an improv catch that we had,
and he was like,
1 p.m. we're going to be there.
And then he didn't show up,
and it was like 3 p.m.
And we thought he was dead.
It was...
People, I mean, people are going to know.
We can't include this.
I was saying you were bleeping it out.
Yeah, but people are going to put two and two together.
That's on him.
If people still know...
Yeah, you know, honestly...
Rob coach who we thought was dead.
That is on him. You were correct, Mitch.
That is on him. Fair. Totally fair.
And I feel like I go under that
category too. Is he a lot? And we
do like a wellness check on him. But I
remember you, I remember what McKenna
and DeAngelor landing on the scene.
It was, the theater was still
working at that point.
We're a griller, not a thriller. The clock is ticking.
We got 28 minutes. We're
We do not have 28 minutes.
Because that does not correspond
to when our deadline is,
What that corresponds with is how long that we've been recording for,
and we stopped the episode for some time while you were in the bathroom.
Can I just tell you that you, that ramble right there was longer than I was even in the bathroom?
We got to talk about these dirty sodas.
We tried to get, we tried to get both a dirty dell, which is based off Fanta Orange and then has, do we have a description of that?
Do we know what components are in that?
And then we also wanted to get a dirty barks, but unfortunately that one came just regular barks.
but we were able to dirty it here,
which we'll get to.
The Dirty Dell,
Fanta Orange.
If we want a regular box,
we got Gemmy here.
We'd be all set.
That was fun.
Everyone can enjoy that.
That was good.
Okay.
Treat yourself to this sweet
and creamy beverage
featuring your choice of Coca-Cola,
Fanta Orange,
barks, or Dr. Pepper,
topped with sweet, creamy vanilla
and a fresh-cut lime.
Yeah, vanilla and lime added to this orange.
Vanilla and lime added this orange.
This orange soda.
Now we've got to keep that in.
I was trying to reset myself.
Sorry,
I'm going to keep the gross throat thing you did in.
Vanilla and orange.
Like vanilla and orange,
a classic combo.
Here it was absolutely putrid.
Because the cream curdles in the soda,
in the acidic soda,
especially with the fucking lime in there,
I thought it was straight up garbage.
I hated it.
I felt like I was sipping vomit through a straw.
It was disgusting.
I also think maybe
that's because I was drinking whatever the curdled vanilla was.
Yeah, could be.
I gave it to DeAngelo.
I would explain the speed if it was a curdled cream.
100%.
That's true.
I handed to the angelo.
There's someone there who was getting deep into that curdled cream and not really reacting at all.
In fact, doing one of these.
One of those like interested eyes faces, like very.
It was literally the kombucha girl meme.
Like I had an initial like, mm, and then I was like, mm.
And then I had like probably four more sips because I was kind of like, what are you guys getting that I'm not?
Because it did not seem that gross to me.
It was.
Maybe you sucked out of the curdled.
I maybe got the kernels out of there.
I maybe removed the kernels.
Because it just tasted like a creamsicle to me.
I did not get that.
Like Igor, I suck up all the curdles.
Maybe you got more of the lime.
I think that might have been it.
Yeah.
Lime was the way it was clustered.
I think it's possible I was strawing out that lime.
Because it did taste a little bit more putrid.
which would...
Like an acidic, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I will say, yeah, like a citrus and cream.
That's barfey.
I mean, it is, it was not good.
I didn't think it was good.
But I was happy that you were happy.
And I also was looking over and I was like,
she's taking like way more sips than I thought she ever would.
And you seemed happy about it.
But I thought that it was disgusting.
Amelia really fucked up bad.
I misunderstood the wording of one of the text orders.
She thought that we wanted a large barfew.
roof here, which is strange, which you have to admit is strange.
I don't question anybody's taste.
I just order whatever is said to me.
I don't think about it.
It was a reasonable misunderstanding.
We're talking in the context of dirty soda, the dirty phanto, which you and I both
wanted.
And then you had the idea of like, we should get a different one for the other one.
So I was like, let's get barks.
You just understood it as, you were like, first of all, why do we need barks?
We have jemmy in the studio.
And then you were like.
You should have thought of that.
I don't know why you didn't think that.
A dog who famously never marks.
She was excited to see me today.
She was yapping at Mitch.
It was really cute.
And then you just like, we didn't spell it out clearly enough where it was like,
we also wanted that barks to be dirty.
So you brought her your barks.
Can I say something?
Yeah.
Do better.
I pulled up Mitch's text right here.
Oh, shit.
I could see why I thought what I did think.
Yes.
Read it out loud.
All right.
Dirty Del Orange Fanta.
I also want the orange Fanta, but maybe.
we should get another one to be fun
like Coke, root beer or Dr. Pepper.
Why is what you think?
Why he said barks?
So because of, you said, I also
want the Orange Fanta.
I thought that meant a regular Orange Fanta.
Here on that back, I think that you really, really
fuck. No, no, no. In fact, I feel like
I need to dig my heels in a little bit more about this.
Now I really understand why I thought that.
Because you said, Dirty Dell, Orange Fanta.
I also want the Orange Fanta.
Yeah.
Yeah, I kind of get that. It sounded like you were saying.
I also want to do.
dirty dull orange phanta, but I also want an orange phanta.
He ordered the orange fanta.
I also like, Wags, what do you think?
Barks.
I just made a decision.
She just went, whoa, whoa.
Look, I'm in the position where I will be.
Yeah, we should make that clear that it was a voice memo where Wiger barked.
I will just be a decider if need be.
The group chat's been insane.
It's been insane today.
I'll just say this.
In my neighborhood, there's just some stuff going on.
We don't have any time for this.
I know, but if we're at time, we don't have time.
She can leave at five.
Also, you did nothing wrong, of course.
You never do any.
None of the employees do anything wrong.
It's just me.
Also, I'll just say me leaving a little bit earlier in this record.
Something I suggested I do.
The original, that was the original plan I had.
I wanted to go with you.
I still, I am not concerned about time still.
I think that's, we know you're not concerned about time.
That's why you would be a bad improv code.
I can control time.
Is Mitch?
I can control this.
We talked for like two hours about how we were going to get in and out today after our records.
Was there going to be enough time?
I promise you if you leave at 5.30, I promise you can stay.
I said all of the plans will change by next Friday.
And what happened?
Every single plan changed by today.
Emma, you are right?
I give that to you that you are right.
You are right.
I'm right too.
Yeah.
Relax.
You can leave at five.
You were right.
I will say it felt like me and Emma and Amelia were.
all on the same page about timing this out and Mitch was kind of on an island.
But Mitch also thought it would be fun to go.
Mitch wants the adventure.
Mitch won the adventure.
So I think we enable it.
I think this is good trouble.
I think as an improv.
What would it be if Odysseus stayed in Ithaca, why?
Mitch, I totally agree.
What would it be if you stayed in Ithaca?
What would I be doing?
Gojinging rough.
What is the local?
You are kind of like a modern day Odysseus.
Just being tormented.
by God.
I am a bit of a pig man.
What is the location?
I just want to get back to Mommy.
The location of the In-N-Out?
In-N-Out?
I guess that's not what Odysseus does.
He's going back to his wife.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Your mommy is your wife.
It's in Glendale.
The Harvey Drive in-and-out, if that's what you're asking.
I think we should just go, we should just, like, speed through this,
and we should get to the finish line by the original time instead of going a little bit over.
Yeah, we should try to get through this part as fast as Del Taco made a way through.
Mitch.
I messed it up a little.
It was perfect.
It would be, I say, 45 minute.
I'm telling.
We can't, we can't be arguing about this now.
We're going to go longer.
We won't even get in and out if we have to.
No, Jimmy has to be paid in cheese fries.
That is true.
We won't even get in and out if we don't have to.
Jimmy's leaving.
She heard that she's not getting cheese fries and she said, here's my bowl.
She just presented her asshole to me completely.
So she's calling you that for not getting her cheese fries.
We're getting her cheese fries.
it's going to be fine.
It's going to be fine.
It's going to be fine.
It's going to be fine.
Look, I think this is good trouble in the same way that it was good trouble that
Amelia got the wrong barks because that led to the birth.
A mistake can be a gift.
The creation of your beverage.
Yes, I created the dirty Reno.
Right.
See, I don't think.
I don't think it's a good thing.
Maybe this is the source of the diarrhea.
It could be, honestly.
We keep listing things that everybody else ate.
And it really just beg the question.
Is it you?
It's hot in here again, by the way.
I know.
It is.
It's hot in here again, and now my stomach hurts.
This is a nightmare.
It's a nightmare episode.
We have DiAngelo here.
Emma's exiting the studio.
And I brought the curse.
Okay.
Talk us through the dirty arena.
You're going alone.
You're going to end and out alone.
That's fine.
That was my original plan.
I wish I put money on this a week ago.
Well, we did.
You have to. Honestly, you have to.
And the reason is because I'm going to shit my pants.
I did text Amelia today at, like, I don't know, 1 o'clock.
And I said, how much do you want to bet you're going in and out alone later?
She said, I will bet my life.
I literally bet my life on this.
There's no other reason that I'm not going besides I might have to go to the bathroom.
You're not going to not go because you don't want to kill her.
She bet her life that you wouldn't go.
But the thing is, I anticipated stuff coming up, stuff happening.
That's what life happens.
Everything takes longer than you think it is.
This is all taken into account when I first
envisioned the plan. Don't stop the episode, but we're going longer.
Okay.
We're going longer. Fine.
I mean, we've got to hear about the dirty Reno.
Okay, so the dirty Reno, because I fucked up the order,
the bark's order.
Did he hit himself on the dick with the handle?
It looked like you just walked into the door.
He maybe hit himself in the door.
Mitch is a little bit.
It looks like it himself with the door, yeah.
Does anybody care about the dirty rene?
Yes, we did.
The dirty reader was good.
The freaks are going to be making this at home.
I liked it.
So I messed up the order by getting just a regular bark, so I was like, I can make a dirty
dell myself.
I got some two packets of domino sugar, not domino's pizza place, domino sugar.
And I put in some oat milk, mix it together, and then I poured the barks on top.
And you know what?
Everybody liked it better than the actual dirty dell.
It was better than the real dirty dell.
I think the oat creamer maybe helps because it doesn't curdle with the acidity of the soda.
Also, I just think, like, a root beer in general, like, it tastes like the root beer float when you put cream in there.
So it's great.
I still did not like it, but I like that you made it.
I like that it's yours.
And it was clearly superior to the other one that, again, I thought it tasted like I was drinking barf.
Yeah.
So, it was good.
Thank you, Amelia.
Do we like the cheesecake bites, the mini churros?
The cheesecake bite for me, I went on a real journey with it.
Because when I first bit into it, I was like, I don't think I like this.
It was too much filling.
And the filling is kind of sour, which, like, you know, it just wasn't great.
It hints it curdled.
It hints it curdled.
It's a nod to curdle.
And then I took another bite, and then I kind of like squished it down to kind of like squeeze out some of the filling to have a little.
less filling in it. And that's when the caramel came through, which I was not expecting,
and that looked disgusting to just have brown oozing out of it mixed with this like
creamy white, pale yellowish substance. It looked like bird shit. It was all gross. Inside an
egg roll. Yes. Yeah. And I kind of was just like, I think my favorite part of this is the like
the wrapping, like the egg roll of it. Right. I didn't mind it. It did not to me evoke cheesecake.
No.
In any way.
It was like, because it was too illiquity.
It was like a, it was like a weird cheesecake-flavored pudding with caramel
streaks in it.
It kind of tastes at like the toaster strudel icing.
Yeah.
Like it was a very sweet.
Yeah.
It was strange.
It was reminding me of something that I like could not place.
I was like, I have eaten something big this before and it's reminding me of it,
but I could not place it.
Maybe it was toaster strud.
I feel like, yeah.
It's like some kind of like, yeah.
Yeah.
And the churos were fine.
The churros were fine.
Yeah.
I mean, this is the thing, like a low quality churro, I'm kind of like, what do we
doing here.
Exactly.
You know.
And I also don't know, is a churro, is a churro a penthouse food?
High floor, yes.
Oh.
I can't think it is.
A churro is always kind of good even when it's bad.
I'd rather get a good churro.
There's definitely, but, but I mean, like, I think even, like, kind of a shitty churro
can be like, well, it's a churro.
I've had definitely a bad churro.
Where it's just, like, too hard and not sugary enough.
It can be too hard.
You're right.
There's a new churro restaurant in Echo Park that I tried.
I just had that.
Did you try it?
Yeah.
They were pretty delicious.
There's always a line around the block.
What's up with that?
I think it's just that good.
And maybe because it's new.
It's also, it's a Mexico City location.
So I think it like had a lot of it.
It's the first location of that chain in the States, I think.
So people are really excited about it.
We went late night.
And there's no line.
We were like, it was like a Sunday afternoon at like a weird time.
And we just like happened to be walking by and the line wasn't that bad.
And I was like, I just hop in there real quick.
Have some churros.
I mean.
It was worth it.
It's good.
The ice cream is.
good, too. I didn't have the ice cream, but we'll have to go back.
What kind of ice cream we're talking?
They just had, it's, uh, I got a chocolate shake.
My friend got a vanilla shake. I had asked if they would do a black and white and they gave me a
firm, no. So we did it ourselves, but both were great. Can I say I kind of like when a place
has rules like that? Yeah. Yeah, right. Yeah. I know. It's like, yeah, you tell me.
Yeah, yeah. That's fine. Like when a menu says no substitutions, yeah.
Or like no changes.
I'm like, great.
Give it to me how chef intended.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Again, we have to make so many decisions in our lives.
And you should get the analysis paralysis.
You just get decision fatigue.
And sometimes don't make a decision like just saying barks in a single curt text.
Because it's just like we just need to make a decision here.
Yeah.
And just making it.
And we don't need to be flowery about this.
Let's just move things along.
Yeah.
If you get flowery, you tend to maybe misinterpret what somebody's saying.
Yeah.
The double-ed-cheasburger.
Wait, did you have a one-quarter portion of the doubled-ed-l cheeseburger?
I did.
And I do feel like in cheeseburger form, I was like, yeah, this is great.
And then the burger taco, I was just kind of like, I don't need this.
Just like the tortilla.
I mean, I guess the tortilla was fine.
Yeah.
But yeah.
It didn't feel like it.
That whole thing doesn't feel like it needs to exist.
Hey, buddy, a good night's rest sets you up for a great day.
And that's why I'm so happy with here.

That brings us to our fork score.
So, Jen, you are a veteran of the podcast.
You know how this works.
We will each go around, give our closing argument, if you will, on this particular chain,
and end by giving it a score from zero to five.
five forks.
Yeah.
Your guest will begin with you.
Your thoughts, your fork score on Del Taco.
Okay.
So.
Keep in mind, Lucas might be listening.
Yeah.
I mean, oh, boy.
Oh, I'm going to have to hear about this.
No, I, okay, so again, I had zero emotional attachment to Del Taco.
And I liked the Del Taco.
I got just like a standard Del Taco, and that was very nice and simple.
and I also usually get like a taco supreme at Taco Bell.
And I would say that the Del Taco was better than the Taco Supreme.
Maybe that's just a circumstance thing because I feel like the last like few Taco Supremes I've had,
this shell has been like super greasy and like wet and crumbly.
And this shell was like very crunchy and crispy.
So the Del Taco was good.
Chili cheese fries were fine.
I also got a crispy chicken taco which I thought.
was bad and like very gross.
And the burger was fine and the churro was fine.
Everything was just kind of fine.
And so I think I'm going to go three for Del Taco.
That means it is being excised, evicted from the Golden Plate Club.
That's okay.
That's your opinion.
And I like that you are, you're not pandering.
You're being honest.
I'm not furious.
I'm at peace with this.
People can think different things than me.
And that's okay.
And so I think it's fine that you gave it three forks.
And I also say three forks is probably about what it deserves these days.
It is certainly declined from its peak.
It's this beloved childhood favorite of mine.
I remember my grandparents driving me around when I was a little boy and they were like,
where's the closest del Taco?
And I didn't know.
Wow.
Because they wanted to leave you there.
Tell you what, it would have been in Hog Heaven.
Del Taco, the advantage of it.
over Taco Bell is that it does have burgers and it does have fries, as well as there are things
like I like their Del Taco Taco, better than the Taco Bell tacos, absolutely like their
baseline taco and burrito, their bean and cheese burrito, better than the equivalent Taco Bell
item. So if you're keeping it simple, I think Dell has the edge. Speaking of which, Emma,
you had the bean and cheese burrito. What did you think? It was like a perfectly simple bean and
and cheese burrito. I ate the whole thing. Yeah, I get it basically every time I go to Del Taco again.
And I'm not having diarrhea right now. So, I'm fine. It's just like.
Keep it simple. Don't do like weird flourishes like the All-American Burger Taco.
Don't dick around with their LTOs like the caramel cheesecake bites. And also Del Taco,
stop fucking doing that. Like, wait, like you don't have to do that on your end.
You can sort of say, hey, we're going to commit to honoring the legacy of Dick Noggle and just do the core of the menu, you know?
Give us Nogles' favorites.
Yeah, they should have a Nogles' favorites menu.
Yeah, and just have it be that. And focus the concept on that.
streamline the menu because you get too many things on there.
You got too many options.
You clearly don't have the staff to prepare them with, you know, correctly and efficiently.
And honestly, I'm pessimistic for the future of this franchise because Jack in the Box,
already not like, you know, the most, like tightly run ship.
It was like, we don't want Del Taco anymore.
And they're selling it to some other company that, who fucking knows if they are
They have the skill to manage this franchise to success.
It certainly feels like they're continuing decline.
The insidification has come for everything, including my beloved Del Taco.
It's five forks for me.
But I'm so fucking disappointed in the dirty Del's and the All-American Burger Taco, despite
it being kind of good, is just a thing they should not be doing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It does just feel like it's like Del Taco.
And again, every company, just respect yourself.
Respect yourself.
You don't have to be doing all this extra stuff.
Just try to do what you do well.
What are we doing?
How about that?
We want Dick Noggle's favorites.
We want Dick Noggle's favorites.
All right.
Hey, that was our review of Del Taco.
We'll get Mitch's fork score when he returns.
I mean, should we try to call him?
Yeah.
Are we going to see if we get Mitch on the phone from the head gun bathroom where he is at for the...
Probably going to be getting a fart score.
Yeah, it's pretty good.
You just give us the amount of farts.
Like, in farts.
A salute.
Hey, what's up?
It's Mike?
I can't come to the phone right now.
It's faking again.
That's Irma.
Still sound like far, maybe.
Well, we'll get Mitch's fork score when he returns or if he calls back.
I will say one quick, fun thing about parenting is when you, how quickly, when you see how
quickly a baby learns that farts are funny.
It's pretty fun.
That's fun.
When she farts and laughs.
It's pretty good.
You're right.
I'm like, yeah, you're right.
That was funny.
It's time for a new segment.
It's the debut of eight plate hate.
Hit it, Emma.
Tell me, why'd you have the dough and ate it, plate it, hate it, hate it.
I see the way you're snacking like you're hungry as hell makes me nauseated.
Pods like this chew.
So meat balls and cheese balls and eat steak and eat cake and clammy.
bacon then turn it into
astronomy and promise me I'm never
gonna mind if you ate it
do do do
all right it's eight plate hate
this is fuck Mary kill except instead of names of people
I'll give you names of dishes
so eight means you'd eat it plate means you'd serve it to a loved
one and hate means you'd throw it in the trash
so basically we're like like fuck I'm gonna eat this
I'm not be a hog and eat this for myself
Mary I'm going to share this with my family
I'm gonna share this with my loved ones
and hate, I don't want this anymore.
Great.
Get to get the fuck out of here.
First up, staying with Mexican food.
And by the way, shout out to Amelia
for the assist with the lyrics there.
Oh, of course.
A lot of fun.
I love seeing an Averillovine parody song
come through my email this morning.
So much of a...
He's back.
Okay, Mitch's return.
What are you listening to?
Oh, just some Irish music to listen to while I'm on the toilet.
I was listening.
It was no nay,
it just came up in,
no nay never came up in my,
my mix.
You,
you listen,
you were listening to no nay never.
You missed the song,
eight plate hate.
Hit it, Emma.
Oh shit.
You're doing it again?
You want to do it again?
Let's do it again.
Just so Mitch can see it.
It's new.
You did the song without me?
Yeah.
No, no.
No, not at all.
Here comes, ready.
Tell me,
watch a hapto and ate it played it,
hate it. I see
the way you're snacking like
you're hungry as hell makes me nauseated.
Pods like this chew.
Some meat balls and cheese balls and eat steak
and ate cake and clam bake and then churn it into
gastronomy and promise me I'm never going to mind
if you ate it. Do, dough, dough, dough.
Oh, there's an extra dough in there.
No, there's just three. I'm so sorry you got to sit in here
alone for that.
Wait, was the timing off?
Yeah.
Oh, that's what it was.
It goes, do, do, do.
Oh, I got it.
All right.
You do it next time.
I like to listen to some.
I like to put on some Irish music when I use the bathroom one.
It reminds me of the homeland.
Oh, it's in there on the toilet.
I'm wearing my nice pair of undies today.
Hey, how about that?
I hope I don't ruin them.
They are still nice so far.
Which ones are you wearing?
Which brand?
Ex officio.
How do you like the ex-o?
It sounds like a Harry Potter smell.
Ex officio underwear.
They're nice.
I like them.
Yeah.
I do like them.
But I hope that I don't ruin them.
Also, we're going on.
You're going along.
Yeah, if you're going, you should probably...
It's five.
Yeah.
So I should go.
I mean, that's your...
You said you had to leave a five.
In my mind, I want to do a longer episode and just go alone and not tell you guys, because I think that's funny.
I think we're saying five because we have no idea what rush hour traffic on a Friday is going to look like.
It's 22 minutes to get there.
Okay.
So it's like, okay.
You know what?
This is what we're doing.
We're doing Mitch's plan.
because you're right, that's an adventure.
It's like Odysseus.
Maybe you're not going to be at the screening.
Maybe the movie's not going to start on time.
That's fine.
We're doing Mitch's plan.
Now we're fucking talking.
And this also makes it an even better tenet
because if something happens goes wrong tonight,
then you really got to listen to this to kind of understand what happens.
So I'm confused.
Am I going alone or am I waiting?
You're not going.
Mitch is going.
Yeah, you're not going at all.
I know it's well.
You don't have to drive to the Glennell anyway.
So now your life is over.
No, worst of all, you're coming away.
with me.
When he just said that he would
definitively shit his pants in the car.
That's a part of the reason I might need you.
You're going to need Igor in the
to re-apulsor your backseat
with me there too.
I'll send you with some of my
jemmy's poop bags.
Here's the deal. Everything's going to be fine.
We relax. We take our time with this.
It's all good.
Mitch, we need your fork score before we get into eight plate.
You did fork scores without me?
Yeah, we went to with a statement.
What did you think?
We kept moving.
This is insane.
trying to keep the episode moving because we have a ticking clock.
This is insane that you ended the episode with on me.
We're not saying.
We're not ending the episode without.
You called me?
We have the segment to do and the feedback still.
We're just going through it.
This is fucked up.
The three of you were making some power move on me.
It's not happening.
You called you.
You didn't answer.
You're going to call me twice.
It was on Do Not Disturb for the record.
I didn't know this.
I didn't know you did that.
But the chime goes off.
Because, oh, okay, I'm sorry.
My trauma from almost.
being broken into my house doesn't matter to you.
Mitch, no one is against you.
No one's conspiring.
I'm going to play a drop.
Oh, interesting.
Spoon gal.
Spoon gal.
You said it.
Would you like Spoon gal to host the podcast?
I guess it's just fine with you
if my house gets broken into
and Wally and Armour out on the streets.
That's not going to happen.
Yeah, the people in the Airbnb next door will save them.
Oh, yeah.
This is, this is, look, the Airbnb is not a thing.
They're getting, the neighbors getting bodied right now.
That's all I got to say is the neighbor is getting bodied.
As someone who also has OCD recently diagnosed, I will say,
Welcome to the game, my man.
I will say, I have been told in therapy that checking makes things worse.
Checking makes obsessive thoughts more likely to recur.
And so that in and of itself is a compulsion.
But I'm not saying you should change your behavior.
I'm just saying, like, that's a thing I've learned.
Speaking of checking, I got an email yesterday that was like, hi, Mike Mitchell, this is, this is, this is from CAA.
We can't give you your chipmunks movies, residuals, and cash and checks anymore.
Wrong Mike Mitchell again.
I did not direct chip wrecked.
Wow.
But, I mean, try to get that money.
I mean, that's, yeah.
Trust me, I got an ear at the end of the year, like, how much have I paid you guys sort of breakdown?
Yeah.
And they sent me the Mike Mitchell on.
I was like, the residuals for chip wrecked are pretty damn good.
That's all I'll say.
This is sort of an opposite thing, but Mike Scully message me to say that he had accidentally, for some reason,
gotten a check that was meant for me, a residual check, and it was for 61 cents.
And he was like, do you want me to send it to you?
And I was like, it's okay.
Oh, my God.
I would have gotten a percent of it.
Sorry, Scully.
I would have you sent me to six.
I mean, I was like, that is my address if you want to send it.
But also, like, please, you can keep it.
it and go take it to residuals if that place still exists.
Oh, yeah.
And get a free drink.
I don't know if it does it.
It doesn't seem like the kind of place that would still exist.
Sign up for the WGA small checks program.
It will pool all your small checks on their end, and then they will direct deposit to you in $100 increments.
Oh, wow.
So, yeah.
And so I'm a W.A. captain.
I'll walk you through it.
Anyway, so with.
God, sounds like fun.
You guys can do that while we go to In and Out.
And then he'll be late.
Diary on the side of the highway.
And he'll be late to the screening because he talked to DeAngelo about fucking the check system for fucking two hours.
It's just going to be on stage by himself.
Oh, good.
That's beautiful.
Park, bark.
I know it's a little archaic to accuse women of being witches, but the dirty, and I've done it once already.
So especially two women in one day accusing them baby witches.
But the dirty Reno.
You just stopped a woman on the street.
No, I'm doing it now.
You were the first one I called Searcy.
You pulled some Searcy shit with the dirty Reno.
Yeah, but you liked it and you slurped it up.
Something went on with that dirty riddle
Because it's been bad ever since then
I do feel like if you went into Circe's hut
You would have been the guy that saw all the armor outside
And been like, oh, still eat
Circe would have been confused as I turned into a man
That's not how that's supposed to go
Wait, now his dick is curly-kewed
What happened there?
It's a fun time jacking out with a whatever.
We'll cut that out.
That's what we're going to cut?
That's where the line is.
Just people who had tickets for tonight listening to this a month from now being like,
that's why they weren't there.
Mitch gave you your fork score.
What were your guy's fork scores?
You don't get to know.
That's fucking bullshit.
You say yours first.
We'll tell you after.
Look, I'm the host now.
Circe shit
I don't like accusing women
of witches but historically
the witches were women
that's all I'm saying
it wasn't normally men
there were as many warlocks
as there were witches
or is that what they want you to believe
or were the warlocks just killing all
wait
I think it is funny
I think it is funny with women
where like you're like
like I'll talk to women
and be like
oh yeah that like
that stuff is funny
but like I have cast a spell before you're like, wait a minute, what are you talking about?
You need to hang out with different women.
Yeah, what kind of spells are women casting around you?
Well, I probably know.
Oh, no, I've never know.
I think I know who you're talking about.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know people who have cast spells.
Yeah, my mom.
Whoa.
Yeah.
We're with the writer of Hocus Pocus, too.
Yeah.
And we had, hold on, hold on.
There was a thing we had to cut out of a previous episode, Mitch.
Do you remember this?
Oh, yeah.
Because...
Uh-oh.
I'm in trouble?
No, Jen was like, I'm working on something in the rewrite, and he said, what a new spell.
And then she was like, how do you know that?
We had to cut it out because there was part of the revision process was coming up with a new spell.
It also so funny to be like, that's a huge secret.
I don't think women are witches.
I don't think you, I don't think you spiked the dirty Reno,
but there's something's going on.
And the dirty Reno was better than the dirty Dell.
I'll say that much.
You did a great job.
All right.
Mitch, give your fork score.
My fork store is coming.
Yeah.
I really love Del Taco.
I've loved it like you.
Not like you, because no one can love it like you.
Right.
Yeah.
Except for Lucas.
I've liked it for a very long time.
Yes.
I wonder what Lucas is.
Well, we've got to get Lucas in here.
You should get Lucas his fork score.
I mean, that would be such a heated episode between the two.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah.
These two hotheads just screaming at each other.
I still like it.
Like, I liked the food today.
I'll be honest with you.
It's slipped.
It slipped.
It slipped.
And I still do like it, but everything considered, I'm going 3.75 forks.
I'm sorry.
Wow, Mitch.
You have joined DeAngelo and kicking it out of the Golden Plate Club, which is fine.
I'm sorry.
It's fine.
I did it first.
You were right.
And I even gave lower.
I just give a flat three.
Wow.
Yeah.
No, he's not happy right now.
No, I'm fine.
Different people can think different things.
That's okay.
That's a strange way to react to that, too, honestly.
Different people can think different things.
We are allowed to have different opinions.
We can, this is subjective.
Tell that to pluribus.
All that said,
You are both correct, but I gave it five forks because it's still taco.
And I got to have it.
I saw a pluribus on the plane.
I was flying to New Mexico.
Oh.
And she was there.
And then I was, and we didn't go to New Mexico.
We got diverted to El Paso, Texas.
And, uh, and it really, I got to say, we flew with, we went back east, uh, a few
months ago was our first time flying with the baby.
And we were like, and you know what?
We never have to do that again.
We'll wait until she's old enough to be entertained by an iPad.
And so I'm in a real like no flight era.
But I just got to say, everyone that I know that's flying places, all this stuff is going all catty wampus.
Flights are getting directed, rerouted or canceled.
It's very annoying.
Seems nightmares.
And they cost $1,000.
Yeah, so much money.
Yeah, that's the other issue.
I'm joining you.
Is it?
Wait, we never even talked about your taste chains before and after.
Did you mention that?
We did.
We did.
You were in the bathroom.
When I was in the bathroom, I was in the bathroom.
I have to listen to the fucking episode.
You said to continue the episode.
You said it continues what we did.
We continued the episode.
We progressed to the-
Oh my God.
I almost got Jemmy.
I almost got Jemmy.
Jimmy, get him.
My anger's out of control.
This is a wake-up moment for me.
I almost hurt Jimmy.
She's staring at me.
Jimmy, come here.
You also knocked down the Wally figurine.
Wow.
Says it all, doesn't it?
Wow.
The witch isn't going to like that.
Who is?
It's okay. He won't hurt you. It's okay.
Powerful symbol there.
She's giving me the side eye.
This is an outrage. We should have been to this episode.
The moment the first turd came out of my ass.
I pitched that. I said there was an option.
I know. You were right. What do you want from me? You're right all the time.
It's fine. Everything's fine. We're doing fine.
Jemmy to get him back. Just take his shit on stage later.
We're going to do the segment.
Eight Plate, Hate.
And I think to set us up, we should do the theme.
Oh, my God.
Hit it, Emma.
Sucks.
Tell me, why'd you have the dough and ate it, plate it, hate it, hate it.
I see the way you're snacking like you're hungry as hell.
Makes me nauseated.
Pods like this chew.
Some meat bowls and cheese bowls and eat steak and eat cake and clam bacon, then churn it.
into astronomy and promise me
I'm never gonna mind if you ate it
you didn't attempt it
No I wanted to get it I wanted to watch Emilie
Delangelo is just recording jemmy's response
I kind of was just like I feel like we all need to see
The jemmy is just like
Shut up
I'm sorry baby
I'm sorry
I love her
This is 8 plate hate Mitch
It's fuck Mary kill instead of names of people
I'll give you names of dishes
Eight means you'd eat it for yourself
plate means you'd share it with your loved ones
and hate means you'd throw it in the trash.
Amelia Segmelia is going to run this one
so I can go to the bathroom.
Wow.
I'm mostly going just because I can.
Are we going to do all 15 of them?
Just keep it going.
Just forgets the episode.
All right.
Number one, taco, burrito,
cassidia.
Whoa.
They got a rise out of both of us.
Yeah.
I think, okay, I'm just going to shoot from the hip.
I think I'm going to eat taco, a plate, okay, ate taco, plate,
hate burrito.
I, hmm, I'll be honest with you.
It's so sad because I feel like it's like a fucked up thing to do.
I think I'm hate.
I mean, this podcast in general, yes.
I think I'm hating cassidia.
Wow.
I mean, yeah.
and then I am
hate
Hate
Hate is the fuck
And plate is the merry
Yeah
Okay I'm plating burrito
Because I love burrito
So you're sharing that with your family
Yeah I guess so
I guess maybe I want to do plate burrito
Because I feel like it would be
I feel like
Sharing burritos with your family
Is gonna go over well
And sharing a cassidia
I do feel like people are less excited about a cassidia
More in the app country
Yeah
Yeah
But now I'm confused because
It's like fuck Mary Kill
So
I get that it's like fuck marry kill.
So if I was...
So which are these things you want to marry me?
But that is funny because I don't want to like share the burrito.
I want the burrito for myself.
Sure.
I mean, I'm assuming that it's like a bunch of burritos, but maybe it's one big burrito that you're carving up.
But just like the concept of burrito?
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm going to go, okay.
In that case, I think I'm going to go, eight burrito, plate taco, hate cassidia.
Eight?
You got it?
Eight plate and hate.
Eight plate and hate.
Okay.
Eight plate and hate.
And now that you've experienced portions of me hosting the episode alone with Mitch and me hosting
the episode alone with Wigert, who do you choose every place?
Now hold on a second.
I'm going to say this.
The fact that I, my first moment along with you is doing eight hate plate is fucking bullshit.
A segment he came up with, by the way.
I do not want to do eight hate plate.
I like it.
What's the next one?
Okay.
What's the next one?
Hold on a second.
We got spaghetti and meatballs.
Okay.
Fettuccini Alfredo.
Pente alavacca.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
I definitely am aiding penile vodka.
I'm eating.
I'm eating Petti alabatka.
I am plating spaghetti meatballs.
Yeah.
I'm hating.
Feduccine alfredo.
I stand by that.
Mm-hmm.
I like that.
He's got, I hear the, uh, handwriter going off already.
Yeah.
In fact, he walked in there and I started hearing that thing going if he gets the roof.
Oh, wow, Jimmy's wagging her tail.
She's happy to see whyager.
We have clams, oysters, muscles.
Wow.
Clams, oysters, and muscles.
So is this like clams mean clam chowder, or are we just talking raw bar?
Raw dog.
Wow.
Raw dogs.
Okay.
You're a raw dog.
Raw muscles.
I mean, cook.
They're cooked.
I just meant like it's not in clam chowder.
Yeah, you're not like.
putting it in.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
All right, then my answer is,
so these are raw clams, then?
I think it's just,
it's not like clam chowder,
it just clams.
It's just clams on the half shell.
Yeah.
I'm envisioning a seafood tower.
Yeah,
I'm envisioning that this is coming,
like it's maybe cooked but on ice,
which I believe is what they do with muscles.
I could be wrong.
All right, so, well, that changes things.
That's,
this is an easy one for me.
Go on.
Oh, really?
Yeah, easy one for me.
I mean, I'm, I'm plating oysters.
That's, that's what's getting plated.
Everyone's, everyone's enjoying some oysters.
Wow, I'm off oysters.
Whoa!
Yeah, I used to like them, and then I got food poisoning from oysters, and now I'm just like, well, can't do it again.
That happened to me years ago, I got food poisoning from oysters, and I, like, didn't touch them for like a decade.
I just, like, in the last year or two years, started having one or two here and there.
And they're great, but you need some time.
Nellie, you know, one of the most adventurous eaters I know, but she had a similar incident and is off oysters.
It's just like, and it's a bummer.
Yeah.
You love them until you have a bad one.
Can I be honest with you?
Cowardly.
Truly the worst food poisoning I've ever had in my life.
It was horrible.
It sounds bad.
Both ends for like two days.
Disgusting.
Mitch simultaneously coming at our guest, our employee, and my wife.
Call it as witches.
Call it as witches.
I love witches.
I love all three of you guys and I don't think you're witty.
I remember I was like, I was so sick and I was just like in the bathroom.
and I was like sitting on the floor and it's just been there for so long.
It was just like I'm in so like it was just miserable.
And I just remember like saying to Lucas like I just don't even understand like how it could be this bad.
Like what is happening to me?
And I just remember it just being like, you've been poisoned.
And just the phrasing of it.
That's good.
He was right.
He was right.
And it was at, uh, should I just say it?
I can read it if you want.
Okay, great.
Yeah.
Oh, can I guess.
Can I guess?
Um, you'll never guess.
Okay.
I was going to say,
No, no.
Okay.
That is a great guess.
That is a good guess.
It was at, I can't even remember the name of the restaurant, but it was a
restaurant that's on top of a hotel in Hollywood.
And we were having, it was like a big party because it was a show I worked on, had gone out
to dinner.
And so we were like a big group.
And B.
just happened to be there that night because it had opened recently.
And so he came over to our table because he was like, oh, there's like a big party.
And so he like said hello to us.
And so.
Man.
To then be, like, lying on the bathroom floor, just being like,
did this to me.
That's brutal.
It was tough.
That tricky German.
Is he German?
I think he's Austrian.
I think Austrian, yeah.
Okay.
Better.
Yeah.
He was nice.
Better.
Yeah, you really go for every country.
It's also funny that you said the better one is the one that Hitler was actually from.
Oh, let's see.
Mozart was also from Austria.
So there you go.
Wrote the National Anthem.
Isn't that something?
Isn't that beautiful?
That's beautiful.
Hey, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We love Arnold.
We love Arnold.
We love Arnold.
We should, where are we going?
What are we doing?
Did you say your answers?
Oh, you're off oysters.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I think I hate them all.
You hate them all.
Wow.
I guess that's an option.
You can hate them all.
Yeah, you can't hate them all or played them all.
You can do that to it.
Wait, then we're not even playing.
Well, then what are we doing?
All right, hold on a second.
You'll make some tough choices.
I ate clams.
I hate oysters.
I plate mussels.
Okay.
All right.
I am going to eight muscles, plate oysters,
hate clams.
Wow.
Why same.
Wow.
I think.
Wow.
I would think you'd be all about the clams.
I love clams.
I don't like a raw bar clam,
and it depends on like how if these,
I don't know the preparation,
but just clams straight up.
I'm with you.
I'm like,
I do,
like raw bar clams.
It was clam chowder.
That's getting played it.
Clams on the half shell are not my favorite though.
Like that was like that's like a lower tier one.
It's clam strips, fun.
You know, clam chowder.
Yeah, of course, great.
I don't know what, see this.
I don't know what kind of clams is.
We're doing raw.
We're going raw.
Fuck it.
We're doing it raw, right?
Yeah.
Should we move on to the next one?
Yes.
Let's keep going.
Brown gravy, biscuit gravy, sunday gravy.
Whoa.
Easy for me.
Go for it.
I'm hating biscuit gravy.
Sorry, South.
I am plating brown gravy, which is, I guess, is disgusting.
And I am eating, what is the other one?
Sunday gravy.
Sunday gravy.
Oh, shit.
Never mind, flip them.
I'm plating Sunday gravy.
That's the correct answer.
Yeah.
But I'm also like, but I think I would be more excited to go to town on a bunch of Sunday gravy than to go to town on a bunch of brown gravy.
That's fair.
So maybe I want to eat Sunday gravy, plate brown gravy and hate.
That's the wrong answer, according.
Yeah, and that is the wrong answer according.
You don't mean that?
I guess I'm going to be the one person sticking up for the American South,
even though I'm from the Southland, Southern California.
You're always sticking up for the American.
I just think it's going to rise again.
We'll see.
Just keep your eye on it.
I mean, it kind of has, right?
They're doing great on.
I'm going to ate biscuit gravy because I think biscuit gravy is absolutely heavenly.
What the fuck you're getting rid of over there?
I'm going to plate Sunday gravy
and I'm going to hate brown gravy.
You love gravy.
I don't eat brown gravy, though.
Of the three of them, I'll take biscuit gravy.
And Sunday gravy's like marinara, right?
We've got to have that.
We're not going to live without that.
We got to have that.
All right, Amelia, let's do two more.
You got called out for, you switched stances on something.
I'm going to read right here.
Okay, great.
Mitch is saying I'm a flip-flopper.
Okay, let's do.
People complain that our videos have,
YouTube ads now.
Yeah, they do.
Yeah.
If you're not a, I mean, you can subscribe to the channel, right?
You can subscribe to YouTube premium.
YouTube, yeah.
But yeah, we get paid via YouTube ads.
That was one of the first things I said.
All right, hold on.
Keep going with the thing.
Keep going.
Eating at the dinner table, eating on the couch, or eating in bed.
I mean, we know me.
I'm eating at the dinner table.
I'm eating there a lot.
I am going, so I'm going to say, but I'm going to say plate dinner table.
because that's where we're having a family meal.
Eight couch and hate bed.
I'm not taking food in the fucking bedroom.
Yeah.
Unless I'm in like a hotel room, I'm not eating in bed.
No.
Same.
I'm plating dinner table just because that's where, if I'm eating with, like.
Yeah.
But I'm eating at my couch every single night.
Yeah.
That's how it is.
And I know for you right now.
Yeah, I'm a couch eater.
This is, that one's an easy gimmie.
Let's do one more.
Okay.
The Wales meatball sub.
Oh shit.
Circe's Pig Transformation Soup.
Shit.
And Napa Boys wine.
This is a good one.
Well, Napa Boys' wine is shit and cum, is it not?
It depends because there's also very good wine in that movie.
Oh, is it Mitch's, is it the wine I make at the end of the movie, or is the shit and come wine?
That's why I'm thinking it's not the shit and come wine.
I thought it was the Mitch Foot one.
Okay, Mitch Footh one is okay.
That's a quality wine.
That's a quality wine.
That's not the S-tier wine in the movie, though.
I'm so sorry to say that I have not seen Napa Boys.
and this is the funniest possible conversation
to just try to glean what it's kind of what the vibe is.
You know what?
I don't think the vibe is,
I don't think you can put the vibe into words of the movie.
Well, just the vibe that's being like,
do you mean the one that's shit and calm or the one that's good
or the Mitch foot one?
It's just like, what is that?
I am going to.
I also have seen the whale.
Sorry.
That's fine.
You don't have to see the whale.
It's just fun to make fun of the whale.
I listened to an older episode recently, though I can't recall which.
And the mailback question was a guy saying that chips are the best appetizers.
The boys and guests were ranking salsa, guacca guac and quasso.
Mitch said he would rank salsa first, and Wiger and the guests were both appalled and let Mitch know they thought he was very wrong.
Now on today's episode, Wager's on board with salsa being number one.
Seems like I changed my mind.
It's okay to change your mind.
It's okay to change your mind.
It's almost like in different moods.
You crave different things.
I'm just letting them know.
I've also said like this is the thing.
Emma, you're going to cut your defense of him out.
That's my choose-my-own adventure.
Wow.
Silencing women.
Oh, my God.
You'll never know if I did it.
That's a great point.
Cut me out.
That's true.
Cut me out of the fucking episode.
I like salsa, yeah.
I like them all.
I mean, it's just like I think there was...
I just liked it.
I liked that you got you got busted.
I didn't get busted?
I changed my mind.
No, you got busted.
You got fucking busted.
You got fucking busted, dude.
That was humiliating, though.
You got busted big time.
You got fucking busted.
You've got a flip-plomber over here.
I can answer this one.
For all of us?
Yeah, I'll answer for all of us.
Ate the Wales meatball sub,
because that's a food you binge on in shame.
Plate Napa Boys' wine,
because Mitch's wine, we share with our friends
and we're enjoying a lovely time out of the vineyard,
drinking a great vintage.
And we're hating that pig transformation soup
because we turn to fucking pigs by a witch.
Give it to me.
Wee!
I'll eat that soup up.
I'm plating that pig soup if you know what I mean.
Turning everybody into a pig.
You turned Lucas into a pig?
You turned Lucas into a pig.
Yeah, yeah, I turned Lucas into a pig.
You can turn them back also by like massage.
If you massage their heads, you can turn them back.
Right, right, yeah.
Yeah, it was very strong.
I loved that moment in the movie.
She's like molding them back into men.
Yeah, that's cool.
But she has witchly powers.
Yeah, we know that she has witchly powers.
Just like a restaurant via your feedback.
Let's open to the feedback.
Today's email is from Morgan.
Morgan writes, with a show now being over a decade old,
wow, we've seen an interesting evolution of personal style.
Weiger from minions, T-shirts to tattoos and buzzcuts,
and Mitch from a green Celtics hat to a slightly darker green Celtics hat,
due to filth.
Oh, interesting.
It makes a girl curious.
What does personal style mean to you and how is being on camera for the podcast,
changed or not changed how you present yourself?
P.S. shout out to my guys, Blake and Matt, for showing me the podcast
back in 2020 and now it is a subject of much of our banter.
Thank you for writing in, Morgan.
I am going to say, first off, I hate being on camera.
I don't like that the podcast is in video form,
but we've accepted that it has to be.
We've accepted that the people like it.
You're behind the scenes guy, mostly.
Yeah, right.
And also just like, I think I like podcasts as an audio format.
I think it's more interesting.
But whatever, we've accepted reality
and the show has evolved,
just as my opinion has evolved on salsa versus queso and guac.
That's beautiful.
Yeah.
But I don't like it.
And Mitch, even though you are an actor,
I don't think you like having to be on camera for podcasting.
I don't give a shit.
Truly.
You don't give a shit.
I mean, that sincerely.
I really don't care.
You said we should start doing YouTube things.
And I was like, that sounds annoying.
And I didn't want to do it.
Just because I was like, why do we have to do YouTube stuff?
It seems.
And then you were right.
He's been right about a lot of stuff on the podcast.
So I'll buy.
I'm right sometimes.
He just doesn't give, when I have it,
we just never talk about it again.
I give you credit all the time.
I'm just joking.
Shut up.
Say one nice thing about Mitch.
Yeah.
We're waiting.
Mitch, you have great feet in Napa boys,
stomp at that line.
Freak.
And now saying one nice thing about Wiger.
Wiger, you have nice feet outside of Napa boys.
Thank you.
And you show them off quite a bit.
I do.
Wiger, your chair looks much nicer than it used to.
It does look way better.
I seriously was like, I got to re-reeport.
This
upholster this fucking thing.
I told the guy,
I think I might just have
to get this re-opolder.
And he was like,
let me give a few minutes, boss.
He said, let me take it.
Like, so casually,
I was like, let me try.
I think I can fix it.
Igor's a fucking man.
Magic.
It would just work in magic.
Wow.
Yeah.
People are amazing to cite the whale.
To cite the whale.
You nailed it with the whale lags.
And here, I forgot what the question was.
The question was,
how was your personal style evolved
being on camera for the podcast?
It hasn't.
I mean, I guess I've lost some weight.
You have lost some weight.
white. With my GLP ones, it usually helped my stomach out a little bit. So I don't know if my, I did, I bought new underwear and I bought new socks and I have new shoes today. I was like, I'll dress a little bit nicer for the podcast, but I don't know. There's still going to be days when I come in in in a sweatshirt and not care. When we talk about censors. Is that bad to not care about it or no? No, I think it's fine. It's up to you. Yeah, you know, do whatever you want. I do feel bad when we have people coming in and they're like, oh, you like, do video and then they're like, I like, I didn't wear makeup today or whatever. And you're like, that sucks. And I'd like, it genuinely. It doesn't. It's just. It's
makes me feel bad. You got to know. We always tell people in advance and then some people just don't
read the emails, which is fine. We understand. They're doing us a favor by guesting the show
as you are. But my question, like for you is a guest because you've been on the podcast in the
days before video. Yeah. Like, like, and just guesting on podcasts in general now, it's like,
I got to be camera ready. Being caught up to that. I mean, what's your take? How do you feel about
that? I mean, I definitely was similarly resistant at the beginning. I was just like, no, it's an
audio format. That's what we like about it. And I still am like, I don't usually watch podcasts.
I still just listen to them. And like from a guest perspective in the beginning, it was very
annoying because you were like, well, the whole thing was that I could just like show up and be having
fun and not be worried about it. But now it's just like, well, okay, whatever. Yeah. You give up.
You give up. You surrender to the horrible things that the industry is forcing us all.
to do. You just kind of give up.
But, I mean, it is, you know, it offers fun little opportunities.
Like the last time I was on, I wore my five-fork sweatshirt.
I was a lot of fun.
That was a lot of fun. It was fun to wear that.
Was this, you were pregnant at the time?
I was pregnant at the time.
And I walked here, which is like a long walk, but I was like, that sounds nice and it's
not the long walk.
I did the long walk here.
You won.
Yeah, and I won.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, it was great.
It's a good program if you can win.
But yeah, I just remember walking here, and by the time I got here, I was so hot and so hungry.
Well, I'm sure headgum helped quite a bit if it was anything like it is today.
Oh, yeah.
It was so great to walk right in here and then immediately eat Taco Bell and in and in and out.
Honestly, it was great.
But yeah, so it's, you know, mind being on camera.
What you love when your stomach is hurting so much and you're going to a bathroom and it's 90 degrees in the bathroom, isn't it?
that is just an awesome feeling when you're like already sweating.
I love that.
I love it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I want it to, I mean, it's already like such a great smelling environment and, uh,
do you want it to be really hot and really humid?
Yeah.
No airflow.
Can I ask you, though, off of this question?
Yeah.
How would you describe your personal style?
I think that I've never had one.
I disagree.
I like, I like flannel.
Like I would wear flannel.
So I guess that is like a style.
What, what, how would you describe my style then?
I'm interested.
I think I'd describe your style.
as as Mitch.
That's your answer?
It's just Mitch.
Yeah.
I do feel like it is Mitch.
That's fair.
It is fair.
Boston casual.
Boston casual is a good, that is actually a good way to describe it.
Like East Coast 90s almost.
I try to like, when I was younger, I did like Gap stuff a little bit.
And then I feel like that didn't like completely work.
But in, I liked college.
shirt. I like sweatshirts, collared shirts. I've always liked that. I've liked something up there.
And when I wore t-shirts, I wore a double t-shirt. I wore a t-shirt. I wore a t-shirt under the t-shirts. That was my style when I wore t-shirts. I've never been a t-shirt guy. I don't wear a t-shirt out for the day.
No, if you have a t-shirt, you have a flannel over it. Yeah. Strange. I think you have a sense of personal style because of how easy it is to do Mitch cosplay. If a fan comes in, like, comes dressed as Mitch to a show, or sends a picture of them dressed up as Mitch for Halloween. It's immediately identifiable.
I mean, are you sure it's just not that our fans are slobs?
Hey, cool Mitch cosplay.
Who's Mitch?
Let me, let me.
Can I just put this out there?
Yeah.
I was a bit of a rascal today.
Just today.
I was a bit of a rascal.
I was a bit of rascal today.
I went a little too far.
I was a little bit of, I was excited to have our guests here.
I went a little too far.
What do you think is the biggest rascal moment?
I was just being a rascal left and right.
You're a little rascally.
And I think the rascal, the rascal activity, the rascal nature is continuing in the aftermath of this podcast, because you're being a little bit of a rascal by going on this solo side mission in and out.
Oh, Amelia's coming.
We're not going to have time.
You guys better go.
Wait, Amelia's coming?
Yep.
Looks like you and me doing an in and out intro likes.
Jen, are you available?
I do trust you.
I do trust you.
Do you trust the bitch magic for once in your life?
I trust you.
That's exactly what I'm doing.
I'm trusting you.
I do want to address a question because Minion's T-shirts was mentioned.
But even that was like an interregnum.
Because if we look at the guest photos from Year 1 of the podcast that I'm in,
my style of time was very like almost preppy or businessman.
I would wear like long-sleeve, collared shirts always.
You dressed like Homer.
I dressed like Bart for the first few years.
Wow.
I feel like I watched your style change a lot over the last 10 years of working for the show.
Yours is more or less, like, consistent, I think.
Yeah, you've really, you've really changed.
She's really changed to stop.
Yeah, I try different things, and I also, I also get more, like, bold, and I feel like
I get to be more, like, my, I feel like you know your own style, and I feel like I...
Hold on.
I feel like you've been experimenting in the last year or so, like, as you've lost weight,
you've bought more clothes and you've been, like, playing around with stuff.
New undies, new clothes.
Yeah, new socks.
New undies.
All stuff that we can really notice.
I feel like you, you have been comfortable.
in your look. And I have been experimenting and discovering my look and also having the boldness
to exhibit the look, to show off the look that I actually want to do. You know what I mean?
Since I've lost weight, I've been wearing like muscle teas and like tighter t-shirts. I have like
three things I wear over and over again. And I like rotating between them. But I used to just very
conservatively and like try to cover myself up as much as possible. And a lot of that is internalize,
you know, a fat kid feelings. Politics. Yeah. Politics. Yeah. But. But, but. But. I just to dress very conservatively
But then over time, like, now I'm just like, hey, whatever I can, it feels like less of a risk to, like, wear something that I feel is maybe a little bit more.
I love it.
I also think it's fun to style yourself.
I think it's fun to shop for clothes.
I've always complimented you on doing it.
There's only been maybe two instances where I'm like, is everything okay with Wags?
Everything else has been great.
Wow.
How do you all feel about it?
Because you are also on camera and that was not originally what you signed up for.
I like it.
It's fun.
I mean, I got no qualms.
I don't think I think about, I think about my outfit.
Yeah, our camera got fucked.
Speaking of my clothes more about like the people I'm going to be around for the day.
Like if we're doing an episode, just us, no guests.
I'm like, I'll wear like leggings and sneakers and not care about it.
But if we have guests in the room, I'm like, well, I don't want to look like him in my pajamas.
You got a compliment.
You got compliments today on the red dress.
I know.
I'm wearing a dress store, which I don't usually do, but it's a fucking hot out.
I like to feel like I'm not wearing clothes.
I will say Wiger's ability to transform his style has been.
me to take risks or try new things with my style too.
Because I'll come into work and Wykes is like,
I'm a linen guy now, or he'll be like, I'm a ring guy now,
or he'll come with like, now he has like four tattoos,
maybe five.
Yeah, you easily slip into other skins.
I like being other guys.
Yeah.
So Wykes is being a little rascal with his,
with the way that he, you know, presents himself.
And I'm like, you know what, maybe I'll,
maybe I'll try new things as well.
Yeah.
Cool.
It's cool.
one of the hosts inspires you.
And the other one has Mitch Magic.
That's true.
What the fuck?
Wait,
let me,
let me,
my dad used to call me the weasel.
You know this.
He would call you the weasel.
He called me the weasel.
Yeah.
He thought,
the weasel.
So I,
look, I am a bit,
I'm being a bit of a weasel today.
From the hammer to the weasel.
Whammer to the weasel.
Why not?
Two wammers.
What's that?
Who called you the wamer?
What's that?
My dad's name was the wammer.
Oh.
I mean,
it was William Anthony Mitchell and people called him
Wammer,
Whammer. But he wasn't, it's funny because I don't like, he wasn't like, I'm the Whammer.
It wasn't like he was like, that's me, I'm the Whammer. It's not like me with Spoon Man or something.
Right. Like he was a normal man. A nice man. Yeah, a nice man. You met him. I loved your dad.
He got sick after you met him.
Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Grudge, Mitch. You've been poisoned.
Let me say one more thing on this topic, which is that I, and I think
this is, again, us being comfortable in our own ways.
Mitch, do your thing, but if Amelia and I are late, it's on you.
If we're recording back-to-back, if we're recording back-to-back episodes,
you will just wear the same clothes and I will bring a different look and change into it
to give kind of like the little bit of the show of like, hey, it was a different day recording
something else.
So it's like, that's just like a, but.
Tadda, and I'm here still.
What do you want from me?
No, but I don't think that's, I don't think either of us are doing anything wrong.
I think that's just like more how we approach this.
I've always, I think that's very sweet that you do that.
I think you don't have to do that.
But I think that you do want to do it.
Yeah, I want to do it.
I don't think that's partially a mental thing.
A different outfit, like, breaks up the two episodes like you're doing two different things.
Yeah, yeah.
There's no way we'll do two bad ones in a row.
No.
Blame it on the shirt.

That's 8304-6-8-4-8-4.
Wait, I just realize one more thing I want to ask you.
I think part of, it seems to me, I could be completely wrong about this.
I will not be a thing I'll ever get to experience.
But, like, I would think part of the fun of pregnancy is, like, as your body changes,
like, you maybe get to do some different looks yourselves.
Was there any fun maternity stuff you got to mess around with?
Or was that just a thing that you were not even worried about that?
I mean, it was kind of fun to be like, yeah, what are, like, pregnant outfits?
For the most part, though, I would say it takes so long for you to actually look pregnant.
And so there's like a long leeway.
And then also immediately afterwards as like you're sort of coming back to like whatever your body will be post-pregnancy, there's like, I would say like the beginning of pregnancy and then immediately following pregnancy are these two weird transition times where you're kind of just like, what do I wear here?
Because it's like not my old clothes and it's not maternity stuff.
Oh, interesting.
So it's like an interesting little like in between.
and that those times were like, you know, it's just kind of like, ah, well, this isn't,
you're just like trying to figure out what's comfortable.
Right.
I rarely relate to this in the way with GLP-1s.
No, it is like.
It is a strange, I'm being sincere.
It's like, no, I agree.
I thought about it too because I, I've never, I've been like pretty much the same size my whole life.
And so it was my first time kind of going through that thing of being like, oh, like,
my body is different now and I have to dress for.
like this version of my body.
And then like, yeah.
So I was just thinking about like people who have like gone up and down and like how
that's just like a very common thing for so many people.
And it's, uh, it's very similar to just be like, yeah, I'm in a transition.
You look great.
You got a beautiful baby on top of all of it.
It was a big, it was a big win all of them.
It was a big win.
And a lovely husband.
Uh, it'll, thank you so much.
Everything okay.
It's too bad he's a pig now.

You're being a rascal.
You got to admit it was funny.
Make me laugh.
It made me laugh.
I feel you guys...
I feel like you guys have to add
an addendum just sort of briefly
just close a loop on how late you were
in and out.
That's a lot.
You're going to be so late for this.
We're, Amelia and I are leaving now.
I'm giving you a hug.
Jen DeAngelo, thank you so much.
We love Jen DeAngelo.
Thank you for doing the show.
Please, please plug away.
Come on you, let's go.
Okay.
I got it, I got it.
Please plug.
Anything you want to plug.
I'd like to plug that I'm the host of Joe Boys now, and you just have to choose
if I'm hosting it with Mitch or Weiger.
They're going to like, they're going to like the solo, Wiger it.
And they're going to be like, yeah, this is the way the show should.
I feel like that.
No, they're not.
They're not.
They don't.
It's the, it's the both of us.
Look, if we ever need a guest host, I know exactly who we're asking.
You deserve it.
If you left to anything, let me know.
I'll bring it.
Said threateningly.
Bye.
Amelia, let's fucking go.
Wow, just like Odysseus.
Okay, now they're going.
Should we talk shit?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, finally.
Do you have any actual plugs?
No.
Okay.
Well, there you go.
Thank you so much for being here.
Hey, thanks for having me.
And that'll do for this episode of dough boys.
And until next time for the Spoon Gow, Jen D'Angelo.
I'm Nick Tiger Wiger.
Happy eating.
See ya.
Bye.
That was a hate gum podcast.
