Boy, wouldn't get out of the pool on 4th of July.
Oh, man.
He wasn't, he wasn't wearing his little headband.
Because his brother ain't got to because he ain't got to,
no more.
He still got that one tube working and he had water just flowing into that ear
apparently.
Who's a man at that age, too?
Yeah, buddy.
I ain't wearing that band.
I ain't wearing that.
I ain't wearing that.
Now he's like, I think he would reconsider now.
Yeah.
Remember how bad it was?
I think we could get him to strongly reconsider now.
When we tried to get you to wear that band?
Oh, man.
And the problem is he don't want to.
nobody but his mama so yeah that's yeah which means i can't really do nothing it said i just
got to listen to it uh but you know whatever it's fine it's all good hunter are we rolling or
you just don't have the clock rolling yeah um but no we'll make it we'll make it out of it it'll be

that eat aluminum foil yeah they sheet metal come um marrow
Now what?
Yes.
I was giving you, I was giving you lies.
What the answer?
That's a good one.
People that eat.
They're on a pole.
They sheet metal.
Yeah.
That's a good one.
That's a good one.
That's like, you know why you can't be mad when you fall on your driveway?
Why?
It's your own asphalt.
That's your own asphalt.
I guess so.
Yeah.
See?
You can't be mad.
You can't be mad.
You put the bump there.
I'll be mad about it.
You start sheeting meddling.
You got problems.
I feel like we're trading off.
That's so good, though.
He was talking about to learn.
All right says, hey, don't give up your day job.
What are you talking about?
Those are too good.
Those were the first ones that got audible laughs in here.
That's true.
Those were good.
Even from our studio audience, they got an in-studio audience.
We do have an in-studio audience.
We do.
We might have to add them to, like,
our opening routine when we go speak somewhere together.
Yeah.
Just start right there.
Yeah, that's right.
Let everybody know the gloves are off.
Oh, man.
All right, then.
All right.
All right.
We'll see y'all next time right here.
It's all he's got.
Oh, my God.
Oh, man.
No, we, I don't even know what.
Johnny D. is still on vacation.
I did see.
I know he's sad because he had to watch that game at the beach.
Oh, that's why I ain't talking to nobody.
Yeah, I ain't heard.
from him since.
He's laying low.
They was there, so, hey.
Yeah, it's good.
It is what it is.
Anyway.
So he didn't, he didn't answer his question.
How are you rooting for next?
Yeah.
You need to know who's left in it?
Norway.
That's where Paul is from.
She's a Viking.
The Norwegians.
There is.
Well, I'll tell you.
That's that big dude.
I don't even know one day.
I don't even want to need to go any further.
All right.
As far as you're going.
The Vikings are going to win.
I guarantee.
Well, they're going to.
Hey, there you go.
They got the.
Oh, who?
They got the whole crowd, dude.
Oh, no.
Yeah, they got everybody involved in.
Yeah, that is a pretty cool celebration.
I'll give them that.
My hat.
Die the Viking.
But that messy fella, he's good at soccer.
That was one of the better movies I've ever watched was the Viking movie.
What was it?
You all say that?
Which one?
What?
Honor?
with Kirk Douglas and I can't remember the other guys that started.
Kirk Douglas.
That's been a while.
That's been black and white.
Well, no, no, what was so cool about it was is they were.
I got to look it up now.
I don't even know what it is.
Put this guy in a wolf,
a den of wolves.
Yeah.
You know, that they kept hungry.
Well, they didn't have to put it.
He just said, hey, throw me a sword.
Oh, well, Kirk Douglas got his hand
cut off because he he threw the Viking and the sword.
I was talking about a movie from 1958.
Oh, no.
I told you.
The Vikings.
Hey,
he caught the sword.
Wow.
He just gave the warrior yell and jumped in there and killed about 10
wolves before they got him.
It does have 77% on Rodney's.
What's the name of it?
The Vikings.
Oh, that was a good one.
I'm going to watch it.
It was,
oh, it's in color.
Oh, yeah.
It was.
There you go.
Who else started?
Eric Douglas, you know, he raised motocross.
Who else was in that movie?
Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis.
That's it was.
Tony Curtis.
Ernest Bord.
Borg 9.
Janet Lee, I guess, was the one.
Orson Wells was a name?
Wow.
Yeah.
That's a lot of good start.
That was all born back in the 1900.
It was an excellent movie.
It's a technical color epic adventure film.
I'm going to have to watch that.
The best part of it, I don't even remember.
I don't think if it may have been.
and Tony that jumps in the arena with all the wolves.
It was based on a novel by Edison Marshall.
There you go.
It was a...
What would you been in the Viking days?
What would you have been dead?
Oh.
I'd probably been the roer.
Well, that was back in the day when there was men.
Oh, boy.
That's right.
Oh, boy.
You didn't do it all.
Man were men, he says.
And anybody that was your old cosay.
Hunter, do you follow Joe Blow movie clips?
That seems like something you do.
I do not.
You're a big movie guy.
I did not.
Have you seen this movie?
I have, no.
Are you going to add it to your list?
I will.
That's I spoken so high of it.
Joe Dirt would have made a good Viking.
I have a 1959 movie.
Joe Dirt would have made a good biking.
Yeah, Joe Dirt would have made a good bike.
The Dirt Viking.
I'm so confused by that state.
I just got a movie in the mail called Some Like It Hot, and it's from 1959.
Really?
Yeah, and I'm really excited to watch it.
Who's in it?
Do you know who's in it?
Is there a reason you chose it?
Is that one that song was written?
It's about two guys.
It's about two guys trying to, like, flee the mob, so they dress up like women to do it,
and it looked really funny.
It's a comedy slash musical
And it's 95% on Rotten Tomato
I'm out
It's a classic Billy Wilder comedy
About two male musicians
Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon
You remember them, sir
Tony Curtis or Jack Lemon?
That's a big one
Yeah, there you go
Musical, I ain't much on musicals
It's got Marilyn Monroe in
That's why you're watching
There it is
This ain't the one where she walks over thing
And her dress blows up right
Yeah, that was a low budget.
Low budget.
That's low budget.
With Marilyn Monroe or you being sarcastic?
I don't know.
I wasn't alive then, so I'm not real sure.
He made quite a stir when she hit the scene.
Did you have a crush on her?
Especially when the dress blew up.
Yeah.
Did you have a crush on Marilyn Monroe growing up?
Well, she was a hammer.
She was a hammer.
Hammer time.
Can't touch this.
You can't touch this.
That's right.
That's what she said.
You can't touch this.
Okay.
There you go.
Well, she was blonde, so I didn't know.
Yeah.
But y'all had TV, huh?
Did y'all have ATV?
No, we didn't have TV, but we had a TV was available at the store.
Oh, that's where you watched all your TV.
Oh, you're at the TV.
But your mom and dad had a TV later because that's where he would watch the Graschro Marx on that TV.
Well, no, no, because that was.
there was two scenes that best comedians ever,
Gras Joe Marks and Red Skelethalty.
And both times, all you heard was he did something,
one of them did something,
and then all you heard was a dud.
My dad is laying on the floor,
and he looks like he's having an epileptic fit.
Oh.
Laughing?
Yeah, because he was laughing and look,
and I mean, I'm talking about,
running tears.
It was water running out of his eye.
And he's...
That's his laugh?
No, no, I'll sit.
And hey, damn the sound coming out of him.
He just, no audible sound period.
He's shaking all over and water's running out of his eye.
I'm all fired today.
Hey, I fired up.

Let me check the script.
Where's it at?
Gar!
How's it?
That's funny right there.
I don't care who you are.
I tried to see what he'd be with a biking.
Let's see.
The Raiders from the north.
Raiders from the north.
That's what they were called.
How did they know to go south?
Where else you go?
That's where everything was.
Yeah, that's where everything.
Hey, hey, they went south with the warm up.
Yeah, where else you got to go.
Because they come out of the Arctic.
That would be wild back in them days.
Well, no, hey.
Not knowing anything existed down there.
You just take off.
You know?
Talk about faith, man.
Just take off.
And them boats wasn't big.
They was big, but they wasn't big enough to go out on the ocean like they.
Oh, yeah.
They was.
Yeah, they was.
The way they were designed.
But good grief.
That's why I said, hey, that was back when men were men.
Yeah, because you, you, uh,
I guess you had no fear because you didn't know nothing to be scared of.
Yeah, you had a lot of guinea pigs.
Most of the, you know, they're like seven foot tall and, you know, like 400 pounds.
Yeah, but the age of exploration would have been a wild time to be alive.
Yeah.
The Vikings always ate very well.
Did they?
Oh, yeah.
What they eat?
Every thing they could care.
Bears?
Bears.
You have a thing that was edible?
they killed it and ate it.
Yeah, that's kind of like that.
When I swiped back one of the days, you had big wooden tables and there was a feast on it.
Yeah.
If you wanted a piece of meat and it was down to the table, you just stepped up on it and stepped in the mashed potatoes.
Where does he get this from?
You just step on everybody's food.
Because I ain't nobody going to tell you, oh, hey, don't do that.
Because if they did, they'd get the head chopped off with that.
I don't know.
Like we just left the Vikings and went to Elmer Fudd for a second.
Yeah.
Yeah, boys.
Hey.
Get a rabbit.
That boy didn't play.
Woo.
That's wild.
That's wild time.
Well, I'll tell you what.
Last night, we all went to go eat at the warehouse.
How many hush puppies do you eat?
Marking the guys from idols aside.
Oh, he got there.
We got there first and he ate hush puppies first.
I've already ate one box on one basket before they showed up.
Where does he put it?
He could just keep, he can do it.
I ate four one time.
We was there somewhere.
Well, no.
I don't know.
They just kept coming and ate.
Then when I got my steak, I couldn't eat but just like three bites of steak.
Because you had a loaf of bread.
I had a loaf of bread.
I ate four baskets.
Ah.
He can eat them.
That's what people ask me.
Does I eat all them dough?
No, no.
That's like cake.
Okay.
She said, I hate your guts.
And I was, Kay, why do you hate my gut?
She said, because I've been around you for 50 years.
She said, I fed you like he was a hog in a pen, trying to fatten you up.
And she said, you're still just a skinny rail.
Yeah, he's stand up and stand sideways.
Take his tongue out.
He looks like a zippling.
Used to, now he looks like a frog when he stands it.
He wouldn't, and he wouldn't get no dessert.
I tried to get some dessert.
Got a little bird and no butt.
Oh, wow.
Like, I can't believe I ate seven of Fields hamburgers.
That's with everything on.
That's incredible.
Yeah, where do you put it?
Do you pocket?
No.
You ought to get in that hot dog eating condo.
Legs are hollow.
His legs are hollow.
That's what you need to do.
We need to put him in that.
Well, he can't eat everything like that.
There's only a few things he can just chow down on.
It's crazy.
60 or 70 hot dogs.
One of them is southern-made donuts.
Yeah.
I gained two or three dozen southern my donuts before they even cool off.
Well, that's because they come out of that grazing, they're like hot dandy.
I'm serious.
That was the secret.
Put in your mouth and then swallowed.
Put it in your mouth, swallow it.
Because they just, they bounced in your mouth.
We stopped, and everybody would get a dozen.
You know, when I'll say everybody, that would be the kids,
dad would get a dozen, mom would get a dozen, and all the kids.
kids get a dozen of people.
The sign had to be lit up, though.
Fresh.
And they would eat.
Hey, would eat it for him left parking lot?
Really?
Oh, yeah.
It'd be gone for a left park lot.
I'm a husky feller, but I just don't really care for donuts.
They ain't ever been my poison.
I do love them.
Well, the maid was, mm, good grease.
Yeah.
Yeah, they ain't ever been my poison.
I don't know.
Now, them colatchies they make her now with them sausages wrapping that bread.
I'll eat that.
Yeah.
Oh!
I'll smash him.
What?
I have got, I think I, you know, at least Christine said Trace is going to bring me some
Brockworth.
Well, did you get her to get your hot dog roller?
No, no, they ain't, she ain't come up yet.
I know, but you're going to get that road.
She's ordered that.
The hot dog rolls.
Hold on.
Oh, yeah.
We got the one.
We got to have.
Hold on.
I got to get new one now.
You got one?
I got the cover.
Did yours come with a little neon sign that says hot dogs?
That's the one we got.
well it was what the $200 one yeah that's yeah yeah all I know is it had about eight of them and
she said which one you want and I said well what are they called she said well there's one there
for three 29 I said now Martin bought one for 200 right at 200 bucks and I said hey
where's that at she said right there she said it's got a cover and a place for the buns yeah
it's got a warmer under yeah and she said what are you what what what is wrong with you why do
you want?
Yeah.
I said, hey, me and some
friends are going to have it.
Every Sunday night.
I said, and we'll probably play poker too.
There you go.
I said, hey.
Oh, yeah, your poker game?
Oh, yeah.
And you can charge for hot dogs now.
Hey, just cut up a bunch of your onions.
Yeah, just put a tip jar there.
I have a couple of bottles of mustard.
Well, you just assign everybody to do.
You bring the wienies, you bring the buns, you bring this stuff,
and then y'all eat hot dogs all night while you.
That's right.
Hey, you want to get real exotic.
You can get little baskets online too that come with rappers that have hot dogs printed on them.
Oh, that's funny.
Yeah.
And they even make a little full package if you won't want one to go.
There you go.
I'll do that.
When you get busted.
I was asking me, I said, wait a minute.
I said, hey, how many was it at hole?
No, she said, why are you?
I said, I want to know how many at hold.
So, you know, she pulled it up, blew it up a little bit.
I said, that'd be enough.
Yeah.
Good.
That's right, right.
Yeah, hold you.
He said, what are you going to do with 18 hot dogs?
I said, I'm going to eat them.
Yeah, watch me.
Yeah, just watch me.
And we're going to film it.
It is.
I may have just a movie night and, hey, what we're going to have is hot dogs in the movies.
It is a hilarious unnecessary luxury.
You could throw, you could go, you could, I could throw some deer sausage on there.
Uh-huh.
And when I go fishing in the mornings, when I go.
back they'll be ready.
Oh, absolutely.
Or when you go hunting.
Because I was telling, I said, this way, I said, you wouldn't even have to worry
about me.
I said, I'll have my hot dogs rolling at all.
Rolling, rolling, rolling.
Rolling, rolling.
We got to get him to self off, man.
I said, then all I had to do was turn on Rowdy Yates was raw-had.
Rolling, rolling, rolling.
Uh, uh, oh, dog is rolling.
Hunter, do you know why people started calling hot dogs glizzies?
no
Gleazy
Why is that what everybody says
On the Instagram world
I don't know man
My dad started calling it that though
Glizzies?
Yeah
Yeah what
Hot dogs
Oh you should have been
Our man
Our man with a computer
Ain't here
So I guess I'm not to do it
Via my phone
You should have
Hot dog night
Oh I was
Yeah
I was there
When he had hamburger nights
And that was
This is a
This is a
This is like going to a restaurant
And having a
a seven-course meal.
Right.
Because, hey.
It was going by the hot dog.
When he put out the spread for a hot dog deal,
you could, you know,
it was like you run it through the garden.
Because he had to have, like,
put these tables together, you know,
and he'd have everything fixed.
You started this end,
and by the time you got at the other end,
you couldn't pick this hot dog up and eat it.
You had to eat with a knife and a fork.
Yeah, too big.
Because it's too big, because you don't fill this sucker up with sauerkraut, onions.
I can't even remember all the stories.
How many of them could you eat?
How many of them could you eat?
You couldn't eat many of his, if you built them right.
I was fixing, if you built them, I would all run it through the garden.
Now, you couldn't, I'd probably.
So we went from hot dogs to glocks.
No, it started as a glock.
Originally, it was a sling for a handgun.
I thought you were talking about hot dog.
That's what I'm talking about.
Where did a Glock come from?
Well, Glock is a brand of firearms.
Oh.
It's like a Glock 17 round Glock?
Well, they make a 17, yeah.
But 17's aside.
Well, why did we go to guns?
I don't know.
It said the nickname likely came from Glock evolving into glizzy.
Okay, because that's a crazy one.
Oh, it says it looked like that.
And then people started joking that a hot dog looked vaguely like the shape of a handguns magazine.
That's not true.
What was the joke?
joke about it is a hot dog or is it or what legs the sandwich or something oh is a hot dog a sandwich
it is it's got bread around it got it bread around it around around 2019 to 2021 on tic-ttock and
twitter lizzie shifted to mean hot dog tic-tok's got a kill away videos of people eating hot dog spawned
memes like glizzy golfer hey do you know that president trump is the king of tic-tok
Huh?
He's the number one.
He's number one in TikTok.
Is he?
Hey, that's what he said on the news the other day.
That's what he said?
Yeah.
Well, he's number one at a lot of things.
Yeah.
Well, no, I'm serious.
That's a poll that just keeps going.
That's a poll.
That was polled one person.
He said, I'm number one TikTok.
He said, I'm number one TikTok.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I wonder if he knows that that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing.
I've been on the road, went to the beach, but you know what?
I didn't stop.

not kind of like trying to throw it down the hallway it just ain't it ain't it ain't going to fill it up man
I don't know.
Gleazy simply means hot dog.
Hot dogs are 3.40 to a 44 magnitude.
Yeah, it just ain't going to work.
That ain't.
It ain't there, boys.
Yeah, I don't get it.
So if someone says I'm grabbing a couple of glisies from the grill.
Well, I thought it was a hot dog person.
I bought a hot dog.
It's a glissie party.
I brought some glisies, baby.
I got some glisies.
What do you bring?
I brought a gluck.
Slang words.
I don't tell you fun.
What else has got a weird slang name?
Hunter, you got a weird slang name.
Honor, you got anything?
I'm trying to think.
Now I'm interested in root words.
Menners and Shiner's.
Well, yeah.
That ain't slang, no.
You know what I brought?
What?
Bradley Monroe.
Maryland Monroe.
Maryland Monroe.
I brought my own entertainment, buddy.
Belize slang originally had nothing to do with hot dogs.
Still don't.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Just at that deal.
feel like there were some younger people there
and they said they were grabbing glisies and I was like
what, huh? Yeah.
I guess I'm too old.
You need to train them. You need to train them.
I just said dogs rolling. I mean, that's all I thought
it was. You need to say them.
Train them, he said.
Sane them too. Train them. Oh, I thought
train them up in the way they should go.
I said, that's my meat being when we went
was getting ready to go catfish. When did we get a picture
of John David in here? A burnt picture
at that. And where did it come from?
a tiny bass.
I bet you he brought it.
I saw him bring it in.
It's like,
if y'all don't mind,
I'm going to put this here.
Hunter,
do you have anything to do with that?
No,
he brought that in with the clock.
Yeah.
Oh.
From a fifth family freedom.
Oh,
okay.
I can't see it very good.
There you go.
You ain't missing nothing.
Well, I mean,
there's a picture of me,
which is weird enough,
but the one,
I just find it odd that his is in the middle.
And size over here facing an angle.
I find,
I feel like that should be shifted in the decor.
In the decor.
You know, put the fungoy is awful.
You put the main thing, the main thing.
Kind of is what I'm saying.
There's too much stuff over there anyway.
Is it?
Yeah.
It just gets lost.
It's become a pretty eclectic collection of-
Betty White in there.
Betty White.
Yeah, here we go again.
Where's Dolly Parton?
You had one of her.
What happened to it?
Yeah, Dolly Parton trying to take on Buckees.
You see that?
No, I didn't know that.
She got her new.
truck stops open.
With Dolly Parton, Tennessee and truck stops.
I saw one.
I did not feel the need to go see them.
It did not look as inviting as Buckees.
So, you know, I just stuck with a beaver.
Boy, it's hard to beat that Brickett Samitz.
Ooh.
That's hard.
The food is so good there.
All the, I got clipped.
All of the chocolate covered on ones.
I couldn't get the boys to get none of that.
You know what I left there with?
What?
A semi-truck with a forked.
All they wanted was a little semi-truck
It had a forklift on it
So they could load and unload pallet
There you go
I was like, you little rascals
You should have fed them something
I tried
They didn't want it all they wanted was that semi-truck
With a forklift
So good job, Buckees, you clipped me on that one
Get the truck that it was a forked off
Yeah
And the trailer don't even lock in
So they move at about four feet
And the trailer falls off
The last time me and you and Godwin
Went to the Buckees in Texas
Oh, we smashed that
And we killed that place.
We did.
We did that.
We did that thing.
Yeah.
I stayed in the truck.
I don't know.
Look there.
Somebody called me.
I'm trying to silence it.
What's up?
Kevin,
I'll call you back.
I'm speaking at a deal for him in August.
So I guess that's why he's calling.
Yeah.
And make sure I'm still coming.
I don't like my phone.
Too intrusive.
Yeah.
Martin don't want his phone hooked up.
Well, Johnny D.
can drag his screen back and forth across there on his computer,
so we don't know what he's looking at half the time.
I'm just hardwired.
straight to my phone to the TV.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, that's a deal I got coming up in August.
Oh, man.
The, I don't know what we're talking about.
Oh, man, what a plan?
I ain't got much more.
You need some topic ideas?
Yeah, what you got?
Anything.
So the YouTube comments have been fun to read.
Yeah, how did the people like Rebecca?
Rebecca did great.
Yeah.
Episodes 1 out of 10.
Every comment is positive.
Yeah, that's awesome.
Yeah, she was hilarious.
When did y'all have her on?
A few weeks, a couple weeks ago, I guess, yeah.
You know, she called me when she was like, this is Rebecca.
I was like, okay, Rebecca.
And she was like, Willie's daughter.
He's a hoot.
And side did a video for one of her friends.
And we ain't even run the best line out there on the social media yet about the disappointment.
It's coming.
how she was an Asian disappointment because none of her none of them became doctors it'll be posted
today okay there we go no she was great I'm glad I'm glad they liked her that's good yeah what
comments you got though what else you got do you remember uh when I sent you all the comments of
yoga yeah oh I figured that would be an interesting topic I had never heard that before in my life
yeah so you know folks got mad at us because yoga apparently is anti-christians
yoga apparently allegedly i thought it was just stretching that's what i thought i didn't know it was
what is it hunter what did they say it was i can't even remember now that it was a
a hindu practice downward dog so so yoga was an antacrashash yeah let's go with that there you
go that's the buzzword oh don't stretch like that yeah get excommunicated who would have ever thought
yoga was antacrash.
Yeah, apparently Johnny did up on that table doing Downward Dog was a big deal.
They could have just said they were offended and didn't want to see him like that.
Well, who was saying that?
People in the comments.
Really?
Yeah.
Y'all was up there doing yoga breaking the rules.
Yeah.
Because it's Hindu.
Well, God have been forgiven of that.
I just find it funny.
If you fall down and land like that, you just do.
Yeah, I had no idea that yoga was an anti-Christian.
Hey, we can check out what chat says about that too.
Yeah, let's check out.
Is yoga.
Let me tell you can sure do things you couldn't do before after you do it for a week.
Really?
Oh, yeah.
That's a thoughtful question.
Pick stuff up off the floor.
The short answer, yoga.
It's a big thing.
The short answer, yoga itself is not inherently anti-Christian,
but whether a Christian should practice it depends on what kind of yoga is being practiced in their conviction.
Well, yeah.
That's just like watching TV.
Yeah, that don't change nothing.
That's like watching Game of Thrones or not, you know.
Those who avoid yoga point out that yoga originated within Hindu spiritual traditions.
Traditional yoga can include practices intended to unite the Hindu concepts with the divine chanting.
Did y'all chant?
No, we listen to Lauren Degel.
Okay, so that probably helps that.
This is my battle.
Or honoring Hindu deities.
They believe participating in spiritual.
influx can conflict with Christian worship inside passages such as Exodus.
The people that are really into that, yeah, they're, they're a while.
View modern Western yoga, primarily a stretching, breathing, and exit.
I didn't know yoga was anything that wasn't stretching, breathing, and exercise.
That's what it was.
You go up there and try to do what I was doing.
Some of it, I couldn't do.
That's what I'm saying.
I mean, that's what I thought it, I just thought yoga's biggest deal,
was like increasing flexibility.
Oh, those that are really into that,
they got out of the body experiences and all that junk.
Yeah.
Yeah, if you're just doing it for stretching.
I didn't believe it until I'll run up on the guy that we literally,
somebody went and got a big needle.
Because they had said, you know,
he's in his yoga position on top of a double bump.
So basically it seems like anything in life, however, whatever your viewpoint is and why you're doing it, I mean, anything can turn anti-Christian.
Yeah.
Not just stretching with a bunch of, you know, that's a dumbest thing I've ever heard, man.
Get out that legalism.
Yeah.
If you believe that's a problem, none of us are making it.
That's all I'm saying.
None of us are, we ain't, heaven is empty.
Like, there's going to be two folks up there.
father and the son
there's going to be a lot of people
that are really in for a shot
if they make it to heaven
game wardens
because there's going to be people there
that they said oh no
that's what I'm talking about
they're going to be surprised
to see who is there
and they're also going to be surprised
to see who isn't there
and it's going to be like
oh he doesn't make it
huh
he must have been doing yoga
yeah must have been stretching
he's like
Closet yoga doer.
Closet yoga doer.
I think that's the name for it.
Yeah.
Clauseit yoga doing.
But hey,
good news is we're all reformed.
That's right.
Well,
I was going to tell us a story.
We're just like theology.
We're all reformed, man.
Then people that are into that,
I'm telling you,
they,
you know,
because a lot of them have out-of-body experiences.
I never had it.
Them folks that are into that
ain't hosting a camp for
a young girl.
whose fathers were lost in the act of service.
That's what I'd say.
Like, they, come on, man, come on.
Like, come on.
Like, if that's what you're going to get,
then we certainly can't run half of what we talk about today.
No, and that's a great ministry that John and Paula went to support.
Yeah, and we've got a great ministry that is in town with us today.
Idols aside, and I know you guys have met Mark and some of those guys.
And Sa has done some events for idols aside.
So I was telling us last night
he wanted to have Mark on the show for a segment.
Yeah, we can do that.
Yeah.
Mark, you're sitting in here.
You might as well come on in here.
I'm going to give me my chair.
Oh, he's going to go there?
You got them John Chris camo pants on.
You get them at Zarr?
No, actually wore those doing yoga this morning.
Oh.
I had a body experience.
I'm sorry.
They were yoga pants.
Yoga pants.
I wasn't trying to step on your toes with a yoga talk.
Man, I'm learning a lot today about yoga and hot dogs and Maryland
Monroe.
I mean, it's been good.
Yeah.
Oh, it's quite a learning.
Man, what if you, Hunter, what if you eat a glizzy doing yoga?
Where does that get you other than a bellyache?
Yeah, a hostile, possible is it?
Yeah, yeah, that'd be a problem.
Godly, well, Mark, welcome all, ma'am.
Look, we love what you guys do.
And in a short version, I'm going to let you tell what you guys do instead of our interpretation of what you guys do about idols aside and what y'all are doing, man.
Yeah, our heartbeat is really fighting for those that can't fight for themselves. And that's fatherless kids and single mamas. And my heartbeat, you know, for this ministry is to see armies of people, you know, fighting for these kids and moms. And we do that by serving kids in the schools and public schools. We have hunting lodges in a few states. And we try to get the local body church nationwide to love these people because most of your single mamas in this country today don't go to church because they don't feel like they fit. We want them to fit.
Yeah.
Hey, look, I know, I know your story, but I want you to tell you these people your story.
How did you get into this?
Well, the good Lord, you know, he called me into it.
I grew up in central Florida, had an amazing mama.
She was 15 when she had me, and my parents got divorced when I was a little kid,
so it was pretty much raised by my mom.
Oh, you without, without the whole family?
Yeah, just me and my mom for a while.
Sure.
and I was blessed to go play college football at App State.
That was a long time ago, boys.
That's four days good.
Yeah, that was long.
That was way back.
But that's when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ was my sophomore year of college.
Boy, I had a way different college experience.
My first two years did not.
We can't talk about my first two years of college.
I don't like you.
We can't talk about my freshman in early sophomore year.
But last year and a half, it was on for him.
But after college was blessed to get married to my better half.
That's Becky.
We've been married 24 years.
Actually, this past week, 24 years we celebrated.
Well, congratulations on that.
Yeah, very blessed.
And worked in the corporate world for a while, and God came to me in a dream.
And back at the end of 2008, he came to me in a dream.
And he said, I want you to use everything I put in your life, you know, from growing up without, you know, your dad there.
And college football experience and what you've learned in the corporate world.
He said, Mark, I want you to take all that stuff and go about my business.
And so I'm just trying to be obedient to the Lord and serve those that don't have an earthly father
and point them to a heavenly father.
And that's what we do.
Are y'all nationwide like now or is it growing, spreading?
How's that?
At a grassroots level, we've been serving in Lakeland, Florida for a little over 18 years.
Okay.
And have a hunting lodge in Lake Wales.
And Paducah, Kentucky, we started the second location there nine years ago.
Okay.
And my wife and I and our girls, we are moving to Alito, Texas.
just west of Fort Worth in four weeks.
Okay.
To start a third location and that we're doing a few things different in Texas.
We're really trying to grow through the local body church, some larger churches there and
some Christian colleges to try to get more people active in that area.
But really trying to create a model that's more duplicatable for churches nationwide to say,
hey, you know, we can, we need to support fatherless.
We need to support single moms and we want that to become the culture of every church.
Okay.
Oh, that's cool, man.
Yeah, that's, we do hunt a lot.
We have, that's fun stuff too, but that's just the left hook.
That's the icing on the cake.
Yeah, well, that was always Phil's ministry about hunting because you have a captive audience.
Where are they going to go?
Yep.
And you got a gun.
You got them in a duck, you got them in a duck plan and you're the owner of the boat.
Yeah, you're the owner of the boat and you got a shotgun.
Where are they going?
Yeah, they got to listen.
You're going to hear this whether you like it or not.
Yeah, that was.
A lot of these boys, we serve boys and girls that are middle school, high school age,
and they get to go on hunts of a lifetime.
kill big white-tail bucks, exotic animals,
get to catch 40-pound bass, right?
Well, most people, okay, most people like me, okay,
I was privileged and to grow up with a mom and dad.
Yeah.
And siblings.
Yeah, the nuclear family unit stayed the same.
The strength of a family unit, okay, it is,
It's priceless.
Yeah.
Okay.
Because you have mom to go to and dad and siblings.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
And you can learn from all of them.
And, you know, I look at people because when I'm out speaking, I said, okay, if you, if, you know, me personally, if I was told your, your diagnosis was cancer and I'm going to die.
It wouldn't bother me.
Turned that around when I had kids, if I had taken my daughter or son to the doctor,
and they said, hey, you know, she's got two months to live.
Yeah.
He's got stage four cancer.
Well, if you don't have a father and mother and a family unit, who do you turn to in that time?
And especially if you don't know the creator.
Yeah.
Yeah, 100%.
You know, and these guys are doing that for children that have lost their dad through first responders, military, all this other stuff.
Because this world we're in is wicked.
And your rural communities today, you know, I would say West Monroe, Monroe,
yeah, a rural community is about 45% of kids.
And rural communities don't have a dad in the home.
In large cities today, it's up to, it's over 75%.
Really?
So that, I mean, you look at the world today, you know, when you pull,
God out of the picture and then the family, the home's broken, everything else falls apart.
And so our goal is to teach these young men how to be real men.
Vikings, as we call it, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Bring masculinity back, man.
That's what we're trying to do.
You know, all my life, okay, you know, people had the misconception that men don't cry.
Yeah, they do.
It is.
Human beings.
That's a bunch in here, well.
Yeah.
It's a human being.
If I,
you know,
if you cut me,
that's why I hate races.
If I cut you and your,
your skin is black,
your skin is black.
You're going to bleed red.
Oh, okay.
I didn't know where we're.
If you cut me, mine's white,
I'm going to bleed red.
You know?
And look,
God created,
mankind. Yeah, all in his image. Everybody. All. We're all in his image. Yeah.
Great news. The federal EV rebate is back. Eligible customers get up to $5,000 with the federal

today for more details. It's been sweet to, you know, a lot of these boys and girls we serve,
you think everybody knows how to push Zepko button fishing pole.
and catch a fish.
And we get so many 15, 16, 17-year-old boys that are never, never fished.
We get boys sitting around the lodge and we throw some burgers and hot dogs on the grill.
And they've never,
they've never thrown a burger on the grill.
No goodness.
Never made a can't fire.
And just the little things that we take for granted, you know, we're teaching these young men.
It's a big deal to them.
A real big deal too.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's awesome, man.
Yeah, I mean, yeah, all of us, you know, yeah, I guess that's just stuff we took for granted
because we had parents in the home.
and they were active, not just parents,
but they were in the home and active and grandparents.
And the whole family unit stayed together,
you know, as long as they could on this earth.
Well, you got to think about it.
Here's a young man,
say he's 14 years old.
If he don't have a father,
he will not, he will grow up,
not even having,
having no one to look, look at,
to see what, you know,
what is it?
What does a man supposed to do?
do. Yeah. Yeah, they want to know. Yeah.
Yeah. As he going to learn how to be a, be a man, well, there ain't no man there. Yeah,
and be a leader and, and all. Hey, I'm supposed to take care of all of you. Yeah. All the things that we as
men are called to do. The society has told us we're not there to do that anymore, though. Yeah.
Look where that got us. Well, that's where society is wrong and lacking. Yeah. Look,
where that got us. Yeah. I wonder, yeah, what could I ever go wrong, right? So,
well, I got two little boys just going to know what it's like to be a man, whether they like it or not.
And no, man, I love what y'all are doing, man. That's, that is, it's just being the hands and feet of
Jesus, right? We're called to take care of the widows. And I mean, they did it all the way back in those
days. So whether the father's not there because he's no longer of this earth or whether he's just
not there because he's not there.
They all need serving in that regard.
So that's really cool, man.
Well, that's like I always look, because if you, if you're a male and you're married
and you have kids and you have boys, okay, there's a big difference than having a son
or a daughter.
All I got's girls.
Even my dog's a chick.
Because I have a daughter.
And when I was in.
I was in the military, okay, so I felt I wasn't there a lot.
Well, my wife would, every time I'd get down on myself,
you know, she'd break out the photo album.
She said, yeah, you wasn't there.
She said, what's that picture there you're looking at?
I said, well, I'm in a six-foot Easter bunny.
Now he'd be a 5-10 Easter bunny.
Yeah.
He kind of shrinking on us, you know.
But, you know, because you forget, okay, it ain't, it ain't the time you spend.
It's the quality of time you spend.
Yeah.
With your siblings, your daughters and son.
But having a daughter and a son is night and day.
We spend a lot of time with these kids, and we take them hunting and have great times in the hunting blinds.
But I think the thing that changes these kids most of all is giving them the road.
map for life and that's the gospel and uh the gospel and jesus is what changes people
well no because i've i've changed the way i think about it you know because i tell people now
i said hey why don't you uh go take a walk in the woods with god because when you read about
okay adam and eve and god used to walk in the cool of the evening in the garden of eden and god did that
was asking them things like, well, how's your day been going?
What did you do today?
But when you think about that, okay,
because like right now, right now Oregon has got a bunch of people together
to sign to try to stop me and people like me from shooting a deer
or go in and catching a cropy out of a lake.
Yeah, we probably won't open to Oregon,
campus this yet.
How ignorant is that?
Because I asked him a question.
Hey, it's evident you haven't walked in the woods with God in his creation.
Yeah.
Or you wouldn't be thinking what you're thinking.
Yeah.
It's not about.
They probably didn't have a father.
No, no.
Well, that could be that could be the problem.
I'm saying.
That's why I say.
Yeah, that's why I say, look where it's got us to today, man.
So some of my better communications with my father was in a death plan.
Oh, absolutely.
It certainly wasn't fixing something.
Me and Dad kind of, we can't put heads on working on repairs together.
We both knew that wasn't a place for us to be together.
Oh, this is me.
Growing up, I thought my dad loved feel better than me.
I got in the duck blind with him one day, and I actually brought it up.
And he busted out laughing and got tears in his eye.
He said, no, he said, you won't understand what I'm going to tell you right now.
Yeah.
He said, you will when you get married and have kids of your own.
He said, it wasn't that I didn't love you and did what, he said, oh, I know I gave Phil more time than I gave you.
He said, but you didn't need it.
And he did.
Yeah.
And once I had kids, yeah, their needs come above yours.
Oh, absolutely.
Yeah, and I got two of them that couldn't be more different.
Yeah.
Well, which is a great thing.
Oh, yeah, 100%.
If we were all the same, how what a boring world this would be.
Unless we's all like you.
Well, you'd have a lot of fun if you like me.
At least you're going to go out laughing.
I'll put it that way.
Oh, no, but thank you for coming.
Oh, look, we always close with a Bible verse.
Do you all have one that's like the flagship of idols aside?
There's a lot in scripture about fatherless,
but my personal life first is Jeremiah 2913.
You shall seek me and find me when you give me all your heart.
There you go.
You know, I think for the Lord to do big things in our lives,
we've got to go all in full serend.
I always like Jeremiah, what, 29-11.
Yeah.
You don't know the plans that have.
for you.
I'll tell harm you, but to
prosper you to give you a hope
for the future.
It's a good one too.
Yeah.
Amen.
It's almost like he was a prophet.
Yeah.
Oh man.
All right.
Well, we'll see y'all next time right here
in the duck call room.
We're out.
