Starting point is 00:00:00 Dave Matthews called in because he thought he was singing at the, at the, one, two, very big. I'm apologizing for dropping that crap all over the riffer. One, two. Chicago, Chicago, Chicago, for a wonderful town. What a wonderful town. Chicago. Chicago. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:00:24 All right. Conradard, hold on. I wrote a song for Connor There we go Ready Dennis of all Yeah My testing
Starting point is 00:00:38 One two One two Okay Who's that Creeping in my window I get a hot flash Whenever the wind blows Nothing to my name
Starting point is 00:00:51 What's up everybody Townie Welcome to another episode episode of Dumb People Town, the music episode. Population, New Population Music. It's music. This is Little Sims. Came out this year. The song is Young. We've got Logic here with us. We've got Matt Price with us. Jonah Ray is in the midst of working on. He's, he is doing like an animation project and he's like just in the studio right now.
Starting point is 00:01:22 So he's in the thick of it, into the thick of it. But as you know, for those who, who have been following this podcast, this particular music episode. At the end of every year, Randy, Matt, Jay, me, Jonah. We all compile our favorite songs that were released
Starting point is 00:01:39 within this past calendar year. So we do a mid-year one where we find songs that we found from this year that were released in other years. These are songs that came out this year. It ends up sort of being a de facto best of 2025 or at least as we like to see it.
Starting point is 00:01:52 It's our Christmas gift to you. It's like wonderful when Price puts together the playlist. It's unbelievable. It's pure magic and we love seeing you guys and we've all been very busy bees so it's really good to see everybody here. Happy Hanukkah fellows.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Thank you, thank you. It's about time, he said that. Merry Christmas. Right, he know, and Merry Christmas to everybody. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Happy holidays. Yes, so much good music this year.
Starting point is 00:02:16 And happy Kwanza. Happy Kwanza, come on. So I'm talking about. To everybody who is what I am talking about. I found great music this year. I collected at various points along the I always collect a bunch at the end of the music. So you're going to do the in music and then you're going to get a song right away, Rand?
Starting point is 00:02:32 Yeah, yeah, it's wrong with that. He's also going to do my song. Yep. I'm just surprised. I love it. I love it. It's really interesting. Super interesting.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Okay. All right, Rand, hit us with your first song. I'm going to hit with the first song. So this one I saw came to me by way. I always loved where these songs come. So give us the origin. So the origin of the song is that it came to me. I was on a ticket.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Almost yelled a pause there, but okay. Pause. Pause. And they, uh, it caught, this one came to me because I was watching a TikTok and I'm like, who is this band? I'm like, it works. This is a way music now comes to us. That's right.
Starting point is 00:03:09 And I started digging into this band a little bit and I kind of like them. They've got this kind of, it's like a return to old rock and roll, this band. And I don't know much about them. I just know their name, R.C. Drive. Do you know R.C. Drive? I thought I were going to say they are led Zeppelin. They're Led Zeppelin. Lead Zeppelin.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Leeds Eplin. Our time our aunt said, you know I don't like that J. Lino. Who's just read it? You think that? You think that? Sorry, R-C-D-R-C-D-R-C-R-C-R-C-R-C-R-C-R-C-R-C-R-C. The song is called Inch-U-N-Up, and I listen to it from like the TikTok came from the second verse on.
Starting point is 00:03:47 So I'm just going to play a little bit of it. I really love this song. The energy is incredible, and it pumps me up in a rock and roll sort of a way. Let's return to rock. Here's R-C-Drive, Inch-N-Up. Wait, is this the song I want to sing? No, that's what I'm going to do the itch. On fire.
Starting point is 00:04:15 The itch. No, I don't want to do the it. I say you got this arm wrestle right now for the first song. Four songs. Is that your three for the year? Nope. Not it. It's actually.
Starting point is 00:04:26 We're keeping this in, right? What are we? No, no. I'm trying to figure out what it is. Can we crank? Nope, it is inching up. Wait, no, it is Louis. Have you heard the song before?
Starting point is 00:04:36 Yes, it is Louis. Louis is the name of the song. I'm sorry. I like pick three of them, but get some volume on this. We are putting it in. Well, your days are getting dry. Allo plan under your eye. Wear your hair just like the moon.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Curse at me and I curse at you. And you know, I don't mind it too. Fuck you, fuck you. Hey. Oh. Okay. 35 minutes just to put his coat on. Old man, love you like a Coca-Cola.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Think I'm going to miss that all smoke of Roma. Right? Like, old school rock and roll. Yeah. But baby, remember, this is our December. I just kind of love them. And it was just them playing. like on a loading dock somewhere it was cold and they're playing and I'm like I love these
Starting point is 00:05:41 kids this is great dive bar right yeah it's three in the afternoon and we're drinking and it's cold outside it's about to get dark because we're probably is the name of the song I'm sorry I fall started yeah right what about the other five songs why don't you leave j logic why yeah I'm not I'll do more songs when you stop when you stop leaving him yeah it's what It's dark as 3 o'clock We live in Buffalo. Are you not going to play the entire catalog right now?
Starting point is 00:06:09 Yeah, I'm going to play the whole catalog. Left out a few. RC drive. Shots fire to Buffalo. Are you going to play the whole RC hard drive? Yeah. I mean, that wasn't no RC COLO.
Starting point is 00:06:19 That felt like real pure coke. Thank you. Royal Crown. Royal Crown. Cola of Chicago. Picking the doggling the doggle. Making my way back to town. I'm going to switch the dongle
Starting point is 00:06:30 to go to my iPhone 13. Make sure your volume is up volume up. Vile more than yours. Firems up. Okay, this is a band. I heard them described as space cowboys. Ooh, what does that mean? They're cowboys in space. Yay! Their band I'd like for a little while, Lord Huron.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Oh, yeah. How about it? How about Lord Huron? It's like they record the, they do the album in one studio and then they record the vocals, three studios over with the microphones not on. Yes, that's exactly. I'm going to play six songs from them right now. Three less than Randy. Oh, wait a minute. But this is, again, yeah, they're like a, you know, folky band, which I'm very Matt Pricy, as you'll hear. Oh, I can't wait. Big fan of the song.
Starting point is 00:07:17 It's called Nothing I Need off their album, Cosmic Selector, Volume 1. Zeppelin. There's a very Zeppelin. Speaking of. Oh, shoot, this is Les Eppelin. Sorry, hold on. Oh, come on. Three more songs.
Starting point is 00:07:39 Oh, I got it right. I got it right. I fell asleep and when I woke up. I was old. I said goodbye to my youth and my bloodline cold. I like that he's on the mic more now. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Yes. Yes. Space Velvet. There it is. It's great. Yeah, I love this song. So it takes you to another place. I think so. I think, I mean, I think, you know, listen, folks, not to get sad right away. No. But I think we've all needed it this year to go to another place. And good music transport you. I always leave that. This is a transformative song. For me, very meditative, I think, in a lot of ways. Lord Huron, I'm a fan. Great. Big fan. That was a nice sunset beers with the boys.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Yeah. Mine's 3 p.m. Buffalo hanging out with Rick James. All four of yours. His is like go out of the bar and get that and get in your convertible. I'm old school. Yeah. There we go. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Logic. Take us away. Okay. So this one was one of my best swipe-ups of the year through IG. Swipe-up. My IG knows me very well. It sends me. the alga bike stuff or
Starting point is 00:09:05 Japan stuff oh my Japan thanks to Randy my entire feed is just cool restaurants in Japan it's all cool shit they're doing Japan I love you guys to me and I was like once you send it to one person it's like they know what you want and once I started watching it I started to get fed other stuff
Starting point is 00:09:23 you were on point on so much of it dude thank you so remember when I had to pick up sis your wife from the airport that one time you guys went to town and then the Michigan trip which he came back without you. Heavy traffic, this all comes on, and it felt like the
Starting point is 00:09:39 cars just melted out of it. Great. Let's hear it. Who is it? This is a artist named Waterbaby, and this track is called A Miss. Hopefully the volume treats me nice. Oh, yeah. I'll goodbye Like this
Starting point is 00:10:07 A smile from a distance How many times can I walk out the door And think about things I don't think about no more And how many girls I've been here before I'm making a promise I've broken before
Starting point is 00:10:27 How many nights How many seas How many dreams How many dreams? So good. You know, all those screens are coming in. I love this. How can you miss something that has never been.
Starting point is 00:10:50 I wonder I can miss a praise that I'll never see me. So far here. yeah yeah what traffic oh what subalveda yeah damn what turn off love it this beautiful i mean by the way there are a lot of singers right now who sound like early amy man
Starting point is 00:11:19 and i will put this person in that category and that's like huge compliment yeah yeah yeah it's a black girl doing folk music and i think we need more of that agreed water baby water baby and beautiful it flip it around Yeah. Under and over. That was beautiful. Thank you for sharing that. That's great stuff right there.
Starting point is 00:11:39 All right, Jay, what do you got? All right, so you guys know that I get a lot of suggestions. All right, I want one more. Come on, give it back to me. You guys know that I get a lot of suggestions from my son. This one is from my daughter. What? Wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Young Noah is bringing new music into my life. my daughter's middle name is Ray R-A-Y-E And I got a Ray song It reminds me of Envogue Oh The song is
Starting point is 00:12:09 Where is my husband And do you know it? Yep, I do Do you know it? Do you know where is my husband? All right here we go This is it Where the hell is my husband
Starting point is 00:12:20 But in the song they say Where the hell is my husband Do you know around? No, go All right let's rock this Oh my husband Oh, oh, hold on the hell is my husband Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, wow he's been to get him to get all right

Starting point is 00:13:08 It's so 90s. It's like she has no clue how 90s. She doesn't know. Hey, this is going to do numbers at, uh, ABCU Homecoming. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. And you could see, like, them getting the band from Grambling State playing behind her.
Starting point is 00:13:22 For sure. It's also going to be a big web. song next year i think this is made for a marching bit where is my husband my house and he comes out he comes out he comes out he comes out like oh there he is geoffrey over here jeffrey i'm here i'm here i mean i just love it these girls go for it it's really really fun let's let this take to break this is ray we'll take it to break and we come back song two it's the music episode used to be on view from the cheap seats. We bumped it over to Dumb People Town. Stick around. Happy
Starting point is 00:13:56 holidays. We'll be back with song 2. J. Logic, Matt Price, right after this. Mm. Good times. Right? There's no, Jonah. Do we get an extra song? I think we add in Jonas. We might add in Jonas at the, like,
Starting point is 00:14:17 if he shows up. Yeah, if he shows up, we can do all three straight in a row. Just be like, Jonah, what's your first one? Okay. All right. He can also send them in. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:14:30 You put them on the list. We could zoom them in. Where is he? All right. Where the hell's my Jonah? Where the hell is my Jonah. Welcome back. We are the Sky Brothers.
Starting point is 00:14:39 He is Matt Price. He is Jay Logic. Where the hell is my Jonah? And Jonah Ray, who is working right now. He's working with Dan Aykron. And he is not there. Where the hell is my acroid? He showed up late for the session.
Starting point is 00:14:52 So he is, we dedicate this episode to him and these are the best songs that we found this year. I dedicated to him. These are the best songs we found this year and I'm in a tough spot because I don't know which four. Just play six like you did last time. Which four to play. Just play them all. Why do you have to worry about it? Why don't I play them all?
Starting point is 00:15:12 Like logic pours over. He pours over these picks and it like breaks his heart when he has to say, no, no one and you just play all the songs. I'm going to play all. I heard this on the way here. Well, he isn't in a Jonah where Jonah plays. the entire song. Oh, yeah. Right, he does.
Starting point is 00:15:25 But his songs are like a minute eight. It's called Pallona Jonah. It is Pullin a Jonah. All right, I'm gonna play a kind of... I do love that song. I'm gonna play a very Prician song. This is my song for Price. Did I write it?
Starting point is 00:15:39 No, it just feels like a song that you would like. This feels like it's right up your alley. This is a band called Wednesday. Just a fantastic man. You know the band Wednesday. Yeah. Let's go. Female centered band.
Starting point is 00:15:51 And this is just a beautiful. beautiful song and I love the steel pedal and again vibes chill me out I need to be chilled this is where we're going with it elderberry wine here we go hmm sweet song is a long car and I drove you to the airport with the e-break on ain't heard that voice in a long time had to check back there to make sure you were alive Angel home of an electric car Rivers is toward me Sometimes in my head
Starting point is 00:16:33 I give up and flip Like if you told me She was married to M.J. Mendel Lenderman I go to go ahead. Wednesday Lenderman? Yep. Wendermint Wender, M.J. Wendon, Stammer.
Starting point is 00:17:05 This is morning coffee. Thank you. We've identified all. You just fed the doggo. That's right. They're chilling. They're farting. Logic knows my house.
Starting point is 00:17:18 So good. Yeah, it's so great to have them in our house. So that is I love this The vibe is great I just love that they're making this type of music And I'm like They made it
Starting point is 00:17:28 Probably like where does it go I don't even know where it would go It doesn't fit rock It doesn't fit indie But it's kind of country I was going to say It's got like a The alternative kind of country vibe that I love
Starting point is 00:17:40 Yeah It's very very pricey Elderberry wine Wednesday Wednesday is country I think we need a new For folk with like modern folk Y'all turn it
Starting point is 00:17:53 I've heard y'all turn it I've heard y'all turn it before I've heard y'all turn it before I've got to like okay it anyway I just the course
Starting point is 00:18:02 I heard everybody get so long just fun because the champagne tastes like Yilderberry wine so good love it
Starting point is 00:18:11 love these guys Wednesday elderberry wine felt very it felt very pricey in and I thought you would enjoy that I did enjoy it right some of these songs
Starting point is 00:18:19 are for you guys some of them are like this is why I love doing this because I get to you when you guys get the I get so much new stuff and then it takes me on rabbit holes through other things correct and I feel like there are years where we stay very much in our own I don't call it lane but like the songs and then there are years where I'm like wait this is a Jonah song I'm grabbing this because it reminded me of him and I want to bring it because this is a Jonah song and that felt like a price song and I definitely had songs for you I enjoyed it And I'll listen to it a lot, I'm guessing.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Yes, same. In the new year. I wasn't aware of it, Rand. And we're brothers. You guys are brothers? Yeah, somebody played three more. I know. Give them four more song.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I was in Palm Springs for Thanksgiving. Wow. Which was a, I'm always like, yeah, got Airbnb. It doesn't matter. What? I'm not bragging. We had a pool. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:19:14 We were there. Jooks? Yeah, hot tub. Oh. Spade extra four. It's fine. Anyway, we were... No, but it was really lovely,
Starting point is 00:19:26 and Palm Springs had a lot more to do than I thought it did. Oh, I love Palm Springs. I hadn't been there a lot, but anyway, so much to do. One of the places we found was this really cool coffee shop slash vinyl store. Whoa. And it was very cool. Downtown PS. Yeah, downtown PS.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Do you know what it is? Yeah, my boy, Jamie Strong, just bought a place out there like two years ago. and I think this is the spy. He holds a show on his feed every now and then. Oh, really? Yeah. It was really cool. He owns innovative leisure, the label, Innovative Leisure.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Okay. Wow. I truthly should say, I forgot the name of the store. Anyway, but it was great, if that's the same place, it was great. But they were playing a lot of good music. The DJ was playing a lot of cool music, and this was a band out of Canada, and they play, Good Fortune is the name of the band. Nice.
Starting point is 00:20:15 And they play a lot of, she plays a lot of French pop type music. which I really got into when we moved to LA. Melted vinyl coffee? Maybe it was melted vinyl. Is that it? I'll find it. Let's see. Oh, shoot.
Starting point is 00:20:33 I don't know. I'm not sure. But anyway, I'll find it. But anyway, good fortune. She makes a lot of, again, French pop. And this is called Soci. I love it. Soce.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Soce. How more to you? Camera Obisgira. I have to sip some coffee that is. Yes. To look through other records to this. I need to roll a cigarette to this. This is like, Tarantino's like,
Starting point is 00:21:12 why didn't I find this? Does this feel like a very much? Yep. Like someone's dancing. about to get gone. Morgan. Someone's about to do a mountain of drugs or someone's about to get got.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Maybe gritty. Oh, this is so gloriously 60s, I love it. Yeah, I love it. It's brand new, though. Brand new! So good. Really good. I was into it, like, I think I may have played a song by Freedom Fry before. They also always, like, kind of, they do a lot of
Starting point is 00:21:50 French covers. They do a great one of Is This It by the Strokes? So what's... Anyway, her name's good fortune. Good fortune. This song is called... It's called Soci.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Socy. Socy. Socy. And I'm a fan. I'm a fan. SoCy. Same. Socy.
Starting point is 00:22:06 It's so... Thank you, my dude. All right. Logic song, too. Hey, Hollywood. You need to hire all of us to... Music supervise? Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:13 We'd kill it. By the way, you would kill it. I do all right, but like... You see what you should be doing. You have to fill in the gas. that I'm not to pause but yeah
Starting point is 00:22:22 you should do it so I have a it's a tough one because I have a track that our bike that comes on when I'm biking all the time
Starting point is 00:22:30 playing ball playing ball this song is winning it out play them out this was for my album in the year clips
Starting point is 00:22:37 oh dude push it to you malice thank God for malice clips is like on a lot clips is on a lot of people's I mean I'm so happy
Starting point is 00:22:47 it's out there I hope they win album a year because they deserve it They could. They put their foot. I love the artwork on the album. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:53 So this is Inglorious Bastards. When we are together, we got power. We have shifted from having a seizure. Yeah, y'all. About what the man got. The season. I'm going to cop a brick right now. Chop that bitch up.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Oh, yeah. With an apron, it's whiter than the polls. Red distribution wide open. Now all the smokers call him Moses Harrod browned and baby roaches Got your bitch been d'o like scolioca. Woo. Watch a lot.
Starting point is 00:23:30 That's the only back and forth that I'm posting. We really netted what we grossing. By the way, I'm writing this on the ocean. I'm writing this on the ocean. By the way. By the way. It's on a cruise. He's on a yachting.
Starting point is 00:23:44 It's on a gatchel. There are no misses on this album They're all back Amazing So good I mean this is a song you roll up When you want to be tough in your car Turn this on and just blast it out
Starting point is 00:24:04 And when you're hitting corners You better have the clips on God that's good That is so good Name of the song Inglorious bastards Clips C-L-I-P-S-E C-L-I-P-See
Starting point is 00:24:18 I'm handing you my phone like here you go I know. That's all right. I would take yours. You have good picks in there. Picks of clips. All right. So I don't know what to do here.
Starting point is 00:24:27 This is so tough because, yeah, like you. I mean, my album of the year is the Geese album. Yes, that is my album. Great album. That is my album. And so there's a track on there that I really kind of want to play. Play it. Play them all.
Starting point is 00:24:39 All right. I'm going to play this one. Price says, play them all. Why not? I'm playing. Because I listen to, again, I'm at the moment where my daughter's music is mostly playing in my car. So when I, when I drive her, and I've gotten her
Starting point is 00:24:51 on to this because she likes it I'm like let's go so if it seeped into her and I just think this album I thought you're going to do
Starting point is 00:24:58 something from K-pop demon hunters this is husbands by geese and I just think this whole album it's so good
Starting point is 00:25:08 it got me to go back and watch that Strokes concert with the red background in the and I was like these are
Starting point is 00:25:15 they're just incredible it's like if Tom York group of New Orleans Yes, with the vocals, he might figure out. And his voice is so unique. But I'll never explain. You know this?
Starting point is 00:25:29 Oh yeah. So you don't have to waste your time. I love him. You don't have to waste your time. Hiking up a hundred hails. You don't have to. Beautiful. But I will.
Starting point is 00:25:51 Well, it was your hair clean. Beautiful. When your husband's all die. Well, you know what I mean. Well, you know what I mean. It's funky. It's funky. Like, it is funky for...
Starting point is 00:26:20 Yeah. It's just... It's so different than anything that I've ever heard. It's even different than what they used to do, so I'm blown away. This album's great, and I feel like it comes up, like, every so often in the year, when a big album comes up and it still strikes all the right notes, and you're like, I'm so happy we were around and tuned into music with this. Let's take this a break.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Song 2 down. Here is with Matt Price, Jay Lodge, me and Jay, doing our thing. Music episode, happy holidays. Enjoy this as a piece. We're right back with song three. You can tell that those kids had a great audio diet. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Oh, my God. Because there's a little bit of. everything a lot of radio head yeah but you know what's interesting is that doesn't so their earlier stuff sounds like the rolling stones yeah so i think my boy tells me his faith he likes that better even though this is a great album too yeah it's i don't know i'm just like yeah they're great the reason why i like this album and i will say it we come back from break hey guys welcome back we're to third song before rain you get to her third song one of the things that i did want to say about we were done with your thing okay just kidding so i remember when like yankee hotel fox truck
Starting point is 00:27:47 came out and I was like I like so many parts of this but it's making me work through other parts and I was like I don't know if I love it all yet and it was like tiny little islands of stuff that I loved on the album but it wasn't all connecting for me and then as I kept listening and listening and listening then it became one long connected piece and I think that's what this album is doing for me and so that's why I loved it and I want to talk over Randy's pick I'm not talking about the coffee shop I found oh yeah he's called gray G-R-E-R-E-R-E- Coffee Coffee House in Palm Springs. Check it out if you're there.
Starting point is 00:28:21 G.R.A. It's very cool. That's great. Logic. You have anything to stay over, Randy, before he gets started? No, he's good. Nope. Okay. So I don't know. Oh, yes, ending, I guess. I don't know what to do.
Starting point is 00:28:33 I know, shout out Dr. Umar. There you go. Thank you. I'm glad you played the geese. I have a geese song on my list, too, that wasn't that song. I'm not going to play that, but I'm glad it's represented here. I really, I'm having a logic moment here where I just, just don't know where to go.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Play them on. Play them all. We got to do this live. I know a record story. I know. We can do this too. I do it a live one. Is it a coffee shop?
Starting point is 00:28:57 Road trip. Road trip. I would do it. So there's a song that I really want to. God. I don't know what I'm going to do. I really don't know what I'm going to do here. Let's pick one because we'll do it.
Starting point is 00:29:07 Are we going to do a bonus one in our Patreon? Save it for the page. We have to turn the video on if we're going to do the Patreon. No, whatever. I'm going to play this song. Do it. This I thought was. Whatever you do, take your time.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Really cool rock and roll. Slower, slower, slower, slower. It's by Greg Freeman. Do you know Greg Freeman? Yes, he had a home run to end. Freddy Freeman. No, that's... You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:29:28 That's Andy Pahead. No, this is called Gaelic Shrug by Greg Freeman. And again, it's a return to rock and roll. I just love it. Here we go. Can you tell what mood I'm in is this? Yeah. It's like the Greg.
Starting point is 00:29:47 In-band. Sounds like a Wilco song. Yeah. Unabashedly rock and roll. So in. I love the guy's voice. Like me. Long intro.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Ooh Because you found us today Feeling the same Kind of Ben Quillerie What's his name? See It feels like Ben Queller It does
Starting point is 00:30:31 Greg Freeman I think I've seen video Like clips of him on Just him at the piano Playing and hearing his voice I think I That's how I'm Just
Starting point is 00:30:42 Pissing on our clubs It's cool right Yeah for sure So I know I kind of stayed in the same genre of stuff. I wish I, I don't know. You know what you love what you love. I love what I love. And this is Gaelic Shrug, Greg Freeman.
Starting point is 00:31:01 That's good. You know what you've made so far? Yeah. This is your Keep a Jika Calm and the airport playlist. Thank you. Because I could go off. Yeah. But I need to bring it.
Starting point is 00:31:11 I got to, this is called turn the temperature down on what's happening around. I need to keep it calm between the airport. between the ears, and this is what it is. Thank you. I like, you know what I like? In some years, we all do stay in our late. You're saying this a little bit before, but I like the idea that, like, oh, this is just what you were into this year.
Starting point is 00:31:28 And the other time, we're like, oh, we're kind of like, you know, like, whatever, finding new stuff for whatever reason. I think that's a cool part of finding new music. Totally. And so I just, I found so much, but just to continue the point of what I was going to choose and what I may choose for my bonus song. The bonus song is so vastly different. It could have gone the other way.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Right. So anyway, what do you got? Yeah, yeah, for sure. So I'm going to keep the rock vibes going with the band that I love when bands now, they name themselves after just very mundane things like real estate. So this is sports team. Sports team, yeah, I've heard that. And they're fun.
Starting point is 00:32:09 They have a good sense of humor. They're out of their British band. Great. Sports team. Appropriate for, you know. It's like Jay saw someone wearing a sweater that said San Francisco sports on it with like a figure kicking a soccer ball. A sailboat, I think.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Sailboat or like, what? That's not San Francisco sports. Like, what are you saying? I saw a woman on the plane yesterday just wearing a sweatshirt that says sports. I'm like, you rep in all sports? I love that. Was it designed in like the old school 80s blue label font? You remember that?
Starting point is 00:32:39 Yeah. I need something that says sports in that font. Oh, yeah. Anything in that font is going to be. How about the Coca-Cola sweatshirt Font? Sports. Oh, yeah. Sports and the co-co-sweets.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Curseve. Yeah. Curseve. The song is called Media Machine. It's got that jangly sort of, you talked about
Starting point is 00:32:57 MJ Lenderman. Yeah. I feel like it's a little bit of that vibe. Lender mini? Lender mini. It's a Lendermini. I need a bagel
Starting point is 00:33:05 smear and make it Lendermini. It's my favorite Canadian show that where they talk about it. Should we go to Lendermans to get bagels? Lenderman. It's letter can. It's called Media Machine. by sports team.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Let's do it. I'm already in. I'm already in. And. Susie's sleeping. Simon says. Mm-hmm. Monday border.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Strawbeats. Sunday dress. Perfect. And you're still sleeping. I'm right in my stupid little song. I repeater who puts the chalk strap a record on And I can change the way I talk And I can change the way I dress
Starting point is 00:33:52 I could try to ride a love song if I thought you'd be impressed You know, I care you getting better And I care about your friends I care about your brother and I care about your pets But I don't care if you love me I don't care if you tell me you love me I don't care if you want me to love you I don't care if you hear me
Starting point is 00:34:10 I could sign me They're a lot of fun, fun band. Great. I love everything about it. Yeah, a bunch of songs that I've heard them. The whole album's good, or their stuff's good? Yeah, it's great. I mean, just their sound is great.
Starting point is 00:34:23 And they do, they kind of mix it up a lot, which is really fun. Big fan, sports team. I like the mix of sports. Sports teams. Sparts. Do it. Is there a band called Burt Toast? No.
Starting point is 00:34:34 No, but are you smelling Burnt Toast? You might be smelling Burnto toast? No, I hope that. Please, dear God. You're good? You good, bro? I do your music podcast called Bert Toast. Oh, I like that.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Nice. Bird toast, in parentheses, stroking out. Pause, but okay. Damn, we get so many. So, as you three know, I've become a bicycle commuter and by the last three years, and that's how I lost almost 100 pounds, getting a shape, so I'd make,
Starting point is 00:35:05 this is one of the songs that hit me early in the year, that when it came on, it would just get the juices, you know, Did you bookmark it for this show early on? Yeah, it's been in the playlist since it dropped. You've got to create the playlist January 1 and just start adding stuff to it. That's what I do. And this was another swipe up.
Starting point is 00:35:27 My IG seems or really know what the fuck I fuck. I love that your IG is so intuitive. It's good. I'm glad it's delivering. You know, between egg over rice from Japan and I get music as well. Yep. And bike parts. Music and bike parts.
Starting point is 00:35:40 That could be a store. Yeah. Record and bike stuff? Come on. Palm Springs. I went to a bike park. That was also a record store that also served breakfast. No, didn't you go to win Japan and sold denim as well?
Starting point is 00:35:50 Spoke. Japanese breakfast? Spoke. Shout out to the crew is spoke. I love you guys. I know you do. That's your L.A. River crew. Ginny and Dane, big ups.

Starting point is 00:36:12 All that I know. 1508 It's Barbara Streisand What do you do when the love dies I gave it all that I had Only a child when you left me Is it selfish that I'm saying that

Starting point is 00:37:35 Do it. Yeah. They're amazing. The name of the band again? 1508 1508 I would say 1508 the amount of songs Brandy played today

Starting point is 00:40:43 Yeah. But I also hear like a 90s teen movie sound truck in a great way. Breeders. Breeders-e. I was going to say breeders-like, they double the vocals. It's like they have power. She's power in the 90s and music old. The breeders drink oatmeal glates.
