Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, night, night, night, night, night, night. Nice, test, test. Night to everybody. Welcome to this week's brick talk. And this is the early warm as usual, just trying to sort out the zone and everything. Make sure that everybody is good to go. Then I can you hear me? Shay, can you hear me?
Starting point is 00:07:17 Yeah, I can hear you. Can you hear me? Load and clear, bro. Yeah, man, I can hear you load and clear, but I expect. Excellent. I suspect that there might be an issue still. So just hold one second. So we don't have any problems once we start the actual broadcast.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Both are you hearing me? I'm hearing you. And one step left. One sec for me. Just make sure everybody can hear. All right. Try on one more time. You guys can still hear me, right?
Starting point is 00:08:35 Can I still hear me fine? Oh, yeah. Yep, yep, yep. Perfect. I still think that maybe, maybe not. But we'll see when we get started. No, we won't see when we get started. Sorry about this, guys. As always, I sort of invite to anybody wanted to do a very early talk in the very early one.
Starting point is 00:09:06 This is your chance. You send a speaking request early and you get a chance to talk. Maybe we hear some early points before we get going fully. All right, let me see if this. is working on the lesson i can just work with it as is you guys will hear me right how you doing shay how you doing danai how's the week then what good nice a good good good news are off me all day day a week wish you wish ended move it to today nice long weekend instead yeah yeah i wouldn't mind that either why thanks a week up this morning feeling very sunday or
Starting point is 00:10:32 actually i thought it was sunday and then i gota i think the my money jay i there for say market so um. Um the way they might forget them. Whoops. We got my money, J. Wake up,
Starting point is 00:10:48 big up, big up, indeed. They mark the Lord has helped me out all the time where ours are like then I
Starting point is 00:10:54 must have surprised me a lot of times so you get them and in you see the oh yes today's a market day like
Starting point is 00:11:02 then I just say R to this two o'clock there's almost two o'clock or last out the last over one gets me a lot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Funny thing about those alerts, you know, because you can turn them off. You don't have to have them. But I find, like, I find that there's a type of investor that that, that likes it, especially that last OA alert, that sort of thing. Obviously, I guess it's the more,
Starting point is 00:11:27 let's say, maybe more hands-on investors. Mm-hmm. And maybe more hands-on investors that, that like them. active in the market. Yeah, actual active investors and the ones who are becoming actual active investors. I definitely want to have a great conversation,
Starting point is 00:11:52 but I can tell that we're going to have an issue if and when we start talking space. I don't want to have people on YouTube or anything like that having an issue, you know? Some issues are not. Exactly, and that's exactly what I can tell it's going to happen. So we can hear each other.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Fine. No people on Twitter are fine, but I know what happens the second I am going live yeah so I'm holding off so hey this is the opportunity for anybody still anybody who want get them pointing quick and early before them start the Friday drinking you send a speaker request and it gives me five minutes and us know that there are time to saw this out Tj H close that that's funny what's that oh that TJs close that at I was that but it's the funny part for me is that it's sharp as the 12 but it's a close you know like watching the clothes but then you know how if you're trading if you're kind of trading during the day then
Starting point is 00:13:08 and so it's the new today isn't the 12 day but the clothes I I there's a flash of how much a close matter to a lot of people because we pay attention to other things that people are looking at the snapshot all right I look at the market end of the day and that's the price and that's that's all the prices meanwhile for us are we're are we're traded though because the close can be the close but 12 means that it had enough could be he could have traded 12 enough during the day you know and there's a lot in that oh yeah it's the same thing randy was saying when he was going to the top 10 uh advances for the month and that and he was saying yo just look at that you miss so much
Starting point is 00:13:56 useful yes very useful but 12 11 was the day was the trading day before
Starting point is 00:14:06 so is he is he that he didn't see 1211 or is it he saw 12 11 and he wishes it didn't close
Starting point is 00:14:12 lower yeah the thing I was doing oh well I think I don't think he's like I don't know
Starting point is 00:14:20 I know I've seen I've seen what you've seen about transse before so I wonder if
Starting point is 00:14:25 he's paying attention to it. I was wondering what the thought is. My initial thought is he's seen 12 and thinking, oh, you know, that's really good. Which is, this is not saying not to anybody or whatever, but just what exactly
Starting point is 00:14:39 I also know how his exact thought is seen the 12 versus me guessing or exactly he's thinking. Yeah, I mean, I'd love I mean, if he joined, that'd be great, but I'll assume because I've seen him tweet about it every single day for the last few days.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Yeah, I think it's just, I think it's, it's, um, excitement. Yeah. And I'll say, that's my initial thought, you know, but the trading day before is 12th 11, so it's down since then. So I don't know if, so the last two casar from him about this was him talking about maybe it at 11 something. So, so to the both of your points just know, I think it also helps with the I don't say segregation or segregating, but it tells you the kind of like different, it tells you where different kind of investors. Yeah, and where they are in their, their whole
Starting point is 00:15:35 investment journey. So the people who just look at the close price, I like that the people who hear about stocks or what's happening in the market or the about on the news or from a friend. So to them, the close price is the oil trace report that they hear about exactly. They hear about the most. Oh, in James report. Yeah. Orange is a price is a close. That's the price for it for people. It's, oh, it closed at this. Yeah, that's a price.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Correct. I can tell you, I can clients call into brokers. And they look, they look heavily at the close. And so they're trying to trade at the close price. So that's just I hear someone surprised if you get more than the close price sometimes. Yeah. Oh, wait. They have a put in an order for 12 and I've had it for 12. 13. How?
Starting point is 00:16:24 or a shock that he happened for them. So I've seen that one of that. Yeah. And the flip side of that, too. I've seen that and the flip side of that is, like I've avoided even the flip side of that because of what I think it does with, how'd I put it?
Starting point is 00:16:58 What I think it does with, what I think it does with setting people up to have the wrong expectations. So you imagine somebody like that and like they bought it at 1115 or they bought it at 1145 and it closed at 12. So they immediately realize that, oh, you can buy it in the day and end in profit. You can end the day in profit. But like as we know, that's a bit more experience. Like many profitable moves that I've done.
Starting point is 00:17:33 I'm sure both of you have done. The first day you bite, you're probably going to end at a loss. it is what it is right Randy I want to thank you for saying that so many times like earlier in my investment journey you used to say it all the
Starting point is 00:17:49 time and it has been very very useful I have to say the crime for when you go in you're probably going to yeah yeah you're probably going to go down a little
Starting point is 00:18:04 on day one and it's you'd be surprised amount of people that, you're not surprised. That's a reason you say that. That's exactly why I say that. That's a lot of people who it twists them up.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Yeah. Like what you're down immediately. 2%, 1% head gone. And you can even be stronger than that, by the way, people. Yeah. Yeah. So I always think about it
Starting point is 00:18:32 because I always remember it because it happens so often. Yes. It's almost the the default expected way. Yeah, like, yeah. Because you used to say it so much, then it wasn't. A surprise.
Starting point is 00:18:48 It didn't affect me negatively. It didn't stop me from going in, you know. It just, it just seemed like a part of it. Yeah, you know, that's one of the, that's one of my biggest, um, one of my biggest, you know, what I say, worry. Not my biggest. want to be in profit the whole way, man. Say that again?
Starting point is 00:19:10 People want to be in profit for the whole time. That's true. At any point before they get to their price, they are not panic. Yeah, yeah. You want to be... What's happening? Is something happening to thing there?
Starting point is 00:19:24 Well, I know. And the hard thing sometimes is there's no real difference sometimes between, again, three months in, we're going for a play, three months in on that play you're down it's not saying
Starting point is 00:19:42 it doesn't actually tell you for the next three months whether you're going to end in a loss or a profit and that is not the determinant point where you decide oh so it's hard it's hard because then imagine me two different plays and telling a client
Starting point is 00:19:57 yo I believe no because I don't think it's going to work out anymore or stay during the bad because we still expecting the good. They're not seeing that difference because they don't really know where the determination comes from.
Starting point is 00:20:14 So they're reacting on that. Okay. I see what you're saying. That's actually something that makes a difference for them. So six months journey and three months in, you're down. It doesn't say that that's not making any determination
Starting point is 00:20:28 at the end of the six months whether this place is working out or not. So most times you're going to be down for someone. Sometimes you're up. At some point, you're probably going to be done. I think that the people who, because of course I know, Danai,
Starting point is 00:20:51 I know you have different kinds of clients and some will come and say, just tell me what if you do. Others will have a real discussion about, okay, so what do you expect to see or whatever? bleeding up to whatever and and get the and get the markers that they need to be looking out for but I know some people just don't want to hear it
Starting point is 00:21:14 they just want then I tell them do this. Or can I tell them, so can you tell them the thing, but the thing that they were here the thing I was looking for was sometimes I feel like people are even more with them by you're like I know I just want to hear the thing you know
Starting point is 00:21:30 so you're telling me all this and the explain this. that and that is not actually it's not, it's to their mind, it's not actually anybody, but it's not something they want to retain, something they want to think about. So, yeah, I mean, I have to tell them some level of what we're doing, why we're doing.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Yeah. Or why we're doing, what we're doing. But I know, I'll get that question. I can tell how often I get. So why are doing this? What are the thing we're looking on for this thing again? Mm-hmm. But if you know those things,
Starting point is 00:22:02 so my point is, if you know what you're looking for, it's less disturbing when it dips under where you bought because, yeah, we're still await on this and it does it look like
Starting point is 00:22:15 it's not going to happen this thing that we're waiting to see to determine if we're on track or whatever. Are we seeing the thing? Are we seeing? Yeah, we're still seeing it so why don't...
Starting point is 00:22:27 We're still seeing what we're waiting for so we're on track. You're still expecting a good example because i i have a good amount of people they got a great price for where it is now but when it dipped it was i i i had to be no we buy no definitely buy more because yeah yeah yeah yeah because it dip i i i think about that because i remember the reactions i saw in the grow group and randy say when it dip oh yeah man i'm definitely getting some more because yeah you get to 80 yeah man so much at 80 yeah and the contrasts everybody else is
Starting point is 00:23:03 Yo, we're good. And I even know, what I think about that as well is during the sessions for a lot of those, I said, the thing we're looking for, and I explained that this dipping with the presence of that, especially where we are in the process, no, this dipping, it only gets better, right? As long as the naves goes up on whatever. Exactly. It's still happening. Oh, we're still on.
Starting point is 00:23:30 We're 100%. This thing falling is a better deal. Yeah, we're 100% still on. Yeah. But like you said, I guess people, I get that too. I don't want to hear what happens behind the scenes. I don't care. I just want to know that the thing is working and I don't care how.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Yep, yep. But knowing what you're looking for is actually, you know, comfort. in those moments. It's hard to impart that. Because I can imagine no. They don't want to hear the website, right? So imagine no when I say, when I explain why I'm explaining,
Starting point is 00:24:15 it's a, all right, cool my boss. Tell me what I for do. All right. I want to hear all of that. But what we're saying now? That's one of the biggest threats, though, you know, to everything,
Starting point is 00:24:31 because people want there. It's like Trans-Semakers. know, even with all of this, as happy as time for everybody, it's, I see, is a reminder of why I put out the effort to have people, I can't remind them like, they are asking, what, what do you think is happening? Like, why do you think it's all? You know, I'm happy you make $8 million. Why?
Starting point is 00:24:56 How have you made it? What's behind it? Especially the people that speak definitively about it. Because what I want you to remember is that, oh, I don't. don't really know, right? It's like, well, I won the lotto. You are not an expert at picking lottery numbers. You just won the lotto.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Wait again next week. Yeah, man. So, yeah, unless you can buy the lotto and win again tomorrow and next week and next month deliberately, you're not an expert at it. And that's not a knock what you've done. But it's to have you just kind of, just take a bubble out of the, take a moment out of the bubble of excitement to go, yo. oh yeah i don't really know what's actually happening here you know it's like somebody walk up to you
Starting point is 00:25:38 and give you 20 million u.s you're the man of course of course i should do it and say it's because you're a great person yeah yeah yo remember that you don't really know why they give you 20 million us go straight to the bank and logic right go straight to the bank and logic you don't really know right now right here's my uh the joke you say you are going to bank with me bro yeah oh yeah To my call police. So why you're asking me. Swiftness. I get you, I don't tell nobody to you.
Starting point is 00:26:09 A man on the road does come give me because I'm a good person. What? What? Oh, man. I'll tell you guys a story afterwards. Oh, God. That is, that is what are the reality. So it's weird.
Starting point is 00:26:24 Well, I try to, I try to head it off. I try to head it off in, in smaller areas. in like, in things like that, like repeating some of those things. You know, in my brain how it is for me to repeat it all the time? Like, oh, annoying this is to repeat all the time. It is really rough to repeat all the time. But when I hear like what Shea say, I realize that it makes sense. Like, it helps somebody.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Because that's a point. I want people to remember because a lot of times do you're not going to remember it. One after repeat it like 40 times before you remember it. And even you hear me say all the time, Jesus Christ, How many times, during times, people time they say, yo, I hear you say Titan 9, I never remember it until I was in the situation. Then I remember, oh, this is the thing, this is it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:11 This is the thing. Like, this Trans-Gamerican situation again, a lot of it is me. There are people out there who I'm hoping that they remember, like what I just said, like, yo, remember that you have no idea why this is happening. It's all just calm down. Yeah, you'll check your account. You see more money.
Starting point is 00:27:29 that you ever expect. You have no idea why it's happening. And you need to incorporate that in your mood. Think of how easily because people don't constantly have that healing, have that reminder to themselves, have anybody reminding them. They then, think of how easily people tell us the reasons Transform Maker is moving. Who! Oh, new leg.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Oh, it's a great company and highway most collect revenue because, you know, everybody use it every single day. Oh, like all these reasons that that love to do you don't. But it sounds good. I also don't know if that if people get that. That's why at least I'm Mike is like
Starting point is 00:28:15 why I do the pushback on those things. Because, yeah, it's a good sounding reason. And if you say it in almost every circle, everybody's going to nod and smile. You're going to say it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, man, that makes sense. And that's good if you want to feel good in that. circle. But for me, I valid a person who comes up to you and we supposed to say, yo, you have no idea why they just gave you that 20 million. Catch it now. Cash it
Starting point is 00:28:40 no, or seek to understand why. And the truth is, seek to understand why, no matter home, it's going to take some time. You don't want to take forever, but you're going to take some time. Cash it now. Right? Cash it no because you don't know. If it matters to you, cash some might do something we didn't know because every other circle that's going to nod and smile and when you're saying the thing that is a quote-unquote wrong thing if everybody agrees on the wrong thing it's still the wrong thing and then when when it turns upside down if it was legal somebody else is going to come with another made up none I won't say nonsense call but maybe not applicable reason
Starting point is 00:29:22 and everybody's going to oh yeah yeah man this is happening because that is boy the big boys are cashing out blah blah blah and that doesn't help anybody it give you nice talking and nice feeling on the way up and and nice talking and commiseration on the way down but there was a way that you could have cashed out some of that money or kept someone that money for yourself and more importantly there's a way to know what's actually happening and then suddenly the whole thing stops being cashed pot and lot so it starts being a repeatable sensible process that you can yeah, you can predict. Yeah, but the way to do it, I've found is to just remind some people like,
Starting point is 00:30:03 yeah, feel good is nice, but yo, just try, at least for me, I just try and stop the mindless agreeing. And I don't always know where to draw the line because, like, I show, I sure, you know, sometimes you have to let people keep certain illusions. You can't shut out of all of the illusions immediately. Yeah, you don't want to be the asshole Who is Gotta in there
Starting point is 00:30:29 Yeah, you don't want to be shattered it I've learned I've learned at the hard way You don't want to shatter people's illusions Aggressively immediately They'll hate you for You know They'll hate you for removing the way For the eyes
Starting point is 00:30:45 Kill them Yeah Yeah Be Buffy's evergreen now bro yeah yeah yeah yeah also in friends and influence people his favorite book not not not is that there's one of them there's exactly that oh you you don't get anything
Starting point is 00:31:11 often by hey if you are somebody disagree you're not changing their mind by just getting outright out in their face and oh i disagree or i can if you prove somebody wrong they're very often the opposites were going up i'm going to double down and because I're in a disagreement mode now I'm going to push back even though it proved me wrong it becomes an argument rather than approve
Starting point is 00:31:35 yeah there's no learning there's no learning happening yep they're not hearing you anymore yep yeah you think you're doing somebody a favor by okay
Starting point is 00:31:49 I'm here you say something and I'm going to tell you oh I know better I know the right thing and you could have right a little more bossy. But even in therapy, you're in an argument now. Even in like my work, people will say, well, why you never just tell me if it are, why you never just?
Starting point is 00:32:08 I'm like, yo, if I told you that, that, that, that, if I at that time said, such and such and such, how would you have taken it? You know, or it wouldn't have gone well. And then they're like, oh, yeah, true. I couldn't. I couldn't have heard you. at that time or if you had approached me that way. So yeah, on a real thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Yo. I mean, I see that we think that I'll have a client that love us talk to death, bro. And now I'm the bad guy. If I say, boy, you know, people, yeah, just because they gave themselves all the, all the grates. I mean, I, I remember a heart heavily. Transfer Maker before a transfer maker was a great. great thing. You couldn't convince people, bro. It couldn't, it was twofold, twofold. You couldn't convince people to get it. So somebody tells you all the things that
Starting point is 00:33:14 sound like a great transfer maker thing there, but no. Somebody tells, coming to you, and they have a goal that sounds like a great long-term goal in 2020. Mm-hmm. All right, cool, but I bought transfer maker IPOs down and I sold it. I'm not buying it back. out of them about and the tail of government and da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Everyone knows know what's a chance, bro. Mm-hmm. Or the... I don't agree now, Tom.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Yeah. That means, sure, the people that had short-term goals in 2020, and they had transfer maker. It's... Go ahead. I'm going to actually load out. The former is, yeah, you couldn't continue to buy a chance to make a chance of a in 2020. If they're so, if I got an IPO or something,
Starting point is 00:34:09 you know how people get when they'll find divorce a stock. I don't know what you mean? I must bite back. So there are people who, yeah, you can't tell them. Why that? No. Or even to the level, you have people that they made a play on a stock,
Starting point is 00:34:28 made some money. And when they sell now, it's, okay, we're looking for a new play. It's not, there's no conversation. We must buy that back. We already got every, it's a spend shell, but you already get everything and want to it. I don't want to want. Well, going back to that,
Starting point is 00:34:44 let's find something new. What if you don't need to? Yeah. And I think that heavily, and you're in the out-staffolded where you know you jump out of something because you reach or you want to reach on it. But then you just, you look immediately,
Starting point is 00:35:02 it goes up and you realize, oh, there's a different, there's another play because something, you hear something, something, some other news come out, or just you take a second look and you realize, oh, there's another play here. Yeah. Should I buy it back for more than I just sold it for? 100%.
Starting point is 00:35:17 We do it all the time. We know that. No, no people. Yes. I cannot tell people that she. It is not something they will listen to. It's true. But that's why I always talk about my constant buying and selling of T.J.H. as well,
Starting point is 00:35:31 because I've been buying it for a while. I've also been selling it for a while. You know, so, and if you look at my, my transactions, it's not always below where at itself. Exactly. In fact, a lot of the times, it's above where it's a lot of times. Yep, very often. Think of things that, us coming and say it other day when it was at nine something, hitting the nines, and then it looked at far as we're all saying we sell it.
Starting point is 00:36:04 And I said, boy, I'm looking better for a doctor's sell. So I've sold. I know you and Randy had the same thought as me. Why would I? And after we see it move and we do it or no, buy some more. Buy some more money from me. Yeah. I mean, because why would I know?
Starting point is 00:36:29 10. I said that 9 something. I'll buy it back at 10. Yeah. Yeah, man. So I know it's uncomfortable, but also I think it also has to do with the whole thing that I always bring it to where people don't think they can do it again.
Starting point is 00:36:57 They really don't think they can find another one to do it again or even do it again with the same stock. So, may that if me sell my TJH right now, where am I going to make profit like that again? Isn't that thing there, though? I think that, that idea is really helpful what people don't understand. In the sense of it works heavily with it. I don't know why I made money in Transcendamaker. Good point. I sound really educated. I sound. down really like I was doing something with a lot of thoughts when I when I told you okay I bought a check make at five dollars and it's at twelve dollars now of course I was
Starting point is 00:37:49 making this great decision and when I was buying that five dollars I knew the journey in front of us and you know I'm I did all the right things and anything I explained on the back of us makes it if if if you told me at five dollars boys I'm going to do this in this amount of time and you're right about it you don't necessarily have the problem of boy if i leave transfer maker i know where to find profit versus i bought some i want some truncher makeup because it was true because you know all these other reasons so yeah i don't have it worked out as you say we're not knocking that that's that's good yeah so i think a lot of times when people don't want to let let go to don't want to sell us
Starting point is 00:38:38 well is they don't think they can do it again. Oh, definitely. I make all this money. And at the back of any play, it's our next play. But where are we find that one? I walk the right road and buckups end up in the right position. Yes, sir. So scary.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Very scary. Very, very scary. And going back to the first point about how like people see it some people see like I see it and we your example
Starting point is 00:39:17 I caught somebody I caught somebody with like people can receive some things at the right unless you hit them I don't want to say the right time but there's definitely a wrong time to give them the right insight and the way as well just how yeah just
Starting point is 00:39:34 yes yeah and and realistically you know like i've learned like the way sometimes is it takes a lot of effort if like i'm not able to give that kind of effort all the time like a human to like 100 percent they had to train me to do that so yeah it hard sometimes well it hard it hard it had sometimes it had because and like twitter i find twitter is obviously like my social means of choice that is one that I see the most but I mean Twitter no it's not Twitter even three years ago or five years ago right so there's almost always this opposition or the thing and I'm not not naturally I am like I grew I grew up my family everything it's somebody's an idea and you don't think of it as an attack to
Starting point is 00:40:30 pressure that idea to get the person to look at it differently right you get me and then also and I learned I had to learn this that people don't do so that I was saying people don't do the back and forth to learn like they hold on to the ideas even more and if you if you make it proveably wrong mm-hmm but where the thing to me is that people still hold on to the provably wrong thing and attack you or they'll resent you for making and let go up the provably wrong thing many such cases on the show oh my god yeah yeah yeah yeah oftentimes it's like you know people So this show creates a different sort of space because, well, it's my show.
Starting point is 00:41:13 I'm not going to have people say things that are provably incorrect because everybody listens to it. It's on the internet. Even after we've done the conversation, people listen to, most people listen to the show after we've done the show, right? And you have people who, like, they're just, like, the, Trans-Sameca is at 12. I know how much we like that. know happier for that like i i know how deeply happy i am for that but i also know the reality of
Starting point is 00:41:42 it i worry about like a disappointment if it go back to 10 when it go back to 10 right um mind sharp you know it was exciting last week yeah yes sir getting to 10 was exciting last week and a week before but if it go back to getting back to yeah man i think all the people who bought it at 12 and it's down to 10 now jesus christ and I'm thinking about how good asset investors those people could be if they don't just fall into the trap up it's not lotters not cash pot right it goes up it goes down if you notice i'd even like to say that it actually push myself up to not today it goes up share price is a magic it's not magic it's not a live thing on its own it don't go far down and and if you're using the
Starting point is 00:42:34 share price to predict the movement of the share price you are you are you are you're that's like looking at the, I don't know, it's like looking at your car to predict what the weather is going to be tomorrow. Yeah, but whenever it rains, my car gets wet. Yeah, but you can't look at your car to determine what it's going. Yeah, but what you're saying? Every car is wet and it sounds so sensible unless you actually understand the thing that you know that it makes no sense. And so, yeah, I don't know how. So one thing I'm hoping to do with today's episode is to talk about it, not just Transamerica, but money on the market.
Starting point is 00:43:07 with the perspective of the people in mind who haven't gone even two steps down the road there and there's a lot of them like as refresh my memory about just how powerful trans-Germakers is in terms of the market i'll just use today as an example today the second most traded stock was careras legendary careers right 200 and odd trades the number one most traded stock was trans jamaica 2000-something trades, like orders of magnitude, you know, outside of it, orders and magnitude of a difference in terms of the activity and the people involved. So I said that to say, like when Trans-Gamacca is up, I want most people to know about it because it affects the most people. But I also want them to be prepared for when it goes down to understand that that's how it works. It's not not bad happening.
Starting point is 00:44:06 It's not nobody chopping you, nobody obbear you. It's not the big man them trying to trick you. There is not, it's not, it's not manipulation. Transjamaica is literally the most difficult security on the market to do any quote-unquote manipulation with. And two, what most people think manipulation is, it's not what manipulation is. It's not there.
Starting point is 00:44:32 That's how manipulation works. It's not like that. And so I want people to know it while wearing the bubbly Transjanicayaker period because it will at some point, even if it stays in the bubbly period, right? It will, if it doesn't fall, it will plateau. And how human beings are, you know? 12 is exciting to get to. 15 is exciting to get to 2 months at 15.
Starting point is 00:44:56 It's what's happening with Transjamaica? Six months at 15. What's happening with Transjamaica? That's the reality. And I know that, I know that better than most because I teach a thing every single month and I have done it every single month for years. I know the questions that beginners ask. I know the questions. We hear on the show, some of the things that beginners talk about. I actively talk to people about stocks. I know the things that them actually ask. And like, I know the importance of having them understand where they are
Starting point is 00:45:26 now. And just, just trying to wrap up the early one and give you guys just also the proper intro to it is that also like I saw people talking about making the most money that they ever have than they ever have before no and I'm happy to hear that but I want them I don't have a fancy way to say
Starting point is 00:45:47 you put let's say you did try the IPO and you put 300 grand in the IPO what was the IPO price $1.44? $41. I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:46:03 I don't remember. Let's let's see. What? I was wondering, I was just trying to I was just trying to 144 or 141. 141. 141.
Starting point is 00:46:18 All right. So let's see you bought in the IPO 141, you put in 300 grand, right? And let's say you got it on. You got the whole 300 grand or, yeah, you have 200,000 shares at 141. at 141. You are now looking at $3.6 million. So you put so far, I think more, I think about the person who put 300 grand in it because maybe them did miss week ton and they heard about marketing for Transamerica was pretty heavy. And they put their 300 grand in and they probably never even look at it again until maybe 2021 when it was down
Starting point is 00:46:58 2020 was down 2021 it was down 22 it was down nobody not very happy no I do nothing I probably don't look at it again until no only to find out
Starting point is 00:47:08 that your 300 grand is no 3.6 million like I'm thinking of that person very much because he's excited no and a lot of people they think wait I need sorry
Starting point is 00:47:23 well say say say because maybe you were no I just as you were speaking I just remember that dude I was talking to who said he bought careers in like COVID times and he hasn't checked back.
Starting point is 00:47:36 Oh yeah. I love talking about. He doesn't even know how to check. I asked about dividends and he didn't know what I was talking about. Oh, wow. Oh my,
Starting point is 00:47:42 I need to follow up with him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love to talk to us people. Yeah, man. I love the surprise rich. Like,
Starting point is 00:47:48 like they don't know how rich are. We've had it even on the show. Yeah. I'm sure Dana has had a few. I've sent people to Danai with it. I talk to people where like, it's like, it's almost like I giving them a gift.
Starting point is 00:47:59 I need to go ask you. Yeah. I remember talking to a lady and she's saying she have the liquor GK from years ago it's not much like if you have 100,000 units
Starting point is 00:48:10 not a long time she'll have it what you're saying to me she has it from maybe from when from maybe the 90s early 2000s and that's the only time she'd like she have 200,000
Starting point is 00:48:23 or 100,000 something like that but let's say 50,000 shares so I was just a picture, she was saying like let's say 50,000 and like two minutes to the conversation I ask her wait 50,000 what I said 50,000 shares? I said oh not $50,000 it's not a 50,000 share that from like 2000, 2000 and one. Wow. Do you really know how much you have? Like what? Just a joy of having her check or just put in my money JAA, just put in the date, just go my money
Starting point is 00:48:59 go to the portfolio portfolio. Click on GK put in the 50,000 and put in the date when you want it and the price date click save
Starting point is 00:49:09 and then look at what it tells you that the current value is. This man never even known about dividends so there's not just the shares you know
Starting point is 00:49:18 but this it was like dividends yeah man because there's two things that are another early point two things around
Starting point is 00:49:29 One, eventually you can lose them and two, they change the law, I think, to shorten the amount of time before the company to take it back. So it used to be, don't quote me on this way. I want to say it used to be like 12 years. I know to shorten the time down. I don't remember what it is, but pretty much like if you don't get your, if you don't get the dividends, it's still years, maybe seven years, but or three or whatever. If you don't take the dividends in that time, if you don't know, you never call it the check or the check company, yeah, that's green with it up or that this post stuff. or that this post office, or at the old address, they take it back after a certain amount of years.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Oh, that I remember. Yeah, I can follow up with that. Because it was really just in passing. Wow, yeah, please. It's my favor. Make me surprise and see how it is. All right. Right.
Starting point is 00:50:19 The technology is still giving me a warm time. It literally just won't click in. But I, having planned, some amount of it. I do have a slight workaround. So I am hoping that I'm hoping that my workaround works and go ahead and do I'm going to test the work around literally right now in five seconds and then I'm going to just go directly into us officially starting and thanks for Brittany, who's been waiting patiently. I'll just, I'll do the intro and then we'll jump straight to her.
Starting point is 00:51:04 And of course, for anybody else listening, if you want to talk to us, or anything you want to ask about good, bad, ugly, simple question and not so simple question. Send a speaking request and we'll start it out. So please don't be shy to do that and take the opportunity, please, because nobody else is giving you quite as good an opportunity like this, um quite as high quality and opportunity like this so please please please take opportunity uh as i said i just want to make sure that this works and then we're good i don't know why
Starting point is 00:51:42 every week every week uncle musk try something new boy every week is something else and the thing like i can't test a live thing without going live right so I'm going to try to find you, no? I trust me. I hope this is working. I think this is working. I hope it's working. And we'll find out because I'll just go live.
Starting point is 00:52:20 I'll do the intro and no. So welcome everybody to me starting over in two seconds. Welcome everybody to this week's, Brick Talk, those of you who are on Twitter would have been hearing us a little earlier, the interview to the early one, I'm getting some of the kinks out of the way in terms of the tech, and those are you who are just joining us. Now, if you're watching or listening in the future, hi, welcome. This is this week's Brick Talk on that topic, financial independence, right?
Starting point is 00:52:51 Right after Independence Day in Jamaica, financial independence. And I thought it would be a great topic for us to talk about this week, considering that a lot of people, are a lot closer to financial independence thanks to a couple of stocks, Chief Among which is Trans-Germaker. So as always, I'll be host Randy and you'll hear from the co-host and anybody else who want to join in a moment. But as always, I'll start off by telling everybody that we are not giving out financial
Starting point is 00:53:22 advice on this show. Yes, we talk about stocks. Yes, we talk about investments. We talk about what we do, what we will do, what we won't do, what we might do. And other people do the same, but don't take anything that's set on the show. show as investment advice, good but our ugly don't take us investment advice, right? And then he's on a license investment advisor on the show and while he's on the show, he's not acting as an investment advisor, right? We're just three people who really like
Starting point is 00:53:43 investing, like the market, love Jamaica and we want to, yeah, help as many people as we can. So with that said, welcome to the financial independence episode. And also, we encourage you if you're listening live to join in. Send us speaking, request, talk to us. We love to hear from you guys. There's always something we can help you with. We love the pushback. You don't have to agree with us. You don't have to know all the things. You don't have to be on top of it. And I assure you that I know that there's somebody listening or watching now who has something that they wonder, they want to know or wants us to talk about. And we want to hear from you, right? Trust me. You're not too low in knowledge to talk
Starting point is 00:54:25 to us or talk about this. You know a lot more than you know by the day, right? you know a whole lot more than you might think you know and uh yeah we just we really want to hear from you so send a speaking request i would love to hear from you we'd love to talk about the market anything you want to talk about or tell us blah blah blah ask us and yeah that's the intro i think i've said enough so we do have somebody who did send a speaking request very very quickly and and has been waiting patiently and i keep saying the prattani that is her name car travel with Brittany Brittany. Prittany underscore. How are you doing, Pritani?
Starting point is 00:55:03 Hey guys, I'm doing good. I really wanted to talk to you guys tonight. Hi, Dan, what's up? Yeah, what you wanted to talk to us? What's the thing that you wanted to talk to us about? So, Trans-Jameco is very interesting this week. It really showed, like, especially today, it showed a lot of people panic selling.
Starting point is 00:55:25 And for the persons who got in on that, big up themselves because I saw a lot of people wishing it would go down to a certain price and I wonder if they put in the queue or putting the queue the order that they wanted it to go down to because it did go to 10-9-8. I saw it when I went to 10-98 and I was like, thank God I'm come out. But I had plans for what I wanted to decide. I never jumped back in immediately. I planned to. But it's like there are so many people that were saying I can't wait for it to drop and I wonder if they got in when it dropped. That's one of the things that I was thinking about.
Starting point is 00:56:00 But one of the things I think I got from Transjamaica, I love the chatter that was happening on Twitter. And for everybody who was saying, then can't wait to buy, it really let me like self-reflect to all the times I wish. I said that I wish I had bought, and I said the price is skyrocket to what it is now. So everybody who said they wish I'd had bought Transjomeca,
Starting point is 00:56:24 they literally helped me out with, my investment my investment strategies hope that yeah I love that so you say a bunch of things
Starting point is 00:56:36 there oh sorry continue oh okay no you can go ahead you can go ahead so you said a bunch of things
Starting point is 00:56:43 you say you know one you saw a lot of the selling today and you said panic selling yeah what you guys think you guys agree shade and I
Starting point is 00:56:52 what you think a lot of panic selling today when it did the deep I have to go check back what the trading looked like exactly
Starting point is 00:57:02 it did look away I I saw it I didn't look at it like that I just find interesting it did close below
Starting point is 00:57:10 the last trading week it was 30 so it 12 11 before 12 and 12 for that today
Starting point is 00:57:18 so today I remember that's price specific because of I was like literally like refreshed my thing to see where it is now and i saw it at 10.99 so that mean persons were like just selling trying to get rid because they thought maybe it would just
Starting point is 00:57:36 drop to i don't know you uh i wouldn't say means that okay that's thing it's hard it's very often hard to get up and say why so especially some of my trees like this that oh why that person did that thing you know you can the best thing often i the best thing i've the best thing i'm compatible with saying is that it is that a trade happened not why it's happened very often I don't know why that person thing because 1285 so I think about 9 o'clock I'm a trade happened at 9 o'clock a lot yeah 700 what yeah yeah but bro there's nothing else there's nothing else even close like I said 2,000 500 trades up in a nanocococ yeah which is indicative of a lot, right?
Starting point is 00:58:31 Or can be indicative of a whole lot? Continent, I just try to... Yeah, so I'm scrolling to Britain to Britain is 10.98. Mm-hmm. Yeah, the thing is, yeah, it's hard for me to tell you that that's why. But there's an author trade, so the other trade happened at 9 o'clock. And then the trades, the trees after that, all of them were lower than that. So it seems that it peaked up in at 9.
Starting point is 00:58:56 Yeah. 155 was the most was the highest thing. It was the highest trade today, right? And then almost, so yes, it was falling a lot after that. So I can see why it says that funny. So basically that's like trade high. Then it then it's falling. So you think some people came in and say, all right,
Starting point is 00:59:18 I want to get up before it's, it's falling further. That's idea. Yeah, that's what I think happened. I mean, obviously it's going down. 1210 no 1201 then it goes into the 11s yeah yes it was higher than it oh yeah i mean i get why you say that yeah yeah so 941 after that's a 40 minutes ago it was straight at 1285 peaking and that 941 is 10 it's 3rd at 1098 and then the rest of the day it went back up there are no 12s in a by queue you talking about specifically at what time?
Starting point is 01:00:04 I don't know. At the end of the day, at the end of the day, okay. So it goes from 1285 to 10, 9 to 8, then back up to 12. 12 is, and then they're done. So I guess I get why you'd say it's panic selling. Is it panicking? I don't know. I still don't know, especially in something like a transformer.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Yeah. Why do you think, why you think panicking? This could be the plan working. as it needs to. Yeah. What are you thinking panicking, Brittany? I don't know. I think based on the chateau that I'm seeing or the other persons are seeing, it's too good
Starting point is 01:00:48 to be true kind of thing. Like, oh, it goes from this price. And as I said, this is just speculation of what I think. People are thinking. Of course, of course. But it's too good to be true. From $10, from maybe $9 last month, up to $12, almost 13. $13 how far can this go I want to hurry and get out before yeah I'm gonna get my
Starting point is 01:01:11 profit and that's what I think happened it's like man I got catch this and that's what I think really happened during that period right there but I have faith that it will go up to a price that I think it will go to and as I said think I I honestly, I don't. I'd say 30. That's my price that I'm working. You said 30 or 30? Yeah, 30.
Starting point is 01:01:47 And obviously not something that's going to happen this year or next year or maybe. It's something that I'm seeing in the future. I don't know that it's obvious. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. How do you know that's obvious. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:03 why you talk about you thought down your dream um no it's just that i have something in the you know plans so my plans are okay to wait a little while kind of thing so it's okay i'm i'm willing to wait but i know it's gonna come man plans uh man plans god laughs yeah yeah hopefully my love your plan doesn't make something else the same he's happy with us you know back to um going back to 30 why why you say they're not this year not next year um as i said i'm a speculative um honestly when i invest and then i probably knows it i i just do things for the most part i don't have a reason behind it i just do it and honestly that's not the best way to go into things um especially investing and don't think you're being truthful
Starting point is 01:03:03 there. So you give me reasons when I spoke. I don't think you were bad reasons. Yeah, but they're not good enough reasons. They're not research stuff. There's not, they're not stuff that I looked into like, say, okay, I saw, um, annual reports and this was referred. I don't, I don't know those stuff. Have you, have you done grow? No, I haven't. I'm going to definitely do that for sure. And you guys have helped me enough money. You definitely should do grow up. No, Sam. What I'm saying that is, I say that is because, um, it's because I think after you've done grow, you have a different, you'll have an understanding at least what, at least I, I, and I, I know Danay and me, you know, we talk about research. That's not to say that, you know, oh, I saw this in the,
Starting point is 01:03:48 you know, the audits and blah, blah, blah, in the notes. Not to say that you can do that. Obviously I can do that, but it, you will be very, very surprised. You, you heard last week, You heard last week when Ryan was on? I didn't join last week. Yeah, but you heard it? I know, I didn't get to listen. Okay. If you do, it's a great episode.
Starting point is 01:04:11 I mean, like I retweeted and spoke about the last always almost all Trans-Gamaica and stuff, right? I thought the whole episode was great. The first part, though, the very first part, there's this wonderful conversation with Ryan. and he was talking a lot about, he was going into Dolphin Covent Covent and sharing some of his research. I ask you about that because I want, if you,
Starting point is 01:04:37 you are more than capable of research. I don't think you're not capable. What you think research is. Yes. Probably not what it is, right? No, not, but the people who do what you think of as research, you know, the high level,
Starting point is 01:04:52 blah, blah, blah. 99% of them aren't very good in the market nor is their research very effective or useful. Are that just okay? Or relevant. Or relevant.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Just read the reports it doesn't go very far. Correct. Yeah. And I'll be doing it because they think that's that thing. I can tell you the numbers back based on what I read in a report.
Starting point is 01:05:20 It doesn't make any extra money. if any at all. Knowing what the profit is or something, that's that. If you put it, if I put it in a real way, just a real example of it.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Like right now, I think Transjaneca is at $12. All right. So far this year, for the last three months, it has gone up 74%. Right? And from the start of this year to know,
Starting point is 01:05:47 it has gone up 160.3%. The real question, I think 99% of people want to know right now is, is it going to keep going up? If it's going up more, how much it's going to go up to? The people who don't own it are thinking, yo, should I buy it or is it too late? The people who do own it are thinking, yo, is it too late or should I sell? The people who own it are concerned, should I buy more? the people who own a lot of it are thinking,
Starting point is 01:06:25 this is so great, I want to have me sell like a piece. They're also thinking, should I sell a lot? You see those questions? Those are the real questions. All of us, yeah, night, night. Hold on, on. I have your own, but just hold on. Those questions, I think, are the real questions that most people
Starting point is 01:06:42 actually want to get an answer to. Those are the questions that are mostly people are actually thinking. Those are the questions that people act on. if then I and she lay out something tonight that's that that that you know Donald Trump have a plan he's going to come to Jamaica with his bombers and he's going to bomb the for the southernmost highway in the island if that were to actually if we were to if you were to if you were to if I were to show you something like that and it's going to happen next month you would be a lot sure of the fact that that
Starting point is 01:07:15 highway is going to be destroyed and you go well you'll sell it no So you suddenly have a lot more surety around why it is that you want to act and what the act is that you want to do. That is what most people want. Nothing in the annual report. I shouldn't say nothing. Very few things are going to speak very directly to the things that you really want to know. And so I find that the most value in research is around the things that answer the questions are healthy to answer the questions that you really want to know. not to sound good to anybody, not to win a competition,
Starting point is 01:07:51 not to look good on TV or on YouTube or whatever and shake hands and sound like the top. You actually want to know what to do with your money. You want to know what's the best thing for your money. You want to know what's going to help you to make more money. You want to know what's going to help you to protect the money that you've already made. Those real questions, you are perfectly capable of answering on your own. Once you can read that and how I say it is if you can go shove and come back with the right change,
Starting point is 01:08:17 you can do it. And you don't need to be an expert. Most of my energy is spent around helping people to get past the idea of thinking that you need to be some high-level expert because you already are a high-level expert. You just think that you don't know this stuff. And the people who think that the crazy things
Starting point is 01:08:37 that the people who think that they know it are sometimes the worse because they are the people who want it to sound high-level. So you have to know, you have to know this. You usually get from, you know, the 4xb, people, no knock to anybody, the Forex people, oh God, the crypto people, you know, the high level finance people and they have a lot of knowledge they do, but how many of them are actually rich? Look on that. How many of them are actually rich? How many of them actually
Starting point is 01:09:04 make money? How many of them sound like the people who very fireably have money and talk about it? I know, again, no knock to anybody, but look on, well, look, look, well, look on maybe your favorite finance person on Twitter's tweets, whoever that is, and compared to maybe Chris Berry's tweet. No, unless your favorite finance person is Chris Berry, which some people it is, it might be a very different class of tweets. Yet I think almost there are very few people on Jamaica Twitter, if you will, who have anywhere near the money that Chris Berry has and touches, right? And again, think about the different class of tweets, the reality of what it is.
Starting point is 01:10:02 And of course, to end it with a plug, if you come grow up, you'll see how we'll put all of that together. Because, again, you know more than enough. So I don't want you to be beating up yourself, oh, you know, but I don't have any great reason for what you do. Most people don't move based on great reasons. That's true. Okay, fair enough, fair enough. So I definitely go into the girl before the year finished, for sure. Yeah, you tell me that already still.
Starting point is 01:10:34 I now hold on my breath, but I also know like people don't appreciate it until they appreciate it. but just you're not to hold for money now so cash out some i claim that i claim that for real i claim that um i want it to be true they're manifesting yeah i'm manifesting it too um i see a lot of persons too um on twitter we're seeing like all right everybody talking about trans jamaica what else is happening and i i don't remember when i first saw the tweet and then i looked and i saw lasco and i think i tweeted about it too but lasco has been doing good since August 4 the price
Starting point is 01:11:14 I have it up no the change in price was like 4.69% I think the day before was like 10% the share price last price last price yeah which one of the last
Starting point is 01:11:28 there was a L-S-D L-A-S-D Oh last distributes distributize oh it was the other one okay last the year which one were you talking about shea last m the better lasso and it's heavy volumes too and i mean
Starting point is 01:11:52 i guess the hype kind of thing and everything but i understand what persons were seeing as well like what else is out there that persons aren't really looking at that is moving so that's one of the things I picked up on that that is one of the reasons I also did this tonight because I know I think I kind of touched on it early if you're listening if you if you're not on YouTube or one of the video platforms if you're here in the space before you're been talking about it one of the things I think one knows that a lot of people have made a lot of money and they don't they don't really if they're honest with themselves they don't really know why they've made a lot of money they don't
Starting point is 01:12:35 know how they've made out of money but they have right they like I said, 300,000 Transjamaica at IPO is now 3.6 million today. So if you still live in your regular life and, you know, 100 grand is a lot of money for you, 300 grand is a lot of money for you, and you suddenly have 3.6 million or you have something worth 3.6 million. It's natural to think about that. And I know people have a lot more than that, right? I know there are people who have a lot more than that.
Starting point is 01:13:04 And they also don't know. You're not, I wouldn't say you're a fund manager. Not only are you not a fund manager or outside their own funds. Like you don't, I don't know what to go into it. It is a different skill. Right. The movement of money, the managerate of money thing is a different skill, even your own money. Even you've heard us talk on the show.
Starting point is 01:13:32 you hear she talk about you or dan i thought about you and me talk about it the difference in what you have to do when as you were investing larger amounts of money or you find yourself a large amount of money and i didn't this is to add into your point prittany when you get let's say you have that surprise money i say five 10 15 20 million whatever right right right run you get it one second are you running another big money girl you should it's time yeah i could call it okay tangent Mark. I'm sorry. Thank you for your
Starting point is 01:14:05 remind me about it. Maybe I should. The next the next advance grotto is short, is short term investing. I do in a series and I paused it last one for Scotia.
Starting point is 01:14:15 I'm doing another. This month is actually focused on the circuit breaker, which is ever changing, never changing circuit breaker rule and how to navigate it and how you can use it to your own benefit.
Starting point is 01:14:29 Anyway, back to the point. The I think you're not the point out of my head while I'm going to say. I'm so sorry. It's fine. What was I saying before? There's a specific thing.
Starting point is 01:14:43 Oh, yeah, as you manage different levels of money, you finance it says suddenly with a large amount of money and you don't have the experience in managing it. Right now it's in Trans-Jamaica shares. Oh, whatever, it could be in Carrera shares. It could be a bunch of things. It could be something that you just, because of the noise their own stocks now, you took a lot.
Starting point is 01:15:01 Maybe you go, my money, J-A., you did the connecting, the beauty. one of the things that we did to work on the Connect plugin is that it allow people to just click, you click three time and it loading all your portfolio and you can see how much your actual money is, how much your actual portfolio is that even the shares that you don't look at in the last 20 years, where you will accurately tell you how much it's worth right now. What about this 10, 15, 20 years ago? The platform will tell you how much it's worth right now, how much your dividends should be, blah, blah, blah. So maybe you just took a look at something and you're realizing, oh, wow, I have a lot more than I thought I did.
Starting point is 01:15:40 You get some surprise money. Somebody they don't leave you some shares or whatever. Whatever the situation may be, you know, looking at a large amount of money that you never expect. And maybe you want to keep in stocks. And that's how you come around to that point that you may pretend you like, yo, what else is out there? What's the next trans-Jamaica? What's the next? What else should I put it in?
Starting point is 01:16:03 what could I put it in? Like those expectations, I think is a major, major, major thing. Like, what the next thing? And if you're not in it. Hey, Randy. Yes. Here and I. Yes, I am JJ.
Starting point is 01:16:19 All right. So, been a listen to your show for the longest. Listen, two minutes more now because I don't think I want you to get the, I want us to be able to concentrate. All right. Go ahead. But yeah, man, no problem. But we're so far down the point that I didn't even remember to with the pretony, bottom line is.
Starting point is 01:16:42 All right. You have, you have, you have, you have, you have that point about what else is there. You mentioned last D. And you say it's doing good from August 1, which, which is to say it's been doing, it's a week now. That's just a share price you're talking about. But you are mentioning it as an alternative. to maybe trans-genital.
Starting point is 01:17:07 Not necessarily an alternative, but like, as I said, I saw somebody say, like, what else is there? Apart from Trans-Damaica during the period, well, this week. And I saw a little movement in that it's not something that really ever looked on as a stock. But I was like, okay, there's actually movement apart from Transj Jamaica, or a good amount of movement apart from Transjamaica on the market. Of course. Definitely. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 01:17:41 Yeah, yeah, from the start of the year till now, from the start of the year till today, there's lots of securities that have moved up. That's why I love that thing that you do at the end of the month or the end of the quarter. And you see a bunch of stocks that you weren't not looking at. And how much they're up by. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:18:01 Transyl-O-Maker isn't even the number one right now, and it hasn't been all year. I know Yeah Yo right now JetCon has given more profit than I'm Transamerica Yeah I think I sell my
Starting point is 01:18:20 I know what I may have sold some Transamerican Not trans See it's in my brain Transamerica I may have so Don't look at JetCon
Starting point is 01:18:28 Cheers Goet is getting to Right Oh my God Oh my God You know Yeah But what
Starting point is 01:18:37 What Pretari i like that point you know you can stick around you don't have to leave your seat but i wanted um super villain j jay park j parkinson yes i am here man so you would have said something earlier night night again so you would have said something earlier that a lot of person have some money where it's like them don't also manage it right so that kind of that me fall into that so situation there as it's time because when Transjumakers at IPO I went in with 300,000 because a young lady said something to me I made feel bad and when I when the government
Starting point is 01:19:24 compensation wrapped up I would have put in another about two million or a million that I have a million transdemeanor yes yeah so I have a million transdreamaker share Congrats my brother. Nice. To be honest, the thing about it, you know, if I even put in a sell order, I can't sell it. You can. You can. You can't.
Starting point is 01:19:51 Why? Why do you think you can sell it? Why do you think you can sell it? Okay. So it is like my little baby. It is the first that I ever purchase. A sentimental basis, you cannot sell it. And I was, when I was doing it, like,
Starting point is 01:20:09 like me not up to know if you know have this amount of money in it me not understand investing like it like that and I don't want to know nothing more about investing oh you don't want to know so the thing about yeah and I gonna give you the reason why I don't want to know nothing about nothing more about yeah go true and so it it was my first talk and me to buy with the intention say all right no just go and buy that something when I time I retire, I look funny. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:43 All right. So, I listen to Peter Lynch. Yeah, Trans Jamaica. So I would have listened to Peter Lynch and I would have purchased his book. He's a boring company,
Starting point is 01:20:55 nothing excited. And even a part in the book allude to the fact that, like, doctors and lawyers not really do as good as some person, as the average man as it relates to investing.
Starting point is 01:21:09 It hasn't been my experience, but I know Peterlin. It's one of my favorite, one of my favorite investors. So, even the part in the book, so this is my notion about it now. I travel to Kingston and I have to pay that to the year. Yes, one. Just all I'm pan that start there and collect my dividend and call it back my money. Straight up. So I understand my portfolio now.
Starting point is 01:21:33 When we go send to Lisb, I see the wind, the wind turbine them, I just buy that. Barretta is my brokerage house, I just buy that. Robert Levy is my neighbor, I just buy that. What you say? Yeah. You just buy the JDG? Yeah, but where I can't say, nothing more about that one.
Starting point is 01:22:05 We'd have to talk half years related to that one. Because some major thing in the pipeline for bring it back. Bring back what you mean? Bring back what you mean? Bring back what? No, I can't say. I can't say nothing more. No, well, I'm asking. When you say bring back, are you talking about the company?
Starting point is 01:22:28 Are you talking about the share price? The share price. Yeah, me can't say nothing more, my neighbor. You're talking about the share price. Yeah, me can't say nothing more. I'm hearing you say that, but you're in my area, you're in my area. Exactly. It is, so.
Starting point is 01:22:46 I don't think you understand. I think you know what he's asking a per se. Yeah, I realize he doesn't. I realize he doesn't. But go through. No, no, no, no, no, far and go true. And so what else, my one? Yeah, I have NCB because, you know, my colleague, he's the grandfather.
Starting point is 01:23:06 So I'm, they catch a small amount of it. when they did they do the all-time low and but me they have some from before so my average are like i think my average is 41 in ncb as it's done now sold careers which was a mistake i sold at 23 that was a mistake was a mistake uh because i couldn't wait because we never need the money the money and i did you buy something i have sage a core yeah you put the money now we're then i question then i may be far you far from your microphone oh yeah sorry i'll do it also yeah sorry ask him again i don't think you heard you and did you buy something yeah so yeah i put the money in wigtown to get more shares so why is that
Starting point is 01:23:59 but we still average like about 80 to because we got in kind of deep but we have time we have time on my hands to to wait to wait just to see why was that mistake so so i'm No, because like, you know, the emotional factors where you're investing like, missy, my see career has gone to like $33 now. I mean, I said, we could I'm probably waiting until $30,000, but you cannot predict the market. When you sold it at 20, you can predict the market. Don't ever say that, you can.
Starting point is 01:24:35 But, but you can't predict the market. That's where you like Peter Lynch, right? You wouldn't respect him otherwise. Yeah, Peter Lynch is good at. But here the next thing. No, no, no, without my jump. Don't go, don't please. There's so much people that start a conversation
Starting point is 01:24:52 and then don't and finish it. Yeah. There's a reason you respect the people you respect. It's a reason you read Peter Lynch's book, right? Yeah, yes. If he wasn't good at it, he wouldn't care about him. So what do you think is that Peter Lynch does? He's predicting the market.
Starting point is 01:25:13 if he was Yeah, I sell it 10 back at him. He does buck up on a workout, then he wouldn't be up any notes versus, okay, you know this guy is consistently doing something. He's consistently making profit. That's pretty pretty in the market.
Starting point is 01:25:30 Yeah, well, if you want to look at it like that. But here's the thing. I mean, you, here's the thing about I think here is outside of a lens that you, I think we'll last. Here's one of the next thing. All right. So here's one of the next thing where most of the program,
Starting point is 01:25:51 and I listen to, where most people really bring into cars like or only bring into cars. This thing ain't a racket sense, you know. You just like just find few great companies, like if you use them, product and just invest in it. You want to put a little bit more into it than that. Yeah, then that does that because if you are sure that you don't want to, then that's not the worst way. Suppose you're supposed to you use G-West medical facilities somewhat regularly. Mm-hmm. Would that be a good reason to buy G-U-S?
Starting point is 01:26:33 Well, I wouldn't want to use that facility though, to be honest. Why? That means seven to sick. No, yeah, sure. No, I don't want to go to the doctor. Nobody wants to be sick, sure, but if it's the case that you happen to be in a position, would you say G-West clients should just buy G-G-S? No, well, for me personally, for me personally never really caught my attention.
Starting point is 01:27:02 I know where it is and not being there. But that's not a question I'm asking. That never really caught my attention. Are you guys hearing me? But how often? Yeah, but lightly. Likely. Okay, I turn the mic and see.
Starting point is 01:27:18 Oh, go on. Yeah, yeah. Sorry. Yeah, we're here better now. Super villain. Go ahead. All right, hold us so. All right.
Starting point is 01:27:26 Yeah, better. The thing about it is that, you know, how often would I use GOS? Not very often. Yeah, I'm not talking more you know. I'm not talking about you. But others. When you see the issue,
Starting point is 01:27:45 do you see, I think you're highlighting here the difference of what I'm saying. There's a difference between GUS. Yeah. Just use it, being a GUS customer and being a, and looking at transverse. make a customer base and saying, oh, something is good there. Right?
Starting point is 01:27:59 Yeah. Yeah, I mean, get why they're saying. So what would that look like then in the face of what you were saying before? All right, just using it. I think that's a poor qualification for just buying some, buying shares, just because you use this, you, just on the base of, oh, I use it similar. You know, me can't like last go, that's the food drink. And then I find out, say, well, I,
Starting point is 01:28:24 people are real bite like that you know you don't really like that's good food drink anymore that they've used to but i like it that would then not do that doesn't make it down to the bite yeah so well well guess what that is really my principle when we use and it worked for me so me i'll look at it like that does it yeah because chan jimaker work for me is up no not profit in a week down are you still working on yeah but i no longer i no longer wickedly yes and everybody in jama i don't the church of kfc you're on jamaica as me say you understand that one now everybody does something don't really mean that it's a justification what i know i can't say about that one all right but i know a lot that i can say
Starting point is 01:29:18 about it um and i know something i can't say about it cool but But since we are saying things, I will say things so people can hear. We know that there's allegedly, not allegedly. The company has said that there's some fraud. They haven't given the details that I would like. They haven't given the details that I think are required in the moment. But even before the fraud, not like JBG's share price was astronomical growing or anything. The company has been well, better and better.
Starting point is 01:29:53 It doesn't mean like the share price wasn't. doing better and better and people are eating chicken then before the frog you don't want to make the mistake of of thinking that i go outside and it's raining now i go outside tomorrow at nine o'clock and it's raining then it's like oh it's always raining no right yeah because remember remember no you know more than one in NCB when i time i was like down probably about 30 to probably 25 percent in a NCB i was done like 1.5 million and never panic percentage of what time period uh when when when it did trade down to about 20 that is that's a a while ago she she was talking about that on the so it's that reason so i hope that's not the
Starting point is 01:30:57 method that you're using for this i like what you say i want to be clear i like what you say i'm biased i also have a wholly per respect for peter lynch um and i love the practical investment approach and it's something i preach for people all the time yo you buy gas all the time PESCO. You buy that somewhere else, RPL. You know, you eat chicken, JV, G. I say those things. But if you're going to be, it does, you are, you see the same way how you said that your career is, boy, I'm going to sell it too early. If you really believe that, that means that you do want to at least firm up a little bit of your investment method. If you can get it right, you want to get it right, right? Yeah, yeah. You're sure? I remember you said early, say, you're
Starting point is 01:31:47 remember seven and i want more about the investment you said that and i respected that no all right everything about it i i i i don't want to overcomplicate it and i read into it too deep because what i'm doing right now currently i work for me and i so as it's about track i'm asking if it really is working for you if trans jamaica was not up where it is right now would what you be doing yeah what would what you're doing i would still i would still be in profit if trans-american career as weren't up would you still be in profit i don't have careers anymore but currently i'm in profit let's say right so an ncb rising from so far from so all right so as it's stand now i am currently in profit with with sajikor yeah i'm currently in profit with the
Starting point is 01:32:52 barita because I would have purchased barita at the IPO when they did the APO when they did the APO that own baritia from then which one second the last APO that did APOs the last APO price was what 7 B1 no man the one I think goes for $46 that one the one from forty something dollars which a year was it all right so i would have started i would have started investing late 2018 so if there was an IPO between 2018 to probably about 2021 dirabot i would have purchased barita then so the so barita for the people in the market long enough was wonderful barita went from nine dollars per share to ninety dollars per share boom wonderful on the back of a rights issue in
Starting point is 01:33:52 2018 when 20. Yeah. No, man. When when... No, man, I was talking about the appeal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:04 So when, when, when, um, Cornerstone bought him. The Cornerstone bought Barita. That's when the big blow up happened.
Starting point is 01:34:13 As excited as people are about Trans-Germica now, in numerical terms, this is even better. $9 to $90. dollars right within a year nine dollars to ninety dollars that means your one million turn ten million your ten million turn hundred million but that was 2019 so I'm asking if you if you invested around that time or is it the right issue or not or
Starting point is 01:34:43 after in if you said if it's the APO then you'd be I think the first APO was forty something dollars that's when it was the APO no I paid up yeah that's what I paid for it then forty eight dollars yeah somebody I'm still in a profit here I just trying to make sure that what you're saying so you can you know me know me did purchase the APO man you know what they purchase it so forty dollars
Starting point is 01:35:19 I don't know I just want to put what you're saying and like I want to pin it to a board that we have yeah man I know man come know you have got a big info you know and so with week turn now when you come out at 50 cent and it did run up we never get any never get any yeah because we never start investing as it that that IPO miss me however after that no when me start when we start to invest my buy it everywhere when i mean everywhere we buy it by it at 50 cents 60 cents 70 cents 80 cent 90 cent 98 cents yeah what what i normally do like so for example
Starting point is 01:36:02 i got purchase but it won frontana one time i got purchase some shares and like anything left like one two thousand three thousand a ten thousand just buy with then that's what i that that's what i did to accumulate so much shares in it that average it did you see a dc yeah just buy everywhere. But now, my one first my average price on Witton is 80-something dollar there about, but 81
Starting point is 01:36:38 average price. Centes. 80 cents, same, sense, same, sense. Yeah. So, that's how I do it. But as I say, me know, overcomplicated
Starting point is 01:36:51 and we teach, me get quite a few and my coworkers to start with. And a man, a man start doing, he gets Wigton at $9 and him up half a million dollar right now. 9 cents, 90 cents. No man, he catch Transjimaker at $9. Oh, so you said Wignton.
Starting point is 01:37:17 And he's up half a million. Yeah, Trans Jamaica at $9 and he's up half a million now. Hangats. Yeah. So here I know When we get the compensation money Is he? I said to them, say,
Starting point is 01:37:37 What you know? Whenever they have to get that money here, you know, and we're still afia live. So, look, work with the new increase. It's the money where we get, we can invest. And some of them follow me. Some of them didn't.
Starting point is 01:37:52 And that's how we can't do which part would there. Right. Figure it, sir. I get what you're saying, maybe more than you know. You're on the show talking. Obviously, I know I'm trying to get everybody to do the same. So, I mean, big up to you.
Starting point is 01:38:13 What I'm also, struggle. What we also do know, we have some funds, too. buy it have this fun where the money compound the income gold portfolio we have piece of that and we have piece of the capital growth fund and we have a US dollar FX US dollar okay yeah now I'll tell us every month to put money in I didn't go but really why saying like for you well yeah things are common with your level of
Starting point is 01:38:49 knowledge why do you know that why why why would I Why would I not put in it every month? No, man, I'm saying with your level of knowledge, why do you do those funds instead of investing directly on your own? Guess what? I just want to have a mixture of a little. Yeah, I just want to have a little mixture. Is your, are you beating them in terms of profit,
Starting point is 01:39:23 in terms of a percentage? the funds if may I beat them so for the effects when I'm up about a hundred percent a hundred and forty percent the capital good fund now do so well yeah so you are beating but the incomes
Starting point is 01:39:43 yeah may I beat them so you're giving your money to pay you instead of investing it yourself when you're beating their rates I never really look at it like that you know But guess what? Welcome to the show. That's the point of the show.
Starting point is 01:40:02 Yeah. I love a shit. I just want to have a little, a little diversity. I don't want to be 100% in stock. Okay. Yeah. So when you give them the money for the equity fund
Starting point is 01:40:18 and you take it out of stock, we'll put an equity fund. Not wrong with that, by the way. You're coming to it. When you do that and they take it and put it back in stocks. and make less than you make. You consider that? Yeah, I'm a consider that, but here I go to know Randy.
Starting point is 01:40:39 I'm not going to be living with you on this. I've got enough person in Jamaica. Remember when I'm smaller, they always say, oh, save the money, save the money, save the money. At one point, if I had $3 million in my account, I had $1.5 in investing. Yeah? Because I say, boy, that you can swing up,
Starting point is 01:40:58 any side at any given time so. I now put, commit everything to hit. Now, even though I tell you, I have their fund there, stock make up 95% are all investing in holdings that I
Starting point is 01:41:14 have. Yeah? So, stock still good. But as I said, enough people now come to term with the fact, say, yo, if you have two to three million dollars in a bank account, oh, yes, time and enough people still not come to terms so you know take big money if you do it true true on
Starting point is 01:41:35 both yeah so as me tell a 20 20 19 when me start you know me still have two million dollar in account you know and me have like 500,000 dollars over the society invest my investment and until when you look at your portfolio and you say boy me never do i get this over a bank there like when you see the cap gains you start put more money over there yeah so over time godja leurk our co-worker that is a christian him say a gambling it be and when chance you make a wait wait why he mean a Christian matter this gambling wrong yeah that's how he said oh but he says that he says that that's why I'm not buying any when trans jamaica hit the twelve dollar mark and with the ira reckon he said real rich real rich
Starting point is 01:42:37 he was upset but i don't feel he fault why would he be upset at into prayer about it it's not it's not yeah man me tell him that man me definitely tell him that yeah you sound like somebody who would you saw like somebody who would do that like you're making no say yo me yeah definitely tell him that yeah there's certain personalities that are good at investing you know and they're not always well loved oh god does he think he's gambling you hear the man say yeah anything are gambling so we pay money for my brain hold that work Yeah, but that's not gambling, though.
Starting point is 01:43:24 He's not gambling. Well, that's how him say. That's what he said. I don't know how they see it. Exactly. That's an ignorant journey. One of the thing when I think needs to happen in Jamaica, there should be a stock market course at grade 9.
Starting point is 01:43:45 Chowd every school in Jamaica. Yeah? There should be a course. more people need for know about this thing. There is so. It's called math. Well, not in the high school.
Starting point is 01:44:00 It's just about every level, actually. Yeah, it's called math, and we just don't think of it that way. I can remember going to high school doing principal of business. Them briefly touch on what is at the bench a share, ordinary share,
Starting point is 01:44:18 and preference share. and that they run out of your back of your book. And how much time I finish your book before you go do the CXE? Not any time. I don't know, but I can say this. I've done a lot of, I haven't said, I've done a lot, I've done a few business courses, I've done a few financial course,
Starting point is 01:44:37 I've done a few certifications, I've done quite a few of those things. Very few courses that I've done have ever been as effective as the principles of business class. class I did in high school. I don't know some I just I've learned
Starting point is 01:45:02 like we love to complain as Jamaicans, me too, but we even complain about a lot of good things because you are no, you hear multi-millionaire one multimillionaire is on speaking to
Starting point is 01:45:16 a few other multi-millaniers and you're saying you know that there should be a course and I agree with you we want that sort of literacy for our children for the next generation and for ourselves. But the fact that you remember that course says something, and I remember that course, because like I say, I've done so many things. I've done the MBAs. I've done it.
Starting point is 01:45:37 Very few things are as effective as that principals of business course that I did in high school. So don't knock it. Business, it was for me the first time I saw that, Oh, it's just sense. I remember thinking that it's just sense. It's just common sense. And having done even more advanced and difficult courses,
Starting point is 01:46:06 it still is just sense. The most effective people are the ones who are just, it's just sense. This is to the stuff that you say. It's just sense. The thing about it again, too, invest in, let me look at my money, different. in terms of say for example
Starting point is 01:46:26 like you know you stop at one bar you're gonna spend all on 25,000 or 30,000 and then you're backtracking head and say yo a whole heap a week times chase me could have buy with that
Starting point is 01:46:38 I turned to make a chase I could not buy with that when it's a $1.00 you know so that helped curve a bad habit that I had yeah see you like at the bar I like the queue. Yeah, I like that.
Starting point is 01:46:53 I like that. I like that. I like that. I really, really like that shift also. I was trying to put it to everybody can also understand. Yeah, you start thinking about how the experts put it. You start to shift from your, what they call a consumption?
Starting point is 01:47:14 There's a term for it, a kind of consumption. consumption, he started to shift it over to invest in. But I'm going to maybe try and challenge. Continue, finish your point. I won't hear it. Go ahead. So here the next, one of the next thing about it. You see, like when I'm
Starting point is 01:47:34 explaining to anybody, just try to explain it as simple as possible. Yes. And as something we are going, I'm going to make a big money now. If you're going to do it, just do it for your kids. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:50 know why some person feel like they can invest a thousand dollar and jump out with two million dollars you definitely they do and what do you tell them when they do it i am of the mindset say again what do you tell them when they tell them say oh me tell them say if a city stock go down buy more all right once it have great we have to think about the fundamentals of the company if it is right because guess what happened now when when me say NCB go down me never panicking up but
Starting point is 01:48:28 you see some of the interview there's an interview where Michael Lee tring do I explain the piece them literally right down make note off of the video anytime I feel a sense of yo just go back
Starting point is 01:48:44 looking at the book yeah you know purse is there and the three peas them always start about every interviewer him has found YouTube and watch them. I understand that bad. There's one, Danny and I did that we've never put out, you know.
Starting point is 01:48:59 We'll put out one day with Michael Leaching. What, with Michael Leachin? Yeah, man. No, any if you drop it? Well, yeah. In time. In time. In time.
Starting point is 01:49:10 There are just some, they are just, there are just a lot of, there are wholly a little things there where persons really can, can just, in everyday life I can make you invest way better and a big money do it I agree
Starting point is 01:49:25 yeah it takes time yes yeah sometimes I buy all two shares you know one shares
Starting point is 01:49:32 you know I love that that's right yeah so one of the things I always want to on this show is that
Starting point is 01:49:38 for every I never I've never stated it but I stated goal now it doesn't matter what level
Starting point is 01:49:45 of investor you are wanting on the show I at least try I at least try to have you leave with something more so if you're absolutely new no no nothing at all if it's even one thing i try to have you leave it at least one thing and tell you to come to grow and
Starting point is 01:50:00 if you are an expert or you do it already multi-millionaire i still try to have you leave with at least one thing better um i like that you don't consider myself that's i know but that's good that you don't consider yourself that but you would have trouble con you're gonna have you have trouble convincing that Christian at your workplace that you're not. I assure you that anything you're doing for him family, it might have them done because he might still pull you aside and ask you because he knows so you know what you're doing. And trust that you know what you're doing. And think of you as an expert. You're the money person at work. No? Yeah. Put it this way.
Starting point is 01:50:40 You're the person who got all of your workers to take them, they're 2023. back pay and put it in a stock that is now up how much percent you know how rare that is there are people who were the entire life in finance and don't have that experience all right so you have some males on this and more of them for know this yeah you can be the man with the money and be the man with all of the girls you have to choose which one you want that I want philosophy in my head also Yeah. So let us remember that.
Starting point is 01:51:18 Sit again. Sit again. Sit again. Sit again. You can't want to be the man with all of the girls and all of the money. One half to give way. So you have these fundamental ideas that are wrong. Wrong.
Starting point is 01:51:32 Incorrect. No, no. Hold on now. So here, let me explain it. I guess a point is all the girls. You can say you can take so. That's true. That's true.
Starting point is 01:51:46 Let's hear, let's hear me explain. Not true. So here what happened now. all right so if you have 10 girls and give them a minimum of 10,000 per month, which that now that is unrealistic thing. No, my brother. A different thing you have about. That is a hundred grand that you could have invested every month.
Starting point is 01:52:05 It's a different thing that? You are investing it. Yes. Hence the reason why, hence the reason why I said you can't be the man with all of the girls and all of the money at the same time, a female type money. So young man out there, focus on one female and focus on an investing journey. And you'll be a better person. I agree with that. I agree with the last part of the message. I agree with the last part of the message. Focus on one partner because a lot of women are also really good at investing.
Starting point is 01:52:40 In my experience, Jamaican women especially, tend to be better investors than Jamaican men. Yep, yep. I can tell you how often, bro, women come to me with their husbands, and I can tell one, this is the woman's idea, and this is going to be led by the woman.
Starting point is 01:53:06 It is very interesting, how often I have that experience. You get married, you're going to have that experience a lot more, my brother. You get married, you get married, you have experience a lot more. It's just, I mean, She's on this. She's a striker. We've had many strikers on this. If I don't
Starting point is 01:53:24 nicknamed anybody a striker that's a guy. Same. You know what? It's true. Very much so. It is 100% true. I never even. I don't really call guys strikers. And it's because I'm often impressed at what women do. And they'll talk to me, they'll DM me or I don't even real life or the message being on telegram or whatever and they tend to do things and not realize how amazing it is because they imagine that somebody out there is doing something so much better than i know what makes sense to them yeah says again then i all right you want hear a joke about that yeah you want hear a joke about that uh sure sure so i would have introduced my baby mother i would have introduced my baby mother to invest in right uh-huh you see all them look
Starting point is 01:54:17 to move there some stocks, Mick. Uh-huh. She's been on it. Sell, buy back. Sell, buy back. Sell, buy back. Yeah. Boy, I mean, I got to do that.
Starting point is 01:54:30 So you know who is the real... She also got you to come on. She also got you to come on. You might... Yo, you go and apologize to her and explain that she's the real investor in the house. Yeah, the thing about it, no, no. Let me hear it.
Starting point is 01:54:50 She can play with me. She can play with that the money when I give her and her, and she lose it. My man in the house, me can't play with it. Because everybody at the pen for me at the end of the day. She's not a man is pan to do that. Take care of that. She can play with it.
Starting point is 01:55:02 Her man is a millionaire. Yeah, so me have a keep mine in check. So she can do whatever she want to do over there. She's keeping hers in check because she found that good money manager. well you just don't realize it I you think you're running big yeah I'm at high level stuff and you are being careful I'm putting yes I'm being careful so you do the slow and steady and getting it there
Starting point is 01:55:32 she's actually investing well she allocating capital and her energy well and top it all off she got you to come on the internet and say young men only the one woman man, the whole heap of women. You know, so you never say, why you never tell the woman to only have one man? Yeah. And another thing, you know,
Starting point is 01:55:55 even at one point, I would have said, a coworker would have said to me, so, yo, when Transjama hit $6 if I'm not going to sell and then catch you back at a lower price or take some profit, and I'll have turned to him as a big man here,
Starting point is 01:56:09 you know, see if you know what I may have nothing, don't ever come to me. not selling argument about trans jamaica again because i'm going to do say next time a bit yeah so it is right i think it has a call for him so hold on you still when we're tired you still believe that what not to sell it yeah so yes one you see if me lose out of trans jamaica you're like three dollar okay which mean i think that ago well okay ncb was once at two I have a friend you know.
Starting point is 01:56:47 JBG was at 30 odd. There loads of things have been there. J. M.N.B. was at 52 before they did their APO. I have a friend that. Hold on. You get the point in terms of N.C.B. Yeah, it can. It's rise and fall.
Starting point is 01:57:04 I have a friend. Don't speak in absolutes because it can. Yeah. You can never know. I have a friend. You marry the money like the stock, you know. True. You see the coast of the following, the domain here to join it.
Starting point is 01:57:19 Yeah. I have a friend that for him to lose out on the NCB, you have to go to about $10 in a set. Big money. We are friends here. We do. Yeah. Uh-huh. So. But what? Here what happened now. We have a 15, 20 year old look on that investing thing.
Starting point is 01:57:46 So I'm just to have one and work with it. All right. I like that. So help me out. Having a 15 or 20 year look is amazing. I won't say it's the best. There is no, the best is whatever works for you. And I like what, I think the most important thing I've heard from you is that you, is your level of comfort with what you're, is what you're doing already. I think that that's the most important thing, how comfortable you are with it. Like I say, anybody at any level that comes on on this show, high level, low level, just new experience for years. I hope that they'll leave with you.
Starting point is 01:58:18 something better what would you want us to help you leave with here and do you want because there are things that i can i think you can hear no from us all of us are kind of half things that can help you what would you want some insight in and do you want some our thoughts and what can help you the thing all right now we have one additional four million in a saving I don't like for putting probably on 2.5 in the market but I just don't know if you put it because
Starting point is 01:58:52 I think no wouldn't be a good time for really purchase New Chance to make a start. You said no wouldn't be a good time to purchase Trans-Jamaica? No, I don't think no would be a good time to purchase it. Well, there are wholly
Starting point is 01:59:08 to other securities other than Trans-Jamaica but even so. Yeah. But me don't know. they are good we don't know which one we don't have to put much may i don't wait till after the dividend before me purchase it again why like a three week after the dividend why uh may i expect if it pull back a little so you expect it to fall from the price it's at no yeah may expect if you go about nine fifty the lowest are ten dollars how on a scale i want to ten be ten being god
Starting point is 01:59:45 showed me that it would happen and one being just have a feeling where are you can't say five where would you put your certainty about that say it i got pulled back i put your seven to eight between seven to eight so you're you're 70 to 80 percent sure that the price is going to pull back from 12 after the dividend pay yeah and then it i think and yeah then it all gradually go back up so why would you not sell some now? I'm not need for sell it. We're not talking need. I can't come to turn.
Starting point is 02:00:32 Yeah. No, I just can't come to turn to sell it. Oh, you, well, that's dangerous now. You love John Jamaica? Yeah. Yeah, word. Yeah, can it be. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:00:46 And if it does a flash drop to seven, you still love it? You still love it? Seven. I still not profit. I never ask you that as if you still love it. We'll lose money. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:04 I'm still all right with it. As that doesn't go back to under $4. All right. But suppose it goes back to under $4. You still love it. Yeah. I never really think so deep in it before now. Well, I hope that don't happen, though. That's one thing.
Starting point is 02:01:20 Hope is not a strategy. That's one thing we show can help you with. I can't believe after all of those wonderful things you say, you're ending with, you don't. Yeah. You can't look, well, I can't tell you what to do or not do, but Trajan Jamaica don't love you. I can tell you that. The stock doesn't know that you own it. You know, so you can't love, you can't love the thing and I know you have a top neighbor, but you don't, you don't, there's no, there's no, well, well, well, Transjamaica doesn't love you, right?
Starting point is 02:01:56 So if you're thinking up to your money, are you trying to be the best steward of your money? Are you thinking along how many years timeline? 10 to 12 you say? 15 to 15 to 15 to 20. 15 to 20. So you're thinking along two decades, 20 year timeline. But right now you are 70 to 80% sure that Transjamaica is going to fall below $12.
Starting point is 02:02:23 Why would I'm not saying you to sell it and you don't love it anymore and I'm just saying Any any unit that you sell for every unit that you sell at 12 you say you think it going to like 950 Yeah, we could I buy about more units not just more units for every 10 for every for every 12 you sell now You get every 10 you're able to buy back 12 you get me? Yeah So why wouldn't you if you love it why wouldn't you want to own more? Is that a method of up owning more yeah well media have the discussion with the core workers the other day is not like your average price make you make more money or make you have more shares because what we were concerned with is that our average price going up but at the end of the day if we sell some and buy
Starting point is 02:03:19 back some way we would i get more dividend and we don't have more shares for when time it continues when they climb over the years. However, however, here's the thing, they have more money not saving can buy, so they really have to do it. But you're doing, but... You can't have too much money?
Starting point is 02:03:45 Apparently he can. No, no, no, no. No, you are making it look that way, no, that's what I was saying. You're making it look that way. You're telling me 80% sure that the thing is going to fall. I don't need that profit. I can just put more.
Starting point is 02:03:59 Yeah, I can just put more. Why not then do the thing to allow you to put more? I'm not saying that you must do it. I'm just asking you. Yeah, I understand. You're not giving me any advice. No, no, no, that's not what I'm saying at all. I don't even worry about that.
Starting point is 02:04:13 I'm saying to you. Think about what you're saying. I am sure this thing is going to fall. Why wouldn't you sell some then? And then when it falls, you buy back more. Yeah. Maybe do with the other start them, but just not Trans-Rumerican. Why not?
Starting point is 02:04:34 You can't do it. You can't do it. That's strong. Being able to identify that is strong. Being able to identify that is very, very, very, very strong. Yeah, very, very strong. Very, very strong. Very important.
Starting point is 02:04:52 It's second to. Again. One break in the mentality. If you carry that, at least know you have the mentality, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's the most important thing. I remember the stock don't know you own it. These companies don't love us. They don't care about retail. I suppose trans-Germica in December say, in January next year, said they're doing an APO. APO price is 350.
Starting point is 02:05:30 Stock gone to go. I mean, I don't know. I would say yes for almost anything else. but because of what has been done in Trans-Gamaca over the last few years, I don't know. I would think so. I personally wouldn't risk it, but I have no issues selling. I also have no issues buying. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:06:02 So I'm not saying that you need to be a wild seller and trader. people talk about trade or I'm not saying that you need to always be watching the market that's not how real money is made in the market you don't need to do that to make money in the market um but just step back it's just like the question she asked you earlier if you're making good gains on your own why are you giving you money to something that you are able to look at and say it's not making the same level of gains as i'm making why why then do that in the same way you know I am 8% below 12 why not then say we get what she said where she did say earlier as it
Starting point is 02:06:57 giving my money to the money managers but it my read job book to book too so as as I say my 95% in our stock so are really over there so I just like you know just just did it some of it is not under my name you know i can tell you this i can tell you this two things one at least on this show telling us that something isn't important because you don't have a lot of money in it i don't really go very far that don't matter yeah if you care about the money once money is in it it's good yeah and also remember all types of people is to this show a lot more richer people are listening no thanks to trans jamaica but me know me no yes i don't ever want it to seem like
Starting point is 02:07:44 all because it's just five grand and you don't matter because to somebody that five grand is everything. So, and the truth is the bad habit that you have with the small money, you're going to have the same bad habit. Yeah. Yeah. And one of the bad habits that I can speak for myself is complacency. When you're able to find games, you, one of the dangerous things that happens to you is complacency. And so you find yourself getting hit a lot harder than you should be hit because you're able to also find gains out there.
Starting point is 02:08:22 But you never know in the big income. So you see, you see the mutual fund, one of the mutual fund, the capital growth fund, I would have split it and created the income growth fund. You would have split. Somebody take money from over there. Okay, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:08:41 So we just send my email and say, yo, I'm interested in this, put these three names on the account and create it and put some of the money over there. Yeah, so. And if a situation may arise, for example, I do some work by my house and something I never really budget for come up. Let's take out of the capital growth fund. Yeah. yeah somebody i know i would have alluded to the fact that we don't have other money in our savings but you know you have to prepare for anything that may arise medical or any true yeah so that would don't be like the emergency fund okay yeah so i'm still at the active
Starting point is 02:09:34 construction okay i understand that and i respect it i just as i keep asking you what it is that you are hoping for from what i mean this learn from from us there's one thing you can be i think one of the things is that you want to avoid that complacency when we can't learn from when we can't learn from no right now brother every day i keep that thing i name earning season we learn something for you here big up as i can't that me not like it and me not make no comment right now me i tell you over the internet right now you know I do a good job yeah you're not getting a better than this thank you thank and I'm sure sure I'm sure sure and I'm gonna I think about that
Starting point is 02:10:22 yeah man um and you know I tell you this is it's a half this is a half thing I'd love to I want meet those co-workers so if you DM me and I'm definitely not giving guys it for free you're your millionaire co-workers though I'd love to do like a girl with you guys uh just to ask Yeah, man, no problem. I think I can you think me can line it up. Here the next thing now. You see, I call out on the program
Starting point is 02:10:48 or some three or. Everybody. I know you can pay for it for everybody, but I tell you why that let them pay. And please, if you get everybody there, invite the Christian. The Christian can come for free. Please.
Starting point is 02:11:02 Very good. All right. You see, that's specific. It's like what your program, it's like your program like some two on some three hour long you see if I miss out on it when I do a son driving
Starting point is 02:11:18 like if I left Westmore and to Kingston show it on man I have enough time for listen to you Big up yeah yeah yeah please please I'd love to do
Starting point is 02:11:30 grow with all of you guys though especially that I haven't done one for a company in a while and I don't have a company will pay for it but I'd set our co-workers and if you guys get a nice group rate I would love to talk to Ali in one space. Well on, I know, man. You see, before we get the money,
Starting point is 02:11:45 the company would have called NCB, J. MNB, and Sajico for do them anything I would do. Even though we did start, do it a little before, you know. On your own. And he never take part in that. Really? He never take part of that. Word.
Starting point is 02:12:09 Well, I mean, we can only help, but we can help. So as I say, I would love to, I would love to do that. Like you mentioned the funds and the people watching can see, I have the funds up on screen. Barrett's capital growth year to date is at negative 2.63. The money market is at 2.23. The FX bond portfolio is at 2.43%. Real estate is at 14.9. FX growth.
Starting point is 02:12:39 UFNL is 8.73 and the FX growth. I have that from 2019. Okay, so your growth is quite a bit. I know that their real estate portfolio has had quite a bit in there, but think about Shea's question, not to knock on these funds and your diversification point is a strong one. However, if you are able to invest better, than somebody else you need to have a strong reason that's a
Starting point is 02:13:14 you know you see fun fun them actually one mm-hmm and I'm a own them but technically and I'm your own them them they're there for my daughter mm-hmm I know quite a few people I'm trying to say it again you don't want to try to make a too too too too I say yeah so so for my dad now I would do them there for my daughter yeah so she have at least one one 30 or depending on and I have one account at JMB when I have IPCL woodcats Fesco yeah I think I didn't treat them and that that I just want to X I some experience I ran over there so you know what will be come a
Starting point is 02:14:05 it as if I'm a certain an experiment over there yeah so I just say with that But for the main portfolio, seven stock won. No, no, man. No, that experience, I may and my baby mother name alone upon it. The funds them are for my daughter. Or they have a barit that those are from my daughter. I suspect everything is for your daughter still,
Starting point is 02:14:30 but keep billing it for. And then the main stock portfolio now that are mainly fish of you like that have that a favorite body in terms of we don't know what might happen in our life. So it's your back-up. We're probably very often. Yes. Along with the emergency.
Starting point is 02:14:53 Because one of the things I wanted to talk about tonight was, again, for the people if you don't know what you're doing and you're seeing a lot more money than you ever expected, one of the things that I want to talk about is, yo, it's perfectly okay to count. cash some out and put it in something else. And that's something else, almost anything else. I mean, realistically, there are people who are able to cash out them trans-Jamaica and buy a house or buy real estate. I'm not telling you to do that.
Starting point is 02:15:26 I'm not saying that it's the best thing. But if you don't know not about the stock singer, you get a bit lucky, it's perfectly okay to take a part out and diversify. for you specifically super villain you have so much experience and you already have the track record of like it you have the understanding of this that for you I would then question
Starting point is 02:15:47 like I'm not saying you not to do that but you can do better than some of the funds that you have it in right so why not do it yourself because also those funds two percent up but they also have two percent fees
Starting point is 02:16:02 so you are going on around me, a piece of property on me there pan, half acre. And as soon as the man ready for sell the next piece of the side of me, you know, if you get the money from me, I go buy. Oh, we know where you get the money from the stock market. I go get by. I think you have a hell of an opportunity. And I think if not for yourself, you owe your family,
Starting point is 02:16:31 or your certainly your daughter, the opportunity to at least maximize it. put it this way. If nothing, should have to be a call, pan, and I have to be proved and the money. And you never know
Starting point is 02:16:41 what it's going to be and let me tell you something. Inflation, real inflation is always higher than reported inflation. Life appreciates. I know that. Everything is expensive.
Starting point is 02:16:51 And it's only going to get more expensive. So, you owe it to yourself to make the profit when you can. God forbid, 10 years or something now you're looking at the Transjamaican, it's at $6.
Starting point is 02:17:03 And you say, right, the money is there, 20, you know. and whatever happened in between happened remember they're 20 you know imagine if me they take off this much of it or that much of it for most people well the less than the take out some out that ncd you know but you just can't sell a trans-jamaica yeah we should do we definitely should grow and i want i want i don't want it with just you alone i want
Starting point is 02:17:27 it with all your coworkers because i want that that's a powerful thing i group of friends investing together that's a powerful thing if any day kingstone waft and caribsman drop again i will be there but if then do drop you're not going to be there's what i'm wondering i was going to ask no one you see i've see that's the patient yeah but that's a bit patient come to grower because you have some good ideas but you have some you have a couple of bad ones in there that that yeah you're also backwards in some things so if if carib cement don't drop you know i get none well probably also but oh
Starting point is 02:18:19 you know i can't catch everything you know and janeka nice you can you know my so you now can't catch everything that's true but you don't have you catch everything but you identify two good things i just don't want you it's not about the carib cement or the king's-on-warves it's about the idea idea is a dangerous thing meaning if you buy the carib cement no let's say that there's two universes or there's two people you and and she you'd not buy the car ascent unless it drop got to what price do they have to drop to for you to buy some can get it a hundred and six time but here's our next thing man you here's a here's a next thing this week yeah yes man i'm a miss it
Starting point is 02:19:06 it. So here the thing. Anybody didn't get you. You have a little return and set up on my money, JA. But I have my money, JA. So here's the thing now. You need to. You need to have my money.
Starting point is 02:19:24 So here's the next. The level of information that it gives you is something else. You need to, especially the money that you have in the market. Here's the next thing when I'm going to. Hold on. Think about the amount of money that you have in the market. Yeah. And it's like I'm asking you about having a good camera system to look at your money and you're like, no.
Starting point is 02:19:44 I can use my imagination. All right. Can I link my money JA to my J.A. to my J.Trader pro account? Yes. They can also pull all of them from all of the different individual J-trade accounts. You can also have them all in different individual portfolios. And then you can also have another portfolio and merge all, like you have a merge of all of the previous. So you have like your daughter money, your money, your money, your money, your baby mother money, your baby mother alone money.
Starting point is 02:20:22 And then you also have another account that merges all of those and give you the full overall thing. So you're looking at your overall fund. You have a lot of money. Take it serious. Like actually act serious about it because you're in the serious money level of things. That's a simple truth. Yeah, I never know so I couldn't do that. That was one of my concern about it.
Starting point is 02:20:44 You would be surprised about the level of things that it can do. I'd have asked, you bridging a humble boss about it. And he never really 100% true about that part. That's why I never really go any further with it. You want to the next thing, we sit down with the co-workers there at Diana, and we are brainstorming thing.
Starting point is 02:21:06 if Jamaica never have a stock market, yeah? And we say we'd have to buy shares on the U.S. market. Cairps meant where persons don't look upon and say, you're expensive right now. It would only cost 96 cents. I would have to buy say cheap. So I don't buy it now. Any.
Starting point is 02:21:25 Well, I mean, it's at $111.11 now. And you're waiting for it to go to $106. But it's only 70 cents. At $11, why wouldn't you buy it now? Exactly. So I hit, we sit down, I hit my tell us if I go $106. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:21:47 If I go $106, we sit down and we had say, yo, no, so we should I buy this. And then me and say, yo, a two. And then me say again, say, yo, if Jamaica never have a stock market, $160, $6, $150 wouldn't be expensive because you don't be like cents in a U.S. currency. so you'll just build up a position in a hit. Maybe, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So I'm saying, you know, gee,
Starting point is 02:22:15 so you're better, we just build up a position in a hit and call today. I mean, I like how you think. You really want to come to the crowd and here's what the real, the real conversations and I like how practical you're thinking. I'll say that. I'll say that. So, big up super villain, please, I don't take it lightly. If you and your co-workers do it, I've done things for companies before, I'll do a package for the company.
Starting point is 02:22:44 And if the company don't want to do it officially, but you want to offer it to your coworkers, I'll give this kind of discount. No, I think, I think we would have, them, them would have to do it already. I think we would have to tell them about, yeah. Well, open to it, and either way. I can tell her it's totally different from anything where they may do. Yes. Can tell her that. It's not that.
Starting point is 02:23:10 The thing about, you know, if 20, 2020, 2020, 2025, now, now, 2024, if me did not son that for this a service, yeah. We couldn't make it happen. But I feel like for the whole entire company. But for now, me, you know, me talk to them. Monday, me go back to work. talk them both in here and i mean they're not like i say i'm putting up you can you can say to all you can say to anything have 10 or whatever and the discount is the discount um honest to anybody
Starting point is 02:23:47 yeah yes you just is something that i like it's part of one of my dreams that i have like uh like i know how powerful it is because i have the grow group but i know really powerful it is to have a set as small little powerful group of people who are investing and serious about the market like Like it is life changing. And you already have some life changing moment. So please. Take it to you. Right now,
Starting point is 02:24:13 I think about what if you tell them my money. Because they'll tell me, say, oh, them don't have money already, you know. So what do they need for? That, me they want to with me, I go tell them, I say, no. You can't get them for the end. I will talk about it.
Starting point is 02:24:26 You don't, if you don't know what to do with the money, and the points Randy was making before, if you don't know why this is happening, you probably need, you know, to learn some more stuff. Yeah. This is. I've never, I've, sorry, finish, finish. Yeah, go ahead. No, she, I say to finish.
Starting point is 02:24:51 I say to finish what you're saying, she. Oh, I was saying, like you were saying earlier, if you don't know why any of this is happening, then probably want to learn some things. Because how are you going to repeat it? You don't know what go on. You have no idea what actually is happening. You probably want to kind of learn some more stuff. Don't say learn.
Starting point is 02:25:20 Can you do it again? Ask them that. You know how to do it again? Yeah. I went for the next chance, you know. Yeah, it changes the market from a, from a, from a, I think that's happening to you, to I think that you understand why it's happening.
Starting point is 02:25:40 You can predict the market. I'm not telling you. I'm going to run a Fesco example to them. I say, oh, Fesco, they got $12,000. I mean, as I said, it's not, DM me and we can talk about it, I can tell you. It's not like I'm trying to woo them or anything, but I don't know how rich they are,
Starting point is 02:26:00 but I'm pretty sure that Richard and them have done grow, and I don't know how poor they are, but I'm pretty sure that poor them have done grow. It's for everybody, but it's the thing that you guys are doing is like being better at the thing. It's really being better at the thing, you know, this race car drivers go to school, even though they're really good at being race car drivers, they still go to drive in school and get more skills, whatever, right? Pros have coaches. There is actual value there. The market is not an accidental thing. And the the funny thing is the people who have like the knowledge that you guys have, especially if they've
Starting point is 02:26:36 on the market already, it helps you even more because it's a practical thing that you can actually see it. You get it. You get it more and more. It changes some of what you already know. And just when you're done, you will understand why. You're like, oh, and I am looking forward to see how dangerous you become once you get there because you already have some of the good things in mind. You already have money in the market. Already have like an idea of what to look for. You already have a comparer with doing things you have a couple things to work on that whole yeah sell something I don't know about that but that's what Grow is for so consider it and not just you everybody anybody else can get it at www.evermickel.com slash grow GRWR but yeah I'm
Starting point is 02:27:23 really really thankful that you came on and told us this and I'm looking forward to hearing from you in the future my brother I say please send me a DM all right no problem uh uh you have an instagram right i have an instagram but if you d me here or dmia insta i i check the insta really rarely though but yeah please same same username at r thiro you send me a dm here i'll see all right all right no problem wow uh then i show you how don't feel about that Al-A-A-Lata yes and Al-A-a-a-I think he's on the journey and I think he's earlier. You know, we talk often about your boy when you get to a certain level of money before you get to a certain level of learning.
Starting point is 02:28:22 Mm-hmm. Yeah. I think he has some things wrong. He has done a lot of things right. And the thing I do, when he said like him, don't want to learn, certain things. anything that I feel that some of our resistance definitely in terms of all you know going down going on the road on certain topics or going on the road on certain learnings and I'd say he needs a break past that but yeah I think he's on the journey so as long as he continues and he's actually
Starting point is 02:28:54 actually putting money down actually doing the thing actually putting money way more there so that's a head of a lot of people are holy people yeah one of people. I just don't like some of the little automatic. Yeah. Or, I mean, yeah, you try what the road you do on certain topics and you just now just move on, basically. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because it'll lead you to
Starting point is 02:29:21 losses that you don't have to make. Yeah. Yeah, you can't out of focus again than I. If you can do that or something like that to focus it up. Good one though. I like that conversation. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 02:29:40 Thank you for joining. Really, really thankful for joining. And also, I like to do the man I've like him, co-work. I know that feeling man say, not just do it alone. I'm bringing people with him. Very, very randesque. Yeah, yeah. It brought up memories.
Starting point is 02:30:00 Yeah, wow. I can't understand the Christian guy, though, and the thinking is gambling. Oh, no. He doesn't understand it and he doesn't want to understand it. People, he does people reaction in doing ignorance. I don't understand. I don't know how this works.
Starting point is 02:30:21 I've decided something already. And as we said before, you try to get somebody somewhere and the disagreement with that thing becomes an argument. And then the person doubles down. And the understanding. That's what I wanted to talk to them. I mean, not know, obviously, but like if I can do to grow with them, I'd love to have that, just to talk to that person.
Starting point is 02:30:43 Sometimes it's as simple as somebody I just never explained to them. Like, I can understand that Christian are not going to buy careers, or, you know, I'm not going to buy SVL as a Christian because I don't want to own a gambling company. Yeah, I'm okay with that. Yeah. Even that, I, my question, but I guess what I think. I think, I think that's a strong as well. but I'm not arguing with
Starting point is 02:31:06 I'm a fighting with it's all right good let's go cool not those two cool yeah again there's
Starting point is 02:31:13 that's not outside of those things right exactly yeah and I can't say I do kind of
Starting point is 02:31:21 understand I do kind of understand the the Christians with the carriers and things and yeah that's what I'm saying
Starting point is 02:31:30 I understand you own a company you yes those dividends. You own the means of production of that thing. Yes. Those carriers dividends came directly from the selling of cigarettes.
Starting point is 02:31:42 Exactly. The value in this, the cap gains, the value of this company is on the basis of that thing. So I can say, oh, I'm actually doing the thing, whatever,
Starting point is 02:31:54 but I, if he's, I'm just buying a stock. I'm just moving the thing. Like, you know, it's a tradable, whatever,
Starting point is 02:32:01 whatever. But the reality is you own the thing. Who owns that cigarette factory? Me? Yeah. On a moral point, I can understand it. Yeah. Yeah, cool.
Starting point is 02:32:13 The company is a lot of my trade and whatever, whatever, sure. Yeah, that's the thing. That's the thing. All of it? The person seized as gambling. Come on. And that's how I don't,
Starting point is 02:32:24 I actually don't understand what all this thing is. Gambling is a whole thing different from this. Because again, you're buying ownership. Also. I'm buying maybe this thing work out in this way. I'm gambling. There's two different things. I was saying also.
Starting point is 02:32:45 I was saying it also. It also in equity investing has been associated with a lot of not so very much liked people. So it may also be also be. a case where I can be a Christian and also be associated with tempting because that person or that person and deeds that or it could be
Starting point is 02:33:17 a very broad thing like rich people Oh one last thing You know so good night again guys one last Yeah sure You see even if you do a pension I'm going up not them not listen It's because somebody that's an bash me but even if you do a pension
Starting point is 02:33:32 Yeah Bastard said God some come yeah so how am i waiting for invest when tell me you know he can't give me like for estimated time what I say my inside info
Starting point is 02:33:49 my granny there with bankard you know and she didn't gone but yeah but there's no reason either way there's no reason
Starting point is 02:34:00 man says that soon come or is it like a 70 no no is like a son Randy, say that again. Randy, say that again. As that was a seven day,
Starting point is 02:34:14 where you said no. So I'm saying it's like a staunch. I never said no. I didn't say no. I didn't say no. Okay, I get you. I get you. I get you.
Starting point is 02:34:22 I get you. 100%. No, we have, he's definitely not listening to this. Randy, we have some seven days on the market. None. Seven days.
Starting point is 02:34:34 Again. All right. I was I was I was I was I was a kind of thing I don't want to touch because it's this yeah yeah it's a touchy topic but I just I just wanted to and I still have the invite for anybody who thinks that um Lake up come to grow and I'll explain in in great detail and have you honest and I also listen to what you think I how it can be about yeah investing in the market is not gambling gambling gambling. Mm-hmm investing the market is not gambling.
Starting point is 02:35:02 Um, yeah. Bring it back to the point, you know, financial independence, as I said, the Transjamaica lot of people make money. And I spoke about those questions that people want to have the answer to. Either you know you want to if you for sale or if it has got more what to expect. Or if you're not in a year, you want to, or if you should be in. Or if you're in there, you want to come out, what to go in. Like I did mention one of the points of the call.
Starting point is 02:35:31 Like, you know, you want to come to book a session with Danai and explain to him where you are and that you want that level of comfort. Again, it doesn't have to be the biggest gainer. So comfort and investing is about your comfort. It's not always about the most profit. It's not a competition thing. You're not trying to compete with Randy and Twitter to see if you are and Andy making more.
Starting point is 02:35:53 It's what you want for your money and what you're willing to go through to get that. Exactly. Yeah. And that means a lot of people. enough man become enough hey it's large a card i think i'll say i wasn't going to talk about earlier but other people do that where yeah i i become short term i'll become long term based on what i think sounds good versus what i actually want to do here with my money and then they end up in positions that they're not comfortable enough man yeah they're not really the trading thing and then they're not
Starting point is 02:36:33 in a little back and forth thing they're not really looking for the money and in a year. But trance of me, because they move enough there, so tell me what I can do to get that kind of thing. And then, all right, cool. You got 100% in a year. I ain't get
Starting point is 02:36:50 100% in a year kind of portfolio, you know? And you're not necessarily to do certain things for that. So you kind of miss out and stuff. Or you're not actually ready for the risk that puts you in that position. And then,
Starting point is 02:37:05 body. Yeah. Yeah, that's a major thing for people to consider to, you know, like what it actually is that you're asking for. Like what does it mean to get those kind of gains that you want? Like, unless you're already in Transjamaica before from last, late last year. I know you have the hundred and odd percent year to date. Unless you're already there, what it actually takes is something that you have to be honest with yourself about. whether or not you want to take that on and and it is like are you the person who is going to be paying attention to the market are you the person who can pay attention to the market you don't
Starting point is 02:37:46 need to but if you want aggressive gains it does require some aggressive work yep yeah yeah yeah yeah don't be fool trans jamaica no wasn't made no like if you want what trans jamaica is no it means that you have to be buying into it in 2023 when it wasn't going anywhere mm-hmm 2021 when it was when it was when it was when it was the failed IPO quote-unquote failed IPO when it was below IPO price when nobody was talking about it and I don't mean own it then everybody loves to talk about oh I I own it no what you did is you bought it at IPO IPO I yeah you're afraid of it went down I you ignored it I know you check it again and it's up and you're happy as hell and you should be honest with yourself about what it is
Starting point is 02:38:31 I'm so happy I held through and you eat this piquet your own resilience that you never yeah it was a very different thing when oh I'm frozen I'm not gonna sell because I'm going to lose the money and all those things suddenly know you're right chose me many many oh sorry you're saying something that are you're suddenly no you no so they know you're so you know you're a hero you're you're you're a picture of resilience because you held through the tough times and you were fearful and you're you're greedy or another, they're fearful, or you know, it takes, you know, it really pays off to wait for the long term, you know, you know, because you take a short term. You was done and I never sold and I was such a good person.
Starting point is 02:39:13 I was a good investor for that. And imagine if I had sold like some other people. That's what they sold. I know. But I check in 2020. Mom's the word. Exactly. You want to switch from that.
Starting point is 02:39:25 Yeah. You want you want to switch from that to. So again, in the same way, I respect the people. people who were buying them. Yeah. People who were when it was down when it was down at a dollar 30 or a dollar 20 or the people who were throwing their money into it then with understanding that XYZ is likely to happen and when XYZ people tell you I can't tell you my yeah people who had Transamerican were very disgruntled and the question was okay for sales transgender maker what do I go to because I want X Y Z I want a I want a I want a I want a
Starting point is 02:40:00 about money in XYZ time. It's a very, when they need to talk, no, it's, I see, I've seen people, oh, they sold it and they're so upset that they sold it. But there's a reason you sold it. You can't, it's not a, oh, I walk back and thing there. You weren't looking at, it's to the point where I know when I, I know you were looking at waiting until 20, 27 40% to happen. 2026 for this to happen to you.
Starting point is 02:40:28 You were talking about you bought in the IP and you wanted. flip, you wish, you know, the victim did really well and then, and he bought this thing I didn't. So suddenly, you know, I can't believe you say I did really go buy this foolishness. All right. Our, you're trying to, you see, you're looking for the next flip. But then suddenly, you know, you know, I shouldn't have said, you know? Yeah. You want to switchpatter.
Starting point is 02:40:54 Like pretend it's on, on YouTube, the people who held them bought more are the real ones, right? Yeah, man. Yeah. And if you couldn't tell themselves, fine. beyond this time. You couldn't tell them. Yeah. Future Minds, W says you can,
Starting point is 02:41:10 also on YouTube, you can say what if for every stock, which is true. T.J.H. is one of the few blue chip stocks on the JCP that's reliable. You know what's funny? I think this is the first time I've heard somebody call it a blue chip.
Starting point is 02:41:22 Same. I thought that was interesting. There's a first time I heard that what they call it a blue chip. It has a hey, congrats future minds. Double G is knowing or blue chip. What a hell?
Starting point is 02:41:35 was also bro exactly because one of the strong characteristics of typical blue chips is not strong movement so then to this reliable talk you're twisting no no no to me that sounds like i have transform make and i like trotemaker because i've made money from it but what was reliable mean blue chip what was a actual definition of it's a typical characteristic of blue chip isn't flying like chan smoker Let's see what a blue chip. A blue chip is a high value, in fact, investopedia and Miriam Webster.
Starting point is 02:42:18 Miriam Webster says a stock issue of high investment quality usually pertains a substantial well-established company and enjoys public confidence in its worth and stability. Does Transjabaker be that? High investment quality, that's a value judgment. So we can come back to that. usually pertains a substantial well-established company. I'd say that a trans-Germaker is that and enjoys public confidence in its worth and stability.
Starting point is 02:42:46 100% yeah. What does Investopedia define it as? A blue chip company is widely considered a solid long-term investment due to its established position in its industry. Blue chips have a large, so it is established in its industry. It is one of two major tools. tolls in the country. Blue chips have a large market share, season management, yes to both. Solid and reliable financials. Solid is a value judgment, but I'd say yes. Reliable financials, yes. And brand recognition. Make you really key takeaways on that last one.
Starting point is 02:43:30 Key takeaways. A blue chip is a reliable, reliably profitable and time tested public company. Is it a reliable, profitable, it is reliably profitable and it time tested, I mean, more time, but yeah, I'd say yes to that. Blue Chip stocks are seen as relatively safe investments with established track records of solid returns. I believe yes for Trans Jamaica, yes. Blue chip stocks are noted for steady growth, but not necessarily the norm-busting breakout returns of risk. scare stocks oh no i'm not i'm not saying it's not blue chip but then to make it seem as reliable as a comparison to other blue chips it don't work so you try to make a doing this flying isn't isn't isn't a mark against others or in the sense of oh these aren't as blue chip you're
Starting point is 02:44:27 buying blue chip you're expecting blue chip returns that's what that's yeah i don't know if people have a realistic understanding of what blue chip returns are yeah but what i don't I think it's blue chip. I would say blue chip. My whole thing is a lot more blue chip on the market. Yeah, yeah. My whole thing here is to say it's more, it's the only reliable boot chip. When you say when you characterize, when you put reliable as a means to say, oh, Transamerica's flying is a reliable thing against the other, against blue chip companies.
Starting point is 02:45:02 And blue chip, no, country makers behavior isn't within the norm for blue chips. If you're looking at blue chips, you're not looking. If you're buying the blue chips, trust me, what you're looking at is slow, steady returns. And that's why you buy for the long term because, you know, because you're going to have the ups and down. In that long period, you're more likely up than though. You know what, mate? That's not going to tell.
Starting point is 02:45:25 We've said it before, but maybe we do another episode on that. I'm like, what is blue chip? Because it's not that I don't think it isn't blue chip, it is blue chip. I just think that I don't, I take, I'm in opposition to the few. They said Tj.J is one of the few blue chip stock on the JSC. No, no, no, no, that's, that's reliable. So it's, to me, it's two, I think what he's saying is few blue chip chops stocks are reliable and Chancesmaker is one of them.
Starting point is 02:45:56 And I'd say, that's a whole. Maybe they can, maybe, yeah, a comment would help so much. Maybe they can, that future minds jump on on on Twitter and I would love to talk about it. But blue chip is, whatever blue chip is, all my personal view is just that there is a lot of blue chip. Again, I don't think he's saying that. I don't think the same thing works if he's saying that. He's trying to make, if they are, if he's saying that there are a few Bluetooth companies on the market. Well, exact words again, Tj is one of the few blue chip stock on the JSC that's reliable.
Starting point is 02:46:34 So they're saying that there are a few. Blue chips, like a few. I think there are a few that are reliable. Yeah. But reliability is a side effect of being blue chip. Of being a blue chip, exactly. Of being blue chip. I think it's, I think it's a transfer maker feel good thing again.
Starting point is 02:46:54 It's a oh, Transamerica flies, so Chancellor Maker is reliable. Transamerica is great. And I think it don't work at us. If you are if you talking blue chip, then I'm sorry. The behavior of Chantamaker has, oh, you know, soaring is not typically. is not typical of blue chips. True. Neither Carreras for that reason. Exactly.
Starting point is 02:47:12 Yeah. Up 97. We can show you when Carriers is just not necessarily replied. People, people, pre-sense it by us, bro. True. Heavy resensy bias. Carb cement, but also. I want to know what reliable means.
Starting point is 02:47:28 That's kind of, yeah. I think I know what to be here. But I just want to. Yeah, I just want to hear. Yeah. If you come on and talk about it, we can, but otherwise I think maybe another way you could find out what is Bluetooth? That might be a good topic.
Starting point is 02:47:42 You know, what is Bluetooth? Because I think what is Blue Chip on the market is a lot wider than people maybe realize. Yeah. There's a lot more on the market. Blue Chip are the flavor of the season, you know, bro? NCB, Blue Chip is like. And then suddenly, I'm sure how many will say otherwise when it's not flying?
Starting point is 02:48:04 But that is, you know, where you work so. True. NCB is now up. How much is it up? Up since it's down. No, man, year to date. I mean, year to date, it's up. I think it's up.
Starting point is 02:48:21 Why am I not seeing it? Yeah, sorry. I'm so sorry. I was, I should have looked up at the top. I'm so sorry NCB, sharehold us. 90.04% year to date. Yes, sir. Who chip again.
Starting point is 02:48:41 Yeah, but I mean, come on, future minds. I talk to us or we'll do it out of episode. Having said that, let me see if there's something as I would say before we got to the very patient back again this week, firmament. Probably, having a great week again. Humble boss, who I think is maybe the person, I'm hoping as a person, that was being referenced by a guy just now. said, Randy, what are my expectations for Atlantic? Like, it's going to a penny stock again? Or if they don't lose a tax credit, does it start to fly again or sentiment gone?
Starting point is 02:49:25 Atlantic is a maybe a larger conversation. Shout out to She, in her goat mouth prediction. She sent it down to the penit. I did it all on my own. Yeah, she sent it down to penny stock levels. I forgot to check. if I actually own any Atlantic, I'm happy that I've sold a lot, if not all. Especially I know it's like 102 and it traded below a dollar today.
Starting point is 02:49:54 Having said that, yeah, one of the things, if you listen to what I'm actually saying, I'm not just thinking about, oh, what for buy, what for buy. You know, I don't want you to answer this question or address it right now. Tell me. Because if you just do a short answer, it's going to, it's nothing will be learned. and I don't want to do a long answer. You're right. It's cool.
Starting point is 02:50:18 She sent it below a dollar. So it is what it is. You went below a dollar today. All I'll say on this is that I will very likely be buying back Atlantic in the future. But I see clarity on what happened and why. And I had a lot of money for me in Atlantic. In fact, I sold. I sold some Transjamaica shares and put in Atlantic, not just now, but, you know, in the past I have put
Starting point is 02:50:50 Transemaker money, take money out of Transamerica and put in Atlantic. And I don't regret that at all, especially not because it's profitable, so I'm good. Humblebass, you can come on another week, I will talk about the Atlantic thing. Yeah, man, the Atlantic, and that's, I like that question because so much could be said. it's just not a quick answer. That's true. And I think more would come out of it if it's a discussion. Yes.
Starting point is 02:51:22 It does require some amount of conversations. It's not just a black boy. It's not just good or bad. Yeah. Yeah. So Sir Firmament, how are you? Extetic. Rich.
Starting point is 02:51:38 Richer? Yeah, I'm good. Are you hearing me? Emma, we're hearing you clearly. Yeah, ma, go on, boss. Yeah, man, today was great. But before I talk about today, I already say you should diversify after taking profit. When you say that, are you only talking about stocks?
Starting point is 02:52:05 Do you mean diversify into stocks or other assets? You literally say that. Just, I think what you heard me said that for people who don't know what they're doing and are suddenly seeing a lot of money in Transjamaica, I want them to take a moment and think and be happy, that's great, but be honest with yourself, like if you don't really know what's happening and I'll go one step further, I'll help everybody else. If you think that this is happening because people are static about Transfemaker. If you think that people like you and me
Starting point is 02:52:43 are buying Transjamaica, which is right gone all the way up to 12, then I can help you that you have no idea what you're doing. Again, we have almost nothing to do with this. Although no, I think retail, especially over 10, I think the retail does have managing our trades or selling or whatever. We are part of the hitting the bubble, what's hitting the bubble, but it's not really up to us, right? It didn't get to 12 because of you and me or the new leg, and it's not, if it goes to 15, it's not going to get there because of you and me.
Starting point is 02:53:26 And if it dropped back down to, well, if it does drop back down to like five, it will be because it's left only to you and me. I can assure you that if it's left to me and Shea and Danai and, people like us and people like firmament, Transjamaica go right back down to a dollar. Okay. Okay. My words. I can say that.
Starting point is 02:53:50 No, as for you, as to answer any question, the diversification thing, if you have no idea what's really going on, but you're very, very happy. And you don't have a clear plan. So like I see Ingrid on YouTube saying that, you know, she bought, uh, she bought 10,000 units at IPO and she continues to buy these 3,000 units every month, even since then. even though she don't really know what she's doing, but you should have a meal yet, but you don't give up. Plus, she reinvest their dividend.
Starting point is 02:54:17 Ingrid, you sound like somebody who actually knows what they're doing. You don't have to have the world's greatest plan. You don't have to be a really big expert. But if you, you sound like you have a plan and you're working with it. So that plan will work at 12. And if it drop back to 10, it will keep working. And if it drop back to 8, it will keep working. Because I assume you have a plan working with.
Starting point is 02:54:37 But if you have just bought the thing, you know, really no walk on, I know you're seeing where it is and you still not really know walk on, it's perfectly okay to take some out and put it almost anywhere else. So that is diversification for a moment. And so yes, along those lines, of course, I'm 100% okay with that because the person who put 300 grand in IPO and they're now looking at 3.6 million. and they don't know anything about this. When it dropped back down, if it dropped from 12 to 6,
Starting point is 02:55:16 I don't want, they're still going to be in profit, right? Instead of having 3.6, now they're going to have, what, 1.8 million? And that's cool. But I would love if they took out that 1.8 from now. And when it drop, then have that 1.8 somewhere else. You know, maybe this is a dream for them. They always want to read estate or buy an apartment or, or, you know, does something buy the house deposit?
Starting point is 02:55:42 Yo, if it means that much to you and you have the profit now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing it. And it is, in my view, preferable to do that than to stick around anything just because it looked good. And of course, the question is, what if I sell and it go up? If you took the money out and put it somewhere else for whatever you want, that's perfectly fine. It might go up.
Starting point is 02:56:05 It might also drop. You don't really know what's good. on be honest with yourself, it's okay to go somewhere else. And it's also really great if you go somewhere else that you have more knowledge. That's just my general thing. Clear for a moment? Yeah, that's clear. And then you said, you want, oh, this is about it, Atlantic Carter.
Starting point is 02:56:28 You said you want clarity on what happened. Did you mean that you want clarity on whether something happened? Something did happen? No, I'm aware of what happened. or something so something happened yeah we spoke about this last what do you think we're talking up what do you think exactly you've spoken about with another Atlantic when you when you say something i i think you're talking about the tax break is that what you're talking about and did they really they release a statement about about about it no they haven't but i don't really look to companies
Starting point is 02:57:04 to guide me the company's going to they're not allowed to lie to me but they're going to come very close to the line. They're not going to say, you're going to come to say, hey, guys, yes, we lost our tax break. In the first year of our 10-year tax break, we screwed up. Not that I'm not going to say that. They're going to paint it. I make it sound nice. They're going to tell you that, you know, it's our first time with a big poor auditor.
Starting point is 02:57:27 We have moved on. I'm not here to hear that. I'm not here for that. Atlantic don't know that I own it. These people aren't my friends. I'm here for my money. And the second, my money look at risk. I'm out.
Starting point is 02:57:38 I'm happy right at this point that I'm out. And as I said earlier, I separate the shares from the company. I still love the idea of the company. I love what the company is doing. And I believe that the company is in a great place to do something that amazing. I am sure as long as I have life, I'm sure that I'm going to be buying Atlantic shares again. And as things are, no, I've got to be buying them cheaper than they were in the past. but I want to know.
Starting point is 02:58:09 I want to understand because for me, it's not just about event. I need to understand what happened. 10-year tax break lost in year one. I want to at least know why. Okay. I was told in the document, the prospectus I was given many reasons why I should buy in.
Starting point is 02:58:31 One of them was that a company is going to benefit from the tax incentives for being listed on the junior market. That was one of the stated reasons. And that was understood. And that was one of the things that, that, that, that, that made it attractive for me. For my own investment thesis into Atlantic, the tax break is a key benefit. For me, for my own investment thesis, for the things I have around it.
Starting point is 02:59:04 So the loss of the tax break in the first year is a very questionable thing. I think it's a sort of thing that raises competence questions. Any company lose them tax break. To lose a tax break, it has to raise a competence question. That doesn't mean that there is no competence there, but the competence question has to be answered. And like, why? Why is the tax break lost? All right. I hear you.
Starting point is 02:59:37 I know you have some thinking behind us. You didn't ask it for no reason. Tell you know what the reason is that you ask it and what you thinking is. No, I just kept, I just kept seeing people talking about it and I was wondering if a statement was actually released and I didn't see any statement. You have a my money to your account? Yes, I said, I'm one of the free ones. Well, we're still, we'll still show you the news on it.
Starting point is 03:00:08 Okay. If you can even still have it in a portfolio, I think we still even give you alerts on it, including when there's any news. So you can always check. All right, all right. I'll do that. So. So the last thing they spoke about was,
Starting point is 03:00:27 was, I don't know if it's them or JSC, you just point out that they were back on. And I have seen on social media. On social media, I have seen them talking about, them being Atlantic,
Starting point is 03:00:43 talking about, about the auditor and being about I haven't heard any reference made to the tax break nor the last thereof. So what do you think about it though? Well, if they'd lost a tax break, then I wouldn't want to invest in them then. Why not?
Starting point is 03:01:10 Well, it would be a reason why I wouldn't want to put my money there. Why not? Because it would make them a less profitable company, a less valuable company in the eyes of other shareholders or potential shareholders. Well, I mean, they already have become less profitable, less valuable. Shareholders sold it down below IPO price today. Right. So if they release a statement confirming that they lost the tax break, they'll become even less valuable. The price will probably be more.
Starting point is 03:01:53 They're probably not going to release any statement saying that. Yeah. Okay, so I guess then that's something you would have to glean from the financial statements are some, the summary is in the financial report then. Yeah, but you know what? back in the day, up until this point, it was easy to fool the investing public, even though it's still easy to full the investing public. But there is a cadre investors that are more sensible.
Starting point is 03:02:32 They have more options now. They can't read things. They can see it for themselves. You'd have to wait for Owen James to read it on the news. Owen James, no which side of the bread and butter is on. He probably wouldn't read it on the news. But now we have people who don't work for the news and see for themselves.
Starting point is 03:02:51 You have people who put it out there. You have thousands of people who have lots of, they have accounts just like you and my money, JAA free and paid. And yeah, we're not in that Jamaica anymore. We're not Jamaica now where people know better and they can find out for themselves. It's a different class of shareholders. So it can be hidden in the audited. Even if it wants it in the audited and it legally has to be in the audited.
Starting point is 03:03:25 It'll be remembered. It'll be broadcast. It'll be put out there. So it's better, I think, for the company to head that off and speak to it and just deal with it. And if people like me are wrong in our assumptions, if we are wrong in our assumptions, and TAAD isn't going to ask them for the expected full 100% tax. Tell us that too. Are we one of the first people to pour my money right back in?
Starting point is 03:03:53 I'm going to come back in anyway, just an inquirety first. That's just how I see. Okay, I can't disagree with that. I wanted to talk about what happened today. today today today today actually sold all the alma tj chairs gas them how come yeah man i sold everything you know you home boy christian were co-worker and he might be on to something so yeah the market i sold everything something something something
Starting point is 03:04:41 everybody. So that the market opened and I saw that my portfolio went from 19 mil to 20 mil. And I did a calculation and I said to my friend, if I sell now, I would make 18.6 million based on the order sizes. And he asked, why don't I wait for the 20 mil? So I told him, I told him I'm not greedy and you usually hear people say you're fearful when everybody that says greedy so yeah so I sold I remember I remember getting back in
Starting point is 03:05:27 remember last week a car sell all this you're trying to make a share it if you want you know I cannot sell it I cannot sell it it's not possible it's not possible that that's what I use the word I use that word. I said it was impossible. What was the word they used?
Starting point is 03:05:48 I feel like you know what I mean you know what you used? I think I was worried about um I think I said something about being being able to accumulate the uh the shares that I had before something like that. I was worried about the dividends. Hmm. Probably me to you want to say something funny. Mm. I have. Can I show this? I have a car post built up every single thing that has been said on this show ever. Everything by anybody that said on this show ever. So just saying that,
Starting point is 03:06:43 but finish your point. I just tell you that I have that. we'll finish your life. Yeah, so I was about to say that I had gotten back into Transjamaica in November of last year, right? And my average cost was $4,0.4,0.42. So I was way back. Military about the back of the back of God. And the highest I bought, John Jamaica for it was $9.35 cents. So even though I had a low average, I was still buying it.
Starting point is 03:07:21 And I had a total of $6.5 million invested. So that $6.5 million became $8.6 million. And I remember when I was entering the sale order, actually, they did it three times. And then I finally did it. Your finger shake. You couldn't get me. Yeah. Yeah. So the divorce is hard for most, you know.
Starting point is 03:07:51 So I sold, I sold 1.49 million units. And after I did it, I remember seeing that, you know, oh, it did look like, you know, the price is still a strive. Still, it's still going up. But then then about about 10 seconds later, it started to go sideways. it started a dip yeah so you sold so you sold at about 12 50 12 dollars and 50 i saw i think i the price the the sell price i entered was um 12 12 20 and 40 cents 45 okay it didn't it didn't it didn't go that low but that's what i entered so you sold um trading or you sold are you guys in the pre-open
Starting point is 03:08:44 i saw during trading now not in the pre-open okay so i was actually i was actually sitting there watching the pre-open uh-huh this for 18 million i'd watch the pre-open too hey video yeah and you know after i did it i decided to just treat myself to some burger king yeah you know that yeah that's 18.6 million yeah yeah i'm so happy for you my brother I was so happy for you I was so happy 18.6 are you buy some BK what was your order I ordered the number 11 it's the grilled chicken the grill chicken sandwich but yeah I extract orange juice instead of soda I took I took a sprite that I
Starting point is 03:09:43 heard she pipe on a side So talk to me. What does it feel like? Hold on. You say you put 1240 in. Yeah. But it sold at what? It didn't sell at 1240.
Starting point is 03:09:58 It didn't. It didn't sell at 1240. There were orders there that were much higher than that. That filled the whole order. Oh, I respect that. My brother. So you get the whole, oh, 1285. Mm.
Starting point is 03:10:13 That's still nanocats. Pre-opening, Randy. Say it shows after pre-open. Yeah, but it's something that making sense to me then, because what was the average price on the sale then oh yeah i didn't i didn't check that you know i didn't i didn't calculate that i'll do it for you tell me the time since you already tell the number you're not worrying about until the time when you sold it the time how would i how would i have a nine o'clock or you say you're just watching the pre-open and then you
Starting point is 03:10:48 you get a contract note no oh yeah would it would it be in the contract now would it be in the contract It should be. I don't know how you broke us. It's all right. This is this trade. 115 trades is why it moved in 1.49 million units, right? For a moment. 18.85, 1262 per share. Yeah, 1.49. Yeah, this is your transaction. Congrats, my brother. Indeed.
Starting point is 03:11:16 How does it feel? It feels good. No, I need to get back in there. Some hope. It doesn't laugh. You get back in what? Into Transjamaica. Into Transamerica. Look how you do the buying and selling thing, the up and down.
Starting point is 03:11:32 You know, afraid they lose money or end up with more, with less shares? No, I'm not afraid of losing money. No. As I said, as I said, but, yeah, me just buy it back. What's the next move? Buy trackmaker? The next move. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:11:55 All right, I'm going to buy. Let me explain something to you. let me explain something to you 12.8 million dollars cash first of all you're in the 1% of jamaicans just make you know that not not like how people think of the 1% but like the actual social you mean 1% you that's more money than many people i've ever made in their entire lives it's more money than than most me in their entire lives
Starting point is 03:12:28 and how and put on and see yeah that you have it in cash you can pay the deposit you just said on a on a you just said 12.8 you mean you mean 18.6 million 18.6
Starting point is 03:12:40 I'm so sorry sorry sorry sorry and say another little bit of money easy I'm so sorry how dear I 18 18.18 18.8 million actually
Starting point is 03:12:51 but you mentioned who's your broker? Sajikor. Sajikor, okay. So if we go with Sajikor, just so you have it, you have it right. You say it's sold. So with Sajicor, you actually, you know, you're doing it already, you know, 18.6. After, after tax, yeah, after.
Starting point is 03:13:14 After taxes and fees, you work out to 1250 per year. I love that, I love that, I love that, I love that. One way or another, you've worked the way around to understanding it and understanding the benefit and I hear you talking about going back in so I ask you what's the next move is it definitely going back in or you're just saying that like what's the next move is I actually have a buy order in the queue already so yeah I'm going to go back in the tj and and also increase my position in in some other stocks you're spending any on yourself Well, I usually spend the dividends on myself.
Starting point is 03:14:03 Okay. Well, fair of me, too. Yeah. That's so funny. That's so funny. The last guy that was on the program is thinking not to sell. But if he'm buying, him buying after the dividend, you sold before the dividend and you know that the dividend is coming, right?
Starting point is 03:14:22 You know they're both announced consideration. Right. But what is what My dividend was like What 200 grand? The 200 grand can buy a premium ticket You know But what is
Starting point is 03:14:35 But what is 200 grand compared to 18.6 million That much That's not much What's see there? See? What? Oh boy Yeah
Starting point is 03:14:50 So Promise, We're saying You don't make the money Until they sell this stuff right right yeah that that is true and i'm not saying that the magistrate as you say yeah that's what i that's what i say i see i see but
Starting point is 03:15:12 i you know i i am not set in my ways and i want to make as much money as possible in the most efficient way possible and i find that when i try new things it clears up a lot of misconception that i have especially in relation to base things about the market. I like here. That's good. That's good. To never be too set in a ways. I try to make sure the same thing for myself.
Starting point is 03:15:43 Never be too. Like just in case it could be wrong. And it's wonderful whenever you learn. You learn anything that way. Like you thought you're right, but it turns out you're wrong. Just because you listen to. Like everybody has something to teach you. So yeah, I don't usually get 18.5 million for doing it, though. But damn.
Starting point is 03:16:02 Wow. what do you think you could put that 18 in and turn it into 20 by the end of the year? and turn it or you mean double it or you mean turn it into 20 million? I said turn it into 20 but um double it hey ambition is free and you have 18.6 hey what you plan to double it in? well what I could I could put it into into um no I couldn't put it into Omni. I don't think Omni has the, what you call it, the volume for that. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 03:16:51 I'm not sure yet what else I could put it into. What, what, what, what, but I could, oh, well, I could, yeah, I could, yeah, I could, yeah, I could, yeah, I could, I could, um, put some of it into, into, into Omni, not all of it. I don't know. Omni have the space. The entirety of Omni's Q is. 7.3 million. Wow. How much you say you started with?
Starting point is 03:17:23 How much you say you started out with? I started out with 6.5 million. Okay. I know it's 18. Your tricks, the money. Congrats, roughly. Yeah. Yeah, I am proud of you.
Starting point is 03:17:41 I remember the feeling. It's a good feeling. So you say, could put put it. some in Omni and where else where else are you looking and then if um i'm say i'm still interested in it at in atlantic hardware if they you know clear up things i'll put some some some there uh where else could i go i could i could go into into i pcl as well um why would you go into ipcel Why would you go into IP sale? Because they've been making a lot of acquisitions and those acquisitions are paying off.
Starting point is 03:18:20 And they have a monopoly on the service that they offer. What do they have a monopoly on? They have a monopoly on the, is it the scan, the CT scanning machines that they're, the imaging service that they offer? for? I don't know. I don't know that they have a monopoly on anything, but they may have a monopoly on something. Off the top of my head, it's not coming to me. If they do is like maybe there's like one specific thing and they're the only people who have that machine or something. I just, I thought maybe you may have a top of the head. Yeah. So before I would, I'd even put the money there. I'd verify that I'd clear it up. and then and then there's there's NCB what you're thinking there
Starting point is 03:19:18 we can certainly take certainly take all the 18 yeah NCB could take all the 18 but I would much rather put put all of it in in Trans-Gamacca though so are some of it in Trans-Gamaca
Starting point is 03:19:34 and some of the profits in Omni Omni Omnia and you already have a position in Omni yeah I already have a position in omni. You're thinking about where the next omni could be. The next Omni. Not the next.
Starting point is 03:19:49 T.J.H. Sorry. That's what I meant. You know, T.J.H. It's ever a tough act to follow. You know, I keep seeing, I keep seeing a lot of people saying what the next TGH is. But it's a very tough act to follow. In what way?
Starting point is 03:20:06 100% in a year. I do you're not done yet, but still. It's not really that high to follow. That's. normal jac years the first yeah i thought it would be the last and tj it's also it also has a lot of um high sentiment and there's a lot of it has a lot of investors over 40,000 money me that's that too you're talking about money money and return you want to you want to find next tjks because you want to find who like it but what people have to like it before they can invest in it they wouldn't do it as well like it they'll have to like it as much as transfer maker because when i say the next transamerica
Starting point is 03:20:53 you think i'm what you think randy asking when you are when you said when you ask what could be the next transgender maker i'm thinking you know what's the next start that can give you a hundred percent or over 100 percent gain yeah i see i see i see where ncb came close close to doing that this year for people now we're talking about few we're talking about right now you have the money no no yeah Monday Monday's in your trade you can go right back in so not what happened in the past like what what what can give you over the next year an X um hundred I mean and I'll tell you this also welcome you're at the part of investing where you still have to pay a 30 to the percentage but it matters less
Starting point is 03:21:42 figure what I mean. Yeah. You made 300% you had 18 now, but, you know, one million is still, I don't know how rich you are, but I, one million is still a lot of money, you know, two million is sell a lot of money. 500K still a lot of money, but 500K against the 18 is, um, is, is, you know, not, not as, just, that's, that's, that I did that right? Yeah. Wow, 3%.
Starting point is 03:22:18 Half a million dollars for you is 3% against your 18. I know I're taking away you 6. I'm sorry. Half a million dollars for you is two. Yeah, less than, yes, is 3.5%. 3.2% if you broke off. I think I think that NCB could do that. It could handle the volumes.
Starting point is 03:22:45 It could give me that kind of gain. a similar game to trans-jamaica true I'll give you one tip for free you say you've done grow I don't know how true it is but you know yeah in 2022 well I've taken a hundred percent of the praise for this then you're another girl here congrats um but congrats to me but don't fall into the trap of thinking that you need to do it the same way again every time meaning the 18 need to go in and then the 18 become 36 and the whole it's you're not going to be able to cash out
Starting point is 03:23:23 36 out of many things in one go or even two goes or three goes definitely like there's not many stocks that you could catch 14 yeah yeah yeah that's that's why I asked about the diversification initially and also
Starting point is 03:23:42 why I was saying that um omni can't couldn't handle the volume some some stocks can't handle that much that much money you have 18 million you call the broker they might give they might they might be interested in finding them for you yeah there they will be yeah but but what i don't think you hearing what i'm saying to you you might need to get used to the idea of not going all in complete gain all out at this level at your
Starting point is 03:24:17 No, you can't. There's not that many things that are going to be able to give you that. In one go, very, very, very few things that are going to be able to give you that. It means now that you're going to have to find an abiding city. And it could be Trans-Jamaica again, which, you know, the volumes, if what's being done continues to be done. Strong volumes, yeah, but you're going to need to find somewhere. and you're going to need to be comfortable with the idea of I can't get all of my shares out in one go even when it's great even when it's high you you can go in something and get the 100 percent again but I can't cash our 36 out or if I'm cash in the 36 out I'm not getting 100
Starting point is 03:25:02 I'm getting 50 or 40 or whatever by virtue of the fact that you have such a heavy holding it is what it is unless you're going to leave the stock market alone I don't think you're going to do that I don't think that I don't think that would be sensible. No, no, I wouldn't do that. Yeah, yeah. The bug has bit me completely, man. Yeah, so consider your options. And I'd also believe turn at that.
Starting point is 03:25:27 I'd also tell you to truly, you are, you can know truly think long term, meaning true long term. I hate the term, but you can truly think. I also hate short term. You can truly think long term. And you can think, like I just showed you, 3.7% after taxes and fees is 500 grand for you. So, well, depending your broker, it might even be low. It might not even be three.
Starting point is 03:25:55 So 3%. So if you find the right abiding city and you're in it, and it goes up 3% above where you bought it. You can just cash out half a million and that's pure profit for you. And that's cash that you can use for whatever you want, or going to something else. But like your investment strategy may now need to adjust what are you doing. Unless you're going right back into Trans-Gamaca, in which case, hey, I'm not even going to say not to do that. But then I can help you best if you know your whole portfolio, I can't. But consider what I'm saying.
Starting point is 03:26:32 If you're going somewhere else, let go the idea of, oh, I can't. You know, the queue can take it. The queue can take it. Yes, you're going to have to buy a lot, but you're buying something to say that, hey, this is a cornerstone of mine. This is a holding of mine. This is one of my keystone holdings. I'm not trying to come out of it immediately.
Starting point is 03:26:52 I'm not trying to come out of it all in one go. It's a shift. It's a second shift that you have to do in your thinking. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Those are some good tips. And I am interested in talking to, then I.
Starting point is 03:27:14 Well, you certainly can afford it. I'm already in a bus. Yeah. I feel, yeah, I'm actually done grow all you want to do it. And even if you have done it, you probably need to do it differently now. If you've done it, you should probably try to advance grow. You specifically, I think, would benefit from a further group of investors who are serious about the market and on it. And are listening to you now.
Starting point is 03:27:43 Yeah, yeah, you're very popular in the group. So you're very popular there. Yeah, but congrats, congrats. I'm happy to, I'm happy to hear it. You and everybody else, I'm happy to hear it. And for you, I will tell you to think about what your next step is. Yeah, yeah, I'm thinking about that is what people forget. So that's again, Danai.
Starting point is 03:28:11 We weren't hearing you all of us. play there's a next way people often forget yeah yeah yeah yeah the one is a really hard part and you know i i i see people saying that they think that trans jamaica is going to go back to nine or ten dollars but when you when you look at the the price history when you look at the line it it doesn't really pull back that far and it's it's it's where is it now it's at twelve it usually it usually pulls back at foot at two to like one it goes down one or two dollars so I don't know if it can't go back to $9 realistically so you're going right back in soon then
Starting point is 03:29:02 yeah my order is in the queue already oh Lord for the full amount yeah the full amount well I might I might I might decrease it a bit You know, just to put some in Omni.
Starting point is 03:29:26 60.4. So you're at? No, that's not you. I'm sorry. Wait, you put a full amount in one. You want to tell me what it is, saving the trouble are looking? 9.65. $9.65?
Starting point is 03:29:42 Yeah. The biggest one, the biggest one. Drunk hearing. By Q. Say that again. Say that again. Oh, bye Q. Like you.
Starting point is 03:29:55 Yeah, sorry. You say I'm so used to looking at the sell cute, so what's an offer. Wow. But that's such a weird, not weird, but why did you pick that price? Well, there's no way to tell if it can go, you know why I pick that price? Because of the support. And based on the millions of units that trade every day,
Starting point is 03:30:31 I think and a lot of people own many millions of units. So I think it's possible to go down to that level. I'm not saying it could happen. It would definitely happen. But there's a lot of support there in the $9. There's a lot of support in the $9. Okay. A lot of support at the $9 level.
Starting point is 03:31:11 I don't know how that that really is why you picked it. Yeah, that's that's that's the reason. And that's the reason you're giving, but I don't feel like that's the reason why you picked it. I hope that the support could hold it at the nine at nine dollars in the nine dollar region. But you are being part of that support at nine 65. Yes. Uh-huh. Why nine?
Starting point is 03:31:45 Why wouldn't you go to ten? Why wouldn't, why would you? And that's deep in the. And the brok a link is at, the last brokalingt, I think, is at 11. No, I'm sorry, 1075, 1030, and then 950, a 95, and 9.61, and you're at 965. Well, okay, for a moment. I mean, I hope you make, I hope you turn 18 into, into 36, as you say. Ben.
Starting point is 03:32:28 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, one and one last thing. I already mentioned, you know, you asked, I think his name was villain.
Starting point is 03:32:41 You're asking him, what he would do in the case? Supervillain, yeah. What he would do in the case of a flash drop? Mm-hmm. You know, and earlier I was saying, you know,
Starting point is 03:32:53 there are people, there are people in TJs that own many millions. Mm-hmm. Many millions of units. Oh, including him, yeah. So what would he do in that case if it fell down to his buy price or even low, you know, in one day? And so like him do have an issue buying more.
Starting point is 03:33:20 I mean, some of us expected to fall. Obviously, you expected to fall too. You click the fall immediately, too. He sounds like he has no issue buying more. I was saying the same thing to him as asking him, why wouldn't he buy more? Why would he not sell more and buy it? You know, you heard what you heard about him being, if you are on the selling. I mean, I'm not like that.
Starting point is 03:33:52 I mean, I'd have, I'll tell you this, you guys heard us last week. Last week I said I wasn't, I didn't own any. And I don't, I'm trying to lie, I'm not lying. So I didn't own any Friday. bought. But then the thing is that, or you're about this is something? No, I just think I bought it. So. Yeah, the thing is that predicting a dip, it can be challenging to do that. Sometimes.
Starting point is 03:34:26 Yeah, and if it's, if it's not easy, then, then, you know, why take that risk of getting it wrong? that's that's that's that's that's that's all risk work you go for you know you know you're taking the risk you know that's a big deal you're going for something it can work and it can not work he knows that when he's doing it but he knows that if it does work out then he's pretty satisfied yeah I mean predicting our dip is as hard as predicting our eyes yeah in fact no he's just pretty deep he's just pretty deep same happy yeah I'm more confident than the falls on the rise.
Starting point is 03:35:12 Hmm. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I agree. It's easier to predict a dip. Much easier to predict a dip. I think it's more because it would be far as way easier.
Starting point is 03:35:23 Yeah. So much fear is involved in a dip. Like for this, as I told him, if you're listening, as I told him that it is left to just us retail, it's going back to one. Retail have not,
Starting point is 03:35:36 retail cannot and will not hold it. or if I'm being fair retail will hold it but they're not holding it at 12 nobody wants that 12 I said nobody wants that 12 but so so what you're saying is that retail pushed it you're saying retail pushed it to 12 but they're not the ones holding it there I don't never say that he knows better he knows that I don't retail has almost nothing to do with this just be happy that you're along for the ride So that's my message to all retail, myself included. Because I am a transgender shareholder as we speak.
Starting point is 03:36:16 I didn't sell all. I sold some with the expectation that it's going to fall more. But no, you're saying this for a minute. You're such a rich man investing. I forgot follow you. Yeah, man, I can't sell everything one day. I can. I probably won't.
Starting point is 03:36:38 But I can. No, I probably will. I probably will. But I probably, for me, it's a volatile stuff and it's predictably volatile. So I didn't sell accidentally. I actually bought more today, too. So I bought cheap to, I bought that like $11 and change. So.
Starting point is 03:37:02 Agreed here, Randy. I know if I'm greedy, but $11 out is a good price. so why not why not so for a moment outside so you really just going right back into Transjamaica then yeah
Starting point is 03:37:22 yeah you're going right back in there so all that stuff about Omni and what else NCB IPO well Omni would have been the most all that's about Omni and all that's up is that's that way I
Starting point is 03:37:41 well I I might shave some of the profit off and put it in Omni I might do that and then NCB no I'm still bullish on on Transjama
Starting point is 03:37:58 so is NCB I think and so am I yeah so am I somebody have 10.4 million units to buy at 960 A good thing you went above their order down for a moment. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 03:38:19 Yeah, I saw that. Do you think they're crazy? Do you think they're crazy for thinking that it would go back to it? It's going to go to $9.6. I think people with 90-odd million aren't crazy. Yeah, I mean, people with 90-odd million aren't crazy. I think people like that are sensible and understand the reality of the market. share price is not magic.
Starting point is 03:38:51 Yeah. Obviously, you're not crazy. You play one on the internet, but you're not crazy at all. Again, as I note, this is the support that you're making sure to be ahead of. Yeah. I guess your co-workers is here, too. 800 and not as rich as you, though. Or is that just you too?
Starting point is 03:39:11 No. Heading your bets. No, I don't know who the other people are. Well, I'm happy, I'm happy that you're doing it. I'm happy that you're gaining so much. And I want to continue to gain and I hope other people also continue to gain. Yeah, I hope other people also continue to gain. And I hope there is no crazy worry if and when the share price falls because it's likely to fall.
Starting point is 03:39:40 It's how it works. And for all the people who are saying that, and which they did buy them, should they buy. It's easy to get shares. If you want shares Monday morning first thing, they're in the cell queue. And if you're willing to wait a little bit, you can put in your order at a lower price. And if it trade down, you'll get it. For a minute, I didn't quote you to get on my money, JA account, a premium one. You can afford it.
Starting point is 03:40:04 It's too, at your level, it's too cheap, actually. It actually is too cheap. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was thinking about getting one at one. Treat yourself. Why not? You only live once. Yeah, treat yourself. You might be, you might be, um, impressed or surprise at what allows you to do. Although again, you may not even need it, but you might see. Who knows? Who knows? Consider it. And if you did grow, you also have a discount to do it to this already. So even get it with a discount. Why not? If you don't have one already, that is. Congrats, my brother. I'm so happy to hear that you.
Starting point is 03:40:51 me this kind of profit and looking for more yeah man yeah man i appreciate it but yeah it um was good talking to you guys and good to hear of your profit my brother yeah excellent to hear of your profit very very very excellent to hear your profit um i'm always happy to hear another person making a lot of money right and give some away too you know give spend some give away give cause. Yeah, man. Do a good cause. I don't mean like just walk on the road and dash away. But it cars don't give me no money.
Starting point is 03:41:36 You might be surprised. You might be surprised. You might be surprised. Give some away. I mean, again, I don't mean walk on the road and dash away. But just use a little bit and help somebody. I don't know if you ever. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I don't disagree with that. 20 grand. 20 grand other change my life.
Starting point is 03:41:59 I don't mean, again, not giving it away for any random. All right. So I'm gonna. Mad reason for us find somebody who really can use it. Like, you know, for me, my little personal thing is like I like to see somebody doing something and I know that X, Y, Z would help them.
Starting point is 03:42:15 You just help, just help with that. I didn't, sometimes I didn't say. Sometimes I don't say it. Sometimes I'll, maybe I'll buy something or I'll pay for something. All right. You never know. Somebody customer to pick up something and it was already paid for or somebody needs some money and then get it and I've given people money and
Starting point is 03:42:38 tell them to somebody gave me to give them and it's weird it's a lie I like to lie. But getting the money and telling them that somebody gave me the money to give them and asked me to not tell them, which is kind of true because it's me asking me to not give them. But the point is, just help somebody. 18-point ad you have no excuses either 50 grand somebody and spend some more in yourself than just the burger it's good to spend some money that you've made on the market on yourself if you haven't it does it does something to the mind it's just consider that yeah yeah although i feel like i don't need to tell that you know that it's on like you're saying
Starting point is 03:43:20 you know with great great power comes great responsibility yeah yeah that 18 man is gonna go somewhere you know, make sure it's somewhere that you, is good and helpful for you and everybody. But one way or another, it's going to go somewhere. Michael makes you continue my second girlfriend, you know, bro. Hey, do it. You hear it. You hear Christophan say. Just do it. Yeah, Christophton. Listen, a lot of people grow up on a lot less than that. So, hey, do your part.
Starting point is 03:43:57 You can do your part twice. All right, I look into it. You look into it. All right, boss. All right, boss. Yeah, all right. So, yeah, I'm going to, I'm going to jump from. Big up, big up, big up, big up.
Starting point is 03:44:17 Big up. All right. I'm congrats again on the profit. Oh, boy, that retreat for everybody. All right. All right. We've touched a lot of things. I want to go all night.
Starting point is 03:44:31 Anybody have any last things they want to say, no, it's the time to send a speaker request. Any last thing you want to talk? about no time send the speak request because after this we're wrapping up. I just want to make sure I touch the points again on that whole idea of financial independence. You made a lot of money in trying to make a congrats. You're not, well, I don't know much money you've made. I can't speak for everybody, so I'm not saying that you are not, are or are not financially independent, but you certainly further along the way. Don't be afraid
Starting point is 03:44:58 to sell. The biggest fear I think around people not selling is I don't want to sell now and it up. If you sell some and you're in profit and it go up, yeah, you cash out your profit to cycle. If you really bothers you, don't sell all, sell some. But if you, the less you know, the more, in my view, the more important it is for you to diversify. Like Warren Buffett says diversification is great for people who don't know what they're doing. If you don't really know what you're doing, Warren Buffett says diversification is great for people who don't know what they're doing. It's perfectly okay to go into something else. And it's also perfectly okay to catch it all out.
Starting point is 03:45:40 And it's also perfectly okay to not catch it out, but go into it with a clear mind or the eyes open. Don't be freaked out if it falls. This is what happens. This is a lot of profit for a lot of people to keep looking at and deciding to not take that cannot last. it's it's not humanly I want to say yeah I can't see my fellow Jamaicans looking at this kind of profit and not taking it and also remember that most people most retail investors are not involved in this at all
Starting point is 03:46:20 no I mean I'm not responsible like there are bigger things happening than most people are aware of and most people speak of right It's not you and me sending it up to 12 or 15 or whatever. And it's not you and me that will send it down to permanent's expected price either. But it will happen. So the same way you benefited from the thing you never understood is the same way. The thing that you don't understand might happen in that other direction and almost certainly will happen in the other direction. And so there's no shame in taking profit when you're in it, right?
Starting point is 03:46:57 Because the losses aren't easy to go through. So don't, there's no shame in taking profit. And if you're going to keep that money in the market, you want to go somewhere else that can help you. And it's perfectly okay to you. I do grow, I help teach you to understand what to look for, how to look for things, you know, how to actually pay attention to the right things, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 03:47:19 But let's say you are like many people, are you thinking, let's say you're like for a minute, sorry for a moment, but let's say you're like for a minute and it's not enough for me to still paid little money to do grow up. Consider then, even if you're not doing that, whether or not you have the money for grow, consider then what it is that you really want for your money. And if you're really intent to be here for a long time,
Starting point is 03:47:42 then you're going to need money for the whole time. So think about what can I do know that can help me way down the line and it might not be just being in Transamerica. It could be buying one of the bonds. We have a lot of bonds on the market. I have a lot of bonds on our market. No, that's fully and lots of them give you lots of different returns, lots of different levels. 9.75 and the beauty of these bonds is that
Starting point is 03:48:04 the return on them is much more guaranteed than anything else. If you care about dividends, almost every single one of these bonds, is it almost? No, not almost. Every single one of these bonds has a better return to you than every company's dividends if you're buying right now, meaning what you're getting back in dividends is smaller than what you'd be getting back. If you bought one of these bonds, consider one of the bonds. If you don't know what you're doing, it's perfectly fine to have your money giving you back 10% a year. If you're having firmament shoes, his 18 could be giving him back 1.8% a year if you bought this. If you bought the barita 10.10 fixed rate, 2028, and it'd be getting 10% a year,
Starting point is 03:48:53 well, maybe a little different if it's this and whatever. But you don't have to get into the details of it. There's bonds there. There's preference shares there. If you want to say anything, but just going to you with your eyes open. If you can't figure it out or you don't want to figure it out, link that I.
Starting point is 03:49:09 Sorry, D-H-H-A-Ladvisory. H-A-H-A-L-A-L-A-V-A-R-A-W-R. If you want to learn about how to do it, Eremaccom slash Grow, G-R-WR. And the next sitting of Grower is the end of this month, August. It's August 20-something.
Starting point is 03:49:26 I want to say August 20. 9th, actually August 29th. It's a nice all day, essentially in front of your computer, the end of the day, you know a whole lot more than you started. And even if you have a lot of knowledge, it's an amazing course. It will help you more than anything else that I can think of. Yeah, I'll go through maybe one or two of these comments. Like I said, if anybody wants to send out in the last five minutes, so just send you speaking requests now. If you have a question now at the time, and I'll just go through one or two of the comments.
Starting point is 03:49:58 what is, travel with Britain and he said, that turned around from them, they should have at least given a statement. What she was talking about Atlantic. It burned me once our state here, especially without an explanation, that's Atlantic. And there are a lot of people thinking that while the retail might not have a lot of power in a, in Trans-Gamacca, we certainly have a lot of power in Atlantic. And a lot of people are asking the same question, so it's for them to speak about. And again, if I'm wrong about this, I don't think I'm wrong, but I'm open to it.
Starting point is 03:50:32 If I'm wrong about this, please let me know because a lot of, a lot of, a lot of, a lot of other investors would love to know this. And I really like Atlantic. I was happy for my investment in Atlantic. I got nice profit off them. And I got out in profit and I would love to go. I love to take some of the profit and go right back in. Interesting notice. She said, again, Travel Britain said,
Starting point is 03:50:59 JSC said the company is the one to disclose that. So if they don't come out and say, we have to read between the lines. Yeah, and reading between the lines is pretty clear. You don't have to read between the line. Like Shea said, the very first line is so clear. It starts with suspended. And that's in the law.
Starting point is 03:51:21 Ingrid, you ask, we're in the you can find information you're going through, but it's confusing. You definitely should come and do grow, Ingrid. I can help you go through it. It can be confusing. And to answer your question early, it wouldn't be in this audited. It would be in the next audited that's come out. That's to come out.
Starting point is 03:51:36 But even before then, there are things that they should, they can and should say, in my view, and a lot of other investors view. They can come out and make it very clear. Or they can stay quiet and it will come out eventually, but there's no hiding it really. It's tax. So you pay in the tax, you pay in the tax, right?
Starting point is 03:51:56 And I stress the audited because the quarterly is, they should not, but being realistic, they are reported with maybe a little looser. The companies don't owe it. They don't give as much detail. They don't give as much detail in the quarterlies as they're doing the audited. And I've seen it's not uncommon for a company to have a mistake in the quarter. is and it has to be fixed in the audited. So I wouldn't watch that.
Starting point is 03:52:31 Read along, you'll see it. Got a big up from Tavares, who also is good to the exercise and feel what your gains are. And Fraterni also said, Dala has been going good since last month. And I see when she said going good, she means the share price. And Tavares, say, Firmament. Treat yourself to a grower class. I agree, firmament. You really should.
Starting point is 03:53:03 Use some of the gains. You won't even know what to see. And Frithani says predicting a dip is definitely easier. Yeah, I agree with that. Bringing that dip is easier because of the fear. In fact, I think everybody's almost always trying to predict a dip. Predicting a dip accurately is easier. but also pretending you don't, you don't grow on now, so you don't know.
Starting point is 03:53:28 But I don't know why you can. I can just hear what them say, and I bricked all and it's not the same. Even when it's the same, it's not the same. Trust me, do grow on, you'll see why. What info do you need to meet with D-Halladvisory.com? It has everything on it, I believe, right, then I? Yep. Yeah, D-Halladvisory.com.
Starting point is 03:53:50 A session, and then you pay for session, and you see the calendar. You can book when you want there. Yeah. Very, very easy. Book consultation and everything after that is cool. It is clear. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:54:16 All right. I don't say anything else. Then I don't know if she will actually jump off, but I'll ask anything in terms of financial independence. you think like it was your message that you want to tell the people the masses of people who are looking at boy bro the same thing i always say you know start investing uh you don't get there without it if if if you don't if you don't if you don't active if you don't actively invest if you're
Starting point is 03:54:45 investing it's not necessarily in a way that's going to pay off where you want it to so start investing figure out a plan figure out what you want for your money and invest towards that and Yeah, what you want for your money, one for your life? Because I think, what's his name said it earlier? Oh boy, with the Christian co-worker. I'm saying, but doctors and lawyers and whatever, as we say, I don't know. It's really experienced.
Starting point is 03:55:13 But yeah, you want to figure out what you do with your money. You want to figure what money does for you and invest towards that. Yeah. Same basis is always, start investing. Yeah. And what about the people who have started though and are, um, yeah, there's been like them, like them to pick up the halfway, they figure out,
Starting point is 03:55:34 they figure out, find out what exactly, you don't get anywhere else that goal. True. Figure out what you want to do, figure out what exactly I need to do. What my money needs to do for me. Am I retiring with this? Am I, is going to go to my house deposit, figure that out, and then figure what I plan towards in it,
Starting point is 03:55:55 what exactly my investments need to do to get there and go along that time. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. And you will be very surprised. It doesn't happen overnight. Even Transylaker was an overnight. It's in trans.
Starting point is 03:56:13 If you look at the actual thing, it took a long time to get to this overnight. And yeah, it doesn't happen overnight. And you can and will be surprised, however, by how quickly it, It don't happen as quickly as you think, but you don't take as long as you're worried that it might take either. Before you know it, you're a lot further along than. And that before you know, it goes both ways. If you don't do it, then before you know it, then you're at the point where you're, prepare to, prepare to, not fail to prepare, then prepare to feel.
Starting point is 03:56:47 Yep. Yep. Yep. The time, the time goes past either way. So do something. Then, then a little bit of the case can with it. And I'll point with again, although Brittany, I realize I'm so Pritani was talking about when she said, She'll hurry up and sell this morning, that was today, because we never did Brick Talk on the holiday. I guess you're worried about a fall in T.J.H. I don't know if you sold or not. That'd be interesting. Should it be here for a minute that he did sell. But what I know is important is that if you have money in Tj. You're excited if you could do not be surprised if and when it falls, right? It could fall Monday.
Starting point is 03:57:35 If the support leaves and the support isn't always there, it could fall. It probably will fall. And then you get faced to that situation where you are having to be honest with yourself about, oh, boy, you remember you said you woulda did buy if it dropped? to the other-kuda-kuda. Yeah, remember that because it might give you that opportunity very, very quickly. It might drop to single digits. And if it does, how much do you love transamerican?
Starting point is 03:58:02 It's the best. Or if you weren't in and you were one-nine, boy, I wish I could bind, but is it too late? Well, if you dropped the nine, like permanent says, then if you drop the nine or then, is it too late? No, it is not what you wanted because back up to 12 is another. Nice, what's that? Nine, for the less than 90. How much?
Starting point is 03:58:26 30. 30. 30. Oh, 9 to 12 is 30. Oh, okay. 20 odd percent and on strong volumes, that's very, very possible on strong volumes. And it has a history of that. So consider, you don't have to have double-digit millions.
Starting point is 03:58:48 You can have $10. He is the cheapest. $12 can buy a Transjamaica stock. One unit is a Transjamaica stock. So, consulate, get into the market. All right. So nobody else has any other questions. And I think that's a great time to call time on this.
Starting point is 03:59:09 Yeah. 1195. Hmm. You think it's going to drop then I? The money question. 1195, 1195 as a top bid, traded down to 12 today. I didn't check throughout the day and nice to see. 17 million units traded today.
Starting point is 03:59:49 35, very interested in the 40% below 10 stills. As we say, you catch your 10, you have to hold it. Back to that psychological point.
