Starting point is 00:00:03 We are back. We are live and we're going deep. Into the finale of Love Island Season 8, USA. And let me just say, thank the Lord this show is over. I could not agree. Thank the Lord this show is over. I can't wait to just dive full fours into Love Island, UK. How much more is in the UK?
Starting point is 00:00:31 I thought, I thought this was going to be so fun. Is this too bad? And it wasn't fun. No, you actually can't hear it on the other end. Okay. It's amazing. Yeah. I don't know how many more episodes there are.
Starting point is 00:00:43 I'm a little behind, but it's, like, I'm only like 13 episodes in and I could not. We asked all of our listeners and their followers, should we do USA or UK and USA1 and I can't believe it. It's like very popular now and people realize the difference. I mean, look at all the celebrity cameos. This show is like huge Numbies You know Kendall Jenner is on there watching her boy Bryce Wait are they boys
Starting point is 00:01:12 Was she a- Not see the Tumblr photos of them back Like he was a Tumblr famous guy Oh was she one of the celebrity cameos? No but I know she's watching Bryce I'm gonna be honest I really tuned out during that part I wasn't paying attention About the celebrity roll call
Starting point is 00:01:26 Yeah dude the celebrity roll call You weren't paying attention at all The celebrity role pop I have very serious ice cream discussion That's true. Actually, he was. We got somber. That was gas. That was, I don't think, there's no way he watches. What? Which one was somber? I don't know what somber looks like. Somber is, he's like a skinny little white dude with curly black hair.
Starting point is 00:01:49 Cool. We saw that. I didn't, I remember I went to, that was an incredible show. I went to DJ Snake. It's an interesting journey to talk about. As we've said on all of our reviews, these are real people. We send our love and nothing but the best. all of these people. So it's kind of weird to dissect it all. And it's crazy. It's, it's, uh, reality television. It's a wild world.
Starting point is 00:02:11 These people are put in prison and this villa with no internet, no contact to the outside world and they're forced to fall in love. It's a crazy journey. But I'll tell you what. The US version was just so different from the UK for me. This experience was at times, uh, traumatic. It was at times scary and spooky. And I feel like the UK of Ireland
Starting point is 00:02:34 has only ever been fun and funny to me. Yeah, I mean, I have a little bit of insider information as to why that may be the case. Whoa, okay. There is on the UK now a team of mental health professionals. Like, there's like a whole thing going on there because they've had some previous, like, unfortunate... Yes, there's a lot of dark history behind the show on both sides.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Yeah, so now, you know, UK has a whole mental health team. US does not. They have one therapist, and the therapist kind of like uses what they say to manipulate it. No. The therapist goes right to the producers and goes amazing. I have a great idea for a challenge.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Good, Lord Almighty. That's horrifying. That is incredible. That is incredible intel. Where did you get that? Or can you not reveal your... Emily is a Love Island specialist. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:28 You know, you're going to not reveal my sword. That's a good journalist. That was a test. I mean... Uh, Bryce and Trinity, Brinity forever. Hey, Grant, can I get this camera please? Yep. We got, I wore, I wore my Bryce headband. I wore my Brinity headband.
Starting point is 00:03:45 I don't know. Your Bryce band. You're Bryce band. Well, it's Bryce, but it's for Brinity. And Emily made me rub it before they announced a winner. And I believe that made all the difference. That was the win that we all won. We were all team Brinidad, correct?
Starting point is 00:03:58 Oh my God, dude. Can you literally imagine someone else winning that? Sandra said it best. She looked at me and goes, imagine what Bryce and Trinity's face would look like if they announced any of the other three couples. They,
Starting point is 00:04:10 how they would have reacted. We've talked a lot about the, I mean, well, unfortunately, Danny is not with us. Danny's in Arizona with his family. Shout out Danny. And Danny is,
Starting point is 00:04:21 Danny Sharp, as you know. Yep. Danny was sharp on the producer involvement in this show. And I will say, good producing, they made a strong push to make Carl and Anaya win at the end there.
Starting point is 00:04:34 The fact that Carl and Anaya's date was 5x longer than everyone else's date with a full-on folklore storybook fairy tale connected to their journey. That was a special. Dude, it is funny. I wonder what you think about this. And I'll kind of get into a point of this in a second. But the date, you know, when you're a senior, your spring grades don't matter. Like your applications are out.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Yeah. You know, the voting that America does is after that Friday episode. So everything they show us tonight doesn't impact America's vote. Like everyone in America has already voted, the vote is closed. Yeah. So at that point, going into this episode, the producers are well aware of who is one. And not only that, but who is second, who is whatever. So it's kind of funny that they're like, who went first, Zach and Keda, right?
Starting point is 00:05:28 Yeah. Or no, no, Melanie and sincere first. but they're like Melanie needs and Steve. Oh, sorry, their date? Yeah. Yes, yes. It's like Melanie needs its ears. Zach and Kada, like, we took you on a boat to lunch.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Here you go. Yeah. And then, and I and called, they're like, hey, someone on production made this book. And like, and, and, and someone did that. That was someone's jaw. Strait in this book. Someone was hired to make. Mind you, like how Carl and mind.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Yeah. Yeah. And then, and then Price and Trinity get like a Hawaiian hooland, yeah, a Lua show. I'm like, obviously these two are first and second. The level of date they got was so much higher than the boat to lunch and back. Imagine being a professional illustrator. I'm imagining this wasn't AI. I hope not at least.
Starting point is 00:06:16 And you get a call from Peacock. And they go, hey, Zach, you're an amazing illustrator. We'd love to hire you for a production. And they go, oh, my God, I did it. I finally did it. I'm going to be one of the illustrators on a new hit peacock show. And they go, we would actually like you to illustrate a fairy tale book of Carl and Anaya's romance on Love Island.
Starting point is 00:06:41 USA season. The illustration book was insane. I was laughing too because the pictures, the cast members haven't seen the show, obviously. They have lived it. So they, the still images they get to illustrate are clips from like what we see on. TV.
Starting point is 00:07:00 Yeah. So it must be so funny to be like, you know, it's like anaya straddling Carl and say less like from behind. And she's like, oh, yeah. I guess that's what that looked like on TV. When they were doing their montage and they brought back the yelling at KC. moment of like, you didn't pick me as if Carl rode in on a white horse. And I was just like, man, this is the journey here is.
Starting point is 00:07:25 The way the producers just manufacture everything for all of them is really special. It was crazy that in that last montage of Memory Lane, the, uh, they showed that clip. Yeah. And I'm calling, it's okay. And I, as if that was like so sweet. And they also showed the, um, the Melanie and Sincere like bad. I forget which one it was, but they showed a bad moment. I think it was her screaming at him too.
Starting point is 00:07:48 And picking, yeah, yeah, it was the pick me, being picked is not the prize. And then it was like, cut to him with the rose. And they were like, oh, yeah, amazing. But I was like, I don't know that they had to rewatch this. Isn't it stunning? That, by the way, did you guys see all of those brands reaching out to Melanie being like, we will give you free stuff if you dumps. No way.
Starting point is 00:08:07 They touched on an after son and the hosts of Afterson were getting like emotional because the one, I think her name's Tuffy, if I hopefully. Yeah, yeah. She was just like all these brands need to stop doing that because it's like you got to let the girl live. She's 25 years old. She's going to make mistakes in life. and like to offer her free things for like leaving a man that she has healings for is like, I guess fucked up.
Starting point is 00:08:36 I don't know. I don't really know how I feel about it. I don't know. Yeah. I think it's sunny. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:44 I don't think anybody should be taking it seriously. I mean, like I said in our last recap, like she's going to have to figure it out of herself. Correct. And you're absolutely right about that. And she is not going after her hearing. her sister and her mother say, leave this man's ass. She is not going to do it for
Starting point is 00:09:03 Gimeland or a free cruise or... Free cruise, that might be gas. Oh, there were... When Ben and Jerry's is like, we'll offer you a year full of free pints. I'm like, I don't know that that's going to do it. We're fine. But it was a lot. It was a lot of brands.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Really? Yeah. It was like becoming the cool online trend of brands to do. Okay, so we'll break down the winner. We're all thrilled. I want to go back. This is a two app, Livy. Yeah, I just want to go back to that second to last app.
Starting point is 00:09:32 You guys in our last review were like, I fast forward the challenges. And I was like, oh, I don't. I kind of watched them. And then in that app, it was the most obscene food. It was like 40 minutes of the most outrageous challenge for no reason I've ever seen. I, I, like, I don't understand the purpose of this challenge other than to be disgusting. Like it's not like they're the challenges are supposed to be to like stir up some drama. Yeah. Who's going to kiss who? What can we find out about like what people are saying on the outside?
Starting point is 00:10:07 They'll do, you know, there's the most popular challenge that they did not do called the truth bike, which is like where someone sits on this bike and starts randomly pedaling. It does not move. I don't really know why they're doing a bike, but they do a fucking bike. Okay. And anyone in the villa or sometimes they'll bring in old cast members who have gotten done. And anyone in the villa can sit there and ask the person on the truth by a question and they have to be honest about it. So they'll be like, did you actually have feelings for Melanie the way you said you did? Or were you actually giving her and soul? And like you just have to be honest. Yeah. It's shit like that that makes these challenges like juicy and then make the show good.
Starting point is 00:10:50 And not once in this fucking challenge that I see anything other than. mono and sharing of juices and... Yeah. It was an episode of Fear Factor. They were like, or you could... Trist off a fish head down your mouth. Ask me if I watched collectively more than 30 seconds of that. Dude, it was crazy.
Starting point is 00:11:12 And it was on in the background and I don't even remember what I was doing. I think I was playing FIFA. No joke. Honest to God, I think I turned and went, I'm going to play some FIFA during this because Emily is right. It was so pointless. It was truly to fill 30 minutes of an episode. And I was like, a waste.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I was like, I am done. I would rather, remember the early episodes where we got information where Trinity sucked her boyfriends, pee with her mother in the car? I'd rather more stuff like that. Of course. Like do more challenges. Don't even make it juicy drama amongst each other. Just tell like funny stories of shit you guys have done.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Yeah. Then we get to know you better and we all have laughs together. That was when the show was fun. And this was just, yeah, they were. all just being like, this is disgusting. I'm physically ill right now. I feel like we didn't learn anything new after Family Day. Like literally after Family Day, I feel like we just repeated the same.
Starting point is 00:12:04 I'm grateful. Thank you for being here. Please love me. Over and over and over again. Our connection is so strong. I'm grateful we made it this far. I've learned so much about you. You're the prize.
Starting point is 00:12:13 I don't even, I've already won. I've already won. That's like, oh my God. You all can't say. You already won and you are the price. Do you think that they get fed buzz buzzword? I have to say, for sure. Stuff at the end, or are they all just pros?
Starting point is 00:12:28 I mean, there's nothing else to say in that moment when they're like, how do you feel that you just fucking lost $100,000? You're going to say, you're not going to say, I'm fucking pissed and like that's a fake one. You're going to say, I already feel like I won with my new girlfriend who's not my girlfriend because we're just only closed off. Yeah, yeah. It's true. Okay, so after.
Starting point is 00:12:50 And I'm not going to say I love you, even though it's on the tip of my towel. when I guess, oh, it's a tip of my tongue. I was like, what are you fucking talking about, dude? You can't, like, imagine saying to your, like, significant other. It's on the tip of my tongue, but I'm not going to think. I will not. You could not make me, but it's right there. Maybe tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:13:08 I don't. I don't want to say at the right time. As if there is a right time. And when you feel something, you fucking feel something. If you feel it because it's on the tip of your tongue, then sorry, just fucking say it. Yeah. Okay, so you actually are leaving insubes. Say it's on the tip of your tongue of it.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Right. Because it feels weird to tease your part. about loving them. You're like, I kind of feel like I don't want to say it, but like, no. Dude, that's exactly like what? Do you love her? He keeps going, I'm so excited. I see you being my girlfriend in the future.
Starting point is 00:13:34 I see that. Yeah. But right now, you're not. You are exclusive. But I see that in our future. And I'm like, what's going on? So that actually brings me to my, a big point I have. In the Fortune cookie dinner where we find out the last two dumped couples.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Yes. Do you think they, production sat them in that order? Or did they just sit down? And then they were like, okay, here's. They definitely sit them in an order. I were just seeing the show, right? So it goes, Carl and Iia, bang, get it, insane. Trinity and Bryce Dudd, then Melanie and Sincere.
Starting point is 00:14:02 So three in a row when they knew there's only four couples. So the first three all win. We've talked about this before, but the Melanian and Sere thing when they get it, and then Anaya and Trinity start jumping up and down being like, I'm so happy for you, is literally so toxic. I actually can't comprehend. Well, yes, listen. Why?
Starting point is 00:14:19 Because they don't like Kenzie and they don't care. No, no. No, no. When Melanines and Sincere got it. And those girls are like, I'm so happy for you, guys. guys, and like, you are bad friends. Yeah. That you're jumping up and down this happy that she's with since.
Starting point is 00:14:29 Listen, we've been through the ringer of that. Yeah, but. There was something in the finale, too, that happened. I forget what it was. Yeah, we've been through the ringer of that, but I have come around to, they love Melanie so much. Okay. They're just great friends with Melanie.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Yeah. And they're like, we just want to see Melanie get to the end here because of the journey she's been on. No, I feel like Anaya is like in love with Cincinnati. here. That may that may not be training again and she was
Starting point is 00:14:58 behind his door. We're definitely hearing that. We're definitely yeah. When they cut to the Oh on, hold on, hold on. Oh no,
Starting point is 00:15:03 we're hearing. I feel like that cop car was going to pull on the fucking garage here. Weirdly enough, like a lot of the stuff that I think you can hear you can. I mean, that's it can hear but it'll be bad.
Starting point is 00:15:12 That you can hear, but most of everything else yeah, I heard. I, that Emily, that may or may or may not be true. But I, I'm trying to look at things from the positive.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I do think the girls are genuinely like that do they just want their homie there. And I'm like, okay, I get that. But I, man, I can't, there's been a lot of journeys on this show. What I think back to us like week one watching Cincere's behavior, him making the final four is like, that's one of the, one of the most generational runs in, uh, in reality TV. Because there's no consequence. He got to do whatever he wanted. All he did was fuck whoever he wanted all show. I'm serious. All show instead of someone being like, oh, I, I
Starting point is 00:15:55 I made it because I was committed. He just got to do whatever he wanted and then a few times go like this. I'm sorry. And then now he's in the, now he made it the whole way. And I'm sorry. It's always been Melanie. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:04 And that's the classic when you feel like you're like Zach, for example, which is where I'm headed. But this is going, what is happening? Like, I'm a good guy and good guys never win because he got to be a bad boy and do whatever he wants. And then there's no consequences and we finish the same. He finished ahead of. I think the K.C. getting voted off the show must look at sincere and be like,
Starting point is 00:16:24 in what world did that man move further than me? I legitimately, we were talking on Kalshi, I thought literally KC and Titi might win. I had a late push that I was like the world. I know a lot of people were voting for that. Yeah, yeah. And I was stunned when they got knocked out in the end deck. Beyond. Who would you have preferred to be off with?
Starting point is 00:16:43 I would go. I would have gone, Carl and I would be immediately. Like they do not even like each other. They have no compatibility. They are not going to be together ever again. Yeah, I think as individuals, very sweet people, but not once have they given each other the fuck me eyes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Which is something you needed in a relationship. And then I guess I would go Melanie and sincere as the other one I would have voted up because I think they're so bad for each other. So you would have kept Kenzie and Dylan? That's the other one where I'm like, I have no issue with them going. However, I did have some justice for Kenzie. I thought she exited very lovely. Like she was just like, so she was like, I'm chill out.
Starting point is 00:17:17 I had a great time. And she wasn't like, she kind of just had fun. It's like, I'm not that mad at her for just having fun on Love Island. It's all she ever did. For sure. Like, listen, I mean, we know, I, I feel like Tyra Banks, when I was rooting for you moment, Kenzie. Because, like, from the early days, I was like,
Starting point is 00:17:38 Kenzie seems like she's fun. Yeah. And it was just all the, like, she would do stuff and then get called out and be like, no, no. Even in, I didn't watch after son, but someone's, they, the host brought up the 2013 vision thing with her. Oh, really? And they were like, you're wrong.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Caleb is right. And, like, Caleb's had a moment. on the internet where he has been being like, I fucking knew I was right. And even then she was like this, no, wrong. I don't think that's what I said. And it's like, what is happening? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:04 But at the end of the day, you're right, dude. Like, Kensey came out and she fucking did her splits and she had a blast. And when she got voted off, she was like, I'm happy. She was like, I'm chilling. And I'm like, you know what? Fuck yeah. Kenzie.
Starting point is 00:18:13 She did splits yesterday and Sabba Surf, which is like down the street. There you go. I did not hear that. But I did you see our fucking girl, Jen and Gall's photo shoot at the shop? I just, I just, I just showed, I don't know who. That is some of the great PR you'll ever see.
Starting point is 00:18:28 I'll show you. Jen went to Girl's coffee show. This place right down the room. Yeah, and they did a photo shoot where she's like throwing coffee in his face and like he's like cleaning up and she's just like being hot. Like doing a fucking model shoot and I'm like, amazing job, YouTube. Great. It's just an amazing post-love island move by this.
Starting point is 00:18:45 She looks hot. She looks amazing in the photos. Amazing. Holy fuck. It's just great, great stuff. Great promo for his. coffee shop. Yep.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Great. It's kind of a cool, like, and also, like, I don't know if you've seen Chris. They, a bunch of, they've posted a bunch of their texts with each other of, like, him getting dragged online. Really? So, like, they're clearly friendly. I think they're going to be great. I think that's really lovely.
Starting point is 00:19:09 You know what's actually crazy, too, is Jen, when she got on the show, this is maybe a good, well, I don't know how to think about this, but when she came on the show and Bryce is like, I know her. Do you remember that? Yeah. So, locked down and Bryce was like, oh, fuck, I know her. I was like, oh, no, because I was such a brinnity guy. I was like, great. He used to be a man.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. And then Trinity's like, how do you know her? And he's like, she's also a model. We've just done photo shoots together. But I've never, you know, we've never hooked up or anything. Yeah. And when he said that, I was like, Jen is a model.
Starting point is 00:19:38 And obviously, she's super, has huge boobs, you know. So I get that a part of it. Obviously, she has some of the biggest boobs I've ever seen in my life. It's insane. Natural too. Yeah, on the show, heavy natties? On the show, I'm, I purses as a me opinion, on the show, I wasn't like, oh my God, Jen is an absolute missile.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Of course, she's a model. That was my opinion upon seeing her on the show. But then you look at that photo shoot and I'm like, No, her photos on Instagram, she's very photogenic. Yeah, like that is, that is, she went up 10 rungs in that photo shoot compared to how she looks on the show. Anaya looks very different on her Instagram, too. But she just has, like, different hair styles going on that.
Starting point is 00:20:16 And Jeb only seen like. I think Anaya has got some of the best eyes you will ever see. What about Kenzie? Kenzie's got witch eyes. Yeah, yeah, that's nice. Not in a bad way. I love you. I'm a Harry Potter guy.
Starting point is 00:20:26 But, like, Kenzie's eyes are so piercing and, like, they'll hypnotize you. Anaya's eyes are, like, sweet. She looks like Cleopatra. Yeah. Like, it's just like, every time. Yeah. So, Justice for Kenzie, I actually did one more clam-slam at Savvy's, and that's awesome. But the...
Starting point is 00:20:41 That's got to be one of the funniest terms I've ever heard. Yeah, it's amazing. Clam's incredible. So then Casey and Titi, you were also rattled. T.T. Oh, T-T. You a little girl. You a little girl.
Starting point is 00:20:51 You a little girl. You a little girl. That was, that I was, I don't even know you, bitch. I was shaking in my, actually when she said, well, now you're talking to me. Yeah. I was like, or was it the other way around? She was like, I'm not even talking to you. And what, I don't know, whatever shit.
Starting point is 00:21:04 I was like, oh, my God, oh, shit. Like Danny, she had won, she'd won on five all that. He did, no problem. Ready to 1 v5, everyone. So, yeah, but you were rattled when Casey and Tee were knocked up. Beyond, beyond. I thought it should have been either Carl and Ia or. But once, once those three were in, once Carl and I, Bryce and Trinity, Melanie and to C were in,
Starting point is 00:21:22 Kenzie and Dylan obviously dead. Didn't you think it was going to be Kada and Zach out? Yes, yes, 100%. Because I think a lot of people can take the, you know, we're not going to be in a relationship yet thing and then becoming closed off as like, meh, do you really like each other that much? Which, like, I don't know if I agree with.
Starting point is 00:21:41 I think, like, they live in different countries. I think it's a very difficult, I think I commend them for taking it more seriously than... what you should be doing on the show in order to get further or just because it makes sense. I think they're taking it a lot more seriously in terms of like, you know, this being boyfriend and girlfriend means a lot to us. And like, let's just make sure that it'll work on the outside. Let's like test it out before we put the title on it, which like I'm okay with.
Starting point is 00:22:13 But I don't know, I don't like it just doesn't look good for them on the show. Okay. So that was going to be my question actually. I thought, because I soured on them as a couple. I've said a million times. I love Zach when he's like hanging with Bryce and with the boys. I haven't liked them as a couple lately. And after Friday night's episode, I was the most mad at them as a couple. When they made it over Casey and TT, I was like, what are we doing here? Like, this is such a clown show. But as I sat with it, I was like, why? Why do I I think that, I guess? And I was curious if you guys thought, Jack. Good for you. Yeah. I was curious if you guys thought Zatzko signed their death warrant by doing stuff like that, by going,
Starting point is 00:22:56 you're not my girlfriend. I'm not willing to say you're my girlfriend. Well, everyone else is like, girlfriend, girlfriend, girlfriend. You know, you know what? I would, I would have preferred him to, the way that the conversations went with like, you know, L word on the tip of my tongue and like, but I'm not going to say it now. And, you know, I see you being my girlfriend, but I'm not going to say it now. It's almost would have been better if he was like, I want you to be my girlfriend. I don't want, I want it to be a special private moment and I don't want to take away from other people's thunder from the two other couples that became boyfriend or girl, but I don't want to it to appear like I'm following a trend. So I'd like to wait till we're on the outside. But just now, I'm not going to be speaking to anybody else. Yeah. I think, well said, I think they suffered post-movie night. I think the, the, the, the, the, the, the moment where
Starting point is 00:23:52 Kada was like doing mental gymnastics of like, wait a minute. Why did that girl get kid? Why was that girl? Like she didn't pick me. The way she handled it. Then the way she responded
Starting point is 00:24:03 to being voted in like the bottom four. I think Kada. That's what you're, Raquel was asking why? That's when I saturned on Kada when she was like, how the fuck are we not a top couple? I think Kada just has like very real feelings for Zach.
Starting point is 00:24:16 And I think all of those things combined combusted into a lot of emotions for her and her not really being able to pinpoint what was upsetting her most and it made them both behave a certain way and I actually thought Emily last episode explained really really well the no girlfriend label thing is odd
Starting point is 00:24:36 but like it's understandable that's a thing and I should think there was too much going on for the two of them they had too many things all at once that made them both behave in a way that I think made them look a little more fractured than they are. What about the fact, like me personally, I never felt like it felt real.
Starting point is 00:24:52 I feel like, yeah, to me it felt a little bit, like the energy from them felt like friends that were on a dating show to win money. I never felt romantic energy between them. Obviously, we have the theories about Zach, but I feel like I had some questions. It was more like a best friend energy, you know what I mean? Dude. I could see that. Yeah, so here's my take, that you two can, because I'm. I'm not all the way with you, Grant, but I'm part of the way.
Starting point is 00:25:20 I think that Kada really wanted to win, maybe more than Zach did. Like, Zach was like, whatever. But I think Kada was bummed about that. But I don't falter for that. Whatever. I thought Kada really liked him, like, legitimately, I said this last step. If he had said, be my girlfriend. She would have gone, yes.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Yeah. Yeah, yeah. It really liked him. I think Zach doesn't like her that much. And we can, like, I've been joking with the whole time. And I'm like, because he's in love with Bryce. Yeah. Even ignoring that, I think even there was a line, Locke's pointed this, I'll give you two lines,
Starting point is 00:25:52 locks pointed one out and I caught the other one. When she comes down the stairs, maybe edited out, but when she comes down the stairs, she goes, oh my God, you look amazing. He's in that black tucks, and he doesn't say a word back. But that might be the edit. I agree. I said it might be edited out. And then even more importantly, when Ariana is at the end, like, what do you guys think? He goes, I'm just so glad I've got a hottest fuck girlfriend or a hottest fuck girl. Like, I think legitimately Zach just thinks Kate is super hot. So he's like, I like her. in an arm candy way. She really likes him.
Starting point is 00:26:20 That's just my take. She really likes him. He likes how hot she is. Because he's in love of price. Yeah, he's in love of price. Or the idea of meeting anyone else on the outside. Or maybe he just wanted to get further than his brother. I feel like they have a very weird competitive thing going on.
Starting point is 00:26:38 And he knew that if he's stuck with, because mind you, he probably knows all the ins and outs of the show. Like the loopholes, the what goes on. He knows more than anyone else walking into that villa because of his brother. So, like, he probably is thinking a little more strategically than the rest of everyone in there. Do I think that that's, like, why he moved the way he did maybe a little but not, like, fully? I think he, I think they like to. Yeah, but I agree. I can see where your point is, Zach.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Like, I think that if there were a hot-ass guy bombshell walking in, that was. all for Kada, like there's, and that was her type to a T, there's, there could be some swaying and same way. From her or two, you think. Yeah. Yeah. And imagine they put in a British girl in there who lives in the same neighborhood. Yeah, true. Who was like his type. Like, I'm sorry, but there would be some swaying happening. I, they just didn't do that enough this. He's because they suck. Yeah. I, we kind of used, I think that they should introduce new bombshells literally every episode. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. Well, she totally. They do that. They do that. on UK pretty much. There need to be
Starting point is 00:27:49 more bombshells. Why do we think they did it? Is that a fair question asked? Why do you think they chose to not add as many bombshells? I don't know. But it's like this season desperately needed more bombshells. You could go through and pinpoint every time where the
Starting point is 00:28:05 episodes were getting so stale and it was like please bring new people into this fucking show. I think you're being harsh. I think Zach absolutely likes her. I think Zach has a hard time maturely expressing his feelings and that was their downfall sometimes. Yep. So you've got to remember, these people are so fucking young.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Yeah, they're just like, I was actually wondering she, when they were kind of having their moment at the end and he's like, oh, oh, I just want to say this too. In our first review after I saw the first week and they introduced the cast, I said, and I think Sean agreed that I was like, man, I don't think there should be British people on Love Island U.S. Like, it should be people from the USA and like, there's Zach who's British. Like, that's crazy. Yeah, actually they should live here. Okay, so I feel like I don't give a shit where you're from, but it's like, Zach is literally in, lives in Birmingham. And I'm like, go on Love Island, UK. Totally.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Fraud. Makes it so much harder to be like. So stay to go. I'm like, so this is fucked, dude. Yeah. So I thought that was insane. But in that moment when they were talking about. I want to show you England, whatever. Also, that's sorry to interrupt. That is such a crazy, like, I don't know if you are familiar with where Birmingham is, but like, no offense, Birmingham. Yeah, I love Birmingham. Go Villa. But that is a big ask for a girl from New Hampshire to move to Birmingham. So, and same, and vice versa. So, like, that is a very interesting dilemma. Does Charlie live in L.A.? I have no idea. Charlie is.
Starting point is 00:29:43 would make him more likely to move to L.A., but then it's like, you're still on the end of the country nature. And Zach had said he wants to go to the States, whatever. But she made a comment that she goes, I want to take you to our family's lake house. We'll go down the jet ski or whatever. And she's from Manchester. Dude, I bet it's Winnie. And I was like, we have a family lake house on Lake Winifasaki, which is like the big lake in New Hampshire.
Starting point is 00:29:59 And I was like, I guarantee Kada's family lake houses on Winifiske. I want to go hang out with her this summer. You probably know. That'd be so epic. Imagine if that's the Zach weekend. You are such a tool. It's unbelievable. I will.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Numbies. I didn't even find her are going. I'm coming. That, yeah. I will say there was one season of Love Island, either was Australia or UK. Oh, no, it was Love Island, UK. And a girl who had previously been on Love Island, Australia, went on a following season of UK. And she is now either married or engaged to someone in there.
Starting point is 00:30:40 It was an Australia, UK moves. So one of them moved. for the other. So there's chances that it happens. It can happen. And I like that they're spicing it up because you know everyone wants to go for the person with the opposing accent, you know? So it's like, yes, it surprises it up, but I don't, you know, honest to God, think that this show needs to every two episodes bring in five new bombshells. And then the next day, they need to do a recoupling. And if you're not a couple, you're off the show. Yeah. It would make the recouplings so Well, when Anaya got not picked by Casey and then she spent that night alone and then they brought
Starting point is 00:31:16 a car back. I agree with you. When the bombshell comes in or you go to CASA or whatever and your couple picks to another person, you're, you were out. Yeah. And I forget who said it. Or again, shout out Lexi. If, I haven't said this to you yet.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Lexi said, if a bombshell comes in and fails, you're gone. You're off the show. Like your whole purpose, literally per the name, is to blow up what's going. going on in the show. And if you fail and don't get picked by someone, bye, you don't get to stay. That's how it should work. We need more mayhem on this show, I think. More dumpings. More bombings. And when you're dumped, you're gone from the show, I think. Like, it should be a, I mean, it's kind of ruthless, but at the same time. But I'm with you, Dad. Just keep it moving. It's like, I feel the gripe with it. And it's, it's, it's, it's, doesn't
Starting point is 00:32:03 not necessarily at all have anything to do with the people on the show. The setup of the show, we just had way too many episodes of nothingness where it was like the same people, nothing new is happening, and that's where I'm like, how do we not have five new people coming into the show right now in this moment? You know what bothers me is that
Starting point is 00:32:21 this was the most watched season of Love Island, USA and history? Yes. And so the producers, all of these decisions are validated. Like, the producers aren't going to go back and change it now. Now that it's been the most watched.
Starting point is 00:32:41 They're like, we did it. But like, I think the next season will be less watched if they keep it this way. Okay. I would hope. Yep. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:49 I like that. Could you make the argument that it almost becomes a sitcom at that point? What do you mean? It's like you're almost bridging the reality between reality TV and sitcom because I feel like this year
Starting point is 00:33:00 is the first year where a lot of people tuned in to seem the same people over and over and over and over again without the bombshells. Oh, yeah. Okay, so I know your point. I was actually thinking that when Dan was talking, where when the show ends, the cast members definitely have a summer camp ending vibe where they're like, best experience ever. I love you guys. Like I don't have you heard Paul. I'll be like, he looked at the boys and he was like, you guys are all going to be groomsmen in my wedding. And I'm like, but I'm like, okay, I get relax. But I'm like, I get that you feel that. And if people were a revolving door in and out and the longest you spent with anyone was a week, you definitely lose that part of the show where you're like, oh yeah, everyone voted out every other day.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Yeah, I don't, I don't, I don't make any friends. And that's not people. But unless people are legends and they're just like the whole time, yeah, you'd be cool.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Also, I would never ever make fun of Carl for comments like that. Dude, I feel that way after a bachelor party. I know. I go on a three-day bachelor party with a group of strangers and you drink for three days and by the third day,
Starting point is 00:33:59 we're drunk sitting around to fire and I'm like this, you all, I'll take a bullet for you. I'll die for anything. I felt that way about like seeing Peyton Jordy laugh. Yeah, yeah. Like we go to Coachella and we leave Coachella and I'm like this, I need to go on vacation with all of you every single weekend of my life.
Starting point is 00:34:13 Like, so for these people to be in here for weeks with no access to anything, I will never fault them for saying stuff like that because I'm like, I would feel the same way for Carl did make me laugh. I don't know if you guys caught this during the fairy tale stuff. I think this was on the date or maybe when he got back from a date and they all saw the book. He goes, you know, she's such a princess and like the word prince kept getting thrown around, but I'm no prince. You know, I'm like Aladdin, dude.
Starting point is 00:34:36 I'm a street urchin. And I was like, you speak Mandarin. It's Carl. Carl's Aladdin. If Carl had a dude, I'm the monkey. What's his fucking name? Apu. A poo, dude.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Carl? I have no idea how I know that. Carl is so fucking awesome. Like, I, again, we don't deserve Carl. None of us do. You know what else anybody laugh about Carl? You don't know what your date's going to be, right? So the boys previously, the lunch date guys, were kind of in like a cool look, like a very unbuttoned SSBD and whatever.
Starting point is 00:35:12 And then Carl and I get the night date. And it was a gorgeous setting. Like it was like a beautiful dinner with a chandelier and all that stuff. Carl's was wearing a nice slacks and a button down. But his button down was so aggressively unbuttoned for a nice dinner. Like, yeah, they had been out on a boat. I would have been like, yeah, you look amazing. But they were sitting down to that candle at dinner.
Starting point is 00:35:33 and his shirt was unbidden. To his belly. But I was like, dude, as you get there, you got to read the room. Like, button up, dude. This is a fancy candle of dinner, pat. Tighten up.
Starting point is 00:35:43 You look like me in the Montreal clubs when the guy's like, sir, you are an embarrassment. I'll be human. Please. This is a surfside of carbone, dude. Sir, this is a sharkies.
Starting point is 00:35:54 God, we went to a wicked nice restaurant in Vegas at the cup, and Grant brought in a surfside from outside. It was unbelievable. The waiter was like, literally we were at carbine. And the guy was like, I mean, I see that came.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Yeah. If you weren't with respected guests here, I would ask you to leave. That's hilarious. Beautiful. Way too far on button. That was great. Oh, dude, you clock this. The Love Island, the Love Island, the Love Island, the Love Actually theme playing during
Starting point is 00:36:19 Carl and I is dating. I'll tell you. Sent to me. They were pulling out all the stops for that romance. Like, I did, why? Why were we doing this? They didn't win. I, L.A.
Starting point is 00:36:28 30 minutes. It was unbelievable. I like, that was happening and I stepped away and I sent an email and then I went outside to get ice cream that was delivered and I came back in and that was still. They were still at the day. And I was like, are we kidding?
Starting point is 00:36:43 They had to be doing that to appease those fans though. That was the only reason. The thing is everyone's date is that long with all the actual dates are that long. They just choose to show good parts of it and they just showed that, I guess you have to read the fucking book. They kind of fuck themselves with the book because they were like.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Don't care. We wouldn't know if they were five pages. I didn't think I did the fucking shit about every. page of that book. I don't give a shit about any of these dates because they're all having these same conversations. There's not one new thing that is happening on these dates other than maybe Bryce saying I love you, which like whatever. That, by the way, that was. No, sorry, I appreciate and love that. But that was the only high take away. Also, I don't build up to that.
Starting point is 00:37:22 It was so obvious that he was, I mean, I'm not saying that's a bad. It was amazing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I was like, this is really, really well done there, mapping out this to him saying, I love you. Do you, did either of you, and I did not, the family answer. Stop, you're meeting me on. Do if you did either of you think that they were doing that because this is the end and you got to, they wanted to do one last push of like where the couple? It's not part of the vote, so it doesn't matter. Like, listen, I did not. As a skeptic or not as a skeptic, but if I were to be a skeptic, there's a ton of behavior from every couple.
Starting point is 00:38:01 in the last week, I would say. That is the way they're talking to each other, not their couples, their friends, everyone that is clear movement to win. And if that's the case, I don't fault them. We got to remember, dude. It's a game. This is a game show.
Starting point is 00:38:22 They are trying to win money while also fall in love. So I'm like, I don't blame. They know what the fucking people want, dude. You go on this show, you're an entertainment. Painer. Yeah. Like they, they're trying to
Starting point is 00:38:33 entertain the world watching this show. So they're like, yeah, dude, let's do some shit. And also, if Bryce is like, I love this girl,
Starting point is 00:38:43 I'd like to say I love you. Not do it now. Nothing wrong with that, baby. Play the game. Roll the dice. Like, I like it. Because it's like,
Starting point is 00:38:51 Zach gets back and is doing the, like, it's on the tip of my tongue. Shit. Like, I almost said, I love you. And Bryce is like, I'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:38:57 Because I need, let me take this. Let me take it from here. I was also laughing. When he came back, they told them. Remember they were sitting by the fire pit or whatever, and they're like, and while we were there, and then I was like, what, you get fucking married? And they're like, no, we told each other.
Starting point is 00:39:10 We love each other. Yeah. It cut to immediately, Kada and Zach. And Katie was like, I'm so happy for you. And I know she was like, I'm not happy for you. Second time someone does something that Zach won't do. Yes. And it cut to Zach who also looked pissed because he loves Bryce.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Like, he was like, no, dude. Nothing was funnier when he asked Trinity to be his girlfriend. and then told the guys or like he told them before he was going to do it and he was like, are you serious? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not like, oh my God, like he was like, are you sure?
Starting point is 00:39:41 Yeah. I was like, dude, it's okay. You will still hang out with him. There was actually a really cool moment between them when Bryce asked Zach what he's going to do after and he goes, dude, I'll follow Kada wherever, you know, so I'll get some Airbnbs in New Hampshire. I'm going to come stay with you.
Starting point is 00:39:55 And Bryce is like, yeah. Like, no, it wasn't even a conversation. Like, obviously you're coming to stay. with me in LA. That was fucking awesome. I love them. Good romance. I was also joking to myself when they did the walk down memory lane. Did you say they always do that? That was kind of cool when they all came down the stairs the final time. It was all the old picks of them.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Oh, no, no, no. They don't do the picks. They... I thought you were talking about, like, the walk specifically. They feel like a very weird, like, almost like a bridal walk. Like, they'll do like a... Just like... montage of them all getting ready, and then the guys are standing in the line, and the girl was one by one walk out, and, like,
Starting point is 00:40:28 they could see what they look like. Basically, I'm fucking... wedding but um no they don't normally have all those old picks up they'll so on uk which i prefer much more is like they'll do like a live finale like a there's like an audience yeah and when they'll go one by one of like oh you're in fourth place so then the fourth place people sit down with the host and then they'll recap and then they'll watch they'll watch back their recap kind of like they do in like the bachelor where there's like they're in that little corner and then you can see their like little montage of them on the show Okay, sick. Well, I thought those pictures were cool, and I was just dying at the idea of Melanie and sincere's pictures.
Starting point is 00:41:05 This is like him with soul, like her cracking, you know, like, what a jerkie you guys in? Yeah. It was like, the clips that they were showing, I was like, if they cut just soul right now and not Melanie, like, I wouldn't be surprised. Like, the things he said to her as a same. It's just sincere. You know, it's a count. He's like, he's like, I just, when I see your lips, I just want to kiss you. And then it never comes and you're like, who is it? Yeah, we don't know who it is. So real, so real. I Jen
Starting point is 00:41:30 I'm I Zach you laughed And I said it It's like Gen it's one of the most generational runs In the history of reality TV The fact of a bad man
Starting point is 00:41:37 The fact that that man made it to the end Is like It's annoying because then it like Validates that kind of behavior for man Yes Agree and it's It makes me so frustrated with the world When and no one's perfect
Starting point is 00:41:51 But when Corbyn and Casey Get sent home With Permita and Titi both couples that I'm like I really think they had a lovely connection they must be at home looking at that dude being like really KC and Tee T's he totally did
Starting point is 00:42:08 all of them they must be like this guy we lost to that couple and I also I hate it for Melanie as we said protect Melanie at all cost like she just got dragged through this crazy journey I still can't believe the guy number three like I kid and Zach being at four
Starting point is 00:42:23 and then them being it's all Mel man it's all Mel like the people are voting for Mel. Trinity's sister goaded on her video position. She's like, let's fucking go, bitch. I miss you so much. Brinity in five.
Starting point is 00:42:38 Dude, in five. Trinity in five. Danny is like NBA Twitter got this show big time this year. And Brinity in five is just an All of Fame. Dr. Wachs.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Brinity in Five, baby. Hall of Fame comment. And then I love the end, dude. You call it this Grant. Zach almost kissed Bryce at the end. Yeah. Yeah. He was gonna give him a smoo.
Starting point is 00:42:59 He was going. Like, Bryce was like, oh. He, like, pulled back a little. Yeah, yeah, he was like, what is actually him? Yeah, we talk about how pissed Ceda was. Oh, dude. She can't hide it, dude. Yeah, Cato was pissed.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Like, when that fourth place, dude. Oh, yeah, went to Zach, and he was, he said he was, he was a guy, I feel like I've already won, you know, cliche line. But, Kate, how do you feel and she's like? She took a breath, and I was like, always, she actually about to be like this. I mean, I'm a little surprised. We're four. I was like, oh, my, you're doing it.
Starting point is 00:43:30 That's great impression. That would have been great. I think we need, like, what? Do we think... It's interesting. We've just, we have just spent so much time of our lives watching this fun show. I'm pissed about it. Like, I'm not happy, but.
Starting point is 00:43:45 I agree. I'm not at all. Like, I, I... And, again, we're in L.A. It's, you got to wonder, does the finale of a show like this need to be, a little better. One million percent. What?
Starting point is 00:44:01 Pitch me something. That's what I'm trying to think. It'll be like at least what I explained about you. Okay. Like it should just at least be like like I don't fucking know, but yeah, it shouldn't be what. No, it's tough, right? Can I pitch you?
Starting point is 00:44:13 Yeah. Well, what did you say? Sorry? Can I pitch you? Please. Okay. I think any of the people that you had some sort of prior romantic connection with or kiss
Starting point is 00:44:24 or any of that stuff from before, I think they should bring them in right before, like, as they're coming out. And then as they're like, I love you, thank you. I'm so grateful. Da-da-da-da-da. You have them watch, like, the whole time. And then you have individual one-on-one conversations with those people.
Starting point is 00:44:40 So, like, you have to make, like, every single one from the prior of the show, they have to go into like the, say less room, basically. Yeah. Say less with each of a, and then go into the. So you want drama. You want fireworks. Yeah, I want fireworks. Let's see what, yeah, come on.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Well, that's, so that's, that's. So that's where I've struggled with the show is like the UK Love Island. I have found the montages in the finale so much. I'm like, oh, this is awesome. Because I feel like I just, it's, that show is way happier than the U.S. for interesting. At least this season. This season was hell.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Truly hell to get through. And I don't mean it was a bad show, but it was like there was so much anger. and I was getting stressed out watching the show on Sunday nights when you're trying to prep for the week and like these people were going to war with each other and I was like this is insane and then it's even worse online
Starting point is 00:45:37 I was like shit you're not happy I didn't think that part of this show was as bad as it's been oh really? It's been worse like in previous seasons holy shit yeah oh I can never watch Love Island USA again then the first season that really blew up
Starting point is 00:45:55 was season six and there was Danny always says season is incredible they ended up there was this whole decision that was made about who the people they had to choose
Starting point is 00:46:06 who they were going to dump internally. Yeah. And it was such a shocking decision and everyone was like how did you guys make that decision and no one was like like everyone was saying
Starting point is 00:46:17 different stories. They ended up bringing that footage back out uncut. Damn. because they were like, well, we need to show exactly the thought process. And they all had to watch it back. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Damn, indeed. See, that's the type of stuff we need. And Grant, I thought I were going to say this, and this isn't as dramatic as yours, but I would totally be interested in to hear or if the other couples had a vote too. Like America's voting, but also it was like, can't vote for yourself. Who would you win? And even the dumped couples. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Like, who. They've done that before. And they should have been. He were there. He should win. Man, you know, that would be kind of a cool factor, too, if it was... Yeah, because I think those people inside know exactly who they're dealing with. M, can you tell me more and Dan for the first time some of the Corbin and Parmita stuff?
Starting point is 00:47:07 Oh, yes. Okay, so I didn't get to watch Afterson last night, but I saw a bunch of clips. One of the clips was, so obviously it's been swirling that, like, they don't actually have deep conversations. And so... Corbin and Parmita, that is. Yeah, so the hosts of Afterson were... like, what do you think about people saying that you don't have deep conversations? And Permita said, I know so much about this man. I know about his family.
Starting point is 00:47:34 I know about his childhood. I know about his hobbies. Like, I know a lot about him and he knows a lot about me. And then one of the hosts for him afterson was like, wait, so like, what are his hobbies? And she just goes, fuck. She could have, she goes, working out. That dude, since I'm not bad. I'm not mad at them.
Starting point is 00:48:01 Like they, I said, What do you mean you're not going to hear some? They were, you're a fucking idiot. They were on a Fidgetation smashing. You have no issue with. If you, listen, if she had in the beginning of that kind of like this, yeah, I don't know that much about it.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Yeah, that's what she should. Then you should not be mad at them. But her stand on business and going, I know so much about him and gets asked one. That's for the easiest one. Make stuff up. Like if they're like this, where did he grow up? And she couldn't say it and or says something wrong, that's bad.
Starting point is 00:48:27 But she could literally be like this. Obviously, we know he loves to. workout. He's a huge NBA fan. He loves basketball. Like, just say your shit. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, the other, the basketball players, you don't drop that? Okay, so yeah, tell us this one, too. Oh, yes. So they showed a clip of them
Starting point is 00:48:42 in the car ride, like, leaving the villa. And they're talking about life on the outside and how it's going to work and how they're nervous, like, trusting one of another. And she is basically saying, she just goes, I've literally been
Starting point is 00:48:58 with rappers, like, And, like, professional athletes, celebrities, like, you don't know, like, I'm telling you, like, you don't, like, you don't have to worry. Like, I've already been there done that type of thing. And he was like, I've met girls who have also done that and they still fuck around. So I don't know what that point is coming from. Also, I wasn't worried before. Now I am. It was the way she said.
Starting point is 00:49:26 Like, she was like no one was asking. I was tracking early. I was tracking gas lights on this show. And the last final greatest gas light of all time is Parbita telling Corbett, I won't cheat on you because look at how many rich people I've already banked. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:39 I'm like, oh, okay. Well, these are the times. Thank you so much. These are the times. Love Island. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She is looking for the clout regardless. These are the times, Grant, where I'm like,
Starting point is 00:49:51 we're talking about real people. This sucks. Yes, that's a real man. I hate this so much. That is just brief. at all. Well, I hope they're happy and they figure it out. They're going to be. He loves the NBA. There was one other clips on an interview post show of the two of them and they were not in the same
Starting point is 00:50:09 location and then they were basically asking like, so are you guys going to like continue this outside of the village? There's just a very big pause and Permuda was like, yeah, of course. Like, we are going to like give it a shot. Yeah. I do think we all need to be adults agreed and stop trying to put any merit on how long these people last outside the villa. Because I think it's become clear in this show that like the majority of them don't last. Dude, and probably the majority of them are not coming on this show to last. This isn't the fucking batches. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:44 I will say there is one U.S. couple from a couple seasons ago. I think it was like four. That's like married, right? Married. Yeah. Well, dude, can I say something in defense of them? dead ass dude these kids are young 20 oh my god do right Caleb is 21 and they should have picked like late 20 early 30 agree but think about this and I'm not trying to say cheat on anybody if you make if you make a commitment to somebody see that through or whatever but legitimately let's step back for one second they are super hot people in their young to mid 20s and they enter a villa where there's five of the other opposite sex that they're like oh I you know I get to pick from this they leave the villa, go back to their lives where they're almost certainly not in the same city as that person,
Starting point is 00:51:29 and they have 700,000 new followers who are like people in that city who are like, I'm super hot to and I like you. I think it is actually extremely hard to be like, sorry, I'm committed to the fucking girl I met on TV for six weeks. Yeah. And I have, I'm 22 and I have like a billion missiles in front of me. And I'm like, why give sincere second chance when there's so many waiting for it? I mean, I objectively, I can't even imagine what they must go through. I mean, these people, I mean, sure, I'm sure some of them already have whatever version of a following because they're all beautiful people and they go on a reality show. They probably put themselves on the internet.
Starting point is 00:52:08 And then they come out of this villa and they all have like a million followers. I can't even imagine the stress that that must create. Insane. That is the stress? Money. Oh, Brian. Yeah, both. Both great.
Starting point is 00:52:18 I mean. But that's why I was saying, or as I was saying, as I was saying, earlier like kata and zach not making putting themselves into a relationship because they are aware of the outside like scares like it's it's almost a little bit commendable because like it's like with the i love you thing and not saying it yet it's like the more often you see people say it and then break up the second they leave and the more often they make it official and then same thing the less meaningful it is to have someone as your girlfriend or boyfriend or boyfriend or saying I love you.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Like, you're less likely to believe those words if people are just, like, throwing them out there. So I do appreciate that they're, they're self-aware enough to wait. Do you have any headers to close us out? Yep, just to close us out. I should have said my quote of the week was Brinidadian five because that was gas, but my quote of the week was sincere on his date with Melanie. He's giving her a topless massage while she wears only a thong bottom.
Starting point is 00:53:22 and he goes When I was younger I used to do this to my mom When she got home some work When I was like, Doc I didn't catch that Literally what are you talking about And I know he obviously means like
Starting point is 00:53:35 She sat in a chair And he like rubbed her shoulders But I'm just like bro You can't have Melody As make it on this table While he's slapping her ass Saying I did this for my mom But you got up in work
Starting point is 00:53:45 Incredible work Missed that Incredible work was sincere Wish I wasn't told about it. Incredible. Quick hitter, couple who lasts longest, Emily. I'm going to have to agree with you on this one and say Casey and... T.T. K.C. and T. I think they got stain power. I think they got legs.
Starting point is 00:54:08 I think they will last longer than Trinity and Bryce. I think so. I have faith in Trinity. Trinity, though, I will say about Trinity. The fact that she's... Where she from, Virginia or something? I think. Yeah. I was actually really emotional which was like, no one's... No one goes anywhere from where I'm from and whatever. But she belongs in L.A. Like that, she should be in L.N. Trinity is a star.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Yeah. So I'm like, they actually have a shot if she just moves. I do think that they may, if they don't end up, like, working out, I think they're going to pull a Nick and Alandria from last season. Nick and Landeria with a winning couple, I think. And they, like, were into each other for sure. but I don't know if they made it official boyfriend and girlfriend before they left the villa, but afterwards they were just like photographed everywhere.
Starting point is 00:54:58 They did a, you know, like Vogue photo shoots together. Like they really played into their relationship and they never answered the question of like, are we actually in a relationship or not? Still to this day, they are photographed together, but like I don't think they're actually dating, but they have made it a point to not be photographed with anyone else, not go out on these with anyone else. But like I don't think they're actually dating. Interesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:20 They're doing the PR stunt of it all in a smart ride. I think they're really good friends. Yeah. And they have a lot of respect for one another. Sure. Do I think that they're like in a romantic relationship right now? No. And I think that if Trinity and Bryce do not think, like, realize that they're not romantically
Starting point is 00:55:38 into each other, like they will do the same thing. Yeah, ride it out for a bit. Dan? Brinity 100%. Uh, I don't. I think this, what I'm, garnered from this season is a lot of lovely friendships. Yeah, I don't really think I see any longstanding relationship here. Corbin and Parmita are the two that actually aren't friends. Like,
Starting point is 00:56:03 they just want to bang. Everyone else is just friends. You don't have to be so crass. Then, they are crass. I didn't do anything. Sure, okay. Oh, and another thing Parmita said in the episode or afterwards. Oh, this sounds like this went really horribly for Parmita. Really bad. She said, she, I think it was when they were like, oh, you're going to give this shot. She's a shot. She was like, well, there's just something about the sound of like a 21-year-old hot guy from Miami that, like, lives in Miami that like doesn't scream like,
Starting point is 00:56:38 I forget the term she used, but it was like that doesn't give like, really like trustworthy vibes or like relationship. Doesn't she live in Miami? I thought so. Yeah, because he did. They're deemned. Yeah, they deemned. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:52 No, but I don't think that. I don't think she did. Is Corbyn 21? Yeah. He's got everything in front of him. I know. He's got everything. Damn, it's incredible.
Starting point is 00:57:00 He should run for president. That is the whole life ahead of him. That guy is so hot and he is just. He can do any. He doesn't give a shit about anything. He is a robot. He's a hot robot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Take over the world. That's the future. Good Lord. Hot robots. Okay, what should we do next? What show? Oh, I don't know. I think we should, someone should sound off.
Starting point is 00:57:20 But there are a lot of, like, new shows coming out based on, like, books that I'm very curious to hear thoughts about. There's also, like. I think we've got to go back and review all the old Disney Channel movies. Because all he's used to that, I know, will be fun. Yeah, but people just, people just love a little, love a little love show. Or do they love a love show? The cringier the show these days, the more people like them. I don't have such a moment.
Starting point is 00:57:53 You're right. It's crazy. It's, I just watched this, like, the cringiest movie. And it was just, like, your classic step parents move in. And they move from U.S. to London because the mom is marrying some rich London man. And then the stepkids hate each other at first, but then they start dating. It's like, I know exactly what's going to happen. but I still just want to look at it
Starting point is 00:58:18 and I want to ride it out and I want to talk about it. You know what we're going to do next is the next season of Great British Bakeoff. Ooh, that's interesting. Damn beast. I have one more recommendation. The ultimatum, have you always ever seen that show?
Starting point is 00:58:32 Oh, is that a... That or Temptation Island are very good shows. The Dating show is... The ultimaton is they'll take couples that are like one of... In one person in the couple is given the other an ultimatum of like, if you don't propose soon, like, we're done.
Starting point is 00:58:48 And they put them all in like a little like hang out and then... Oh, wait. Was this one of these shows in Austin? Maybe. I have seen this show. Sick. It's fucking nuts. Yes, they make you like, they make you re-couple with somebody.
Starting point is 00:59:10 So it's a group of people. Dude, this show is nuts. This is nuts. the most animated I've been this whole. There's a new season coming out. Grant, this show is like, it's like 10 couples who are all in a stage of like somewhere.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they literally force them to start dating one of the other people for a little while. And then to see, like, it is what crazy. Like they'll find someone else in there that they'll like make a friendship or connection, but they have to pick like, they just have to pick someone.
Starting point is 00:59:38 They're basically living with this. And they live together. And like, they'll say it's like two of the people with people like, were the ones in their couples to make the ultimate ultimatum. Like, they'll bond over that because it's like, well, obviously, I want him to marry me because of this, that and the other. And then, you know, they all come to these realizations. You can either at the end pick to, like, actually get engaged to your couple. It's leave with the new person.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Yeah. Either you agree to the initial ultimatum or you're like this. Actually, where not only are we breaking up, I'm now moving in with this new person. Yeah. Dude, that I, you just unloading to. locked a memory of mine that I have not thought about for a lot. This show is... So can we review it? Cuckoo Banana Sandwich this show. I don't know if I am emotionally stable enough to do another
Starting point is 01:00:25 reality show of real people dating, but that show is actually pretty funny and I could imagine isn't as toxic as Love Island USA. Okay. So maybe. That's leader in the clubhouse right now. Dan Loup and I might review, go back and rewatch the O.C. and review every episode. I'll do that with you. Actually? No, because I'm not joking. I was just thinking about this. My friend, my friend was literally watching it last night. He was texting me. Like, I'm watching OSCE right now. I was like, fuck.
Starting point is 01:00:49 Because when I watched it back in the day. We're going to review every episode. The two seasons will take us a year. Season one and season. Oh, it was only in time. Well, we can keep seasons on the show. Oh, well. Dude, justice for season three of the OC.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Justice for season four. I don't know if I, I can't remember if I fully watch it through it. Because when I remember, I remember very specifically when I watched this show, I was watching it like illegally because I don't know where it was being streamed, but I didn't have it. And so it was like, it just like, ads are popping up every five seconds, so I think I, like, gave up on it, and it was very bad quality.
Starting point is 01:01:18 So I do, regardless, want to go back. One of my great moments, this episode is completely off the rails. We'll wrap up. When I went to prep school, I went to prep school with a massive duffel bag, massive duffel bag filled with DVDs because I'm old. And I was like, the guy. I was in a movie store on campus.
Starting point is 01:01:39 And in one of the duffel bags, I think I had two, was the entire box set of all four seasons of the OC. And the dudes on the hockey team were like, you fucking loser. And I was like, give me two episodes. Yeah, two. And then you can call me a fucking loser. By the end of it, I had like 12 dudes on the team
Starting point is 01:02:00 coming to my dorm every night. Being like, we got to watch next episode of the O.C. Shout out Matt Quinlan, my prepschool roommate, same thing happened because he was like, you cannot be watching this. He's a football guy. And you were like this, you can. Dude, into Ryan Atwood could pop someone. From the PC, he was like,
Starting point is 01:02:13 he was like, she was not that bad. And then we got, yeah, same. That was Chris. Same. Chris still dresses like him.
Starting point is 01:02:19 You are Seth Cohen. It's my dream to be Seth Cohen. Can I unload the clip real quick? Yeah. And some things I just wanted, while we're killing Love Island. I think Carl said resilient is a really good word in reference to Mellie and Sincere.
Starting point is 01:02:34 And I think that is an incredible answer. I also think they put Sincere in that prom suit for a reason. Yeah. I think that was very intense. and I think we heard 75 different versions of the theme song Dude, it was crazy Zachary. It's a bop. Even though it's a bop
Starting point is 01:02:50 and we've all been singing it here together all night Like every time the camera's off we're all... It's unbelievable. Can we end the show singing it? Yeah, Emily asked you though. It's like the Mariah Carey. Is that a more guy or stuff? No, you guys are now just singing that song. No, we're singing that you're not me or not
Starting point is 01:03:08 anything else yet. That's all. I don't know. I know, but it's perfect. Or comment below what you think that these boys should review next and peace and love. Peace and love. Hey, everyone, this was a journey, this show and we love you all and thank you for going through
Starting point is 01:03:24 with us and we'll see you in the O.C. Brinidady forever. See you in the O.C. or the ultimatum. Yeah. I'm rooting for that, please. Brennity in five. Brennity in five.
