And it's literally like, you're literally fighting a war right now. It's a war. It's literally a war against fast fashion for sure. And the men behind it. And yeah, they'll probably come for me after this, but I'm not afraid. It's like fine. Um, so yeah. Is it that they want control of your brand or they want your entire brand or they want you to just not make anything anymore? Probably want me dead, to be honest. But like, so, yeah, we met up with her dad and he said, listen, I'll take care of it. But you're going to have to like, you know, you can't win in court because they have lawyers that would represent, let's say Starbucks. And I said, okay, these are, you know, this is big, this is big, but it was a lesson to say, you're not like the

little guy you as well. Like they wouldn't be coming for you if it wasn't a big deal. Right. You know, if you weren't right. So, and I heard Starbucks and I said, listen, that's our shit, bitch. That's my fucking culture. I'm from Southern California. Like that is my, you know, that is ours. That's our, our culture. Let's, I said, I don't know what's going to happen. But I said, I know in my heart, we're going to win in the courts of love. Like it's not going to, you know, we're not going to have to fight that way. Always good, always prevails. And that's the lesson is good will always prevail. I didn't know how, but I said, you know, let's just somehow, somehow, some way this is going to like work out like somehow.

And so, um, my best friend, she said, Hey, like we would always go on these trips and we would always have like a drink. Well, when I would drink, when I was, you know, an alcoholic, like we would have like a nasty Nikki, which was like all vodka, Shirley I was you know an alcoholic like we would have like a nasty Nikki which was like all vodka Shirley Temple you know or like we would make our little drinks in Vegas or on all of our trips so we were like hey like let's make a drink a secret drink for ourselves at Starbucks like and just have fun with it and like that's our secret like you know that we have that no one can take away right And so she picked me up to cheer me up and she's like, let's go to Starbucks. You know, that's our shit. Like it cheers you up. Like

it's happiness, you know, drink it every morning. And so we did and we're like, let's make it pink. And so we were like a strawberry acai refresher, replace it with coconut milk. It makes this beautiful baby pink drink yeah my niece drinks those every morning good and so we tried it we're like oh my god this is the cutest thing ever like it's so good like this is so delicious like let's just and she's like you have to share it with everyone you have to show them and I was like girl like my heart is broken we just had everything taken like this is ours let's keep it to ourselves and she's like no like you have to share it with them and so like I posted it and then again that

was just they took it that was the biggest moment in our in our career that could ever happen viralness I just got goosebumps I never knew that this happened it It was the biggest thing. but we were healed because we're like, look how fun our life is. no matter what, like no matter how hard you're suffering, whatever it's, whatever, whatever you're going through that you're fighting, you know, behind the scenes that no one knows about, like just keep fighting and fight it with love.

Like whatever it is, you know, I just love her I love you I just it's so surreal I'm even saying this aloud because I've just it's so freeing I've never ever ever told anybody dude it's therapeutic right it is yeah now it's like you're gonna unleash this like beast because now I won't shut up no please but it's just so beautiful that people really do need that like they need to hear this from you don't give into your bullies like don't if someone's bullying you like who cares it's like david and goliath just literally just love more and you know be like and that was a hard one you know it was really hard to have something you love so much this is my baby you know this is my heart

my soul my everything girl you've been fucking sewing shit in your fucking living room literally like pressing shit scrunchies shirts pasties like every single thing by hand with love and just built this motherfucking empire dude yeah and so like it's an empire you can honestly say that now it's really and you've morphed into makeup now yeah well another thing was when I was not talking and I was you know suffering in my room I just would sing on my Hello Kitty karaoke machine in my garage for happiness that was my therapy and I was like singing to the light and be like please like hopefully the angels would hear me and so I would uh I would always have a birthday party at Bar Sinister every year for you know that's the one time they let pink in the golf club. And so they've always supported me and

always had my party. And so we would throw a big party on stage and out of nowhere, these amazing angels came and they said, Hey, we know your story and we want to like, help you start a makeup company. I dropped to my knees and just started sobbing. Like I felt like it was almost like a vampire, like vendetta. Like it was crazy with like the music going and just like, I was like, how did they like,

you're like, am I on acid right now? What's really happening? And that's the thing. It's like, there's just so many moments where I don't even understand. Like because it's because of you as a human, you're a light,

like you can just feel it here and your energy is just so amazing. And I'm telling you what you put out into the world, you get back tenfold and because you are so loving and because you are so, you know, just consistent, you just have to love like the world, the world needs like more love. Absolutely. Only that's the only thing, know is just just love it more like whatever it is and just in the bullying thing too is like if there's somebody that's after you whether you're 12 years old you know like whatever it is like don't give up don't ever give in and don't let it change you don't become bitter like don't let it change your heart just shine more and just be like listen i'm gonna use that and i'm gonna take it with me but I'm gonna like just just oh like just shine brighter just smile more like

yeah don't give it you're you're truly unstoppable yep I always say don't give into the darkness yes exactly that's beautiful so the makeup line they often they said yeah and it will be all it'll all be mine because like I'm the investor I'm the soul you know I'm the it's all been self-sustained from one dollar from one dollar to every single thing so it's like we've been just behind the scenes and it's you know they're independent like completely independent women working on this for so long just behind the scenes so we've been able to team up and like create these the quality is it's just so luxury it's better than chanel like no offense chanel but no listen i think i think you deserve to say that all

the shit you've been through it is because i you know i would never that's the thing again is that that quality that you when you really love it like i am so particular with everything like with my own makeup like previous to this like it has to be the best your aesthetic is always flawless i'm a capricorn it's like a pro capricorn aquarius really that's why that's great that's why she has drive like that capricorns are insane i'm capricorn rising we are like a pit bull with goals like we can't stop yes um yeah so we just we've the formulas were just so beautiful and we've just been you know behind the scenes just just going for it and growing and going and how's the makeup doing for you um it's amazing and again like through a pandemic launching a makeup line wasn't like exactly what I wanted

but I again I had to do it it wasn't a thing where you know it's like survival you know we have to do we have to do this and we have to do this right now that's we thrived during quarantine well and I had like I don't have health insurance like I have to fucking like you know what I mean like this is someone it's a life like that's the thing also is like people see the internet and they're like oh this is just like a person or not even a it's very dehumanizing you know they're like oh this is like a but beyond a brand and a empire and all that jazz it's like a human being yeah a human being going through a lot and um i feel like the internet desensitizes people to just even being able to see past the likes and the follows and the the you know so it's it's like a it's a double-edged sword.

Like it's fucking amazing for branding and it's great for us. But then like the consumer is like, you know, so caught up on a certain thing that they're looking for. They don't, they don't see the human that's behind it fucking making this machine go. Right. Or, you know, doing whatever it takes to really continue on. So, um, yeah, I had a, during lockdown, I actually had a health scare that I, well, I mean, I've had a heart thing and then I, and like, I don't like to talk about any, like. What's up, guys?

And so I had a situation where I had to get something removed and it was terrifying I was like oh god this is it I'm dying of cancer holy fuck like you know and everybody has their things like we all have health things absolutely but I really didn't have a choice I said I have to launch the makeup today so I can get health care so I was able to do that like that's what I'm saying is like this isn't like customers this is like my best friends saving my actual fucking life absolutely like every single day and again it's like I don't usually talk about it because I'm a human being going through it you know people that you are an inspiration to so it's like even if I'm going through these things behind the scenes, I keep it to myself,

but I just want to like spread love when I can, because I know other people out there are going through things as well. And I'm like, you can heal. Like you're going to be fine. And your, your people need to hear this from you because like I said, you're such an inspiration to people. That's why I started this podcast because I had so many people that would come to me and ask me questions and like wanted to know more. And finally, I just got to a point where I was like, I don't care. I'm going to put it all fucking out there and everybody's going to fucking hear it. And it's like, you know, I always say, if I'm going to tell my story, if somebody is going to tell my story, it's going to be me. Exactly. You know,

so that way you control the narrative. Why I'm here and why I'm here now and why you know we did wait a little bit I feel was like meant to be because I don't think a year ago I could have talked without crying or you know what I mean I almost broke down a couple times when you were talking like I feel the emotion yeah I was not okay I was sick for a really long time and um yeah so through the nervous breakdowns through the hospitalizations through the heart whatever that was you know like literally fluid around my heart like you know like gnarly shit where it's like this is it's it's a wake-up call again and again to be like just you only let you only live once and you really have to do it. But at the

same time, take care of yourself. Like everybody out there, like, please take care of yourselves because, um, you know, like eat what you want and do what you want. And, um, you're beautiful no matter what, like you're going through, uh, pain, chronic pain, all of that. Like I know about all of it. And if you're going through through it just keep going through it and you can really really really overcome and you can heal that's the beautiful part is like I'm healed I'm smiling like my body is whole like I feel good it's just all that it took 10 years of debauchery but like I feel great you know I have like that warm feeling back and so I used to say I could never do this again this couldn't I could

never live through this again and and then I would be like great because you know only I could live through it right that makes me who I am you never realize how strong you are until you have to be exactly and then you're like holy fucking shit I am a badass bitch wow yeah you're like I fucking did that shit whoa um so yeah I lived through it and now I'm like, let's do it again. She's like, who wants to come for me? PTSD. What's that? PTSD who? So what is, what is the future hold for Nikki lipstick? I have, uh, what do you want to do next? I feel like you've done everything you've wanted to fucking do. Well, we just went to another Barbie mansion in Vegas and that was so fun. It was crazy.

My tooth fell out afterwards, but it was all the things. I like it better. Were you really in Vegas unless your tooth fell out? No. It's a pirate life for me. I'm pirate Barbie. But I loved that. I was like, I love that. Like I was like, this is so

free because I feel online too. It's like people are maybe not even the people. Maybe it's me. That's the problem where I put a lot of pressure on myself where I'm like, I'm like, I got one selfie like a year. Like that's it. Cause I'm like, that's the one good one. I get it. Um, but now I'm like, I'm fucking free. Like, I'm like smiling. I want to smile more now that the tooth is gone. I don't know why. Which tooth is it?

It's in the back. It's not a big deal. I was like, I can't even see. Your fucking smile looks amazing. But now I'm like, at least I have some left. Let's show these off. Like, I'm excited. I'm going to smile until they all fall out.

And then when they fall out, I'll still smile. And that's the thing. And that is resilience. It's like for me. Yeah. Beat me up. Whatever you want to do, but I'm going to keep smiling. You're just going to keep coming back. That's how I am too. I don't let any motherfucker put me down. Yeah. And that's why when I found you, I was like, Oh, I'm healed. First of all, you're so strong and you're so fucking funny. And I was like, that's, that's it. That's how I like was or want to be, you know, it's like that loud voice. So it's like you, you liberated me. You allowed, you brought me back.

And that's friends, man. Like friends. I appreciate you so much. Um, I, but friendship is magical. And every time, you know, there's always a friend to be like, Hey, like, you know, we're all going through it. Like, that's why I surround myself with strong women because it's so healing. Oh yeah.

Like I'm, I hate to say it, but I'm, I just don't like dudes. Their energy sucks, you know? And I literally, my whole team is all female and it's like powerful.
