Starting point is 00:02:20 Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Straight chest, motherfucking podcast, make some yours. He's a legendary Queens. rapper. Hey, hang, second. This is your boy, N-O-R-E. He's a Miami hip-hop pioneer. What is DJ EFN? Together, they drink it up with some of the biggest players. You know what I mean? In the most professional, unprofessional podcast and your number one source for drunk facts. This is drink-chats, motherfuckers-eat. It's time for drink champs. Drink up, motherfucker. Willie Gooby, hoping he's what this should be. It's a family episode. It's your boy, N-R-E.
Starting point is 00:03:11 What up is DJEFN. Let's get straight to it. They get straight to it. Joe said that I commented under his picture that I was laughing at the Jay-Z picture because I was trying to say that they'll never be able to get him on the podcast. I absolutely did not mean that at all. The reason why I commented, if I did comment, he said I did, so I got to believe him, right? But the reason why I comment is that picture had nothing to do with anybody else other than Hove's watch. If you look, he flossed a $2.5 million watch.
Starting point is 00:03:49 2.6, sir. Okay, then you go. My bad, my bad, my bad little hove. You know what I'm saying? He posted a two point. So if you look, that's what I was laughing at. I'm laughing at, like, I don't know if anybody understands what he's doing with that watch. That was an exclusive.
Starting point is 00:04:04 You can't get it from Patak, even if you know Protect the wreck. This is like a big dog. So that's the reason I laugh. So you're saying that photo shoot for Hove was just for the watch. No, no, no, I'm saying. It was a photo shoot for the watch. That's why. That's what I'm saying, Joe and Jeter, you know, I got your back.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I didn't say that. But Hove is the king of the curve. That's why they said, nor do he curbed him, and they said they never asked Hove to get on the show. Guess what? I've never asked Hove to get on the show neither. Because, you know why?
Starting point is 00:04:33 We're all scared. All of us are scared. One of the worst things that do in life is when you get, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. and that one no can ruin you. So that's the reason why Joe said he hasn't asked yet. Jada said he hasn't asked yet. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:04:52 Neither has that. I don't want to be told that no. And I haven't been put in the right position to axe. But, yeah. Can we say for the record that we want to give Hovis flowers? We want to give Hovis flowers. Yes, we do. I just think he's waiting for Norrie to ask.
Starting point is 00:05:10 What is waiting to be asked? Listen, he's the man. man. He does what he wants. You know what I'm saying? If he wanted to do the podcast, like even Drake, even Drake, I don't know. Did we address the Drake situation on here? No, no, no. From what? From when I just seen him. No, no, yeah. Even Drake. Like, I didn't, I didn't really ask him to do.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Like, I was kind of like, I thought it was cool that they invited me to, to, there's a private engagement of theirs. Yeah, it's private. That's just why I said privates. That's got to go straight bubble. Man. Key word. Keep word. Yeah, but, you know. If he knows it, it's probably.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Yeah, yeah, it is probably. But, you know, I don't feel like it's for me to say. But it was in a, uh, uh, and I sat down and I was just like, we just talked and we kicked it. But I didn't feel it was proper at that very moment. And again, Drake is the man. Just as whole if and when they want to do it, they're going to do it. You know what I mean? You can't, those are people you can't convince to do something.
Starting point is 00:06:11 You know what I mean? Like it has to already be. in their heart has to already be in a tenterary and it has to already be in a soul. So we addressed that. But big up chubs, big up chubs and big up all of the people from, I believe. They're the sixth, right? Because the T.D.
Starting point is 00:06:25 The T. Dot is, uh, the card on out. So big up to everybody from the six that showed me love, nothing but love. Let me be a part of a special moment that they was doing. And it was dope. And I got to see, I got to see Drake drink. He's a drinker. Mm.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Don't get down. Oh, yeah. He don't have to get down. He doesn't have to get down. He was. He was drinking expensive or strong tequila. I smell that shit from across the street. Like, yeah. Yeah, so. You had a nice run this, mom.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Okay, yeah, kind of, right? Kind of, kind of. Literally, a run, too, as well. Yeah, yeah, that's, yeah, sure. But let's flip around a little bit. I would like to say, for right now, to me, the dopest album that I'm listening to in 2026, I got to give it to French Montana and Max B. French
Starting point is 00:07:11 you know he stopped smoking he stopped drinking he got focused a lot of times when people do that they lose their zone they lose their swag
Starting point is 00:07:20 they lose who they are he didn't lose who he was and he got better he got better he got better and Max B like I'm so glad that that's the first project
Starting point is 00:07:31 that Max B jumped on with French because it's like they helped each other out like they complimented each other and the album is just phenomenal especially the single I went deaf one a bit He said he left.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I think he went, I think there's a diss-wrecking to his, Kobe Kardashian. Like, no one's that. He said, ever since you left me, like, why wouldn't it be? Why, every since you left me? More cars, more holes, more, more, more, I'm speculating. This is not fast. This is not here, a lot of girl, but I mean, the scene.
Starting point is 00:08:00 I mean, it could have been to another ex. We don't know another ex. It's true. We know the Cardassians, you know what I'm saying? Like, we know that. And, yeah, big up the French, too. Another good album. He can't do buy money for real.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Yeah, oh, for real. Yeah, for real. Another good album run that I'm still listening to these albums is the mass appeal run. Oh, the Mass Appeal run. And the last two were premier Nause and the De La Sol. I love those albums. And I'm going to tell you, I also was with Dr. Dre. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:30 And Dr. Dre gave me a secret that, oh, I cannot. I cannot. Well, he's telling us it's a secret. Only Lee's sunglasses know the secret. He's going to be in that Mass-upil algorithms. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, yeah. And it was crazy because I came a little late to Dre's crib.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Obviously, we got to talk about that too. Huh? To church or his crib? Well, it's a church in his crib. So, and it was crazy because, you know, all this time, I think I'm a little weird, you know, you know, like. running and playing handball and shit like that. I went to his crib.
Starting point is 00:09:11 He had archery. Oh, shit. He had archery. So I came a little late, like, maybe on purpose. Like, you know, and he was like, if he would have came at 3 o'clock, I would have to show you practices at archery. I was like, I'm glad I came late. I thought you were to start you with Eric.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Because I would have been like, yeah, let me try. And I would have killed one of the maids by mistake. You know what I mean? Like, it would have been something. That got more. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but.
Starting point is 00:09:38 So what can you talk about that experience with Drake? And I also can say that I believe he's entering the Olympics for archery and the Olympics is in L.A. I thought I heard him say something like this. Wow. And the Olympics is in L.A. So this is a real thing. I said, you'll listen,
Starting point is 00:09:54 I don't know how you vote for somebody or cheer for somebody in archery. And he has to qualify. It's a qualify. We're going out there. We will be in the Olympics. He didn't say that on drink champs. I could have sworn I heard this someone. If he said it somewhere, probably no one take it as serious.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Or drunk facts in my head. I got to see he has a real arched replace where he's like, he won't let him go on preliminary. They might just let him get a vibe, but he got a... Well, you know who's got the key to the Olympics? Who? His right hand man. Yeah, that's what's right.
Starting point is 00:10:23 That's right. And I did manage to bring back Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre has his own weed now, too, as well. Yeah, and it's organic. So the first, he told me the first five times he grew it. Snoop told him it was trash. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because it's organic, you know.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Organic. What the hell is organic? You got nitrogen. Nothing else added to it. Like, straight. Yeah, you got to have like, you got, I don't know, like, I believe, like, yeah, yeah. It's not GMO. It's just, most of the we smoke now is GMO.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Yeah, it's basically, what, spring. It's basically plant seeds and water to the plant. Like, I don't think he adds nothing to it, like water. It's natural. No, no, no, no, no. Jamaican's ad, added it is. Yeah, my. Y'all been in fronting for years.
Starting point is 00:11:10 They've been to add it. They've been to edit. Today we eat for years. It was dope. And then, and then naturally, as a producer and the artist, we got together, and he's like, you know, he showed me around his whole crib. It was amazing. But then naturally, we had to walk in that studio.
Starting point is 00:11:31 How does it feel? I got three. I haven't been nervous like that in years. But I, like, you know what's kind of? crazy. It was a nervous, but it wasn't like, like, like, like a scared. Like, you know what I'm saying? It was like, you know, like, how you about to have a fight and you get nervous, but you know you're going to win this fight? So you're not that nervous. Like, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, it was a good nervous. Yeah, it's a good nervous. Yeah. And the adrenaline is rolling. And the perfectionism, like, how was that with him? Oh, I'm going back to lay it. How about that? I'm going back to lay it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:12:03 He says it's not done, basically. Well, no, no, no, no. Basically, we didn't have an engineer there. So, like, and he thought it was his fault. I was like, shit, I was nervous. I was like, thank God. Y'all basically demo tracks. Yes, I got the tracks, though.
Starting point is 00:12:20 I got them all. I got them all. And it's a dope experience, man, dope experience. He loved him. That's what was dope. You know what was crazy? He loves street records. Like, street record.
Starting point is 00:12:31 But then I played them to one hit maker record. that I got with the singing on the hook and he stopped in and he rolled it down he said, this is gold immediately and then he just went gone and I was like, ah shit, I think I got to drop that. I was like, I got to listen to the doctor. Everyone says to listen to your doctor, right?
Starting point is 00:12:46 You know what I'm saying? But that was a dope experience. Big up to Dr. Dre. Biggum to his whole crew, his whole staff. They laid it. No, no, he wasn't. He wasn't. But they laid it out for me.
Starting point is 00:12:56 It was red carpet treatment all the way through. And it was dope, man. And he gave my brother-in-law some pure gin. Like, it's moonshine gin. You know, I didn't take a shot at that. I skipped out. I'm not at that. That's what you're warning.
Starting point is 00:13:14 I'm afraid. I'm like, yeah, yeah. I stuck with champagne that day. But somebody else invited you to the studio, too. Who? Who? Oh, well, Drake told me to come in the studio, but to listen to his records.
Starting point is 00:13:27 And, you know, it was already, like, at the end of the night. But I told him, I said I'll fly out wherever he said. is that? Drake, I know, to keep him about Dre and Drake. That's not one of people get confused. But I told Drake. I think it's like it's a sign from the universe. Drake. Every with Dre maybe.
Starting point is 00:13:43 Look at this guy, his Walter McCullochland. It is a sign because Swiss beats hit me up to. Just out the blue and just was like, so obviously that's like a signature move for me, Swiss and Farrell. So I felt like I feel obligated to call Farrell if I'm going to make it a full fragile. Like I got Dre beats like that's that's that's crazy. I haven't have a have a locked in no date. We haven't we haven't really like talk like that. So um so yeah. So the boss that hit you up after he saw you with drag? Buster hit me up on the comments definitely. Everyone like look at the comments. Yeah yeah yeah yeah but yeah that's so it's dope experience man so uh big up big up to uh Dr. again because um and he's just got tons of beats man like it's like
Starting point is 00:14:32 like tons like it was like you got a misdhate beats no not for you um but like he got every style like any style you want he got it like and then he worked on another another legend album I want to say this so bad but I don't want to be
Starting point is 00:14:48 I'm not but it's not a rapper it's not a rapper and he made the whole album with him it's like it's crazy because you would never think this combination like I was sitting I feel like Stevie Wonderism it's like
Starting point is 00:15:02 It's like in that area. It's like in that area. Yeah, yeah. What'd you say? Justin Timberlain? No. Justin Timberland? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:09 You put two people, two different people together. Timberland and Justin Timberland. Yeah. Oh, shit. Bob. Come on. Yeah. So what, what's in that?
Starting point is 00:15:25 Well, we got the sports champs here. What's going on? Oh, you know, listen. I went to a game. What's on the game last night? Talk it up. I went. and watch the game, right?
Starting point is 00:15:34 Excellent game. And I watched the excellent game. I watched the game. That was amazing game. By the way, Indiana was out here deep. I never seen so many red shirts everywhere. We just saw people at the restaurant right now. Right now.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Yeah. They really, like, support us. But you know what's crazy? The difference reached me in there, I'm living in Miami 17 years so I can say this. The difference is they were decent. They won and they was decent people. Absolutely. Miami would not have acted like that.
Starting point is 00:16:04 I'm like, they would have been outside. It's the youth. Pape pan. You know. It was wild. Yeah. They had a golf clap. It was.
Starting point is 00:16:16 I was dying watching the Indiana fans because I'm like, I'm like they at the hotel. And I'm just looking and they're decent people, man. And at the end, Miami won. Mendoza is a Cuban American from Miami, man. Where's he from in Miami? He went to Columbus. He literally lived a less than a. mile from University of Miami.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Wow. His dad went to play ball with the coach of U.S. Mario Cristobal. They went from the same high school and he was a mile away from the actual Miami University. That's what the lady was saying. So Miami won either way. That's the way I look at it. I got a confession, though.
Starting point is 00:16:51 I was invited for the college football committee. They were doing something for the Overtown kids at the Gibson charter schools, right? So I'm there. They have the trophy, the actual trophy. So I took a picture with the trophy and I was ready to post it and I said, nah, because if Miami lose and I posed a picture before the game
Starting point is 00:17:11 You jinxed. You're going to blame. I didn't do it. Now that they lost, I'm still not posing it. None at all, bro. I'm not sure about that one. I mean, you can post it now, buddy. I don't think they're going to come to your Instagram about, you did this too.
Starting point is 00:17:22 You did this. But it was a great experience, so the college football brought this one. Both teams played amazing. It was a great game. I thought I was watching the NFL. Well, it's not like the Super Bowl. You know I don't want sports.
Starting point is 00:17:35 I was all into it. Because that's an old team. That Indiana team is an old team. Sixty-two years since they won, right? And look, and how many Miami players? How many people from Miami? They said it was nine on Indiana and like 20, 30 on UM. And seven of them from Columbus.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Yeah. The high school. That's crazy. Wait, you got 62 years since the last one? Indiana Hoosers, facts. Yeah, yeah. No, I thought this was our first. Your age.
Starting point is 00:18:02 Championship. When you were born, when you were born, the last time they won. You need, sunny, Steve. Look at them
Starting point is 00:18:10 you got white in here. You know, but shout out to the U because all the, all the legends were there. No, shout out to the U. Michael Irvin.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Michael Irvin. Is that an announcement drop? It's about, it's going to drop today, so I mean, we could talk about it. Okay. Ray Lewis.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Announcement. Drink champs live in Los Angeles with special guests. Michael Irvin. For Netflix Not a Joke week, and we set it off on the Monday, May 4th. I watched the Michael Irvin podcast. I believe it's called The White House, and I believe Brandon Marshall. I don't know if Brandon Marshall is a part of every episode or if he's just that one episode.
Starting point is 00:18:54 He's producing it. I like it, though. I like it. I think it was a good job. And I liked it the fact that they were talking deep, deep football, but they was talking into a way that anybody comes. understand it. You know what I'm saying? Like they weren't using like patterns and saying,
Starting point is 00:19:09 you know, it was in and out. Like they was talking straight English, but talking deep, deep, deep football. I can't understand that. Yeah, you can understand it. Even you. And so you can't understand it. Subtitles available.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Let me get a blood, horse. No, but shout out to Manga Irvin and Brandon Marshall still working. Yeah, is Mr. Leon live right now? No. Are those meta glasses? No.
Starting point is 00:19:31 No, no. It's a good game. But he's live and live in the day. D.R. Like, he's the DiabloB.com. Listen, listen, he's the only one to go live in church.
Starting point is 00:19:45 That's the only friend ever seen. Shut on. He hopes that Jesus is chimed. He's like, oh. They like me to do it. I'm like, they blast for me, man. God don't like you to do it. The preachers are telling you wrong.
Starting point is 00:19:59 And you be having, and it'd be funny because it'd be like, it'd be funny because there'd be two people on. Yeah. Everybody click on and be like, I ain't look watching this shit. Actually, I don't think that dude like... The church is always empty. And it looked like everybody's racist in there.
Starting point is 00:20:18 It's like everybody's racist in there. There's not, there's no darkin people in there. Like the Drewski. There's like a Jukees. Oh, what? The Drewski shit? No. The church kid.
Starting point is 00:20:29 No, I didn't see it. I didn't see that. I've seen the part where he was flying up. He's making fun of them saying how they do it for money. Oh, okay. Oh, okay. He's killing it, though. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:41 He got commercials from everybody. And also this past Sunday, this is welcome to Garcia. He ran that marathon. He ran that marathon, baby. I ran a half in Miami. What did you do in Puerto Rico? What was that? No, he did three.
Starting point is 00:21:00 The Lola Challenge. That's the Lola Challenge. Three days of running. Three days of running? after the marathon. Yeah, crazy. Yeah. What Garcia did you did last year?
Starting point is 00:21:09 No, I did in New York City. I did the New York City Marathon. You remember what you did in the South Beach? No, no, no. Only time, only time, that's the real marathon. That's the real marathon. That was a half. That's like I'm doing a half this Sunday as well.
Starting point is 00:21:20 So, Garcia did the Miami Marathon. He did the Miami Marathon. Let's big him up. He said speaking. He said he's tired. He's been training, too. He's been training, too. Fires. What about the Grammys?
Starting point is 00:21:33 And also, and also, hold on, Speaking about the marathon, you know, Run Chaps, Run Club with Marathon Run Club. It's doing a collaboration February 21st in L.A. I believe Venice Beach. You know, you can hit it even brighter, hit up the link and be a part of it. This is like the first time, first time. It's on my bio, sir.
Starting point is 00:21:55 It's the first time, like, you know, East Coast, West Coast that I know of, run clubs are getting together. and, you know, both affiliated with hip hop and getting together and we're doing something positive. We're also going to try to sell shirts. It's not mandatory. You go on the website. We'll post the website soon.
Starting point is 00:22:15 It's not mandatory. We could still come to the run. You don't have to make a purchase. But if you want to, like, look in camaraderie with us, you know, all of us would probably have the T-shirt on. We don't want your good ideas. Hold it to yourself for now. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:31 You cut me off, man Shut the buck up I'm making it under my announcement Yeah, yeah So February 21st man See I'm gonna cut this out now Like you messed up my whole shit This is my time
Starting point is 00:22:42 Come on Jesus February 21st Venice Beach Marathon Run Club Run Club One Chance Run Club Collaboration Be there
Starting point is 00:22:49 That's come out So positive And then I believe We're going to the Marathon Burger after there I think they're making For the first time Turkey burgers
Starting point is 00:22:59 So this would be dope. So that's big that. Pumpy is the first person to do that for me because I don't know why turkey burgers is not on everybody's menu. Like everybody don't eat pork or beef, you know what I mean? Like, I'm a turkey burger.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Like, I like turkey oxtail. This is a turkey oxytale. You know, turkey oxen, sorry. I didn't know turkey's at art sales. What's your man that line? Hey, shout out to Mitch and Lowe's Runcham. That's right. That's right. That's right. I never had a turkey oxen me neither it doesn't exist

Starting point is 00:32:16 No, Spanish. Drake is doing Spanish. Is he getting paid? No, no. Every, a Super Bowl artist pays. It's like, it's like a war show performances. They don't get paid either. The label or the artist pays.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Oh. They got to set up the only thing. I mean, I don't know the detail. Maybe then if it was something. Back to Drey, when Drey performed, they said he put in like $7 million to do that whole. The whole stage. I mean, I'm sure it's not coming out of his pocket, but on his behalf, labels or whatever. Betty was running the sponsors.
Starting point is 00:32:48 It's a great look. I don't like that. That don't sound right. But I'm hearing that part of the whole promotion is that meta or Apple, Apple, or Apple Music is coming. out with the translator that they're going to promote during it. So when he's doing the Spanish records, it translates it. The lyrics might not translate, but the music will. So he's getting it checked from that?
Starting point is 00:33:11 I mean, yeah, he's definitely getting a check from Apple. Well, that's dope. I mean, that's even more dope. So how many Americans you think are going to watch the Americans? Everybody brought to. North Americans? South Americans? Central Americans?
Starting point is 00:33:24 An 11-minute performance, right? I mean, because a lot of American people are Man, they go watch out there, man. As soon as soon as, soon as, um, what's his name, Bad Bunny, has the dancers out there. All the, everybody's watching. Oh, shit. You need to go to church. I'm being honest.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Definitely, everybody that needs to go to church. Boris? Why? I'm going with you. Yeah, Boris needs some church. Why are you going to sing-in-law Boris like that? No, because I love him. You're always coming at Boris, man.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Yeah. I'm going to go with you. Are you always calling out of war? You always go out of them about the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the fish, Why do you keep going out? That's my brother. They go at each other. And listen, man, Boris is, and they say, we and Boris,
Starting point is 00:34:07 that's my dog, man. That's it. Shout out to you, brother. You're both pescatarians? I'm going to know. I mean him to tell me. Let's get to the bottom line. There's certainly more times that he caught y'all eating pork on a half on a little
Starting point is 00:34:21 pizza. Call me? Yeah, you have Morris, he said. Not me. You said, yeah, man. Don't try to change it up because he has me. You said him too. You said them.
Starting point is 00:34:31 I never get caught out there with that. I ate pepperoni with you. Yeah, no, not. No, you said EFN, too. No, you're kidding. He said EF&A, too. I know. Listen, he said you too.
Starting point is 00:34:42 I know. Way back. He said I. Be and Boris. You ate ham one night. No, no, it was me and Boris. It might have been beef pepperona. It might have been beef.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Barre. B. B, you had 10 years? 10 years? a year and a half. B, you had 10 years? No, man, he takes breaks, bro. Be honest with him.
Starting point is 00:35:01 Tell him the truth. Whenever he goes to Peru, he takes a break. I don't remember. When he goes to Peru, he eats me. He's not pescatarian. He says that Peruvian life is different. Wait a, wait a up. So you only, you only, you only pescatarian in the U.S.?
Starting point is 00:35:21 He just said you take breaks. I go to my aunties, I got to eat what the... There's no fish at his aunt at my house. But Boris, just say that part. Be like, yeah, I don't... I'm not pescatarian when I go there. What do you eat, drunk meat? We did.
Starting point is 00:35:42 I can tell you, I eat a weight less and... Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, no. I had two children this morning. Yeah, but do you all the way, like, cork and beef? We're just kicking. I don't know that would be bragging about that right now. All right, but you don't go to be.
Starting point is 00:35:58 I had lamb job yesterday, yo. You know? I liked you. We had that Saturday. Like the rotisserie. I like you, John. All right. So, no, he doesn't eat beef or pork, he says.
Starting point is 00:36:07 Ah, you said. I know, you with. No, he's a very unhealthy table right now. No, no, no. No, he's chicken and brewing. He's chicken and broccoli. That's not the, you love pigeons too, you said? Pigeons?
Starting point is 00:36:21 No, he didn't say that. Pigeons? Yeah, they eat pigeons. Like the, do. No, the niggins let me be five. This is. What you say he eat people? Pigeons.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Fajas. You eat pigeons, bro. You don't just get pigeons. You said pigeons in Peru. Hey, yeah, yeah, that's big in Peru. Hey, but the, the, the meat is amazing. Ah, yeah. Nah, y'all.
Starting point is 00:37:15 He's... He said the meat Now, you are not pescatarian, bro. Pesmateria. No, I'm not going to I started doing that. So, I have this shit in the head. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:37 Yeah. He said the meat delicious. It's amazing. You tell me. No, I don't eat anything, brother. I'm trying to turn pestilium. I'm trying to eat catfish, bro. That's me.
Starting point is 00:37:52 And I'm fish. That's classic. That's classic. That's classic. That's classic. Time and South Beach. Oh. That's what I was a shit.
Starting point is 00:38:01 I love that type. Big up to 10. That should be fine. You know I'm out of- Goato Frigo? Gotto Frigo? You see me on, what's that?
Starting point is 00:38:11 You know, you see me on, you know, you saw me on there. On the run-eat. I knew you were going to say that. Oh, now you snitching on other niggas? No, Eddie's not a peasantarian. Eddie's a vegetarian.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Everything. You're like, shout out to Eddie and the GrumboeoG. Yeah. Grubi keeps doing their things. Yeah. The D.C. Network.
Starting point is 00:38:48 I have that's so actually been killed. John's the men Bleak out here. Yo, they're killing it, man. Man Bleak out here. And contrary to popular belief, like, Bleak is doing this on his own. Like, we're distributing it.
Starting point is 00:39:01 We have kind of no control over his guests. Whoever guests he want to see, whoever he wanted to see, and however he wants to go out and promote. But he gets his own boss. We don't want to sign or be affiliated or have business with people who we have to, what's that shit, like manage almost? Or like a babysit. We are looking for partners.
Starting point is 00:39:22 He's a boss. And he's a boss. So, you know, for people who think that, you know, it's me and EFN doing all this, this. By the way, I'll take that because it makes us look like geniuses. But really, it's him out there. You know, he waited his turn. and he's doing his thing. And shout out for Black Effect as well.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Those are our partners. Watch stalkers. And watch Stalkers. Stalker TV. All right. Blitz is funny, by the way. You guys, he got a good character. He knows how to approach the conversations.
Starting point is 00:39:58 And he has stories. Have you guys watched his watchtalker? Yeah, you're always in it. I'm not always in it. But you managed to be in my marathon documentary, and you didn't run with us. Yeah. I thought he does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I don't know. He moved your water bottle? I don't know. I don't know how you guys are in the document. I was actually the first one to run. I think it's because Shuler's Dominican and they just like, you know what I'm saying? Like, Shula's like, yeah, oh, man, you know, I got to throw the other Dominican. You know what I got to get free.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So he goes, I was, I shot the first run out of this crew to start running. And stop to. Right? That's a lie.
Starting point is 00:40:39 You've been running. Start off. Don't listen. I'm going to date. No, I'm going to get at. Lee I'm going to eat that. Lee I've been running for a long time.
Starting point is 00:40:50 Not long. From La Miga. Let's look at your night plus. Oh, shit. No, last time Lee had pulled out the night plus, he was at work and the shit went on. Yeah. Yo, he be cheating. He never turns it off.
Starting point is 00:41:05 He never. He never. So right now. That should be on in church. Should be like resuming the workout. Like, what? Take it all, Mr. Lee. Oh, Lee going to do his thing.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Lee liked to run on the same. But I've been running for a minute. Yeah, he liked to run on the sand. Yeah. Is there a release date for the run champs documentary? Well, we're going to probably pretty much do the marathon. Marathon. Rock and mention me first.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Run champs is a run. It's really called Healthy High. That's a show. Healthy High. We interview other people. Like, I find it. I'm going to say this. I'm going to throw this out there. These are all gems.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Look, he knows what I'm about to say. No, he doesn't. Can you let me kill? Yeah. Yeah, say what I'm going to say. I'm not going to say. Marathon first. You're going to talk about your documentary.
Starting point is 00:41:54 I'm ready to take the toast to it. Okay, take the toast. Okay, so for the Healthy High, which is like the RunChamp show, we interview other people, and I find it. hilarious that most people cannot jog and talk. Of course. Like, you know, I want to, I do that shit every day. Like, when I'm running, I talk, and sometimes I forget about the job.
Starting point is 00:42:19 Like, I got to be into the conversation and I can do it. And I'm going to say this out there because it's my man, it's my friend. One of the first athletes we ran with is Brandon Marshall. And by the way, Brandon Washington did not keep up. I love you, but I just want to say I said I'm going out there but I follow him
Starting point is 00:42:41 and he's been back I guess that was his like come back to workout thing and I think he I think he didn't believe me I don't think he thought that I was really doing these
Starting point is 00:42:52 right because like in mid interview he goes you did this with Slim Thug and I'm like yeah we did the whole three and then he just kept asking
Starting point is 00:43:02 like and you do this all the time and I'm like Yeah, Brandon. This is why I asked you to get on the show. So that's what I enjoy. Like, you know, seeing other people. Cyper Sounds did not survive neither. Classy.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Cyper Sounds, we got pulled over by the police because we didn't have a... And he was happy about that. He was happy. He was literally happy. Like, y'all, the police... That saved me. The police saved me. So we ran with Angela Simmons. We're on the phone with her tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Speaking about her show. who else to be running with, man? David Banner, David Banner, he sprinted. He definitely can run it. Yeah, yeah, he, he, he sprinted. Yeah, you know what?
Starting point is 00:43:43 David Banner's like you. What do you mean? He used to be, he used to be, like, a vegetarian, and then he recently said he started eating steak out of just no way. He said that, uh, Erica Badoo. Yeah, so I, I saw that. I saw that.
Starting point is 00:43:56 Yeah, he said that Erica Badoos. You need it, Boris. You know, fish. You know, fish all the time. Did you get Burke Kushner? Oh, yeah. You got to talk about the experience of birth. Oh, listen.
Starting point is 00:44:09 The Netflix special should be out by the time this drops. I got a chance to see it. Oh. Super dope. Dope. Super dope. Very flagrant. I mean.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Oh, the premiere, I forgot to say that when we had Maine on here. Their promotions, their promotions for the premiere were Dicks. What? That's serious. No, no, you don't mean that little. I don't have a mission. Yeah, it was like little fake y'allemings. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Okay. Yeah. I'm sure. Let me get up. Whoa. Man, you proud of that shit, huh? We need to hit you up. You went from its AI to have the after party there, too.
Starting point is 00:44:50 Nah, Lee got the idea. Lee's out of control. But no, but I want to hear about Bert. But so, so the show is about his family. And this lady that plays his wife, because he, I know his wife. So it's actors. It's not a reality.
Starting point is 00:45:06 It's all acting. But listen to me. Oh, I thought it was his stand-up. No, no, no. No, it's about his life. It's about his life. Like, his life as a father. It's like, all right, I want to blow it up because it's going to be out.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Like a what? I want to watch it. He goes to his daughter's school. And his daughter's school is being bullied. So he kind of like steps to the parents and like they, they, oh, I can't know, whatever. So instead, he goes on. T. Paine's podcast or T. Payne's
Starting point is 00:45:36 streaming. And he goes at the parents, like a rap record. He's like, yo, whoa, no. And then so the principal here's the shit. And they're like, yo, yo, you win at other parents? On a, like, they call it the parkers, I think.
Starting point is 00:45:52 But it's like hilarious because it's like that you do as a parent. Like as a parent, you find out your kid is being bullied by another kid. You want to snuff the parents. Right. You're like, you should have taught your kid better not to be like that. And we all say we're not that petty, but trust me, let your kid come home. And let's say something.
Starting point is 00:46:12 You're going to be like, what? I feel it. You're going to warn the parents first like he did, I believe. And then his next thing of action was like, yo, I'm going to go on the podcast. And he was making jokes about it. It was hilarious, bro. About the parents. Yeah, he went.
Starting point is 00:46:26 And I'm talking about this, they were nasty. Like, you know what I mean? Like he's a real. Was it based on reality? It's based on, I guess. I guess it's like... It's called Free Bird. So let me explain to you.
Starting point is 00:46:37 Like, he did such a good job of casting. Like, I don't know if he would ever watch his stand-ups. I watched all of his stand-ups. And of course of that, I know his wife through the television and what he presents. And then in real life, this woman acted just like her, bro. Like, I was, I... He was sitting right.
Starting point is 00:47:01 there and I had to remind myself that this is an actor. That's how good like she was. Like, you know what I'm saying? And I think Burke, because, you know, you got people like Adam Sandler, right? They're hired the same people, including their kids, including their kids. And what was crazy is you never noticed that most of the time the kids don't play his kids. You know what I mean? Right.
Starting point is 00:47:24 And it's not depicted his life, Adam Sandler. This is depicted in Burke's life. but you can tell that they studied, like you can tell this woman hung out with his wife maybe a month. I had to. The mannerisms is the way she talked and the way he describes her. Like it was so dope and obviously I never got to meet Bert's kids, but I believe that they were there.
Starting point is 00:47:49 But the other two little girls that played his kids, they walked around after that, they had the whole audience, bro. The whole audience was sitting there like, like, yo, that is really, really good. It's a really... It's a series or... It's a series. It's a series. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:02 You watched how much? I only have to see one. Oh, okay. Yeah, it was like the premiere. Is it called Free Bird? It's called Free Bird. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And like I said, it comes on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:48:12 So it should be out already. And like I said, a whole bunch of Netflix people there, a whole bunch of... But it was like... But I was like, I was jealous of, like, comedians like at that very moment because there was like, there was like, there was no ice grills, bro. They were just everybody like having a good time. Those are drinking. It was funny as hell.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Different environment. It was funny as hell because he wasn't drinking. Right? He wasn't drinking. And you know how I get when I'm not drinking. And he was so scared of me. Because like, you know, we're drinking buddies. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:48:47 So it's like, our whole thing is, hey, man, we get together. We get drunk together. So he's seen me. He's very happy to see me. I'm happy to see him. And it's just a nap to. Hey, just do a shot. And he was just like,
Starting point is 00:48:58 Oh, and he whispered to me. So when he whispered to me, I was like, ah. And then he had walked away. And he thought I was calling him, so his sister was doing dry January, right? So, and she sees me at the bar, and she's like, man, I'm going to have a drink with Norrie. I was like, damn.
Starting point is 00:49:16 So she broke her dry January with me. And then I yell at Bird. I'm like, yo, bird. Yo, he tried to run from me. And I was like, yo, that's how I'd be. Like, I looked at myself. It was like looking at myself, I'm trying to be focused.
Starting point is 00:49:30 And so he would even walk back to him. We took a couple of pictures. And it was dope. But yeah, he wasn't doing dry driving, he was doing something else. But he wasn't drinking. So that was the funny bar. I was never forget. So he's on a healthy high?
Starting point is 00:49:43 Oh. Is he going to be, or maybe he has a health part to him. No, he's the same. He's a high. That's why. A and B? Yeah, yeah. But.
Starting point is 00:49:53 Because I'm excited for that being a sports dude and trying to get into shape myself. And I do a couple miles. and I join so many challenges and I don't make all of them I never complete it. But I love to see it and I love to see the fucking. You know what?
Starting point is 00:50:04 I should have acted. I should have acted. I could be the one, but not the 100 miles. Oh, the 100. Okay, oh yeah. When I was 100, I'm doing 100. I'm doing 100.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Closest I got to that was 70. I got 171. Yeah, I'm doing 100. I was, bro. I hurt my knee. Yeah. I'll never forget how excited Bert was when he came to do the show.
Starting point is 00:50:23 And he saw that happy. You said, you were, I can talk home. my dad. I love his energy with a guy. You say he took his t-shirt off and so he's there. He's a real drinker, but yo,
Starting point is 00:50:37 real drinkers have to take a break. Absolutely. They have to take a break. And when I see them because, like, that's how I be. Like, if I, if I, sometimes even come in here, like, if I'm not drinking, it's just like, ah, cool. Because it's not like I don't want to.
Starting point is 00:50:51 It's like, but you know what? It's break time. And especially in a, in a public. environment. New year, new goals, and in this economy, a better money plan is more necessary than ever. I am Matt. And I'm Joel. We are from the How to Money podcast. Starting point is 00:51:27 podcasts. Hey there, this is Dr. Jesse Mills, director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health and host of the mailroom podcast. Each January guys everywhere make the same resolutions. Get stronger, work harder, fix, what's broken. But what if the real work isn't physical at all? To kick off the new year, I sat down with Dr. Steve Polter, a psychologist with over 30 years' experience, helping men unpack shame, anxiety, and emotional pain they were never taught the name. In a powerful two-part conversation, we discuss why men aren't emotionally bulletproof,
Starting point is 00:52:00 Why shame hides in plain sight and how real strength comes from listening to yourself and to others. Guys who are toxic, they're immature, or they've got something they just haven't resolved. Once that gets resolved, then there comes empathy as in compassion. If you want this to be the year you stop powering through pain and start understanding what's underneath, listen to the mailroom on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows. A new year doesn't mean erasing who you were. It means honoring what you've survived and choosing how you want to grow. It means giving ourselves permission to feel what we've been holding and knowing that it's okay to ask for help.

Starting point is 00:53:42 But guess what? It ain't the end of your season. You can always tune in with Broken Play Podcasts with Nav Green on the Black Effect Podcast Network. Another team who ain't going to the playoffs. They're cheese. What's a rap? It's time to rebuild.
Starting point is 00:53:56 Who's your MVP right now then? Drake May up there, Josh Allen up there still. Oh, my boy, Matthew Stafford. Where did his phone Nick's at? He ain't too far behind. He did all this talk. What Matthew Stafford is doing statistically, bro, is crazy. Bro, you know I ain't no Josh Allen fan,
Starting point is 00:54:13 but Matthew Stafford got better weapon. Caleb Williams. Hey, he should be in that conversation. In what conversation? He should be in it. Listen to Broken Play with Nav Green from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app. Apple Podcast or whatever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:54:29 I know you said the mock tales thing, But here's the way he had it locked down. He had a colored cup in his hand. It might have been straight water. But if you see a person who's known, I didn't know that, like I didn't know I could do that. Like, if you see a known drink,
Starting point is 00:54:48 most people, he was probably walking around. Most people thought he had a drink in his hand anyway. Because, you know, you had to meet and greet people and say hi to them. You used to it. Yeah, yeah. It's a tick. It's almost like a blanket.
Starting point is 00:54:58 I think it's more that. You're right. Like a security blanket. It's like cigarette. People don't smoke. Yeah, yeah, you're used to this. You're just used to, especially in the industry. You're just used to like, well, that, yeah, you know.
Starting point is 00:55:07 But I'm different. I was like, we drinking. Like, don't wonder if I else by the accent. So he navigated pretty much good through it. But it was all up, man. The series is going to work. That's dope. He has this built-in audience.
Starting point is 00:55:22 That's what I love about that shit. It's like, I feel like he's catered. He knows who to talk to. even like involving black people he had Pac-Man Jones there he had T. Payne there you know he wants us to do his cooking
Starting point is 00:55:36 show let's do it yeah on February 18th and then I'm gonna fly out there for that and he wants me and you I was like that's dope you know what I mean I don't know if he wants us to cook or he's gonna cook I don't know how to go that's probably if it's comedy then that's comedy
Starting point is 00:55:52 yeah because he had GZ big boy and somebody else on on one of his shows. So, yeah, again, big him up, man. I thought they was very... Is he in L.A.? Yeah, I believe he... Because maybe we should invite him to when we do the live in L.A.
Starting point is 00:56:05 Oh, yeah. Just to come through that, yeah, yeah, yeah. He has enough time. Just people just pop in. But the one thing about him, let's... We got to tell him now, because the one thing about him, he tore is like a wrestler, bro. I mean, they on the road.
Starting point is 00:56:18 Yeah. They're on the road. You said with no shoes? Huh? Who? What? Uh. And how we feel about drink champs
Starting point is 00:56:30 reaching 10 years this year? Oh, man, we haven't even talked about it. In March, guys, in March. Wow, what a milestone. Sonia had no hair all 10 years. And it's true. But, you know, like, not everybody, you know, been around for the whole 10 years.
Starting point is 00:56:54 And even if you've been around for the whole 10 years. Damn, shots fired at who? No, it's a lot. I can say anything because everyone know where it's coming from. No. Yeah, everyone knows it coming from love. But, you know, like, before slime pulled up today, and we're looking at shit from so, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:57:13 We're looking at shit from a military, crazy military days, like at the old office. Right here on the wall. Crazy about. And so, man, it mean a lot, man. It's a great 10 years. Yeah, that puts shit in perspective. For sure. Shout out to Tiger Bone.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Nah. No, shout out to Tiger Bone. Hey, 10 year anniversary, we got to bring a bottle back. I have a bottle. Get out of here. You don't have one? No, hell, no. When we bought those cases, I kept one.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Oh, wow. I got this much. I got this. You drink it again? Huh? You drink it again? I would for the 10-year anniversary. Oh, I'll throw up again.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Now, hold on. Why wouldn't we drink it? That shit is delicious. Okay, for the 10-year anniversary, we'll drink a bottle of it. But everybody has to drink it. Are we doing family episodes? I almost bought it. No, whatever is happening on that, whatever we do,
Starting point is 00:57:59 as the official celebration? No, no, no, no, no. The real tiger, but the one that we would have. Yeah, the yellow one. I still got the one with you. Oh, my stomach hurts just thinking about it. And for all the guests that we've had, and I've been able to be personally a part of it
Starting point is 00:58:13 as a fan and involved, rest and peace, all the ones that aren't here anymore that we've lost. We did get some content and episode and had them speak their truth, like John Singleton, oh, which, his rings in my hands because he was so dope. DMA. Always.
Starting point is 00:58:26 Thanks to boo. Thanks to boo. Thanks. Take off. Take off. O way. Her goddy. Her goddy, man.
Starting point is 00:58:34 I go back in those episodes like, Jesus Christ. It was about giving you your flowers. But I want to say there's still pioneers in the game that we need to have on the show that deserve the platform. Cool hurt. Cool hurt. We're going to get you a scooter, Cool Hurk.
Starting point is 00:58:52 We're going to make it right. From Dana Day. There's a list. There's people out there. There's people out there. That are the foundation of why we're here today that we need to bring them on the show regardless of what it meets other people. Yes. Oh.
Starting point is 00:59:06 Yeah, Rakim is definitely overdue, man. And we need a repeat with Carrey's one. Yeah. Oh, come on, Queen Latifah. MCLite. Roxanne Chonte. Yes. Yeah, the list is forever because it's a beautiful thing.
Starting point is 00:59:21 We're having to go out of Roxanne Chanté. And she wanted to do it too. She's down, yeah. We need her like ASAC. Also bouncing around a little bit. Big up Lonell, right? Of course. Lonell is that a real relationship?
Starting point is 00:59:34 Is that a real relationship? Well, that's just, yeah, because it looks like she was taking him down. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Big up my home girl, Liddle. Lou Nul. We love you, Nulna. No, no, no. No, no.
Starting point is 00:59:50 Do your thing, girl. Whatever you're at Give it And I'll be put it on the ass Yeah, I'm just saying I'm going to say That's what I want the best for everybody We got to do a best of moments
Starting point is 01:00:07 One of them got to be Sunny dancing With the legend Yeah, we gotta do a best of 10 years No, yeah, but No, she was awesome One of my... Oh, you know what? Hold on a real quick, real quick, we're quick
Starting point is 01:00:17 What we should try to do is you do a best of and then we film ourselves watching that best of it. That would be it. It's fire. One of the moment for Sonny is when he spin on Shaq.
Starting point is 01:00:30 Bad. Oh, that spit was so clear. In the middle of my question. I'm asking him my question. Shack was like you, man. Yo, Shaq is so dope, man. He didn't even know. I met with Clint Sparks the other day, right?
Starting point is 01:00:45 John's the Clint Sparks. Yeah, because we need Clint Sparks right? Yeah, absolutely, yeah. So I remember Clint Sparks, we just kicked it. My brother-in-law, he must have taken the killer. He all, believe it was the killer. And it was wine.
Starting point is 01:00:57 It went down the wrong hatch. And he spit it at him? He was between them wine. But like a spray? No, he did. A little spray. He had a little spray. He had a little spray.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Clint Sparks was like, damn, Norway. I haven't seen each other in eight years. And I come here and get spit on. We all apologize. It was clearly a mistake way. It reminded me. I was like, damn, Hector, you had the sunny D. You had this sunny D moment, yo.
Starting point is 01:01:20 I'm gonna tell you like this, man. I'm still scared of you right now. Yo, listen, everybody at this table. All the guys are so funny, man. Say anything at any time. That's funny. You take a sip. And then somebody says some foul shit.
Starting point is 01:01:38 And then you're just ready. No, but that wasn't an issue with you. Did you want to laugh? Last time we was here, I seen you fail. You fell over there. I was looking at throw up. I did shit. How many times are you?
Starting point is 01:01:48 And he threw up on his self. That's the only time that I knew you threw up here. You threw up here. That's actually the second time. I remember he threw up through his nose. He would drink it with me. That's his good. And then he tried to run to the bathroom.
Starting point is 01:02:05 But he was holding his thing. That she had to come out. That's he closed his mouth. That's his head. Right through his nose. It was linguine coming out. I'm saying. And guess what he was going on?
Starting point is 01:02:17 And guess what is the pasta. Yeah, exactly. He can't try to set me up. Like, yeah, we're going to have this drink battle. I was like, all right, okay, you make your drinks and I make mine. And that's when I used to make the bunchet. I made that bunchet, baby. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:02:34 When he had, you know, when he used to make up his own drink and all that. Yep. So he got me. Yeah. He got that shit. But the guys, Italian shit. It was Crystal Light, really. And I used to mix it with, I'm like vodka or whatever.
Starting point is 01:02:47 You had some Italian. shit. Grabba. Grappa. Oh, I remember you drinking that shit. But this. What? What?
Starting point is 01:02:56 Yeah. There's nobody come out with boy drinks this line. Who? Benzino's shit. Oh, yeah. Benzino's a classic. Zino's a classic in it.
Starting point is 01:03:07 So is Sadat. Sadat. Yeah, Sadat was leaving people like, I'm going to rob somebody. He was like, wait a minute. No, he threw up and came back up. He threw up. He said like you back in the day when you were
Starting point is 01:03:18 performing here. Oh, great, hey, man, I respected that. You threw up and he just hit the day. Remember, he was right next to me. He almost threw up on me. He was like, oh, shit. He threw up. Right next to me.
Starting point is 01:03:30 He turned around. In the garbage can. Yeah, he turned around. And then he got right back on the mic. I remember we had Oskino Sparks, right? And Pedy Crack. And then Eiffin, Stumble, hit the table, and ran off the set. I went to go sleep in the back.
Starting point is 01:03:45 I did. It was beautiful. I did. I had really good sleep that day. Big up to David. Remember David Banner fell? Drain. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:54 Gray pulled his chair out of him. But I didn't pull it on purpose, bro. We were supposed to take a picture. And then he tried to sit down. Sonny took the banner down the wood tank. Sonny thought he was a stumped man. That's a lot of moments. My name has been a lot of shit.
Starting point is 01:04:15 But the 10 years is crazy. It's so far. So let's do the best. the best clips and not to Jack Wu-Tang's idea, but maybe we get in the theater and watch it and we film our show. We invite Wooten. Shit, Ghostface, he had a shootout with the Delphonic.
Starting point is 01:04:31 I agree. What the hell? Like, what the hell? And then they put it in the TV show. And who, who, was it, SPK that just started posting our old TMZ clips that used to be on TMZ? Because that was for 2016, like,
Starting point is 01:04:44 at the beginning, we were the beginning of that whole, that whole lane. There's so many blocks. There's so many blocks. and so many, you know, that's what we should do this whole year. She was doing all that's true. We should, we should. What, you said that?
Starting point is 01:04:56 This whole year we should put our old clothes. Oh, remind, because even we forget. The audience definitely forgets when we forget. The audience always saying, you need to have this person on. Yeah, we had them on last year, buddy, relax. Yeah, exactly. And we're going to have E40 back on as well. Oh, yeah, we're going to announce some cool stuff with him.
Starting point is 01:05:14 Nice. And I hope he brings his alcohol to it. He's bringing ours too. Who! What's the noise for that? Shout out to E-40, The Legend. Big up to Hot 97. To me, doing the right move, Merrill is a New Yorker. We want to hear our messed up action in the morning when we wake up
Starting point is 01:05:40 and we go on our way to Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks or whatever type of coffee or tea or matcha that we drink. We need to hear, we like our accent. There's New York radio. it sounds like New York radio. Mero couldn't happen to a better person. He's from the Bronx, not only from New York City, from the Bronx.
Starting point is 01:05:58 And I think that that's a dope move. I want to say congratulations to Mero. I want to say congratulations to Hot 97 for making a dope move that the city's behind. It wasn't something that the city sore, but once it was made,
Starting point is 01:06:17 I didn't see not one person say any negative comment. You know what I'm saying? So the city's a lot of... Of course, I would like... As a other partner, Jesus and those together, but the fact is that we got one of them, I think it's a plus for the city.
Starting point is 01:06:35 It's a plus for Hot 97. And that's a plus for new wave of thinking and a whole new era. I mean, look, it's well-deserved. He's a good dude, shameless plug. Just a month ago, I think we had him on fatherhoods. Okay, wow. He was really dope.
Starting point is 01:06:50 and you know talked about being a father. And so, yeah, I think a good guy got this job. Yes, let's make some noise for Merrill. And what else you say we did? What about the Turk Free Day? Oh, oh, oh, Turk is always a great guess. Let me just tell you something. There's very seldomly guess that we don't have to, like, lead the witness, right?
Starting point is 01:07:18 Like, we don't have to like, hey, man, take a shot. Like, with Turk, he's all in, dog. He premeditated that interview himself. Like, he pretty much asked himself the questions and answered it. He directed it. Yes, he directed that whole episode because it was, like, you can tell when somebody wants to get something off their chest. You don't have to, all you got to do is step back and they will get it off their chest, man. So I think Turk is funny.
Starting point is 01:07:51 I believe, I think, yes. And I love the fact that he just keeps going. He just keeps going. They're going back and forth. Obviously, I don't like that part. I hope those relationships get mentored, man. Because BG is my guy. BG is my mom.
Starting point is 01:08:08 I love BG. I love Jube. Drink Chams alumni. BG, drink champs alumni. Baby, drink champs alumni. All of them, man. And Wayne. We've had.
Starting point is 01:08:17 And Wayne drinks him in the whole boy steps in And he came with the whole family Even the dog. That's it. He brought the dog too? Yeah, yeah. And the kids. He came with the kids last time too.
Starting point is 01:08:30 And the dog took a poop. No, the kid was a baby like a long time. Yeah. A child to his wife was his manager. His wife is manager. So, Turk always, you know, he stood on his own. He wanted to get that off his chest. Everyone knows that came from him.
Starting point is 01:08:46 He'd be doing listening party. and shit when it comes out. Oh, yeah. Watch parties. Watch party. Yeah. I ain't going to lie. If he, like, if he wasn't so controversial, like, that would be a person that I would think, like,
Starting point is 01:09:01 yo, we add on, like, once a month. But the problem is, why do people like him is the controversy. But I do believe he's fun. Well, he has his own podcast, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hold on. Let me tell you all about tech, man. I just want y'all to understand.
Starting point is 01:09:17 You got his stats. right there. I'm on Turk. Listen, and we love you, Turk, man. And I don't want you to take us off. You see Turt's bio, man?
Starting point is 01:09:25 Look at. Original Hot Boy Turk, rap legend, drink cheers. I love it. Let me see that. I don't know that. I don't know that.
Starting point is 01:09:43 Really? He's why. He's right. Who else? Who else? Who else would we have, like, once a month?
Starting point is 01:09:56 That was a great guest. I get you a sleeper. I get you a sleeper. Moni love, I think, would be great. We need the female perspective. Moni love, yeah, I think, I think Moni love. Unless the four would be dope. You're saying that for self-agreasons.
Starting point is 01:10:14 He's like, I didn't take my chance that day. But you all live in church, huh? A recurrent. A recurrent. Yeah, yeah. A recurrent correspond that far as a woman? It don't matter, man. And Fat Joe would have been one of them.
Starting point is 01:10:31 Yeah, Fat Joe would have been. We taught him a lot. We taught him a lot over here. And Jay. That Joe and Jada was one of our most repeated guests. Both of them. Both of them. Yeah, you can't let nobody else talk about you.
Starting point is 01:10:44 You just got to cut off. You're just like the seventh time you cut me off. Now I know what people would be talking about me. Like, go, go, go. But listen, we taught Fat Joe and Jada. And I don't mean, like, in a bad way. Like, we had them on repeatedly. and that's no wonder why they're doing the dope
Starting point is 01:11:01 and I want to congratulate them. So what were you saying? Did you... Yeah, yeah, it would be a dog. Turk. Turk is a great chime in. You know we already said that. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 01:11:13 We just threw his name out there, but it's how to utilize him. You know, that's the whole thing. That's what we said. But we already went through all of us. We just went forward here. We said name another person. We said name another person.
Starting point is 01:11:25 That's the you got to kill a guy. Would you say, yeah, yeah. I say Yale. Yeaho, Tony Yeo. Big up to Tony Yeo. Big up to Tony. I mean, not for nothing. Lenel would be good, too.
Starting point is 01:11:37 I'm, I am excited about Tony Yeo and Uncle Murder's podcast. Yeah. In case, people think I'm not, or people who hear the dumb things. I am excited about. I mean, we originally were going to work on Yale's podcast originally, yeah. Shout out to the Zoos. Yeah. I know you don't like the head.
Starting point is 01:11:54 Shout out. Yo, man, you can't use your phone during the show, man. Hey, cease. Come on, man. Come on, bro. Then you put them on, you make them a part of the show. You don't. That's what I did.
Starting point is 01:12:04 I just put it. A little seeds you say? Yeah, it's too late. Your headphones wasn't working. Yeah. Who else would be at the dope? You know, for the young cast, but he's, you know, Kodak. Kodak?
Starting point is 01:12:16 Coadack? You know, you go, big up the Kodak. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, you know, we could. We were able to. You know, it was a sleeper.
Starting point is 01:12:25 Always a good interview, consequence. And you don't have to, you don't have to, you don't have to leave. to witness he does not need alcohol he does not need blood he does not need nothing consequence comes on and he he spills whatever the fuck he wants to say you say you say consequence and I think a Saigon and Maynote
Starting point is 01:12:41 A Saigon yeah Seagon is good Who? Burr Christian Burr? Harry Krishna? Berr Krishna? Berr
Starting point is 01:12:51 He just put Birdman and Brett Kreisner together You go to the tea out of me The league of collaboration Yo Oh, yeah. What are the comedians? I like the Dionne Cole.
Starting point is 01:13:07 Diang Coe. Did he already have his podcast? Did he already have it before? No, I don't know. His podcast is dope, man. He's mad funny, you. And the comedian that we had before. Comedian.
Starting point is 01:13:22 Boom. I forgot his thing. Mike. I want Mike Epps back, man. He's one of the funny. No, listen. He just dropped a special. Listen, listen, listen, Mike Eps.
Starting point is 01:13:30 I told you he called me, he cursed me out. Yeah, I think he was mad at us for some reason. No, he's seen an AI clip. Yeah, they clipped it up. They clipped it up of Kevin Hart dissing him and us like, yeah. It's totally, that did not have it. Mike Evans is one of my favorite episodes, man. Yo, Kevin Hart did not dish you on our show, Mike Epps.
Starting point is 01:13:49 I thought he was high. I thought, or maybe he was drunk, so I kind of let him flip on me. And it's funny. He flipped on you? Yeah, like it's funny because comedians flip, like they flip funny. They cannot not be funny. So it's like, even if you're saying the realest shit in the world, if you're a comedian, like, I'll start laughing. So I was just like I was, and we swashed it or whatever.
Starting point is 01:14:12 So, and then he said he wanted to come on the show. And Marlon Wayne, man, we've been supposed to have him back. He's one of our favorites, too. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. We need. The first time he came, Ball and Wayne, Wayne Kane. This is for the people. Please don't come here on. This is for the people.
Starting point is 01:14:30 First time he came, first of all, this is how it happened. I was in Prime 112. And you know how you have a brain fart and you just see somebody and you just say something. So he walked up. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Take his drink, bro. Yeah. Let me talk. Let me talk. You been, you been, you're about to get kicked out. You can't bring champions. Kick him out. The ballroom. Put him in the bag. So look, so look, guys, listen, listen. New year, new goals, and in this economy, a better money plan is more necessary than ever. I am Matt.
Starting point is 01:15:07 And I'm Matt. And I'm Joel. We are from the How to Money podcast. And every week we help you to spend smarter, save more, and make sense of what's going on out there. Starting point is 01:16:33 and host of the mailroom podcast. Each January guys everywhere make the same resolutions. Get stronger, work harder, fix, what's broken? But what if the real work isn't physical at all? To kick off the new year, I sat down with Dr. Steve Polter, a psychologist with over 30 years' experience, helping men unpack shame, anxiety,
Starting point is 01:16:51 and emotional pain they were never taught the name. In a powerful two-part conversation, we discuss why men aren't emotionally bulletproof, why shame hides in plain sight, and how real strength comes from listening to yourself and to others. Guys who are toxic, they're immature, or they've got something they just haven't resolved. Once that gets resolved, then there comes empathy as in compassion.
Starting point is 01:17:15 If you want this to be the year, you stop powering through pain and start understanding what's underneath, listen to the mailroom. Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows. This show contains information subject to, but not limited to personal takes, rumors, not so accurate stats, and plenty more. What's up, man?
Starting point is 01:17:36 This is your boy, Nav Green from the Broken Play Podcast. Look, it's the end of the season, the playoffs are here. But guess what? It ain't the end of your season. You can always tune in with Broken Play Podcasts with Nav Green on the Black Effect Podcast Network. Not a team who ain't going to the playoff. They're cheese. Oh, it's a rap.
Starting point is 01:17:54 It's time to rebuild. Who your MVP right now, then? Drake May up there, Josh Allen up there still. Oh, my play, Matthew Stafford. Where did his vote Knicks at? He ain't too far behind. He did all this talk. What Matthew Stafford is doing statistically, bro, is crazy.
Starting point is 01:18:10 Bro, you know I ain't no Josh Allen fan. But Matthew Stafford got better weapon. Caleb Williams. Hey, he should be in that conversation. In what conversation? He should be in it. Listen to broken play with him. with Nav Green from the Black Effect Podcast Network
Starting point is 01:18:23 on the I Heart Radio app. Apple Podcasts or whatever you get your podcast. I'm outside of Prime 112, Marlon Wayne walks up. I swear to God can't make this up. He had on a turtleneck. What's that shit? A trench.
Starting point is 01:18:41 Trench coat? Yeah. Oh, yeah. What basketball shorts on and spanks under. So I looked and I look and I'm, I was like, you don't look like you need to go to the gym or church. He looked at me. I seen him think of 1,500 jokes.
Starting point is 01:19:00 And I just said, y'all, sorry. I was just like, I do not want to be in the middle of 112. He's kicking off jokes from Arland. So he was so quick. Like, I saw him. Like, you know, I saw him assess me and be like, oh, I'm about to destroy Norrie. So before he did it, I just grabbed him. I was like, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, chill, my bad.
Starting point is 01:19:23 And then he's like, yo, I'm going to come on a show. This is what I believe a comedian should always be. This is what I believe. From the moment he jumped out the car, he looked at Sonny. Sonny had on a tan shirt. No, I had on. Chill, chill. It was tan-ish.
Starting point is 01:19:44 Then he had white jeans, and then he had on, like, white sneakers. He jumped out the car and he was like, now you're the real off white. I fell and I looked there and suddenly, I didn't realize his whites didn't match. I didn't like, he had three different levels of white. And I'm like, yo, I didn't peep that. And he's seen it.
Starting point is 01:20:10 From the minute he jumped out the car, so comedians, let me just say something. And to the minute he jumped back in the car, he ranked the whole time. Every time he's been here twice, right? Yeah, three. He ran everybody. No, twice, twice, twice.
Starting point is 01:20:24 At the old studio and at Rackett. He did five. He did five. No, no, it did three. It's three. It's the third one. It's the studio and, um, what's the third one? It was the same, the same place.
Starting point is 01:20:34 Yeah, the same place where we did Master P. When we did Mass. 89. Yeah. Marlon, Maine was there? Yeah, it is three. It is three. It's three.
Starting point is 01:20:44 Yeah, remember he came in? No, Jack, it was at Rocket. No, he did. Nah, I think it was at the 8 and 9. No, I don't know, guys. Look it up. Somebody look it up. He was a lot who come the third time.
Starting point is 01:20:54 I don't think it's three. I think it's two. The studio was the one where he's... At a racket, he threw at this at also, which was on the area. And then he came back in all green. Yeah, we're like, bro. You're looking at his clothes. No, I just remember.
Starting point is 01:21:09 But one of his highlights was in the first episode. One of his highlights in the first episode is when he said, you know, Noree, you're a real motherfucker. You know what? Because your man opened a bottle with his teeth. But when he did that, Yo, that show got me crying. He noticed this everything. Oh, yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 01:21:28 You guys are right. Three, three, yeah. Young facts for me, because I didn't remember. And I'm going to tell you another sleeper. I'm going to tell you he always delivers. Yeah. He always delivers. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:21:40 And he always don't mind. Let me finish on your damn, Sonny Dee. Jack Thriller. Oh, yeah, Jack Thriller. No, I love Jack Thriller, man. Jack Thriller. And you know, you know, all this time, I always forget that he's, like, half blind. Like, I always forget that he can't, like, he's walking around.
Starting point is 01:21:59 And big him up, he's in the gym every day. Jack Thriller. Did he run in the gym? I don't know. He keeps tagging him with Run Chaps. Yeah, he keeps tagging run chaps. I love Jack Thiller because, you know, listen, man. He's going to say something that bad suspect guaranteed him.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Yeah, he told Marlon Wayne, so just take your drawers, though. You don't remember? Bollerway said he's hot. He's like, yeah, so just take you. Just take it. But I don't want to make it. I was going to ring up the Dave Dash episode. You know, he was about take off the same.
Starting point is 01:22:31 Yeah, please. I remember the moment he's there. He doesn't mind. Yeah, he said, he said. For the guy to dunk on him. That's what I'm saying. No. Jack is a good sport.
Starting point is 01:22:43 As one of that other moments is I say, I like that. Yo, is that an automa? Is that an automa? He said, this is an or a order. Be. He goes, I'm gonna tell you all the real shit out. And Jada kiss, I'm gonna take you the real. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:13 Did you take that? He said, no, it's not an automah. It ought to be an autom. He said, he said, he said, he said, the chicks know what it is. And he's self-deprecating with his foul but funny at the same time. He doesn't care to be locked. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:31 I think he cares, but he just go with it. But real quick, being that we're celebrating 10 years, we don't have to go through everybody, but if there was three guests that we've had that we would want to do a repeat in this 10th year, who would it be? I'm going to give you my three first. Okay.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Repeat? Yeah, like, we've had a lot of people that have repeated, but out of the guests that we've had, Who do we feel like deserves it? We want to do it again with them and have another episode with them. I would tell you is Ice Cube because that was a short episode.
Starting point is 01:24:05 Nas? Because I feel like that was a live episode. Fully, fully, fully real drink champs. And 50. Another 50 episode because that was a dope episode and I would like to do it again. You next. Let's go around for Flap will be live.
Starting point is 01:24:17 No. Slap can't be safe. Go. Go. No. All right, I'll give you my three. Kanye. shit.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Nas. But even though Kanye had his second chance, but okay, go ahead. Yeah, but I want to see what he's going to say now. The third, the third. I'm with you on that. Nas, because, again, that's like, it makes you more in depth, you know? Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 01:24:46 With jungle. With jungle. With jungle. No, they would never do that. They don't know what that. But, yeah. And she gets out of control, though. Probably, damn.
Starting point is 01:24:59 It was a tough one. You wasn't ready. It's a lot of people. Probably my gaps. That's hard. My three would be Dr. Dre by himself. Good one. You said repeat.
Starting point is 01:25:15 Yeah. Yeah, we had them on. Yeah, we had them on. Wow, bro. How many shot you had? I remember Vegas. You had 2.5,000? Vegas, Vegas.
Starting point is 01:25:22 Vegas, I get it. 20. It was a 26.2. I get it. Dr. Dreff, Farrell. The producers. I was going to say Naz, but you said in 50s, I was going to say them too. You know you want to see someone Latino.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Just go for it, bro. Say it. Romeo Sanchez? He's like Julio Glacis, but he was never on. Romeo Sanchez. I would want to have another guy. So Dr. Dre, Anuel, and. Anuel was a dope episode, man.
Starting point is 01:25:54 Yeah, that was a fun episode. Yeah, that's funny. Yeah, Paul. Go ahead. Me, Mike Tyson, Alicia Keys. And I want to say we bring back Dane Dash. Good. Okay.
Starting point is 01:26:12 I'm not mad at that. We have to say real shit. I mean, not fake shit. No, yeah, no, for real. For just because of the impact alone, man, because whether good or bad, this and that. Holy shit, it's going to take a long time. No, don't for that.
Starting point is 01:26:31 I love the brother. I love the brother. Cany, what? But number four, I take Cardinals every year. Three. Whoa. We care about you say that, dude. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:26:44 That's what she said. That's what she said. Kanye's going to be like, yo, chill. And then the other two, they're not even here anymore. You know what I'm saying? Well, no, but my brother, let's not be somber, bro. Honorable mention, I was going to say Lamont Odom. This is uplifting stuff.
Starting point is 01:27:04 are still available in life. No, I'm saying. This guy's bringing the, come on. Who can possibly be... This is all positive stuff. No, possible is what I'm saying. For the 10-year anniversary. Okay, possible.
Starting point is 01:27:19 10-year anniversary. Okay, we got... You said Kanye? 100% niles, because I'd love to hear the whole story about the casino and all that shit. Whatever is going on. Oh, with the casino. You got a lot to talk about that. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:27:33 And probably last, shit. You know, this is good stuff. Yeah, chat. Since you're still thinking, shout out to Nause and the fellowship that he got on me. So he's like, yo, but this is good stuff. Let me tell you, number three. Number three is going to be. But, yeah, okay, I'm going to go with Has.
Starting point is 01:28:01 Has is your number three? He said all three other All right. All right. Good job, Sonny. All right. Wow, Sunny. That exhausted me.
Starting point is 01:28:11 No, because I like the mic up. My eyes, Kevin Hart. Good one. Good one. Then Kevin Hart was sleeping, and even the fact that Kevin Hart analyzed Turk shit. Yeah. Like, the way he analyzed Turk episode,
Starting point is 01:28:26 and he kept saying, Oh. Oh. He's like, turks shit is like, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Like, Kevin Hart, for sure, Nause, for the same reasons that everyone else said
Starting point is 01:28:39 because it was more like a live episode. Mike Epps, because Mike Epps has one of my favorite moments on drink chants in a two-part way. One, when he told that story of him being in the trunk in the trunk, it's classic. And then when we do, like, a person, I'm a big, a big, I'm a big fan of redo. And you could tell, like, when those two comedians came out,
Starting point is 01:29:08 like, they kind of, like, fried redo. Like, in a good way, I guess that's what comedians do. Like, rappers, we, like, rap with each other. Like, show them. Yeah, so they show them. They hazed them. It was hazing. They were so funny on the spot. No, I mean, he feels like that he was doing.
Starting point is 01:29:23 Jesus. What's up, Sonny? Wow. Jesus. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:29 But, uh, I thought, I thought that moment. I thought that moment in Drink Champ's history that was showing, like, that was like a big moment. Not only drinks Champ's history, like any comedian can see that moment and look and be like, that's what comedy is. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:29:45 Like, all right, cool. Because before they were getting money, before they were selling out tickets, what they were doing was joking on each other. You know what I'm saying? So like when they did that and it was like, I felt like I was in the hood. Like I didn't even feel like it was cameras there.
Starting point is 01:30:00 I felt like that's the two funny dudes. came with a dude that's funny as well, a little less funny, and that's it. But let's be honest, we thought they knew each other for a second. The way they were going, you know what's crazy?
Starting point is 01:30:12 The way it was going to happen. That was like, that was like a little bit like, like a little, because I think, I thought every comedian knows each other. Because most rappers we do until nowadays, like nowadays, the span.
Starting point is 01:30:26 But back in the, back then, like in my generation, I knew Cameron. Yeah, I knew cannabis. I knew DMX, you know, so I'm thinking like they knew each other and they did. But so that Mike Epps moment is one of my favorites. And I'm going to do an honorable mention because everybody else did it.
Starting point is 01:30:45 It would have to be, yay, again, for the third time. And what's so dumb about what he said? I just want to add on. There you go. I think that's the first time. Holy shit, but yours was already the longest. No, listen, I think that's the first time. between
Starting point is 01:31:02 All right, let's take a picture. Old school era, like, say, a Mike Epps and social media comedian. Right. That was, that was, that was, yeah. Yeah, it wasn't a thing yet. It wasn't a thing yet.
Starting point is 01:31:17 There's a big difference between that level. And posting. It's what I said is level. And it's making skits. It's a difference between roasting and posting. Right. Whoa. All right, let Boris give us his three.
Starting point is 01:31:30 Dave Chappelle. Oh, nice. And A-Con. Hey, just straight to it. Goddare. Shaq. Shaq. Jack and Acorn.
Starting point is 01:31:38 Yeah. You know, it's funny about the Shaq. I do want. I would like Jack back. He was funny about the Shaq episode. We couldn't hear him right here. He was like, yo, yo. But I had to have.
Starting point is 01:31:50 I was like this the whole time. Like, what the fuck did he just say? But he was like, you know. Smarty, man. And then I don't even realize he talks soft, but he knows that the mic is. right there. That's what I could hear. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:04 Yo, and he was saying some dope shit. He dropped gems on us. He was funny. And he was a good guy. Yeah, he was a great. And he was a sober guest. Yeah, he was being rolled away.
Starting point is 01:32:13 He was almost like nine. And a lot of, a lot of financial accounts and a lot of money, like, educating account, they use a lot of clips from that. A lot of me talking about spending money. Yeah, man. No, he's dope, man. Now, he killed it. You're not going to throw up now, sony?
Starting point is 01:32:27 Probably. Because the L OJ was good. And yeah. We needed to redo L. Kulja, actually, to be honest with you. Yeah, that's a good. There's a lot of people that we did out on the road that I would love to see in our home set.
Starting point is 01:32:38 Didn't we do, didn't we do, uh, pause? Do we have them on, on, at Rock the Bells, or we did that on, uh... You guys, I wasn't there, you guys had them on Rock the Bells, and then we did them on a Zoom. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Pause again, and then, uh, we had them in New York at the, at the hotel. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:55 You know, it was an honorable mention for me? Honorable mention for me, Couton. Q-Tip Yo, that episode is kind of epic We had Tribe Call Quest basically Rest and Peace 5 dog Buster came to that
Starting point is 01:33:09 Scratch was there DJ Scratch No I don't know I think he was Yeah he was Jerobie was there right Yeah
Starting point is 01:33:16 Jerobie was there Gerobie definitely was there And Q-tip And it was all before the Hall of Fame And that's in LA too Which was wild Like all that is such a weird Those kind of those episodes
Starting point is 01:33:26 were interesting And classic Yeah Yeah. Yeah. 10 years of that shit. That's what. You come back cleaning your hands and 10 years.
Starting point is 01:33:36 Not for nothing. We go all to bring them back, I mean, we can bring about everybody, but we go to bring back Mike Geronimo and MC Shan. Mike Geronimo was classic. MC Shan. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:47 Yeah. He was classic, man. And Geronimo. He's the first only guy that never finished the pod, right? What do you mean? Like, Shann never finished the pod. He just walked away for the first. He went to the pod.
Starting point is 01:33:59 No. He went to smoking cigarette. He was the first guest that was like, I know y'all said no smoking, but man, I got to smoke one. I just smoked you. That was like, holy shit. Yo, Shanwood was everything, man. He was dope, man.
Starting point is 01:34:13 He brought snow. He brought snow and I shizzled with the whistle. And snow was dope, too. Yeah. He brought snow and as a fan of hip hop, I thought it was cool as fuck. That snow was there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:26 Me too. Snow was dope. Me too. And that Mike Geronimo episode. so was classic as well, man. Royal flushed with him. That shit was dope. Yeah. Tank cried. Tank was dope.
Starting point is 01:34:38 Yeah. A bunch of people that cried. It was a lot of motion. Like when you cry, that shit was, that shit hit me, man. I tell you who almost cried, and I'm going to tell you the truth. Almost? He almost cried, but I was, like, nervous at him delivering this information when he was doing it. Will Smith, man. Well, Smith, when he was looking, I felt like he was.
Starting point is 01:35:00 was like, I felt like he was fucking, like, he was like fucking fucked up, like, for a minute and just like, venting. Like, when he was talking about that mountain top, you could tell, like, the clif top, the clip top. You could tell the emotions in his voice. You could see it in his face. And that's the person that was there.
Starting point is 01:35:18 Like, if you was there, like, because I know people ask me about that clip a lot. Yes. But they're not there. So you can't really feel the, all you can see is through the screen. Like, I felt like he was like, yo. And that's the reason why I said, yo, you're a therapist. And he was like, yo, let's do therapy together. We was playing around.
Starting point is 01:35:34 But it really wasn't. Like, I could tell, like, he needed to vent. It felt like that sit down, we, like, locked in. And they remember, there was one thing that they said not to ask. So they said, don't ask him about the smack. Don't ask him about the Chris Rock incident. We did not. We did.
Starting point is 01:35:51 But what we did ask him was, like, has there ever been in a time where, you know, he's made a call and they haven't responded back and it was so dope for him to be like, yo, yeah, this year. So he like, he spoke about it without us like, you know, pushing, like his people couldn't be mad at us because we didn't bring it up.
Starting point is 01:36:13 And he spoke about it. He's like, this year. You know, people didn't pick up my calls and when I called for a feature. And I just thought that, I thought that was dope for him to be vulnerable. I thought that was dope for him to be truthful. And I thought that was ill that anybody would go through that.
Starting point is 01:36:29 That was dope about that episode as well. Shout out to his family. I think he said his sister. That they were fans of drink chants and they were hyped. And that to me made me proud. You know what I'm saying? That was dope, man. And I think that's the most profound of any drink champs.
Starting point is 01:36:47 The story about Hilltop. Clifop. Clifop. How are you going to repeat what I just said? You've been doing that all interview. You should have just recorded him and say, hold up, guys. I was in the bathroom. I was in the bathroom.
Starting point is 01:37:04 Oh, you weren't. No, you were right here. You weren't in the bathroom at that time. Yo, now, well, do with that. He brought Philly cheese steak and sand. Whatever I say, you just repeated it in another way. He brought Fetty ones, too. He bought Philly cheese steak, salmon, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:19 Salmon and Benji. Oh, it was fine. The chicken one was great. Which one did you have, Boris? That's what I wanted. You got Philly. He had the salami cheese steak. And the,
Starting point is 01:37:29 I love it. He had the pigeon. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? No, because he's going to visit his family and he got an art. That just... Listen, guys. Listen, listen, listen, guys. Hold on, hold up, hold up.
Starting point is 01:37:44 Hold up, hold up. Hold up. Guys, Mr. Lee's metal glasses are running out of battery, so he said we got to wrap it up. We got to wrap it up. We got to wrap it up, guys. No, I'm just saying, boys, I love you, bro. Yeah, I hate you. No, listen.
Starting point is 01:37:57 No, listen. Jay pickings look at a mess on the news. I don't got those. I never heard somebody. I get back to my country. And in life, he said, you know, I got a art. He said, I go back to my country. Dave.
Starting point is 01:38:08 I go away. He said you hate shit without the H.G. Listen, listen, listen. You say you're making your face. When you go ahead, talk to me. Take a picture. You said you got an art. Go back to your roots.
Starting point is 01:38:25 I'm going to listen. Let's get you. Right. Hey, yo, that's the... The BP and the 8thold is the type. Go back as UEP.S. You don't do Haiti, you eat me. It's just common.
Starting point is 01:38:42 Yeah. You know what I'm saying? He's not a real Haitian, bro. He said, you know what? He said, yeah, boy. When I go to the court chief? No, go for real. He's a hate-in for both.
Starting point is 01:38:51 Get out of best of death. Because I got an... He's a bation. Yeah. He's chicken and fries. Yo. Yo, what? That's fine now.
Starting point is 01:39:00 You make it zink, you're making it. You see how funny you're in the jazz. I don't respect that. When you go to Haiti, bro. I want to say, Hey, before the last 10 years, but for 10 years,
Starting point is 01:39:27 as far as the hip-pop and the current status of our genre of music, we also transcended where we got the Isley brothers. We got Patty LaBelle. And we got George Clinton. Yeah, we can't forget that. And we need, who do we need?
Starting point is 01:39:47 Stevie fucking wonder. Whoa. Don't say you like that, brother. Yeah, bro. We need Steve fucking wonder, man. He's the number one story guy. We need him. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:56 Steve, you want to story? Runner up is Lionel Richie. Come on, Lionel Richie. Let's do this. Lionel. I ever told you. Oh, we need, but, I was in L.A. for like a point.
Starting point is 01:40:07 And I kept going to this place called Boa. Right, rich. Downstairs, right? And I kept eating there. So I checked in. The lady asks me, she goes, yo, there's a table right here that you've been sitting at every night. Or there's a table inside. The table is going to be next to Line of Richie.
Starting point is 01:40:27 I was like, she was like, so which one you want? I was like, girl, you know I want to be next to Line of Richie. And I went to the Line of Richie. And I went to the line of Richie. And I went to line of Richie. this is some play of shit. It was like in January. He's like, hey man, I want to invite you to my show.
Starting point is 01:40:40 And I was like, okay, bet. Yo, and she was in August. He invited me six months in advance. I was like, yo, that's some OG shit right there. Yeah, I took the picture with him. I got a picture with Lionel. Yeah, that's that. That's dope.
Starting point is 01:41:00 Lionel Richie. I would like the Beach Boys on here. You ever seen that movie? No. The Beast Boys movie? Yeah. He still ain't seen it from the last time we spoke about it. No.
Starting point is 01:41:12 No, that shit is crazy. Yeah. Okay. Anything else? Or we wrap it up? Rest in peace, John Forte. Oh, yeah, man. John Forte, man.
