I i mean not that any of it would be great i'm just saying like just just he really knew better you know yeah i guess i've never thought about how fucking old he was but my mom was 36 when she got pregnant with me okay and that's her older brother oh hell so fucking old just too old to be doing weird shit old to be doing that

yeah that is so terrible i'm sorry that you old to be doing that. Yeah. That is so terrible. I'm sorry that you had to go through that. Yeah. Did you ever tell your parents? I did eventually. And what happened? Oh, shit. I have the message from my dad.

That's around the time that I blocked them. But they were like, that happened so long ago. Why would you bring that up now? OK, so you never told them as a child? No. You held that in? No. I knew there were bits and pieces, like this poignant memory from when I was five or six,

hiding my bloody panties in the laundry. Yes, because I knew my mom would be mad at me. Honey. But she's the one who sorts the laundry, does the laundry, so she found them, me she's like what is this and you're a baby though how old were you five or six and she didn't question why you had bloody panties no she was like why did you put these in here to to get nasty and turn black or whatever she's like why didn't you tell me you made this mess and I was just that's the point at which I think I shut it off and from that point on it was happening to somebody else

oh my god that made me want to cry like that is I'm sorry it makes me mad now when I think about it I'm so sorry I couldn't even imagine going through that at such a young age and just not having anybody to turn to, to have to, like, internalize that. so moving on from that horrific situation, you said that you shut it off and that you became a different person then. So was it just kind of like selective memory? You just didn't want to remember it anymore. And you just kind of like pretended you were somebody else. Yeah, definitely. And it helped

going to school I started school in k-5 kindergarten and then you have first grade and that's when the abuse stopped so it was very easy to just hurdle into friendship at school school work I loved school like I excelled in school saving grace hell yeah why do you think the abuse finally stopped oh i think i aged out of the range that he liked thank god and i always wonder because that's my mom's older brother did that happen to her and that's why she turned a blind eye but i mean i just can't imagine seeing a little girl with bloody panties and not asking why. You know, like you had as an adult now, you would have to know something crazy is going on. And that just you deserve to be protected.

So moving along from school, take me into like high school and stuff like that. What was high school like for you? I was so bad in high school. I was a bad girl. Yeah. It was fun and I was hell on wheels and somehow through all of that I kept good grades because that was important to me but yeah so for example in high school like I was seeing this these memes lately like us in some drug dealer's house at 2 a.m our parents think we're at a sleepover my parents knew where I was at but I was still out riding around

you know yeah popping enough muscle relaxers to my tongue to loll out of my head. When did you start, when did drugs enter your life? I think drugs were never that big a part of my life. Okay. I think that was something in school that I was doing to be cool. Right. And if I knew the right drugs to get and maybe I would have had a better time with it. You said your parents were drug addicts? On and off. On and off. Okay. So seeing them be addicts was that kind of like, you didn't want to become them type situation? I didn't want to become them. And at the same time, they made it very easy to just, they left alcohol, drugs laying out. easy to just they left alcohol drugs laying out it was there wow did you ever experiment with any of this stuff yeah oh yeah how old were you when you first started experimenting 10 to maybe 11 when I was like let's try all the liquor in the liquor cabinet how did that go

would you end up getting drunk Oh my gosh. And did your parents know and they just didn't care? I don't know if they ever knew or if they ever cared. When was the first time you tried drugs? Probably shortly after that, just marijuana. Yeah. When did you start doing like the pills and the hard stuff? I never did anything harder than a couple of painkillers and muscle relaxers because that's all my parents had laying around at that point when I was 14 and they were really getting out of it. My dad had gotten a better job and we'd actually bought a new house and yeah. Crazy. So moving on, when, what, what take me on the journey? So from that,

I was basically at 14. I was like, okay, I can, as long, as soon as I can make money enough on my own to support myself, I'm out of here. And so as soon as I could work, I got a job and that was really hard. Where were you working at? The fucking pizza hut. Oh, that's all right. My first job was fat burger.

Yeah. Hell yeah. Out here. Fat burger on the East side of Vegas. Shout out fat burger yeah hell yeah out here fat burger on the east side of vegas shout out fat burger hell yeah so but i went to this christian private school and all the kids that i went to school with they didn't have to work so i'm at the pizza hut after school all day and i'm like shit and then i was like hey actually i could date a man and he'll pay for everything you just had this thought one day or did you see it somewhere or what like in spite of this hey, actually, I could date a man and he'll pay for everything.

Okay. In this shitty little apartment, and I finally got away from that abusive man. Well, let's not skip over it. You like to skip over your trauma really fast, and I'm like, no, let's talk about it. It never happened. So you left Mississippi and somehow ended up in Denver with some abusive prick yes take me on that journey oh well well I had left Mississippi with the guy I was dating when I graduated high school as soon as I turned 18 I moved out and finished up high school from his house and then he was

doing this nuclear power outage thing I don't know if you know guys travel around the U. Oh. And then he was doing this nuclear power outage thing. I don't know if you know guys travel around the U.S. And they stay in cities for six weeks at a time. So I was his little hotel bunny for a while. And he'd pay for everything. But he was so abusive because he was tired all the time. 14-hour shifts. Yeah.

There's no excuse for it. Still, yeah. 14 hour shifts yeah there's no excuse for it but still yeah so i started dating his co-worker because i didn't have enough money to get home right yes and i was just like oh my god i just need a break i need a roommate situation so i can get a little job make some money go do something else fell in love with that guy god you know, the love bomb type until you. And then they've got you where they want you. Yeah. And then we, he almost killed me once.

And I would never call the cops on him, no matter what he did to me. But he choked me out so bad one night. I just wouldn't get up. And he thought he killed me, so he called the cops and was like i killed my girlfriend accidentally oh my god yes we were in south carolina at the time and they have a state law where they did at this time in 2014 about they prosecute for domestic violence it doesn't matter if you press charges or not that's how vegas is so he lost his job over this bullshit his really nice job he lost his really nice car and i got the brunt of it isn't that amazing yeah and it's all my relationships it's like it's your fault that my life is fucked up but i didn't hurt you i didn't do anything yeah it's it's just wild to me how men think yeah so so I

was stuck with that man for how long oh god it went on two and a half years oh my goodness yeah which a blip compared to a lot of people's story don't minimize your traumas thank you so we're down and out. We didn't have anything to do. Like his mom wouldn't put up with us. No one would put up with our asses. And we would fight like cats and dogs all the time. But the sex was probably amazing, right?

God, yes. My husband's sitting around outside. But God, yes. No, he knows. No, that's how fucking is relationships are and it's so hard to get unattached from that sex and like it's almost like you're willing to put up with getting beat up just to have that oxytocin that you get from that exactly exchange that energy that one person is enough to delude your whole fucking wild man that's how abusive relationships

in years and years so we went out there and tried to act the nice couple and it was just a shitty situation all around we were living in their unfinished basement and like paying like the whole mortgage and oh my gosh. Yeah. I was like, aunt and uncle just took advantage of a situation. Absolutely. Absolutely. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Yeah.

From the tree branches. Goodness. And, and just so much fucked up shit while we were there with them. It was just everything all at once. It wasn't any final hurrah. I was just finally came to my senses and I was like, I'm too young to deal with this. I'm too smart.

that is horrific so i got on the internet so you went back to the abusive ex and he just fucking was. Well, he picked me up and he dropped me off at the apartment that he had. We'd got together, but he had just dumped me at. Right. And I was working for $12 an hour at the shitty gun factory. Midnight shift. Couldn't afford it. Anyway, that night smoked my last eighth of weed while I looked on the internet um for the brothel
