Starting point is 00:00:00 You like Bucky's? I don't ever go on. Oh, no, he ain't ever been in more. You never been? I don't never go in. He said it's in a parking lot. So he just went in and bought him. He's got people, Jacob.
Starting point is 00:00:19 That's where you need to get to. That's the level you got to get to. He's got people. He's got personal shoppers. Yeah, I don't think that's going to ever happen for me. I like it. I'm quasi-one-a-one-s personal shoppers. It's enjoyable.
Starting point is 00:00:32 But I know what he likes. He doesn't change. No new tricks over those. You like, what's your favorite snack from Buckees? Do you have one? Probably the chocolate covered almonds. Yeah. Somebody was telling me about those cookie dough bites that they have in the refrigerator.
Starting point is 00:00:48 I'm sure. I'm not a cookie dougher. I don't just heard about them. I'm not a cookie dough person either, but they love them. They swear by them. Raised chocolate covered raisin. Yeah. I just like it.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Chocolate covered raisin. Do what? That's terrible. Oh, hey, terrible. That's good. Yeah. Why did raisins even get started? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:07 What's that little brand that had the cardboard box, or not cardboard, but like a little paper container when I was younger of raisins? Oh, what are those? It's not the... What was the question? A little red box of raisins. It's like a smaller...
Starting point is 00:01:19 Sunmade. Is it? Is that it? Yeah, I think that's it. Sun? It was a small box. Yeah, it's a little box. Yeah, it's a little box.
Starting point is 00:01:28 It's like... I'd always take the whole thing healthy. Do they still make it? I ain't eat no raisin. I just figured that. That is a good-looking woman on that box. Well, I figured they'd have to take her off.
Starting point is 00:01:42 I'm a man with a type, and the sun-made raisin lady might have shaped my whole type of woman. Did you eat a lot of raisins growing up? I remember the boxes. I don't like raisins. Well, I love it. He kind of dresses just like Allison. Hey, I can eat a case of what I'm saying. Lots of red, lots of white.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Because I used to take it, do it like a chew. Brown hair, fair skin. I'd have the whole box in my mouth That box started hatred for me Hatred? Yeah, hatred of raisins I don't like raisins I don't like them either
Starting point is 00:02:11 I don't know how they ever call them I'll eat them in a trail mix But I'm not like But I'm telling you that woman is gorgeous On the box I can't get past that I feel like The raisin lady was good looking what lady
Starting point is 00:02:22 They still make it by the way We're glad you're advocates For the sun-made lady I did you know I went to Gunnersville Alabama yesterday I saw an interesting shirt up there that only the state of Alabama could provide.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Would Hunter's grandpa wear it? Probably. I don't know if, well, we'll see if Hunter cuts this out or not. Is it that bad? It's just, it's weird. There was a guy wearing a shirt in a gas station. In between Gunnersville and Scottsboro, Alabama, there's nothing there, but I had stopped gas station.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Was he, it was for sale there? No, he was wearing it. This man had purchased this shirt. and it was a Native American on a horse and underneath it it says should have been a cowboy. Oh.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Should learn to rope and ride. Could you see that shirt anywhere other than the state of Alabama? They would cancel you quickly. That's pretty good. Native of America? No state. Mississippi.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Mississippi. Yeah. I just, I looked at the guy walking out of the deal. I said, hmm. I was walking in and take a leak. He was walking out. I said, hmm. That's a rage bait shirt. Yeah, that one, that one's one you make for clicks. I don't know if he made it himself on like, you know. Well, you know that guy that I used to have as a customer, and we know he's not listening. Who, Hunter's Grandpa? No, the guy that kept coming in
Starting point is 00:03:52 with the world-fullest outrageous shirts. Oh, yeah. Don't, don't bully me. Yeah, no, no, we can't go any further there. I don't get people. Hunter's. Stop laughing. Hunter, do you know the shirt? Yeah, Hunter's part of the group tag. Yeah, oh, yeah. I have this one customer and he wears these obscene t-shirts. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:04:10 I'm like, you can't wear that. Yeah. But he does? But he's deaf. That's also true. So I don't, but does that mean you can get away whatever? I wrote an elevator this morning and, uh, no, where was that? Meridian, Mississippi.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Where does life got to be to be taking elevators in Meridian, Martin? Well, I had to spend the night last night. I couldn't make it home. I couldn't. I know. I'm not who I used to be. At 1 a.m. I had to wave the white flag. I said, no, boys, I'm pulling over and going.
Starting point is 00:04:36 In Meridian? In Meridian. Ain't as good as I want. But there were two deaf couples on the elevator with me, which was very interesting. Talk to them? Not really, but I kind of understood what they were saying because of trying to teach our kids sign language before they could talk. So I got a lot of it. I was like, huh.
Starting point is 00:04:56 I could have asked them, you know, me still remembering for like a cup of water or something. but it wasn't a help none with the milk and all that stuff that we taught the boys back in the day. But it was, yeah. Why did you teach your? But they did not. Well, one of them had on a wild shirt, but it was just a Hawaiian shirt. It's like what Al used to wear when he was Big Al. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Not now that he's skinny, Al. I don't really see him in the Hawaiian garb anymore. He's got off the flower print. A short sleeve button up is a good gut hider. Not as good as a vest. No, that's a container. That's a container. That's a that's a censor down.
Starting point is 00:05:31 A short sleeve button up is a big man's go-to. I'm not. They're friendly. Oh, I do. Hold on. Al's daughter's in here and she just called hard. Oh, yeah, she. I got to wear it.
Starting point is 00:05:46 I don't think I've worn it on this podcast. I've worn it before, but I haven't worn it on the podcast. The Gulf of America one. You have a Gulf of America? Oh, yeah. Al walked up to me. He said, I have shrunk past this, but I figured you could appreciate it. And I said, you bet you.
Starting point is 00:05:59 And it's just Gulf of America all over it. Yeah. That's ridiculous, Mark. Is it like a map? Is it just like a map? No, it really celebrates Gulf of America. It was, I feel like it was one of those Etsy shop deals. T-Moo.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Yeah, right when all that happened. I feel like it may have been fan mail. I can't imagine Al actually purchasing that. I would. It was, oh, he bought it. Oh, okay. Oh, he bought it. Al.
Starting point is 00:06:26 He's got short? Oh, I did not know this was a suit. It could happen to Al was if he got like on Etsy or something. That sucker would buy some interesting clubs. For a man who likes putting his name on his own forearm, I'm sure he'd put it all kinds of monogram stuff. I got some new pants on the way.
Starting point is 00:06:43 I can't tell you about them yet. I'll wear them as soon as they come in. Britches? Mm-hmm. Like full-length bridges? Oh, yeah. For America. They're awesome.
Starting point is 00:06:50 The American flag britches. Don't worry about it. July 4. Yeah, I know. It's the semi-Quincentennial. You know how many I've been practicing saying that? Oh. You, uh, the what?
Starting point is 00:07:01 The semi-quincennial. Semi-Quintennial. What does that mean? It's our 250th birthday, America. Oh, yeah. What's a quintennial? Centennial is 100, right? So this would be 500, so it's...
Starting point is 00:07:18 So it's a semi-quincennial. I don't know. Isn't every year until you get to 500, a semi-quincentennial? No. The semi-quincentennial means 250. What language is is? Half quintennial, not a semi. You want to argue with the government?
Starting point is 00:07:37 That's who named it. Yeah, I mean, I've got some, we've got some things we could discuss. I got some things we could discuss. Oh, right. You didn't know that's what we're calling it? I had no idea. This July 4th is the semi-Quincentennial. That is officially one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
Starting point is 00:07:57 I don't understand why it can't be semi. It needs to be half. right because quince is five right am i thinking about this right i have no idea it's the semi quintennial why can't you just accept that that means 250 i think there's a better way to say 250 i feel like i don't like i don't like the words you're using yeah yeah me neither 250 hey 250 you just say 250 yeah no everybody's saying it no i can't even say the words you're talking you can't say semi quintentennial no all right give it a ghost No, okay.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Sounded out. I mean, semi-quincennial sounds like a medical condition. And it is. Like, if you have semi-quintennial. It's a medical condition for whooping Britain's butt, 250 years ago. Like, if you're semi-quincennial lasts for more than four hours, you should see a doctor. Like, I feel like that's where we're at with this. If you have a semi-quincentennial, it lasts for 250 years.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Not four hours. And that's a problem. If you go semi-quincentennial. Right? Trouble closing a class. It's kind of like going septic. Yeah. I made you.
Starting point is 00:08:59 It's just to say, 250. Yeah. Yeah, I don't understand. Why did, why do we have to call it something other than this 250? Yeah. But you remember in 197, you remember in 1976, right? I was about to say, no, I do not. When it was the bicentennial. Oh, I remember 1776. You weren't there for that. 19, 1976, no mean nothing. But you were there when it was America's 200th birthday. Do you remember them calling it? Right. That's what they called it. Well, bicentennial. Yeah. Makes sense because it's two centennials. I'm just telling you what we as a people have decided to call it.
Starting point is 00:09:35 A semi-truck is not a half a truck. It's a whole truck. Maybe you would like the bicycle. This one's harder to say. See, that's why we're going with semi-quincentennial, because it's fun to say, and it's better than bisesquincennial, or cester centennial or the quarter millennium. That's why.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Now, that's better. Hey, it ain't tried nothing. There's 250 years old for crying out loud. Yeah. English. English. That is English. That's why we kick Britain's butt so we could speak English.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Yeah, you know what? Britain made these kind of words, and we said no more. I'm just telling them. We're going to start yeating. Yeah, we're speaking English over here because of that. Dadgummit. Throwing tea into the harbor. We're like it as simple as it can be.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Spring is rolling on into summer. We're out there in the garden. I've been walking. my cucumbers every evening. And you know what makes it so easy? The pocket hose. Whenever I turn the water off, it goes and sucks back up whenever I want it on. Turn it on.
Starting point is 00:10:36 I can water my cucumbers. I'm not dragging 200 foot of hose from my spiket over there to the cucumbers or to the trees. That's why I'm excited to tell you about the world's number one expanding garden hose and their brand new product, the pocket hose ballistic. Pocket hose ballistic is a lightweight anti-burst hose that's easy to manage and easy to store. just turn the water on, it grows, turn the water off, it drinks back to pocket size. The hose is reinforced with the same material used in bulletproof vest and the fibers it's made with are actually five times stronger than steel.
Starting point is 00:11:08 So it's definitely made to last plus an upgraded UV coating keeps it looking new year after year. And it comes with a pocket pivot, giving you 360 degree rotation at the spigot. It's total freedom. You move, it follows. Pocket hose has changed the game for me. I love this thing, super durable, lightweight, and makes yard work a breeze. And now for a limited time, when you purchase a new pocket hose ballistic, you'll get a free 360-degree rotating pocket pivot and a free thumb drive nozzle.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Just text to 64,000. That's dark to 64,000 for your two free gifts will purchase. Start. The 64,000 message and data rates may apply. I would like to be a part of the Boston Tea Party. I wouldn't. I wasn't either. Washed all that tea?
Starting point is 00:11:59 I'll forget that. They didn't have air conditioning. I mean, there's a lot of things they didn't have. And in Boston, they didn't have heat. They're in afar. You know it was cold up there. You know it was cold. Boston, they didn't have any sense either.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Yeah. And last time I went there, it's like I didn't have no salt or pepper either. Yeah, that's it. So, you know, they must have thrown that in there with the tea. I had some good pizza in Boston. Pizza? Mm-hmm. Pizza is for everyone.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Praise God. That was probably a smart move on your part. It was good. We went to a Red Sox game and then we went there. It's pretty good. Red So that was a good move on your part. Y'all went full-blown tourists. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:12:37 That's like you don't ever want to go to Britain. If you're in Germany. How would... Yeah. Yeah. If you're in Germany. You got to eat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Okay. So, hey, stay in Germany. Mm-hmm. The food there is real good. Hold on. England got fishing chips down, though. Yeah, they can cook at Ocean Whitefish. Defined Britain.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Like, where are we talking about? Well, there's too many countries in that. That's how I was about to say. I have no idea what it even means. I don't say, where are we talking about? That's enough. I don't know who's part of it. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:09 It's the UK. No, you're in Britain. Yeah. Yeah. Because they're all on the same team in the Olympics. When the World Cup starts, they got their own team. I don't know. And they got a king.
Starting point is 00:13:19 He ain't even in charge of nothing. No. It's very confusing. That's the cool part. What? They got a king. He ain't charged it. Did you imagine that job, though?
Starting point is 00:13:29 Who are you, the king? What do you do? Shake hands. He's a king. He's an entertainer. And he's very good at it. Is he? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:38 What? He did what? He's an entertainer. Is it a king now? He's a real good speaker. Like King Charles? King Charles was just over here. He's an entertainer.
Starting point is 00:13:50 And a great speaker. Donald Trump had him up on the stage and said something outrageous that made me laugh. and then I forgot what it was. Oh, no, the best one Trump ever pulled. He was having a meeting with somebody. Oh, yes, it's Japan. And he asked the guy and said, hey, y'all like surprises.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Why did you tell us about Pearl Harbor? They were busting on them for not telling them about starting war. He said, hey, hold on. You didn't tell us about Pearl Harbor. He said, hey, why didn't you tell us about Pearl Harbor? And it was a Japanese lady behind you. Praise God. It's your eyes.
Starting point is 00:14:26 It was priceless. Praise God. He's a funny person. But hey, leave it to Trump. Who would have to say in anything like that? Oh, he told that old boy sitting in there with him and said, I know you heard me those big beautiful ears. I mean, that is such a.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Yeah. He looked like. He looked like Dr. Spock. I know you, I know you heard me those big beautiful ears. I was like, he did not really just say. Yeah, he did.
Starting point is 00:14:48 He called, he made fun of his ears, but he called him beautiful. So is that okay? He looked like Dr. Spock. on Star Trek. He didn't call him Dr. Spock. That would be rude. That man runs NASA for crying out loud.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Oh, hey, I just tell you, your boys got big ears. I bet that... Beautiful ears. I bet that guy calls it a semi-Quincentennial. Yeah, they're beautiful. He heard it come. I'm not getting off of it. I will say the word semi-quincentennial on every episode of this from now until the 5th of July.
Starting point is 00:15:17 I got Simmons to wheel in here. We got it. Oh. It hurt him so bad. He got choked up. See, that semi-Quincentennial gave him emphysema. Look at there. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:32 I got to go back to this because you don't believe me. About what? That that's the name of it. I was still on that. You can go that it's... Semi means half in Latin. In Latin. And does Quincentennial mean 500?
Starting point is 00:15:48 Quinn means five. Well, that's fine. Yeah, I mean... But a semi-truck's not half a truck. That's not. So you're saying you're giving us a falsehood. We get to pick and choose on which root of semi we use. I don't like that.
Starting point is 00:16:03 We need to stay consistent. We spell whole three different ways that it means 14 different words. I mean, try and try and really break down English and you're going to feel weird. Yeah, we don't have the best system. It's a weird system. But we do make it our own. That's for sure. A semi-truck is not one single vehicle,
Starting point is 00:16:28 but rather a combination of two distinct units that can bend and pivot. Okay. So a semi-truck. That throws your three out right there. It has to be two parts. It's saying half truck, half trailer. Yep.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Two pieces. Oh, you call it a bunch of halves. Huh? Well, then why did we ever learn half? Why not? When we were learning fraction, why didn't we just say semi instead of one half? It seemed like it had been a lot easier. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:03 This is dumb. Just call it 250. You know what's shorter than semi-quincentennial? All those are standards? But how much fun is it to say? I do like quarter millennium better. It just sounds more intimidating. It does.
Starting point is 00:17:18 It's the quarter millennium. We're a pretty young country when you think about it. Yeah. Pretty dumb, too. How did you just tell it like it is? Young and dumb. It's the period of 250 years. Get off of this half and get off of this centennial
Starting point is 00:17:32 and give it off of all that other crap. Okay? You're talking about 250 years. Boom. Sae's been part of it for 78 of them. That is crazy. Let's do the math. Say.
Starting point is 00:17:46 78 divided by C50. Well, hey, now you're going down where I wasn't very good in scope. Si, you have been around for 31% of America. America, baby. You are a third of America. I'm a third of America. The entire history. You just said things right there.
Starting point is 00:18:03 You can go off all fancy. Yeah. You told her like it was, a third. A third. And when people ask, Cy, how old he is, he doesn't say a third of America. I say, hey, I'm a third of America. You should. That sounds great.
Starting point is 00:18:18 When I was 35, I was half. I was half. I was halfway to seven. America. lifespan. Oh, then you get in the math, I ain't very good. That's fine. I will screw that up.
Starting point is 00:18:27 That is crazy to think, Si has seen 30% of this. And arguably, like, the biggest changes. Mm-hmm. 30%. Side, do you remember when they invented cars? Yeah. They already had them.
Starting point is 00:18:39 Ford. Were you friends with Henry? Henry Ford. We called him, Hank. And it was a Model T. That is actually wild. What? Did I know that?
Starting point is 00:18:50 No. We should get AI. A third of America, size lived through it. So all the times, like, we've had, like, the industrial revolution, the technology.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Hey, that's why you all, this is for all the yuxes. Uh-huh. If you know old people like me, you used to learn to spend time with you and let me give you some jewels that I know about. Exactly. I do it twice a week.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Even better, I get paid to do it. Don't upstairs. But that's awesome. Why, we love me. Heck, yeah. How funny would it. be so you know like those videos have been viral it's like what was your dad like in the 90s or
Starting point is 00:19:25 whatever and it like goes back how funny it would be the AI sigh and like in all the industrial revolution all the wars and it just like throws sign to a mix of that time period and so i was like yeah i was around during this time i i asked my mother stuff like that yeah because my mom was a riveter on a b 52 bomber mm-hmm rosy this is a lady that when they're Her husband joined the war, World War II, joined the Navy. She left Louisiana, and every time she'd get on a bus, she'd grab a sailor or a Marine or a flight in the Air Force, somebody that was in a uniform and telling, hey, you're my husband until I get off the next station and went to California to be with my father. Where does she rivet and where Memphis?
Starting point is 00:20:20 Is that right? No, it was in California somewhere. That's where they were riveting them. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, because she went up there to be with him. You know, they had just been married, and I think they had Jimmy and Frank, one child. He left him with her brother.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I said, and when her mother said, where are you going? I'm going to California. Do you think that's where you got your love of riveting duck calls, reads? Do you what? Do you think that's where you got your love of riveting duck call reads? No, not really. Did you love it? It could be.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Hey, who knows? It's riveters. It's a family of riveters. Well, hey. Look, you've been wondering what to get dad for Father's Day. Look, no further. Pancho outdoors, the best shirts, I mean, they are so comfortable. And you know, the coolest part about them to me?

They got it all sizes. They don't just make them for grownups. They make them for little boys too. I know because my boys have them. My boys have them. Father's Day is coming and it's the perfect gift for the dad who says he doesn't need anything. Try one and you'll end up ordering more. I guarantee. My sunglasses is always dirty because I'm always wearing a different pair and then boom,

Starting point is 00:22:35 And then he apparently found out and just no shows on you. What are we going to do, man? Who are you talking to? Oh. Hey, start the episode. I know. That was a good intro. It's how it starts.
Starting point is 00:22:46 I didn't know. If I thought. I didn't know. God, when you ever worn anything like what Johnny D's wearing? Ladies and gentlemen of the South and America, the world is looking at us for soccer, and we're going to beat their butts. No, we're not, but I hope we do. Sorry, I got excited.
Starting point is 00:23:05 World Cup. Right? It kicks off. World Cup is here. I need to go watch Ted Lassau again. It's the semi-quincentennial of America. Say it. Say it.
Starting point is 00:23:15 We're about to be 250. 250. 250. It's our semi-Quincentennial. away too 50. I did too. There you go. Not anymore.
Starting point is 00:23:25 I'm headed back that direction. I might have to get with you on a plan for all this inflammation. I got going on when I put this soccer trip. Hey, let me tell you. Yeah. Sigh is not here, y'all. He didn't, but I just think he's asleep, which is. He is asleep.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Good for him, man. Did we ever confirm where he is, Hunter? He's over. Yeah, he's hold. Just sitting there. Yeah. It's laughing at us. Just sitting there.
Starting point is 00:23:48 He's saying, what are them bars? No, I tell you, well, what he's doing he got that white t-shirt on with 17 stains he's sitting there watching fox news getting pissed off that so that's what he's doing right now he's not watching fox he's watching all right can we talk about it since he's not here what i love this great country clearly look at my wardrobe uh-huh i like our soccer team i like our basketball team i love our air conditioning i love everything about it special what that wardrobe oh yeah I had these shoes, but I got me some new,
Starting point is 00:24:24 one of those shoe laces to. I almost bought a USA team shirt at Academy. You should have. They're hosting, you know, like in Houston, so Academy's like helping all them people out. They did, I saw they did like a soccer clinic with. You've never heard of them. Messy?
Starting point is 00:24:40 Rumor has it. Messy. Is that right? Was in Buckees in Alabama today? Eating a brisket sandwich. I would pay money to see a photo. I don't know if it really happened or not. He chose why.
Starting point is 00:24:50 wisely. Yeah. As long as he got sliced and not chopped. Oh, yeah. Excellent point. Anyway. And put some of that sauce on it. I think we need to do something as a group for our dear leader.
Starting point is 00:25:02 And we need to take his dish off the top of his house and throw it as far as we possibly can and break it. Because he needs to stop watching the news. Who, sir? Yeah. Yeah, he just shows up angry all the time. I can't believe he ain't watching. This must be recently because he used to. he used to watch that LPB all time.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Yeah, I don't think he's got public broadcasting. No, he's exclusively on the news. And the news is there to just make you mad. No matter what side of the table you're on, they're going to get you enthralled by how crazy the other side is. Yeah. And then you're just going to be upset. Just tell me the news.
Starting point is 00:25:42 You ain't got to spin it? Both sides spin it. Both sides spin it. It just tears me up. Why act like the other side? there you go but do you think you think we should take size dish and throw it
Starting point is 00:25:55 I think the man's approaching 80 years old so he's earned to have whatever he wants to have I think y'all to have two dishes he's just he used to be a lot chippier when he'd walk in here now he did not what y'all don't see when we record this
Starting point is 00:26:10 podcast is the first 12 minutes where we let him vent about whatever has got stuck in his crawl He gets all riled up to it. He just gets right here, right, right, right. And I'm just like, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, yeah, I'm good. And then he gets happy.
Starting point is 00:26:26 Yeah, we're his sounding board. I just think the news is bad. Yeah, it's not good. It's, I mean, none of it. That's because controversy sales. So it all, it's all controversy. But see, what's crazy is it's only selling now to a part of the population because the rest of us have figured out just don't watch that mess.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Yeah. Well, here's what's crazy. Last night when they hit the NBA finals, Donald Trump was there. Yeah. I watched a clip of everybody booing Donald Trump at the NBA finals.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Yeah. Two seconds later, I saw a clip of everybody chanting USA because Donald Trump was at the NBA finals. And I'm like, I can't, which one was it? Yeah, both.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Both? But why am I seeing one and not? And it's crazy. Yeah, the Spurs fans were chanting USA and the Knicks fans were the ones booed. Most likely. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:27:15 I've never met a Knicks fan in person, so it's hard to say. I'm just glad. To me, it's cool that the Knicks are back because they were a team of our childhood and then they just went away. Like, you forget that they even played basketball. I didn't even know they were still a team.
Starting point is 00:27:31 I thought they moved to Las Vegas. Fishing's dangerous. What? Fishin's dangerous. What did you do? Look at my hands. I'm talking about nick and stuff. He's caught so many fish. Look. His hands are.
Starting point is 00:27:46 No. fishing ain't dangerous, catching his. Those fens all in my hand where they just must her up and pop out. Why don't you just grab them by the mouth? Like I ain't by... I do.
Starting point is 00:27:58 But when they fall on top of your feet and stuff. By the way, I'm going to post a clip of Gobbin's feet on my social media. It's going to go wide. You're going to need to see it. You would not be able to appreciate it from this distance of what this camera is from his feet.
Starting point is 00:28:14 His feet are insane. It's impressive. But do you, yeah, you just don't stay inside anymore, huh? No. You're outside pretty much every day. I fish every day except for Sunday. Every other Saturday till the fall, then Miss Paula gets in that deer stand, so fishing's out. And to that, I say, God bless America.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Only place in the world you can do that. What? Just fish every day. Oh, that's my job now. That's what I'm talking about. That's where you can make a living. It's a country you're, you can make a living. It's a country you can make a living fishing every day if you want to.
Starting point is 00:28:49 That's not commercial fishing. It's not running nets and none of that stuff. Do you imagine that German fella that's enthralled by Chili's looking at us right now, wondering how we're doing what we do? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Them feet are wild. Great.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Hot ones' feet. He kind of like, you went and got a pedicure recently, didn't you? Yesterday. Yeah. I noticed all them toes were squared, man. Every one of them squared off. That woman was rubbing. She said spray tan?
Starting point is 00:29:19 No. Oh spray tan. She thought you spray tan over your flip socks? She was rubbing my foot there trying to wipe it off. Well, in her defense, it does not look real, which is why I videoed them. Your feet are, your feet are. That is from a, I mean, when. Now, when you get that close to them, they look a little gross.
Starting point is 00:29:43 I hate people. Put some socks on, please. Is that a bruise? He just said, is that a bruise? I don't know. Did you kick some? Well, I dropped the fish on, he slipped under my head. How big was the fish to bruise you?
Starting point is 00:29:59 Two pounders. Hmm. Yeah, leave them down there. They look way more impressive down there. You got them up by me. I ain't like that too much. Nobody likes that, Martin. Nobody wants another man's feet next to him.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Well, I just waited in the lake. I clean. There's a whole, there's a whole website. dedicated to people wanting feet around them, buddy. No. I don't, hey. And the words of Hunter, you got to match your freak. Of all the sin.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Remember that one, Hunter? Of all the sinful temptations there are in life, a foot website doesn't even go on my radar. If anybody tells you I was on the dark web looking at feet picks, let me tell you something, they got the wrong fella. Unless it was like. I don't like my own. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:41 One of my best friend's wife paid for a cruise trip doing that. Looking on her feet? Looking at people's feet. Yeah, she took photos of her feet and got paid. She was like, the weirdos won it. And she got to go have a buffet on the water. Yeah. For a week.
Starting point is 00:30:59 She's like, I wasn't naked or anything, so it seemed okay. Would she have sock some? That's wild. Is she like, holy in America? No, unfortunately, I think that goes world. I think that goes worldwide. I think that came from England. They want you to do weird stuff.
Starting point is 00:31:19 They want you, like, dip your toes and ketchup and all that. Or, like, write their name. Yawin, do you not want to fish so much? I think I got you a side gig. I'd rather be broke living under a bridge. Than selling your feet? Then looking at feet. Oh, yeah, you ain't got to look at them.
Starting point is 00:31:40 I think the selling is the side of that market you want to be. What about hands? What's wrong with looking at somebody's hands? Of course, mine's all beat up. Galvin, being this close to you seeing your hands and your feet. Ain't nobody paying for that, brother. No, there's somebody who's that, that is, but I think your feet are in better shape than your hands, friend.
Starting point is 00:32:02 I would pay those people to put on socks and never show their feet again. It don't matter because you paid them. You say where we're out here? This is an evil industry. That's kind of crazy. There's a Bible verse about this. About feet? No, inventing ways of just.
Starting point is 00:32:18 doing. Oh, yeah. They invented. Romans won. Yeah, that's disturbing. That's on the internet. That's sad. Yeah, it is. I thought it was fake. I thought when people were making those jokes, like, there's no way this is, no, it's real. It's real.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Oh, I believe it. Every once in a while, like, I think I'm one of the weirdest human beings in the world, and then I actually turns out, like, I'm just a normal person. Yep, normal. y'all have been with us for a long time you've been watching this podcast for a while if you have you know about the daily health drink known as ag1 and look we're not fitness gurus we're not fitness experts we're just regular guys trying to figure out how to stay healthy and sometimes the quick and easiest way is ag1 philip's got a travel pack right now going to hit him with one he's got
Starting point is 00:33:12 a water bottle he'll probably be done with it by the time this adds over because ag1 is that simple AG1 is a daily health drink with a multivitamin, pre and probiotics, superfoods and antioxidants, and just one scoop in eight ounces of water will do you. Or one pack. One pack. That's the travel pack. And it's next gen formula right there in that little travel pack has over 75 ingredients. Plus, it's backed by four clinical trials and is clinically shown to support gut health,
Starting point is 00:33:41 fill nutrient gaps, and improve key nutrient levels within just three months. Look, life gets busy, but AG1 helps you keep high quality nutrition consistent every day. One of my favorite flavors, Phil's about to drink it right now. It's the berry. It's really good. No, it's very good. It's very good. It is very good.
Starting point is 00:34:02 So visit drinkag1.com slash to get a free morning person hat and free AG1 flavor sampler in your welcome kit with your first AG1 subscription. That's an $82 value. That's drinkag1.com slash. We was wondering about who we thought was normal. We're normal. We're normal. I think that's it. We're the normal ones.
Starting point is 00:34:28 We're the normal ones. Are we? Yeah. Sir, what you've told me in the last five minutes. Yeah. It means we're very normal. I like, I pooped in the wood yesterday. It's more normal.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Did you take a picture of it? No. Normal. But it was impressive. Picture? It was, I did not. Normal. Then you're normal.
Starting point is 00:34:50 It gets weird when you start taking pictures. But if somebody stumbles across that, they're going to be like that cat was going to be buying, Jack. They're going to think. Very normal. Yeah. They said, whoof, he had to get rid of that. He was fixing a really big bag.
Starting point is 00:35:07 I was just about to back my boat in, too. Really? I said, no, I can't go fishing like this. That's a terrible thing. I would have went in the water. Or just in the woods. woods. Really?
Starting point is 00:35:18 Yeah. You prefer woods over water. To poop? Yeah. Mm-hmm. Weird. Yeah. I'm a water man.
Starting point is 00:35:25 Mm-mm. Seems cleaner. Yeah. Yeah, but you can't get away from. That's what I'm talking about. Every time you, you move, it comes to you. It's like you got, it's like you got a leash on it. You're like, get away from me, bro.
Starting point is 00:35:40 I guess if you got downwind enough and there was enough wave action, maybe, I don't know. I just, but it's a lot easier. Just go. little current. It's going to poop in the woods, man. Yeah. Get rid of it. Get out of it.
Starting point is 00:35:51 And that's what makes us normal. Yeah. Like, but if that farmer sees that working as corn crop because it was right next to, he's going to be like, you didn't even do that on your own property. Oh, why? No. It's pooping on a farmer's corn?
Starting point is 00:36:03 No, not on the corn. Next adjacent, corn adjacent in the woods. Yeah. I had to go. Where do you think he wiped? Dude wipes. Thank you. Mint chill.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Get that cooling sensation. I don't know what we're doing here. This is nutty. No, we are normally. Stay away from them straight menthol dude wipes, though. That is not okay. Burn. There are several.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Cigarettes. No. Whipes. There's, it says, menthol? It says it will make you tingle and they hit the nail on the head. There's lots of videos on TikTok on people just like me that had bought this. Because I thought maybe I was the only one.
Starting point is 00:36:46 uh-uh no it should have come with a very much stronger warning label because that's not that area is not supposed to feel like that no chance but i guess that same thing side does when he put ben gay on his hemorrhoids i don't know it's it's not bengay isn't it bengs vaporub all menthol time all heavy menthol components and he didn't even smoke menthols which is the craziest part. Yeah, no. Loves menthol.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Don't want to breathe it in. Heaven forbid we smoke it. Yeah, put that on the other end of you. You know. What was the last time you ran? I ran the other day. I sure did. What'd you do?
Starting point is 00:37:30 What'd you do? You know, I'm in that arm slinging club where you walk. And I run up the hill. There you go. Oh, yeah, walk the flats running a hill. You're just out there running for exercise? Yeah. You know, the personal growth that has happened in this podcast over the years.
Starting point is 00:37:48 I guarantee you. I might have come out there and jog with you, Godwin. Oh, yeah. I guarantee you. You do it at Roselow? Up here, yeah. Yeah, Roselon. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Four rounds. There you go. Four rounds. Yeah, I'll just walk through the whole cemetery? No, we cut through Bromley's. Then we come down there right by the pond. Bromley's still alive for those. That's just a neighbor.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Yeah. And we go up to hill, and then we make four loops. And on the fourth loop, then you go down by the crosses and make another loop. and then you go out. That's three miles. Almost right at four miles. There you go. There's a lot of people that walk in cemeteries.
Starting point is 00:38:23 They do. It would be really cool if Jesus were to come back right when you were walking there. Unless you got left behind. Running. Unless all the dead rose and you're standing there saying, oh, oh. Trial from tribulations are here. Yeah. That would be tough.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Talking about the dead, did you hear the corner died? Uh-uh. He's still going to work. I know the corner. You scared me. Our corner? Yeah. I didn't say our.
Starting point is 00:38:53 He's my buddy. I didn't say. It's a guy that got us through COVID. In general. Yeah. He's a guy that came out here and swept that old boy up off a train tracks that day. Oh, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Well, I mean, that's what his term, not mine. That's got to be a better way to say that. Anyway, if you're... I think when man meets train... There's only one. Yeah, the bigness of it. I think you're left with a broom and a mop, and that's about it. But have you seen the Europeans are descending upon our country?
Starting point is 00:39:19 Oh, that's good. It's phenomenal. I know they love us. Well, no, but they're learning our culture and our ways. They're about to all go back to Europe. Yeah, that's what's about to have. There's one particular guy. He had Waffle House at 1 a.m.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Went to Taco Bell at lunch and then headed on over to the Chili's Bar and Grill for dinner. And he's from Germany and he's having, I think he may stay. I think he was like, this is. what living's all about. If anybody from Scotland comes over here, they'll stay. I don't, I don't. If them poor rascals that ever, yeah, Scotland, all that area that think they know what sausage
Starting point is 00:39:56 and stuff in a casing is, if they ever end up down south and figure out what Budan is and taste it. They're never leaving. And those people, hey, if you're near, not, near me, there'll be a lot. I was going to say, if you're here from a foreign country, but you're not listening to us.
Starting point is 00:40:13 That's not true. Well. We have a few. Andrew, our friend Andrew that's been in here, just had a baby. Annie wore a honeyhole hat in the maternity photos. Andrew checks out. I'm saying most soccer fans aren't listening. Ireland. Ireland.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Yeah. But if you do, there's a best stop. Oh, man. Now in Houston, which is a host city. So if you're in the United States and your team is in Houston and you're going to the game, look up a place. I'm sure you don't speak a lot of English. Our language is kind of complicated. Look up a place called the best stop and go get you some Budin and take it home with you.
Starting point is 00:40:55 It is the exact opposite of a gar. That is so good. But the German guy who's going viral for going to Chili's and having his mind blown, he posted his map. He's headed to Houston from Chattanooga. Do we get to like drop pins on places he should try? He asked us to. Yes.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Okay. So when he gets to enter. state 10. Yeah. He needs to get used to getting off the interstate because there's a, there's a whole corridor right there. The route he's taken is all the way to moat. No,
Starting point is 00:41:25 it's not mobile. Where is that? Ascagoula or something. Is he driving out of Lexi? He's going to New Orleans, hooking a, I-10 to. Buddy, that next 150 miles could change your life. Oh, yeah. That is one fine food corridor right there, buddy.
Starting point is 00:41:40 You'll probably move in down there. He should. He's going to end up leaving here looking like a left. link a buddand. Woo, yeah. Just all swole out the same size uniform. He's going to have to buy two airplanes seats. Wait, he literally just posted that he has made it to Alabama.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Alabama got some good stuff. If you go to Clanton, Alabama, I understand. I just saw it. They still have a shonies. Overnight there, wake up, have your breakfast buffet. There you go. I just, I cannot wait for these Europeans to experience Buckees. I can't wait for, because that's coming.
Starting point is 00:42:11 I can't wait for these Europeans to experience ice. Oh yeah They won't give you eyes over Nope We got ice machines y'all Wait And meanwhile the England team's in Florida And they're all about to
Starting point is 00:42:24 They're all They're about to just ship them back Well they're about to have some really good fishing chips No they're not because they can't England can't function if it gets above 75 degrees Well bless their heart Have you ever seen like their extreme heat warnings? Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:37 Then you got to do the math to get it into Fahrenheit It's lame yeah They're lame They can't handle the heat Me and Galvin went over for Duck Dynasty in August, and we were buying jackets. I'd have to be. And they were running around in shorts and T-shirts, and I'm like, what in the world? Yeah, well, they used to it.
Starting point is 00:42:57 Well, and we got used to it by the end of it, but in the first couple of days was cold. We slid up in the, we slid up my first hotel. It'd be 45. And we were like, where's an air conditioner? Because you just need to run an air conditioner to, like, pull the humidity out of a room. And the people at the hotel were like, Yeah, we ain't got to him. No.
Starting point is 00:43:15 No air conditioning. Open the window. Oh, my window. Literally last month, the UK issued a heat wave warning to its citizens. Temperatures reached 30. 30. Degrees Celsius. I don't even know what that is.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Multiply that by nine-fifths, right? Nine-fifs. That's only 86 degrees. Yeah, you multiply by like nine-fifths plus. Only? It's 86 when we get up. That's what the... Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:45 You double what in that, huh? She said double it and I had 26. I remember why I was thinking nine-fifths was involved in that equation. I had 25th. It's been so long since I've been in school. I don't do school. I'm out. I'm recovered.
Starting point is 00:43:59 I'm out. Anyway, welcome to our country. Others, and we will play your sport with you and we cannot wait to watch. But they can't comprehend the fact that all my friends are coming over to my house Friday to watch the United States play Paraguay and soccer. You know what we're going to do, Martin? Watch Paraguay. No.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Are you getting the hot dog roaster out? Of course I am. This is America, son. I'm coming. I don't even care who wins. What is that? You do care who wins. I can't have the bonds, though.
Starting point is 00:44:26 That's fine. Hey, that's like our old 30 wieners, man. I can eat the winners. Come home. Cheese. 8 o'clock, we're playing Paraguay. I'll be watching. Now, if his wife get in there and slap together a pizza,
Starting point is 00:44:38 you probably just want to leave because. No, you can eat there. Your five folks at Ph.D. are not going to. Sourdough does not cause inflammation. Allison's not working right now because it's summertime. It causes bloating. She's back, oh, it does it.
Starting point is 00:44:51 It causes happiness. It makes that belly bloat. It causes joy. It does cause that. But she's back to. She's back to Betty Holmaker? Oh, yeah, good for her, man. It's been phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Man, I feel so much better since I've been on this Ph.D. You look better, too, friend. That's dumb. Slim and trim. Got off my sugar medicine. more energy. It's just amazing the difference. Most weight loss plans have one thing in common.
Starting point is 00:45:23 They quit working eventually, and when that happens, usually the weight comes right back. But Ph.D. weight loss is different. I'm 17 weeks in. I'm down 35 pounds. Whoa. Let me tell you. There's so much helpful stuff on their website that you can read.
Starting point is 00:45:39 It's just great. And you've got a coach to talk to you, which is very good. There you go. Look, work for you before doesn't always work again because your body fights weight loss every step of the way when it's under stress. And look, GOP1 drugs can work as a quick fix, but they don't always take care of what's causing the problem in the first place. Ph.D. Weight loss works with you to develop a plan that works with your body and focuses on restoring metabolism for good. So your body stops fighting you. The goal isn't just to lose weight. It's to never have to start over again. right now call Ph.D. Weight loss and mention Godwin. There you go. You'll get two free weeks in the program and they'll pay for your food.
Starting point is 00:46:18 That's a $1,500 value completely free. Call 864-644-1900 and say, Godwin. Again, that's 864-644-4-1900 or visit my PhDwetloss.com. I still could eat 18 bacon pies with a big old slob ice cream. big old ice cold glass of milk so that one ain't one away all you're craving it's just mama made so good a pecan pie's i'm gonna say it i'm not a pecan pie guy oh well that's not my fault i know it's good never but i don't like nuts that much and i'm allergic to cashews are you really cashier ain't a nut it's a freak oh wow what it's probably on that list of stuff that he could have.
Starting point is 00:47:13 Yeah, I mean, if anybody knows. They probably put it in a weird fruit. It's probably, what, is it considered a tree nuts? A tree nuts are actually not nuts. They're fruit. I don't. Oh, they're technically neither. What are they?
Starting point is 00:47:25 They're seeds. That's what I said. Oh, so there you go. Called a cashew apple. What? Cachos are great, though. They really are. They're so good.
Starting point is 00:47:35 If I eat them, I'm toast. I'm at the doctor. You do swallow up. We get all red stuff, and all splotchy. Will you eat something for the camera? for this podcast? Maybe. Why not?
Starting point is 00:47:45 Numbers start to tank. And size's not here. You want to jazz it up. I'm just going to start throwing your handbook. I'm just going to start throwing cashews at you. One time in life I was, I was hungry, and there was a bowl of cashews, and I knew it. But they were so good. And I just said, you know what?
Starting point is 00:48:03 We're going to deal with the repercussions of this later. And I mean, I swelled up. I swell up and I just turn all red and itchy. My whole body. That's crazy. Why does that happen? Why do my calves hitch because I eat cashews? I don't recollect being allergic to nothing.
Starting point is 00:48:19 I wasn't until a few weeks ago when I found out I'm now allergic to poison ivy or whatever. Remember I used to be growth I had on my arm? I was a kid I was, but now I'm not. I'm the opposite. Like the older I get, the more I'm like getting weird allergies to stuff now. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe it's maybe it's P.
Starting point is 00:48:42 Maybe losing all that weight is getting ready. You're going to be able to climb trees, hang tree. I'm already climbing trees. I ain't going to have to worry about poison ivy or none of that no more, huh? Nope. There you go. Nope. So what's important?
Starting point is 00:48:58 World Cup is soccer. Everybody's here. Like, I watch the World Cup because it's the biggest sporting event in the world. Exactly. I watch all championships because why not? I mean, you want to watch the championships. like I've watched the NBA finals now, which really feels rigged.
Starting point is 00:49:15 I don't think so. Man, the way those games in, feel like there's a script. I'm not saying there is. I'm not one of those conspiracy fellas, but it just seems like this long string of things that has to happen continues to happen.
Starting point is 00:49:30 And I don't, I don't like it. But, you know, you think Donald Trump went to the NBA finals to help rig it? No. I do. I'm going to go to. down that road.
Starting point is 00:49:41 I like it. Oh, okay. I just decided this in this moment. The, uh, no, but I don't know. It's weird. The college world series starts this weekend, too. I don't watch basketball. I played it one time and everybody run down to the other end and I just waited on
Starting point is 00:50:01 them to come back because I went down there with them and then they took off. I'm saying, I ain't running all this. I just sat there waiting for them to come back. Me and Gobbin were the king. Then they put me on the bank. You would not like soccer. Yeah, that's a lot of running. Yeah, but they go down there.
Starting point is 00:50:18 They down there a while. Sometimes. They don't. Over here and then back over here and then back over there. I mean, it's just you run down there and they already hit it to the other side. Yeah, soccer's one. I don't really understand. I'd play on that.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Head lasso was my favorite version of soccer. How do you not understand soccer? Don't use your hands. I understand that. I know, but who's doing it. and what? But it's like, it's always like one team just wants to play defense the whole time and then just counter like fast break.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Yeah. And then, but one team, they're like always on one half of the field the whole time. And it just. Strategiery. Yeah, I mean, I just don't get it. I'm more of, uh. How come everybody just don't go for the ball? Like one nothing.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Nah, bro. Let's make this like 15 to 14. Like everybody kicking goals and storing. No, because one nothing's exciting. Is it? It's right at the end. Oh, yeah. But I guess in the world, can they tie in the World Cup?
Starting point is 00:51:10 in the group stage they can. Okay. So this is where soccer officially has to declare a winner, though. Yeah, we ain't fine all the way. Okay. After the first three games, then it's like you win or you go home. Okay. All his nephew plays soccer.
Starting point is 00:51:26 We've been going to a couple of games. I can't figure it out. He's just trying to put the ball in the net. Where does he play? Is he in Neville? Does he kick or does he stay in there? No, he kicks it. I just wonder if he's a ball.
Starting point is 00:51:40 goalie or not. I'm out. No, I ain't to go. That's the way you asked me. It was the goalie? Well, I was trying to dumb it down for the man that said he didn't understand. Well, I don't know. Does he use his hands? No.
Starting point is 00:51:52 He can't use it. He's a kicker. Yeah. Okay. So he's a ball kicker. There you go. I'm just saying. But anyway, look, folks, we know there's a lot of y'all listening.
