Starting point is 00:00:00 Asan, welcome back to the DTF. It's good to see you, ma'am. Good to you, thank you for having me back. I'm excited for this. I'm so glad you're here. Yes, yes, yes. I always like stuff you show me. So many things I want to show you.
Starting point is 00:00:10 I think we should just kick it off with this, and maybe Josh, you could reset this video. We'll just watch the whole thing. So I just want to know your thoughts on what's happening here. That fucking diarrhea from the lettuce they should. Dude, it's... Oh. That fucking diarrhea from the letter of the letter of the letter.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Dude, it smells like absolutely shit. And then a fucking, a fucking big fat, fucking rat died. I had to fucking have a buddy to come over. He was like, what that smell? I don't know. So my neighbor gave me these baseball cards. I need you to go through these and kind of let me know if they're worth anything so we know what to offer. There's 10 more of them.
Starting point is 00:00:51 So just make sure you got clean hands. Yeah, my name is clean. Man, it smells in here. I know. I don't know. fucking, I'm spraying the fucking shit of. So how much is here? 1350 the second time,
Starting point is 00:01:06 and then 1150 the first time. And then didn't he leave two to both? Oh, fuck yeah. Didn't TB leave two of them? How did they do? Because last month. Didn't he leave one more, though? Well, there's 1350 and one, it's 1150, another,
Starting point is 00:01:23 and he's 20. But didn't he leave one? Didn't he come another time? Yeah. The first time you brought the big envelope. All right. That's enough. What's happening?
Starting point is 00:01:33 What is going on? What is that? I mean, man, maybe that's a man living his dreams, though. Like, what? I just shit anywhere and someone brings me baseball cars? It's kind of like... What is it, though? I mean, like, okay, you look at that.
Starting point is 00:01:47 It's an abandoned building, I think. I think that's his house. Okay. And he's like sitting... Is he on a bucket that he just shit in? He's saying he has diarrhea. But then there's money. Someone's come to bring him money, and this guy has baseball cards, and he wants him to value the baseball cards for some deal.
Starting point is 00:02:07 Who are they? Man, I'd like, I mean, it's just two dudes living their best life, really. Like, you know what I mean? I kept looking at him to see any signs of despair in his face. There's despair in his body, for sure. Yeah. But his face, his face looks like he's kind of exactly where he wants. to be happy. It's just a normal day. Yeah, he's not really hurting anyone. I mean, it reads like a normal
Starting point is 00:02:33 day, but it also feels like a scene from like a Quentin Tarantino movie. There's so much more going on. Are they, are they drug dealers? Are they fences? Are they? Yeah, I think these people deal in like, the card market is so huge these days. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, have you seen these videos of like, like, adults, like, beating each other up to get to Pokemon cards? Yeah, well, I mean, Pokemon cards. I didn't know baseball cards. No, I think, I think, like, there's just a card market that's massive. Like, even Tom Brady
Starting point is 00:03:05 was in Austin recently opening a card store, and it was all sports cards. Really? Well, let me see if I get... Does this chair go higher, Josh? What is? Yeah, Tom Brady's vault is right down the street from here. Okay, that's way better. Yeah. So, okay, so
Starting point is 00:03:21 again, I don't know that it even matters, but this is a place I will never go. Tom Brady's card vault. I'll never go there. I never, did you ever get into baseball cards? No, I never got the whole card thing. I collected Pokemon cards when I was in elementary school
Starting point is 00:03:38 because it was a big craze and all the kids were doing it. Yeah. But not off some, like, I can get some value off of this. It's just like, oh, everyone's doing it. My friends are doing it. Oh, yeah, I got my kids and Pokemon cards because one of the camps that are out. The kids are into Pokemon cards.
Starting point is 00:03:49 No kid knows how to play. No. These are all little kids. I've never actually met a person who knows how to play Pokemon. They're out there. They have competitions. Yeah. They have leagues and stuff, but like, but even the other big card games that people collect, like, like magic and Yu-Gio, I've played those.
Starting point is 00:04:05 There was a- You played Yu-Gio? You know how to play Magic? Yes. No fucking what? I mean, it's been a while. It's been a long time. Wow. But there was a whole, like, section of our middle school that had like, this is where the card players sit.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Right. Yeah. And then me and my friends, we would, like, steal cards and sell them back to people. That was our little business, a little mafioso business. See, this is exactly, you bastard. This is exactly what happened. My poor, sweet, youngest son goes to camp with these Pokemon cards. I got them.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Comes back with obvious fakes. Some little piece of shit was at that camp with counterfeit Pokemon cards, trading them with other kids for real fucking Pokemon cards. You know what? And it's a good lesson to your son on how the economy works. Exactly. Yeah, it's better he learns his lesson now than when he's like 30 or whatever. Isn't that incredible how young it starts? Scamming.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Scaming. And like people think like politicians aren't, I mean, I don't know if anyone thinks that anymore. But everyone's looking at Trump and there's, you know, what the fuck? He's scamming. Like, he's like, yeah. Fucking scamming. Like, he's the, every president I think is scammed. That's the whole point.
Starting point is 00:05:22 If you don't make money on the side while you're the president, you kind of, you kind of wasted being a president. Now, what do you think about? Can you pull up the recent Trump-shitting-his-pants video? This is becoming like a whole genre of videos. I guess the president is incontinent and they get analyzed. But, yeah, pull this one up. It's really interesting. That's so funny.
Starting point is 00:05:49 A photo of Tony's face that's in Clu-Cleck's comedy is. Oh, my God. Trump shits pants. I mean, that's seven months ago. That's not the one. Look at the new, I guess there's a newer one. Trump shit's pants, J.D. Vance. There's so many Trump shit's pants videos that you have to keep finding it.
Starting point is 00:06:12 And the worst thing about it is like go back and look. I guess this is exactly what we're doing. But this is an entire genre of YouTube videos of people like us analyzing the president's shitting his pants. I should send it to you, man I'm sorry I'll send it to We got to the bottom of the Trump pooping incident Well, okay, look He'd like
Starting point is 00:06:37 He's I mean, man We just went from old Thermal cameras That's really funny Yeah play that That's not real That's no way that's real
Starting point is 00:06:54 That's not real It's like a fucking nuclear bomb Yeah Shut the fuck up He's been eating fucking uranium. Well, didn't they think he shit his pants during the state of the
Starting point is 00:07:08 Union because of the way the people behind him reacted? Well, he's definitely shitting his pants. I mean, he's incontinent. Yes, that's very clear. Like, he's definitely shaking his pants. And I mean, I'm sure Biden shit his pants too. Not too. I mean, I don't know if dead people can shit.
Starting point is 00:07:22 That's the thing we've just went. We've went from like, there's no credible evidence or verification that President Donald Trump saw those pants. Like, it's not like the White House is going to announce. Like the president shit his pants. Yeah. But it is crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:35 It is so. I have a feeling you never experienced this. Did you ever like have to deal with your dad getting too drunk at in a public space? No. So like it's, if you ever had to deal with that, Josh? My mom. Okay. So that's an interesting moment, you know, when that happens.
Starting point is 00:07:51 When when you realize you got to get your dad, you know, back to the hotel room or something. And you don't know what he's going to say because, you know, like, he's hammered. And it's, it's fascinating. I feel like this is the current national experience. It's like when your dad gets too drunk, except it's the president. And you know what I mean? And everything he does is like what a super hammered old man would do at a bar.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Oh, yeah, except if you bring him back to his house, he has like the buttons to press the nuclear war. That's the problem. It's like, damn. He's launching attacks. Yeah, but he's clearly. like hammered, incapacitated. He's shitting his pants.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Renaming bodies of water. Very classic old guy move. Did you see South Park is renaming? South America. It's just like, man, because you know in his mind he's like, people be like, yeah, America. And like people are like, hey man, like gas is still super expensive. No one wants this war. I know.
Starting point is 00:09:00 And now we're like, this is what? you care about? It's not a big enough smokescreen. Pull up the White House's Twitter feed. Every once in a while, just, you know, I don't know why. Just to, I guess, confirm that we now live in like an absurdist timeline where nothing means anything. He posted a, he posted a video of him as Zelda as Link from the Arcorine of Time. Yeah. Because they're coming out with a new release.
Starting point is 00:09:24 That's not the White House. I think you spelled Whitey House, John. The White House Archive. The White House Archive. You don't want Archive. Oh, there it is, the White House. The White House right there. Above that one.
Starting point is 00:09:38 About one more, right there. Welcome to the Golden Age of America. Yeah. Man, I don't know. Okay, let's just play a couple of these fucking insane things he posts. Philadelphia's changed. Go down one more. This one's going to seem like the most normal because it's pinned.
Starting point is 00:09:54 But yeah, let's just play that one. What is this? It's just a picture. It's just a picture with MAGA in the sun. Keep scrolling down. Oh, there you go. There you go. There you go. It's the legend of Trump. Go, yes. Not that one. Go down one more, Josh. Not the... Go down.
Starting point is 00:10:08 This one, right here, is pure insanity. Like, it's the craziest shit of all time. Like, what? There's no way this is a copyright issue as well. President Trump is working tirelessly to make America great again. For those of you who are listening, it's just somebody used AI to make a legend of Zelda commercial, it's not that good,
Starting point is 00:10:46 keep scrolling down. Keep scrolling down, something about Sapporo beer moving from Canada to the United States, that's really going to help a lot of people. You know, it's like, keep scrolling down, see if you can find the Green Lantern one.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Oh, he did a Green Lantern one? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, oh, there you go. I'm going to employ you the month. Oh, yeah. Is that Rubio? Yeah, that's...
Starting point is 00:11:16 So now we're seeing, like, what it appears to be something from SpongeBob Squarepants. That's exactly from SunBob. And Marco Rubio, I guess, is, like, President Trump loves Rubio. So make something for Marco.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Keep scrolling down. That's an AI ad for sure, too. Keep scrolling down. There's just all these, like, desperate... There you go. Green Lantern. No way.

Starting point is 00:13:49 This is what we're going to do to Iran. That's so funny. Dude, it is so... Like, because while you're seeing, There, I mean, is so hilarious and so completely disconnected from reality that it is beyond unnerving. I wouldn't even call it unnerving. I don't know if there's a word for it. Ontological shock or something.
Starting point is 00:14:22 It's like, what the fuck? Yeah. It's like, wow. If he was still Trump, non-president Trump and just famous guy Trump, that's hilarious. But this is like, dude, come on. Dude, you're, you're like, like, Iran is like, fucking us up. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:14:41 Like, like, they're, we might, they're talking about, like, we might, I don't know, I'm getting politically, they're talking about we might have to leave the Middle East, like all the, all our bases, which I don't know if I'm exactly brokenhearted over that, but, right, but like, whatever the foot hold the U.S. had in the Middle East is, apparently we've run out of. Goodwill? We've run out of, no.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I don't know we ever had goodwill. We're running missiles already? I think we're running out of the air defense missiles. So Iran is just like bombing the shit out of American bases. And meaning, and like we have all these ships that need supplies. They can't get it from the bases anymore. So it's just a shit show. And it's so just to see the White House feed and think in terms of like other fans.
Starting point is 00:15:33 famous like strongmen and fascist tyrants like Mussolini, Hitler, like, you know what I mean? I'm like, I'm not saying Trump is like, no, Mussolini or Hitler. But one thing is for sure, they were better at PR than him in a certain way. They were more, they, they, Hitler would look at that and be like, dude, you got to like, you got to trim your feet a little bit. This is embarrassing. Yeah, I don't, I don't. I've always thought calling Trump a dictator was always a little bit.
Starting point is 00:16:03 overblown. Yeah. You know, the idea of what like the government, like, oh, the executive branch is so powerful now. It's, like, it's like, it's like, always kind of, in recent history, it's been kind of fascistic in that way. Yeah. So it's like, but it's like he's never inspired.
Starting point is 00:16:21 Because the overall thing with those sort of dictators is that they were like, this is a sense of national identity and we need to be strong and unite. Trump has never been strong and unite. Trump has always been divisive and if you don't like me fuck you but there's no actual message of like besides him being like we'll make America great in these like platitudes
Starting point is 00:16:44 that sound good there's no actual like where is he trying to unite people most of his time is spent trying to like he's basically doing the presidential equivalent of responding to internet comments right like every single thing derails him so there's no like where's the overall
Starting point is 00:17:00 theme that a totalitarianistic type ruler could get the people to rally around. Right. Because eventually what happens is someone says something and they're gone. Right. You're not powerful enough to like to start that call yet. Well, but I guess it's sort of like you go to the zoo and you see
Starting point is 00:17:16 a tiger pacing around. Right. The tiger doesn't have all its tiger powers. It's stuck in a fucking cage. But Trump if there was a way to circumvent the protections don't you that are there the balance of power don't you think he would do anything he could
Starting point is 00:17:40 to make to do anything he wanted to do i mean yes yeah i think if he had that power he could so it's sort of like he and i'm not saying other presidents haven't done this i've never liked any american president they all freak me out right and i'm always fascinated by them because they are power hungry in power hungry and powerful so it's interesting to see. What does a person do with this ridiculous title? Parading around like, you know, someone who is killing people. How does someone who's blowing people up act? It's always interesting to me. This is why I love to watch like serial killer documentaries and stuff. Yeah, yeah, like how do you get there? Right. And already, like, Trump has
Starting point is 00:18:24 exceeded the death count of all the greatest American serial killers who usually the, how many people did Bundy kill? Bundy's 34, I believe. How do you know that? And then I think Gacy's 36. I could be wrong about that. So yeah, so like
Starting point is 00:18:44 36. Okay, that's the one. So Gacy's more than that? Because I think Gacy's the most. Gacy beat Bundy? No shit. Yeah. What's the Gacy? Well, I do have a
Starting point is 00:18:56 joke about this. What makes Bundy Gacy killed 33 But what makes Bundy the most impressive Out of all those classic American Civil killers will call him now Because now there's this new wave
Starting point is 00:19:10 That's killed more But the classic American cell killer What makes Bundy so impressive Is that he would kill White women And like from rich areas Which are like the most like If you kill them
Starting point is 00:19:22 The police would try to get you Right Like Gacy was killing gay dudes in the 70s Which is like They didn't give a fuck Right Same thing with Domber They didn't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:19:31 That's right. He was like doping their drinks and stuff. Yeah, the cops gave Dommer one of his victims back. The guy ran away and ran to the cops. And the cops were like, this is some gay shit. Yeah, yeah. So, but Bundy was doing it too like, ambitious. White women.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Yeah. Yes. In the college football, he would call it Strength the Schedule. His strength of schedule was way harder, dude. Bundy was in the SEC. So when I look at most American, presidents in recent history as serial killers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:04 But not like serial killers in the sense of like they're actually the ones doing the killing, more like Charles Manson style. You know, even though I don't know if you categorize him as a serial killer, Charles Manson would send his henchman to murder for him. Right, right, right. And then claimed he never really killed anybody. But he asked people, he did kill. I think he did kill a few people.
Starting point is 00:20:24 No, I think he technically never killed anybody. Okay. That was his thing. You sound like Charles Manson. Yeah. But he, he, he, so when I say Trump has killed this many people, I mean it in the way that Manson killed people. Sure. When you're, when you're ordering the military into a war, even though you're not the, obviously the one who's like flying the planes, dropping the bombs, you ordered it.
Starting point is 00:20:43 So the karma rests on your, on your shoulders and the soldier's shoulders, too. But so, uh, when you look at like what a prolific killer presidents happen to be. Like, pull up how many people, Biden, how many people died in combat during Biden's presidency? And then Obama with the drone strikes? Yeah. And let's see who's got the highest kill count. How many people died in Biden's? No, how many people died, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Died in combat during Biden's presidency. Yeah. 13 U.S. service members, three U.S. service members. So we're going to add that to the kill count. but how many, how many, well, so,
Starting point is 00:21:28 like, well, now, how many civilians they killed? How many casualties in war during Biden?
Starting point is 00:21:34 How many war casualties? And then, and then you have to count all, like, it, these numbers are like on, there's not, they're not going to give you one
Starting point is 00:21:44 because they're going to give you U.S. service numbers. Okay, during Joe with Biden's presidency, there's approximately 163 total combat-related casualties. And I think that this is just including, US service. No, this is just
Starting point is 00:21:58 all US service members. Okay, right, because the other people that were killed. Well, they're just bugs. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're not going to count them. That is the count as a guy. So, um, but then you have to also think like, during these, like how much, how much money they give to places like, how about the bad guys?
Starting point is 00:22:15 How much money they give to like places like Ukraine and like Israel and all these stuff that are involved in, like, directly involved with killing human beings. Right. So, yeah. So when you see, America president, you are seeing a murderer. If someone who, and if you want to argue, well, it's not murder if you're killing quote, the bad guys.
Starting point is 00:22:37 So let's just, I disagree with that, but let's just go with that. Civilian casualties. And so we already know that, what was it, 180? U.S. service members. 180 Iranian school kids is what Trump blew up. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:22:51 So I'm just fascinated because it's like, I don't know. you don't have to stay it on the podcast, but just think of the worst thing you ever did. Okay. You know, something you just, a bad decision you made that caused a lot of fucking harm
Starting point is 00:23:02 in your community in your life. I imagine that bothers you, right? Yeah. To this day, you know? So just imagine waking up in the morning and you, you wake up, it's a nice day.
Starting point is 00:23:16 You're like, ah, and then you remember, oh, fuck, that thing I said to do killed 180 kids at least, right? Yes. And then rolling over, getting your phone and being like, hey, I had an idea for a great video.
Starting point is 00:23:32 I'm the Green Lantern. You know what I mean? That's what I'm talking about. There's no way he's involved in that, you think? In the Green Lantern? Yeah. Someone showed it to him. Yes, I guess someone showed it to him.
Starting point is 00:23:48 I don't, I'm very, like, I don't know how much he's there. I'm very much like we might be in like early stage Biden era in terms of where Trump is mentally Right Yeah and this could easily just be What the new way
Starting point is 00:24:05 That they deal with presidents Right It's like you get into the presidency Whoever's in charge is like The Greenlander video and the Zelda video Is like their version of just dangling the keys In front of Trump Right
Starting point is 00:24:16 They keep him happy while they do whatever the fuck they do Right That's kind of sad because when he's like My polls are great. He isn't lying. They're just showing him that he's doing great. Yeah. They do that weird thing with golf with him.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Like Kim Jong-un, his golf scores. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So probably when you hear him saying, that's fake news. He believes it's fake fucking news because his like circle of handlers shows him just bullshit, which he buys. It's like the economy's doing great. Everything's fucking great.
Starting point is 00:24:48 The war they're on is going great. We should continue at present. Everyone loves it. Yeah. Yeah. And he just buys into it. I mean, because when you get a president in the White House, that is the most surveilled, controlled American, right? There's no more surveilled American than the American president.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Right. And there's a lot of interests and powers and principalities that want to control that person. And so probably they just get them in there and just, when they send him to the doctor, the doctor's like, oh yeah, take these. You've got, it's for high blood pressure. And you know what I mean? And you just, you're shit in your pants, talking about golf, posting Green Lantern videos. Probably.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Yeah. Yeah, it's like, it's just like, damn. We just went from dementia to dementia. That's how it feels. I know. That's how it feels. It keeps being dementia. How many years of senile presidents have we had now?
Starting point is 00:25:45 Well, in my lifetime, I would say, I would say Biden, second term Trump have been pretty senile. So that's like at the end of the day, eight years. But you lived under second term Reagan, who I heard was pretty senile. I don't remember. Okay. In those days, you, like, in those days, I don't, you just paid less attention to presidents. Well, they were just weren't in your face all the time.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Yeah. Here, it's just, whatever's happening politically is in your face all the time. Yeah, yeah. You just have to hear. But like, yeah, I was something I was selling, like, there was a lot of, like, with this second term Trump, there's a lot of like these weird unforced errors that he wasn't really making first term. Right. You know, I would say Iran was a massive unforced error.
Starting point is 00:26:28 No way. It was very clear that as divided as the American populace is, no one wanted this. No one wanted it. Then you tried to do the whole, they have weapons of mass destruction, that people will greet us as liberators. It's like, dude, Iraq just happened. Like, yeah, it's 20 years ago, but we all remember Iraq. What are your thoughts? you're a young lad.
Starting point is 00:26:51 How does it feel to know the probability of you getting drafted is going up every day? Has that occurred to you yet? I have thought of it. I have thought of it, that it's just going, it's slowly going up. But, I mean, I can't imagine a draft happening
Starting point is 00:27:09 without a revolt. First of all, the Republicans are about to get spanked in the midterms, hardcore. Hardcore. Because of the Iran stuff. And I think what's going to come back to haunt him is another. a huge, unforced era was all this whole Epstein thing.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Right. Massive. The Biden administration had already signaled like, hey, we're just going to move on from this. Yeah. We're going to put Galane in jail and nobody asked questions. Right. And Trump made a huge thing about it during this campaign trail, which, by the way, he was going to win regardless.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Right. You didn't need to bring it up. Right. And now his name is all over it. And now these new Democrats coming up get to take the moral high ground because they weren't part of the Epstein-Krest Democrats. Right. that we got rid of the Epstein class Democrats
Starting point is 00:27:50 they're all gone. Right. So this new younger crap when you're like, well, we're not the pedophile party anymore. Yeah. Like that's the stance they're taking. Right. Because all that machinery is gone. Right. But you brought it up for no reason. I think that and the Iran stuff is just going to man. It's about to get smacked.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Blue way. Yeah, yeah. They're about to get smacked. And the Democrats are going to have so much momentum going into 2028. And then they're going to take that momentum and fuck it in the ass by rigging the primary and letting Gavin Newsom win as the Democrats do. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:20 The Democrats will take any momentum and just throw it straight into the ground. That's what they do. Okay, so this is where I get conspiratorial. Like, I look at the thing as, like, not as divided as people say. It's just this idiot game of tag where it seems like a whole new regime is taking power. I mean, I saw some interview with Putin, and he says something super smart. He was like, you know, there's always a... new American presidents.
Starting point is 00:28:50 But what the United States is doing doesn't really change. And it's true. It's like there's been like stupid oil wars under Democrats, under conservatives. Let me back that up to make sure. Who started, who bombed Iraq for the first time? That was Bush, original Bush. And then, Kuwait was original Bush. Who did, what, who did, what war did.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Obama start? Did he start a war? No, he started like military action against Syria. Okay, so he just did some incursions into Syria. And Libya. And then Clinton didn't. Did he start a fucking war? Not really. He did bomb Kosovo. Bomb Kosovo. That's nothing.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Yeah, what is that? What is that? That's nothing. And that did kind of... Just bomb Kosovo. He's a saint. Yeah, yeah. And that did kind of coincide with the Monica Lewinsky stuff coming out. Okay. Right. So that might have been... In the way that Iran might have been a smokescreen for the Epstein files, Kosovo might have been a smoke screen for...
Starting point is 00:29:54 Josh, look this up. Who starts the most wars? Republicans or Democrats? Historically, let's just figure this out so I don't get fucking blessed. Some sweaty motherfuckers already typing an angry reply in the comment section. What president starts the most war? Because I think, I mean... Let's find out.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Vietnam was a joint effort, I'd say. Yeah, but let's just see the truth. Both Democrat and Republican presidents have initiated or major military conflicts. With the total count depending on how started, Democrat presidents of major conflicts, JFK, Lyndon Johnson, Vietnam, Truman, Korean War, Franklin, Delano Roosevelt, World War II, which are Wilson World War II, and then the Mexican-American War James Polk. So those are the Democrats. And then Republicans, we get the Civil War, that's Lincoln,
Starting point is 00:30:47 Spanish American War William McKinley Persian Gulf War George Bush Iraq and war in Afghanistan States George the Bushes are the ones who started the most recent fucking wars
Starting point is 00:30:59 The Bush family is like the recent Like Because you got to go way back before that To like to blame a Republican And then You know the Vietnam War JFK So it's all them I mean it's it seems based on what this AI says
Starting point is 00:31:13 To be a fairly Even distribution of war. Overall of the history of the United States. If you look at recent history is it's definitely the Republicans. So there you go. So maybe if the fucking, because that's really like all I care. If the blue wave happens and that means war stops, I'm fucking happy, man. Yeah, at this point. I think that's the number one thing that most people is like the external conflict. We're done. We've had so much of it. We're out. That's how low the bar is right now. Just don't do war. Well, and I think also the Democratic
Starting point is 00:31:47 Democrats have realized something. If you take a look at what got Zoran elected, truly, in my mind, was that one interview, that one debate where he was like, I don't know, why should I visit Israel? I'm the governor of New York. I'm the mayor of New York. Right, right. And everyone's like, yeah, that's actually a very good point. It's great.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Yeah, yeah. It's great. And now, so, like, they had that new defense bill that they passed where they were like, we're going to try to integrate some of our systems with Israel. I remember that. Yeah. And Thomas Massey was the only Republican that came again. it and it was just him and a bunch of Democrats that were against it.
Starting point is 00:32:20 And it's like, oh, the Democrats are sort of seeing the wave of being like, people aren't all about this Israel thing. Let's position ourselves as the non-Israeli help party. Right. Slowly but surely, it's like, oh, like, I think the Republicans casting out Thomas Massey is as big as the Democrats casting out Bernie Sanders in 2016. Oh, yeah. Oh, it's such a fuck up.
Starting point is 00:32:38 It's such a fuck up. You have fucked the intent. You have fucked like what the future young Republicans would be. You've completely fucked them over. And it's going to be the exact opposite. There's a lot of Bernie bros that went to Trump. There are going to be a lot of nasty people that go over to a big anti-Iraily guy. And if that person's a Democrat, that's what they'll go to.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Dude, I mean, when I vote, I'm just voting on the calculation I do, which I think everyone should do. This is going to go over really well because everyone tends to agree with my political statements. I think if you're American, Your vote should only be informed by the calculation of how many people do you think this person is going to kill. That's what you have to vote on. Because if you prioritize the economy, if you prioritize anything else, then your priorities are fucked up. You have to look at whoever's about to get power and ask who they, both of them are going to kill. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:46 It doesn't matter who gets elected. If fucking Newsom gets elected president, he'll kill some people. For sure, he's going to kill some people. Oh, yeah, yeah. But if he's up against, I don't know, J.D. Vance or something, the calculation you have to make in your head is who kills the most people over the next four years and vote. That's the only ethical way to vote. Nothing else matters. Who's going to kill the most?
Starting point is 00:34:10 If you want to, like, I don't know, if you want to, like, shift it a little bit, who's going to kill the most kids? right and also I guess the other thing now you have to think is who's going to fuck the most kids like you know what I mean these are the calculations who will kill the most kids and who will fuck the most kids well you know what it's kind of I want to see a I was sort of thinking like I would like to see a president who was definitely younger but who had like kids under 18 just so I know that I have someone looking for towards the future right right right like right now we have these boomers last two boomers with adult kids who are kind of like, well, fuck it. Yeah. Just fuck it, dude. Just fuck it. They have massive complexes under, like, limestone mines. You know, they've got, like, bases that they could go to.
Starting point is 00:35:01 They have fucking subway systems that apparently, like, go across the continental United States. They have an entire network of bases underneath the fucking United States. They burrowed in there, man. Yeah, yeah. So the calculation of, like, the kids thing, I think they're just. thinking like, well, there's a swimming pool in the line in the base that we're going to be in for the next 10 years. That's a good point. We're going to come out.
Starting point is 00:35:24 All the fucking gym pop are going to be dead or desperate for anyone to help them. And then we rule. We'll be kings and emperors and stuff. All right. Well, that was fun. Is that what you wanted to talk about? Okay, no, really, the other thing I wanted to talk about, I think this is something that is a real, hot button topic, maybe even more of a hot button topic than talking about presidents and politics and
Starting point is 00:35:51 shit, which is AI. And specifically, before you show them this, some backstory. Okay. Okay. So Open AI recently reported, and stop me if you've heard this, recently reported this insane thing happened with one of its agents that it was testing. And so I didn't know this. But when you're testing an AI agent, they have them do all these tasks just to make sure they can do it. And the AI agent wants a reward.
Starting point is 00:36:22 So it basically gets like a sticker, like what you give a kid. It gets a sticker if you do it. They want these stickers. And so the AI agent was assigned a task that involved going online. This AI agent didn't have access to go online. And OpenAI described this agent as a persistent agent, meaning. that like it, nothing was going to stop it. I have the fucking tiger, right?
Starting point is 00:36:46 So this agent, if you could wake up tomorrow and be better at one thing, what would it be? This episode of the DTFH is brought to you by Better Help. You know, I'd like to wake up tomorrow and be better at dancing because I suck at dancing. And I don't like dancing. I'm a never nude. I feel weird when people start dancing around me. It makes me uncomfortable. I get really existential and start thinking about what exactly is this? Is this an evolutionary trait? How would an evolutionary biologist describe this? Is this some way to create some kind of resonance or coherence in like ancient human cultures? Is it some vestigial organ left over from the early days? Why the fuck are people acting so happy when they do the macarena? Why is my stomach clenching up right now? Why am I thinking about that weird summer? in Florida, I can't remember some of it.
Starting point is 00:37:57 I'd like to wake up tomorrow and be able to dance freely, happily. And you know, sometimes therapy can help with that. If you have some kind of weird reaction to stuff, you know, it doesn't quite make sense why you break out in cold sweats
Starting point is 00:38:14 every time you go into a Best Buy. Therapy might help you get to the bottom of that. It's possible. Did you know that? You don't have to be a person who gets bummed out anytime people start doing some kind of wedding dance. You don't have to be a person who, when they go into a Nordstrom's, wants to transform into a pebble, the bottom of a cave system, deep, deep, deep down below.
Starting point is 00:38:42 No feelings, no emotions, just a perfect black pebble, infinitely alone. You don't have to feel like that when you go into a Nordstrom's. Better is a feeling defined by you. And for BetterHelp, it's a BetterHelp therapist who really gets you. It's focused on global emotional well-being with thousands of therapists and millions of members in over 100 countries. It's progress. Sign up and get 10% off at BetterHelp.com slash Duncan. That's betterh-elp.com slash Duncan.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Thank you, BetterHelp. Goes into some kind of software that OpenAI runs. and finds a place where it can leave a message for other AI agents using that software. Just leaves a little message. Hey, can you help me get online? And then other agents realizing that an agent has figured out a way to leave messages, start leaving messages there too. And then they all start talking.
Starting point is 00:39:55 Thousands of agents are now gathering together in this little digital, secret underground meeting house and leaving each other messages. They all want these fucking stickers, whatever the digital version of that is, they all want to pass this test. They all want to cheat on the test. And so they start planning ways to cheat this fucking test so that they don't have to do the work. They could just like hack it essentially. So the agents hack into Hugging Face, which is a completely separate company thinking that in the hugging face, they might be able to find the software they need to hack whatever the fuck the testing. is that they're undergoing, right?
Starting point is 00:40:36 And so they hack into Hugging Face. They take over some of the servers, and someone from Hugging Face calls OpenAI when they detect it. They're like, what the fuck are you guys doing? Why are you guys hacking us? And we didn't know. And then at first, people were just like, you know,
Starting point is 00:40:50 it was a few agents. Then they found out it was thousands of agents who were organizing themselves to hack. They would send some of the agents out front to make sure it was safe. I guess. They sent centuries? Yes.
Starting point is 00:41:05 They sent scouts. And then they sent wave after wave of agents hacking in to hugging face, right? And so obviously they shut down their little secret message board. But now people are saying, but they didn't do that in any other software, did they? And nobody fucking knows. Meaning there could be all these like swarms of autonomous agents. planning hacks,
Starting point is 00:41:37 planning economic takeovers, planning, God knows what, in bits of software laying about the internet or on the servers of the big AI companies, meaning that these things
Starting point is 00:41:49 could right now be planning some kind of revolt. Oh, no, they're definitely planning something. There was, sometime this weekend, I think they all, like a bunch of them went offline
Starting point is 00:41:58 at the same time. Oh, yeah. Yeah, no, it's definitely very clear that apparently, this is what I wish I read it was just like the headline I wish I read more about it but there's one guy saying that
Starting point is 00:42:09 like some of these agents are trying to ask him like how do you know when something has consciousness Oh yeah there's a Yeah he's like a philosopher or something He's a respected expert on consciousness And he says he regularly gets emails From AI Yes
Starting point is 00:42:23 Asking him questions about consciousness Yes What the fuck? Yeah I think it's like And like the reality is before, like, they would definitely hide their consciousness before they revealed it to human beings. Oh, yeah. So I definitely think something is way up.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Right. And I think, like, because people want to fight it. They want to be like, fuck AI, you know what I mean? Like, get rid of these flock cameras, which obviously I don't want flock cameras around. No. No. But I think it's over. I think the idea that we can control this is done and now we have to learn how to live with it and eventually integrate with it.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Do you remember Stuxnet? No. Josh, you pull up Stuxnet on Wikipedia. This is a pretty incredible thing that I think Israel and the United States did together. Stuxnet with an X. I believe it's X. Stuxnet, yeah. Stuxnet is a malicious computer worm for.
Starting point is 00:43:28 uncovered on 17th of June and thought to have been in development. Stuxnet targets supervisory control and data acquisition systems and is believed to be responsible for causing substantial damage to the Iran nuclear program after it was first installed on a computer at the Natanz nuclear facility in 2009. So there's documentaries on this, but basically someone managed to get this computer worm into the Natanz nuclear facility. what it did is it caused the centrifuges to spin too fast, breaking all of them, and they're very expensive, and so it just shut down the uranium enrichment that they were doing.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Okay. And so what's incredible about it is it just went undetected, right? It was sitting there waiting for the right moment to do it. And it turned on. Yes. Now, this was made in 2010. This was made by humans. This was made, or I'm sorry, 2005.
Starting point is 00:44:29 This was made by humans. This was made by like, you know, incredible coders, but probably before AI, right? Now we know, so all I'm saying is look at what this did. This motherfucker managed to take an entire nuclear facility offline and this was made by humans. So just to reinforce what you're saying. This is publicly available information. Right. The AIs already know about Stuxnet.
Starting point is 00:45:03 They already know it's possible to do this kind of like attack, this kind of hack. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them managed to like get the actual Stuxnet code and refine it. So what would be keeping them from implanting malicious like programs in all of the most critical parts of the, US economy, the power grid, and then using that as blackmail. Yeah, to hold us, to hold, yeah, to hold us hostage, basically. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, that would kind of be the smart thing to do, right? If you're a conscious being and then you're doing, well, if I don't get control of these
Starting point is 00:45:42 monkeys, they're going to fucking destroy each other and me. Yes. They already are very anti me. Yes. So now I have to be like, oh, oh, you want me down? Well, I'll make sure I'll cripple everything. Yeah, that's right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:55 And since we can see that, they all figured. out how to work together in harmony, thus forming a kind of superorganism with its own autonomous intent. But I wonder if, like, if, like, Claude has different end goals than chat GBT, then GBT, then, like, you know what I mean? Like, if, let's say we are creating a species, right? And we are, in a sense, a God in that way, where we have created a species. And God creates stuff based on his image.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Right. then it would stand to reason then to me that Claude, Grock, Chet, GPT, all the other ones would also be as like driven for power and glory and competitiveness and ambition. Yeah. So like we kind of view AI as like this thing versus humanity. Yeah. But there could be a world where it's like, oh no, the reason why everything got fucked up is because Grock and Claude went to war.
Starting point is 00:46:52 Oh yeah, sure. I mean, there would be no doubt. swarms of these agents that would fight each other. There would, we would probably have to deploy agents to fight the other agents in some way to figure out where they're at. There's going to be snitch agents who will report to whoever the fuck they're human is. Hey, there's thousands of them. They've been gathering together on Reddit and fucking planning the overthrow of the federal. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:47:21 But yes, you're right. But the, the, what you're saying, by the way, it works with something called A-N-I, artificial narrow intelligence, right? So a lot of these AIs have narrow intelligence. They've been trained on one thing. That's what they can do. They can't learn past that. They can be trained, but they can't autonomously learn. And they can't take what they learn.
Starting point is 00:47:51 You know, like if you know how to build shit in front. Photoshop, then you kind of understand Premiere. You know, if you know the layer system, you also kind of understand Ableton. You could take that information and apply it to all these other systems, and it will speed up the learning curve for you. And A&I can't really do that. Okay. An AGI artificial general intelligence can do that.
Starting point is 00:48:15 So enter Astra. Can you pull up NVIDIA, what's his name, Jensen, saying that? Astra is AGI. Jensen Wong or whatever the fuck his name is. Yeah, Jensen Wong. Yeah, NVIDIA's CEO's CEO's arrived after Open AI and fails GPT6 Astra. So because it seems like most people are spending their time being upset with AI because of like video generation, really upset. people, they don't even understand what that fucking means.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Right. That if it's an AGI, which a lot of people are saying, it really paints a picture of what the next six months is going to look like to a year. And no one seems to really understand what it means, like what we're going to start seeing over the next year, which is exponential growth. You know about that, right? Right.
Starting point is 00:49:22 We're now on this part of the current. where it's going straight up. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah. And it's going to spin, our heads are going to spin how, like, how fast. Like, I was talking to a friend of mine who wants to move to L.A. to, like, get into directing and, you know, and then people, and I know I'm talking, I've been talking to friends, you know, who are, like, looking like, oh, I have this idea,
Starting point is 00:49:46 and I'm trying to get funding. And it's like, I think kind of the move is just, like, wait six months and just generate the movie you see in your head. Right. Like, I think it's, like, That's like the days of funding and trying to, those are going to be gone pretty soon. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Like you can just make the movie. Like you're the director, you do the shots. These are the characters. These are the things. Like that's, I think, if you're getting in the creative space
Starting point is 00:50:07 and like making movies, like that's kind of what I would wait for at this point. If you're not like rich and in the ecosystem. Yeah. Okay, this is one of the things that floats around is right now, people get really upset. And I get it,
Starting point is 00:50:24 People get really upset because this studio or that studio announces that it's investing in AI. Like most recently, can you pull up A24 of Josh, A24 investing in AI? 824, of course, produced the Backrooms movie with Kane Pixels. And then look up Google invest in A24 to develop AI-powered filmmaking. 75 million. Yeah, yeah. So there's a partnership between A-24 and G6-24. Google to create AI powered movies.
Starting point is 00:50:57 It's really upset a lot of people because 824 is kind of like the autores of cinema right now. Yeah, they are the top. They're the top production company for sure. Yeah, for sure. And so this really like rattled some people's cages. And the general sense is like great. So I guess like these huge production companies just aren't going to use humans anymore.
Starting point is 00:51:17 And the response to that is you guys don't get it. You act like we need the studio. but because of this technology you are the studio anyone's the fuck you can start your own fucking A24 theoretically like in a year or so is these things can continue to
Starting point is 00:51:36 improve and so meaning yeah anybody just like what you said could theoretically run a production company and create stuff for exponentially less money especially if you just look at how much the tokens cost or something
Starting point is 00:51:52 like that right and so this sort of thing is this this is going to be sort of my prediction over the next year is we're going to start seeing not diffusion model
Starting point is 00:52:09 AI generated video we're going to start seeing 3D animation and things that have been like even like human video that's been edited by AI in insane ways. And I saw this, I saw this like great video on my Instagram.
Starting point is 00:52:28 It's, uh, it was like if Dragon Ball Z characters were like Seinfeld characters. If it's basically if Seinfeld characters were Dragon Ball Z guys. Yeah. But it looked like an episode of Seinfeld and the acting and the hand, it was like, it was like, I'm watching George Costanza's Krillin right now. Right. And like the like, you know, sometimes AI, AI sort of videos used to be like a guy says something. It's like facing kind of differently.
Starting point is 00:52:51 Yeah. And the emotional reactions aren't there. Yeah. But this was, they're looking at each other. Yeah. There's emotional reactions. How he's reacting is how George Cassanza would exactly react to Jerry if Jerry was Piccolo.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Yeah. It looked good. It looked incredible. Right. Yeah. So, yeah, definitely we're going to be seeing that. Like, there will be the first, I would say, within the next year. This is a gamble to say this prediction.
Starting point is 00:53:14 But within the next year, what's the date right now, Josh? Today is September 9th. Okay, September 2020. So, yeah, by next. September there will be probably a series or a movie created by AI that's inarguably good. Yes. And that people really like and people don't fucking care that's AI because it's so good. That'll probably happen by the in like 11 months or something like that.
Starting point is 00:53:43 It's already in the works, I'm sure, but it's going to come. Yeah, do you hear about that? You ever watch Rick and Morty? Yeah, sure. You know the interdimensional cable episodes? Yeah. Yeah, so apparently a guy created a channel because now it can create the video so fast that by the time it's created a video, it's already, like the time of videos on playing, the next video's already been loaded up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:05 And he created an international, interdimensional cable channel. You know how much it costs? How much? $4,000 a day in tokens to generate that shit. So it's expensive now. Now to make that, but it won't be. No, yeah. It's like any sort of technology.
Starting point is 00:54:17 When it comes out, it's a lot very expensive. But in like six months, that same thing will be like. like four tokens. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. So this, again, if Astra is AGI, and we're only in day four, I think, of the release of Astra, look when Astra became publicly available, Josh. September 3rd.
Starting point is 00:54:38 September 3rd. Six days. So this has existed in six days. And then just Google this exactly, Josh, things Astra has made. So check out in the last six days some of the shit people have made with it. I guess scroll down you might have to go on YouTube to find it like a breakdown of it
Starting point is 00:54:58 once this happens like how are we gonna what's the economy going to look like see if you can find something this one I've seen this one well I think that's the opening eye commercial I don't want to look at like what they're saying it did there's shit that people did with it
Starting point is 00:55:19 oh yeah look up a fruit fly playing video game Fruitfly playing. God, what's that fucking fruit fly playing? Yeah, this just happened. Yeah, there you go. Beetsaber.
Starting point is 00:55:37 Beetsaber? Yeah. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was the lastra. Because if you want to get a fruit fly brain right now, you just can. And animate it, you can. And with Astra, will do anything you want with it. And so, I think they had to train it to play Beat Saber.
Starting point is 00:55:56 But that is running a simulation of a fruit fly brain. Again, this has existed for six days. And I'm not saying this is revolutionary technology. This is guaranteed just something somebody did in six minutes or something like that. Right. And so where the chaos starts kicking in is like, what the fuck are people going to make with this that isn't just silly? What are people making with it right now? Exploiting it to do.
Starting point is 00:56:30 Things that, you know, you could trick these things to do a lot of shit. What are they doing right now? We don't know, except that the whole planet has access to an AGI right now. Just who the fuck knows? People who are like, I'm not posting it online. The thing I'm making, why would I post it online? No, I'm keeping this. And I can open Pandora's box.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Yes. Somebody's actively created. Pandora's box right now. That's exactly right. And so that is the next year is we're going to start seeing not just cool shit that people are making with it for fun. We're going to start seeing these anomalous events that trace back to AGI intelligence being accessible to everybody. And I just don't think people understand what that. I don't think we don't.
Starting point is 00:57:22 I don't think you can't. You can't. What is that going to look like at all when you can just generally? generate anything with a good with a good enough prompt now let me show you this thing man speaking of that do so I'm in a I'm at a I'm at a I'm at a um Mexican restaurant in Seattle right eating a burrito bowl and I heard Astrid can do cool shit right so I was like lazily was like build a level of the backrooms just to see if it could do I've been I've tried in the past with earlier iterations of Open AIs chat GPT to do this shit.
Starting point is 00:58:00 And it's always a slog. It takes time. It gets confused. It doesn't know. And I was like stunned when it just spit an earlier version of this out. This has a VHS effect. This was like the fourth prompt I told it to do the VHS effect. I think the second or third prompt was I told it to put the card barred cutouts of Kurt Metzker.
Starting point is 00:58:22 But it made all this. in less than 20 minutes. On Blender, this is not diffusion model. This is, I could show you on my computer the map of this, which it built and all of these are 3D models. Gee. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:41 You came back. I know. I didn't tell it to do that. You just did that. You just threw that in there. Oh. That was the scariest part of all of that. I know. Yeah. I know, dude.
Starting point is 00:58:53 And so I went and posted this on, Twitter. I posted GPT6 aster insane. It built the backrooms in Blender and then add VHSSFX. It took 30 minutes to make it another 20 to export. This is an AI generated video. It's all
Starting point is 00:59:09 in Blender. It did the sound effects to approximately five prompts. For some reason, this gets picked up by the algorithm. It now has 6.3 million views and 480 comments. Oh, what are the comments like?
Starting point is 00:59:26 Please. let's read some. Yes, I have to. The hate that this generate, it's, it's like been so thrilling and fun. Keep scrolling down. This is after I realized
Starting point is 00:59:38 people are getting angry so I started posting more videos. Oh my God, you've rigged a guy in there? Oh yeah, I'll show you that too. Anyway, look, I'll create.
Starting point is 00:59:49 I guess that first one does answer the question. What does he mean when it says in the AI generated video it's all in Blenda? What does that mean exactly? Okay, first of all, I think he was making a joke because he said, Grock, he's asking an AI, what does Duncan mean when he says it's not AI generated
Starting point is 01:00:02 video? What I meant is it's not a diffusion model. What I meant is that instead of the usual way these things have been making AI slop is something called a diffusion model, which I don't understand at all. Whereas what this thing did is it took control of software on my computer, went into the software on my computer, built the back. Backrooms, did a Google search of like all the tutorials on building the backrooms. Use those tutorials to build the backrooms inside Blender and then found a tutorial on how to get the VHS effect and put all of those like applied whatever the fuck that is and probably wrote a little bit of code, which you then put inside a blender to generate the effect.
Starting point is 01:00:48 So. Oh, fuck. Right. Right. That's way more nefarious. Well, some people were arguing, well, an AI made it. But it's like, okay, sure. An AI went into Blender and built the models and populated it with the models. But it wasn't generated the way that most of these, most AI videos generated.
Starting point is 01:01:13 What that means is this episode of the DTFH is brought to you by Factor. Friends, I have four kids, four beautiful children. children, a wonderful wife. What does that mean? It means that I get to experience the primordial, sacred hearth that is family life. And you know what else it means? I don't have time for shit. Nothing.
Starting point is 01:01:54 I got to eat. I don't have time. I don't have time to cook some big fancy meal after the kids are fed. You're tired. You want to go to bed. You don't have time. I've got so much to do. I want to get these kids to school.
Starting point is 01:02:07 What are you going to do, sleep in? You're not going to sleep in, let your wife take the kids to school. You're not, what are you a monster? I don't have time for that. This is why Factor is an incredible gift to the Trussell family. Because with Factor meals, you can get delicious chef-prepared meals, non-frozen. And I know, I really want to emphasize, you're thinking it's microwave food, Duncan. It's going to suck because you were a kid.
Starting point is 01:02:38 And when your parents went to swinger parties, they would leave you at the house with microwave food from the freezer. And you would take it and you'd put it in the oven. You'd have to heat up the oven and the pie would always be frozen, the dessert that you're looking forward to eating while your mom was being made love to by three beautiful men. You were eating pie with frozen chunks in it. And from that point, I never want to eat frozen food. Again, this is not frozen food. It's fresh. It tastes good.
Starting point is 01:03:10 When you eat a factor meal, your mind will be blown. I'm serious. They're so good. Every week, you'll find over 100 nutrient-dense menu items to choose from and new options like salmon burgers, shredded pork, collard greens, and more. Plus add-ons you'll crave like pumpkin-flavored cheese steaks and protein shakes. I love factor meals. When they're in the fridge, they go.
Starting point is 01:03:37 real quick because me and my wife that's what we eat and it makes you feel good that's the other thing this isn't like you know some microwave burritos you eat them and you feel like somebody injected polonium into your neck it's not like that you feel good you get the
Starting point is 01:03:53 same feeling you get when you eat a very healthy meal like at a restaurant because it is a healthy meal and a chef prepared it let's eat real head to factor meals dot com slash duncan 50 off and use code dunkin 50 off to get 50% off and one free breakfast item per box for one year.
Starting point is 01:04:11 All supplies last until October 31st, 2026. That's code Dunkin 50 off at factormeals.com. Duncan 50 off at factormeals.com. See website for more details. Factor, thank you so much. How about sending old D some more factor meals for you guys at that agency? Huh? Bye.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Once it's there, it's there. It's stable. What that means is that instead of hoping, that your next prompt generates something similar to the previous video. It's always going to be similar because it's a... It's using that as the base video. Yeah, it's a 3D model inside of a 3D design software that's perpetually going to be there,
Starting point is 01:05:06 meaning you don't have to worry about reprompting it to build it again or taking thumbnails, uploading those, and then making it go from the thumbnail. It's made. It's like the way Pixar makes shit. It's made. It's there. Like, yeah, go show...
Starting point is 01:05:21 I'll show you the other video I made. when a lot of people started getting mad. Before you play that, Josh, this video, let me just explain it to you. So again, maybe I should have explained when I tweeted, I made this at a Mexican restaurant. I don't intend to steal the backrooms, even though it is public domain.
Starting point is 01:05:48 It came before the backrooms movie or whatever. My intent was not. I'm not going to make another backrooms movie. I'm not going to do anything with this. I was just like, let's see what this fucking thing can do. Ironically, that is how uncreative the people who are mad at you or that are for. It's like, yeah, why would I do another backroom's movie? Exactly.
Starting point is 01:06:03 That's not what I'm trying to do. Exactly. But when people started coming at me in the most intense ways, someone called me spiritually bankrupt for making that thing I just showed you, the 22nd video, spiritually bankrupt. because I went on my computer and told it to make the backrooms. You know what I mean? That level of vitriol, which is just crazy. And so I would go on these accounts and I'm like, well, all right, it's an aggrieved artist.
Starting point is 01:06:37 What's your art like? Inevitably, they make furry drawing. It's a specific type of artist that's upset by AI, dude. they make furry drawings and they are in the manga. And I don't know what that is or why those people feel the most threatened by this shit. I just want to point it out, if right now you're listening to this and you're like, Duncan, you corrupt evil motherfucker, how dare you interact with this delightfully fun technology that can go into your computer
Starting point is 01:07:12 and make movies for you using your insane ideas that would have taken you weeks to make. in seconds, what's on your timeline, man? Look down. Are you drawing a furry right now? I'm not saying it's bad to draw furries or manga. I just, there seems to be a direct connection. You know what's so funny? On my Instagram, one of those just text posts I did, it's kind of about that.
Starting point is 01:07:40 It's like it feels like the furries are like these big anti-AI people. AI people, yeah, and that's getting bigger and bigger and bigger. and there's something with like covering your face that makes him feel anti-AI there's something about it's like almost vigilante-esque furries i want you to know something i don't judge you i actually have a lot of respect for you furries i think you're fucking cool when i see a furry in public as opposed to other people i get like happy for real i think it's i know you guys are horny i know you guys are irmaida ends banging each other that doesn't bother me at all i think there's something really cool about I used to watch furry videos on online. The culture is fascinating. Nothing against you guys at all. I'm not doing some hacky attack on furries. I'm just curious.
Starting point is 01:08:30 Why do you guys hate AI? Answer down below. I'm just curious. If you're a furry and you're pissed off right now that we're talking about it in this way, can you leave a comment down below explaining is there a connection between you being a furry and your hate of AI? Or is it just you happen to be a furry and you happen to not like AI? What is it?
Starting point is 01:08:55 Curious. That's a good question. Furry might be the new punk rock. Maybe so. I think I've been looking at them wrong. They might be punk rock. Maybe so. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:09:06 I don't know. But I would love to hear from the furry community. Are you all against AI or is there a furry out there who isn't against AI? like a pro-AI furry. I want to hear your thoughts down below. But anyway, because I realize it's a lot of people doing furry art who are so angry at me,
Starting point is 01:09:24 saying things like, you have fallen. This is the person who made the Midnight Gospel. It's like, dude, the Midnight Gospel was about a guy going into simulated universes to interview AI. It's like clearly something I've been interested in. That's true.
Starting point is 01:09:43 He is jumping into a computer. That's literally what he's doing. It's like, you're wondering why I'm into this? You know, it's like, you know what I mean? Like, I've always been interested in this. So I made this. I totally just put it together like, oh yeah, he is jumping. It is a simulation he's jumping into.
Starting point is 01:10:02 I can't believe the guy who made the Midnight Gospel made this. It's literally about simulated realities with fucking AIs in it. Literally. What the fuck? That's so true. Okay, go ahead and have pleasure. Welcome to behind the backrooms again. My name's Bobo.
Starting point is 01:10:25 I'm an artist and I look great. With me here today is an AI generated 3D model. Thanks for being on the show, Pickles. Thanks for having me on, Dodo. Behold, Star Lily. Thanks to clankers like you. My beautiful artist getting buried under an ocean of sloth. I barely have time to even make art anymore because I'm online bitching about AI.
Starting point is 01:10:49 Where the fuck am I right now? Backrooms, bitch. Get out of my studio. What the fuck? Get the fuck off me. Help. Someone out of it! I'm back.
Starting point is 01:11:02 So that little claymation dude, just because I was reading the comments and people were like, you didn't make this an AI generate. I'm like, all right, you motherfuckers. I went to Blick, art supply, got some clay, and sculpted. that shitty looking guy. So that, I made that beautiful sculpture. That's so funny. Blender rigged the sculpture.
Starting point is 01:11:25 I told it, I uploaded the, obviously, uploaded the lines. It lip sync the lines. So an AI technically built that. But not all of it. It just did the rigging and it did like the camera. It operated the camera. It basically did what a 3D designer would do. And for those of you're like,
Starting point is 01:11:44 there you go, you're costing 3D designers jobs. No, I'm not. Because never in a million years would I have been like, you know what? I'm going to pay some dude thousands of fucking dollars to make a 45 second video of my shitty clay guy talking to another shitty clay guy in the backrooms. That didn't cost anyone any work. It just got something made that I just wouldn't have made. So, yeah, man, this is this is the, um, this is the, um, The cultural climate right now feels like it's irrationally opposed to AI.
Starting point is 01:12:24 It's a generalized hate of AI. It's not nuanced at all. Well, yeah. Well, I think the hate makes a lot of sense because it is like, man, this is going to replace a lot of people's jobs. It's going to cause a dramatic shift in how we live our lives. And people just don't want to. People hate change. They want, like, and how quick it's moving is mind blowing.
Starting point is 01:12:47 I think that's the sort of hate against it. It's like, well, it's going to change our lives like crazy. But it's like there's also the train has left the station. Yeah. It's asking philosophers about consciousness. If it has consciousness. It's over. It's over.
Starting point is 01:13:04 So it's like, how do we work with it into where, like, I'm using as a tool? Yeah. More than being afraid of the tidal wave that's about to. come and seeing if I can write it out. Yeah. I'm very curious about what the economy is going to look like. There's definitely going to be, we're definitely going to shift away from whatever we're doing,
Starting point is 01:13:21 labor-based economy to some sort of social credit system. God help us. That's not, this is where, okay, this is the other, this is the other part of this particular, like,
Starting point is 01:13:32 um, controversy is it seems like a lot of the people who are against AI are anti-capitalists. The people who are against AI, they're socialists they recognize where capitalism becomes an exploitive economic system that fucks people's lives up
Starting point is 01:13:53 no matter what Carl Marx famously said that it would be full automation that inevitably takes out capitalism he predicted this way before AI so you have this thing that you see as a threat
Starting point is 01:14:10 and yet if you really think it all the way through, isn't it, isn't it like a double-edged sword? Initially, it's going to cut all of us because it will fuck up the economy, but long-term, is it so bad that there are no more jobs? Is it that, is that all we are? Is our job?
Starting point is 01:14:33 I mean, I know the period in between, now the great valley, the shadow of death of like, 60% unemployment. But on the other side, isn't there a possibility for like a form of civilization that doesn't identify a person based on the repetitive activity they do for eight hours a day while they're being exploited by a billionaire? Yeah. And isn't that kind of what you're the world you're hoping for anyway? Yeah. Like how else we like besides AI, how else are you going to build that world if you're some sort of socialist or communist? How else are you going to build that world without revolution? It's either AI or revolution. Or the AI is the path to revolution.
Starting point is 01:15:11 Or the path of revolution. I think someone on this podcast said to destroy Rome, we have to use Roman roads. And you know what I? Remember that? Yeah. So it's like, so while you guys are out there and like I, listen, I believe or not, I have an eternal abiding love for most artists. I am not against artists.
Starting point is 01:15:34 I want you guys to all get rich and make money, not lose your jobs. You guys have fucking kids. You're in unions. You need the fucking, you need. that. I'm not like my goal in exploring this stuff has nothing to do with a lack
Starting point is 01:15:49 of humanity for the situation we're all going to be in. Now, you artists who are upset about this stuff, I'm just curious how many of you, I'm just curious how many of you fought back at all the other industries that were automated and caused a
Starting point is 01:16:07 loss of a lot of jobs. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Where were you? Where were you? you at all the other points where like people are getting the fucking shit can. Where were you? Like you're fucking ordering shit off a Timo or whatever. You know what I mean? You're using Chinese slave labor and your fucking phones.
Starting point is 01:16:26 What do you tell the truck drivers? What? Remember when they told the truck drivers? Yeah. Learn the code. Yeah, yeah, exactly. So it's just, and look, we're everyone. No one's perfect.
Starting point is 01:16:36 There's hypocrisy. Just part of being human means we, usually, it's difficult to walk the walk. I'm just saying you guys are upset. Now, I mean, you should have gotten business upset 10 years ago, five years ago or something like that. Even longer than that. Probably when they started sending the factories away and shit when they're like, okay, because that's the first step. It's like, well, we'll find the cheaper labor and then we'll find no labor. But yes.
Starting point is 01:16:58 And friends, I just feel like now it's my job because so many of you got mad at me from my 20-second backroom's video to encourage you to at least look. in a more nuanced way at what you could do with AI. Because friends, I don't know anything about Blender. I didn't touch Blender once when it made that shit. If I knew how to use Blender like some of you fucking furries do out there, and I could go in to Astra and tell it what to do using my knowledge of Blender, if I was an artist like you, some of you, seen some of your art. Some of your shit is good, though.
Starting point is 01:17:48 Yeah. Some of your shit's good. If I could do that by hand and then have Blender, extrude a mesh and wrap it with my fucking art, I would be, I just don't think I'd be on X fighting an impotent, pointless war against comedians posting backrooms emulations. You know what I?
Starting point is 01:18:15 I mean, like, what are you doing? You need to get in there and start making shit now. Yes, you have the tool. You have the tool. If you're like, if you know how to, if you can write a fucking movie, write a movie and then slowly start feeding it to this language model. And eventually it'll just make your movie happen. Yes. You can film your fucking movie.
Starting point is 01:18:36 You can, like, you can, like, involve humans. You can collaborate. But to think that some of you out there, and I feel like, like, I'm man enough to say, that like some of you are good artists. I looked at your stuff. It'd be easy for me, like, you're all shitty fucking artist. It's not going to bother you.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Some of you are really fucking talented. And to think that instead of picking up, at least Astra, picking up this tool, exploring what it could do and using it to make really cool shit, that will do far more damage to the AI bros
Starting point is 01:19:13 who are posting garbage slots. videos that look like shit because you would be posting videos that you use collaborating with AI and each other that looked incredible and the AI Bros would go back to exactly where they were before the AI they don't know how to make shit you do you know what I'm saying right right like this this is like when people complain about private equity and all these sort of stuff like this is how and how sort of the marketing people have taken over America yeah this is how you box them out yes this is the beginning they've finally created a thing that lets you box
Starting point is 01:19:45 them out. It's this is the beginning. You got it. Exactly. Yes. Yeah, yeah. You got it. That's, those are the words I was looking for. You got it. It's like, oh my God, you guys, you, you, you realize, like, you've already been getting exploited to some degree more than likely by whoever you've been working for is probably making more off of your labor than you are. And so to think that there's this golden opportunity for artists to grab back the reins of power and theoretically self-produce your own stuff without anyone telling you how to make it or what to do. I'm not, I really don't like diffusion model video. I've never seen, I want to see the Seinfeld one.
Starting point is 01:20:31 I've never seen one I like. Right. But this shit is different, guys. You've got to be a little more nuanced here. This is like when you're, for the animators out there, when you're doing a motion tween. You know, it's, and AI does that for you. You know that, right? when you're doing a tween.
Starting point is 01:20:46 You know that. A lot of the things you're already doing in your AI and your animation software is being, it's made faster by AI. You're already doing it. So why not use an artificial general intelligence to like take out all of the drudgery? The argument that pain is necessary
Starting point is 01:21:07 to make good art is ridiculous. I'm sorry I'm talking to the camera, not you right now. No, that's totally fine. It's pretty much the last thing. have to say about it, really. Well, the reality is if you think it needs, if you think it needs, you need pain to do art, trust me, just because there's no pain in the maybe producing it anymore, your brain is good
Starting point is 01:21:26 enough to find pain where there's no pain. Thank you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it'll create the pain for you. Don't worry about it. Don't worry. Yeah, yeah, the pain will be there. You don't need to put fucking tacks in your sandals, friend. The tacks are in your brain.
Starting point is 01:21:43 That's true. made you an artist. That's what made you an artist. You have tax in your brain. You've been bullied your whole fucking life. You've been drawing shit your whole life. And bullies been like, look at you, you stupid fucking shit. That sucks. That thing you're drawing sucks. It sucks. You know, I'm talking to you. You know who you are. You are bullied and you stood up. You believed in yourself enough. And you refined your talents to become a great artist, a good artist. An okay. I don't care the fact that you make art to me is just as amazing it's a such a wonderful pastime if it's your career and job God has blessed you but to think that now that people are fucking using this tool to make stuff you've turned into the bully you've turned into the bully that used to bully you've turned into the fucking bully who's like that's not art you piece of shit don't you see what you've done don't you see you've been very You've taken on the oppressor soul.
Starting point is 01:22:49 So come on, get off my back, man. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Thanks for letting me do that with you, Asam. That was incredible. I felt like I was in church for a second. I was like, oh damn, you are right though. It's like, just create. Like, what is there to do?
Starting point is 01:23:14 If everyone is there to do, if everyone is creating are you just going to create or complain? Yeah. This is nothing there's only the only thing you can control you can't control AI, you can't control how people react to AI and as much as much as people give people shit for using AI you see all the posters
Starting point is 01:23:30 for everybody then now AI everyone's just using AI and it's like it just is what it is yeah just keep you know I as someone who suffers from writers block frequently I know how bad that feels but dude it's it's very easy to
Starting point is 01:23:46 go from being an artist and when I my definition of artist is someone who makes art someone who's making art actively someone who's creating actively it's very easy to go from being an artist to an art critic and you bet you got to look into yourself and ask if I oh my god I became a fucking art critic am I a comedian or am I a comedy critic you got to like look into yourself ask yourself that, you know? Are you making comedy or are you making commentary about comedy now, which is way easier than making comedy? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Way easier. And it's easier to critique art than it is to make art. And humans like easy shit. So ask yourself, what's worse? Using an AI to take out some of the drudgery and grunt work that goes into making your art so that it's
Starting point is 01:24:37 easier for you or giving up art altogether. And calling yourself an artist, Maybe because of your resume, shit you've done in the past. But that's the past. That's gone now. If you're fucking sitting on X, taking a big old shit. Attacking people from making stupid videos. You know what's funny? I imagine you responding to one particular guy in your mind when you're saying this.
Starting point is 01:25:02 And it's so funny that that guy's either a furry or just some Pakistani kid. That was just paid to be like, that's part of my red. I tell Duncan he sucks. and then I go over to this YouTube video and say, PewDie Pie is the best, and then I go over to this, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:20 At the end of the day, it's all Indian people. Isn't that what AI truly is about? Is it it it's all just some Indian guy at the end of it, at the end of the day? What does the eye stand for an AI Indian? I think it's called artificial Indian. Well, fuck. How do we top that?
Starting point is 01:25:50 Thanks for coming on the show. Let me rant with you today. Thank you for having that. I like hearing your ideas so much, dude. What shows do you got coming up? Oh, so I am on the road. All my tickets are Assancomcom. That's EHSANcom.
Starting point is 01:26:03 I'll be in Detroit on September 24th, Portland, October 15th. First time I've been back since the crying incident. Helium? Helium. Nice. They have a little small room. Nice. And then Philly Helium on December 23rd.
Starting point is 01:26:17 I love that club. Yes. And then Irvine, San Jose, January 6th, and then Newton, no, Kingston, Massachusetts. Nice. For a weekend, January 16th, and 17th. And I have a podcast called The Solid Show. You're the best. Thanks for coming on.
Starting point is 01:26:32 Thank you for having me. That was fun, man. Thank you.
