Do you think this is real?
Rascal Flats wants to come on the podcast.
Rascal Flats.
Rascal Flats.
It's what the email says.
Oh, come on.
Them rascals.
Them rascals.
Hunter, I'm going to forward you this email.
Welcome back to the podcast.
Is Brascal Flats even a thing still?
Whoa, man.
What are you talking about?
What are you talking about?
Are they?
No, I mean, like, do they all still like each other?
I just ain't heard nothing come out of them as a group in a while.
I figured they have some falling out.
Rascal flats.
Then bunch of rascals down there in the flats.
I just like to mail it.
If this is a real email,
if this is a real email, we're going to get Hunter on it.
We can ask Mr. Gary himself.
Gary LaVox.
I've met Gary a few times.
He's a big hunter.
He likes a big kid.
Life's a highway.
Yeah.
How, how, how.
Oh, sigh, what did you do this weekend?
Played poker.
Oh, as usual.
Did you serve hot dogs?
Nope.
What?
No, I ain't cooking on yet.
What in the world?
You had friends over and you didn't have dogs rolling?
Bad news.
No, I got to have chili made and all the such stuff.
Hey, it's a big...
You don't have to have chili made.
You need chopped onions, mustard ketchup, relish.
And if you really like your friends, bacon bits.
Not bought from a store.
Chop the bacon up.
Put it in a pan.
That's bacon bits.
Chop to bacon up?
I got a better idea.
They come in to soak up your air conditioner.
Just make all them bring one of them.
those things. And then you ain't got to do nothing but have dogs rolling. Well, I may try that.
Dogs rolling. Yeah. Somebody bring the chili. Somebody bring there. Somebody bring that. And then all you got
do is have dogs rolling. Did you win? You don't look like you want. You don't have that smile like
you had a good time. Here's, because I was up. You was a. Oh. Always I am. Oh, yeah. You are.
You are the stock. And then I get to having fun. And then that's when I lose my money. I've been
enjoying myself too much. There you go.
Well, hey, at least you're honest with it.
But I never have done it for the money anyway.
I do it.
I'm serious.
Well, that's a good thing.
No, I'm serious.
I do it for the fellowship.
Yeah, it is a good place to sit and talk to you, buddies, catch up on things.
Fellowshiping with money.
A bull went to Alabama, bass fishing.
They catch them.
Son did they catch it?
Alabama.
300 and I mean some bulls.
The lake was 26 acres.
Oh.
Oh, a private lady.
Yeah.
And they hammered on what I'm talking about.
Did you ask him for the address?
Well, no, the office for before.
Oh.
I like a private.
I can go see the mayor and get in some of them.
Yeah, I like that.
No, that's Jay Fenton's.
I think it was a Jay Fenton's pond.
Okay.
Which is 26 acres, young.
It's full of big bass.
Big and big.
Hey, we had one of them, I can't ever remember the guy's name.
He's a bass fisherman pro.
You can't eat them back.
He lost something?
Elon Paul Eli Manning?
Paul Eli?
Yeah.
Yeah, he fishes there and he had one of the chandeliers.
About 15, 15 baits.
An A-rig.
Yeah.
And you're talking about, hey, first time, first time a bull threw it out, he brought
in four, four-pounders, 16 pounds of bass on one bait.
Good, great.
E-R-A story.
You can't even eat them bass.
You throw them on the bank of tuneswalk.
around.
Oh, no one.
Yeah, a big one ain't no good.
Mm-mm.
You got to get them bank runners.
They're little yearlings.
Those little spots is the only on the city.
A bass?
Yeah.
That's just for funniesies.
You throw them back.
That keeps Johnny D.
Pay.
J.D., how's Disney?
Y'all, uh...
Man, you know, every once in a while, you have to drive home from Orlando?
No, I flew home.
No problem.
Everybody acts like, I hate flying.
And it's because I did it for so long.
You don't like to fly?
Hate it.
Oh, good.
Didn't enjoy myself at all.
I was in that Atlanta airport, just scowling at everybody.
I did see Oklahoma's backup quarterback sprinting through the airport and his backpack exploded.
He picked it all up and he kept running.
That's a true story.
How did you know it was their backup?
I'm way more impressed that you know it was their backup quarterback.
Who wouldn't know Oklahoma's backup quarterback?
I forget his wife.
I don't even know who the starter is.
I think, yeah.
Hold on.
Let me see.
My buddy Drew's a big Oklahoma fan.
And I consider myself.
Well, I am too, but I don't even know.
Went to Newbauer.
He said, excuse me, excuse me, he's coming down to the elevator in Atlanta.
And his backpack blew up?
And this dude is 6'4-6 and every bit of one of the world's best athletes.
And he took off running for his flight.
And he's running in that corridor down Atlanta.
And I guess his zipper on his backpack was just slowly with every bounce coming down.
He's moving too fast.
I saw it explode.
And I said, oh, man, that's no good.
good. And then I did catch a glimpse of his, he had his name tag on his backpack. Okay. And it said,
number 16, Oklahoma. And so I said, that's neat. What sport? Football. Yeah. Well, he was obviously
when I saw him, I said, well, this guy's got to be a quarterback. Well, he could have been a baseball player.
Nah, he was a football player. Anyway, there he is picking up all his crap and on. Oh, no.
Oh, and you video.
A video. Hey. Hey, go. He's going to be somebody one day when he was a football. When he was a football. He's going to be somebody one day when he
won't have to go through an airport and I fully believe that. And so I needed to say I once saw him
picking his stuff up. He could have left a mess. He could have been a punk. He was in a hurry.
He could have left in all that. Oh, no. I don't know. I was just left. Look, he was in a hurry and he was
very nice to me and my wife whenever he, he shimmied through there. Yeah. And took off running.
Anyway, that wasn't the highlight of Disney World, but it was a fun part of it. Was that on the start or
that was that? That was at the end. That was on way home. But I, like, people were like, how did you get the flight
so perfect. We left Thursday at 6 and I was home by Sunday at noon and I got 40,000 steps a day
between that. There you go. And I ate around the world and I spun in circles and we acted like
children. Any new fun? Any new foods? Oh, plenty of new foods. Well, when you don't have your kids,
I felt terrible. Yeah. But we got to be the side of it. You know, I had to go do the little bitty
kid stuff. There you go. I'd go in Japan and get one of their fancy snow cones.
My kids would be like, no, we got to go, we got to go. And I was like, no, we're going to go.
Do you get that fried ice cream? Oh, yeah, I did. No, in the baguette, when they put it in the
waffle maker, of course I did. They were good. Oh, yeah. They hadn't messed that up yet.
Disney will screw up a lot of things, but as long as they keep putting ice cream in a brioche bun,
I'm on my way. It was fun, though. It was fun, though. Me and me.
and Allison hadn't got to go away.
And I like, we hadn't been on a vacation just us to, I think since 2020.
There you go.
So just you and her went to Disney World.
Correct.
And actually like a bunch of kids.
100%.
But now we're back on the grind and getting ready for all the things.
And what you've taught me is to get my duck stamp at duckstamp.com.
It's the easiest way to do it.
You get on there.
Go to duck stamp.com.
And then you got your federal.
Look, I'm going to be honest.
I don't travel as much as you to duck hunt.
If it's more than 30 minutes away, I ain't going.
But for you, you're going all over the country,
and you got your federal duck stamp right there on your phone
with or without service.
So just go to duckstamp.com.
I could have thought of way more places to go.
You'd fit in the seats now, though.
That's a good one.
You'd really enjoy it now.
I'm telling you.
Yeah.
Got him!
Yeah, you're getting ready to take your granddaughters to Disney.
You didn't even know it, Gav.
Oh, it's a, hey, they put you in a thing
and they spin you in circles and play September.
There's nothing wrong with that.
I love it.
I think I could figure out somewhere else.
Where would you go?
It takes all kinds of going.
Where would I go?
I'd go to the mountains.
Oh, see, I can't breathe up there.
I belong at sea level at best.
So I got to find my fun at sea.
Paulo would want to go to the beach.
No, it's not that close to sea level.
Was it packed?
Yeah, that place is always packed.
But without no kids, you can beat, beep, beep, beep.
Yeah, you can move around, move and shake.
Do y'all do like fast-past since it was you two?
Oh, yeah.
I got that thing figured out.
Just let when your boys are of age just come to me.
What are you talking about?
We all going together.
I'm going let your kids watch my kids and then us four adults can go.
Let's go.
I do love that place.
I don't want to be labeled a Disney adult because I'm not.
I'm just an adult.
that likes going to Disney World
because they got fun.
Doesn't Disney
adult mean you go like
multiple times a year?
You've got a weird obsession.
Yeah.
And it's bizarre.
And you're like pushing kids out of the way.
That's weird.
But you've got a bidet in your house, too.
Oh, now the shots are going back.
He said, you shoot at me, I shoot back.
I like that.
Now we're making sense.
Hey, Saim, we're just going to let these two do this thing.
Oh, I love it.
I love it.
I'll keep going.
We'll get personal.
They need bidets at Disney World, but only in the European parts.
There you go.
I did go to Italy for a bit.
I had some chicken parm.
It was average.
But Allison was excited.
This is what you want to do, girl.
Hunter, take notes.
That's what she wants to do.
Just go for it.
Yeah.
Fire away.
I mean, chicken parm kind of like pizza.
A bad one still all right.
You know?
I had chicken with marinare sauce and cheese.
You can make a bad pizza.
I can do that.
I've never had a lot of pizza.
bad chicken parm or a bad pizza.
Yeah.
It was average at best, but it was good.
Yeah, I mean, it's still fine.
Hunting season is right around the corner,
and do you know the best $25 investment you can make this hunting season?
Yes, I do.
What?
Duck stamp.
Yep, the federal duck stamp.
Look, as hunters, we are always willing to invest in good shells, decoys, and the gear
that helps make a day in the blind better.
And we have to invest in a federal duck stamp, too,
because it belongs alongside that, because it helps protect the places where those hunting
memories happen.
It's required for hunting ducks anyway.
And that $25 also goes towards conserving wetlands across America.
Since 1934, duck stamp buyers have helped conserve more than 6 million acres of habitat.
And getting yours is easier than ever before at duckstamp.com.
You can buy it online.
You carry the digital stamp right on your phone throughout the season.
And you can head straight to the blind and your collectible physical stamp will arrive later in the mail.
Look, and if you're not a duck hunter, don't y'all believe in conserving stuff,
protecting animals, protecting habitat.
Buy a duck stamp.
It's $25 bucks.
You put your money where your mouth is.
Look, $25 may not buy much these days,
but it's still buy something that matters.
Visit duckstamp.com and get yours today.
That's duck stamp.com.
But you had the most interesting weekend of us all.
Did I?
I don't know.
The Expo, that's neat.
Yeah.
But the post I saw you most recently.
Yeah, that's cool, man.
At top.
Where'd you go?
I was in Memphis for the
for the Dux Expo.
It's called DUX, Ducks Unlimited, does it.
But I just happen to notice, you know, our job is to let people know where we're going to be and all that kind of stuff.
So you post on social media and all that.
And I've told you all this.
And I know some of y'all don't believe me.
But I read the comments and messages.
So I try to reply.
I try to stay humble in that way on a lot of that stuff.
And I was reading it Friday night when I got there.
I got there.
Well, I left Friday morning early, pulled up the show over.
and I stepped out of my truck and went into the expo until it was over, you know, one of them kind of deals.
And then I got done and went back to the room, so I'm catching up on all the happenings of the day on social media.
And I noticed there was a lady, a lady named Cheryl, reached out to me that her son, they were planning on coming because they were supposed to be out of St. Jude's.
But they wouldn't let him come because his numbers were still too low.
So he couldn't leave the hospital.
Okay.
That's a bummer.
It was.
And then so I messaged back and I was just like, you know,
hate to hear that.
That's awful.
You know, if there's anything we can do, let us know.
She was like, yeah, she's a mom.
So she just said, would you come visit?
And I was like, am I allowed to?
Yeah, where are you at?
You know, well, they were in St. Jude.
Well, St. Jude is right by the convention.
Okay.
Like it's literally right there.
And so I was just trying to,
trying to make sure I wasn't going to get in trouble or get nobody in trouble.
I was like, well, can I?
I don't know how that whole deal works, right?
Like, I have no idea visiting hours and all that.
But their visiting hours super long.
They're from like 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
And I told her, I was like, well, tomorrow, I said, I will either come tomorrow afternoon
because I have a break in my schedule.
I got a gap here that I can make it.
Well, I said, I got a gap.
I can make it fit or I can come Sunday morning early since y'all open at 7.
So I'll just stay in touch with you.
and yeah i got wrapped up even a little bit earlier on saturday we had a super early dinner we
me and brittany uh ate dinner at like 4 30 because i knew that i wanted to be able to have time to
do this so we went and just grabbed dinner at like 430 like a couple on a cruise ship you know and
there you go and and um and then we i texted charl who's the mom over there on the on the corner of
the picture and um yeah i went to st jude's man went to uh went to see my new friend justice
So, yeah.
That is an amazing place.
Buddy, it's the happiest and saddest place all in one,
all wrapped up in one venue that I've ever been to.
When we was out with my band that we actually did an event, went there,
and spent a lot of time with all the kids.
Yeah.
You sang for them?
No, we didn't do that.
But the thing that got me is 90% of the staff,
it may even be worth.
100.
I had cancer when they was kids,
and then they set their goal to go to college,
get a degree in medical field,
and then come back and work at St.
Jude's Hospital.
It was impressive.
So they have a whole,
they have a whole wall dedicated to the employees that were patients there.
Oh, no.
And so to get to where you go to,
you have to walk through that wall,
or walk through that alleyway that's that wall,
and I just got to look,
and I was like, man, this place isn't.
No, no, we met all of them.
Yeah, yeah, they had.
And talked to every one of them, and I said,
wait a minute, let me get this straight.
Yeah.
I said, you battle cancer when you was a kid,
and then what did you choose to do?
Yep.
You choose to do the rest of your life
to learn medical stuff so you could come back
help them? I said, dude. It was a cool place, man. It was. It is amazing. I was, uh,
I realized like one of them deals with our platform. I was like, yeah, I'm going to have to do more
of this. This is, uh, this is a beneficial thing and it is, but it is a super cool place.
I love the fact like, uh, you know, most doctors you call by their last name, right?
Like a doctor so and so, doctor this, that not there. They call every, everybody calls each other by
their first name and there's no,
there's no doctor.
They're big on saying.
It's like,
it's like,
hey,
there comes Stephen.
Yeah,
when you come in,
oh,
Steve?
It's one big family.
Yeah,
it was,
I thought that was really cool.
And like,
they have a whole floor there where there are no doctors or nurses
allowed that's like a play floor for the kids.
So like,
no doctors,
no nurses on one whole floor of it.
It's just an area for the kids.
Like,
go be kids.
Um, and they're tearing down a bunch of it and rebuilding it.
Man, it is, I was, I was impressed.
I, you know, we've all raised a bunch of money for St. Jude's and done all those things.
But that was my first time ever being there in person.
Randy's big and, uh, Randy Owen, Alabama's lead singer.
Yeah.
He's big with St. Jude, him and his wife.
Oh, yeah.
And, and just, you know, they, uh, the people are, you know, he wrote a song about there.
There's angels among us.
well there's a bunch of y'all put in in st jude oh yeah yeah jane and the employees yeah
yeah i was doing pretty good till i walked by room and you know the kid was in great spirit
smiling but they smiled at me as i was walking by and they were in a crib and i was like oh yeah
i i need to get out of here because if not we're going to have like clean up on aisle two over here
i'm going to just ball crying everywhere you know because like i saw my kid like you know me my kid
kids are just out of cribs.
And I was,
I mean,
I look over there and there's a kid in a crib hooked up to everything that you can imagine.
And I'm just like,
what in the world am I looking at here?
And so it was,
no,
it was super cool,
man.
The,
the staff there were phenomenal.
Um,
my new friend Justin,
um,
he,
he did get to go.
He got to move out of the hospital yesterday.
Okay.
And go to,
you know,
they have different,
you know,
We've all probably heard them like Ronald McDonald houses.
Yeah.
Well, all these brands up there sponsor different houses.
So he's in the Target house.
But I also saw, I also saw like coming in there were other brand people would hold up their past coming back in.
And it said like, you know, I mean, name it, Coles house.
Like there were just a bunch of different brands that sponsor houses for these families to move out, that they can go stay in whenever they have to.
And no charge.
No charge.
No money involved.
But it lets them get out of the.
the actual hospital.
So there's a bunch of different houses up there?
Oh, yeah.
That's cool.
Yeah.
Oh, you,
if,
I mean,
I don't know,
I'm sure it's very expensive,
but there could be a honeyhole house
if you wanted to,
I'm sure.
So it's like,
but it's really,
I'm just going to keep buying my ticket
to win the dream home every year.
I bought it every since my mom started selling them things
because my mom,
that's the other thing.
I was telling them,
like,
mom's been up there a handful of times because she's some,
you know,
they have these little local sorority,
like chapters and stuff.
And that's all their deal.
was was to raise money for St. Jude's. So they ran a lot of the St. Jude's dream home stuff and
all that. So I still ain't won that thing, but I keep buying a raffle ticket for it. But no, it was,
it was awesome. Dang. Target has a house up there that has a 100 fully furnished apartments,
gyms, and play areas. And it's been there for 25 years. Yeah. That's cool. Yeah. So, yeah,
they were going through all that stuff. And I was like, holy cow. But he's, yeah, he still has to go get infusions.
like every day right now because they're and Justin I keep I want to say Kibb he's not a kid he's
21 which he's one of the rare cases where he was there yeah under age everything was fine
you know got rid of everything everything was good and he's relaps I mean I hate to say relapse I don't
know it's he's got there's a word for that yeah we're none of us know it yeah he's got he's got
cancer again and so with him being that
and his oncologist still being on staff there,
they let him come back at 21 to still be treated there.
I think relapse works.
Recurrence.
Recurrence.
There we go.
I always won't say relapse, but I know it ain't.
Remission, recurrence, and cure.
There you go.
He's at a recurrence.
Yeah.
So he was in remission for a few years and it come back.
And so now he's getting treatment again.
Yeah, once you're in a hospital like that,
they'll let you go over.
Like Carter will probably go to his doctor well past when he's 18
at the Children's Hospital in New Orleans.
I'm sure, yeah.
I'm sure he'll go till that doctor's no longer a doctor.
Actually, I think that doctor just retired.
Yeah.
It's hard to keep up there.
Whoever's seeing him, I'm sure.
So I thought that was really cool, you know, that he was a 21-year-old.
I mean, to me now being 41, he's still a kid.
I mean, he's 21, but 21-year-old.
Are they not kids?
We're old, Martin.
Oh, we're old.
Oh, that's why I tell everybody at that Expo.
I'm the old guy now.
I walk in there and I see how it is.
And I'm like, I'm looking around.
I'm like, where are my, oh, wait, I am, though.
old guy. Like, never mind. My bad. Okay. All right. Everybody's getting long tooth running this joint.
I guarantee you, buddy. When the young guy's 41, we got a problem. You know,
but it was cool, man, seeing all the people to celebrate and duck hunting.
Was it good? Good show. Oh, man, a bunch of people.
Martin, remember that time that I accidentally had to buy like 13 bottles of wine because I had a

Do people call you Mr. Martin?
There were some.
Do you like it when people hit you with the mister?
Man, if they're a kid, you know what I think?
I don't like being called Mr.
but I love that their parents have taught them respect.
Yeah.
And I can appreciate.
And I'm not going to change that because I know their parents have taught them.
So you know all those people say, don't call me, Mr.
And I'm like, no, man.
That's what your parents taught you.
Do it.
I was that guy for a while.
I didn't like when people would say like, yes, sir, no, sir, because I was like, I'm still 24.
Yeah, you're not.
I'm not.
No, you're not.
But now I like it.
Yeah.
I'm like, yeah, that's right.
Put some, respect on my name.
Put some sir on Mr. John David.
Hey, that's ingrained in you.
from childhood.
Oh, I still called.
Oh, it wasn't me.
Oh, yeah.
Because I still do it now.
Absolutely.
It's just a lot of,
or no, sir.
A lot of folks don't do it.
Oh, hey, it's just, that's the way I am.
Mostly rural kids, small towns.
Big cities, they don't.
Don't seem that way.
They just messed out too much.
Well, that's just.
Rush and Fudge.
For me, that's just mutual respect of one
human being for another.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And the world misses it, okay?
Big time.
The world's missing mutual respect
for one another?
Yeah, they have.
Well, no, no, because, hey, look at the hatred,
you see.
When it should be, it's just the opposite.
See, you need to go to Disney World.
Everybody's just happy to be there.
Well, no, no, I'm not.
I'm serious.
I'm serious.
Yeah, just take it.
everybody's in a,
I call them a sour-puss mood.
Yeah.
Everybody's always mad.
And hey, you ain't got to,
you really don't.
If you live in the United States of America,
you really don't have the reason to be that way.
That'll preach there.
That's just my point.
You're in the greatest country in the world.
Now, I can see it somewhere like in the Middle East
over there somewhere.
I can see you have.
having a sirepuss attitude.
Okay.
I like how you were in the Middle East.
I was going to say France.
Well, hey.
Not the Epcot, France, because that France is awesome.
You have a variety of choice here.
That's, you know, and you're blessed and in the United States of America.
Yeah.
Well, there's a lot of places.
That shouldn't be funny.
Yeah.
It is.
It is.
Well, that's true.
I don't know.
Country.
Yeah.
I mean.
I know.
I'm not,
that's why I said it shouldn't be funny,
but it really is.
When Willie took me to Peru,
I was like,
oh gosh,
I should never complain again.
And then,
you know,
a week later I was complaining
about my air conditioner probably,
but.
Yeah.
Good grief.
No,
no,
but you think,
we got it good.
The soccer.
The soccer.
You know,
the soccer thing
that come to the United States.
Yeah.
World Cup.
You were into it there.
You forgot the name.
And we've got all these people
from other areas.
coming into the United States of America,
and all of them are just blown away about how great we really have got it.
And then we've got people in our own Congress that are bad bouncing the USA.
Yeah, well, that gets likes of clicks.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Just good grief.
Yeah.
No, I get it.
Yeah.
It is what it is.
Same reason Hunter title some of these podcasts, what he does.
Watch and clicks.
What?
That's right, Hunter.
Hunter,
I'll give you one, Hunter.
Sophie Cunningham rules.
The duck call room chimes in.
Phil used to preach on it all the time.
You ain't seen that?
There is no true appreciation of what you've got.
No.
The human race.
It's always, oh, woe is me.
Pity party, pity party, pity party.
Yeah, get on them, son.
Hey.
Tell them how it is.
I'm in a fabulous mood.
You know what they asked?
You know the number one question I got asked at that Expo, though?
Is Uncle Si really like that?
Well, it did involve Si.
No, that ain't, you know.
Has sigh thrown the slingshot?
No.
These people are invested in the slingshot.
I get that a lot.
I got to do with John Luke because he's supposed to be giving me a piece of leather.
Like used to, when I was home, with all the kids.
Okay, there's a big old boot that somebody's thrown away.
I can take tongue out of it, make the slingshot.
Do you want me to text John Luke right now?
Or it's got to be a vintage.
Tell him, hey, where's my piece of a other?
I actually think he's here.
Is he here?
Sight said, I need leather.
Where's my leather?
Him.
You're going to bail, John?
Weather.
Do what?
Yeah, he's going to take the ones I have and I bought him and replace the leather.
Yeah, I'm going to place the leather.
Why?
It's got, hey, it's got to be real soft for it to fold.
Yeah.
He would text you, but he has no phone.
Is it not soft?
I have no idea.
When I order two slings shots for $25 off Amazon, I don't know what it is.
It may not even be leather for all I know.
I just brought them and handed them to it.
Well, I think it's a cheap piece of leather that they sold together.
And now you want a tongue out of a boot where you cut about about four inches, maybe six inches.
I was going to say John Luke said I owe him what?
Wait, yeah, John David texted me because I doesn't have phone
so I'm in here and call to ask you what you mean and what you want.
He needs his leather for his slingshop.
I want a triple leather about three inches wide and about six inches long.
He's going to make a slingshop.
I got to make slingshop because all the fans are waiting to see how I'm still out.
Oh, we're going to make that slingshot.
Oh, yeah.
There you go.
You can't just throw anyone.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
I know you can't.
Hold on,
because it's got to be aerodynamic.
Oh, yeah.
Uh-huh.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Three miles.
But, hey, you got to think about this.
Three miles.
He looked it up on, on, here on the computer, and we watched the guy.
Mm-hmm.
Hey, he slung one, and look, it was 165 miles an hour.
And look, he was just doing it one time.
Hey, I do mine like a helicopter warming up.
Woo-poo-poo-poo-poo-poo-poo-w.
Oh, hey, I think I'd throw it at 200 miles an hour.
Special rock?
We got a fine one in a...
Oh, no.
He's got them.
He's going to get them out of stone's firebed.
No, no, I got a whole yard of rock, okay?
Because I've already looked at them.
First thing I said when I met stone and went in his house,
I looked at the rock bed and I said, boy, there's a lot of good slink slot rocks here.
They're flat.
that round
well hey
you know and I can't believe
like we have slingshots
to regular time
hold all I got a question
I just real
is this the first time
you've heard of get him leather
because he's been putting this
on you the whole time
no no we talked about it
okay all right
I just making sure
because I'm just trying to figure out
if my man's over here
playing a long game
what he needs to find
that somebody's got a pair of old
lace up boots
just got the long song
That was it, because it's not just leather.
Uh-oh.
It's a little.
We did it again.
Yeah, just walk around with it.
Yeah.
It'll be fine.
It's not just leather.
It's not just leather.
It's got to be soft.
It's got to get you some to coval.
We're going to have to get Takovas to send an extra pair of boots.
There we just cut it up.
It's to covas, yeah.
Yeah.
Well, hey, the lace-up type.
Lace up type.
And it's the tongue.
We'll make our own tongue.
Yeah.
I'm confused.
Oh, if I find a pair of boot, old boots, I can make it right quick.
And since I got you in here and got you on the spot, I need a bag of coffee.
Okay.
I need a right down the list.
Put you here, buddy.
I would like eggs since we're recording.
All right, we've got eggs.
We've got.
Wait a minute, hold.
I can, I can end it.
Is there a leather shop around here anywhere that anybody knows of?
I can find, I'll find some weather.
I think I've got some.
We've got to find some weather.
I think I can.
Well, no, no, because I want two things.
Okay.
Uh-oh.
Okay.
I won't, I want, uh, oh.
I'm about to go TT.
It's about the size of a trotline nylon.
Oh.
At that side.
Mm-hmm.
But I want it to be leather.
You want to start.
What?
I want to be leather.
Grangs?
Well, I can make a loop, put around my finger because it won't, it won't catch no air.
Too small.
Oh, you need, okay.
You just need some tired string.
He needs leather corded.
and he also needs leather.
Yeah, and the leather
leather flap.
You didn't buy nothing.
I ain't get nothing.
I just got a good blueprint.
No, no.
Then we've got to find us
Hey,
then we've got to find us
somewhere to go.
I guess we can go out
on Willie's farm.
For what?
To throw it.
You can throw it in my yard,
buddy.
I said the honeyhole parking lot of work.
I don't have to win now.
Let's see where we can
hit.
Hey,
you ever see this show Duck Dynasty?
Throw it in this warehouse.
Well,
we got to have some.
It'll end up in Toulola.
just in case.
No, we only need $60.
I guess I can sling it like toward the railroad track.
Three miles.
There you go.
You could.
There's a right away right there.
You probably won't make it, but you can sling it towards the road.
Oh, hey.
Look at it.
You're going to be shocked.
I'm serious.
You're going to be shocked at how far I can't throw this.
I love talking trash.
I'm serious.
It's so fun.
The man struggles with a lot of things, but not confidence, buddy.
Oh.
Well.
You know everybody in this room, ma'am, we're all believers, and we all believe that, you know, life starts in the womb.
And it's easy to say, man, there's other people that are take care of that.
But right now, we are living in a defining moment in history.
Right now, a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy can order the abortion pill online before anybody has the chance to tell her she's loved.
She's not alone.
And there's still hope.
And that's why people like us are needed.
We were made for moments like this at Pre-Bor Network,
clinics, mothers are met with compassion, practical support, and a free ultrasound. And when a mother
sees her baby and hears that little heartbeat for the first time, fear can turn into hope. In fact,
more than 80% of abortion vulnerable women choose life after seeing their baby on an ultrasound at a
pre-born network clinic. This is our chance to stand up for those who can't speak for themselves.
Just $28 provides one life-saving ultrasound and $140 can help rescue five babies.
And, you know, I remember even being married and hearing those heartbeats and finding out that the test were positive and all that, man, it gives you an overwhelming feeling, right?
Because you've never been a parent before in our case.
Together, we can save lives one heartbeat at a time, dial pound 250 and say, baby, that's pound 250.
Baby.
Or give securely at preborn.com slash.
That's preborn.com slash duck.
Speaking about, I've got my grocery list, so I'm out.
He literally does have a list.
Thank you for top in my time.
Hey, I'm good.
I don't need anything, though, because you got twins.
So I get what you're going.
Nah, it'll be fine.
You know what you did to get those.
Oh, boy.
Wow, what a lie.
He just got walking in there.
Yeah, he was barely nearby.
I thought he was here.
I texted him and he said, I am what?
And then he just walked in the door.
No, no.
I was somewhere and someone walked up to me.
Oh, it was at Jackson.
I'm going to say, hey, when are you going to throw the,
throw the, uh, I,
thank you out of two miles.
I kid you not.
I was somewhere between, asked that between probably 75.
Oh, no.
I believe it.
Oh, everybody's waiting.
Hey, yeah, because the guy said, he said, I think you can do it.
I said, I'm pretty sure I can get it a mile and a half.
I'm shooting for two, though.
That's all you need is a hype man.
I'm saying you
Oh, man
I think you can do too
We gotta get somewhere
If we can see too much
I know
I wish we was
Close to Red River
Red River would be perfect
Go over
Drive on the cliff
And I just
Hey buddy
Can I tell you something
They ain't priced me out on gasoline
To haul you over to Red River
I'll haul you over if that's where this is going to be
Well hey look
We can do it in this room
Hey, look, because we can do this.
We can stand on that cliff,
and we can get it where it's, uh,
if we're up there.
And that's probably, that's probably two miles.
And I can throw it to where the river bends.
Just around the river bend.
Uh-bar,
and we can actually,
hey,
when we actually will bonoction somebody be a couple of buckles and see it splash.
What did you?
And said, hey, he threw it all the way to the curve, boys.
I will go stand on the curb.
And I will risk my life to be there when it's right.
Well, hey, it'll go through your heads, huh?
I'll stand halfway.
I'll go get out there in a boat like a power.
You are over your head.
You ain't heard this thing cranked up when it gets to go on.
Since that person, shit.
Remember, hey.
How you make it go where it's supposed to go?
He don't know.
How you make it go straight?
Because you just, when you come around,
let it go.
What was that?
You got the string,
you got the string right here between your fingers.
You get it going so fast,
and then when you bring it forward,
let it go.
And then the string goes out,
and the rock takes off.
I wonder if you could kill a deer with one of them.
If you could hit him,
yeah.
That boy that I sent the video of.
He could hurt a deer.
He could, he.
Oh, no, he could all,
it'll kill a deer.
He was...
You'd have to be hit.
Hey, them rocks.
Buddy, huh?
Hey, them rocks.
I think he could stop one's heart hitting it behind the shoulder.
He'd through that thing so hard.
No, you'd have to hit him in his head for killing.
You probably wouldn't, you know, you might break a shoulder if you didn't in his shoulder.
I don't know.
Well, how do you think?
165 miles an hour?
A rock the size of this that was flat?
How many feet per second is a 165 mile an hour?
That's a computer question.
I could do the math, but computer can do it a lot quicker.
I am.
242.
Yeah, that's 242 feet per second.
Mm-hmm.
My bow shoots faster than that.
That's what I've been trying to say.
Boy, you're talking about just, you're still...
In every argument we've ever had this room,
I take aside, and this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this is, a, a bow shoot.
Mine shoots 280.
For second?
Yeah.
300 to 350 feet per second.
Okay, 300, 350.
Crossbow, she's faster than that.
Yeah, okay.
Maybe Christian can bring us crossbow again.
Didn't that what he had to do on that episode?
You could do the math on that.
Oh, it was.
300 miles an hour.
Your average kills with the crossbows, no shame.
Oh, I was like, you raised up at a angle.
Well, that's fate.
It ain't miles an hour.
I don't know how many miles an hour.
Well, I know, but how far it would go.
If you done it at an angle like this.
And let one go at 300.
It probably goes.
I actually think Dude Perfect just did this.
200 feet, 200 yards.
A lot of, a lot of fair.
A lot of bad.
A lot of bad.
No, that's right. No, I don't go way further than that.
I think, hey, the guys are throwing a javelin on a 200 yards.
Nobody's ever thrown a javelin though 200 years.
Hey.
I seriously got to pee, man.
Y'all do that.
I can't, I can't hold it anymore.
He got to go take a leave.
Go take a league.
It's the first time, man.
Hold on, but for real.
Tyler Tony
I'm
Hey
Guinness
Book of World Records
has the furthest
archery target
hit
obviously Tyler Tony
the greatest
athlete of all time
at
183 feet
which is 330 meters
would you like me
to send you the
dude perfect
YouTube video
that's 300
that's a half of a mile
yeah that's over 300 yards
half a mile
half a mile
half a mile
And you say I can't throw a rock a mile?
He shot an arrow half a mile.
Well, I know, but hey, I can throw a rock a mile.
You're a slingshot?
I thought it was two.
I'm shooting for two.
I may not put it off.
That's pretty long way.
Two miles a long way.
It is.
Look, so he had to have a special bow made.
What pound?
With 93 pounds of draw.
Okay.
Which is insane.
Well, no, no, because my buddy, his, his was an 80 pound.
80 pounds is what he, I couldn't even pull it back.
I couldn't even put it back.
I used to shoot 70 pounds, but I'm shooting 62 pounds.
Well, no, no, because I, hey, I couldn't even pull his 80 pound bow back.
And it was one of them, like they got today.
This was a regular boat.
Recurred.
Yeah, recur.
And when he shot the balloon, the arrow was in the air.
air for like 10 seconds.
Oh, it's moving now.
Right.
Yeah.
Okay.
You feel better?
Do you feel better?
Sorry.
I do other than somebody here needs to have their gut checked or something.
I blew that thing to smithereens for.
I went out.
Good night.
That was a little risque, eh?
But I had to pee so bad.
I couldn't even bail on it and go find another one.
I would have just went outside.
Yeah.
Oh.
Oh.
All right.
What did y'all get to?
Well, we watched the greatest athlete of all time.
What's his name?
Bo Jackson?
No, Tyler Tony.
Oh.
Are your kids in the dude perfect yet?
Nah.
Oh, man, you're just going to wake up to that guy screaming with excitement every morning for like two years.
But he's a good fella.
Oh, he's a great guy.
Love Jesus.
But eventually.
You'll get tired of him.
He's just screaming.
Yeah.
And your kids are watching it every day before you wake up.
And he, I mean, he makes a trick shot and he screams.
Nice. Here's the thing about a jail.
He holds the record for half a mile.
Oh, hey, here's the thing about a javel him.
He hit a target?
That half a mile.
Really?
93 pounds of draw, or just size triceps.
Well, no, no.
You said a javelin couldn't be thrown 200 yards.
I know for a fact it can't.
Here's the thing when you're throwing it for competition.
You've got to stick it in the ground.
If it hits it slides, no, no good.
Are you trying to tell me that you can throw it 200 yards by sliding?
Well, no, no, I'm telling you, okay, if you throw it correct,
It will cut the air right and stick in the ground.
Okay.
Or sticking a judge.
Okay.
Or stick in whatever you stole it at.
I've seen that.
So if I...
But I'm pretty sure, okay.
He way about throwing it 200 yards.
But I know good grief, you know, Bradshaw, he threw the javelin 150, 150 yards.
So if I told you that the world record was set in 1996 and it was 107 yards.
well hey
that's y'all beat down i'm telling
wolf
how far did they throw it on
revenge of the nerds he beat out
while he was at tech i'm telling
remember the guy
he had
he had come with the floppy javelin
floppy javelin
i've never seen revenge of the nerds
oh
you gotta add that one to your list man
it's very
light aluminum is what that stupid thing
is made out of
Terry bradshaw did have the
national high school record.
So I'm not trying to take away from the man.
For a havelin? For the havelin.
Yeah. And as a high school javelin
thrower, he threw it way further than me.
What did you throw? Considerably.
158.
I told you.
Feet. Feet.
158 feet.
Terry Bradshaw's high school record was 244 feet, which is in 80 yards.
Insane.
80 yards?
I've never.
nobody was even close to that.
I won.
I told you he could throw a, he could throw a javelin.
Now that's chunk of a, that's chunk of a spear.
That's chunking a spear.
How much do they weigh?
Not much.
There's a weight.
There's a weight.
It's super thin.
It's super thin and it's like a lot of loom.
And then your elbow will pop for the rest of your life anytime you do any.
Oh, no.
Really?
Mine does.
Or form or.
I don't feel it.
I don't hear it, but everybody sitting beside me says,
You got a lot of popping?
You hear that?
Is that your elbow?
Is that your,
they keep asking me that.
I said,
I don't hear it.
But I can't hear how I pecky.
My elbows and my ankles pop a lot.
We had a recliner one time.
It squeaked, I guess.
Oh, I remember that one.
All I kept saying, you got an oil left thing.
You got to quit that.
I never heard it.
I said, how am I going to fix it?
I said, okay, it's fixed.
I don't hear it.
Good.
Yeah, I remember that one.
Those were.
Those were.
We got rid of it.
Those were facts.
I remember that one.
According to the Guinness Book World Workers,
the farthest American football thrown into a target is 50 yards.
Oh, wow.
That's into a target.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You want to know who did it?
Yeah, it to a hole.
Terry Braschow?
No, Tyler freaking Tony.
I'm telling you, he's the greatest athlete of our generation.
Who?
Tyler Tony.
Dude, perfect.
You're missing out, buddy.
Never heard of you.
He really is the greatest athlete.
Maybe of all times.
He would maybe come do this show.
I'd like,
and them DMs, have you?
I invited a dude perfect outdoors is a thing.
I was like, that's our shot.
That's our shot to be my kid's hero.
He looks like a baseball player.
He had a mullet at one point.
We'd probably have to,
there's,
Adam knows him pretty well.
So we'd have to go through La Roach.
Yeah, Adam and La Roach.
That's who he looks like.
I'm pretty sure.
He knows him pretty well.
If you invited him duck hunting, he's in.
man I don't mind
if I invite him duck hunting
I just don't want to do no trick shots duck out
just put your shotgun on your shoulder and kill him
no he's an actual
he he kills
no I know that but I'm saying I don't want to have to set up
nothing where we try to kill one at 220
yards or something
oh he doesn't do that
yeah his trick shots all involved frisbees
basketballs footballs
what's his greatest you've obviously seen him
what's the one that you were like whoa
he made one from like the top of the tower
in Vegas
the what
the Vegas
Vegas Strat, is that what it is?
He shot a shotgun off there?
No, he shot a basketball.
I don't think he shoot guns in Vegas no more.
He shot a basketball from 856 foot up,
and it went in the goal.
For real?
Yeah, it took 900 tries.
They quit a couple days because they almost murdered people
that were just walking in the parking lot.
Because you really don't have any control over the ball.
He shot out how long?
Is he just dropping it straight down?
Oh, no, there's an art to it.
No, but I'm saying,
Is that was, how far was the goal from like where he was?
I don't know.
890-something feet.
No, I'm like this.
Oh, it was on the roof too.
Oh, okay.
But a different roof.
Well, I was just off of the roof.
Ah, there was.
Yeah.
Roof to roof.
Yeah.
Okay.
But it, no, no, it was far.
Like, it took it like 10 seconds to get down there.
We can't watch that, can we?
We can watch it?
We can watch it.
Oh, good.
Showed up there then if you, if it's close.
Oh, fair say.
Yeah, it's only 21 seconds.
Watch this.
This is the greatest athlete of our generation.
He's got a small basketball.
Oh, he's just dropping it.
You go do it.
Well, I'm paying, he's just dropping it.
Oh, my goodness.
Watch this.
No.
My children cried tears of joy when that went in.
Did he call bank?
And I did too.
Did he call bank?
No, he didn't.
Oh, I don't know.
Oh, my ass basketball shot.
He just dropped it.
Yeah, he just dropped.
No, that's a shot.
You got to put the right in on it.
It's jumped off.
You got to use the physics.
Well, I know, but he's just dropping it at an angle.
It took me way too long to find the goal.
That's because the goal's not even on the screen.
That's what I'm saying.
Them dudes from, he just dropped it straight down.
Hey, I will give you, it's impressive.
Then he made it, okay?
He had the record, then them Australians that kind of do the same thing as them broke it.
Uh-oh.
And so then they said, well, we're just going to go crazy one that'll never be broken.
Yeah.
And I'm going to do it if it takes a thousand times.
And it took about a thousand times.
And it took a time, you know, 900 something.
That's incredible.
But it was a shot to make it in the goal.
That's incredible.
Wow.
Well, that took a long time to go trade the ball and go back up there.
Yeah, who brought the balls back?
That would make it way more impressive if they did it with one ball.
Yeah, make it take it.
But when it hits the street, it's funny.
there's like a whole 30 minute episode on it okay it's worth a while your kids aren't quite once it hit
the ground without any interference how far does it bounce 34 oh that's a good point especially if it hits
concrete it did many times that's what Vegas is yeah I would like to see that ball when it hit
imagine playing the wind I bet you it flattened out and then that's how it has bound I mean I've been to
Vegas a lot the wind blow
out all time.
You gotta figure it would do what a balloon tire does on the drag racer
when they hit the gas.
It shows it buckle.
Oh, flattened.
Yeah, just flattening.
Then when it finally grabs and turns loose,
it comes, you know, balloons.
I don't know how they lock them tires to the rim.
Oh, make them hold on there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's interesting.
That's a lot of horses.
Honor, what did you do this week here?
Oh, hey.
Nothing as cool as whatever Tyler Tony was doing.
I was watching the news, though.
He went over.
We wake you up.
A little bit.
Yeah, caught him off guard.
Hey, I'm watching the news the other day.
I've been watching these jets take off from the carriers over in Iran.
Yeah.
I talked to a guy that's got a drag racer.
Yeah.
We got to talking about, geez.
Yeah.
I didn't know when a one of them,
F-35s land on a carrier
they land at full throttle
when that hook grabs them
they put it to full throttle
in case it doesn't it misses so they take off
I didn't know that
that's why them suckers stop at like two seconds
that's a good point
how many geez is that
I got good breath
all of them
seven seven seven
me and Allison saved the
Galaxy this weekend on four separate occasions.
We hit 2.4.
But how would you like to be going 600 miles an hour?
While listening to Kong.
And then stop in two seconds.
Good night.
I'll save the galaxy.
How come your brain don't go widen up?
I can't believe that their body can't take that all the time.
The pilots.
I think you've got to train for that.
Yeah, but it's bound to be roughly.
That's why they're 19 years old because they've been.
Well, that's, we can ask, we gotta get Butch back and ask him.
That's what he did.
Yeah, that was Butch's deal.
Navy pilot, man, well, what else we got to do?
We did it again.
We, we made another.
We did it again.
We didn't name check email.
Did we need to?
But you've been gone.
No.
Okay.
I said, no, let's talk.
What's the all my going to send us away with us?
Hold on.
Let's read the verse and move on, he said.
Well, I actually am going to do an email.
It goes along with the verse.
Oh, your email?
Well
Are you going to read it?
Godgum it.
Oh no.
It's gone.
I'm pulling up.
I have a verse that I want to do.
Old Testament verses.
That goes with the email I want to do.
Email.
We had Jeremy email in.
Jeremy's had a tough, tough go.
We'll just say that.
He said he needs our prayers again.
He was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer.
has spread to his spine, lungs, brain, and jaw.
He is currently in the James Center at the Ohio State University.
He's from Ohio.
He put the Ohio State University awaiting a long spinal surgery.
Should be going back in a couple hours.
He sent this since the last time we recorded.
He has a long recovery and many rounds of treatment.
He just said, duck call room and unashamed a lot to him through all that.
And I know you talked about meeting your friend, Judge.
over at St. Jude,
man, life can get tough sometimes.
And I hope we put a smile on your face
if you are going through tough times
with all of our silly talks about how far we can throw
or shoot things or Tyler Tony being the greatest athlete.
Allegedly.
We ain't proven this yet.
Allegedly.
But the one thing I hope you hear is Psalm 103,
verse 2 and 3.
He prays the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all our sins and heals all your diseases.
The Lord can heal it.
If he doesn't choose to heal it, he'll heal it when you get to see him face to face.
If you don't have Jesus, I don't know how you get through this life.
Especially that kind of stuff.
Well, if you do have him, you want a day he's going to give you a brand new glorified body.
Amen to that.
So Jeremy, we'll be praying for you.
Everybody listening.
I hope you pray for Jeremy too.
see y'all next time okay bye
here. Well, see you later.
