With expert insight from gastroenterologist Dr. Roshi Raj. Listen to Dope Labs on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:02:46 And it's Dream Chef's motherfucking podcast. We'll be right back. the biggest players in the most professional unprofessional podcast and your number one source for drunk facts where every day is new year's eve it's time for drink champs drink up motherfuckers what it could be hoping it's what it should be this is your boy n-oO.R.E. What up, it's DJ E.F.N. And this is Drink Chance motherfucking podcast. Make some noise! Now, when we talk about independent, when we talk about legendary, when we talk about a person who stood on his own, we talk about controversy,
Starting point is 00:03:21 we talk about hip-hop, and again, this is a person who just said, you know what, I'm going to do it my way, like motherfucking, what's the nigga, Frankie, who went through him, Frank Sinatra, and he did it his way, like Frank Sinatra, stood there, he pulled up in a motherfucking salmon shirt on, got jeweled out, motherfucking paws shining, motherfucking doing what he got to do, New York City, we're going to get to everything, we're going to talk as much as we can. I know this is something that hip-hop has been waiting for right now.
Starting point is 00:03:49 You know, when I Googled his name personally, I kept seeing just a certain amount of interviews. So I felt like I want to be the guy to give him a fair chance, a fair exchange because, you know, sometimes you look at, you know, people in another place and it seems one-sided because it might be one-sided. So, you know, me seeing that, bumped into the guy and kicked it in L.A. And I was like, yo, we got to make this happen. So in case the people don't know, in the building, motherfuckers, today we got dope boy, motherfucking Troy Trey.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Boy Troy, finally Troy Trey. Boy, Troy. Finally here, man. Now, you know what? The crazy shit is, usually, I Google everybody. Even if I know everything about these people's career, when I Google people, obviously, one of the biggest thing that comes up is the controversy thing, but I don't want to start there. I would rather start from the beginning.
Starting point is 00:04:51 I would rather start from the grind, because even the name Troy Ave, that is an actual street in Brooklyn. A lot of people don't actually know that. You know what I'm saying? So let's take it from there. From the Troy Ave, from the beginning, I pretty much had some motivation. I was doing my thing like a little bit in the streets or whatever. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:05:12 And then I just came to the point where like, you know, I saw somebody hit a record deal. And you know, I'm like, man, shit, they talking about, you know, shit that I be living. You know what I'm saying? So I'm like, all right, well, let me shoot my shot. And then at first, I tried to call some DJs to put me on a mixtape or whatever. Got a bunch of dogs slammed in my face. He was in a bunch of early mixtapes of mine. I don't know if you remember that.
Starting point is 00:05:36 As a fact, no. The FM wasn't. Remember, I flew out here early, and we was in a little spot. Matter of fact, the spot was big, but we was in a- It was in the warehouse. Yeah, the warehouse. That's a fact. We just, fact, the spot was big, but we was in a... It was in the warehouse. Yeah, the warehouse. That's a fact. We just need Scarface and somebody else.
Starting point is 00:05:49 You want this one? Yeah, that's cool. That's cool either way. It's your own. You know what I'm saying? We're celebrating you tonight, but continue the story. God is great in the paper straight. So anyway, I shot my shot at it, and it wasn't working out.
Starting point is 00:06:04 You know what I'm saying? People was like, yo, I'm charging you $1,200 to get on a mixtape. And I'm like, damn, I was prepared to pay a couple hundred. I'm like, come on, dog. You can't do nothing better. You talking about DJs? Yeah, DJs. And you getting charged $1,200 for the bottom slot.
Starting point is 00:06:18 I'm talking about 29. You know what I'm saying? So anyway, I said, man, fuck it. Nigga told me $1 me so honey put me on a mix a We poppin bottles over here Troy it be dangerous Oh okay alright I'm on bell baby I ain't trying to be too dangerous right now
Starting point is 00:06:34 You don't have to talk to the slob over here sir You have mistakes over here So anyway This is crazy You ain't notice the whole crew was looking at you like Alright Troy about the boss he don't even know So anyway, this is crazy. Rob Markman, the whole crew was looking at you like, how are you? You worried about the boss, he don't even know. Yeah, crazy.
Starting point is 00:06:48 She get too much loud noises, man. She get crazy, man. So anyway, I said fuck it. I remember after I called him trying to get on Mad Mix Saves, couple of got on, but mostly was like fronting on me. Then when the nigga told me 1200, I was like, fuck out of here, 1200, nigga, you the dick. You know what I'm saying? And then that DJ ain't even around like that no more. And I took that same 1200 and I went and put out my own mixtape.
Starting point is 00:07:13 And that's where I started with it. I always had a marketing mind. Like, yo, how could I make motherfuckers know about me or listen to me? So I put out the Troy Adverse 50 Cent, Troy Adverse Dipset, Troy Adverse G-Unit. Because they was influential to me. So I put out the Troy Adverse 50 Cent, Troy Adverse Dipset, Troy Adverse G-Unit. Because, you know, they was influential to me. But it wasn't like- Especially in the mixtape. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:30 That's a fact, though. But it wasn't like no, you know, beefing shit. It was like my songs, they songs, my songs, they songs. And then niggas took to it. I went and I sold it. Like I said, I was doing my thing. So I had a little bit of bread. I had like a towel on 22s at the time.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Anybody from New York can tell you. And I would ride around every block, through every block, every block, every hood. We not posting up, selling CDs. We'd ride through every block, hopping out, niggas buying the CDs. If they fronting, we make them buy it. You know what I'm saying? And it just, it worked out. And then eventually I got hooked up with it.
Starting point is 00:08:04 I was selling one of my CDs on the street, on Fulton Street in Brooklyn. Riding through on Fulton. And then this dude named Omar Shabazz, he plugged me in with Butch Lewis. And Butch Lewis had a label slash a management, all kind of shit. God bless his dad. And then Butch brought me on and tried to help me with my career. And that was dope. I ain't never had that.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Everything was off the muscle. So he was trying to help me with my career. But for whatever reason, it ain't really worked out. Just because I'm used to everything fast-paced or whatever. So I remember I had, like, I wasn't ever waiting for no labels, no nothing, no management. So I had, like, about maybe $40,000 saved up. And this from just me hustling a little bit of crack or whatever, whatever.
Starting point is 00:08:48 And then I went and I shot my own video. Edwin DeCena, he was the director, he shot my first video. And we shot, that shit cost me like 20 bands to shoot, you know what I'm saying? So I was like, fuck. But the nigga believed in himself so much that if you ain't investing in yourself, then you ain't doing nothing. You know what I'm saying? So I took half my bread, invested in myself, and butchered them, got my shit on BET, and
Starting point is 00:09:11 then that gave me a little buzz. So after that, I was like, nah, man, I feel like we just parted ways or whatever, but he kept on mentoring me. The door was always open or whatever. And then that's when I was like, man, fuck this. This rap shit ain't really doing what it's doing. And then that's when I go from projects like Troy at Verse 50 Cent, fucking Dips at Verse 50 Cent, and fucking that's when the shit changed.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Projects like I'm in Traffic, you know what I'm saying? Bricks in my backpack. Because at that time, I started really hustling. You know what I'm saying I went from selling a little crack getting an 8 ball for $85 and selling to a nigga for $115 you know what I'm saying to now
Starting point is 00:09:53 nigga going out of town with it that's where bricks in my backpack come from when I used to be going out of town I would try to think like yo how could I not get fucking pinched you know what I'm saying so I was like I would have to think like, yo, how could I not get fucking pinched? You know what I'm saying? So I was like, all right. I would have different little get-ups. One of my get-ups was I would come with a messenger bag, Swiss Army messenger bag.
Starting point is 00:10:12 And I have a laptop and a button-up shirt. And I'd be walking through Grand Central with my laptop. Like, oh, yeah, I'm just a fucking black guy who goes to school somewhere. You know what I'm saying? But meanwhile, I got a bird in the messenger bag. You know what I'm saying? But meanwhile, I got a bird in the messenger bag. You know what I'm saying? And then the second one, I used to come through with the slippers and the basketball shorts. That's where ballplay and swag came from.
Starting point is 00:10:34 A lot of people wasn't rocking no Jordans with the Jordan slippers, at least not in New York. So then I used to come through like that with a basketball and a backpack looking like I'm just a baller playing AAU or whatever, whatever. But meanwhile, I had a bird in the backpack. You know what I'm saying? So after that started developing and music started changing and by the grace of God, I didn't go to jail or nothing like that.
Starting point is 00:10:56 So it just went on from there. Bricks in my backpack went big. It took me like part three to get recognized. And that's when I dropped bricks in my backpack three and everybody was fucking with it. I think Pitchfork, they be giving people zeros on reviews. I didn't even know what the fuck it was. And Hop, shout out to Hop on Smash, he called me going crazy like, yo, Pitchfork gave you a 7.5.
Starting point is 00:11:20 I'm like, what the fuck you mean? What's Pitchfork? Man, they give people zeros, whatever, whatever. And then I said, oh shit. And this shit just started taking. And then from there, I dropped. I dropped. They was like, yo, out of Brooklyn, it's generational gaps.
Starting point is 00:11:39 And then you had, out of Brooklyn, you had Jay-Z, you had Fabulous, and now you have Troy Ave. You know what I'm saying? So I was like, all right, that's dope too. And then I just kept grinding and I dropped, I still didn't have, I had like shit on the radio, maybe like Sunday night shows or whatever. And you know, that shit was cool. Then I dropped New York City, the album. And when I dropped New York City, the album and that shit just blew up.
Starting point is 00:11:57 And you know what I'm saying? It was called like a classic. You think that your fullest potential would have been a bit more powerful had you signed to this major labels? Because I remember at one point, that was just it. Every major label was like, Troy Ave, Troy Ave, Troy Ave, Troy Ave. They was singing Troy Ave, but they wasn't coming with the bag. Because at that time, I had grounded and I already coming with the bag because at that time I already had grinded and I already had got the bag.
Starting point is 00:12:27 So you wasn't going to offer me what I already had in the shoe box. You know what I'm saying? What I thought I didn't work for. I didn't put sweat equity in the shit. So I feel like in certain ways, signing with a major at the time would have elevated me. But then I feel like I would never had the longevity, you know what I'm saying? And I'm not a nigga that trip on nothing. Because Tom's, let me just, let me be like specific.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Tom's with me, I've chose the bread. And then Tom's, I've said, you know what? I want the relationship. You know what I'm saying? You think, you know what I'm saying? No, it is. And I had seen, I had seen the relationships fake, and I was going to get the bread regardless because I already started.
Starting point is 00:13:10 So if I already started getting bread, and I'm like, man, I ain't even really that good yet. Imagine when I get good. Imagine when I put more money into it. So I always say God is the plan of all plans. I don't be having regrets on, damn, I should have took this deal at this time. Because look, fast forward, I feel like in having regrets on damn, I should have took this deal at this time because look, fast forward, I feel like
Starting point is 00:13:26 in what I've seen, a lot of artists that take the deal as far as like coming from the city at the time when I'm coming out, they burn out. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:13:34 You might shoot up and then that be it but I'd rather have that. Absolutely, but one thing about that I will always say because like, listen,
Starting point is 00:13:42 I prefer being on a record like I made that, I made that very clear. Like I prefer being on a record label I made that I made that very clear like I prefer that's just me because at certain times I'm a hustler
Starting point is 00:13:50 in a lot of different ways but in certain ways I'm lazy like certain ways I don't really want to go to 50 radio stations you know what I'm saying I don't want to go to
Starting point is 00:13:57 like you came up in a different era too I had to do that no it was a different time for major record labels right the era that he's coming into,
Starting point is 00:14:06 it's all shifting. What I'm trying to say is someone told me something one time. He had a terrible record label, terrible deal. The label spent two or three million on him. Although he had a terrible deal, he got out the deal and he said
Starting point is 00:14:21 that two or three million promotion, they could never get back. I looked at it like even though it was a failure it was also a plus because he couldn't take back that star power that they gave him you know what i'm saying so i feel like it's a good and bad i feel like in your situation you know obviously you know um you've done phenomenal for yourself but i believe like as far as stardom, like, superstardom, like, you would have, I know we had the new Pac and all that, but you would have actually really been, like, I mean, not to say it's not now, you know what I'm saying? Right, right, effective. But I just feel like, as far as star powers, like, you know, the crossover, the white people
Starting point is 00:14:58 appeal, like, you know, you still, new Pac. Well, don't get it fucked up. I got a lot of white people appeal. Right, right, right. I'm looking at the dreams. Right, right, right. That's a fact, though. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:15:06 Right, right. But like I say, man, you can't really, you just got to go with what you know. You know what I'm saying? At that time, I stay independent out of necessity. Right. Man, I don't trust these people. That's our basket. I got to keep grinding.
Starting point is 00:15:17 I know if I grind more tomorrow, I'll grind them all I'm going to get. And then you get in a situation where you sign to a label, you get the bag, you get the promotion, but how many countless artists can't get off a label? You know what I'm saying? Right, right. Or how many artists- You get shoved. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:15:30 And it looked like even my situation. I came home from jail and shit, I couldn't do no shows. I was on house arrest. I couldn't do nothing. Couldn't move. Imagine I couldn't put out no music because now labels don't want to fuck with you because you're scary and controversial and it might be some shit. So me being able to put out my music.
Starting point is 00:15:47 You're right, but I got to be the benefit devil's advocate, I think they say. But some labels will go crazy for that. That's soon. Like, yo, these old houses, that's what I'm saying. That'd be soon, man. So sometimes it'd be worth the risk sometimes. Like, I'm just saying. The way I look at it, I always feel like, and it's like, I'm the underdog. You know what I'm saying? Everybody know my story. They the risk sometimes. I'm just saying. The way I look at it, I always feel like I'm the underdog.
Starting point is 00:16:05 You know what I'm saying? Everybody know my story. They the underdog. So I always go into the game like, man, I'm going to get the shirt and the stick. Straight up. Pose. No matter what. I'll give you an example.
Starting point is 00:16:15 No one was signing to Neil Levine. But what people don't know is Neil Levine was at Capone's, every one of Capone's court dates. You know what I'm saying? He owned Penalty Records. He was at everyone. at Capone's, every one of Capone's court dates, yo. Like, you know what I'm saying? He owned Penalty Records. Like, he was at everyone. And, like,
Starting point is 00:16:29 that shit meant more to us than getting the bag at the time. Than being on a big, major label. But that wasn't independent. That was a form of independence. It had distribution
Starting point is 00:16:37 through time. It had major distribution, but... Yeah. Yeah, but what I'm saying is that support sometimes is needed. I mean, not always needed. The way I come, like I say, I'm saying is that support sometimes is needed. I mean, not always needed.
Starting point is 00:16:46 The way I come, like I say, I'm the underdog, and I go out for myself. So with support like that and shit, I already learned not to expect it and not to need it. Because when it's not there, then what you going to do? You going to be fucked up in the game? So I don't be caring about most of the support. I'm going to say it. You know what I'm saying? You wasn't going to sign with Def Jam. I don't be caring about my fucking poker. I'm going to say it. You know what I'm saying? You wasn't going to sign with Def Jam.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I don't know. I felt like when I met you, when I met you, it felt like you was around the Def Jam through my boy Roger, and Roger put me in touch with Joe Bain. Yeah, I fuck with Roger. Nah. And Kato. Shout out to Kato. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Nah, it wasn't no sign of nowhere. It was like, at first they was fronting on me. Then, you know know at the time when they was really hollering they wasn't hollering about nothing that I didn't already make you know what I mean
Starting point is 00:17:29 so it didn't make sense cause I know for damn sure I would have been shoved on a couple labels already been a disgruntled pissed off artist you know what I'm saying but you always be the
Starting point is 00:17:37 LeBron dude the dude that took a little less money and won the championship but I ain't gonna hold you if you wanna look at if you wanna really be on the record, I'm the richest independent nigga
Starting point is 00:17:47 ever out of New York City. All right, Mitchell Norton. Period. Since we still going on the record, I'm the only independent nigga with a gold record ever. All right.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Period. Make some notes for that, motherfucker. You got that. You got that. I don't know. See, when I be talking my shit, I don't need to talk on facts.
Starting point is 00:18:07 Anything. Even if I'm talking about an enemy, I'm only dealing in fact. But for some reason, sometimes your confidence make motherfuckers insecure. So they be, oh, Troy have this cocky truck. I'm not cocky. These are my accomplishments that I work for and nobody help me with. You know what I'm saying? So I know full fact.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Like, all right, cool. I might have been hot in 2016 when I got signed, if I signed to a label. And in 2019, Troy Avdon owned 11 Cribs. Troy Avdon got four cars. Troy Avdon got a Ferrari. Because he blew it all. Look how much niggas you see that was hot.
Starting point is 00:18:37 They got the Benz from that year. You know what I'm saying? And then it's what? You can't put out no shit. You can't continue to grind. So, I just, I never be bitter about, yo, damn, I should have signed here at this time or that time. Because if I did that for a fact, I wouldn't have been here. I wouldn't have been having shit.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Anytime you see me, I wouldn't have been upgraded. Nothing. I would have been stuck in that time. Right. Right. That's real shit. That's real shit. I just see it both ways sometimes.
Starting point is 00:19:04 You are kind of more on the side of the major person being independent. I understood it because that was my... I didn't really have a choice like that. Now let me ask you though,
Starting point is 00:19:12 and did you see my top 50 greatest rappers in New York list? You know, you was on it. Oh, I didn't see that. Oh yeah. I don't look at none of those. You ain't know this,
Starting point is 00:19:19 but you know that. I don't look at none of those. Yeah. I remember one labor day, I had water all old, you had the white shit, like motherfucking with the N-O-R-E-I, nigga wore the old white. And I couldn't find it. I didn't know if it was polo, whatever the fuck it was. But I had wore some old white shit on Labor Day, and I had the silver Tim Dunkers when
Starting point is 00:19:40 they first came out. I went on a parade, got my shit fucked up. You know what I'm saying? But that was my shit. So anyway, I went on a parade, got my shit fucked up. You know what I'm saying? But like, that was my shit. So anyway, I said that the same long story long. Did you question, do you see it like how you see it
Starting point is 00:19:54 because you went to majors and you were successful in there? Or do you think you would have seen it the same way? Because I ain't never, I don't know if the grass green on the other side because I've never been there. You know what I'm saying? The problem was I was already obligated. Penalty was a somewhat independent. But if your records reacted, it was an incubator.
Starting point is 00:20:14 They got labels that do that. So Tommy Boy's staff will come in and do the services. But predominantly, we were always signed to... And technically, Tommy Boy was an independent too. Well And technically, Tommy Boy was an independent, too. Well, technically, Tommy Boy was an independent until Warner came, and once Warner comes, they come with that big bag. Ain't no one independent. So anyway, so I had the independent grind.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Right. I had the independent grind because penalty, they had 12 workers, so I had the independent grind. But when that budget opened and NRE came and Tommy Boy came and said, hold on. I got to big up Tommy Boy. I know we did a whole episode shitting on him. I wasn't part of it. I was there.
Starting point is 00:20:55 But I got to big them up as well. When Tommy Boy did come and say, hold on, this guy's the bag, and they spent the bag. It was a lot easier going on the road from going from the war report which is one of the best albums ever and then going from NRE my memories is in our I'm just saying not because of you know the material or anything but it was it was finally like you know what i did the independent super independent shit and then when i had that it was it was kind of easier and it was just like you know again when you major independent you got to go to every radio station but when you got that
Starting point is 00:21:37 major bag you can you don't have to go to every radio station you could go to florida and just go to miami right if you're independent you got to go to tamp and just go to Miami. Right. If you're independent, you got to go to Tampa. You got to go to Jacksonville. You got to go to Orlando. Which everybody really should. Everyone really should. But what I'm saying is,
Starting point is 00:21:55 when you automate, you just go to that main market in that city. You just go to Chicago. That shit take a lot of trust. And I got trust issues, man. You know what I'm saying? I know I ain't going to never let myself down.
Starting point is 00:22:04 I ain't going to never have to be like, I need the budget opened up to myself you know I'm saying I ain't gonna never not go hard for myself or you might have fucked somebody on the label bitch and now they mad at you and they front you know I'm saying like which is just a loan at the end of the day which is just a big loan because you might you I don't fuck with you might be one of the few artists that that lucked out in that situation. Because at the end of the day, Def Jam bought the deal. They paid to get you out. Well, that was later on in life. Remember, I kept going with Tommy Boy.
Starting point is 00:22:30 I still had Melvin Flynn. But they got you out of that situation. Yes, they got me out. Not everybody's going to survive the way you did and come out. And that was also an awesome situation with me. I can't lie to you. When Def Jam came and they brought it out, I remember when Tom Silverman said,
Starting point is 00:22:47 we needed an extra such and such. And Leo Cohen said, well, tell him he'll have it with his morning paper. This is where niggas used to get papers. So I'm like, oh, that was hard to me. That was hard. That nigga went hard for me. You know what I'm saying? But the thing about it is,
Starting point is 00:23:02 being on a major sucks when they 360 you out. Meaning, because you know what I'm saying? Like back then, we know that was our choice. It was go major or be super, super, super independent. But the thing about it was you never give up your motherfucking merchandising and never give up your motherfucking publishing and never give up your motherfucking live show. And back then, you could really make a great make a how many like knew that back then um I don't know cuz they no one told me no one told me I found that shit out word so uh so now Trey have Brooklyn is Brooklyn the same right now Brooklyn is Brooklyn is gentrified. I mean, it's still good.
Starting point is 00:23:46 It's still got a good vibe. You go to the games, you go to the Nets game. You know what I'm saying? They just started letting me go to arenas now, whatever. I mean, Brooklyn is the same. More potholes. I can't really... See, I don't want to talk my shit, but I don't want to talk my shit because niggas say I be cocky when I just say random white shit.
Starting point is 00:24:03 What's he coming through with? With a Ferrari and his fucking- And the potholes. You know what I'm saying? Potholes fucking like a Ferrari? Goddamn, niggas say I be cocky when I just say random like shit. What's he coming through with a Ferrari and his fucking in a pothole? You know what I'm saying? Potholes fucking like a Ferrari? Goddamn, niggas talk that shit.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Nah, I ain't tucking my shit, man. That shit gets you nowhere fast. We trying to get the niggas not hate. Fuck all that.
Starting point is 00:24:17 But yeah, I mean, it's cool. It's like, once you start traveling and you seeing more shit and it's different, it's like you ask, Jay-Z is Brooklyn the same. He's probably not from where, and you're seeing more shit, then it's different.
Starting point is 00:24:27 It's like you ask Jay-Z, is Brooklyn the same? It's probably not from when he started and shit. So it was like you're traveling, you're seeing more shit. I've been in L.A. more than I've ever been. Me and you ran into each other in L.A., you know what I'm saying? So I got a house in Jersey now. I never thought I would move to Jersey or whatever. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:44 If you mean the same as far as what, you know what I mean? I don't know. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's that same feeling. Like, you know, like, just when I go to Queens, sometimes it's just, it's just a dirty feeling.
Starting point is 00:24:55 Like, you know what I'm saying? Right, right. A dumpster truck, it would be like, mm, I like that. You know what I mean? I mean, you know what, yeah. Yeah. It's just home for me.
Starting point is 00:25:03 Like, yeah. Right, right. As a fact, though. I could go to certain parts of Queens and smell throat and be like, that was hot. I was in left back with you. You know what I'm saying? We was drinking. Yeah, back then.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Yeah. I mean, so it's cool. I drive through shit, man. I don't really be. I might post up and go to Chicken Spot if I want to style or go kick it real quick. You know what I'm saying? I see people that I really fuck with like that, but nowadays, the way I do shit is if I want to fuck with some homies from the hood, I'll have some shit.
Starting point is 00:25:35 We'll have our own private shit, you know what I'm saying? Or everybody will fly out or go to Atlantic City or something, you know what I'm saying? Because the hood is shit of mentality and a trap, you know what I'm saying? Because the hood is shit of mentality and a trap, you know what I'm saying? So my little brother told me real shit. He said, yo, bro, you got to think, the hood is fucked up. I said, I've been to who's fucked up. What you mean? He said, nigga, look, it ain't really no farms in the hood like that. You go to any block, it ain't really no farms per nigga, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:26:01 It ain't really no bad bitches like that. It might be two or three that everybody done smutted or whatever. You know what I'm saying? It ain't really no bad bitches like that. It might be two or three that everybody done smutted or whatever. It's 30 niggas and three bitches. That's not no place I want to be at. And then it ain't really no real money. You can't tell me you getting real money unless you... Not off no crack, not off no coke, not in the hood. Right.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Not right now. If you selling dope, then you still getting some bread. You know what I'm saying so he like I can only speak from where I'm from and a lot of people I know hand to hand crack
Starting point is 00:26:30 dang you ain't getting rich off that straight up you know what I'm saying little pills if you're still selling your pills in the hood you're not getting
Starting point is 00:26:36 rich off that there's only like 14 crackheads left you feel me and they holding on strong they holding on strong they holding on strong they smoking like a
Starting point is 00:26:42 motherfucker but it's only 14 14 they rotate. They get everywhere. Yo, I thought your wife was so out of style. Yeah, crack out of style.
Starting point is 00:26:48 We be training crackheads and shit. Y'all know a crackhead, he told me he had AIDS since 1984. He said it. Word of the mother. His name Gary. Crackhead Gary. Gary said he had AIDS since 1984 and he believed that the crackers was keeping him strong. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:27:08 If he stops smoking crack, he gonna die. Right, he might be done. That's what he believed. I believe that nigga, too, my nigga. That's it, straight up. You know what I'm saying? I ain't gonna test his theory, but you know, it is what it is. The Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration in the United States.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Recipients have done the improbable, showing immense bravery and sacrifice in the name of something much bigger than themselves. This medal is for the men who went down that day. It's for the families of those who didn't make it. I'm JR Martinez. I'm a U.S. Army veteran myself, and I'm honored to tell you the stories of these heroes on the new season of Medal of Honor, Stories of Courage from Pushkin Industries and iHeart Podcast. From Robert Blake, the first black sailor to be awarded the medal, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice. These are stories about people who have distinguished themselves by acts of valor going above and beyond the call of duty.
Starting point is 00:28:08 You'll hear about what they did, what it meant, and what their stories tell us about the nature of courage and sacrifice. Listen to Medal of Honor on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. A lot of times the big economic forces we hear about on the news show up in our lives in small ways. Three or four days a week, I would buy two cups of banana pudding. But the price has gone up, so now I only buy one. The demand curve in action. And that's just one of the things we'll be covering on Everybody's Business from Bloomberg Businessweek.
Starting point is 00:28:46 I'm Max Chavkin. And I'm Stacey Vanek-Smith. Every Friday, we will be diving into the biggest stories in business, taking a look at what's going on, why it matters, and consumer spending expert Amanda Mull will take you inside the boardrooms, the backrooms, even the signal chats that make our economy tick. Hey, I want to learn about VeChain. I want to buy some blockchain or whatever it is that they're doing. So listen to Everybody's Business on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:29:23 The American West with Dan Flores is the latest show from the Meat Eater Podcast Network, hosted by me, writer and historian Dan Flores, and brought to you by Velvet Buck. This podcast looks at a West available nowhere else. Each episode, I'll be diving into some of the lesser-known histories of the West. I'll then be joined in conversation by guests such as Western historian Dr. Randall Williams and best-selling author and meat-eater founder Stephen Ranella. I'll correct my kids now and then where they'll say, when cave people were here. And I'll say, it seems like the Ice Age people that were here didn't have a real affinity for caves. So join me starting Tuesday, May 6th, where we'll delve into stories of the West
Starting point is 00:30:09 and come to understand how it helps inform the ways in which we experience the region today. Listen to The American West with Dan Flores on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I know a lot of cops, and they get asked all the time, have you ever had to shoot your gun? Sometimes the answer is yes. But there's a company dedicated to a future where the answer will always be no. Across the country, cops called this taser the revolution.
Starting point is 00:30:43 But not everyone was convinced it was that simple. Cops believed everything that taser told them. From Lava for Good and the team that brought you Bone Valley comes a story about what happened when a multi-billion dollar company dedicated itself to one visionary mission. This is Absolute Season 1, Taser Incorporated. I get right back there and it's bad. It's really, really, really bad.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Listen to new episodes of Absolute Season 1, Taser Incorporated on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Binge episodes 1, 2, and 3 on May 21st and episodes 4, 5, and 6 on June 4th. Ad-free at Lava for Good Plus on Apple Podcasts. So, so, so, this, this, you, you, you're one of them dudes that comes across as if you believed it in the game. There was a...
Starting point is 00:31:49 I always like to hear other people's opinions of me, man. He said, I come across as... No, I'm just telling you... I'm actually telling you other people's opinions. You know I probably treat you like that.
Starting point is 00:31:57 But I'm telling you other people's opinions because I think you know my opinion of you. But I have to listen, even before I was doing Drink Champs, I had to listen with other people. listen you know even before i was doing drink champs i had to listen with other people but you come across like um there was a scene in entourage once right and
Starting point is 00:32:11 i think we actually had this this this conversation once but i'm not sure i'm not positive and vince had vince had did whatever the fuck he wanted to do and then it was time for vince to actually you know come back or play or play. The word was play the game. So Artie says to him, he says, yo, this time we just got to play the game, Vince. And it seems like prior, or you tell me if I'm wrong, you come across as one of them artists that never wanted to play the game. I never. I mean, I can't show no fake love. I can't be fake, man.
Starting point is 00:32:47 You know what I'm saying? Like, that shit just do. A lot of niggas, they won't, they'll be cool with some shit happening as long as nobody find out. Nigga like me, I got to look in that mirror. I didn't understand that. Anything. Somebody could be getting smacked over in their fucking face, kicked in their ass outside,
Starting point is 00:33:03 and they cool with that. As long as nobody was around to see it. You know what I'm saying? Look, you got these sneaky niggas getting fucked in the ass with dildos and shit, and they think it's all good. These women talk. You know what I'm saying? As long as nobody see it.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Niggas would be in a bum deal. These niggas would be the toughest, acting like they're gangsta, whatever the fuck, but they call in the labor, y'all, I need some money for my kids for Christmas. Please send me a little event. That's not real nigga shit to me. It's a facade. You saying you're It's a facade.
Starting point is 00:33:27 That's not real to me. So I ain't, I'm never comfortable. I gotta look in the mirror and see what's real. But the whole game ain't fake. I mean, I don't,
Starting point is 00:33:36 just a lot of the parts I've been, see, that's the thing. When I seen it was fake, I ain't even get in the play. I just did my own thing. And then,
Starting point is 00:33:43 you know, certain parts of the game came to me. You know what I'm saying? I did my own thing. then you know Certain parts of the game Came to me You know what I'm saying I did my own thing But just so you know That's like That's like you know Fucking an unloyal bitch
Starting point is 00:33:50 That's light skin That doesn't mean Every light skin bitch Is unloyal But that shit is That shit is gonna make you jaded And you gonna be like Alright well cool
Starting point is 00:33:58 I agree Now I know how to You know what If this one bitch Is filthy And she disloyal Now I'm gonna treat All these bitches the same.
Starting point is 00:34:06 And that way, by just lower percentage, I'm going to assure that I never get fucked over. And you'll more likely be the hardest one out of this relationship. Well, I'd have heard out of that. Yeah, because... I had a girl break my heart when I was 15, 16. I know, but I'm just telling you, when you alienate things like that, when you alienate things, when you look at it as a majority, right? The thing about it is, this is what I feel like happened to you, right? I feel like you met like ten people in the game, seven of them was fakes.
Starting point is 00:34:35 So you just said, fuck it. You didn't even care about judging the other three. Am I almost accurate? Say I met ten people that was faking, just being in the hood. You got a nigga to say, yo, man, I got some coke for sale. You got a nigga to say, yo, I got some straps for sale. You got a nigga to say, yo, I got some pounds of weed. And all three of them don't come through, you start looking for your own connect for the pounds.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Your own connect for the strap. Your own connect for the... And then I found them. And I didn't find them to the level where a nigga can't bring me 100 pounds, 1,000 pounds. But you know what? I was cool with getting 25, and I'm paying straight direct price,000 pounds. But you know what? I was cool with getting 25 and I'm paying straight direct price. You know what I'm saying? So I was cool with that.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Because everything I came to the game for, I got. I accomplished that. I've been said I want to go wreck it. I just got it by the grace of God. You know what I'm saying? It took me three years and I got it. I want to explain what I mean. Sometimes you got to play the game. Like you said,
Starting point is 00:35:25 you can't be fake. You can't be phony. I don't think I can be fake or phony neither. Can't show fake love. But I can be cordial. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:35:35 I don't have to love everybody I work with. Growing up in the hood, you're not taught to be cordial. So when did you learn that? Because you're not taught to be cordial. But we ain't talking
Starting point is 00:35:43 about the hood right now. We're talking about our careers. But if you come in, but that's what I'm trying to say. That's my point. If you're coming from the hood and all you got is this way and this mentality, when do you learn something different? What's hood and what's your career? I know how to be cordial now.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Right. I'm not going to be fake. I can be cordial. What's up, baby? How you doing? All right. And then keep it going. We ain't going to sit down here and have a drink and shit.
Starting point is 00:36:02 That's called playing the game. That's what I'm trying to tell you. But see, I didn't know it was playing the game. I'm trying to keep my black ass out of jail and not getting no bullshit. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:36:11 Trust me, I've been in times where I've got caught so many cases that I just don't care no more. I don't really care what a motherfucker's opinion or their opinion of me is their opinion.
Starting point is 00:36:22 That ain't even my business. As long as they don't bring it to me, I'm so confident in myself. The thing is, I started to learn that. As long as they don't bring it to you, what do you mean by that? It's not physical. I don't really care.
Starting point is 00:36:37 What about if you're in the same space as them? It's something totally different. I've hoped to never cross that bridge. I've hoped to never get in that traffic. You know what I'm saying? That's the fact. You know what I'm saying? So, and that's another thing, because I know we bouncing all over the place, is, well,
Starting point is 00:36:53 you know what? Let's stay over there. No, you're right. You're talking about playing the game. Yeah. And I understand playing the game, but you play the game. Because I'm going to tell you like this. Even when I watched you on The Breakfast Club, right?
Starting point is 00:37:03 Right. I can tell you didn't want to be there. I wanted to be there because I fuck with... Listen, man, let me get this straight. Okay. Envy had been supporting my shit. Me and E used to be cool since going to poke knockers and shit, you know what I'm saying, in Brooklyn. And then Charlamagne in the beginning, he was a supporter, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:37:20 Shout out to him. Now I know this is his music entertainment. I've got no issues with people. It is what it is. You can't just expect from people what you would do for them. You know what I'm saying? So at there, I wanted to go up there because I always want to promote what the fuck I got going on. One of my new projects and shit.
Starting point is 00:37:37 You know what I'm saying? But I don't think it's playing a game. It's like shit. Like when you say play the game, everybody play the game. Even if you talking about with a woman she want to go out on 10 days she's running to check up everything you playing that game until you can finally get some pussy because that's what you want now but when the pussy good you're supposed to keep playing the game what i'm saying is so that's what you
Starting point is 00:37:57 come off like sometimes you come off like the nigga that got some good pussy and still i'm gonna have to interrupt this real quick we're gonna get back into the serious thing but your that got some good pussy and still not playing the game. Hold on, hold on, one second, one second. And you stopped playing the game, man. You got some pussy. I'm going to have to interrupt this real quick. We're going to get back into the serious thing. Starting point is 00:41:57 He like to kill it. This is actually sold. Chumba, the story behind this, they took the master distiller from Don Julio. They had been there for 20 years. And this actually tastes like a baby 1942. Oh, wow. So they Brooklyned it out.

Starting point is 00:42:36 but we celebrate artists' careers, man. So many people want to kick people out in our culture. We want to embrace people. We want to tell people, you know what I'm saying,
Starting point is 00:42:45 your life, your struggle is something that we relate to. To me, rappers, you know, the life that we live is we superheroes.
Starting point is 00:42:53 So, you know what I mean? I want to salute people, you know what I mean? That's why when I seen you, I said, I think it's time, man. We should have been sat down and, you know,

Starting point is 00:46:10 Yeah, we got... We was talking about, you know, playing the game. Yeah. You know? And about a politically correct shit. And I know you're going to be like, man, why the fuck are you even saying... I just... All right.
Starting point is 00:46:23 What most motherfuckers will come up and do, they come in with their fucking hat in hand and they be trying to fucking beg for a job, beg for a way in. I don't beg for shit. I make my own way. You know what I'm saying? So while we talking about most people coming, yeah, man, I'm just so fucking humble and I'm just so, you know, anything that you need, just, you know, just love me. Man, fuck that.
Starting point is 00:46:44 I'm not, I'm not in this shit for that. I'm in this shit for the bag. You know what anything that you need, just, you know, just love me. I mean, fuck that. I'm not in this shit for that. I'm in this shit for the bag. You know what I'm saying? Right. And then when we talked about playing the game to get what you want. Right. What about when you already got everything you want? Right.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Now you got to think of new achievements. That's what I'm doing right now. That's true. I already got everything. You know, I know. First, the only thing I wanted coming up in her was to get a Benz, to get a Rolex, and then to move out my mama crib. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:47:10 I did that. In rap, I just want a gold record. I want a million dollars. That's why I said if I get that freshman cover, I know I can get me a million dollars. You know what I'm saying? And I said I wanted a super foreign, and I wanted a building. I did that. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:47:27 So these are all the accomplishments and the goals that I have for me in life. This is an issue that I have. I don't believe that it was only for the bag because you could
Starting point is 00:47:34 wrap your ass off. You know what I'm saying? So I know you're a student of the game. Most definitely. Most definitely. I'm a student of the game. And let me tell you something.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Let me tell you something. He is a student of the game. That's what game That's what That's what kept me here That's not That's not the thing The thing is I know
Starting point is 00:47:49 What I'm trying to show People is What I know of I'm trying to show That he's a student of the game They might misunderstand What he's saying And think it's just
Starting point is 00:47:57 About the bag That's why I'm telling them You can get everything You can get history And that's not I don't think it's just that Well you know what
Starting point is 00:48:04 I'm going to keep it One hundred Because I can't think it's just that. Well, you know what? I'm going to keep it 100 because I can't do fake shit. When I first came in the game, it was just for the bag. I seen somebody get in a bag, rapping about shit that I was really doing. And I say, yo, let me stop, you know, hustling this little cracking shit and try to get into rap. That might be a little bit smarter. It was just strictly for the bag. Then when I started touching people and motherfuckers like, yo, we fuck with your music.
Starting point is 00:48:27 And like, people be talking about how I changed their life of words I say. And I be talking about my real life. So when I first came in this motherfucker, it was for the bag. It wasn't for no fame or nothing like that. Because like you said, you can look back. Hindsight is 2020. You can say, all right, well,
Starting point is 00:48:40 damn, maybe you should have took a deal. Maybe you could have did whatever. I didn't come into the game talking about, like I already had you know I had a couple women I had some money I had some I had some fame
Starting point is 00:48:50 because I was a little popular from hustling but I just came in for more money I didn't come in the shit that I'd seen and did I couldn't even fathom it it was all extras
Starting point is 00:48:58 but the main thing I came for was a bag and then after when the shit started working and people like yo I really fuck with your shit people running like ain't
Starting point is 00:49:07 you know like being in the club and motherfuckers ice grilling you hard this happened the whole time ice grill face
Starting point is 00:49:13 you playing your record not even that they ice grilling you you walk through ice grilling everything and then you like you know me
Starting point is 00:49:19 I'm not passionate I'm good what's up you good and they like yo I fuck with your record and then they go back to ice grilling you know what I'm saying and that mean like it, what's up? And he's good. And they're like, yo, I fuck with your record, sir. And then they go back to Ice Grill.
Starting point is 00:49:26 You know what I'm saying? And that mean like, it take a lot for somebody to be like, yo, I need to take a picture with you. Yo,
Starting point is 00:49:32 I'll fuck with you. And I was in, I was fucking, I was sitting right next to Michael Jordan. And I didn't want to take a picture with him just because,
Starting point is 00:49:40 you know, that hood pride and that ego shit. You know what I'm saying? I wish I would've took that picture now. But it take a lot. A motherfucker gotta really, really fuck with you. Like, yo, my nigga, that hood pride and that ego shit. You know what I'm saying? I wish I would have took that picture now. But it take a lot. A motherfucker got to really, really fuck with you.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Like, yo, my nigga, I don't even. You know how many times people, yo, I don't even do this shit. I ain't no groupie. But, yo, I need a picture, my nigga. And I be like, yo, it ain't no groupie shit. Because a real nigga not going to take it like that. Only these fake niggas that ain't used to shit going to take it. All these niggas on my dick.
Starting point is 00:50:00 No, nigga, they fuck with your music. They fuck with what you're doing. You know what I'm saying? So that's when it goes from being for the bag to, okay, this shit is bigger than that. It's bigger than I even thought about. I didn't think about
Starting point is 00:50:09 no shit like that. I just thought about getting the money. Oh, you ain't fucking with my shit? Let me ask you somewhat personal. Do you think
Starting point is 00:50:17 the industry had a personal with you? Or did it develop? I feel like I just I feel like I just I mean, some people might think like this. Like blackballing type industry shit? That you. I feel like I just fucking- I mean, some people might think like this. Like blackballing type industry shit?
Starting point is 00:50:28 That's why I wanted him to say it. Man, I just feel like I went against the grain. You know what I'm saying? But I went against the grain because I had to. It was either that or I wasn't going to eat or I was going to hustle and then just be in jail and be a nigga that had some potential and then ended up nowhere. So I went against the grain. And Nas said it best.
Starting point is 00:50:47 He was just, people hate what they don't understand. You know what I'm saying? And if you're doing everything that... If everybody would have came in and did shit like me, after I came in, the first nigga in the door, the first one to get shot. Period.
Starting point is 00:51:01 You bust the door open, you're going to get hit. You know what I mean? So if everybody would have came in and did how I did, man, fuck these deals. That ain't enough bread. Yeah, we're going to get shot. Period. You bust a door open, you're going to get hit. You know what I mean? So, if everybody would have came in and did how I did, man, fuck these deals. That ain't enough bread. Yeah, we going to be independent. Rob Markman, What's going on? The radio's tracking the shit out of me. Look, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:51:12 I'm sorry. We still going to have people pumping our shit. We just going to work harder. Then that shit would have shifted the game. It would have fucked up the infrastructure. You know what I'm saying? On some Independence Day, blowing shit up. But now, all right, you niggas might not have made... The people that did take the deal,
Starting point is 00:51:29 okay, cool, you made five, six million in a year, you know what I'm saying, but it ain't about that. It's about making 10 million over fucking seven years, you know what I'm saying? 20 million over fucking 11 years, you know what I'm saying? It's about that type of... Rob Markman, The Lifetime of the Revenant. Rob Markman, The Lifetime of the Re. I'm in it for the long run. I'm in it for the long run.
Starting point is 00:51:46 I got two little kids. If I go to jail, if I go to jail on Friday, I go to court. If I go to jail, then what? It ain't going to be, hey, label,
Starting point is 00:51:53 can you pay for my kids? No, I don't do that. I'm not a dick sucker. I'm not, I don't get on my knees for nothing, nigga. I stand tall and I make my own bag,
Starting point is 00:52:03 period. Right. So, I mean mean that's really that's really it man yeah you know what you guys mean nah I mean shit nigga I'm the same way I smoke with frankincense and merch. You know what I'm saying? I didn't want to ask that. I come there and give some shit. You know Big K would get a little. I'll be Big K after we interview.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Or they got some chicken. I would like some chicken, Big K. I don't want to eat on camera and be sloppy and shit. Not a taco. Eat me sloppy. If I get too high, I'll start telling K, let's just cut this interview off. No, no, no. just cut this interview off. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Nah, I'm fucking with you. Because
Starting point is 00:52:46 the world really want to hear from you, you know what I'm saying? As they should because I feel like it's one-sided to a certain extent with a lot of situations. It's supposed to be that. It was one-sided against Jesus.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Everybody hated him. It's supposed to be like that. It's supposed to hate you when was one side against Jesus right it's supposed to be like that right it's supposed to hate you when you're doing different shit and you moving righteous when you moving against the grain they supposed to hate you that's what they is good and evil you know I'm saying is fucking this heaven to hell like they supposed to do that ain't nothing that I'm ain't nothing that I did ordinary so you got to expect a bunch of ordinary people to go against that. Right. Because it's shit shit. You know what I'm saying? I ain't going to eat yet. Yeah, yeah, cool. We trying to go on camera.
Starting point is 00:53:31 But we want to eat though. God damn it. I want to smoke. I want to drink. I want to talk crazy. You got to relax. You got to relax. That's what I want. That's my goal. I'm waiting up to it. Because a lot of, like what EFN said, I want to focus on that. You really rap, rap.
Starting point is 00:53:49 Thank you. Appreciate that. I'm not even going to lie. Even when you said weirdos, I knew exactly what you meant, but it was like the world knew. They knew exactly what you meant too, but it was like- Even when I say you'd rather your kid be the user or the dealer it was a big outrage
Starting point is 00:54:07 because of that. Right. Of course. Because fuck it's too politically correct. Right. Then you could be on some you'd be politically correct
Starting point is 00:54:14 but then look when Donald Trump ain't politically correct he'd become the president. Yeah. Well you just when you're trying to say you was the first
Starting point is 00:54:20 Donald Trump God damn it. No I don't know you should know that shit. He's like ah don't make a noise for that., I don't know any shit about that shit. He's like, ah, don't make a noise for that. Yeah, yeah, don't make no noise for that. No, but,
Starting point is 00:54:28 but in a lot of ways, the shock value of you, like, I'm not going to lie to you. The internet, that was like, like leading up to the incident that happened, like, that internet,
Starting point is 00:54:43 I never knew the internet was that powerful. You understand what I'm saying? I just never knew it would get anywhere near any type of real. We can hold off on that. Do you regret believing into the internet shit? You know what's crazy to me it's crazy when people say
Starting point is 00:55:07 it's crazy when people say like to me internet shit should be internet shit then when it cross over to real life shit like I said if there's someone
Starting point is 00:55:16 hating on you then they appear in this room and they attacking you what the fuck you gonna do like if you remember Fab Ray J Fab made was playing with Ray J.
Starting point is 00:55:25 You know what's fucking crazy? What? You know what's crazy? Yeah. I went on BET. This is how loyal I am. This is how loyal I am. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:55:34 And I fuck with Ray J now. I met him and all that type of shit. You know what I'm saying? Kicked him with Birdman or whatever. But, like, I'm a loyal nigga. Right. So, before I got on rap, I used to kick it with Fab and shit, you know what I'm saying? And then shout out to Tahiri.
Starting point is 00:55:50 She plugged me just on the Humble and they just thought we had the same jeweler and we just kicking it the fuck with the nigga. Rob Markman, Jr.: You and Tahiri or you and Fab? Rob Markman, Jr.: No, no. Me and Tahiri was always cool. Rob Markman, Jr.: But you and Tahiri had the same jeweler, because that don't sound right. Rob Markman, Jr.: No, no. Rob Markman, Jr.: Oh, you and Fab had the same jeweler.
Starting point is 00:56:04 He reaching. He reaching. You got to relax. You got to relax. So I opened it. I said, hold on. Go ahead. Go ahead. Continue.
Starting point is 00:56:11 So anyway, I ain't fucking with you. So we a faggot that had the same jeweler. David the jeweler. Shout out to David Blaine. And then niggas just became cool on some natural shit. None of the force or whatever. And then I remember he had this situation on Ray J, and it's my first time. This show you how much I put on for, not just saying him, but just for, if I fuck with somebody
Starting point is 00:56:32 in general, it's my first time on BET. I'm bringing the whole BSB up there. And look, I'm going to show you, my character speak for itself. When I had my first record moving, and I first got the XXL cover, instead of me putting out a mixtape or a project for myself, I said, I'm going to put out BSB Volume 4 and let my niggas shine with the light. You know what I'm saying? And being a real nigga is a handicap a lot of times.
Starting point is 00:56:56 So anyway, this is my first time getting on BET. We on the 106th and Park. It's some shit. I'm like, yo, they want to show you up. Hold on. Let's bring all my homies up. Let's bring all my niggas up. I'm going to share this five, ten minutes, whatever y'all giving me.
Starting point is 00:57:09 Introduce my niggas to the world. Ray J was the host. Whatever was happening, I remember, I don't know if I called Fab or texted him. Yo, you want me to do something to this nigga? Because it was a problem. And I'm like, nigga, this is my man. And it's a problem. I don't give a fuck if I'm on 106 and Park.
Starting point is 00:57:29 Because Ray J did say he was going to have the homies run up in fab. Right. He did say that. Run up in? This was sexual. Whoa. In case you didn't know. See, I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:57:39 I just knew it was a problem. And when I'm loyal, I draw a line. Nigga, I'm loyal. I draw a line, period. This is what I'm fucking with. All right, well, whatever. If you want me to do it, I'll punch this nigga in his mouth right now. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:57:55 I ain't taking nothing away from Ray J because I fuck with this nigga now. But I thought it was real issues. And Fab was like, no, I forgot what he said. But to paraphrase, he was like, nah, that ain't about shit or whatever. You know what I'm saying? So I just said that to say that that type of loyalty and shit is a handicap in the game and motherfuckers in the game ain't that loyal with their own people, with their mama, with people they just met, whatever.
Starting point is 00:58:18 So of course they're going to go against that nigga. They always going to hate on the fly, nigga, a bunch of bums. You got two options. You're going to hate on the fly, nigga, a bunch of bums. You got two options. You going to hate or you going to dick ride. Niggas most likely going to choose to hate. Straight up,
Starting point is 00:58:29 because nobody want to be a dick rider. So, let me ask you. And now hate is acceptable. It's a different world we live in. Being a hater was always some sucky shit. That was never acceptable. And then,
Starting point is 00:58:40 how the fuck is, nigga, you can't take the internet and then apply it. Anything that happen on the internet is not no street shit. You know what I'm saying? Because if it happen on the internet, the world can see it. If you got a problem with a nigga and they talking, the feds can look at that, the state
Starting point is 00:58:53 police, everybody. So, the street shit don't apply to the, street rules don't apply to the internet, never. Because it's on the internet. It's out there. You know what I'm saying? If you a dickhead, you come in here on TV shows, say y'all was filming live, and a nigga fucking, man, oh man, I want to get into some details, nigga. I'm going to chill.
Starting point is 00:59:13 So, got to relax. Got to relax. When you said, was it the weirdo line that TDE took offense to? You know what's crazy? They asked me that fucking, they asked me the question, like, I think I was on Hot N' 7. Shout out to Rosenberg, too.
Starting point is 00:59:29 Rosenberg was, he was playing my shit early, you know what I'm saying? He was responsible. We got DeJuan Epstein and all. He was responsible for helping break my music. And Mass Appeal and Endeavor,
Starting point is 00:59:37 big of the month. They out now. They out now. It's back together, man. We're dropping this episode like very soon, so. Yeah, go ahead. So, um, what the fuck was the question?
Starting point is 00:59:48 You got me smart as shit. You talking about TDE or something? Yeah, TDE. So, they asked me the question, like, who I think is who I consider weirdo rappers. I'm like, the fuck? I don't got no media training. I don't got any shit. I'm just like, yo, these who I consider weirdo rappers, but that don't mean I don't fuck with them.
Starting point is 01:00:04 Like, it's like, who you consider a fucking dope rapper or a gangster rapper? So what's your definition of weirdo, though, then, just to make sense of it? I mean, at the time, it was different, because now, if you say, what's the definition of a skinny nigga, right? Everybody 500 pounds. If you 300 pounds, you a skinny nigga. Real shit. So nowadays- That's too smart of an answer. That was hard. That ain't gonna lie. Let, you a skinny nigga. Real shit. So nowadays... That's too smart of an answer.
Starting point is 01:00:26 That was hard. Let me get a round of applause for that. That ain't no fire. Go ahead. With your definition, you outnumbered, man. You be outnumbered by fake niggas and different shit. Now it be like, damn, I'm the widow.
Starting point is 01:00:44 I'm the widow for being a man of my word. I'm the widow for putting on for my niggas and different shit. So now it'd be like, damn, I'm the widow. I'm the widow for being the man of my word. I'm the widow for putting on for my niggas, for having loyalty. I'm the widow for thinking like fake shit is real. What happened was,
Starting point is 01:00:54 I think TDE or something and then Rob Marksman. Was that accurate? Now I see what you're thinking about two separate situations. All this shit he has in the making. Okay, cool. This ain't no episode.
Starting point is 01:01:04 Break it down. Break it down. Break it down. We're making a movie This ain't no episode Break it down Break it down We making the movie now as well Let's go Break it down Break it down So The earlier they asked me
Starting point is 01:01:15 Who are those The widows or whatever And then you know I say like who Yeah these people Cause I was the only nigga saying Was it Joey Badass And Ace Iraqi
Starting point is 01:01:24 Or no No no no I fuck with Ace Iraqi Okay No it wasn't Joey people. It was like Kendrick. I was the only nigga saying. Was it Joey Badass and Ace Iraqi? No, no, no. I fucked with Ace Iraqi. Okay. No, it wasn't Joey Badass. It was Kanye West and fucking Kendrick Lamar. But they brought up these names and asked me all those people weirdos and shit. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:01:38 Which is, because I was the only person that coined the term weirdo rappers. Now, mind you, other people start using that shit after. Saying that shit, God bless the dead, Nipsey Hussle. You know what I'm saying? They start saying that shit. Later on, identifying with it. But I was the only one coining the phrase. So they asked me about a list of people who was a widow rapper.
Starting point is 01:01:57 I was like, nah, this person, nah. Oh, this person, yeah. But it wasn't like, yeah, I don't fuck with them niggas. It was like, yeah, nigga, all right, they a little rapper. Kanye, one of my favorite rappers. The niggas, man. I be going hard with my clothing line, G-I-G-P-S, because Kanye made his shit out the mud. And went hard when motherfuckers told him, yo, no, you can't do this.
Starting point is 01:02:16 This is not happening. Nigga went hard. Niggas be downing him. Niggas be crucifying him like Christ. And I get the same crucifixion on a lower level, but I still get it. So I relate. They told me he couldn't rap. Nah, Kanye,
Starting point is 01:02:29 you can't be a rapper, just make beats. And he did it on his own without no help. That's that independent shit like I do. You feel me? So it sounds like
Starting point is 01:02:36 Weirdo H is different. It's different, but then it all depends on the times. Which could be bad or good depending on who's looking at it. Hey, yo, they crucified, EFN,
Starting point is 01:02:44 they crucified me on Hot Niggas 7 one day. I think I was talking with Ebro. It was the great crack debate. I was talking about, fuck yo, why you saying bricks in my backpack and powder to the people? Don't you think that's fucked up because of Black Panthers and all types of shit? Listen, man. That's fucked up. At this time, I sell crack.
Starting point is 01:03:03 I come in this game selling coke. At that time, I probably didn't say that, but I can only rap about me and my life. I'm not a fake nigga. I can't rap about nobody else's life, no other shit. But they crucified me. It's all online. You go see it. Yo, you shouldn't be talking powder to the people. We fuck with you, Troy.
Starting point is 01:03:18 But powder to the people is fucked up. You shouldn't be doing that and saying powder. I'm like, this is what's really happening. So I got crucified for that, but then later on, it's cool for everybody to rap about drugs and all kinds of dope shit. Let me hone in on something he said. He said something interesting. He said he didn't have any media
Starting point is 01:03:35 training, which just kind of goes back to the stuff you were saying about the majors. Because in your era of the majors, they did media training. No, I ain't never get that, though. Well, I don't know what you did, but most people did get it. Word, I ain't never get that. See, you get what you have, a buffet or whatever the fuck you want.
Starting point is 01:03:51 Yeah, I picked the Jews to put that part with. A lot of artists have media training. Yeah, I ain't never see that, though, EFN. I worked on the marketing side. I saw it a lot. So what would you describe as media training? They would actually sit with the publicist
Starting point is 01:04:06 and they would talk about, look, this is how... Yeah, I ain't go to those meetings yet. That was you. You didn't want to show up to the meeting. Yeah, you're right. You're right.
Starting point is 01:04:12 You're right. I did see that. I did. I did see that. I did. I was about to say, I was about to say, I've never seen that.
Starting point is 01:04:17 You skipped that part. No, I did. I ain't going to lie. It's true. And the difference is when you're independent and you're young and you go out into media...
Starting point is 01:04:24 It's true. They're going to talk to you like they talk to the top pop star or the major label artists. They're going to talk to you the same way. And they know that those guys are like politicians because they were media trained. And then you're not. You're just going to say it off the cuff. You're only going to get real shit with me because at the end of the day, I care about who I care about. And I don't give a fuck about who I don't.
Starting point is 01:04:46 Period. And I don't have to. The way my life's set up, nigga, my life's like a sandwich. No matter how you flip it, you're going to see the bread. Period. That's the way my life's set up. It don't matter. That's another one. That's another one.
Starting point is 01:04:59 That's another one. You got to relax. I wasn't trying to spin a ball You ain't a pair of You ain't You ain't a pair of niggas yet You're gonna swing it on these Hold on Now I wouldn't
Starting point is 01:05:13 I used that book So now after that After that It was a situation I believe Where You said that Rob Marksman Had
Starting point is 01:05:22 Way after This is way after This is years after Okay This is way after. This is years after. Okay. This is probably three years after or whatever. And this shit happened while I was in jail. We was trying to put a play together. I'm like, man, I'm about to come out of jail.
Starting point is 01:05:36 We got to make a move or whatever. And I forget whatever happened, but the paraphrases I'm talking with, I'm talking with Hovind, you know what I'm saying? Shout out to Hovind too, man. Yeah, shout out to Hovind. Shout out to him. You know what I'm saying? That's hard with Hovain, you know what I'm saying? Shout out to Hovain too, man. Yeah, shout out to Hovain. Shout out to him. You know what I'm saying? That's hard.
Starting point is 01:05:48 That's hard. You know what I'm saying? That was my nigga. We came up together and shit. That's hard. And he got kids or whatever, you know what I'm saying? That's hard. I see him, he owe me five minutes in the room, pause, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:05:58 But that's still my nigga. That's hard. And then we move on from there. That's hard. But anyway, yeah, I'm maturing. That's hard. You know what I'm saying? I'm growing up. And I don't know fake maturing shit. That's hard. I'm, yeah, I'm maturing. That's hard. You know what I'm saying? I'm growing up.
Starting point is 01:06:05 And I don't know fake maturing shit. That's hard. I'm going to still be rich regardless. Maturing can't be fake. That's a fact. Just so you know. Okay, continue. So anyway, we was on the phone.
Starting point is 01:06:14 I'm on the jail. Bless you, my nigga. We on the jail phone. I'm like, yo, let's make a play, man. And you know what I'm saying? Shout out to Rob Maltman. He was very supportive in the beginning or whatever. Right.
Starting point is 01:06:24 You know what I'm saying? A lot of people were supportive and then they drew a line in the scene, which whatever, I respect it because I drew lines in the scene. You know what I'm saying? But anyway, I'm like, yo, reach out to fucking TDE or some shit
Starting point is 01:06:38 because there was some shit, whatever happened, whatever I said, it was. I don't remember, but Rob Maltman reached out. Somebody else reached out. Rob Markman, So what you already had said on the radio, that already happened, right? So you talking after this?
Starting point is 01:06:52 Rob Markman, That been happening. That been happening. But this shit was after. I'm like, man, fuck this New York shit niggas be hating, man. I'm going to the West Coast. You know what I'm saying? Rob Markman, Right, right. Rob Markman, That's when I came out with New Pop.
Starting point is 01:07:02 I was on my pop shit. I went to jail and all that shit. Those are real pictures on that pop album. Ain't no Photoshop shit. I didn't make that shit up. That's my real life in comparison to Tupac. So that's why I came with the New Pop shit. But when you sitting in jail, you got time to think about shit.
Starting point is 01:07:16 Especially when you sitting in a wheelchair. It's one thing to be sitting, but then you really sitting when you in a wheelchair. You ain't doing shit. So I got time to think. And I'm like, man, fuck this shit, nigga. I'm moving. It's some bullshit. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:07:27 You don't see motherfuckers, you don't see that shit happening in other places, whatever, whatever. I'm going to tell you, Long, they put the play together, and they was talking to somebody else from TDE. I don't really be knowing the name, but the executive. However, maybe, maybe not. Because you see where this shit came in with the game. But niggas say we was never talking to Troy Harris
Starting point is 01:07:48 or no shit like that. And Troy Harris, I don't be fucking lying. Why the fuck? I would never say that, even if I was. What's wrong with saying, yeah, what's wrong with being like, yeah, you know what? I spoke to, and then here go with it real. Hold on a second.
Starting point is 01:08:02 How does a sober guy drop the glass? Oh my god I'm sorry Too much real shit High frequency singing Just making niggas shake and shit So like what's Even like what's
Starting point is 01:08:17 If somebody tell me Somebody can tell me This I'm going to always say what really, you know what I'm saying? So for whatever reason, I don't know if anybody ever asked Rob Markman, did them conversations happen with him and them? I don't know if anybody ever asked Hovane if them
Starting point is 01:08:33 conversations happened, but you know, if they 100, and they got any type of 100 bony body, I'm like, yeah, that happened. But then a lot of niggas might not do that because then they don't want no controversy with those other people because now you're contradicting them. I don't give a fuck about controversy. Because my success and my money don't, the way I set my life up, like I said, my money don't, it ain't going to go down based on no nigga.
Starting point is 01:08:59 Somebody might help it go up, but I'm still going to do my thing. Period. So I don't got to rely on nobody. I don't got to play nice. I don't got to worry. But somebody call me up. Niggas will call niggas a lie to their face. And they'll be like, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:11 You right. You know what I'm saying? Just because they know, they got to play the game. And you know, because I'm pretty sure you done been through shit like that before. Let me ask you right now. Roc Nation. Roc Nation is amazing. And say, Troy Ave, we got two million, but we want to invest in your establishment.
Starting point is 01:09:32 Are you playing the game, or are you going to? You can't. I mean, I'm sorry I put a number on it. But what I'm saying, someone that elaborate, that establish. I said establish. Or even, let's just say, TD,
Starting point is 01:09:47 if they came out to say. Because I have a lot of respect for TD, and I think. We all do. And I think he does as well. Yeah, I respect for what
Starting point is 01:09:55 they did in the game and all that, you know what I'm saying? The only thing is that little hiccup when they said the conversation didn't happen,
Starting point is 01:10:00 that did happen. Or else, like, in those conversations, somebody lying. It's either three other people lying or that one person is lying at TDE. You know what I'm saying? So somebody lying.
Starting point is 01:10:10 You feel me? It's either Hovind, Rob Markman, or the lady that shall remain nameless. One of them is lying. All three of them is lying or one person is lying. That's what I don't respect. But at the end of the day, when you're doing business, it ain't about respect what I'm learning. And that's what you say with playing the game.
Starting point is 01:10:26 You feel me? So, first of all, Rock Nation, I tip my hat to them. I used to be in the studio with Fab and Lenny S. When Lenny photo, taking mad pictures. Niggas don't know, Lenny did my motherfucking Bricks in My Backpack 3. He did a photo shoot to my album cover. That's a fact. Who did?
Starting point is 01:10:45 Lenny S. I always give credit and salute that man. And that was the shit that blew me up. So he had the vision. Wow. Period. So as far as that, you got to remember, I always say who my motivation is and shit. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:11:00 Coming out. And then Jay-Z was, of course, one of my motivations. And to see, I got like four or five different businesses. You know what I'm saying? And that's with me just working and grinding. That ain't by accident. That's by seeing motherfuckers trailblaze before me. Okay, you can do this.
Starting point is 01:11:16 You can do that. You can do this. You can do that. So if they came to me with a situation, of course I would definitely entertain it. Like look at Jim Jones. He had a problem with them. He went and did his thing. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:11:28 Jones got a high album out right now. Pick up Jim Jones. He out here working, man. We're proud of you out there, Jim Jones. We're watching this. Please. So, I'm not entertaining nothing, but I know at the same time I'm not waiting for shit. Of course.
Starting point is 01:11:41 Because I got rich and I got to stay rich regardless. You know what I'm saying? Now, if a motherfucker tell me I'm going to go get 50 Rob Markman, Of course. Rob Markman, Because I got rich and I got to stay rich regardless. Of course. Rob Markman, You know what I'm saying? Now if a motherfucker tell me I'm going to go get 50 million or what kind of shit, cool. I can't even fathom that. That's like you saying, stay independent or take the deal. The 50 million, 100 million, that shit I can't even fathom. I'm cool with capping off for maybe 25 million.
Starting point is 01:12:00 I'm cool with that. Right now I do anything I want to do. My kids stay in the freshest shit. I drive all the cars that I want to drive. Every place I live is luxury. A lot of niggas go to a hotel and that shit is better than their cribs. Never me. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:12:14 Going as much vacations. My mom staying in diamonds. You know what I'm saying? Like whatever. So like you got to think, nigga accomplish everything you want to accomplish. Now if you tell me, nigga come on, I got a fucking boat. I got a little mini yacht. Come on, who from Queens out the hood got that?
Starting point is 01:12:31 Nobody from Brooklyn out the hood got that. Straight up. I got a little mini yacht, dog. Don't make no sense. Right. So, now, if you're telling me, like, yo, here, you can play the game and get these much more money, then that's cool. But that's something I'm not even fathoming.
Starting point is 01:12:44 Just, like, getting a deal. All right, well, you can be this much and get these much more money than that's cool, but that's something I'm not even fathoming. Just like getting a deal. All right, well, you can be this much bigger. All right, well, the higher you go, the more you got to fall. So I just take the slow, steady climb. Let's take a shot of Tiger Bone with that. Oh, man. God damn. That's a little shot, too.
Starting point is 01:12:58 That's a little shot, too. Yo, who the fuck poured these? I didn't even see these get poured. Who poured these? Who's responsible poured these? I didn't even see these get poured. Who poured these? Who's responsible for these shit? Resident Dominican. Listen, man. If I get somebody pregnant tonight,
Starting point is 01:13:09 you are 50% culpable. Give that nigga one of them sheets so he can sign it. Fucking tight. You're going to have to pay child support for it? This shit on Revolt? Revolt got to pay.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Yeah, that's good. That's some real hustling right there. You got to relax with all these shots. Cheers. Cheers, cheers. So, there's a big thing going on. It's a big challenge going on right now. I'm so Brooklyn.
Starting point is 01:13:30 We noticed you're not participating. See, here go the controversy. I'm not participating. You see I'm not participating. I tell you. Man, people hit me about doing the shit. It ain't no... You know what I'm saying? I just didn't get around to it. I got like three Mad people hit me about doing the shit. It ain't no... You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:13:45 I just didn't get around to it. I got like three court cases on me. I got a civil case. I got a fucking family court. I got criminal court. There's a detailed video, man. You know what I'm saying? I got a new single, Money Over Here out, and I got another banger coming.
Starting point is 01:14:00 I got all kinds of shit on my mind. I got to get in the studio and then just fuck around with it. I ain't even been in the studio. I ain't even been working. But, you know, a lot of people want me to do it. You know what I'm saying? And it's dope. It's like Fab and Casanova, right?
Starting point is 01:14:16 You know what I'm saying? That shit's dope, actually. I don't got no shit with me. I ain't even say Asanova. I say Casanova. I don't care. Like, I'm... All this shit is like... You see, I'm maturing. I'm like, man, whatever, man. I don't even care about nothingva. I say Casanova. I don't care. All this shit is like, you see, I'm maturing.
Starting point is 01:14:26 I'm like, man, whatever, man. I don't even care about nothing. I'm being cordial. You feel me? So, yeah, when I get around to it, I'll definitely do it, and I'm going to fuck it up how I usually fuck shit up. Not being cocky. That's the thing that kept me in the game. I didn't have mad groups and activists and all type of fucking media people trying to
Starting point is 01:14:45 get me up out of here. They was constantly slandering me. They tried to crucify me like Christ, constantly slandering me. But another motherfucker, like I said, would have been hunging up, would have been done, would have been broke on the curb, period. But I keep elevating and keep going. I fight through it. I'm like the nigga going up the mountain.
Starting point is 01:15:01 They're all like, man, shit blowing. Okay, I'll keep pushing. So, if enough, I still like to say that when I get around to do the challenge, I'm going to fuck around with it. But let's not make it like a controversy. Like, well, they got that going. Because look, I never did no challenges. If you look at me, I'm not with the gimmick shit.
Starting point is 01:15:20 I wouldn't ask you about any of the challenges. I'm so Brooklyn. That's the reason why. That's particularly. Ain't no playing a game. That's the reason why. That's particularly... But A-No, come on. A-No's playing a game. Where's the camera at? Nah, nah, nah.
Starting point is 01:15:29 Where's the camera at? It's all over there. He's playing a game. Look at his face. Get a zoom in. I'm actually zooming. He's playing a game. Is he zooming in on me or you?
Starting point is 01:15:36 I'm going to tell you. No, on you. Okay, I'm going to tell you. Look at his face. Look at his eyes. I don't care. Nah, I'm a hip hop. He's playing a game.
Starting point is 01:15:41 You know why he's playing a game? I'm a hip hop. Because he said, I noticed you haven't participated in the So Brooklyn Challenge. Exactly. That's why I playing the game I'm hip hop Because he said I noticed you haven't Participated in the So Brooklyn Challenge That's why I was being funny But he didn't say I noticed you haven't
Starting point is 01:15:48 Participated in any challenge Over the past four or five years Yeah because you know why It's different when it's Brooklyn All of y'all Let me tell you something You want to see him Let me tell you something
Starting point is 01:15:57 About Brooklyn people You can name a nigga That's from the tip of Brooklyn And that nigga will be So proud to be from Brooklyn. There's no prouder people in the world. I ain't gonna hold you. That's how it used to be.
Starting point is 01:16:11 That challenge is bringing it back. I'm about to tell you how it's not like it anymore. Let me tell you how it's not like it anymore. I used to go places and be like, where's Brooklyn at? None of these motherfuckers there is from Brooklyn. And then when it's really a person from Brooklyn,
Starting point is 01:16:28 they really just, y'all the proudest niggas in the world. I think y'all need to relax. I know, it ain't late. I think the Brooklyn niggas need to relax. Niggas done relaxed.
Starting point is 01:16:37 Niggas relaxed. The internet made the world smaller. So you can't say, oh, I'm from Brooklyn, but then when you make records, you're selling you from Atlanta. It don't go like that. You know what I'm saying? When I say I'm from Brooklyn, but then when you make records, you're sounding like you're from Atlanta. It don't go like that.
Starting point is 01:16:47 You know what I'm saying? When I say I'm from New York, I make New York City album. You was on New York City album. Yes, I was. You were Ray Kwan. Yes, sir. God bless the day. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 01:16:54 I listen to all these niggas. I studied the game. So I said, when I get them on a beat, I need them sounding like what I always envisioned and heard them sound like. So anybody you hear on New York City album, they sound like that. You know what I'm saying? I got Joe Crack on this shit sounding crazy. He not on that.
Starting point is 01:17:12 He on the other shit. Maybe what I did. But like I said, people can say whatever, whatever, but the internet closed shit because now we use slangs from other places. New York would never be like, yo, that's cap, no cap. Look at facto. The word facto spread. Facts and facto.
Starting point is 01:17:28 I started facts. Yeah, what is no cap? I'm being honest. What does no cap mean? I heard you just say that. Well, you know what? What does that mean? I'm not from Atlanta
Starting point is 01:17:35 where it started. I have no idea. I'm not from where it started. I've been saying it too, but I don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about. You saying something you don't know.
Starting point is 01:17:41 I'll be like, no cap. I know how to reference it. Yeah, I think it means you're bullshitting, but a lot of times people saying stupid, they it. Yeah, I think it means you're bullshit but a lot of times people saying stupid they go and say yeah it means this or it came from that
Starting point is 01:17:48 and it didn't really come from that. But I think it means we use it as no bullshit. Yeah, no bullshit. Exactly. You know what I'm saying? So like, you know,
Starting point is 01:17:55 like factor why that shit spread niggas saying that shit in LA. Niggas saying facts in the south. You know what I'm saying? And the internet
Starting point is 01:18:01 makes it smaller. So now you can say yo, I'm so Brooklyn your great grandmother might have been from Brooklyn. You know what I'm saying? the internet makes it smaller so now you can say yo I'm so Brooklyn your great grandmother might have been from Brooklyn you know what I'm saying and yeah I'm so Brooklyn but nigga
Starting point is 01:18:09 why you dressing like somebody ain't hear grandmothers from Brooklyn somebody ain't hear grandmothers from Brooklyn my grandmother's from the Bronx actually my grandmother's from the Bronx
Starting point is 01:18:17 yeah word up so yeah like I said I'm going to fuck around with the challenge like when I you know when I jump in the studio. Shout out to everybody that's doing it.
Starting point is 01:18:28 Shout out to Fab. Shout out to Cash. Putting it together. Because at the end of the day, no matter how I feel, I'm still from Brooklyn. Right. I respect that. I think the world respects that. I'm still rooting for Brooklyn and everybody doing this shit.
Starting point is 01:18:42 You know what I'm saying? Period. And I'm going to tell you something that I that I probably never do on Drink Champs. And that ain't the norm. That ain't the norm. You just don't do that. That ain't the norm. This is something that I probably never do on Drink Champs.
Starting point is 01:18:52 When me and you saw each other last time in LA, it was BT Award weekend. The reason why I said that in particular, and I did try to be a little bit like, you know, see what's up, is because I remember we both sat down and someone invited us to a Maino party. When was this? We was on the rooftop. I don't want to say where we was at, but someone walked over and was like, yo, you don't want to come to an Empire party? I think Maino is hosted.
Starting point is 01:19:18 It was out here? No, this was in L.A. This was when we was in L.A. Oh, okay, okay. You understand what I'm trying to say? Right, right, right. And I, off top top said I had to catch a flight.
Starting point is 01:19:27 And I remember it was like I can't say if you was hesitant or you was just like you know what I'm just chilling. So I couldn't tell. You know what I'm saying? So that's the reason I'm asking you. It's because I don't know if there was you know what I'm saying? That's the reason you asked about the So Brooklyn Challenge?
Starting point is 01:19:43 Yeah. But he didn't start this shit, right? No, but he participated immediately. I think everybody participated. There's many artists out of Brooklyn, you know what I'm saying, that participated. See, here go the TV, playing the game. No, I'm actually curious. There's controversy in the air. No, I'm actually curious to tell you the truth because I don't know.
Starting point is 01:20:01 The thing is this, right? There's something that happens a lot in hip-hop, is when discrepancies happen, people think that everyone knows. When really, we're all in our own little world. Yeah, that did be happening. You know, we're in our own little world. That's how you see people do features with people who somebody wasn't fucking with, but that was their man.
Starting point is 01:20:26 Yeah, and you'd be like, but the thing is, a lot of times, a person could accuse you of saying, yo, he went with him. But the thing is, so many times, we caught up in our own fucking world that we're not paying attention. You know what I'm saying? What Endo was talking about was because I was mad as fuck at him. He was fucking with some people I didn't fuck with at the time. You know what I'm saying? What N.O. was talking about was because I was mad as fuck as him. Mad as fuck at him. When he was fucking with some people I ain't fuck with at the time. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:20:49 And I was pissed over. I took that personal. Because niggas know I don't be respecting these fucking rap niggas. Period. It don't be no OG. But I went to his hood.
Starting point is 01:20:58 I fucking, we drank poppy in the hood and shit. You know what I'm saying? I got straps on me. I could go to jail. You feel me? You was good, but don't worry about it. I might edit that part out me? You was good, but don't worry about it.
Starting point is 01:21:05 I might have to edit that part out. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. But anyway, you know, then to see that after, I'm like, damn,
Starting point is 01:21:11 I don't really call niggas big bro like that, but you know, I fuck with you like that, so that shit hurt me. And you know, that shit was like a wake up call. Like,
Starting point is 01:21:18 damn, how you gonna do that? You know what's up? But then like you're saying, I didn't think about niggas be caught up in their own world. Niggas don't think it's like that or whatever.
Starting point is 01:21:25 You know what I'm saying? And now I'm learning. To be honest, I'm never in someone else's world. I'm temporarily, like right now, you're temporarily in my world. When you leave, I'm not going to lie, you're not going to give a fuck about what the fuck I do. You know what I'm saying? No, that's not true. I'm going to tell you that shit.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Sometimes I be wanting to hit you at six in the morning for no reason. He's up. He's up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm up. I'm going to tell you that shit. Sometimes I be wanting to hit you at 6 in the morning for no reason. He's up. He's up. I'm up. I'm up. He don't text me, man. Listen, even Puff stopped fucking with me because he said, yo, I hit you on hours. He said, you be up.
Starting point is 01:21:56 I'm like, yeah, motherfucker. I want it. But listen, I want you to finish what you're saying. I was just saying, fuck, man. Okay. I was saying like- You be wanting to hit me at six o'clock. When I be fucking with people, I really fuck with them.
Starting point is 01:22:07 Right. Really. Okay. And that shit is a handicap. Right. Even growing up, every time somebody have a problem with somebody, and they get in a fight or whatever, and then I take on a problem for them, and then they fall back. But now I'm the fucking-
Starting point is 01:22:19 But I done got suspended from school and all that shit. Right. Superintendent suspension for taking on somebody else's problem. Right. Because I thought it was like that. And I was riding with them. So, here's a perfect example. You went and smoked a cigarette?
Starting point is 01:22:30 No. No cigarettes ever. No, he went to smoke a cigarette. Don't lie. Don't lie to me. I can smell it from here, bro. You got to zoom in on niggas' faces and see what he's doing. He went and zoomed in on niggas.
Starting point is 01:22:38 He went and zoomed in on niggas. That's what I'm saying. But let me, let me, let me. Wait, I ain't finished. I ain't finished. I would love to hear your finish. So, like, I be all the way. You got to relax.
Starting point is 01:22:48 You got to relax. You got to have a buddy. So you got to relax. So like, here we fucking go. That's the got to relax. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Siren. That's the Mexican leftover horns.
Starting point is 01:22:57 Why you got to be racist? Yo, I ain't going to run. Don't say that on TV. I was a little bit racist today. Motherfucking. Yo, kick us out. Be racist. Why were you racist today? Because I was a little bit racist today. I was like, yo, kick us out. Be racist. Why were you racist today?
Starting point is 01:23:07 Because I was just, I was like, what's going on? What, those mariachis? It's a taco. Don't say too much. Don't say too much. Turn this mic off.
Starting point is 01:23:16 Don't say too much. Hey, I'm from LA. We gotta be the mariachis. Come on, man. You know I love it. I just was, I was just throwing off. It was so dope.
Starting point is 01:23:24 What's the name of that place? Two, two, two tacos. Yo, they got this whole place. It's so great. Oh my gosh. I can't wait to dig in their tacos. I just want to look cool when I'm digging into the taco because I don't want to pause. I don't want to eat the shit out of this taco.
Starting point is 01:23:38 You remember when we were talking about? Yeah, of course. I'm not for game. Fuck that. All right. One drink chance, baby. You ain't give me fucked up if you're game. I'm not for game. Fuck that. All right. So, drink chance, baby. You ain't get me fucked up if you game. I'm chilling.
Starting point is 01:23:47 You know? So, anyway. Wait, hold on. Look at this shit. You lie to these cops and you turn into the BSB song. Oh, shit. Come on, yeah. Get the BSB.
Starting point is 01:23:55 I know where the camera's shot at. Because that's also what we noticed when, back in the days, it used to be BSB, you know, bulletproof vests, security, couple of, you know, the homies. I still am. Right now, you pulled up pretty much. Oh, yeah. I pull up with a fucking, it's a bad joint, as they would say. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:24:17 Okay, okay. I pull up in a, it's 9-11, so I pull up. It's a bad joint. No, I mean, I ain't know how to say it. Is it no T at the end, or is it T at the end? It tea it's a it's no tea if you from Philly it's okay if you from New York You gotta get it. You gotta get it. I'll be with you. I'm late. I'm late. Yeah, yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:47 But that's what I'm saying. I did that and I didn't pull up. I pulled up in the phone. You pulled up in the pool. It's 9-11. Goddamn. Let's make some noise. Let's make some noise. 9-11.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Let's make some noise. Oh, 9-11. You pulled up in the 9-11. You don't make noise. We gotta do a moment of silence. A moment of silence. A moment of silence. Okay.
Starting point is 01:25:04 One, two, three. Rest in peace to everybody that passed away. And we got to take a drink to them because we don't drink. Okay, let's do it. Let's do it. Somebody please pour another shot. So something. Okay.
Starting point is 01:25:19 Wait, right. So, damn, you done fucked me up. The Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration in the United States. Recipients have done the improbable, showing immense bravery and sacrifice in the name of something much bigger than themselves. This medal is for the men who went down that day. I'll then be joined in conversation by guests such as Western historian Dr. Randall Williams and best-selling author and meat-eater founder Stephen Ranella. I'll correct my kids now and then where they'll say when cave people were here.
Starting point is 01:28:03 And I'll say, it seems like the Ice Age people that were here didn't have a real affinity for caves. So join me starting Tuesday, May 6th, where we'll delve into stories of the West and come to understand how it helps inform the ways in which we experience the region today. Across the country, cops call this taser the revolution.
Starting point is 01:28:48 But not everyone was convinced it was that simple. Cops believed everything that taser told them. From Lava for Good and the team that brought you Bone Valley comes a story about what happened when a multi-billion dollar company dedicated itself to one visionary mission. Starting point is 01:29:45 I can do half of it. Oh, I'm going to do half of it. He's doing half of it. We're half, we're half fucking great. Yeah, that's pretty cool, yeah. Yeah, I'm going to do half of it. Yeah, I'm going to do half of it. I'm going to have a shot. Oh my God, this is more.
Starting point is 01:29:53 Oh my God. I'm glad she just ignored me. You know what? I'm glad she ignored me. I'm glad. I'm glad we're here. This is Troy at first time on Motherfucking to Drink Chats. This is long overdue.
Starting point is 01:30:05 He's supposed to be here three years ago. Hello! Three years ago. Oh, he just played! I'm doing a mix. Yeah, I'm not going to lie. I put a little bit in there, too. Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:30:15 Let's take a shot. Then I'm going to get back to my point. Yes, please. All right. My shot is way deeper than yours. Pause. Pause. Salud.
Starting point is 01:30:23 Salud. That was not even that right. Yo, pause the shit out of that. Pause. Salute. That was not right. Yo, pause the shit out of the heck. Word. Edit that. Fuck the pause. Oh, I didn't take much of it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:34 Yes. Rumba. The devil's a liar in this motherfucker. Yes, yes, yes. All right, so I said I had to say, will loyalty in the game Be a handicap Because look
Starting point is 01:30:46 Here go yet another situation Okay I wanted to do something With J Mills Shout out to J Mills Just back in the day Fuck with J Mills He wanted to do a record
Starting point is 01:30:55 And I'm like Alright Cool But then I knew him He had just Pushed a tee For some shit
Starting point is 01:31:03 For Lil Wayne Was J Mills on Cashflow? Young Money Yeah yeah yeah Young Money So he had just Pusha T, put some shit in Lil Wayne. Was Jim on Cashmere? Young Money. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Young Money. So he had that shit. So the first thing I did, same thing as the situation with Fab and Ray J, because these niggas took me on my first tour.
Starting point is 01:31:16 Pusha T and Fab. What I did, I hit Pusha T. Hey, yo, my nigga, this nigga J Miller want to do something with me, but I don't know, it's a real problem with y'all or something because I want to do it. You know what I'm saying? A lot of niggas ain't going to come here and say that because now they'll have an issue with fucking J Mills or something.
Starting point is 01:31:33 You know what I'm saying? Or they'll have a, how they go. Niggas going to be saying real shit that happened. But like I said, I'm going to still be rich regardless if nobody fuck with me. Period. So anyway, I did that and Pusha T was like, nah, go ahead, my nigga, do your thing. That shit ain't about nothing.
Starting point is 01:31:49 That was another thing that let me know. Them two situations let me know, wait, this shit ain't, hold up, this shit ain't what it seems like it is. Well, it's about something, but what it means, it ain't, I can't say it's not real, it's just, it's not real enough to go to prison for. It's not real enough to hold for.
Starting point is 01:32:04 You're saying it's about something, but it ain't. Because the thing is, as a man, as a man, let me just tell you something. As a man, this fucking thing right here, this little trophy that can't even move, and if that trophy turns around and says, you know, you're an asshole,
Starting point is 01:32:22 you're going to want to crush it. But in all actuality, you know you're going to asshole. You're going to want to crush it. But in all actuality, you know you're going to win. Your man ego says, yes, let me do that. But why? That's not man ego. It's more than man ego.
Starting point is 01:32:35 It's deeper than that. Okay. Let's go deeper than that. God bless the day. I call it foolish nigga pride. That's the fuck it is. Because a lot of times in the hood, we don't got shit. That shit instilled in us from slavery.
Starting point is 01:32:49 That's a fact. I'm guilty of it. I tell my kids, if somebody hit you, you punch them back and all kind of shit, whatever, whatever. A lot of times niggas will hit you, then hide their hands, then get punched back. Oh, shit, he hit me. Then you go to jail. But fuck all that.
Starting point is 01:33:01 Rob Markman, That's a fact. That's a fact though, like I said. That's a fact though. Rob Markman, Okay. It be a lot of foolish pie, and that come from slavery. That come from motherfuckers having nothing. So you could be a poor, you could be a slave. You could have zero fucking dollars. You be eating chitlins and fucking chicken backs.
Starting point is 01:33:17 Right. But you could be a motherfucking billionaire with pride. A millionaire with pride. What, motherfuckers? What? I don't pick cotton past five o'clock. Fuck I look pride. What, motherfucker? What? Nigga, I don't pick cotton past five o'clock. Fuck, I look like. What?
Starting point is 01:33:28 What? All kind of shit. Because that's all you have. And that shit grows. That shit grows on us from, it's funny, we in Miami. I'll tell you the story. I was in a club in New York when I'm coming up, hustling, doing my thing. And I seen somebody step on a nigga's sneaker.
Starting point is 01:33:43 And nigga's like, fuck, nigga, you stepped on my sneaker. And it was a big issue. Like, nigga's sneaker and nigga's like, fuck nigga you stepped on my sneaker. And it was a big issue. Like nigga's got his shit, nigga fuck nigga. And now at that time it felt like I was with everything he was with. It felt like nigga you stepped on my shoes and what the fuck. Now it's like nigga that's nothing. Once I started going into different type of clubs, whether it be white people shit or
Starting point is 01:34:02 whatever. Now people with more money, I ain't gonna say white people. It ain't really... It's racism still, but more importantly, it's classism. Right. More importantly.
Starting point is 01:34:10 So once I started going up and shit, motherfuckers are spilling some Johnny Walker Blue on you. It's no problem. Whatever, whatever. So niggas had foolish niggas. Shit, I was vegan for eight weeks.
Starting point is 01:34:20 A nigga stepped on my foot. I said, are you okay? What do you mean? I was vegan. Vegan is a dunce. Yeah, I don't know. I was my foot, I said, are you okay? What are you saying? Bigger than it does to you. Yeah, I don't know what that is. I was just saying, you know, keep it going.
Starting point is 01:34:29 Class is okay. Keep it going. So, right. So, I said that to say, having that foolish nigga pride, that shit handicaps you because now when you grow up, all you got is some sneakers. You ain't got shit. A nigga ain't, but you have the pride in the wrong place. You could be a slave and you could be like, man, fuck niggas better. I ain't got shit. A nigga ain't, but you have the pride in the wrong place. You could be a slave and you could be like,
Starting point is 01:34:45 man, fuck niggas, I ain't picking no cotton nigga. I'm getting the biggest bowl on this motherfucking serving tray or whatever. But when the master come in the house and fuck your wife, what you do? Nothing. Nothing. You do nothing. So just like you've got the whole hood on
Starting point is 01:35:01 lock and all type of shit, but when the fucking... Fuck the police, not of shit, but when the fucking- The police come? No, fuck the police. Not even the police. When the fucking landlord come knocking on that door, hey, give me my rent, Sean. Tell your mother to give me my fucking rent or I'm going to throw you out on your ass. You pay that rent.
Starting point is 01:35:16 You don't thug him out. Nigga, I'm taking this building. Fuck you mean? You pay that rent? And foolish nigga pride only works in certain places, man. That shit is just... So if we can get out of the Foolish Pride shit that don't matter, it's all about perspective. And niggas don't put out that perspective. I'm guilty of it sometimes in my music.
Starting point is 01:35:34 I don't be telling niggas a lot of shit. It's different shit I go through. You think you pay attention to more of the hate about you or more of the love? No, not no more. Not no more. You think that was a mistake in the lie? No, not no more. Not no more. You think that was a mistake in the past? I'm telling you. I changed on my own.
Starting point is 01:35:49 I changed for nobody or nothing. Like I said. I'll be honest with you. I can tell you changed. And I can tell because I remember I used to call you and you used to tell me. It's like, yo, but you heard what these niggas said about me. I'm like, yo, Troy, what are you talking about? It's a fact.
Starting point is 01:36:04 This guy is from Oklahoma? No more. He don't even got a fucking name. Such a show, what? What's up with the promo? Sounded like Donald Trump
Starting point is 01:36:11 in the middle of the night. He's like, you're a fucking nigga with an A. He got no profile picture. So this guy said, and I'm talking to him. You got two followers.
Starting point is 01:36:21 Yo, and I'm like, yo, Troy, I'm like, yo, that's the crazy shit is. I'm like, yo, look at your fucking comments. You have all positivity. But you paid
Starting point is 01:36:30 attention to the five niggas. And no, not no more. Not no more. That's why I knew you. I'll be honest. I knew the young Troy, and I'm looking, and I used to always tell him, like, yo, stop paying attention to the niggas that don't fuck with you.
Starting point is 01:36:46 Pay attention to the niggas that do. What I learned was that you could, what I learned was that. What I realized, you didn't realize the internet, you thought the internet was personal. I mean. Everybody gets it. I mean, it can be personal. No, no, no, but listen to me. The internet can touch you now.
Starting point is 01:37:01 Let me tell you something, let me tell you something. I thought everything being personal. Let me tell you something about the internet. You can say something else is an the internet There can be a baby here Right Absolutely gorgeous There's nothing wrong With this baby
Starting point is 01:37:12 Right You post the baby A nigga say This nigga drooling There's somebody That will complain About this About this baby
Starting point is 01:37:22 So There'll be food On his shirt That explains The internet What I'm saying What I'm saying As a whole about this about this thing so but that's no it's not that explains the internet what I'm saying what I'm saying is you so if you
Starting point is 01:37:30 think if you look at the internet to get something perfect back right but what you gotta worry about
Starting point is 01:37:36 is that one minute 0.1% of the internet that's not fucking they are crazy are you talking
Starting point is 01:37:43 about the real critiquers I'm talking about the real critiquers? I'm talking about the motherfuckers that are shooting up people and killing everybody all day. Oh shit, we went somewhere else. No, that's where it is. We live in that reality now. EFN, that's how John Lennon got killed. If it was the internet around that time, the dude who killed John Lennon would have been him.
Starting point is 01:37:58 If it was the internet or... Wait, what? I don't understand. Listen, that's real shit. The Beatles, the Beatles. That's a fact. The nigga, he died in Central what? Wait, I don't understand. Listen, that's real shit. The Beatles. He's talking about the Beatles. That's a fact. He died in Central Park?
Starting point is 01:38:07 No, he got killed. He got killed. Look, if it was the internet around that time, Selena would have met her assistant through a DM. Yeah. Real shit. Now it's the internet touching... And then they feel they're personable with you. I know that story, Selena.
Starting point is 01:38:19 So they even feel more of a reason like, yeah, you slided me. Right. You slided me. Yo, somebody could diss you. You could diss how fucked up this shit is and it's all no shit fake. Somebody could diss
Starting point is 01:38:30 the shit out of you. Hey, fuck, choiab, nigga, you're fucking Domazino or that. Nigga, they a little bit icy. Right. And then you could be like,
Starting point is 01:38:38 yo, eat a dick. They'll retweet you telling them eat a dick. Mm. And they'll retweet you to all their followers, you dissing them. And they say,
Starting point is 01:38:48 this nigga Troy having his feelings. Fuck him. He's corny. Nigga, why you gonna retweet a nigga dissing you? That's what you're doing for the clout. Niggas do that for the clout. I do it for the bag. I don't do it for the clout. Nigga, if you look at me, my life is fortune over fame. Period. A lot of people ain't like that. That's why they go
Starting point is 01:39:04 sign bullshit deals. That's why they go sign bullshit deals. That's why they go do stunts. Like Jeezy said a long time ago, that shit ain't going to get you on. It's going to get you hurt. Real niggas know Chopper Dahl. No, that's real shit. We just had Big Up and Jeezy. We just had them on here sat in your same chair that you was at right here. Because I'm in that chair.
Starting point is 01:39:19 I want my chair. Look, I'm not here to thank you. No, because he was in real life. The Dahl's episode was filmed. I think they just saying that to appease me. I think that's bullshit. I'm going to have to look at the camera angles.
Starting point is 01:39:31 So, we would... That is Jeezy's check. So, what was not, you see? No, Nas was in here.
Starting point is 01:39:36 Nas was in New York. Oh, Nas was in New York. That was a whole different room. That was a whole different room here. Nas was in New York, yeah. I was trying to tell you.
Starting point is 01:39:43 Y'all got a good tandem going. Yeah, he was there. Look, he was there. Nas was there. different room here. Niles was in New York. I was trying to tell you. Y'all got a good tandem going. Yeah. No, he was there. Look, no, he was there. Niles was there. I was here. Oh. That's a flip.
Starting point is 01:39:51 That was a flip. We always get against the best seat. Okay. All right. Cool. So we would be- If Niles get in the bag, I got to be in the Niles chair. We would be a fake show, especially a podcast show.
Starting point is 01:40:03 Not to actually- Instead of a podcast show? Well, we started as a podcast. We originally started as a podcast show, not to actually, you know, we know, instead of a podcast show, well, we started as a podcast, so we're going to respect that, that's a yeah,
Starting point is 01:40:11 you know, because to tell the people, to tell the people, to be 100%, if you're comfortable with this, I am, because you said you always tell the truth, and you have never lied, right,
Starting point is 01:40:23 so, what happened was, me and Troy was great. We was cool. You know, called me, do a record. I got him. I don't need nothing. Super great. More than that.
Starting point is 01:40:34 Yeah, more than that. I fucked with him. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to shit in the hood. You know what I mean? I'm fucking with Young Billy. Like, all kinds of shit. Like, I'm fucking with them niggas right now.
Starting point is 01:40:45 You know what I'm saying? So, what what happened I'm going to be honest with the fans and you tell me you stop me at any point so or anything you don't want to use so what happens is I don't really know what he got going on with another podcaster
Starting point is 01:41:00 I won't say his name so I don't know exactly what's going on. Even though you spoke to me, and I told you. Yeah, but I don't, and I'll get to why, right? I know why. Okay, so, but, so, man, you know, like, again, we great or whatever, whatever, whatever. And then, you know, we start doing the podcast thing,
Starting point is 01:41:26 and he starts seeing me with text. So I'm thinking, he saw, I'm guessing automatically, oh, okay, he might be taking it personally. I start speaking to him less as I'm seeing him. And what I try to explain to him, this is recently because we didn't really get to speak back then, is I've always kind of been a guy that I don't really got nothing to do with people's problems. Like if Sonny-
Starting point is 01:41:50 And never should. And I just, it's just who I am. Some people say you can't play both sides or it makes you fake or whatever like that. I'll draw a line. But sometimes I've been in situations where I've drawn the line in the sand and I've became the enemy. That happened to me countless times. Like I became the enemy. So sometimes when a person have problems, I'm going to be honest with you.
Starting point is 01:42:14 Sometimes I don't pay attention to it. One, because I'm busy with my own life. And two, it's because it's really y'all shit and I've had bad experiences. So I can imagine, and I told you this, how you looked at it. Because we know we were great. We're cool. And then you see. And I don't fuck with niggas at all.
Starting point is 01:42:34 Like, I don't be. You see, I never go big bro this, big bro that. Never. I don't fuck with these niggas. Because I seen when I was trying to come up and get with niggas, niggas wasn't fucking with me. Then when I was doing my thing, they came to me. Right. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:42:46 That's just to show our relationship, how much I fuck with. And so I'm going to, because I'm going to be honest, and at any point you can stop me or say, yo, you know what? We can take this out to interview, please. Make sure no one else is filming. So at some point, I don't want to say, I did not think it would ever go there. Like anywhere near to, you know, person being in jail right now, you fighting the case, him also fighting the case. To tell you the truth, as a guy.
Starting point is 01:43:20 You skipped mad point. You forgot me being in jail. You know what I'm saying? Of course. Of course. Of course. Me missing out on a million dollars, me losing custody of my kids. Of course. Of course.
Starting point is 01:43:28 Forget all that shit out. And what I'm saying is- I got lawsuits on me for fucking $10 million. People saying I shot them in the club. Right now. Right. That's great. It's real shit.
Starting point is 01:43:38 That's great. Right now, people saying I shot them. What I'm saying is, and the reason why I ask for forgiveness is because this is actually the first example of you hearing, like, two street niggas, like, taking the internet to the next, next, next level. Like, you know what I'm saying? This is the first example, in my opinion. Taking it to the next level Or the internet dictating How you felt about something That's
Starting point is 01:44:07 That can be Transferred in both ways Because To me Once it went to the internet I just didn't believe it Like You understand
Starting point is 01:44:16 What I'm trying to say Not Because I didn't know That thing went straight to the internet I don't That shit went straight to the internet That's why
Starting point is 01:44:24 It went straight to the internet That's where it initiated From the to the internet. That's what I'm trying to say. It went straight to the internet. That's where it initiated from. That's why. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Okay. I never thought it would. This is shit I don't want to be fucking with. Okay.
Starting point is 01:44:32 Is that, man, when the real nigga is just a fucking word nowadays, man, a phrase. Because real niggas don't ever co-sign with fake niggas do. But now we got time and past Times have changed or whatever Being a hater is unacceptable Period I've never hated on a nigga in my life Period
Starting point is 01:44:54 Nigga I never hate Niggas I see somebody with some shit I motivate Oh let me go get up and do that So now If somebody's a hater
Starting point is 01:45:03 It don't matter if they hating on you They a hater period That's wrong hate on you they hate a period that's wrong but do you understand the term troll sometimes that's a new term troll is a term for hater that is a it is a term for hater it's actually become a market we can't just and troll has become a market we can't just it up and make it look pretty it's still what it is if you cook crack with some green dye then you call it the green monster it's you still a crackhead smoking it straight up period let's make some noise for crackheads Big up to John Singleton, man. We had him in your same chair as well. You did that okay.
Starting point is 01:45:47 This the chair? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It wasn't this chair. It was that chair. Okay, yeah. This is San Fernando. I'm going to smoke some San Fernando. This is a crack right here.
Starting point is 01:45:57 Yo, boy, first off, big up to Smoke. Big up to Smoke Chaps. This is big up to... Bro, this is also big up to motherfucking Troy Ab bringing his own cups with Steve Chaps logo. I can't frame. As I was going to the bathroom, I seen him pause, pulling it out.
Starting point is 01:46:13 And I said, hold up. Did he just kill it like that? That was some real CEO ball shit. You know what I'm saying? CEO ball shit. But more importantly, I ain't going to hold you. After I did it, after I did it, you know, somebody said, yo, that's great marketing. I didn't even think of it like that.
Starting point is 01:46:28 Because like I said, nigga, my whole history, all my actions point to me being loyal. I'm not just talking about it and you don't see it in these places. I figured, yo, you know what? Ain't no birthday. Ain't no goddess shit. Like whenever I see my niggas that I fuck with doing some shit, I always think, how can I improve it? Now, it might seem as me being judgmental or critical, but I'm not... You a hater if
Starting point is 01:46:50 you be like, yo, EFN, that shirt is wack, take it off. But you're not a hater if you be like, yo, that shirt wack, take it off, my nigga. Or matter of fact, wear it with some black jeans and some white sneakers or whatever. You know what I'm saying? Right, right. A hater always going to say, nah, don't do it. Fuck that hat. But nigga, man, nah, nah, that hat is good.
Starting point is 01:47:07 Instead of that black tee, put on this hoodie with it that match. Trying to figure out how to compliment it. So I'm like, this genuinely came out of love. And no, you got the text.
Starting point is 01:47:14 You look back in our history and they'll say, what's up, we doing drink chat? I said, my nigga, I'm working on it. I got to get the cups right first. What? Because I got to come correct.
Starting point is 01:47:21 I always come being Frankincense and Murr. Like, this nigga doing, I remember drink being Frankincense and Murr. Like, this nigga doing, I remember Drink Champs wasn't Drink Champs. It was me, him, and I'm pretty sure other niggas he fucked
Starting point is 01:47:29 with talking shit and drinking. This nigga make you drink a lot. What is this? That's so funny. That's so funny. That's so funny.
Starting point is 01:47:37 He do. He do that. He make you drink a lot. That's a fact. So, just to see this shit become what it be coming and I ain't going to hold you.
Starting point is 01:47:45 I can't show fake love. Right. At a point, I was insulted. Man, I don't fucking stay in it. Piss me off. No, I knew. I wasn't watching many episodes. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:47:54 But I was still. You know what I knew? You know what I knew? I'm going to be honest. What I knew was, it was, we stopped speaking. You know what I'm saying? And when we stopped speaking, I knew exactly what it was because I, but I just, again, I just didn't believe that anything that existed on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:48:13 And no, it's not your fault. It's not your fault. Look, I clearly forgive you because I'm here. Because it's bigger than that. It's not your fault. You know what the fault is? It's because a lot of niggas play the game. A lot of fake niggas that you see
Starting point is 01:48:27 it make you think everything is fake and when you see real niggas coming in really playing by real niggas rules if real nigga rules if nigga say something
Starting point is 01:48:35 you violate you you don't go back and forth on the internet nigga alright one day one day we'll see each other period and it just so happened
Starting point is 01:48:43 that one day you know that person was all extra over there. Because in the working space, I'm not stupid. In the working space, I'm just, man, whatever. I don't care. I'm in a working capacity. I ain't going to fuck with the money. Nobody worth fucking the money off over.
Starting point is 01:48:57 You know what I'm saying? Nobody worth. But I was ignorant. I did it. I missed out on fucking thousands of dollars sitting in jail for two months. You know what I'm saying But You
Starting point is 01:49:06 It's not your fault Because you done seen so many Niggas like I done heard niggas have Fucking die hard beef And they on a plane together Yep Where that

Period. You know. Rob Markman, Right, of course. I'm not... Rob Markman, And then so now, that's how a nigga was taught.
Starting point is 01:49:59 It's like growing up in the hood and niggas say, yo, nigga this is what it is and you do this after this happens. And then when that shit don't happen, you're like, yo, what the fuck? This is different. So you've seen shit transition and you're thinking, oh, it ain't no niggas real left like me or how I grew up. This is different. You know what I'm saying? So I say it ain't your fault.
Starting point is 01:50:16 I'm not even thinking that. I'm just thinking that that's where it's going to stay. I'm thinking, period. We just said the same thing. I seen Fab and Ray J and I seen immediately that shit got fixed. People just came I'm thinking period we just said the same thing you ain't thinking it's gonna go and I seen immediately that shit got fixed people just came so I'm thinking if y'all shit not fixed
Starting point is 01:50:33 it's because people will not think it's gonna go there when you see my first videos man you can look at countless of these motherfuckers like coming out into the game look at niggas first videos if you talking about kilos and bricks
Starting point is 01:50:47 and being street shit robbing niggas you gotta have that in your first video you gotta have that you gotta have something me in my first video got a Benz
Starting point is 01:50:54 that was mine had a bad girl she was mine had a Rolly that was mine you know what I'm saying so that means that wait
Starting point is 01:51:01 if you wanna know what any fucking artist is about rapper rapper, period, and he talking some shit, look at their first video. Don't tell me you was getting money off your first video if you didn't have that. That's not real to me, period. So now that sets the character. Everything I do, it goes from that.
Starting point is 01:51:18 Because I'm really coming from where I'm thinking is, again, is foolish nigga pride. I'm listening to people who In the grand scale of things They ain't unsuccessful But I'm following What they trailblazed through It went to nowhere It went to jail
Starting point is 01:51:32 It went to prison It went to living with your mama house But you got all the new Jordans You know what I'm saying Real shit It went to driving an E-Class The fuck is that I know E-Class Benz nigga
Starting point is 01:51:44 SLS You know what I'm saying CLS None of that other shit But E-Class, the fuck is that? I know E-Class Benz, nigga. Right. S-L-S. You know what I'm saying? Right, exactly. C-L-S. None of that other shit. But anyway, it go to that, and you following what these people say. You'll never gain success following what the unsuccessful say. Period.
Starting point is 01:51:58 It's real shit. And a lot of niggas do that. If your OG ain't shit and he ain't nothing, you need to get out that motherfucking gang that you in. Right. Period. Because that's your ceiling ain't shit mean nothing you need to get out that motherfucking game that you in right period cuz that's your ceiling dog right so but never but never not acknowledge the poor man's wisdom hmm I take man wisdom from the poor man never know that I don't take shit did they telling me I take all the shit did they tell me they feel that. And I don't do it. Straight up.
Starting point is 01:52:27 You know how much poor men tell me, yo, man, you should rap like this. If you rap like this, you will get this. If you do this with your colon brain, here, I got ideas for your brain. You should do it. Nigga, shut the fuck up. You ain't never do shit.
Starting point is 01:52:39 You know what taught me a lesson one day, Troy? One day, I'm in motherfucking Westwood, Los Angeles. And for some reason, I wanted to fucking do an Airbnb, right? So I woke up in this Airbnb, and it's just the worst Airbnb ever because... First of all, this shit is fake, not to cut you off. This shit is fake. This shit is empty. Ain't no time.
Starting point is 01:53:02 You got to refill it. It's fake. It's empty. It's empty. Come on. What's up? Every time I's fake. It's empty. It's empty. Come on. What's up? Every time I watch this motherfucking shit, I see real bottles. No, because we didn't think I was going to drink it. All right.
Starting point is 01:53:10 So for now, we took your drink order. What's your drink order, Watermelon and Ciroc, nigga? Are we going to take a shot of this Ciroc? Of course. Let's go. Okay. Now he's talking my language, nigga. Since I'm a trailblazer and I came through the window, EFN, Norway said, no, it was empty,
Starting point is 01:53:26 nigga. Oh, what the the fuck you talking about? What? Everybody watching on TV think these bottles are full, including me. So now we're going to fill them up. The trash came through the door. It depends on what you drink. You ordered brown, nigga. This is drink change. Look how many brown. We got XO Brown. We got XO D'Ussé.
Starting point is 01:53:42 XO D'Ussé. Ho might have sent that for you direct. I'm just throwing it Duse. Look at that. I'm going to take some Duse. XO Duse. I'm going to sip some Duse. Hope might have sent that for you direct. I'm just throwing it out there. It's a Brooklyn shit. Then we got Ciroc Vs because you ordered brown. Then we got 4 Duse right here for you.
Starting point is 01:53:55 You ordered brown, nigga. You ordered brown. You still trying to distract me. You still trying to distract me from the truth. Never let the loud talks and antics distract you from the truth. It's like motherfucking ten people swimming in a pool. It could be me, N.O. Well, not N.O. because he's married.
Starting point is 01:54:11 You know what I'm saying? Me, E.F.N. and eight beautiful women. We're swimming in a motherfucking pool. We're chilling. We're having a good time. You know what I'm saying? Enjoying ourselves. And there's one fucking hater that's drowning and he's splashing around.
Starting point is 01:54:24 Everybody looking at the hater. Hey, you know him. Forget all these beautiful women, me and your fan doing backstrokes. Pause. But they don't forget that. So like I said, I watched motherfucking Drink Champs. Yeah. And I didn't know all these secret shit about you ordered brown.
Starting point is 01:54:39 I thought niggas was drinking whatever's here. Because when we used to go out, it the nigga Bears Hennessy whatever you drinking or do you say now because I know you got sponsored the nigga to go on commercial let me just tell you something let me just tell you something I always have been
Starting point is 01:54:53 a Puerto Rican drinker which means I drink what the fuck I drink because because I want to last all night like balls so like
Starting point is 01:55:04 I'll show you I got pride. Like, you send me something. Like, you give me some. You give me Jägermeister the wrong night. I'm saying no to Jägermeister. But you give me a beer, a champagne, and wine. I'm gold. I'm like a gold that whole time.
Starting point is 01:55:20 But if you throw it off, you throw it off, then the sector becomes the rector. And you don't want that what do that mean that's some slick shit the sector becomes the rector so what do that mean we got to explain that i gotta understand what's going on in america i don't i have no idea okay it sounds like some fly shit yeah we just that's like niggas saying no cap they don't know what it mean we just out here drinking bsb cups you know what I'm saying? With the drink champs cups, don't forget that. With the drink champs cups, you know what I mean? And we're going to give other guests those cups, too.
Starting point is 01:55:47 Yeah, that's right. We're going to give other guests those cups, too. And you're going to watch and see. And we're going to see who fuck with you and who don't, the other guests. Come on here, man. Listen, this shit like holy water, man. You know, they're going to burn up any church if they see this shit. Whoa, shit.
Starting point is 01:56:01 That's the real shit. I can't touch it. After the case, did you feel like, besides me, because we already established that, and you could pour a shot too, Mr. Lee, pour it for you. Of course, because we said we was going to do it, and real men are going to keep their word. We will, we will.
Starting point is 01:56:14 That's a fact. Yup, we will. I want like a new shot glass. We got a new shot glass, I don't want to do the tiger bone. Hey yo, I don't even want a shot, but I'm going to do it. No, I'm going to do it. No, you said it. That's a fact, because I'm a man, and I got pride, so I'm going to do it because I'm going to do it. I want to stick with this because... fact because I'm a man and I got pride so I'm going to do it
Starting point is 01:56:25 because I'm going to do it because because this is why I want to stick with this because there's a lot of rumors about like
Starting point is 01:56:34 you know blackballing or you know certain things that's supposed to like be be happening right
Starting point is 01:56:41 do you think after this incident happening again we never really got into the incident we got into who is what to be happening, right? Do you think after this incident happened, and again, we never really got into the incident. We got into who was what, but we didn't get into the incident because we understand everyone is still fighting the case and there's respect on both sides.
Starting point is 01:56:56 So, but... We need to be knowing what the case is that people is fighting. You know what I'm saying? We got to let the audience know what's going on. Okay, please. Please. When Troy has got locked up.
Starting point is 01:57:10 When I got locked up, I was fighting a case for murder on my best friend, Banger. God bless the day. God bless Banger. I think we should give him more of a sign. That's a fact. I knew Banger personally. One of the greatest dudes I ever knew. Rest in peace, Banger. Right, right right right rest of people now we make noise right
Starting point is 01:57:29 it's really no banger we got to take a shot for Bingham's yes just did that that's the rock is my baby I don't want you to pull the guy's just moving shot that's the fire he was a smooth nigga straight up I know poor look out what poor look out you said I don't know poor look out there yeah we never thought out thing really don't waste good liquor you? You just said that. I don't know. Pour liquor out, nigga. Yeah, we never pour it out. Bang and bang. You don't waste good liquor. You don't waste no good liquor. I mean, I just wanted a new shot.
Starting point is 01:57:50 You got me a new shot, class? Oh, man. Those are big shots. You fucking made that? It's a lead. You're going to have Dominicans down with you, man. They motherfucking make it happen, man. Pour my own fucking shot. This is for Bang.
Starting point is 01:57:58 I might pour a little more, man. Please. Let me get a little here. Give me a little more. I'll take extra. You ain't got to take extra if you don't want. I will. See, now you put it like that. I got to take extra, baby. Let me get a little here. Give me a little more. I'll take extra. You ain't got to take extra if you don't want. I will. See, now you put it like that.
Starting point is 01:58:07 I got to take extra, baby. Why not? It's how we living. All right, cool. Punch a sabroso. I'll put my own. What? Yeah, a pork bag, honey.
Starting point is 01:58:16 All right, come on. So everybody, everybody, you know we a funny show, but right now we talking about Banga, so don't want everybody to get serious, man. Salud.
Starting point is 01:58:23 Salud. Salud. What a great nigga, man. What a dude.ud. Salud. What a great nigga, man. What a dude. Man, salute you, my brother. Banger, man. Rest in peace, banger. Man, that was good.
Starting point is 01:58:36 That is the rock watermelon tasting like summer and hoodie season. Let's make some noise for that. Summer and hoodie season? Yeah, you know, in New York after September is hussy season. We're marching, goddammit! My fans don't know that we're in New York. We're in Miami! My fans don't know that we're in New York.
Starting point is 01:58:56 Hey, can I get up? That's T-Roc. He's trying to fuck us up. No, we're good. T-Roc is great. No, T-Roc is good, but he's trying to have a lot of shots. We can do more, right? I can do more of that. You got to relax off that. So what were we just saying?
Starting point is 01:59:09 We were just talking about, damn, I had it before we took the last shot. Well, he was talking about home in the past. Oh, yeah, banger, banger, banger, banger. So I said, I said, he said, he said, he said the actual case was... Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're good.
Starting point is 01:59:28 We got to check his shots because he's going to be a point a lot. We got to check his shots. He's just so used to this shit. That's two times you didn't save us. I'm amazed. I promise you, he's not making shit.
Starting point is 01:59:40 One time I watched the episode, I wasn't fucking with you then. I watched the episode and I remember flying out here and doing a record. Yeah I wasn't fucking with you then. I watched the episode. I'm good. And I remember flying out here and doing a record. Yeah, I'm fucked with this nigga. But whatever. We were saying to say, before we talk about cases and shit, we got to know what I'm charged for.
Starting point is 01:59:56 Right. I'm not. I'm charged for, allegedly, this is all out in the FBI report. I'm charged for attempted murder on somebody that tried to kill me. That's what I'm charged for because in New York there's no defense laws. I'm charged for weapons possession on somebody I took the gun from. This all in the FBI file. If a nigga come in this room right now, they pull a gun out on you, shoot you, you wrestle them,
Starting point is 02:00:27 take the gun, and you start blowing back at them, and then you go to court, and they say, oh, I know, you're charged with attempted murder on them, and you're charged with their gun. How you gonna feel?
Starting point is 02:00:39 Put the zooming on the camera with that shit. You know what I'm saying? Real shit. Are you gonna sit down for two months, be a real nigga, and be like, nah, I'm gonna miss out on fucking, it was like a million a real nigga And be like Nah I'm going to miss out On fucking It was like A million or something
Starting point is 02:00:48 For the year But I'm going to miss out On lots of money I'm going to lose custody Of my kids I'm going to sit down In jail for two months Over that
Starting point is 02:00:53 That's the question You know what I'm saying Now And then I'm charged With weapons possession Of other weapons That I can't get into Because you know
Starting point is 02:01:04 It's an open case And not only is's an open case. And not only is it an open case, everything I spoke about is already in the FBI files. It's already in the FBI files. I was charged with the murder, but the murder got dropped. Right. Because they proved that that wasn't my strat. I didn't bring that.
Starting point is 02:01:18 I didn't bring that. I just wanted to set it so before a nigga say a case. Niggas don't know the devil is in the details. People don't tell details. They just say shit. Nobody don't care about bad news traveling faster than good news. When you come to look in the details, niggas don't look at that trying to see what's up. Right.
Starting point is 02:01:36 Straight up. A lot of people going through that, man. And then how about, because there was a line, I think it was a line in the rap you said, and then you went to the breakfast club to kind of declare it when you said, fuck you from the stand or something like that. Right, that's a fact. Rob Markman, Okay, so can you, let's just clarify that line. It's okay. I said I'm only loyal to my, but the whole shit is too legit to quit, the video. Crazy.
Starting point is 02:01:59 First of all- Rob Markman, Not to be confused with MC Hammer. Right. Shout out to MC Hammer. Rob Markman, No, for sure. Shout out to MC Hammer. Original getting money nigga. Rob Markman, Right. Shout out to MC Hammer. Rob Markman, No, for sure. Shout out to MC Hammer. Rob Markman, Original getting money nigga on crack. Rob Markman, Oakland in the building.
Starting point is 02:02:07 Rob Markman, Frack though. Rob Markman, Right. Rob Markman, So anyway, I made the record and then it's a whole bunch of lines called Too Legit to Quit. But then it say something about niggas being fake in the street and shit ain't real. And then I can't remember the lines leading up to it, but it said, I'm only loyal to my fam, middle finger from the stand. You saying it's me, then it's you.
Starting point is 02:02:28 You know what I mean? I will send her out to hell. I'll laugh if they send her out to jail. You know what I'm saying? So pretty much, them lines is like, as soon as the other peoples got locked up, they said it was Troy Ave's gun. It was Troy Ave's gun. The FBI and the district attorney said, oh no, that's not Troy Ave's gun. Your fingerprints is found here on this third cup.
Starting point is 02:02:49 To leave it for motherfuckers that's not looking. Third cup is the clip. So if I take a gun from N.O. right now and I start blowing at him, my fingerprints is going to be found here. If your fingerprints is found one, two, three cups deep, that means, wait, why are your fingerprints on the clip? Oh, okay. That's not Troy Avegant.
Starting point is 02:03:08 He didn't take that. He didn't come and bring that to you. And then you say, all right, y'all got me. All right, I'm guilty. I'll sign and cop out to that. So that's the shit that we got to understand. So as soon as I came home from jail, they said, oh, Troy Abbott's telling on this person. Soon as, nothing.
Starting point is 02:03:28 Mind you, I sat down, when I say I lost so much money, I lost so much money, and more importantly than money, I lost custody of my kids. Then, I lost, nigga, I'm still out on bail right now, half a million dollar bail, and not no regular bail. They made my bail a secured, safety bail. They got to comb through all my finances. I got to pay this much cash. I got to pay $75,000 that I'm not getting back. Period. Off the rip.
Starting point is 02:03:55 $125,000 in lawyer fees. Whatever. I'll prepare for that. Because I always prepare for the worst. Hope for the best. Not when these dumb niggas blow bread. I got the bag. Anyway. Out of all that shit. for that because I always prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Now when these dumb niggas blow the bread, I got the bag. Right.
Starting point is 02:04:05 Anyway, out of all that shit, I lose all this shit. And then people are saying, first of all, the video too legit to quit. It got like 19,000 likes and maybe fucking 1,100 dislikes. Come on. So now when people saying I'm telling this person, I'm telling that person, from wherever, I said in the line, I'm only loving to my fam, middle finger from the stand, you saying it's me when it's you. That mean that that person already went and said it was me.
Starting point is 02:04:44 Period. That person already went and said it was me. Period. That person already went and said it was me. This is court documented. That person already went and implicated me in crimes I had nothing to do with. I'd be in jail right now if I had something to do with it. I had nothing to do with it. They went and implicated. Period.
Starting point is 02:05:01 So you can't take internet shit and have street rules apply. When the gloves is off, the gloves is off. You going to fight with a hand behind your back, get your face punched the fuck in? This person's already saying this, that, and the third. And still, till this day, I'm holding it down. Rob Markman, But you know how the streets took it. The streets took it as if Troy Ivers' straight snitching on Jack Stone. Rob Markman, I'm going to keep it real.
Starting point is 02:05:25 The streets, streets is a myth. I made a song about it. Real shit. Streets is a myth. But you also made a real nigga song, too. That's a fact. I had to. All type of shit, because I've been making real nigga music.
Starting point is 02:05:39 Niggas appreciated it then when I made Streets is a Myth. And you got to realize that once you claim real nigga, like real nigga is like real nigga is is, you know, no fold. But everything I'm saying in every song is me.
Starting point is 02:05:59 It ain't no, ain't nothing altering. You're not seeing me rap this one way and then next day I got fucking blue hair or some shit. I'm talking about everything that's me. I used to talk about fucking driving a Benz. Then I talk about driving a bigger Maserati. Then I talk about having a boat.
Starting point is 02:06:17 Everything I'm saying is me. So when you're saying this is rap, you can't say, oh, you can't say, one time you say, I made a song named Real Nigga. Everything I'm talking about being a real nigga. Then I made a song named She's a Myth. Why are other artists allowed to do that and have different ways in life? Yeah, you're right. At different places. I agree with you.
Starting point is 02:06:34 But why I sure have not. And then when you say song named Real Nigga, at the same time you're saying we're entertainment. And you didn't think something would get to that level because you think when niggas make songs named Real Niggas, they not real niggas. No. Because it wouldn would get to that level because you think when niggas make songs named Real Niggas, they not real niggas. Rob Markman, No. Because it wouldn't get to that level. Rob Markman, I'm thinking of that percentage of people. I had one of my favorite people in life.
Starting point is 02:06:53 Rob Markman, That percentage of people, they don't buy your music. They download that shit for free. Yeah. Rob Markman, They don't count. Period. And no, I wasn't rich. Listen, nigga, I'm putting out some shit soon. You're going to see.
Starting point is 02:07:08 When I walk the street, even my security said, he said, man, we was in Vegas for the Broner fight. I'm big money. I'm betting on Broner. He lost. I don't care. Betting on him. Big money shit.
Starting point is 02:07:19 Come walk around. AB Andre Broner. About billions, my homie. The homie. He been on Drink Champs. Drink Champs alumni. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Big him up. So I The homie. He been on Drink Champs. Drink Champs a lot now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Big him up.
Starting point is 02:07:26 So, I go to shit. I'm betting on Brown. It's nothing but fanfare. Oh, my God. Is this the fight where he walked out and said, I'm about to buy bricks. Is that what it was? No, it's for Pac-Man. I don't know what that was.
Starting point is 02:07:36 Okay, okay. I didn't see that one. Okay. It's nothing but fanfare. Love. Oh, my God. Yo, Joanne. No.
Starting point is 02:07:41 So, we can't feed into the internet shit because it's not real in real life. Right. It's not real. When you see Trey, I could yo, yo. So we can't feed into the internet shit. Because it's not real in real life. It's not real. When you see trash, I could walk through anywhere. It's going to be niggas showing love. The real relate, the fake just hate. So my security said, man, where the fuck are all the haters? Maybe they can't afford a ticket to the fight. Or maybe they don't travel.
Starting point is 02:08:00 And I said, oh shit, you right. Because it's nothing but love and mobs. Yo, yo, yo, moms we fuck you real nigga fuck all that shit niggas is hating anybody that got two eyes and is not a hater can see niggas is hating and niggas can see I keep going and the hate don't affect me you know
Starting point is 02:08:14 you can look at my old interviews my jury's shining more now period let me just tell you something I understand but the thing is as this job that I have here, these people, I always would send out something and be like, yo, I got this person coming up. And always people, they ask me, yo, is this about to happen with Tax Stone?
Starting point is 02:08:38 So I have to ask. I have to. And I don't really know the ins and outs of any of cause you know one thing for sure two things for certain I hung out with you I hung out with Tax
Starting point is 02:08:50 and y'all have never really talked about each other ever to me and I feel like you should have never hung out with me that's what I feel like
Starting point is 02:08:56 but I understand why and how it happened but he's never talked he has never talked about you to me I never hung out with nobody from other places when it happened you know what I'm saying no but I'm gonna be honest you never talked to you to me. I never hung out with nobody from other places when it happened.
Starting point is 02:09:05 No, but I'm going to be honest. You never talked to me. I spoke to you one time. I swear I did. I think it was lightly. I said, man, this thing is hating on me. What the fuck? Like, period.
Starting point is 02:09:17 This is my hating, period. The hating unacceptable. If I got smacked in my mouth three years ago and the nigga talking about that, I don't care because that really happened. That's the news. That's channel 7, 11, 4, 5. You reporting what really happened. But if you just coming out as a straight hater, hate is unacceptable. I don't give a fuck if a nigga hating on you because you bought a brand new weapon hood.
Starting point is 02:09:37 If a nigga hating on you because you gay. If a nigga hating on you because you a different race. Hate is hate, period. Nigga, that's unacceptable. Right, and I came from an era at that time, just to be a million percent with you, was anybody who hated on us, we just beat the shit out of these motherfuckers.
Starting point is 02:09:52 Just so you know. So we're not even realizing. So there's a record of them having a problem with you, but then you go to jail. But I'm realizing that now. And now I know you can't just do that. Back then, I didn't make this record.
Starting point is 02:10:07 Look at Junior Mafia. Nigga, we had real shootouts with each other. I didn't. Wait, was the statue of the mutation over? It's over. It's been over. So that really happened. Name one fucking...
Starting point is 02:10:18 Name one of the little C's dick's record against the slime. I don't know. Name one time, Nori, this little C's.icks wrecked against the slime. I don't know. Then one time, Norrie dissed Lil' C. You know what's fucked up? And, look, here go another point of my loyalty. I never met Norrie, never knew him in my life, anything like that. And you went to Kimmel's or Brooklyn shit, too? No, no, no.
Starting point is 02:10:37 Oh, I'm sorry. No, no, no. Nigga. I'm talking about you. I'm talking about you. I don't care about a lot care about where you're from. I care about what's real, what you really feel.
Starting point is 02:10:47 So, like, I felt I would be a sucking nigga. Like, I literally put on all white because this man had that shit on the cover. N-O-R-E. Right. But he never told me that before.
Starting point is 02:10:57 I saved it for drink change, baby. That's right. You know, this is still television. We got to be pediatric. All right, all right. There you go. There you go. There you go.
Starting point is 02:11:03 Right. He ain't sell all the way out. He just sold the back of the store. The front of the store still grind me. The back of the store sold out, man. That shit gentrified. Motherfucker. So anyway, when I was coming up, I ain't never fucked with, and I fucked with Lil C's from
Starting point is 02:11:18 Biggie and all that shit, but I never fucked with him like that. Like you said, we ain't doing no songs, nothing, because I always fucked with N.O. I never fucked with him like that. Like you said, we ain't doing no songs, nothing. Because I always fucked with N.O. I always fucked. Like even, it was to the point when Ross was trying to, you know, I don't know. Ross was trying to sign niggas. That's how I felt. You can ask O'Vean.
Starting point is 02:11:36 Yeah, no, no, no. I remember that. Ross was trying to sign niggas. I never met 50 in my life. Nothing. But I'm like, damn. Fuck with this nigga Ross, man. Everything he doing. But I just got, damn. Fuck with this nigga, Ross, man. Everything you're doing.
Starting point is 02:11:48 But I just got loyalty is a feeling. It ain't no certain thing. It's a feeling. You know you're doing some fucked up shit with loyalty. If you're cheating on the dog bitches, whatever. If you're cheating on the girls holding you down, you're going to feel bad. Like, man, I shouldn't be doing this shit. Because you're way too smart for our fans. Right.
Starting point is 02:12:01 No, no. Our fans are smart, man. My fans are listening to this shit as well. So what you're saying is that Ross actually offered you a position or a deal or whatever it was. I'm a savior.
Starting point is 02:12:12 And you're saying out of your loyalty to 50, you declined that. No, I did the video of Ross, everything. It was dope. Ross 100. I was just with him
Starting point is 02:12:20 in Vegas. I was in Vegas. We popped up on the show and shit. You know what I'm saying? But it's just like that shit that you feel that I didn't know was money in the game. You also got to define loyalty
Starting point is 02:12:30 because you keep saying loyalty and there's such thing as blind loyalty. That's all it is. Blind loyalty is foolish pride and loyalty. So you're claiming blind loyalty in this industry too. I'm claiming I'm a victim of my circumstance. Fuck that.
Starting point is 02:12:46 I ain't no victim. I'm claiming the people that I was taught by, the people I looked up to, this is the shit. This is the trail that they blazed. And I followed it until I realized this trail going off a cliff, nigga. You're done. You niggas walking this trail. I'm driving foreigners through it.
Starting point is 02:13:02 You're done. You see that shit, Successions on HBO? I was'm driving foreigners through it. You're done. You see that new shit, Successions, on HBO? I was starting to watch that shit. Yo, listen. Wait, with the family, right? With the family? It's called Successions. So at one point, the guy says to him, yo, can I trust you?
Starting point is 02:13:14 He said, yeah. Oh, what the fuck? Two X's. Yeah, yeah, that family, yeah. Yeah, I was watching that shit. HBO crown fucked me up. It was blowing away. But the thing about it is, I felt like you bought, at one point, too much into it, and then too much not into it when it became to actually, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:13:35 Like what? Like you just thought everyone was supposed to be one million percent? I just thought everybody was like me, and that's what come with growing. No, no. I did, too. Like, how I'm 100 and I'm real with niggas, you see what I'm saying? Yeah, I did learn that, too. You went through that.
Starting point is 02:13:50 I never went through that. I never had nobody show me nothing. I thought everybody was real like me. Okay, all these niggas rapping the same like me, all these niggas talking the same like me, they fucking look like me. All right. All right, this is what it is. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 02:14:00 But then when you come into it, niggas ain't like that. You find out niggas be dick riding niggas just so they can get a feature. Real shit. For example, no nigga would ever come on here and talk about, yeah, I didn't do the J-Mill shit because I had to call Pusha T and say, yo, Pusha T, is this real? Yo, I fuck with you? No, I ain't talking about it. GZ kind of came in here and said he. I ain't talking about that.
Starting point is 02:14:24 But I'm going to tell you because mad.O. I ain't scoffing. I said, but N.O., I'm going to tell you, because mad niggas want to fuck with Drake. So they don't want to seem like they fuck with Pusha T. Even though they do on the low. A lot of niggas. I fuck with Drake. Johnny Rocks is my man. Period. But now I know it's not real shit.
Starting point is 02:14:37 You know what I'm saying? But niggas be dick riding in the game. Niggas dick ride for features too much. They dick ride for everything. Describe what's not real shit. Yeah, yeah, describe what's not real shit. You know what's not real shit, niggas. No, no, no. Not me. You got to tell us for the fans. You got to know what I'm saying. You gotta describe that. Describe what's not real shit. Yeah, yeah, describe what's not real shit. You know what's not real shit, nigga. No, no, no, not me.
Starting point is 02:14:47 You gotta tell us for the fans. You gotta tell us for your fans. Niggas dick ride, niggas. A lot of rappers you see have beef with problems, they'll have a problem with, it'll be one artist who have a problem with this artist. And one artist who want a feature, he go fuck with this artist and this artist. And then niggas be like, though, you a dick rider. You know I got a problem with this man,
Starting point is 02:15:05 but you bet. Yo, my brother, I love you. Yo, you my nigga. You my nigga. The next thing you know, you in a picture with this nigga. Dick ride him. A lot of niggas don't get off on their own merit.
Starting point is 02:15:14 All my big records, I got off on my own merit. And I put niggas on that could've took me down. An anchor. A new artist is an anchor because they're pulling you down. They're not established. I put my own new artist on my shit that was already going to go because I didn't give a fuck.
Starting point is 02:15:28 Because I'm pulling my niggas up. That showed my loyalty, which is a handicap in the game. And we realize that now. But whatever. Like I said, I still made the bag. So you see a lot of niggas dick riding shit. That's fake. That's not real.
Starting point is 02:15:41 If you don't fuck with a nigga, don't do a feature with him. Don't, oh, yo, he hot right now. I'm don't fuck with a nigga Don't do a feature with him Don't Oh yo he hot right now I'ma fuck with him Nigga I think Did I put I don't know if I put Young Thug On that list
Starting point is 02:15:50 Of the top 50 rappers But there's mad niggas That was trying to call Young Thug gay But then they dick ride him For features I've been fucking with Young Thug I'll fuck with that nigga
Starting point is 02:15:58 But young niggas Don't know what the fuck They talking about But they'll say They'll have one opinion And then they'll put Their opinions and feelings aside To go fuck with niggas for the bag
Starting point is 02:16:05 I don't dude. I'm the bag nigga. I got the bag But it's money over a lot of shit, but money don't mean shit to me. I don't do whatever for money Got it. I don't care about that shit period. I'm kid about that niggas will sell it So compromise the integrity for the bag And that ain't right that so that's the same without money though is that the same without i'm saying that same integrity yeah fan i've been getting money since i was like 18 but i'm saying i got it for the money is the integrity still it should be no it should be because money is on your level it's it's countless niggas with way more money than me countless niggas with me
Starting point is 02:16:40 countless people with way more bread than me so money is only a a monster. Okay, how you feel like you feel comfortable? You feel like everybody love to do what they do? How confident that you could get that bag, you don't need to do certain things. And I would never do it because it's time. Perfect example. I'm going to grab a blunt. No, I'm grabbing a blunt. Take my blunt.
Starting point is 02:16:57 Fuck that. Take my blunt. No, no, no. I want an actual blunt. You can't smoke with me on your birthday. I want an actual blunt. No, no, no. I want an actual blunt.
Starting point is 02:17:04 So can you smoke with me on my birthday on camera? Yeah, I've been smoking want an actual blunt. No, no, no. I want an actual blunt. So can you smoke with me on my birthday on camera? Yeah, I've been smoking with you all day. No, no, no. I want a blunt blunt. I want a blunt blunt. You don't know school at all? I'm still better. I don't eat no ass or nothing like that.
Starting point is 02:17:14 You heard me? I'm good. I don't eat no ass or nothing. I'm good. You eat ass? Okay, okay. Oh, man. That's a Spanish man blunt.
Starting point is 02:17:22 You got to keep that. I know you want to get some ass, man. This is a joint. This is a joint. Yo, hold on. Who got my car keys? We still working. We finally got that.
Starting point is 02:17:30 I was talking about my life. You're fucking me up, man. Please. I want a blunt, blunt. What are you doing? Are you tired right now? Take your motherfucking shade off. I'm tired.
Starting point is 02:17:40 I don't like you. You feel bad. Come here. Sit down. Talk to me. What do you want? Come here. Come on with us
Starting point is 02:17:45 Sit down She real She real She probably got a boyfriend Huh She probably got a boyfriend She real You got a boyfriend

Starting point is 02:17:59 Cocaine crazy So y'all You know somebody went cocaine crazy When I had a girl before You remember that I remember Come on nigga He had to call me and talk to me about that
Starting point is 02:18:13 And I said Man Whatever you wanna do He had to call me and talk to me He said Listen man This person like this girl And you with her man
Starting point is 02:18:22 And you know we need you to Now fuck with her I said No you know You big bro No problem I ain't gonna fuck and you're with her, man, and you know we need you to. Now, fuck with her. I said, no, you know, you big bro, no problem. I ain't gonna fuck with her. Listen, man, I've been holding you down for a long time, man. You're my guy, man. And I understood where you was coming from, but I didn't understand because the thing is, you got to understand that there's certain people that is always going to be
Starting point is 02:18:45 just a neutral nigga because he's just a neutral nigga. And I can get the pick side shit. I don't fuck with niggas that's neutral like that. The way I fuck with you is I fuck with you. Like, niggas, if somebody come in, I don't care if it's me and you
Starting point is 02:19:02 and we out at a, we could be in wet bullies. I don't know if niggas still go there. No, we do not. Nigga is on. This nigga been invited to your wedding. Wait, you playing with me? Listen, I ain't get out a lot. You ain't finished your bottle.

So you gotta finish your bottle though, completely. Can you open, listen my nigga, don't embarrass me. Oh, Diego, you're holding a blunt, right? It's a whole lot. All right, cool, because y'all forgot.
Starting point is 02:19:48 But just don't go to jail off of this right now. No, no, no. I ain't shit. If I go to jail, I'm going to lose a lot of money. You know what I'm saying? But God forbid,
Starting point is 02:19:56 if somebody came here and tried to kill an old nigga, I'm going to put this fucking bottle of poo right in his face. No, we can murder them and stay right here in Florida. We got guns. We got guns, too. I got New York State in mind. Totally different. No, no're in Florida. We can murder them and stay right here in Florida. We got guns. We got guns, too.
Starting point is 02:20:05 That's why I moved in. I got New York State of Mind. Totally different. No, no, no. But, no, I don't have no New York State of Mind in Florida. I'm just throwing it out there. Just so you know, I came out here respecting the gun laws. We know our gun laws.
Starting point is 02:20:20 Yeah, that's exactly how it's going down. So, for real, I just mapped out since I was like 21 years old, I came here, I said, what's the gun laws? It means everywhere. Guns everywhere. Anywhere, we're on it. So it's a difference. Because I want people to understand
Starting point is 02:20:38 I'm not making fun just now of people who lost senseless gun violence. And the bullshit laws, to be honest. Yeah, and the bullshit laws. But at the same token. We're going to take advantage of the laws that are there. It is a loss.
Starting point is 02:20:52 We should all as citizens take advantage of the laws that are there. It is a loss. It's a loss. It's not for no type of people. Stay in the ground. God bless Trayvon Martin. But trust me, there's going to be on the other side. I don't know if I don't.
Starting point is 02:21:07 Listen, bro, we should all just know the law, take advantage of the law. You know, Katie, my pops from Queens, he be talking a lot of shit. I ain't no talk. Queens niggas talk alike a little bit. You know what I'm saying? Only if you from New York, you'll know. You'll say all this shit. You know what I'm saying?

Starting point is 02:21:39 As they should. Both of them. And I didn't even buy my mom's that mink at that time. She was taking me to buy minks since I was young. I bought a mink after. Talk that talk. You that time. She was taking me to buy minks since I was young.
Starting point is 02:21:45 I bought a mink after. Talk that talk. You know what I'm saying? Real shit. There's no bragging shit. Constantine Furze. 29th Street, 7th and 8th Avenue. Constantine Furze.
Starting point is 02:21:53 He still make my minks of the day. He always say, I ain't no Troy since he was five and six. He make the best furze. All kinds of things. He's Mexican or Haitian? I don't know. He's Greek. He's Greek.

Starting point is 02:22:39 I think you gotta relax. Wait, hold on. I think you gotta relax. I'm gonna relax. What the fuck is in here? You gotta relax. Who made this? Don't do it. Don't do it. I mean, I don't know what you're gonna know. You gotta relax. I'm gonna relax. What the fuck is in here? You gotta relax. Who made this? Don't do it.

Starting point is 02:23:41 And everyone went over there and said you know congratulations it wasn't like a traditional they had already was married you know so that's the deal and I was like I'm not gonna be the only people that's not gonna go over there and say I walked over I'm like yo what up y'all good my niggas

I don't appreciate this, man.
Starting point is 02:27:34 I got nothing to do with that. If you hate a Chinese person. Wait, but I don't like the way you start with Cuban person. That's the fact. He said dirty Cuban. Yeah, man. I don't like that shit. That's the worst version of it.
Starting point is 02:27:43 That's why it's that good to hate. Why you got to stop talking about it? Because I looked at you. Why you been angry I love it. The worst version of it. That's why it's that good to hate. Oh, my God. Because I looked at you. I looked at you. I looked at you. You've been with the Japanese. You've been anywhere. I just realized you was Cuban the other day.
Starting point is 02:27:53 I'm not going to lie. So that was a personal shot. That's my dog right there. No, I thought he... Let me tell you something. I thought he was black the whole time. Yeah, he's black. He's Cuban.
Starting point is 02:28:00 No, I thought... They coexist. This shit getting deeper and deeper with the bullshit. I mean, I'm a little bit more racist today. I thought he was black. Black. Wait, so he stepped in the name of Lava, and then he went Spanish? I was this nigga. Yo, I'm just saying, yo, you better watch yourself. He's Cuban, B.

Starting point is 02:29:55 Yo, we're Iraqi. He's cameoed out. I said, hold on. That was very insensitive. Very insensitive. You know what I mean? It's because I'm both. I can rarely be insensitive. But you're not Cuban.
Starting point is 02:30:04 You're Puerto Rican. You better watch out. We all got dropped off in the same boat. No, we all the same. Yeah, we all got dropped in the same boat. Same boat.
Starting point is 02:30:12 New Orleans. Yo, but Troy, man, let me just tell you something, man. I was saying some real shit, man. We got to talk to you. If you remember, all the real shit we was saying.
Starting point is 02:30:22 I don't fuck up. Because it wasn't he said Cuban. He's two for one. He said Cuban. He fucked up. Was I focused on Cuban? But Trey,
Starting point is 02:30:31 I'm going to be honest, man. You came in here. You motherfucking, you know, you held it down, you know, for what the fuck you doing, man.
Starting point is 02:30:41 And I'm not going to lie, man. The hate you received. But the love you received. Let's talk about the love first. Fuck the hate. The love you received. The love you received. I'm going to love the hate.
Starting point is 02:30:51 Batou is even more with me. I'm going to love the... But what happened was every other New York artist at the time who had the same cockiness as you, who had the same swag as you... Who had the same swag and cockiness as me? I'm just giving you, what I mean is.
Starting point is 02:31:07 Name them. Who had the same cockiness and swag as me? Name them. This is ending it big in your head. This is what I'm saying. You playing the game. We just say broad statements and there's no detail of the fact that who.
Starting point is 02:31:20 We got to put a name behind it. Who had the same. But you know what? Let's not put a name in it because then I'll be like, hell no, that's the shit that happened at the other station. And then start some bullshit.
Starting point is 02:31:28 So was really somebody coming with the swagging and was somebody coming from New York City or I was coming from New York City? What I'm saying is that path, the path,
Starting point is 02:31:37 that same path that was going that way and arguably, if you would like me to get into names, that's like a Tupac path. It's like a 50 Cent path. It's like a,
Starting point is 02:31:48 I make great music, but I also have great drama that's associated with me. I didn't have no drama at the time. Did I kill that just now? Because he thought I didn't know what I was doing.
Starting point is 02:31:57 No, you didn't kill that. No, I killed that. Oh, I killed that, yo. Listen, man. Hey! Can't get no hope for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can't get no hope for that. Listen, listen. I'm telling! You can't get no home for that. You can't get no home for that.
Starting point is 02:32:05 Listen, listen. I'm telling you. You can't get no home for that, you know. I'm telling you why. You try. You run home. I'm telling you why. I'm telling you why.
Starting point is 02:32:13 I'm telling you why. I'm telling you why. I'm telling you why. Number one, man. He said Tupac first. I thought he was going to say some New York shit at my time. He fucked me up with the Tupac shit. I didn't know whether to be like, man, what the fuck this nigga talking about? Tupac from New York. Tupac my favorite rapper. That's good shit. He fucked New York shit at my time. He fucked me up with the Tupac shit. I didn't know whether to be like,
Starting point is 02:32:25 man, what the fuck this nigga talking about with Tupac, my favorite rapper. That's good shit. And he fucked New York. And he fucked New York. No, New Bronx. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 02:32:32 Tupac was wrong. So he fucked me up with that, but he wasn't talking about that to begin with. Now some people lie to make their argument with you.
Starting point is 02:32:41 It's not a fact, but they want to make their point with you so they lie a little bit. That's what he did to me when he said Tupac, so I can't even dispute Tupac's role. No, but they want to make their point with you, so they lie a little bit. That's what he did to me when he said Tupac, so I can't even dispute Tupac's role.
Starting point is 02:32:48 No, but what I'm saying is, all right, what happens is, there's certain people... Wait, one time on my phone. Okay. Remember, we at, what happens is,
Starting point is 02:32:56 there's certain people. Everybody remember that? Yes. I always wanted to know. No, what happens, but it's real shit. No, no, please look. I need this for me to grow
Starting point is 02:33:03 as an artist. Because... He wants to go in I'll say it because what I'm saying is at the end of the day when you google Tupac sometimes his the rape case come up everybody hated Tupac
Starting point is 02:33:20 don't change it I don't think that's 100% true. So, when you Google DMX sometimes... Oh, New York. Maybe New York. When you Google DMX sometimes, first thing that come up is cases that he has. Top 50 artists, DMX. So, when you Google you, I'm just sorry, it comes up immediately.
Starting point is 02:33:40 That's okay. That your case is outweighing your successes. But don't it... You just named two greats. Right. That's a fact. That your case is outweighing your successes. But you just named two greats. Right. That come with them. Exactly. That's my point I'm trying to make. That's my point I'm asking.
Starting point is 02:33:52 It comes with that. Right. That's the reason I'm asking. You thought I was being funny at first. No, no, no. I wasn't. Come on. I know you ain't being funny.
Starting point is 02:33:57 I'm just fucking with you. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course. You smoke blunts too? Of course. I saw you smoke a joint. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 02:34:04 You try to play on my pride. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's some bullshit. Butunts, too? Because I say you smoke a joint. Oh, yes, yes, yes. He trying to play on my pride. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's some bullshit. But let me tell you. You still a real nigga? Best out? You still eating meat baddies? Let me tell you what a real nigga do.
Starting point is 02:34:11 You see that blunt? Yeah, yeah. That shit ain't longer than my finger. Oh, okay. Look at the tip. I can't smoke it. Okay, all right. I can't smoke it.
Starting point is 02:34:17 All right, let's smoke another one, nigga. Go ahead. Let's smoke another one. Go ahead, go ahead. He passed me the end of the blunt like, I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, yeah, I ain't gonna lie. I ain't gonna lie.
Starting point is 02:34:24 I ain't gonna lie. I just yeah. I ain't gonna lie. I just wanted to be selfish. I wanted a blunt. I didn't want a joint. By the way, Smoke Champs is available in California, everywhere, everywhere. Smoke Champs right there. And not only that, hold on. Big up to our peoples at Shine that you know me, it's got gold blunts.
Starting point is 02:34:40 And the Ewing sneakers, man. I had this shit. And we got Ewing sneakers. We got the drink champs, Ewing sneakers out there. We got the drink champs, Ewing sneakers. We got the drink champs, Ewing sneakers. Man, fuck that. We don't motherfucking. Look at you up there.
Starting point is 02:34:50 I was going with some Louis Vuitton. That better be yours. No, it's Yeezy's because I ain't going to hold you. I can't. I'll hold you. You got me going hard with my goddess, great paper straight brand. I spread the word.
Starting point is 02:35:01 You got to give them the medicine. We love Yeezy. We love Yeezy. No, absolutely. Yo, Yeezy. Shout out to Yeezy. Yeezy did his thing. I spread the word you gotta give them the medicine Free free free We are coming Miami Yeah, yeah all the way through I got some friendly I got a package coming for y'all That's what you got to stop. You got to stop. Okay. 100% with it. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:35:26 All the way through. I got a package coming for y'all. Yeah, please. Please. You came with cups. That was all. That was all. No, I came with the cups, man.
Starting point is 02:35:36 I ain't going to hold you. It was me, EFN, Scarface, and somebody else. Stally's on that record. Premier produced the record. That's a classic record. That's a classic record. That's a classic record. This nigga got to stop with his perfect memory. He's got an impeccable memory.
Starting point is 02:35:51 Let me tell you. Let me tell you. This is why I... That's why I said that he is a student of the game. 100%. I wouldn't have put him on that record or even reached out if I didn't think he meant for... It's Scarface on the record. That was awesome.
Starting point is 02:36:05 That was awesome. That was hard. That was hard. That was hard. That was hard. That was hard. Let me take a second. Let me take a second. I appreciate that real shit. Let me take a second.
Starting point is 02:36:11 That nigga's a hip-hop extortion. My nigga, I know. Yo, so... The middle of the stage together was going crazy about it. That's hard. You have no idea how much of a motherfucking compliment that is, man. My nigga, I know. Because you cut us off after a while when you was mad at us.
Starting point is 02:36:26 Yeah, that's us and Rodney. So you really know. No, I know. That shit right there, that's us. Now, we have a lot of history, actually, man. I was so hyped that he put me on record with Scarface. I'm like, what the fuck? You're Scarface, man.
Starting point is 02:36:35 And I don't think Face was on record until after. Yeah, after. No, you were the first one on the record. That's crazy. So you know how much that means. That means you heard your verse. You were the first one. If anything, Face heard your verse. You were the first one. If anything, face words.
Starting point is 02:36:46 You're the first one. Don't you ever come on here or anywhere else to say that it was all about the money. Yeah, man. Shut up. You heard what you just said? No, no. You just refuted your whole shit. Because that was the real.
Starting point is 02:36:58 That was the truth. It's different. When you just said it, like in your passion or how you just said it. I started making more money than if it was my rap. Yeah, but that's the passion. I'm a backpack rapper at heart, but it ain't no money in it. Exactly, that's the passion in this hall. Damn, niggas got another blunt for me.
Starting point is 02:37:14 Y'all niggas is actually a good crew today. I don't know, it's because my birthday just passed. Y'all showing off a, y'all strong. Troy Abel, the taco ladies. I'm not sure. But my crew, y'all. It's been a special night. It's been a special night.
Starting point is 02:37:34 It's been a special night. You're not smoking enough. I know you're not smoking enough. I got one hand, one hand. You better get it going. You didn't smoke enough. I've been trying. That's okay.
Starting point is 02:37:41 Because you know what? I wanted to keep you focused because, you focused because I throw out when I interview people and I got a little secret social media group that I send out a message. It's called Illuminati. Of course. You know. He plugged in. He got the Duce.
Starting point is 02:37:57 He plugged in. Put that right there in his throat for the shot. He plugged in. Oh, yeah. We plugged in a lot of things, brother. But listen, trust me, Hennington, he right there with the... Wait, wait, wait. I'm Cuban, yeah. We plugged in a lot of things, brother. Listen, trust me. And he right there.
Starting point is 02:38:08 I'm Cuban, man. Let's keep grinding. But one of the things was straight up, and it was crazy because every time I put it out there, and I saw it, I said, yo, put it on the room. We got Trey Ave. We got Trey Ave. And the first thing, like, I think I know the answer. And I'm sure we all know the room. We got Troy Ave. We got people got for Troy Ave. And the first thing, like, I think I know the answer. And I'm sure we all know the answer.
Starting point is 02:38:28 But the first thing is, yo, is Troy Ave going to snitch on Tag Stone? That's the crazy. That's the first thing. But listen. Yes. That's what they're supposed to throw out. They the same person drowning in the middle of the ocean splashing around. They're supposed to make that noise.
Starting point is 02:38:44 They don't ask you the first question Did he snitch on Troy Ave Did he try to get Troy Ave Put the murder on him Did he try to say that it was Troy Ave guns And then copped out saying alright y'all caught me They don't ask you none of that So they supposed to ask you
Starting point is 02:38:59 Streets is a myth dog period I got niggas on Facing a Rico. They go to court on the 16th. I'ma be there for court for them. I'ma be there. You know what you need, my nigga.
Starting point is 02:39:13 Suits. What you need. And nigga, God forbid you go down and take care of your sons and he ain't gonna miss no Christmas. Period. Not niggas in the hood.
Starting point is 02:39:25 You can't give a fuck. Niggas in the hood is Christmas, period. Not niggas in the hood. You can't give a fuck. Niggas in the hood is a small minute. What niggas say, they say niggas in the hood are dick riders. They the nigga who's saying, I'm taking the biggest bowl on the slave line, but the master come fucking your bitch and you quiet. You the nigga that hold down a block, you sell the drugs, but you living with your mama and you complain about some rent. That's not real shit to me.
Starting point is 02:39:44 When I go out in the streets, it's fucking fanfare. I put out too legit to quit. It's 19,000 likes. It's 1,100, 1,100, 1,800 dislikes. Those are the streets. They don't matter. They don't matter.
Starting point is 02:39:59 Then my question is, how you going to snitch on something that's on the internet? How you going to snitch on something that's on camera? How you going to snitch on something that's on the internet? How you going to snitch on something that's on camera? How you going to snitch on something that you copped out to? You copped out to. If fucking Troy Ave is charged with, I'm charged with spilling the fucking liquor on this man's shirt. I'm charged with spilling this liquor on his shirt. White shirt, spilled the liquor on his shirt.
Starting point is 02:40:21 But then you come in and you say, wait, Troy had bought that look in, and then they say, no, your DNA is on this fucking cork. Nigga, you pop the bottle.
Starting point is 02:40:31 Alright, alright, well, alright, alright, I cop out, I did it. What the fuck is he doing?
Starting point is 02:40:37 So, if you bought the motherfucking look in, and all that shit, Troy has spilled the liquor on that man's shirt, how? You copped out already.
Starting point is 02:40:46 You already told him yourself. You already told him yourself. You can't keep it fair with a rap nigga. You cannot keep it fair with these niggas. If a nigga's fucking constantly coming to your block
Starting point is 02:40:58 and punching you in your face and you getting beat down, what you going to do? You going to keep it fair with them? You going to keep on trying to talk to them? No. You don't keep it fair with it. Nigga, you fight. Come on, man. Y'all know. Y'all know what the fuck is up? If a nigga come in his room right now,
Starting point is 02:41:21 shoot everybody in this motherfucking room, they don't die. But then they say, oh, hold on. My man with the red, he fought the gun away from me when I was leaving out. He fought the gun away from me when I was leaving out after shooting everybody. And then he shot at me. That nigga say, no, he brought the gun in here. He shot the gun. He shot everybody. He shot everybody in his room. That's what they're going to say about him.
Starting point is 02:41:37 The person who shot everybody is going to say, he shot everybody. Hold on. Whoa, whoa. Who got the red? Right there. He shot everybody. They're going to say he shot everybody. Then why'd Whoa, whoa. Who got the red one? Right there. He shot everybody. They going to say he shot everybody. Then why'd you do that, bro?
Starting point is 02:41:48 What the fuck? Why'd you do that? But you didn't do that. That's the most important thing. You didn't do that, but you blamed and you charged me doing that. What the fuck? A lot of niggas want to give their homie fucking $200 if he caught. You're going to sit out and miss fucking over a million dollars for an op, for a rap,
Starting point is 02:42:10 telling that you did some shit that you didn't even do. You know what I'm saying? And you're going to miss out on, you lose custody of your kids. You got none of that shit. You know what I'm saying? You, hold on. Not even lose custody of your kids. You can't do no shows.
Starting point is 02:42:24 You can't perform in New York. Because you're charging this shit. Okay, hold on. Not even lose custody of kids. You can't do no shows. You can't perform in New York. Because you're charging this shit. Okay, hold on. It get deeper. Nigga, we're going to take all your money you made. I don't care if you made fucking, if you might have made $6 million in life in your career. Somebody sue you for $10 million. You're going to owe $4 million in life for a rap?
Starting point is 02:42:44 For a hater? This is real shit. This is what's really going on. So niggas can play and, oh, this is funny to say this and that, but this is really what's happening. So now you got to ask yourself that question. What? Would you hold what the fucking streets say? Because you know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:43:01 Our streets are going to handle it. The homies are going to handle that. But then when the homies don't handle that, the homies are waiting because you're going to be in our streets going to handle it. The homies going, they going to handle that. But then when the homies don't handle that, the homies waiting for you to get out and, yo, what's up? What we doing? All kind of shit. Now you got to ask yourself,
Starting point is 02:43:12 what you going to do? Are you going to stand like Troy Ave? Because Troy Ave stood in jail. Troy Ave lost custody of his kids. Troy Ave lost over a million dollars. Troy Ave can't perform in his number one market, which is his city. Troy Ave can't perform In his number one market Which is his city Troy Ave can't leave the country
Starting point is 02:43:28 Niggas calling me in Japan Germany Switzerland To get a bag And you know them I've never been out the country My nigga I've never been out the country
Starting point is 02:43:37 To get a bag I was supposed to go to Fucking Hong Kong And I I chose Nah I'm going to Miami For Memorial Weekend
Starting point is 02:43:44 To get that bag Instead of going to Hong Kong Never got that Oh, now I'm going to Miami for Memorial Weekend to get that bag, instead of going to Hong Kong. Never got that. Oh, you know what? The terms of my bail, I can't leave now because I got that, because I held it down and I was a real nigga. A fake real nigga. Because like I said, I got real niggas fighting cases in the feds, recall charges, and where's
Starting point is 02:44:01 all the real niggas that's under them? They're not contributing nothing. Nothing at all. So, like I say, the streets is a myth, and all niggas do is agree, because when niggas see me,
Starting point is 02:44:14 all they want to do is take pictures, Snapchat, and tell me how much they fuck with me. There's never no, yo, yo,
Starting point is 02:44:22 cho-y, yo, fuck, never, never. Niggas not going to say that to me. Because I'm built different. When anybody have been around me, I know you've been around me.
Starting point is 02:44:31 You know people fuck with me. I don't know. I fuck with that nigga. I don't know what these niggas talking about. I fuck with that nigga. But it's always somebody that's never been around me that's a hater. So real niggas like fake niggas influence them. Period. How somebody turn from a supporter into a hater? Charlamagne was a supporter.
Starting point is 02:44:48 Go back. But I just want to clarify what I think people think they're asking is they're like, it's clarifying. If you take the stand, like if you get a, because that was the line you said. You said, saying fuck you from the stand. But you know, I said that because niggas already said I took the stand when I came home from bail. It wasn't no child how I took the stand. That's why I said that.
Starting point is 02:45:11 Okay. Because niggas was already saying that I did this and that and the third. And I'm like, how, nigga? How? I come home and I'm paying back fucking deposits for $7,500 cash. I'm paying it back to niggas because I can't go to Hawaii. How to understand where? Where?
Starting point is 02:45:28 I'm holding it down. Like I said, niggas in the hood, you can't. Anybody watching this, if you from the hood, call fucking three niggas in your phone and say, yo, my nigga, give me $1,000 right now. You in the hood. You in the streets. If you in the hood and you in the streets and you don't have a job doing something successful, nigga, then you better be making a bag, period.
Starting point is 02:45:46 And niggas around you, you better be able to go, hey, yo, my nigga, let me get a band. Let me get $3,000. Don't ask me for what. Don't ask me. Don't tell me you ain't got it. Give it to me because we in the streets. We risking our freedom, our life, everything. So you better have it, period.
Starting point is 02:46:00 So niggas in the hood is talking about dumb shit, but niggas that's really doing something, like, what the fuck is you niggas in the hood Is talking about dumb shit But niggas that's really doing something Like what the fuck is you niggas talking about What Are you Nigga it ain't nobody that's gonna miss out on fucking A million dollars for a hop Ain't nobody I'm getting sued for Ten million dollars right now
Starting point is 02:46:20 It's different people Six million dollars right now All kind of niggas can take everything I got. And I'll just be, next thing you see me, I'm a broke nigga on Drink Champs. Yeah, baby. Baby, yeah, back in the days. You know me. I'm fucking
Starting point is 02:46:35 pulling up in a fucking Uber. Not even. Yeah, baby. I don't got no Dolce and Gabbana. I don't got my own shit. Yeah, back in the days. I don't want to hear that bullshit, nigga. I'm not wearing Tiffany shades. Niggas wouldn't do that, you know? Niggas would not do that.
Starting point is 02:46:51 Period. But who did that? Troy Yab. The first nigga that go through that door, he get shot. The first Black Panther that bust through that door, what's up? We were those. He get shot. In fact, the first nigga that say I'm not signing for that bread on the MLB
Starting point is 02:47:06 whatever he gets shot you can get him money period I'm the first nigga saying these niggas are widows I'm the first nigga
Starting point is 02:47:13 saying I'd rather my kids be the dealer not the user niggas came and said it after I think Jeezy said it after
Starting point is 02:47:18 niggas came and said it after but he gets shot down period but you know what I'm built for this because any other nigga you can name him they go through jail they go through hate but he gets shot down period but you know what I'm built for this because any other nigga
Starting point is 02:47:26 you can name them they go through jail they go through hate they go through being banned from their own city they get broken down they hang it up they're done
Starting point is 02:47:35 period so niggas can say is he going to do this or do that that's not the question to ask ask if that man did that to me already
Starting point is 02:47:43 because and then and then what like I'm asking the ex, ask if that man did that to me already. Because, and then with the Tekashi 6ix9ine, that's something totally different. That's totally, you know that's totally different. Totally. Because you know what that's with. You never tell them the game. But where the crazy shit is, what happens if Tekashi right now comes home, takes the stand, tells on everybody, does everything, and then has a hit record? Where's your stand on him?
Starting point is 02:48:13 Where's your stand on him? You know what? He's here with a nigga playing a game, man. There's a camera on me. A nigga playing a game. Nigga told me to play the game. Then he tricked me to say, let me see if this nigga going to play the game. I'm not going to play the motherfucking game.
Starting point is 02:48:30 What I'm going to do is take what I learned and say, you know what? What niggas opinion is, is what they opinion is. What I was told is, nigga, if it's the game, it's the game. I don't care if the gang going to rape your mother and fucking kill your children, nigga.
Starting point is 02:48:42 You with the gang. You with everything that come with that gang. You know what I'm saying? That's it. But this is music. This ain't real life. Don't get it fucked up. Don't think this shit is real life.
Starting point is 02:48:52 Only niggas keeping it real is niggas like Troy Ave and a couple other niggas. And then you see what they get. They just hate it on the console. So right now, Takao, she want to do a record with you next week. You know what? I'm going to do the Kanye. I'm going to say I don't know because I'm going to do the Kanye.
Starting point is 02:49:05 I'm going to say I don't know because I'm going to tell you why. Nah, you know though, my nigga. I don't know. I know, come on. I know, I'm not doing records for no bag. I'm not doing records for no money. And look, I'm going to keep it real with you.
Starting point is 02:49:17 I'm going to do the same thing with $6 million that I'm going to do with $30 million because just like you saying, taking a deal with being independent, a nigga giving me a deal, I already got all the cars I want being independent. I already got all the homes I want. I'm not going to do it. But we know what it means.
Starting point is 02:49:31 I'm not going to do it if I think about it. We know what it means to claim street. At the end of the day, I'm going to be honest. To claim hood is different. To claim street is you can be as rich as you want and still be street. Like to me, Fat Joe is mad rich, but he's still street. Like he still do street shit. Joe crack.
Starting point is 02:49:55 50 is mad rich and he's still street. So there's like a certain thing. Like when you see 50 say on the Breakfast Club. I was mad happy when I seen the whole power shit with 50 when I'm going through the airport. I seen all the stars and power shit. I was mad happy. Me and 50 had a very good conversation when I came home. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:50:13 As soon as I came home. So let's just say, let's just say for argument's purpose, right? Because people understand your point. Like, you know what? The man said something about me. I might as well say something back. I didn't say that. Don't put me on record because I'm not on record doing that. Okay.
Starting point is 02:50:29 I'm still fighting in my head. Just the way I fought in my head was staying in jail for two months. The way I fought in my head and losing over a million dollars. The way I fought in my head was losing custody of my kids. Right. Don't throw it out there like I said that. I never said that. No interview nowhere.
Starting point is 02:50:42 Right, right. You know what I'm saying? We got to deal with the facts. I only deal with the facts even if it was my enemies. I deal with the facts. Period. So, just like you said, dealing with the facts. Tekashi, what he dealt with is
Starting point is 02:51:00 he's straight up saying, these guys did this, and I need to come home. All right, well, you know what? See, it's fucked up. I'm going to tell you some shit. We're going to talk about it later. You told me to play the game, but then you asked me a question that my personality won't allow me to play the game.
Starting point is 02:51:22 But, technically correct, I could be like, hey, old man, listen, man. I love all these artists, man. Whatever they do is up to them. But, secondhand, I will say that the way I was raised in the streets is you never tell them the gang. You with the gang, period. Everything that come with violence, treachery,
Starting point is 02:51:40 destruction, that all come with the gang. I don't care if niggas try to... If niggas put a bullet in your head, in your chest, nigga, you live. You don't come with the gang I don't care if niggas Try to If niggas put a bullet In your head In your chest Nigga you live You don't talk to the gang They say gang or game
Starting point is 02:51:49 The gang Gang G-A-M-G Fuck all that rap shit That rap shit I ain't with all that rap shit Come on I just want to make sure
Starting point is 02:51:58 That people listen If I could get money Selling fucking BSB Drink champs cups I would be doing that You feel me There might be something there Let's do it Let's do it We going I need all my publicity selling fucking BSB drink champs cups, I would be doing that. You feel me? I wouldn't be selling that. There might be something there.
Starting point is 02:52:06 Let's do it. We're going. We're going. Put something on the screen. 1-800-drinkchamps.com You can buy these cups right now. An 8-pack for $25. Sonny comes to your house.
Starting point is 02:52:21 Sonny brings you the... And he shows you his chest hairs. Oh, man. You add another 100, you shake his dick. No, no, no. Relax. Sonny, you want to shake your dick on delivery for a hundred? You want to shake your dick on delivery for a hundred?
Starting point is 02:52:37 No way. Listen, man. $250. $250 for a delivery of eight cups. Only with women. You got to be bad. I need to see a picture. I'm coming to your house. I'm going to say, OK, is it? $250 for a delivery of eight cups. Only with women. You got to be bad. I need to see a picture.
Starting point is 02:52:48 I'm coming to your house. I'm going to say, okay, here's the cup. And twin coming, too. Twin coming, too. No pictures, though. Twin coming, too. No pictures. Twin coming, too. No pictures.
Starting point is 02:52:56 Who's going to do that? Twin and Boris. Go ahead, you know, I know you got to be professional. What's up? I know you got to be professional. I ain't fly out here to be professional. What's up? I know you gotta be professional. I ain't fly here to be professional. Nothing professional. Nothing.
Starting point is 02:53:07 Because you know what? It's a very unique situation where we at in life. So Tekashi, like you was saying, you're not supposed to tell on the gang or whatever. But being a real nigga is a handicap. So then do Tekashi come home and I have no opinion. He'll say I wish him the best and he'll say I wish him no harm. Whatever. I don't know that. I had no opinion on that. You know what I'm saying? At first, I was like, man, free him because it was fucked up what he was going through. I could relate. After that, we didn't see the facts until
Starting point is 02:53:37 the child come out, so I got no opinion on it. But if he come out, dude, I'd be, well, the real nigga is, well, how he was raised up on, I be what a real nigga is, what Harvey's raised up on, a handicapped being a real nigga? I ain't doing something with that nigga. That nigga told him the whole game. Fuck that. Right. Or do I be like all these other niggas that's going to call, yo, let me get a song, let
Starting point is 02:53:55 me get a song. Right. They going to make millions of fucking and millions of dollars. You know what I'm saying? Just because what's going on. And then meanwhile, you a broke nigga or a real nigga. There's a difference between being real and being real stupid. At the end of the day, this shit is entertainment.
Starting point is 02:54:11 I like that. Real shit. Shout out to Kinky B. There's a difference between being real and real stupid. Now, at the end of the day, do you be the nigga that's fighting in the WWF, but you really body slamming niggas? You really breaking niggas necks in the WWE? And they go, get this nigga out of here.
Starting point is 02:54:27 He's too real. Or do you be the nigga that do the fake people's elbow? I love the rap. I'm not trying to throw stuff. You do the fake people's elbow and you really stay in the league getting money
Starting point is 02:54:35 and you got shows. So it's all about what you want. Are you in entertainment or are you in being real nigga? Because them shits ain't the same. Period.
Starting point is 02:54:43 I agree. The thing is is the only difference with with you is people but really like dug into your image like with takashi i mean real life that's what i'm saying that's what i'm saying my bad i wish i had a different lifestyle the lifestyle the way i like the culture, right? Get more brains. See, Tekashi, there's always been people that never believed this thing. I don't want to cut you off.
Starting point is 02:55:11 You said it, Tekashi. There's always been niggas that really believe it. I don't want to cut you off. But with Image, you in entertainment business. You ain't into fucking making music to keep that shit in your headphones and cell phone for your cell phone business. But do you want to be the nigga that's fucking here on top and he fucking all the bitches you want to fuck and probably your bitch, or do you want to be the real nigga that's
Starting point is 02:55:33 getting his bitch fucking fucking with all her bitches? So it's like, what are you in it for? You know what I'm saying? What are you in the game for? But you said the reason why niggas, Takashi and all that. No, no, I'm just, this is what I'm saying. Like, nobody believed he was that or whatever. See, at the end of the day, yeah, at the end of the day, it's this, right?
Starting point is 02:55:51 People believed it. And no, don't say that. People believed it. Because he really wasn't. No, well, not in the world I lived in. But how many things are not, how many things in the world that you lived in? But there's a lot of things that happened in the world I lived in. Yeah, I agree.
Starting point is 02:56:03 Being a hater wasn't acceptable in the world that you live in. But I think because there's different situations in the industry where people say, you know, I think where the industry. My man is on a RICO case for that same child right now. That's crazy you say that. Okay. For that same child. Freedom bloody, man. He's innocent.
Starting point is 02:56:24 Do you in your mind think the industry flipped on you or no? I know I actually had my different way. I can't say the industry flipped on me because I never paid that much attention. The only time I paid attention to the industry is when I first started getting in. Once I called that DJ and he told me $1,200 for a number 30 slot out of $1,200. Long time after this case because I don't want to talk about that. Not really, because I never really... When I dropped...
Starting point is 02:56:51 You was on New York City album. That followed up by Major Without a Deal. I did songs with everybody I ever wanted to do a song with in my life. Anybody that inspired me to rap growing up, I did a song with them on those two albums, except for Jay-Z and Biggie. And Scarface. They say Scarface, too. God, God.
Starting point is 02:57:10 You made that happen, right? I'm too real to be fake. I always fuck with Scarface. I started fucking with Scarface for real when... This can't be life shit. That's why I'm fucking with him. Same real shit. But I never had Aspiring and Dreams.
Starting point is 02:57:23 I never heard these niggas on Clue, Mixapes, or shit. Like, I want to do some shit with them. So anybody that, this is what I'm trying to tell you. All my dreams and aspirations, I did. I'm just, I'm a nigga coming out the street selling crack. Who worked his way up to Bricks. Statue of Limitation, over. And then I ventured that after having a failed laundromat, a failed liquor store.
Starting point is 02:57:44 You know, family stealing, fucking up the money. I ventured that in a rap, andromat a failed liquor store you know family stealing fucking up the money I ventured that in a rap and then I became successful and got all my dreams with it so for
Starting point is 02:57:51 New York City album I did it somewhere like in a Lyon if I was like I don't cry I ain't cry in fucking years my nigga over the fucking
Starting point is 02:57:59 a decade or more you know what I'm saying I couldn't even cry for my nigga Banger while I'm in jail cause you know how jail is you ain't a bunch of animals you don't show no weakness period you know what I'm saying? I couldn't even cry for my nigga Banga while I'm in jail because you know how jail is. You in a bunch of animals. You don't show no weakness, period.
Starting point is 02:58:07 You know what I'm saying? You can cry under your sheets or whatever if you want, but I'm not weak under that. So I didn't cry in years. But just to be able to sit with niggas like Fat Joe had a birthday in fucking Miami somewhere. I was out here doing some shit. I made sure I showed up to that. Because whether, Joe Crack ain't from Brooklyn,
Starting point is 02:58:26 and no one ain't from Brooklyn, but these niggas inspired me. Without these niggas, I wouldn't be at where I'm at. Right. And it wasn't no niggas coming in from... That goes back to EFN said,
Starting point is 02:58:35 he knew you as a student of hip hop. That's a fact. He knew you as a student of hip hop. Which is great. Which is a great thing. Continue. I'm sorry to cut you off I never forget that
Starting point is 02:58:46 No matter how Somebody says some slick shit About me If in the beginning I'm coming up And 50 say some slick shit About me I'm not gonna forget that
Starting point is 02:58:53 Cause to me That's fake nigga shit If somebody If you was in the background And what somebody did Whether they affected you Directly or indirectly Put you on the front ground
Starting point is 02:59:02 Then you can't forget that No matter what they say Man Alright Whatever Fuck what that nigga's saying, man. I got fucking $6 million. You can't never forget that because that's fake shit to me. Where do you have 50s, sir? I mean, 50 is straight.
Starting point is 02:59:16 Last time I seen 50, we was fighting in the fucking hallway at the jeweler. I seen him at the jeweler. He seen me at the jeweler. You get a lot of money. You get a lot of money, man. Yeah. He get a lot of money. He think I... In the past time, man,
Starting point is 02:59:30 you ain't got to say so. It's like a third jeweler this nigga named. David the jeweler. You ain't got to say so. Right, right, right. There's money out there. So, yeah, I seen him there.
Starting point is 02:59:37 And then, you know, it is what it is. When I see him, he is love because he responsible for letting me, you know, get to this point At first he was hating
Starting point is 02:59:46 But he said Like we spoke And he was like Nigga I ain't know Where you stand Which is understandable Because a lot of niggas Will come in
Starting point is 02:59:53 Showing love to a nigga And then they'll turn around And act like they ain't do shit I keep I'm consistent Because what being real to me Is being consistent Always keeping your word
Starting point is 03:00:03 As a man Being true You know what I'm saying Not always keeping your word as a man being true You know I'm saying not fucking if your man got a bitch that's a bitch you don't fuck that bitch Yeah, that's being real. You know I'm saying that's what if your man is in jail you hold down his kids holidays and shit That's a little more than you got but you know what? I'm gone baby. Come on. Look at me. Don't let me get the zoom. You know, once I start getting started. Ah, come on. EFN is right there. Nah, he don't drink this shit. EFN, I'm here. I flew from Brooklyn. I flew from Queens to JFK. Yo, let me tell you something. I need we go back. This ain't no fake shit.
Starting point is 03:00:37 Don't drink that. We go way back. My man. That's my man. Troy, give me a shot. Give him a shot. Give him a shot. Give him a shot. That's my man. He ain't drinking nothing, man. Let's do some Ciroc. Let's do some Ciroc. Let's give him a shot.
Starting point is 03:00:53 Yeah, let's do some Ciroc. And no, me and EFN go back before I even knew you. Yeah, I know. That's hard. You ain't even going to take my calls. That is hard. But we're still waiting. Oh! Look at that shit.
Starting point is 03:01:02 Come on. No, he don't want that. He want... No, but he gave us a shot when we went back. No, no, no. He shit. Come on. Come on. No, he don't want that. He want. No, but he paid us out when we went back. No, no, no. He want a shot shot. Listen. A shot shot.
Starting point is 03:01:11 Y'all see, they're playing a game. Then when EFN get crazy in here, start flipping tables. You know what I'm saying? Because he got a story when he got drip on champagne. You know what I'm saying? Let me just tell you something. Niggas don't take shots of champagne nowhere. Shots of champagne goes nowhere.
Starting point is 03:01:28 You have to put... Shots of champagne. This is your shot. This is your show. Of course, you overriding. You know everything's going. Let me tell you from a fan perspective. Sit back. When I got my fucking TV on on a fucking big screen, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 03:01:44 75 inches. You think niggas do shots of champagne? No screen, you know what I'm saying, 75 inches You think niggas do shots of champagne? No, no, no. I'll tell you. When it's Drink Champs, it's Drink Champs. It doesn't say specification Drink Champs. It doesn't say we only drink Bacardi Rum Drink Champs. It doesn't say we only drink two-stage, two-stop.
Starting point is 03:01:59 It's Drink Champs, Drink Champs. And no, when we were drinking it was no limits. It was whatever you drink. It kind of started with just Bacardi. It kind of started like that. No, I'm being honest. It's because you was into the questions too much and never really paid attention. In the beginning of Drinks Chance, it was just Bacardi.
Starting point is 03:02:15 It was very... I'm a fan of the show. No, no, no. I'm a fan of the show. This is like pre-this. I want to do this for all the fans. But I'm going to be honest. It's always been, we're going to drink.
Starting point is 03:02:25 That's why I asked you, what do you drink? Right, and I didn't know that. Because you want everybody to drink their thing. I don't want you to drink your thing. I don't want you to take. No, so you happy in your own way. I'm happy you happy. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 03:02:38 Let me tell you. I never had no choice when I was with this man. It was whatever he was drinking. That's all. Whatever he was drinking. If he buying, he's drinking it., if he buying, he was drinking it. If I'm buying, he drinking it. It's correct.

Starting point is 03:03:05 I didn't know. I thought you were keeping it real. No, Nori and Drink Champ. Oh, so it's two different people. Yeah, yeah. So you're not keeping it real. No, no, no, no, no. He's keeping it real.
Starting point is 03:03:14 Well, he's not keeping it Nori. Nori drinks everything. But why not? When I'm on Drink Champ, I have to stay stable. Okay, so everybody, you need to know that the WWE is fake. They don't really buy slam people. So Nori's not really being Nori. But we've been drinking the law fucking right fake. Starting point is 03:04:36 Did it his way. He put it all on the table. You know what I'm saying? Like Frank Sinatra. Like, you know, I admire it. I've always been a cool nigga with him. We've always been cool. We had a short misunderstanding. And you know what I admire it. I always been a cool nigga with him. We always been cool. We had a short misunderstanding.
Starting point is 03:04:46 And you know what I had to do as the OG? I had to let him get over it and wait till we see it. And then we saw eye to eye. We kicked it. I was so glad about how you spoke about Hovain because I've never seen Hovain speak in any other foul vein to you. So the fact that... You can't talk bad of me. I took him from the ground to... Not even from music.
Starting point is 03:05:12 I took him from the regular ground to... Fucking nigga, we gonna get money in the streets. It doesn't matter. You can't speak bad of me unless you a fake nigga. And Hovind got some real nigga in him. So he can't... It's gonna come out. When you tell my real shit, it's going to come out.
