That's pretty wild.
We're watching a man throw a rock with a sling at a cruise ship that blows up.
That explodes.
And size's reaction was that pretty far?
Because it took it a while to get there.
So you did.
You do realize that's fake, right?
Well, I know.
Okay.
All right.
Praise God.
I know.
Because there for a minute.
I was.
We were worried.
I mean, AI does have a tendency to pray on people born like.
pre-1960.
It's a crazy world we live in.
It really is.
They shot the engine room.
With a rock.
With a rock.
He shot the engine room with a rock.
That's a real Walker, Texas Ranger stuff here.
Or McGiver,
you know how they used to blow stuff up with bubble gum and paper clips and all that kind of
stuff.
McGiver was a clever fellow.
He was.
You know what I found?
They've redone like today's world of Inspector Gadget cartoons.
Me and the boys have been watching Inspector Gadget.
Inspector Gadget made a comeback?
Yeah.
Go Go Gadgett Arm.
I don't know that it made a comeback.
It's on a very obscure channel on Xfinity.
Inspector Gatch.
But they like it.
They like the Go Go Gadget arms.
I didn't know Inspector Gadget made a comeback.
Oh, yeah.
What cartoons did you watch growing up, Sah?
They did.
The Roadrunner.
Mampartre.
Really?
Yeah.
Y'all had TV?
Oh, you watched them at Kay's store.
Yeah, you watched them at Kay's store.
Never mind.
I forget.
That's it.
That's all you watch was the Roadrunner?
Well, that.
in westerns.
That roadrunner was a real jerk when you think about it.
That coyote was stupid.
That was funny, though.
It was actually funny.
Was it?
Yeah.
I mean,
it was so stupid,
okay,
the stuff he's doing.
They should have let him catch him once.
Yeah,
that's the time.
They should have let him catch him.
One time.
Well,
then he would have eaten him,
and then it would be over.
Well, no, no.
Well, that's not true.
They catch stuff all the time and they make a comeback.
That's true.
Catch and release, man.
he would have probably been so stunned when he called him that
you know who'd just let him go for the fun of it maybe
you know that was weird yeah i mean you're not gonna show a cartoon eating another
cartoon can you imagine if they made pepe le pew these days that would be on cnnin-in-n-so-fast
we know that these kids would never get to watch that yeah i mean no consent whatsoever
ever no peppy have you ever watch peppy lepew hunter a dude's a pervert
Pepe Lepeu.
Yeah.
He's kind of guy that have like a vape machine in his garage.
Pepe Lepew.
You want to go there?
No.
I'm the good folks.
Did you see the?
The Washaw Parish arrested a crazy person in our town and I'm proud of them.
And I can't talk about the other arrest that was making all this news because,
boy, yesterday that took a weird turn, didn't it?
What happened?
The kid, the Westmore High School.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, I missed something.
We've had a lot of stuff going on.
Well, yeah.
Did I miss?
Hunter, we'll go with it.
If not, we'll go longer.
Ice is in town.
Oh, again.
I'm so sick of ice this year.
Yeah, we had, we had, what, January ice,
and now we got July ice.
This one.
Different.
Way different.
But there was a 19-year-old
West Monroe High School kid.
Checked, flagged, detained,
arrested, however you want to call it,
put it because it's, you know, for immigration problems.
Huh.
We got immigration issues here.
And then.
State of West Monroe.
In that, the whole community was like, free the kid, free the kid, free the kid, free the kid.
He's innocent.
He's innocent.
And then yesterday, turns out he attempted to purchase a firearm.
And he would do innocence.
Which is a major red flag now.
We don't know.
Whether or not, I mean, he's.
He's 18, 19, whenever he was, whenever he did it.
There's a lot of weird laws when it comes to purchasing guns.
I'm going to give the kid the benefit of the doubt that maybe he didn't know all the laws.
Maybe there was a little naivety involved in that.
Because I got some friends that know the kid.
Seems to be a good kid by everybody's reaction.
I'm hoping he wanted to go hunting with some friends.
Same.
Thought, oh, I'll just tell him that.
well you're in the south right in a white i don't think he was buying a gun to be mischievous no i don't
either but i don't know no i don't either but the problem with our society is everybody does know
yeah and they go to face well you're now guilty until proven innocent rather than the otherwise like
said i'm going to give the kid the benefit of the doubt that he was wanting to have fun with his friends
he came here from guatemala he made redneck friends in west minore louisiana guns and hunting are a big
part of our culture here.
Yep.
And I remember when I turned 18 purchasing my first firearm.
That was a big deal.
Like, because it was the first one that I could go do.
Like, that was way cooler than, you know, at that time, buying a pack of cigarettes or
something.
Like, for me, it was not about tobacco purchases, as I'd been doing that for a while.
I was not saying.
There's a reason you weren't excited to turn 18.
That knew had worn off of that.
But the first firearm purchase.
was a big deal for me.
So I remember the day I turned 18.
That's what I went and did, was bought one.
So I'm going to say,
hopefully the kid had something to do with that,
and he just did not know all the laws that were in place.
But it's still, it's breaking a law, like, whatever you do.
If you're not a U.S. citizen, you cannot purchase a fire on.
It's very clearly on that piece of paper you fill out, too.
Like, very clearly, the 4473 or whatever that form's called.
and so he did it he attempted that's a red flag that's a no-no and that's i mean it's a big
no-no actually it's it's considered a felony in this country so hopefully we can get it panned out
in a in a moment a lapse of judgment doesn't stay with this kid the rest of his life and all the
things but there was more than just probable cause and now the you got people who are instead
of saying I was wrong or just going even further down the defending the
do all local towns have like wild Facebook things I would assume so so I bet you're really missing
out of social meetings and this town there's neighborhoods that have wild Facebook things oh I'm part of
they tried to stop they tried to have a meeting in our neighborhood about stopping people from
fishing on the pond two of the people with property on the pond on a tackle shop together yeah that's a
problem we can't I can't be a part of this people yeah let them
fish, man. Let them fish. Let them fish, Martin. Prying out loud, let them fish.
Anyway, yeah, it's been a wild couple weeks here in Westbrook. Do you know anything about it?
Oh. Yeah, you're not on social media. No. That's where all local news is gone.
The problem is Sai is not on local news. The sign on that national news. He stay on the national news.
And, yeah, it's, well, that one's an uproar in and of itself too. So. But on that, nothing, nothing's
What's that?
Because I go back in the 60s.
Yeah.
And, you know, we just stupid stuff, you know.
Yeah.
I mean.
Just, I mean, you got to realize, you know, hey, give the kid a break.
My goodness, he's a teenager.
Yeah, just talk to him, find out the whole deal, man.
Yeah.
I know with the way everything is working here now on this earth.
That, you know, I'd hate to be a kid.
I would too.
But I'm serious.
I really would.
And I hope we take this point.
This is a very good time to teach a lesson without hanging a felony on somebody.
Like, this is a really good time.
Because I go back to my childhood.
And we had stuff that would, they would go berserk today.
What's that?
The people that was financially well enough that they bought their son a car.
Yeah.
Well, he comes to school with a shotgun and the back of pickup truck.
Oh, buddy, I graduated in 2003 and did that.
Well, no, no, but I'm just saying, but it's changed now.
Everybody to get go berserk.
You got to go through the gate.
I'd have a, I'd have a Remington 870 pump back there with three Woody's in the bed.
Well, at that time, two Woody's in the bed of the truck.
The limit wasn't three.
Well, no, because, hey, wood you got out to school.
I don't got used to the three Woody limit.
After school, that's where we'd head to the woods.
Oh, I did it before.
school.
Yeah.
Like I had time.
I mean, you know, when the time changes, the shooting hours is like 612
there for a little while.
So like, I'd go whack me too.
And then show up.
During the wintertime.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
You would go before school and shoot ducks.
And Darbonne refuge or Russell said, I'd go kill me two woodies and I'd go to school.
Yeah.
Jace didn't go to school.
So whatever you're about, whatever you're about to say, doesn't?
And I didn't he run a trap line before school, son.
Did he?
Yeah.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you love it, you love it.
I don't love waking up in the morning.
Yeah, I did.
Oh, I'm an afternoon.
Billy Robertson type hunter.
You, like all of my uncles, they all run trap lines.
Yeah, I never do.
Because you used to, I mean, you used to make a lot of money.
Oh, pelting and selling fur.
Yeah, you know, trapping and selling fur.
Oh, I was thinking fish.
Chase was trapping animals?
No, no.
Yeah, running snares and carnage.
and kind of bear traps and foothole traps.
How much can you get for that these days?
Not much.
There's only a couple of them that have a value.
My uncle's made a living at that.
There's still a guy that makes a living, selling fish like Phil used to.
There's a couple of those still on the watchdog.
But you got us.
You got to catch a bunch of.
Oh, he catches a bunch of.
Well, no, no.
One of the things about that is, is, man, you're talking about, you know,
for people that do it and know what they're doing,
you're talking about beautiful stuff.
It's summertime, and we love to live around the grill.
And, like, for summer, I love garden fresh vegetables.
But you know, the one thing I don't love is chasing the vegetables around the grill.
Or you drop them through the grate and everything else.
Well, our friends over at Hexclad, they got that fixed with that grill pan that didn't make it up here that we're supposed to be talking about.
Let's get that thing in here.
Come on now.
You don't have to chase your veggies around.
They're not going to fall through the grates.
You get all the great smoke flavor you need, and it's easy, right?
HECSclad brings its hybrid technology outdoors with grilling tools made for foods that don't work well on a traditional grill.
The barbecue grill pan combined stainless steel, cast iron, and nonstick performance in one versatile pan.
It's perforated design lets heat and smoke through so that veggies, seafood, fish, and kebabs get grilled flavor without falling through the grapes.
Watch this.
Whoa.
That is a knife there, boy.
I've been grilling all of them squash, man.
You ain't got to lose that asparagus.
Do you cut them with this knife?
So if you're planning on spending time behind the grill this summer,
don't make it harder than it needs to be.
Stop losing food through the grate,
stop fighting, cleanup,
and upgrade your backyard cooking setup
with Hexclad's barbecue collection.

Are we redoing going cyril?
Are we having a long ago
I watch the internet
No, no, no, he's got a river
This was a new thing that came up last week
That I said, Sides go look
So I don't have the internet
So I have to show them stuff
Look at all them bears
In Alaska
What a time to be alive
What are you watching now?
That was that little clip
That went viral
Was from the
Catmine National Park
In Alaska
they live streamed that river all day.
So you could just go sit there and watch the bears.
You can nature watch from YouTube.
And son, you tell us some big ones.
And people say we're disconnected.
Yeah.
To be fair.
We've never been more connected.
But to be fair, you should watch this on the YouTube.
That's 50 bears there.
Is that right now?
No, that was the other day.
That's the live.
They live streamed it on June 22nd.
Holy cow, that was a long time ago.
A month ago, a little over a month ago now.
Look, they got live eagles.
They got live elephant cams.
I'm never going outside again.
There ain't an elephant in Alaska.
No, no, this is just a website connecting me to all the different live cams.
Ah, okay.
This one's in Africa.
God's creation at its best.
Do you have what?
Twitch?
No.
I forget the name of the channel, but there's one where you can, like, feed ducks by donating money, and it activates, like, the bread dispenser.
So you can feed ducks on Twitch.
Like in a pond.
They feed the ducks bread?
It's very bad for them.
Or it's not.
I live next to a duck lady.
She's in charge of the ducks on the pond.
Oh, has this been a Facebook post?
Oh, yeah.
No, you don't mess with all.
Are these crazy Facebook?
No, no.
She's a good one.
She's protected.
She raises ducks for the whole.
old neighborhood pond and you know she put a lot working to them so when somebody runs over one i'm
kind of like let's let's let's let's fight whoever had did that yeah i like when you when you walk
outside your back porch and there's just three maller just over the pond that's a good feeling
no no no because hey i watch i watch a bunch comes to the house every day whistlers oh them whistler
yep yeah they're everywhere 25 30 of them they come a lot in a dead tree behind my house
Yeah.
And then they go, look, and then they go and land on a gravel road in the neighborhoods and just.
Yeah.
You know, for their help them eat.
Oh, they're getting.
Oh, okay.
There you go.
Gravel, gravel.
So they're.
Well, I've been mowing every day over to camp, trying to get everything ready and started and all that.
And I got like a group of about 40 cattle eagrets that follow me around.
And I feel like we've become pretty good friends.
But sometimes I'll put it in park and just sit there and watch them.
just gorge themselves on the grasshoppers and other bugs,
and it is hilarious.
Watch them suckers, man.
And how they've identified tractor equals good.
There ain't none there when I start.
No, no.
And when you start mooring or whatever you do it.
And I make about one pass and I look behind me.
And here, they're all right there.
And I'm like, you little resourceful suckers, man.
Like, they're smarter than you give them credit for being.
I know, because Stone has found somebody that, uh,
has got a big pond.
And there's, he said, there's a hundred and fifty.
Whistlers, yeah.
And he said in October, we're going to hang with them suckers, buddy.
Oh, Lord.
Goes, hey, they fixed open seasons on them.
You'll leave them Whistlers alone.
Oh, no, I'll pick, kill me a bunch of them.
I'll have me one man in my house for a long.
Well.
You guys want to watch some Walriss's live?
You got a live camera with Goblin?
Walrus DC
Oh he changed his name
He's not the walrus anymore
He's not the walrus
He left walrus behind
Man what a sad day
Gobin the Walrus
We need you both
There's 4,6408 people
You took our walrus from us
Now we've at best got a seal
I love all the different colors
Of the bears
Hunter just sent me to down
One humble is a light and blonde
This is ridiculous Hunter
The bears are pretty
There's 4,000 people
watching these bears.
This is live,
Sigh.
That is happening
right now.
I know.
How cool is that?
Meanwhile.
Hey, God's nature,
God's creation at his best, buddy.
Martin,
I just saw a bear live on the YouTube
catch a fish in its mouth.
No.
It was unbelievable.
I was reading about,
I'm going to do this right now
while I just read that.
We just got a letter from one of our vendor,
or we're a vendor for Fleet Farm,
Duck Commander is,
through their hometown where their home base is,
they just an EF3 tornado basically went straight through it
about three days ago, Appleton, Wisconsin.
And we go to Wisconsin once a year.
A lot.
I got one at least once a year.
And so the folks of Wisconsin,
ma'am,
we love you guys.
We're praying for you guys.
And that just had a form to donate some stuff.
So taking in,
you know,
either cash or just,
you know,
donations like you can order,
water and have it shipped there or whatever. So yeah, if you feel that, man, the folks of Wisconsin,
they're going through tough. And I know everybody is. The folks of Uvaldi, Texas, too, with the flash floods
down there, that whole, I'm just using Uvaldi as a general term, that whole area with the floods
down in South Texas, you know. So there's people in need if y'all are looking to help folks out,
man. There's people suffering, struggling every day. Yeah, I just looked up that Appleton, Wisconsin.
That's a big one. I got hit. I got hit hard. Yeah. And that's where Fleet Farm is. And
They do a lot of business with Duck Commander and with everybody.
So it's just, yes, a terrible deal, man.
But the good news is God is still good.
Even in the storms, he's still good.
But are you, so they're on there now?
Like you're watching Bears right now.
I was.
Now I'm looking at, well.
Oh, now you're on tornado footage.
I'm just your prototypical 1989 born person.
I just bounce from here to hear to hear to hear to hear to hear.
Four letters, right?
Yeah, just
Br-D.
A-D.
H-D.
No, I don't think I have that.
Buddy, you ain't quit moving since you got in here.
Does that have to do with anything?
I wonder, why are you covering your mouth?
I will fight you.
Yeah, mood swings.
That's one of them.
No, I ain't got nothing.
I'm as normal as I come.
Yeah.
So, are you normal?
Am I normal?
No.
No.
I tried it one.
time about 10 minutes.
Dr. Joe Me insane.
Didn't.
I went back for being crazy.
Good and hell, but more fun.
It is more fun.
I don't get why people would want to be normal.
No, forget normal.
Forget normal.
There was something else.
What we got, hey, did we reach out to,
what's our guy's name?
Carl.
Carl?
Yeah, we got it.
Well, I haven't got his contact yet.
Okay.
We know a guy that knows a guy that knows Carl.
Yeah, his name.
name's Matt.
And I'm sad because next week we got Bird Boy coming in here and I'm not going to be here.
Don't tell the people yet.
Why not?
That is a surprise.
Oh, we'll go.
Wait till you see this.
This kid is, I'm not going to be here, unfortunately, and I'm very sad.
I will call in on this day.
I will.
We're not going to answer.
You better.
I answered your stuff when I knew you're at the beach.
That's a good point.
That's a good point.
I missed you.
I didn't see you for like two weeks.
All right, Sao.
So check this kid out.
How many people watch the Super Bowl,
Sae? The Super Bowl?
Yes.
Millions.
100 million?
No, I don't know.
A bunch.
A bunch.
80 million.
This kid posted a video.
His mom did.
His mom.
Samuel.
And posted a video.
He's got a hobby he likes and it's birding.
Yeah.
Bird watching.
This is this kid, Sae.
This is Bird Request Part 2.
Well, you got to unmute it.
And let's get started.
First we get the bar now.
How's going?
Next, the ringneck dove.
Who, who.
Next, next to the American woodcock.
I don't know a woodcock made that sound.
Uh-huh.
Wait till you hear the purple market.
And you know, there's two different species of crows in the United States.
This one's good.
The fish crow and the American crow.
The fish crow is what I'm going to do first.
Ah.
Then the American crow.
Isn't this awesome?
This kid's going to sit right here.
Oh, I'm saying.
He's pretty good.
And I'm not going to be here.
Atlantic Puffet.
I just got to take a word for that.
That's a Purple Martin.
That's a Purple Martin.
So this kid's coming to.
Keep up the request, guys.
Oh, he's good, man.
And so he's got a bunch of other videos.
He's gone crazy on social media.
And so I was like, hey, maybe they like,
like Duck Dynasty.
And so I messaged his mom and said, hey, if he ever wants to come
chat with Uncle Si.
See, do his bird calls with the duck call, man.
Yeah.
So they're coming down.
And I'm so excited.
But, oh, goodness.
See, this is why you keep things?
That's going to be fun.
Oh, magnetic power bank.
Now we're talking.
Sitting on a deer stand playing your stuff.
You need more battery.
There you go.
You got it right there.
You ain't even got a tot no wires with you.
No.
No, everything's built in right there.
Look, y'all know we're talking about Ridge.
We've been with Ridge for a long time.
They've made quality stuff.
It does not tear up.
I was just out of town, and that power bank saved me multiple times.

I was reading up on Samuel, because he's been doing some stuff.
Have you, do you have the Merlin app from Cornell University?
I'll have the app, but I know what it is.
And it can hear bird noises, and it can tell you what kind of bird it is.
Yeah, you know, like one of the...
And he passes the, like, they're like, oh, yeah, that's it.
Oh, it's...
He defeats the bird app.
Their AI says that he is what it is.
Yeah, he's that good.
Yeah.
Do you think you could...
No.
You don't think you could...
could make the bird app say you're a mall or duck?
I mean, with a duck call, maybe.
Well, obviously not with your mouth, bro.
Yeah, but that kid's doing it with his mouth.
Yeah.
That's way more impressive than what I can do with a reading instrument.
Yeah, I just wonder if you could do it with the duck call.
Do you think you're one of the better duck callers in the world?
I'm sure.
I mean, you could probably get.
The voice.
Man, I got my calls in the.
Well, no, no.
I got the app right here.
No, no.
The voice analyzer would say you a duck.
What is that?
Is that a Dick Cistle?
What is that?
Or is that a metal art?
What I said?
Pulled up on.
That's a yellow breasted chat.
That's the bird of the day.
Yeah.
How did you know that?
It's a yellow.
What's this?
I took a little clack.
Is that a red-headed woodpecker?
No, that's a,
I need to see his chest.
You're further away and you're still getting real.
You were real close.
Yeah, I just need to see his chest.
Why?
Because the pattern on his chest will be.
What are the two options?
Pileated or Downey.
It's pilliated,
do you know what that is?
Oh, that one's hard to see.
I'm going to need you to throw that one to the TV screen.
Oh, okay, that's a finch.
No, it's not.
It says the name right there, and you still got it wrong.
A pine warbler.
Oh, man, I've shot a bunch of those.
How do you know this much about birds?
It makes sense.
Yeah, I took a class called ornithology.
What does that got to do with any?
Study of birds.
Oh, okay.
So, you know, that Cornell place you're talking about,
their big,
their claim to fame is the Cornell ornithology lab.
That's who made Merlin.
Martin,
you might need to cancel whatever you're doing to talk to Samuel
because you're far more knowledgeable than we are.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
Well, what's funny is that here that Purple Martin took me back to one
the worst butt weapons I ever got in my life.
You shot a purple mark?
Oh boy, didn't I?
Boy, you know what?
You might not should be here because I think, I don't think Samuel would support anything.
I was a kid with a red rider, man.
That's right.
Like, I didn't.
When you got one, how you try to kill everything you can kill?
Until you get your butt whoop.
That's right.
Yeah, I had no idea.
I was like, look at this bird sitting on this bird house at my grandparents.
They had them for their garden, help keep the bugs out.
And, you know, he was just sitting there.
So I was like, well, here's my BB gun.
And he was squawked on the way down.
I felt bad.
Had to get him again on the ground.
Oh.
And it was a Purple Martin?
It was.
That's one of my favorite calls.
And then my rear end turned into a Purple Martin.
Well, that's not good.
My booty was then a Purple Martin after Mamaw got done with me.
Your Mamaw spanked you?
Buddy.
Did she spanked?
That's embarrassing.
Mamaw, okay, Mamaw,
can spank anybody.
Yeah, Mammaw whooped the whole neighborhood.
That's that?
I don't think my...
My mom was a very small lady, so she didn't...
That was mine.
I didn't hold her back.
She would just order the whippins to be had.
Yeah.
No, Papal sit back and laugh.
We got our butts...
Oh, no.
But we got our butts tore up.
The last time my mom ever woke me, I laughed.
He was married to the woman.
He knew her.
Yeah, he said, what best thing I can do is stay out the way, right?
Or she going to get me, too.
Oh, she'd whoop him, too.
Yeah.
No, that was a tough one.
Yeah, that was the one and only.
But no, I, yeah, pine warbler's man on their way back through me.
Oh, there was, there was a couple of rules that, you know, when I got that daisy bee-gun.
Don't kill, don't kill songbirds.
You kill songbirds, you get your butt toe up.
Yeah, cardinals were off-limits.
Yep.
Barking birds.
Bluebirds were off-limits.
Blue jays were in because they robbed the garden.
That's right.
Like they go.
And they robbed other names.
Yeah. So Blue Jays were on the list. But, you know, then I went through like a little, I mean, you know, Mr. Audubon, when he wrote all of his books on the birds of North American and everything, you know how he did it, right? He killed them all. And I guess for me. And he actually, uh, mowed him. That's funny. I typed in Mr. Audubon on Google in the first picture. It actually looks like he got a gun. It looks like Sigh and Duck Dynasty because he's got a gun and a dog that looks like, oh, killer.
Yeah.
But that's, I mean, I was just so curious about them that I wanted to hold them off.
And the only way to hold them was, knock them out.
A young son, Robertson.
And, I mean, I looked back on it and I was just a kid being a kid.
There was no, I mean, I didn't have any ill will to.
I was just curious about them.
And so, man, Cedar Wax Wings, that's a cool one.
That was a pretty person.
He is beautiful.
Oh, no.
Beautiful.
Okay.
Well, what I need you to do since you're not going to,
to be here.
Yeah, you only make a list of it?
That's what I'm going to need.
I want the cedar wax wing, do that one because that...
Cedar wax wing.
I was going to go with Mallard.
Ah, yeah, that's basic.
Wood duck.
You think he's got wood duck?
Oh, he might, yeah.
Probably.
Yeah.
I mean, he may not can do all of them.
That one where your voice breaks is going to be a tough one.
That's going to be a hard one for him because you got to hit three different notes right
there.
I can't even blow wood duck.
But you can do a lot of the other one.
I would think.
The best is whenever he tells you that you've been lied to about the eagle.
Yeah, that's funny.
This is one of bald eagle actually sounds.
I'll ask him.
How did he actually learn how to do that?
We're going to ask him.
It's incredible, man.
You know, to make that kind of sound.
Yeah.
Because he sounded just like them owls.
Oh, buddy.
He's good.
Wait until you hear the eagle versus the Hulk.
I mean, it is, it's...
I need to know if he won the talent show.
That was awesome.
The first video he ever posted was him at the school talent show.
And that's the one that made me click follow on the kid.
And then when he come out with this later one, I was, I shared it because I loved his shirt.
Like, it was like a pencil drawing of like waterfowl of North America, which was looked like old decoys and stuff.
So it was really cool.
And I reached out to the company to see if they were going to get any more two Xs in.
You know, I'm a big boy.
I said, and I know you probably,
hunters probably aren't your number one customer,
but that shirt's awesome.
I wish,
I wish,
did they respond?
Yeah.
I wish they were going to do a rest of.
When we hunted doves last year.
Yeah.
At, uh,
uh,
Oh,
white crown sparrow.
Write that one down.
I need that one.
I don't write that down.
But we had a girl.
We had a girl come in through.
And she's done all that kind of junk.
What the bird sound?
Oh, yeah.
She had your old turkeys and all that.
What was it?
White crown sparrow.
Cedar waxwing.
All right.
I got to do.
My favorite birds.
To you.
Prothonatory warbler.
What?
Prothanitary warbler.
That's not even a word.
It is.
I wish I could.
I didn't spell it right.
He's red-breasted.
He's like a sparrow.
He's red-breasted.
Uh-huh.
And he only shows up when snow's on the ground.
Here?
Yeah.
Here.
Red-breasted?
He's red-burnted and blue, got blue on him too.
Got blue on.
Yeah.
The Roadrunner.
He's a beautiful bird.
Johnny Dey, look up, painted bunting.
Paint.
Another one of my favorite birds, the painted and indigo buntings, the bunting family.
That's it?
That thing looked like a parrot.
No, that looks like the Oreo.
That's a pretty bird.
The Oreo.
Yeah.
That's his name.
You know, their team from Baltimore.
Oriole.
Yeah.
Wow.
He's really pretty.
He's got a lot of pretty colors on it.
The other one side, look, uh, you said green though.
I was going to say rose-breasted gross beak would be.
What?
Man, stop.
There's an orio right there.
Don't you have hobbies?
There.
I, you got to, well, I told you I'm training two nerds.
The rose breasted rose beak.
Yeah, he's a cool one.
Big red shield on his chest.
Yeah.
It got like an emblem on his chest.
Yeah.
Pretty thing.
He's a cool one.
Yeah.
are you a birder
the other day
Ben's came up to me
and says dad we need a bird feeder
and I said let's wait
we're moving so not
we're not this kind of a gar time of year
for a bird feeder
but he wants to get into birding
spring is awesome
for birds
when they come back
so like here in the next
month month and a half
you'll start seeing those radar things
pick up birds migrating
the neotropical migrant
so you get a lot of young of the year
so they're hard to identify
when they're coming back through here,
going to South America for the winter.
But when they come back in the spring,
that's when you need the bird feeder
because you see all kinds of cool stuff here.
They just stop and get a breath and then they keep going.
So you can put out like oranges,
like sliced oranges and you get all the Orioles
size talking about so like Orchard, Baltimore.
Orioles show up here?
Yes.
Thought they were only in Baltimore.
No.
I've never seen an oil.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, no.
Yeah, they are migraids.
The raccoons would eat it.
Yeah.
You put it up on a little stob, man.
The Orioles will stop and eat, like cut fruit.
Every time I've ever tried to feed birds, squirrels attack.
Yeah, the squirrels will come to.
People forget stuff all the time.
The good news is when you go hunting, if they forget it, you can borrow it, right?
If you need to borrow face paint, you need to bar a few shells.
You need to borrow a duck stamp.
A cup of coffee.
But you can't share duck stamp.
Nope.
But you cannot borrow a federal duck stamp.
You need your own.
The easiest way to do it, just head to duck stamp.com and purchase your federal duck stamp online.
You can keep the digital stamp right on your phone throughout the entire hunting season so that you're ready when it's time to head out.
Then next spring, the collectible physical stamp will show up in the mail.
Since 1934, duck stamps have conserved over six million acres of wetlands, and that means better habitat now.
And for our future hunters, don't depend on somebody else to take care of your federal duck stamp, right?
Like, that one is a big one.
It's on you.
Take ownership of it.
And now it's easier than it's ever been.
You keep it on your phone.
You don't have to worry about if it's signed.
You don't have to worry about service because it's right there in your wallet.
It is so easy.
There is no excuse to ever not have your federal duck stamp anymore.
So before opening morning, make one quick stop at duckstamp.com.
That's duck stamp.com.
Oh, I was 60 to ask y'all.
If y'all have seen that guy that he makes, like, a, for the military,
They have the thing that they run.
Are you talking about Mark Robber's obstacle course for squirrel?
Yeah.
He does it for squirrels and birds.
Oh, yeah, we've watched it on here.
I'll fix that because, hey, you're talking about it.
It's my kid's favorite YouTube.
Birds and squirrels.
Because this guy's always changing his deal.
And, hey, they figure it out.
I wonder how it's, still the nuts and berries and all these stuff he's put.
Yeah. Now, birding springtime's cool, man.
Have I ever told you all my favorite bird watching fact?
No.
Apparently, and I don't remember my source, but apparently no bird watchers
show signs of depression or mental illness.
They're all like the happiest people alive.
Does that check out for me?
I hope so.
Hunter, you've sat here and listened to me talk for 700 episodes.
Bird watching, improve.
mental health by reducing stress low in cortisol levels and promoting mind-fired.
Bird watching, not bird photographing because that increases anxiety.
I mean, you finally get him and you're like, you're going to get focused and then a little
turd moves.
Like, I got into that for a while too.
Bird shooting?
With a camera, not a BB gun anymore.
Yeah.
You had a fancy camera taking pictures of birds?
I feel like sometimes you live lives that are like,
I'm a nerd, man.
I know, but like you accomplished so much.
Well, I don't choose to make all parts of my life public.
But here we are.
We've ripped the veil off of another one that I kept pretty underwrapped.
I don't choose to make all of my life public.
Not all of it.
Duck Dynasty.
No, but I mean, we never talked about birding.
We talked about my love for herps there with the roughneck monitor.
So, like, I mean, I love snakes.
And your love for mustard snakes?
birds.
I don't like mustard.
That's why I mean,
how many species the ducks are they?
Do you know?
No,
not total.
Not total,
but I know a bunch of them.
Yeah.
I don't know how many total there are.
But let me tell you.
Well,
see,
that's the crazy thing about birds and,
you know,
ducks,
whatever,
whatever.
Yeah.
Man,
they're you talking about a beauty.
I mean,
there are roughly 120 to 130 species
of ducks worldwide.
categories
categorized.
See,
I can't even say
categorized.
How am I
supposed to get
into birding?
I don't even
know half the
words you just said
earlier.
The,
what did you?
Well,
then why?
A polliated
woodpecker.
Yeah,
all them things
like all the names.
Categorized
mainly into
dabbling ducks,
diving ducks,
and other specialized
group.
Yeah,
tree ducks.
Sea ducks,
some of, you know,
I deep you think
Okay, go.
The feet.
A diving duck?
A diving duck.
20 feet?
120.
That's the sea ducks for sure.
100.
You like the Iiders and stuff.
They've caught ducks in depth at 120 feet.
Yeah, like Iiders and stuff can get weight.
I misspelled Ider, shocker.
E-I-D-E-E-L.
Holy moly.
Y'all undersold them.
I'm just saying they can get deep.
I don't know.
And Iter duck can dive down to maximum depths of
65 to 180 feet.
There you go.
That's crazy.
That thing can fly and be a submarine.
Well, no, no, because that's what Phil's always said.
He should take the duck.
He's a jet aircraft.
When he lands on water, he becomes a boat.
And then when he wants to go feeds on the bottom, he's a submarine.
And that's just three at one thing.
I was always fascinated that stuff is like three, four, five ounces can fly from here.
to South America.
Well, no, no, take this.
Just take off across the Gulf of Mexico and you're that big.
Yeah, yeah.
You're that big and you say, buddy, I'm going.
Yeah, a hummingbird.
Yeah, hummingbird.
I mean, look at monarch butterflies for crying out loud.
What'd you call it?
What?
That big body of water.
Oh, Gulf of Mexico?
Well, I'm just saying they cut across a lot of Mexico.
Gulf of America.
Gulf of America.
That's right.
I don't care what you call it.
The whole thing.
a gar make you itch yeah uh no no that's the thing if one of them he's a swallow of some type
and he shows up he leaves like the day and he'll be where he won't supposed to be tomorrow oh yeah
there's thousands of miles birds are incredible and there's thousand a mile that's what i love and we're
getting the number one bird kid in america on the pot i just hope he sticks with it ma'am you know a lot
birders by duck stamps.
So like,
to give back to conservation.
So our hats are off to the birders that actually purchased the...
Well, no, no, because who's the guy, the bird guy that wrote,
took all the pictures for the bird?
Mr. Audubon?
Audubon.
Yeah.
He drew them.
He didn't know.
Okay.
Yeah.
He didn't photograph anything.
He drew them.
But that's why he had dead ones.
So he killed all that stuff to describe it.
Like, there's a place we got here that, I mean, it's on private property.
I'd be willing to show.
But, like, it's quasi little.
rookery.
So like a bunch of wading birds get in these bushes and
at nest and like some of my favorite places.
Oh,
what?
So you get like,
you see little rosy eight spoonbill babies and little blue herons and
I've been introduced to all the new world.
Cattle eagrots.
And them things are ugly and they were.
Oh.
Well,
they're young.
Ugly.
They are ugly.
And what's wild is the amount of alligators that sit up under them at night,
just waiting on one of them babies to fall out.
No, no.
Alligators are mean.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
You shine a light through that night and it's just nothing but red eyes up under it saying.
Have you ever gone to?
I dare you to fall on.
Come on.
Come on.
Martin, have you ever gone to the Audubon website to the bird migration map?
Mm-hmm.
As a man who loves maps, this could be what gets me in.
Yeah.
Yeah, watch how far they go.
And not only that, watch how far they go.
and hey, you can actually put a line in the sky
and they won't be five feet off of that line.
Yeah, a lot of them are saying, you know,
because our poles have shifted a little bit
like it's changed some migration routes and things.
So, yeah, I don't know how much truth there is.
Because for years, okay, the snowy owl doesn't get down here.
On dog bow, there's a giant pine tree.
And guess what?
On flight days, every duck that comes flying by,
is coming over that giant pine tree.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's wild.
And I'm talking about it, not close.
I'm talking about directly over it.
Yeah.
And a lot of them little ones do their migrating at night,
which is why them windmills are such a way.
Well, no, no, because the coot.
The coot only flies at night.
And he flies at, hey, get this,
20 to 50,000 in the sky, the altitude.
Did you say the prothontary?
Warbler? I found it.
He's cool. He's a
Louisiana one. Yeah. Love cypress trees.
I've learned so, you know
what? They say we get in here and just rammed about
What is the... We've got you a lot about birds today.
That everybody thinks is the
one that's extinct. The ivory build?
Yeah. I reveal. He's gone.
But it's
one that looks just like he. Oh, peliated.
Yeah. That's that one he showed earth.
Yeah. Do you think it's extinct?
Oh, yeah. There's got to be a couple.
No, he's gone.
No, he's gone.
They say he's gone.
I think he's still around.
There's a lot of theories that there are some left, but yeah.
He's gone.
It's a big world.
Yeah.
Oh, hey, that's a big woodpecker.
They've devoted so much time and money to him if he still were here, somebody would have found him.
Yeah.
I don't know, man.
That's his cousin, that big one, he said, that's his cousin.
Yeah.
They ain't any in Zeus?
That's a bonnet.
No, too late.
Nope.
It was too late.
It happened when we cleared the landscape over here for all this farming.
Always asked the question.
It just says they're critically indebted.
Does a woodpecker have migraine headaches?
You would think he'd have to.
I'd fix that.
He'd have to.
Beating his head up against an oak tree.
Whenever I was a kid, we had a woodpecker problem beating his head against our house.
Put in a hole.
No, no, he'd do it.
Yeah, he'd do it.
And I was like coons.
Cones.
in your attic. Oh, Johnny D.
We got squirrels in the attic.
There's some of them that there's like some guys that
are timber guys and looking for wood like they'll sit
there and listen for the woodpeckers to hit a certain tree.
And when they hear it, they're like, that's the wood I'm looking for.
And then they take off for them.
We had workday at the camp this weekend.
Yep.
And boys was cutting wood, splitting wood, not stacking.
And I was keeping up with them old young boys,
didn't even get tired.
I wasn't going to stop until they stopped,
and they stopped before I did.
Really?
But I wouldn't have done it a year ago.
Most weight loss plans have one thing in common.
They quit working eventually,
and when that happens,
usually the weight comes right back.
But Ph.D. weight loss is different.
I'm 27 weeks into the Ph.D.
Weight Loss program down over 40 pounds and going.
The food's good.
You get to talk to a coach.
It keeps you accountable.
And there's all kind of information.
on the website that just is just outstanding.
It's just, it's easy.
There you go.
Look, what worked for you before doesn't always work again because your body fights weight
loss every step of the way when it's under stress.
GLP1 drugs can work as a quick fix, but they don't always take care of what's causing
the problem in the first place.
Ph.D. Weight loss works with you to develop a plan that works with your body and focuses
on restoring your metabolism for good.
So that way your body stops fighting you.
The goal isn't to lose weight just once is to never have to start over again.
Again, right now you can call Ph.D. Weight Loss and mention.
Guy one.
And you'll get two weeks free in the program and they'll pay for your food.
That's a $1,500 value completely free.
Call $864-644-1900 and say,
Godwin.
Again, that's 864-644-190 or visit my Ph.D. weight loss.com.
Honor, I'd be remiss if I didn't ask you how the move-in's going.
Your girlfriend's back, huh?
She's back.
Before we run out of time.
And ain't your boys are back in town.
It's the woman is back in town.
We, we, the drive sucked in the first two days we spent arguing nonstop.
Yeah.
And she rearranged my kitchen.
Who does that?
Why are you crying?
It sounds like you're about to get choked up here.
Nothing's in the same spot.
Oh.
Welcome.
When the woman moves, hey, buddy, when the woman moves in is her house.
That's it.
And we were testy with each other and I didn't mean to be testy with others.
You probably shouldn't have done this on a full moon.
Uh-oh.
Yeah, you should have done it.
He probably should have checked the lunar calendar and went with like a half or a new moon.
He said we were testy with each other and I didn't mean to be testy with others.
I think he's referring to me, Martin.
Yeah, I misinterpreted a text from you.
I was asking a simple question.
With all of us?
Yeah.
Oh, would I fire back at him yesterday?
Yeah.
And then he fired, he just fired.
I'm not my problem back in.
I said, well...
Yeah, I can't apologize enough.
And so then I let it go, and I said,
well, how's the move in going?
And he didn't text us for two days.
Well, he didn't listen to me.
Told you you should have married her.
Then he texts asking us a question,
and I said, sorry, I'm off today.
What?
You can ask me tomorrow.
I love you guys.
I want y'all to know that.
I love you, too.
This is going in with a song.
Put a ring on that.
I love you too, Hunter.
I'm just glad you posted the episode.
because I've always checked to make sure you do that.
Yeah, I had it scheduled before I left.
No, duh.
I'd text him to see if he was posting on Instagram.
Just see what it would be because that's what we do.
We talk about stuff.
And he said, yes, the episode will post tonight.
And I was like, I don't, I've, duh.
I've never been concerned with that.
You just realized that you still don't know what I asked you.
You're frazzled, man.
You're frazzled.
You were in the weeds.
He went in there and the spoons were where the forts go and he couldn't handle it.
she moved my microwave.
Who does that?
It was in the perfect spot.
Clearly not.
It was in the wrong spot if you ask me.
Yeah, me too.
I agree with her.
You're going to learn that that's the answer that you want to go with.
I showed Hunter my text messages with my wife yesterday.
We're building a house.
She sent some tile.
I said, my response was, I like it if you do.
Yeah.
Did Miss Christine ever do anything like that?
You need to learn how to say, yes.
Yes, ma'am a lot.
Yes, ma'am.
Yes, ma'am.
Yeah, let the house be theirs, man.
It's not a big deal.
You get to pick where it's at?
It'll save you a lot of heartache.
Let the house be there.
When it comes to colors, where the microwave is, any of that stuff, that's not your call.
The phrase is, Hunter, if mom ain't happy, it ain't nobody going to be happy, buddy.
The other day, what happened?
Oh, Brittany walked in something new clothes or something she bought.
And she walked in there, she said, how does it look?
And I said, what would you like me to say?
What do you want me to answer?
And she said that was the right response.
That's right.
And she was asking me another one about all,
she's getting some clean perfume or something, you know,
and so I'm picking a smell.
Does my butt look big?
No, darling, your butt looks fine.
That's right.
I like big butts.
I can't even lie.
Yeah.
Oh yeah
And I'm just like
Yeah I mean do you like it
That's always my
Do you like it?
Yeah I like the soda I love it
Roger that
I didn't even go to the meeting
That they picked the entire color scheme
Of our whole house
I did go to the meeting
And an hour into it
I realized I was not there for any reason
But to make sure we did not go over budget
Yeah positive affirmations
That's all you're there for
What you think about this
Love it
Doesn't matter what I think
That's right perfect
So continue on
That's better and good
And word to go
I'm not, hey.
Yeah, you just, the sooner you accept that, better off you'll be.
That boy couldn't cook his breakfast this morning because of microwave.
Hey, a question, what is where the microwave was now?
Yeah.
It's, it's now like in the corner.
Now, I'm not asking where it is.
What is there?
What is where it was?
Oh, my coffee, like, maker.
She just swapped it.
So you're going to, you're going to.
Yeah, now there's negative space.
I used every inch of the counter.
That's the problem.
Oh, no, no, no.
You had stuff just strewn about everywhere.
You need counter space.
It meets, yeah, that's what she told me.
She was like, it's a now better flow.
Yeah.
Oh, the problem is.
You were eating off the top of a microwave and cutting stuff up there, like some sort of heathen.
That's right.
So you're, yeah.
You're about to be domesticated, son.
You've been, yeah.
You need to look on Instagram.
You need to get married.
Because apparently cluttered countertops calls women all sorts of anxiety.
Oh, yeah.
Really?
Allegedly, yeah.
Can't have a cluttered countertop.
Interesting.
And me, I just pile everything there.
I'm like, whatever.
My hat, my sunglasses, all my stuff just goes in a wad right there.
And yeah, I get asked, I would say at least once a month to move my stuff off the counter.
Get it off the counter.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
And every time I say, well, I'm just trying to, we're trying to break down walls.
I'm trying to get you okay with this.
She said, yeah, and I'm trying to get you okay with a clean countercops.
Move the crap out of the way.
I spent a lot of money on that, granted.
I want to use it to hold stuff, man.
I ain't trying to look at it.
I took advice when you said, like, go get your tire fixed.
Yeah, get out of there.
Get out of there.
Yeah.
So they couldn't fix my tire because they had to order new ones.
Yeah.
So I just hit at my sister's house for an hour.
Yeah, that's fine.
Nothing wrong with that.
Wisdom.
Yeah.
You know what you should do?
Go look at birds.
No, next time.
No, you know what you should do?
Go the honey hole, get a fishing pole.
You can kill an hour anywhere with a fishing ride.
You ain't got to catch one.
You think I like going to Willie's pond?
No, I just sometimes have to escape.
Yeah.
Trouble.
Sometimes you just got to breathe, man.
Throw a cricket.
It's just the first two days.
The first two days were kind of stressful.
And then after that, like, yesterday.
Or you can get you one of these rowing machines I just got.
You can go row a lake in Washington.
Oh, you need.
You need a jump rope.
Yeah.
There you go.
The people,
rowing machines are tight.
This one especially,
man.
Yeah.
This thing's cool.
But,
but.
I think we're in a good spot now
and stuff's going to.
I give it away.
But she moved.
What if she moved?
What if she moved?
Oh,
yeah.
I just,
I don't get it.
Yeah.
It happens.
That's a Beyonce song.
Yeah.
If you like it,
then you better put a ring on it.
Matthew 626.
What were you trying to say?
I was just going to say, like, I, Hunter therapy.
Went to a different person.
She cleaned out your refrigerator, yep.
She, she moved the shelves.
She moved the distance.
Good.
Between the shelves.
Your distance was wrong.
It was perfect.
Nope.
Now there's wasted space, Hunter said.
No, there's better space.
He don't know what he says.
I'm just glad you're finally getting domesticated.
You were a wild animal living in that apartment by yourself.
Wow animal.
This legit was like the hardest thing in the,
the first year of marriage for me to get used to.
I was like,
I had stuff where I wanted it,
like,
and I knew it.
And then I finally just was like,
you know what?
It's okay.
She's trying to move my computer to the living room.
That's fine.
It can't go there.
Why not?
I can't move it there unless I move a couch out.
Okay,
buy a couch.
You don't need a couch.
You have a bed.
How many couches do you have in a one-bedroom apartment?
I have a love seat and a normal long couch.
Yeah,
which one are you getting rid of?
The love seat?
She wants to get rid of the love seat.
She wants to get rid of the love.
Yeah, you don't need that.
Yeah, you don't get it out of there.
You entertain people often?
I try.
For real?
I'm a guest to come to your apartment.
No, none.
Okay.
You don't need a love seat.
Or if you want to make the argument, you know,
a little romantic, you get rid of the couch,
and then y'all have to sit close together.
That sounds terrible.
It does to me too.
I don't like touching.
I get hot.
Then Brittany's always like, you're so hot.
I'm like, I know, I'm aware.
I'm just like a big thermo.
I get it.
Well, next episode, I kind of mess with the idea of y'all first year of marriage.
I know I'm not married, but like moving in.
Yeah, you're just pretending you're married.
There's the difference.
Yeah.
Yeah, you're just.
I'm going to go full Phil Robertson on you until you do it.
Yeah, you don't understand.
That is my job in this room to say, nope, shouldn't be doing that.
Yeah, you're just practicing.
Don't practice.
Just get in the game.
I'm going to go full PR.
Yeah, this, yeah.
It's going to be fun.
It's going to be hard for you.
I'd keep this biblical one bedroom,
unless you're sleeping on that couch.
There's a couch.
Good.
Matthew 626, maybe.
Then you end up 11 years.
Sometimes you sleep on the couch just because you won't do.
Because you get tired of them poking you because you're snoring.
I actually don't snore.
So you'll just sleep on the couch just so you don't get woke up at the middle of the night.
Severely deviated septum.
Do not be alarmed.
Uh, my is just allergy season.
I snore like a freight train from about April to June.
Oh, wow, I gotta go.
Yeah, let's go.
I'm leaving this town.
Matthew 626, look at the birds of the air.
They do not sow a reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?
Remember that, people?
Yeah.
Let's see y'all next time.
He loves you better than a bird.
Samuel's gonna whoop you at that.
Cah!
