Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up everybody? It's Jacob here. The Doug Rose have made it back into the room. So yeah, we're here. We're filling in again. We're not taking over, just filling in. But we're here with all my brother-in-laws. And for Will and Bobby, they're brothers, not brother-in-laws. And they're here with us three in-laws. We're all brothers. Yeah, we're all brothers. But yeah, thanks for watching our last one. It was pretty fun. We had a lot of good positive comments. But, you know, we also had our negative ones and some that I thought were pretty funny.
Starting point is 00:00:34 and one that has to do with me and my brother-in-law Christian here. So I was looking at the comment. I actually don't know what comment. I don't read the comments. We got a lot of positive comments. Yeah. I saw one. Shockingly,
Starting point is 00:00:47 actually shockingly, a amount of positive comments. Really boosted. Yeah. Yeah, I really thought we were going to get flamed. Which is why we're back here again. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:55 A semi, semi-reason. What's a good comment? Somebody said. A good comment? Anyone know when I don't remember that is. They said, John Reed seems really authentic.
Starting point is 00:01:04 tick and he has a good heart. You're so good line. There was one like that then. They were very positive. They were like y'all should do a Duck Bros. podcast. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:16 I should have. Everyone got good comments. Let me see. There's one that says Chris. Yeah, they said, don't be so hard on John Reed. He has a soft, kind heart. That's what someone said. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Now, there are some good ones. A lot of people talk about the end, like talking about when we talked about were like Christian went unashamed on them. Yeah, they said. Wow. Thank you guys. They fired you up, bro.
Starting point is 00:01:40 This one person. What was the bad comment? So I'll go to the bad comment and I just thought it was funny and I knew you don't read them so I thought you would think this is funny. So I was reading the comments and I saw one and a guy said, Jacob is a tool and it had like seven likes. I was like, dang, that's pretty savage. And then it had one reply and it said, have you seen Christian?
Starting point is 00:01:58 He's a way worse tool. And I was like, yes. But I was thinking I was talking. I was talking to John Luke earlier and I was thinking I was like, what kind of tool was like Christian like a pink hammer and I'm like a dull saw blade or something? Or like I'm a hoe. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Starting point is 00:02:16 I was thinking of what the worst tool would be. I mean, that's just the one with the most derogatory, I think, right? I guess, man. Or just like a useless tool. Something is broken. A broken. But I mean, you went there. We're talking about garden hose here.
Starting point is 00:02:31 You're a screwdriver. I mean, okay. Where's something. But I just thought that was funny. What an insult. What? And I mean like pink hammer, like you're a pink hammer and like a girl's, you know, toolkit. So I'm super feminine.
Starting point is 00:02:46 That's what the person was saying. But kind of hard at the same time. Actually, that's what Jacob's implying that you're super feminine. They actually didn't say that. Jacob added that. Yeah, I was ad libidding it. He actually commented on that comment and said, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Well, shoot. I'm not a. tool, but if you think so, then I'll just try to be better. Power to you. I'll try to be less toolish. I was reading, I was listening to another podcast, and this guy was talking about comments, and he said something I'd never thought about. I thought it was so funny.
Starting point is 00:03:21 He said that he got past being upset about the comments when he realized every commenter is 12 years old. That's hilarious. When I thought about that, yes, every. negative comment I've ever heard is like that is what a 12 year old would say. I was thinking about camp this summer. I was thinking like the things that the 12 year old boys like say one of the other that they're like roast and like digs at each other is like exactly the kind of like comments that you get online. And my favorite one for me on this one was a someone
Starting point is 00:03:54 said John Luke's blanket is the end of the dynasty. Oh did that is savage. And I thought I did kind of cry. You brought it back. I brought it back. I brought it back. I brought it back. I brought back for the head. Dynasty continues. It's actually really hot in here now, but I'm just wearing it for the haters. No, I thought that was so funny. As I was like, that's the kind of like logic a 12 year old has is like, you're wearing a blanket. You're not, you got soft hands, boy. Yeah, yeah. But I was telling him a friend about this and she was like, yeah, my dad didn't let my brothers use blankets like on the couch. Like they couldn't have a blanket. Like he would make fun of them when they'd have a blanket. That's a That's intense right there. And I was like, I didn't know that was like a thing. Who did that? I've never heard of them. My friend said that her dad would make fun of her brothers,
Starting point is 00:04:42 like wouldn't let them have like a blanket on the couch. She said it wasn't manly. And I didn't know that was like a thing. He just wears like super soft feminine sweatpants. Like soft blankets. That's what I said. I'm like, what is it? It was like I was funny about the blanket is I like knew I would kind of get roasted for it.
Starting point is 00:04:57 But then I thought what, what is it about a blanket in a scenario like this, that's like, that's not manly. Because I'm like, to the commenter who's like, that blanket is like, that blanket is like, that blanket. I don't think it's a manly thing. I think it is that you're like 20 or no, you're 30 years old and you're, it's like an old man that you're like sitting there with like a blanket. He's like, wait, how old are you again?
Starting point is 00:05:20 I don't know. How old are you thinking I am? What truck do you drive again? I don't already. No, that's crazy. I wouldn't say I've ever looked at a blanket objectively as like feminine. I love a mask. Love a blanket.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Well, and even the tool comments, I would venture out to say that whoever is commenting that would probably really enjoy hanging out with us if I had to guess. I always say that most people that hate if they came sauce in real life and just hung out. Not to say we would enjoy them, but I would guess they would probably enjoy hanging out. Okay, little Timmy, we're going to bring you down here. That a tool comment. No, no, I get what you're saying. It's true.
Starting point is 00:05:56 As in, if you spent a day with someone, I think you would realize you're a lot more similar than you're not. I mean, maybe we have a platform to be on this podcast or this and that, you know, we have this opportunity. So you probably look at us in a certain way and have a perspective. But at the end of the day, there's reality outside of this podcast and we all live lives and I'm just saying, I've spent a good bit of time with you and I still think you have a few screwslies. Oh, yeah. I get that I'm weird for sure.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Yeah, I was thinking about that the other day. I'm like, I am a weird person, you know? You know what else was in September? Dill season. Ernie, y'all go in till hunting? Probably not. No, bigger. I plan on it.
Starting point is 00:06:32 But if you are going till hunting, if mosquitoes aren't too bad. You know what you do. Well, actually, yes, I'm definitely going to go teal hunting because of what you're about to say. You're going to go till hunting because you need a duck stamp
Starting point is 00:06:41 from duck stamp. Yes. You're going to go just because you buy a duck stamp. Yes, just continue talking. I think you will go duck hunting, aka teal hunting in September if I take you. But then I don't think you will go.
Starting point is 00:06:54 What if I take you teal hunting? I don't think I'd ever get in the car with you to go. I drive a truck, so jokes on you. also the joke might be on both of you because if we don't get any water in the next month or so we hang on you're not going to be till hunting at all so no that's true i don't yeah jokes on you because it's going to rain or we can go dove hunting you can go dove hunt you don't need water for dubs yeah yeah i do need to get a duck stamp though some uh some uh roads with
Starting point is 00:07:24 some gravel on it yeah or their uh gizzards yeah where can you get a duck stamp by the man you can get a Duckstamp at Dougstamp.com. Just go get on there and get it. Well, dude, I think this is a perfect time, Christian, because you've been just itching to tell us your funny story. I have been itching. Yes, my funny story. You haven't heard what happened to me on our last trip?
Starting point is 00:07:44 So is this where the funny story is at? Yes, this is where the funny story happened. Where did you go? Where did you go? We were on a trip to Montana. First night there. What were you doing in Montana? I was speaking at Fresh Life Church.
Starting point is 00:07:55 I want the background stuff. I was speaking at Levi Lesco's Church on a Sunday. City was speaking at their conference on Thursday, went up there for the week with the fam, had a great time out on the lake. The river did a bunch of fun things. I saw Honey, was she not kneeboarding? What was that called?
Starting point is 00:08:12 It's called like a Zubboard. They were on Shark Tank. I don't really know. You can like stand up. Yeah, she was like standing up. She was shredding. What is that? It's like a, I don't really know how to describe it.
Starting point is 00:08:21 It looks like a kneeboard. It looks like a kneeboard. It looks like a kneeboard. It looks like a kneeboard. Is there like a handle? Skee in. Yeah. You can pull it up.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Oh, but you just have, that's just like they're, the actual. It's like a really big kneeboard that, like, she could stand on, a little kid to see. You ever seen the squirrel doing the ski and stuff? Yeah. Look just like that. Okay. Look just like that, but it was honey instead. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Yeah, so imagine a squirrel and then imagine, honey. But she was crushing it, so we were up there for all week. So the first night we get there, it's like, it didn't get dark till, you know, past 10 o'clock. So I went to the grocery store at like 9.30. And, you know, on a trip like that, I feel like you all, end up getting more than what you think you're going to get. So I should have gotten a buggy. I got a, I got a, I got a, I should have gotten a buggy, but I got the little, what was your objective? What were you going? Got the basket. What were you going to get? I was going to get, like, diapers
Starting point is 00:09:12 of wives, but also needed to get almond milk, coffee, like peanut butter jelly, bread, oatmeal, all the stuff for, you know, the kids and things. So my basket was overflowing. I had two more things to get. Your cup had runneth over. My cup had runneth over, yes. But what, which, about to happen is not biblical. I responded biblically, but I was not met with biblical friendliness. Depends on the part of the Bible. As duck hunters, we spend a lot of money, right? There's things you invest in, such as equipment and all these things. But look, let me tell you the best investments you can make. That's $25 for a federal duck stamp. Look, if you're going to invest in good shells, decoys, and the gear that helps make a day in the blind better, you better invest
Starting point is 00:09:57 in the federal duck stamp because not only does it raise money for conservation, but you have to have it to hunt the ducks anyway, so stay out of trouble with the law, and it helps save the places where the hunting memories happen. It's required for hunting ducks, and that $25 goes towards conserving wetlands across America. Look, since 1934, duck stamp buyers have helped conserve more than 6 million acres of habitat. Getting yours is easier than ever at duckstamp.com.
Starting point is 00:10:23 You buy it online, you carry the digital stamp right there in your pocket. it's on your phone. You don't have to have service. It's always there. And you can head straight to the blind with confidence and your collectible physical stamp will arrive later in the mail. Look, y'all know 98% of it goes straight back into conservation. And if you want to, buy another one.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Buy two of them. 25 bucks may not buy much these days, but it still buys something that matters. Visit duckstamp.com and get yours today. That's duckstamp.com. I had my cart. It was overflowing. It's 9.30 at night. There's no one in this grocery store. So I'm like scrambling. And I'm the person that when I went up and I asked if I could put my cart on the conveyor belt. I'm going to be super fast. I had to get coffee beans and a flat of water. That was all I had to get. So I put my basket up on the thing. And I tell the lady, I'm like, I'm going to be really quick. I have to get two more things. And she said, I'm super fast at scanning. And I said, well, I'm really fast at running. No, you did. Yes. I was trying to be, I was trying to be sweet.
Starting point is 00:11:29 So I take off running. I get coffee. Flirting a little. Hold on. No, she's like, she's like mid-60s. I thought she was really sweet. So I go get my coffee beans. You take off sprinting. Yes. I'm like sprinting through this grocery store. Because I don't like being the guy that's holding up the line, you know. But there was, it's late at night. There's no another. Get the coffee beans, run back, put it on the, put it on the cart. She hadn't put it on the basket. She hadn't started checking my stuff out yet. And I was like, that's kind of weird. So then I run 20 feet to get a flat of water. As I pick up the flat. out of water and turn around two girls with a cart like walk in front of me and then they get in the line that I'm in and they kind of walk in front of me and they say oh I'm sorry is someone here and then she said no he's not back yet and I'm right behind them so they cut in front of me and then she starts doing their things and then I kind of I kind of sigh I'm like oh and then she looks at me she says aw what are you sad a little couple girls go in front of you oh that's awesome I almost lost my life. I almost lost my mind. You almost lost your relationship with the Lord.
Starting point is 00:12:37 It was like a David and Nable. It was almost like, you know, I'm about to work out salvation with my own hand. So you're about to do a little crash out. You almost crashed out. I almost did crash out. It was like, I couldn't tell if she was like being facetious or if she was just being. Can you get that line again that she said to you? She said, oh, what do you say to let a little couple girls go in front of you?
Starting point is 00:12:57 Oh, that's great. I have said, it was the. most belittling. I was so mad. Okay, so then it... Did you feel like a little pink hammer? I literally, yes, yes. Yeah. Were you the little pink hammer? I felt like a little pink hammer, but I wish I was... I'll take that back. I wish I had Thor's hammer. No, no, I take that back. She was a little pink hammer and you were the nail. In the moment you felt like Muleyere, but then you got back... Is that not crazy? So then, so I keep my basket up there and she says, you can start, you can start
Starting point is 00:13:29 taken to stave out if you want. Like, says it sarcastly. And I said, okay, sorry. So I take everything out and then I leave the basket up there. And she said, you can put it on the floor. And so then I put it on the floor. She said, not right there behind the counter. And I said, I'm sorry. I'm not from here. She said, yeah, I can tell. So then I was like, this is awesome. Whoa. So this whole thing. And then this guy walks up and he's like, what does 4-8 stand for? And I was like, oh gosh, here we go. So I'm explaining to him what my tattoo means. He's invited. me to a church tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm telling him, I'm speaking at a church tomorrow. All the while, this lady's ragging me for whatever reason. So then she says, put in your number. I say, I'm not
Starting point is 00:14:10 for me. I don't have a number. And she said, well, I'll put in the numbers. She can save a couple, so you can save some money since I was so rude to you. And then I just said that. She said that to you? Yes. And then I just got my things that left. And I was like, what just happened? Did you play her character so well? I've, I've probably, told that story upwards of 50 times now. I hope that this lady hears this today. Isn't that crazy? Oh, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:14:37 I don't happen to a better person. I know. Like you. Yeah. You're the perfect person for that to happen to. But like the old Christian, I mean, maybe even six months ago Christian. Camera smash.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Maybe yesterday Christian. Potent, depending on the day of the week, I definitely would have popped off on her. But, you know, I was speaking at the truth. church the next day. So I would think I was in more of a healthy spiritual mindset. I was very gracious. I didn't talk back to her, but I was close to like, you know, saying, you wanted to. Well, I would have said, you know. The flesh wanted to. Yeah, I would have said, oh, this is my first time in Montana and you were the most rude person I possibly could have met my first year.
Starting point is 00:15:18 And I might never come back here. That's how you would have came back at her? I don't know. Probably. That's like a, that's like the most polite way to dissing. Yeah. Oh, what would y'all have said, oh, are you sad two little girls got in front of you? Isn't that crazy? Actually, yes. I've never really had something like that happened, but I, uh, one time, this was like a month ago, I was getting my old change. So I go into like pay and I go to hander my card.
Starting point is 00:15:50 And when I did, the card just like slipped out of my fingers. And this girl's probably like 20 years old. And it slipped out of my fingers and I dropped it. and it like, when it hit the edge of the counter, it like, like frisbee, like, frisbee threw the thing and, like, slid down the ground. And she went, oh, butterfingers. And I started laughing so hard.
Starting point is 00:16:13 And then she started laughing. And I said, did you just say that? And then she just started laughing harder. And we were like, what are we even, like, doing here? So the Bible's boss was, did you just say that? But then we just laughed because she, like, I don't think she even meant to. That was just her involuntary response.
Starting point is 00:16:31 Like, oh, butterfingers. I got butter on my hands. I was like, yeah, I actually do. I just slipped. That's awesome. But that is way more intense because she just didn't like you. She doubled down multiple times.
Starting point is 00:16:43 And then later in the week, I'll just tell this really quick. I was going to get a couple tattoos. A couple. Let's go. I'd had this plan out for a while. That's edgy. And I'd put in my down payment. I'd have the appointment.
Starting point is 00:16:55 I'd have the appointment. You really put in a down payment? I've never put it. You deposited and you didn't fulfill it? Well, here's the thing. So I went in to do it and he, I had this like specific idea. I wanted Honey's name, you know, handwritten in her handwriting. And he kept, like he would keep tracing it and like he would trace the thing.
Starting point is 00:17:12 And I was like, no, I want, you know, her thing. And he would, like the needle was so big and I wanted it more of like a fine needle thing. And then finally we were going back and forth on, I think that's too, you know, I wanted it smaller. He was like, no, I can't do it smaller. And then finally he looked at. me he said, all right, well, I don't think we're going to see eye down on this one. And he just shook out of his hand. And I was like, all right. Thank you. Leasie is being honest. No, I know. It was just funny. I was just like, yeah, I was like,
Starting point is 00:17:40 I had mess up on you for a lot. I was like, all right. It was just funny. He reached a point where he was like, all right, just get out of here. Dude, no, I actually think you should go to Twin City because every, like actually everybody there is really cool. Yeah, I like, I like traveling for my tattoos. I don't know why. He only gets tattoos out of town. Yeah. Really? I did Israel in Copenhagen. It makes it more edgy. Which makes it all. It's just a fun memory.
Starting point is 00:18:08 It's about being edgy. If you actually, if you ever want to just decide to do it here, I have, you can take me. Caleb is my, yeah, I'll take you. Well, Will is trying to say is if you ever grow a pair to get one here, he'll take you. I have a pair. You know what I'm talking about? Of tattoos.
Starting point is 00:18:24 You do have a fair, actually. You have two. Gian, maybe, yeah. Somebody's got a super famous. Copenhagen. We both got one in Copenhagen. But she's hard to get into you. Well, Caleb's extremely easy to get it.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Something happened last night. And I don't think any of us took John Luke up on it. Yeah, what the heck, guys? What happened? A meteor shower happened last night. It was the largest meteor shower in the, I don't know, world or something. Where was my invite? He invited us in our message.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Where? I didn't see them. I didn't see him. I never got a meteor text. You're crazy. It's in the text message. Y'all all are smoking crap. I apologize.
Starting point is 00:19:01 I just didn't respond. You all are crazy. Yeah. I sent like four texts. He said. Plain English. Meteor shower tonight. If anyone wants to join me on my porch.
Starting point is 00:19:13 After midnight. I saw you at 9.30 last night. You didn't mention anything about it. I don't see a text on mine. I really don't. I see it now. I missed it between this stuff. I was just sitting out there alone at 1 a.m.
Starting point is 00:19:25 in the yard. Yeah. It was actually awesome. Did you video any of it? No. Just eyeballs. Had to be there. No videos.
Starting point is 00:19:35 You got a picture? He's lying. He's lying. He's lying. He had to be there. He doesn't have it on him. I want to see this text that I so called. I love you.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Here, here. I missed this. Look, look. I'm actually kind of upset. I mean, Christian lives the closest. John Reed the second closest. And I told us that's right in my alley. I didn't get, I didn't see this.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Me and John Luke walked to take out our trash together. last night at 9.30 at night, and then he didn't mention anything about it. Look at this, John Rene. On the... Well, sorry. I should have said, hey, remember the meteor text I sent? I would have been like, no, I'd never saw that. But yes, I'll stay up. Well, you know, I didn't because you said... Here's our notes for the podcast, guys.
Starting point is 00:20:10 We were planning it out. Okay, now I'm actually seeing it, but then I'm seeing all these notes. I didn't even see your watching the meteor, then you sent... John Reed doesn't... I did send a lot of text. Read and write. Anyways, it was a meteor shower. So I got at about 12... You should have said, hey, it's John Luke. We live close to each other.
Starting point is 00:20:26 There's a media shower tonight. Everyone was in, if you would just, yeah, we were all in walking distance. I walked out, so I'll go out and I'm sitting there. And at first,
Starting point is 00:20:35 this is like 12.30. Nothing really happened. I saw like one. And it really, like 1.15, it picked up. And I mean, that was like.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Thousands of them? I mean, not thousands. Probably like five or six. But have you ever seen five or six? Have you ever seen five or six shooting stars at the same time across the sky?
Starting point is 00:20:54 Maybe like one. once in my life. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's, in, it's, right. In Florida, I saw, like, tons of stuff going on time. How many?
Starting point is 00:21:01 I can't remember. Were you sober? Yeah. Questionable. Questionable back then that I was probably not sober. Hey, did y'all, when y'all grew up, did y'all have at school,
Starting point is 00:21:12 like, those little Astrodome blow up things with the constellations and stuff? Yes. I love those things. They were so cool. They used to come to our schools. You know what I'm talking about?
Starting point is 00:21:22 So, you know, like, an inflatable jumper. You know what I'm talking about? You know like an inflatable jumper? Well, at school they would have them come every year, like in your PE class or like an activity. And you would go into the PE room and they would blow up like an inflatable dome. It's called like the atmosphere or what was it? Something.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I don't. Star Lab. Star Lab. Thank you. We didn't have Star Lab in Florida. But yeah, it'd be completely dark in there. And they would have like the constellations on the ceiling of the situation. It was pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:21:50 I missed out on that. Oh man you know it's a busy time of year for us we're on the road whether it's hunting traveling doing shows you know the thing you miss the most a lot of times is your own bed amen when you come back home first thing you want to do is climb up in that helix mattress and you get that perfect feel right because me and brittany took the quiz and it's about as simple as it gets two minutes or less it matched us with the midnight lux mattress because we're not too soft not too firm, whenever you're doing it for two people. I know you like the moonlight, right?
Starting point is 00:22:24 Mm-hmm, because I'm the soft fluffy cloud just like me. Yeah. I like my mattress. Look, and that works especially well for us since we sleep mostly on our back, but Brittany kind of sleeps like a crime scene photo like that. But I'm a back sleeper. Look, the whole podcast crew has gotten on board with Helix. Unashamed guys got them.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Sadie's got them and the rest of us have all made the switch. And we're all saying the same thing. These mattresses, they're good. You wake up, no back pain. like you're not stiff, you just, you feel better. And that makes a difference when you got a full day ahead of you, right? Whether it's chasing toddlers are going hunting, you need to be rested. Helix makes the whole process painless, too.

It was cool because the thing I was like thinking about was thinking about like our ancestors like watching the stars. And I was thinking like if you look at these stars every single night and they like were in the same spot, they move across the side in the same way.
Starting point is 00:23:49 And then all of a sudden like this. meteor shower started happening, I can totally see how people are like, there's a war in the heavens. The end of the world. Oh, it's like, yeah. I mean, it looks, it looked crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:02 It looked crazy. Like crazy, seeing them, just the scale of going across the entire sky, like knowing how big it has to be and how far has to be is insane. Yeah. It is insane.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Yeah. There might be a war going on. It could be. Well, then I thought, I need to ask, I've got a friend who's a flat earther. And I was like, I need to ask him about,
Starting point is 00:24:24 so I was asking him about stars because he doesn't believe in stars. He said they're just like, they're Christmas lights. They're all just like lights. They're like illuminaries. Stars are suns, right? You know what? I actually have a good. But I never, I did not ask him about shooting stars.
Starting point is 00:24:40 I asked him what that is because like, if they're just lights, what are shooting? I have a good disproval for flat Earth. Okay. I was thinking about this the other day. Can't wait to hear this. Can't wait to hear this. Okay, if the Earth is flat.
Starting point is 00:24:52 and I'm in California and I'm flying to Australia I'm flying to I'm flying west I'm flying west I'm not flying east oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:25:08 Australia I think about that if they're just flat you're going to fly across you're going to fly this way well it's not a square huh it's not a square
Starting point is 00:25:19 His, so his With the earth Is flat That means you're not You won't you wouldn't go east to get to Australia Yeah so his His model of flat earth Is that the north pole
Starting point is 00:25:34 Is the middle is the center And it's not really flat It's more like a Kind of like a egg Like a half, it's like a half globe And so the north pole Is the middle So if you're in California
Starting point is 00:25:46 You could go either way To get to Australia because it's like a circle. If it's a circle, it's not flat. It's not flat. No, no, it's a flat circle, like a disk. And like the ice wall, Anarca is the ice wall all the way around it.
Starting point is 00:26:02 There's like a force field. The force field is something's different. I'm so confused. I think it's like middle. Here's Australia. Any flyer. There's whatever else. If you're closer to hear you and fly it.
Starting point is 00:26:13 That way. It's like a ass car. So his map of the world is a different like drawing. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sure there's a flat. Arthur in the comments who can explain there. But his drawing
Starting point is 00:26:23 of the world, of the globe is that the North Pole is in the middle. And then the rest of the Earth is like a circle from the North Pole. And all the way around the Earth is the ice wall, which is what we call Antarctica.
Starting point is 00:26:39 At what point in human history did we realize that the Earth was, that the globe was? Oh, like thousands of years ago. Yeah. But he, the thing that got me though because I was like asking questions. You're not a flat earther are you? No. Okay just making sure. You haven't made a bold
Starting point is 00:26:55 stance yet. No. I'm a globe. I'm a globe. He's a glober. I'm a glover. He's a glover. The thing he did say though, because I was like, I was asking about gravity. He was like, yeah, you believe. So I believe that everything falls down. You believe everything falls to the middle. I thought, man, you got me on that one, buddy,
Starting point is 00:27:18 actually. Interesting. Well, all I know is if he's right. You all just so brilliant over me that I don't even know what that means. The only thing I had to say is in his world that he believes in, I guess Santa is the middle of everything. Well, I don't talk about Santa. He doesn't believe in Santa.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Why, he says in the middle of the map. North Pole is in the center. Yeah. I mean, Santa runs this whole thing, dude. Yeah. That's kind of cool. Flat Earth is crazy. I mean, hey.
Starting point is 00:27:51 It's not something I'm going to die over. Yeah, Flat Earth is crazy. It's crazy. We need to get a flat Earther on here. They probably have had one. Oh, dude. That would be an interesting cause.
Starting point is 00:28:02 I think Hunter's a flat Eartherthor. Dang. Are you a flat Earth? Hunter said he is a flat Earther. I'm going to speak on his behalf. Hunter said, I don't have a microphone. He doesn't have a mic, but he's not a flat Earth. Hunter actually said,
Starting point is 00:28:19 Kristen, do you really think? the earth is flat, baby? Wait, wait, going back to that woman, I think she actually liked you, and that's just the way she is. I can promise you. I think she was flirting with you. Yeah, I mean,
Starting point is 00:28:29 older ladies, like being kind of mean and think it's funny you're young. Like, that's kind of... I can promise you, there was nothing flirtatious about that. I'm not saying flirting, I'm just saying that's an older lady,
Starting point is 00:28:38 just being, that's just how she is, you know? That would be a sweet old, she's just a sweet old lady with an attitude. I can promise you, there was nothing sweet or genuine about it. Wow.
Starting point is 00:28:49 it felt like daggers daggers well you know what you need to grow up I am growing up do you see me crying about it yeah you did ask
Starting point is 00:29:01 because I already did that oh man Bob show us a viral video or something what you got on there what you got on that PC I like that one that boy dick
Starting point is 00:29:12 with the dog the fat dog dang boy hey that boy he's thick boy oh thing oh crap I thought you said something else.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Oh, gosh. Oh, yeah, I forgot to say that. Here we go again. Another great comment. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Another great comment was that someone said the first F word ever was used on the Duck Call Room podcast.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Me. And it was just me. And this one over here had to like text me and she had to re-listen to it. What did I say? Yeah, what did you say? Funky and cool. Yep. That was the second effort.
Starting point is 00:29:51 So I would have said, mm and cool? I think you said, oh, effing cool. Okay. Yeah, that was really funny. A lot of comments about that.
Starting point is 00:29:59 They were fired up on that. Oh, no, they hated it. No, they hated me. Well, you know what,
Starting point is 00:30:04 everybody? You know what? You are fucking cool. I would not say you're effing cool, but you are fucking. Just to clarify. Okay, I will say that,
Starting point is 00:30:15 I mean, I was scrolling through all the comments and stuff, and although they're, are some funny and negative ones. I think most of them are very positive. Yeah, yeah, for sure. We agree.
Starting point is 00:30:25 I think the one that I liked the most was this guy said, I personally really enjoyed this one as a younger guy getting to hear this group talk about their life and the gospel. It's really awesome and encouraging. Consider me down for the Duck Boys podcast. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Not Duck Boy. I don't know about boys. You're going to take boys out of it. Leave it in the comment section, Duck Bros. Or Duck Boys. Well, yeah, or any other name that you can... Yeah, or any other name.
Starting point is 00:30:50 We're not said on duck brids. Can there be a poll in the comments or something? Yeah, just comment. Name our podcast. Yeah, name our episode. Since there's duck call room, should we be buck bros? No. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:31:04 I don't know. We can just be five bros. No, yeah. Five bros. Five guys. Five guys. Five guys, burgers and fries. Jeez.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Let's just call it burgers and fries. Or we can be five. five below. Five below the IQ level. Who? Five. Of a mature man. Five guys,
Starting point is 00:31:25 ducks and bucks. Why are you? I feel like you're forcing it, man. You're forcing it. He said five guys, burgers and fries. Five guys. I was trying to think of what our tagline
Starting point is 00:31:35 would be. Ducks and bucks. Another thing I want to go back to in your story. That was a completely normal. Easy saying bucks. They might think you say something else. For our episode for this, though,
Starting point is 00:31:44 it's going to like tie in the duck call room. That's why it's like Doug Bros, like ties in a duck car room. Yeah, but I'm saying, what if we elevate higher and it's like, you all need your own thing because it's just like, you know, Hunter's like, I can't control. I like Doug Bros, not boys. I'm a 40-year-old man, so don't call me a boy. You're the most boy person here.
Starting point is 00:32:02 I kind of am. I act like a kid, but still. But to go back to the story, I think these names suck. But on the flat of water, is that a case of water? is that a case of water? Is that what that's called? Yeah, you never heard of a flat of water? No.
Starting point is 00:32:19 I just heard a case. I've only heard of a case. You've got a case of water? I thought that's like Australian or something. I've never heard of water. Really? So where did you hear flat of water? Is that like a Destin thing?
Starting point is 00:32:29 That's just what everyone, that's just what... No one says that here. She's shaking her head, yes. Yeah, me too. When I think of a flat, though, I think of like a palette. When I think of a flat, I think of like an apartment. I think of a flat, I think of an apartment. When I think of a flat, I don't think of a flat.
Starting point is 00:32:43 I think of an apartment of water. I think of flat, I think of earth. I'm not going to lie. Like, when you were saying that, I don't think of earth. Yeah, that is great. I think a flat, I think of Jacob's butt. Jeez, that's not true.
Starting point is 00:32:52 That's not true. Obviously, John Reed's right. Yeah, that's opposite. John Reed has no butt. Yeah, Zane is doomed to fall in the toilet. It doesn't matter if the seats down or not. Y'1 for however long this podcast's been going, it feels like they've been around since the beginning.

Yeah, I did actually. Trace cut my hair. I took a selfie after.
Starting point is 00:34:35 You got your haircut today? Hair looks good. Yeah, you cut it this morning. I thought you said yesterday. Yeah, we. Yeah. You liking the short hair. I am like it living up to your AI picture. Huh? Do you have your haircut today? I'm going for the Short, messy beard look, trying to look like Chris Hemsworth and Thor Ragnarok. Would you say he's an idol in your life? I would say he is someone that I idol. I don't think I idolize him. He's an inspiration.
Starting point is 00:35:01 He's an inspiration. There you go. Wait. Who is? Actually, this would be a great. Chris Hemsworth. You know, based off that, that's going to take me down this rabbit hole. Because I know Bobby loves this stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:10 But I have everyone in here, have y'all seen Spider-Man? Yes. I have not seen it yet. Oh, it's so legit. Oh, no. No, Bob. We can't talk about it. It was so good.
Starting point is 00:35:20 I will say that Spider-Man Brand New Day is what? Bobby? Top five. Bobby? I'm just hyping you up. Bobby?
Starting point is 00:35:31 Top five best MCU films. Bobby? And what is MCU? The Marvel Cinematic Universe. I don't see this stuff. It's just like all like the Avengers, Iron Man, Captain of Thor. I will say, at the end of the movie,
Starting point is 00:35:45 it was good and I was like man I wish it kept going like I wanted to keep going the ending was subpar I will say I thought the ending
Starting point is 00:35:54 was great I think it was great to lead into something else I'm saying I was warning the ending was good it could have been great can't do it
Starting point is 00:36:02 who is Spider-Man this time Tom Holland it's Toby McGuire again actually yeah yeah no I think that they did a fantastic job
Starting point is 00:36:11 John Luke if you want to go see it this weekend I know when can we go I know I don't know Gosh, I wanted to bring up that one part in it because it was savage. You can bring it up. Just close your ears.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Yeah, close your ears. You can say it in front of me, I don't care. Okay, well, look, in the movie. He's got it. Look, so this is the savage part. So the whole point in the movie, if you haven't seen it, go see it. It's awesome. The bad person in it is can, like, get into people.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Essentially, kind of a little possession kind of situation. It's mind. It's mind control. Yeah, mind control. So then get into people. So obviously, if you've seen the last Spider-Man, Tom Holland. playing Spider-Man for the safe being of his friends, makes them forget him.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Yeah. And so he's in love with Zendaya. What's her name in the movie, MJ? MJ. MJ. Look, sorry, man. Yeah, sorry. Just put the pieces together, man.
Starting point is 00:36:59 That was a little harsh. I'm sorry. But yeah, so he's in love with her, so but she forgets them. And so they don't know each other, but then the guy gets in her mind. Can you hear it? What? He's plugged into him. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:37:10 So, like, the guy gets into MJ and makes Spider-Man think that she remembers some of the guy. The guy, it's not... Yeah, you're telling me the whole movie now, dude. I don't care. Oh, bro, are you going to go see it? I'm out see whenever it comes out. It's out. What do you mean? Like, on streaming.
Starting point is 00:37:25 On streaming. It's in theaters. It came out in 2008. Okay. John Lodge's ears are open now. Okay. I will say I like the movie that y'all made me go see you the other day. Odyssey?
Starting point is 00:37:36 The Odyssey? O'Dice. Woo! No, that movie was phenomenal. Have we all seen that? You see it's his highest grossing movie ever. Yeah. What did you say?
Starting point is 00:37:43 I didn't see what you all. Me and Bell saw it, yeah, yeah, yeah. It beat the Dark Night. Did it really? Really? Okay. I believe it. It surpassed.
Starting point is 00:37:52 I will say... Oh, another crazy thing about the Odyssey is if you think about it, so the Odyssey came out, Spider-Man came out, Zendaya and Tom Holland were in both of those movies. And John Rutherth. Yeah, that's crazy. It's so gasped. A lot of filming. That's a lot of filming. I'd never thought about that until Bell said that.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Did you see Tom Holland's in the four top? What was it? Tom Holland? is starring in four of the biggest box office movies of all time. Yeah, the top, he's the only actor in the top four. He's the only actor in the top, yeah. He's 30. It's so major accomplishment.
Starting point is 00:38:26 He says 30 years old. Yeah. And him and Chris Sims are the only ones to lead an MCU movie four times. Another fun fact. Okay, hold on. I need to look at Chris Nolan movies because I don't. Okay, I've seen. Inception, Interstellar, Tenet.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Okay, the only ones that I have seen is Dark Night... You've not seen the prestige? I've only seen... I'm telling you the ones that I have seen. The prestige is so good. Dark Night. Dark Night rises.
Starting point is 00:38:51 The Odyssey, Dunkirk. And... Batman Begins? No, I've never seen Batman Begin. What? When did Batman Begin comes up? Will, you're a poser. I was four years old
Starting point is 00:39:03 when ever came out. You got to get it. Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. I would assume you've seen it after you were four. I didn't assume you thought when you were four. Well, I mean, I didn't know. I thought, I mean, growing
Starting point is 00:39:14 up, I thought it was just Dark Night and the Dark Night Rise. No, it's a trilogy. I know, but I didn't realize that I just never had taken the time to watch the first one. I was just like, I like the Dark Night. I've never seen Oppenheimer, never seen Interstellar, Tenet, Inception. You've never seen
Starting point is 00:39:30 Inception? No, I've never seen any of those. Those are great movies. You know what? I was younger whenever I watched Inception, I fell asleep. I was like so much younger than, though. But no, John Reed, you know we haven't talked about. You're fresh. You're fresh from the eastern hemisphere. From Ireland.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Yeah. How was it? Ireland, I love that country. How many times you've been there? Twice. And you took all three kids under seven? A seven. How was Gigi?
Starting point is 00:39:59 How was Gigi? Gigi's four and a half. Hold on. I think Ireland's in the... Wait. North? No. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:09 I just know. In the west? No, it's in the eastern. We're in the eastern. hemisphere. No, we're the west. No, Ireland's in the western hemisphere. It is. It's on this side, straight up. I think we're the west. We are the west. They're across an entire ocean from us, so they're on the east. Yeah, but the line is. Well, if you're a flat earther, then it's opposite. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. How look showing his hand here. I could be wrong. Hey, I could be wrong.
Starting point is 00:40:36 We caught you. We knew we'd catch you. We knew. You're not. You're a flat earth here. So when did you convert? Right now, right now. Right now. In front of us, we got this live on duck. Yeah, you got it. You got it live right now. How many pints of Guinness did you drink in Ireland? Jeez. A couple. Couple.
Starting point is 00:40:57 The first thing I saw him, he had a Guinness, he had a Guinness T-shirt, he cut the sleeves off and cut the neck and had a pint of beer on it. That's the first thing we talked about. I had the smiley face like the vintage. It's cool. I thought it was really neat. Has Guinness in the back of it. So how many times have you been over there?
Starting point is 00:41:11 Twice. I've been to Ireland twice. the first time we did kind of the central say this is the island we did the central part of it more so we drove around from uh Dublin to Galway yeah cross it and then kind of around county Galway and Dublin and then this time we went we did the entire southern part of Ireland which is like
Starting point is 00:41:33 we went to like Kilkenny we went to um Kalarney they all start with caves it's crazy like every town down there did you see any leprechaun maybe you gotta ask Zane about that oh yeah I guess Zane this is did y'all go you went last year or two years ago
Starting point is 00:41:50 years ago years ago I guess we only had two kids when we went Zane could remember it what did Zane like because he actually remember that trip like it's just because it's like mystical and like
Starting point is 00:42:01 yeah beautiful I mean dude talk about God's creation whenever you go there you're like this is nuts every corner you drive in the middle of nowhere you're like it can't get any more beautiful than this, and then you turn a corner, you're like, this is insane.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Every corner has Guinness beer. Yeah. Well, no, we do a lot of in the middle of nowhere. I was joking. But they do, though. It could be in the middle of nowhere. There's like a little pub with soup, bread, butter, and Guinness. I feel like all your pictures, you all just did a lot of walking.
Starting point is 00:42:30 We did. In little towns. But we drove a lot in the middle of nowhere. Wait. A lot. Remember when we went to Denmark and there was that pub there? It was so old. and they said, I forgot who they said
Starting point is 00:42:43 was in there. Those are cool though, you know, you want to go in this place. I think they're beautiful. Yeah, this place was like so old. Yeah, like three or four hundred years old probably. Yeah, and they were saying like all these old people I'm not saying. A fireplace in it, you know, it's just beautiful, yeah. I'm just saying, they were saying, not this person, but someone like, George Washington, you know, ate in here, like saying that. And I was like, oh, that's so crazy to think.
Starting point is 00:43:01 Same in Ireland. Someone in this place. Yeah, it's cool to think about that. It's amazing. Like, it's so much history, you know, in comparison to which Ireland isn't that, it being called. Ireland probably in that old you know what I mean pre that it would have been like Norris like Vikings and stuff oh to come in there Norse mythology and stuff they would all come into Ireland to that's how they got the red hair there the red hair yeah is that true through Norris like Norse people what is that or like Thor yeah yeah that's how that whole DNA got into like
Starting point is 00:43:35 Scotland and Ireland the red hairs from Norris from Vikings like breeding you know and they got red hair yeah yeah Why did Vikings have red hair? I don't know. Nuclear. It was in there, in blue eyes, like, it's, it's very distinct look. I need to be looking. Do you think Vikings, like, help them with, like, way, like, you know, like being, like,
Starting point is 00:43:53 do you think, you think Vikings got sunburn, too? I don't know. Well, it made it to my family because my dad, my aunt, my grandmother, and my grandfather. Dad has red hair? Yeah, he had cherry hair. Really? Blue eyes, too. You didn't know Zane's hair is cherry, too?
Starting point is 00:44:08 Did you know, we did think? My dad's fully gray. I mean, you've only seen him gray. But like, you could think of like our kids, half Asian, like having red hair. That would be so K-pop. Yeah, that's crazy. That would be K-pop for real. Okay, here.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Wait, I want to confirm one thing is that Ireland is located in both the northern hemisphere and the western hemisphere. I'm incorrect. I asked Willie last week. No. Oh, my gosh. I'm just kidding. Go ahead. Go, go, go.
Starting point is 00:44:40 Can't wait to hear this. Do you want to be a duck boy? a duck man. Why am I getting roasted right now? Because we're the comments. We're coming after you. We're turning it on you now. Yeah, I know. All I said was, have we made... Are we making you a whittle? Mr.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Willie, can we go on the hunt together please? Gee, mister. Mr. Please take me on a deer hunt. Do you not talk about this last? No, I'm joking, bro. We said... I said, have you thought about like a brother-in-law hunt this year yet? And he said, no. Then that was it. And did he say, I'm only taking my sons. Get out of here. That was not what he said. You're like,
Starting point is 00:45:19 have you thought about it? He said he was going to think about it. Oh, okay. Like not, I don't think it was like a think about it as in the sense of like yes or no. He gave the impression to think about it as in I haven't thought about it yet. But yes, let me see if we can go do something. He's going to do some brainstorming. Are you sure he didn't say you need to think about it? Well, we, I have stuff planned. I just think it's fun to go do stuff with us. I'm saying, but we, can do that. I mean, we have places to go. We can all go. Like, we went to John Reed's place. Bob didn't come, but...
Starting point is 00:45:48 John Reed was about as reluctant to take us as he possible. We can go. It's fun. I mean, I just want to be on, though. You know what I mean? Like, it's finicky with duck on. I want it to be on for us. You know what I mean? Well, yeah, that's the thing with dad, though. If he invites us, he will be there. But if we invite him, no, he will not. He ain't. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:46:04 that's the thing. He gone. Yeah, he's gone if we invite him. Hey, get them when you can. If you can, we're always still here. I'm saying. We did that like six years in a row. Then last year we didn't do it. Or five years in order or something like that. Did I just see you quiver with your lips? Five years in a row.
Starting point is 00:46:18 It hadn't been nuts like. Yes, it was. We did Texas. No, no. I thought you meant we hadn't done anything. I said, we have done it. I missed a lot of them
Starting point is 00:46:26 because I was moving people over the hemisphere. You know, it's something we haven't talked about. I wanted to ask you all this. Hey, we can't really beat our last trip. This is actually goes straight into that, the Ox Ranch with the show.
Starting point is 00:46:38 I was going to ask, what is y'all's, I can't afford that place. That's why we knew Willie. Leaves me back to this point. Brings me back to our leader. Was that like y'all's favorite time of filming for the two seasons? Yes, definitely.
Starting point is 00:46:57 That was so much fun. And I wanted to ask you about that. I never got the down low on how Jay's taught John Reed how to beat Willie in poker. Oh, yeah, we never got that answer. Yeah, so what's the deal? what's it so we went well for back story we went on a trip to ox ranch in Texas finale of season two it was a finale of season two of duck dynasty we all hunted it was awesome we hung out uh and we played poker and john reed got some mystical wisdom from jase uncle jace in 2008 allegedly put yourself
Starting point is 00:47:33 back i just had come into the family and i went to florida and i don't play poker this is how many years ago 10 years ago and rebecca been married for 10 years So this was 11 years or this is before we were married maybe I went with you. I think. I don't know. I might have gone a year before. You've been married longer than 10 years. Have I?
Starting point is 00:47:53 I've been married to marriage. Hey, I love you, Rebecca. I've been married for 10 years and we didn't get married. Anyway, that has nothing to do with this. Anyway, look, this is a long, this is a decade ago. Forget the math. Forget the math. You need stem cells.
Starting point is 00:48:08 You can't forget the math. So a decade ago or more. and I'm in Florida I don't play poker I never have really I play go fish you know you know a little bit of that's soft oh you know yeah well anyway I sit with jace for like I don't know a day before everything gets going or whatever a consecutive day 24 hours just show a whole day well not a I mean like hours yeah hours good hours um I think I fried chicken that year too you remember I fried chicken for like 70 something people that was crazy anyway hey so you're asking him if he remembers if you fried chicken you can't remember how long you were married. I know, it's crazy. My mom comes in little waves. I remember the fried chicken.
Starting point is 00:48:46 You're good. Keep going on. Don't derail him. I can't remember exactly how long I am married. Anyway, Jay started showing me like how to play poker. I'd never played before. And I guess it just led to like literally I won that pile that year. I won the thing that year, like the hand or whatever it is, the whole, the big thing that year. He did win. Yeah, I won like, you won the big cahoos. He did. He did. He won. He won. He won. He won. He won. He won. He won. He won. He won. by having the luckiest. But the funny thing was is that they all thought
Starting point is 00:49:13 I was just kind of playing like I knew. They're like, you're like, I was like, no, he literally just showed me how to play.
Starting point is 00:49:21 I didn't know how to play. He told you how to count cards in the day. You also had the luckiest card draws I've ever seen in any game of poker in my entire life. That could have been it.
Starting point is 00:49:32 He got dealt the nuts. I could. Every time. I mean, and but then Jace was the one that kept things like, dude, I feel like you play,
Starting point is 00:49:39 like you know, you know how to play. I was like, no, you literally just showed me how to do this. It's not really a crazy story. And so that care... And he took a 10-year hiatus. And then he played again last year at Ox Ranch and somehow won again by having the luckiest hands ever. And then he, he recalled back his jace wisdom. It was really from jace's wisdom. Well, I do that just a little stab at Willie. Because if I bring up Jace on anything, he's like, you know... It was so funny. We were riding back to where we were all staying in. And John Reed's like,
Starting point is 00:50:09 oh yeah jace told me how to beat willie a long time going on a beach trip he was like i'm gonna scald him that's awesome and he did that was the funniest part is you kind of did you kind of lived up to it so it so funny that's what was funny is you actually were winning but yeah but he also still had no idea what he was doing yeah maybe not maybe he would maybe hey maybe john luke's a flat earther maybe he's not john reed would win a hand and he'd be like oh one yeah he would win a hand and not know why he won. Wait, wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, boy, Christian, Christian.
Starting point is 00:50:44 You have no room to talk about poker or how to play poker. Just because I can't shuffle. You don't even, you know, just because I can't shuffle a deck or deal well does not mean I, I, I, I don't know. Or count or no, no. You really, if you really practice, if you really practice, if you just said forget half. It does not take that long. Or just, yeah. I have chubby fingers.
Starting point is 00:51:06 That's what I kind of. I do too. That's what I blame my shuffling on. Chubby fingers. Don't have chubby fingers, guys. Something you can really control. Why is there a Betty White book sitting here? Looks like a salt gun, I think.
Starting point is 00:51:21 No, there's a book under the salt gun. I was going to say, now I'm looking around, I feel like there's a lot of books in here. And I doubt anyone in here read other than you. That's what I'm saying. Who's reading these books? No, I don't know who's reading these books. All size information comes from PBS.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Cy reads? No chance. No way. Yeah, I can see him doing that probably. Don't see Si reading? Don't underestimate Unp. No, can you see him
Starting point is 00:51:46 as I reading a book? I just, I've never heard him say anything about books. I just cannot imagine. What do you think he's getting his knowledge on? PBS. Not. PBS.
Starting point is 00:51:56 I don't know. Cougars. PBS. I don't know. I'm telling you. PBS. He will just can't imagine word for word the TV channel, PBS.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Yeah. It's crazy. It's wild. Hey, you can learn some stuff on PBS. Hey. He's learned a lot from PBS. Flat Earth. Hey.
Starting point is 00:52:14 Will, you be a great person to ask about Flat Earth. We need to have them on here before. Have they asked him about Flat Earth before Hunter? Oh yeah. I know he's fired. What's his take? It's mainly John David that brings it up, but.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Of course it is. That's it. Yeah. Oh, that's too. Okay. Man after my own heart. Does he think someone's actually landing on the moon? He's questioning it.
Starting point is 00:52:38 no butch wilmore who came on he's now convinced oh yeah I forgot about about alien that they did land on the moon uh john david's
Starting point is 00:52:48 he's always been he's always he's always conspiracy he now thinks possible okay I didn't know that
Starting point is 00:52:57 wow you all think they landed on the moon yeah yes it could go either way my fly the earth friend said he could go either way
Starting point is 00:53:05 yes or yeah it could go either way my flyerth friend said the moon does not exist. It's not a rock, it's just a light. Same as the sun. Yeah. We get this guy on here. Who is your friend?
Starting point is 00:53:15 Who is this friend that you're hanging out with all the time? Does this guy think we're on the Truman show? Like, yeah. Really? Yes, no, he really does. Does he think General Electric made that moon for us? Can you say this guy's name? Is that illegal? No, I don't do it. No. It's me. Tried to get you.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Yeah, my good friend, who's a flat. My good friend. This is an alternate personality. His name is Luke John. Lucas John. It's Lucas Johnson. Lucas Johnson. It's Robert John Luke. No, I'm a big believer in science.
Starting point is 00:53:47 I believe in science. I believe in science. Get that a corner out of my face. Get that going out of my face. Tancho. Which one is that? Nach Libre. All right.
Starting point is 00:53:58 First of the day, it is 1st John 1, verse 7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. in the blood of Jesus, his son cleanses us from all sin. Ruth. I think that's so important. Especially, I mean, obviously for all of us, but especially like for men and like how we all need to be in fellowship with each other. We need accountability in each other.
Starting point is 00:54:24 And I feel like we, I mean, it's iron sharpens iron every single day. And we need to be in those groups and all together where we can just stay in the light and, you know, call each other higher, build each other up, call each other out on our sin. I think that's something that is speaking to me a lot recently. And so, yeah, I think I thought of this first because it was a verse of the day yesterday, but it spoke to me a lot. And even just with, I was at a noon prayer deal. And this was spoken heavily on just being purified and being cleansed.
Starting point is 00:55:06 how the light needs to be shown at all times and how we need to bring things to the light every single day. That's good. And you have a tattoo about that, don't you? I do. Yeah. It was like the first tattoo ever. That's what I thought. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:19 This one in Hebrew says expose or like reveal. That one's from Ephesians 5. It says have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. And that was a big part of my testimony as well. And it's funny because I got that tattoo. whenever it was just like the most simple little lesson from camp from chioca and i was a junior counselor teaching the kids about this and i was like holy cow like it like all just like kind of clicked for me but um yeah those the fruit live in the line live in the light
Starting point is 00:55:54 enough said there bob that was good i don't have anything to say on that but uh wait i do i was thinking about that this guy's dumb let me say something no no i'm just about that. I think we can go more on this. I was thinking about that. Just the idea of like being having pure intentions. And I think that's like I see a lot on online like podcaster or people
Starting point is 00:56:17 hear the news or whatever. And like you can kind of tell what they're saying like they don't really believe. It's like there's obviously a hidden agenda there or they're saying something but they're meaning something else. I think that's something like for us as Christians as men and Christians as humans is to
Starting point is 00:56:33 when we speak to be have pure genuine intentions and like say what we mean and say what we believe yeah that's good that's good yeah that was first job one seven you back it up to first job one six not to add more but this is also one of my favorite verses if we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness we lie and do not practice the truth and i think that that kind of parallels to you know what what verse seven says is talking about walking in the light you know as he is in the light um you know that idea. If we say we have fellowship with him, yet we walk in darkness. I think about that from the standpoint of bearing fruit and being a believer that, yes, is walking in the light, is living a life
Starting point is 00:57:13 of confession, repentance. You know, you look different than the unbeliever. Be it, if your life looks just like the world, yet you claim to have fellowship with God, the Bible says that you're lying. You're not actually in a relationship with him. If you are in relationship with him, you will be walking in the light. you won't be in the darkness. And I love the kind of the precursor to verse seven there in verse six. That's good. Good deal. That's a word.
Starting point is 00:57:40 Yeah. Catch us next time on the Duck Bros. Podcast. Peace. Peace out.
