It's time for Drink Ch It's Drink Champs motherfucking podcast Where every day is New Year's Eve It's time for Drink Champs Drink up motherfuckers Hold up, let me say something You know I'm a honorary free friend Whenever Noria EFM needs somebody Hold up, let me say something. You know I'm an honorary free friend.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Whenever Noria EFM needs somebody, I'm free for it. He's an honorary free friend. Yo, I'm a ringer. I need like a union. Yo, you definitely are, though. You definitely are. I get paid for holding the lights up or something. It's very true.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Yo, you get free beer for the rest of your life. I need a free beer. I got two things to say to you. I need two things to say to you. They want something nice. Hold up, we're going to get a pair of kicks. We need one pair of kicks behind you. And you know the other thing we have to say? What? Hold up, we're going to get a pair of kicks. We need one pair of kicks behind you.
Starting point is 00:03:48 And you know the other thing we have to say? What? Welcome to Revolt, bad job. Welcome to Revolt, baby. We're going to make it happen. We're going to make it happen. We're going to make it happen. We going to make it happen. Revolt. Y'all listen.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Revolt is the new Def Jam. Revolt is the new Def Jam. Heavy Revolt pressure. Heavy Revolt pressure. Heavy Revolt pressure. Now listen. Revolt is the new Def Jam, meaning you got to have like a deal with Wu-Tang Clan. You got to have a deal with Rockefeller. You got to have a deal with Wu-Tang Clan. You got to have a deal with Rockefeller. You got to have a deal with
Starting point is 00:04:25 everybody. And listen, I was so proud of you and Puff coming together last night because this is something that I've been trying to do for a while. I need my brother over there. You know, you got Hitch Mania. I don't think anybody wants it with you on the verses.
Starting point is 00:04:41 We had DMX on earlier. You had DMX on earlier. We just got off with Habit. We had DMX on earlier. You had DMX on earlier. We just got off of speech. We got off of habit. We had DMX earlier. But, Fat Joe. What would on versus? Everyone's saying you and Fat. Nah, I don't want to battle.
Starting point is 00:04:59 I'm bad. I'm a bad loser and even a worse winner. I don't think I can be nobody's friend. He's so unbothered. And everybody they keep mentioning, look, there she goes. She went and found an exclusive. Woo!
Starting point is 00:05:17 As he don't want to go. Damn. She found some exclusives. Yeah, I want my daughter. Executive producer of the Joker show. Y'all, my daughter. But nah, I'm being honest with you. Y'all know it'll go bad with anybody.
Starting point is 00:05:39 If I battle Kelly or you, we won't be friends no more. Nobody. I believe you. First of all, I don't be friends no more. No, I'm terrible. I believe you. I don't want to talk with you. Now imagine, if I'm battling Fab and Lenny's in the comments like,
Starting point is 00:05:53 I've never talked to Lenny in my life. I'm going to lose so many friends on a battle. I don't want to do it. I swear to God. You know I'm going to be in the comments. Joe, bro. Joe, you know I'm going to be in the comments. Joe, bro. Joe, bro. Yo, hi.
Starting point is 00:06:09 So Lenny X. Lenny X. You there, Lenny? I'm here. Lenny, you there? I'm here. He's there. You have a lot of artists. You have a lot of artists. What is one of your artists you want to see again? Fab. Let's stick with Fab. Fab got a lot of arts. What is one of your artists you want to see again?
Starting point is 00:06:26 Fab. Let's stick with Fab. Fab got a lot of hits. Fab tours like a rabbit. I would love to see Fab in a battle because he has, you know, he's obviously tested the time on the hip-hop shit, and he's broken all the barriers of five, ten years in the game, bullshit. Just like Joe, just like a lot of my peers and my friends that have dispelled all the barriers of five, ten years in the game, bullshit, just like Joe, just like a lot of my
Starting point is 00:06:46 peers and my friends that have dispelled all the bullshit. Fab Benny and making records 20 years and still going. Lenny, who do you think Fab should battle? I think it should be like a Kiss or a Cam or... See, I can't do that.
Starting point is 00:07:02 They'll never be my friends again. Cam. A T.I.? T.I. can't do that. They'll never be my friends again. I can't. A T.I.? T.I. would be good. That would be ill. Yeah, T.I. would be dope. T.I. and Fab would be a dope battle. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Because I can't see friends, like, real friends doing that because it's like, like, I can't go to New Orleans no more. They're going to beat me up because I was going so hard for Scott Storch. Like, when one of my guys go, I'm in the comments like, finish him! Finish him! All the Manny Fresh fans are like, yo, if you ever come to Detroit, boy,
Starting point is 00:07:33 to New Orleans, boy, we're going to get you. It's a sport. This is why Swiss said, when we had Swiss right now, he said he don't want to call it battles no more. He want to call it celebrations. Yeah, he's right.
Starting point is 00:07:49 He's got to find a way to keep it going. Yeah. But in music, in the spirit of competitiveness, like competitive... Hip-hop. Hip-hop. This is hip-hop from its birth. It's a competitive sport. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:08:01 Yeah. Yeah, I'm just a bad person deep down inside. I'm glad I'm not young enough to fall for it. When I was young, I probably would have fallen for it. Argued with everybody, broke the phone, this. I'm like, yo, I'm glad
Starting point is 00:08:21 I got wisdom now. I'm just like, yo, you know what? I love I got wisdom now where I'm just like, yo, you know what? I love the versus celebration as being a fan and a supporter. Know what I'm saying? Rather than putting me in on that thing right there. That's crazy. Who we can get Nori to battle? We're talking about Nori and Cam would be dope.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Yeah. The only reason why I don't like that battle is because one of Nori's main records got Cam on it. So who uses it first? Nori gets the right to use it because it's his record. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:01 What's the rules? I don't know. I think who uses it first. If you put it out It was your record like fucking Justin Timberlake can't Magna Carter, holy Crazy how crazy it would be me and cam battling and then cam brings bad on TV and beats me with bad from TV. That would be great. That would be great. Tell me about it. You got beat by your own record. Yo, Noreen, tell me about it. Tell me how many concerts Khaled invited me to and
Starting point is 00:09:33 performed all the way up before I got to do it. Oh, Joe, Joe. That's because he didn't believe you were going to show up. Yo, man, let me tell you the last one what was it super bowl weekend yo that boy courtney had me going up one ways hula hoops i swear to god yo i risked my life my family was with me we was going up one ways 360s hula hoops i remember the college show the courtney was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, that lane, that lane. My wife was like, bro, you're going to jail.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Like, we made it, though. We made it. You did. You definitely pulled up. Yeah, man. You know, it's, uh. Lenny S., I seen the back, your background of the Air Force Ones with the all-black with the white strike back there.
Starting point is 00:10:25 You know, I got those. Those are Supremes. I only got those. These are just Supreme sneakers. This is your Supreme closet? Yes, the Supreme room. Yelena, yes. Let me tell you something. If I ever go broke, I'm breaking into your office
Starting point is 00:10:41 and I'm going to take the gold couch and take it to a We Buy Gold shop. And try to get some money for that couch. You get a couple of dollars. All right, Lenny. Lenny. Lenny, Lenny.
Starting point is 00:10:56 The other day, me and you had a conversation, right? Me and you had a conversation. We won't say what this conversation is. We won't say what this conversation is. We won't say what this conversation is. We won't say what this conversation is about. But at the end of the day, it's like it is great to see you as a human being.
Starting point is 00:11:15 You there? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right? So the one thing that we don't see anybody as a human being is Jay-Z, right? Who do you think Jay-Z... You think Jay-Z will battle or he won't
Starting point is 00:11:28 even play around? I don't like to answer for him, but the Jay, I know I don't think he would. I think he's battled in the field. I mean, he's battled with Nas. He's battled with, you know what I'm saying, different people. So I think that's where those real... You know what I mean? That's the real battlefield.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Battled with Joe battle Great friends now battle with nice great friends. Now. Those are the real battlefield. I'm saying these guys actually really lived it. Oh You know saying you told them what X said, you know, let me tell you so can I tell my story Joe? Yeah, I want to hear the story. I don't know what story so so one time Nori I Won't go too deep. But anyway, you what story. So one time, Nori, I won't go too deep. But anyway, you know, there was one time, everybody knows, there was like a little thing where Rock and Terror Squad, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:12:14 It was like a little thing. And this was back in the day. At the time, me and my man Bert, we was riding around in the Bronx in the Rockefeller Benz. So it was real times. I'm not talking about real things, right? So Joe knew of me as a shorty. He wasn't like my man, but he knew of me, and he knew my people's showbiz and AG, obviously.
Starting point is 00:12:42 That's his family And the Legion And Joe sent the kite To like my guys like yo I like the little homie Lenny S Tell him if he knows It's good for him to ride around in that Benz For a little while I stayed out of the Benz For three weeks
Starting point is 00:13:01 I'm like damn Joe I gotta salute you stayed out of the bed for three weeks. Well, damn. Yo, I got to salute you. Joe, I got to thank you for that. That was some real shit. We love you, Lenny S. We love you, brother. Yo, Fat Joe, I learn shit new about you every day, man.
Starting point is 00:13:20 And we stuck at home. All we can do is tell stories. It's it. Don't know what you want me to do. Yo, it's still, you know, I'm rock nation,
Starting point is 00:13:31 man. Yeah. I'm rock nation. I'm rock nation. I'm Duce. I'm rock nation. No, I'm saying the past,
Starting point is 00:13:41 the past. Yeah. It's just who we are. We all family. So we are, man. We got to go through certain paths in life to get to where we at. Every time anybody tells a story or asks me
Starting point is 00:13:53 about the Jay-Z, Fat Joe thing, I tell them all the time. My fault. I was an asshole. I was wrong. It's completely my fault. I was fresh off the streets. I was wrong. I's completely my fault. I was fresh off the streets. I was wrong. I say it all the time.
Starting point is 00:14:09 All of. All of. I know Nori will get a kick out of that story, though. No, Nori loves it. I don't tell Nori nothing. So listen, so listen. All right, one last question we got one common denominator
Starting point is 00:14:28 that we all love on here right and besides Jay is DJ Khaled now Khaled has hit after hit after hit over 20 first of all he got the best house I've ever been in
Starting point is 00:14:44 he's Joe Space he got the best house I've ever been in. I've been in a lot of niggas' houses. He's Joe Space. He got the best house. He definitely got a sexy house. He got one. I go to Jay-Z's house, too. Oh, my God. Jay-Z flattened the mountain.
Starting point is 00:14:57 They flattened the mountain. The land is flat on the top of the mountain. I haven't been there yet. I've been getting a lot of time to check, so I got to relax. I can't invite myself. I can't invite myself. But who could Kyle it square upwards? Versus us.
Starting point is 00:15:17 And versus. I just don't know. He ain't on it like that, but maybe Joe can answer that. I don't know. He can battle anybody. He got enough hits to battle anybody. But like he said, I asked Khaled this. Khaled ain't on it like that.
Starting point is 00:15:35 He ain't on it like that. He on some Jay-Z shit. You know what I mean? He's on some... Yeah. That time in his life, he done passed that time in his life. Yeah, he ain't battling nobody. Nah, he can battle anybody.
Starting point is 00:15:49 He got 11 albums. He got nothing but number one hits. After number one hits, he's ready to give anybody a problem, but he ain't with it. Yeah. So, guys, when is he coming on Drink Champs? Both of you guys can answer this. I've been trying to get him on Drink Champs,
Starting point is 00:16:04 and Nori won't schedule him. No, no, no. Don't say that. Don't say that. Yo, EFN, let me tell you something. Khaled is anti-interview. Anti. No, he fucks with Nori, but he hates him.
Starting point is 00:16:20 No, no, no, no, no. He loves Nori as a brother. Nori's son Noah is like his godson. He loves Noah. We all love each other. But in interview, professional interview, Khaled gave it up a long time ago. And I mean, I just put it this way. He just don't, he despises interviews. He gets mad at me every time I do an interview and it goes
Starting point is 00:16:45 viral. He's like the principal or the dean. Anything I say, he'll break it down to me. Why you say that? I'm telling you, they're trying to trick you. Don't say that. He don't like interviews. I can get that, but just
Starting point is 00:17:01 tell him it's a family affair over here, man. He knows that. He knows that. He knows that. He knows what it is. But I can't say before you go, Nori. He 100% said, when the time is right, I'm doing. And I said, Cal, you can let me know. Nori's our family.
Starting point is 00:17:20 I can tell him, you want to chill? No, no, no. Those guys are my family. I want to do it. Album comes, I'm going to do it. I want to do it. I want to do it somewhere exotic. On a yacht or somewhere. Little Haiti.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Let me just tell you, Lenny S is right. When Khaled actually did say, I want to do it on a boat, I want to do it on a private jet, I'm going to be honest. If you tell me to edit this part out, this is not a public link. At that time, when he had made a certain
Starting point is 00:17:53 statement about a certain person, I said, Collin, I can't do that because it's going to make you seem like you're bigger than that. You know what I'm saying? Everyone else, if Puff Daddy sat in his chair, Fat Joe sat in if Puff Daddy sat in this chair, Fat Joe sat in this chair, Nas sat in this chair,
Starting point is 00:18:08 and I got to go, look like his statement is for real. It makes, you know what I'm saying? And I won't name this person because this is inside information. I won't ever do that. So when he did say, I'll do it, I had to decline in which
Starting point is 00:18:25 way he wanted to do it. At the end of the day, like Joe says, his son hangs out with my son. His wife hangs out with my wife. I can't look at him in his face and say, yo, I'm going to jump on a private plane and not knowing. I understand the internet. A lot of people don't
Starting point is 00:18:43 understand the internet. They would have frowned at that point when, you know, when he came in a certain level and people were judging Colin and he could never become that. He is the people who's against that. So when they said,
Starting point is 00:18:58 yo, private plane and take a private plane to a yacht, I said, uh-uh. You don't understand. We have the wall-bounds, people who pack bags in wall-bounds in C-Town. That is our fans.
Starting point is 00:19:14 We have the worst of the worst. The wall-bounds. Nine to five. Blue collar, baby. Nine to five. Blue collar. baby. And it was great. 9 to 5, blue collar. You understand? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Fat Joe has footage of people going to Barbaro Bridge and people watching drink chats of the police who's taking people. Like, we have regular people. And at the time, if I had a chance to get Colin on and make him look crazy or get Colin on and make him look beautiful, I would get Colin on and make him look beautiful I would get Colin on and make him look beautiful and although he thought that the yachts and the boats was dope and it is dope it is dope it's just at that time when he said he'll do it I couldn't I couldn't put him in that jeopardy I couldn't I would never be in the Bahamas again. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:20:08 Had I said, yo, all right, me and EFM, we're going to jump on the bus and go to the Bahamas. And it's great. It's great. It's just not what the people want to see. The people want to see Khaled being regular. People want to... You know what it is?
Starting point is 00:20:21 Quarantine is the best thing that people... That man really don't got a haircut right now. That's hard. That's hard. He's trying to fuck his own hair. He's killing him. He's killing him? No, I'm saying, Khaled still keeps the best
Starting point is 00:20:38 positive advantage in the world, but you know, he's like, I need a cut. He says it every day on social, like, I need a cut badly. I had to learn how to cut my hair, man. I never knew, I need a cut. He says it every day on social. Like, I need a cut badly. I had to learn how to cut my hair, man. I never knew. I never cut my hair. No, I never seen you without a cut in your life, bro.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Nah, fuck that. I had to learn. Yo, I caught a nightmare. I was roofing the first week. I couldn't sleep. I woke up in the morning. I caught Rich DeBob. I was like, yo, Rich, what do I do?
Starting point is 00:21:03 Fuck that. This, this, this. And he was like, yo, I left clippers in your house. And I FaceTimed him and he taught me how to cut my shit. I do straight razor too. That's gangster. I do straight razor, all that. Fuck that.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Nah, he saved my life. I was like, yo, fuck that. I ain't looking crazy like that. I think I would have broke quarantine if I was good. If I was like really looking crazy, I'd have been like, fuck that. I'm going to let somebody come cut my head. That's crazy. So now, this is somebody that's all of our brothers.
Starting point is 00:21:37 I've been speaking to him. He's been coming out. He's been going to the gym. He's been having his boy with him. Who can Busta Rhymes battle? Anybody. Busta Rhymes can battle anybody. Busta Rhymes got shit.
Starting point is 00:21:57 25 years. Huh? I said 25 years from Tribe Called Quest to fucking Chris Brown of just monsters Busta Rhymes can battle somebody like
Starting point is 00:22:10 I'm scared to say it but like Snoop Dogg M&M would be crazy I know they said X&M Swiss said X&M but I think Busta and M would be crazy yeah Busta could M would be crazy. Yeah, Busta could battle anybody.
Starting point is 00:22:28 I don't know who wouldn't battle Eminem. That's a different type of battle. I think that would be ill. Yeah, I don't think nobody could fuck with Eminem. Nobody. I think DMX has the same crowd. I think DMX has the same crowd. DMX got the biggest hits in... Nah, nah. DMX got the biggest hits. Nah, nah.
Starting point is 00:22:45 DMX got the biggest hits in the world. One of the greatest rappers of all time, legendary, iconic superhero. And everything I'm saying is understating him. He's bigger than that. But there's something about that white boy and his fans. Nah, bro. You want to see some crack in the internet?
Starting point is 00:23:09 Nah. That nigga David Koresh, nigga. Wake up. That nigga different, bro. Hold on, hold on. You want me to break the internet right now? I love Eminem. I'm a big Eminem fan
Starting point is 00:23:25 but you know who I'm the only guy I am in the world and I've had this argument with Irv Gotti on Drink Champs I'm the only guy in the world that didn't think Eminem bodied Jay-Z on Renegade, I did not think that I don't have even an opinion on that, I'm just
Starting point is 00:23:43 I don't have an opinion on that,. I'm just, I don't have an opinion on that. What I'm trying to tell you is that Eminem was hot when we came out. Right? So Eminem was hot when we came out. His fans from day one when he was making stands and all that are 40, 45 years old. These white people teach their kids that are 10 years old that Eminem's the greatest. And you
Starting point is 00:24:12 go in the airport and 10-year-olds are playing his shit like 45-year-olds. Like it just came out right now. It's a big difference with this boy. It's something different. You talk about...
Starting point is 00:24:26 This is an indoctrination. When you say generational wealth, there's generational... They keep teaching their kids that he's the man, like, to the ultimate science. You mean little white kids, 10, 11, 12. They said, probably, They wasn't around. And they know every Eminem song like it came out today.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Like it's a different. The man. So you're saying they go to kindergarten. Christopher Columbus discovered America and Eminem is the greatest. Eminem is the greatest. That's it. Terrible. That's a terrible way of putting it, though.
Starting point is 00:25:07 When their daughters go to cheerleader class, they hand them a pamphlet. We'll be dancing to Lose Yourself. I want a routine to lose yourself. Yo, Linny S. Linny S. I have to ask you, because I see you put your head down.
Starting point is 00:25:28 I received so much slack, not because Jay is my man or whatever. I kind of didn't relate to Renegade. When Eminem got into his, you know, I related to Arms Lefty, Groms, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:25:44 And Irving called me a piece of shit. Literally called me a piece of shit. He said, you ain't going to admit that Eminem beat Jay on it? And I looked at him with my eyes and I said, I don't remember Eminem lying on that. Not because I'm dissing Eminem, because I'm not. I actually, I'm not. I'm not. I swear to God.
Starting point is 00:26:02 You have your opinion, Norrie. You all right? I can't debate his argument have your opinion, Nori. You're right. Personal preference is an opinion. I mean, they both got off crazy. It was actually Eminem's track. Yeah. He got to live with it.
Starting point is 00:26:15 The flow on there. They both bodied it, but the flow on there that Eminem had, it was married to it. It was his joint. And his production, too. That's what I'm saying. It was his track. It was literally. You know, so, I mean, those things are a fact. Eminem's the only guy
Starting point is 00:26:27 who sent me the Leanback remix. He sent me that same verse 30 different times. Saying it with a different tone. Lighter tone. Stop it. He wouldn't make up his mind.
Starting point is 00:26:44 30 different takes and verses. And this, the same verse, but different flows on the version. Same verse, but different flows, different, different,
Starting point is 00:26:56 different, high, low. I don't know what to tell you. This dude is such a perfectionist. It was like, all right, we know the verse.
Starting point is 00:27:05 Can we let it go? Like, let me down to the wire. I just need to hear Lenny's opinion. Because it feels like Lenny is leaning towards it. He's going. I answered already. I answered. I answered.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I said, I said, but I said it's a matter of an opinion of who you think got off better. I just said that it is a factor. And no, you're going to be biased, of course. In my opinion, no, I think Lenny is saying no. No, I didn't say that.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I said I'm telling you the reason. What are you saying, Lenny? He said it's up to the individual. Nori, you said that personally you thought you think J-Body M. That's one. You're also saying that the majority of the people in your time, in your career, you've heard them say that M, I guess,
Starting point is 00:28:06 was better, right? That's what you're saying. I'm telling you the reason why I think people think that is because it is a factor that is his track. He made the beat. He lived with it forever.
Starting point is 00:28:21 He had a certain marriage to it that was just there. They both bodied it they both mutilated it but i you know i'm saying sometimes you have to know backstory and what and how somebody lived with something and why they were married to that track so lovely there's factors involved so lenny's not going to tell you who he thinks he's just saying it's it's it's equal it's it's equal and it's biased depending on your personal opinion. I got the picture of J&M performing that record in a little hole
Starting point is 00:28:50 in the wall club in Detroit. We just stopped there on tour. They called M. M came to the show. A little hole in the wall club and they did that record. I got those pictures. That record hasn't been performed except there and when they did it for the Yan Statham show
Starting point is 00:29:06 and the Detroit show. That's dope. It wasn't the soul. Fucking Sonny back then. Yeah. I can't thank you for this. Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. He ain't gonna relax. Yonari.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Yonari. I have no problems and no quarrel with being your guinea pig slash your honorary free member of the drink champs I have no problem showing up last minute whenever
Starting point is 00:29:38 you feel like it just texting me like yo get on now I might have a booger in my nose. But that's hip-hop. Whatever. Whenever you need me on Dream Chats, I'm here. We appreciate you, Joe.
Starting point is 00:29:55 I want to thank Azzy for bringing the heat out. Oh, yeah. Azzy brought that. Yo, I'm going to tell you the truth. I think this is the sneak I want. Lean back. This got a sample on it. Look, I swear to God, she wouldn't have picked out the
Starting point is 00:30:10 joint I want to lean back video. Like, this is disgusting. She pulled out the ass. I was in that video. You was in that video? Yo, Nori, let me tell you something, Nori. I love you so much. He was with Fat Joe. He got the pass. Now, I, let me tell you something, Nori. I love you so much. He was with Fat Joe.
Starting point is 00:30:26 He got the pass. Nah, I'm going to tell you something, Nori. I love you so much. And I need to tell you that because in no bad vibes, my brother, rest in peace, Fred DeGarsa, passed away. Rest in peace. And I was looking at so many pictures and my birthdays, my this, my that, anything we ever did, grand opening store, like anything we ever did,
Starting point is 00:30:53 and Fred was there. Always. And the fact that he was there was like he was there so much. It was so normal. I didn't even notice he was there. So when I'm looking at pictures, I'm like, damn, Fred was everywhere so much. It was so normal. I didn't even notice he was there. So when I'm looking at pictures, I'm like, damn, Fred was everywhere with us. And then B&T played his first video.
Starting point is 00:31:13 And I didn't even remember. I'm standing behind him the whole video. Like, boom. And it was like, you know, and Nori, you're another one. You know, it's more visible because, you know, you went platinum another one you know it's more visible because you know you you know you went platinum you're a superstar you know fred was underground but you're another one of
Starting point is 00:31:31 my brothers that you've been there my whole career my whole life if it's if we talk about a puerto rican parade we gotta say nori was on the float if we talk about a birthday nori was dead we talk about a video nori was dead and big punk about a video, nor he was dead. A big pun did some crazy shit, nor he was dead. And we did this, this. And so, you know, I'm just letting you know how much I love you because you know, it's rare that we keep these type of friendships
Starting point is 00:31:55 like that. You know what I'm saying? So it is what it is, guys. It's a sentimental week. You know what you want me to tell you? Love you guys, man. Everybody be safe. Lenny, help me get a dollar, man. I'm Roc Nation.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Yo, Lenny, help me get a dollar. I'm Roc Nation. Yo, bro. Yo, bro. Yo, bro. Yo, bro. Yo, listen. Open it up.
Starting point is 00:32:22 Open it up. Open it up. Yo, listen. I know a lot of cops, and they get asked all the time, have you ever had to shoot your gun? Sometimes the answer is yes. But there's a company dedicated to a future where the answer will always be no. Across the country, cops call this taser the revolution. But not everyone was convinced it was that simple. Cops believed everything that taser told them.

So what I'm hearing you saying is healing is a part of us also reconnecting to our childhood in some sort. You said I look how youthful I look because I never let that little girl inside of me die. I go outside and run outside with the dogs.
Starting point is 00:35:07 I still play like a kid. I laugh. You know, I love jokes. I love funny. I love laughing. I laugh at myself. I don't take myself too seriously. That's the stuff that keeps you young and stops you from being so hard. To hear this and more things on the journey of healing,

For sure, two things for certain is what I learned is it doesn't take anything away from me to support my friends i love fat joe i love afn and anything you guys ever do i mean i'm gonna be a part of it you know lenny i know you don't want to really talk about you know we talked about the other day but let me just tell you something, Lenny. You are very well appreciated in this game. One of your best friends is Jay-Z.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Thank you, bro. Let me just tell you something. Let me just tell you something. You can't complain to me about life at all, Lenny. One day, Lenny called me. He just complained. I took it. I took it because I said, you know what?
Starting point is 00:37:24 It's okay. I could be the ventilator, you know what? It's okay. I could be the ventilator. And you vented with me. But when I thought about it, I said, Lenny, your life is so blessed. You can't be mad at an ant if you're in the sun's atmosphere. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:37:38 You got to know who you are. You know what I asked Lenny? It was this year's Chicago All-Star. Once again, he asked me to perform for free for DJ Khaled, right? Something like that. And I had like a drink or two, and I was in a great vibe. I'm always, one of the best times is All-Star weekends.
Starting point is 00:38:01 I always love it. I'm sitting there with my family. I look at Lenny, and I start thinking about all the years I've known Lenny. And just, I asked him, I don't know if Lenny remembers. I said, yo, Lenny, it must feel amazing to be Jay-Z's, like, best friend. Like, because, like, they started from nothing. And, no, I asked you that. I said, the man became the biggest guy to do Yankee Stadium.
Starting point is 00:38:29 And his wife is Beyonce. Like, you know, we all got crews that we started out with. But you got to see this man become a billionaire. Houses on flat mountains. Like, it's like, I'm like, damn, Lenny. Like, what the fuck does that feel like? Like, your man really did it. How many times, how many times,
Starting point is 00:38:53 you could just answer it like this. How many times we thought it was the biggest show, maybe he was retiring in Madison Square Garden or Yankee Stadium or this or this. How many times have y'all gave each other a high five before he went out on that stage? And you was like, wow! Like, look at this shit.
Starting point is 00:39:11 Every time he went on stage and every time he walked off stage, I ain't gonna lie to you. It felt like a championship. That's what I'm trying to tell you, man. God bless, man. God bless. That's a beautiful thing.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Nori EFN, I love y'all. Your honorary low-low. Your honorary drink champs is out the building. I love you. These guys are quarantine champs. Let me finish what I was talking about for you. Oh, they had Lindy Black? Take a pee-pee. All right. So can we do one more? Yeah, let's do it. Now let's do it. Take a pee-pee Alright, so can we do one more? Yeah, let's do it
Starting point is 00:39:47 Damn, Lenny left? Let's do the legendary Breon You ready for Breon? You ready for Breon? Don't move this And watch out with these wires Let me call Breon right now
Starting point is 00:40:05 If not, I could get Don't move this. And watch out with these wires. Let me call Breon right now. All right. My bad. If not, I could get... No, just wait for EFN. What's going on, bro? No, no, stay right there. No, no, no. Stay right there.
Starting point is 00:40:21 I'm... Wait for EFN. I'm coming back. All right? Stay right there. All right. I'm holding for Ian Finn to come back. All right? Stay right there. All right. I'm holding it down for Ian Finn. Basta.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Ian Finn is out here. Eddie the Ass Eater in the house. Boris. Oh, shit. Sonny D. Boris, what's going on, man? You took money. It was good, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:41 B.T. Ah, yeah. Fucking Lenny. Boy, that's sick. This ain't soul Ah, yeah. Look at Lenny. Boy, that's it. This ain't Soul House, bro. We out here. Yo, we out here, brother. Come on.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Come on, Sonny D. Look, look what I got here. What the fuck? Look at this guy. Damn. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny.
Starting point is 00:41:04 It was good. Okay, I'm on it, yo. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo, Sonny. Yo What's good? Yo, you know I got that D'Ussé? Come on, man. I've been drinking this bottle all day. That's good. Look at Randy. What up? Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Breon said he... There's no social distancing over here. No social distancing over here. Oh, I love that. I love that mask. Breon said he's in the car. I'm trying to get out of here, sir. Ignore him.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Breon said he's in the car. Is Granny smoking? He's driving. He's driving. He's asking, can we do it tomorrow? Yeah, we can. I mean, can we do it tomorrow? Yeah, we can. I mean, we can do it later. He can pull over. We're kind of important.
Starting point is 00:42:12 He said something happening. He said something else crazy. All right. No problem. No problem. All right. Sorry about that. Yo, ballers, get out of there, boss.
Starting point is 00:42:31 You want a phone or a computer? Hold me, bro. He was going in and out. He's like, we're going to get cans. Is that a weird term? That's what we got. Does cans mean something to you? Eddie the anal eater?
Starting point is 00:42:53 We got DMX already, right? We did DMX. Nah. We did DMX. Avic. We got Timberland especially. You going to the party tonight? D-Night's party? Yeah, I'm a blessing right here.
Starting point is 00:43:15 Corey, you going to break all these up, right? I'll help you, huh? Okay, you can stay here. Yeah, yeah, we got you, man. You going to break them all up, right? Yeah, yeah, we do. This is Gil's second. Thank you, guys. Lord, I got you. What happened? All right, Bryce all up? Yeah, yeah, we do. This is your second.
Starting point is 00:43:26 What happened? He's zipping on me. You going to finish up with Lenny S? Yep. Lenny S? No, let me get out of here. Hold on. Yeah, Randy, get the F out of here, bro.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Hold on. Get the fuck out of here. Yo, Lenny S, I'm getting out of here. Get out of here. Yo, let me ask. I'm getting out of here. Get out of here. Are you ready? Yeah. Hey. So let me ask. What does that mean in English?
Starting point is 00:43:55 It means. Let me ask. People that sleep under a rock. People that sleep under a rock. People that don't understand what's going on, people that only think that artists are what control the game. I just want people to understand and know what your name, your position is, because a lot of people heard Lenny ass, they heard Kodak lens, they heard all this.
Starting point is 00:44:29 I personally know, but I would like you for the fans, especially Drink Champs fans, to understand who you are and what you do. I mean, I see what you're saying. I get that often. You know what I'm saying? Especially with social media,
Starting point is 00:44:45 you kind of just see things. It's all perception. You don't really know what the person does. People think I'm a photographer. People think I'm a manager. People think I'm an assistant. People think I'm an intern. You can be everything all at once, though.
Starting point is 00:45:00 I am. I am the dopest, most ongoing, consistent intern at rock nation I'm saying um I use the kid no no so I'm a music executive you know I'm saying I mean I like to say that because I kind of have different roles I mean I guess the main role is management um and I guess that's what I would describe in a whole. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:45:26 What I do. I'm just personally, I'm a dot connector. I just make sure the right people are connected. I make sure the right ideas come to fruition. I make sure to try to turn, you know what I'm saying? Nothing into something.
Starting point is 00:45:39 At the same time, I do hold the camera. At the same time, I like catching the moment for the culture. At the same time, I like documenting the moment for the culture at the same time I like documenting the culture and you know, the camera just been a way for me to document the culture, but I'm a I'm a music lover Executive first Photographer you're a man of many hats Lady actually I've been wanting to ask you we've been waiting for you to be on physically on drink champs for a while
Starting point is 00:46:04 Which I am gonna be no. No. Yeah, of course Lenny, actually, I've been wanting to ask you, we've been waiting for you to be on physically on Drink Champs for a while. Which I am going to be. No, no. Yeah, of course. Y'all can't take this away from me. No, no, no, no, no, no. We just quarantined Champs Special Edition. All right, all right. But so you was at Def Jam before, right? Correct me if I'm wrong about anything, because I got Bacardi brain.
Starting point is 00:46:19 100% I was at Def Jam. Okay. And then I remember me as a mixtape DJ communicating with you back in them days. Correct. But you also, this is what I've been trying to remember that I can't remember. You had an artist back then and you used to lace me with freestyle. He wasn't a Def Jam
Starting point is 00:46:36 artist. He was your artist. I think you're talking about Shaw Stimuli. That's exactly. I couldn't remember his name, bro. So for one year, for one short year when jay retired big john my mentor had me go to virgin records big john was head of black music at virgin right yep hired me as an a and i was one of my accounts too yes i did you know i got to work with big john obviously yeah put me like with lenny kravitz janet jackson you know i'm
Starting point is 00:47:06 saying a couple people and i signed shah stimuli from brooklyn who was a spitter no he's probably still ill no he's still ill but i was only at virgin 11 months because then jay took the presidency at def jam and then i went to Def Jam with Jay. You don't know how long I couldn't remember Shaw's name for so long. And I was like, when you come to the show, I'm going to ask you this so you can remind me. Story bike.
Starting point is 00:47:37 Whatever. Mixtape DJ shit, bro. No, let me tell you something. This is why a lot of people don't understand. EFN is a fucking hip-hop historian. He has a tennis ball from KRS-One from 1988. That's the only thing I got, according to you. By the way, KRS-One is one of my first idols, for real.
Starting point is 00:48:00 I'm from the Bronx. And the first person in the music business to be nice to me, to treat me like a human being, Kenny Parker, KRS brother. I used to go to every KRS show. Kenny Parker would see me, show me love, and we still have a developer friendship
Starting point is 00:48:17 till this day. Shout out BDP, the whole crew. Yeah, man. Met Derek and all of them back in the day. And people can't forget for everything going on right now with d nice he's bdp as well what call it's called the reinvention of life yeah and i told d nice is like the nori reinventions yeah i told i told d nice on d and i was like you you showing, and I told this to other people, it's like the DJ is the foundation of hip-hop.
Starting point is 00:48:49 It is the backbone of hip-hop. 100%. And it's like the DJs and the producers, that's why they're shining the most right now in quarantine. The majority of any dope producer, majority of them were DJs first. Yeah, absolutely. 100%. Shout out to D nice man but but
Starting point is 00:49:06 but let's just be clear here we go i know uh lenny you know him on the side and i know efn you know i'm on the side because all djs know djs but it couldn't happen to a better person like i i kid you not talk You talking about D-Nice? Yes. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. A better person. People don't know he was on self-destruction. No.
Starting point is 00:49:31 That was the destruction. That's what I'm saying. Not just a good person, a fucking legend. He is a fucking... He's been a legend. So this is just nothing short of
Starting point is 00:49:42 what he deserves automatic, you know know i've never seen a reinvention better like i always had a vision of a dj making a million dollars a show and i wanted i'm sorry because i don't want to sound racist but i wanted the dj to be black or latino and fucking d-night is it i want him to make a million a fucking show. Like, I don't even care. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I wanted the DJ to be black or Latino.
Starting point is 00:50:11 I'm sorry, that sounds a little crazy. It's not good if you're white or you're Indian. And you know what's crazy? Nori, if you remember, and this shows you that both you and I are both huge D-Nice fans. Like, this is not something new. That when you came to my studio in Kendall, and I are both huge D-Nice fans. Like, this is not something new. That when you came to my studio in Kendall
Starting point is 00:50:27 and you was like, yo E, let's do the most hip-hop shit you could think of. The first joint that we remixed was My Name is D-Nice. Right. Oh, wow. My Name is N-O. Wow.
Starting point is 00:50:42 I love that record. You love that record. Put that out. Put that out now. Wow. Because I love that record. You love that record. Oh, EFN, put that out. Put that out now. Yo. Oh, yeah, yeah. D-Nice, though. That's hard. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:50:52 D-Nice, though. Yo, EFN, when I get to the real drink champs, meaning not, this is real, but I get to sit down with my own bottle and really talk. Me and Nori got some stories, bro. Nah, I can't wait, man. I can't wait, brother. I've been waiting. I'm telling you,
Starting point is 00:51:11 I've been wanting to talk to you, man. I've been waiting. I'm working on myself. I'm trying to make myself more popular so that Nori could give the green light and I'm going to get on big. Nah, nah.
Starting point is 00:51:19 Don't even talk like that. Don't talk crazy like that. You're automatic. You good. You good. And my boy, Drain Flix over here, he definitely a fan of your work,
Starting point is 00:51:27 of your photography work. How about that? By the way, the best thing that happened... Best thing that happened on the quarantine, me being able to work on my book, man. Because I needed the time just to do nothing else. It's a photography book?
Starting point is 00:51:43 Yeah, it's a coffee table book coming on Random House, Penguin. So Rock Nation has a book company, a publishing company rather, called Rock Lit 101. So I'm on there. So the book will be coming top of 2021. Dope, dope.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Looking forward to that. Nori's in there. A lot of people's in there. Goddamn, man. Goddamn, that. Nori's in there. A lot of people's in there. God damn. God damn. Yo, Lenny, man. A lot of people don't know. For the people that don't know, Lenny is a person that makes moves happen. He is a genuine person.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Try. He don't fuck with you because you hot. He fuck with you because he fuck with you. And I'm here to test that. I'm not here to, you know, I'm here to attest that. Like, you know, I am not Roc Nation, but I'm Roc Nation, but I'm not Roc Nation.
Starting point is 00:52:32 You know what I'm saying? Because I fuck with all of them. But if an opportunity comes towards me, Lenny would throw it towards me. Lenny is not that. A lot of people perceive him in certain different ways. And, you know, that's cool for how you perceive him, but I got to tell you how I perceive him in certain different ways. And, you know, that's cool for how you perceive him. But I got to tell you how I perceive him.
Starting point is 00:52:47 He's always been a brother to me. He's lent me a car when I was trying to, you know, get a little something, something, something from a lot of people. We're going to talk about that later. You know what I mean? And when I told him I was going to be there at 8 o'clock in the morning, I was there at 8 o'clock in the morning. I've never been a rapper. I've always been a person that's about my word and Lenny could attest to that.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Lenny's a great guy in me and my caliber and my people and he should be saluted and that's what Drink Champs is about. It's always saluting the people while they're here. I hate when people salute people afterwards. Listen, man. You know,
Starting point is 00:53:22 me watching Teddy Riley and Pharrell I mean know me watching teddy riley and for real i mean me me watching teddy riley and babyface go at it i actually had to call for real he didn't pick up but i called for real and i was like i understand with you because like you know teddy was just extra you know like he just couldn't just put on his fucking phone at first. And when I looked at that, I said, that's exactly who my motherfucking friend is. That's exactly who Pharrell is. And it was amazing to me because that's real shit. Like that's real shit. Sometimes when you understand and you understand where a person comes from, you understand who they are now.
Starting point is 00:54:01 And I understand exactly where Lenny comes from. And I understand exactly who Lenny come from and I understand exactly who Lenny is now. And in case I never told you, I'm proud of you, man. I want you to keep going. I want you to continue. Don't you ever...
Starting point is 00:54:15 Because the only way you can combat your haters is to be unsuccessful. So if you ever want your haters to stop talking, then just stop being successful. I think you just start losing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:24 You ain't going to do that. You ain't going to do that. You ain't going to do that. It's never going to happen. It's never going to happen. Ever. Ever. They can keep trying. They can keep talking.
Starting point is 00:54:39 It's never going to happen. Leave it alone, man. And continue to do your thing, man. In room, hopefully in real life. Is that t-shirts to the upper right? Is that a t-shirt? Supreme t-shirt to the upper right?
Starting point is 00:54:55 Yeah, like the t-shirt, the boxers, the tank tops, you know what I'm saying? It's just little gifts here and there, little Supreme. You know, I got or whatever, you know what I'm saying? It's just little gifts here and there, little Supreme. You know, I got Drain Flix.
Starting point is 00:55:10 That's all I got. You're repping Drain Flix over here, Drain. You know I'm repping Drain Flix? I'm repping Fatherhood. I've got a couple of things. I've got to go back. Let's talk some more in the back. Yes, man. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:55:22 You got a hatchet? What is that? It's a little hatchet. It's for the firewood. And then if I want to work out, if I want to work out, I use this five pound weight. It's a supreme weight.
Starting point is 00:55:35 You know what I mean? Is that gold? Yeah, it's a little gold. I'm going to do some work around the house. I have a supreme toolkit. Jesus Christmas. It's just, you know what I mean? Whatever. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:55:49 It is Supreme. Just little gadgets, you know what I'm saying? The kid said it's not working. You hot, nigga? Yo, thank you. Hopefully I make it to the real Dream Champs in person. Of course you will, man. Get it. Yo, Kelly, we ready, man. Come on, man. It's family. Yo, Kelly's waiting on y' will, man. My brother. Yo, Cali, we ready, man.
Starting point is 00:56:05 Come on, man. It's family, man. Yo, Cali's waiting on y'all, man. Nah, nah, nah. Don't say that. It's home team, man. Yo, Nori got to give the green light. There's Nori giving conspiracy theories about me and Cali.
Starting point is 00:56:13 You need to tell him to stop, man. Cali called me and said, Lenny, set it up with drink champs, right? I called Nori, said, nah, we wanted to do it before, but too much time passed, so we just going to chill. And I was like, all right. I've been hounding Patty, and I feel bad that I keep hounding her. I got you. We got you. We got you.
Starting point is 00:56:32 By the way, Nori is at Khaled's house more than me. He could have recorded Drink Champs at the house. I hit Nori, and I'm like, yo, go to Khaled's house tonight. He's having dinner. Nori goes. He Go to Khaled's house tonight he's having dinner Nori goes
Starting point is 00:56:46 He's at Khaled's house more than me I'll address that I'll say that The thing is I can't let him come across Like he's bigger than anybody else The thing is Even though Khaled is the biggest
Starting point is 00:57:04 Khaled's for the people Khaled is the biggest, right? Khaled's for the people. Khaled's for the people. First. Then second and third. Then second and third, we'll go to the house. We'll go to the yacht. But the first, and especially at that time.
Starting point is 00:57:16 At that time, it would have not been. I would rather have the best look. Because you know who I would have been calling? You would have been calling me. You know, you know, you know, Roc Nation would have been calling me. So everybody would be like, you made him look crazy.
Starting point is 00:57:32 You made him look like he's bigger. Nah, nah, nah. He's bigger than everybody. He's ready. He wants to do it. You want to do it. Album's coming to him. You want to do it, man.
Starting point is 00:57:39 And look, tell him this, and just tell him this. Him and Nori can talk all that rich shit all they want, but I want, we home team. Me and Khaled, we go back. We rep Miami and we got to continue to represent Miami and I want to do it on our platform here
Starting point is 00:57:53 and just do it right. But you know what, EFN, the only thing is Khaled is always trying to keep up with Nori and Nori's so rich. It's hard. Khaled's trying to keep up with him and the condos and the high-rises. Oh, Kiss is here. I'm out. I'm out.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Yo, Kiss! Kiss is here? Yeah, he's over there. Kiss is there. Hey, Kiss. Yo, bro. Kiss is in his fucking movie room, I think. Damn.
Starting point is 00:58:24 Kiss. What a life. Yo, I ain, I think. Damn. Kiss. What a life. I ain't going to lie. Cut it out. Yo, Kiss. Every time I see that room, I just think about all about the Benjamins. Turn it sideways. Turn it sideways. Turn it sideways.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Every time I see... Turn your shit sideways, Kiss. Like this. Letty, big up, man. You the brother. Yo, you ready, Kiss? See you at Seoul. Hold on, Sonny. Every time I see that room, man. You the brother. Yeah, you ready, Kiss? See you at Seoul. Hold on, Sonny.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Every time I see that room, I think about Pump First and All About the Benjamins. I feel like that's like, when you wrote Pump First for All About the Benjamins, it was right there. Like, ah.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Right in that room? Yeah. Kiss him out. I know it's your time. Kiss him out. That's fucked up, Dory. Peace. No, that's not, bro.
Starting point is 00:59:06 That's real. What you say? Kiss. What's up? What's up, my G's? It was good. This is my Breon. This is my Breon. That's my guy. That's my guy.
Starting point is 00:59:27 That's my guy. Six feet of separation, y'all. Y'all getting sick over there, man. He about to get kicked out. Yo, Kiss, what's going on, man? Ain't shit, man. You know, in the crib, quarantining, going crazy like the rest. Quarantine champs.
Starting point is 00:59:56 Yeah, quarantine champs. I've been drinking wine. I've been playing the gym teacher for my twins, homeschooling. My wife's been doing a great job being a teacher. I've been a gym teacher. Probably watched every Drink Champs. Probably watched every... Probably saw...
Starting point is 01:00:21 That's the best plug ever. I'm going crazy in here But you know it's good crazy It's the first time I can smoke in the crib like that No doubt I'm using drink Everybody get a pass Everybody get a pass
Starting point is 01:00:39 I got spray everywhere So a lot of people don't understand that Jadakiss is a real fog. Like, they just think that you sell drugs all day because of your balls. I don't even see it. That's the old me. I did that so the kids won't have to do it. Huh? I did that so the kids won't have to do it.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Try to get them a better life. You know? So tell them what's possible. Because I heard my son say he want a new teacher for next year. Like, he wasn't fucking with me. Is your kid's... You was homeschooling your kid, Nori? I last about 12
Starting point is 01:01:29 seconds. It didn't work out. I think it's crazy. I couldn't understand his shit neither. Yeah, they should give niggas' moms half of the teacher's salary. Real talk.
Starting point is 01:01:44 Work. You know what I mean? It's a lot. They should give niggas' moms half of the teacher's salary. Real talk. You know what I mean? It's a lot. And I salute my sons for even staying focused, knocking that workout with the cabin fever. How old are your kids, kids? They're five. The ones that's doing the homeschooling is five. Five and four.
Starting point is 01:02:05 My daughter, she ain't here, but she's at school. She's doing the schooling, too, along with those of my three youngest. Yeah, that cabin fever is real. I got a toddler at home, and that shit is no joke. Good, we got a little backyard. They can go outside and run a little bit around the neighborhood, around the community or where the crib is at.
Starting point is 01:02:31 Social distancing. But shit is insane. It never been. This year is definitely going down in history for bad end for somewhat some type of history. Because nobody that lived this
Starting point is 01:02:45 year will never forget this shit. Yep. That's right. Ever seen the chick that you know got a train on her? Like you ever seen the chick and you're like, she killed her. A nigga ran a train on her. What?
Starting point is 01:03:00 What a segue. Where did this segue come from? Did you hear what we were talking about prior to this? This thing is nuts. What are you talking about? I've seen a lot of them. I've seen a lot of them. I see a lot of them in passing
Starting point is 01:03:25 you know when you look at the chicks like 2020 gonna be like that miss fuck anybody oh shit I'm so sorry I'm so sorry Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:03:47 I'm so sorry, man. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. So, Jadakiss. What's up, brother? Phenomenal fucking album, bro. I'm so sorry. I know I said it on your Instagram live because I was really holding it
Starting point is 01:04:00 because I wanted for this moment. And even right now, this moment is not as luxurious as I want it because I really for this moment and even right now this moment is not as luxurious as I wanted because I really want to tell you how much you keep giving it real like you know with the birth of Griselda
Starting point is 01:04:15 and everything and you know everything that you put into this album just now Ignite-ish right Ignation that's Ice Pick J. His real name, yeah. Yep. His real name.
Starting point is 01:04:30 That's my nigga. You know, I seen him holding down for well, I seen him in different spaces, like in life. And I admire you for, you know, one, for saluting your man. Two, for making a great project., one, for saluting your man, two,
Starting point is 01:04:46 for making a great project, and three, for making sure that it was a perfect project. No doubt. I don't see no flaws in that album. I don't see no flaws in that album, and I've been looking for it just because you're my man
Starting point is 01:05:00 just to critique it. And you probably made almost a five-mic album now, now, when five mics don't matter. Why did you put so much in your musical? You know what I'm saying? Like, you could have did, you know, four great things. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:20 No, just to, you know, I wanted to honor him in the proper light pick, ice pick. I wanted to, you know, he was the dude out of the crew that give you the button up with the converse, with the jeans and the nice jacket. You know what I mean? You could tell he was a part of us, but he was different. So I wanted to make it more grown and more musical since I was representing him. You know what I mean? And that's basically it. I did a lot of things he wanted me to do as far as post-production
Starting point is 01:05:58 and getting strings and chords and instruments played over. That was all things that he always asked me to do and I thought it was appropriate to do it. You know what I mean? Since the project was being dedicated to him. Paying homage. Yeah. That's dope. What a beautiful fucking project.
Starting point is 01:06:18 Everybody make some noise for the motherfucker. Yeah! Yeah! Come on. Everybody come on. Here's the 101 smoke right now, J.D. Kidd. We had DMX on earlier. Starting point is 01:06:46 people on early and everybody wanted to smoke with somebody particular. Except for Fat Joe. Fat Joe said he don't want to smoke. Yeah, Fat Joe didn't want him to do none of that. Does Jadakiss want you? Do you want smoke or you'll take whoever want to compete with you?
Starting point is 01:07:02 If need be. Or you want smoke. For sport. For sport, obviously. He's an athlete. He wants smoke. I want to hear this. I mean, if it's right,
Starting point is 01:07:19 but some of them, maybe one or two of them wasn't right. But if it's right. Who did they compare you with, Kiss? I don't know. You did the first. I heard Kiss against Jeezy. With Jeezy? You said Kiss against Jeezy?

It'd be definitely friendly. But I gotta just get all my music. I don't got,
Starting point is 01:12:41 you know, I'm computer stupid. I don't got all my music. I would have to get in touch with Greenland, Clue, Swiss, and get everything right. And I'll go against whoever they put me against, really. I'm going to be honest, Kiss. I know you're downplaying it. I know you're like, you know, trying to be humble,
Starting point is 01:13:03 but you don't need to get your music together your shit is on iTunes that's real you could create a playlist for yourself not all the songs that I want to play not everything that I want to play is on iTunes
Starting point is 01:13:19 cause they I mean if you're doing it like that that's cool, if you be doing it like that, that's cool then. I'll be honest with you. If you're going against Lil Fame from M.O.P., that's something different. If you're going against motherfucking Jeezy, all your hits is already available. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:13:40 But if you're going against Lil Fame, that was respect to him. You know what I mean? It's like you got to go on your underground back. I think you'll knock yourselves out. All of them is available. I think your son in the background can pull those all up.
Starting point is 01:13:55 What you think? I mean, those is them. That's cool. That deals with Interscope and Def Jam. Yeah, it hits with Interscope and Def Jam. Yeah, I'd hit you in a scope and depth in. Nori acting like the promoter right now. But, let me ask you this.
Starting point is 01:14:11 You there? Nori King. Let's go Nori King. What happened? Oh, I'm sorry. Let me ask you this because the thing about it is this. You so loved and you so respected, I can't put you against anybody
Starting point is 01:14:30 that ain't going to love and respect your legacy. Like, I took a total... I didn't like it. Not because I don't like any of both of them. I've met him. French is my man. I've met Young Thug and I thought he was a cool dude. But it's how it turned.
Starting point is 01:14:56 Do you agree? It turned so fast. Did you see what happened? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, coming from where we come from, it takes a millisecond to make everything go wrong. Or, you know, some dude that feels some kind of way and everything could go left like that.
Starting point is 01:15:20 Because I think they should squash that, whatever they got, or try to fix that. But in the same token, when you put it through Swiss in them, it keeps it clean. It keeps it... That's what they were saying. It keeps it the drunk shit talking. And it just stays right there. It don't really get too Persian. What happened?
Starting point is 01:15:50 Just say yes Let's Swiss or Timberland Yeah Because yes, because I feel like I feel like kiss you me, after Sean Garrett and Dream went to Alaska, the nigga off Sean Garrett told him, you know, I don't know what he said. It was, yes. And I said, I'm uncomfortable, dude.
Starting point is 01:16:20 And then after that, and after that, I feel like Swiss and Timberland screen niggas, you know what I mean? But they actually make sure that we good. At the end of the day, you can't be battling a nigga
Starting point is 01:16:35 that's going to say something crazy to you. You know what I'm saying? Facts. What you feel about that? Nah, you right. And when it go through Swiss and Tim, it gets the, you know, it gets frisked. Yeah, it gets filtered.
Starting point is 01:16:49 The situation gets filtered and they tell you the mannerisms, how to act accordingly, you know, before they hit live, before they go live. It's like the pros. They going through the pros. Yeah. There's rules and regulations. Definitely. I think as long as it goes through, it'll stay clean.
Starting point is 01:17:10 But as soon as dudes start calling dudes out on their own, it could go like in French joint. Go anywhere. It's miskin' screw. Yeah, and we don't want that, bro. Nah, we don't want that at all. We don't need that.
Starting point is 01:17:28 This is going good for the culture. Because, so we have to ask, because the rumors is out there, was this your last album on death jet? I don't know. I think I owe one more. One or two more, though. I'm going to complete the contract.
Starting point is 01:17:49 I'm going to fulfill my, you know. Your duties and obligations. I'm going to do it honorably and fulfill the contract. As long as they fulfill their end, too. Or you might get that new job. You might be the new L.A. If that happened, I ain't never... I'm staying there forever.
Starting point is 01:18:10 Throw that in the atmosphere, because I'm going to be honest. What's this nigga name? The Rosenberg nigga? Paul Rosenberg. Yeah, Paul. Paul Rosenberg, my nigga. Come on, my nigga. Who's more Def Jam? Me or him?
Starting point is 01:18:24 Who got more Deedas in their closet? Me or him? I love Paul Rosenberg, my nigga, come on, my nigga. Who's more Def Jam, me or him? Nigga, who got more Deedas in their closet, me or him? I love Paul Rosenberg, whatever his nigga name. But he blocked drink champs. And God bless him because he's very rich and he got what he do. But if y'all give him a chance, give me Fat Joe or Irv Gotti or somebody a motherfucking chance. I'm going to tell you, man, you let me in that motherfucking building, we're going to be running there like Martians. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:18:49 I'm going to be, pimp, pimp, pimp, pimp, pimp, pimp, pimp, pimp. You know what I mean? For real, we're going to sign that title. I'm bullshit. I don't think they're never going to give me a job. I don't think they're never going to give me a job. Hey, don't say that. You never know.
Starting point is 01:19:01 Don't say that shit. I'll be there next month. You know what? And that's very true. That's real. But Jadakiss, so what's the next move right now? Because right now everyone is
Starting point is 01:19:13 saying, what is the next thing? Everyone is on IG Live. Everyone is fiending for the next move. What do you feel like Jadakiss' next move is? The wait till this shit is over. So I'll be going on a
Starting point is 01:19:32 vacation, man. And then I'll figure out my next move. A vacation from a vacation. I'll figure out my next move under some palm trees and somewhere a nice, a nice expensive
Starting point is 01:19:47 accommodation. I figure the next move out. But the Lox album is coming out. The Lox and the documentary, that's next. That's next in line. There's a name to that album? Y'all got a title?
Starting point is 01:20:01 L.O.S. Living Off Experience. Self-titled. And how about the documentary? What's the name of the documentary? We ain't really getting a name for that yet. That shit's a tip.
Starting point is 01:20:14 Shit's real shit. Mika Pone and Traj is doing a documentary finally about the War Report experience. And I just finally locked in the name. I'm not going to say it now. You know, we had, you know, because I don't know if you know, Jada,
Starting point is 01:20:32 but for 20 years, people thought that Traj, you know, wrote the box. So you there? You there? Yeah, I'm there. So the other day we did a Zoom. We did a Zoom with me, Traj, I'm there. So the other day we did a Zoom. We did a Zoom with me, Traj, and Capone. Because, you know, I took it a little personal.
Starting point is 01:20:51 Traj is my man. I love the nigga, you know what I mean? But I feel like he ain't never say no. Like, nigga, if there's a rumor about you fucking Rihanna, it's not like you spreaded the rumor, but you know you ain't fucked Rihanna, my nigga. You got to see,
Starting point is 01:21:06 no. The next interview you do, you got to be like, I ain't fucked Rihanna. Yeah, facts. So for 20 years, he never actually,
Starting point is 01:21:16 he cleaned it up. So the other day, we did a Zoom live. We had everybody tune in and, you know, we got to the bottom line of it and it was great. And it was great.
Starting point is 01:21:26 And it was great. Hold on, hold on. And it was great. But I wanted the people to see that. And it was his choice. But it was dope. And now we're going to come together and we're going to, you know. One of the first times I met Jay Da Kiss, that nigga said,
Starting point is 01:21:46 nigga, I know my team pushed Keys to the Patamaka. I looked at this nigga, I said, he's pushing it by you, this is my demo tape. That shit, dog. We got a hole in that. I still don't know how you got the hole
Starting point is 01:22:03 of the demo tape. That's not even out. It's never been public. How do you have it? We had that in Y.O. That shit was crazy, dog. We said, these niggas is coming with that shit. That shit was in heavy rotation in our cribs and then the whips in front of the building and front of the store.
Starting point is 01:22:30 That was heavy rotation. So, you know, it was big, big respect. Once we got a chance to link up, we already knew what it was in for. All right. Sonny got one for you. Hey, Kiss. Sonny, what's up, man? Let me get a shot.
Starting point is 01:22:50 Let me take a shot right now. All right. I know you undefeated against me. Don't spill that shit, son. You feel like you're about to spill. Listen, every time I bet against Kiss, I'm the one out. This is a fact. Yeah, dog.
Starting point is 01:23:09 You good? You do get back. And you can definitely. Because I know you got online. KissGam right now. Dot. Online.com. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:21 No, no, no, no. What I'm saying is, when do you think you're going to get back the online betting? Is it looking good? Is it not looking good? Online betting never stops. Online booking is lit.
Starting point is 01:23:37 The casino is the casino. You can bet in the casino. The sports betting is down, but you can still bet online casino. You know what I mean? Sports betting, I don't know. I think football might be the first time we get back. What you think about this draft?
Starting point is 01:24:00 Who do you think had the best draft? That's the one question that I ask because it does affect the bet in a lot. Who do you think had the best draft? First two rounds or first round. What do you think? I like the Redskins got Chase Young. Who else though?
Starting point is 01:24:23 Who's going to be? I think Chase. I think the Redskins, the Dolphins, and Cincinnati Bengals. Listen, man. All I know is, listen, man, I never won a goddamn dollar and going up against you. The way it's... Don't say that, because now niggas ain't going to bet against you. You can't say that. That's why you got to holler at them.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Bet against. You got to use those promo days. Online betting. Yeah. I ain't going to have a testimony. What a total shala. Freak. I bet it dot y'all. I bet with them. Bet with Jadakiss. That's the beauty of it.
Starting point is 01:25:14 Bet with me, man. I put on some Dracar. I don't know what. Feel good. I've been farting this whole time, Jadakiss. Oh, this thing is crazy. Camera. Camera. Shit. They ain't even trying to protect
Starting point is 01:25:32 themselves from COVID. They just trying to protect themselves from my farts at this point. My skin is a little crazy. You had his fucking mask on? Yeah, he just listened. He listened. I've been farting crazy since the start. That was a target. I've been far. I was going to tell you.
Starting point is 01:25:46 I love it. I love it. What is it? Yo. Yo, J.D. Kiss, man. I can't. Yo, wait, wait. E.F. in his back.
Starting point is 01:25:58 E.F. in his back. My bad. Had to go to the bathroom. We back, E? Yes, sir. No, you deserve it. I deserve the bathroom. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 01:26:17 Online betting. What is it? Online betting what? Online casino. Mybookie.ag Online betting. Online casino. Mybookie.ag, online betting, online casino. But that's yours? That's Sonny's hooked on that? I believe in whatever
Starting point is 01:26:33 Sonny's doing. Oh, so Sonny's definitely gave you a lot of money already. What I mean? Listen, whatever it is, I'm not going to get kissed. That's all I've got to say. Sonny is my...
Starting point is 01:26:51 Randy, you're not in the podcast. I'm talking. Oh, sorry, sorry. Get a kiss. Hold up, man. You know, we had the saucy party with Jim Jones. Yeah. 420.
Starting point is 01:27:11 Do you think life will ever be normal? Or this is how life is going to be from now on? Like this. I think it's going to go back to like 60, 40, 70, 30. Like when they open it up, dudes like us, we'll go to restaurants and drink wine and stuff together. But these other dudes, some people is going to always keep a shield up and wearing gloves and masks and doing. It's going to be like China. It's going to be the way it is in China. It's never going to get all the way back to before this shit.
Starting point is 01:27:55 It's never be like that again, I don't think. We used to look at people in Asia crazy wearing the masks and shit. And now it's going to be us. It's going to be. That's what I think. Yeah. You put on hand sanitizer right now. That's what I think. Yeah. You put on hand sanitizer right now? Sonny gave you the hand sanitizer? Sanitize, man. Let me have a little
Starting point is 01:28:13 sanitizer. Let me put some on right now. A little sanitizer. Oh, my God. Man, everybody doing this. You should sanitize Sonny, though. Got to sanitize.
Starting point is 01:28:29 And Jadakiss, I don't mean to be disrespectful with this, but I have to ask, because this is a three-man crew. I've seen this three-man crew ballot. People dead seriously saying Migos against the Lox. That's different, man. I got 10,000 Lox. That's one that I wouldn't do. I don't even think that makes sense.
Starting point is 01:28:55 It might get disrespectful from the fans. And people close to us might start saying crazy shit with that. You know what I mean? Yeah. It could start a civil war. Yeah, it could start a timeline, an age war, too.
Starting point is 01:29:17 Yeah, I think if you're going to go three for three, it got to be bars for bars. Like people who similarly are hitting the mic the same way. On live, Benny. On live, God. I think it's Trey. Is Sonny sleeping over? No.
Starting point is 01:29:41 He's getting kicked out. You gotta go. Where's Mr. Lee at? Mr. Lee ain't there. Mr. Lee's at Sonny's house. I'm back to Mr. Lee. Mr. Lee would have been in here telling people in the background to be quiet.
Starting point is 01:30:05 Well, daddy, you got to relax. Daddy, turn off your telephone. Meanwhile, he has his on. Great guy. That's my brother for life. No, we love Lee. We love Lee. We love Lee.
Starting point is 01:30:22 Lee is drink chat. Yeah, Lee is drink champs. Yo, Jay Da Kiss, man. Once again, man, thank you for taking the time out. I think this is like your 17th time on drink champs. He is drink champs. The lock is drink champs. I got the most appearances.
Starting point is 01:30:37 Let's make some noise for that. Hey! Yo, we salute you, man. Salute. You know that. I love y'all. My brothers for life, man. Salute. You know that. I love y'all. My brothers for life, man. Stay sanitized.
Starting point is 01:30:49 Thank you so much. Shit is over. I'm going to drink some bottles of wine and celebrate, you know. Yes, sir. Love. And the only thing I ask you is just one time, Jadakiss, Jadakiss, one time. Please, let's erase the story from when the time I drank Tiger Bone and I jumped on the bitch.
Starting point is 01:31:09 That's out of here. That's out of here. EFA, that's out of here. You my witness. That's out of here. Until we film the movie, until we film the movie, Jadakiss, you can't tell the story no more.
Starting point is 01:31:24 You don't film no more. You definitely got to put that somewhere. You definitely got to go to the movie. Tell me for the movie. You can't tell the story no more. You definitely got to put that story no more. All right. You got my word on it. Love you, baby. Peace. That was all.
Starting point is 01:31:47 And Styles, hey! Hey! What's going on? Yeah, you hear? You can hear us? Yeah, I can hear you, I think. You hear us? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:01 Yeah, sure. Yo, Styles, give me your phone. Give me your phone. My phone sucks. I mean, be careful. I look like he's driving. Yeah, sure. My phone sucks. I mean, be careful. I look like he's driving. I definitely am. Yeah, we don't want you to... Don't get hurt driving, man.
Starting point is 01:32:15 No, I'm parked. I'm double parked. All right, parked is good. I didn't turn the blinkers off. I did. What happened to my volume? It sucks. Can you hear me?
Starting point is 01:32:32 Yeah, we can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. Can you hear us? I don't know what's happening. Yeah. My volume is dumb low. Can you hear me?
Starting point is 01:32:46 I can hear you. I can hear you good. Can you hear us? I can hear you, but that shit sound low. Fucking bullshit shit. My phone. I need a 10. My shit is on 8 or something, dog.
Starting point is 01:33:06 How y'all doing? What's good? How you doing? Hold on, trying to do some awk shit See if that works We hear you fine, though Oh, I couldn't hear y'all, though No, okay, because we hear you fine I can hear y'all now, too
Starting point is 01:33:20 We might need your camera angle to flip, though I flipped it sideways, like you said. Yeah, but you might have it locked, though. What do you mean by that? Let me see here. How can I lock my camera angle? You see the joint right here? If you lock that shit, if it's locked,
Starting point is 01:33:40 then that means it's never going to flip. Oh, you trying to do some never going to flip. Oh, you trying to do some new shit to me, effing? You just showed me some other shit. What the fuck does that even mean? I don't even know how to get to that. Look, come back, come back.
Starting point is 01:33:59 I tried to get to that shit. Hold on. Swipe from the joint up here. Like, go like that. Like what? Look, hold on. Just swipe down.
Starting point is 01:34:15 I did that. I swiped. And you don't see those different things? Hold on. Hold on. I got somebody young. Hold on. Hold on one second.
Starting point is 01:34:24 Hold on, Kel. No, come in. Come in. I need you young. Hold on. Hold on one second. Hold on, Kel. No, come in. Come in. I need you. I need you. I need you. Fucking shit. We should record all this shit. Swipe down. Do this shit they saying to do. They saying my camera angle ain't right. Swipe the joint down. And if this shit is locked, unlock it.
Starting point is 01:34:46 This shit. Fuck, where's that thing at, man? It should be there somewhere. I'm swiping down. I'm swiping. I'm fucking swiping. What is he saying is locked? It's this right here.
Starting point is 01:35:02 Now you... What the fuck? I never locked that shit, dog. That wasn't even me who locked it. You see? You see? Someone locked you up. You know what I mean? What's good? What's good, family? Thank you, bro. No, please. I'm going to go around.
Starting point is 01:35:18 Let me get a three and you can just drop it in. All right. Good looking. Let me get a half of... All right. Cool., good looking. Let me get a half. All right, cool. Half a three. Yeah, half a five. Yeah, three or half a five. Two and a half or three.
Starting point is 01:35:32 Either or. Yo, yo. Yo, yo. This is serious. These facts are serious. We're going to spread some. serious. These facts are serious. What are the facts? What, you going to get some buzz?
Starting point is 01:35:50 You're making me feel like I'm in the hospital right now. Huh? You going to get some buzz? I got the buzz. I got the buzz. I didn't want more buzz. I just wanted a little bit of buzz. I didn't want that much more wanted a little bit of bark I didn't want that much more
Starting point is 01:36:05 You know what I mean I wanted like a Half a shot you know What's good That's beautiful man That's beautiful man Yeah so How you been holding up, man?
Starting point is 01:36:25 Because I heard earlier, well, through your Twitter, I believe. That's my friend Sonny. He's disrespectful. But that you thought you had the coronavirus early. Yeah, I've been telling everybody that shit. You really thought you had it? Yeah, for a fact. A thousand percent.
Starting point is 01:36:45 I was fucked up early January. I don't know what happened. I went home one day. I had a horrible fever, bad shivers, a cough, but nothing was coming up. I was sweating. I was tired. I think it had to be that
Starting point is 01:37:03 because I usually have a fever. Or when I get sick, it's like 36 hours tops. So it was like on the second night or the third night I was telling my wife, I think I may got to go to the hospital, man. This is some other shit. And I'm totally against going to the hospital.
Starting point is 01:37:20 Right. Unless I absolutely need to go to the hospital. But I was like, you know what? I'm going to try to do I'm going to keep sweating it out, keep sleeping in sweatsuits and just keep drinking oil juice, oil tea, black seed oil, oil of oregano,
Starting point is 01:37:36 super lysine, andrographis, vitamin C, red ginseng. I did ginger, limes, turmeric, juice, and lemons. Then I threw the cayenne pepper on top. So I just got on everything that I kind of knew to do before I actually, you know, checked into the hospital.
Starting point is 01:37:57 But then, you know, I knew I had it. A lot of us don't watch the news. We got to really start watching the news. Cuomo, if you remember early coronavirus, Cuomo came out and said thousands of us have it. Then if you even pay attention to more news, thank you, bro. I love you. I'm going to hit you tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:38:13 If you pay attention to more news, there's a lot of doctors that tell you 80% of us carry that virus anyway. And the kids. And the kids too. What the... I love you, baby. I appreciate you the kids, too. What the... Good. I love you, baby. I appreciate you.
Starting point is 01:38:29 Alright, cool. So, I think everybody... We got to really start paying attention to the other shit, too. You heard? Am I here? Yeah, we hear you. Alright, cool. So, when you started taking all that stuff, you didn't stop taking it. Did you start at some point taking all the different things?
Starting point is 01:38:53 No, I always take some of the stuff, but I don't take all of the stuff. So you like ramped it up at some point? Yeah, I super ramped it up. Because one, I thought maybe maybe just from me getting sick, it shocked the shit out of me. It scared the shit out of me and I was feeling horrible. So after the two days,
Starting point is 01:39:15 like I told you, when it got to the third day and I still felt horrible and I wasn't used to that, then I just super went in and I all the way ramped it up. So how long before you started feeling better? How many days you think of doing your own treatment? It took me two weeks to start
Starting point is 01:39:32 feeling better. Oh shit, so it took a minute. It took me a week to start feeling better, but it took me two weeks to feel like I was 100, though. And you kept doing that same treatment for the two weeks yeah I kept doing it I kept juicing well after a week I started eating again but the first few days you fasted like juice I just went yeah I did a juice cleanse I did a juice and um pardon me I'm fucking high y'all caught me off guard i did a juice now you good the information is worth all of this i did it like a green juice fruit juice veggie juice and ginger tea cleanse like i didn't want no um no food in me like that i wanted to make sure i was um putting the things in where i know
Starting point is 01:40:19 i could sweat like you know what i mean where my body was flushing and a lot of water too. A lot of alkaline water. Just basically, I was going to the basics. A lot of us, we don't know about this shit, but this is all shit our ancestors or grandparents, great grandparents or the places we originally come from.
Starting point is 01:40:41 These are things that work for them people. I'm not against people going to the doctor or Western medicine, but I think a lot of us don't pay attention to what we put in our body. Oh, shit. Pardon me. Put in our body in the first place. We don't know about inflammation. We don't know what
Starting point is 01:40:57 sugar does to us. We don't know what salt does to us. We don't look up the shit we eat. It's all toxins. All the food we eat is toxins. You got to watch the shit you eating. You got to look at it. I try to approach everything from layman's terms. One, I'm a lucky
Starting point is 01:41:16 guy to be married to a good wife. You know what I mean? We try to keep me on point with my health. We try to hold each other down with that. I basically try to look at everything from layman's terms. Like, if you wash your ass, your balls, ladies, your private part, your feet,
Starting point is 01:41:36 your mouth, your underarms, and the whole rest of your body multiple times a day, as much as you can if possible, but how many of us worry about the inside side right like you know what I mean so it's not you know the inside yeah flushing in the inside so when you go y'all clean the outside of my body a lot but when's the last time I clean the inside of my body I
Starting point is 01:41:57 think that starts it starts hitting you in a different light and in a different way so um I'm just from on like the, you know, I lost a lot of weight incorporating juice in my life and plant-based things. Besides the weight, it was really like, you know, I had eczema. I had post-nasal drip. I had cyanitis.
Starting point is 01:42:19 I had a horrible temper. It was a lot of things that just trying to take care of myself better made me feel better. So you start implementing it more. I think a lot of us think it's healthy shit is like geek shit or like, you know, some nerd shit or you want some healthy shit. But for me, health is the biggest part of survival because mostly poor people is poor people. When you think about it on layman's terms, like I keep saying, it's poor people who don't have health insurance. It's poor people who don't go to the doctor a lot. It's poor communities being hit hardest right now with COVID-19.
Starting point is 01:42:56 So if you don't have those those things, then you got to definitely say, I got to do my best to take care of myself on my own terms and to try to get the longest run I possibly could get out of my body. That's real. Absolutely. Let me ask you something. You ever done the saltwater flush?
Starting point is 01:43:22 No. You don't believe in that at all? I ain't saying I don't believe in it. I've never done it. I've never tried it. For me, to let everybody know too, I do a juice cleanse. I actually took the juice cleanse from DrYourself.com. You can look it up on DrYourself.com.
Starting point is 01:43:44 It's the 21 day juice cleanse. It's about eight days of juicing. After you come off those eight days, then you do about three days of soup, light fruit salads. I don't eat dairy,
Starting point is 01:44:00 so coconut yogurts and soft stuff. Then you do another 10 days of eating mostly raw foods. Like even people who eat chicken and fish, like you'll have your grilled chicken, your grilled fish. And then you have the rest of your plates, like your raw greens, some beets, onions and all of that, but not cooked. So you do 10 days of that. So by the time you do that, you're pretty much cleansing. While I do it, I like to
Starting point is 01:44:27 hit the bike or try to do cardio while I'm doing it to make sure I sweat extra. But then you got to also make sure you hydrate it, drink your alkaline water, basically your water with lemon or lime in it. There's many different ways to do it.
Starting point is 01:44:43 I'm no guru. I'm no doctor. You never done the master cleanse? I've tried that before. Before that, I think once I went plant-based, I don't think I need the same cleanse as everybody else. I've done a master cleanse before,
Starting point is 01:44:59 but the 21-day cleanse did better by me, so I stick by that. But everybody is different. The master cleanse may work for you better than it works for Nori or me. Right, right. The 21-day cleanse may work better for me. Because we all got different bodies. We all got like, even me.
Starting point is 01:45:17 Different metabolisms. Yeah, I do a plant-based diet, but you don't hear me running around the world telling everybody to be plant-based. I don't know if that'll work for everybody the same exact way it works for me. What I do know is that we all should pay attention to what we put in our bodies. Start using
Starting point is 01:45:36 your phone to look up shit you're eating and what it's doing to you, where it came from, what's happening with it. Like I said, a lot of shit for me is the simplest shit that made me change. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:45:51 One day I thought about it after I first started going plant-based. For me, if I don't know... You eat beef or chicken? I'm a pescatarian. Which one is that? I'm sorry. I'm old school.
Starting point is 01:46:08 Just seafood. Seafood, right? Only because I tried to do vegetarian and I couldn't handle it. Yeah, but just say if you ate if you did eat beef or chicken, right? If somebody go, yo, you had beef or chicken you loved it. The average person I would ask who's watching this right now
Starting point is 01:46:24 like if you had beef or chicken last night, if I asked you last night, most people wouldn't know where it was from. Most people wouldn't know where it was from. I mean, not even the country. You don't know the country. You don't know if it's from the island. Health-minded
Starting point is 01:46:39 people would know that, but most people, think about it. You're up and eating something that you might not know the history of. You don't know if it was male or female, if it was old or young. You know, if that shit was sick and fucked up, if they
Starting point is 01:46:55 treated it very well, like, you know what I mean? So when I started thinking about shit like that, like, damn, I don't know if this fucking cow is from USA, Mexico, Russia, I don't even fucking know. cow is from USA, Mexico, Russia. I don't even fucking know. You know what I mean? So I started feeling safer with like, shit,
Starting point is 01:47:11 I don't know where all the veggies is from either, but I'm cool with eating an apple from almost anywhere. You know what I mean? Hopefully it don't got pesticides on it. And everybody's unsafe if you ain't growing your own shit anyway. I eat plant-based, but I go to Whole Foods for my shit. I go to different supermarkets. I'm not 100% guaranteed that's all safe and not tampered with.
Starting point is 01:47:34 If I would tell you that, I'd be fucking lying because I didn't grow it myself. So with that being said, I like to lower the risk as much as possible. One thing that I would tell people like obviously i would say first of all i'm no model of any health anything but i do like to fast i do like to to to like i said i'm a pescatarian yeah one thing that i can say without a doubt that whenever i fast like juice fast or even water fast but whenever i fast period any kind of fast my my mind's on point my yeah there's clarity like like i could think more clear i could i could i have more energy um even like my sinuses are are done clear i can smell
Starting point is 01:48:23 better i could taste better. I could see better. Everything. And I'm saying within like two days of fasting. That's because you got rid of that inflammation. Yeah. That inflammation. Like, you know, the hard thing about doing this shit right is people think it's not for everybody.
Starting point is 01:48:40 People think healthy shit is for fucking vegans or doctors or know-it-alls and all of that. Being the best you you can be is for everybody. And surviving, especially during these times, God bless. We lost Fred. We lost Fred the Godson, man. Yeah, rest in peace. 35 years old, ill lyricist. We losing people out here. You know what we lost Fred the Godson, man. Yeah, rest in peace. 35 years old. Ill lyricist. Like, you know what I mean? We losing people out here. Like, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:49:09 So it's not just a joke. So you got to take it seriously. It's like, and in hip hop, we lose a lot of people. And I think, you know, we get confused and we get lost because popular shit is the coolest shit ever. Hot shit is the coolest shit. Shit you can laugh at, have fun to, and you know, all of that is TikTok.
Starting point is 01:49:30 Lives, battles, challenges. And I'm for all that shit. Like, you know what I mean? I like having fun. Like, you see, I got a joint role right now. I'm about to hit. But at some point, you got to also say, we got to balance out the survival part. And really keep a G with ourselves
Starting point is 01:49:45 and go, we losing not just rappers, we losing grandmothers, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunt, nieces, neighbors. Rappers, we do get the money and entertainers, we get the money, we stand a chance to live. But if you think about where you came from, most people don't got health insurance or go to the doctor, so we got to just start implementing a little bit of giving a fuck. Absolutely. And are you with us, man?
Starting point is 01:50:13 Oh, I thought he was frozen. I thought he was frozen. No, no, no, no. I'm quiet because I'm listening. You know what I'm saying? I'm listening. I didn't, like, you know, to tell you the truth, I didn't even hear about black seed oil until I started following Pharmacy of Life.
Starting point is 01:50:34 And I did that because when I heard of black seed oil, people was like, yo, you know, that's the good shit to take. And I said, if anybody got black seed oil, it's between GNC and between Pharmacy of Life. that's the good shit to take. And I said, if anybody got black seed or this between GNC and between Pharmacy of Life, I'm taking Pharmacy of Life. So I got, I go in my
Starting point is 01:50:52 bathroom right now and I show you all my Pharmacy of Life shit. I don't call Stylespeed. I don't tell them, like, you'll send me this. I don't do none of that because I'm going to buy a product that I know my man already has. There's no need for me to communicate with him at all. All that's a need for me is to support.
Starting point is 01:51:11 And that's just all what I do from the beginning. Like, it's just like, and it's one, I'm supporting it because it's my boy, but two, I'm supporting it because this is one of the best products on the fucking market. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:51:23 Like you get, what the fuck? Who are you going to trust? Are you going to trust a person from GNC selling you black seed oil? Or are you going to trust fucking Style Speed? A person that's fucking showed you he was big, he was obese at one point, and shows you how
Starting point is 01:51:35 much he's put together. Shows you he had a bad attitude. Shows you he was a foul nigga. Shows you that he is a... Yeah, he's living by example. You know what I'm saying? What better fucking example is that? Like, I don't understand a better example, and he's living it right now.
Starting point is 01:51:55 So why would I ever support any other product or anybody? If he's selling a product, he could be selling fucking soap, and I'm going to say I'm going to fuck with his soap more than I fuck with Dove, because I don't know the niggas that fuck with Dove. I don't know the niggas that make Dove. I don't do that. This is the reason why I always promote Tidal. I always promote Masterpail.
Starting point is 01:52:12 And I also always promote Evolve. Because, you know, regardless of what any type of energy you've got towards any of these owners, we know them. I don't know the people that own Lever 2000. I don't know the people that own Iris Spring. Iris Spring? I don't know the people that own Leave It 2000. I don't know the people that own Iris Spring. I don't know these people. You know what it is with me too, like you're right, you know, I think it's very important for people to understand we got to support our own. But, like, I don't really help nobody. Like, you know, that's why I love and appreciate you. You always cop and show support without even telling me. And you know you're my brother.
Starting point is 01:52:55 You could just hit me. You know I'm going to send it to you because I love you. And you're my brother. But we got to start supporting our own. There's nothing wrong with supporting the other shit. You know what I mean? Like I told somebody today, I own Pharmacy for Life. I'm part owner.
Starting point is 01:53:13 You know what I mean? I'm a co-owner. But I buy other people black seed oil, too. I go to the juice bars and the hood health spots. And I go support because it's going to make them money. I think the most important thing we got to really start looking at is
Starting point is 01:53:30 because we all want to spend money and have a fucking great time and a blast. But if we ain't living and taking care of each other, that shit is almost impossible. You know what I mean? That shit is almost impossible.
Starting point is 01:53:42 Like me, to be honest with y'all, because I'm fucking high and I'm on here right now, had a couple of box shots. Like, you know, like I told you, I ain't... Like, you know me, you know I love to have a fucking great time more than anybody and get stoned. I'm a stoner. I just want to smoke fucking all day
Starting point is 01:54:01 and laugh and smoke and laugh and smoke. But I think as rappers, hip-hop community, like, I don't never harp on nobody else because everybody go through their trials and tribulations and they shit in their lifetime because that's what you're going through. But we got to start helping our fucking people. Like, before
Starting point is 01:54:20 it was all like, whatever, whatever, you helping, you ain't helping. I still ain't judging you whether you helping or not helping, but we got to play some part because poor people are fucked up, bro. In the neighborhoods we live in, we pass by, I'm just being honest. I leave my crib, I go to where it's rich, I go to where all of that is. It's people outside because they want to be outside because it's like, fuck it. We're going to exercise. I'm going to hood. I see people
Starting point is 01:54:50 it's outside because they got to get on a bus. They got to go to work. They can't afford that doctor shit. All the stay at home that everybody else is saying, which is correct. They can't afford some niggas got to go to work or it's a wrap. And I think a lot of us
Starting point is 01:55:05 forget about that once we start making money. We forget about the lower level. Like, I had a homegirl of mine call me. I'm not going to say the company, very big company, you know, with hip-hop. They do a lot of big shit. They called me and, you know, they said, us and this rapper,
Starting point is 01:55:21 we doing this shit and we want to tell everybody to stay at home. I was like, sis, you want to tell everybody stay at home That's like since I gotta tell people keep their distance boost their immune system and If you can get that our fresh air sunlight by yourself go do it So I said I'm gonna be a hypocrite if I say stay at home cuz I ain't been at home I make sure I go outside every day to get a little sunlight and a little fresh air. Keep my distance. I ain't around a bunch of people.
Starting point is 01:55:48 I don't do all of that, but I need air. I need sunlight. I need to feel like I'm healing. I need to feel connected with the earth. I can't breathe when I put this shit on fucking all day. It's hard to breathe this shit. So I think we got to really start checking on what the government is doing, what the media is saying, what we're doing as a people,
Starting point is 01:56:10 checking on each other as a people before we even do all that other shit, and just kind of worry about your household and your home and your community and your homies and go like, yo, we're going to get drunk.
