Starting point is 00:04:08 And we also got Steve's in the building. And the thing is, I want to do something special. I just want to talk about current events. It's something that we don't get to do at Drink Champs, because usually we interview the artists, and then we have to focus on that artist, and that episode will come out, whatever. I want to talk about current events.
Starting point is 00:04:23 There's been a lot of things going on. Before we get into all that we got we got gifts okay okay cool got our own gifts with our own gifts first oh yeah well we got mr. Lee yes that's so good man yeah yeah yeah chances is more than a You know what I'm saying? We are now stinking. Shout out to you, man. You made it, man. We got a size 9 for you, C. Yo, I'm going to keep it all the way true with you. I hated every new one coming out. That bad? That's not the best one.
Starting point is 00:04:53 We got the best one. Make some noise. Let's go. Yeah, we go. That's what we do. We got the shirt to go with your kicks. Let's go with it. Shit's a fire.
Starting point is 00:05:02 We're going to fit you now. Yeah. Y'all like one of the first. No, y'all, the first. Believe it or not, I got the bear on. I don and go with it. Shit's a real issue now. Yeah. Y'all like one of the first. No, y'all the first. Believe it or not, I got the bear on. I don't even know. And even E don't got a bear. But he got like 35 coming to his house though.
Starting point is 00:05:12 So he don't mind. So look, so we're going to get into our brand. No, no, no. We still got presents. Still got presents. All right, cool. Got to shout out my boy A-Hole Sniffs Glue. A-Hole Sniffs Glue is a Miami legend.
Starting point is 00:05:22 He gifted you. He Sniffs Glue? He definitely Sniffs Glue. I respect that. You've he gifted you nice nice glue he definitely says good I'm receiving these guys everywhere in Miami. Okay. He's a graffiti artist. Yes. It was graffiti. That's my dog, right? Hey, how you know I like green Okay, okay, he sent a gift for the 25th anniversary of Crazy Hood. Guys, make some noise for the 25th. Which, by the way, you haven't done the Family Ties episode yet. I could do it one day this week. Okay, you got to do it.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I'll actually, what is it, off the air? Because I don't listen to that or Thugged Out Thursdays. Okay. But I love y'all. No, you just got to talk great about Craziness. I love y'all. So Pitbull sent a case for the 25th anniversary. And you know he got his own vodka, Voli vodka. OK.
Starting point is 00:06:10 We cheating on Puff tonight. Let's do it. He did custom labels for the vodka. Oh, wow. OK. I can't drink this, does that mean? I got a whole lot of stuff going on. He did this one.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Oh. Oh, let's make some noise for Pitbull. Shout out to Pitbull. And I was just whole list. He did this one and then he did this one. Oh. Fire. Oh, let's make some noise for Pitbull and M.O.D. And I was just playing earlier. I do listen to Thugout Thursdays. And what is it? Mado's podcast name? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:33 I don't know. You can't say what is it and say re-nig on it. You got to support. And also listen to Family Ties. You liar. Hey, what? The Humble Podcast. I listen to all they podcasts.
Starting point is 00:06:45 They haven't even put out an episode. So you can't listen to them. You can't listen to something that's not on the show. You can't listen to one. You know what? You listen to the future. You listen to the future. That's how.
Starting point is 00:06:53 So listen guys. Right now in hip hop, it's kind of feeling good. I think it started with, you know, I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry.
Starting point is 00:07:01 I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in the hip hop industry. I was in in hip hop It's kind of feeling good I think it started with It was this Pusha T album Right Daytona
Starting point is 00:07:14 Prior to this This is very recently So like we said We tried to put this audio out immediately So Daytona album comes out And something spectacular happens I get a green cup Two of them I gave you the pitbull cup Yeah alright Alright When the Daytona album comes out, and something spectacular happens, I get a green cup?
Starting point is 00:07:25 Green cup. I gave you the pitbull cup. Yeah, alright, okay. Alright, alright. Something spectacular happens when this Daytona album drops, right? And people are now worried about bars. I think Jay-Z kind of introduced that with the 444 first, and now people are saying bars, they people are, this is something that we come from right?
Starting point is 00:07:48 So now he takes a shot at Drake He takes a shot what's their beef become like what's the beginning of their beef? That's a professional drink channel. Yeah, I know. It's always different. That's how we stay alive in this club. Water is relevant, man. We got to drink a little water before this drink channel. You can't drink a little water. That's bad luck. No, I'm not saluting.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I'm just saying. And that's a Daytona right there, right? Yacht Master 1. That's a Yacht Master 1. Okay, okay. All right, so explain. So Daytona's a watch? Okay, but Daytona's a watch.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Poor people don't know this shit. Okay, okay. I got a Daytona. Hey, wait. Oh, wait. Oh, wait. Oh, wait. Oh, wait.acht Master 1. Alright, so explain. So Daytona's a watch? Poor people don't know this shit. I got Daytona.
Starting point is 00:08:30 So Drake, no, no, Pusha takes a shot at Drake. Drake took a shot at Pusha before. He said a line, something about What Drake took a shot at? He said, niggas I used to look up to like basically Freddy now
Starting point is 00:08:49 How far back does this go always used to say don't I miss you and that each other for a while, you know Especially I've been seeing put them more than Drake like like, you know taking shots more than Jake so This comes out is this album right and Drake goes to the studio with me come on guys yeah he has a new to me all new to me here yes we all knew true he earns a boy stripes who dreams I'm Yeah, even without, even though it was, it was very substantial for a very mean counter, just the fact that he came back,
Starting point is 00:09:34 he got some stripes from our era, because that was, that was from, that was shit that we, that was the way we would have did it. You know what I mean? And most people look at him, like he might have been doing, too busy to do he got right back it was like the next day right
Starting point is 00:09:49 the record came out and that just shows how he he was adamant about coming back but he had to because the shit that pusher put out was super strong and that went straight to the bloodstream so you know i mean i think that's beautiful for the culture. Right. Of hip-hop. You think that was one of Meek's problems? Was that he didn't respond fast enough? So, like, people rolled Meek off because of that? He didn't respond.
Starting point is 00:10:14 See, in this hip-hop world, there's a bunch of different categories and levels. Uh-huh. And the minute somebody say something about you... Right. It's going to be a society that wants you to scratch back immediately. You're going to be dealing with your own emotions. The camp, your camp, the people in the spreader with you every time you scroll down the timeline. So I don't know what's going on in there, but you know I mean, but they want you to come back
Starting point is 00:10:49 Like an R day you had a week right there you had a cup because it wasn't six months later You don't Respond immediately to to it he never responded to it like that people didn't respond to it Ethan was six months worth Ethan was a year worthy so if you if you're one of them people that cook
Starting point is 00:11:15 with the fire on very low and the meal comes out incredible sometimes it's worth the wait alright the world loves a quick response also when they got some substance too like what's going on now.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Right, so Drake makes his response. Everybody's kind of like you know, back on the Drake racket or whatever, right? You can pop this for me. Be careful. You know you'll be stopping your big combo.
Starting point is 00:11:41 What I liked about that too it immediately it was even one-one, though nobody, it wasn't lopsided, it was people felt, yeah, you know what I mean? So that, most of these battles started off 0-2 or 2-0 zip, and it takes a little bit out of it, but this one was like, wah-wah, you know what I mean? Now come back out.
Starting point is 00:12:04 See, if you want to drink you're doing to me trying to get fucked up like that this is the time I can hear anything, man. I can hear anything. I was just trying to get some juice. Nah, come on, man. It's not something. I got some juice, man. Yeah, give me some of that orange juice, man. So now Pusha responds because I guess when he's named Virginia Williams, that was Pusha's fiancée. I did not know that. I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:12:39 The whole world went to Google when Drake said that because I was like, what the hell is this? Yeah. The whole world went to Google when Drake said that. Because I was like, we're having a video. So Drake, I mean Pusha, goes at his mom. 40, heavy, but he went real. When you told, that shit you were saying yesterday, did I go too far? He did an ice-tapping. He did an ice-tapping.
Starting point is 00:13:00 He did an ice-tapping. He was like, what's the problem? Ah! He killed it! I'm sitting in the morning saying just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:13:08 I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:13:16 I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:13:24 I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. really like no no it's war but it's war it's respectful it's like yeah it's hip-hop it's like yeah that's like you gotta go hard i think respect for war too but i think if somebody would have saw somebody somebody valenciaga shirt might have got dirty with that right this one i think they can be on the same elevator. Elevator? I think they can be on the same flight. Yeah, I think they can be. You know what I mean? I don't think it's that.
Starting point is 00:13:49 No hands be thrown. I don't think, I think this is all words and wizardry. All wordplay. Yeah, I don't think that one. I like that.
Starting point is 00:13:57 I don't think they wanna, I think they can be in the same vicinity and there won't be attention. And survival. And mature shit. There'll be more tension
Starting point is 00:14:06 from the fans and the outside. He interviewed with everything. At J. Cole's show he saw that interview with J. Cole. I didn't see it.
Starting point is 00:14:14 I thought that was dope. I didn't see the interview but I thought I didn't see the interview. I thought that was dope. I didn't see the head. It was hype when J. Cole was performing
Starting point is 00:14:21 that record. He out there in the crowd dancing. That started it. He was on stage rocking to Cole White's performance. Stuffing out there in the crowd. That started it. He was on stage rocking the Cole Weiss performing. Stuff like that is beautiful. That's not it.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Yeah. It's not that serious. It's not that serious. It ain't got to be that personal. It got to go to some violence. It can get personal. Yeah. Easy.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Depending on who's dealing with the situation. They hype some bullshit up to be personal that ain't personal. So as a person who's been in like heated battles like that, what happens when a person goes
Starting point is 00:14:48 too far, goes below the belt? I was always taught when, after you knock the stick off my shoulders, I'm going too far. Right. Or break. Or hit. You know what I mean? And that's the best way to earn your edge with the fans and the naysayers.
Starting point is 00:15:06 Just go too far, me. I mean, I haven't been in one of those in a while, but that was always my go-to. When you say something about me, there's no strangers. The gloves is off. I'm going to say the most devious thing I think I can say to hurt your feelings. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:28 You know what I mean? Because that's what it is about. It's about hurting the next guy's feelings, right? When you're in the battle. It has to be about that. It's about making the listener think you hurt their feelings
Starting point is 00:15:38 or properly putting it. You know what I mean? Because I'm sure drink and push is wherever they at yeah they ain't affected at all yeah they got the most effect and you getting this reading the time line and the Texas right flight attendants and why you walk by your way coming so that's the shit that he comes in the audience not messing with you but then personally personally, I think they chilling.
Starting point is 00:16:05 I mean, they chilling. Rob Markman, You think this is going to push the culture forward? Or it always does? The battle always pushes the culture forward? Rob Markman, There's different battles. This right here both got politics. The drinkers are powerful motherfuckers. The pushers down with Ye, they powerful.
Starting point is 00:16:22 So this is not going to be one of our type of battles because this shit might end up in the White House in a few weeks. I mean, it is. Don't tell me. It's going to tell. This could be on Ellen and all. This is one of those things.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Yeah, they're trying to make it. They're trying to make that. This shit could be Sunday Festival and all. They'll be friends in two months. That would be kind of ill, Kanye. They ain't gonna be friends. That's what I'm saying. It's not sweet, but it's not confrontation.
Starting point is 00:16:53 I think Pusha, because the shit that Pusha was saying, put it like this to me, they both said some hard shit. This last record that Pusha just dropped. He put it on another hat. Yeah, he went on a hat. He went into the too far zone. I only heard it off Norwich phone right here,
Starting point is 00:17:11 but I heard it. It was enough that it made me say, oh, he went that route? Yeah. He went. You got to imagine that. You got a son. It's a child out there. I don't even know what border control is.
Starting point is 00:17:24 I just know it's out of town. I was like, what? You know where you're going to go? That's a child. It's a child out there. You know what border control is That's that she I'm saying for the child the child he probably can't cuz you know So these guys battle He spoke about 40 He spoke about Drake moms He spoke about his kid The 40 one hurt me a little The 40 one was too far
Starting point is 00:17:57 The 40 one was too far The 40 The 40 The 40 hurt me a little The 40 hurt me a little It's war The 40 might the 40 hurt. 49 is on. 40 is a good thing. 40 is a good thing. 40 is war. It's war. The 40 might hurt you.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you know, it's war. It's war. So everything goes. Yeah, your camp is involved in all that. You know how when you're moving out, they might get one of your men. So that's... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:21 It's war, man. It's real. Yeah. You got to get it right. You think the real battle that people want to see is Kanye and Drake? Nah. Nah?
Starting point is 00:18:32 Why? I think they like it. Not the Ye of today. I mean, nah, dog. Minus like him supporting Trump. You don't think that. Minus him wearing the MAGA hat. They want to see exactly.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Oh, Ye. They want to see exactly. Oh, yeah. They want to see exactly what's going on now. They would love to see the other Ye. The other Ye. Yeah. Against Drake. Yeah, they would like to see that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:53 But not that. I don't even think. If you call somebody to write for him, you can't even have a battle with that. In today's world, by the second. Drake's doing okay out here, my brother. No, I'm not talking. Drake wrote something for Kanye off when I'm going off the bars he can't have that's kind of like even like they both
Starting point is 00:19:14 had no ghost right they can both like isn't that kind of like even even but take out the ghost riders please yeah I'm not I'm taking that out I'm'm saying if Drake is staying, then he called them for help. Word. I really don't want to battle somebody that I helped. He just said, I just came from Brown Hall. I just finished helping.
Starting point is 00:19:34 He said that. He just wrote for them. But that's where Pusha comes in. He feel like, because he also said something. I'm upset you even said Ye's name. Word. He said, I'm the oldest. He coming out the house.
Starting point is 00:19:49 He the brother that y'all stay in. I'm fighting the battle for the whole family. Man, jump me. Whatever y'all. You know what I mean? So I'm feeling that part of it, too. It's a war. Like I said, it's all, it's all.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Now, everything goes. Anything goes. Now, Steve, the battles you've been involved with is quite serious. My battles with my wax. Yeah. Oh, wow. I love the wax. Wow.
Starting point is 00:20:11 I have no rap records. What was someone who ever went at you and you was like, you didn't expect it? A lot. I mean, pop for one. But I didn't expect them to come at me, though. That's the most infamous battle. It made sense afterwards. Look, I'm a big man. Like you ever was in a club and they just started cutting it up? I Expect him to come at me though. That's the most infamous I'm big man. I like you ever was in the club and they just started four times. You don't want to sit like that. My man, you see me?
Starting point is 00:20:46 Or some don't. Oh, they play the I Don't Know Factor, the Mouthful. It would be the foot of somebody blindsided. Hold on, hold on, hold on. What did you just say, J.J.? It was at a Total Remix video for Kissing You. Somebody bought Big the song song hit him up and he created in the bins right there we was at the house somewhere Long Island to
Starting point is 00:21:10 something he thought that it and he wasn't he wasn't effect he wasn't mad he was a fan he was more mad with it whatever they said about Kim and sees a more than whatever they were saying about him he's like they had a team I was like this nigg hard. He was hard. And then, like, it didn't throw him off for the rest of the day. No effect to it. It was really... To this day, I'm just...
Starting point is 00:21:31 I would be fucked up. I would have to shoot another day. You know, I would have to get out of here. So, was there ever a part of you that wanted the gas big to make his own version of Hit Without question. Can you describe that? I wanted to. We all wanted to be in the response to that record, man. He described that I wanted to
Starting point is 00:21:51 What was that moment like when you when you came I mean it was just regular what's good? I'm sorry to cut you off. Um in the the notorious big We make that from the cops point of view Yeah, when they when you say say to him your niggas pockets talking all this shit I think you should make something for the East Coast. Was that true? Yeah, yeah. But not in that way. I was just like, yo, just any regular.
Starting point is 00:22:14 That's big my nigga. Yo, what's up? You ain't go take that nigga up. My nigga is lying. Big that ball. And he's just like, nah, we good. We ain't going to do that. Like all of us.
Starting point is 00:22:23 Everybody was kind of at his head. Tim wanted to do something. He was going to go make a record. We go there Do that Jim wanted to do something he's gonna go make a record I'm not fucking with y'all. Don't that was like you need to be on do it Yeah, he didn't want to do it and we just kind of you know, he was the boss so nobody even When they question they went against it. It's like if he say chill he called us late. I was doing the play I think I was mad at first when I heard it, but then it's like he not even sure Did you get a seat? I feel no job. It goes a record I think it was a good record like give you took yourself away from it being a diss
Starting point is 00:22:54 Did y'all think it was a good record? I didn't think so at first it over and I just thought it's a record He would just yell in this shit. Just talk about that good See I'm saying but it was other people's like, you know him he said this saying this thing is talking about this his wife and then it's time like oh yeah okay yeah that is foul yeah that is kind of crazy like a Tupac diss record you know that right then what Jay-Z made a Tupac dick and it never came out yeah okay yeah they came out during the time which one huh I forget but I don't know drain would know his dream. Yeah And I think the reason why the record didn't get too much Love because I could came out the week pop died like in Park died on September like third Yeah, this it came out August 29th 13. What?
Starting point is 00:23:37 Okay, we got on the 13th. This shit coming out like Marty September 1st or some shit like that So people didn't really focus on it, but yeah. I always imagined that Big, like what Big's diss record would sound like. Because Big really knew how to make records. Yeah, he really did. And that's the actual key to a mean diss record, is it got to be a mean record first, and then it's a diss record second.
Starting point is 00:24:02 So I always wondered what Big... I think that's part what stopped them, too.'re telling me who shot you could do who shot you was not done way before you know what i'm saying like pop knew about the record he knew about who shot you that's how long that's how long ago it was done when that record came out that's that's what the confusion came from it was just like why would he put out a record like that at that time? But he's a rapper. He's not the one that's going,
Starting point is 00:24:30 I'm putting this out tomorrow. It wasn't the control of music like it is today. You just doing the record. They decided to put it out at that time and you just getting hot. You put the record out not even thinking this is how people are going to perceive it to think that way. So that's not like the first thought like, alright we're going to put this out right now,
Starting point is 00:24:45 while Pac just got shot. That's not your thought. You're just like, yo, we're going to just rock it now. Did anybody in that process think? It only came around when people actually spoke about it. You know what I mean? You won't think about it like that until somebody bring it to your attention.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Like, damn, word. Never looked at it like that, you know what I'm saying? And that was kind of like they situation. Me speaking to the outlaws, that's how they felt. It was just like, you know, to Pac, it was just like, you know, Tupac, it was just like, even if it wasn't true, it was just like, it was just a bad time and everything, like, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:25:10 Like, that could've caused a lot of confusion, but you know, it wasn't no shit. You know, Big didn't even, Big didn't let none of that shit bother him. And I think that's why he chilled, like, because he knew what he can do. Big, they get busy. Like, come on, if I really want to,
Starting point is 00:25:23 come on, I can do that shit with my eyes closed, you know what I'm saying, if he can do. Big, get busy. Come on, I can do that shit with my eyes closed, you know what I'm saying? If he had to. And I think that was a part of him just like, I'm cool. And I wonder if that piss pocked off even more, that- Yeah, I think so. ... that you didn't get with your- Yeah. ... you didn't get it out of him. And then he was still, it didn't do nothing to his
Starting point is 00:25:40 career either, you know what I mean? Big was still blowing, his records was getting bigger and bigger, so Big was like, why do I have to do that? Why do I have to step up my realms of doing what I'm doing and being successful and making money
Starting point is 00:25:50 and then just go and create a whole nother different energy? I'm not going to do that. Well, absolutely. And nobody pressed him. It's not like how people get pressed today for response records.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Like, yo, we didn't have that thing. You know what I'm saying? It wasn't no big deal. Nobody was saying, why big? And then it was a bunch of New York guys responding so they really know like it was no big deal like nobody don't say you're my big and there was a Bunch of New York guys responded, so they really act like yes, we was being thought about they know we more deep They're making practice on
Starting point is 00:26:13 Big with a dead one. I mean it's always wondered what it was sound like you know Because like even more like I see like he like tell stories stories about kicking girls out the crib, it can be so vivid that even before the video, I saw the video in my head. That's how vivid his bars and his lyrics are. He's a great storyteller. So I always just wondered that. Did you ever see that series, Unsolved? Yeah, I watched some of it.
Starting point is 00:26:39 You watched some? I just watched it. LD just put me on to it. He put me on to start watching it. That shit is kind of ill. I used to come out of the room and tell him, yo, man, hit them there. I didn't want to watch it.
Starting point is 00:26:47 I didn't want to watch it for a while. Get out of here. Get out of here. Get out of here. Yeah, well, I didn't know when they ran ass with us. When I went,
Starting point is 00:26:56 I was glued to that show, B. I see that. Yeah, after the first one, I went, right, I'm sorry. I'm going to start watching. That shit was kind of ill. It was interesting
Starting point is 00:27:03 because this is a police point of view. Yeah, yeah. We got everybody else's point of view.. Because this is the police point of view. Yeah, yeah. We got everybody else's point of view. We never really had the police point of view. Now there's the movie now with Homie.
Starting point is 00:27:11 What's his name? Sylvester Stallone or something. No, no. Clarkson Caribbean dude. Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp.
Starting point is 00:27:18 He plays the cop that's the investigator. There's too much movies now. They got to relax. They got to relax. The police got a movie to the movie to the police they were too long they went to water home for this was coming out they just
Starting point is 00:27:35 want to bring the flip to discuss the murders and get solved they just find it I mean if you think about it it becomes an American tale like the Kennedy assassination that one is goes on is When you think about it, it becomes an American tale like the Kennedy assassination. Definitely. And as the years goes on, it's still stuff that gets revealed. It gets crazier. People that probably never said nothing or never spoken before, they older now, they
Starting point is 00:27:54 started to talk or relationships change and people started to talk. So, it's been just different things that pop up every year about big murders. We watch a show just like you said about the police side of them just investigating it. I never knew like, you know what they say? They say like if I know it, then the police know it. They'll be like, yo, because if I know it, the world is running around the hood, the police know it. That's the really first time I've seen the proof. Definitely. Like the information that they were saying, the names that they were using. I'm not going to lie, this was better than everyone I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:28:21 I ain't going to lie. I didn't want to say that. Everyone, for real. I didn't want to say that. I didn't want to say that. Every one. I didn't want to say that. I did not want to say that. When it really was, that shit got me like, oh, word. I was like, word. You never watched any of it yet? I heard that.
Starting point is 00:28:34 I didn't know that was the whole thing. It took me a while. He kept trying to get me to watch it. I was like, turn the channel. See that shit? You know what happened to 89, right? People be on my brand asking me about that shit. I never saw that. With the shoe pocket. And I was like, let me watch it. You know what happened to 8 and 9, right? People be on my brand asking me about that shit. I never saw that first.
Starting point is 00:28:46 I was like, let me watch it. 8 and 9 got sued. Why? Because they reposted a post that all hip hop, I think it was all hip hop, don't quote me on this. They just reposted something and it had that famous photo of Pac throwing out the middle fingers from the car. A cop took that picture. Right before everything happened.
Starting point is 00:29:04 That cop, who's since retired, he copyright took that picture right before everything happened. That cop, who's since retired, he copywrote that picture, and he's suing blogs and websites, anybody that posts that picture of him, and he's suing 89 for like $80,000, $100,000. And they reposted it, and they still are having a hard time fighting that shit. That's how that cop is living his life now. That's nuts. Just making money off that shit. Off of a picture that he took at a cop. You know, just being the hip hop cop taking the picture of that moment before a man got
Starting point is 00:29:29 shot. Shit is weird today, man. I mean people were selling the car that big got killed then, right? Didn't they? The whole state, the whole state got killed. Like who want to ride in that? Like who the fuck want to buy that and ride in that? Word?
Starting point is 00:29:40 Yeah. Yeah. Somebody just go have it, dude. Somebody just go have it. Just to have it. Like you just want to have that, though? Why you want to buy that and ride in that? Word? Yeah. Yeah. I don't want to go to the government. Shit. Somebody just go have it.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Somebody just go have it. Just to have it. You just want to have that then? Why you want to have it? Yeah. I don't want to be here. I don't want to see that fucking truck ever again in life. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Oh, shit. You're saying? Get rid of the model. Everything. All right. Yeah. Stop making it. Who wants to make it?
Starting point is 00:30:04 What the fuck? You know about- Popped up Suburbans. I think I just saw a story, something that J Prince had warned Puff and Big about going to L.A. at that time. Did you hear anything about that? No. I don't know if it comes out in his book or something, but I heard something recently, a story about that. I mean, we was getting that from just anybody that was close to us that knew the situation that wanted us out there. But that's what Big wanted to be. And he was the boss. He ran the ship.
Starting point is 00:30:28 If he wanted to be out there, we out there. You know what I'm saying? There's no ifs, ands, and buts about it. He called the shots. He wanted to be there. He didn't feel like he was in danger. He didn't feel that way.
Starting point is 00:30:38 And that's just how Big didn't live that way. It was really no fear with us. We went anywhere. We did what we had to do. Big was going out getting his bread. He wanted his presence to be felt. He was trying to do his thing. He didn't let none of that stop him because he knew what it fear with us. We went anywhere, we did what we had to do. Babe was going out getting his bread. He wanted his presence to be felt. He was trying to do his thing. He didn't let none of that stop him
Starting point is 00:30:48 because he knew what it was with him. You know what I'm saying? He knew he was pure. He knew he was real from the jump. He wasn't with the bullshit. He just went out there and was just trying to continue to do his music, my nigga. Just try to make a living and do what's right.
Starting point is 00:30:59 We wasn't thinking about being in LA and what if something happened to us. We was there for two months before that happened. That's crazy. All over LA. All over the strip, hanging out, Billboard Live, Bar 85, all the clubs that was popping in. We was in every spot, chilling.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Wasn't really no situation, though. There was just that one day, that one situation. You know what I'm saying? We was out there the whole time, having a good time, chilling. But the Soul Train Awards thing, that was like months before that, right? Nah, Soul Train was a couple of days before yeah yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:31:27 I was out there for that same trip yeah oh yeah he's out there for two months so we just out there just doing wild stuff he was helping puff finish up the last couple records for his album and we just thought they just chill promote now because I was about to come out we I mean we were just sitting there bumping that doing a bunch of interviews and in stores you know niggas don't do in stores no more that's what we was running around doing just promoting the house. They hate in stores What's up, man They open it they want you to sign it. They open it. They want you to sign the inside and the outside. Fuckin' bozos. Get out of here.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Don't call your fans bozos. I'm just saying, fans are love. But the guys who just get online because the other niggas is online, and they just want to take a picture. Those guys, I hate them. I hate them. I hate those fake fans. The real fans are love.
Starting point is 00:32:17 I'm sorry. I went too far. That's how you got into the crazy business. I went too far. I enjoyed that. I kind of missed some of that. What? I was just like, I'm going to go to the gym. I'm going to go to the gym. I'm going to go to the gym. I'm sorry, I went too far. That's how you ended up making crazy moves. I went too far. I enjoyed that.
Starting point is 00:32:25 I kind of missed some of that. What? I missed some of the in stores and all that shit, man. All that stuff was the dope shit to connect with people and all that. Street teams. Well, now you can connect with people with your fingers. That's not real connections, man. It sucks.
Starting point is 00:32:37 It's horrible. It's the world we live in. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. We can't do shit about it. with your fingers just sitting there it sucks it's horrible it's the world we live in
Starting point is 00:32:48 we can't do about it man for real you can't do about it man do you ever did you ever look at any other genre of music and they don't have a pocket and a big story like they don't have these neat male drink stories that's the story that stories. That's the evidence drawing today. But why is it only hip-hop that we have to have beef, and we have to prove that we're kind of better than the next person to prosper? Why do we have that mentality? Facts. I mean, with hip-hop, though, that's different,
Starting point is 00:33:24 because that's actually like it's a business I guess when you see other rappers be successful that's the that's kinda what you grasp for like
Starting point is 00:33:33 if he's number one you wanna be just as big as him nah but the media the media will blow it up hip hop's the only shit that they they put demographic
Starting point is 00:33:44 tag on. West Coast. Because the media made that up. The East Coast, West Coast. There's no East Coast rock and roll. There's no West Coast pop. So they put us in the... They wanted to...
Starting point is 00:33:58 They're trying to genocide hip-hop. They categorize it. They categorize it and they love the beefs and they hope every shit turned out like pocket big. Starting point is 00:38:32 I'll say Queens. No one ever says New York. No doubt. No one ever says that. I think that's New York. Cali? They say where at? They say I'm from Cali?
Starting point is 00:38:45 I say I'm from Cali or from LA. I don't think they're as hardcore as you guys in New York. I think New York is... You guys do that the most. I charge that to Brooklyn. Because I say that from Miami. You don't motherfuckers do that on Brooklyn. They was wild proud to be from Brooklyn, right?
Starting point is 00:39:02 I'm my head. I'm my head. I'm Brooklyn in the house. Niggas be saying, yeah, you think to be from Brooklyn, right? I might have to. I might have to. I might have to. Starting point is 00:39:29 That's that's that's all the swag New York is really big So you can't really say New York if you go down from New York, you can be from Buffalo. Yeah, but it's still The city and the house in jail is connected by the way, we might need to do painting that he over here somewhere Minus in the building baby, but I miss you baby, but I can so um yeah you when you say New York, but It's mainly New York people who want you to break down Where you're from like you don't just say we don't meet each other at the bar and say, hey, what's up, my man? How you doing? Yo, I'm from New York. Yeah, where you from? I'm from New York. And then we just let the conversation go.
Starting point is 00:40:12 You have to be specific. We're like, nigga, where you at? We're part of the group. And then when you tell them to burrow, we're like, where's this from? You from Queens? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's right. We're like, what's up? Yeah, mm-hmm, mm- that? Is that only New York? Or other people do that? No, that's only New York.
Starting point is 00:40:26 That's only New York. That's only New York. That's New York. That's New York. So you meet a dude, like if you have a pause, that's how we're going. You're at the bar, you're chilling. You know, you have a conversation. The guy says, hey, what's up, man?
Starting point is 00:40:34 How you doing? What's up? He says, hey, where you from? I'm from Miami. I'm from Miami. Oh, I'm from Miami. And then your conversation just dies. No, there's a difference.

Starting point is 00:41:16 North side, west side, you know what it's like. No, no, I can't listen. It's a different side of Queens. It's two parts. You Jamaica, you over here, Corona Queens. It's a different side of Queens. It's two parts. You Jamaica, you over here, Corona, Queens. It's different. Nah, y'all go too far. Y'all go too far.

Starting point is 00:42:23 It's level. You got to balance it. So you can still have the aguas. You won't have some pain in there as well, nigga. You know what I'm saying? Happy birthday, nigga, and all that. Word it up. Listen.

Starting point is 00:48:04 Supremacy I As he supports Trump, he's supporting white supremacy. I won't say that. You don't think he's legit? I don't know why I think he's got some other alternative. I think he's showing the slavery stuff. I think he's promoting his album. The lady that he supports. I think Q said about the 400 years of slavery. I think that was the more thing.
Starting point is 00:48:24 Yeah, that was idiotic. He didn't say a the 400 years of slavery. I think that was the more thing. I think. Yeah, that was idiotic. That was idiotic. We didn't talk about Trump no more. No, he didn't say 400. He said a choice. He said slavery. Yeah, that thing was a choice. But you know that he, I mean, I'm definitely not going to try to fuck this up, but he meant
Starting point is 00:48:35 it as like the whole like mind thing that we're all enslaved by media and all this crazy shit. Yeah, but that wasn't a place of choice. No, no. He didn't say it right. It shouldn't have been said the way he said it. You can't do that at TMZ. You can't. No, definitely not on TMZ not a go

Starting point is 00:49:22 That's what Kanye said. You ain't going to hit me if I walk over there, right? You ain't see that? He said that? He said that. You you ain't gonna hit me if I walk over, right? You ain't see that? He said that? He said that. You ain't gonna hit me if I walk over. Nah, he ain't say that.
Starting point is 00:49:29 No, he didn't say that. No, he didn't say that. He didn't say that. He said that. He's like, no, no. And Kanye walked over and he gave him a hug. And I swear to God, boy, he like, because Homeboy's movements still provided.
Starting point is 00:49:39 He handled it well, and he still kept it hood. He kept it articulate, but he was like. And Kanye knows those Chicago moves right there. You know what I'm saying? And he sounds like a little like, nigga, motherfucker, I'm ready to speed. He sounded like that. That's why Kanye had to end with that.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Like, man, you ain't gonna hit me, right? Right, yep. Let me come give you a hug, because you dead right. So what do we think? He's our first black person that I know that we love. Support Trump.
Starting point is 00:50:08 Like, outright. Was there other people? Jim Brown. Like, to me, you know, Jim Brown's great. Jim Brown's supportive enough. Well, he came and met with him. He's great. Meeting with him is different than supporting him.
Starting point is 00:50:17 But he didn't diss him when the cameras was downstairs. He's supposed to say. Maybe he just wanted to give a chance to that conversation. Because he was into it. It's kind of supportive. I don't know, man. I don't think you can make it that easy. I would have to say that. I would have to say if I come to your pop-up shop and I buy a hat,
Starting point is 00:50:32 it's called support. I don't even care. I'm not going to leave your pop-up. I could leave your pop-up shop and say, I'm never wearing this hat again. But for that day, I put on that picture, it's still support. It's just like your haters who stream your music and hate you. They stream your music thinking they're not supporting, but put on that picture. It's still support. It's just like your haters who stream your music and hate you. They stream your music thinking they're not supporting.
Starting point is 00:50:49 But, nigga, you're supporting. You're supporting. It was the beginning right when he got elected. It wasn't like after the fact. But he got elected on those politics, though. He got elected on those racist politics. So, regardless of what, everybody called him a coon. Steve Harvey, too. But Kanye went too far he will come in visiting with him and that he visited
Starting point is 00:51:09 with him and then he goes back already so it's not nothing new economy but is that a smack that I guess that's my question is that a smack to our coaches face and I'm not saying black people I'm saying our culture cuz hip-hop to me is a race no doubt you know i'm saying is that a smack to our hip-hop culture no i won't say i mean everybody got the right to their opinion in their situations i i don't think that default type of shit like that you know even though i disagree with him i'm like right fuck it he the asshole for saying it or believing that that's what you think right no i'm not but you know what that's that's you you you can voice yours
Starting point is 00:51:43 support what you support you do that you know i'm saying i don't but you know what? That's you. You can voice yours. Support what you support. You do that. You know what I'm saying? I don't really, you know, I don't be, you do your thing. I don't really care less about that bullshit. You know what I'm saying? I really enjoy, I fuck with him on the music shit. That's all I really care about.
Starting point is 00:51:55 Yeah, I like his music. All the politics side of it, it's like, my nigga, you saying some asshole shit, but that's you. You got to deal with that, not me. And there's mental health issues that we don't understand that could be in any gorgeous. I don't know You know say that I just I feel like he hasn't been the same since his mother passed away I feel like excuse me. I told you she's in the book of nuisance So again excuses is useless in the book of nuisance We just was actually Illuminati dinner too I was part of it. I was there.
Starting point is 00:52:46 I was a part of it. This thing is nice. Yo, we're going to go back to Kanye. We're going to go back to Kanye. But have people ever accused you of being down on a boomerang? Yeah, I've seen comments of that. But why do they? From a certain way your hands are, shirt you got on, standing next to a piece of art that you don't even know what the fuck it is.
Starting point is 00:53:11 Like you're showing signs. Listen, when Mayday did the record with Lil Wayne, we did the video. That video came out and in the comments they said, that's it, this is Lil Wayne's in the Illuminati, because Mayday was some white-looking dudes with a guitar, that dude had a shirt that had something that had something that had something, and they connected it all.
Starting point is 00:53:34 It convinced me that they were in the Illuminati, and I managed those dudes. But what really, what is the Illuminati? You know what I, first off is the Illuminati First off If you ever read the pale You gotta read the pale horse And you gotta read things like that But people don't read that
Starting point is 00:53:50 People just think Illuminati is something that You don't read It's a easy way To say To say you didn't work hard It's kind of A smack to your face
Starting point is 00:53:59 Like when people say You don't know This is just saying You ain't work hard But cause You making it look like It's just as easy But niggas Niggas work hard. But because you're making it look like it's just as easy. But niggas work hard.
Starting point is 00:54:07 What the fuck you mean? They think you had a plug or something, like you just knew you plugged into these Illuminati people. His people making excuses for their lack of success. For their lack of success. For their lack of creativity. The only reason you made it is because you must have been an Illuminati. That's it. That's all it is, man.
Starting point is 00:54:25 That's a skit, bro. That's it. People say it so much. I'm like, who is it? Who's the founder of this shit? You know, because you find the founder of everything these days. You know, the founder of Dunkin' Donuts. You get the meat of the everything.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Who's the founder of Illuminati? Where did it start? I know the founder. Where did it come from? Who brings it? How do you get in? The conspiracy is the conspiracy, bro. You just keep going.
Starting point is 00:54:41 You just keep going. You just keep going. You just keep going. You just keep going. You just keep going. You just keep going. You just keep going. You just keep going. Who's the founder of Illuminati? Where did it start? Ain't no founder. Where did it come from? Who brings it? How do you get in? The conspiracy is the conspiracy, bro. They're just, you just keep on. Can a broke nigga get into Illuminati?
Starting point is 00:54:51 Can a broke nigga go in there and start listing paper? I'm just saying, the motherfucker that every day is like, it's a conspiracy. I said, stop with the conspiracy. Because that's what's fucking you up. You ain't moving forward. Because you're constricting. You in a loop, motherfucker. Get out the loop, dude. That's what's fucking you up. You ain't moving forward
Starting point is 00:55:25 Now that's why I don't even show, man. I hate entertaining shit like that. Dan Kim's big in being a woman, Artie. We hip hop. We don't need to be entertaining that type of shit, man. That's not our lane of shit. I'm a curious nigga. I'll be listening to all that shit. I came from N.W.A. I'm a fuck the Polo. You a straight dog.
Starting point is 00:55:38 We never distinct the other side. This ain't where I come from. I don't like to entertain none of that shit. Bad enough I don't know about it. I don't like to entertain none of that shit. Bad enough I don't know about it. I don't check for that type of shit. I'm on YouTube watching other shit. First 48. I'm looking at real shit that's going on.
Starting point is 00:55:54 Stop watching that, Cease. Stop watching that. That's mad depressing. I ain't see what the fuck I be doing. He's like, for fun I watch First 48. Yeah, but I'll stop watching that shit. I was even doing. He's like, for fun I watched First Party. Yeah, but I'm just gonna watch out. I'll watch that shit for like two weeks one day and I'll be like, what am I doing? Fuck I wanna see what this is all killed for.
Starting point is 00:56:15 I just went and watched the first season and it got 17. Yeah. How do I show that long stay on? That murder is entertainment. That murder is entertainment. That's crazy. That's fuck up. How I show that long stay on to show my money? That murder is entertainment. That murder is entertainment. That's crazy. That's fucked up. Because you know what's entertaining?
Starting point is 00:56:28 To see the crazy shit that people would do out here. And them niggas be ragging immediately. That type of shit. Alonzo get in the room and be like, I'm holding it down. Police come in and be like, I got a bag of bogeys for you, nigga. You gonna be out here 20 years. Alonzo be like, I'm dead. It was Jeffrey from such and such on the 8th Street and he got the gun right now.
Starting point is 00:56:38 And I'm like, I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead's gonna be like, I'm getting, it was Jeffrey from such and such
Starting point is 00:56:46 on 8th Street and he got the gun right now. I'm taking it away. And the cameras be right there. And listen, I mean,
Starting point is 00:56:55 it's like drink champs. Like, at the wild first, we interview people, they realize the cameras there. Then you get drunk at the wild, they just like,
Starting point is 00:57:02 oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Starting point is 00:57:04 oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
Starting point is 00:57:04 oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, while, they just like, oh! Did I say that? That was in real life. Did I go too far? Did I go too far? That was in real life. Yo, that's dead the truth. But at least we're alive and no one's life is ruined the next day. These people's lives
Starting point is 00:57:20 will be ruined. Spear yourself. No, I mean, like, forever. Your life is ruined for that night. You know what I'm saying? Pick up the Todd Lippin quality. I just remember that night. You know what I remember? Just when I thought about that night when he came. Because he was trying to hold it down.
Starting point is 00:57:33 But you know you can't drink Tiger Bone and be normal, right? Like, it's just not how. It wasn't just Todd Lippin. A couple people. No, I just thought of him. I'm just saying. It just came to my mind. Like, that's when you know you got it, nigga.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Like, when you hit the Tiger Bone, like. Oh, we got Tiger Bone, by the way. talking about that's cool like no one's to say that you saw this is horrible keep it real like negative so when you say this is cool I got you already I'm like I'm there one yeah no but I'm sorry I'm really with three more yeah so I got and then he went and he went but the other one was funny was David Banner come on yo it was David was sitting there talking you You know Dave, he talks.
Starting point is 00:58:25 You know Dave, when he get into it. That's my brother, man. That's my brother. Great guy. There's one little drip that come down first. He like, he's in. He's in. He's in.
Starting point is 00:58:34 You got to. Tiger ball, tiger ball dripper. He's going to be here for a minute. You know what I'm saying? So I knew that. And E for some reason. No, don't say for some reason. No, no, no, no, no, no. wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. He's going to be a dog. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You're going to understand this. You know at the end of the show we take pictures, right? So the show ended, so I just took the stool away
Starting point is 00:59:00 from behind him because we're going to stand up and take pictures now. He's going to. Oh, he's gonna bring it up. We can't kill the black. We need some condoms. Help him up. And David Banner, I know his hip still ain't right. Oh, man. I know his hip still ain't right.
Starting point is 00:59:38 That's all, brother. Let's big up Tyler and Kweli. Let's big up David Banner. It was very fun. That's what makes this show dope. I enjoyed Ergadi's shit too. Ergadi was from zero to a hundred. I watched that one straight through.
Starting point is 00:59:58 The first time I watched it. Usually I gotta cut it off after an hour like we gonna eat first, come back to it. But he should be, you know, be up here, cause you get drunk, you get mad, be low. You got shit for six hours, like yo. Let me tell you something about Herb, right? It was the time of my day, man. I'm talking about Bronx niggas. We used to take, we used to take extra seats, right? I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom.
Starting point is 01:00:25 I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom.
Starting point is 01:00:33 I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom.
Starting point is 01:00:41 I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. I ain't mom. fuck happened? See, that's the truth. That's the truth. Take it on Monday, Wednesday, you know. My bad. Who was he talking about? I was into that.
Starting point is 01:00:54 Hold on. Irv Gotti. Irv Gotti. So listen, as Irv is drinking and smoking, I see the ecstasy and the molly come back out of his system. I seen it come back, like, boom. And he was just on it, even though he was not on it there. He was on it. It just came back.
Starting point is 01:01:12 It came back. Go, Irv. I gave him another shot. I gave him my blunt. And I was like, this is your blunt. The blunt did it. The blunt did it. Yeah, I think that's what happened.
Starting point is 01:01:22 The blunt did it. And he drank. He started. You gave him that blunt. Shit changed. Yeah. I ain that's what happened. The blunt did it. And he drank. He started, you gave him that blunt, shit changed. Yeah, and I ain't going to lie. I don't always smoke that weed. That's a $700 ounce weed. Don't blame it on that.
Starting point is 01:01:32 No, listen. So look, I only rolled like five of them. I put them to the side. And when Irv grabbed one, I said, no. What was the problem? What was the problem? But I sent it inside. I sent it inside because I was like, you know, you you gotta treat your guests right. So I'm like, mmm, damn, Irv, that's what you wanted? Like I could've gave you some Reggie.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Because I knew he was going to smoke it. So he tried to smoke it like a cigar. He wasn't going to inhale, which was ill. But you know, when that real, that high grade, that real shit, you don't die in hell, my dude. It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down.
Starting point is 01:02:10 It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down. It's gone down.
Starting point is 01:02:10 It's gone down. It's gone down. Shit really fuck with you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did you see when he started coughing? I got him, I got him. That's my guy, man. Because, you know, smokers, when people who don't smoke, if they smoke and then they cough,
Starting point is 01:02:20 that cough is finished. Yeah. They all smoke. And when you cough, you lose like, you're hearing your brain and shit. And he looked at me and said, is he okay? Because he didn't look okay.
Starting point is 01:02:33 His man, his man was trying to stop it. He was trying to not even smoke. His man was like, it's time to go. It's time to go. But that's a dope episode. Thank you for watching. No, that was great. I'll be tuned in all the time. That was a great one though. Alright, so look y'all. I got a good friend of mine. This is a slight turn.
Starting point is 01:02:54 You know where I'm going? Let me think if I know where you're going. I got an idea. Wait, tell me your idea. I want to see if you know. Stick, think. Just say it. Give me a hint. I got all that. I don't know how to say it in English. Say it in Spanish. I want to see if you know I got a friend named Trevor and trouble comes meets us one day Travis says yo man kind of stressful day and So we like what you know tell Sonny to come over like Sonny never has a stressful day
Starting point is 01:04:02 Except when he breaks glasses on my balcony, he's not welcome. But anyway, so Trevor's like, hey. Boom, boom, boom. He's like, yo, you know, shit is well. My ex-wife, she's getting remarried. So we're like, hey, bro, like, whatever, man. You know, we just naturally. Like, man, fuck that bitch.
Starting point is 01:04:20 You know what I'm saying? It's just natural to say that. Like, nigga, move on. Nigga, move on. What, you gassing up? You know what I mean? Like, what are you doing? Man, no. So Sonny goes off. Son know what I'm saying? It's just natural to say that. Like, nigga, move on, nigga. What, you gassed up? You know what I mean? Like, what are you doing? Man, no.
Starting point is 01:04:27 So Sonny goes hard. Sonny's like, what? Boom, boom. So he goes, yeah. She's engaged to the prince. Because, you know, usually, usually you want your chick to move on with the bus driver and shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:42 Like, the nigga that, the nigga that delivers UPS. Where is this going, man? You don't want your chick to leave you again. And you were like, oh, come on. Damn, bitch, you really up for this. Oh, your bitch get what? The prince? I'm sorry, because I didn't mean to call a bitch like that, because Trevor's my man.
Starting point is 01:05:09 But, so the Royal Reddingers went down. This is my man's ex-wife. This is dead. Oh, you're talking about the real prince. The real prince. Yeah. I thought you was making up metaphors for me. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:21 This is the real shit. Oh, you told me this story. This is the real shit. You told me this story. This is a real shit. You told me this story. This is. So he came to heaven. No, he's sick. Listen, he came to second.
Starting point is 01:05:30 He came to second. He came to second. He came to my man, boy. This is, we all. Look, look, look, look, look. This is the day, this is the day that the story broke. What's her name? Megan, right?
Starting point is 01:05:38 Yeah. Megan. This is the day the story broke. The day the story broke. This is the day the story broke. Let me find out Drink Champs got royal roots. Let's go. Yes, we do. Actually, yeah, we affiliated, nigga.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Yo, so this is the day the story broke. So, Paparazzi was actually by his crib. So, he wanted to, he wanted, he was like, yo, let's get together. So, we went to this little Irish bar. Like, you know, no one, you know, there ain't no Paparazzi out here. This is like in L.A. on some, you know. So, we still don't know so he so he breaks He's like oh, yes, there's a prince so sonny goes you know what my bitches leave me
Starting point is 01:06:15 He goes no he goes they be fucking frogs He said, nigga, you should feel good. He said, man, I'm making my dick feel good. He said, yo, that sound like a reality show. My man just sold the reality show to Fox That's a good guy Trevor what's going on you a strong guy people in your position would have hung up But I also been in trouble's other girl house she got an 18 million dollar house and Malibu so trouble You need to write a book if you are here to follow you and he got that he got the Hollywood here to keep me like that I'm a Man Doug Banker, oh some good people
Starting point is 01:07:22 Don't make you did a movie with him on the Worldstar movie. Oh yeah. It hit me, I couldn't do it. I said I gotta give it to my man. Goddamn, look at him, I'm like an Asian on a log. Goddamn, make some noise for him. Make some noise for him, goddammit. I said it's your own business.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Give it to my homie, my nigga. Come on. That's it, man. Pick up the Drink Champs Network. Who else we got a lot not never Big big man, oh big up the doctor Dream dream big them up family time. I'll, what you said? Come on, nigga said the huck over, you put a K in there, you gotta buy it. Nigga put a K in hungover.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Come on, 2019, 2019. Nigga put a K in hungover, you would hate it if someone came over to do much, my nigga. I'm not gonna lie. Nigga put a K in everything, you gotta relax. I was worried that somebody might take the idea we had as the hangover, so thank you for being a lyric and doing the hungover. It's Huck Owe with a K. Huck Owe with a K.
Starting point is 01:08:32 I like that. I like that. So with this era of hip hop right now, this era of hip hop, even the melody music, would this be considered classic rap eventually? Would this be considered a classic era eventually? I don't think so. I think it's generational week. We can't say that We can't say shit about it. It's not our generation. We can't say that at all Why we all feel we all heads? I just we did this other people that's growing up off right now, but
Starting point is 01:09:02 Now there's a difference though because there is kids that grew up at some point even when we was growing up off right now. But the difference, now there's a difference though. Because there is kids that grew up at some point, even when we was growing up. I remember we knew that Bob Marley was classic, and we didn't grow up on Bob Marley. We knew the Beatles, like kids who the Beatles would throw for the Elvis or whatever. Because they knew it just. But there's certain kids that know.
Starting point is 01:09:19 I think it's going to be certain songs and certain artists that's going to be classic. Certain artists, you're right. Not the whole era or all of them. Yeah, you got some successful people that made it. Yeah, definitely. That's going to make it. Like Big N' Pac, forever.
Starting point is 01:09:33 Forever, yeah. You know, we're going to permeate. How about these new kids? I always think about that. Who's going to be the next generation of that? I think Kendrick is going to be one of those. I think Kendrick, J. Cole potentially could be one of them. I believe that, yeah. That's when I talk about those. I think Kendrick, J. Cole potentially could be one of those. I believe they did, yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:47 That's when I talk about those, Chance the Rapper, you know. But even Migos. Even Migos. Migos, yeah. I like the Migos shit, man. Migos is going down in history. As groups. They're breaking some numbers, you know what I mean, with their own.
Starting point is 01:10:02 But do we have numbers? Not even numbers. They came with their own language. They shifted shit. They shifted the culture. That's what makes you time. I think it's Atlanta. Atlanta culture too. Yeah, but they like to top off.
Starting point is 01:10:20 No, no, I know what I'm saying. That's a whole different thing. They made Atlanta culture. That's them. You know what I'm saying? That's a whole different thing. They made Atlanta culture. That's them. You know what I'm saying? They made the world see how they give it up, how they dress, how they make songs. That shit went out of Atlanta and went to the whole world. They connected.
Starting point is 01:10:41 Wow. They just go there, went there, and stayed, and lived. Other demographics love that shit. You know the ones that's kind of going to be classical, you can kind of just see it and what they're doing there. You know the ones. We're talking about it. Right. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:10:57 You know you're going to talk about the ones that's going to be here for 10 to 15 years. That's the thing I'm talking about. Who's going to run for the next 10 to 15, or have that history where they got a good 10 and they forever after that you know I mean you know you you gotta think of when they go for it on that level of having a career it's not a lot like I don't all yourself where you eat you could come through quick get a hot pocket crazy you could have a whole career and nobody know who you are Tech tech tech night Denzel Curry from Miami. We got a couple artists like that. There's a couple like like joy badass I mean join us
Starting point is 01:11:37 Different time in that sense the machine doesn't control it where it's all over the place, but they find they are Success no doesn't control it where it's all over the place, but they find their audience and they got a million people. You don't need the commercial success to get bread now. Right, commercial success. You don't need the radio no more. You don't need mainstream radio. If your presence is social media, you're good. This audience, you never going to hit on the top eight. None of that shit that's eating.
Starting point is 01:11:53 But that might change what dictates who people remember 10 years from now. That fact. Do you want to feed your family, or do you want to be remembered? No, no, it doesn't matter. You're right. You're right. You're right. You're right. But history is made with people you remember. feed your family or do you want to be remembered? No, it doesn't matter. But history is made with people you remember.
Starting point is 01:12:10 Facts. Let's drop. It's good points. Listen, man, you know what? I'll credit me being able to set the new generation with me spending a lot of time in Miami. Because in New York, you you know until recently they they embraced the whole culture but when I started to move out here I could I knew I couldn't just only hear Nas I knew I couldn't only hear Big I knew I could I knew I had to adapt my so but I started
Starting point is 01:12:38 to sit out here and I just like the records that the bitches bounce to you know I'm saying the girls are going like this I'm like oh okay that shit is cool to. You know what I'm saying? The girls is going like this. I'm like, oh, okay, that shit is dope. Yeah, it's kinda like it's cool. Like, it was crazy that when I first heard Juvenile Ha, I was in New Orleans. So I got to appreciate that record first more than anyone else because I seen it from their culture. Sure, rockin', yeah. From their culture.
Starting point is 01:12:56 When I first heard certain different records, like certain records that came from Atlanta and I happened to be in Atlanta, those records identify with it more. You know what I'm saying? Would that ever come back again? Because the world is so small. Starting point is 01:43:34 I could fight with G. Give me a light, Wood. So what do you think happens from here? Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall.
Starting point is 01:43:42 Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Push me to the wall. Give me a light, would? So what do you think happens from here? What's your response? There's a Mimi there that's going crazy. There's a Mimi? Come on, yo. Yo, Mimi. Oh, shit.

Starting point is 01:45:07 That was a, that was a, no, no. We didn't understand that one. You gotta actually see it. Get it back to the phone. So what happens from here? Pusher threw a shot. Drake threw a shot. They considered it 1-1.
Starting point is 01:45:21 Now Pusher drops his record. I think everybody thinks those bars is phenomenal. Now what happens from here? Does Drake? Drake's gonna drop another one for sure. He's dropping back to back now. I think I wish I dropped this record. I think everybody thinks those bars is phenomenal. Now what happens from here? Does Drake- Drake's going to drop another one for sure. He's dropping back to back now. I think so. Now he's going to drop a melody, bass record where people can sing along.
Starting point is 01:45:33 That's what being back to back ill is. People can be like, back to back. That's a diss record. You're like, oh shit, you forgot. This nigga's going crazy. But you're like, nah, that's not that bad. You know what I mean? For real, you would have danced to this shit.
Starting point is 01:45:43 Me too. I would have danced to this shit. I would have danced to this shit. I would have danced to this shit. As a dis-director, you're like, oh shit, you forgot. This nigga's going crazy. But you're like, nah, nah, nah, man. You know what I mean? Like, for real, you would have danced to the shit if Meek was in front of you. You would have been like, oh, man. They're like, oh, shit, Meek, what the hell? Drake needs to do bars.
Starting point is 01:45:56 Drake needs to do bars. I think he needs to go in on some bars shit. I think he's ready. I think, listen, don't sleep on Drake. No, I'm not telling you. I'm just saying, I think that's his. What, you're going to belly-sling him out? Man, you know what I mean? I think that think listen don't sleep on Drake. No, he don't? Yeah, I think so. I think so. I think he's killing.
Starting point is 01:46:29 Because you're going to keep wanting to fight with him. That's why he keep responding. Like, he might go, I'll address that. It's cool. The way it's going is you got to come out swinging, dog. Niggas is landing majors. You don't think there's a point where you stop being a puppet of audience and you say fuck it
Starting point is 01:46:47 we don't know he't talking about his moms at 40. He's talking about his moms at 40. Drake might shave his head. Pharrell might catch a straight. Pharrell might catch a straight. I'm telling you. Pharrell might. 41 might have hurt him more than his mom.
Starting point is 01:47:16 They might. You know what I mean? Pharrell. Pharrell. This is what I'm talking about. The situation when they just hooking off on the man. Yeah, they got to hook off on Pharrell. I'm hooking off on Tony. I'm hooking off on Tony man. Yeah, nigga had to hook off on him for real. I'm hooking off on him totally.
Starting point is 01:47:26 I'm just keeping it real. Goddamn. Right, Mike? Nah, I don't know about that. No, I'm just saying. You know what I mean. What is this? What is this?
Starting point is 01:47:36 What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this?
Starting point is 01:47:44 What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? What is this? What he was saying was, earlier in the convo, I was saying to the congregation that it's war and nobody's safe. The way he just called out 40 and his moms and all of them. And his pops. He said his pops left at five. Yeah, it went there. How he knew that? He might throw his pops.
Starting point is 01:48:04 Jake might throw his pops on the track. Word. Word. That's how ill he is. As an outsider, let me ask something as an outsider. You ain't no outsider, nigga. I ain't even this track. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 01:48:14 I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 01:48:18 I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 01:48:22 I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just do. That's the DJ. That's even worse. If you didn't listen to a live track. But you guys had to stay prop beef.
Starting point is 01:48:30 Okay. What stopped that? Like, what was it when it stopped? When y'all talked to each other? The Lord. Because the Lord was your shepherd. Come on, shepherd boy. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:48:42 That's what I'm saying. This wasn't like that because that could have got. They could have harmed us or we could have harmed them. So what stopped it? You know what I'm saying? Jesus Christ. No, okay. No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:48:57 I mean, it came a time where we, no. I went and seen, I went and seen you I went and seen all of them and as Riverside Park it was a peace rally or something right maybe go down in and they talk to but at that time I'm saying I had a big gun on me that's how that was the time like any thing they ain't gonna have guns on this is It's gonna be a war the word. Well, I think they have the Donny and Stephen Victor strapped up right now with black cards And I respect them for not being on that.
Starting point is 01:49:45 You know, world changes and shit is different. Definitely. I think sometimes we don't. Sometimes the more hype around something creates... And then that too. The media is... But the hype is around y'all. You're going to have to...
Starting point is 01:50:00 Because what are you going to do? Are you really going to go out there and... It was in the streets. For the whole world to see, you know what I mean? Even though it wasn't, because the shit started from out. It wasn't nobody's family. Nobody, wasn't nothing really to have beef over, but just as everybody in your head turns into fuck rap,
Starting point is 01:50:20 now I want to shoot one of these people. Now that I think about it, Jada, you might have been, you might have been one of the first disrespectful bars. Like, you said some shit on the bars, hard knock life to hugging your moms. You was like the nigga who brung niggas' mamas into this. Like, that was you. Now that I think about it, who should have got that from you? Let me explain. You need to relax.
Starting point is 01:50:52 No, I'm just saying. Let me explain that part. He's a jerk. He's a greaseball. I was telling you. I was just telling you. This is my guy. This is my guy.
Starting point is 01:51:03 Like I was just telling you. EFF. Yeah. It was different. EFN. It was different. It was different. You know what I'm saying? Because the single, the shit with single really affected me because I felt like that was my homie. You know what I mean? And I know there was something behind that.
Starting point is 01:51:22 They even pushed them to do that. There was shit behind everything we all know. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah, and, but, at the Hard Knock Life tour, I met his mom. They got me on video hugging his, you know what I mean? When they had to do, when I, I know his mom.
Starting point is 01:51:41 His mother's a beautiful lady. She showed me, yeah. We love her. She's a beautiful lady. God bless her. So, you know what I mean? I just. But that's a beautiful lady. She showed me. You love her. She's a beautiful lady. God bless her. So, you know what I mean? I just... But that's...
Starting point is 01:51:48 In the heat of battle, that's what you have to kind of do. You have to take a moment like that that's kind of beautiful and switch it on to artists. Yeah, Eminem style. Eminem style. Ooh.
Starting point is 01:51:59 Eminem said that all the bad shit about himself. His own mom. He said about himself. He gave me this his mom. He's like, I give this my mom. He gave this his own mom. What the fuck are you doing? You can say about his self. His own mom. Yeah, he said about his self. He can't even diss his mom. He's like, I can diss my mom. He diss his own mom. What the fuck can you do?
Starting point is 01:52:08 You can say about his moms and baby moms. He killed his all that shit, so it's going to be hard to say something about him. He already killed it. That's real shit, though. That's real shit. That's real shit. That makes a motion for real shit, though.
Starting point is 01:52:23 Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! It's real shit. It's real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit.
Starting point is 01:52:29 Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit.
Starting point is 01:52:37 Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. Make some noise for real shit. So this game
Starting point is 01:52:46 Do you see some of these guys That are like the new new guys I'm not talking about the Coles and the Kendricks But do you see other legends That people who's going to be around here For quite some time Like I have to tell you the truth I'm going to be honest
Starting point is 01:53:02 Donald Glover Donald Glover like him at all That's what I know, man. That's why I didn't know who y'all was talking about. Remember the story? I know him. But like, this is America. That shit hard. Killed him. That shit, he made me a fan. Like, I very seldomly ever do that. When I sit, I was like, I don't really understand you, and I can't really mess with you.
Starting point is 01:53:38 And I go back and listen to one of your records, and I go back and I listen to everyone. I was like, I was wrong. You know? Yeah, no. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes it may not be our range of shit, you know? But we getting older now. We step out the range of time and like, you gotta just, I like to check for new shit.
Starting point is 01:53:54 You know what I'm saying? It might not be on my time. I haven't seen the Atlanta show yet. Oh my God. I have to check. My wife is living on me. My wife is living on me. I have to check.
Starting point is 01:54:02 You're a director and producer already. No, it's a crazy ass show. It's really dope. Music wise, he's just dope. Of course, we come from that era. I slept on him. I'm late. I appreciate creative people like that.
Starting point is 01:54:13 He might not be my type of show. He did comedy. He did stand up. He did acting. He does music. And he's Donald Glover's son, for real. No, he's not. No, he's not.
Starting point is 01:54:28 I got it. I got it. He's not? He's Xenicus's son. That's not me, Donald Glover. Come on, Google that. That's not me, Donald Glover. That That's that nigga Donald Glover's son! Good!
Starting point is 01:54:48 Good! Good! That's your baby Glover's son! That's your baby Glover's son! That's your baby Glover's son! He's the pappy! He's the pappy! What the fuck? I don't know, man.
Starting point is 01:55:04 I don't know, man. I don't know. fuck and they kids me this day I was right I finally thinking like that. You get it? You're totally wrong. Why'd you take the Glover name then? That's his name, bro! That's my mom's name. You might be related.
Starting point is 01:55:31 You might be related to Danny. You might be related to Donald. So, let's get rid of the part where you're like, I'm not going to be related to none of them. I'm not related to none of them. So look into that. So let's get rid of the politics before we get up out of here. This is America. I want to go back on the Glover shit real quick. Okay, I'm in.
Starting point is 01:55:58 No, no, no, no, no. I just think for hip-hop this is something that should be addressed at least oh I Think what's happening with some aspects of hip-hop. It's like revenge of the nerds hmm Don't understand you say that to say To say like for example like what's homie that that made the computers was his name on the job or the other one No games, you know how they said like like, oh, these guys are bullied. And then these guys went on to become the forefront of every of industry. That's happening in hip hop. It's revenge of the nerds. The nerds are taking over hip hop. Oh, I see what you said.
Starting point is 01:56:38 Basically, hip hop. You know, the hip hop heads are skateboarding. You know what? That's a great fucking point. I like that. And what I'm saying is this, is that it's actually good for hip hop because hip hop needs to progress. And it shouldn't be nerd because, like, for example, like, I could detest, like, Odd Future, for example. Like, Odd Future. I like Logic.
Starting point is 01:56:59 I listen to Logic. Logic. I like Logic. I like Logic. I listen to Logic. What are they called? Like, the, um, like one one whole lab was done Alchemist and I only went to his type of parties like you know what I mean? It's like that that crowd
Starting point is 01:57:13 Yeah, it's it. It was like nothing but love because like they know that I'm Some say I just They're huge to all of us. And you talk about things that are really like bullshit about this. What are you talking about? So I'm saying, I just think that that's the future. The public school bottles. Like with the new generation today, of the new popular artists today, they don't have that. I feel like they don't have that respect for the craft and the art. But you can't blame them.
Starting point is 01:57:42 A lot of these kids are young. That's coming in the business. That's the blame them a lot of these kids are young that's coming into business that's the one positive out of all the negatives you can open it or mr leegard it's diversifying hip-hop but the problem is it's losing what we all consider to be like the ethics of hip-hop yeah but that's just a new that's just facts it's not bad it's not bad that it diverses but it's bad that it it does it digresses because you're supposed to know certain things when it comes to hip-hop it's just certain things you're supposed to know and some things don't get old no matter how far the game go it's certain rules that still apply that works for you to this day. Tell these young kids what's one of the rules.
Starting point is 01:58:25 One of the rules is sing your fucking record when you perform it. Definitely. It's the fucking vocals. Open them fucking things. They don't do two tracks. Fucking lazy bones. No more.
Starting point is 01:58:36 None of the fuckers is hosting your fucking performance. You're not really performing, my nigga. And they straight be doing real shows. They records playing. I've seen Rolling Loud and I love, I love Rolling Loud and I love the people
Starting point is 01:58:49 at Rolling Loud and I was looking at some of them. Everybody, they're like this. As soon as they go like this, your words are still playing. You're going to do a whole show
Starting point is 01:58:56 of rapping over the records. At least how you hype me and correct me. So when you go like this, he got it. We don't do that no more. We're straight from the studio straight to the radio.
Starting point is 01:59:05 That's a big, that's a big foul ball right now, that performing with the words on. That just became like a epidemic. It's been for a while, though. That's been happening for a while. That's been happening for a while. Put the light on. Yeah, but it was about four stars back then. And we just didn't have the record.
Starting point is 01:59:23 We just didn't have it. Usually, you had to have four fucking dats and shit like that for TV tracks and all. It's so advanced right now. Kids don't do it. Records get straight from the studio to the radio. They don't even have time to make the TV track. Or the instrument or none of that shit.
Starting point is 01:59:39 Everybody listening to the rough version of it. I still don't know what a fucking TV track is. And you hear it mixed and you hear it dope. You're like, I don't want to hear it like this. What the fuck is a TV track, still don't know what a fucking TV track is. And here it dope. You like, I want to hear it like a sound track. What the fuck is a TV track, bro? It's sound. Why is it a TV track?
Starting point is 01:59:48 You like the rough, original version of it. It's just, because once it about to get big, you go do an actual real song with it. A TV track is like this. It'll start off and go, I like to kick candle, run laps to Brownlee English Channel, and then it'll stop. It's got your back and vocal. It'll stop. So just in case, just in case in case you're never going to mind,
Starting point is 02:00:05 our song is going to come as one word that will mind you. It's actually good for a performance. It shouldn't be called a TV track, though. That's why I don't like the name of it. Oh, yeah, the name of it is. The name is just wack. I'm backing you up the fuck track. No, but if you go to TV.
Starting point is 02:00:19 You go to TV. So if you did that studio hall, and you did these several hours? I get it, I get it. You got a TV track that just play your ad-libs. You're right. As a DJ, I see that and I'm just like, so you never go live. So you act like you're gonna cut a lot more records. You won't fuck up your show then. No, that makes total sense.
Starting point is 02:00:35 I never thought of it that way. If you on Jimmy Kimmel Live right now, that's a TV track you don't play and they got your backups on it. I get it. Yeah, it used to be different. I'm not going to kiss the whole weekend for his birthday. No doubt. You always been first class. But anyway, this is your kiss, man. Starting point is 02:12:14 How you doing? How you doing? That's hard body kung fu. Yo, listen, hold on. Yo, listen, hold on. Hold on, hold on. That's hard body kung fu. When you drink it, mayonnaise might come out of somewhere.
Starting point is 02:12:24 Yeah. Yeah. Just gonna throw that kung fu. When you drink it, mayonnaise might come out of somewhere. Just throw that out there. Mayonnaise. Mayonnaise. You're just going to see mayonnaise drop from this. What happened? This one right here, that's for EFN, man. I just had a baby. There's something in here for the new daughter, new baby man. God bless you, brother.
Starting point is 02:12:49 Yeah, yeah. I ain't got one more. I got one more. I ain't got one more. I got one more. Yeah. Listen, man, I lived up with my bro this weekend. It's like we're brothers automatically.

You gotta care about a nigga, man. You gotta care about a nigga, dog. You said y'all done, you ain't gonna quit. But try to ease the... Let's see.
Starting point is 02:13:38 I appreciate that, my bro. If you can smoke that and not think about quitting, you fucked up. Because that's the most horrible good. It's organic. It's actually not good for you, but it's not as bad as a new port is. But when you smell that and you just smell what you just smoked.
Starting point is 02:14:01 Sunny D. This ain't about. ain't like the box. No, it's tax code. That made me quit. I smelled that and smelled my Gucci jacket and said, nah. It's not the lane I want to stay in. I realize this. Let me get the fuck up out of this lane.
Starting point is 02:14:22 I got to keep some shit, though. That's real shit. Yeah, yeah, but once you smell your clothes after that, you're going to know. You're going to know. I'm going to smoke these with the hookah, man. I don't smoke hookah. I'm just talking about it. I see these on the top. These spirits, baby. They're from spirit shit. I see the green pack all the time.
Starting point is 02:14:40 Come on, new rule. New rule. New rule. I don't smoke hookah. Y'all niggas in the club that be smoking y'all's club and put y'all phone to y'all face. You look like a shorty. You look like a bad bitch. You looking like a bad bitch. Stop FaceTiming.
Starting point is 02:14:55 These niggas be all niggas right there. Stop FaceTiming. Slime, if you don't stop, if you don't stop, your shorty is right next to you doing the same exact thing. How is that cool for you? You know what I mean? You got to stop. These club rules, you got to stop.
Starting point is 02:15:11 See, back in that time, you just couldn't do it. It was just rude. You just can't do it. Like, there's no explanation. No. How you got caught up in that? You can't do it so Kanye people's is hitting me right now having a Listening session this Thursday in Wyoming now me I thought want to go to Wyoming?
Starting point is 02:15:48 Wyoming? My niggas is locked down up there. They're like, no, Wyoming is my Montana. I said, I've never been in this place. Me and a kiko. That was me, bro. Yesterday, they were like, listen, I don't know if they invited. They said, I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 02:16:02 I'll tell you. Say that Cuban has to go, too. Let's go. Let's go. So this is what they're saying. I'm interested to see what it is. I'm in. I think this is his people's right there calling. I'll get that invite.
Starting point is 02:16:15 So let's do it. But we got to be the next day on... Bruce Pickney. Bruce Pickney. Yeah. What is that? That's Mr. Lee language. That sucks. That's handball. That's handball language.
Starting point is 02:16:26 Any nigga that know that, he played handball before. Yeah, I never played handball. Sounds like Wicked Witch of the West. You gotta listen. You never played handball for real? Or you playing around? No, I did play handball. Handball's the best fucking game.
Starting point is 02:16:34 No, my every play is on wall ball. Let me just tell you something. In New York City, I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball.
Starting point is 02:16:42 I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on wall ball. I'm playing on? No, I did play handball. Handball's the best fucking game. No, I never played handball. Let me just tell you something. In New York City. Let me just tell you something. I was the only one in New York.
Starting point is 02:16:55 I played basketball. You can't play handball. I'm going to give you a story. I'm going to play handball. So now, I got to find out the information when we finish this but yeah so the Schwozle he had a listener session what date he said I don't know I don't got all the information in Wyoming? Yeah Wyoming that's where he's recording his album. I don't know if the jail I don't know if the jail that's where I'm going that's the whole thing with Rhymefest. Remember Kim Kardashian?
Starting point is 02:17:26 She canceled that ticket. How do you feel about that? It felt like Kanye was tweeting for Kim. Personally, I don't think none of us can talk shit because we don't know anything about those details. I like that answer. But if we were to, from the outside, it's just, I don't know, Kanye, talk to your man, Rhymefest. That's your man. Just talk to each other to your man Rhymefest that's your man
Starting point is 02:17:45 just talk to each other but I think Rhymefest almost went too far Rhymefest I think that's five sides he tweeted Drake
Starting point is 02:17:55 he tweeted Drake and said I don't like that I actually don't like that I don't like that that was messy I don't like that because that's weird
Starting point is 02:18:03 that's it gets weird don't wait for the middle of the water to act like he pulled. Right. And then he broke Drake into it. He broke Drake into it. He was trying to be disrespectful. What he was trying to do was get the $75,000 that Drake gave to Philly
Starting point is 02:18:20 when he was going to do it with Meek. He tried to catch one of them y'all for Chicago. That's what he was trying to do. Ron Fentz is a boy like that, you think? You see how he presented it? Can you please come and help the part of Chicago that Kanye abandoned? Wow. Or something in that nature.
Starting point is 02:18:39 In that nature. So all this stemmed from what? From this beef with Pusha? No, no, no. He waited for a chance to. All this stem from what from this beef with pusher Just from just that way all these things get created though you see how All these different trees and leaves on that can't it's a other shit the way Rob is in it now Yeah, man, all these up like why I put him on that job. It creates things to grow That's why it's exciting because they're now you got this and how long with that drag
Starting point is 02:19:08 rolling around that's it in well I go over the jersey what sucks is it goes off it goes beyond rap at that point yeah I'm seeing like you know people help in Chicago I just want to say oh shit brother you guys my brother that drink wrapped about I just watched the interview of him talking about it. I heard from them. I don't follow this history now, but I'm into it now. I'm going with it. But let's be simple. They put him on interview with Malice,
Starting point is 02:19:33 talking about when they first moved from New York to VA, and how they cousins was the ones hustling their firsts, and this and that. You know what I mean? They trying to like. Oh, it's Drake, isn't it? Drake? He said, yeah. First it was your cousin.
Starting point is 02:19:48 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Then it was Malice. Then it was you. Right. And then they put up an interview with Malice talking about it. It's like, this shit just creates things the way it's like. Somebody could be sitting in the crib going, why they bring
Starting point is 02:19:59 my? Malice probably was chilling like, oh, man. He been pranked? Yeah. Now he all over the internet, old interview, spark up some shit like he did it today though, like, you know what I mean? Because people won't think it's old, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:20:10 Some people take some shit back like he just did. Especially if they can heal it that way. Especially if they got an old computer. I just passed him the blunt, that was the worst shit in the world. Like, I got the oldest talk he just did, I just still passed him the blood. That was the worst shit in the world. Like, I had the oldest talk he just did. I just still asked him to. Trying to kill.
Starting point is 02:20:29 Nah, man. But do I feel good in hip-hop again? Do I feel good to y'all again? Like, do I feel like the game is, like, somewhat coming back to what we... I don't want to sound like old people, but, like, what we can appreciate. Bro, we not old. We us. Let's be us.
Starting point is 02:20:44 I like that. I like that. You know what I'm saying? Should we make some noise for we not old, we us. Let's be us. I like that. I like that. You know what I'm saying? Should we make some noise for that? Yeah, hell yeah. It doesn't feel like the game is like returning, like, you know, Aaron. To be honest, I feel like it didn't really go that far.
Starting point is 02:21:00 Like, you know, I think we in that social media world where you have access to listen to who you wanna to listen to hmm you know I mean it don't matter if it's somebody's hot man you know who's hot you know it's the Drake's you know what the Meeks you know it's these people but it's dope when you can have somebody like that you ever heard of this nigga or this nigga you want to play some shit and you go on his Instagram and he has that following you see him getting that love and support it's a whole different market and you can find artists that you actually like and love they don't gotta be on the radio
Starting point is 02:21:28 Yeah, no, I'm gonna fuck with this nigga. I follow his grandma go check his YouTube page He got some joints and then you see him a year later He's actually that artist like you don't say like it's a you have access to like what the fuck you want to like and listen To which one listen to This is one time in the game. You won't have to like what the fuck you want to like and listen to what you want to listen to. This is one time in the game you won't have to subject to the radio. I could play anybody album I want on iTunes right now. Pay $10 a month. If I want to buy it, I'll buy it.
Starting point is 02:21:53 If I don't, I can just check it out. Let me see if I like it and fuck with it. But it's just access to things like that. So you like streaming? You like streaming? You have no choice. You have no choice. There's no choice.
Starting point is 02:22:03 I like it. It's the access to the music I like. You know what I'm saying? If I want to just check for somebody's shit, I can just go check for it. You have no choice to stream is what I'm saying. You're streaming. People complain about what hip hop is today. I'm like, why are you complaining?
Starting point is 02:22:18 You're deploying the shit that's really out there. You don't have to subject to what you don't think is hip-hop. Well, then who do you think is hip-hop? Oh, my man right here. Go buy his shit then. Put his shit on your page then. But you'll put up the Amigos shit, hating on the Amigos. Why are you promoting something you don't like?
Starting point is 02:22:38 But then your man's in them is right there. Support the shit that you claim is the real shit. I agree with that. But let me say something that scared me about today's age right now is that people have no need to buy their followers top I their life they could do it I could buy it didn't they catch mace like that mace mace when they took away the followers, Mase shit was gone. Oh shit. Nah, real talk. Shit.
Starting point is 02:23:06 No. Shit. I mean, you were telling problems. Shit. That's what I heard. Remember them times when they was losing followers? They came in and just pfft. They got a problem.
Starting point is 02:23:14 They just so proud of them. They just did an Instagram clean up. They did an Instagram clean up. They did that one again. Your real followers stayed and then the fake shit got out of there. Yeah. He erased his shit. Some people dropped it.
Starting point is 02:23:22 Some people dropped it. Some people dropped it. Some people dropped it. Some people dropped it. Some people dropped it. Some people dropped it. clean up real father we stayed in the future he raised this shit something no I don't know what that means but something from 100,000 to five we know we have to follow one hundred 5 5k We know it We have a million followers with 100 likes
Starting point is 02:23:48 You know that bitch was at 2 million and went to 250 You know what I'm saying Yeah, Mace was 2 point something and went to 250 You be knowing when a nigga Sifu Yala Sifu Yala
Starting point is 02:24:04 Listen, when a nigga Sifu Sfoo mean that, that's real right. But then see-foo yalla, like when see-foo yalla, this is how you know a nigga see-foo yalla. When you got a million, you got a million, you got a million views, but you got a hundred likes. You got a million, you got two two comments and you got a million followers? You a Sifu Y'all. You a Sifu Y'all.
Starting point is 02:24:30 You a Sifu Y'all. You a Sifu Y'all. You a Sifu Y'all. You a Sifu Y'all. You a Sifu Y'all. The fact is we know people that do that. I know people who Sifu Y'all. I know Sifu Y'allers. Yes I do. We know
Starting point is 02:24:58 The game is very just like More than ever today. No, but listen, but listen. Shit, this whole shit is C4Y. You can find your niche in it. Wait, who captured that? That is the fucking video game. The whole game is C4Y. The whole game is C4Y.
Starting point is 02:25:21 It is. What is that? You might have to be fake to deal with some system time like some time people ain't Appreciated of your realness sometimes better play You know, I'm gonna be being a fraud with you Why you have to be I ain't shaking your hand I ain't doing this net for him to get that camera footage of him looking like he's that guy Sometimes you have to be as fake as people be. Starting point is 02:25:45 Hi, my nigga, I love you. You're right. Love you too, my nigga. You know I don't. I know you don't love me. But we're gonna be crying. You can't beat the road plus one. You will never know what they plotting on.
Starting point is 02:25:53 They can have a camera there, there, there, and they're getting this shit making you look like the lane. Oh, no, you gotta learn how to see for y'all. You also gotta learn how to see for y'all. Yeah. You also got to learn how to see for y'all. Sometimes you know when to check out. You don't know when to, my nigga, chill out.
